Little bit of an unorthodox ask. Not sure if this classifies as ToD or something but, may we get the girls of class 78 (plus Chihiro and/or Komaru if you're into those things) do a Fuck, Marry, Kill with the options being the 3 protags. With a small little sentence or 2 as reasoning behind each choice. Think it'll be entertaining, and hopefully fun to write!
Disclaimer: Below is content that's more on the racy side! If not for you, you probably shouldn't read!
(Normally wouldn't quite do this considering it goes past the limit, but since the requirements are on the shorter, not descriptive heavy side, thought it might be fun to do. Also replacing Kill with Kiss, so hope you don't mind!)
Kyoko
"Marry Makoto. Fuck Shuichi and Kiss Hajime. I wouldn't choose any other person besides Makoto at this point to marry. For Shuichi, I work with him and he holds a similar 'asset' to Makoto that I enjoy, so doing it with him would probably be a pleasurable experience. So that leaves Hajime for the kiss, and he's a fairly attractive man in his own right so there's no issues with that."
Mukuro
"...M-m-marry Makoto. He's the first person to really treat me like someone so, you know? As for the others...I-I guess if I had to choose, Fuck Hajime since I hear he's actually pretty strong and I would want to test that out in bed? And Shuichi's at least is cute enough to want to at least give a kiss?"
Sayaka
"I feel like who I'm going to pick to marry is obvious!~ It's pretty much the same like Kyoko for me! There's no guy but Makoto that I want to marry, so for the other two its pretty much down to simple differences that I like more."
Hina
"Um...I guess I choose marry Makoto? I know him the most a-and he's helped me with some...personal stuff. So he works! I'd Fuck Hajime since, yeah, I've actually seen him without his shirt on thanks to Akane, so trying him would really work. It just leaves Shuichi and he's kinda cute so it works out."
Celeste
"I would choose Shuichi, if mostly because he's probably the richest of the three who could spoil me best~ Makoto has the perfect body to whip into submission, which just leaves Hajime to bask in the right to get a kiss from me."
Toko
"A-a-a-as if I'd ch-choose anyone but my Master!!!!!...B-but on t-t-totally m-made up note...Hajime, Makoto, then Shuichi. O-one has M-master's body, th-the other w-would be good practice for him and detectives and I d-don't mix so...he's last."
Sakura
"If I were to choose a lifelong partner, than Hajime and his physique would be an adequate choice. I hear Shuichi is also working out with his peers, so I assume a...night with him would work out. I hope Makoto wouldn't mind just receiving a kiss."
Chihiro
"I-It's me next, huh? Well...I suppose marry Makoto, then 'do it' with Hajime and kiss Shuichi. I know Makoto far better than the other two and he's really supportive, so I think it would work best with him. A-after that, well, I actually met Hajime while working with Chiaki s-so...I-I probably shouldn't say~"
Komaru
"What!? Why am I here!? Ughhhh, all these options aren't the greatest...I guess, marry Shuichi, since he's kind of the hottest between him and Hajime to me, though with Hajime I bet he'd probably be pretty great in bed. A-a-a-and Makoto just gets a peck on the forehead! I'm done!"
Junko
"And saving the best for fucking last!!! Now, of these three peasants who shall bear the privilege of being with moi!? Puhuhuhu~ It's Makoto I'm marrying! That Hope has to have a limit and I wanna be with him for the rest of my life to see it! (Sigh)....I guess Hajime to fuck with....literally. He's not Izuru...but guys like him who get with someone outside of their league, seeing their despair as they try to satisfy me is pretty fucking good. Yay, yay, yay! It just leaves Shuichi to take a nice, wet, french kiss from me that it'll make him crave more! Too bad he'll never experience it again~ Puhuhuhu!"

So y’all apparently liked the danganronpa digimon au art sooo
Here are all the kids’ ✨ partners ✨
I say all of them but like. there’s 30+ kids so I only did some please bare with me agsjdhssk
Dr 1 Kids:
Chihiro: Tentomon
I love me some computer kids with bugs hehe. I think they’d get along rlly well and Tentomon would be super impressed with Chihiro’s computer skills. Also it gives me Izzy vibes
Mondo: Labramon
DOG. PINK AND WHITE DOG. I think he’d absolutely love Labramon. He definitely has some hesitation at the beginning because it doesn’t look manly at all but shhh that’s his character growth :]
Kiyotaka: Gaomon
Punchy wolf who adheres to rules/his own code… sounds familiar hehe. I’m specifically thinking of Thomas’s Gaomon but like.. in a different font. Taka would freak the fuck out over keeping a ‘pet’ on school grounds tho lmao. Also this made me think of the fact that one of Taka’s fav gifts in dr1 was boxing gloves… hehe
Kyoko: Kudamon
Cool, calm, collected. Again, I’m thinking of the one from Data Squad. Kyoko would be standoffish but I think she’d warm up to the little guy quickly. Also….neck rest hehe
Makoto: Agumon
Obligatory Agumon, but honestly I think it fits pretty well too. Confident and friendly, and not afraid to rush head-on into things :]
Byakuya: Renamon
YEAH. Hear me out: I’m thinking it would be similar to Rika’s. Strict relationship with their partner, basically just another of Byakuya’s tools. Only at first, of course, they warm up to each other eventually. Also I think it’s funny to give him a fox girl hehe
Celeste: BlackPawnchessmon
She’s got an aesthetic going on!! She needs a partner similar to that, and what’s better than a little chess-piece set guy?
Aoi: Betamon
It’s a little excitable fish. What’s more perfect than that?
(Currently also debating on what to give Sayaka and Leon so wait a bit for those)
———-
Dr 2 Kids
Hajime: Patamon
YES this one gets me very excited!! They just fit together okay I can’t explain it but it makes me unreasonably happy. Also the fact that Patamon evolves into holy digimon and I want an Izuru arc makes me unwell in the best way possible
Nagito: Impmon
HEAR ME OUT. Little unlucky imp meets unwell lucky guy. Also I think their vibes mix pretty well together
Kazuichi: Hagurumon
It’s. it’s a floating gear. that digvolves into a robot. Literally what is more perfect. Kazuichi would be scared at first but they’d warm up to each other :] Also thinking about making him hella chill to balance out Kazuichi’s anxiety.
Fuyuhiko: Gabumon
Super loyal little guy whose also really nice and friendly meets very emotionally constipated yakuza. Match made in heaven.
<— is also digging the idea of fuyuhiko being upset at being given another ‘tool’…
Chiaki: Wormmon
A super friendly, soft-spoken worm. Sounds like he and Chiaki would get along :] Also, again, computer kids with bugs makes me very happy
Sonia: Bakemon
A nasty little freak? For a princess?? 100% yeah. Not only does it subvert from what you’d expect from a princess’s partner, but it’s also literally a ghost and would make her occult-loving self extremely happy. They watch horror movies together<3
Gundham: Lopmon
Mmmm Gundham was hard to pick for, but I’m thinking that this guy will work. Hear me out: chill little rabbit friend with our lovable overlord of ice. It likes to go along with his theatrics :]
Peko: Falcomon
Sword woman and ninja-bird. Yep yep they’ll work, hehe. Fr tho, I think these two’s personalities mesh pretty well. Another ‘tool’ situation, but they’ll break out of that mindset with some help
…okay I’m done now

Bakugou’s daughter brings home a Boyfriend
Bakugou x wife!reader
Ft. Bakugou’s daughter
Warnings: fluff, lowkey Crack, sexual mentions, small angst, cursing, Bakugou being such a dad
BAKUGOU’S MASTERLIST
A/N: This is one of my favorite types of Bakugou. Domestic father Bakugou!! So bc of that fact, this piece was born. Hope you enjoy!
Bakugou as a boyfriend? Bliss. Bakugou as a fiancé? Heaven. Bakugou as a husband? Euphoric
Bakugou as a dad?.......he sure is something
Don’t get me wrong, Bakugou would be the ultimate dad
Baby crying in the middle of the night? Sleep love, daddy’s got it. Baby needs a bottle? He can warm it up with his hands. Baby’s feeling bored? Look at these mini fireworks in his hands!! Katsuki’s got it all
But that’s a baby Bakugou
Bakugou with a teenager
oOf
Katsuki’s teen will be either one of two things
His best friend
Or his mortal enemy (whom he still loves endlessly)
His 16 year old daughter, Katsumi, was both
And yes they loved each other very much, but they also got into battles on who could cook dinner better, who Y/N loved more, hell, when y’all came back from a restaurant THEY FOUGHT OVER WHO MADE IT TO THE FRONT DOOR FIRST
But this battle? Y/N might just let them Kill each other...just this once
——————————————————————————
“WHO THE FUCK IS THI-“
*SMACK* (thx Y/N)
“Daddy, this is Izuru! Izuru this is my lovely mother and that’s my shitty dad that I love so dearly!”
Katsumi definitely inherited her guts from the Bakugou’s
“Nice to meet you Mr and Mrs. Bakugou!”
Ah man, here we go
Silence. Pure, awkward, scary, silence. And of course Y/N’s nervous twitching HOPING that her dear husband doesn’t murder the green haired boy. As the young couple stand infront of the doorway smiling, the older couple is staring at them, one in nervousness, and the other in shock. (I’m talking Denki going 4 million volts shocked)
“Well.....Welcome Izuru! I knew you’d be coming over soon but I didn’t expect it tonight. It’s lovely to meet you,” Y/N ever so kindly said once she let out a sigh.
Her husband almost got whiplash from how fast he turned to look at her. “Knew?!? You knew about this kid?? And didn’t bother to tell me?!??”
“Well if I told you, you woulda stopped this meeting from happening ya jerk!” Y/N visciously explained.
“YA DAMN RIGHT CUZ-“ silenced with another smack from his wife. Y/N sure learned a lot from Mitsuki. “Please come in you two, I’ll start dinner.”
As the young couple sat in the living room speaking, the older one was in the kitchen preparing food. Well one of them was, the other was too busy burning a whole into the poor boy’s body with just his eyes.
Tumblr media
*SMACK*
“Ow.” Continues to stare
“Suki stop that, you’re gonna scare the poor boy.” Y/N said.
“GOOD. I DONT WANT SOMEONE LIKE HIM CONTAMINATING THE BAKUGOU LINE!” The blonde dramatically yelled.
“Contaminating? Love, we don’t even know if they’ve had sex. I doubt he’s “contaminating” anything any time soon.” You said with attitude.
Bakugou just stared at you know with the same look.
“Hmph!” And turned to look back at the kids.
“HEY!” Bakugou screamed.
“Heyyyyy~” Katsumi replied.
“No not “Heyyyy~,” Katsuki began and replied with a girly impersonation of his daughter as he walk towards the couple. “I mean, HEY, as in have you had sex with this kid?” He sternly asked.
“KATSUKI OH MY GOD,” Y/N screamed as she dropped something in shock.
“.......Yeah, so what?” His daughter replied.
Y/N wasn’t even mad. She already knew. She could tell. Mother’s instinct I guess.
Katsuki was fuming.
“NOPE! NO! THIS RELATIONSHIP WONT GO ON! YOU’RE TOO YOUNG TO BE HAVING SEX!” The older blonde screamed while looking at the now blushing green haired teen and his rebellious daughter. And Y/N was just giving him this...look.
‘What a fucking hypocrite’ you thought to yourself.
“How old were you when you fucked mom?”
(ITS QUIET AINT NO BACKTALK)
Pure and utter silence.
Katsuki started stepping back from the couple while facing them and nodding his head. “.....use condoms,” and walked back to his deceased wife.
As dinner is placed on the table and everyone takes their seats, Katsuki can’t help but stare at this boy. Why does he seem so familiar?
Everyone just ate and talked. Grades, school, when did y’all meet, how long has it been? The usual. But Katsuki remained silent while thinking. And then..it clicked!
Katsuki slammed his hands on the table and stood up from his seat looking at the boy across from him. “What’s your last name?!”
Izuru was nervous because he was well aware of who Katsumi’s father was and how her father’s relationship with his own father was kinda iffy.
“M-Midoriya sir.” He nervously stated.
Katsuki saw red.
“DEKU?!??????!!!!!” He screamed
“Oh come on Katsuki! Like that wasn’t obvious!” You said rolling your eyes.
“There is NO WAY IN HELL I’m gonna let the Bakugou line be contaminated with Deku’s genes! Our family line only brings in the best of the best!” Katsuki proudly and loudly stated.
“So what am I?” Y/N asked.
“The best of the best! You were and are the perfect one for me Y/N! You know this, I know this, everyone knows this. And look at what we created-“ he was interrupted by his wife.
“A mini you?”
“A MINI ME! And who wouldn’t want that?!”
“Dad.” Katsumi said.
Now that caught Katsuki off guard. For the past 16 years, Katsumi has always been a daddy’s girl. She never called him “dad,” ew. She said “Daddy,” or “Shitty dad.” As Katsuki turned to his daughter he could see the look in her eyes.
“.......you really wanna be with this kid?” He asked.
“I really do.” Katsumi said while grabbing onto Izuru’s hand.
“...Ok then. You can be with him.” Katsuki calmly said.
Katsumi excitingly got up and ran towards her dad’s seat giving him a hug.
“Thanks daddy,” she said while giving him a kiss on the cheek.
Dinner continued on as normal as it could. Katsuki was just gonna have to learn how to let go.
Later
As the married couple got ready to sleep, Katsuki was hanging outside their balcony.
“What was up with you Blasty? I haven’t seen that kinda Katsuki since UA.” You jokingly said as you went to stand beside him.
“You’re not scared?” Katsuki asked.
“Of?”
“Katsumi. She’s growing up. She has a boyfriend now. That girl is having sex! She’s not daddy’s little girl anymore.” He sadly said.
“That’s what this is about? Katsumi growing up? Suki, this was always gonna happen. She’s in her prime teenage years. She’s 16! A lots gonna start happening.” You began.
“I know that but-“
“But nothing Katsuki. You can be scared of her growing up, I am too, but we can’t be so scared that we try and stop her. You just have to know that Katsumi will always come back to us no matter how old she is. And she will always, always be a daddy’s girl. Her entire world revolves around you Katsuki, but we gotta let her go at some point. We have to let her grow. That’s how the best of the best are made after all, right? It’s what we look for in a Bakugou.” You finished.
Katsuki couldnt do anything but smile. You were right. He knew you were. And he was willing to let his little cub grow.
“......You’ve gotta stop interrupting me when I talk.” He laughed.
“And you’ve gotta stop saying the dumbest shit in the world.” You teased back.
He pulled you in for a quick peck and just held you there in his arms. He was so glad he had you to keep him grounded. You’re the best of the best after all. It only makes sense.
“Daddy?” Katsumi walked into her parents room, unnoticed.
As the two broke the hug to see their daughter, looking a little timid, Katsuki spoke.
“Katsumi, hey princess. What’s up with you.” Katsuki asked as he walked towards his daughter.
“You’re not...disappointed in me, right? You know, for who I chose to be with. I’m sorry if I chose Izuru but I-“ this time, it was Katsuki who interrupted.
“Hey hey, no of course not baby bear. I would never be disappointed in who your true feelings pulled you to. I don’t want you to apologize for anything when today I caused most of the trouble.” Katsuki said while wiping one of his daughter’s stray tears.
“You know I’m never gonna leave you guys. Right? I’m gonna grow up but I’ll always want to have a close relationship with you and mom. I love you guys, and I’m not going anywhere.” Katsumi said.
“We know Katsumi. And we love you too. And we’re far from disappointed in you. We are so proud of the young woman you’ve become today.” Y/N joined in.
Katsumi ran to her mother and gave her the tightest hug, and Katsuki couldn’t help but stare at his two girls. His world. His entire reason for living. All right there in his arms as he pulled them in for a bigger hug.
“Thanks you guys. Well, I’m gonna head to bed. I’ve got a date with Izuru tomorrow and I don’t wanna be late.” Katsumi began walking towards her parents door until Katsuki called her.
“Hey baby bear,”
“Yeah?”
“Izuru. He seems alright. He’ll be good for you.” Katsuki admitted.
“Yeah. He really is. He’s the best of the best after all. Reminds me of someone I know.” Katsumi said while leaving the room.
Yeah. Katsuki will be just fine.
A/N: Sheesh. This kinda sucked but I did this in my literature class sooo....it’s still credible work since I was writing, right? Yeah..?....No?...yeah ok. Anyways, HOPED YOU ENJOYED IT BEAR CUBS🧸💗
P.S. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE LOVE AND SUPPORT!! And I PROMISE I’ll get better and produce more work. Feel free to leave requests!

“Running doesn’t matter. I’ll hunt you down if I have to.”
aka Naejunko angst (?) idk this came from yandere prompt list so yea (Warning: Violence, guns)
enjoy!
“I have to keep running… I have to keep running… get up Makoto come on..” It's the mantra that he had to keep telling himself, he was close! Getting so close! To where? He wasn’t sure! But he knew he had to be close, somewhere! Anywhere! From that god forsaken base! He needed to find the others, surely they would be looking for him! That would mean they should be around the area surely with his luck the others would be able to find him or if his luck was being extra nice maybe he’d find them first!
Though a pain throb quick made him hiss in pain, staggering slightly as he took shelter in a half decrepit hotel lobby. Furniture was both turned and unturned glass and debris everywhere, the light from the maroon sky making it look more eerie than it should be. He quickly ducked down behind the receptionist desk, trying to make himself as small as he could manage, he would have gotten under completely but that would be rather hard when you have two arrows in your back. His entire body felt sore and tired, his wounds from his “executions” not having properly healed yet, he was sure a few of them had tore themselves open again already, he just prayed that there wasn’t a blood trail.
“Calm down Makoto..calm down..” he closed his eyes trying to steady his heart beat and control the trembling throughout his body, “Calm down,” another breath, “She probably has forgotten about you by now. Yeah that's it..” another, “ S-She found a new toy to play with, she has gotten over you..just focus on get out alive-”
Static crackles from above him catching his attention, with minimal pain he shot out from under the desk and found a CB radio, perfect! He quickly clamored up the mic and began fiddling with the dial Maybe it was a call for help?! Or Kyoko, or Byakuya-
“Makotoooo baby~ you're heaven sent you know so why are you SO hellbent on being such a bad boy to me~?”
Makoto dropped the mic slowly backing away from the radio..No...she- she couldn’t have! He already pulled the tracker arrow out from his thigh! How could she-?!
The radio let out static crackle, her voice felt closer; it was like he could still feel her on him, her breath, her perfume, her nails, just her.
“Makaroco babybabybaby~! You know I like a bad boy I do! With their cigarette smoke, motorcycles, bad attitude and all, so cooooool right!? But they also reek of insecurities, blood and cowardice. But you aren’t them baby, no.. you're my sweet little darling my little macarena~. OH! You're just so sugary sweet you probably gave me diabetes! That being said..” His mind felt like it was on autopilot at this point, he didn’t even realize that he had got up and started running again, until he landed on the ground with a thud and looked around, finding glass around him, ah he must have jumped out of a window. At least escaped-
“AS I WAS SAYING-“ With a screech of the sound system outside her voice came over again, “That being said Makoto, you have a weakness.. a big weakness baby and it's that you care entirely too much for people.”
He began to run, he didn’t care, he ignored the pain in his back and throbbing pain all over his body, he didn’t care he just needed to run, he needed to stop hearing her.
“Your- no.. OUR friends after all the shit they put you through you still cared for them, in the last trial you got them out of despair, they didn’t deserve it. Earlier you told them to direct all their anger toward me! The mastermind and in the end you couldn’t bring yourself to even fully hate me, you wanted to help me. How could I say no you babe?” “Babe?” he spat, letting out a dark chuckle, he could feel himself slowing down his limp “Yeah sure.”
“You know Makoto there's a lot I’d do for you, you know? It's SO weird honestly I can hardly believe it myself, a lot of things bore me but not you. You somehow keep my mind entertained, you keep me guessing, predicting! Even when we were in school and dating! But one thing was obvious, you were quite the popular guy herbivore. Those bitches would flock all over you! Both the main and reserve course, they were like leeches, those whores...trying to suck all the kindness out of you, probably hoping you’d knock them up with a kid and tie you down, I- i couldn’t have that we were dating after all! I tried to tell to back the fuck off; the main course girls grew their brains and did until valentines time day that is.. anyway those reserve skanks didn’t listen… so let’s just say.. I thought them a lesson? Oh makoto you should have been there. It was delightfully gross! Blood everywhere! Some remainders of guts Oh-! and one bitch even pissed herself it was fucking hilarious Mako!!”
Makoto could only lean against the wall in horror as the fashionista let out howls of laughter, meanwhile he felt even more guilt swelled in his heart. First his classmates and now some girls he doesn’t even know or remember were dead because of him?!
“That little incident cost me a good outfit and shoes but it was allllll worth it for you baby~. I couldn’t have you taken from me, your mine. MINE. I did soooo much for you Makoto! I marked you, loved you hell I even Killed for you! I was even such a loving girlfriend that I brought you to my base where I treated your injuries, gave you good meals, shelter and new friends! And you still leave me! How could you be so cruel Makoto Naegi?! HOW COULD YOU?!”
Said boy cringed at her cries, he couldn’t truly tell if they were actual tears or crocodile tears but even so it made him want to go and comfort her, hold her close and tell her everything was fine, no Junko- Murukro would probably still love you even after all you did-
“But no matter, I still forgive you. You’re just running because you want to be a cheeky little shit dontcha? You wanna play games huh? That’s ok babe, I like this game cat and mouse, prey vs predator, hide and seek? Tag even, games like these are rather fun especially when the mouse is a cute lil boy like you Makoto~ Oh~! I am ready to pounce ya! Rawr :3!”
It was at this point that Makoto felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand up, he looked around, there was no one around except for those of the dead and from what remained of the taller buildings he could see no one so... why did he feel like he was suddenly being watched? Before he knew it he started running again.
“But you should have already known Babe, running away is pointless because in the end Makoto Naegi I’ll always find you.”
Junko smiled as she clicked off the microphone for a moment to line up her shot. She looked in the scope again to make sure that he was there and he was probably because of the limp in his run, that fall in the pit and the swords did a multitude on him. And though it hurt her poor maiden heart to see him like this, it definitely made it easier for her. Normally this would be Izuru’s job but this time however he was waiting a block away with the car to scoop him up before he bled out to death. She checked the barrel of the sniper rifle once more, the upgrades Izuru did the bullets should disable him for a while. She looked back into the scope, lining up the shot once more, laying her finger gently on the trigger while her other hand reached for the mic. She held it close, her eye watching him like a hawk as she watched his sad effort of a run.
“But please remember that I’m doing this because I love you Makoto.”
She pulled the trigger without hesitation and watched as he fell to the ground, wriggling around on the ground in pain as he cradled his knee in agony. Then the strangest thing happened: he stopped, and he...started to crawl?! What the hell?! Why wasn’t staying put like a good boy?! Nononono this wouldn’t do! She knew he was rather stubborn and (she said so herself) unpredictable but now was not the time for that!
She looked back into the scope to line up and take the shot again. Taking the second shot wasn’t hard, especially since he wasn’t as much of a moving target as the first time. She made to pop his other knee or maybe it was his thigh? She wasn’t too sure but she did know it didn’t hit a non vital area so he should be good and he looked to be down for the count finally.
“Kamukuraaaaaaa~” she sung into walkie talkie that was attach to her coat, “Be a dear and go the little rascal will ya~? Mama can’t have her big catch lying on the street once you get him, be sure to come back around and get me too Kk? Gooooood!”
Clicking off she sighed and began to pack up, she knew Makoto would be fine after all she did make sure not him in non-vitals areas but with these new injuries on top of his probably already reopened previous wounds. He would probably be bedridden for a bit, but that would be fine by her, it would only insure that he’s incapable of leaving-leaving her. He didn’t need his friends, his friends clearly had no trouble discarding him in the 5th trial, so why would they need him now? She needed him, not his hope or anything, just him. His optimism, kindness, comfort, warmth and love that's all she wanted. She would be damned if she let anyone take him from her.  Didn’t they know? Junko Enoshima always got what she wants no matter the cost. Even if it required bloodshed.

I was thinking about how the class 77 will react to Yuki!Sora. I believe that some of them will think that he's Akane (Beacuse, he's in her body), but Hajime/Izuru (With the talents he has as the "Ultimate Hope (Or, as i call it, "Ultimate Ultimate")) discovers that, even if the body is Akane's, the mind is not.
OHhhh class 77 reaction!
Things to consider: How they would find Yuki; If they thought Akane and Utsuro were already dead/ If they even knew that they existed/
I usually lean towards they thinking both Akane and Utsuro were already dead, or perhaps not precisely them as individuals, but like, the external ultimade despair pair (their title) were dead, and thus not searching.
I like to imagine that they would become aware of Akane being alive("alive") when they caught wind of news of the Kisaragi Foundation, as well as the bizarre events surrounding them (ie: bridge collapsing)
Komaeda voice: Oh yeah that sounds like some luck power guys
(we interrupt this post for my little existencial realization that there are 2 Akanes djsiojia)
Fuyuhiko: Oh shit, another one?
Hajime, who had Izuru information and i suppose would be aware of the external despair pair: Uh oh, i recognize this luck method...
Kazuichi: Gee... wait if we threw Komaeda at them would that luck vs luck power neutralize itself?
Class, minus Hajime and Imposter that are organizing a plan as to how to scout for info and prioritize the situation:
Class:*X files theme starts playing*
Class: *scrum debate starts*
----
As for going to find Yuki, i think that would be... hard perhaps. If Yuki didnt want to be found then i can see a scooby-doo-like chase where Yuki not knowing keeps avoiding them by sheer luck.
As for finding Yuki though, i think that since this process (heh) would have a lot of info gathering, they would end up slowly realizing that Yuki did more “good actions” then bad. Like, in a similar way the Voids tracked Utsuro, i imagine that they would start to realize a pattern of Yuki being around places where miracles/lifes getting saved happen.
So, while some people might still be “hmmmm dont trust” about him, i think most of them would be open to him. Like, in a neutral way. Ie: We wont have many preconceived notions, since you might be actually helping people, but if turns out this was only for a cover, your ass is gonna get kicked.
As for meeting Yuki... Oh ... so many possibilities in what could happen and what kind of interactions would happen.
I feel like there would also be an misunderstanding in the beginning, where they think its actually Akane, trying to redeem herself as a former despair. Oh, I also wonder what he would think on the 77th Class, since last he heard, they were actually still ultimade despairs.
Yuki, fists clenching: Time to check if those Divine Luck powers are actually that OP.
There would be a lot of wariness at first i think. In fact, maybe the true reason the class is able to find Yuki, is that Yuki himself allowed since he saw as an opportunity to arrest the other despairs and stop atrocities in some way.
Then after an epic drama of misunderstandings, he realizes they are actually not despairs, and only using it as cover to stop other despairs.
Yuki: I will defeat you despairs!!
Class: Wait What.
--
I feel like Yuki!Sora and Hajizuru would be like *spiderman pointing meme* over “normal person that wished so hard to be special BUT OH MY GOD WHAT THE FUCK NOT LIKE THAT UNIVERSE”. And. “Wait YOU too had an AI friend/shaped you as a person, that went against their code and DIED in order for you to live??”. And “So now you want to go through atonament and use your powers to save lifes”. And “so you also had another consciousness of someone else in your head huh”.
Yuki: Yours was also in the body of an terrorist??
Hajime:....I uh... was the terrorist.
Yuki & Hajime: 🤝
Dang, i really want to write an interaction between Komaeda and Yuki but i am unsure on how it would be.
I can see them talking and relating to each other’s luck. Perhaps while Komaeda would realize Divine Luck was mostly good and an amazing hope, it also had drawbacks in both isolation aspect and that if it was gifted to someone it would eventually deteriorate.
An hope speech would likely get inserted there somewhere but i can see it either as uplifting or
Yuki: *blinking meme* Did you just implied people dying for me was a good thing? CatCH THOSE HANDS-
Imposter and Yuki talking and Yuki talking about his difficulties with the new body, and like, Imposter helping him as someone that, like relates to identity crises, and they chatting about gender and idsajoadjodasj yeah. Let them bond!!
I feel like there are so many possibilities its pretty fun to think through.

i am saying this to myself no one read my cringe bleach postcanon
ok but this is what goes down though: renji+rukia marriage. im just saying it happens. im just saying ichigo and orihime would come? come on they saved Da Soul Socielty like seven times they can RSVP. fuckin
momo comes too obviously.. obviously kira is invited and stuff but hes zombifried and not exactly the life of the party no one rly wants him there and he does not want to go. not actly important if he shows up but i Do think the angst factor would be tastey like if hes on the side like conspicuously Just Standing There. alright ive Shown My Face gotta go :|
momo also on da side like hm yep lovely shindig let me just :) have one more drink :) tee hee lovely party guys! im crying because im just very happy for the happy couple GOTTA LOVE IT OK ILL BE OUTSIDE GETTING SOME AIR
orihime outside Actually getting air (lotta people she barely knows carousing and being. You Know.) like o hi uhh Miss. (FUCK I KNOW IVE SEEN HER BEFORE WHAT WAS HER NAME UHHH) Hows it going? Oh my god shes crying GIRL CRYING ALERT SUPPORTIVE MODE ACTIVATED
momo, kinda tipsy and a little bit totally miserable: no its fine its nice! i just kind of pictured things differently you know! i should be happy for them! but i keep thinking about how i was gonna get married someday. selfish right
orihime: :( babe no. come here. sweetheart. youre beautiful theres lots of time to find love! besides arent shinigami like immortal? :)? the right person is out there for you i promise!
momo, definitely tearing up now: no its not that i actually had someone. but like. thats the problem lol
orihime: ???
Tumblr media
orihime: oh god. :( thats so sad i
hang on
like still alive type corpse? like has part of his own reiatsu still intact type walking around making everyone uncomfortable type ohhhh yeah actually that sounds like. a solveable problem to me
momo: ?!?!?!!!?!?!?!?!?!
orihime: yeah man if you can get him to consent i can almost definitely revive him with my godlike powers. nobody seems to remember this but i am almost the most powerful guy in this narrative
kira an indeterminate amount of time later: i dont rly see how this is going to improve things for my actual. utility as a killing machine. which is all i am good for etc etc sad boy noises
momo, clinging to sanity by a fucking shred at this point: shut the fuck up and get good dude you cannot imagine the stress this situation has put me under
orihime: cool alright let me juuuuust
kira: OH GOD IM ALIVE JESUS CHRIST I CAN FEEL EVERYTHING
momo: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
rose, like 25 miles away: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
mayuri, who definitely just lost a pet project and is prepared to argue intellectual property rights AFTER taking it out in Blood: what are u doing with my personal property i fuckin made that thing >:(
rose, finally getting a chance to use that sweet sweet bankai that got like 2 panels of airtime: you know for some reason it didnt occur to me until just now that someone else could do your job :) die :)
* le epic battle* [30+ episodes (colloquially known as the ‘mayuri eats shit forever’ arc)]*
downside to this is we may never get that sweet hoodie look on izuru. im gonna hazard that a guy who kinda gets his power and entire like character scheme from themes of despair, pain, and disempowerment mayyyy be cheated out of a bankai by this move. but it is simply the sacrifice we will have to make for the constantly-shafted-side-characters-get-their-happy-ending (and, can’t emphasize this enough, mayuri eats shit and dies forever) arc

Can you do hajime x s/o who hate him? (But s/o is been controlled the real one is sweet and kind)
Tumblr media
Why? Why do you hate him? Do you hate him caused he didn't remember his talent?
Will try his damn best to convince you that he is not a bad guy...
(Tho it's backfire caused you been controlled)
He will go tell chiaki
(just cuz she is the only one who he think as a friend)
After knowing he is talentless that's became more worse
"Ahh...that's it...s/o must have hate caused i am talentless..."
Chiaki littreally need to help him through his break down
Ngl, chiaki probally hate you. Just a little tho, mostly caused hajime suffer caused of you
BUT ONCE HE KNEW YOU WERE CONTRO-
Hajime will be more determined to end the killing game.
But once he knew it was him who were the mastermind he go to yandere mode
Reason: he didn't want to lose you
He is scared. You already hate him knowing he is the mastermind fill him with despair
(Junko is punching air rn)
He kidnapped you before the trial started
Be it clorophom or any object that he choose to you woudn't see it coming at all
Will tortured you if you acctually "break" him...
"I just want you to love me s/o..."
"Oh yeah you were been controlled"
"My sweet s/o...don't worry haha..."
Will reveal he is the mastermind in order to make you surrender to him
It'll be a good choice anyway
It's not like you has a choice to begin with...
Once you be realesed from the controlled and be kind to him he will cry at right there.
Will be so happy
"HOW COULD I NOT!? S/O FINNALY NOTICE ME!!!"
"HEY!S/O LET'S SPEND T I M E TOGETHER okay...?(●v○)
"Will try to use his power as "ultimate of everything" as an excused to make sure you didn't go away.
"Using all of your wrong doin at him a excused to make sure you feel guilty"
In short he is guilt tripping you
If you try to leave/fell for someone else he is gonna snap
"PLEASE!!!CAN'T YOU SEE IT!? I TRY TO PROTECT YOU FROM VERY STARTED OF KILLING GAME AND THIS IS THE THANKS THAT I GOT!?!?!?"
Will beat the shit out of nagito if you fell for komaeda
(Nagito be like :ahh~ultimate hope is gonna kill me~♡)
(And his unrequited love for hajime hinakoma fans is punching air rn-)
Overall hajime is terrifying yandere to has well it's obvious caused he has izuru on his side. He is one of the most dangerous yandere to has,his jealousy is dangerous as well make him made and that's would be the caused of your bruises. Why would he'll be kind to you if you didn't be kind to him as well?
If he ever feel jealous expect a LOT of hug and kiss if he ever see you hugging someone(yeah,he fuck you up)
No mercy
(No in dirty way you perv-)
He punish yeah no feeling guilty sure he didn't like you to cry but after all he done can't you just been nice to him?
But you're not gonna be like that right? You're a kind person right?
Hajime is good at guilt tripping is just something he good with...
But it's not like he's gonna let you know anywhere
And you never know becaused you the caused of hid despair now you need to cure it by staying by his side.
Experience : 7.8/10
Reason : he do anything to keep you by his side even if it's mean to hurt you. Deep down he is sadistic beast.

Komahina Oneshot
Komahina ft. Trans Hajime. Another Tumblr inspired post. The tumblr account is catboymoments. Gotta give credit where credit is due.
If you didn't know that this is very gay and trans then idk how you got here but I'm happy to have ya.
But seriously, this has some pretty big trigger warnings
- Gender Dysphoria
- Complicated pregnancy
- Mentions of abortion
-PTSD
Anyways Onto the Oneshot!
Wow! I'm Pregnant! We're gunna have a happy family! Except...I'm a guy.
I feel horrible... This has been going on for about three days now. Mornings are the worst. I can't tell why. It's starting to worry Nagito and it's not like I can fake it, I tried. You can't fake puking. I can at least fake being somewhat lively.
...I need to get up. Need to get moving. Need to- Nevermind! I need to puke! Fuck... This feels disgusting. Maybe I should try and diagnose myself, or have Mikan help me. I felt a pat on my back; I knew it was Nagito but, I couldn't look at him while puking my guts out. When I finally finished desecrating the poor toilet I got up. I was sweating, pale and covered in whatever I managed to puke up on an empty stomach. I flushed the toilet and washed my face.
Nagito gave me a worried look. What was once an 'are you okay?' question turned into, "How are you feeling now?"
"I'm better," I responded. There wasn't much else to say, "I'll get this checked out soon, I'll just give it another day or two."
Nagito face turned stern, "Hajime, you need to get this thing checked out today! This has gone on for too long." He went out of the bathroom and grabbed his phone, "I'm calling Tsumiki-chan."
"Nonono! It's okay Nagito! I'll do it tomorrow! I can handle this myself!" I responded, a bit panicked. I never liked getting help from others, it didn't feel right to bother someone over something I can do myself.
"You said that yesterday. I'm calling Tsumiki-chan." He said in a more stern voice. I couldn't respond, there was no point in arguing with him when he's like this, plus; he's right. He made the call. I didn't hear Mikan's side of the call but, from what I can hear on Nagito's side, they made a time, 1 pm. He hung up and looked back at me, his glaze softened.
"Let's get you something to eat, okay?"
"Yeah," He smiles softly and gave me a small kiss on the forehead before leading me out of the house. But, while we were walking towards the cafeteria, a little voice told me something.
You know exactly what's happening.
I shook the thought away.
...
Breakfast was, mostly, fine. Only going to the bathroom once! Now, I have some time before I have to talk to Mikan. Nagito insists that I rest but I've gotten bored of doing that. I decided to just walk around the island. It was a really hot day and I was getting tired so, I couldn't walk for long. Huh, that never happens, I usually have more stamina than that... Maybe Nagito was right. Well, Nagito is usually right. Maybe I should just listen to Nagito more.
I started walking back, only taking a break to puke near a tree. Now, I'm really sweating, shaking too. I felt light-headed. Then, an unexpected helper appeared. She put my arm on her shoulder, behind her neck, her other hand supported me from my side. I didn't look up, I didn't need to. Her light orange kimono with scattered pink cherry blossoms gave away who she was.
"Hey Saionji..."
"Didn't listen to Komaeda again?" She knew it...
"Nope." I responded with as much satire I could muster.
"You're an idiot."
"Yup" Indeed I was but I could think about that a little bit more when my head wasn't spinning like crazy. Hiyoko helped me back to my cottage before leaving me to enter it myself. I opened the door and both Nagito and Mikan were sitting on the couch. I guess she came early.
"Hey guys, it seems like you were both waiting for me. Sorry about that."
"I-It's fine Hinata-san. So tell me a-about your condition. I've only seen g-glimpses of it" Mikan said.
So I explained. The morning sickness, the lack of energy and stamina. The fact that I can't even walk around the island without becoming pale and out of breath. Mikan thought about it and started checking her tablet. I assumed that she was looking up what this could mean before her eyes widen on something.
"I-I....I never knew this. Umm...I'll b-be right back." She seemed nervous as se got up and practically ran out of the house.
You know where she's going, you know what she's getting
There's that voice is again. I have no time for hallucinations or weird creepy messages.
...
Mikan returned after a few minutes with a little rectangular box in her hand.
"Welcome back, Tsumiki-chan. Now, are you going to explain why you suddenly freaked out like that and left?" Nagito said.
Mikan's gaze fell on me. Her look was almost unreadable. It's very unlike her.
"Hinata-san. Are you trans?" She asked bluntly.
"Wh-What?! What made you ask that??" I panicked. How did she know? How did she guess??
She turned her tablet to me; my profile was on it as was everyone else's. She pressed one of those special info buttons and a symbol appeared next to my profile picture.
The Female Sex Symbol...
Silence...
...Shit...
"I'm surprised that you didn't realize that this button exists. After all the creator of these tablets had a member who's entire case was solved because their sex was revealed." Mikan said. She always did have more confidence when she spoke facts. I didn't have anything to say, neither did Nagito. Mikan handed me the box; it was a pregnancy test.
"I w-won't ask. That's your b-business..." Her timidity returned. No, she won't ask because she'll get her answer depending on what I say or do. I could hand her back the test. I could lie and say I'm a virgin but, that wouldn't help me...
I got up and went to the bathroom...
...
......
...Are...Are you serious...? The test came back positive?! I...don't know how to feel about this... At least I know what's happening to me and probably why it's hitting me so hard.
...I feel too sick for this.
You knew this was coming.
'Izuru...not now. Please.'
You know you can't fully get rid of her.
'Who are you talking about?'
As if to answer my question, he materialized but not as himself. He materialized as a young girl. A girl that looks a lot like me.
'Fuck off, Izuru. You know that's not me...'
Is it not? It's who you once were.
'That was never me! She was someone else. Just a person of the past.'
And that way of thinking is what got you here. It's time for you to face the facts. You may be a boy but, you're not male. You forgetting that is why that test is positive. You took a chance, you were risky and here you are.
'We're done here.'
I was steaming. I couldn't listen to another word that fell out of that man's mouth. I needed to calm down. I took some deep breaths and left the bathroom. Mikan left but, Nagito was still there. I wasn't concerned with him knowing that I was trans, he already knew; he would have to know since he's...
"So, what happened? What did she give you? Are you okay?" he asked but, I had a feeling that he knew. I didn't want the mood to be sour. Having kids is supposed to be a good thing so, I wanted to lighten the mood with a pun.
"Well, I guess I should be invisible."
"...What? What do you mean?" He looked puzzled.
I looked at the pregnancy test. "Well, I'm a trans-parent." (Yes, I took this pun from the same tumblr user)
He looked at me, still puzzled, for a few minutes before he realized.
"...oh. Oh OH! You don't mean-" He looked happy, so happy. He gave me a hug, "Oh my god! I've always wanted to be a dad!"
He has? Great... Personally, I never wanted kids. I used to but, secondary school... changed me and showed me that really, I don't. But I can't just make a split second decision, he seem so happy...
"Yeah, but can we discuss this a bit more? I have my issues that I need to address."
His smile faded a bit "Uh sure"
We both sat on the bed of our room. I didn't know what to say. I don't know if I want to do this but, it would feel wrong just to abort with no conversation.
"So umm... Nagito. I...I don't know if I'm- we're ready to have kids. I guess I'm kind of worried?"
Tell him the actual reason, Hajime.
"I don't know what effect this might have on me and I'm scared that I might not be a great dad..."
Hajime...
"Is that the reason?" Nagito asked.
"...Yeah"
If you don't tell him, I will.
"..." I wasn't going to say anything but, Izuru kept on his threat. I lost control of my body.
"He has gender dysphoria" Izuru said, "So this pregnancy is reminding him of his uncertainty. The place he used to live in was not the most accepting of transgendered people"
Nagito fell silent, he was stunned. Damn it Izuru... did you have to be so blunt? I got control of my body back, I couldn't even look at Nagito, I felt so ashamed, I was putting my anxieties above a life. It felt...wrong. Or is it a life? It's a clump of cells but, it can become a life. I've been around too many mixed influences. I wish I knew which decision was the good decision.
Then again..
Is there truly a 'good' decision? On one hand, I'm killing a potential life and that will haunt me but, if I'm not ready to be a parent, I'm bringing a child into a world neither it nor I'm ready for and with a current war having, it's not like adoption is an option and, like Izuru said, it forces me to accept-
"Why didn't you tell me?" Nagito asked. He didn't sound mad, he sounded sad and even a bit guilty, I didn't answer, "I'm sorry if me saying that pressured you." He gave me a hug. I felt so guilty. "I can't say that I fully understand but, no matter what you choose, I'll be in your corner."
"I'm gunna give it a week or two then I'll make my decision," I said nearly in tears, "thank you for being so supportive."
...
It's been two weeks, I thought about it everyday. I was already two week pregnant so with another two weeks, the time for abortion via safe mentions was soon ending. I hesitated and swayed back and forth on my answer. I truly didn't know for a while. But, about two days before my decision I found myself sticking to an answer. I'll stick with this pregnancy. It might help me get over my gender dysphoria, maybe not fully but, somewhat? Plus, it's quite an efficient way to tell everyone that I'm trans. And who know, maybe I'm a better parent than I think I am and with Nagito, I feel like I can take it. It's sort of strange; I'm aware of all the health risks, the mental tax, the problems and possible sadness but, I feel like I can take it. I feel calmer know that I at least, have one person- well two people with Tsumiki, in my corner.
"I'm keeping it" I said with a hug.
"Really? You sure?" Nagito asked.
"Yeah, we're gonna be a family." I smiled, it wasn't fake.
But of course, like everything else in my life, it didn't come without complication. I was already pregnancy four weeks and was just feeling more exhausted. Another week had passed and I kept feeling worse. I didn't know why. I felt exhausted and cold. I was exhausted but not tired, not sleepy. I was awake and shaky. Nagito called Mikan again when he started to notice how pale I was getting. She said it was Iron Deficiency Anemia along with Hypertension. Two things that were really common in pregnancy. She gave me medication for it and it did help but not fully.
At about 8 weeks, I told the group about me being trans and about the child. Mikan recommended to do that instead of immediately because that's when the risk of a miscarriage goes down to less than 10 percent. The group was so happy to have two children born at similar times. Yes, two! Sonia and Gundham were having a kid as well. What a coincidence! Sonia insisted that we started talking more about it.
12 weeks in and everything has been going as smoothly as it can. There's still work, there's still complications, sleeping is an issue, I have been diagnosed with Insomnia, this pregnancy has also made me more dependent on Nagito and has given me more time to think and I don't know if I like that... But, everyone's been really supportive, they haven't treated me any different and because I have a bit more time, I can hangout with them more. I've learnt a lot more about Sonia. I knew a bit about her, like that she's into witchcraft and serial killer documentaries but, she was also into slice of life novels so, this was a dream of hers. How cute.
Weeks 16 - 30 can be summed up here. They all passed the same; excited conversations, preparations, fun little talks, work, insomnia, exhaustion, etc. What was really note worthy was while Nagito went out on a mission to the main lands, Makoto brought back a fluffy white dog, a Great Pyrenees puppy. We agreed to keep and so when Nagito came home, I surprised him with the dog. At first, he was silent, then he started crying; I was scared the he didn't like the dog but, that changed when he went up and hugged the dog, he was so happy. Apparently, this was the exact breed of the dog Nagito used to have. Wow, how lucky. He sat with it for hours before being willing to pry away from it and go to sleep. We decided to call her Lucy.
Fast forward to week 37, about 3 weeks before we thought I was due. I was pulling an all-nighter on this one project to have it done by tomorrow. I knew I was pushing myself but I was almost done, I wanted to free up my schedule so I can have more time with my baby. Nagito, however, was starting to get concerned.
"Hajime, it's really late. You should rest."
"I'm almost done, okay? I just need to finish this last assignment and I'll be in bed. Just give me about an hour." I said, trying to easy his concern.
"Alright.." He didn't sound too convinced but he did leave.
I continued to work on my project and the time flew by until in the middle of my assignment, my stomach really hurt, more than usual. Do you really need to kick that hard, Future Child? I tried to continues working but the pain would just come back worse every time. Maybe I should just go to bed... I tried to get up and walk back to my bedroom but the pain sent me down the floor, everything hurts...everything hurts...I couldn't even scream, I was in so much pain...I felt something wet trickle down and I knew what it was at this point. I didn't know what to do, I was crying. Was I going to die? Was I just going to have to give birth here and now? What can I do??
Then, my savior came into the room. No not Nagito, Lucy! She took one good look and me and went sprinting out the door. I could hear her barking and soon she seem back with Nagito.
"Hajime!! Are you okay!?"
I wanted to say something to something to that question; 'yes', 'no', 'shut the fuck up and call Tsumiki' but, I couldn't let out a sound. Luckily, he took the hint and called Mikan.
"Tsumiki-chan. I'm sorry to wake you but, Hajime may be going through contractions? Please help?!"
They talked for a bit, I could barely focus. I just remember Nagito carrying me to the bathroom while talking to Mikan. I don't know if she was just fast or if I blanked out for a bit but, Mikan was there before I knew it. They both briefly conversed before they got me dressed in a cheap, long white shirt and set me down in the bath. Mikan started sticking needles in me, I don't know what for and she was still talking to Nagito. She finally looked at me and told me to count my contractions and how often they happen. After each one (Because it hurts too much to talk during contractions) I would tell her, when she decided that they were regular enough, she grasped my hand a little and told me to take a deep breathe. I did. Then she told me to push.
That's when it hit me, this was happening now! Oh my god, I was not ready for this but, I don't have much of a choice. So I pushed. Oh god it hurts! I felt like my bones were breaking. She then told me to breathe again and I did, we repeated this until the water started to turn red with blood.
Blood...blood...
Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...Blood...
Blood? Did someone die? I felt like I was somewhere else. I was watching the murders of the student council again, so much blood...like a perfect quality horror movie, I saw them all murder each other clear as day, every person, every stabbing, every slicing, every shooting, all the bloodshed, clear as the day I first saw it. I never forgot any of their faces...
Then, as if it couldn't get worse...all the murders, all the executions...all the blood, clear as day. I was just watching, unable to do anything. Nagito...Chiaki... They were gone. Was my happy life all a dream? Is this the reality I'm truly in or am I hallucinating and this is the fake reality? I can't tell, I can't tell... I want out of this nightmare! I hear voices in the distance, at first I couldn't understand what they are saying but, as the voices got louder, I could slowly understand. Were they calling me? I got my answer.
"HAJIME!" Nagito shouted, dragging me back to reality. I panicked at the different scenery. My heart was pounding, threatening to rip out of my chest. I looked around to see where I was, I was in the bathroom. I couldn't keep my vision still.
Nagito cupped my cheeks, obviously trying to calm me down. "Hajime look at me, okay?"
I tried to focus my vision on him, his eyes full of panic and worry.
"You're having a panic attack. Whatever you saw, it's just an illusion. You're okay, I'm okay, everyone is okay. Please try to calm down."
My throat was dry and hoarse but, I took a deep breath. I continued to do that until I became calmer.
He smiled down at me "Good...good."
Mikan then piped up, "Komaeda-san, I'm sorry but, we do need to c-continue with this..." Then she got an idea, "If blood is a trigger to Hinata-san then can maybe he should just look at you instead. I'll still need your attention Hinata-san but, just keep l-looking at him."
"Yeah, that's a good idea." Nagito agreed. I just nodded. So Mikan continued with her instruction and I kept my eyes on Nagito. It made the birthing a little easier to see his smile and soon enough I did my last push, I felt a weight leave me and while I was still sore, it didn't hurt nearly as much anymore. That's when the fatigue washed over me. I could feel myself passing out already.
"Hey hey...um, I know you're tired but, can you stay awake just a little longer please? Just until Tsumiki-chan says it's okay. Please?"
I didn't want to, the work should be over by now but, I could do it. Voices faded in and out, I was barely able to concentrate. Then, Nagito gave me a kiss on the forehead.
"You did it Hajime! It's okay now, you can rest." His voice was quiet and soothing.
"...Great.." I replied groggily before falling asleep almost immediately after.
I fell into a deep, very needed sleep. It was relaxing for once. No dreams, no nightmares just, floating in the darkness. But, I had to wake up.
The sun was shining through the curtains, not too much sun but, just enough to give the room a bright warm haze. I still felt sore but, it was much better than last night. I sat up and yawned.
"Oh good morning, Sleepyhead." Nagito said, playfully. He was sitting right next to me, looking at me with a warm smile. "I was wondering when you were going to wake up."
I felt a bit out of it, it seemed so peaceful right now, I just wanted to bask in it for a while. I took the time to notice things around me, like the fact that I was wearing something different; it was one of Nagito shirts and my boxers. I also noticed a little crib in the far corner of our bedroom with what looks to be a baby inside.
"Do you want to see your child?" Nagito asked.
I could only nod. He got up and went to the crib, picked up the small child and came back to the bed. Handing me the child he said,
"Meet your new baby son"
I held the child gently in my arms and at that moment, everything became worth it. He woke up and looked at me. I was expecting him to cry but, instead he just giggles grabbed my finger. Now I'm the one whose crying!
Nagito chuckled, "Don't cry on the baby!" He said playfully but, he was crying too.
He gave me a kiss, "I love you, Hajime"
I returned it, "I love you too, Nagito"
We both held our son and I knew, deep in my heart, this was the right decision.
We're a family now!
If I got something wrong, please tell me. I really tried and I wanna get it right.

I wanna hear you rant about the Gin vs Hitsugaya anime fight bc I love seeing your pov and you clearly write better than whoever extended that scene :) pretty please
Tumblr media Tumblr media
out of character.  DON’T ENABLE ME SO MUCH !!  No but I cackled when I first saw this ask because oh my god, clearly you saw a taste of my annoyance about the anime adaptation -- no, adaptation implies it was accurate, I’ll say the anime’s take was “inspired by” the manga’s quick run-in. I’ll start by saying this moment is supposed to be a bit important considering, via the audience’s point of view, THIS IS THE FIRST WE SEE OF TWO CAPTAIN-RANKED SHINIGAMI CLASHING. The only other captain-involved fight we’ve seen thus far in the manga is Kenpachi  ( who is an outlier and should not be counted... no, I joke... but, still, Ichigo was not an equal to him, his sword was sliced through like butter. )  The whole reason I enjoyed this encounter between Toshiro and Gin was simply this; it wasn’t some fancy multi-chaptered fight. IN THE MANGA, THERE ARE ONLY TWO BLOWS MADE. One, by Toshiro, to begin the fight. The second, to end it, is Gin’s strike.
I want you to know that I’ve rewatched this specifically to answer this ask, and only due to this, as I wouldn’t have ever sought it out otherwise. HONOR MY SACRIFICE.
Read more for length. I’m merciful.
In the anime, they monologue at each other, and it’s mostly a combination of Toshiro making three separate death threats  ( he starts this off by saying “I’ll kill you before Hinamori arrives” and then goes on rewording it each time, and then also repeats the death-threat he gave Gin prior to this conflict about “I’ll kill you if Hinamori bleeds” )  and then also Gin and Izuru talking about how truly powerful and amazing Toshiro is -- no, this isn’t me being bitter or petty, I literally shit you not, Gin has a line that is legit “AS EXPECTED FROM HITSUGAYA TOSHIRO, CAPTAIN OF THE TENTH DIVISION, A CHILD PRODIGY OF TH' SORT THAT ONLY COMES ALONG ONLY ONCE EVERY FEW CENTURIES. HOW VEEEERY DANGEROUS. YOU’RE SERIOUS, AIN’T YA?” like don’t get me wrong, love a good sarcastic little shit comment like that, but the amount of times the anime pumps Toshiro up like he’s their shinest new cash cow ( and he is, at this point, it is not even 50 episodes into the series and they’ve realized everyone likes him and he’s jumped to high ranks in popularity polls... earning him filler spotlights, and eventually his very own non-canon movie )  so everything coming out of Gin’s mouth feels like more bullshit than necessary. Izuru’s already literally monologued, internally, how powerful and amazing Toshiro is anyways. Why this ?
Not to mention that, prior to saying that long-winded shit, Gin’s haori changed length three times  ( and once it was longer than his entire body by several feet, and no not in a ‘to show motion’ way )  and most importantly Shinso was drawn, consistently, at katana-length for the duration of their little spat where the following, too, happened: Gin frog-leaps after doing a backflip, Toshiro gives Gin two (2) haircuts, Gin ruins some floorboards and gives Toshiro at least one splinter in his arm, Toshiro whilst wearing socks lands on Shinso’s blunt edge and pushes the sword down with his footsie because that’s how that works, there’s another backflip somewhere in there that Gin doesn’t need to be doing, twirl, twirl, and ballet, Gin’s face elongates until his chin is bigger than his face, Gin spends ten+ seconds purely dodging very close strikes to his face as Toshiro is the only one making breathy growly and ‘tsuuaaah’ sounds, there is a brief moment of no gravity as Toshiro keeps hacking at Gin midair and Gin blocks it over and over again but they still stay in the air but they’re not standing or jumping or using reiatsu they’re just like, momentum-locked I don’t fucking know, Gin frowny faces as he blocks because like somehow this kid who doesn’t even have more reiatsu than him, whose arm strength should not be an issue, is like. making him nervous?? as sword sparks fly. if you know me at all you know I hate when they fuckin’ firework sparkler-ify swords clashing.
Anyways, all of this happens whilst Shinso is the wrong length and Gin’s hair is getting purpler by the second and this entire thing is somehow a big jack-off to Toshiro’s immense strength even though he’s screaming and wailing at Gin like a child and Gin’s just a vessel at this point to Enhance Toshiro, which, fine, okay, but at least be more accurate with it god damn. ANYWAYS,
THEY JOUST. They literally run at each other, swords centered, and run past / to the side of one another. Jousting. “Cause that’s how that works. No slashes, no cutting motion. Just swords centered, because the animators were like “no worries guys I know swordfighting basics that’s a legit pose” yeah it is WHEN STATIONARY. Not rUNNING IT DOWN.
And then Gin’s sleeve is cut, somehow, from the Jousting, because wow Toshiro wow wow wowowowow, and then Toshiro comes back and starts wailing at Gin again and Gin blocks it, again, and it’s all very annoyingly repetitive, and Gin’s frowning and sparks are flying and Gin’s using Shinso, the katana-length wakizashi I guess, with two hands because like I said, the animators knew basics and basics are “katana are used two-handed” like. Okay, you’re not wrong, but I cannot stress this enough: SHINSO IS NOT A KATANA. It’s shorter and meant to be used single-handed!!!! sTop!!! So then Gin rips off the tattered part of his sleeve and throws it at Toshiro, who swipes it away from his face using his Zanpakuto because that’s intelligent and a piece of cloth was definitely threatening enough to use your sword to bat it away  ( btw, Hitsugaya wasn’t holding his sword with two hands at this precise moment, so he could have just... used his other hand )  and then Gin goes in for the classic “stabby stabby rapidly at you while the animation gets a little breather because we repeat this cycle a few times with flashy bgs and phew money made” ... WE ARE FOUR MINUTES AND THIRTY SECONDS INTO THIS FIGHT BY THE WAY. Gin does this for seventeen (17) agonizing seconds straight. Yes, I counted. That was sixteen and a half too many seconds for me, personally.
Toshiro somehow lassos Shinso whilst Gin is stabby stabby-ing with Hyourinmaru’s chain component. I say component like it’s somehow some type of beauty guru’s lipstick holder, but really am I that wrong ? When else has he ever used this feature ? Anyways, he lassos Shinso because yeehaw I guess, god I’m falling apart at this point can y’all tell????? I need a drink.
and so, because now Toshiro has Gin’s sword somehow trapped with chain even though it’s just looped around it, he backflips over Gin for a cool trickshot, no blow issued, just vibes, and Gin uses a big brain moment to tug Shinso and the chains slide off. okay now what. We’re past five minutes into this fight, nonstop.
SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD TIME FOR GIN TO PAUSE AND APPRECIATE TOSHIRO AGAIN! “I see, I shouldn’t have underestimated you, HItsugaya Toshiro” I’m starting to have a feeling Gin’s VA was told to just wing these lines because the amount of times he fills silences / Gin’s mouth movements with Toshiro’s long-ass name is astounding, he’s definitely drawing blanks here but he sure as hell knows one thing: that damn ice-boy’s name. He continues by saying “I suppose I’ll end up regretting it afterwards.”
Toshiro says that’s not enough, and it’s really dramatic and cool. His eyes even glow all icy and blue and pretty, like his flowy reiatsu. Aesthetic points were gifted entirely to Toshiro’s animations in this scene. Gin was finished in MS Paint and each new scene they had to draw Shinso from memory and try to remember what hue of purple his hair was at gunpoint. Toshiro lets off a big wave of reiatsu and then it vanishes, and he jumps up reaaaally high. like this guy’s flying. his eyes arent glowing anymore that’s sad. Bring Back Glowing Eyes For Strong Shinigami 2k21.
Toshiro releases his Shikai, and it’s badass, the sky darkens, Izuru looks distinctly more worried than usual, and Gin’s frowning with his teeth out like Bugs Bunny’s having a bad day, all is right in the world. Toshiro and his released Shikai have a nice moment for the Pics, and a big epic freeze frame blur moment happens with it all coiled and swirling around him. Wrow!  ( click the ‘wrow’ it’s a link to my exact reaction )  Izuru narrates for the third time about how powerful Toshiro is, his reiatsu, his Zanpakuto being a deity who is only unlocked every few centuries. The strongest ice-type sword. Pardon the pun, but that’s... you could say, so cool.
It can even control the weather. So hey, next time it’s rainy, cold, icy, or snowing and you’re unhappy, it’s time to direct a big fuck you at Toshiro.
Gin dodges the first dragon, and blocks the second with Shinso because blocking water and ice with a sword makes sense right? This actually takes a solid amount of seconds as Gin cuts through the entire length of this ice dragon noodle. Things dissipate, and pause, too, to really drag this out. Surprisingly, this reveals that Gin’s made a boo-boo, his left arm’s frozen, which doesn’t even mean anything because Gin is right-handed, and Toshiro teleports himself behind Gin in true fighty fashion.
We have arrived at seven minutes and just under twenty seconds of this fight, and Gin turns, DOES THE UNTHINKABLE, gasp! He opens his eyes. His red, dull, evil, gray-eyebrowed with purple hair eyes, and shoots Shinso through its hideout spot behind his haori. This nearly takes off Toshiro’s eye and upwards of his head, but the little guy dives down fast. The rest happens in slow motion, supposedly, because it takes an eternity and people talk entire full sentences in its span of time.
Gin asks Toshiro if he’s sure he’d like to dodge that  ( it’s a little late for that ) and says that Momo’ll die if he does. SHINSO SCRAPING ALONG AGAINST HYOURINMARU STRANGELY MAKES NOT A SINGLE SOUND. Mute. Even though before they had no problem animating and adding sounds to them smacking blades earlier. There are soundless sparks though, so there’s that. Yay. Can you tell how exhausted this’s made me? I need a nap.
Shinso is already more than halfway towards Momo, still unconscious, she most definitely has a serious concussion via Toshiro backhanding her midair consider she’s been unconscious for longer than ten minutes. Toshiro has time to get up off the floor where he dropped to dodge, realize with a shocked gasp, turn, shout her name, and watch as Rangiku arrives in a random glow of gold which never happens ever again and blocks the attack with Haineko. Haineko almost cracks on the impact, and continues growing in damage as Rangiku holds Shinso there, implying that she’s stopped it from reaching one-hundred sword’s lengths to pierce Momo. Yes I’m including that implication / note in here because we love to see Rangiku succeeding in life and being Not-Helpless, all while potentially damaging Haineko severely if it wasn’t able to hold him off. Yikes, Gin!
Rangiku threatens to join the fight if he doesn’t withdraw his sword. Gin smiles, withdraws it, and then Shunpos away.
Whatta mess. Oh, and the anime fight was pretty fucked up, too.
This is a long post, but here’s the manga version:
Toshiro leaps into the air,

This is where the fight actually starts between them:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
And end.
Five pages. Two blows. Does not equate to ten minutes of non-stop fighting and monologues. Sometimes, and I mean this in the most unbiased way possible, less is more.

(More danganronpa stuff! I meant to post this like two weeks ago, but school’s been rough. Another Kazuichi/Hajime fic based on something that’s been in my ideas folder for ages: Kazuichi makes Komaeda’s hand, post dr2. Enjoy!)
“I’m only doing this for you.”
Kazuichi glares, hoping it’ll make him look more serious, but Hajime only looks relieved. It hurts to know Hajime had been expecting him to say no, but he can’t blame him, given the circumstances.
“I can’t thank you enough.”
“You’ll owe me one.” This seems to have no effect, so Kazuichi adds, “I’m serious! I should be compensated for going anywhere near that creep.”
Hajime fidgets, hand coming up to fuss with hair that’s no longer there. It’s cut even shorter than it was in the simulation; apparently, he was a little hasty in getting rid of Izuru’s style. It was one of the first things he did when they woke up- Kazuichi remembers watching him, and seeing a bit of himself in the impulsivity.
These days, Hajime looks like he’s always towing the line, wanting to be supportive but afraid to be too defensive. Kazuichi knows he's starting to feel like something of a stranger, seeing their simulated friendships as inferior to the history the rest of them share. Not to mention the guilt at his role in… everything, but that's not exactly exclusive to Hajime.
His expression wavers, before Hajime visibly settles on, “He’s not so bad.”
It’s somehow both an understatement and overstatement- Nagito just is, a person difficult to quantify. Beyond crazy, that is.
Memory is unreliable nowadays, a jumbled mess of school friends, fellow supervillains, and bits of code on a computer simulated island. The lines feel blurred, relief at seeing his close friends alive bleeding into horror at what they’ve done. Their killing game, too, feels fresh. He can’t help but see Nagito’s body when he closes his eyes, or feel the flash of heat from the bomb. The anger, and the sadness, is irrational- which only makes it harder to process.
Kazuichi doesn’t comment on any of that, distracting himself by turning to his work table. It’s newly set up by the Foundation, not quite lived in yet. Not as messy as he likes it.
“I’ll need some measurements, but I can get started.” He grimaces at the thought, having not even considered it when he agreed to this. “You’ll get that, right?”
Hajime smiles, almost laughs at Kazuichi’s expression, but nods. “Yeah, I got it.”
The thought of Hajime holding Nagito’s hand, carefully measuring, crosses his mind and he has to shake his head to clear it. It’s a stupid thing to be jealous of- Nagito is missing a damn hand. Of all the gruesome truths they’ve uncovered, of course there’s one that’ll give Nagito and Hajime an opportunity to hold hands.
Hajime is still hovering in the doorway, something obviously on his mind aside from Nagito. Normally, this is Kazuichi’s place to prompt him, get him to spill whatever it is. As competent as Hajime likes to pretend he is- freaky Izuru powers or otherwise- he’s always been better at getting other people to talk.
It’s different now- they’ve got a lot on their plates, more than some repressed childhood trauma that’s appropriate to share on a beach. He’s drawing up schematics for his friend’s hand, and he’s not sure he can handle anything heavy on top of that.
He turns to Hajime, anyway. If something’s bothering him, it’s better if they can both share that weight. “What’s up? You in the market for more shoddy prosthetics?”
“I don’t think you could make anything shoddy if you tried.” He says it offhandedly, without thinking. The confidence in his voice is enough to make Kazuichi pause, but he’s spared having to react as Hajime continues, “Thank you, really. You’re… a good friend, Kazuichi.”
The unwitting rejection stings, but he raises his hand for a fist bump. “Of course, man. Whatever you need, alright?”
Hajime nods, a mirthless smirk on his face. It’s stretched too thin, like him. Kazuichi doesn’t know if he’s seen him sit down in the last week- always between righting one wrong and another. Chasing down the shadows of a person he never chose to be.
“Don’t know what I’d do without you.”
It’s disproportionately serious, betraying Hajime’s exhaustion. Kazuichi gestures, silently, for him to sit in one of the extra chairs, an excuse and invitation to rest until someone comes to find him. He takes it, grateful, and scoots it to sit right beside Kazuichi.
Their shoulders brush and Hajime doesn’t flinch away.
Kazuichi tries to keep his eyes on the parts, tries not move too much as Hajime leans against him. He tries not to let it mean anything when Hajime starts reaching for tools before he can, passing him exactly what he needs. Certainly doesn’t think about what it means when Hajime starts to doze off- and focuses muttering his response, never mind that Hajime stopped talking an hour ago.
“Without my brilliance? I guess you’d be collectively short of one hand.”
A hand, compared to everything else he’s made, is not a complicated ask. It barely takes a week, and that’s only because he tries to make it perfect. He must spend hours in testing, fine-tuning movement and searching for flaws long after he knows there aren’t any.
Not because he cares or anything- only so he doesn’t have to deal with it again if it breaks.
The procedure to attach it is surprisingly simple; Mikan takes care of it, leaving Kazuichi to wait outside the room. Hajime’s supposed to be here, too, but he’s late- called away for a Foundation summons, which manages to be less appealing than what Kazuichi is doing now.
When it’s done, Mikan leaves, scurrying out with her head ducked down. She doesn’t address Kazuichi, which isn’t particularly abnormal. They’re all dealing with... this in different ways.
Inside, Nagito is sitting in a chair, watching, nearly transfixed, as the hand responds to him, twisting and flexing. Kazuichi is tempted to just leave now- skip this interaction that he’s been dreading for days- but he doesn’t. Weirdo or not, Nagito doesn’t deserve to be walked out on.
He settles in the chair beside Nagito, gesturing to the hand. “I’ve got to show you how to take care of it. Maintenance, or whatever.”
“Ah,” Nagito smiles- a normal smile, by his standards, “I’m honored.”
Good to see coming out of the simulation didn’t fuck him up too much- this is about par for the course. Kazuichi just nods and gets to work, glancing up to make sure Nagito understands what he’s saying, more or less. Nagito still apologizes too much, which becomes an obstacle every time Kazuichi has to correct him. It turns explaining the mechanics of the hand, which parts need adjusting and which need regular replacements, into a grueling process.
He really is an air-head, when you get right down to it. Past all of the hope stuff, past all of the luck, he’s a regular guy. He’s not even so painfully insecure, in his best moments.
It’s almost easy to see why Hajime likes him so much.
At times like this, it feels like it did in school, simple friendships with no despair-laced strings attached. Hajime not being a part of that equation is a strange inconsistency. The thought that he never properly met Hajime- just Hajime, not Izuru or a computer’s impression of him- makes his head hurt.
“It’s good to see you and Hajime are still getting along,” Nagito says, apropos of nothing, “You spent a lot of time together, on the island. I know he enjoys your company.”
He sounds oddly deliberate, not like the steady stream of nonsense that Kazuichi tends to filter out. It cuts through the haze of his half-concentration on the conversation. “Huh? Yeah, I mean, of course.”
Nagito stares at him, dull grey eyes unyielding, before he smiles, again. “This hand was a favor for Hajime, wasn’t it? I’m sure he appreciated that.”
He sounds almost nagging this time, like he’s trying to get at something in particular, but it’s the words that catch Kazuichi’s attention. Kazuichi looks up sharply from where he’d been checking the spare parts, now labeled and boxed up.
“It wasn’t just for Hajime, you know.” Kazuichi rubs the back of his neck, trying not to cringe. “I wouldn’t leave you without a hand.”
“I wasn’t doubting your goodwill.” He waves his hand- the real one- dismissively. “Truly, I look up to you. Your devotion to Hajime-”
“It’s not that,” Kazuichi talks quickly, as Nagito’s face starts to fall, “We’re friends. After everything we’ve been through- you think I wouldn’t help?”
Kazuichi bites his lip, half to keep himself from saying anything else. He’s not a perfect conversationalist, but he never imagined he’d outpace Nagito in making a conversation awkward. He shouldn’t have stuck around. Nagito could’ve figured out how to adjust the grip himself, couldn’t he?
“Oh,” Nagito pauses, genuinely surprised, and stops short of whatever else he was going to say, “in that case, I’m lucky to have such incredible friends.”
The word sounds strange coming from Nagito- too hesitant, like he’s only trying it out. It’s not the first time they’ve called each other friends, but it’s the first time after the world ended; which, even for Nagito, makes a significant difference.
“We’re all here for you. For each other.”
Kazuichi winces, but it has the desired effect of making Nagito smile. Though it doesn’t look like he entirely believes Kazuichi, the expression a little forced, he figures it’s the best they can hope for.
“Right,” Kazuichi stands, abruptly, and makes for the door, “I’d better get going.”
“Wait, Kazuichi-“
He yanks it open before Nagito can finish and finds, standing in the doorway with his hand half-raised to knock, Hajime. He’s got a knowing look on his face, barely concealing a smile.
“Making friends?”
Kazuichi scowls, trying to look as threatening as he can- which is to say, not very. “Not a word.”
Hajime brushes it off easily, switching places with Kazuichi to sit with Nagito. He relaxes when he does, tension disappearing from his shoulders as Nagito waves to him with his new hand, metal creaking softly.
“Sorry I was late. Makoto is finalizing some of the details and- it doesn’t matter. How are you feeling?”
“I’m great.” Nagito looks like he means it, lighting up at the sight of Hajime. “Kazuichi’s been great company. I see why you like him so much.”
Kazuichi steps back, getting the impression he’s no longer a part of this conversation. He keeps his head down and pretends not to notice as Hajime laughs at something Nagito says- too quiet to hear from the doorway. Hajime looks up as he leaves, but Kazuichi only gives a brief wave, leaving them to their own devices.
It feels vaguely like being left behind, even if he’s the one walking out.
It’s a few days later, on the beach, when he dares see either of them again.
He refuses to admit that he’s avoiding anyone- he only happens to not run into them. It just so happens that he spends the majority of his days locked in his lab, with a Do Not Disturb sign up, listening to the sound of disappointed footsteps approaching, pausing, and leaving.
And, just once, the click of Nagito’s heeled shoes and an extended moment of hesitation- the shadow remaining at his door for a minute, at least- before it, too, leaves.
It’s not jealously. It’s just... weird, being around people he calls friend. Even after all this time, he feels like he can’t quite get it right.
Especially with Hajime. For multiple reasons.
He’s here now, despite that, because if he doesn’t leave the lab, he thinks Hajime might send in rescue parties after him. It should be embarrassing that he’s partially hidden behind a palm tree, creepily watching Hajime and Nagito from a distance, but it’s not the weirdest thing he’s done, even excluding his time corrupted by despair- hell, even excluding all of their time in the killing game.
Kazuichi smiles softly as he watches them, Hajime’s grin bright and Nagito looking less miserable than usual. The shadows they all carry dissipate in the steady sunlight, the rock of waves suspending them in a limbo on this island, far from where the rest of the world can reach them.
Nagito says something Kazuichi doesn’t catch that makes Hajime frown, and he waves his hand- the new, metal one- in Hajime’s face, clearly teasing. “I know you do.”
“Nagito,” Hajime is laughing as he tries to catch Nagito’s hand, “Nagito, come on.”
“I wouldn’t say I’m an expert, but,” Nagito lowers his voice, so Kazuichi has to take a few steps closer to hear him, “subtlety isn’t one of your many talents.”
Hajime opens his mouth, like he’s going to argue, just as Kazuichi steps forward, intentionally scuffing his shoe against a rock- feeling, for the first time, guilty for eavesdropping. At his footsteps, Hajime whips around, something suspiciously like a blush on his face.
Hajime glares at Nagito, who pays him no mind in favor of greeting Kazuichi, cheerfully, with, “What great luck. Hajime was just looking for you.”
The beanie, a few minutes ago, had felt silly while on the beach, under the constant sun. Now, he’s grateful to have something to fidget with. He pulls it lower, as if that’ll hide him.
“You always know where to find me.”
Hajime raises his eyebrows, glancing once at Nagito- who, judging from his shrug, isn’t much help. “I wasn’t sure you wanted visitors.”
“I never mind seeing you.” It’s as if flashing neon signs reading AWKWARD blind him for a moment as he backpedals, “Uh, whenever you want to hang out, man. Never too busy for you.”
“We should,” Hajime interrupts, before Kazuichi can spiral deeper. “Hang out, I mean. Just me and you. If you have time.”
Kazuichi looks over to Nagito- or, the empty spot where Nagito was. There’s a footprint in the sand and, in the distance, he spots the flash of a coat as Nagito trips over rocks on his way to beat a hasty retreat. It’s hard to tell whether Nagito has been taking lessons from Peko, or if Kazuichi’s skills in observation are worse than he thought. He’s not sure whether he wants to thank him or curse him for leaving them- maybe he’ll decide based on how much a disaster this ends up being.
Hajime is watching him expectantly, not as surprised by Nagito’s escape act.
“Not a lot going on right now. Besides, you know, the apocalypse.”  It’s hard not to be nervous, even if Kazuichi can’t pinpoint exactly why. He can feel a tangent coming on, forces himself to stop before he says something he’ll regret. “I’ve got nothing but time.”
Hajime shuffles a step closer and looks down, not meeting Kazuichi’s eyes. “I’ve missed you. I know that’s stupid, since we’re both on the same island, but-“
“I know what you mean,” he says, quietly, cutting him a break, “I think.” He hopes he knows what he means- hopes it means what it means to him.
Hajime looks up, mismatched eyes studying him. It’s not as disconcerting as he imagined it might be.
After a moment, Hajime glances away again, breaking eye contact. “Do you want to go now? There’s food in the kitchen. It’s nothing glamorous, but,” he shakes his head, smile a little sheepish, “I guess I’m not very good at this, even now.”
He’s clearly doing something right, but if Kazuichi could figure that out, he would have a lot easier time responding. He’d probably even say something more eloquent than, “Sounds great! Lead the way?”
It doesn’t make a difference. Hajime looks delighted, like Kazuichi had said anything else. It’s a warm feeling, to see Hajime smile even when he’s barely done anything to deserve it.
Hesitating just a step, Hajime turns back to Kazuichi and holds his hand out, offering an unsure smile and no words to the silent gesture. Kazuichi takes it before he can change his mind and lets himself be pulled along, nothing on his mind but this moment, the sun, the waves and Hajime.
They can make something new here- hands and hope and a life no longer broken into half-remembered pieces. It’s a new start, after the world and their lives have been burned away a few times over. A second or third chance. Best to stop counting, at this point.
It’s only fitting that they begin again on a beach. This time, he’ll be aiming a little higher than “soul friends”.

Title: Out of my mind Relationship(s): Kamukura Izuru/Naegi Makoto Rating: Teen Summary:  Naegi goes to confront Kamukura Izuru, based off their scene in dr3. For Kamuegi week Day 5: Scars/Future Foundation Trigger Warnings: Medical Trauma, Medical Abuse, Broken Bones, Dr0 References/Spoilers, PTSD
[Ao3 Link]
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Future Foundation were kind enough to disclose all information that led to the Tragedy of Hope's Peak to its survivors. Naegi read through the files of the Hope Cultivation Project, the project that was being funded by the school's reserve course. The same event that led to its downfall.
It was utterly petrifying to him.
The fact that a talentless student would volunteer himself for such brutal experiments was unfathomable. He saw the logs of Hinata Hajime's descent into inhumanity, becoming a creature nobody could ever hope to perceive as a regular person.
There were 3 surgeries in total, all additional operations were performed through electrical stimulus or injections of medication. The first one was a whole two days after Hinata had signed that contract, the aforementioned contract that had disappeared from the Biology building before it could have been recovered. Which was unfortunate, but they were already so lucky to have been able to obtain the Project's logs that nobody really cared about what had been lost.
The first surgery was the one that scared Naegi the most. The severing of the connections between the prefrontal cortex and parts of the frontal lobe from the rest of the brain. Kirigiri had explained this to him simply, "They performed a leucotomy. You know what that is, right? A lobotomy?"
They'd learnt about it in highschool, surprisingly their years of education were the memories most easily recovered. Naegi never really paid attention to lessons in psychology. Perhaps he should have, as a knowledge in brain ablation somehow ended up being something he actually did need later on in life.
The fact remained that this was the first step in inducing Kamukura's apathetic outlook towards life. This was where the despair began, the despair he wanted to reverse. But how can someone reverse the effects of permanent brain damage? It's impossible, right?
Things seemed to only get worse the more he read. The thing Naegi hated most was how positive the post surgery notes were, as if what occurred was a miracle.
The subject is responding well, his aggression has reduced and he has become more passive towards his doctors. The subject's anxiety seems to have been quelled and he has been dissociative and nonverbal. Fortunately, he is still able to use his vocal cords and form words, as evidenced by his reaction to pain stimulus.
He could only gag. The school Naegi admired so deeply was willing to do this to a human being? He couldn't force himself to imagine the student identification photo of Hinata bearing those same lifeless eyes of Kamukura.
It was all so so fucked up. Enough to make him groan and slam his head down onto the desk, as if giving himself brain damage would fix Hinata's.
Naegi recalled Munakata placing a hand on his shoulder, interrupting the break he was taking from cross-examining the files. He had jumped on instinct from the sudden contact. Flushing in embarrassment at the fact someone has seen him act so childishly.
Munakata hadn't seemed phased. He just looked over at the papers scattered on the desk, skimming, scanning. He spoke up in his rather gruff voice.
"They wanted you to read up on the destroyer of Hope’s Peak, right?"
"Uh, yeah…" Sheepishly, Naegi nodded. "This guy had to be awfully messed up to volunteer for something like this."
With a loud click of his tongue, Munakata removed his hand from the boy's shoulder. He backed himself up to the table in which Naegi had been reading at, before lifting himself and sitting on the table. "No person would volunteer for this. He was manipulated by Hope's Peak and allowed despair to swallow him whole."
Naegi sat up in response, awaiting elaboration from the Council President.
"Hope's Peak obviously omitted the full details of what would happen to Hinata Hajime when he signed the contract." Crossing his arms over his chest, Munakata met Naegi's intense gaze with a sigh, sounding almost mad that Naegi couldn't read his thoughts. "Of course, most of the Future Foundation doesn't want you to think that. Hope's Peak academy was never the shining beacon of hope it pretended to be, it's platitudes were just worthless lies told to deceive."
"That's terrible!" Naegi cried, slamming one hand down on the table for emphasis. "Though, now that I think about it it makes a lot of sense that Hinata didn't know everything. But he still orchestrated the first Killing game, right? Why would he have done that?"
"Actually Kamukura Izuru was framed by Enoshima Junko." Munakata sighed in a pompous manner that reminded him all too much of Togami. "Unfortunately, he woefully succumbed to despair, though it was indeed Enoshima who led him down that path. The sheer amount of murder he did go on to later commit proves that in reality he isn't redeemable."
"Framed…? So it wasnt Kamukura who orchestrated the first killing game?"
"Of course not!" The older man hissed. "Do you seriously just believe anything anyone tells you?"
Naegi's breathing hitched in fear as the other slammed his hand down onto the desk with much more intensity than Naegi had earlier. "N-no… I'm sorry…"
Munakata slid back off the table, causing it to groan beneath his weight. "You should be more careful, Naegi Makoto. It's purely luck that that blind trust hasn't gotten you killed yet."
Next thing he knew Munakata was gone with a loud slam of a door. God that guy was hot-headed.
But he was wrong, about Kamukura, that is.
For some reason that experience was all Naegi could think about as he looked at Kamukura's back. Stiff shoulders hidden beneath the black fabric of his uniform, dark hair billowing in the wind. He created such an eerie silhouette against the golden sunset in the background, beautiful, yet filling the other with a sense of trepidation and fear.
The man Naegi had spent the whole day searching for, of course he was in the last place he looked. He could almost sigh at how awful his luck could be sometimes. His feet ached from searching all around Hope's Peak, between all the different labs and even that freaky hidden room beneath the statue of the founder.
"Naegi Makoto. The Super High School Level Hope, also known as the former Super High School Level Good Luck." A monotone voice that sounded too close and too far away all at the same time suddenly broke the silence. "You've come on orders to kill me."
All that trepidation was causing Naegi's hands to shake from how tightly wound up he was. The sound of someone else's voice made him flinch. "H-huh?! You know?"
"Of course I do." Kamukura spoke again, now tilting his head to the side to glance back at Naegi. "It's not that I'm omniscient, I just bear the talent of the Super High School Level Analyst."
It was strange to have his mind read before he even got the thought completely through. Naegi squashed that feeling down, opting to focus on the task at hand.
He cleared his throat, attempting to still his nerves. "If you knew this, why aren't you running?"
"Hm?" Kamukura turned himself around, now offering his complete attention to Naegi.
Naegi shivered under those piercing crimson eyes, they bore an even brighter colour than that of Ishimaru or Celeste's eyes. They seemed to target him and lock on like a rifle, loaded and ready to fire at a moment's notice.
"Do you honestly believe that you can kill me?"
The breath seemingly disappeared from Naegi's lungs. He drew his hand over his mouth to muffle the faint whimper that escaped his lips. Kamukura's aura was overwhelming, an aura of pure superiority and death.
This whole situation reminded Naegi of his own execution. The pure despair coursing through his veins. The way Monokuma grinned at him. The loud pounding of the press behind him that shook his body from head to toe.
Ah, that was the sound of his own heart beating uncontrollably.
"My presence is bringing back unfortunate memories for you. I apologise, I am aware that you are not here to actually kill me." As if sensing Naegi's fear, Kamukura spoke slowly and clearly.
The other boy nodded slowly, refusing to take the hand from his mouth as stinging tears threatened to spill from the corners of his eyes. His blood was rushing in his ears, drowning out all sense, overwhelming him with the pure power that was Kamukura.
Kamukura stepped towards him, a move that startled Naegi more than it probably should have. He stepped backwards in turn, but quickly set his foot down on a small and unstable piece of rubble. Instead of Naegi launching off to run, his ankle rolled at an unnatural angle.
Naegi yelped as he fell forward, his forehead barely grazing the dirtied ground. He quickly rolled over, desperately shuffling backwards and away from the older man whilst attempting not to hurt himself any further.
"Hey, listen to me! Calm down."
His body froze completely upon hearing the command. Kamukura touched his own lips in thought, a little confusion at his sudden break in character. He briefly pondered if his past emotions were through from standing in the classroom of 77-B.
But he deemed the thought unnecessary, for now, instead focusing back on the boy in front of him. "You're here to offer a compromise, are you not?"
Naegi sucked in a quick breath, grateful for the reminder of what he was actually here for. Unfortunately the pain from his ankle was really beginning to set in, he needed to make this brief. Nodding quickly, he attempted to regain his composure. "Yes. I know I couldn't kill you even if I wanted to. But I don't, you deserve a chance at redemption."
"I cannot be redeemed. I was created to be a tool, I have no free will and only act on the orders of others." Kamukura spoke bluntly, tilting his chin up a little. "Your redemption means nothing to me."
Naegi paused. He was expecting this kind of answer, the kind Togami gave him when Naegi said he forgave him for his actions in the killing game.
"Huh? I don't want your forgiveness. My actions are always justified." He had said. The memory brought a little smile to his face.
"Okay then." Tilting his head up, Naegi showed that smile off to Kamukura, as if showing him a sign of peace. "Would you like to know more about Hinata Hajime?"
"The previous inhabitant of this vessel? Why do you believe he would mean anything to me?" It was phrased less like a question, and more like an expression of confusion. As if Kamukura didn't really care about the answer, that he already knew the answer, he just didn't quite understand why Naegi Makoto, of all people, would have any interest.
"Because you're here." Raising his right arm, Naegi gestured vaguely around the room, before wincing and putting it back down. "Why would you come to a classroom full of students you didn't know to replace the flowers for Nanami Chiaki? The girl who was Hinata's best friend, the girl you murdered."
Kamukura's brow furrowed. He began to move in large calculated strides, right up to where Naegi sat, before leaning over him in a display of authority. "So you are smarter than you seem."
It was difficult to tell if it was Kamukura or Naegi who had let down their guard, perhaps a mix of both. But a small detail like that didn't bother Naegi, as his smile only widened beneath Kamukura's attempt of showing power. He had him, that much was obvious.
"Well, Kamukura-kun? Why are you here?"
Kamukura pursed his lips for a moment, thinking to himself for a second, before answering the question. "Because being here makes me feel despair."
He curled his fingers into fists and glanced away briefly, sighing as he realised he would have to answer the inevitable question. "There are a few places in this world where I feel emotions. The classroom of 77-B, the Reserve Course building, and the third floor of the biology building."
"The third floor of the biology building?" As he thought to himself, Naegi unconsciously brought his hand to his chin. "That's oddly specific."
"The neuroscience institute." Kamukura elaborated.
"Oh…" Naegi moved his hand up to his mouth again, feeling a mix of sympathy and horror.
Of course he would feel despair there. After all, that's where Kamukura would have been made, where he would have been tortured and experimented on. Had his brain destroyed and enhanced over and over to produce the perfect hope.
Where Hinata Hajime… died.
"It's an odd feeling, emotions. The emotions I experience from being in these places are perhaps the only reason I'm still here. That and the fact I have nowhere to go, no purpose left in a world without Enoshima." Kamukura began to mumble somewhat as he rambled on.
Jeez, at least let Hinata rest in peace.
Naegi bit back the thought, shaking his head and reminding himself of what he was really here for. "Come with me then. If you want to experience more emotions, then I can show you the Neo World Program."
There was a slow blink as Kamukura processed the offer. "The Neo World Program?"
"Yeah! We put it together using research from the Super High School Level programmer, therapist, and neurologist." Naegi grinned excitedly as if he was talking about how proud he was of his own child. "It's a simulation that allows people to live out peaceful days filled with hope."
Kamukura blinked again. "The Super High School Level Neurologist, Matsuda Yasuke?"
"Yes?"
Those crimson eyes narrowed to near slits. "The childhood best friend and love of Enoshima Junko?"
"...yes?"
"Who developed the method that was used to wipe your highschool memories prior to the Killing Game?"
For a moment Naegi paused, unsure of how to answer that one. "I…guess so?"
Crouching down onto his haunches, Kamukura leaned in even closer to Naegi. "So you are using memory erasing technology then?"
Naegi leaned back a little, uncomfortable as Kamukura's hair brushed against his face. "...Yes."
"And, assuming you're placing all of Enoshima's protégé's in this program, you'll have about 15 students?"
"Yes, if we manage to convince them all..." Naegi's a voice dropped a little, finding himself suddenly a little more insecure about his plan. "I don't mean to interrupt but… where are you going with this?"
Kamukura was almost shocked at how naive Naegi was, especially considering he had been the one to end Enoshima. Or was he just stupid? "I'm merely baffled that you would sacrifice your own health for the sake of people you don't know. People who are murderers."
It wasn't a complete lie, most people would not have such considerations for criminals, people who had committed crimes as heinous as the ones the remnants had committed.
Naegi noted the lack of emotion in his voice. "You don't sound baffled…"
Ignoring his comment, Kamukura nodded. "I'll participate. I'll make sure the others do too."
"Wait, you will?!" Whilst sitting up a little too excitedly, Naegi put pressure on his ankle, sending pain shooting up his leg. He winced and laid back again.
"Don't do that. Your ankle is broken." Letting out a bored sigh, Kamukura straightened himself back up.
"B-broken?!" Naegi's eyes widened to near saucers in shock. "I thought I just twisted it… Am I seriously that unlucky?"
Kamukura began unbuttoning his black uniform jacket, earning a strange look from the other as he slid it off his shoulders. He then proceeded to fold it in half and kneel back down next to Naegi's broken ankle.
The other boy watched in awe as he tied it tightly, using it as a makeshift splint to prevent Naegi's ankle from moving too much. "Y-you're too kind Kamukura-kun… much more so than I anticipated."
"I'm doing this purely out of necessity. Nothing more." Kamukura muttered as he tightened the knot, causing Naegi to hiss in pain. He then proceeded to slide his left arm under the boy's knees and right arm under his back, nestling snugly at the base of his spine.
"Wait wait wait wait wait what are you-?"
Kamukura lifted Naegi up, causing him to wrap his arms tightly around Kamukura's neck in alarm. "Y-you're carrying me?!"
"It's not as though you can walk." Kamukura sighed exasperatedly. He was having no issues with Naegi's weight, his panicked yelling, however…
"B-but I'm heavy…" Naegi refuted, loosening his grip a little when he realised Kamukura wasn't going to hurt him.
"You weigh less than most girls, in accordance with your height." Kamukura spoke bluntly, scanning his eyes over Naegi's form.
"H-Hey!!"
"You're easily flustered."
"Don't tease me!" with the heat rising in his cheeks, Naegi buried his face into Kamukura's chest in hopes of hiding his embarrassment. "I get enough of that from Togami-kun!"
Kamukura shuffled Naegi in order to give himself a more stable hold before walking out of the classroom. Naegi grumbled into Kamukura's chest, pulling himself even closer.
"You're also easily placated. I do not understand how you've managed to survive thus far." Kamukura muttered, seemingly more to himself than Naegi.
"You're not the first one to say that to me." Naegi whispered, voice muffled by Kamukura's shirt.
As tempted as Kamukura felt to further tease Naegi, he decided against upsetting the boy any more than he already had. An emotional fallout would be annoying.
They walked in silence for a few more minutes as Kamukura traversed the stairs of the building, holding Naegi tightly in order to keep him safe.
It was near impossible to speak up over the overwhelming presence of the other, so Naegi remained still and quiet. Kamukura, however, was unafraid of breaking that silence, and suddenly piped up with a question.
"Would the Neo World Program allow me to become somebody else?"
"U-uh...I don't see why not? It might affect the results, however." Mumbling in thought, Naegi tilted his head up to look at Kamukura. "Do you wish to become a different person, Kamukura-kun?"
"Well, I'm assuming you'll try to reverse the despair by reverting us to our pre-despair selves. However, I do not have a pre-despair self." Kamukura dug his fingers slightly into Naegi's shoulder, not hard enough to hurt, but enough for Naegi to see he was distressed. "Well, except for… him."
Naegi pressed his lips together, trying his best not to be too creeped out by Kamukura's ability to predict exactly what was going to happen. "Well, that is what we planned to do. But I thought you were turned to despair by Enoshima?"
"I was turned to spreading despair by Enoshima. However, from the moment I was created, I have been despair. There is no joy in an existence so boring." Musing to himself, Kamukura closed his eyes for a moment, still walking perfectly straight as he did so. "When a human is an expert at everything, there is nothing left to do, no goals left to accomplish. I can predict anything and everything just as it is going to happen. Nothing surprises me, nothing brings me joy. I no longer have the ability to feel human emotions."
"I see, that makes sense… even though it is really sad." Pressing his head closer to Kamukura's chest, Naegi pondered how it must feel to live such a life. He was finding himself rather upset by the prospect.
Even if Kamukura didn't feel any human emotions, and his strength was beyond human, Naegi could hear his heart beating softly in his chest. There was no doubt about the fact he was human beneath that cold exterior.
"You pity me?" Kamukura's tone was rather confused, even curious.
No matter how much he thought about it, Naegi couldn't understand why exactly that warranted such confusion. "I… guess?"
"Even though I bear every talent known to man?"
Naegi shrugged. "It's lonely at the top."
Looking away, Kamukura took a moment to turn the phrase over in his mind. "You're quite intriguing, Naegi Makoto. Taking pity on terrorists and murderers. I wonder, what exactly led you down this treacherous path?"
"H-huh? It's just common human decency…" As he stammered away, Naegi found himself fiddling with his hands against Kamukura's back. "You guys were normal teenagers once, it's not fair that you have to die just because your lives also got ruined by Enoshima."
"Many innocent people have died at both our hands and Enoshima's." It confused Naegi how Kamukura could confess such a thing so casually, so stone-faced. "It is only just that we pay for our crimes."
"That's why it should end here!" Naegi said that a little too loudly, too passionately. He adjusted his tone to be a bit more quiet. "A-And you guys should be allowed to have normal lives too."
Kamukura merely stared blankly ahead, lost in thought. "…You really are just like your sister."
Naegi suddenly gripped the fabric of Kamukura's blazer tightly, pulling himself up a little. "You've met Komaru?!"
"No." The words were curt. "Stop moving."
Naegi was confused enough by the response to decide it was best to stop talking. It seemed his weariness from being on his feet all day was starting to catch up with him, and the warmth from Kamukura's body wasn't helping his situation whatsoever. He allowed his eyelids to rest, relaxing to the tune of Kamukura's heartbeat against his ear and the rock of his movements.
Kamukura found himself most unimpressed by this new burden. This boy had the audacity to not only break his ankle, but was now steadily shifting into REM sleep in his arms. The worst part was that ridiculously soft expression he was making, blushing slightly even in his sleep.
As Naegi mumbled sleepily, he relaxed his arms, opting to move them away from the other's neck and instead have them wrapped around his torso. Kamukura could rouse the boy, but he wouldn't dare.
"Napping in the middle of the apocalypse in the arms of a terrorist?" Kamukura whispered to himself. "You truly are strange, Naegi Makoto."

Prompt: Cry Into Chest taken from here.
Rating: T
Warnings: Violence and language.
Notes: Vent-y... But I tried!!! I’m sorry it took so long! It’s a bit experimental, too, and I hope that turned out okay.

It goes like this. Once there was a boy who lost his mother completely, after months and years of steady deterioration. One might think her inevitable death had been a relief. A merciful end to that strain of rotting misery, twisting and warping and killing his mother psychologically until she was unrecognizable. He still ended up crying into the shoulder of the worst person on the planet.
And as she stroked his hair and wiped away his tears, cooing sweet words of comfort in that gross, despicable voice of her—he had wanted to promise that, no matter what, he’ll protect her.
Hilarious, right? A fucking riot, right?
Well, not as much of a riot as the ones she started, but... Fuck. He really had been that fucking stupid and desperate from the start. In his defense, he never cried in front of another person ever again. He was pretty content to never feeling anything again after she tried to kill him.
He was extra, extra content to not feel after she died.
And yet, and yet, and yet, and yet.
Back up. There was something important that had been forgotten. Well, there had been many things forgotten. Lost in that bitch’s shadow, or blotted out by her overbearing and blinding radiance. Either way, one of those things was a certain person. Particular out of a sea of particulars—even to the point of drawing the headmaster’s attention.
Yeah, Komaeda Nagito. The Ultimate Lucky. Literally the only case one could make for luck even existing in the first place, much less applicable as a talent. Not that Komaeda had control over his cosmic luck. God forbid that. He still doesn’t want to think about what Kamukura Izuru was capable of with his luck.
He digresses. This isn’t about Kamukura Izuru, right now. It’s about Komaeda. Komaeda Nagito. Ultimate Luck. Ultimate Hope Fanboy. Lanky, angular, pale, and riddled with disease, including frontotemporal dementia, which landed him squarely in Matsuda’s lap.
He’s not the kind of person who sees his mother in every single dementia patient. He’s not that creepy and pathetic. But, there was something about Komaeda’s personality in particular.
Komaeda Nagito was—a huge pain in the ass. Obsessive, manic, erratic, fickle, aggravating, temperamental, short-sighted, narrow-minded, stubborn, naïve, unstable, volatile, childish, elitist, and just overall, what one would call a piece of shit. He was also exceptionally cheerful, with a carefree air about to mask his million and a half anxieties. Well... To mask is probably inaccurate.
Komaeda Nagito might have just been a dim-witted, total fucking ditz. A ditz with dementia, at that. Which hit a little too close to home. Thank fucking god that the guy’s hair had already turned white because apparently, he had been a red head in youth and that would’ve just been the end of Matsuda Yasuke’s life. Just. Done. Thank you. Good-fucking-bye.
Alas, his life did not prematurely end, either incidentally thanks to a certain lucky dipshit or intentionally thanks to the worst fucking person on the planet. Should he be thankful? Fuck, no. Bitch, he did not ask to live past the ripe old age of twenty. But sometimes, life finds a way.
Well.
Kamukura Izuru found a way.
This still isn’t about him.
And not because Matsuda Yasuke never wants to think about him again. Promise. Promise.
Fuck.
He doesn’t even know what that freak is up to anymore, and thinking about him causes headaches that hurt like hell a thousand times over, so he just—doesn’t. He doesn’t think. He doesn’t feel. He doesn’t really do anything. Hasn’t been doing anything for a while, now. Turns out it’s hard to be active when the world is literally in shambles. Turns out depression gets real fucking nasty when everything is tumultuous and chaotic, especially outside. Funny how living starts to look more and more meaningless when people are just dying. One after another. All for the stupid fucking concept known as despair. Really—all because Junko told them to. And people are dumb. People are easy. People suck.
She’s dead now. Junko is. That sure happened.
It happened and now, everything is truly in a chaotic state. People are going haywire, with the Future Foundation even more in a rush to gain control, but with their manic fucking leader keen on stamping out every last bit of despair. Hopefully, they’re still focused on rescuing people. Many hostages had been taken after all.
Matsuda wonders about them. He probably should wonder about himself because in addition to being a dead man walking, he has more of a target on his back than usual. Fan-fucking-tastic. If only he cared. If only he had the energy to care. Somehow, along the road, he lost that after crying into the shoulder of a girl who only ever cared about destroying everything, including herself.
Isn’t that a shame.
Isn’t that unfortunate.
Komaeda Nagito sure thinks so. Even now, Komaeda Nagito tells him he thinks so. Clearly and repeatedly, as if depression made a guy deaf. With Junko gone, the idiot’s gotten super anxious and on edge, fiddling with a gloved hand and fidgeting. There’s other stuff to do, other stuff he’s planned for sure.
“Matsuda-kun...?”
But he’s still here, bothering Matsuda. Because Matsuda’s just that fucking lucky of a guy to have someone who cares so much.
“Matsuda-kun?”
Fucking pest. Not that Komaeda Nagito knows any better. Not that it’s unjustified, either, since Matsuda feels like everything is crashing down all around him. There’s not even a damn reason for it. His brain just decided to start feeling like shit because he’s that much of a self-destructive piece of shit. Of fucking course he was. He devoted himself to fucking Junko and for what? Just because she let him cry on her and never used it against him despite manipulating everything and everyone else?
What a joke. What a fucking joke.
“Ah. Alright.”
Even more of a fucking joke is Komaeda Nagito pulling him close. Komaeda Nagito patting his head. It’s so patronizing and cruel. It’s so infuriating that Matsuda’s shaking, squeezing his eyes shut as they stung, stung, stung.
Everything’s all wrong. It’s been all wrong, and it’s going to stay all wrong. There’s no fixing a world this fucking broken, and Matsuda knows it’s only a matter of time before he’s buried in the rubbish. It’s the only fate he really deserves, for all his stupid hard work and even fucking stupider ambitions. But, even if he knows this...
He still wants to be held like he had been back then.
And if Komaeda Nagito’s going to idiotically indulge him, Matsuda supposes the least he can do is not let go of him. Like anyone expected this to go any other way.

Are you still accepting prompts for Renji's birthday? Would you be willing to write some sort of shenanigans involving him and Izuru and/or Shuuhei?
So, I tried to write something about Renji and Shuuhei helping Izuru move when he gets promoted to Vice-Captain, and it didn’t come out quite as shenanigan-y as I had intended. I have so many feels about Izuru-at-the-Fourth... I feel like it was such a good, healing place for him, except that Izuru feels the needs to put himself on the front lines, which is why I don’t think he could stay there indefinitely. Anyway, the first half of this is tragic foreshadowing and then it just devolves into horny wlw-mlm solidarity. Which seems pretty par for the course when it comes to Izuru stories. I hope you like it!
💪   💪   💪
“You are going to be a wonderful vice-captain,” Isane assured him. “Captain Ichimaru will be lucky to have you.”
“But remember,” Captain Unohana broke in, “you serve him, but you serve your squad as well. It takes many kinds of strength to be an assistant captain.”
“I’ve had a good role model, at least,” Izuru replied mildly, and Isane blushed.
It was true, actually. Isane often seemed nervous and indecisive, but in triage situations, she was all steel nerves and quick decisions. It’s like her brain was always stuck in emergency mode, and tended to give off sparks when it wasn’t bearing enough load. Izuru knew a lot about brains that didn’t work right all the time, and before he worked under Isane, he had worried a lot that maybe he wasn’t cut out for command. But Isane was kind and patient and gentle, and it would have been a great loss to Squad 4 if she hadn’t the confidence to take the post. That’s what Captain Unohana had told Izuru when he asked her whether or not he should take the lieutenant’s exam himself.
He was going to miss Captain Unohana a lot. The Fourth might be looked down on by other squads as mere support workers, but Captain Unohana was the strongest person Izuru had ever met, and she loved and cared for every person who worked under her. She had high expectations, but the Fourth was also a place to be yourself. If you had goals you wanted to reach, the captain was always the first one at your side to support you.
Izuru wondered if the Third was like that. He had a bit of trouble getting a bead on Captain Ichimaru, but the man had been Captain Aizen’s lieutenant, so he must be a good person deep down. Captain Aizen always wanted the best for his subordinates, too. Izuru wished his anxiety hadn’t made it so hard to accept that. But maybe that was a role he could play at the Third. Maybe the lessons of his own insecurities could help him make it a place where anyone could succeed.
“You’re moving this afternoon?” Unohana was asking him. “Do you have help lined up?”
Izuru waved a hand. “Oh, it’s only one division over, and I don’t have much. Everything is packed.” Momo had come over to help with that, but she was busy with her own move and Izuru didn’t want to impose on her more than he already had.
“Oh, Izuru,” Isane gasped “I have appointments this afternoon, but I could see if Iemura or Ogidou are available!”
“Mmm, it looks like that may not be necessary,” Captain Unohana said mildly as they rounded the corner toward the barracks.
Biceps. That was the first thing that popped into Izuru’s head. Lots of biceps. Tons of biceps. Pantsloads of biceps, which were attached to a possibly even greater quantity of well-toned deltoids.
“Yo!” Hisagi Shuuhei greeted him with a wave, as if Izuru had somehow managed to miss him and his magnificently tanned arms.
Next to him, Abarai Renji, no slouch in the arm department either, gave a little salute.
Both of them were wearing sunglasses. Neither of them were wearing sleeves.
“Oh my,” Isane managed.
“Indeed,” Captain Unohana agreed.
“What are you two doing here?” Izuru demanded.
“Momo said you were moving today and you were too stubborn to ask for help,” Shuuhei announced.
Abarai moved in a way that might have been a stretch, but looked a lot like he was flexing. Scratch that, he was just flexing. Izuru had to resist the urge to claw at his own face.
“That was so thoughtful of you, Lieutenant Hisagi, Sixth Seat Abarai!” Captain Unohana declared in a way that assured that Izuru would accept their help and like it. “I am sure it will go very quickly with the three of you working together.”
“I am very good at picking up heavy objects, Captain Unohana, ma’am,” Abarai assured her, with a barely acceptable bow.
“And I’m very good at pointing out heavy things for him to pick up,” Hisagi added. Both Isane and Izuru turned scarlet.
“Goodness, Izuru, you’ll hardly have anything to do, aside from sit back and watch,” Captain Unohano observed pleasantly.
Izuru died. If his spirit were in a body, it would have departed. As it were, he just stood there, feeling his spirit particles dissipate into reishi.
“You’re embarrassing him,” Isane hissed.
“Oh, am I?” Captain Unohana asked innocently. “We should be on our way then, and let Izuru and his friends get on with it.”
It was very fortunate that Izuru had already discorporated and was unable to hear any of that.
“Good luck, gentlemen! Don’t be a stranger, Izuru!”
“No, ma’am,”Izuru’s ghost managed to say. “Thank you for everything, ma’am.”
The captain and vice-captain of the Fourth departed. Izuru could just barely catch Unohana asking Isane why she didn’t own any sleeveless shihakushou.
“What the fuck, you assholes?!?” Izuru snapped at them as soon as the women were out of earshot.
“I told you he’d be mad,” Renji told Shuuhei, as though Izuru weren’t actually present.
“He’ll forgive us once he tries to carry a load of boxes over to the Third and remembers about his noodle arms.”
“You could have told me you were going to show up!” Izuru griped. “How long have you two been hanging around?”
“If we told you, you woulda told us not to come,” Shuuhei shrugged.
“Or worse, tried to finish your entire move before we got here,” Renji pointed out. “Do you have any boxes of breakable things? I love carrying breakable things around.”
“How did you even know I was moving today?” Izuru ignored him.
“Momo,” they chorused.
Oh. Of course.
“So you see our problem,” Shuuhei pointed out. “If we don’t help you, Momo will murder us. Real rock and a hard place situation.”
“More like a rock and a piece of wet cardboard situation,” Renji added frankly. “I am definitely more afraid of Momo than you.”
“Go to hell, Abarai!”
Abarai flexed again. “If I go to hell, who’s gonna move the 800 pounds of poetry books you own? Shuuhei looks good, but he’s hardly got any stamina.” Izuru glared at him stonily, to prove that he was unmoved by Abarai’s antics and also because Abarai’s delts were extremely nice to look at.
“He’s not wrong,” Shuuhei admitted.
“Also, do not flex in front of my captain.”
“She likes it.”
“She’s a lesbian, Abarai.”
“Lesbians love really ripped upper arms. It’s a known fact.”
“Who doesn’t, really?” Shuuhei put in.
“Good point!”
Izuru sighed heavily and unlocked his door. “If I can’t get rid of you dolts, let’s at least get this over with.”
“Yeah, I’m really looking forward to the part afterward where you buy us drinks,” Shuuhei added brightly.
Izuru groaned, because if he didn’t, it might be too evident how full his heart felt right now. These morons. These goons.
“Oh, we brought you something,” Abarai added, rummaging around in his kosode and coming up with a pair of sunglasses. “So you can be part of the cool guy squad.”
“Should I rip the sleeves off my kosode, also?” Izuru asked, taking them with a grin.
“No,” Abarai and Hisagi replied in unison.

if anyone wants to see that snippet I wrote last night for a project I’m currently calling “Shuichi Saihara and the Ghost of Hope’s Peak” here ya go, I’m gonna go try to focus on my current wips for now but I would kinda like to neaten this up and continue it
“So, have you guys seen the ghost yet?”
It was a question going around campus, spreading like a virus. Everyone was talking about the ghost, the strange figure seen in the windows of empty classrooms, out of the corner of your eye, lurking on the grounds after dark.
“Fuck off, the ghost isn’t really,” one student laughed, pushing his friend.
“It totally is! People have been seeing her for years!” his friend insisted. “I heard she’s a reserve course student who committed suicide.”
“You’re wrong, she’s a teacher who died in that fire.”
“I thought she was the Ultimate Psychic and she’s still trying to get a message through that there is an afterlife.”
“You’re all wrong.”
The students all turned to the quiet kid in the corner, sitting and scribbling away in a small notebook, a hat covering most of his face.
“What’s that?” one of the others asked. “Wrong?”
“It’s not a woman-” he began to explain.
“What? She’s got long hair!”
“Lots of people can have long hair.” he tugged his hat down a little at the loud voices. “But it’s a man. About twenty-two to twenty-five at most, and he’s not a ghost. He’s a person, he leaves footprints a-and fingerprints.”
He had a piece of tape in that notebook where he’d collected those fingerprints, traced over them to keep them from smudging.
“... yeah, okay,” one of the others snorted and rolled their eyes. “Guess Virgin Holmes here has all the info.”
His cheeks turned red at the laughter. They didn’t all laugh, one of them even elbowed the offending girl and gave her a stern look, but just a little bit of laughter was enough to make him want to disappear.
“Like you can…” he muttered to his sketch of the ‘ghost.’
That night as he was heading home he saw him again, standing by the fountain and staring into the water. It was the boldest he’d ever been in showing himself, but he had the ability to vanish so quickly it really was just pure luck he was seen.
He gasped, and moved to hide behind a bush. That small sound alone was enough to make the ghost lift his head, and look around. The student held his breath, and tried to take a small step to the side to better conceal himself.
He turned and found himself face to face, inches away, from the ghost.
“What are you doing?” the ghost asked, tilting his head.
The student yelped and jumped back in surprise, dropping his journal which fell open on the cobblestones. The ghost snatched it up and started leafing through it.
“... you are following me,” he remarked.
“Investigating you,” the student corrected, standing and dusting himself off. “I… s-sorry.”
“You have a lot. A lot more than others ever found.” The ghost sounded… impressed? But above all that he sounded… tired. Monotone.
Bored.
“I wanted to know what you were doing here,” the student said. “No one ever sees you during the day, you don’t teach or attend classes, I… can I ask you who you are?”
The ghost tilted his head again, and shrugged. “I am Izuru Kamukura.”
“The school’s founder?” the student asked, confused and doubtful.
“No.”
“So… it’s a coincidence?
“No.”
“You’re not being very helpful,” the student sighed.
“... ask more precise questions.” the ghost handed him his journal back, and the student hesitantly accepted it, before flipping to a fresh page and patting himself down for a pencil.
“Okay, why do you have the same name as the school’s founder?” the student asked, following the ghost’s advice.
“Because I was an important investment and symbol for this school.”
“I’ve never heard of you.”
“What’s your name?” Izuru asked, moving to the nearby bench and perching on the armrest.
“S-Shuichi,” he answered.
“I’ve never heard of you either,” Izuru replied, making Shuichi groan but also chuckle.
“Okay. How about… why haven’t I heard of you, if you’re important to this school?”
“Because I am a failed experiment.” Izuru stood and started walking along the length of the bench, hopping down at the end and moving to repeat the childish sort of fidgeting on the fountain instead.
Shuichi noted that in his book: restless behavior
“What do you mean by ‘failed experiment?’” he asked.
“I failed the personality tests,” Izuru said. “I lack empathy and motivation.”
“What were you supposed to be?” Shuichi kept scribbling notes, he was so focused he didn’t hear Izuru approach and was once again startled to find him inches away.
“Why do you want to know all this?” Izuru asked.
“... I’m a detective, why are you telling me all this?” Shuichi countered.
Izuru shrugged. “I’m bored.” he glimpsed over Shuichi’s notes quickly before continuing. “Four years ago, a reserve course student volunteered for an experimental procedure, a study regarding the ability to create artificial talent. I am the result, the ultimate human being. However, I failed to become what they wanted: the ultimate hope.”
Shuichi noticed he wasn’t having to prompt him anymore, it seemed he had Izuru’s full attention now.
“As the years passed and it became clear I wasn’t developing the personality they lobotomized out of me, they stopped their experiments. Cut their losses. Supposedly, they are still keeping me for study, but I no longer hide my nightly outings and they no longer care so…” Izuru shrugged.
“... they forgot about you?” Shuichi asked, feeling sad. “And now you just live here?”
“No point going anywhere else.” Izuru sat on the edge of the fountain, hunching over looking almost sulky.
Shuichi tried to gather all the information in his head and process it. It was a lot to digest, but Izuru seemed honest. Of course, a lot of people seemed a lot of things.
“Can you prove it?” Shuichi asked.
“Prove what?”
“Prove you’re the ultimate human being.”
Izuru looked him over. “You’re the ultimate detective this year?” “Yes.”
Izuru quickly circled him, so fast some of his hair hit Shuichi in the face and he made a spluttering sound.
“You don’t stay in the dorms and you’ve been spending nights away from home, avoiding something. You haven’t been sleeping either, but it’s not just from following me. Following me was something to do to give you a reason to avoid home and not sleep. Something at home is troubling you, keeping you awake, causing some sort of emotional distress. You’re also distracted by several of your fellow classmates whom you find attractive.”
“H-how-?”
“Bags under the eyes, rumpled clothes you’ve worn several days in a row, I’ve seen you sneaking about before, and you wrote their names in your journal,” Izuru remarked. “Kaede Akamatsu, Kaito Momota, Maki Ha-”
“Okay!” Shuichi cut him off, blushing. “But that’s simple deduction! I’m not special for being able to do that, anyone could! What else can you do?”
Izuru rolled his eyes, then performed a triple backflip.
Shuichi’s jaw dropped.
“Why is it always the acrobatics that amaze you people?” Izuru sighed.
“It’s… flashier,” Shuichi said.
“Why are you avoiding home?” Izuru asked suddenly, and Shuichi’s face fell. He tugged his hat down.
“... I have to be a detective at home.”
“You’re being a detective right now.”
“... I’m not putting anyone away, I’m not hurting anyone. I’m just watching you… and you could probably kill me for even trying…”
Izuru raised an eyebrow. “That’s reckless. Do you want me to kill you?”
Shuichi shrugged and Izuru suddenly found himself a lot more interested.
Interested? Or… there was a word. He used to use it quite often but…
Concerned?
“A case you’ve solved is troubling you?” Izuru guessed. “Your guardians expect you to continue regardless?”
“My uncle, it’s a family business and… helps to have a Hope’s Peak student as an employee. Good for business.” Shuichi closed his journal, suddenly uninterested in taking notes.
“He’s using you for your talent?” Izuru asked, seeming as close to emotive as Shuichi had seen him so far.
“I mean… I wouldn’t say that but…”
“He is a detective, who either has not noticed or is willfully ignoring your emotional distress so you can continue aiding him. He is either using you, or an incompetent guardian.” Izuru huffed, and folded his arms over his chest. “I am familiar with this. Come with me.”
“W-where to?” Shuichi asked, as Izuru put a hand on his shoulder and started guiding him.
“I don’t use my bed, you can,” Izuru replied.
“I… wait, what?”
“I’m giving you a place to sleep safely, until you finally decide to ask for a room in the dorms,” Izuru said. “Eventually you will have to find the courage to ask for that or tell your uncle no, but right now it interests me to help you so I will.”
“So… I get to see where you live? Where you were experimented on?” Shuichi asked, unable to help his curiosity.
“Yes.” Izuru stepped on the hidden panel that opened the doorway to the stairs, and Shuichi was left surprised once more.

Escape from the Virtual World.
Tumblr media
I see...so that’s what happened...
Tumblr media
Mikado threw you down here after his soldiers failed to kill you.
Tumblr media
Yeah, that’s it basically.
Tumblr media
But what were you doing in that box Chiaki?
Tumblr media
Box?
Tumblr media
Yeah, when I came around here, I saw this giant box floating off the ground.
Tumblr media
When I touched it and said Izuru Kamukura, it opened up and Chiaki came out.
Tumblr media
To be honest...I don’t really know why I was in there either.
Tumblr media
But I can take a guess as to why I’m here...
Tumblr media
Why’s that?
Tumblr media
This world that we’re in right now...wasn’t created on it’s own.
Tumblr media
This world is made from scraps and...I guess data of the original Neo World Program.
Tumblr media
The original program? You mean the one where we had our killing game?
Tumblr media
That’s right. This world is made using assets of that program. And since my AI was written for that program...
Tumblr media
I guess I just got carried over, since I was also originally part of the program. The box part doesn’t make sense...
Tumblr media
Well, it’s good to see you again, whatever the case may be.
Tumblr media
Now here’s the issue. How the hell do we get out of here?
Tumblr media
You guys didn’t find an exit?
Tumblr media
No. We searched over there, but no dice.
Tumblr media
If you want, I can let you guys out.
Tumblr media
Huh? You know a way out of the trash heap?
Tumblr media
No.
Tumblr media
Oh...
Tumblr media
I mean I can help you guys get out of the virtual world.
Tumblr media
Wha-That’s even better!
Tumblr media
How do you do that?
Tumblr media
Give me a second...
*Chiaki begins to fiddle with her remote controller, when suddenly...
Tumblr media
Ah!
*Nagito steps back as a weird portal opens behind him. It has the same hypnotic fashion on it as it was on Hajime’s phone when they entered.
Tumblr media
So...if we step through here...we can return to the normal world?
Tumblr media
That’s right.
Tumblr media
Well then, fuck it! Let’s go.
*Hajime, Fuyuhiko and Nagito head towards the portal, but before they can walk through, Hajime turns around.
Tumblr media
You’re not coming with?
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media
Come on. I’m sure everyone over there is dying to see you.
*Hajime walks back and takes her hand, pulling her towards the portal.
Tumblr media
W-Wait a second! I-I don’t think that’s a good idea?
Tumblr media
Why not?
Tumblr media
I’ve never been able to use the portal to leave on my own before...I...
Tumblr media
Well...you’re not alone anymore.
Tumblr media
Come on. Let’s give it a try.
Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
Ok...
*Clutching Hajime’s hand, they all walk through the portal.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
...
Tumblr media
So...are we back?
Tumblr media
It seems like we made it...Look...
*Nagito waves around his bionic hand to prove it.
Tumblr media
Yeah, and I got my eye...lost again...
Tumblr media
...Thank god that’s over...
GUYS!
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media
GUYS! Nagito! Fuyuhiko!
Tumblr media
Hajime!
Tumblr media
Oh, hey Mahiru. Kazuichi. What’s-
Tumblr media
*WA-POW!
Tumblr media
GUGHU!!
*Mahiru punches Hajime hard around the face.
Tumblr media
Oooh! Shit...that’s gonna leave a bruise...!
Tumblr media
Ow...what the hell Mahi-
Tumblr media
Huh?
*Mahiru buries her face in Hajime’s chest and starts to lightly punch him.
Tumblr media
D-Do you even know h-how worried I was!? I thought you weren’t...coming back...!
Tumblr media
I...Thought I lost you Hajime! *Sob* Hic! *Cry*
Tumblr media
I...I’m sorry Mahiru...
*Hajime hugs her apologetically.
Tumblr media
So...what the hell happened?
Tumblr media
That’s a long story...
Tumblr media
Wait...where’s Chiaki?
Tumblr media
Huh? Wh-What about Chiaki?
Tumblr media
Hm...maybe she couldn’t come through the portal after all...
Tumblr media
I’m getting a little worried...
Tumblr media
Don’t be, we can just go back and get her...
Tumblr media
Oh, hold on...Where’s that card?
Tumblr media
This thing?
Tumblr media
Yeah, thanks...
*Mahiru hands Hajime the card but when he goes to scan it...
Tumblr media
Huh? What’s that?
Tumblr media
What’s what?
Tumblr media
There’s an app on my phone I don’t recognize...
Tumblr media
Hajime: It’s replaced my health app...
*Hajime goes to touch the app, and then suddenly...
Tumblr media
...*snore*...
Tumblr media
Chiaki!
Tumblr media
Huh?
Tumblr media
O-Oh...hey Hajime.
Tumblr media
Wh-Wh-Whwhwhwhwhw...!
Tumblr media
What the hell...!?
Tumblr media
Hajime!? Wh-What is...is that...!?
Tumblr media
It looks like she can come through, but is confined to your phone Hajime.
Tumblr media
Oh well...it’s better than nothing I guess.
Tumblr media
Hajime! Answer me! What the hell is Chiaki doing on your phone!? How is she here!?
Tumblr media
I think we should all meet back up...Then I can explain everything that happened...
