james: straight up refuses to act like a normal sick person. bro will wake up at 5am & go for a run & train for quidditch & study & do his head boy duties & be smilin the whole time.. all bc he wants to be a good role model & has no self-preservation

remus: rarely ever gets sick bc of his werewolf immune system, but he's still a little bitch around full moons

peter: chugs orange juice by the GALLON, takes timed naps, & demands illegal amounts of pepper up potion from madame pomfrey. is a literal machine and doesn't stay down for long

marlene: if she wakes up with a cold, she's always convinced that she can thug it out & beast the day but ends up becoming an absolute veggie by lunchtime. lily levitates her back to her dorm

lily: not even the plague can stop her from being an academic weapon. she can be bedridden & still furiously studying/working until mary, marls or remus tell her off & make her take care of herself

mary: sick mary gets clingy & whiny & blames dumbledore for anything slightly inconvenient that has ever happened to her

regulus: is absolutely disgusted by his immune system's inadequacy. kind of shuts himself away & refuses to talk for days (he hasn't lost his voice he's just grumpy). has emetophobia

pandora: yells when she sneezes & scares the shit out of people. starts writing her own obituary & posts it on wattpad

evan: doesn't even know the meaning of self-care. he won't tell anyone what's wrong until he quite literally collapses bc he's physically incapable of asking for help

barty: ipad kid cough. reg & evan sentence him to quarantine by locking him in a spare slytherin dorm & letting him run rabid until he's germ-free

dorcas: probably the most normal. she takes the rest she needs & asks her friends to give her class notes, but hates being coddled

Regulus Black:

* So smol, so cute 🥹 legit looks like a little doll 💅

* Usually spends his time in Grimmauld Place hanging off his big brother Sirius 😇

* Is totally raised by Sirius btw. Receives The Talk from his brother in the summer before second year. Very mortifying; he would not recommend 🙃

* Receives more punishments than Sirius after first year 😔 that’s when their mother realizes Sirius doesn’t care what she does to him, but folds quickly when his consequences are put to Regulus instead.

* Enjoys being the center of Sirius’s attention but otherwise hatessss it! 🫣

* Is a little genius. 🧐 Excels with his tutors—especially in potions!

* Besties with Barty, Evan, and Dorcas 🫶🫶🫶

* The loyalist 🤝 will do whatever it takes to protect his brother or friends, whether they like it or not

* Has his first kiss with Barty in second year. 😚😚 immediately tells Sirius, because he tells Sirius everything, even though he knows his brother definitely won’t approve (spoiler, he’s right)

The Marauders Era Character would definitely read Alice Oseman books if they could, so I made a few headcanons on what their favourite book would be/what fits them the most.

Regulus = Radio Silence. He feels sort of connected to both Aled and Frances, and is fascinated by Aled being able to create such a nice thing like Universe City

Remus = solitaire. Him and Tori are 🤝 Also he sees the marauders in the pranksters, and he always loves books that remind him of people he loves.

Sirius = I was born for this. We all can't deny that he would be in a band if he could, and his whole vibe is just so lister-coded somehow. I think despite him saying that characters are only fictional and he'd never get passionate about one, he loved Angel from the beginning.

Peter = loveless. It helpt him understand his feelings, as he is aroace, and gave him hope that he can live without a romantic or sexual relationship. It's his safe space.

James = the enthusiastic heartstopper fan, like, reading the comics, Nick and Charlie, this winter etc...

Evan = the heartstopper fan that never read the books, only watched the series. Because of this, he always argues with James whether the books or the series is better

Barty = watched Heartstopper with Evan but thought it was shit, and he claims that he 'doesn't read' but secretly lives for Radio Silence (he only read it because it's Regulus's fav)
