Day 23- What is a meal, fruit, or vegetable that brings Them to mind?

Her: corned beef and cabbage, beef roasts with potatoes and carrots, parsnips, leeks, pumpkin bread, apples in any form, garlic rosemary bread, stuffed pork chops, devils food cake

Him: microwave burritos, mac and cheese, fresh corn, strawberry shortcake, spinach artichoke dip, chicken alfredo, green beans, artichokes, honeydew, chocolate chip cookies

Her: pomegranates (obviously), dark chocolate with sea salt, butternut squash soup, snow peas, fresh tomatoes, homemade whipped cream, raspberries, pineapple anything

Him: pomegranates (obviously), hot chocolate with chili, swiss chard enchiladas, roast beets, collard greens with bacon, homemade applesauce, cherries, brisket phở with sriracha and hoisin

October Pumpkin Month! 🎃

Vegan Baked Spaghetti Squash with Pumpkin & Green Onion Alfredo

This was my favorite meal of this week. Absolutely delicious.

Pumpkin Soup with Leeks, Kale, & White Beans

The soup was not brothy enough for me, so maybe more liquids next time. We also soaked the bread in this soup, as the bread was like biting into concrete. Will not get this bread next time, but it was $2 so we thought we could try something new.

Burrito Bowls!

We made 2 cups of cilantro, lime rice (followed rice cooking directions and added seasonings). Pan cooked 2 cans of cannellini and black beans with a diced onion, garlic, and half a packet of taco seasoning. My partner added some pre shredded chicken to add to his bowl. Last layer was chopped radish (1 bunch) and 2 orange bell peppers. Sprinkled some cilantro and cheddar cheese on top.

Put sour cream and salsa in the fun colored containers.

Chik’n & Broccoli Alfredo Soup 🥣🥣🥣:

💚 Please Follow Our Page to have such a mouth-watering 🍅 Recipes on Daily Basis

What you need: 

9 oz cooked pasta (I used fusilli) 

For the cashew cream: 

1/2 cup cashews, 

1 cup vegan ch’k broth (sub veggie broth) 1/4 cup nutritional yeast 

For The Chick’n : 

4 oz of soy curls( or 2 cups of your favorite vegan chk’n), 

1 tbl Italian seasoning  

The Soup: 

1/4 cup vegan butter, 

1 large onion diced, 

1 leek diced, 

3/4 garlic cloves minced, 

2 tbl flour,

1 tbl Italian seasoning, 

6 cups veggie broth, 

3 cups broccoli florets chopped small, 

2 tsp crushed red pepper, 

1 cup non dairy milk, 

juice of 1/2 lemon, 

s/p to taste

What you do:

1️⃣ In a high speed blender combine cashew cream ingredients & mix on high till smooth.Set aside

2️⃣ If using soy curls, hydrate in water according to package directions. Use kitchen towel to squeeze out residual water from curls.On stovetop, drizzle pan with oil, cook on medium heat, add seasoning, cook until curls get golden about 6-10 min. Set aside

3️⃣In large pot, melt butter on med heat, add onion & leeks, sauté till translucent about 5-7 min

4️⃣Add garlic & seasoning, then slowly whisk in flour till golden about 2 min

5️⃣Add broth & broccoli, bring to a boil then lower to simmer, cook till broccoli is fork tender 6-8 min 

6️⃣Add cashew cream, non dairy milk, soy curls, & red pepper, cook until heated through. Add lemon & s/p to taste

7️⃣To serve: add desired amount of pasta to a bowl, add soup. Enjoy!!

I’ll do them all - Opinion on:

28. Geoff - Love him! So proud of his achievements and think he’s hilarious. And I love how he’s so proud of everyone in AH, and is always supporting them to try new things.

29. Jack -  Iconic. His aim to make Geoff laugh in Let’s Plays is everything. I don’t get that humour but I love it when he makes Geoff laugh. They’re such good friends!

30. Ryan - Yes yes yes. His murdery vibe and aesthetic is amazing. His skill in games always impresses me as well. Actually, all his skills are impressive. His ability to throw knives, dildo’s, moonballs. Amazing.

31. Gavin - Instantly loved him - who doesn’t? Love his British references, being from Britain myself. His nerdiness over cameras is so cute too! And I loved him in the AH rap and musical. Not his cup of tea, and didn’t really want to do it - but gave it his all anyway! Great chap.

32. Michael - So fucking funny. Oh my goodness, as soon as Michael’s voice is heard in a video, I know it’s going to be a good one. His amazing ability to make content of the shittiest of games is incredible.

33. Jeremy - Lil J is probably my favourite. He is so good at games, but is so humble about it!  He’s so talented and has so many ideas - absolutely amazing chap. His singing as well, how can I not mention that! And the fucking book! Boi please, give some talent to the rest of us.

34. Lindsay - Oh my goodness. What a wildcard. Her slipping in little pop culture references is amazing - like mentioning the Leek song in that minecraft episode a few weeks ago? Yes. Love her.

35. Matt - He handles everyone’s shit amazingly. Like being the target of so many Mattballs - his sigh of defeat and acceptance is never not funny. His love of animals is also so inline with me as well. Yes.

36. Trevor - Trevor is great, holy shit! I think he’s such a natural on camera. He so shines on On The Spot. I’ve gone back to watch those episodes so many times, and he’s hilarious on them.

37. Alfredo - My boi! Holy Moly, he had me dying on the Trivia Let’s Plays. Absolutely dying. When he was just dancing and clicking the wrong answers - fuck - had me in stiches. And I can’t not mention his godlike talent of siege. I love when they play seriously, and he’s a master at that game. A Good Omen was so interesting to watch.

38. Fiona - Amazing addition. Love how she played as Bakugou in Gmod for a while; so instantly was in my good books. Also, god, she can sell merch well - looks amazing in everything. That whole lollipop/candy argument is so iconic now, what a contribution to AH history.
