firstly, confession: when i was writing my scollace wedding fic a while while back i listened to mitski’s cover of ‘lets get married’ so many times in a row that for months afterwards every time i got excited my brain would play “oh baby baby...” thats not the song i just think its funny that scollace literally broke my brain for a while there.

anyways this one was actually a thinker bc i dont have playlist for them to fall back on. but! i am going to say ‘love you so bad’ by ezra furman. its hard to put it into words why i think it fits! has a Vibe. a little bit sad, a little bit silly, a little bit dedicated to a relationship thats tried it and has still stumbled a little bit. trying to shake my little brain for an answer or another song but it keeps landing on this one

i hate movie scott pilgrim. he just succeeds and gets what he wants without really changing or anything. comic scott pilgrim goes on a whole retreat to learn about himself. hes got a whole healing arc. i know they didn't have time for it in the movie, so im not mad, but i just like to rememver that They Are Not The Same.

i just love how stupid todd is. 90% of his brain may be unlocked for his vegan powers, but the other 10% got locked away. the 10% that gave him any actual intelligence. he's so stupid i love him so much.
