Never in your life would you have guessed and expected that you would have a family not with anyone, but with Itoshi Rin. The sixteen year old boy who ignored your existence but always gave you his English notes. The boy who always listened to your complaining during breaks, that you are thirsty or hungry and when you left the classroom and came back there was always a strawberry milk with a chocolate cupcake on your desk.
The boy who is now your husband, a successful young footballer who at only 25 years of age has a lot of achievements — in career and personal paths of course. Winning another treble with his team, he had a break during the summertime where he could spend more time with you and the twins — Haruto and Hinata.
Rin had never thought he would be a good father, that he would be a father at all if he was being honest with himself. But the miracle happened and now there are two little nine-month-old babies waiting to be fed sitting in their high chairs.
You sit at the kitchen table, feeding Haruto and Hinata their breakfast while Rin sips his coffee, a soft smile adoring his now more matured face as he watches the three of you. He was smitten by how fast you adapted to parenthood because just twenty years ago you were kids playing house taking care of the many baby dolls you had and now the game came into life.
"He's trying to stand again," you say, glancing over at Haruto, who's attempting to pull himself up on the edge of his high chair.
Rin looks over at his son, who looks exactly like you, but can't get by without the genes and the visible lower eyelashes. "Hinata's been babbling non stop. I swear she probably got that from you." Setting his cup down wiping the mashed potatoes from his daughter's mouth. As for her, she is Rin's copy , as you sometimes tend to joke that Rin and Hinata look more like twins instead of her brother.
Rolling your eyes at his comment as Haruto took another spoon of the puree. "Well, it's good that she is trying to say her first words." Looking at your husband with this glint in your eyes that now spark and he just knows that this stare is up for no good. "But with you always staying quiet, I think, it will take her way more time to say the two syllables."
Rin raised an eyebrow. "Careful who you are challenging now." As the babies giggle and play with their food, you and him engage in a staring contest, each silently daring the other to back down.
"I bet Haruto will walk first," you declared confidently, eyeing the little boy as he was just playing with his food along with his sister. Rin scoffed, furrowing his brows as he crossed his arms. "Hinata will definitely beat him to it. She's already trying to stand on her own and talk."
Just then, amidst the 'fight' a glob of potato puree escapes Haruto's grasp and lands on Rin's shirt, much to your amusement and his dismay.
"See, even your son disagrees with you," you replied, unable to contain your laughter as you got a napkin to wipe the mess off your husband's shirt.
Rin's expression softened, a smile tugging at the corners of his lips despite his annoyance. "Looks like Haruto is already making his own statements," he remarked, glancing down in an attempt to be angry at his son for throwing the mashed potatoes but he just couldn't. Not when he looked so cute, with his little baby eyes that were the same color as yours, it was really scary how each of you had a little copy of yourself.
"Maybe he's trying to tell us that he's ready for solid foods," You joked, reaching for another napkin to clean up the rest of the mess on your son's chair.
Rin shook his head, going to take a sip of his cold coffee, "Or maybe he's just following in his mother's steps to be a troublemaker." he teased, earning a playful swat on the arm from you making him nearly choke. "Oh, please! Just because I had detention twice in highschool doesn't mean anything."
"And why did you have detention?" That you didn't like to answer because he will again make fun of you for doing it when you were kids. "You know why, Rinnie."
He actually doesn't know because they didn't want the reputation of the school to be tarnished and kept it secret between the teachers and people involved.
"How lukewarm, and I wanted to show our kids who not to take an example from." Rin said, reaching out to tickle Haruto's chubby cheeks as if seeking his son's support in his quest for answers. A small smile playing on your lips despite your attempt to stay neutral. "Fine, fine. I may have... uh, taken matters into my own hands when some idiots decided to talk shit about you," you admitted shyly, trying to downplay the seriousness of the situation.
Rin's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "You got detention for defending me?" he couldn't believe it, actually he can, sometimes you get aggressive, be it because of people who shit talk him, a video game, or the fact that your favorite flavor of ice cream was out of stock. "That's... You are actually insane."
For once you expected something romantic to come out of his mouth but having big expectations can only let you down. You didn't mind though, that was his way of showing his appreciation and apparently it was sarcasm with witty remarks. "Well, you know, I couldn't just stand by and let them bully you," you mumbled, busying yourself with cleaning up Hinata's highchair now, trying to avoid further discussion on the topic. "At least they stopped messing around with you."
Rin reached over, gently lifting your chin with his finger to meet his gaze. "Thank you, Y/N," the tenderness in his voice and the love in his eyes told you enough. And you felt sixteen again when you got your first kiss. Leaning closer his nose touching yours, his lips barely brushing against yours , suddenly the babies started crying, interrupting the moment. With a soft sigh, you pulled away, smiling apologetically at Rin before rushing to attend to the crying babies. Rin glared at the twins for momentarily stealing his wife's attention. And he wonders, from where did they get to be so clingy?
Tumblr media
Changed and cleaned, Haruto and Hinata played with their toys on the soft rug in the living room, as you and Rin sat on the couch, enjoying a rare moment of relaxation and not changing diapers or removing food from your clothes but instead watched Mickey Mouse Club House.
Suddenly, your attention was drawn to Hinata, who was attempting to pull herself up using the fence of their playing crib. "Look, Rin, she's trying to stand!" Y/N exclaimed, excitement evident in her voice. Didn't Rin bet on Hinata being the first to talk? “Quick open your camera, if I don't have this moment recorded, I swear Itoshi!”
Rin quickly reached for his phone as you went inside the mini playground. "It's recording, calm down," he said, already tapping on the record button.
Hinata wobbled on her tiny legs, her little giggles with a gasp of surprise, she took her first uncertain steps, stumbling slightly before falling into Y/N's waiting arms.
Your heart swelled with joy as you hugged Hinata close. "You did it, sweetheart! You took your first steps!"
Meanwhile, Haruto, who had been watching his sister intently, seemed to be trying to do something. Suddenly, he blurted out, "Mama!"
You and your husband exchanged stunned glances, eyes wide with disbelief. "Did he just...?" Rin trailed off as he was trying to process everything.
"I think he did," you replied, voice trembling with emotion. Tears of happiness welled up in your eyes as you looked at Rin, Haruto crawling to you as you placed Hinata on your left.
Rin's expression mirrored yours as he stared at the children, phone still in his hand, "I can't believe it,”
“Me too… Our babies grew so fast, oh my I need to call both of our moms and tell them about this!”
“They prefer you instead of me...” As you reached for your phone, Rin pouted "I didn't know I had 3 babies instead of 2." His mock hurt expression made you burst into laughter.
Grinning, you teased, "Well, Haruto seems to be leaning towards Mama, but don't worry, I'm sure Hinata's first word will be Dada."
As if on cue, Hinata reached out towards Rin, her tiny fingers curling around his shirt sleeve. Rin's heart melted at the sight, and he scooped her up into his arms, pressing a kiss to her rosy cheek. "Looks like she's already practicing saying 'Dada'," you said, unable to hide the happy tone in your voice. One thing was for sure that Hinata was daddy's girl and you will practice saying da-da just for Rin to have his moment of glory.
“Do you want to go to call Isagi and brag about our kids?"
"Absolutely.”

daemyra | fav kids & fav parents
controversial take but I see ppl catfighting about this a lot so I thought to throw my own coin here with my headcanons/interpretation:
I think Daemon's favorite child is 100% Aegon III. The man wanted a son for so very long. it makes sense that the favoritism would go there. Aegon is everything he had wanted. He lost the potential son Mysaria could give him, lost another son along with his second wife Laena, and finally got his wish with his final wife, Rhaenyra. I know there's the argument that "baela is his mini me so she'd be the apple of his eye" but eh, i never viewed baela as a female version of daemon. She's wild and passionate and has a fire similar to her parents but that's it and it's okay. A child being a favourite doesn't mean he doesn't love the rest
Rhaenyra's favorite child is Jacaerys. He's the firstborn son, her heir, her pride and joy. I know there's the alternative belief that Aegon III could also be suited for the role of the favorite, but I think he and rhaneyra are simply more emotional attached.
I think Laena would probably lean more towards Baela 'cause hot take but baela is more similar to Laena (in my mind at least). Obviously she loves Rhaena too but Baela is definitely her favorite.
Now, onto the children:
Jacaerys/Lucerys/Joffreys favorite parent is Daemon. He's the one they identity and remember as a father and he's someone they look up to. Of course they adore their mother but Daemon is the fun parent and they can get away with anything as long as they have him by their side.
Aegon's iii favorite parent is Rhaenyra. He can be needy sometimes and his mother is all the more willing to be affectionate with her son. She loves that she finally has a boy who isn't in too much rush to grow up fast.
Viserys's II favorite parent is also Rhaenyra. Vivi prefers the quiet company of hid older brother Aegon above all but he's not fond of the training his other elder siblings and Daemon are obsessed with. He loves sitting with Aegon as his mother tells them one of the stories of old valyria.
Baela's favorite is Daemon. While she admires her mother, her father's Rogue prince personality is more appealing, and while her mother doesn't preasure her about being a "proper lady" according to westerosi standards her father still let's her get away with more things
Rhaenas' favorite parent is Laena. She admires her mother's spirit and hopes to become like her one day. When her mother passes away Rhaena latches onto Rhaenyra who makes it clear to her and her twin that she'll never try to replace their mother's memory. Her beauty and playful side definitely help Rhaena grow out of her shy self.
Also, had Visenya survived she definitely would have joined Aegon and Viserys to team Rhaenyra. She's mama's girl

Alexia Putellas x Child!Reader
Jenni Hermoso x Child!Reader
Summary: Alexia tries to get her act together
Tumblr media
For as long as she will ever live, Alexia will never forget her mother's face that day at Alba's door.
She will never forget the genuine horror on her mother's face even as she took control of the situation. She will never forget that night when Alba slammed her against the wall after the final of the Copa de la Reina. She will never forget the way you hid behind Jenni's legs after your ballet lesson.
It's all she thinks about even as she sits in the rocking chair with a sleeping Jaume in her arms.
"Ale?" Olga says sleepily," It's three in the morning. Come back to bed."
Alexia doesn't want to. She doesn't want to let Jaume go but she doesn't want to look at him either.
He was so perfect. His birth had been quick and easy unlike yours. Alexia had felt an instant connection to him, unlike when she suffered a bought of post-partum depression with you. He was so soft and so perfect and yet...
Alexia couldn't believe that she has pushed you away in favour of him.
She had a beautiful son and daughter. Two children, not one.
She thought having a sibling would be the best thing for you. She wanted to build a family with Olga. She never considered that she hadn't actually included you in that family.
"Alexia," Olga says, a bit more awake now," Come on. He's due for a feed soon. I'd like some sleep before that."
Mechanically, Alexia places her son back in his crib, wiping away some of the drool on his face as she allows Olga to lead her back to bed.
A sense of numbness follows her now and it's clear to everyone.
Word has spread amongst the team now about what has happened. They know the bare minimum, only that Alba took Bambi and that Jenni has dropped everything to fly across the world for you.
No one knows why, officially. It's clear that Mapi and Ingrid have informed a few team members. Paredes, in particular, cannot look Alexia in the eye anymore and some of the younger players are wary seeing that.
Her life is falling apart. She had no idea you were the linchpin holding it all together.
Olga lays next to her, head pillowed on Alexia's chest.
"You're so tense," She says," Relax. Everything's going to be fine."
Alexia scoffs. "Is it?"
Her question hangs in the air for several minutes. Neither of them speak. Neither of them move.
"Yes," Olga says eventually," You need to stay positive, Alexia. If not for yourself then for your daughter-"
"Your daughter?" Alexia echoes Olga's words perfectly," My daughter? Is she not ours?"
The silence is telling and Olga rolls over and away.
"Is she? Jaume is ours. y/n is yours."
Alexia sits up in bed, reaching over to flick a lamp on. This wasn't a conversation she could have in the dark.
"We have a son together. We're going to get married. In what world is Bambi just mine?!"
"In every world!" Olga sits up too. "She has always been yours, Alexia! I am just the woman her Mami is marrying! Nothing more, nothing less!"
"How can you say that?! We're making a family together! Bambi is included in that family!"
"Of course she is but when have I ever taken that role in her life?! You took her to football! You take her to ballet!"
"She stays home with you all day!" Alexia bites back, standing now until they're both yelling at each other over the bed. "You make her lunch! You keep her occupied!"
"And you do her baths and her bedtime routine! You do her morning routine too! God, Alexia, I am essentially her glorified babysitter! You have never once let me take over those things!"
"You didn't ask?! Olga, if you wanted to do that stuff just ask me!"
"And be rejected? No! You've never given any indication that I was even allowed to try!"
"Because I thought you didn't want to! Bambi has always been mine! Forgive me for not knowing how much to put on your plate. I was trying to make this transition easy!"
"An easy transition?! Alexia, I was pregnant! I was already thrown in the deep end! Adding a self-sufficient kid wouldn't have been much worse!"
They're both screaming at each other now and Jaume clearly hears the noise because he cries from down the hall.
Alexia takes a deep breath, eyes shutting briefly as she counts to ten to calm herself.
Olga goes to get Jaume, moving out the door.
"If we're going to get Bambi back," Alexia calls after her," Then we have to both want her!"
The forms about your ballet class lay on the kitchen table when Alexia gets up the next day. Things were frosty last night when Olga came back to bed with Jaume but they seemed to be looking up when Olga said that they would have a mature conversation about the Bambi situation when Alexia got home.
Alexia picks it up as she eats her breakfast, skimming through it. It's for an extra class on Thursday nights (five until seven) on top of your usual ones. Apparently, it's for those little kids that have real potential. As in, the potential to be great.
Alexia had been one of those kids but for football instead of ballet. She had excelled. She was one of the greatest in the world now all because her father saw the potential in her and signed her up for a team.
She had tried to do the same with you. She took you to the under-fives Barcelona team but it hadn't turned out how she want it to. The other children had left you in the dust. Alexia had hoped that it would be a one time thing, that the first session was a fluke.
You were already so different to her and even back then, she knew that when Jaume arrived things would be different.
She'd tried to get you into football so you would have something to bond over together, at least until Jaume was big enough to play with you.
But it wasn't meant to be and her Mama had insisted in signing you up for something else.
Originally, Alexia had planned on it being another team sport, desperate to have something at least similar to football that she could cling to.
Instead, her Mama had reminded her of last Christmas when the family went to go see the Nutcracker and how enamoured you had been.
Ale's Mama had pushed and pushed for ballet and Alexia was glad that she had.
The forms sat signed on the kitchen table as Alexia washed up her bowl and dialled a number on her phone.
"Hola, Mama," She says," It's about Bambi..."
It's after training that Alexia goes to see her Mama and sister. They meet up at Eli's house and all crowd around the kitchen table.
Jenni is there too and when Alexia asks who is looking after you, she's told that Mapi and Ingrid have taken you for ice cream.
"I don't like this," Alba mutters from where she's leaning against the wall. She's the only one not sat, arms crossed over her chest. "How do we know that she's not going to take Bambi home and neglect her again, huh?"
It's the hardest words Alexia has ever had to say but she pushes them out of her mouth. "I don't want you to give me Bambi back, not now at least."
"What do you mean, Alexia?" Her Mama asks.
"I...I have a lot of making up to do," Alexia admits," I broke her trust and that is not an easy thing to get back. If I want Bambi to come home then she has to want it to. I don't want her to be unhappy again."
"What are you saying?"
"Let me visit her, please. Let me earn back her trust, please."
Everyone knows Eli is in charge here. She is the head of the family and everyone defers to her on big decisions like this. This is a family matter. This is about her granddaughter's happiness and her daughter's peace of mind.
"Bambi is very fragile right now," Eli says quietly but the house is so silent everyone can hear her clearly," This is a serious matter, Alexia and if it was anyone else's daughter, child services will have already been called."
Alexia looks down at the table, the same table she would be scolded at when she was young.
"Your father would be ashamed of you." Eli's words are hard and biting and it's exactly what Alexia wants, even if it causes a sharp pain in her chest. "This is not how we raised you. That little girl is so beloved by everyone and what you have done...I love you, Ale, but it is unacceptable."
"I know, Mama. Please, let me make this right."
"Bambi coming home is her choice. It is not a when...it is an if. If I decide that you are doing more harm than good then there will be other actions we can take."
She looks at Jenni, who up until this point has been silent and Alexia's eyes dart to her too.
"Mama, what are you talking about?"
"Eli," Jenni says," She is trying. We don't need to-"
"Jenni still has adoption papers," Alba says from her corner of the room," All they're missing is your signature. Mama is saying that if this cannot be resolved and Bambi doesn't want to come home..."
She lets the idea hang in the air. She doesn't need to say it out loud. They all know what she means.
"It won't get that far," Jenni says, looking at Alexia for the first time since all of this became real," Bambi loves you."
Alexia pushes through the lump in her throat and the tears pricking in her eyes. "If I cannot make this better then she will have the best chance with you."
Jenni looks away first. "She has ballet on Saturday until one. We can do a visit then."
"Thank you."
Olga is sitting with Jaume when Alexia gets home. It's an almost perfect image. All it's missing is you at Olga's feet, playing with your trains.
She can imagine it, your trainsets spread all over the floor and your ballet bag left abandoned on a chair. You will smile when you see her and Alexia will litter your face with kisses before doing the same to Olga and Jaume.
It will be perfect, Alexia promises herself.
"Hey, little man," She coos to her son, hefting him up into her arms and pressing a kiss to his forehead.
Jaume giggles at the affection, lips smacking together as his hand whips out to grab at Alexia's nose curiously. He's been a little fussy recently and extremely sensitive to changes in light but he seems a little happier now.
"That's my nose," Alexia says. She wiggles it. "Is it really funny? Huh? Is my nose funny?"
"Jaume seems to think so." Olga rises from the sofa and pecks Alexia's lips. "How was your mother?"
"Helpful."
"And Alba?"
"She was...Alba."
"And Jenni?"
"How did you-?"
"I am not blind or deaf, Ale. Your team gossips. Jenni has comes back to Spain for y/n."
"Amor-"
"I'm not threatened," Olga laughs," You broke up for a reason but even I know that a meeting of y/n would involve her. How was it? What did they say?"
Alexia manages a smile. "I can see her on Saturday, after ballet. There's a place where you can paint pottery nearby. I think I'll take her there."
"That's nice," Olga says.
"I..." Alexia's been floating in a happy bubble ever since she started to drive home. She doesn't want to ruin it but she has to know. "Did you have a think about what we talked about?"
Olga sighs. "I love Jaume," She says after several beats of quiet," Because he is mine, yes, but mostly because he is yours as well. And I love you so much."
Alexia doesn't like where this is going. "And Bambi?"
"I'm sorry, Ale, but I do not love y/n but...I think I could learn to because she is so much like you and I love you. I do not know y/n like I know you and Jaume. I want to though. I want her home with us so I can love her like I love Jaume. I am sorry if it is not what you want to hear but it is my truth and I hope that is enough."
Tears fall down Alexia's cheeks.
"It's enough. It's enough, amor."
Alexia spends all week waiting for Saturday. There are matches to prepare for and media commitments to do but you're all she can think about.
She wonders if she should bring you a new train to mark the occasion but the model train store has finally shut down and Alexia cannot get one for you in time.
Next time though, she promises herself that she'll got you a new train for your collection. Her palms are sweaty and she's nervous when she spots you and Jenni walking down the street hand-in-hand.
You're still in your ballet clothes but you've got one of Jennie's jackets on and it's dragging on the ground behind you because it's too big. Your hair is still done up in a bun and a few wisps fall down to frame your face.
"Bambi," Alexia says, suddenly breathless when you look up at her.
"Hola, Mami," You reply, ducking a little bit behind Jenni as you greet her.
"Your Mami and you are going to paint some pottery," Jenni says," And I'll be right here to pick you up when you're done."
"You won't be late?"
"Of course I won't be! You're my most favourite little girl in the whole wide world! I'd never be late to pick you up!"
You smile and giggle when Jenni peppers kisses all over your face before gently moving you towards Alexia.
"Hola, Mami," You say again.
Alexia smiles and takes your hand. "Hola, Bambi."
You look very nervous and your hand is unusually warm in Alexia's, though she puts that down to you coming straight from ballet.
There's a big wall where you can choose what to make. Alexia gets a mug and, unsurprisingly, you want the train. It's at the very top of the shelf and you can't reach and you don't want Mami to get upset at you for asking when you could easily get something that's closer to your height.
But Alexia notices.
She's making sure to pay a lot of attention to you now. To the way that your ballet pumps are wearing a bit at the soles and the way you play with the sleeves of Jenni's jacket.
"Do you want the train, Bambi?" She asks," Do you want me to pick you up so you can grab it? Can I touch you?"
You nervously nod and Alexia pretends to not notice the way that you don't breath until you're safely back on the ground.
The little shop is quaint and fairly quiet and Alexia lets you choose the table at the very back.
Very gently, she telegraphs her every move to you as she rolls up the sleeves of Jenni's jacket so you don't get paint on it.
You're both quiet as you paint.
Your little tongue is stuck out in concentration as you dip your paintbrush into the paint and move it to cover your train.
"You moved up in ballet," Alexia says eventually," How was that?"
"Was good," Is the response from your tiny voice," It is harder now but still fun." You blink a few times as the overhead light buzzes and you scratch at you neck. It's been a little itchy since you last saw Mami and you don't like.
You haven't told anyone because you're scared they're going to get angry at you. You're a big girl now. Big girl don't complain about something as silly as itchy skin.
"I'm very proud of you," Alexia says," And I'm glad that you're enjoying ballet so much."
Your watery little smile back makes Alexia nearly cry herself. "Really, Mami?"
"Of course. I am so proud of my Bambi. You make me proud everyday."
"Are you sure, Mami?"
"Yes. I am very proud of you."
You sniffle a little and duck your head back down to continue painting. It hurts to move your head though. It's all stiff and tight so you have to hold it at an odd angle so you don't cry - though you're not sure if it's because of the pain or the fact that Mami is acting like this is the Before.
The Mami from the Before never got angry when you asked silly questions. The Mama from the Now got angry at you once when you asked a silly questions when Jaume was crying.
You hope that this Mami won't be mad because you ask a silly question.
"Mami," You ask softly, the memory plaguing you ever since your Jenni returned to you," Jenni says she wanted me when I was little. Did you want me?"
Whatever bubble Alexia was in before pops and it's like icy cold water has been dumped on her.
"What do you mean, Bambi?"
"You and Miss Olga wanted Jaume," You say," And my Jenni says she wanted me. Did you want me too?"
"Bambi..." Alexia doesn't want to think about those first few months of having you. The post-partum depression had hit hard and Alexia could do little but deal with yours and hers basic needs.
She had loved you and resented you all at the same time and the guilt had weighed on her for months.
"I always want you."
You shake your head before wincing and returning your head back to its awkward resting position. "But did you want me then? When I was little like Baby Jaume and when I was in your belly?"
Alexia moves from her chair to kneel in front of you. Her hand comes up to cradle you. Either her hands are big or your face is tiny because they cover your entire cheek.
"I love you," Alexia says," You're my Bambi and I've always loved you."
"But did you want me?"
"Bambi..."
"Mami...Mami, I..."
Alexia doesn't want to lie but she also doesn't want to tell you either. There were moments, that first week she found out she was pregnant when she didn't want you. She hadn't been overjoyed at the prospective of you. She hadn't wanted her career to be derailed by something as silly as a child.
She doesn't want to tell you the truth because she knows that it will be damaging to you. You're not old enough to be told things like this. You're not mature enough to be told this kind of information and not have it linger and fester within you for years.
But Alexia's always valued honesty. She doesn't like lying but she had lied to you all your life. She doesn't want to lie again now even if it's about something like this. Adults cannot fault other adults for telling their truth but you are neither an adult nor can you understand what this means for you.
"I want you now," Alexia says instead," I want you when I go to bed every night. I want you when I wake up every morning. I want you when I score a goal and when I win trophies. I want you, Bambi."
You sniffle and scratch more insistently at your skin, your wrists this time.
"I miss you sometimes, Mami," You say," But coming back to your house is scary."
"Thank you for being honest, Bambi. You don't have to come home if you don't want to." Alexia forces down tears. "When I next see you, we should go and see Abuela and we'll explain things to you, okay?"
"Okay, Mami."
"Is your train done?"
Your train actually is done so Mami gives it and her mug to the lady who works there to finish off and you both walk outside.
"They should be done in a few days," Mami tells you," And then when I next see you, I'll give you your new train."
"Okay, Mami." Her hand is in yours and you think that is enough for today, pulling your hand away as Jenni turns the corner and lets you run to her.
"Hey," She laughs, swinging you up into her arms," How did it go? Was it fun?"
You don't answer, burying your face into Jenni's neck.
"I..." Alexia says," I think next time when should go to my Mama's...Conversations are...difficult sometimes."
Jenni nods. "I see," She says," Next week, maybe?"
The words are complete autopilot. Alexia hates what she's said the moment they're out of her mouth but they're completely out of habit and she doesn't even think before she speaks.
"We'll see," She says," I'll have to check my schedule." She clamps her mouth shut the moment she says them. "I mean- No, I meant-"
You look resigned, like you are so used to this that it barely effects you but Jenni looks furious. She hefts you up higher in her arms.
"Say goodbye to your Mami, Bambi."
"Bye, Mami."
"Hey...Wait, no, Jenni. I didn't mean-"
"Bambi needs to have a nap," Jenni says," She takes one right after ballet. We changed her schedule for painting today. I should get her home."
Alexia wilts, slouching her shoulders and curling in on herself. "Adios, Bambi. I love you!"
Jenni is already walking around and you don't offer your own I love you in return.
Jenni's steady steps feel nice as she walks you back to Tia Alba's. Your itchiness increases and you scratch more harshly at your neck.
"Ma-Jenni?"
"Yes, Bambi?"
"Can we have cuddles tonight?"
"Of course we can. I love cuddles with my favourite little girl. Are we having them on the sofa after bathtime or in bed together?"
Before Ma-Jenni came home, you slept with your Tia Alba. Now you sleep in the same bed as Ma-Jenni. She's big and strong and she holds you just right. She doesn't let you go the whole night. You go to sleep in her arms and you wake up in her arms.
"Bed cuddles please."
"I love bed cuddles."
You grin. "I love bed cuddles too!"
You scratch at your neck again and Jenni gently pulls your hand away. She frowns, swiping at your skin with her thumb a few times.
"You've got a bit of a rash there, Bambi," She says," We'll have to keep an eye on that."

You know what I never see explored?
"Not on MY watch!" Superfan Dash Baxter. The young, limnal, quarterback built like a tank and willing to hit like one.
Because let's be real here. Imagine that scenario: Dash, heading to practice with his Bros. His best friends. The team. When? Oh shit! It's PHANTOM! Best day EVER right?
Except it's NOT.
Somethings wrong. He's not as graceful as he usually is. There is no clever comebacks. He looks beat up, man. What HAPPENED? Everyone looks confused when Dash looks around. But before he can call up to him?
Phantom is Shot Out Of The SKY.
Hits the football field HARD. The entire team is already running. Full sprint. It's those fucking GIW. Already driving onto the field and tearing it up. Jumping out, weapons primed.
Phantom's not... oh god, he's not getting up.
He looks hurt. Really hurt. Those bastards are closing in.
Dash's team? Has his back. They're also fans. Friends of his. Not a single one hesitates. They put their BACKS into it and welcome these sick fucks to Tackle Practice. With a follow up of "Taste Your Own Teeth". Amity special, coach would be proud.
But Dash... fuck, he can't wail on these guys AND protect Phantom at the same time. Kwan tells him to go. Throws him his keys. His car is least shit. Dash owes him SO many pizzas for this. First pick on movies for LIFE, man.
It hurts to leave his team behind. His best friend. But Dash has to GO. He can already hear the Fentons closing in. He grabs Phantom, his HERO, and runs for his life.
Barely manages to peel out of there in time. Floors it. Calls Paulina, obviously. She and Star are doing a spa day thing. She picks up because she KNOWS he wouldn't bother her if it wasn't serious. And-!
Oh...
Oh fuck.
In the rear view mirror. The Fentons and GIW just screeched onto the road behind him. Closing distance FAST. What does he do? Paulina he can't... he WON'T hand Phantom over!
And of course she understands. For God's sake, she in LOVE with the guy. He's never heard her sound so scared and furious. They'll get phantom over her twice dead body. She and Star are making some sort of noises, chanting, and...?
Giant Amazons with swords? GHOST Amazons. Suddenly in the road, jumping over his car to attack the cars behind him. Paulina what the FUCK?? She been talking to her Abuela, APPARENTLY. Who's friends aunt's "roomate" was particularly good at communicating with the dead. So OBVIOUSLY Paulina got her to send notes and studied them in secret.
Gotta be able to speak to you future husband's family in their native language. You win brownie points. Gives her a step up. "Not the point"? It's kind of a point! Giant warrior women! Who-?
Paulina made friends while practicing.
Of course she did. Why is he even REMOTELY surprised she chose the giant terrifying Amazons to be beasties with? He's know her for years. He should know better by now.
.....he feels small asking. Hates that his voice shakes. But... but what do they DO, 'Lina?
What he hates even more is the little shake in his childhood friends voice, even though she's trying to sound certain and strong. What they Do? What they DO is Dash drives his ass the her house, gets in her BETTER car, which she is going to load up, and they leave Amity.
She has LOADS of money. All sorts of jewelry. They're very last season. Frankly, she.. she can't WAIT to pawn them if they have too. They just have to drive. Get Phantom as far away from those freaks as possible. Get help.
And? It could go so many ways from there? Paulina LOVES Phantom. How will she reconcile that with her views on Fenton? How will Dash? Seperated from their roles as "the popular ones" and "the crazy people's son". Knowing that... that Danny likes her TOO.
But she's been AWFUL to him. She said so much. DID so much.
Do the even? LIKE each other? Or just the IDEA of each other? The person they made up in their heads.
They're afraid, tired, on the run. But free from school, the expectations of others, the baked in histories of a small town. Who ARE they as people? Do they like each other? COULD they?
I want to believe that Paulina really means it. That no one is at their best in middle and high school. They say and do stupid, mean, shallow shit. Because the world presses and presses and tells them it's all they are worth. Because they don't know who they ARE yet. Because she is a child. Not yet eighteen.
And Danny isn't perfect either. He saw a pretty, pretty face and got distracted by it. Didn't see how HARD she works. How smart she is. How ambitious and brilliant at reading people.
Are they trying to get to an Embassy? To Paulina's extended Family to the south, who would most certainly take them in, and would gladly fight gods for them? Or is this a crossover? Are they going towards other Heros? Older ones?
Is Paulina planning to pull a Lois Lane and Cause Problems On Purpose? Is Dash HAUNTED by "oh fuck, Wes was right." And now knows he's gonna have just... just WALK UP TO THEM. Broad ass daylight. Like "hello, I clearly know your secret identity! Please don't kill me!"?
Whatever the plan? Danny is in the back row of Paulina's once nice, now beat to hell car, bleeding irresistibly damaging acidic ecto-blood all over the seats. Wrapped up like a mummy. Texting Tucker.
The live tweets from Amity are... An Event. A Spectacle for the ages. His parents KNOW now, have speed run their grief STRAIGHT to RAGE, directed that rage at the GIW, and gone to WAR. Once a Fenton, always a Fenton. Jazz was right. "Anti-ghost" sentience testing once a week DID pay off.
Was it a pain in the ass? Absolutely. But results don't lie. He clearly passed. Is clearly sentient, emotional, and their son. All in hard numbers they ran themselves. Will it stop them attack FULL ghosts? Jazz has no idea. But it sure did convince them to put the GIW in a hole and fill it with concrete.
Danny's getting reports of "you SHOT MY BABY!" Being shouted in public. Sam has decided to channel her frustration at being unable to help him into Full Goth Dramatic Shit Stirring. Non-waterproof mascara, disheveled hair. Clutching a picture of him. Dramatic howling and weeping in the arms of her parents.
Apparently now that he's presumed DEAD, the Mansons ALWAYS loved him. Like a SON to them. A sweet, innocent child. Their daughters friend! The GIW are monsters and child killers, they decry.
And the Red Huntress is... Oh, yikes. Yeah he should call her. Val is one more bad thing happening from her villian origin story. At least she... PROBABLY... has killed anyone yet. Note to self: when Danny can actually move torso again, buy Valerie soothing anti-stress...everything. All the things. She responds to stress by punching. Deliver from safe, non-punchable distance.
All in all? My Dash? Needs more Dash! Give the popular kids a chance to prove they aren't just cardboard cut outs! That they can grow beyond the roles high-school and society has pushed them into! Give them some trauma! Why only Danny? Spread the psychic damage!

Could you do fic for Toto Wolff with wife reader? Since it's Women's International Day, he and their son, Jack decided to surprise her with breakfast in bed, and just spending time together before going to the paddock. And be close to each other during the race. Just something fluff and cute. Maybe a little surprise at the end. You decide what it is. Thanks!! :)))
Days like these - Toto Wolff x Wife! Reader
Plot: Toto and your son decide to treat you after a hard day at the paddock with International Women’s Day as a reasons to be extra sweet to their lady.
A/N: im so so sorry this is much later than IWD but we can still use this to appreciate women all year round!
Credit to almostfantasy for the GIF
Tumblr media
You were currently in and out of sleep, you’d had a very busy day around the paddock yesterday with it being media day so today you’d woken up pretty exhausted especially after what you and Toto had got up to the night before.
Toto had whispered softly to you to go back to sleep, squeezing your plush bare hip before kissing your forehead and climbing out of bed to go deal with your guys’ son who was definitely awake and wanting attention by now.
You were thankful for the lay in, but after some clinks, clonks and clangs coming from the kitchen you decided to go see what all of the noisy fuss was about.
You pull on an old top of Toto’s, an Austrian football team shirt that clung against your stomach and hips in ways that made Toto go crazy and a pair of shorts before rounding it off with your fluffy dressing gown and slippers.
You slowly make your way down stairs sleepily holding the side of the bannister as you go down. The noises from the kitchen get louder and louder until your voice opens to over power it all.
“Honey? Munchkin” you ask spread apart seeing if your husband would reply to you first.
“Mama no, no Mama no!” Your son cries out seeing your and grabbing your hand trying to pull you away from whatever is going on in the kitchen.
“What is it pumpkin?!” You ask.
“Daddy said we were doing you breakfast in bed! Your not in bed, your ruining it! VATI! Mama isn’t in bed, bed now” he cries as if you’d committed some kind of crime right in front of the child’s eyes.
In his eyes you had.
“Oh your Mama isn’t in bed, we’ll have to get her back then” Toto grins before lifting your up, as easy as ever, and throwing your over his shoulder causing a groan to fall from your mouth.
“What on earth. Toto put me down!” You laugh, lightly hitting his lower back, where your hands could reach because of the angle you were being held at.
Your son followed the pair of you up the stairs you teasingly reaching out to grab him, missing only slightly as he’d back up each time giggling at his mothers antics.
Toto lightly places you on the bed once your back in the bedroom, taking the slippers off and pushing you further up the bed. He places your son up on the bed, holding him to look at him as he explains.
“Okay, Mama escaped so we have to tuck her back in so she can’t leave again!” Toto states, showing him how to tuck you back in properly making you stifle a laugh as they both get to work making sure the duvet is secured around you.
They both trot off, going back to whatever they were doing in the kitchen as you open your phone cruising through your work emails for the day and any of the messages. One from Lewis, one from George. Some from your colleagues… it was ending when you worked for Sky Sports as presenter and commentator for F1.
Eventually you hear your husbands voice directing your son to be careful coming up the stairs so he doesn’t spill anything.
As they enter the room your heart warms impossibly. Your son was holding a glass of orange juice, not daring to look up at you in fear of dropping it. You knew he wanted to be included and that was arguably the easiest thing Toto would let him carry up the stairs.
Toto smiles widely at you, placing the array or breakfast foods on the tray across your lap, making you grin. All of your favourites were here.
“What is all of this for?” You ask happily, taking the glass of juice from your son whose been patiently waiting for you.
“Well, we know you had a hard day at work yesterday and it’s of course international woman’s day and we wanted to celebrate that with our favourite woman. Right buddy?” Toto asks your son making him nod having been briefly explained to why they were doing this for you.
A smile broke out across your face, Toto pulled you in placing a delicate kiss on your lips before he’s interrupted by the whining of your little boy who was trying to make his way up onto the bed with you.
Toto lifts him up and he crawls his way over on your left side hugging right into your mum pillowing that he loved to constantly be against.
Your son was extremely clingy, especially when it came to you. He was for sure a mummy’s boy.
Toto slides in next to you. Wrapping an arm around your shoulder as he puts some cartoon on the tv opposite the bed to entertain your son.
You offer him some of your fruit to which he shakes his head saying that it was for you.
“I don’t mind baby, sharing with your is all I want to do” you grin and eventually accepts some of the mango, strawberry’s and bananas that were in the fruit bowl.
When you were looking he snuck a pancake away, a dead giveaway being the chocolate build up now around his mouth.
“You cheeky little monster!” You exclaimed as you grabbed some tissue to wipe around the mouth getting rid of the chocolate goodness that remained.
He giggles as your wipe around his mouth, trying to dodge you like a ninja.
Eventually your easy domestic morning had to come to and end. You and Toto both needed to be at the track today. You always travelled together since when you first started dating and that hadn’t ever changed you’d just added a member to the party. Another one soon to join, little did any of you know.
You all got ready trying to make a decent time to make your way over to Silverstone Circuit ready for a day full of FP1 and FP2. Toto was hoping for a bit more luck today as Mercedes hasn’t been doing great but with some upgrades brought in this weekend he was hopeful for Lewis and George to pull through now they had a car worth driving.
After today, this morning more like you felt more attached to Totos side than ever. Later that week, you’d find out it was your new pregnancy hormones that were making you feel so needy to be around him but for now you couldn’t put your finger on why you refused to leave the Mercedes garage when you weren’t needed around for the Sky Sports crew, or any interviews.
Sky Sports commentator - And here we have one of our very own, Y/N Y/L/N currently having some family time in the Mercedes garage with her husband Toto Wolff and their son. Just look at them all, such a picture right there
Sky Sports commentator- We should actually get her up here soon for an interview about the upgrades a lot of the teams have had for this weekend. One of the surprising teams to not have any being RedBull, potential hope for that gap to close?
They did eventually call you up away from your family.
You pulled him into a massive hug and kiss, not wanting to leave him and god until he pretty much forced you out of the garage and up to the commentary box where Crofty was waiting for you.
However Toto and your son didn’t stop for a second not to watch you on the big screen talk about the cars.
Your son squealed in delight every time you spoke and waved your hands about making the mechanics pause and laugh at the boy and talk to him about his mum. A topic the youngster was more than happy to chat their ear off about.
The whole weekend was great, you had some phenomenal interviews as their eas great racing to talk to all the drivers about and spending the weekend with Toto and your son just made the highlight of your weekend.
The race came around and you watched from the Mercedes garage holding onto Toto the whole time, watching as George and Lewis dominated the track successfully splitting up the Ferraris.
You ran off right as it ended knowing you’d be needed for the podium and post race interviews as soon as possible.
“Come back soon” he smiled at you pulling you into a long chaste kiss before letting you run off.
Toto knew one thing, regardless with what happened this year in Mercedes he was more than content with his life with your right now.

Embarrassing
Alexia Putellas x Reader
Masterlist
Summary: You and Alexia take advantage of the opportunity to be typical embarrassing moms.
Inspired by this video:
You were sitting watching your twelve year old son’s football game, when a shadow came over you, blocking the sun you had been happily enjoying. It was a beautiful day and you had gladly taken the opportunity to watch your son play while simultaneously working on your tan. You looked up only to see your wife who had made it just in time for the second half, greeting you with a smile.
“Hola, Bebita,” Alexia greeted you as she sat down beside you with a quick kiss on your cheek.
“You made it! I wasn’t sure if you would. Diego will be excited you got to see the whole second half.” Your son knew how busy Alexia was and understood that she couldn’t always be at everything, so the fact that she had made it to this would mean the world to him, even if his preteen self wasn’t always great at showing it. As you watched the second half start, you filled her in on how the game had been going. Diego had been playing well and his team was winning three goals to one. He had had one goal and one assist thus far, and would likely have even more, now motivated by seeing his other mom there. He always admired her. They had been playing football together since he was first able to stand up on his own. You knew how much it meant to him when she was there and could help him analyze his game afterwards. Being twelve, he wasn’t the best at showing his appreciation for his moms lately, but you knew it was there.
You leaned your head on her shoulder as she grabbed onto your hand, peacefully watching the rest of the game unfold. She loved moments like this, taking in the perfect little life the two of you had built together. Nothing made her happier than getting to sit with the woman she loved most, watching your son play the sport she loved most. Everything about it was perfect.
When the game wrapped up, all the parents started to gather nearby the bench, waiting for their kids to be done and ready to go home. As predicted, Diego scored again in the second half, further solidifying his team’s win. Alexia was excited to have been there to watch your son score and you knew he felt equally excited about it. You continued to make small talk with some of the other parents, when Diego and some of his friends made their way over to the group of you, bouncing around full of energy in spite of having played a full 90.
Diego made his way to you and Alexia, greeting you both with a side hug, “mom, I thought you were gonna be stuck at work today and couldn’t come?” he asked Alexia softly, curious as to how she had made it here.
“Me too, but I ended up convincing them to let me finish up another time so I could catch the second half. I knew you were excited about this one, so I wanted to make sure I could catch at least part of it.” You smiled as you watched your son looking up at her with a small smile as he realized how important this had been to her. You knew he was likely trying to contain his affection as he was still in front of his friends and wanted to continue his ‘cool guy’ persona like most twelve year olds would.
His friends broke him out of his little moment with Alexia as they gave him a small nudge, encouraging him to ask what they were all hoping for. Diego, taking one for the team, started to ask the group of parents if they could all have some money to walk to the nearby ice cream shop to celebrate their win. One of the other moms, whom you and Alexia had become friends with, offered to drive some of them if any of the parents didn’t want to deal with the hassle of having ice cream with a group of rowdy preteen boys. Diego looked up sheepishly as he started to explain that they meant they would go on their own, without the parents.
This time one of the dads chimed in, starting to tease the kids, “Oh I get it, we’re not cool enough to come have ice cream with you guys.” You noticed a few of the boys roll their eyes or let out a heavy sigh, knowing exactly where this was headed with all the parents starting to poke fun at them. Diego gave you and Alexia a serious look as if to say, ‘don’t even think about it’.
The first mom decided to keep up the teasing, “Are you too afraid that your parents will embarrass you if you get seen out with us now?” At this point all the parents were starting to chuckle and chime in with their own quips while your kids all wished they could disappear from their parents’ jokes.
“Hey I’m cool, I know all the latest teen things like- that game was so slay of you guys, dude,” the son of the dad who said this one immediately turned bright red, cowering with embarrassment, as more parents continued on.
You smirked looking at Alexia, knowing that she was likely coming up with something in her head. She couldn’t let this opportunity to tease your guys’ son go to waste. Diego seemed to notice your shared look with her as he started to shake his head slightly, almost as if to will her to stop whatever she was thinking. You all knew this would do him no good, as you both loved taking advantage of any moment to be typical embarrassing moms.
Finally she spoke up, contributing to the conversation, “Hey, if I’m so uncool, could I do this?” and then she started doing the one thing your son never expected to see her do- the griddy. You clasped your hand over your mouth trying to muffle your laughs as you watched your son blush harder than you knew possible. When Alexia was done you just put your arm around her shoulders as the two of you attempted to stop your giggles.
Luckily for your kids, that seemed to be the end of the teasing because no other parents were able to top that one. You all gave your kids some ice cream money, instructing them to call if they needed a ride home, and parted ways to head to your cars. You and Diego had carpooled with one of his friends as you knew Alexia was hoping to make it to the game so you could ride home with her. The two of you walked hand in hand to her car, both still smiling over your afternoon together.
Once you were settled in the car, you smiled over at her as she placed her hand on your leg. “You know, we’re lucky he didn’t just shrink up and disappear right on the spot for that dancing you did back there,” you smiled at her, showing just how much her little dance had entertained you.
“He could use it,” she responded, smiling back at you, “we can’t have him getting too cocky after all those goals.” You just laughed some more as she gave your leg an endearing squeeze. The two of you drove home in a peaceful silence, more content than ever over the lives you shared.

Big Brother | Alexia Putellas x Reader
how is this the first first Alexia fic I'm writing lol. based on this request Enjoy:)
“Mamá, we see Ingrid?” your four year old son asks as you put on his shoes.
You can’t help but laugh. He had a bit of a crush on the Norwegian much to Mapi’s displeasure since he wanted nothing to do with her. “Yes baby, she will be there.”
“Jana too?” He questions grabbing his tiny football off the bed beside him.
“All of the girl’s will be there Nico,” you tell him before he can go down the list of all his favorite Barça players.
The answer seems to satisfy his curiosity as you place him back on the floor and he begins to kick the ball around the room. You busy yourself picking out an appropriate outfit to cover your growing baby bump. You and Alexia had been having some trouble over the last year with trying to conceive. After several failed attempts you were both extremely happy to finally see the positive test results. You had kept the pregnancy from your friends out of fear and had just recently told your families now that you were well into your second trimester. You planned to begin telling everyone else in the coming weeks, as the bump was definitely getting harder to hide.
“Amor, are you ready?” Alexia’s smooth voice fills the room causing Nico to launch the ball in her direction. “Be careful, remember?” She asks calmly, catching the ball before it could do any damage.
“Lo siento mamá,” he tells you, coming to place a gentle kiss on your stomach.
Alexia lifts him in the air, inducing a fit of laughter as she tickles his sides, “go play in the living room until we leave.” Nico dashes out of the room with the ball at his feet.
“How do you feel mi vida?” Alexia asks, wrapping her arms around your waist.
“I feel good.”
“And my baby girl? She’s good?” She leans down, placing a few kisses on your growing stomach.
You run your fingers through her hair as she rises back up, “you don’t know that it’s a girl yet love.”
“No, I know that’s mi princesa in there. You just don’t want to admit it cause then you’ll have to get bumped to second place,” she teases, pulling you into a sweet kiss.
You immediately pull away when you feel Alexia try to deepen it, “nope, we have to go.”
“I can be quick cariño,” she says with her eyes roaming over your body.
“We both know that’s a lie,” you laugh, moving around the room to grab the last of your things. You can feel her eyes boring into you with each step you take. “Tonight, if you behave babe. Now come on before we are late.”
Alexia’s gaze softens when you turn back towards her, “beso,” she pouts from her spot. You give in as usual and connect your lips with hers, letting her deepen just enough to please her. “Come, you’re going to make us late.”
You roll your eyes, grabbing the hand she holds out for you and heading for the living room. Nico barrels into Alexia’s legs the moment he catches sight of her. “Alexia watch,” he says, moving to show her how many kick-ups he could attempt. Alexia groans at the habit he picked up of calling her by her name, but watches nonetheless. You on the other hand thought it was hilarious, anything football related and he would call her Alexia like he heard on the TV, but any other time it was mamà.
“Good, we will keep practicing. Now come on, we are going to be late.”
Alexia gathers everything you guys need and leads you both to the car. Mapi and Ingrid were hosting a team dinner party to celebrate the end of the season. And while you loved all the girls, team dinners were stressful. There were a lot of people, a lot of conversation, and an overly excited 4 year old you had to keep an eye on. This was the first one you would be going to pregnant and you weren’t necessarily looking forward to it, but Alexia assured you she’d keep everything in line. She rubs a soothing hand along your thigh as she drives and engages in an animated conversation with your son.
As you arrive, she helps you and Nico both out of the car before placing a kiss on the side of your head, “when you want to leave, we will.” That was your favorite thing about Alexia, the way she was always willing to put your needs above anything.
“Nico!” Mapi says excitedly as she opens the door with her arms spread wide to him. Without a care in the world Nico ducks under her arm and sprints off towards Ingrid who was making her way towards you, “one day the kid will realize I’m the cool one,” Mapi huffs.
Alexia chuckles sliding past Mapi’s still open arms just as Nico did. Having mercy on the defender you let her wrap you in a hug. “How are you Marìa?”
“You’ve always been my favorite Putellas,” she tells you.
Alexia rolls her eyes, grabbing your hand and leading you around the room to greet everyone. “Move,” she tells Patri from her spot on the couch.
“Qué?” Patri questions her captain's harsh tone with a wide smile.
You interject before Alexia can speak again, “Amor stop,” you whisper harshly at her attempt to have the girl give her seat up to you. Captain Alexia was very entitled and you hated that, always quick to try and order her teammates around even off the pitch. You drag her by the arm to the bathroom just as you see Nico plop down in Patri’s lap.
“What is wrong? Do you feel sick?” Alexia begins to check you over.
“Remember when I said ‘tonight if you behave?” Alexia nods with a smirk. “What you just did is not behaving. I’m perfectly capable of sitting in a chair.”
“But princesa likes the couch.”
“I’m serious Alexia, no more.” She crosses her arms across her chest with a glare, and you’ve never been more sure your son was her twin, even if she didn’t push him out. You kiss away her frown and head back to the party.
Much to Alexia’s amusement Patri and several others have vacated their spot on the couch when you arrive back. “Alexia come play,” Nico shouts, as she places you on the couch.
“Yeah Alexia go play,” Mapi teases, flopping down beside you. Alexia looks at you as if she’s seeking approval and you give her a nod sending her on her way. “She’s so whipped it’s disgusting.”
You don’t even mention the fact that she’s just as whipped for Ingrid. Mapi keeps you company for a while before feeling left out that she wasn’t asked to play. Tonight was going a lot smoother than you expected. Alexia made sure to run behind Nico and ensure he wasn’t bothering anyone for too long and she’d check in on you every so often, placing a single kiss on your forehead.
“Hey, congrats (y/n),” Marta tells you as she passes by. You thank her, finding it a bit weird as she was not the first to say it, but Alexia loved to brag on you. You figured she had told them about the new client you had been working hard to land at work.
It’s when everyone finally gathers around the large table for dinner you find out the real reason. Nico insisted on sitting by Lucy, claiming they had to as they were best friends. After she ensured you it was fine you let him stay beside her and took your spot by Alexia. Halfway through the meal you freeze as Lucy shouts, “YOU'RE PREGNANT?”
“What?” you ask, startled at the claim.
Alexia goes to stand up and go full-on protective mode when Nico speaks up, “Yep, I’m a big brother!”
“He told me first,” Ingrid says, making the boy blush.
You and Alexia share a glance before letting out a laugh. Maybe it wasn’t the smartest decision to tell him before you let the girls know.
“Well cats out the bag I guess,” you sigh.

“Mama?”
Theodore looked up at you, rubbing the sleep away from his eyes as he let out a small yawn. You let out a small ‘coo’ as you ran your fingers through his hair and placing his bowl down in front on him. His younger sister, Hazel, was giggling to herself as she smashed her cut up fruit all over her highchair.
“Yes baby?”
“Where’s mummy? I wanna watch Bluey with her?”
It was no secret that the last few months have been pretty hectic for your growing family. Sam helping Chelsea win the FA Women’s cup and then moving straight onto getting for the World Cup. During all that madness Theo had celebrated his fourth birthday and you had found out your were expecting yours and Sam’s third child.
With all that, Theo had started to notice that Sam wasn’t around as much but still didn’t quite grasp why. Sam was currently at training getting ready for their game against Denmark. After being put on the bench due to her calf playing up, Sam had made it her mission to enure she would be back on that field as fast a possible and as much as you knew how important this World Cup was for her and the team, you couldn’t help but feel sad. Your children were missing out on spending time with their mummy and you were missing out on spending time with your wife.
“She’s at training baby, but we’re gonna go watch her play tonight with Nana!” You let excitement fill your voice, knowing that the uplifting tone would get him more excited for tonight.
“With Aunty Cat-Cat?” A smile fills your lips, as you run your fingers through his hair once again before placing a kiss on the top of his forehead. “Yeah baby, Aunty Cailtin will be there too!”
It was no secret that Sam was his favourite person in the whole wide world, from the second he could kick in your womb, it was very clear that Sam was his person. Her adore everything she did, whether it was kick game-winning goals or flip pancakes in the morning - Theo didn’t care, she could do no wrong. The pair were two peas in a pod, Theo demanding that Sam teach him anything and everything about football (which, of course she loved).
Although Sam was his everything, there was one other person on this planet that Theo loved almost as much, your sister, Miss Caitlin Foord. Whether it was the football or the fact that she spoils him rotten anytime she’s around he loved her.
“Can they come over now mama? I just wanna watch one show” His small voice breaks your heart a little, his plead with those big brown eyes starring up at you. A small frown appears on your face, as you shake your head “I’m sorry baby, they’re busy at the moment but we can still watch it together?”
He lets out a small okay, as he takes a few bites of cereal. Hazel let out a squeal as she continued to bang on the highchair, your attention turning away from Theo and onto her.
“Oh my goodness! Look at my messy baby” Hazel giggles even louder as you make your way over to her - wiping off the fruit and picking her out of her highchair. A small grunt leaving your lips - your pregnant belly making it difficult for you to hold onto her.
“Mama be careful!” Theo jumping down from his chair and running towards you - his arms up, ready to take Hazel out of your arms. “It’s okay baby, I got this”. You made your way, slowly, to the living room - Theo watching your every move (just like his mother).
You placed Hazel in her play pen, before settling yourself down on the couch next to your son.
“How bout we watch some bluey together? Would that be okay?” You watched Theo think about it for a few seconds, his eyebrows frowning for a second before he nods his head. “Okay mama, we do that”
You let out a small laugh as you pull him closer to you and place another kiss on his forehead. Bringing the blanket from next to you over both your bodies, Theo got himself comfortable around your bump - his little hand placed right where Sam would normally have it. The sound of the Bluey intro was enough to pull his attention away as you pulled out your phone - clicking on Sam’s contact.
yn; hey baby, you busy?
You bring your attention over to Hazel for a few seconds, would was happily playing in her pen with all the toys your mum and sisters had spoilt her with when you had arrived back in Australia.
The buzz of your phone takes your attention away.
sam; having a break for some food
sam; i got about 15 minutes
yn; hows your calf?
sam; much better
sam; the physio did wonders on it
sam; reckon i could be playing tonight
yn: that’s so good baby!
yn: we’ll be in the crowd cheering you on
sam; my favourite thing in the world
sam; did you see what i left out for you to wear tonight?
yn: the jersey with foord on it?
sam; funny.
sam; last i remember the ring on your finger means youre a kerr now
yn: i love you mrs kerr
sam; that what i thought
yn: you nervous ?
sam; a little
sam; i wanna do right by the team
sam; and i feel like i’ve let everyone down the past couple of games
yn: you haven’t baby
yn: I promise
sam; how’s the kids going? Not giving you trouble are they?
yn: nah
yn: they’re being good
yn: Theo is missing you lots though
yn: he wanted to watch bluey with you
sam; my poor little man
sam; give me a second and i’ll call
yn: okay, i love you
sam; i love you too
You turned your attention back to the screen, the intro of a new episode was playing, Theo’s attention glued onto his favourite show. The intro hadn’t even finished before your phone started ringing, Sam’s name flashing across the screen.
“Baby look! It’s mummy!” Theo’s face lit up, the phone leaving your grip in an instant.
“Hi Mummy!” Theo squealed, his body jumping up and down with excitement. The loud squeals were enough to set Hazel off, wanting to be apart of whatever she felt she was missing out on. You triple check that Theo was okay on the couch before getting yourself off the couch.
“Hi Baby! Whatcha doing?” You hear Sam’s voice follow through the speakers as Hazel claps her hands and looks up at you. Picking her up once again, a small grunt leaving your lips brings the attention of both your wife and first child.
“Mama!”
“Love?”
“I’m okay!” you assure them both as you bring you and Hazel back to the couch, your daughter squealing once again once she sees Sam on the phone.
“What are you guys doing?” Sam asks once again, both kids attention completely on the phone screen.
“Watching Bluey with mama” Sam lets out a small chuckle, as you shake your head in the background. You and Sam had seen every single bluey episode there was. It being a fan favourite in your household (and the main attraction for the 24 hour plane trip from London to Sydney).
“That sounds fun! Have you been looking after our girls for me bubs?” Theo nodded his head, with a very serious look on his face. Your heart beating just that little bit faster. Sam was very protective over her family, which your son had noticed and of course copied.
“Of course mummy! I even helped mummy get Hazel ready”
You nodded your head in agreement, as you placed a kiss on the back of his head before adding “He did. Such a good big boy aren’t you baby”.
You catch the sound of Sam’s teammates in the background, already knowing that Sam would need to say her goodbyes soon enough. Looking down into your arms, Hazel was fast asleep.
“Are you coming home soon?” His little voice breaks both yours and Sam’s hearts, knowing this wasn’t going to end well.
“I’m sorry baby, i’m at training getting ready for tonight’s game” You could see Theo’s shoulders drop in disappointment, Sam noticing as well. “But! But baby, you and mama and Hazel are coming to watch us tonight so i’ll get to see you really really soon at the stadium. How does that sound huh?”
You could see that Theo was torn between his emotions, the noise of the matidlas getting louder and you could see Sam watching Theo - waiting for his response. “We watch bluey together tomorrow?” He shyly asks, looking between you and the phone.
“Of course baby! We can watch Bluey all day long tomorrow, but only if your promise to look after mama for me tonight and cheer for us!”
Yet again, Theo nodded his head with purpose, these new ‘comands’ practically written in stone for your son. “I will mummy, I’ll cheer the loudest”
“I know you will baby, but look. I need to go back to training but I can’t wait to see you tonight okay. I love you so much”
“I love you mummy”
“Love you Sam” you add on, as she blows you both a kiss before the call disconnects.
Theo waits a few seocnds after the call to end before turning his body towards yours “Mama”
“Yes baby”
“Can we wait Bluey until we go watch mummy play”
This was going to be a long day.

MY WHOLE LIFE pt. 1 ✫ mason mount
part 1, part 2, final part.
Tumblr media
in which you have a fat crush on your brother’s best friend, without getting much success. (brother’s best friends troop).
CONTAINS: brother’s best friend troop, angst & fluff ! age gap, arguments...
AUTHOR'S NOTE: this is my first work here but anyways i hope you guys like it ! maybe I'll do a part 2...
Tumblr media
You watch proudly in his shirt as you clap in the game's first minutes, chanting while taking pictures of him.
The first half was pretty equal, with some shots from both teams but neither could score. You could see that Mason was getting nervous. He stopped his movements abruptly when the referee called for a corner and looked at the crowd, his eyes sparkling with tenseness.
He gazed down at where his family (and therefore also yours) was and licked his lips. You couldn't help but wonder what would your brother think of your little —huge— crush on his childhood best friend.
In the 34th minute, he passed the defenders and tried to score with a pass from Ben Chilwell, making the goalkeeper lose his balance and thus scoring.
You celebrated the goal screaming it to your brother's face and he couldn’t help but smile at you, happy that you were having a good time. Your cheeks were red after Mason approached the stands and celebrated the goal, dedicating a kiss to where you were.
And that was the effect that Mason Mount had on people, especially you.
Mason was your brother's best friend, you had known him for years. It was a stupid crush that all your friends grew out of but not you. You had to keep drooling every time he was near you, that being almost every day because your brother had him over to dinner nearly every night.
You remember the day the Mount family moved next to your house, a loud and proud British family— Debbie and Tony, Stacey, Lewis and Mason. The day after they had moved in, Debbie and Tony turned up outside your door, asking if your older brother was interested in playing football with Mason.
It didn’t take long for your brother to become close to Mason, both at the cusp of boyhood. Their friendship only bloomed from there.
After spending almost every weekend watching your brother and Mason training, to spending most afternoons around the Mount house playing, you felt like family.
You always found yourself drawn to the boy next door although he was away a lot of the time, playing different matches and training. Mason’s natural affinity and talent for the game, ensured the quality of his skills.
He was slightly older so no doubt he found you childish and would always moan when his parents made him spend time with you.
—Mom, not again! I don't want to play with her, she's boring! —Mason exclaimed with an expression of obvious annoyance on his face.
Mason's mother was the first to figure out your crush on the boy. She first noticed it when you joined the Mounts at a family dinner when you were around thirteen.
Both families were playing football, as usual, while the adults were preparing supper. When you had the ball you felt your body lean way too far back and Mason tried to act on impulse, stretching his body to catch you in time.
—Hold on to me! —Mason exclaimed, extending his arms towards you. However, the weight of the fall was too much, and in an instant, they were both on the grass, in some sort of mess.
—Mase, God, I'm so sorry! I dragged you with me! —you apologized, feeling the blood rise to your cheeks, turning them crimson red.
He brushed the grass off his jacket with an angry expression. —Well done. First minutes into the game and you're already annoying.
—Thanks for trying! —you laughed, shyly. When there was a long silence, you realized that Mason was not joking and was serious. —Sorry, I…
Debbie looked from afar at the little girl carefully while she kept her eyes glued to her son's. She watched her cute little cheeks tinted red as Mason scoffed and begged you to stay away from him.
Debbie would soon get used to it as she watched you fall in love with her son over the next few years.
Until your first boyfriend. An age difference of three years was not a big deal since it was a common factor among your friend's partners. You had recently turned sixteen years old and you thought that you had met the boy who could take you out of the charm that had her wrapped around Mase.
Lyon was older, he was eighteen years old, like Mason. You had met him at school on a spring afternoon. You walked through the school hallways, books clutched to your chest. A gust of wind caused some of the books to fly out of your hands, scattering them across the hallway floor.
Lyon was passing by and noticed the scene. He approached you with a smile and that is how the story started.
Your brother didn't approve of your new boyfriend. He knew that her sister just wanted to show his best friend that the age difference wasn't that important.
Being with Lyon was great at first. You knew that he was not the love of your life, but for the moment he seemed to play the role quite well, so that was fine with you. It was a Friday night and you and your brother were at a party at the house of one of your brother's friends.
You were downstairs in the kitchen while your friends watched you drink alcohol like there was no tomorrow. They realized something was bothering you, but decided not to mention it.
—Where is the lover boy anyway? —Spoke one of your friends.
Your lack of response was when they realized that Lyon was the reason for the sadness that was painted on their best friend's face. He abandoned you, once again. This seems routine, they thought.
You slammed your empty red glass against the kitchen counter, wiping the drip from your chin as you decided that was enough.
—I'll go look for him.
From the corner of the room, your brother wished you good luck and with courage, you stumbled through the party. The house was huge. Enormous windows covered the entire house. From the kitchen window you could see the river of lights going down to the beach.
And there he sat, on the stairs leading to the illuminated outdoor pool, Lyon. A thin blonde girl was sitting on his lap, probably older than you. She took the cigarette from Lyon's lips and placed it on top of her painted red lips.
Tears welled in your eyes as you returned to the house with your heels in hand. With all the bad luck in the world, as you returned, you heard in the background:
—Baby, relax. —You ignored your boyfriend's call as you made your way through the crowd to return to the kitchen, hoping that your brother was still there.
You made it to the kitchen before your boyfriend grabbed you by the back of your arm and pushed you against the kitchen island.
—Come on, I didn't even do anything—
—She was on your lap.
—It's not that serious, okay?—
—It's a big problem! I'm humiliated! —You shouted back, creating a scene you desperately wanted to avoid. Lyon's grip tightened around your arm as he tried to wriggle out of your grasp.
—Let go of me, you're hurting me. —That only made his grip tighten around your arms.
—Let her go, mate. —Your vision was too blurry to focus on what happened next, but you felt Lyon back away.
—Oh yeah?… and what are you going to do about it, Mount? —That's when the punches were thrown and Lyon was left hunched over holding his split lip. Your now ex-boyfriend was grabbed by someone else before he could lunge at who you assumed was your brother, but when you turned your head you saw Mason shaking your hand out of pain.
His knuckles were red and his eyes were darker than what you were used to.
—Let's go to the car. —Said Mason, you nodding your head. —Get in the car. —He said. His tone was strong, not what she was used to.
Still, the ride to your house was silent, you sitting in the front with Mase, while your brother passed out in the back seat. Faint English music played on the radio as Mason's eyes were firmly fixed on the road.
Mason finally spoke. —You really don't know how to choose them, don’t you? — You could only sob again, unable to answer him mainly because he was right and you were ashamed. When the car stopped, he unbuckled his seat belt and murmured that he would walk you to your door.
Mase rocked on his heels as he watched the moonlight highlight the tear-stained cheeks of his best friend's sister. He thought you looked beautiful that night even though you had been crying for the last half hour, your hair hadn't been brushed, and you were digging through your purse like crazy.
Although he would never admit it.
—I got them! —You laughed, waving your keys in the air before bumping your nose with the keychain. You paused as you pushed the key into the door, turning to look Mason in the eye for the first time since the party.
—Thank you. —Mason didn't want to hear it. You were just her best friend’s sister.
—It's no big deal. —
—No… really thank you, Mason. —you smiled and Mason listened too, mainly because it was probably the first time you had called him Mason and not Mase.
After a moment, you dropped your bag to the floor and wrapped your arms around the boy's waist, your head resting on his chest as he quickly moved his hand and rubbed your back.
—Just... make sure the next one isn't a complete idiot, yeah? —he whispered, his chin resting on the top of your head.
That sentence broke your poor little heart.

My darkest nights (P. GAVI)
summary: Gavi not just loses his ability to play football because of his injury, but he is losing himself, and you.
(2.1k words)
Masterlist
Tumblr media
----------------------------------------------------
You've been together for a long time, but most of it was long distance because you two lived in different countries.
Somehow, you managed to work it out together. Of course that you guys missed eachother a lot, but you never gave up.
When you finished high school in your country and moved to Barcelona to start college, you thought that your difficult period had come to an end, but you were so wrong.
At first, it was kinda hard to live with Gavi because you had different schedules of everything, but it wasn't that much of a problem.
The problem itself came when he got injured.
You were so angry with the Spanish National Team that they had to play Gavi that game. You didn't understand their intentions, but you knew that at this times, your boyfriend needed you besides him.
It was really hard to see the boy giving up slowly. You tried to remind him every day that he would come back stronger and that he was not alone.
But who can you blame? He was the one who was suffering physically and mentally. He was the one in pain and words couldn't solve anything.
His family came quickly to Barcelona right after the night everything happened. His sister, Aurora, was trying to comfort the boy while hugging him tight.
His mother made him some food, but he was in no mood for eating.
After a father-son talk, they came to an agreement that his family would stay with him in Barcelona to help him, especially the first few days/ weeks.
Pablo really appreciated all the support he got from everyone, but he was afraid that he would hurt someone because of his sudden change mood. And that's what exactly happened to him.
He had to have his surgery right after a few days before he got injured, and the boy was really, really scared.
Every day he would tell you a lot of what ifs.
What if the surgery goes wrong?
What if he can never ever play football again?
What if Barcelona will send him off the first team?
Only and only what ifs.
You understood his concern about those things. After all football and Barcelona were his life. He lived for them.
In your case now, Pablo was more important than your ever dream career. You knew that you had to priority both, but right now, your all attention was on your boyfriend.
Even right after your first day together, he told you that football and his family were the most important things for him.
You understood that before you dated. You could never be on the top of his priorities. But you loved him too much to just let it go.
On his side of the story, he loved you a lot. You were his first serious relationship (not that he was too old), and you started to become his family as well. He just never got the chance to tell you that.
The night before his surgery, he was sleeping on your chest while you were still awake.
You knew that this was the first step to his recovery and mostly the most important one. Everything could go wrong.
He wasn't the only one who was nervous. Everyone around him was.
______________
A few days after it, you were back on your normal life. You were going to college, while Gavi was having recovery sessions.
His father was the one who stayed by his side the most. He would use to drive him to his recovery sessions and back home. He would also use to stay with him for hours, wanting to know if the boy needs something.
You were the one who was helping him go to the bathroom.
You often helped him shower.
You were also the one that was making the food in the house, and you had to be really careful about the diet he was having.
Most of the time, he would refuse to eat and that made you really sad. You gave all your energy to make food, clean the house and help him go somewhere in the house, especially when his family wasn't staying over.
You also had to go to college, learn your mind out, to do the shopping in the house. You were just so, but so tired.
After a few days, the boy started to become more cold with you.
You weren't sleeping together anymore, because he needed more space and you rarely talked.
He was so done with himself, crying every night.
"Hi, love."
You entered his room to bring him some water for him to drink. His doctor told you that he needed to drink a lot of it because it helps him recover faster.
After 30 minutes, you came again to his room to give him some medical tee.
After 1 hour, you came again to give him some water to take his pills.
He was starting to get mad every time you came into his room.
"Can you help me please go to the bathroom?"
This was one of the moments he hated. It hurt him so much whenever he had to go somewhere. It felt like his knee was broking apart, and you, not having a lot of strength, he kinda had to step by himself.
After some time, you came back again to give him some water because he had to be super hydrated. In your other hand, you also had some meat for him to eat.
He rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"I think it's enough water, y/n."
"I know it's way more than you normally drink, but the doctor told me to keep giving you water for you to stay hydrated. It's not that I want it."
"Well I know better."
"Well, stop being stubborn and drink it."
"Can't you just leave me alone? I want to rest ."
"I'll let you rest after you have this."
"You are annoying me, y/n!"
That hurt you.
"Ok, well, I'm sorry that I care about you and want you to get better!?"
"Then, if you care about me, just leave me alone? Why is that so hard for you?"
You were so out of words at this time. You handed him the water and left the room.
Maybe he was tired.
------------------------
His family came again to visit, but you weren't home.
They made him so food that he somehow ate.
"Como esta y/n?"
His mother always adored you.
"Está bien ."
Pablo shortly answered.
"Está en la universidad? La pobre chica está lidiando con todo el estrés que hay allí?" (Is she at college? Does the poor girl manage well the stress from there?)
"Supongo" (I guess)
The woman looked strange at her son. Usually he speaks so highly of you.
"Está pasando algo entre ustedes dos?" (Is something happening between you two?)
Pablo remained silent.
"Dime, Gavira. Que pasa!?"
"Nada esta pasando. Ya no hablamos mucho y eso es todo lo que quiero decir!" (nothing is happening. We don't talk much anymore and that's all I want to say)
He really cared about your privacy, and he didn't want to say something that he would regret to his family, so he decided not to speak more about you.
He really missed you. The days that you were having together your cuddles, your touch, everything.
But he was so tired to ask for you. He just didn't have the energy for it.
You came home late because you had to stay more at the college. These days you missed a lot and you didn't want to pass to disappoint your parents.
You came home late just to see Pablo waiting for you.
"My family came over" he told you. "They're sleeping now where you used to sleep this days-"
"It's ok, I sleep on the couch."
"No-"
"Yes."
He sighed.
"Can we please-" he began, but you interrupted him.
"Do you need anything? I am really tired and I want to sleep."
"How was your day?"
"A long one. Now for real, Gavi, do you need anything?"
"You. Please."
You just stood there in silence. Your eyes were starting to water. You missed him a lot.
"Please, y/n."
He opened his arms for you and you hugged him back.
"I'm really sorry. I don't understand myself either."
You didn't want to say that it was ok, because it was not, so you remained silent and accepted his apology.
He kissed your forehead, and for the first time in your life, you saw him cry.
You looked at him with a sad face, knowing what he'll say.
"Just say it, Pablo."
He sobs hard while crying even more. You just hope at this time that his parents don't hear you.
"Do you think we are better off eachother?"
You sighed and get off of his arms.
"Answer me."
"What do you want me to say? Everything can be against me, Pablo! If I say yes, then you will say 'but we just don't get alone anymore' and if I say no you'll say 'so I'm not the only one that things that'! It's all against me. Now the question is 'what do you want me to say?' Huh?"
He looks down.
"I am not ready for a relationship, y/n."
"And you decide to tell me this after we've been together for almost a year! So nice of you, man!"
"Yes, but we've long-distance."
You rolled you eyes.
"Then why 5 minutes ago you tell me that all you want is me!?"
He doesn't say anything.
"Todo bien aqui- oh, y/n-"
"Hi, Aurora."
"Are you guys ok? You've been shouting at eachother for a long time now."
"Nothing is happening, I'll just go."
"Where are you going?"
"Not your business anymore, Gavi."
You shot the door behind you while leaving the house.
"Espera espera espera. Que hiciste?" (Wait, what did you do?!
Aurora asked her brother.
"Hice lo que tenía que hacer" (I did what I had to do)
"Que? Romper con ella? (What? To break up with her?)
Pablo starts to tear up.
"Hermano.."
She hugs him while he cries.
"Rora, tenía que hacerlo. Me porté muy mal con ella y no la merezco. No dormía por las noches para estudiar y cuidarme. No quiero mantenerlo en su lugar." (Rora, I had to do it. I behaved very badly with her and I don't deserve her. She didn't sleep nights to study and take care of me. I don't want to keep her in place.)
"Pablo.."
The boy cried and cried and cried that night.
He was holding you back. You got into your dream university in Barcelona. You were so close to achieving your dream.
But in the last few days, you just took care of him while he didn't even appreciate it.
He knew that he'll miss you terribly, but if he couldn't play football anymore, at least he wanted you to achieve something in life.
---------------------
The next day, when his father had to take him to one of his recovery sessions, he asked his son about you.
Pablo didn't want to answer. All he could think about was you and only you. Being asked about your absence didn't help him at all.
Seeing that the boy didn't want to speak, he realised that your relationship had ended. It also hurt him. First of all, because you were an amazing girl for his son, and second of all, because Pablo was miserable and he really needed you, especially in this times.
When he got to his training, people also asked him about you. Everyone adored you, and that didn't help him at all.
He just didn't reply, sending suspicious rumors.
The exact same day, Gavi cut his hair.
It was all over the Internet, and you, as a normal person, saw his story.
You weren't surprised by his action. He always wanted to change something when he was feeling really bad. That's the moment you realised that Gavi really, really needed you in his life.
You called Aurora. She, as a desperate sister, told you everything her brother told her. You realised that it wasn't because he didn't love you anymore, but because he wanted a better real for you.
But since the beginning, the most important thing for you was him, and then your career. Not that you can be proud because of it, but you just felt like he is the most important thing for you. He was your family.
Right after your schedule was over, because you couldn't just skip college, you ran to his house.
His parents and sister left the house for the night so that you could talk properly.
You opened the door to see him watch in his room a live Barca game.
When he saw you, he immediately silent the TV to look at you without distractions.
"Hi" you softly said.
"Hi..". he replied with a smile on his face.
The boy was really confused.
"Can I come in?"
"Yes, yes." he said in a whisper.
Pablo was looking at you like you were the only human on planet. And you loved that.
"How's your knee?"
He looked at it before looking at you again.
"The same."
You sat on his bed right next to him.
After some silence, you put your hand on his injury area and he took your hand in his.
"Look, Gavi. I didn't take care of you because that was the right thing to do as a girlfriend. I didn't stay awake at night because I felt like I was forced to do it. I did it because I love you.."
He sadly smiled. He loves it when you tell him that you love him.
"Where have you been?" he asked concern.
"I stayed at the special university rooms."
"Was it ok? Like right conditions and everything-"
"Yes, Gavi."
He smiled a little before asking you why you're here.
You looked at him with sad eyes.
"I just.. I think I hoped to hear you say that you want me back and that-"
"I want you back."
You stopped.
"I want you in my life, y/n, but you deserve way more-"
"Gavi, I love you! "
He sobbed, about to cry.
"I love you and I want to be besides you. At your best and at your worst!"
He then kissed you after a very, very long time.
You got on his lap, careful not to hurt his leg.
You started to move on him, and he whimpered softly in your ear.
You wanted to undress him, but he stopped you.
"It's been way too long for you, love. And being on top will hurt you more and I don't want that."
You smiled.. he cared about you so much.
You kissed his cheek while getting off his lap.
"I promise that when I will be able to do it, I will make love to you. But now I can't."
"So you want me back for real now?"
He smiled shyly.
"Sabes la respuesta a eso.."

Maybe the group are upset they weren’t their for the wedding so they ask the reader and Bucky to have another one, renewing vows so they call all be there.
Plus the uncle and aunts playing with the baby. Babies first show of super grip.
More babies. How happy Bucky is when she is pregnant again. Maybe twins and they name them after the group; like have a girl so call her Samantha for Sam and a boy who is Nathaniel/Niklaus for nat.
Would love to see Tony as baby 2s godfather. Could totally see him “competing” against Steve. Look I got my Godkid this and that more than steve gave his. Not that it matters as tony fits for best uncle title so he gives everything to baby Stevie anyway :). Etc. Love your writing can’t wait to read your next fic. Anyway How are you? Hope you are well. How do you come up with stories?
YES YES One of my FAVOURITE AUs which I love to keep adding too. I've broken up this ask into parts here:
Wait, what? - 💔🥰 The secret you’ve been keeping from the team can only be hidden for so long (pregnant reader)
Wait, what? 2 -  🔥💔🥰 A little more back story + baby Barnes! (pregnant reader)
I do (again) Wait, what? 3 -  🥰 Everyone missed the first wedding, obviously you have to have another one
Wait, what? More Babies? -  🔥🥰 The family grows with a little new addition
Here is a little drabble with the aunts and uncles being complete menaces because they compete with each other. You shook your head looking at the growing pile of gadgets and toys collecting everywhere. There wasn't a single place where there wasn't a new present from either and aunt or an uncle, your kids spoilt beyond reason.
"Mama look!" Stevie ran into your room with a new shield in hand, proudly showing off the new technology it had been upgraded with from when he first got it. He whistled, grinning when the shield started to rumble before the plates shifted, expanding it to double the size. He had on a special type of watch fitted to his wrist and you couldn't even begin to comprehend what that would lead to.
"Baby, where do we keep all this?"
"In my room!" He scrambled off without looking back, only to have his presence replaced by the twins, each floating into the room with glowing red capes.
"What on earth are you to doing?" You knew better than to try and intervene with whatever it was they were doing, Samantha and Nathaniel giggling while sipping in circles from their latest gift from Aunty Wanda.
"Aunty Wanda charmed it for us!" They squealed, the tiny rocket booster running shoes they had been given from Tony boosting them to the ceiling.
"Get down from there!" You hissed, making your way to the living room to ask each God parent if they were trying to take years away from your life through stress.
"Did you see what I got for the tiny terminators" Tony grinned at Steve, hearing sound of laugher down the hall followed by your exasperated voice. He chuckled when he saw you disheveled form with each twin under your arm, clutching onto them like footballs to keep them from flying off.
"Best. God Father. EVER" Nathaniel grinned while Samantha nodded, trying to squirm from your hold.
"Steve jr got an upgrade too" Steve stated proudly, seeing his god son using his shield to surf down the staircase, causing you to drop one twin and catch your elder son before he face planted onto the floor.
"For F-" You caught yourself before finishing your sentence, both men snickering while you huffed, "I swear, wait till daddy is home" You placed your kids in a pile between their God fathers before going up to take a well deserved bath.
Bucky snorted at the sound of chaos that he heard as he made his way from the gym to your shared bedroom. He didn't want to set food into the living room when his demon spawn and Satan's love child god fathers were together, making his way straight to you instead.
"How are you mama" Bucky whispered softly, seeing the bathroom door left lightly ajar, the scent of lavender filling the room.
"Your children are spoiled Barnes" You peeked one eye open before closing it again, humming when you felt Bucky step into the tub, settling himself behind you.
"And who is spoiling mama?" He smirked, letting a sneaky hand trail down between your legs, kissing the sensitive skin on your neck, "Hm?"
A snap of his fingers was all that was needed to lock the doors and sound proof the walls. He'd already shot a text to Steve before coming to your room.
"You're both babysitting. Code XXX" (and Steve 1000% blushed like mad though Tony cackled and decided to set up a bet on if tonight would make another baby Barnes)
It was going to be a loooong night.

Turbulence…it can mean anything from a few little bumps to a catastrophic weather system that could knock your flying tin can right out of the air. In Surgery they call it a complication, the surgeons hit a snag, a bump in the road. Turbulence.
In your marriage, you called it Separation. One of the most unpredictable things about encountering turbulence is its aftermath. Everything’s been shaken up, undone, turned on its head. So you ask yourself time and time again, if you had the choice to avoid the plane crash, the turbulence altogether, would you take it? Would you play it safe and cancel the flight? Or would you get onboard and take your chances.
“Dad!” Little Lucy Seresin was just the spitting image of you and your grandmother. She was every bit you except for those big emerald green eyes. “Dad—!” You could see Jake making his way towards you and your three children through the crowd, all standing around your legs waiting for their father. The one who gave all three of your children those piercing emerald eyes that held what seemed like all the secrets in the universe. “Mum! Dads here! Dads here!”
“I see him sweetheart, there’s daddy.” You replied to your six year old, who, before you even had a chance to stop the only daughter of Jake Seresin, took off running across the crowded airport welcoming area towards her dad. You knew it had been far too long since Jake had been able to see his children, but you also knew it wasn't entirely his fault. The Navy was unpredictable as it was reliable.
“Hiya Lulu!” Jake smiled as wild as he could as he dropped to his knee to embrace the six year old human he’d helped create. “Oh I missed you sweetheart.” That much was true, Jake Seresin missed his kids every day that passed him by. You watched on with six year old Lennox by your side and two year old Samuel on your hip as Jake picked his daughter up and carried her back over to where you stood patiently waiting. “Lenny, how you going man?” Jake beamed as he tousled his eldest son's hair. “Far out kid, you shoot up any more and you’ll be taller than your mother.” You smiled at the dig unintentionally, before you knew you were smiling Jake had seen the corners of your lips turn upright into an unmissable smile.
“Mums says I’m growing like an inch a day because I eat all my green beans at dinner.” Jake took a moment to place Lucy back on solid ground before he came up back up to meet your gaze. It had been a few weeks since you had called Jake about your Christmas plans. He still wasn’t sure how to feel about them, deep down he wanted to tell you not to go. Deep down he was screaming at the top of his lungs for you to give him another chance, to come with him and the kids to his mothers for Christmas. But Jake knew better than to make a scene in front of the kids. But that didn't mean he couldn't be petty when he wanted to be just to get a rise out of you.
“Is that so?” Jake beamed that signature Seresin grin you’d fallen for back in college when he was captain of the football team and you were just that meek library dweller. He made you feel so much more than just the shy history buff you’d been back then, Jake Seresin had taught you a lot of things about yourself in the time you’d been his best friend and wife, now ex. Nowadays however you often caught yourself wondering if he’d miss you if you didn’t make it through the battle you were facing. The battle you hadn’t told anyone about except your mum. The battle that took all your strength to keep a secret close to your chest. The battle that was draining you or all your strength and energy. The battle that late at night you wish you could just end early.
Stage three A, triple positive grade three invasive doctoral carcinoma. Triple positive meaning that your specific cancer fed off oestrogen, progesterone and HER2 hormones. Lucky you right? Your first lumpectomy went rather well, but you were facing twelve weeks of chemotherapy treatment. Three oral tablets daily and two full days of IV sessions a week.
However, you were taking measures into your own hands as of tomorrow and were scheduled to be back in hospital for double mastectomy. You didn't want to wait and see if the cancer would spread and wanted every single bit out. But Jake was none the wiser about your medical status and assumed that you were off to Canada with friends for a white Christmas in Banff Alberta.
“Well—“ Jake carefully took little two year old Sammy from your grasp and placed his tied sleeping self on his own jean clad hip. “Mums are always right.” Jake quickly followed up as he looked down at Lenny. “There’s gonna be a ton of green beans at Grandma's house so you might overtake her quicker than anticipated buddy.” Jake gave the youngest of the three Seresin siblings a kiss on the cheek before he fully turned his attention to you. “Hey Hon—“ The way Jake stopped himself from finishing his sentence made your heart sink into the pit in your stomach. “Y/n, hey Y/n.” He corrected himself quickly as he picked up his duffel bag from the ground next to where he stood before you. “You look well.”
Oh if only Jake truly knew what you had to do in order to look well. The countless hours you spent throwing your guts up in the middle of the night. The sleepless nights that turned into days. The loss of appetite that had you dropping weight faster than you could blink. Your diagnosis had been quick but your symptoms had been even quicker to take over your daily life.  You kicked yourself every day for not getting yourself to a doctor sooner.
“Yeah, I’ve been doing alright—“ Things used to be so easy with Jake, now he was standing here before you in the middle of the airport bustling with people going to and from for the holiday season and you swore he looked like someone you didn’t even know. “The kiddos keep me busy, don’t you?” You asked Lucy as she reached out for your hand and looked at you like you were telling lies.
“Mums been sick.” She told her father confidently, like you weren’t about to die then and there on the spot from embarrassment. Little Lucy had a bad habit of throwing you and Jake under the bus with one another. “She said it’s just a cold, but she’s been sick for like four whole weeks.” Lucy didn’t know any better than what you had always told her, that you had the flu. A long flu at that. As soon as you’d get the kids off to school you’d head right back to bed and sleep. The medication your doctors had you on was pretty brutal, and chemotherapy didn’t help although you’d only just started that kind of oral treatment. It packed a punch you couldn't handle.
“Oh?” Jake frowned as the five of you all made your way through the airport and out towards the car park. “Mum didn’t tell me she was sick, if I had known I would have come sooner.” Jake looked at you like he was trying to read the lines on your face. He could tell you were tied, more than normal—but despite that knowledge he’d never say it out loud. His grandmother would roll over in her damn grave if Jake ever dared to point out a woman’s under eye bags or her tired expression. So he went with ‘well’.
“That’s why I didn’t tell you.” You didn’t mean for it to sound so harsh, but you knew by the hurt look on Jake’s face that it had struck an exposed nerve. He never wanted to separate. “What I meant was, I’m fine, Lulu here sees a runny nose and thinks it’s the end of days, I would have called you if I needed help.”
“Fair, I mean—you can’t be that sick right? With your big trip to Banff planned and all.” Jake shrugged it off like his heart wasn’t breaking inside his chest. This was about to be his first Christmas separated from the women he loved more than life itself. Being in North Island made it easier to run from his problems, but the minute he got on that flight he was back inside his own head, rewinding and rethinking everything he ever did wrong to drive you away.
“Right—“ You agreed softly beside the man you loved so deeply that it burned. “Yeah, I’m just so thankful you were so happy to take the kids with you to your mothers house this year.” To be perfectly honest you were expecting Jake to push back, ask more questions, be a little standoffish on the idea of you not being there for the kids on Christmas. But he never did, and you didn’t know what hurt more.
“They’re my kids as much as they’re yours—kinda think it’s the least I can do considering you’ve had them all year round.” It was the tone you didn’t appreciate, the almost passive aggressive attitude that made you frown as you walked with Jake and your kids back to your car.
“You can see the kids anytime you like.” You tried to keep your head level, but the way Jake had said it made you question his motives. “I’d never stop you, if you wanna have them more often I’m sure we can—“
“Wasn’t that a big part of the reason you wanted to separate?” Jake interrupted before you had a chance to finish what you were saying. You were about to say perhaps you could come up with a custody agreement. Something on paper that seemed fair to the both of you that took your work schedules into consideration as well as your living conditions, the kids schooling, holidays and extended family. You were happy to discuss it more, but this year that had passed the both of you by had gone in the blink of an eye. “You were stuck with the kids too much? Seems a little counter intuitive considering you’ve become their primary caregiver.”
“Jake—“ You sighed with a longing he’d missed. “Not in front of the kids, alright?” You were trying your best, truly. But here he was in all his glory, the love of your life and father of your children, telling you that you made a mistake just in a different kind of font. “We can talk about it all when we get home.”
“I’m not doing anything in front of the kids—“ Jake shrugged as he watched you unlock the car. “I’m just trying to understand why you can’t just admit why you really left.” Jake knew why you left, because of him. He knew he hadn’t done enough in your marriage to show you how much he loved you. He just wanted to hear you say it. That you didn’t love him anymore. He wanted you to tell him point blank that you had fallen out of love with him.
But you could never say that, because you never stopped loving him.
“You know why—“ You had to bite the inside of your cheek and grit your teeth to stop yourself from yelling, Jake Seresin after all these years still managed to get under your skin with ease. “Again, not in front of the kids, let’s just get home.”
“You seem frustrated.” Jake teased with that award winning grin, he knew exactly what he was doing. You always took the bait.
“Yeah, you’ve been here for five minutes and I’m already over it.” If you had rolled your eyes any harder than you did you would have fallen over.
“Little harsh—“ Jake chuckled as he placed Sammy into his booster seat, the little buckles that used to give him a hard time when the twins were younger were seamlessly clipped up in seconds. Jake made sure his youngest was safe and secure before he stood and turned his full undivided attention back to you. “I’ve missed you.” He said genuinely with a love so strong inside his heart you could nearly feel the warmth as he wrapped his arms around your shoulders and drew you in for a hug. “It’s good to see you, even if it’s just for one night before you go jet setting.”
With little hesitation you melted into the man you had married all those years ago with ease. Jake was your home, your guiding light. This past year had been rough without him and you knew deep down it had been rough for him too.
But sometimes love just wasn’t enough to save a marriage.
“Yeah—yeah it’s good to see you.” Jake felt your arms wrap around his torso as you let your cheek rest on his shoulder. “I’ve missed you too.” Jake’s scent had alway brought comfort to you, the overwhelming warmth of cedarwood and notes of vanilla bourbon always calmed you, grounded you in reality. “I’m uh—“ You wanted to tell him the truth about what was going on, but you just couldn’t do that to him. You couldn’t ask that much of him. Not after everything you’d both been through over the last year. “I’m just happy you’re here for the kids.”
“Mum! Lennox won’t let me have the window seat!”
“I’m older than you!” Lennox argued back as Jake groaned into your neck. Oh how he’d missed you, missed the kids, missed his family. North Island was great but without the four of you? Something was always missing. A piece of Jake was always missing.
“I’m not just here for the kids.” Jake pulled away at the sound of Lenny and Lucy arguing in the back seat over who was taking the middle seat. “But they’re a bonus, Honey.” He winked as he switched into dad mode and dropped his voice an octave or two. “Stop arguing, I’ll flip a coin.”
***~***~***~***~***~***~***~***
“Oh woah—“ Jake's eyes lit up as he walked through the front door of the home you’d recently finished moving into. He’d only ever seen it over FaceTime. “It’s bigger than it looked.” The little giggle you let out as you passed him by didn’t go unnoticed. Dirty bird, Jake thought to himself as his eyes lingered down to your ass as you walked ahead of him.
“It’s enough for me and the kids with a spare room.” You replied as Jake continued to look around. Reminisce of cardboard boxes used in your move still remained scattered around the place. “The kids still wanted to put up the Christmas tree even though they aren’t gonna be here.”
“Mama said Santa will know that we’re spending it with Grandma and Grandpa and will take all our presents there.” Lucy caught Jake's attention as she barreled into the living room where the Christmas tree stood tall and proud, decorated with mismatched decorations that you and Jake had collected over the years either from stores or the kids' school crafts. “She also said I could give this to you when you came to stay the night.” Lucy explained as she dropped to her knees and reached under the tree to where a perfectly wrapped gift labelled with Jake's name on it sat. “It’s from mum.”
“Lucy May—“ You nearly hissed as you padded into the living room. “Don’t tell lie’s please.” You pointed, the deal had been you’d get Jake one present and one present only knowing he probably wouldn’t have gotten you anything, and that you’d tell him it was from the kids until he opened it. “You tell your dad who it’s from.” Jake knew by the smirk that crept across his daughter’s face he recognised as his own, that it was from you. Lucy didn’t have to say another word. But she did regardless.
“It’s from me and Lenny.” She replied as Jake sat on the couch he used to sleep on during those nights the two of you couldn’t sleep in the same bed. Those nights where the two of you needed space and those nights where he thought he was doing the right thing by you and giving it to you. He sat on the couch that felt unfamiliar now and took the present his daughter gave him with grace. “Lenny! Dad’s opening our present!”
“What present?” Lennox frowned as he walked into the living room trying to carry two year old Sam. “Oh! Mums present.”
“Lennox!” You groaned aloud in utter defeat.
All Jake could do was laugh to himself as he looked over at you. You were as beautiful as ever, his one and only love. How the fuck did things get so messy where you had to use your children as scapegoats.
“It’s fine, it’s fine—I know it’s from the kids Honey.” Jake winked as you rolled your eyes and headed on into the kitchen where you were getting organised to cook dinner. You were starting to feel awfully tired–the oral chemotherapy was starting to make you feel sicker than you had been before you knew what was going on. A double edged sword really, you keep taking the pills? You get so sick you die. You stop taking the chemotherapy tablets? You get so sick you die. Either way you were dying or you convinced yourself you were.
But Jake could never know that, your kids could never know that, so you went about your routine as normally as you could without making a fuss.
“I might save this for when we get to Grandmas, I wouldn't wanna not have anything to open on Christmas morning Lulu.” Jake smiled as he brought her in for a hug between his legs. “I love you all so much.”
“We love you too dad.” Lucy replied as she hugged Jake back. “Mum loves you too.”
“Oh does she now?” Jake knew that putting all his faith in a six year old probably wasn't the best thing he could do, but right now as he held her in his arms, the little girl the two of you had created–he did. He trusted her to tell the truth you wouldn't, because you wouldn't lie and tell him you didn't love him either. “Guess I'll just have to take your word for it then, won't I?”
***~***~***~***~***~***~***~***
Jake Seresin had always been a good dad, you had never questioned him on his ability to go above and beyond for his children. That was something you never had to worry about. As you plated up dinner, the laughter of your three children coming from the living room made you smile to yourself. They were loved so fiercely.
“Alright, let's get ready for dinner, yeah? Mums been cooking up a storm in here.” Jake rounded the corner with Sam hand in hand. “Smells so damn good in here.” You again smiled to yourself as Jake can to stand beside you at the kitchen counter, watching as you scooped some pasta bake onto five plates.
“When's the last time you had a home cooked meal?” It was a simple question but Jake really had to think about it for a moment as he reached over to steal a cucumber slice from the chopped salad.
“Does food from the bar count?” He asked with a half cocked smile, knowing full well that Penny's burgers and fries wouldn’t be considered home cooked in your opinion.
“No–” You grinned as Jake leaned in from behind you, trapping you between him and the counter with both arms encompassing you. “No, when's the last time it was a home cooked meal?” Jake didn't reply right away, he simply inhaled your scent slowly from behind you and took in the comforting scent of elderberry and juniper. He missed that all encompassing feeling, that safe and warming feeling of your presence.
“Uh—probably the last time you cooked for me.” Jake noticed the moment you paused at his words, the revelation that you were having. “And it was probably pasta bake, with salad and pork chops, like what we’re having right now.”
“It’s always your favourite—“ It was clear from the very beginning that both you and Jake were getting caught in the moment. But as his hands slowly make their way from the counter top to hips, you know you were too far gone to press the pause button. “Jacob—“
“I'm a simple man.” Jake cooed as he brought one of his hands up to move your hair from one side of your neck. “Lucy tells me you love me.”
“She’s got a pretty wild imagination that daughter of ours.” You teased as Jake pressed his lips against your neck in a sweet gesture of gratitude for the woman who gave him three beautiful children. “You need to stop—“ You sighed into Jake's warm embrace as he pulled away and let his chin fall to your shoulder. “I don’t know where or what you've been in recently.”
“I think she said her name was Vanessa.” Jake taunted as he held you tightly from behind. He felt you tense in his embrace at the very idea he’d been with someone other than you. But you couldn’t hold it against him, not now, the pair of you were separated. You held no claim on the man you had left in favour of putting yourself first.
But that didn’t mean it still didn’t hurt.
“Vanessa a name I should remember?” You asked with a little attitude in your tone Jake caught immediately. He couldn’t help but to smirk at the idea you were a little jealous of his very infrequent conquests. He loved you to the end of the world but this was such a frustrating situation to be in. What was a guy supposed to do? Be celebate in hopes his wife came running back?
“Nope—“ Jake reassured you with another kiss to the neck. “I’m not ready to let you go, I thought maybe I could if I just leaned into the whole thing, whatever it is that we’re doing, but I’m just not ready to let you go.”
“Have you?” Jake had to clear his throat when he asked. “Been with anyone, that is?”
“Do you think between work, raising three kids with your DNA and missing you that I’d have time to get laid?” You knew what Jake would latch onto, the part where you said you missed him. You saw the light in his eye as you turned in his embrace to face him with a mischievous smile plastered across your face.
“You miss me?” Yes. Yes you did. With all your might you missed him everyday and every night. But it didn’t change what the two of you became.
“Don’t try your luck—“ You argued, shrugging Jake's query off like the answer was obvious. To him it was, you did miss him. Other sailors tend to recognise other sailors on the sea and Jake missed you tenfold.
“Oh I’m feeling like the luckiest guy in the whole world right now.” You could feel Jake pressing himself against you, silently but not so subtly telling you exactly what this whole encounter was doing to him.
“Really? Is that so?” You asked like you weren’t aware of the rock hard erection pressing against your pelvis. Jake just pressed his lips together in an attempt to hold off the crimson red from creeping up his neck and cheeks. But he wasn’t backing down from a challenge, especially when you were leaving all the right doors unlocked for him to walk right through.
“So lucky that I couldn’t help but to notice the spare bed hasn’t even been made up?”
“Oh so you assumed I’d be your personal chef and the maid tonight?” You countered as you looked around for your three small children, not wanting to expose them to such x-rated content before you slowly but surely sunk your hand into the sweatpants Jake had recently changed into. Damn those grey sweats and damn Jake for going commando. “You are perfectly capable of making your own bed.”
The way your palm wrapped around his length sent sparks through Jake's body like nothing he’d ever felt before. Your touch was so beautiful and elegant, like you knew exactly what he needed and where he wanted it.
“Or I could just sleep in yours, with you.” Jake nearly begged as your fist slid up and down his hardened length, feeling him twitch under your control. “Honey—“ He nearly moaned as he fell forward into you, letting his forehead rest against yours. “You’re killing me here.”
“What don’t you get about the fact we’re separated?” You asked almost teasingly like you weren’t pumping him slowly as dinner cooled on the counter behind you while your kids played in the living room.
“For as long as you have my last name, you’re my wife, end of story.” Butterflies, that’s how you’d describe the feeling inside you when Jake, your somewhat ex husband, told you you were still his. You never wanted to not be his, but you were sure that Vanessa maybe wondered if she’d ever be his too.
“Oh you are so full of yourself.” You slowly but surely pulled your hand out from Jake’s sweats and watched him nearly deflate at the loss of sensation, but he never missed a beat, Jake was quick like that, he always had been.
“You could be full of me too if you just let your guard down a little.”
“Jake!!” You slapped his chest firmly as your kids all rushed in at the smell of food.
“I’ll take my stuff upstairs shall I?” He grinned ear to ear, knowing by the way your jaw remained on the ground he had you hook, line and sinker.
“Yeah, you can, to the spare room you idiot.” You watched as Jake fixed himself up and headed in the direction of the stairs. You were still so in love with this man.
“Lenny! Where’s your mothers room?” Jake turned to your eldest son who always knew that the two of you were going to make it through whatever this rough patch was. He had friends who had divorced parents, and even at the young age of six, Lennox knew his parents didn’t hate each other.
“Upstairs to the left, it’s the messy one.” You gave your son the stink eye as he beamed up at you.
“Perfect.” Jake chuckled and sent you a wink. “I’ll be right back.” He was getting laid tonight and you both knew it.
“I’m—“ You hardly had the energy to keep your whole hard to get act up, so with a sigh, you let your guard down for the man who held your heart in the palm of his hands. “You’re unbelievably.”
“I’ve been told by the youth on base it’s called Rizz now.” Jake yelled back as he jogged up the wooden stairs, you could just barely hear him as his voice faded the higher he climbed. But nevertheless, you still heard him.
“Well I can’t wait to get both you and your ‘rizz’ out of my house!” You shouted back, Lenny just laughed as he watched his Dad pull a funny face at your words from the top of the stairs.
“You don’t mean that.” He smiled up at you. “You and dad love each other.” It made your heart skip a beat, but you had to remember that you were playing a dangerous game here. Letting Jake in now would only break his heart more. You had to do what was best for you, and that was to remain separate. At least while you were fighting for your life.
“Maybe, but he’s still a pain in my ass Lenny.”

Note
I had read a fic of yours where Batson was Australian, I don't know if you have other requests like this but if you accept, make one with Batson being Brazilian and he likes football, carnival and who likes to listen and dance to music by the great diva Anitta
Okay, that's cool. I never really knew a lot about Brazil, but I love learning more about it. Bruce is really mister worldwide lol.
Summary: (Y/N) is Brazilian.
Warnings: none
Tumblr media
According to Jason, Bruce has become mister Worldwide. Why, I might hear you asking? He, as a playboy, sleeps with a lot of women. One of those women was a Brazilian model and the two had a son together. Bruce took a DNA first because he didn't want to take any type of chances.
It wouldn't be a first time that a woman tried to claim that a kid was his, but wasn't. Turns out, DNA came back telling him that (Y/N) was his son. Thankfully, the woman was very understanding and Bruce sent her money every month and he would visit when he could.
Unfortunately, (Y/N)'s mom passed away when he was a teen and he came to live in the USA with his father and half brothers. It was a little bit weird at first, a new city, a father who is a vigilante, his brothers too, a butler who is their handler so to speak...
Either way, it was weird, but he was happy to be here with his family. That was something that he thought that Americans were lacking sometimes. That feeling of tight nit love and family. His family, including grandmas, grandpas, aunts and much more lived within a walking distance from him.
Okay, that may sound like Americans don't share that same sentiment about family, but (Y/N) didn't really see it. It may that in Brazil that is just amplified by 10 or it could be something else of course. However, his family is tight knit and very loving.
(Y/N) didn't think that he would have that here in America, but hey, he can't really complain can he.
However, there is a single thing he will fight until the day he dies. His fellow Brazilian men and women, his brothers and sisters would agree. Soccer is not football. Football is football, you play with your feet. That's why is so popular.
And that's why Europeans and Latinos went nuts for it. Honestly, (Y/N) watches every game with Brazil's national team, even if Bruce had to pay more for the program. He has the money. He can't let his son suffer, can he?
Also, American Football should be named American Soccer, because the ball is never on the ground. (Y/N) will die by that statement and he will fight everyone he needs to fight with to prove it.
Until his last breath and last drop of blood.
One thing he loves more than anything, alongside the football of course, is the famous Rio de Janeiro carnival. He made Bruce and the rest of the family go every single year with him. Thankfully, he still has his Brazilian passport with him.
And the family has a translator for when they go, because not a lot of people speak English, only in bigger cities and popular tourist sites. It's fun to see (Y/N) speak his native language with so much passion and everyone has decided to learn it to talk to (Y/N).
(Y/N) was proud and nothing but supportive, even though at times they were butchering the language, but it's always the thought that matters. And Portuguese is an easier language to pick up. (Y/N) even had some rewards for them.
Every time they could hold a some what correct conversation when it comes to grammar and vocabulary, they would get a dish from the Brazilian cuisine. It's the famous Feijoada and it's just (Y/N)'s favorite. Everyone loved when (Y/N) made it and it was with his grandma's recipe.
That's what motivated them to learn, because even Damian swore by that dish and he loved it the most. Bruce and the rest loved it, it was different then the rest of the American cuisine. Of course, (Y/N) introduced them to another dishes, but everyone loved the Feijoada.
(Y/N) knew it.
One thing he loves is listening to Anitta. He loves her music and they would often find him dancing while he was cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and other times. It made him happy and Bruce found (Y/N) humming the melody and the lyrics every day.
Everyone soon knew the lyrics to the songs and the melody. And besides, they are all learning Portuguese and it was fun to learn it that way. Dick found her songs great and listened to it during his workouts and Dick loved it.
And one thing that Bruce was proud of was the fact that (Y/N) didn't decided to assimilate. He still has his values and he wasn't afraid to say that he is Brazilian. If he has an interview he is often found correcting people and he is not afraid to say it.
Due to the fact that he is not afraid to say he is from Brazil, people of Brazil have claimed him and whenever he comes, they just shower him with love. He is extremely popular and Bruce knows he shouldn't worry about it, but still.
Bruce worries about his children all of the time, especially when they are in another country, especially on vacation. (Y/N) often told him not to worry and did Bruce listen?
No.
One thing more thing that made Bruce love Brazil more than anything in this world is the fact that they take their hygiene more than some Americans do. (Y/N) said to everyone that during the summer he would take 3 showers per day sometimes.
Damian found that interesting. Brazil is a humid and hot country, considering that it's a tropical country and the heat is often unforgiving.
(Y/N) said that the shower made him slow down and think about relaxing. He often clears his head and feels less stress afterwards. He has explained the shower routine, but still, the family they don't really understand it, but hey, as long (Y/N) is happy.
And one thing that Brazilians love doing that Bruce found nice was the way that they are affectionate. Kisses, hugs and touching. Of course, with consent. (Y/N) understood that not really liked it, but his family loved it.
Damian would often get picked randomly and hugged from behind. Damian would often grumble about it, but he loved it. Bruce loved the hugs and the rest loved the hugs too.
Bruce was just happy that one of them was normal emotionally. (Y/N) was trained in martial arts to protect himself, like everyone, but decided to not be a vigilante. He just couldn't be and Bruce respected it.
(Y/N) was their safety net and nobody would have it any other way.

Yes Coach!!!
A new sunny day reflected on the wet grass of Sunnydale High. The smell of the game that took Sunnydale to Nationals was looming. The pressure on Jimmy was immense. He was the QB after all. He didn't want to disappoint his parents, his classmates, but especially his coach. He praised the coach for his strong and manly demeanor. He knew the coach was a football star in his High School years some might say he was even a prodigy. Unfortunately, an accident caused him to never be able to play football again. In reality, the main reason why Jimmy didn't want to disappoint Coach White was because he secretly had a crush on the coach. He tried to deny his feelings toward Coach White, but he looked irresistible. Coach White was the definition of a proud American man. He had a protruding gut. His ginormous gut made a 4XL skintight. On top of that, he was hairy. Something that always infatuated Jimmy. He loved a man with a big belly and a big bread. Last but not least he loved his gigantic ass, which jiggled with every step he took. He loved the freedom the coach had with no care in the world. Getting to eat anything and everything whenever he wanted to. It seemed to be Jimmy's biggest wet dream. All of these contributing factors led to Jimmy always hiding his hard-on while near the coach.
Tumblr media
On the other end, Jimy was a thin, lean, and hairless Mexican teen. He was the popular Jock attracting people from both genders. He was a people magnet. This made him frustrated as all he wanted was to have Coach White. He was confused about how everyone at school fawned over him and his looks. Everyone except for Coach White. He was sexually frustrated finding football the only way to relieve the pressure building inside of him.
Tumblr media
As the school day was reaching its end, Jimmy knew this meant the game would soon begin. This was his one and only chance to impress his coach. All he strived for was for the validation of his crush. Little did he know this would warp his sense of reality as soon one looked down at him. The team was on the field waiting for their prized quarterback to come out of the locker room. Everyone was confused as to why he took his time. The game was about to begin. Jimmy stayed in the locker room contemplating whether he had made the right decision. Whether he was fit for playing at the National level. He is scared of losing. He was scared of disappointing. After a few minutes of complete silence, Coach White walked in. He was embarrassed to show this side to the coach. So, Jimmy braced himself for the confrontation he would have with the coach. "Why are you here sulking all alone? You're about to play for goddamn nationals grow a pair." "I'm sorry coach I'm not ready for this. I feel sick in my stomach." "Come on bud you're a senior. Why not leave this school with a bang? You've been preparing this all four years. Don't give up now." "I'm sorry coach, but I can't." "Well, then son I've done all I could do for you. If you quit our team, well be done. We surely won't make it without you." Coach White sighed in disappointment. He turned his back in frustration and began to exit the dimly lit room. Jimmy knew that this would be his only chance to say how he truly felt. Jimmy in a desperate attempt grabbed Coach White by his hand and turned him. "Listen coach I've been holding this in since freshman year, but I can't hold it in anymore. You are the sexiest person I know. When your big belly and ass jiggles give me boners. Your big beard makes us want to stuff you till you have crumbs intertwined between the jungle that covers your face. All I would want is to be in your shoes I know your dream is to be in my fit body, but I on the other hand would love to have the freedom your big belly gives you. I would love to have a big burly body that bumps into everything while you walk down a hallway. I just wish for the freedom you have." "I don't know where this is coming from. I know you are stressed about the game, but this is concerning." Little did they know that the god of fate had other ideas. He saw the desperation in Jimmy's eyes, so he decided to accomplish his wish. After all the god of fate is kind. Is he not? But all wishes have their downside. to balance the scales of fate something had to balance out the scales. The drawback was that their body switch would be permanent. Coach White felt weirded out by the love declaration of his star student, but deep down he did feel the same way. So did the god of fate. The switch began, and both Coach White and Jimmy felt a strange sensation in their stomachs. Jimmy felt piles of lard start to pile on him. He fell as his center of gravity was thrown off. Frist his
smooth six-pack was replaced by a small hairy beer belly. It grew to the point where it seemed he was fully free in a pregnancy. With that love, hands started to appear which gave him a wider look. His pecs soon followed as they lost all their muscle mass and were replaced with big utters. His arms lost their definition and were replaced with piles of lard that settled in where the muscle was. Hair started to grow all over his body except his head which seemed to diminish. His penis seemed to grow in thickness. Unfortunately, his fat seemed to cover this manhood. Just like his arms lost their previous fit look his legs were replaced with big trucks to hold up the gargantuan man he was now. Last but not least was his ass. Which seemed to be replaced with Jello. It was so big that the seams of his football unfirm were stretched to their full ability. Likewise, his shirt stretched in ways he never thought it would. His arms, gut, ass, and legs were clinging to dear life. Until "pop" his uniform tore and he was left there naked in the middle of the locker room. Likewise, Coach White went through his own transformation his body seemed to shrink and shrivel into a fit and young man. He gained definition in his body. His body burst with energy, and he felt a rush of excitement. He lost his body hair and looked like a hairless Greek god. And with the luxurious locks that replace his once bald hair surely completed the look. Coach White I mean Jimmy gave old clothes to Coach White. Coach White sat there in disbelief that his wish came true he felt uncomfortable. Unfortunately, they had no time to fret they had a game to win. People saw Jimmy play and they thought he had played like never before. It was as if he had gained years of experience. After the whole ordeal, Sunnydale came out as the victors and went to nationals. Everyone praised Jimmy for his hard work. Coach White felt jealous as he took his win, but there was nothing to do. He pulled him away and told him. "We need to find a way to get to our original bodies." "I'm sorry coach I don't know what you're talking about. I'm Jimmy and your Coach White." Coach White sat in silence as all of Coach White's memories came flooding in. Soon nothing remained that was part of Jimmy in Coach White. All he could think about how hungry he was. He was thinking about how many pizzas to stuff in his mouth. This was who they were now. No possible way to change back, and it is not like they would do anyway. The one who took the final laugh was the god of fate. Never mess with fate.

Like a Random Tuesday in December
Tumblr media
steve harrington x afab!reader words: 12,457 warnings: little bit of smut !! 18+ (minors dni) ; the smut is very brief so plsplspls do not expect a lot summary: Reader had always had a crush on Steve, but he is not interested. Yet, when he starts to get closer to her, he realizes he made a mistake because it might be too late. a/n: hiiiii. long time no see for a stevie fic... i apologize university is... you know. i started working on this since NOVEMBER of 22' i hope you can enjoy it, because i enjoyed writing it!
Y/n was five years old when she had her first kiss. She was part of the Dribbling Tots basketball team that her father had forced her to be part of. He had grown up as a sports guy, having met her mother at college while he played linebacker.
Although his first child was a girl, that didn’t stop him from doing whatever he could to make sure she would be the first woman in the NFL. Sadly, she was too young to join the PeeWee football team, so he had to settle for the next best thing.
But at five years old, Y/n didn’t understand the reason she was forced to play this game, and her fine motor skills were still below average, dribbling the really bouncy ball was hard. As an only child she wasn’t used to sharing her belongings either, so when a small chubby boy stole the ball from her, she crossed her arms across her chest and began to wail as loud as she could. Her father was one of the coaches and he tried to calm her down, but she wouldn’t budge.
The small chubby boy had come back to her, ball in his hand and held it out for her. The coach for the other team started to yell at him, “Steve, that’s not how we play basketball, son!” But the boy ignored him.
She sniffled, looking at the orange ball in his tiny hands. “That wasn’t nice.”
“I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.” He let the ball drop out of his hands and walked up to her, his innocent brown eyes nearly made her tears dry. His arms wrapped around her and she could hear the echoed “aws” from mothers watching. He broke apart from her but not without leaning in and placing a small kiss on her lips like she had seen her father do to her mother anytime she was upset.
One would think maybe that was when Y/n first had her crush on Steve Harrington. And maybe if she really thought about it, that’s when it began. Except, that stomach drop feeling and heart racing never occurred until the seventh grade on a random Tuesday in December. He had shown up to class late, rummaged through his backpack and sighed before looking behind him. She didn’t notice at first because she was etching her pencil into the desk.
“Hey.” He tapped his finger on the wooden desk.
She looked up at him, surprised, Steve Harrington hadn’t really talked to her since grade school. “Uh… hey?”
He gave her a charming smile, running his fingers through his hair which had recently been cut. “Do you have an extra pencil I could borrow?”
She had given him one of her favorite pencils, only a tiny scratch had been on it. Okay, it wasn’t her favorite, but when he had returned it at the end of class it became her most prized possession the rest of the school year. Well, until she lost it. But her crush never subdued throughout school.
Even watching the goofy big tooth boy grow taller, stronger, and more attractive she couldn’t help but feel her cheeks heat up whenever he was near. Her friends would tease her at lunch when she would stop mid-sentence because Steve had just stood up and caught a chicken nugget in the air or she would giggle at a joke she listened to.
But one thing was she never told him. Not once. Y/n saw the type of girls Steve Harrington went out with and she definitely was not the small and petite Nancy Wheeler. It seemed like her feelings towards Steve would be nothing more than a school girl crush. In fact, she had rarely thought about the dark haired boy since prom. Because although he looked sad, he looked pretty. And she swore he was about to ask her to dance until some redhead jumped in front of him. That was until he decided to start working at Family Video.
Keith mentioned there would be two new employees and all the training was on her, per usual. Y/n was Keith’s underpaid assistant but she never argued because he would eventually leave and she’d be crowned the new manager. But she didn’t expect on a Saturday morning that she would walk in to see Steve Harrington and a short haired girl named Robin Buckley waiting outside for their first ever shift.
She tried her best not to fumble her keys while unlocking the door or run into the cart of returned movies that the closers conveniently forgot to put away. She tried at least. The cart hit her hip so hard it fell down. She immediately cursed under her breath, bending down to pick up the spilled tapes on the ground.
Both new employees jumped to help her as she sputtered apologies and they didn’t have to help. Her breath hitched. Steve’s shoulder brushed against hers as he reached for a copy of Breakfast at Tiffany’s and suddenly she was back in Mrs. Robinson’s pre-cal class, warm cheeks, and that flip in her stomach that told her maybe her school girl crush hadn’t gone away. Lucky for her, she was the one who had been given the weekly task to make the schedule. She had ensured to never have a shift with him– at least alone.
She thought it wasn’t obvious she was actively avoiding him until one day he had come in with lunch for Robin. Except, Robin had already gone down the street to Dairy Queen with a friend. Steve’s face dropped when Y/n had broke the news to him. One would think him and Robin were together but it took three hours for her to come to the conclusion that they were nothing more than platonic.
Steve set the bag on the counter. He ran a hand through his hair, a strand fell down to his forehead, and she pathetically had to turn around to make sure she wasn’t drooling. “Do you want to eat lunch together?”
She froze. “W-what?”
Steve had already started to unpack the brown bag, shoving a fry in his mouth. “I don’t know what you like on your burger. Robin is weird and hates everything except cheese and pickles.” It was difficult to understand him with his mouth full of more salty fries and the fact she was still stunned. Steve must have noticed how she didn’t budge, staring at him with wide eyes because he looked up, tilting his head. “You're not hungry? Wait, don’t tell me. Are you one of those vegetarians? If you are, that's totally okay… you can eat my fries! Fries are a vegetable, right?”
She put her hand up. “No… I’m… thank you.” That was all she could manage to say before she grabbed the wrapped burger on the counter to take a bite.
“You don’t talk a lot, do you?” Steve wiped a dot of mustard from the corner of his mouth. “You never did in school.”
She giggled. “You never talked to me in school.”
“I didn’t?”
She tapped her chin and looked up as she pretended to go through her memories. “I recall one conversation when you asked to borrow a pencil.”
Steve made a sound and motioned his hands at her. “See!” His laugh was infectious, silky, and warm.
She had rolled her eyes, cheeks heated and stomach fluttered. “It’s okay. I never expected Steve Harrington to talk to someone like me.”
It wasn’t dramatic but his face dropped and eyes averted elsewhere. He took another bite of his burger, slow and deep in thought. She wanted to apologize. It was a harmless joke. Yet, she could tell his old self was a sore subject. “Sorry I was an idiot back then. So, don’t say that about yourself. You’re pretty cool.”
She looked down at her burger, avoiding the toothy grin plastered on his face. “You think I’m cool?”
Steve shoved the last bite of his burger in his mouth, shrugging. “Yeah of course you’re cool. You’re the one who convinced Keith to let us put a coffee machine in the break room.”
Her face fell briefly. “Yeah… um thank you again for the burger but I need to get back to work before the rush.” She was lying, and he knew that. There was never a rush until the evening.
He coughed awkwardly, grabbing his trash off the counter so he could place it in the bin. “Right. Well, I guess I’ll see you later?”
She only gave him a small smile, sighing in relief when the door chimed as Robin walked in, eyes wide at the sight of Steve. “I didn’t know you were working today?”
“I brought you lunch,” he answered with a bored tone, walking towards her.
“Oh… I was on a…” She looked over at the girl rewinding tapes, pretending not to listen to their conversation. “I was hanging out with April.”
Steve’s eyes widened. “April from the corner store? With the…?” He grabbed imaginary boobs.
Robin rolled her eyes, hitting him in the chest. “Gross, Steve. Are there any fries left? I’m still starving.” She grabbed the empty sack out of his hand, frowning. “I thought you said you brought me lunch?”
Steve made a sound, glancing at the girl behind the counter. “I had lunch with Y/n instead.”
Robin’s face contorted into something Steve knew all too well– mischief and curiosity. Robin loved to jump to conclusions.
“Stop,” he whispered so only she could hear. He started to mess with some tapes on a shelf so it looked less suspicious.
Robin threw her hands up. “I didn’t say anything.”
He narrowed his eyes looking back at the girl who was oblivious to the conversation and then back at his best friend. “She’s not my type.”
“I wasn’t your type either.” She jabbed back.
He blew a sigh out of his nose, opening his mouth to say something, but decided against it. He looked back at the girl.
Robin leaned closer, also bringing her voice to a whisper. “She definitely has a crush on you.” She snorted when Steve fumbled with a tape in his hand before placing it back. However, Robin took it and put it in a different spot– the correct spot.
“She does not. She doesn’t even talk to me!” He had said the last part a little too loud, but fortunately for him she had slipped into the storage room. Her ears were out of range of their conversation.
Robin thumped him on the forehead. “You dingus. She doesn’t talk to you because she has a crush on you, duh.”
Steve rubbed his hand over his face. “Even if she does have a crush on me. I’m not interested.”
Robin shook her head in disbelief, handing him the empty sack back. “Right. Because she’s not your type.” She didn’t allow him to answer, ending the conversation by telling him she’d see him later.
And of course, it took Robin exactly twenty-seven minutes to interrogate Y/n about Steve. Business was slower than usual, and her boredom turned into twenty questions. Robin had learned more about her co-worker in fifteen minutes than the few months she had been working there.
Her favorite food, color, and astrology chart. And now she was down to her last few questions. She needed to use them wisely. “So… what do you think about Steve?” Robin tried to be nonchalant.
Y/n didn’t react, but she noticed the way her shoulders tensed up. “Not sure what you mean by that.”
Robin shrugged, twirling a strand of hair around her finger mindlessly. “Oh… he just mentioned something to me. It’s probably nothing.” With her plan, she walked off, pushing the cart of returned tapes around, taking her sweet time to find their right places.
“Oh.” Was all Y/n had said before a customer walked in. But as soon as they walked out, Y/n joined Robin by the Horror section. “I’m curious. What did he say?”
Robin motioned her hand in a circle. “You know, this and that. How he thinks you hate him because you ignore him all the time.” It was a stretched lie. But it was her bait, and by the expression on the girl’s face, she was hooked.
“I… don’t hate Steve. Does he really think that?” Her face was full of concern. She even looked so worried her face was green as if she wanted to throw up.
Robin had to hold in the laughter. “It’s okay. I know it’s because you have a crush on him.”
She pushed the cart away, leaving Y/n behind. Her mouth had fallen open from shock. “W-what? No I don’t!”
“Okay,” Robin hummed.
“Even if I did like him. That’s not why I ignore him. It's a coincidence,” she continued.
“Don’t you make the schedules?” Robin’s brow rose, putting the last tape away. She leaned on the cart.
Y/n huffed, crossing her arms. “I do not have a crush on him.”
“You already said that.”
“And I’m repeating it because I feel like you don’t believe me.”
“Because I don’t believe you.”
The two stared at one another, neither wanted to break first. Y/n had always gotten along with Robin, but she never considered her a close enough friend to be asked such personal questions. She never went around trying to dive deeper into Robin’s romantic affairs.
Not that she ever saw her flirt with anyone that came in or talk about the very few cute boys that rolled in and out of Family Video.
It was Y/n who finally broke, the sound of the door chime turning her attention to an older woman hobbling in. The rest of the shift the two girls didn’t speak. But Y/n occasionally caught Robin looking over at her, a smirk plastered on her face. It was like Robin had figured everything out about her.
***
The inevitable occurred. It was Thursday, but not just any Thursday. It was Halloween. And Robin Buckley had caught the flu. Not only did Keith force her to cancel all of her late night plans, but Y/n had to work with Steve Harrington– alone.
She dreaded the shift as soon as she pulled up to her designated parking spot. Steve’s sleek BMW parked right next to it. Normally when she parked next to him, she always caught him doing his hair or checking to make sure his teeth were still white.
But today, there was no sign of him waiting in the car before their shift. Before she could question it, the door to Family Video opened, two girls came out giggling. Steve was the one holding the door. She couldn’t help it but to roll her eyes.
When he saw her get out of the car, he tilted his head, smiled softly, and waved at her. It was more than odd to see him show up before her. Keith already had a file full of tardiness warnings. “Nice costume.” Steve kept the door held open for her as she walked up to the store.
She instinctively touched the cat ears on her head. Steve followed close behind her back into the store. There were only a few customers browsing the store when she walked in. “Yeah, well thanks to Robin my plans on staying home doing nothing turned into scrambling to find something quick.”
Steve reached out and poked the orange and black ears, sniggering. “It wasn’t a requirement to wear a costume.”
She swatted his hand away and put a hand on her hip. “I know that. But it makes the shift more fun.”
“You could’ve made it more fun for me and dressed as one of the Pussycats.” He smirked, crossing his arms over his chest.
Her cheeks heated up. Y/n walked to the counter and picked up the folder for the closing shift check-list, scanning what needed to be done.
She glanced at the brunette who had followed her. He leaned against the counter, watching her. “If you should know, I was Josie last year for Halloween. This is my work appropriate costume.” She looked him up and down. “It’s a shame you didn’t want to dress up. You would have made a good Alan.”
His brows furrowed. “Who’s Alan?”
“The Pussycat’s roadie and Josie’s boyfriend.” Her eyes widened at what she had just said. She turned to face him, shaking her head violently. “I- I didn’t mean it like that.”
Steve licked his lips and opened his mouth as if he wanted to say something important. “I’m going to go check on our customers.”
She wanted to kick herself watching Steve give an awkward tightlipped smile, and walk away to the other side of the store. Instead, she had to put on a fake smile as she checked out customers. This was the exact reason she avoided being alone with him. Her awkward nature was always illuminated in her conversations.
And it seemed like the night only dragged excruciatingly slow. Occasionally groups of teenagers would come in like a herd, Steve scolding them not to run around. And then there were periods of times that it was just the two of them. The only sound came from the ticking of the clock and the film that was playing on the TV above the counter.
Then three familiar boys stormed into the store. There was a short curly-haired one, looking around as if he was on a mission. “Steve!” He had shouted towards her co-worker who was fixing a display.
Steve turned around with a huge smile. “Henderson!”
She couldn’t help but watch in bewilderment as the two greeted one another. “Where’s Robin?” The tall scrawny dark-haired boy of the group asked, coming up to the counter to get a piece of candy from a bowl that Keith had put out.
“Sick,” Steve answered him. He looked over at Y/n, who stood awkwardly as the three boys all made a sound of disappointment.
“Does this mean we can’t-” The curly haired boy’s words were cut off because Steve thumped him in the head, giving him a warning look. “What was that for?” He rubbed the spot, confused.
The other two boys kept quiet, as if they knew why Steve had tried to shut the boy up. “Let’s just go Dustin.” The dark skinned boy said. He motioned his eyes towards Y/n.
“Oh.” Dustin nodded, looking over at her. He gave her a toothy grin, his braces gleaming from the fluorescent lights. “Right… uh… well I guess we’ll see you later, Steve.”
The three boys all gave a disappointed sigh, their shoulders slouched as they made their way towards the door.
“Wait,” Y/n called out. The three boys stopped, turning around quickly. “You boys didn’t come in here to rent an R-rated movie… did you?” She raised a brow.
They all looked at one another.
“Or did you? Because my co-worker here lets you?” She tilted her head, trying to hold back the laughter from interrogating them. They gave a panicked look towards Steve, who was pretending not to listen. She looked over at him, narrowing her eyes. “But Steve wouldn’t do that. Because he knows that’s a fireable offense, right?”
Steve stuttered, trying to come up with the words. “Uh… yeah… right.”
“And as one of the leader’s, it’s my duty to write you up if I see you let fourteen year-olds rent an R-rated movie.” Steve looked down at the ground, avoiding her glare from being caught red-handed. Y/n let out a sigh. “I’m going to the backroom to get something. Since I can’t see the store or anything that happens while I’m in there, will you make sure any customers are taken care of while I’m gone?”
Steve looked up at her. He was unsure what to say. So, he just nodded.
Y/n eyed the three boys, giving them a small smile before walking to the back. She could hear them quietly celebrate as she entered the backroom. Of course, there was nothing for her to get or do in there. She was waiting until she heard the boys say bye, and ring of the bell, letting her know they were gone.
When she came back out, Steve’s back was leaned on the counter, arms crossed, watching the front door. The sunset streamed in, casting a glow on his tanned skin. She felt her cheeks heat up when she noticed the muscles in his arms poke out, his shirt sleeve hugging them. He noticed she had walked back into the room, standing straight, and brushing out his vest.
“Your friends left?” She pretended to look for them even though she knew the answer, walking towards the cash register. Her back now faced him.
Steve looked amused. “I wouldn’t really call them my friends.”
“They come in a lot to see you. That curly-haired boy seems to be fascinated with you.” She smirked at the thought that The King of high school who was popular was now only friends with a bunch of outcasts.
“Oh, yeah. I guess Dustin is like the little brother I never had.” He walked up next to her.
She shuddered when his arm brushed against hers. “That’s adorable,” Y/n cooed. She looked up at him with a big smile.
Steve blushed, but smiled back nevertheless. In doing so, it filled the air around the two of them with something that Y/n couldn’t describe. But it was suffocating, pricking her skin into tiny goosebumps along her arms.
He raked his fingers through his hair, sucking in his teeth. He was the first to break eye contact. “Listen, I um… wanted to talk to you about something Robin had said.”
Her face fell, unsure what he was going to say. “Oh?”
“Well, it’s kind of funny she would say such a thing. But a few weeks ago she mentioned something about you… having a crush on me.” He had thrown in some laughs as if it would ease the awkwardness.
Suddenly, it felt like Y/n had forgotten what words were. She was frozen, blinking rapidly, trying to tell her brain how to open her mouth. It would be easy for her to lie. To tell him, no, that’s absolutely ridiculous. Nevertheless, she looked up at him, a pathetic look in her eyes, opening her mouth to say something, but choosing to give a weak smile instead.
Realization hit him. Robin's intuition was correct. He couldn’t help but look at his feet, blushing. “Oh.”
The reply was all she needed to hear to know his thoughts on the matter. “It’s okay. You don’t have to say anything. I know you’re not interested. It’s just silly feelings that don’t mean anything, you know?” Her smile was small and sad. “I’d like to be your friend, though. I’ve just always been shy because you’re Steve Harrington and I wasn’t sure how to talk to you.”
Steve hated to admit her response was overwhelming and confusing. It was sure, he had never thought of her more than just a coworker. He gave a quick nod. “Right. Friends is… good. I’d like to be your friend as well.”
There was a beat.
“Great.” Y/n threw her hands up. “Then friends we are!” She patted him on the shoulder. And although her chest was tight, and a lump in her throat threatened to come up, she still smiled.
The bell ringing forced their attention towards the front door as another group of teenagers stormed in. The conversation was dropped for the rest of the night. And it probably would never come up again.
They were just friends.
***
Robin typed on the Family Video computer, occasionally leaning back, looking at the office door when she heard raised voices. Steve set some tapes on the counter next to her. She jumped, briefly looking at her friend before turning to look at the closed door again. “What do you think they’re talking about in there?”
Steve tilted his head, shrugging. “‘Dunno. Y/n and Keith have been butting heads for the past two weeks.”
“Yeah, but Mr. Morris never comes in. It must be something serious if the owner wanted to talk to them,” she whispered.
Before Steve could reply, the office door opened wide. “This is bullshit!” Y/n stormed out. She turned back around, pointing her finger towards whoever was in the room. “When this store goes downhill, don’t call me for help.” She pulled her work vest off and threw it on the ground. “I’m tired of doing all of Keith’s work and have no credit around here.”
There was no reply from inside the office, making her scoff in disbelief. “Fuck this place. And fuck you, Keith. Should I tell Mr. Morris now that you’ve been sneaking tapes from the adult section?” She turned back around and stomped past Robin and Steve, stopping for a moment to look at them, but it seemed like there was nothing else to say. She walked out of the store, leaving the pair dumbfounded.
Steve gave Robin a look. “I’ll be right back.” Before she could argue, Steve was running out of the store. He sighed in relief when he saw Y/n’s car still parked. He ran across the street, calling out her name, waving his hand in the air, barely missing a car coming his way. Whoever was driving was not happy because they held down their car horn as they passed by, flipping him off.
He didn’t bother with apologies. Instead, he walked up to her car, panting.
“Did your mother ever teach you how to look both ways, Harrington?” Although she was smirking, Steven took note of her puffy red-stained eyes. Dried tears clung to her soft cheeks. She must have noticed he was looking at her because she took the back of her hand to wipe her face.
“Are you okay?” He placed the palm of his hand on the top of her car, leaning on it slightly, trying to catch his breath. He needed to get back in shape.
Y/n, already frustrated, rolled her eyes. “I’m fine, Steve. I just want to go home.”
“Are you sure? It looked pretty rough back there.” He pressed.
Her jaw ticked. “Steve, I appreciate your concern. But I really don’t want to talk about it. Especially with you.”
Taken aback, Steve allowed his hand to slip down. He looked off to think for a moment. “I’m sorry. I just thought now that we’re friends… you might want someone to talk to.”
She bit her lip and pinched her nose. “No, I’m sorry. I’m pissed off and I took it out on you.” Her voice was soft, slightly cracking. Yet, she gave him an assuring smile. “Thank you for checking up on me.”
He smiled back. “Robin and I are having a movie night tomorrow. You should come. I have a heated pool.” He could sense she was unsure with the proposal. “And there will be booze. If you’re into that sort of thing of course.”
She sniggered, “Okay.”
That next night, Y/n showed up to Steve Harrington’s house just as she promised. She knocked on the large double doors. It took a moment before it opened. Her brows knitted together when the curly haired boy from Halloween answered the door. His name was Dustin, if she remembered correctly. “You’re not pizza.”
She dramatically patted herself. “Oh god. You’re right. I’m not. And you’re not Steve.”
Dustin rolled his eyes. “Very funny.” He left the door open just enough to let her in. “Steve! Your girlfriend is here.”
Her eyes went wide. “Oh, we’re not-”
“Y/n! You came.” Steve interrupted her, walking into the foyer.
She looked away quickly. He was only in a pair of swim trunks, a towel hung around the back of his neck. She had hoped he wasn’t serious about swimming. Even with a heated pool it was 53° outside. “Yeah, I had nothing better to do.”
Steve laughed, then looked over at Dustin who was still standing there, watching the two of them, clearly amused. “Henderson, what are you doing?”
“Waiting on the damn pizza you said you ordered an hour ago. I’m starving,” the younger boy complained.
“Stop whining and go upstairs and tell Robin Y/n’s here.” He motioned Dustin to go up the staircase that was right next to them. And like a mother, when Dustin opened his mouth to argue, Steve held a finger up. “Go, now.”
His shoulders dropped in defeat, doing as he was told.
Y/n giggled. “He seems like a handful.”
“No kidding.” Steve watched Dustin disappear at the top to go find Robin. “Just between you and me, I completely forgot to order the pizza.”
“I heard that!” Dustin yelled.
Steve ignored him, but rather put his hand on Y/n’s back so he could lead her through the house. “This is the living room.”
“I know.” Her eyes widened. “I didn’t mean that in a stalker way. I meant it as I’ve been to your parties in high school way.”
He chuckled, removing his hand from her back. “Sorry about that. I don’t remember much about high school. Mostly because part of me was so self-absorbed.”
There was a beat.
“Would you like a beer?”
“Uh… sure.” She followed him into the large kitchen. She had never seen it so empty, tracing her finger over the marble countertop. “I never thought you were self-absorbed.”
Steve paused for a moment to process what she had just said, looking over at her as she jumped on top of the counter. She seemed fascinated with his kitchen. He wasn’t sure why, though. It was just a kitchen. “I’m okay with admitting to being selfish and arrogant back then.”
Y/n took a cold can of beer out of his hand. She smirked, opening the can, letting it hiss. “I never said I never thought you were arrogant.” She took a sip.
Steve couldn’t help but titter. She had got him there he had to admit.
“Steve, Dustin said you forgot to order the pizza.” Robin’s voice infiltrated the kitchen as she barged through the door, clutching her stomach dramatically. “I’ve been studying non-stop and I think I’m about to die from lack of food.”
Y/n’s giggle made Robin look her up and down, examining from head to toe. She then turned back to Steve, a painful expression on her face. “Please order the pizza. My life is on your hands, Harrington.”
Steve rolled his eyes, taking the towel around his neck and swatting her with it. “You order it. I’m showing my guest around.”
“You never showed me around,” Robin mumbled. He tried to hit Robin again, but she caught the towel and pulled it away, frowning. “You do know me and Dustin will abuse this power of pizza ordering privileges.”
Steve looked like he was second-guessing his choice. Yet, he just sighed. “Yeah. Do as you wish. We’ll meet you guys outside in a bit.” He motioned for Y/n to follow him.
She slid off the counter, giving Robin a small smile. “See you in a bit.”
And before she turned to follow Steve out of the room, Robin’s mouth twisted into a sly smirk. She then crossed her arms and gave a suggestive wink at the girl. Y/n felt her face heat up and quickly put her head down, scurrying out of the room to catch up with Steve.
Later that night, Steve had walked Y/n to her car. When he walked back inside his house, he joined Robin and Dustin back in the living room. The two sat on the couch, arms crossed, and had knowing looks plastered on their faces, like mom’s who knew too much.
Steve ignored them and instead started to clean up the area. He had changed into a shirt and sweats, but his hair was still damp and clung to his forehead. Him and Dustin had been the only ones who swam. Robin and Y/n sat at the edge, their feet dipped into the pool, talking about who knows what.
Although Robin and Steve had a lot in common and were inseparable since the summer, he couldn’t help but feel happy she had another friend who was a girl. Truthfully, he struggled fully understanding her.
“Are you sure you two aren’t dating?” Dustin had been the one to break the ice, asking the question that Robin was wondering as well.
She sat silent, but by her expression, Steve could tell she had a lot to say on the matter. The Harrington boy sighed loudly, not looking over at them. “I’m sure.”
Robin let out a scoff, everything she had been holding in spilling out. “Are you kidding me? I’ve had to endure you two blatantly flirting or eye… canoodling for three weeks straight. But get this, he told me he turned her down when she told him she liked him.”
Dustin jumped off the couch, walking up to Steve.“Wait… dude, she likes you? And you rejected her? I thought it was weird when you and Robin haven’t gotten together yet, but this is even weirder.”
Steve glanced over at Robin, sharing a knowing look at one another. “Uh… yeah,” he coughed awkwardly. “She’s just not my type, you know.” Steve shook his head. This was unbelievable. Why was he talking about his love life with a kid? “Go get your stuff. Your mom should be home by now. I can’t believe I let her convince me to look after you tonight.”
Dustin mumbled profanities, walking off to go collect his things. Robin on the other hand had stood up, not wanting to drop the subject. “You’re a dingus, Harrington.”
“I’m done talking about it, Buckley. We’re just friends.” He took the handful of trash and walked into the kitchen to throw it away.
Robin followed. “Give me one good reason she isn’t your type. Then I’ll drop it.” Steve turned around, hands on hips, annoyed. Robin held out her pinkie. “I promise.”
He looked to the side and his jaw ticked. “I dunno, she just isn’t. There isn’t anything else to say.”
“You’re not helping your case-” He cut her off by groaning loudly, putting his face in his hands. “Jesus Christ. I don’t like her because she doesn’t really like me. I can tell you’re confused. I meant that she doesn’t really like me because she likes this version of me she knew from high school.”
She still looked confused. “Okay?”
“Robin, you’ve seen my many failed dates. It has all been girls that I went to school with who had a crush on Steve “The King” Harrington. Once they learned that I was just some guy who had no actual plan for the future…” He couldn’t seem to finish the last part. He leaned back on the counter, arms crossed.
Robin started to laugh, receiving a dirty look from him. “But you always know that’s why those girls like you because of you were. Why is Y/n different? Is it because you like her too?”
Steve didn’t answer at first. He scratched his neck, standing up straight again. “She’s just a friend.”
Defeated in the argument, Robin sighed. “Right. Do you know why she quit yesterday?”
“What does this have to with-”
“She quit because Keith reported her for renting R-rated movies out to kids.”
Steve’s mouth fell open, unsure what to say.
But he didn’t have to say anything, because Robin continued, “She didn’t have to do that. She could have told the truth and saved her ass but she didn’t. Now sure, she might have a crush on you because of Steve “The King” Harrington. But something tells me she might be okay with Steve “The Lame and Dingus” Harrington.”
Steve couldn’t sleep the rest of the night once Robin and Dustin arrived safely back at their homes. He hated when Robin had the last word in their squabbles. And it seemed like this time it took the words right out from under him.
He was unsure how to feel. Grateful? Guilty? Indebted? None of those made up for what Y/n had done for him. And she didn’t even tell him. It was an unconditional favor that he wasn’t aware of until now.
***
Y/n hated to admit it, but she missed Family Video. Her days at the store were always different, even with the odd small-town regulars that came in. She hated that she even missed the smell of Keith’s tuna sandwich he always brought for lunch.
Now, she was stuck behind a desk taking calls for an attorney who rarely had clients. At first, she was ecstatic her first day had been sorting paperwork, but if she had known it would only take her a couple of hours, she would’ve dragged it out rather than trying to be a kiss-ass over achiever.
Unlike Family Video, her day was always the same. It was Hawkins, she expected to see odd cases come in and out, but most of the time it was the town drunks who violated their probation by drinking under the influence.
However, one good thing happened was at exactly 11:30 AM, Steve Harrinton would walk in with lunch. The first few days he had came, Y/n had already packed a sandwich for herself and it had gone to waste. She soon learned there wasn’t a need to pack her lunch at all by the second week.
Steve had managed to become the new lead, meaning he had full control of scheduling. Y/n was happy for him. He seemed to enjoy having more control and privileges. And she imagined he took advantage of his position whenever he was on a shift with Robin.
So, by now it had come to no surprise when he waltzed into the office, two bags in his hands, plopping in the chair on the other side. He always set his feet on top of the desk, which Y/n always pushed off. Even if she was occupied with a word search or book, it was an instinct.
“Working hard or hardly working?” He smiled, teeth and all, knowing she would cringe.
She let out raspberry, reaching over the desk and hand held out to take the bag. “What fine cuisine did you bring for me today? Wendy’s?”
Steve laughed, handing over the bag. “My mom’s meatloaf.”
She gave him a look. Nothing had to be said to know that it was strange coming from him having a home cooked meal from his mom. Especially since a few weeks ago he had mentioned his dad had received a promotion, meaning more time traveling. Steve had expressed many times that Mrs. Harrington didn’t trust his dad on his own.
She watched as he took out the contents of his bag. She had put the blinds up earlier because the sun was out even though it was December. Sunlight bled through, highlighting his dark hair that it almost looked like honey was oozing down his head like streaks.
However, the moment was ruined when he shoved a bologna sandwich in his mouth, crumbs falling everywhere.
“You always eat like it’s your last meal.” She noticed a drop of mustard on his chin. Sighing, she opened a drawer full of miscellaneous items, taking out a napkin. She leaned over the desk and wiped the mustard off his chin carefully. There was a beat where the two locked eyes, but she pulled away quickly, handing him the napkin.
“I eat like a working man who only has a 30-minute lunch break,” he complained.
She giggled. “I’ve told you my boss is looking for an intern. You’d get an hour.”
“Pfft. I am not cut out for the world of law. Although, my dad would probably be more than happy.” Steve ate the last bite of his food, rubbing his hands against one another to get the crumbs off.
She only smiled in response, finally taking a bite of the meatloaf, her eyes wide as it hit her tongue. “This is delicious!”
A laugh bellowed out of him. “Woah, slow down there.”
Y/n didn’t listen. In about five bites the meatloaf was all gone from the tupperware container. A loud burp escaped from her lips, she shockingly covered her mouth from embarrassment. But she quickly eased up when she saw the corner of his eyes crinkle.
She had noticed something different recently whenever she was around Steve. His touches always seemed to linger, or the sound of his laughter somehow stained the air around her. She wasn’t sure how that was possible, but even after he left the room she could still hear the rich sound waiting around, ringing throughout her ears. As if it wanted to taunt her. And not to mention his apparent need to always see her.
She had told herself weeks ago she was over him. He would never like her. They both verbally agreed that he only saw her as a friend and that was all they would be.
Steve coughed, attempting to break the silence. His expression made it seem like he had been trying to find the right words to say something. “So, did you see that Girls Just Want to Have Fun is showing at the drive-in on Saturday?”
She almost jumped in her seat. “Wait? Really? That’s my favorite movie!”
Steve smiled. He knew it was her favorite. Once he looked at her account and saw she had rented it a month straight once the store started to carry it. “Oh! I had no clue. Well, um…” He scratched his neck. “If you’re not busy do you want to go with me?”
“Yeah! I mean I’m not busy. I’d love to!” She grabbed her bag on the ground and dug around until she found her pocket calendar. “What time?”
Steve took a moment to relish her excitement, taking note how it made her eyes brighter. “Uh… seven.”
She nodded, scribbling down the plan on the calendar for Saturday. “That’s a perfect excuse to return Robin a book I borrowed from her.”
His face fell. “Robin?”
She didn’t seem to notice the shift. “This is so exciting!”
“Do you think I meant… Y/n I was kind of hoping… what I meant was that I wanted it to be just-”
Steve’s words were cut off as the front door opened. Y/n’s demeanor changed. Steve watched her closely as she sat up straighter, wiped her blazer of any crumbs, and looked at herself in the reflection of the computer in front of her.
He turned in his seat to see who had walked in that made her react in such a way.
It was a tall, clean, short haired man. “Hello, Y/n.” He was soft-spoken but somehow carried an assertive energy. Steve had to do a double take to realize it was Mike Lewinski. He was an old basketball teammate from school. And apparently over the summer he had had a makeover.
“Mike?” Steve stood up, allowing the third party to recognize his presence.
“Harrington? Wow, man. I thought it was only rumors that you stuck around.” He looked at the Family Video vest, before holding out his hand. “What brings you to my dad’s office?”
Steve was hesitant, but took it nonetheless, both their grips tight as if challenging one another silently. “Oh… I was just having lunch with Y/n.”
Mike looked over the girl who had also stood up in the meantime, smiling bashfully at him. “Y/n, I wasn’t aware you were seeing someone.”
She shook her head. “We’re not together!”
Steve turned around quickly from her eagerness to turn down the accusation. He faced Mike again. “Yeah, we have lunch sometimes whenever I’m not busy.”
“Ah.” Mike smiled. Almost like he was relieved. “Is my father in his office?”
Y/n stuttered. “Oh… yeah! You’re good. He doesn’t have any meetings today.”
He smiled and nodded. “Good to see you, Harrington. We should go out to the Hideaway sometime.”
“Yeah.”
Mike walked past him and towards his father’s office, stopping when he reached next to Y/n. She smiled nervously as he looked at her closely. “Did you cut your hair?”
Instinctively, she touched it, smiling. “Yes, I did.” She didn’t.
“I like it. It suits you.” Mike gave another curt nod, before walking into his father’s office.
Y/n giggled to herself, sitting back down in her chair.
Steve, on the other hand, couldn’t believe the monstrosity he had just witnessed. His jaw ticked the longer he thought about Meathead Mike and Y/n, in the words of Robin, eye canoodling. “You haven’t done anything with your hair.”
Y/n looked up, brows furrowed. “Huh?”
“He asked if you cut your hair and you said yes. You haven’t cut it. You just have it in a different style.” He pointed.
She scoffed. “So what? I was only being nice.”
“You were flirting,” he argued.
Y/n had had enough. She looked at the door behind her before jumping to her feet. She stormed around the desk, grabbing his wrist, and pulled him outside. “What the hell is with you?”
Steve pulled his arm away so he could cross them against his chest. And almost like a child, he looked away from her. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You’re unbelievable.” She had to walk away for a moment to take a deep breath privately before returning. “You’ve been so strange lately. And now you’re upset because you think I was flirting with someone.”
“I’m not upset.”
“Right… fine. I’m not going to argue with you about it. I’m just having a hard time understanding you, Steve. I mean you go from not talking to me at all to coming to my work every day with lunch. Why?” In that moment, she hoped that secretly all this time had been his way of telling her he liked her.
It was promising because he had taken a step closer to her. His eyes drooped, vulnerable and harboring a secret he had been holding in.
When he saw her flirt with Mike, he realized that he had taken too long to decipher his feelings and thoughts about her. She had moved on and followed through with their mutual promise to be friends. He swallowed the thickness stuck in his throat, dropping his arms to his sides. “You’re right. I have been acting strange.”
Y/n’s heart skipped a beat.
“I have been feeling something for weeks and I wasn’t sure how to express it,” he continued.
The corners of her mouth lifted, stepping closer to him, grabbing his hand. “Steve, it’s okay. You can tell me.”
He looked down, ashamed. “I’ve felt guilty about you quitting because of me.” His voice was soft but almost ear-deafening at the same time.
She closed her eyes to process what he had said. “You… you’ve been bringing me lunch every  day because you felt guilty about me quitting?”
Steve nodded. “You took the fall for me and then I ended up with your job. I feel like an asshole.”
Y/n bit her lip, letting go of his hand. However, she smiled reassuringly. “I’m going to kill Robin for telling you.”
“Please don’t. Her ghost will come back and kill me.”
They shared a laugh.
Steve looked through the window at the closed office door. “Mike’s a good guy.”
“Yeah. I know.” She smiled sadly, looking at her watch. “Your break is over.”
Steve took a deep breath. “Right. You know, about Saturday. I completely forgot that I have to pull a double so I don’t think I’ll be able to go.” He put his hand on top of his head, pretending as if it had just come to him.
She tried not to look upset. “It’s okay. I forgot I have to babysit.” It was a lie. And maybe deep down he knew it, but he didn’t show any reaction.
Instead, he left her with a half-hearted smile and dirty tupperware that he forgot to take with him. She had taken it home and washed it so it would be returned cleaned. But the rest of the week, Steve didn’t show up at his regular time. Anytime she called the store and asked for him, someone always gave the excuse that he was busy. By Friday, Y/n had packed her own lunch for the first time in weeks.
***
Robin Buckley had never been a flashy person. She hated the attention on her. And she only said things to strangers if she absolutely had to.
So when her, Steve and Y/n were at the diner and she brought up wanting to have an eighteenth birthday party, Steve was taken aback. Y/n on the other hand, squealed. “Oh my god! That will be so much fun. Don’t you agree, Steve?” They had only recently started to be okay again. But there were still moments when the energy between them was tense.
He didn’t look at her. “Yeah, I guess.”
Y/n hit his shoulder. “This is Robin’s only eighteenth birthday. Of course she’d want to have a huge party.”
“I never said anything about it being huge,” Robin interjected.
Y/n waved her hand as if she was waving off what her friend had just said. “Leave the planning to me. Steve can we have it at your-”
“Whatever.” He glanced at his watch, getting out of the booth. “I have to go pick up Dustin and his geek squad.” He finally looked at Y/n as he laid some cash to cover his bill on the table. “Robin can tell me more at work tomorrow.”
Once he left, she let out a huff. “He has some nerve.”
Robin waited a moment before replying. “He’s been pissy lately because Dustin has been hanging out with Eddie Munson more than him.”
“He’s so moody,” she complained.
Robin only hummed.
The party was more than what Robin had imagined. People she had never spoken to filled the empty spaces of the Harrington household. They had no clue who she was, but it didn’t matter because there was free alcohol and they were all too drunk to ask.
Robin stood next to Y/n, shyly saying thanks to all the people who wished her a happy birthday. She took a sip from her cup, cringing at the taste. Y/n chuckled, leaning over to Robin, grabbing her arm for support. “No one’s forcing you to drink that.”
Robin, as if proving a point, chugged the rest, wiping her mouth. “It’s my birthday. Once I get drunk enough, it will taste like water.”
They shared a fit of drunken giggles. Y/n looked across the room to see Steve leaned against the wall, a red-solo cup in his hand, talking to a blonde. She felt her stomach twist and the only remedy was the rum punch in her hand. “I need to get laid.”
“W-what about that one guy…” Robin snapped her fingers trying to recall the name. “Meathead!”
“Meathead?” She thought for a moment. “You mean Mike?” Mike Lewinski had asked her out for coffee a few weeks ago. Nothing had gone wrong, in fact he was nice, but their conversations fell flat and uninteresting. Both of them had agreed there would be no future dates.
“Ah, right. His name was Mike. I was thinking about what Steve had called him the other day.” She frowned when she looked inside her empty cup. Unsure where it all had gone. “I need more to drink.”
The two girls walked through the crowd to get to the kitchen. “Why were you and Steve talking about me and Mike?”
Robin’s shoulders tensed, glancing back to look at her. “Oh… uh… we weren’t.”
Y/n could read through the blatant lie. She finished her drink rather than calling out Robin. She chose to drink a beer next, taking one out of the ice chest at the end of the island. She asked if Robin wanted one, but the girl didn’t reply.
She looked up to see her staring across the room. Following her gaze, Y/n’s eyes landed on a tall thin girl. Her hair was fiery red and curly. Freckles scattered on her face as if a painter had flicked their brush. She noticed Robin was looking at her. She smiled sweetly and gave her a tiny wave before returning to her conversation.
Robin had raised her hand, blushing profusely. The dots seemed to connect for Y/n. “You know, you should go talk to her.”
Robin snapped around, eyes huge, like she had been caught red-handed. “I- wasn’t…” She let out an exasperated sigh. “Her name’s Vickie. She’s in band with me.”
“She’s cute. I honestly didn’t expect that from you.”
“Well, most people don’t expect me to be a lesbian.”
Y/n giggled. “No, I meant I didn’t expect you to be into red-heads.”
She wasn’t sure how many drinks she had had in her system by the time she needed to use the bathroom. The air had turned stale from the sweaty bodies that polluted the house. It didn’t help that people came back inside after smoking cigarettes or weed, the stench still clinging onto their clothes.
The only bathroom that was open to guests was downstairs. The line wasn’t long, but it seemed to drag the longer she waited and the more she needed to use it. She leaned her body against the wall next to her, letting the chilled surface cool her hot cheeks.
She stood straight when Steve stumbled through the hallway. At first he didn’t notice her until she slurred his name. He stopped, and chuckled at her state. “Why are you by yourself?”
Y/n reached out and drunkenly grabbed his hand, pulling him closer. He didn’t fight it. In fact, he took his other hand and put it on top, his thumb rubbing hers. She went to her tip toes so she put her mouth close to his ear. “Robin is flirting with girls.”
Steve’s expression seemed panicked. “How’d you…?”
“Stevie, I’m a genius. I was bound to find out someday.” She giggled as if she had said the funniest thing in the world. “I let her flirt so I could wait in like to piss. I have to piss so bad.”
Steve looked at the line in front of her, sighing. “Come on.” He wrapped his arm around her. Maybe to support her. Or maybe just an excuse to touch her. He led her away from the bathroom and towards the staircase.
As they ascended, many people gave them strange looks. And some were jealous, thinking that Steve Harrington had found the girl he would spend the night with.
Y/n had known Steve as a close friend for months, and even had come over more than she could count on two hands, but she had never been inside his room. It was neat and smelled like mahogany and his cologne.
He let go of her, pointing towards another door. “Uh… there’s my bathroom.”
She smiled, thanking him before going inside. It was fairly large. A long counter with products scattered on the top. He had one of those walk in showers with glass doors.
She looked behind her just to be sure before sneaking over, picking up a nearly empty bottle of shampoo, opening and taking a sniff. Yep, it smelled exactly like him. Sweet but also like the outdoors during winter.
When she finished and walked back outside, Steve was laying on his bed, legs dangled over the side, eyes closed. She let out a breath that resembled a laugh. She walked over to him, sitting on the side and looked down.
A stray hair had fallen to his forehead. She couldn’t help but reach out and use her pointer finger to brush it back. She jumped when his eyes snapped open. “I didn’t mean to disturb you.”
He groaned, sitting up. He looked bad. Not because he had drunk a lot but also because he looked as if he hadn’t slept well lately.
“We should get back to the party,” Y/n suggested.
“No.” He had said it quickly, like a snap. It wasn’t meant to be harsh, but he realized how rash he sounded. “Sorry. I had meant I wanted to stay here for a bit. But you can go.”
She bit her lip. Surely he didn’t think she was going to leave him by himself. Instead of words, she grabbed his hand. Silently saying she would stay.
A few minutes passed by of the two of them sitting in the dark room, listening to voices from outside. The moon casted a milky light through his window, making shadows dance on the wall in front of them. Y/n nudged Steve, laughing. “Am I super drunk, or does that shadow on the wall look like a dick?”
Steve narrowed his eyes, trying to see what she was looking at. His shoulder brushed against hers as he joined in her laughter. “Yeah. It really does.”
“It compliments the room well,” she joked.
He pushed his body into her side softly. “I’ll think about it next time we redecorate the house. I think my mom will be ecstatic.”
There was a beat where they laughed harder, looking at one another. She had taken her hand away from him to cover her mouth. He had taken his hands and covered his face. Y/n took note how they were large enough to hide all of his features.
The laughter subdued gradually, both of them putting their hands back into their laps as they calmed down. Y/n sighed to fill in the silence. “I’m going to go find Robin. She’s probably looking for me. Do you want to come with me?”
“I think I’m going to stay here for a few more minutes. You know, so no one gets the wrong idea.” He smirked.
She scoffed. “I think they already had the wrong idea when you brought me up here.” She smiled. “Thank you, by the way. I probably would’ve pissed my pants if it weren’t for you.”
He rolled his eyes. “Don’t be dramatic.”
She pushed him slightly. “Asshole.” The pair locked eyes, making her stomach flip. “Seriously, thank you.” She slowly leaned in, hesitant, placing a tender kiss on his cheek.
She pulled away to get up, but Steve’s hand flew to her wrist, forcing her to stay. She was shocked, a small gasp escaped her. Even though they were already looking at one another, he seemed to be searching for something in her eyes. His Adam’s apple bobbed as his thumb swiped her cheek. “You had an eyelash,” he mumbled.
“Oh.” The back of her neck started to feel warm. “Was that all?”
“You’re so pretty.”
And it was like all the energy at the top of the rollercoaster that seemed to build over the months had finally reached the top, falling. Their lips connected. And it was more than Y/n had expected as they moved like static rubbing together, electrifying from her lips to her toes.
When she moaned, Steve took the opportunity to kiss her open-mouthed, drinking in the sound that followed. His hand gripped her hip, pulling her closer. It had to be all a dream. She needed to tangle her fingers in his hair unless he would slip away.
This wasn’t the first time she had touched his hair. Sometimes she would ruffle it when he was irritating her, or when they hung out he would lay his head on lap as she brushed her fingers through. But this time was different. It felt dirty.
He was the first to break away, his chest heaving, lips swollen, and eyes darkened. He shuddered when she went straight for his jaw, leaving a trail of kisses to his ear, slightly grazing her teeth on the lobe.
“Babe, I’m going to cum if you do that again.” He moved his head so he could place another kiss on her lips, then on her neck.
“Say that again,” she whispered.
“What?” He kissed and sucked on a spot that made her gasp his name. “Do you want me to call you babe? Was that it?”
“Yes, please.” She dug her nails into his shoulders, clenching her eyes when his hand slipped under her shirt.
“You have no idea how worked up you have me, babe.”
She placed a hand on his thigh, feeling the bulge through the denim of his jeans. She gave him a smug expression. “I think I have an idea.” She swung her leg over his so she could straddle him. Thankful for the skirt she had chosen to wear when it rode up her thigh slightly. She bucked her hips so that she could feel him twitch through the thin fabric of her underwear.
The kisses became sloppier and more heated as they continued to roam their hands all over one another.
Both their shirts ended up on the floor eventually. Followed by Y/n’s bra. His belt had been unbuckled to relieve him of the pressure.
With his mouth, he peppered kisses on her breasts, putting one in his mouth as he kneaded the other with his free hand. When he broke away, a string of saliva formed from her nipple to his lips.
He looked up at her, and he looked destroyed.
It had been everything she had dreamed. So why did she feel tears brim her eyes? She gave him a fierce kiss again, but it somehow felt… wrong. “I…” Her bottom lip quivered.
“Yes?” He tried to kiss her neck again, but she stopped him.
“I forgot about the cake!” She jumped off his lap, grabbing her bra and shirt, turning away from him to put them back on.
“Cake?” He seemed confused, pinching his nose.
“Yeah. Robin’s birthday cake. I completely forgot.” She hit her forehead with the palm of her hand. “Silly me.”
“Oh. Uh… yeah.” Steve’s disappointment was clear.
“Good thing I remembered. Or else we would’ve made a huge mistake.” She laughed awkwardly.
Steve stood up as well to put his shirt back on. “Mistake?”
Y/n turned back around once she was decent again. “Oh come on. We’re both very drunk. You know this wouldn’t have happened any other way.”
Steve let out a huff, running his hands through his already messy hair. His jaw ticked, refraining from saying anything else. No longer aroused, he buckled his belt and stormed past her out of his room.
It was three in the morning when Steve kicked out the last guest. Y/n and Robin were the only ones left, cleaning up all the trash around the house. Steve walked into the living room where they were giggling. And almost immediately, the energy shifted. They fell silent as he stood there, hands on his hips.
“I’m going to take a shower and go to bed. I made sure the guest room is ready.” He didn’t allow a response before he turned on his heels and left the room.
Robin waited until she heard his door shut from upstairs before opening her mouth. “Jeez. What’s his deal?”
“Who knows?” Y/n shoved a handful of trash into a bag, a bit too aggressively.
Robin eyed her for a moment, rolling her eyes. “Jesus, you two hooked up, didn’t you?”
She almost dropped what she was holding. Nevertheless, she tried to pretend not to react. “Not sure what you mean by that.”
“Oh come on. You both disappeared for an unnatural amount of time and both came back looking like a hot mess. Also your shirt has been on backwards.” Robin smirked. She was smug and had been waiting for the perfect chance to finally say her deductions out loud.
Y/n looked down, and sure enough her shirt had been backwards the whole time. Robin probably had noticed right away. Cheeky. “We didn’t hook up. We only…” She couldn’t find the right words.
“Canoodled?” Robin wiggled her brows.
Y/n threw an empty cup at her, and although she was embarrassed, she felt a laugh come up. “You’re sick, you know that?”
The brunette shrugged. “You’re sick for hooking up with our friend on my birthday.”
“Your birthday isn’t until Monday.”
Robin pointed at her. “That’s a technicality.”
She rolled her eyes, looking up at the ceiling, trying to imagine what Steve was doing. “I think I hurt his feelings.”
Robin sighed, making Y/n wonder about their conversation earlier in the night when her and Steve had talked about Y/n and Mike. Had Robin been in-between the whole time? “He’ll get over it.”
She frowned and shook her head. “No, this time it was different. I said it was a mistake.”
Her friend looked up to the sky, mouthing the words “Just kill me now.” She let a beat go by. “You two are ridiculous. It’s like cat and mouse with feelings. First you think he doesn’t like you, then he doesn’t think you like him, and then you do whatever the hell you did tonight and you still think he doesn’t like you. Everyone in a two-mile radius can tell you like one another. Hell, people in Illinois can tell. Should we tattoo it on both your foreheads? ‘I have a big fat crush on Dingus one’ and ‘I have a big fat crush on Dingus two’?”
“Thanks, Robin. You know how to cheer a girl up.” Y/n’s mouth drooled with sarcasm.
“I’d die for the two of you, but I can only take so much.” She clutched her heart dramatically.
Y/n didn’t answer, ashamed, a sheepish expression painted on her face. And it all felt obvious what she needed to do and say. She could go upstairs right now and make everything okay between her and Steve. But, she was too stubborn and instead planned on forgetting what had happened that night.
***
Trying to forget what had happened only lasted a week before she waltzed into Family Video on her break the next Friday. Steve was behind the counter helping the same blonde from Robin’s birthday party. She had giggled at something Steve had said, reaching out and straightening his vest.
He looked over at the door, his face fell at the sight of his new customer. He turned his attention back to the blonde, and Y/n could hear him say, “Have a good day.” The girl looked disappointed when she had turned around, leaving the store. It was only the two of them. But why did it feel like there was so much noise going on?
Steve watched her stand there for a few seconds until he decided to act busy. LIke she was another customer.
She sighed and came up to the counter. “H-hi.”
Steve turned his back to her. “Hello, welcome to Family Video. How can I assist you?”
“Steve.” She was exasperated and wanted to get straight to the point.
He turned around, pretending to be shocked. “Oh! Y/n, didn’t realize it was you.” He looked at his watch. “Robin doesn’t work today. There’s a basketball game.”
“I know. I came to see you.” She lifted a paper sack in her hand, placing it on the counter. He had moved his head slightly, allowing her to catch the fading bruise on his neck. Her cheeks burned when she realized what it was. “I- I brought you lunch.”
Suddenly, she felt like she was back in that classroom when he had asked for a pencil. The months of getting comfortable around him had vanished, and all words were stuck on her tongue, unable to escape. “I already ate lunch.”
He was lying and she knew he was. He turned back around, ignoring her again. She felt the anger rise, she violently grabbed the sack, throwing it loudly in the trash can by the door. Just as she was about to leave, her hand on the handle, she took a deep breath. “I know I hurt your feelings, but that gives you no right to be mean to me.” She turned around.
He was no longer messing with anything but he still faced the opposite way. She chose to continue, “I came here to make things okay. To tell you I’m sorry.”
“Sorry for what you said or sorry for kissing me?”
She groaned in frustration, putting her palms on her temples, rubbing them. She didn’t want to lose her cool, but he was making it painfully hard. “Of course I’m not sorry for kissing you-”
He snapped around. “But you still think it was a mistake, right?”
She opened her mouth but quickly closed it, clenching her jaw. A tear betrayed her, rolling down her cheek. “Do you know why I first started to like you?”
He folded his arms across his chest, motioning for her to continue.
“I liked you because the first thing I learned was that you cared about others before yourself. It might sound silly, because it is, but when I was five years old, you kissed me after making me cry. This entire time I had just thought I liked you in school because you were Steve Harrington. You were cute and I couldn’t help but feel butterflies when you asked me for a pencil in seventh grade because there was a sparkle that shone in your stupid brown eyes. But I also thought that’s all it was, a school crush that I wouldn’t even remember in twenty years.
“But then you had to get a job here and make me realize how that guy in school wasn’t as selfish as everyone made him out to be. I saw it every time you made sure to be at the counter when Mrs. Higgins came in because you know she doesn’t like me. I saw it every time Dustin came around and you made sure he wasn’t in trouble. I saw it every time you came to my work and brought me lunch when I never asked you to.” She wiped the flood pouring down her face, trying to keep it together.
Steve’s face had fallen but he continued to stand there frozen.
She let out a sob, her lip quivered, looking at the ground so he couldn’t see her puffy eyes. “No, I don’t think kissing you was a mistake. I was only afraid because although the more I got close to you, and the more I liked you, the more I considered you a friend. And it felt like we were just hooking up. So it felt wrong.” She looked up at him, sniffling. “I’m sorry.” She gave him a half-hearted smile and left the store.
She began her walk back to the office, which wasn’t that far from the store. She had only gotten a few feet away when she heard the bell hastily ring, and hurried footsteps pounded against the pavement behind her. “Wait! Y/n!”
She wiped more tears on her sleeve, pushing back the lump in her throat when she turned around. His hair was disheveled and eyes red. “You didn’t give me a chance to talk.” His voice was softer than earlier. More careful, trying not to upset her. He brushed his thumb over her cheek. “I made you cry again.”
“I-it’s okay,” she mumbled.
“No, it’s not. I let my pride get in the way.” He licked his lips. “You were wrong.”
“What?” She was unsure what he meant.
Hesitant, he took her hand in his, looking at it and then back up at her. “What happened wasn’t a hook-up to me. I had been trying to ask you out for weeks but I thought you might have moved on. And when we were in my room at the party I couldn’t help but notice the moon made you glow. You looked beautiful, and I couldn’t help but finally kiss you.” He let out an awkward chuckle. “I definitely got carried away.”
She smiled shyly. “You tried to ask me out?” She gasped, eyes wide, and covered her face. “Oh my god. That’s why you asked to go to the drive-in. You wanted it to be a date.”
He laughed at her reaction, nodding. “Don’t worry. I was a little rusty. You make me nervous.”
She smirked, poking him in the chest. “What? I make Steve Harrington nervous?”
He rolled his eyes, but grinned cheekily nonetheless. “Can you blame me? I did just admit how pretty I think you are.”
There was a beat as they locked eyes. He reached out and put his hand on the side of her face, stepping closer, parting his lips as his face neared hers.
However, she stopped him. She raised her brows and let a smug smile appear. “You’re going to kiss me even though you haven’t asked me on a date yet?”
Flabbergasted, Steve laughed in disbelief. “Seriously?”
She took a step back and crossed her arms. Mimicking what he did to her earlier.
He sighed and stood up straight. He then cleared his throat dramatically. “Y/n, would you do me the honor of accompanying me to a nice dinner tomorrow night?”
She gave him a toothy smile, giggling. “I’d be very delighted.”
“Pick you up at seven?” He asked.
She nodded. “Perfect.”
“Okay, then I guess I’ll see you then.” Steve took her hand, placing a soft kiss. He gave her a sweet goodbye before he turned around to go back to the store which probably had been left unoccupied for too long.
She looked at her watch, seeing that she still had fifteen minutes left of her break. Smiling to herself, she chased after Steve, tapping him on the shoulder before he reached the door. He turned around, brows furrowed, probably wondering if she had forgotten something.
She grabbed him by the vest, pulling him towards her, their lips crashed against one another. He was shocked at first. However, he melted when her lips started to push and pull against his. His hand wrapped around to the small of her back, the other on the back of her neck, pulling her closer.
And they both felt like they were floating in the air. To her, it was like that random Tuesday in December, where her stomach fluttered and her heart pounded against her chest. It felt surreal. It was more than she had imagined.

This is what being a woman was, at least now it was. Seeing the world for the real evil it was. Your dad was your protector, so he always managed to keep you safe. No matter what he’d never be able to keep you from them. Men, boys, people with dicks, all of them.
The worse part of it all was having to deal with it alone. Your dad was a FBI agent, your best friend is the unit chiefs son, you knew they would kill whoever hurt you.
Hiding it from everyone you knew was going to catch up to you sooner as in today. It was a normal morning, you forced yourself to exist for half the day.
Already prepared for a nap before you fully wake up. As you get up your dad opens the door catching you off guard. It scared the shit out of you.
Jumping as he opened the door Spencer took notice fast. He knew something was up, of course he knew.
He noticed how jumpy you were particularly around boys, not even wanting to spend time with Jack anymore. Spencer also noticed how quiet you were now.
Always being the loudest and silliest in the room to almost nothing, it concerned him a lot.
“Goodmoring love, I made your lunch and packed up your bag from last night, also you can come right to the office after school.” Spencer smiled as you listened quietly,
“Ok thanks dad.” You said as you got up walking past him to the bathroom. It wasn’t always like this, you weren’t always like this but this is what happens when you’re raped during during cheer practice.
You felt it was no point in saying anything, considering the fact they are both the most known and a very well liked boys at school, it’s no point.
It hurt you alot having to see then in the halls, you started taking the longer way to class because of it.
Justin was a piece of shit but he was on the football and baseball team so that meant he could do no wrong. Dyllan his little puppet was also a piece of shit because he did everything Justin told him. You quickly got ready for school and headed out to start the rest of your day.
For Spencer he was just worried about you. Your shyness, quietness, and jumpiness wasn’t putting his mind at ease. Just like you he swallowed it down and headed to the office.
The case was as bad and it was local. Boys from schools around the area have been being murdered for what the team thought was for being weak.
The unsub was killing the boys because he didn’t think they were strong enough. They started with interviews at local schools and moved out more. They had a few to interview at your school.
The focus was the baseball team because most of the boys murdered were all on different baseball teams.
Justin Brown, Caleb Washington, and Dyllan Smith were all taking to the station for questions. First was Caleb he didn’t do it but they later discovered the boys were being told to show they aren’t weak or die. Caleb had to beat his younger brother in order to live.
The case honestly killed Spencer and anyone else with kids. Knowing how evil the ones around you are no matter the age. Next was Dyllan, which was interesting because he’s Justin best friend.
Dyllan got in interrogation and cracked completely. Telling Spencer and Morgan that it was Justin’s idea to do it and he didn’t mind helping him. First Dyllan had to pass Justin test to make sure he wasn’t going to switch on him.
“So, if you’re here what did Justin make you do?” Derek asked the boy,
“He told me I had to take a virginity from any girl at school.”
“So, he dared you to get a girlfriend?” Morgan asked sarcastically
“No he knew I wouldn’t be able to do that so he picked a girl from our schools cheer team and made me do it to her in the locker room. I could tell she was a virgin so I knew he wouldn’t think I was weak.” Dyllan said as if he did a good job for raping a girl.
Morgan and Reid freezing completely, Dyllan not even knowing he confessed to rape.
“Do you know the girls name?” Spencer spoke up knowing you and your best friends are on that team.
“He said it was Y…. y/n! Her name was y/n! He held her down while I had sex and he said I would be the strongest of them all” He said confessing more and more.
Dyllan really had no one but Justin all he wanted was his approval no matter what it was. Justin obviously knew this and just took advantage of him. You still wanted to kill them both for what they did to you.
Before he could continue Spencer sped across the table chocking Dyllan against the wall.
“I am going to kill you with my bare hands.” He said as he grabbed him by his neck. Morgan moving fast but not as fast. Everyone was angry at what was just said. The team was your aunts and uncles so they didn’t see anything wrong with Spencer reaction. After a few moments Derek pulled Spencer off and they both exited the room.
“Where’s Justin, I need to see him.” Spencer said frantically to Hotch.
“Spencer you know I can’t let you do that.” Hotch said firmly while trying to ccalm Spencer down.
“Aaron, he .. raped my daughter. My little girl, she’s been so closed off and quiet, he did that to her! I need to see him!” Spencer yelled at Aaron surprising everyone.
“Spence, maybe you should try to calm down for when Y/N get here.” JJ said looking at the time knowing you and jack always came here after school. It was only about 30 minutes before you’d be coming to the bullpen.
Taking JJ advice he removed himself from the situation and sat at his desk waiting for you. Staring at the picture of you and him with ice cream all over your mouths making silly faces.
It was from your 13th birthday party at Dave’s house when he brought an ice cream maker. It was the best day of your life thanks to your dad. His heart was aching at the pain you must have been in. Spencer dealt with some of his worse moments alone he never wanted the same for his child.
It was only 30 seconds until you’d be coming up on the elevator. The entire team finishing the paper work from the case as you walked into the bullpen. All heads snapped toward you with sympathetic faces.
“Hi everybody” you said quietly giving a short smile to everyone you seen.
“Hey, how are you feeling?” JJ asked as she approached which wasn’t off, you always talked to your Aunt JJ.
“I’m fine Aunt JJ” you smiled keeping you short and sweet as walked pass to go see your dad.
“Hey dad” sitting down in the chair next to him. As he replied and smiled at you. Everyone is being so weird.
“Why is everyone being so sad towards me?” You asked curiously, but before your dad could answer Justin and Dyllan were being taking out in handcuffs.
Your body was moving before your brain could, you were there again, in the locker room.
“Heeeeyyyyyy y/n” Justin taunted you as he walked passed you got up quickly and moved backwards away in a frantic matter almost knocking over the things on the desk behind you.
Your breathing was heavy and it felt as if you’d been punched in the stomach.
“No, No, please stop, I don’t want to I don’t want to.” You said as you curled into yourself on the floor in the corner. You wanted to just go home and lay in the bed for the rest of your life. Why did this happen to you?
You had noticed everyone watching you lose it but you didn’t care.
Your dad walked over to you and went to put a hand on your shoulder. Grabbing his hand quickly before he could touch you.
“Don’t touch me! Get off of me now!” You punched, screamed, and kicked just wanting the feeling of Dyllan and Justin off of you.
You were strong but Spencer didn’t mind getting punched in the face by you. Of course he knew the ins and out of trauma and ptsd. Not just his extensive knowledge but his own past.
“Y/n it’s me. Your dad I promise I won’t hurt. You’re at the BAu and you’re safe sweetie, your dads here.” He said softly being you back to reality. That’s when you broke In his arms.
It’s only been a few weeks since you were assaulted and you had been by yourself the entire time. Emily, JJ, and Morgan were all surrounding you hearts also broken.
“He raped me daddy” you cried into his shoulder
“Him and Justin raped me at the end of practice, I’m so sorry for not telling you.” you broke even more you needed your dad you would just never admit it.
“Don’t be sorry, you didn’t have to tell me if you couldn’t.” He said squeezing his daughter tighter. After that you both got up and headed home.
You quickly went to go shower the day off as your dad prepared your favorite dinner.
Spencer was nothing but heartbroken, he hated that this happened to you. Worse of all he couldn’t take away your pain. After your shower you quickly got dressed and headed to the kitchen.
You came out in a hoodie and sweats as you seen your dad pulling the pizza out the oven.
“Oh hey, I made your favorite.” He said turning to you with a smile. You not responding back, now that he knew you felt icky. Grabbing plates and drinks he brought it over to the counter and you both started to eat. The room was almost silent.
“Don’t look at me any differently please” you finally spit it out. You didn’t want to be looked at as a victim or someone you needed to wear kid gloves with.
“You are y/n and you always have been. You’re my daughter and I will never ever see you any differently.” He looked up from his plate with quickness reassuring her.
“Can I hug you?” He asked, you quickly got up and embraced your dad,
“I’ve got you always bug.” Hugging you even tighter, it finally felt like you could get through this.
