Today we wish Guy Williams a happy birthday. The universe's best space explorer, scientist, adventurer, father and husband, Prof. John Robinson, would have been 99.
We also raised Frances "Fanny" Antill, an orphan who lived with us for ten years starting in 1787 (she was two years old). Alexander and I had 9 children, including the ten years Fanny was with us.
Sometimes it's just like, I'm a little proud of myself for unpacking and unlearning a lot of weird bullshit from growing up in a hater ass household of people who love conflict and only know how to connect with others thru shared outage.
Sometimes I'll bring something innocuous up to my mom and her immediate response is 100% assuming we're about to start bitching about something so she'll come in with heat when I'm just like trying to have a normal conversation. Like last time I visited, I was trying to express that I really enjoy Toto but wish they played other stuff on the radio besides Africa and she was instantly like 'yeah Africa is a shit tier dumbass song' (boomer language version) and I'm just like Whoa ma'am I was just trying to talk about Hold the Line but whatever I guess! I'll keep it to myself.
