bro i want to talk about the fire within series so bad. i loved it. i was utterly reliant on my local library and what it had when i went in so i read them all out of order. i have no idea what happened in any of those books but i begged for a little clay dragon for years. i never got one

Oh my god, an actual real life person who's also read this insane series

You didnt miss much by reading out of order, by the time I got to book 5 I had absolutely no idea what was happening and I read it IN order. You start with a charming little cottage fantasy about clay dragons coming to life and by book five theres like 3 parallel universes, an alien force is invading the earth and theres a full scale war, oh and the main character (who was dead) is actually one of the aliens incognito? Or something? I tried to reread a synopsis today and only got more confused, WHAT WAS THIS SERIES

I'm sorry you never managed to get a clay dragon 😔 those were really the cutest part of the story, I dont know how we got to the world invading stuff 😂

I still dont know how that series ended tbh.... never read book 6 or 7....

i am now realising that i haven't shared these oc's with tumblr yet so this is exciting. Thank you @multifandomgoth who i share custody of these guys with, for helping me hash these out.

Max Blackheart- has a weird fascination with bugs, will pick it up with her bare hands much to the disgust of everyone else. Sometimes likes to dangle it in front of peoples faces for the laughs but will put it outside like a normal person eventually

Ryder Blackheart- back up option to get rid of it if Max isn't there bc my guy is so tired and does not care about this stupid bug

Tyler Quill- attacks it with bug spray. likes to act as if he isn't scared but if it moves he will scream. usually the one to suggest burning the house down and moving

Nixon- climbs on the table and spams the groupchat until someone rescues her

Axel and Phoenix- put a cup over it but need someone else to do the rest. Have been known to forget about the trapped bug and get very upset when they realise it's dead. :(

Siren Blackheart- tries to vacuum it up, very low success rate. usually ends up calling max for help

Midnight Quill- records Siren and Tyler's fails. Otherwise does very little to help.

hey there! i’m kit, i’m 18, and i’m from the uk (currently the midlands, but imma be moving soon for university!)

i’m looking for a penpal, preferably in europe due to the fact that shipping costs are more the further away you are :(, but if ur further out and read this and find yourself thinking ‘hey, that’s exactly the kinda person i wanna be penpals with’ please feel free to send me a message!

personally, i really am a nerd for history, literature and the formation of language (would love to speak loads of languages but they just don’t go in so i’m kinda stuck with english and the bits of french & spanish that were forced into me at school) as part of my alevels i wrote a whole long essay on the french revolution and the salem witch trials (separately) so if you want to hear about how cool those were i’d love to write you a shortened and more excited ‘essay’ about those. aside from those, im also fascinated by many other revolutions and civil wars as well as the position of women in history and the activities of normal people.

so much of history that we get taught in schools and stuff is focused on the politics and the actions of people in power and it makes me angry because ordinary people deserve more focus!!!

anyway, i also write short stories and am working on a novel atm, and i sometimes do a little painting although i haven’t done much recently because of my exams, but i’d love to send some of my little scribbles.

if you have really different interests please don’t feel like i’m looking for someone exactly like me- hearing about things i dislike/don’t understand from people who love them is one of life’s most amazing things!
