1) I really hope this is not another bait...

There’s so much buildup that I wonder if this is going to be disappointing. Or if it will even happen at all…

Well, we’re back to where they got the go-ahead from the doctor, but...
2) People keep interrupting them, and I just wonder why Jane won’t just be open about it and tell her mom, dad, and grandma that they want some privacy to finally get laid!
3) “If you weren’t a singer, what would you be?”

It’s an interesting question indeed, considering she’s not really a singer and she hasn’t done much with her life so far. It’s a weird question to be asking yourself when you’re pushing forty, right? But I guess Xiomara always followed her impulse and that’s how she led her life, there wasn’t really much time to think about what she wanted to do. I’m kind of curious to see where they go with this.
4) New character, I guess?

So, this is Cecilia, Alba’s sister and the one responsible for telling everyone Alba wasn’t a virgin on her wedding day.

I found the whole “You and I finishing at the same time” comment… odd? And tbh, Jane doesn’t look very satisfied. But at least she got it over with! Of course, he fell asleep right after, and it doesn’t feel as magical as she’d expected, I guess. But I mean, why should it? Expectations about the first time having sex should be very low, but culturally women are raised to make this huge deal of their “first time” and “losing their virginity”, and it’s very difficult to shed those expectations, right?
6) OMG she’s sending a sex tape of her first time with her husband to her advisor!
But… the most important question is, is she going to watch that video? Will Michael and Jane watch it? Will they do a play-by-play analysis? Will he notice that she didn’t really come?
7) “It was actually my first time” “Oh, that explains things…”
Well, the advisor (I’m sorry, can’t remember her name!) made it out to look like she was talking about her writing – which she might well have been – and how it was lacking something. I think I’ve actually mentioned this before, but It’s kind of odd for Jane to be a romance writer and to be writing sex scenes without actually having experienced sex herself. The advisor makes a good point – romance without sex is just fantasy. And I’m not saying that you can’t have romance if you’re asexual. But that’s not the type of stories Jane is writing or the audience she’s writing for. Anyway, I think the advisor was actually talking about her performance in the tape and not her writing. Or maybe both.

And of course, her friend tells her NOT TO TELL MICHAEL, and I’m like, huh? I just wish this would stop being a storyline? Both the faking and the not-talking to your partner about your feelings regarding the sexual experiences you share with them. Not having an orgasm is just part of the sexual experience and there’s nothing wrong with it, and sex can still be enjoyable even when you don’t have an orgasm. So let’s see where they take this storyline. I’m guessing Michael is going to be super supportive, and will try to make it up to her.
9) Why is this still a thing in this show? We get it, Luisa is a fucking moron, and she makes terrible decisions. I wish there was more to her character than that.

10) And I know that we crave representation for LGBTQ+, but… Rose is a fucking psycho? And this is almost a textbook abusive relationship? She’s literally kidnapped Luisa, isolated her, and keeps telling her how she’s alone and Rose is the only one there for her. (and I’m not even touching on the whole murderer/drug lord thing because that’s just part of the zaniness of this show.)
11) Okay, Xiomara is considering moving on from singing, but move on to what?

13) Okay, I liked this joke.
JANE: What’s the CW? Like a streaming thing? ROGELIO: No, no! It’s a huge network! Look it up! Amazing shows! Fabulous line-ups! 
Anyway, Jane is very intent on manipulating her mom into finding her passion for singing again, and I don’t know how I feel about this. Yes, Xiomara loves singing, but what is wrong with giving up? She hasn’t really made it, and there are other things she might be passionate about that she hasn’t figured out yet because she’s been pursuing her “singing career.” I know Jane is trying to be supportive, but if she truly were, she would just try to help her mom to find what other avenues she can pursue instead of tormenting her with her unfulfilled dreams. It just feels like another thing Jane does because it’s what she wants rather than being selfless and thinking of others.
14) See? This is why you should be honest with your partner about your orgasms or lack thereof…

15) I’m loving this Cecilia character. I kind of wish she was the leading lady, actually. She’s so fun, even if she’s a figment of Jane’s imagination!
16) Rogelio is selling his show to the CW, but Rob Lowe will be the leading man, not him. I see how this could easily lead to an existential crisis for Rogelio, but I have so much faith in him, he’ll probably take it in stride and turn into a bigshot Hollywood producer.
17) Hm. Day two and Jane is already trying to spice up their sex life? This doesn’t bode well. And Michael is telling her not to discuss their glitch with anyone to protect his fragile ego? Because he tells her she can say they had sex, but that she shouldn’t mention how it wasn’t good? Double hm. And now Jane is with Xiomara, someone who could actually help her get out of her head and understand what she’s going through, but she keeps her mouth shut because Michael’s ego is more important.
18) And then she finds this…

I hope this sets her straight.
19) So… instead of getting on board with Xiomara wanting to move on after finding the list, Jane and Rogelio continue to plot to get her “back on track.” But why?
20) For a second, I thought Rafael had truly sent a caring, loving email to his sister, but it seems to be a ploy to get her to reply and reveal her location. Considering she’s a moron, she’ll probably fall for it, but it’s kind of sad? When she was reading the email, I was hoping it would be her wake-up call (if the fact that she literally jumped and gasped when Rose walked into her room wasn’t already a warning sign…) and that she would try and leave this toxic relationship. But if she’s being lured by false declarations of brotherly love… I don’t know, it feels wrong. Yes, she’s a fucking moron, but what makes her a moron is that she’s constantly looking for love and affection. That’s always her downfall.
21) Now, that is a cameo…

22) So… Rogelio got freaking Gloria Estefan to help Xiomara, but it never occurred to him that it might have the opposite effect. Because Xiomara has seen Gloria and Emilio casually sitting there and watching her show and she’s freaking out.

23)  So… Lina Has just offered to help Michael and Jane and demanded a play by play, and Michael remembered the sex tape. He’s not going to show it to Lina, though, right? He’s just going to watch it and figure out what went wrong.
24) Oh, no she didn’t!

Why is she so intent on convincing Xiomara to continue pursuing a career that hasn’t really worked out for her? She hasn’t made it, and it doesn’t look like she will anytime soon, and that’s OKAY! What’s wrong with wanting to try other things? What if she’s really talented at something else and she’s missing the opportunity to shine because she’s stubbornly fixated on being a singer? And why does it matter so much to Jane? Why does she need to control everything and everyone’s lives?
25) So… this whole obsession with Xiomara’s career is because… Jane gave up her virginity? Huh? That doesn’t make sense? How is Xiomara’s singing career a metaphor for Jane’s virginity? I’m just confused! The show is usually very good at pulling off this type of parallelism and metaphors, but this time it just didn’t work for me.
26) See? Xiomara had the right answer all along:
“With sex, it can take time to find your groove and figure out what you like, what you need. You’re just starting out. You’ll get there.”
27) So… they end up watching their own sex tape, and finally have satisfying intercourse, I guess. I kind of wish this storyline hadn’t been resolved in an episode, though, it doesn’t feel realistic.
28) So, that was the reason for the riff between Alba and her sister Cecilia…

He apologized for the way he broke-up with her, and then they decided to embrace their artistic connection. And now he has six months to become famous in America so that he can be the lead of his own show in the CW hahaha! I feel this storyline will be lots of fun.

Rafael’s mom was on her kill list, before she even killed her. And Muter died holding a bible and clamoring for her son. I guess this will be Rafael’s storyline, then.
32) To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of this episode. Usually, the plot A and plot B are connected in a way that makes sense, and this week, it felt a bit far-fetched to have Jane obsess over Xiomara’s singing career because she had let go of her virginity. I don’t know, what are your thoughts? Let me know in the comments!

A/N: Fuck it, I'm writing the second after not even 24h :)))) hope yall are happy uwu smh only 30+ notes for part 1 and thats more than enough for me,,, i love u all 💖

Warnings: Cursing.
Summary: Y/N's been awfully interested in Harry Potter ever since she met him the first day she arrived at Hogwarts. Not that everyone else did, but crushes. What else could she say? It isn't until Draco, coincidentally crushing on Y/N, spots Potter and her laughing wholeheartedly, like nothing else in the world matters. Frustration hits him unexpectedly, and he tries everything to get him to lure you to him, eventually making you his.

Sunlight hits your skin, carefully waking you up by the second it caressed you. You were thinking about what had happened yesterday, trying to remember everything. That's right, Draco Malfoy had wished that you should rest, after that stupid gesture of slapping Harry. You knew it wasn't right, but why did he have to mention Malfoy everytime Harry was talking to you?! Was he obsessed with him or something? Didn't he catch on by now? How could he be so foolish in a time like this?
You got up from your bed, changing in your robes and grabbing a few books from your shelf. Morning wasn't exactly your cup of tea, having to wake up so early. However, you knew Hermione and Ron were already awake, making you smile widely, excited to join them again. For Harry.. you wanted to wait for more than a week before talking to him again. Or maybe apologize now and forget about it? How the hell were you suppose to say sorry and get over it in only such a short matter of time?
Maybe Harry isn't my best choice..?
You think to yourself, before frowning and shaking your head in resentment, feeling the bitterness of your jealousy pitch in. He had someone else in mind, didn't he? Could it be? What if you were just over thinking everything? You knew how aggravated you could get sometimes, especially when one of your crushes had their eyes on somebody else.
Stomping around the coridors and walking inside the Great Hall to join your friends, you notice Harry eyeing you, touching his cheek before excusing himself, to leave you, Ron and Hermione alone. Your heart broke in millions of pieces, each and every one of them stinging your insides as you tried your best not to worry. Hermione rubbed your back soothingly, while Ron tried to make up reasons as to why he left. "No need, Ron," You cut him off, smiling softly, feeling as melancholic as ever. Your eyes glistened, tears falling free out of your E/C orbs. It was like you had lost the tiny stars that usually shun in your pupils. Your cheeks were soft as they held the taste of salty tears.
During breakfast, you couldn't help but see Malfoy, always staring back at you. He almost laughed everytime he thought back to when you slapped Potter across the face. Although, you ignored him, simply playing with your food or talk to your friends again. After what had happened, you weren't hungry, nor tired. All you needed was someone to talk to, someone even closer than the trio. Not that you hated them, or didn't trust them. You just wanted space away from them.
Parting so early, Hermione pouted at the notice of your exit. She told you it would be fine at the end of the day, and that you didn't have to worry about Harry. You picked up your belongings, waved goodbye and left for class. It was way too early to be heading there, but better be safe than sorry. God, it had to be Snape's class too. Way to start the day.
"Hey, Y/L/N, over here,"
"Y/L/N.."
"Y/L/N!"
You were startled by the sudden yelling, turning around to see who it was-
Draco fucking Malfoy.
You couldn't believe your eyes when he had just ordered you to come his way. Who did he think you were? His little pet? Chuckling, you shook your head in disgust and walked away from the now angered blonde-haired male. He was furious, thin brows furrowed while he trailed behind you, your body getting pulled backwards without hesitation. "What the fuck, Malfoy? What do you possibly need from me, for you to drag me away towards you?!"
He expected that response, a sly smirk forming on his pale rosy lips. "You know, Y/L/N, I've always wondered why you hated me. Is it because of what dear Potter told you? Do you truly believe him after that night?" He was easily teasing you, you backing up in a corner as Malfoy had you right where he wanted. "Uh.. to be precise I, uh.. I-I mean, y-yes," It had been a while since you stuttered your sentences, feeling yourself becoming weak and unsure with the questions he was about to ask you. "Aren't you too good for anyone, though? I've heard Potter mentioning great things about you. Like how selfless and helpful you are for your comrades. He doesn't see you like how you see him. He acts just like.. your little fanboy."
You were left speechless. What Malfoy had said was getting through your head. Was it true? Who could you believe? You hadn't known Malfoy for a while but, what if he was correct? What if everything was just a lie and that he had been been playing with you? Hermione and Ron had hinted plenty of times to Harry that you liked him.
He knew, didn't he.
"I-I.. Draco.." You began sobbing, thankfully your sleeves were wiping everything away. But it kept going and going, when would it stop? You made such a fool out of yourself, in front of him, too. It was at that moment a large figure embraced you; comforted by the touch, you stayed there, mesmerised by how gentle the gesture was. None other than Draco finally spoke, looking away from you.
".. Never speak of this," Draco whispered below your ear, hot breath tingling your neck. He felt absolutely devastated. Not only did he just undoubtedly tell you that he loved you, but just witnessed you crying for he 2nd time today. It was an issue that he could get way more attached than he intended to, insisting on accompanying you to Snape's class with him. He just had to have the same class, didn't he?
You two walked together in silence, Draco about to speak, then giving up on ever starting a conversation. It was too awkward to talk anymore, you being too tired to make an effort or just desperately wanting to get inside the classroom and forget about everything. That's right, you wanted to forget. While Draco, him on the other hand, had enjoyed every second. He had you placed exactly as planned, and he didn't even try his best. Was he a genius or a genius?
"Mr Malfoy. Miss Y/L/N. Unusually.. early. And together..?" Snape stared at the two of you, curious as to what you would reply with. "I wasn't with him. He just happened to be in my way. I'd be grateful if you didn't get the wrong idea, Professor," That proved you were in your wrong mindset, talking back to your teachers in a way you would never dare use. Oh boy, did Draco love that side of you. He goddamn loved discovering what else you could do.
Class finally started and went the same as usual. The trio being shocked to find you here before anyone else but otherwise it was like any other normal Hogwarts class. Snape rounded the class up, eyes especially locked at you. "Do not forget your assignments tomorrow.. any excuses will be a detention with me.. class dismissed," At last, you could now go and take a small break before heading to your second period.
Draco kept an eye on you too, following you as always instead of meeting up with his friends. He got way too attached by the second he laid hands on you. It.. wasn't pleasant. You're now heading close to your other class, wondering if Malfoy had the same. You prayed to God he didn't. He was behind you for Potions and all he did was mumble and stare. Mumble and stare. He didn't even look that happy and it genuinely made you feel scared for him. No reason to, but you just did.
Sitting down on the ground, you patiently waited for the second bell to ring, leaving you to go to your next class. Not now though, you had to finish off your F/B. Chapter 11 was always the interesting part. Meanwhile, Draco was hesitant. He took a deep breath, stepping towards you to back away again. It was useless. You weren't ever going to give him the attention he craved, were you?
"Y/N,"
You looked up, seeing the familiar boy stand in front of you. A deep sigh escaped your mouth and you stared back down at your F/B, uninterested as to what he had in store for you now. The way he looked at you earlier; he was serious. Probably a bit too serious. Not the Draco-- Malfoy, you knew earlier. You didn't want to get involved again, knowing what he had accomplished an hour ago wasn't something you wanted to experience again.
"What do you need now, you annoying cutie-?"
Did you just say that? Out loud? You didn't mean that at all. You swear it was an accident.
"ANNOYING PRAT. ANNOYING. PRAT. What do you want, Malfoy!" You smile widely, embarrassed, nervous and regretful towards yourself. You wish that was Harry- however life wasn't always that generous. He laughed, louder than usual, and crouched down to take a look at your book. "Huh, you read F/B? Never thought someone like you would be interested in such genre," That's fine.. he wasn't touching on the fact that you called him by the nickname 'cutie'. "And.. you shouldn't get too cocky, Y/N. Who knows what a cutie like me might achieve once alone with you?"
Now he was going way past your likings. Fuck! Why did you call him that in the first place? He wasn't cute.. or adorable.. he wasn't sweet.. you didn't find him charming at all. It wasn't like he was handsome too. None of that you thought of course. You liked Harry. Harry Potter. Potter, the one who rejected you. The one who had gotten slapped. Everyone knew about that too. They couldn't believe someone from Y/H would dare do such a thing to The Boy Who Lived. "..Merlin's beard, will you please just- just leave me alone. Please. Just once," Your sighs were repetitive now, everytime Draco was in sight.
"Understandable, sweetheart," He muttered, leaving you behind with a wink and light brush of his hand touching yours. You hated how you melted at that single action. It wasn't normal for you to be so tense around a guy you despised with a passion. What else could he be planning behind your back? When you were distant from your friends and family, you had plenty of reasons to stay alone by yourself. You could finish so many assignments with no one around.
The next class finished in a mattered of minutes, already grabbing your stuff and heading straight for the door. After all this fuss, it was lunch. You were starving. You kinda felt like Ron right now, craving anything that deemed edible but at first entering the Great Hall. Alone, book in hand while feeding yourself, your friends were immediately coming towards you, wanting to catch your attention ever since this morning.
"Y/N Y/M/N Y/L/N!" Hermione yelled, "Where were you this whole time?! We've been wondering and saw you with Malfoy, is everything okay?" Ron hurried over next to you, examining you head to toe. "Thank Merlin, you're okay. Why were you sat at the back during Potions? And what happened during 2nd class? You nearly fell asleep at the back! Again! You're never ever at the back!" They gave you a reason to smile slightly, putting your book down and explaining everything. Expect for when Draco hugged you.
They were all surprised but were glad you were okay. The only person missing that didn't show up was Harry. You hadn't seen each other since this morning, making your heart ache. Your smile was widening again, being the wonderful sunshine you use to be years ago. You missed this. You wished Harry was there to see you.
"Y/N," Speak of the devil, "I need to talk to you. Privately," What was so important, all of a sudden?
"I know your secret,"

Before you moved to live on campus for college, you had never heard of a librarian who had a reputation for yelling. But not only does Min Yoongi yell, he’s also dangerous, and part of something much, much darker. When curiosity gets the better of you, you end up involved in much more than you bargained for.

You left the building feeling thoroughly disturbed. You could still feel the phantom sensation of Jaebum breathing down your neck, and you shivered as though you had just walked through a spider web. Your side hurt where you had been kicked, but the tears stinging the corners of your eyes had nothing to do with that. Jaebum was completely insane, and if you weren’t careful, you could very well lose everything.
You were already a block or so away from Jaebums base, but felt like you couldn’t get away fast enough. You turned an ally on your left, the quickest way back to Bangtan. Something crashed to one side, and you jumped only to see a small cat scurrying away from the trashcan it had just overturned.
“Dumb cat.” You muttered, before a hand clamped down over your mouth and pulled you sideways so a dumpster hid you from view of the street.
“I don’t think a cat is your biggest concern right now.” 
You knew the voice, and you relaxed somewhat, pulling the hand away from your mouth.
“Jesus, Jungkook!” You snapped. “Were you trying to give me a heart attack?”
Jungkook snorted. “Did it work?”
You decided to ignore this. “Please tell me you got it.”
Jungkook smirked at you, holding a backpack out to you. “Everything went perfectly, thanks to you and the spectacle you caused.”
You let out a breath you hadn’t realized you were holding. “Thank god.”
“Actually, thank me. And Jimin for hacking their security system.” You had no idea how Jungkook had actually gotten into the building—there were only two doors to the main level, and both of them were guarded. Taehyung had told you that Jungkook was going to climb the outside wall to the second floor where Jaebums office was, but you thought he was joking. It didn’t really matter though, you supposed. You were to cause a scene, lure as many people to you and Jaebum as possible, so there would be less of a chance of someone running into Jungkook. To make sure that he wasn’t seen on the security cameras, Jimin was going to hack in and play a recording—something he could only do for a limited time before it was noticed. The plan was iffy at best, and the fact that it had worked was a miracle.
You smiled for what felt like the first time since Jinyoung had shown up in your dorm room. To your surprise, Jungkook returned it.
“I uh… Owe you an apology, I think.” He said as the two of you began walking further down the ally. “You’re really not half-bad.”
“Thanks.” You said dryly, though you appreciated that at least he wasn’t mad at you for once.
“Stop walking, Jungkook.” A soft voice said, and you both turned slowly. Even in the dim light, you recognized the man as Yugyeom. He had a hand gun raised and pointed at Jungkook.
“Yugyeom.” Jungkook said, sounding surprised. “What are you…?”
“What’s in the bag?”
Jungkook visibly stiffened. “I think you know.”
“You’re right. I do.” Yugyeom took a step forward. “I should kill you now.”
You backed away. Why hadn’t Yugyeom just shot Jungkook? Surely stealing vital information was reason enough to shoot, so what was going on?
“Maybe you should, but you’re not going to.” Jungkook said calmly.
“You betrayed us.” The anger in Yugyeoms eyes made you think that it might only be a matter of seconds before Jungkook was shot.
“Yeah, well, you know.” Jungkook shrugged. “You betrayed Bangtan first, so…”
There was a click as the safety was taken off Yugyeoms gun, and Jungkook had his own out in a blur. The two stared at each other for what felt like forever with their guns raised, but you knew it was only a few seconds.
“We were like brothers.” Yugyeom said finally.
“Yeah. We were.” Jungkook sighed. He seemed far less affected than Yugyeom did. “But you gave that up the day you betrayed Namjoon.”
You glanced between the two, feeling oddly like you were intruding on a private conversation.
“How long have you been on their side?” Yugyeom hissed.
Jungkook smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “How long do you think?”
You wondered if you could slip away unnoticed—while you didn’t want to abandon Jungkook, you also didn’t want to be there.
“Hand over the bag and I’ll let the two of you go.” Yugyeom said, waving the gun at you and dashing your hopes of escape.
“There isn’t anything in there on you.” Jungkook said in reference to the backpack. “You can walk away from this. Just put the gun down.”
Yugyeom hesitated. “How am I supposed to believe that?”
“How long have we known each other?” Jungkook asked, and his voice was quieter. “Ten years? And up until now, when have I ever given you a reason not to believe me?”
Yugyeom laughed humorlessly. “Says the triple agent.”
Jungkook shook his head, dead serious. “I betrayed Jaebum. Not you. Never you.” Slowly, he placed his gun on the ground. Yugyeom watched him closely as he did so.
“Hand over the bag.” Yugyeom said again. “I don’t want to shoot you, Jungkook.”
“I know you don’t.” Jungkook said carefully. “So put the gun down and come with us. Namjoon will forgive you.”
You couldn’t read Jungkook very well, it had been clear since the day you met that he had an excellent poker face. It was impossible for you to tell if he was telling the truth to Yugyeom.
To your surprise, Yugyeom lowered his gun. “Go. I won’t tell Jaebum that I saw you, or what I heard.”
Jungkook nodded. “Thank you, Yugyeom.”
The other man just shook his head. “Consider this an old debt paid. Don’t expect anything else from me.” With that he turned and walked away, and you and Jungkook watched him until he was out of eyesight.
“Can you trust him?” You narrowed your eyes at Jungkook.
“He’s never let me down before. And like he said, he owed me a debt.” Jungkook said the last part so quietly you almost missed it.
“You’re a double agent?” You asked after a moment. Jungkook raised an eyebrow at you.
“I thought that was obvious. Double agent…Triple… It gets a bit confusing, but I’m not on Jaebums side.”
“That’s how you got in. And knew where to look for the files.” It all made a lot more sense now. Jungkook began walking further down the ally, and you followed a few steps behind him. “Does anyone else know?” You asked, and Jungkook shoved his hands in his pockets. He walked fast, and you had to jog a little to keep up.
“Only Namjoon. We couldn’t risk word getting back to them. You can probably guess what they’d do to me if they found out.” You could, and it was horrific.
“The note that was in my room…” You started, pieces clicking into place.
“I was following Jaebums orders. Maintaining his trust was vital, especially then.”
“And me getting kidnapped?” You asked, and Jungkook looked genuinely apologetic.
“I didn’t know about that. It was a last-minute idea from what I’ve gathered. I knew… I knew you being involved with Yoongi was dangerous, and that they were watching him. That’s why I tried to warn you.” That must have been why he was so nervous that day at the coffee shop. If someone from either group was to have seen him, he would have had a whole lot of explaining to do. It now made sense as to why Jungkook had been so strange, he had seen all of this coming, at least to some extent.
And he had tried to warn you.
“Thank you, Jungkook.” You said quietly, and he laughed, coming to a halt and facing you.
“Consider it self-preservation. If you got killed and Yoongi found out I could have stopped it, he would never forgive me.” But there was something in his eyes that made you think there was more to it than just that. “Now go.” He tapped your arm lightly before pointing to the building you had stopped near. You weren’t sure how you hadn’t realized that you were in front of the police station, but you apparently were. “Turn them in, that will be thanks enough.”
“You’re not coming in?” You asked, not even having realized how nervous you actually were about the whole thing.
Jungkook shook his head adamantly. “No way, are you kidding me? They all know me way too well. Too many bad memories anyway.” He shivered dramatically, and you were reminded of his young age. Part of you wanted to ask him how many times he had been brought down there for the officers to know him so well, but you guessed that wasn’t something he wanted to share—maybe you would ask some other time.
You took a deep breath, clutching the backpack closer to you. “See you later, Jungkook.” And with that, you marched into the building before you could lose your nerve.
“Do you have someone we can call?” Jay asked. The station had gone berserk when they realized what it was you had just given them—a way to take down an entire gang that had been a nuisance for years. You heard someone say something about a S.W.A.T team, others about bulletproof vests. It was happening, and you had nothing to do but sit.
At first, you shook you head in response to the officer. Who would you call? Your parents were far away, and even if they were close enough to drive, you didn’t want the questions that would accompany them. Then there was Diane, but you already knew what your roommate would say—between scolding you and making inappropriate jokes, you didn’t feel like hearing that either.
“Even a teacher? Someone from your school?” Jay looked concerned as he sat on the bench next to you. You had to stay there in case they had further questions—or incase one of the people you turned in escaped and decided to hunt you down for revenge. Jay was apparently too inexperienced to be let out on the field, so he was stuck there too.
“No I don’t think…” But then you stopped. “There is one person. He’s going to be mad, but I think I should call him.”
You were about to fall asleep in the blanket that Jay had brought you when you heard a scream, and then a crash. You opened your eyes to see that everyone was looking toward the door, where a young man stood looking irritated.
“Quit looking at me like that.” Yoongi huffed, scanning the room. When his eyes landed on you, he sighed, walking over quickly. “Hey kid.” He said, sitting down next to you. “Are you okay?” You hadn’t told him much over the phone, and you felt bad that he looked so worried. You had told him to talk to Jungkook for more details, but you had no idea how much he had been informed.
Before you could answer Yoongi’s question, Jay walked over with his arms crossed. “This is who you called?” He pointed an accusatory finger at Yoongi, who made a face at him.
“Yes?” You said hesitantly.
Jay’s supervisor was close behind him, but she looked much less composed and much more nervous than before. “You can’t be here.” She said, but all the scary edge in her voice was gone. You found yourself wondering what exactly it was that Yoongi had done to disturb them so much, but guessed it wasn’t the best time to ask.
“Why not?” Yoongi raised an unconcerned eyebrow. “As I recall, you’ve never pinned anything on me. I’m innocent, so you can stop looking at me like I robbed a bank.”
“You did rob a bank.” The women snapped, and Yoongi shrugged.
“I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Jay glared at Yoongi for a moment more before turning to you. “If he treats you bad, let me know.”
Yoongi stuck his tongue out at Jay as he turned to go.
“Sorry for dragging you out here.” You said, and Yoongi looked surprised.
“Don’t be. From the little bit that Jungkook told me, I should be apologizing to you. It’s my fault you got into all this mess.” He looked down at his hands.
“I should explain.” You said after another moment.
He nodded, giving you a sideways smirk. “That might be a good idea.”
You gave him an abridged version, leaving out the part where you got hurt, as well as what had happened with Yugyeom. That felt like something that Jungkook should do. You were careful to keep your voice down in case someone was to overhear. Jay was going back and forth between giving Yoongi dirty looks and looking at you concerned. It was sweet of him to care, you thought, but you wished he didn’t hate Yoongi so much—then again, you had no idea if Yoongi had actually done something to deserve the glares from across the room.
Yoongi listened in relative silence as you spoke, occasionally nodding or humming to show that he was still paying attention. Once you were done, a slow smile spread across his face. It wasn’t the reaction you were expecting, and you shifted slightly in your seat. You were expecting anger, worry, or at least mild irritation—not amusement.
“So you ran into Jungkook and came straight here, but he didn’t stay with you?” You shook your head and Yoongi snorted. “Not surprising. He’s been dragged here kicking and screaming a few times, he might be embarrassed.” He then looked at you, and you wished he was an easier person to read.
“What?” You said, trying (and failing) to keep the nervousness out of your voice.
“Nothing it’s just…This is why I like you so much.” He smiled at you. “Are you not scared of anything?”
“Of course I am.” You said, slightly taken aback. “I just don’t let it stop me.”
He snorted, then caught Jay looking over at the two of you and glared back at him.
“He’s not so bad.” You said, nudging him.
“He’s a cop.” Yoongi said, looking mildly horrified. “Also, I think he likes you.” He pouted slightly, folding his arms.
You bit your lip trying not to smile. “Are you jealous?”
“No. Maybe.” Yoongi stared at the opposite wall, and you nudged him again with your elbow.
“Well don’t be. He’s nice, but I don’t want to date him.”
Yoongi looked at you sideways, giving you a look you couldn’t decipher. “You know it’d be a lot easier to date him.” He pointed out quietly.
“For you to date Jay?” You asked jokingly, knowing perfectly well what he meant.
“What? No. Why would I ever date a cop?” Yoongi balked. “I meant, it would be easier for you to date a normal person.”
You shrugged. “So? What’s easy isn’t always the best option.”
Yoongi rolled his eyes, but he uncrossed his arms. “Even if they arrest Jaebum, that won’t be the end of me being involved in a mafia. It won’t change my family or my past. You might be in danger as long as you know me.”
“You’re being over dramatic.” You sighed. “But even if that was the case, I’m okay with taking the chance.” You reached over and slipped your hand into his, your fingers interlacing with his instinctively.
A small smile was back on Yoongi’s face, and you found yourself returning it. “Do you want to leave?” The question took you slightly by surprise.
“They said not to. In case they have questions or something…” Yoongi shook his head.
“They say that crap, but they can’t keep you here. It’s late, do you want to leave?”
You nodded after a seconds thought, and Yoongi stood. “Good, this place gives me the creeps.” As the two of you started walking toward the door, Jay’s supervisor called after you.
“Don’t come back.” She said from the safety of sitting behind her desk.
“I don’t plan to.” Yoongi said dryly, holding his free hand up as a sort of wave.
“Did you drive?” You asked, and Yoongi nodded looking slightly suspicious.
“Yeah, why?”
“In your mini-cooper?” You couldn’t help the teasing tone of your voice.
“No.” Yoongi sighed, digging his keys out of his pocket. “On my magic carpet. Why are you laughing? What is it you have against mini-coopers?”

A/N Wow it’s over!! Kind of! I still have a request from Yoongi’s POV that I’m going to write, and I’m thinking about doing an epilogue at some point. If you have any questions, please ask them, and if you have a request from the same universe (whether it’s something that wasn’t included in the main story or happens before or after) please feel free to request (it doesn’t even really need to be about the two main characters)! 
Thank you all so much for sticking with me through this whole thing. I wasn’t going to update today, but then I thought that because it’s Yoongi’s birthday it seemed fitting. 
As always, let me know your thoughts/feelings! Was it a crap ending? Probably. Did I need to include the Yugyeom/Jungkook bromance? Nope, but I’ve been planning it since I decided to write the second part to this, haha (there was actually a lot more to it that I cut bc it wasn’t really relevant). Also it was really funny to see people freak out after the last part… I told you Reader had a plan haha. ;)

I was tagged for this by the lovely @gingersnarls!   This is actually the first little personal info tag thing that I’ve ever been sent.  I get a tumblr achievement for this, right?  Anyway, as you’re about to see for yourself, I am WAAAAY too wordy with things like this online and find it hard to restrict myself to simple, single answers.  This balances out because I am the opposite of that in real, face to face life.
1:COUNTRIES I’VE LIVED IN : Sadly, only the US.  That’s probably not going to change.
2:FAVE FANDOM : The Ghost fandom is what lured me into the reaches of tumblr’s claws.  I have no regrets.  I like the Bowie fandom as well, but it’s so insanely massive that it’s harder to wrap my head around or keep up with.
3:LANGUAGES YOU SPEAK : English.  Does ASL count?  I know and can sign and understand a little bit of that.  Sometimes a random Spanish word surfaces in my brain from the three years of classes that I took, but apparently did not retain in any effective way both in and after high school.
4:FAVORITE FILM OF 2016 : Hmmmm....I think my FAVORITE film of 2016 was probably ‘I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House’, which was directed by Osgood Perkins (son of Anthony Perkins!).  I think it played at a festival or two, but then was released directly onto Netflix in October.  It seems to be a bit divisive among people who have watched it.  Which I get - it’s quiet and dark and slow - and some people are not into that kind of horror, which is fine.  But I love that kind of creepy.  It’s also very literary and feels more like a focused glimpse into a never ending cycle than like a fully contained story, which I also like.  So basically, if you watch it and think it’s boring, I apologize.
I also loved The Witch.  Honorable mention to that.

8:ANY PHOBIAS OR FEARS : This list is a little long and basically ridiculous, but I’ll pare it down to: “when the power goes out suddenly”, “being in natural bodies of water that I can’t see through (like lakes, mostly), but also just the thought of really, really, really deep, dark water” and “disappointing anyone I know in any way”.  Life is fun.
9:HOW WOULD YOUR FRIENDS DESCRIBE YOU : I actually expend a lot of mental effort trying to convince myself that nobody talks about or even thinks about me when I’m not directly in front of them.  Hopefully, if they do, they just say that I’m nice.  I would also accept “punctual”.
10:HOW WOULD YOUR ENEMIES DESCRIBE YOU : I don’t THINK I have many enemies?  I mean, I’m not everybody’s best friend or anything, but enemy may be too strong a word.  I do know that people who don’t know me very well think I can be cold or stuck up, but I’m actually just really shy.  As for the few people that I genuinely don’t like, they know that I NEVER FORGET ANYTHING.
11:WHO WOULD YOU TAKE A BULLET FOR : My darling husband, our children and my cat.

Hi, my name’s Arman.In 2014, I dropped out of university to start a startup with a high school friend (go figure). In the following two years I had my first taste of the startup world, taught hundreds of people in the UK how to code, made some money, and eventually lost it all in the end along with my (then) best friend, Bob*.Two years later, I summed up the courage to present at FuckUp Nights in Chiang Mai, an event where people publicly share their biggest failures.I wanted my presentation to focus on my FuckUps, not Bob’s. But this article is about Bob and why if you see a “Bob type,” you should avoid going into business with him/her at all costs.After the FuckUp Nights presentation, I decided it was time to move on, I was relieved to have finally publicly shared my story and I went back to focussing on my ongoing ventures.Until recently.A few days ago, I received an unexpected email from someone who had started working with Bob. Let’s call this person, Sally*Sally wrote to me explaining that she was about to enter into a big work commitment with Bob but had her concerns. After Bob failed to provide any professional references, she decided to do her own research into his past business ventures and came across my FuckUp nights presentation.Watching the video, Sally drew parallels between both of our experiences working with Bob and decided to reach out to me and ask if I could share more details about the situation.Thanks to her consent, I’m able to share her story and parts of her emails here but have kept her identity anonymous.[see screenshot email on Medium here]When I read her email, I was surprised to say the least. Quickly, suspicion took over me. I thought it was a hoax. Maybe it was Bob just trying to mess with me. Or maybe he had put someone else up to it. Eventually, I replied:[see screenshot email on Medium here]At the time of replying, I still wasn’t sure wether Sally was real or not, but I felt it was worth replying something — especially if it could prevent someone else from losing time and money to the hands of Bob.In the days that followed, Sally and I exchanged over 20 emails, detailing more about both of our experiences with Bob. She was also able to get in contact with several other business partners of Bob, some that I had known, others that I didn’t but all of them with the same story — cheated out of their time and money.By now it was clear to Sally to cut her loses and discontinue working with Bob. Luckily, she didn’t lose too much to him, but others, myself included, have lost a lot more.These events are what sparked me to write this article on Bob and all the Bob’s around the world.This is for the first time entrepreneurs, the inexperienced investors and the unknowing interns who may cross paths with a Bob in their life. I can’t stop the Bob types around the world from harming the people they do, but I can make people more aware of their traits.*11 signs that you’re dealing with a Bob TypeMissed/delayed deadlines: Missing deadlines happen, but if the person you’re working with refuses to provide updates and constantly delivers work late or not at all, you may have a Bob on your hands.Constant excuses: Building from point one, every missed deadline comes with an excuse, eventually they grow more obscure over time.Sell big dreams: Bob’s use promises and dreams as a way to lure people in. They target your aspirations — like to own your own business, do something creative, be location independent, etc, and then offer you all of it and more. As the saying goes, if it’s too good to be true, it probably isAvoiding questions/details: Bob’s never give it to you straight. There’s always a twist or a turn, a detail missing, a question you’ve asked is flipped and returned back to you. At the end of the discussion, you’ve probably forgotten your question all together.Lack of trust with you and other employees: This could be withholding information, not promoting employees, no transparency with finances, retaining access to company accounts, etc. Everything to retain majority power in the company.Focuses more time on their image than their work: Bobs rely on their reputation to spread and prefer to spend time networking rather than working. They feel that actual leg work is below them and they choose to outsource this part of the equation. Instead, you can find them busy maintaining their jet-set entrepreneur lifestyle over social media.Overly impressive LinkedIn, Website: Bob’s tend to label themselves as “serial entrepreneurs” or “CEOs.” They may have a website or LinkedIn that compares to the likes of a young Elon Musk. If you do your research into their past ventures you’ll probably find they’re not what they seem.Putting down others around you: Bob’s will often pick apart the careers and life choices of the people around you, this serves to feed their own ego and discredit those with opposing views.Leaving little to no trace of conversations: Bob’s are aware that everything they write online leaves a digital footprint which could then hold them accountable in the future. Watch for people who tend to avoid writing on email or in permanent form — instead opting for calls, in person meetings or apps like Telegram.Taking spontaneous trips around the world without notice: Okay, this is probably unique to my Bob.Surround themselves with vulnerable/less experienced people: I’d like to bring special attention to point 11. This is something that I was oblivious to until recently through the exchanges I had with Sally.Bob’s tend to approach people who are unhappy with what they’re doing. These people might be tired of their studies/work/life, looking for a change of pace, a fresh start, in need of work experience or sometimes, just a roof over their head.Bob’s will then be so kind as to bestow incredible opportunities on those less fortunate, leaving them eternally indebted to his/her generosity. Debt, that they can use as leverage in the future.Beware: Bobs are toxic, manipulative and controlling. But they’re also intelligent, charming and appear trustworthy.This is what makes Bob’s all the more dangerous, they’re not what you’d expect. They’re masterful crafters, intelligent individuals and expert charmers — they are con artists.7 tips to avoid getting harmed by BobDon’t be naive, act fast. If by now you’ve got the feeling that you might be working with a Bob type, you probably are. Act now before it spreads.Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself. If you have concerns, confront Bob, ask the tough questions and demand answers.Sign on the dotted line. No matter who it is you think you’re working with, get the paper work and legislatives done first. It might seem boring, but if that person turns out to be a Bob, it will save you a headache (and a fortune) later.Avoid falling into Bobs debt. Bob might offer you something like an initial salary, a laptop, a flight ticket, a bed, or something similar. The price? Your loyalty, and your life. At all costs, do not accept.Ask for references from people they’ve worked with. Start by asking for introductions from people they’ve worked with in the past. If they come back empty handed, take the initiative to find and reach out for yourself.Don’t believe everything they say or show. We’re all guilty of highlighting only our best features and that’s more the reason to take everything Bob says with a grain of salt. If you have your doubts about something, do your own independent research.Don’t work with Bob. The best way to avoid getting affected by Bob, is to avoid the Bob type. Deciding on the person you work with is a huge decision, don’t mess it up. Before committing to work with them, fully understand who you’re working with,Some Bob’s may be assholes, others, may just be unaware they’re assholes. I don’t know whether my Bob was ill-intentioned in his actions or not. In fact, I still don’t believe he fully understands the consequences his actions have had on me and the others he’s worked with.It took me too long to write and publish this article on Bob and the Bob types. I finally got around to it because I believe too many people have been hurt and cheated in the path of them and if we don’t call them out, more people will continue to be hurt.I hope Bob reads this. Actually, I’m certain Bob is reading this right now. If there’s anything I could say to you, Bob, it’s: Stop being an asshole. Go and right the wrongs you’ve done. Pay back the people you owe. Stop taking other peoples money. Learn from your mistakes.*The characters in this article are true and represented to the best of my knowledge.
