~Comfort in a Time Like This~

A/N: I had a lot of fun writing this, thank you for requesting! This can be read as platonic or romantic. No pronouns specified.

The house had been so eerily quiet the past few days…. The silence was suffocating.

It had been like this ever since Mr. and Mrs. Tokito died three days ago. It felt as if Muichiro never got out of bed anymore other than to get some food or water. He would always just curl up into a ball with all of his mother’s favorite blankets and just… cry. [Name] of course couldn’t blame him. The Tokitos had been like family to [Name], so naturally, [Name] was also crushed by their death.

Yuichiro had been the exact opposite to Muichiro following their parent’s death. He’d been working twice as hard, and putting himself under twice the stress…

So when Yuichiro was out of the house and Muichiro was in his usual spot, [Name] figured it was about time the boys were comforted.

[Name] decided to start with Muichiro and slowly approached his bed.

“Mui…? Can i come sit with you..?”

There was silence in the heap of pillows and blankets before the part where his head lay moved up and down.

A nod.

[Name] lifted the blanket slightly and sat down in the open spot next to him. [Name]’s hands reached into his hair and began to scratch his head in a comforting way. [Name] thought for a moment on how to get him up from his bed.

“How about we go sit by the river? It’s nice and cool right now…”

Muichiro sighed but nodded in agreement. So gentle hands took his as [Name] slowly pulled him out of bed. Muichiro was about to take the blanket but [Name]’s hand stopped him.

“It’ll just get wet and ruined Mui, leave it here.”

Muichiro reluctantly agreed and dropped the blanket. He wrapped his arms around [Name]’s in a clingy way and rested his head on [Name]’s shoulder.

The short walk to the river was quiet but in a good way. Getting Muichiro out of bed definitely was the right choice.

They finally reached the river and sat down on the pebbly shore. [Name]’s arm wrapped around his neck and rested on his shoulder.

They sat in silence for a while before they heard the sounds of footsteps. They knew it was Yuichiro returning and when his footsteps got closer, [Name] thought he as going to berate them for doing nothing.

But no, [Name]’s other shoulder suddenly felt heavy with the weight of another head. A hand reached behind [Name] to comfortingly rub his brother’s back.

A few hiccups of a cry were heard before Muichiro turned to bury his face in [Name]’s neck. [Name]’s neck soon became wet with tears and Yuichiro stood up to walk to Muichiro’s other side. Yuichiro attempted to wrap his arms around both [Name] and his brother. He rested his head on Muichiro’s back and spoke in a small and choked voice.

“I’m sorry that I’ve been awful to you… I don’t have an excuse for it. I was so wrapped up in my own way of grieving that I didn’t stop to think of how you feel… I’m sorry”

Muichiro turned his head to look at his brother. He stared at Yuichiro for a bit before turning his entire head and pouncing on his brother.

“I forgive you…”

As the brothers continued to make up, [Name] sat back with a satisfied smile.

Maybe things could go back to how they used to be?

4 ;; Mingi hummed before completely sliding his arm out from under you and rising off the bed, he was still lifting your head up slightly, motioning to Soobin to put his arm underneath. But Soobin was so focused on Mingi's physique, he really was a Goliath.

“Put your arm under her head." Mingi snapped him out of his anxiety entranced thoughts, he walked closer and slid his arm under. He slowly and careful climbed onto the bed, making sure not to wake you.

"Are you her boyfriend?" Mingi questioned.

In Soobin's mind, he was asking because he wanted to make sure he could make his move. But in Mingi's true intentions, he just wanted to make sure he was someone to trust. You didn't call him the big friendly giant for nothing.

"Um." Soobin hummed as his eyes graced over your features, you were beautiful. How could he ever hurt someone like you? He wasn't going to mess this up.

And he's not going to lose to some big buff gym rat.

5 ;; Soobin wanted to speak about Taehyun but it was futile, honestly at this point, he was just trying to not take blame for everything. So he sighed before speaking, “Yes! I'm sorry, I freaked because l've never been in a relationship and I overthink every little thing!"

He heard a deep sigh, "but i was going to talk to her! because she seemed to be taking it really well these past few days.." at that he heard silence, and in this case, that's terrifying.

"I'm not going to tell you what's been going on for the past few days, I'm going to let you figure this out yourself." Hongjoong's voice was baritone and faint, but the words confused Soobin, what'd he mean?

“What are you—“

"What did I just say?"

"Okay!" Soobin saluted as he sat on the floor, legs crossed like a kid.

🏠Aries Moons I noticed are the ones who are most often able to be friends with an ex or be friendly with new partner of an ex. They are the ones most often to be found in a throuple since they are emotionally independent.

🍁Sometimes I noticed you can go for a romantic partner that has the same or opposite Sun sign of your sidereal Moon. To give an example: sometimes someone who has Aries Moon in the Natal chart, this is sidereal Pisces Moon would go for a Pisces Sun or Virgo Sun romantic partner. Here it could also be another Mercurial Sun sign, such as Gemini Sun.

🍂 I noticed sometimes women go for partner with the same Sun sign as their father's Moon sign. To give an example: if her father had Capricorn Moon, she might go for a Capricorn Sun (even Aquarius Sun) or Sun in the 10th house. Similarly, if the father had Pisces Moon in the 12th house, she might go for a partner with Pisces Sun or Sun in the 12th house.

🏠Cancer over the 9th house people is most of the type out of all signs to go on an ancestry trip. They also might seriously reconsider dating their partner, if their family (especially the mother) doesn't approve of their partner.

🍁Considering all the recent drama and rivalry between sisters Kim and Kourtney Kardashian. It was actually bound to happen. 🍂People that have North Node in the 12th house or at a Pisces degree (12, 24) or in the 9th house or at a Sagittarius degree (9, 21), to a lesser extent North Node in the 11th house and North Node in the 10th house, could have a passive cash flow, such as through an online store, online website where they sell products. Famous celebrities with e-commerce store are Rihanna (Pisces North Node in the 12t house at a Pisces (24) degree) and her Fenty Beauty. TWS ⚠️: yelling, crying, scolding. Please do not read if any of these things trigger you.

Muichiro had noticed how tired Kiyoka had been all day. She had been up so late the night before studying for an exam they had today. He been worriedly watching her for the entirety of class. He offered for her to sleep on his shoulder on the bus ride to her house. And he sat uncomfortable and angry in her room as her parents yelled at her for being so clumsy and forgetful. Apparently she had forgotten to close the garbage bin in her rush to get to school when she took the trash out and a raccoon had gotten into the trash and tipped the bin over.

Hearing them angry at her like that made him angry. Ho could you talk to your own child like that?

He was sitting on her bed, waiting for her as she entered the room with a tear stricken face. Her eyes widened as she had expected him to be in the bathroom changing into pajamas. She desperately tried to wipe her tears as he started to ask what was wrong.

“Kiyo—“

“I’m fine.”

She instantly shut down any attempt to act as if what just happened affected her. She put on a forced smile as she went to go sit next time him.

“So! Would you like to do something before we go to bed? Or should we go straight to sleep?”

Muichiro sighed knowing she wasn't going to talk to him about it. He knew she didn't want to worry him about it.

So he let her pretend nothing happened. For a while at least.

Muichiro was laying next to Kiyoka on her bed, looking up at the ceiling. It was long dark out now and he looked at the clock.

1:29..

Kiyoka thought Muichiro couldn't hear her soft cries as she dwelled over what her parents said to her. She thought he couldn't feel how she was shaking. But he could.

He turned his body to face her and saw that her back was facing him. She froze and pretended she was asleep. She kept her breathing in a nice steady pace to further make it look like she was in a deep slumber. But that was until she felt an arm was around her stomach and something nuzzle into her neck. She let out a low gasp as Muichiro cuddled into her from behind.

“I know you’re awake… and that you’ve been crying…”

He sighed and Kiyoka shivered from the feeling of his breath on her skin.

“Why won’t you talk to me? I’m not gonna berate you like they did…”

Hearing that, Kiyoka finally let herself show how upset getting scolded made her. She started to cry again and turned to hug Muichiro. She started apologizing in between sniffles.

“I-I’m sorry for being so pathetic…”

Muichiro shook his head as he enveloped her in a giant, comforting embrace.

“No, no. You’re not pathetic… it wasnt your fault you were tired and didn’t have time to check… they shouldn’t have yelled at you”

Kiyoka sniffled a few more times before looking up at him.

“Thank you for comforting me…”

Muichiro smiled and kissed her forehead.

“Of course Kiyo… now, go to sleep, okay?”
