a/n: thank u so much for the request! This was super fun to write, took me back to 2019 when I started watching him :D either way hope you enjoy! (Sorry it took so long 😭 life’s been busy)

I feel like he’d be the type to fall in love with his best friend, or generally someone that he knows fairly well

Expect nights spent talking on the phone with him, laughing your asses off at memes and stupid games instead of doing homework

Or endless bike rides around the city, as if you didn’t do that one route million of times

Maybe even little lessons on the basics of boxing (he isn’t a very good teacher though, he’s too afraid to hurt you)

It comes naturally, his heartbeat starts to pick up every time he hears your voice, your laugh, you saying his name ugh

And you won’t stop leaving his mind, you’re always there, in every each one of his thoughts (might as well pay rent at this point)

Before he knows it, he’s noticing all the little details that make you, well, YOU

He’s in love.

Fuck.

He wouldn’t know what to do about his feelings, either he ignores them and buries this secret deep into his heart, or, after a scary amount of convincing from his friends, he confronts you with the shyest demeanor you’ve ever seen him wear

Assuming this is one of his first experiences, if not the first, he would be very cautious in his actions, not sure yet about how to handle a relationship, especially if it gets more serious

He wouldn’t talk about being in a romantic relationship for a while, mostly cause he doesn’t like to share his personal life too much, especially when it comes to romance

But is there a teenage boy that doesn’t like to brag about being in a relationship?

Would mention it once, casually, you know, to be cool and all

Like “yeah I have a partner” a little smile to top it off, nothing big, just a bit of something to feel swag

Nobody believed him.

The loud boy who screamed about the president 24/7 having a partner? Yeah nice try kiddo, go back to play your stupid videogames

At some point in his young carrier he got tired about the running joke of you being an illusion

“This is what too much screen time does to a person KEKW” chat would say, haha how funny (if you hadn’t notice, he’s being sarcastic)

As frustrating as it was to battle against hundreds of people on whether HE was in a relationship or not, he’d never ask you to do anything you are uncomfortable in doing

So, even if showing up on stream would probably help with this little problem of his, he’d encourage you to actually think carefully if you want to make an appearance or not

“I do have a partner!” Alex says for what feels like the fiftieth time that evening. He should probably give up, after all who cares if chat doesn’t believe him. He knows the truth and that’s enough. Right?

WRONG.

His credibility, and his pride, are in the way. Plus is he even that bad of a catch for people to think he can’t pull?

His head falls onto his hand, resting there as he lets his thoughts run while the fast stream chat on his monitor lights up his face in various dull colors.

You were sitting on a little chair, not too far away from him, staring at something in your phone. He did feel bad for inviting you over just for him to stream an hour later, but you had always said that you didn’t mind watching him since you liked seeing him do something he enjoyed. As if he didn’t enjoy spending time with you, but fine.

So he put his insecurities aside, most of them being about you possibly not liking his streams, and provided you a chair to at least sit comfortably as he robbed you of your time by going live yet again.

It had been going fairly well: he was checking out some horrible games in Roblox, or rather he had been screaming his lungs out for an hour straight, and of course, when a random kid on Roblox asked him to be his girlfriend, chat got back on their “no relationship, you are a loser” (he knows it’s a long name, he couldn’t come up with anything better okay??) agenda.

Your hand waving in his peripheral vision brought him back from his mind: he hadn’t realized he had zoned out.

He looked at you briefly, almost feeling bad for the worried stare you were giving him. He usually doesn’t feel this defeated after an unserious bickering with chat, but to say that this all situation wasn’t playing with his self-doubts would be lying. He’s fine though, he just feels a little gloomy today.

You turn your head to the side and give him a thumps up, voicelessly asking whether he was fine or not. And he just nods, giving you a little, forced, smile before going back to the bright monitor. He doesn’t like the thought of you being concerned about this. While, admittedly, it does feel nice to have someone worried about him, Alex never quite liked to be a bother to anyone. He could handle this alone.

Then why is his head so heavy? And why does he feel without energy all of a sudden? He just needs to do what he does best: push the pain away and walk forward. But even something as easy as that sounds impossible right now.

Maybe he should end stream.

He’s too lost in his own thoughts to realize you had stood from your chair, steadily approaching his setup. When he realizes what’s going on, it’s too late.

“You don’t-“ before the frantic words can leave his mouth, you were already behind him. You cross your arms down his chest, whilst your head, resting on the top of his beanie, being high enough to not get seen by the webcam.

Many things were going trough Alex’s mind, a lot of them being about how nice it felt being hold by you, but only two words left his lips:

“Who’s got no game now, huh?”.

At that point it would go from chat not believing him to chat teasing him endlessly about him being a simp

You two could do nothing and he would still be accused of it, just because you were there

Is it true? Yeah, but it was nonetheless a bit annoying

He WOULD bully you on stream when the secret is out

Chat: “do you like (Name) or Thanos more? Don’t lie”

“Well…” he’d say, scratching his neck in faux uneasiness.

“Don’t think about it what the fuck!”.

His chat took your relationship quite well, after all the time he wasn’t famous enough to have fans being jealous and obsessing over him

Actually you became kind of an icon of his channel

And he did milk this for content but it’s not like you didn’t encourage him, quite the contrary, so expect videos like “playing Roblox with my partner” or “The best Habbo raid ever w/(Name)”

As sweet as this all can be, we haven’t forgot about his light teasing (borderline bullying) on stream, have we?

Don’t worry, you got back at him with the help of Aksel countless of time, he’d be your partner in crime when it came to bullying Alex

You were watching meme compilations with them on stream, occasionally sharing some little laughs and snarky comments, and, one way or another, you somehow ended up talking about shampoos. Yes, shampoos.

“Honestly, I think 2 in 1 are gross” Alex says, spinning around in his chair while still keeping an eye on the running chat. You were sitting next to him in your usual simple wooden chair that he usually stole from his kitchen. It wasn’t much, and you could feel your thighs getting painted with the hard design of your seat, but it feels very homy, heart warming in its simplicity.

Yet, as comfortable and happy as you felt, you really couldn’t help spatting out the comment that had been dancing dangerously on the tip of your tongue, begging to be freed.

“And what would you know about it you bald fuck”.

Silence filled the room.

You start to grow worried you stepped over the line as you shoot guilty side-glances at him, trying to evaluate whether he was or wasn’t okay with your stupid joke. His spinning was getting gradually slower, and his eyes wide and open jaw came to view.

You’re able to let out a silent sigh of relief as Alex’s face sinks into a, clearly exaggerated, offended pout.

“Have you heard them?? Defend me Aksel what the hell” he cries dramatically, his mindless spinning coming at a halt to stare into the soul of his screen, specifically at the man that is lightly grinning right back at him.

“I mean.. they’re kinda right man..” he mutters in his typical monotone voice, barely holding back an amused snicker.

Alex’s look of betrayal was probably the funniest shit you had seen in a while.

“Why are you two ganging up on a Mexican guy huh??”

“Awww the Mexican card? No better come back??” you laugh smugly, your face screaming “triumph” as he gawks at you.

“You truly found your match” Aksel laughs, adjusting his bucket hat as he leaned down on his office chair.

“Shut the fuck up” he mumbles before looking away from you with a huff.

Oh God does he love you.

Moving on though, these were harsh years for him, so he needs lots of love and support from his partner

I think it’d be too soon to have full on cuddling sessions, but i see him loving your touch, especially if it’s something domestic like a simple hug or a little caress down his back

Not really into PDA either, but he would find comfort in holding your hand whenever he’s tense or even just cold

It’s a reminder you are still by his side despite all of his flaws and insecurities, you chose him

Idia, Riddle, Malleus, Lilia react to fem!reader calling them "pretty"

Idia

Yeah, he had a crush on you, he just didn't think you would consider him pretty, let alone anywhere close to attractive.

He has low self-esteem and doesn't speak out in class. But for some reason, this time when you were choosing who to be part of a group project with, you chose him. You even called him "pretty" out of all things!

Idia swore he felt his hair flame up, he must've shouted in surprise or something because the entire class was staring at him. Oh Great Seven this was all just getting more and more unbearable for him, he wanted to run out of class

Instead, he just nodded awkwardly, sat back down, and put his head on the desk. You approached him after class to ask if he was okay, and he gave out a stammered "Y-yeah I'm good, glad to be working with you."

You might've already known he had a massive crush on you because he's so shy and nervous around you (more than he is with others). It's kinda cute to see him so flustered

Riddle

He wanted to work with the smartest people in the class but because he was already doing so well the teachers never really let him choose who he wanted to work with. Instead, others got to choose or it was a randomly generated group.

You were choosing because you were new to the school, and he was expecting you to choose him because he knew the class material well, but what he didn't expect was you calling him "pretty"

He wasn't angry, he was rather flattered actually. But with the way his face got a bit red and he just stared at you made you wonder if he was okay haha. If anything, he was more than okay, his crush just acknowledged that he was attractive!

After class he was the first one in the group to approach you and talk to you about the upcoming project. "I hope to work well with you and the others," he smiled. He was polite, much more gentle around you than he was with others (which confused the hell out of Deuce and Ace)

Riddle might show his crush on you time to time while you work on the project. He'll be a little bit softer around you, maybe show off how much he knows about the subject, etc. But if you compliment him, expect him to be a stuttering mess

Malleus

He doesn't show a lot of emotions outside, mainly because no one really talks to him nor does he have anything outstanding to react to. However, he did catch an interest in you and now most people have caught him staring at you in class haha

The first time anyone in the class saw him laughing or even smiling however was when you chose him as your partner for a project. You called him "pretty," something no one in the class would dare call one of the strongest magic users in Twisted Wonderland, it was far too cute!

Malleus really liked that compliment, asking you in front of the class if you really thought he was pretty. "Yeah, I mean nice eyes?" you shrug, everyone in the class is just amazed at how brave you are haha. Malleus definitely gushed about this his head or to Lilia later in the day

I feel like most of the class wanted to tell you Malleus's not-so-secretive crush on you but you might've already figured it out. For the project, you two will likely hang out in Ramshackle the most because it's much more spacious there with only two students occupying it (plus some ghosts)

Malleus doesn't really know how to handle a crush very well, nor what to say when he thinks you look pretty. You will catch him staring at you a lot though, it's just sort of like a soft smile and a bit of a hazy look in his eyes

Lilia

He's known for being a bit of a teaser around the school. He pulls pranks on students, sometimes has nicknames for people, and usually is pretty carefree. Because of this, it was hard to tell if he had a crush on someone or not, though some people looking close at him would've noticed him staring at you more often

When you called him pretty for the first time in front of your class, he probably didn't realize you were talking about him. Lilia was busy doodling in class that he didn't realize the entire class was staring at him. "Hm? Did something happen?" Lilia asked. "You're gonna be y/n's partner," one of the students said. "Oh! I'm the pretty one you're talking about?" he smiled at you.

It's a nice compliment, he'll say that you look cute yourself after class. He's really good at hiding his crush from you, even when you two are alone on the project he's pretty chill. However, every small compliment you give him does leave him feeling a bit happier in the day

Will he prank you more because he has a crush on you? Yes. Expect him to appear upside down multiple times in a week, jumpscare you really badly when you're running to get a midnight snack, etc. He thinks it's cute but with how well you react to the pranks you might as well prank him in return

Overall, expect him to use the "pretty boy" nickname a lot. It's sort of like a cute memory for him, especially because his crush called him attractive

AFTERGLOW #005. collab

it’s been a month with the same old routine. yeonjun sitting behind me so i can sit next to karina. for the most part, i guess i’ve been getting used to it, it’s just so awkward. i have wanted to talk with her but, every time i try to talk to her no words are able to come out of my mouth.

“y/n! are you even listening to what i’m saying?!” i look over at yeonjun who’s been glaring at me for not listening to him. “sorry, i zoned out for a minute there.” i say as we arrive at the front doors of the class. “whatever i’ll tell you what i was saying later.” he says annoyingly as we enter the classroom, and go to our seats.

as every student is settling in for the lecture to begin, the professor suddenly speaks up, “Good morning class.” he smiles at everyone and continues, “As you may all know, i give out two major important projects to you students throughout the year. One in the beginning of the year, and finally one at the end of the year. These projects will severely impact your grade so if you miss at least one of these, you will automatically fail this class.”

The professor walks to his computer as he projects something on the whiteboard. “For this first assignment i will let you choose the person of your choice to work with.” As he says this i look back over at yeonjun who’s already chatting it up with his desk partner, or should i say, “new friend.” yeonjun looks at me and says, “sorry y/n i have a partner already.” i can see a smile slowly starts to creep onto his face. he had this all planned i bet. waiting for the teacher to assign a project so i can be stuck to do it with karina. what an asshole. i turn back as a sigh leaves my lips.

i suddenly hear a voice to the left of me speak up. “i guess since there’s no one else for us to partner up with, it’s just the both of us then?” i look at karina whose sitting next to me, “yeah, i guess its just us two then.” i say awkwardly. the teacher soon explains that this project is going to be a duet with our partner. “This is why i’ve been showing all you students new techniques to better your singing voices. continue to talk this over with your partner until class ends. pick a good song that suits BOTH of your voices and make me proud students.” He gently smiles as he sits back down at his desk. “if you have any questions please come up to my desk and talk to me about it. other than that, good luck to all of you students.”

karina clears her throat as she speaks up, “so for our song… do you have any ideas?” i think for a second and answer, “well if you’re still a big taylor swift fan as you were back then, then mayb-“ she cuts me off abruptly “yes!” she suddenly shouts out, “oh sorry…” her and i laugh at her sudden action. “well then, any taylor song in mind?” i question her. i can tell that she’s in deep thought over which song to choose, so i decide to help her out. “how about ‘I wish you would’?” i know this is karina’s favorite song which is why i said this. karina’s face suddenly lights up and she smiles, “that’s perfect.”

as we continue chatting it up about the project our professor suddenly tells us that the class is now dismissed. “wow i didn’t even realize we’ve been talking for that long.” karina says. “yeah same haha.” “i’ll text you more about the project then later today?” “yeah sounds good.” i say as she gets up to leave the classroom. and then the sudden realization hits me. she still has my number saved? yeonjun looks at me and starts to smile, “what are you blushing about y/n?” he cooes at me as he pokes me. “shut up!” i say as i swat his hand away from me, which just makes him laugh even more than he already is.

Okay seriously: How do you think the NXX is going to react if they overhear Marius making a flirty comment about them?

For instance: Luke shows Marius a picture of Vyn and Marius makes a comment like "The worst thing about Vyn is how hot he is, it drives me insane."

Not knowing that Vyn was outside the room and heard that.

well first off, i want it known that everybody in the nxx actually probably has a crush on artem's frying pan, and FOR GOOD REASON. artem's kitchen utensils, tools, and appliances are of the Highest Quality and also theyre SEXY. actually, marius has a crush on the pan (artem looks really good flambe-ing stuff), luke has crush on the knives (he loves a good weapon....uh he meant kitchen apparatus, totally), mc has a crush on the pots (love is stored in the SOUP), and vyn has a crush on the stand mixer (NOT on artem, he would like to make that clear) (marius, luke, and mc dont believe him, they think this is vyn being a tsundere about how he secretly wants to hate-kiss artem into oblivion)

the nxx team's reactions to overhearing marius making flirty comments about them

i wont delve too much into mc because we already know how she'd react given we see it in-game whenever marius says flirty things right to her Face: she gets all blushy -> she gets unimpressed -> "MARIUS! VON!! HAGEN!!!"

and she is so cute for that. frankly, her overhearing comments like this instead of being told it outright (oftentimes with a teasing expression) would make her feel more flattered, because "oh, he really thinks im attractive? it's not just a tease to rile me up? O////O"

which brings me to

luke, who i think would have a reaction rather similar to mc's: he overhears -> he gets all blushy -> he mentally backpedals with "OH HES JUST TEASING, HE MUST JUST BE MESSING WITH ME, HAHA, OH MARIUS, YOU JOKER!!!"

but given that this is an Overheard Instance of Flirting, luke's logic would then say "but if hes messing with you, why is he telling someone else instead of You (the person he is allegedly messing with)", to which luke would internally reply with "i dont know!! but theres no way he actually thinks im cute because!! WHAT!!! i-im not cute, im just—not that i WISH he thought i was cute, it's just! yknow!!! //frantic and aimless gesticulating" and then

vyn, walking past where luke is in the nxx hallway: what on earth are you doing there just muttering to yourself and waving your hands around?

luke: NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS //pulls out a smoke bomb from nowhere, throws it on the ground, and runs away

meanwhile, it takes artem a While to even realize that marius was being flirty in the comment he overheard. like im imagining it was something that, if you were an Ace (as in asexual) Attorney like artem is, the comment was either innocuous or metaphorical enough that it TOTALLY flies over artem's head

until days later when artem mentions it to someone else and it's like

mc: artem. oh my god. that means he thinks youre SEXY

and then he just goes silent as his brain bluescreens VKJHSFSD

vyn is the one who would take it most in stride, and also affectionately use this against marius whenever the situation and ambiance permits. like, he'll overhear that exact line u mention in your ask and then vyn will just

hello securitywaiter nation have you thought about ness being abby’s teacher bc I HAVE

below the cut because i can't shut up ever :D

-abby does well enough in school academically but is still needs some work in the socioemotional dept

-when she starts a new school year mike is a bit worried but then she comes back home absolutely ecstatic and mike is like “okay this is good”

-she talks all about how mr. ness lets her color while he teaches and how mr. ness gave them all name tags w silly drawings (hers is a bear) etc etc

-mike is actually really happy bc most teachers have a hard time understanding abby (heck, he has a hard time understanding her) so he’s looking forward to meeting this mr. ness during back to school night

-it goes on like this for awhile, with abby raving about mr. ness and mike is just happy that his little sister seems to be doing better in school. the first time she comes home talking about these kids she hung out with at recess he practically cries

-back to school night is here and the first time mike sees this mr. ness he’s like abby u traitor you didnt tell me this man was exactly my type (he doesn’t actually tell her bc he never brings up his lovelife around her - not that he’s had much of one - but still isn’t this the type of things siblings know intrinsically)

-anyways they’re having the kids show their guardians around the classroom and their seats and everything and then mr. ness is explaining the way his class works and mike is totally paying attention. yup. he’s not distracted by those chocolate brown eyes at ALL

-so they’re waiting to do the one-on-ones with the teacher and mike crouches down next to abby and tries to be all chill “hey, abs. has mr. ness ever mentioned a partner or anything?” acting all nonchalant

-but abby sees right through him and is immediately like “he’s single! do u want me to put in good word for you?” and mikes like “NO i have no idea what ur talking about haha i just wanted to know bc it’s important to know that about ur teachers okay wait why are you smiling like that”

-(abby’s a little menace and already ships it)

-when it’s finally their turn mike is just chanting to himself “be normal. be normal. be normal” lmao

-but now that he’s sitting face to face with the teacher he notices that he has freckles and every chance he had at playing it cool goes out the window

-ness is telling him all about how well abby is doing in class and if there was anything he could do to make it easier for her in the classroom and abby’s just sitting there looking at mike internally screaming with a smile

-so she turns to her teacher and is like “you should get mike’s number just in case something comes up. he’ll probably think of some things later since he’s been taking care of me alone for awhile” (bc u know when kids do that things where they kinda trauma dump at the most random moments lmao)

-and ness at first refuses and is like “im sure email works just fine!” and abby’s like WHYY is he not just taking the bait and then she has like a lightbulb moment

-bc ness probably assumes like everyone else that mike is a single father and abby’s his daughter and abby’s like oh no how do i make this work

-so she goes full anya mode (for my spy x family watchers) and is like “im sure mike would appreciate having your number on hand! he’s a very protective older brother you see. taking care of his little sister must be hard. i’m sure being a big brother like him is hard so it’d be for his peace of mind. did i mention he’s my older brother”

-and ness also has a little bit of a crush already forming so he doesn’t catch the obvious set up and is instead distracted by the fact that the handsome guy in front of him is in fact NOT a single father so maybe he does have a chance wowow

you go to shower (and yes he's gonna try and join you he's handsy though so choose carefully) and come back into your room and he's wearing half your wardrobe and going through your jewelry and shit

and when you're like uhm… hello?? he stands there like oh… you're back sooner than i thought…. LIKE UR IN MY ROOM???

he's a popcorn snack guy, plus sour candy. sleepovers are for pigging out and he takes that SERIOUS he’ll sneak his own candy in if he has to

if he falls asleep at like 10pm-12am, then you will have a peaceful night where he sleeps until 8:30am and is well rested and so sweet

and he might even make you breakfast

but if he sleeps before then or later…. good luck

he's going to be LOUD and OBNOXIOUS (positive) and he's going to keep your ass up as long as he can

well, sadly i finished the second season of ‘good omens’ a few hours ago and after a really long nap, here we have:

“some things about the second season of ‘good omens’ that really stuck with me and i’ll think about forever and ever (amen)”

• beginning of creation and my baby crowley being just so excited about the galaxy, and stars, and her little jumps and shouts, she’s my silly girl

• crowley protecting aziraphale from the stars rain (or whatever was going on in there) with his wing and later on, aziraphale doing the same

• aziraphale caring about crowley since the beginning of ages is just so heartwarming

• “how much trouble can i get into just for asking a few questions?” my princess just wanted to know what was all of this for, is that so wrong?

• aziraphale thinking crowley was talking about him when he said the stars were beautiful pls

• their little lunches through all the season, at the pub, the cafeteria, the other little french stablishment, etc

• aziraphale panicking while explaining crowley why is there a “naked man” on his library 😭😭

• crowley recognizing “trouble” on aziraphale voice just because they know each other that well

• the amount of times “our” and “we” was used to by crowley and aziraphale themselves, talking as if they could not live without the other (they actually can’t)

• crowley refusing to help aziraphale and aziraphale being like “okay, i can’t make you help me, i’ll be fine” and crowley simply throwing a tantrum just to be back and help him

• crowley’s tantrum, yes, but specially the way he stomps on the ground like a little kid

• their little apology dance lmfao (how much cuter can they get?)

• the way they worked together to make a silly little small minuscule miracle once and ended up being way too extra like it wasn’t that hard!

• crowley introducing aziraphale to food

• also, crowley in the turtle neck (i would’ve also used any excuse to put my hand in his chest like that, aziraphale)

• the magic trick and how the person aziraphale thinks of when they say “trust” is automatically crowley, they make me so ugh

• aziraphale not only stealing the proof photo, but keeping it and showing it to crowley

• crowley actually lending aziraphale his car, like he’s so down bad it hurts (if anyone ever had a doubt of how much love this man has for his angel, then this must say something)

• crowley on the library, carrying books, his little sweater, throwing the books everywhere, she’s just so cutesy, i need to eat her

• aziraphale and crowley being domestic and cute and in love together, my babies

• crowley making hot chocolate for gabriel (plus that one time he went all protective on aziraphale)

• the way aziraphale has a dairy (and probably many other) where he writes about crowley, and he just talks about her with so much love, excitement, cherishing their memories together

• the way neither crowley, nor aziraphale ever deny the gay accusations like they just stare and say nothing because they are!

• crowley following aziraphale everywhere when he was organizing his ball pls

• aziraphale and crowley dancing 💓💓💓

• crowley and aziraphale trying to get nina and maggie together when they can’t sort out their own shit like bffr and talk abt ur feelings instead?

• aziraphale telling nina that he has his own plans but he just lets crowley save him cause it’s makes him just “oh, so happy!”

• crowley’s heaven outfit and the way he was walking like she’s just everything to me

• crowley getting choked up when he tried to say he’d like to spend eternity with aziraphale

• crowley actually willing to talk about it and aziraphale just hitting him up like “hey let’s go to heaven together!” like bro, kindly and very gently, what the fuck?

• the kiss (boy, you needed to talk, there’s many time for kissing later; or there was, who knows)

• “i forgive you” lovely, you have so much audacity but this wasn’t the moment haha! (still love u, aziraphale, i promise)

• “you idiot, we could’ve been… us” i think them telling each other to kill themselves would’ve hurt me less

• crowley in the car, still waiting in case aziraphale decided to change his mind (i threw up)

• aziraphale literally looking like he’s going insane while leaving crowley like he’s genuinely just losing it more every single second that passes

• conclusion, they are very much in love, they just need a break and many, many deep talks about their feelings

pmmm rewatch live notes: ep 1

ive been rewatching pmmm w my friends who haven't seen it before and have decided that i am incapable of being normal abt it so uhhh.... gonna dump the notes i took during ep 1 here. they are entirely incomprehensible ramblings of a madman but the goal is to synthesize some actual analysis once im done w the watch through. im convinced there is significant color symbolism related to the colors of the holy quintet but idk the exact symbolism for each color so there's a good amount of notes of just instances of those colors that i think could help me pin down the symbolism later on so there's that too a gift for u (or i guess a hurdle if u don't care abt color symbolism but honestly if u don't care abt color symbolism i don't understand u). idk i thought it might be silly for like maybe 1 other guy out there. also my friends bullied me into it (read: hyped me up about it until i relented)

first scene happens bc madoka remembers it from another timeline

spiraling time is it the future or the past does it even matter

brightest thing in intro is her hair ribbons bc they are what links madoka and homura across time and space

everything else is desaturated

god madoka w her in the intro bc god madoka saves and treats all the magical girls like that when she saves them from their witch future

hard to tell what the world is like bc does it even matter

no matter what the setting is homura will fail to save madoka and madoka will sacrifice herself

also adds to the eerie effect

madoka’s mom tells her to use the red ribbon

madoka never chose her fate for herself, she’s always doing what others want and what she thinks is best for others

the scenery has a weird juxtaposition of greenery and industrial things which mirrors the juxtaposition of the magical girl stereotype and the psychological horror reality

homura walks in like she’s not seeing everyone and not really there bc she’s living in the past which is also the future

THE ANGLE WHEN HOMURA FIRST TALKS TO MADOKA

like idk what that loom w the dramatic lighting means but it means Something

the way homura doesn’t hide that she knows the way to the nurses office shows that she’s getting desperate and tired of this cycle

insisting that madoka call her homura even though they “just met” shows how important their relationship is and how much she yearns for their old dynamic

when she confronts madoka in the hall she shows emotion for the first time showing how much she cares about this

it seems cruel but in reality she is grasping at straws to protect madoka

she doesn’t care if she has to be seen as cold as long as madoka is safe

homura knows the math so well bc it’s the same every single fucking time

the symbolism of kyubey with the spikey evil statue that’s all rusty and the shadow where it merges w him

when madoka reveals she has seen homura in a dream and they brush it off bc haha we’re just middle schoolers this is a magical girl anime nothing weird would happen

red in the scene where homura tries to kill kyubey… kyoko’s color… what does red represent in this show?

kyubey reaches out to madoka asking to be saved bc he knows that’s her weak spot , that she will always jump into danger to save other regardless of her own well being

when homura appears trying to kill kyubey there are chains what could this represent

chained to her cycle, chained to kyubey, chained to madoka

they form the shape of a cross bc homura is jesus, she takes the brunt of the harm and the blame in an effort to save the others

use of collage in the witch labyrinths is disorienting and jarring it doesn’t fit and it’s confusing and creepy and unsettling

language is similar to german at times maybe a reference to historical german witches

sayaka protects madoka in a hug like embrace when they first end up in the labyrinth symbolizing the way she is to the end a protector

mami makes sure to act unbothered and not scared when she meets them to keep her persona of a magical girl who saves ppl despite the horrors of the reality

the fact that mami uses guns alludes to the horror of magical girls hidden just beneath the surface

the use of the word contract also shows the severity and adult nature of what they are about to embark on

thinking about the sb!universe so here are some scenes/headcannons i have:

• one day jay’s dad shows up to the office with shiah’s dad and shiah herself. jay’s dad drops that he believes it’s time to start the marriage process. shiah slips jay the ring she’s always wanted and tells her to make the proposal big and grand, and that they’ll act like it was all a surprise for the media. yn overhears and is devastated. my poor girly :( . that meeting is like 3,000 steps backward for jay and yn.

• yn showing up to flowers on her desk from the one guy she starts seeing from another dept. jay has someone send out a notice reminder that sending gifts with intent and dating amongst coworkers, even those in other departments is not recommended. he even asks giselle to investigate it as she works in HR, and she’s like uhmmm, ok?? giselle doesn’t take it seriously and snitches to yn. she’s like “GIRL UR MAN IS JEALOUSSSSS” 🤭🤭 when jay asks for a follow up a few days later giselle is like uhmmm…no response yet from my manager haha, we’re like super busy rn.

• the other boys of the seoul 4 and nayeon finding out yn is casually dating again and throwing random options at her in front of jay who can’t show jealous he is to prove a point.

ok enough of the jealousy, some cute stuff:

• yn and jay taking a weekend vacation when they get together and just being glued to each other all weekend. yn is so cuddly, especially after sex, which is new to jay. usually he keeps his distance in bed after his 3 rounds with miyeon or she leaves right away. he’s ready to go crazy when yn leaves the bathroom and comes back to the bed after being cleaned up and she just closes the distance between them (pee after sex so you don’t get a UTI girlies). his breath hitches in his throat and he knows he can stay like this forever.

• IK IK IK it’s too early in the smau to think about sb!yn and jay getting married and having children but i had to 😭 jay’s like in a serious emergency meeting after something goes wrong and his face is just stoic and he looks like he’s gonna kill someone in a few minutes. but then his 2 little children burst through the door after yn took her eyes off them for literally 30 seconds. they were supposed to wait outside of the meeting room to surprise him but their 4 year old daughter and 2 year old son don’t care. jay’s mood instantly changes when his children are suddenly jumping into his lap and gripping his arm with their little hands. he hasn’t seen them all week because of all the time he’s been spending in the office so he lets them stay. he gives him his pen and notebook to play with as they sit on his lap. yn opens the door a crack and makes silent eye contact with jay to say sorry, but he just silently assures her it’s fine and laughs at how one of the kids started drawing on his suit sleeve. when the meeting finishes he kisses their cheeks and thanks them for being so good during the meeting.

• yn and jay taking their first trip together and deciding to go shopping. jay buys everything for her and she’s like no no i didn’t even want it that much. he’s like baby u tried it on and stared at yourself in the mirror for 15 minutes smiling before u put it back. whenever yn needs something he just puts his black card in front of her and assures her that he has more than enough money for himself and that his princess deserves to be spoiled. and then yn fights him at the boba shop, insisting she’ll pay for this one thing 😭😭

okay let's dissect this part by part.

Kariselle exists because I work with characters, yes. I think the world around the characters can only be built when you have a grasp of what you want these two, three, four people to do with each other. It's the wrestling philosophy—I'm the booker of the show, and it's a sex show. I want the audience to see these two people fuck. These two really complement each other in some shape or form (character trait, like, for example, in To-Do List, Minju's naughty, and OC's corruptible and a bit of a pushover). Now, I have the complentary traits, and I can start selling the reason why they fuck: Is Minju exploring? Is she a known pervert? Is OC just a horndog? What does Minju want out of this? What does OC want out of this? Why do they have to fuck? I think this is an effective way to start a draft—knowing your characters first, and making a world around them.

For Sisterly Bonding, a threesome does not have to be complicated. You can actually just start with the sex scene, and sprinkle details in later. Writing does not have to be a linear process—this is something I need to learn myself too. You can absolutely just cut the story short, and sprinkle details of it into the smut instead. However, remember that Sisterly Bonding is Chapter 1 of a series, and not a standalone, so I do have wiggle room to spread my worldbuilding out, which results in what is posted.

For Tuesdays With You—I'm not familiar with that experience at all either. I'm absolutely shooting from the hip, but I've also tried to really make it as realistic as I can imagine or know through research. I'm pretty sure there's a girl out there who's read my work and went "this is bullshit" and left, but I don't think I'll ever know, unless they use this AMA to really tell me "haha ur shit" or something idk. I think I'm doing okay though, based on the comments on AO3.

I lovedddd the new chapter for symptoms and causes so much!! God I love angst, but as long as they have a happy ending! It's okay to rip open my chest, take my heart out and put it in a Shredder before placing the remains back- I'll accept all that if the ending is worth it (and happy ofc)

I know everyone wants s&c Gojo but I just want to get on my knees and beg him to open up to y/n because it's just so hurtful to see him somehow hold everything together- sooner or later he is bound to crumble, right? And I think we are kinda in that phase of the story- or not. 💁🏻‍♀️

And oh THE SMUT! I think it's one of the best I have read so far and I am not even kidding- it's just that good!

All that being said, as someone who is new to writing (I haven't put anything out there, but yeah I still like to write- thinking of posting something on Tumblr soon🤭) I would really really appreciate some tips on writing angst and smut. I am working on a story that contains a lot of angst, or atleast I am trying to make it angst-y, but I don't really know how to write those scenes. So, would really appreciate some help here!

regarding your writing advice. i gave overall writing tips here and here. don't know if i have the the best tips for writing angst & smut, but i'll try for my fellow angst-lover!!

ANGST

start with the emotional hook: before anything else, identify the core emotional impact of your scene. is it betrayal? unrequited love? fear of loss? this will drive the conflict and help you shape the scene's events.

escalate the conflict gradually: angst thrives on a feeling of rising pressure. start with subtle disagreements, misunderstandings, or unspoken longing. let frustrations simmer, and then explode in a pivotal moment.

subtext is your friend: don't feel you have to have characters screaming and crying to convey their pain. sometimes, the most powerful angst comes from what characters don't say. use silences, subtle body language, and changes in tone to hint at the unspoken emotions.

show, don't tell: avoid telling the reader how a character feels. instead, show it through their actions, reactions, and the physical reaction of their emotions. describe trembling hands, a tightened jaw, or the way they avert their gaze.

use setting to your advantage: a dark, stormy night can mirror a character's inner turmoil. a cramped, claustrophobic space can emphasize their sense of being trapped.

short sentences: long, flowing sentences are great for fluffy or romantic moments. but when writing angst, short, clipped sentences convey a sense of urgency and emotional fracture. they can be like punches to the gut, making the angst hit harder.

don't overexplain: sometimes, leaving a little room for ambiguity can be even more heartbreaking. don't feel the need to lay out every single detail of why a character is feeling a certain way. let the reader fill in the blanks, making the emotions their own.

get specific: the more specific you are about a character's fears, regrets, and longings, the more the angst will hit home.

beware of melodrama: angst can easily turn into exaggeration. ground your characters' feelings in reality to make the hurt more believable.

balance angst with other emotions: angst can be draining for the reader if it's relentless. even in the most angsty stories, give your characters moments of fluff or hope. this contrast makes the lows even more impactful.

SMUT

don't know exactly what tips to give here really, because smut is as individual as what a writer likes to write and read, and what a author likes to "happen" in those scenes. so it's more general advice for intimate scenes.

build anticipation: what i think is really important for intimate scenes isn't just about what happens, but the longing that comes before. a lingering gaze, a subtle brush of hands, a whispered compliment. each small gesture heightens the tension.

capture intimacy in details: focus on the little things. the way someone brushes a stray hair off their lover's face, the tremble of a hand, the catch in a character's voice. these intimate details make the scene feel personal and authentic.

sensory details: use sensory descriptions to make the scene come alive. don't just tell the reader what's happening–show them! explore textures, scents, the warmth of skin, the rhythm of breathing. draw the reader into the moment.

less is more: also here, leave something to the reader's imagination. a perfectly executed touch can sometimes do more than explicitly describing every intimate act.

consider the scene's context: how does this romantic moment fit into the broader story? does it further character development? does it build tension?

play with contrasts: tension and tenderness often go hand in hand in romance. these contradictions make the scene feel even more dynamic.

dialogue isn't just about words: utilize breathlessness, gasps, moans, and stifled sighs in place of full sentences. these sounds speak volumes and also enhancing the sensory experience.

don't forget about the aftermath: the quiet moments after intimacy can be just as impactful. linger on the shared smiles, the sense of peace, the way the world feels different afterwards.

but really, smut depends on what you like to write. yk smut scenes are so different and that's good, so everyone can find what they like!

also overall writing smut i guess also comes with experience. the first smut scene won't be as good as your 10th of course. but that's like with all writing, so don't push yourself :)

ngl i still haven't decided who falls first . i think i might make a poll on either twitter or insta and see what everyone else thinks just bc i'm so torn like i could see literally EITHER of them falling first !!! UGH

anyways . so i think at some point in their friendship they r like flirtatious in that "haha i would so marry my best friend fr they're such a catch 🤪✌️" kind of way and it's just one of their inside jokes u know . like leo buys usagi a coffee before visiting him at work and usagi is like "god i could kiss u rn" BAHAHAHA stuff like that u know ???

and they never think anything of it bc it's just natural and some friendships roll like that !!! it was never meant to be that srs for them .

leo actually cannot see himself spending his life with anyone else. he could date other people but usagi is ALWAYS going to be his person and he knows that he's usagi's without even having to ask . it's been that way for yrs at this point . they have seen each other at their worst and their best . like that's his mf HOMIE . but he's scared about how this is going to change their relationship bc he doesn't want to lose one of the best people he's ever met or have their dynamic off kilter so he sits on it for a while, and he's just falling deeper the whole time !!

well little does he know that usagi actually feels the same way, but he's fine if their relationship never goes anywhere . he doesn't think it would change much in the scheme of things but he still doesn't ask leo outright bc he's fine just being friends, but leo is the first person he's ever felt this way about (i hc him as being on the ace/aro spectrum) and he also doesn't want to lose their dynamic but he's not as freaked out bc like i said, he's never cared much for relationship stuff !!! it's not something he ever thought he would get to receive or reciprocate so he just never put it in his priority cards u know ??? but leo is just so endearing that he can't help but be like man . i would be so cool being w this guy for the rest of my life HAHAHA

well one night they're just hanging out like usual i think and leo literally cannot BEAR IT anymore bc he has been sitting on his feelings for so long, but usagi has also never made him feel stupid or like anything he says is weird or anything u know ?? like usagi just GETS HIM and it's always been easy to talk to each other (once they got past the first stages of becoming friends lol) so leo just outright asks "if i asked u to marry me would u actually" and that's not what he meant to say at all but it's already out there and usagi is looking at him and leo is like OH FUCK OH FUCK WHY DID I SAY THAT FUCK PREPARE TO JUMP OFF THIS ROOF AND PORTAL THE FUCK AWAY

and hes just expecting the worst bc usagi is silent for a sec, but then he's just like "yeah. i would." all blunt as hell and leo is like 😦 HOLY SHIT but then usagi is like "but that's a stupid thing to ask considering u haven't even asked me to be ur bf yet idiot" and he's all 🤨🤨 but inside he is . so happy

and leo is so fucking giddy he is smiling like an idiot and he grabs usagi's hands and he's like "my homie in future matrimony lmfao" and usagi LAUGHS bc leo is such a dumbass but he's endearing as fuck and leo is so happy he made usagi laugh bc he can remember a time when the guy barely even smiled and it's just crazy how much they've both changed each other for the better .

and then hes like "no balls u won't kiss me rn" and usagi rolls his eyes bc that's such moronic way to ask for a kiss but he does it anyway and boom . two idiots giggling on a rooftop kissin n shit LOL

and then it's just natural the way they fall into each other and they r still best friends that just happen to kiss and it's like nothing ever changed at all . they're still as close as before and if anything they somehow get CLOSER .

and the rest is history 😎

i'll probably clean this up a little bit one day but i think that's my overall word vomit for how i think it would go . i'm not a huge fan of miscommunication or one sided pining and stuff or them running around being miserable about each other . i just don't see it going that way cause they're already so close u know ?? these dudes deserve to be happy and be able to confide in each other !! they've both already had such shitty things happen to them (usagi's backstory will be explained in the future soonish . leo's is self explanatory LMFAO) so i wanted their get together to be sweet and earnest . LOL

YAYYAYAYAYYA THANK YOU I GOT VERY EXCITED TO ANSWER THESE YAY!

ANYWHO LONG ANSWERS BUT:

1- This was honestly supposed to be a two part comic. The entire au is based off of experiences I have had (minus the whole dying part of course) with my cousins and or brother. The first part was about Donnie and Mikey- and Mikey having the puppy dog eyes that Donnie couldn't do. That was about my cousin! It was supposed to just be like oh look Mikey can do puppy eyes. And then I saw something about how kids that struggle with understanding emotions can practice expressions in the mirror sometimes* and was like haha I should add this since it's actually something I used to do as well! THEN I wrote the line about him wanting to be the youngest and I mean... my brain went straight to "now what if Mikey dies"...

I didn't expect people to like it as much as they did tbh... so when people started to really comment on it I was like okay I should bring Mikey back to life... But then it turned into a whole au...

It's almost entirely planned out now! And most comics are still based off of stories of things that have happened with my cousins or brother! (Like how I smashed my cousins legos because I was angry at him.... its a long story lol).

*(It can also be something that kids with autism do... and someone actually pointed it out! ->)

2- Thats a really hard one... I think my fav has to do with the situation I guess? Or how I'm feeling? But Donnie and Mikey are probably my favorite overall! But only by a teensy tiny bit.

Raph and Mikey are my favorite angst wise, and the ones I can relate to the most. Leo and Mikey are really fun, and I really like using it to explore responsibility.

I think it does show in the comic! I mean I went straight to the PB & J duo- and then with Leo and Mikey I really explored responsibility. With Raph and Mikey it was shorter, but it was a lot more emotional for me personally. And right now Raph and Mikey are really getting the spotlight. Though Leo and Mikey are the main ones in the next update! :)

3- DONNIE. OMFG DONNIE IS SO RECTANGULAR AND ITS TERRIBLE. ITS WHY HE'S HANGING HALF IN HALF OUT OF A LOT OF FRAMES BECAUSE I HATE DRAWING HIM. I've definitely gotten better at him tho! Example for u ->

4- I think Leo is the easiest to draw, with Mikey coming in second! My favorite to draw though is definitely Mikey. I like his mask tails :) Also he's my favorite in general hehehe

5- LMAO I HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THE NAME JOANNE CAME FROM IM LAUGHING SO HARD- THATS HER CANNON NAME NOW. ITS CANNON HER NAME IS DR. JOANNE BISHOP.

She got that scar from an experiment! Idk which one... but she was experimenting on something and it freaked and scratched her! :3

It isn't too important to the story, but it may add some depth/explanation to some of her reactions later on.

Hiii hiii! I was re-reading all the ✨wonderful✨ story (cause I think i saw you need to do it in this new update) and the situation with Ronald McBarf, if you “enjoy the show”, later with the director, daddy help without hesitation MC, my question is, he really think Mc is innocent and will never do something like that, or he know what his child is capable to do but doesn’t care cause, we are talking about Ronald McBarf and, nobody likes a rich bully child of mama??

Ps i love the choice with the pencil, cause it can be sososo bad, bit at the same time so badass… i mean, i love my MC, he is like: im going to stab u with a pen u little b, but, when he see Ash coming, his behaviour is like: “nuuu u are so sexy to go to prision, pls staap, u are better that this, violence us not the option not when there are so many witnesses”

Haha glad you like the pencil option 😂 MC might’ve watched too many action movies with Luka 😆

And for your first question, Viktor really thought MC was innocent and even if there are evidence proving otherwise, he’d still be on MC’s side. Clearly, that bully deserved some sort of punishment, right? And MC was just defending themselves and helping their best friend 🥺

And deep down, I think Viktor knew that MC was capable of doing that (especially more ruthless MC), but he tried not to think too much about it and focused on raising MC right. Maybe ruthlessness is just a Morozov bloodline effect 😆

I’m also happy that the poor nurse gets some love at least 😂 I’ve not seen anyone talking about him, and I get it, he didn’t exactly have a lot of screen time. I felt really bad for him too 😔 And he did get paid quite well, at least, without having the more intensive or tiring work hours like other hospital nurses. Also, his clear expertise and experience in using his power and medical knowledge also bump up his salary a bit 😄

👪 FAMILY - what is their family like? what is your ocs relationship to them? Does your oc have any siblings?

Fun thing with Xan is, he was not "born". He was created by Iblis (my friend @indusfera oc) - his dad (and mom, and you know what, he is too powerful to be bothered about pronouns) so that's his only lets say... "Real" family, no siblings aswell. Xan was created to be first of his kind, the perfect being to guide and help people but... Well, let's just say because he was first, Iblis had no experience in creating something perfect and Xan is VERY FAR from being one. Still, he is a good boy more or less so Iblis now came to terms with the whole situation (for veery long he was furious Xan was not what he PLANNED him to be, but hey, he is better now and the two have more or less good relationship). His actual family (current RP) are his friends (found family my beloved) with whom he lives and he would do absolutely anything for them. They are all @indusfera and my oc's and they are well... Colorful bunch of people haha. Maybe I will talk about them more if someone will ask about them ;u;

Yeah I had to put this doodle here, Xan was terrible to Iblis but to be fair Iblis was terrible parent aswell (I mean, he lost Xan very early after his creation so GOOD JOB, only after years he found him and Xan was NOT at all happy to go back home). Also, Iblis appearance here is VEERY old and most likely to be redesigned by @indusfera someday shoutout to you my bro -3-

🌋 VOLCANO - how bad is their temper? Is it a slow boil, or a instant explosion?

Xan is very impulsive creature, that's the thing I have to say immediately. He is definetly not a calm person if it comes to any discussions and he will absolutely punch you in your face if you are threatening his friends or straight up saying shit about them. He is that white pikmin gif I saw recently and perfectly shows his attitude.

Also fuck the police, eat the rich and help those who can't fight for their own (or help those who are actively fighting for their rights, he is queer as hell) - this is what he stands for and if you are not, then prepare for some fists B) He can keep his emotions at bay but this is only for some time, he will explode later surely.

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? A loved one in danger? A promise of something they are always searching for?

His own stupidity I would say xD He is both super smart and extremely dumb if it comes to certain situations. He have literally no self perserverance instinct because he can't die. Well, he CAN die, but he will regenerate over time and get back up. Most of the times when he was in danger was for his friends, family or other people where he wanted to help or wasn't waiting for any other help and wanted to deal with the problem himself. Again, he is very impulsive. There were also other situations where he was… Well. Too dumb to realize he is in fact in danger.
