"(Y/N) Why the hell are we here?" You heard Buggy groan next to you annoyed, Shanks nodding in agreement. You rolled your eyes at their protest of being in the circus tent with you.

"Cause I am the one who got us the tickets, 20000 berries and I want to see the circus" You chimed proudly as you watched your favorite act come out. The clowns, Buggy grimacing at the sight of them, You see this and lean against his shoulder.

"Aww is Buggy afraid of clowns?~" You chime earning a glare from him and a blush. Shanks Grinning at this as he poked his friend in a teasing manor.

"No I'm not afraid of damn clowns! They are just... kinda creepy" He grumbled as he watched the group of bubbly cheerful clowns.

It had been a year since Gol. D Roger's had died, it had been hard on all three of you. But you luckily had each other and were trying to save up scraps of berries to start your guys own crew. You were the thief of the trio, a skilled person in breaking and entering as well as treasure hunting. Buggy was an amazing navigator and sailor while Shanks was the amazing fighter and leader of your trio of teenage Pirates.

You giggle at Buggy face of disgust at the clowns, you knew the real reason he hated them- It was the noses. He was self conscious about it heavily and seeing the clowns with the fake noses made him feel like they were making fun of him. You gently rub his shoulder gently, a silent gesture to comfort him.

Once out of the show you sighed in delight at feeling the sun on your face. Hearing both teens walking behind you and bickering between the two of them.

"Let's get some food for our journey to Hile Hile Village" You suggest, walking to the small market next to the curious. The three of you had been using this little village by Hile Hile Island as a sort of base. The three of you were planning a big heist in order to get a massive score of 750,000 berries which could help getting a bigger boat and not the stolen two decer you guys currently shared. The only issue was that the village was controlled by a dictator like man, A Lieutenant for the Marines that ruled the island. He had made it his mission to murder every pirate who tried to come to the island, so this would be a very quick smash and grab. Fleeing the island immediately afterwards.

It was simple, mildly foolish but hopefully effective.

Once in the market Buggy got toiletries, Shanks got food and you got basic supplies. The three of you walking together till you saw a beauty stand and seeing a deep red lipstick sticking out.

"Ohh I love this color" You hummed in pride at the red lipstick color, both teenage boys groaning as you took your sweet old time in choosing the brightest of red.

"I see you like the color red?" Shanks teased you, earning a sarcastic laugh from you.

"Oh yes, The color red really gets me going" You laugh as you pick the color and grab a near by red and white bandana, wrapping it around your head like a fake bonnet.

"Besides I hear red is a sigh of submission, what does that say about you Shanks?~" His face fell at your words and Buggy snorted a laugh.

You tossed down some berries for the bandana and lipstick. Following the boys back to the boat while you all chatted and teases each other, however Buggy's eyes landing on you every now and then more specifically your red lips. Everyone knew he had a crush on you, hell you had a thing for him too but it seemed he judt refused to make a move! Even when you all were on Roger's ship he never made a move on you.

"Buggy it's your turn to make dinner!" Shanks chimed out earning a groan from Buggy. After dinner you made it to the top of the deck to get some fresh air. Feeling the wind on your face as Buggy sailed you all to Hile Hile Island.

"Hey, You holding up okay?" You called out as you went to Buggy's side. The blue haired teen not meeting your eyes.

"I'm fine.." He grumbled, he knew he was pouting about something. Sighing as you look up at the night sky.

"What are you pouting about Bugs? Hm?" You pressed once more, Hearing a sigh from him.

"You um.. seem to like red right? Listen I assume you like Shanks and all. I mean ago doesnt- but um"

You look at Buggy as he leaned against the wheel of the stolen boat, not meeting your gaze.

"You two would be good together..." He grumbles, you roll your eyes and step towards him grabbing his arm hard you yank him from his pouting position and slammed your lips onto his. His eyes wide as you kiss him and leaned into the kiss, his eyes drooping as he felt warmth from you and wrapped a arm around you in return. After a moment you pulled away and grinned up at his cherry red face and eyes that were in a daze.

"I hope that answers the question of who I like Buggy" You teased, drawing a silent nod from him. Smiling you step back from his grasp and give his hand a gentle squeeze.

"Good night Bugs" You call out before heading down to the Lower Deck of the boat to sleep leaving Buggy standing there still shocked- His face breaking out in a wide grin as he silently cheered and jumped excitedly. You giggling at shearing his footsteps as he jumped up and down in excitement.

The next morning when the three of you arrived at Hile Hile Island and at dawn started your heist of robbing a jewelry store. It went smoothly enough, not too hard till the surprise alarms went off and the three of you ran.

Running through the streets you held the bag of values in your hand, the boys having a good lead on you as they slipped through the crowds and laughed. It was such a adrenaline rush! The boys ran ahead of you turning a sharp corner and heading down, as you prepared to catch up to them a muscular forearm suddenly slam put hitting you.

The wind getting knocked out of your lungs as you felt the forearm smash into your chest, your head smacking into the cobblestone ground as you looked up. The infamous Lieutenant staring down at you with a sickening grin- your eyes widened as you realized.. you were fucked.

"We are gonna be rich! Haha! That ship is ours! Right (Y/N!?)" Buggy yelled out, Hearing Shanks cheer ahead of him. Not hearing your voice he started to slow down lookknv behind him seeing you were gone and his eyes widened, Shanks still on his adrenaline high stopped as well and turned to look to see the confused Buggy.

"Where is (Y/N)?" Buggy questioned, Shanks face falling as he realized this. The two boys meeting each other's gaze and began to rush through were they had run to try and find you, calling out your name. The boys running back to try and find you, as they made it to a backstreet they see you in the back of a Marine jail wagon being dragged away to the local prison. Buggy surged forward in wanting to Spring you free but Shanks grabbed his shoulder quickly.

To say this had turned into a total shit show for you. You had been tossed in the back of the Marine jail wagon, then brought to the local prison.

There you were thrown into a cell with a women who had even in hysterics. Begging for death for her actions instead of the life sentence she was given. Your mind was racing as you tried to think of ways to get out- watching as the Lieutenant walked to you with a smile.

"It's been a while since we had a Pirate here, it's good. We needed an execution tomorrow" He said with a evil smile at you. The color draining from your face at his words.

"What!? Not a trial! Or even a proper investigation!?" You screamed as you grab at the bars. The Marine laughed loudly in your face as he leaned down to your level.

"Little girl, I'm the judge, jury and executioner. Welcome to Hile Hile!" He chimed loudly before dismissing himself with a deep laugh leaving you alone with the sobbing women.

You sat there for a while, trying to figure out what to do. Having even spoken to the women who told you she had accidently fell asleep and her child drowned and was imprisoned for murder. Now sentenced to life in prison at Impel Down, even though she wanted to die for her actions. A completely over sentencing for a horrible accident but you figured that was just how this place was run.

Going up the the barred wi dows of your cell you look out over the village. Fear running through your system as the words the man said to you rang through your system. It wasn't till you saw your two friends running in the alley by your cell did it snap you from your thoughts. Clapping your hands quickly to catch your attention you saw both of them turn to you.

"(Y/N)!" Buggy called out, looking around wildly before detaching his torso and floating up to meet you grabbing at the bars to try and pull on them. You quickly shoo him to go back down.

"No, They will see you" You hissed at him and held his hand, He floated back down but kept his detached hand with you. A sinking feeling hitting your stomach as you smiled at the two boys who rambled out in panic talking about how they would break you out. Shanks was the first one to notice your silence and the sadness in your eyes.

"Guys.. I.. I love you two-" You said to them, both freezing at your words as dread fills their system.

"Hey don't be so glum! We will get you out okay?!"

You gave Buggy's hand a squeeze sniffling back tears as you kissed the back of his hand staining it with your lipstick and taking the bandana you had bought before from around your neck and tied it to his wrist.

"I promise it will be okay Buggy.. Ill be okay" You say in a shaky voice, trying to keep him calm. Releasing his hand which floated back to his wrist.

"I'll get you out of here (Y/N)! They won't hurt you I swear!" Buggy proclaimed, his mind racing with ideas to break you out. Rushing down the alleyway in order to begin plotting.

You looked at Shanks through the bars and gave him a watery smile, tears welling in your eyes.

"Shanks... Promise me- If I go... Buggy can't see it.. He should never see me that way okay? Dont try and break me out.. you guys can get killed" You begged, tears rolling down your cheeks as you saw Shanks own eyes well with tears and nod his head.

"I-I promise (Y/N)..." He stuttered out, looking ahead and running after Buggy finally. Knowing the task that laid before him-

The next day was the day of the public execution. Wanting to make a an example out of you as they prepare for you to be killed. The Lieutenant coming by the cell you shared with the woman, who was still in her mess of a state at being imprisoned for life.

"Ah a Pirate and a Murderer" He chuckled darkly at the two of you. You glaring back at him as he leered at you-

"Does it make you feel strong to kill a child?" You asked him, earning a glare from the male who slammed his hand against the bars.

"Your show time is in half an hour- pray" He hissed at you and tossed a prison uniform and cloth bag at your feet. You knew what this was for by the red that spotted the collars on both-

Buggy had been frantically gathering a plan for his rescue mission, Ignoring the oddly silent Shanks who had just been watching him. Buggy creating a flashy and dramatic escape plan to rescue (Y/N).

"Alright It's almost ready!" He said as he grabbed rope, knives and more. Shanks looking at Buggy and sighing.

"Buggy- We can't get her-" He started but Buggy glared hard at him.

"Yes we can- if we follow this plan I can get her!" Buggy screamed, Shanks clenching his fist as he glared at his friend.

"Buggy I'm not going to let you get yourself killed" He said evenly, a silent standoff starting before Buggy shot a punch using his devil fruit which landed right on Shanks cheek knocking the red head stumble back for just a moment before Buggy bolted, running off the boat and into the rain. Buggy hearing the sound of the crowd gathering at the main city court yard, Bolting towards the direction.

Shanks chased Buggy, sliding through the rain as he saw Buggy run like his life depended on it. Buggy turned a hard corner and slipped hard, his body slamming into an alleyway wall.

Shanks grabbed Buggy and held him against the wall with all his force keeping his limbs pinned, tears running down his own cheeks as he make sure Buggy didn't move from his spot. He knew Buggy couldn't use his Devil fruit abilities as well and his limbs couldn't get far enough to reach you or strong enough to push or kick him off.

"THEY ARE GOING TO KILL HER! WE CAN HELP HER!" Buggy screamed at Shanks as the red head held his friend down-

"Buggy they will kill you!... I-I promised... I-Im sorry" He croaked out- The sound of the crowd in the courtyard got louder and Buggy moved harshly.

'We are here to show that while Gol. D Roger's influence still stands! We will be the strong hand that brings it back!'

The echoing voice sounded through the city, Buggy screaming as he tried his hardest to fight against Shanks.

'A Thief and Pirate. This is the price to pay for crimes here in Hile Hile Town! Is Death!"

The crowd cheering before there was a click before it happened- Buggy's eyes went wide as he heard the massive sound of the guillotine slamming down. The fight leaving his body as he saw the birds fly up from were the courtyard was the sound scaring them from their refuge in the rain, and the sound of cheers from the courtyard from the public execution.

He didn't even feel the cold from the rain anymore, instead feeling the emotions he had turn into ice in his chest. Like his heart had been ripped from his very being and tossed into the deepest part of the sea.

Shanks still sobbing himself pulled away from Buggy knowing it had been done. His own body shivering from the cold as he wept looking at his brothers face, Buggy's eyes looking dull like that of a fishes.

"B-Buggy I'm sorry" Shanks managed to sob to his friend, Like a puppet Buggy moved to his feet barely able to stand as he felt his body was hollow and boots too heavy. His hair sticking to his skin as he felt the rain wash away his love for Shanks and you.

"..I will never forgive this betrayal Shanks... Just like (Y/N) you are dead to me..." Buggy croaked out his voice the softest it had ever sounded, not even meeting Shanks eyes as he turned and started to walk off to towards the courtyard.

Shanks standing there in the rain not saying a word as he let Buggy go, still crying himself. The blue haired teen walking to the courtyard were the crowd was filing out, having gotten their fill of bloodshed. Buggy walked to the empty courtyard and looked up seeing the Marines cleaning the mess, the rain helping to wash the blood from the blade used and the stage it rested on. One of the Marines loading a headless female body into a basket, wearing basic black and white stripped prison attire

Buggy fell to his knees, his eyes locked onto the blade that had taken you from his life- he reached into the pocket of his jacket and pulled out the red and white bandana you had given him, while wet from rain he put it to his head and tied it around his blue hair.

He would remember you... he would cherish the memory. His best friend, his first love... a girl who always smiled wearing too red of lipstick and loved the circus...

He would be the greatest at it all.... Just for you.

oomf reblogged a bunch of aro stuff and in honor of pride hour (i made it the fuck up Dont ask me any questions i dont talk to paparazzi) i want to talk about MYYY experience being arospec because it is Isolating and even if this reaches literally no one id rather at least have tried to share my feelings. Spreading love! 💝

growing up i very quickly realized that i wasnt getting crushes like the other kids were. as early as second grade i started trying to force myself to like the boys in my class. id, like, look around the classroom at the start of every new school year and look for the next boy to have a "crush" on. It sounds kind of funny looking back but like i remember how desperate i felt doing it. i remember one year i genuinely hated every boy in my class with a burning passion and, if nothing else, i remember the feeling of being wrong. i, a 4th (maybe 3rd?) grader, felt isolated and gross because i couldnt force a crush for a year.

i had known none of the other ones were really crushes, but it wasnt the romance i wanted it was the connections. i wanted to be able to join the girls talking about their crushes and i wanted to have a reason to try talking to boys; i wanted to be liked.

in 6th grade i think was the first time i didnt try to force a crush. i dont remember much from that year but i know that i didnt feel good. youd think that, as an arospec, i would have enjoyed the break from faking romance but at that point i didnt understand that my feelings werent quite real. i knew they werent like everyone elses, but i really wanted them to be even if it meant lying a bit to myself on the way. i felt wrong and weird.

in seventh grade that was when covid hit and everyone was quarentined, and also that is the year that holds my worlds most obvious example of my aromanticism ever. genuinely think back to this and go "how didnt i figure it out sooner"

i convinced myself i had a crush on my at-the-time best friend. there was no crush by the way, i judt knew i liked him more than all my other friends and to my socially deprived brain that meant it had to be romantic right? well he didnt like me back and literally i went, watched like two YouTube videos on something or other, and was over it. because the feelings were never genuine. it was never love it was a desire to be close with someone

8th grade was the first time i actually fell in love. by then i had figured out im a lesbian, and i met this girl named Jane. She was literally everything you could want in a girl and i fell HARRDDDDDDD i was so in love dont even. but I found that my capacity to love her fluxuated. the love was always there, but some days it was more platonic than anything. sometimes thr platonic periods would stretch for weeks. sometimes it would switch between platonic and romantic multiple times a day. it confused me and honestly? it scared me a lot. i distanced myself from her and eventually we broke up (for seperate reasons but this def contributed)

that really messed with me because now i was left with two understandings: i can definitely experience romantic attraction, and the romantic attraction can change at the drop of a hat.

after a lott of time and research i finally realized and accepted that im aromanticflux (will go into detail if necessary) and you know what? it didn't make me feel better. if anything it made me feel worse; i felt like such an asshole for getting in a relationship if it was always going to end.

now i am. Still coming to terms with my identity but i am learning to love and be kind to myself. the point of this whole thing is. youre never alone. there are eight billion people on earth, at least one of them is going through the exact same thing as you right now. you are not any less of a person because of your attraction or lack thereof

Your Daughter

A/N: this is judt a short one shot from Jakes POV with MC. It is based off the song "Your Daughter- by Chase McDonald's"

I'm in my office doing some work and my phone goes with Nymos for a phone call to MC. I noticed she instantly ignored it and yet they called a couple more times. I know this number, it's a number that every couple months calls her phone. The first time we had just moved in together and she shut down. I thought there was someone else but after doing my own research I quickly learned who that number was too.

I remember the day I confronted her about it. She pushed me out of the bedroom and locked the door. I had thought that conversation was going to go differently. I fell asleep sitting outside the bedroom listening to her crying all night. She finally opened the door in the morning and crawled into my arms. She finally told me about him, the man she calls her father.

He would go on drinking binges and promise her and her mom he would stop and get help. The promise would only last a couple months before the cycle repeated itself all her life. All her life she's hoped he would change but she knew it wasn't going to happen. She keeps in touch with the houseway half he stays at and it's the same story every time he reaches out.

I see the number come through another time and she doesn't answer. I hear a knock on the office door as I look up and I see tears in her eyes.

"Jake?" She says in the saddest tone that she can make.

I move away from the computer and walk up to her wrapping her in my arms. She instantly nuzzles into me and I pick her up. This trust in this moment hasn't always been easy. She shut me out many times when he would reach out. Countless times, Phil would call me as the bar is closed and she's passed out in a corner booth trying to drown her tears away.

I carry her to the bedroom and lay down pulling her as close as possible. This fight isn't over yet as he is still out there to keep breaking her heart.

"MC, baby?" I say lifting her head away from my chest. She doesn't answer but the look in her eyes says it all.

"He doesn't deserve to be in your life until he can prove he has changed. You don't have to push me away anymore and I'm glad you came to be instead of the bottle. You're smart, pretty, funny, sensitive, but tough. He doesn't know what he's missed" I say as I pull her back and I feel her melt. As she melts I know she has fallen asleep and I lay there with her.

I whisper softly "So this is for the guy who loved her before me. Every lie that you let her believe. No you can't change what's been done but you be proud of what she's become. Because she's sensitive she's tough. Yeah, she's always been more than enough. I see everything you didn't wanna see. I'm gonna show her that not everybody leaves. Don't call til' you wanna be her father. Signed: Man who loves your Daughter"

As I watch her sleep in my arms, I can't beginning to understand the kind of man he is to walk away from her. When we met her heart was so closed off and she wore her armour. You see, during the time we were talking to find Hannah, she acted so tough but after meeting her and spending as much time with you until I became free and moving in she kept this amour on.

It was until the first time I was around when he called that I saw her armor come off and I realized the first man to break her heart wasn't an ex but her own father. I've learned in this time to let her learn she can trust me and I have no desire to leave her again.

I pull her closer to me as I feel myself start to drift off with her head on my chest.

Okayy time to hit the hay. Bayclan 31 moons update:

This clan is soo drama free, everyone likes each other a lot platonically. Romance is pretty rare, just had thebfirst couple form by itself! Apricotsmoke has been in love with Eagletalon for a while now and she fell for him too:) not sure if theyll have babies tno, shes almost an elder by now.

Speaking of babies: we have a lot rn. The meddies 5 judt got apprenticed, and two young warriors, Mallowjay and Lichenpelt, had mystery babies recently👀 some halfclan, some from a loner. I wonder if the busclan meddie's tge father, hes been here asking for herbs a lot recently.

The two kits Apricot found when he first joined, Shineclaw and Mallowjay, are quite close but started disliking each other. Our Mediator Storkgrass could help them settle their dispute and now theyre on good terms again!

While Smallshine was in the nursery, her mate Swallowspot and her niece Pricklespots stepped up to the job. Prickle actually decided to keep the job. Since Cherrystar doesnt seem to be having family while Smallshine, Creekclaw and possibly soon Pricklespot's sister Applemask reproducing, this family seems to hold a lot of power in BayClan.

The whole clan is really cishet. So far only our StarClan guide Leapcrawl (lol) is out as trans, and the only gay dynamic so far is Smallshine, who may be with a tom, but also has a tiny crush on Storkgrass.

In total, we have 24 cats. No one died yet!

regarding the last reblog i did- (the one about tesla)

figured i should give an. updaye on the living situation.

we likely will not be able to get the property our hearts were set on. our landlord is struggling to sell his house and if the price drops below a certain amount, we won't be able to afford the property we are looking at.

the good news is we were already planning (we being my partner and i) to get bare bones just straight up land with nothing on it- from the beginning.

we were lucky to find the property we want, and i think if we don't end up living there, that the wuole purpose of the fates showing it to me was so we could show our roommates what we want to build.

the property has a yurt, 3 ponds, 2 fully outfitted small cabins, entirely solar powered, compost toilet in each building, water cachment on the roofs, several water tanks available, water treatment units under each structure, its own large garden with quite a few nice perennial edibles and some fruit trees, a large garage fully outfitted as a workshop with all the tools and equipment we would need to build or repair anything on the property, starling internet set up, and the other half is forested and had oyster mushrooms growing on some of the trees- and that was just from the short time we were able to look around the property.

but we likely won't be able to get it. they want it bought full price outright and it's looking more and more unlikely as time passes.

my partner and i have always gotten this look from our roommates that basically says "yeah your idea of offgrid sounds nice we support you but we want a house while u do that", -- UNTIL they saw this property nd saw what offgrid rly meant. when they heard the numbers for how low rent will be and literally only having to split the paymenr for property taxes and the internrt would be it for bills- their tune changed from "want house to share with roommates" to "i want my own yurt".

our landlord has become entirely dependent on my partner and after all we have done for him, he is letting my partner sign with him, onto the property he buys. we will own half and be able to build our own offgrid community.

my partner and i take this teasing with the other property as a showing of what can be, and how we can do it better. it would have been nice to judt be able to move into an already built and established offgrid community and just improve, but as i said, we had planned to start from bare land in the first place, from before sean and i ever moved up here and even while we were homeless. we have always been trying to just save money to literally buy land.

we are sad to have to say goodbye to the property we wanted. it definitely felt like a dream visiting it and i fell so in love with the interior of what would have been our little cabin.

would have been amazing, but just a touch out of reach.

below is a pic of the yurt from the outside (it is fucking MASSIVE inside), and a pic of the yard before the tree edge, and there are walking trails that go into the forest~

here are a few pics of what would have been our cabin. the kitchen, the living room and the deck.

but yeah. we likely won't be able to afford it.

i rly hope we can build something even better if we get bare land- there ARE some things about this property we did not like. for example, the graywater (water used from sinks and showers) simply just gets dropped under the buildings and the ownder intended the ponds to be a natural seeping and filtration system. he claims they are clean and even have fish but they are murky, looked like chocolate milk and had no plant life in or around the edges,plus the pond shores were eroding and one of them has clear signs of soil erosion along its banks. i had already made plans to procure aquatic plants to help restore and clean up said ponds because they just look so... sad. lot lifeless but just sad.

a lot of the stuff also atill relies on propane to run and we would like to move away from relying on that.

we can build better and it would definitely be easier and cheaper in the long run to start from nothing.

again we loved this property and it sucks to fall in love with it but not be able to ever live there, but i think it served a greay purpose in showing our roomies what my hubby and i want to build. i think when my partner and i described it to them, it sounded like a fantasy, but them being able to see these places are real and we absolutely can built self reliant, self sustaining offgrid homes and communites, has finally gotten them fully onboard.

the only thing they still seem to gawk at, is having to handle their own waste. xD having to empty the chamber for their compost toilets seems sooo bothersome. lmao i think that it will be a fine tradeoff from all the city bills and hubub.

anyhoo. that's the update. back to plan A, basically:

- procure land we can build on

- build our homestead/self sustaining community there (compicated and lots of steps but ttly doable.)

having been homeless and living from our car in the past, the prospect of camping on bare land while we build our dream homes (which ironically will just be small and humble tinyhomes from various reclaimables) seems blissful to my partner and i.

i hope we rly can pull thru with this.

my heart just fell through the floor when sasara's standing at the door in the rain again having Feels from the past. I literally started tearing up then (I cry at everything though don't feel bad, this is a compliment on your writing if nothing else) but the sweet mood came back so quickly with the hug!!

and when reading the kuujyu ones, it feels from the first moment of reading like...just cozy and comfy and it feels like Home (I just love them so much and your writing captures everything I adore about their relationship 10000000%)

AAAAA OMG I REMEMBER LITERALLY FALLING IN L O V E WITH SYDM LIKE A YEAR AGO OR SMTH WHEN I FIRST FOUND IT, I had been growing less interested in Enhypen at the time so that was the first Enhypen SMAU I read, and even though Jake wasn't my bias the plot was just SO fun to me as someone who used to love Evwr After High as a kid I remember reading literally all released chapters at the time in one sitting omg, I've been checking up on it every now and then just to see if you'd ever planned on continuing it (not that I would have faulted you for moving on! -i did some of my most important chores today!(a recent struggle cause wintertime has been a bitch to my body)

-am going to be getting to meet Ske(@this-is-ske) in a little over a month!! We've been friends for probably 3 years at this point?? Ske is so heckin awesome. I love them!! 🌻🌻🌻

-have been making genuine progress on the tss doll project, even the video parts(even if its not as perfect as i wish i could make it), something i was terrified of preparing for incase it all fell through because of my adhd/life/ect getting in the way. I genuinely adore this hobby, I just know I'm going to struggle because it uses alot more concentrated free time to progress than I actually have to give for most of the week. So. I'm happy and proud of myself that I'm making baby steps. Getting started is often the hardest part.

Wow lol this is so sad. Angst asf. Charthur asf. There's so many spelling errors plz don't hate me it's 2 in the morning lol

"you know he-" John began as he walked next to Charles along the pavements of Saint Denis.

"yeah" Charles nodded, his eyes avoiding contact with the smaller man's as they walked.

"I went back and buried him and miss grimshaw after the pinkertons left, he where he'd want to be" Charles smiled shortly, his mind casting back to the moment he thought about so very often.

Many years had past since the passing of Arthur Morgan. A man Charles hadn't known for long but had instantly bonded with. The memories he had of Arthur were sweet.

The two would share hunting trips together, Charles teaching Arthur how to better his bow skills, arthur failing at using a bow and questioning why he could just use a shotgun.

Charles was extremely fond of Arthur. The way he cared for his horse, how he helped others. He never failed to bring a smile to Charles face.

Arthur would often find himself lost in thought whilst with Charles. Hed taken to sketching Charles whilst they were both alone. Charles pretended not to notice, but it wsd hard not to laugh when Arthur began avoiding eyecontact everytime Charles caught him looking.

The first time it happened, neither of the pair were expecting it. They found themselves sharing a tent, which wasn't unusual as such, but it was something about Arthur that night, the way his long blonde hair was swept back and running down the nape of his neck, or maybe the way he lay close to Charles, his eyes wondering over the bigger man's face.

Neither of them could resist.

Theyd been awkwardly flirting before hand, but both men were to shy to admit the feelings that had formed.

"I'm sick Charles. It's. It's real bad." Arthur wheezed. His chest tight and his face pale as he rode alongside his secret lover. Charles looked over to Arthur. He'd suspected it. Arthur was losing strength by the day. His face paling, his eyes sinking. He looked tired.

Charles had tried to care for him. Telling him to sleep in whilst he'd bring him stew and tend to him, but Arthur had prioritys he needed to see to, and Charles respected that.

After rescuing Eagle flies, Charles decided to stay behind, leaving the gang. Arthur wanted to stay with him. But deep down he knew what had to be done.

In their final moments together, prying eyes fell apon them as they stood in the middle of wapiti.

There was nothing more they could have done.

Charles drew Arthur into a hug, trying not to look suspicious. Arthur wrapped an arm around Charles shoulder as he inhaled slowly, taking in the familiar scent of the man he loved so very much.

"I love you, arthur" Charles whispered, his lips ghosting over Arthur's ear.

A rouge tear rolled down Arthur pale skin as he nodded. "love you too, Charles" he whispered back, followed by a cough.

He rode off. He didn't look back. He couldnt. There was so much more he wanted to say, wanted to do.

The two had often spoke of their future together, leaving the gang and running away together, living the rest of their days in a small cabin somewhere. Both of them knew it was a low chance. But. They hoped.

Even after Arthur became ill, Charles assured him he'd never stop caring for him.

Arthur lay on the mountain side. The sun rise stinging his eyes but, he didn't seem to mind. It was beautiful. The way the clouds contrasted with the orange sun.

His mind began to wonder. Wonder back to the time him and Charles first layed eyes apon one another. To the time he first joined the gang. To the time he used to take baths with his dog Cooper, the time issac died, the first bank robbery, the time him and Charles went hunting, Pearsons god awful stew, Sean's questionable sense of humour, rescuing John off the mountain, the time he 360 no scoped Mary Linton and sent her flying off a fucking cliff as she plummeted to her well deserved death, getting boadicea and riding her for the first time, the wise words of the nun he'd helped, the photographer who'd nearly gotten himself killed by every animal imaginable, a war veteran hamish, hosea teaching him to hunt, young Jack and the flower crowns he used to make him.

The sick man smiled softly.

He took his last breath, and closed his tired eyes.

"I still think about him, yanno" Charles laughed, the drink beginning to talk as he sat on the newly placed steps of bleachers hope, uncle and John listening to him, both of them judt as drunk.

"there's not a day that goes by where I don't miss the dumb bastard" Charles said, a tear forming in his eyes despite the smile on his face.

"I buried him. I did. Carried his body. He was so, lifeless yet, that was my Arthur"

2. When I think I truly started to like them

I actually hated Zelos and found him so obnoxious that I was wavering between going for a Kratos route to get rid of him or just quitting the game lol.

However, I got that one shiny skit spot of Flanoir (the skit point, i got it long before the actual Flanoir scene) where Lloyd notices him brooding and tries to talk to him about it/the fact that he always hides his feelings and Zelos acts like no one has ever shown concern for him before a single day in his life :( And I think there was another similar skit like that too. I knew he had to have some trauma somewhere but letting the facade slip always gets me 😅 I started to like him judt a little. Oh, and then I switched from English to Japanese and fully fell in love with him in an instant. His Japanese voice so loud and expressive and gives him so much more personality.

13. My favorite friendship they have

Hmm, I feel like Lloyd is too obvious and everyone has said everything there is so be said so instead... Colette maybe? If you ignore the uhh... everything (or if you don't ignore it just leave it in for pain lol). They don't show nearly as much of them together as they should but that one skit alone allows them both a moment of surprising honesty and reflection about their experiences as Chosens. There are certain aspects of themselves and their lives that could only truly be understood by one another. I think they'd make good, close knit friends if it had been explored further.

Once upon a time, there was a girl named kathryn, she is 17 years old, a senior high school student at Ateneo de Manila University. She is very famous in there campus, because of her angelic face, nice attitude and she has white skin. In short she is very an ideal type of girl. She is also one of the top students in there school, because of her high grades and extra curricular activities. She had a boy bestfriend named Daniel. He is tall, moreno and handsome. He is one of the famous boys in there campus. He is a varsity player in volleyball. He is very caring and humble person, he is very kind person and most importantly he is gentleman. In short he is an ideal type of boy. He is sometimes badboy. Because of her attitude and physical appearance, many girls in there campus has a crush on him. Daniel and kathryn are bestfriends since they were grade schools. Because they were neighbors,since then daniel and kathryn are classmates since grade school to senior high school. But secretly kathryn likes daniel. It’s starts when they were first year high school. Kathryn slowly liking daniel because they always see each other everyday. Because of the attitude of Daniel, kathryn admires him alot. When kathryn is sad, daniel is always right beside her to cheer her up. He is always right there for her to take care of her. But she didn’t want daniel to know that she likes him. Because shes scared on what things might gonna happen next or in the future, or what consequences will she faced if she will confessed her feelings towards daniel. That’s why she keep that secret.But her cousin Julia and her parents know about it. In her room,under her bed,there was a small box. Inside was her diary, letters about daniel and all of there pictures together are there. Eveytime she opened that box and write a letter about Daniel makes her blushed. Kathryn: ofcourse dj, just call my name and Im always right beside you ( smile and hugs Daniel) After that conversation they both went home and still kathryn cant move on, she still remembers the things daniel told her. Kathryn: why not me?(she cry)she get her diary from her box and she wrote all the things happened on that day. Afterwards she feel asleep because shes tired and sad. Samantha is there schoolmate since high school. She looks sweet girl but she has a bad attitude but everytime daniel is arround she just turned to pabebe. Many girls doesn’t like her because of her bad attitude. She is the cheercaptain of the cheerdance of there campus. So it means Daniel and samantha merely see each other everytime they have a practice on the covered court. (After 3 years) Many things had changed on there lives. Daniel and kathryn didn’t see much because they were busy on there study. They are now 2nd year college. Kathryn took up secondary education manor in english, while daniel took up a engineering. After a year of courting, samantha and daniel are now together. Because of being a charming and gentlemen of daniel, samantha fell in love to him. Kathryn helps daniel to court samantha , she is the one making the gifts, brainstorming the ideas on how will daniel courts samantha. Daniel doesn’t know that kathryn is hurt, she is in pain she cried every night, but still then he helped daniel court samantha. Until samantha said yes to daniel. The ideas that kathryn planned are the things the she hope daniel will do it to her. Everytime kathryn see daniel and samantha in the campus shes in pain but she just thinks that she should be happy because daniel is happy as a bestfriend. If daniel is happy then kathryn should be happy for him too. One day,Kathryn clean her room, because her cousin julia will come back home from USA. Kathryn and Julia are very closed cousins, since they were kids until now. Kathryn shared all her secrets, problems in life and also Julia knows all about Daniel. Julia is 1 year younger than her. It’s exactly 11:00 am that day. After kathryn cleaned her room, she decided to take a bath. She didn’t know that daniel will come to there house. When daniel is already outside there house, he rings the door bell, then Kathryn’s mom is the one who opened the gate becaue there maid’s is at a vacation. Daniel: Hi tita Goodmorning (with a big smile) he hugs kathryns mom Mom: Oh Dj Hello goodmorning also,you’re so gwapo and tall ha. Mom: Long time no see Dj. How are you now? Daniel: Well tita, Im still cute and handsome(laughs) just kidding tita, Im fine tita thankyou for asking. Daniel: Is kathryn inside tita? Mom: Yes, I think shes in her room Daniel: Can I go to her tita? i just need to see her, because we didn’t see and talk each other that much in school. Mom: Oh really?just go inside, I will just lock the gate, then I will cook for our lunch. Daniel: Ok tita Thanks! Daniel went to Kathryns room, when his already inside. Daniel: Kath?Kath? Are you there? (Inside the restroom) When kathryn is taking a bath, she heared a voice, kathryn knows whos that voice is. Kathryn: Dj? Is that you? Daniel: Yep yep, I’ll just wait here kath ok? Kathryn was surprised because Daniel went to their house to see her. It’s been a long time since Daniel go to kathryns house. While Daniel is waiting, he sit down to kathryns bed, while he looks around the room. He noticed a small box at the table. Because its very colorful and small he get it without even knows that all things inside the box is all about him. Kathryn is still at the restroom while daniel opened the box. When he gets the first letter he reads it. After be reads that, he then reads all the letter. Daniel: whattttt? (Confused) kathryn likes me?( whispered to him self) He then saw all the pictures of them with a description at the back.He is confused.Daniel asked him self Daniel: But why? Why didn’t she tell me? Kathryn and Daniel didn’t see each other, they have no phone calls at all because she threw away her sim card so daniel will no longer call her, she ended there communication.She had no hard feelings towards Daniel but She think it is better if they have no communication, she wants to move on to all those things happened in her life, and she wants to move on to daniel too. One day, Daniel was assigned near where kathryn was working. Daniel was new to that place because it is way too there house.The workplace of daniel was a bit near to where kathryn is working. Its lunch time, Daniel with his workmates decided to buy there lunch at the university near there workplace, it is where kathryn is working.Some of Daniels workmates told him that they always eat and but there lunch at the university since it is yummy and affordable.While entering the gate, They walk at the hallway, Daniel look around, when he suddenly saw a tarpaulin with the pictures of the new comers teachers.When he is looking the tarpaulin he suddenly noticed a girl, Daniel: is that kath?(he whispered) When she saw the picture of kathryn he seems very happy and excited to see her since their workplace and the university is very near. He can visit kathryn anytime he wants. But his problem now is to find kathryn in the university. After they buy there lunch they decided to go back to their office to eat their lunch while going out Daniel told himself Daniel: I hope we see each other again kath (smile) I will find a way to find you (After 1 week) He decided to visit the university since he has now the confidence to face kathryn again. He ask some of the students in the campus. Daniel: Hi goodmorning! Do you know Ms.Kathryn? Student 1: Oh hi sir Goodmorning also. Wait who?Ms.kathryn?(student1 look at student 2) Students2: Oh Ms. Kathryn Bernardo the new teacher of the campus. Student 1: oh I remembered Ms. Kathryn is the new teacher. Daniel: Oh great! Actually Im finding her, where is her room number or office by the way? Daniel went to the building to find kathryn. When he is already at the first floor he whispered to himself. Daniel: Im here kath ( smile) The school is having a class since it is 10 am.When he is already at the front room 134 he peek out in the window to see if kathryn is there. When there is only the students he opened the door and go inside. He asked the students. Daniel: Hi guys Goodmorning!where is Ms.Kathryn Students: Goodmorning sir Student 1: He is at her office sir,she just get something then she will be back. Daniel: Oh really?Thankyou guys Students: Your welcome sir When daniel closed the door,he turned left and saw a girl walking towards him, since the girl was far,he can’t see clearly the face,when the girl is near towards him , that face is very familiar to him. Daniel: Kath? Kathryn: Dj?is that you? Daniel waits until the last class of Kathryn. It is already 3 pm (in the room where there is only the two of them) Daniel: how are you Maam Kathryn?(laughs) Daniel: Its been years since the last day we see each other. Kathryn: Yes its been so long since we see each other Dj, By the way what are you now? Daniel: Well Iam now a engineer at private company.Im really happy now that I see you again after a years. By the way where did you go?why didn’t you tell me kath? I worried a lot, I searched you on facebook but I cant see your account, Ive call you a lot of times but you didn’t answer. I ask many people but then they didn’t also know where did you go.Why did you leave without me knowing that your leaving? Kathryn: Theres so many things happened in the past years Dj,right? Kathryn: I just need some space to grow by my self and to find my own happiness. Kathryn: Im really also very happy that I see you again Dj Kathryn: So how are you now?How’S samantha by the way? Daniel: Well its been 2 years since we brake up kath Kathryn: Oh really?,Im sorry to hear that Dj. Daniel and Samantha broke up because daniel saw the true attitude of samantha, they have no time for each other, they already no spark, since then Samantha find her happiness to other guy, she had a secret relationship with other guy without daniel didn’t know. When the time Daniel knows the truth, he broke up to her. Since then daniel became single until now. Daniel: I realized that if could only bring back time I hope I choose you kath rather than samantha. Daniel: Kath Im sorry because I didn’t listen to you Daniel: I came back because I want you to be mine kath Kathryn was shocked on what daniel said. Daniel: I really missed you kath, can we bring back those good memories of us? Daniel: I want to make more memories with you kath (he holds her hands) Kathryn: Everything happened for a readon Dj, Im happy right now because I see you again but the things that you sa earlier is very complicated now Dj. Kathryn: now and the past are very different. Daniel: complicated?why is it complicated kath? Kathryn stands and walks towards the window Kathryn: Im getting married Dj (She shows her hand to Dj with an engagement ring) Daniel was shocked Daniel: but why? Kathryn: No dj, you should ask yourself why you didn’t choose me before, why you didn’t listen to me? Are you gonna still go and find me? If you and samantha didn’t broke up?Do you still gonna find me? Kathryn: Im sorry Dj , but I didn’t regret on what things happened in the past, because in that pain I became more braver, I learned a lot from that,I became a better version of myself. Kathryn: Im happy right now dj, I hope you will find your someone soon, someone that can love you, someone that can be your bestfriend, someone that will not leave you.We can still be bestfriends Dj,we can make memories together again. Daniel:Do you love me kath? Kathryn: (holds daniel face) I love you Dj as my bestfriend. Kathryn is getting married to James. James was that guy collided before by kath. Since the day James know the name of kath, he is always chats her, until they became close, he is the one who is always there for kath, he can make kath happy, he is the who cheers up kathryn everyday, he is the reason why kathryn moved ob from daniel, he always gave kathryn flowers and chocolates and gifts so that kathryn will be happy and so that she can fell that someone is loving her.After a year, they are now married and they live happily ever after. #creativewritingshortstory

He was there. You were here. He was goegeous. You were average. His smile was everything. Your smile was enough. His eyes were special. Yours were just (y/e/c).

That was what you kept telling yourself, repeatedly as you glanced from time to time at the boy you've secretely liked since Third year.

One glance and your heart raced for a second or two.

You focused back on your parchment, scribbling down the ingridents, pretending to listen to the professor.

Your heart calmed down but with another glance, it started to race again.

" Amortentia, the strongest love potion. Elixir to induce Euphoria. Polyjuice potion, to transfrom from one to another. Wiggendewel potion, to awaken someone from sleep..." professor Slughorn counted down the potions for the upcoming exam, your hand writing them all down and your eyes glancing from professor, to your parchment, professor, parchment and back to him. The boy who appereantly fell asleep to Slughorn speech.

You couldn't blame him. He hated potions and what made it even worse for him, you had potions right first period on fridays.

One glance. It's all it took you to know that three rows before you there was a boy, sitting with his head laid on his arm and pulling in quiet snores to which only James next to him could hear.

"What was the last one?" asked Alice beside you, causing your thoughts of the boy to fly away and the sly smile that crawled on your lips, fade away.

" Uhm...Volubilis potion. " you simpered and she wrote it down aggressively, causing her pen to let out drops of ink on her parchment.

Slughorn's eyes were now focused on the sleeping boy in the third row before you. His eyes narrowed and his lips turned in a thin line. He stopped before his desk and grabbed the books, lifting them and letting them fall back on the desk.

Sirius' head popped up and he confusely looked around. "Fairly, I ought to wonder why Mr. Black would want to sleep through my class, especially the class where I explain the subject of the upcoming exam."

"And fairly, sir, I ought to think that I will do an outstanding work on this exam if I get just enough amount of sleep." Sirius replied. His voice was low and raspy, his hair a bit messy and his lips turned into a grin.

The class chuckled, the corner of your lips turning up as you continued to draw squares on the top of your parchment.

You glanced up, his eyes met yours and your heart stopped for a second. Your pen removed itself from the parchment, your eyes now staring at his before they turned back around at the professor.

"Meet me after class, Sirius." said professor loudly and sharp, turning around with his robes and walking back to his desk.

Sirius' head turned to his best friend, causing James to snicker before turning it around again and lock his eyes with yours once again.

Your head was empty, your ability to move, to smile, to do something was completely unavailable at the moment. He stretched a grin and winked.

You felt your head spin but then again you shook off the feeling and smiled in return.

' He's a friend. Do not get involved with him.' you scolded yourself.

The two of you were friends. Not close but friends. You supressed your feelings for him the moment you started feeling them.

He was a pure-blood. You were a half-blood. He was from the Wizarding world. You were from the Muggle world. He came from a wealthy family. You came from not that wealthy family but not poor either. He was out-going. You kept your feelings and your thoughts to yourself.

The two of you were contrast in many ways than one and who were you to be in his league.

" Hey! (Y/l/n)! " he shouted after you, struggling to get through the crowd and to you.

A smirk crept on your lips and you turned around, tugging your books closer to your chest. "Black?"

He was now close and smiling. " A lovely smile you sent me there." he started but you only rolled your eyes.

"Please, Black. Stop with the flirting and get to the point. You know it doesn't work on me." you snorted and his grin spread across his own lips.

" You should feel honored I decided to come to you. It's not an every day that you get to see Sirius Black." he boasted and you scoffed.

"Yes, especially when this amazing Sirius Black drools on the desk. " you teased and he chuckled. " But yeah, don't worry. Here." you pulled out your list of potions.

"Firstly, I don't drool. And secondly, thank you." he took the parchment and stuck it in his own book. " You'll get it back soon."

Because from all the students, classmages and friends. He decided to get your notes. It's not that he held any feelings for you but it let you wonder.

He could have just copied from James. It's a short list. Could he- no. You shook your head and left for your next class. " He'd never."

And a week had passed since then, your list of potions was never returned but you didn't mind. You studied with Alice and she let you borrow hers.

You ran through it one more time while Alice closed her book and let out a huff. " I'm done."

"Already? But we haven't gone through the last three potions." you quirked an eyebrow and she got up, stretching her back.

" I'm going to wing it." she yawned and you let out a snort of laughter.

" That's usually my line."

" I know but it works, doesn't it?"

"What do you mean?"

" Well, whenever you decide to give up on the last minute studying, you say 'I'm going to wing it.' and then you end up passing every exam."

" Not every exam. I can never pass Arithmancy."

"Nobody can pass Arithmancy. Arithmancy is shite."

You laughed at her comment and closed the book as well. " The reason I pass them is becuase I cheat on the exam."

" Yeah about that, how do you do it?" she asled as she started to gather her books.

You shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I wing it."

She narrowed her eyes in envy. "I hate your not caring arse." and she left.

" Love you too! " you shouted behind her and started to gather up your books as well.

Alice. She was always so nice yet so sassy. It was a good combination. No wonder every guy fell for her.

You smiled to yourself and lifted the pile in your arms. Gaining your balance, you turned your way towards the stairs and started walking.

A few steps up and you were already on the floor. Not because you have lost your balance but because someone ran into you with super speed and knocking you down.

" Urgh!" you groaned, rubbing the back of your head before finally looking up at the person. " Sirius?" you asked after the pain disappeared and the surroundings became clearer.

His eyes were wide, scared, filled with unshed tears. You heart grew heavy at the sight but before you could say anything he just stormed out.

Doubting yourself first, you got on your feet and started running after him.

You didn't know what you were doing.

Your back was in so much pain and still you continued to run after a boy who you weren't even close friends with.

But you did it anyway. You ran after him. He was walking fast and with heavy breathing. He wanted to turn into his Animagnus form but couldn't due to a girl following him.

He wantes to say something. He wanted to do something to let you leave him alone. For you to not see him in this situation. But his head was heavy and his heart was racing. The air was suffocating his lungs and a lump in his throat made his stomach knot.

Until he couldn't hold it in any longer. His bare feet touched the cold grass and he just fell on his knees, sobbing uncontrollably.

You stopped in your tracks, rethinking your decision, doubting yourself once again.

"Sirius." you spoke quietly,making your way to him and placing your hand on his shoulder.

He was ashamed to look up. He couldn't lift his head and face you.

Sirius Black crying. Ay, there's something everybody would gladly see.

" Sirius, look at me." You spoke softly and placed your hand against his cheek.

His eyes locked with yours, cheeks completely wet from the tears and his breathing was strong and fast.

"Calm down."

"I-I can't." he sobbed and continued to breathe even heavier. " I- I" he tried to speak but the lump in his throat prevented him from saying a word.

You heart was racing. You didn't know what to do. There was no doubt he was having a panic attack. Crying uncontrollably, choking on his own breath.

You had no idea of what to do so in a desperate situation, the only thing you thougnt of was pulling him closer and hugging him tightly. Both of your were on your knees, your arms wrapped around him as your head was pressed on his shoulder.

"Calm down." you spoke very softly and quietly.

His arms were wrapped around you as well, his head burried in the crook of your neck and his hands knotting themselves in your shirt.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." he continued to pant, cry, sobb...

" Don't be sorry. Just calm down." you whispered back and slowly, very slowly he started to calm down.

After he got his thoughts back together, he sniffed a few times and lulled away. "Guess you want your list back." he joked around, causing you to roll your eyes once again.

"Really? You almost give me a heart attack and you later joke about it."

" Awfully bad habit." he smirked and you threw yourself back on the grass.

Your eyes were set on the starry night and your thoughts running wild in your head, not wanting to settle down. " You want to talk aboit it?" you blurted out without thinking, your eyes on the sky.

" Not really."

" Is it the reason you sleep in every class?"

" Maybe."

You laid on the ground, staring at the stars and staying quiet.

After a few moments, you got on your elbows and looked up at him.

He looked at you as well, somehow ashamed of the situation he was in.

You smiled.

He quirked an eyebrow.

"Come on." you got up on your feet, patting your clothes and offering him a hand.

He got up as well, patting his shorts and smiling. "Where?"

"To the kitchen."

"What? Why?"

" To adopt a dragon. What do you think why? Food makes everything better." you grabbed him by the hand, this time determined.

" You surprise me, (y/n) (y/l/n)." he smiled and you chuckled.

" So do you, Sirius Black."
