lost and found - ezra bridger

Request: nope Pairing: ezra bridger x jedi!reader Summary: along with the remainder of the ghost crew and ahsoka, you're trying to find ezra Warnings: HEAVY SPOILERS FOR AHSOKA S1!!! im warning u dont read this if u havent seen all of it yet Word count: 1.1K A/N: I survived the war (im posting fics again) but at what cost (brainrot has taken over)

your music is blaring through the speakers of your ship as you're working. though your ship isn't in need of any repairs, you're always finding new modifications and additions to upgrade it. at this rate, it's unrecognisable as the ship you once got from a sketchy dealer on an outer rim planet.

working on your ship is also a way to distract yourself. when you're focused on working with your hands, your mind doesn't wander off.

it doesn't wander off to hera and jacen aboard the ghost. it doesn't wander off to sabine and ahsoka on her T-6 shuttle. but mostly, it doesn't wander off to ezra. you try not to think about the fact hera is on an unauthorised mission, that you haven't heard from sabine and ahsoka in a while which is unlike them, and that you feel like you're not even a little bit closer to finding ezra.

even though you haven't seen him for years, you refuse to believe he's gone. you tell yourself you would simply know if he didn't make it. before you lost him, the two of you shared a strong bond in the force. you figured if something had happened to him, you would have felt it.

but after all of these years, it's hard to hold on to hope. you really want to. but at some point logic has to take over.

though recently, hope has sparked in you yet again. with the map ahsoka found, the chances of finding ezra have increased. you are optimistic again.

but the search hasn't been without danger. even now, you're worried.

which is why you're working on your ship. otherwise you'd just pace around or stare off into the distance with your mind running around in circles getting lost in the "what ifs".

a faint beeping sounds pulls you out of your thoughts. you get up from your position underneath one of the main consoles and get your comm.

'general syndulla for commander y/l/n.' comes hera's voice.

'go for commander y/l/n.' you say.

'hey y/n, where are you right now?'

'just working on my ship in the main hangar back on base.'

'new modifications again?'

'yeah, yeah, I know. "a good ship doesn't need modifications." well, I like them. the ghost could use some upgrades as well, you know.'

'no thank you, my ship is perfectly fine.'

you chuckle as you wipe your hands on your pants.

'have you heard from sabine and ahsoka yet?' you say. 'and when are you coming home from this unauthorised mission?'

'sabine and ahsoka are alright, we're actually on our way now. and we have some news regarding ezra.' says hera.

'you have news on ezra?' you say, unable to hide the relief in your voice. 'do you know how to find him? or where he is? is he okay?'

'we'll talk about it in person. we should be arriving soon.' says hera.

'I'll wait for you.'

'see you soon.'

hera disconnects her comm, leaving you alone with the music again. your mind is racing. they have news on ezra. you knew it, he's still out there somewhere. you're sure of it.

you quickly put the panel of the main console back and tidy up your tools. just as you pause your music and exit your ship, you see the ghost and ahsoka's T-6 shuttle getting closer to the hangar.

you anxiously await them, watching as they carefully land. the shuttle door opens and sabine and ahsoka come out of it.

sabine smiles as you half walk, half run up to them and pull them both into a hug.

'I'm so glad you guys are safe.' you say. 'it scared the shit out of me when I couldn't contact you.'

'we're alright.' says ahsoka, patting you on the back.

you pull back to look at them. they both look tired, but other than that they seem fine. sabine has a twinkle in her eyes and smile on her face.

'what is it?' you say. 'do you know something about ezra?'

'yeah.' says sabine. 'but hera should tell you.'

she points to the ghost, where hera has just exited the ship. jacen follows her, but is looking over his shoulder and talking to someone. at first, you assume it's merely chopper.

but as they walk further down, you see it's not chopper at all. it's a young man. he's wearing colourful robes and has a beard and curly hair.

it doesn't matter he's older than he is in your memories. it doesn't matter he still has the same eyes and the same scar on his cheek. it doesn't matter something in the force tugs on you so strongly, as if it has found its home.

none of it matters, because you would know him anywhere, in any universe, no matter who you are.

ezra. your ezra. talking with jacen as if nothing had ever happened. he's here, he's alive.

a sob escapes your mouth as you take off.

'ezra!' you yell.

you don't even bother to hide the tears as they stream down your cheeks. after all this time, he's finally here.

for a brief second you see his smile before you crash into him. you wrap your arms around his neck and bury your face in his neck, holding him impossibly close. you're never going to let him go.

words fail you as you just cry into his shoulder.

you feel ezra's arms around your back and get lost in the feeling. it's all so painfully familiar, as if no time had passed at all. yet you know everything has happened since the last time you saw him.

you slightly pull away to look at him.

ezra is smiling at you just like he did all those years ago. though he's older, he's still the same. still the same kid you met on the streets of lothal.

you reach out and brush a finger over the scar on his cheek.

'you're here.' you say breathlessly.

'I am.' he says.

you'd heard his voice in your dreams and memories and the recording sabine still has. but this is different. it means everything and more to you.

'you're as beautiful as the day I lost you.' you whisper.

'I dreamed of this day.' says ezra. 'thought about all the things I would say to you. it all seemed so simple. but now? I have no idea. nothing seems like the right thing to say.'

'but it is simple.' you say. 'I love you.'

ezra smiles even brighter. 'I love you too.' he says. 'I always knew I would see you again. we have a lot of catching up to do.'

you smile as ezra leans in and kisses your forehead. you'd finally found each other again.

A/n:sorry for delaying this fic for so long i have been feeling a little bit under the weather and now that im kinda better im able to upload again.idk how good the story is if there are any mistakes plz let me know

Warnings:none,sfw,angst/hurt to comfort?,scaramouche being scaramouche,scara calling you a useless worm

A/n:you and scaramouche are lost on your way to sumeru city,scara and you got into an arguement bc of it but this time it has an unexpected ending

"I think we have to go left???''

you said pointing to the map trying to figure out what was the correct way only to be met with a sign from scaramouche.you and scaramouche have been walking around for hours trying to reach sumeru city but only ending up going in circles

he was looking away from you with his arms crossed even though he wasnt looking directly at you you could feel his eyes like daggers at the back of your head

''or right?'' you said

With that he snaps walking aggresively towards you and grabbing the map out of your hands,making you jumpa bit from the sudden action

''give me this thing,or else we will stay here for an eternity,you clearly dont know how to do onething correctly,you useless worm''

though you are used to his mean words since you knew scaramouche can be very moody at times sometimes they didnt fail to hurt you deeply even if you didnt want to admit it.Ever since you met him,you had a difficult time getting along,his arrogant didnt make it easier either constantly looking down on you

you didnt say anything back not wanting to start a fight that you knew it will lead to nothing at the end

''we have to take a left then go straight and finally we are going to reach sumeru city''

you only nodded as a response and followed behind him

the silence between you growing louder and louder

you started to question why did you chose him as to be your travel buddy? was it his looks or that you secretly liked his rude attitude?

every time you talked to him you couldnt help but stare at his indigo eyes,occasionally you could see him blushing but given that he would always turn his gaze away from yours you couldnt put your finger on it if it was true

lost in your thoughts following behind scaramouche, sumeru city could be seen in the distance finally both of you would be able to take some rest from this long journey

breaking the akward silence between you scaramouche says

''if it wasnt for me,we would still be going in circles,you are a burden to my journey''

that was it you have had enough of his arrogant attitude.

''if im such a burden to your journey why dont you leave''

tears of anger threatening to leave from your eyes,the lack of sleep trying to reach the city has had a tall on you and scaramouche's attitude didnt make it any better.though its true you didnt know why he sticked with you if he didnt like you and thought you were a burden.

scaramouche turned around and looked at you after what you said,his frowned brows and hostile glare made it obvious that he was angry.

Great another one of your usual fights is about to begin you thought to yourself,but what you didnt expect was the sudden change of scaramouche's expression after he saw the tears still threatening to escape at the corner of your eyes,his expression now calm and relaxed unlike his previous one

you expected him to insult you like he would always do but this time was different,his response left you speechless.

Hello mighty mizora! Big fan here of your work the way you write is so mesmerizing honestly im always in awe!! I have a small question i hope its not annoying i've asked this question to another writer who i liked once but they were so mean to me back so i understand that maybe its not the best question to be asked but i have ADHD and i need alittle direction so i hope maybe you can give me some (its totally okay if you dont want to ! ) Do you have any pointers to someone who has never wrote anything past school essays and to do lists if they want to start writing fanfiction and have it be nice and expressive? I have so many ideas i write them down write 5 sentences thats like a summray maybe a few sentences of some scenes of romance sorta like a small outline it feels so dry... And i dont know what to do past that... Essays had structures and preferred starting intros and all that but i feel lost when i try and start a story, i know myself and i know once i start i will not shut up but starting feels like a wall and i dont know how to climb yk ?

Firstly thank you so much and also I'm sorry you had a bad experience with another writer. You've asked this so nicely. And apologies for this being delayed I thought I had clicked post but I'd saved the draft again!

So I'm not going to claim to be an expert in this but the way I approach this is:

I start with what I want to say with a piece. What do I want to explore? What do I hope the reader will take away from it? I then jot those down for myself at the top of the document, just like you describe with your summary! If this changes as I discover things that's okay, but it's kind of my road map.

I usually also start in the middle of some action, or with a line of dialogue. Honestly you don't have to do this at all but the joy of fanfiction is you don't have to do loads of exposition! People know who the characters are and you can dive into things! It means you get stuck right in which I personally like.

I also don't write chronologically! I think we can get so stuck on things. I think of writing a story like pruning a garden, so I might write some "holding sentences" per scene and then work on scenes as they come to me. It's a good way to build up the bits as you are inspired. You can see this really clearly in a piece like Blood and Bone which is very sparse, some of the holding sentences in that fic are still in there.

When it comes to dialogue, I use the actioning method used in acting and I work out what people want to do by saying something. I like when characters don't say things outright, but say a hundred words by what they don't say. A character can say I love you, and it's good, but what if they say I don't want you to leave? What is left in the gaps?

When it comes to description I think I have a long way to go honestly but again. What are people seeing, smelling, tasting, seeing touching? What is their primary sense? Does it evoke anything else for them, or are they entirely in the moment? This can vary from character to character.

Another thing to think of is variant rhythm. Once you have a first draft down, go over it again and look at sentence structure. Can you add variation by changing the length of sentences? Can you tell a story in the rhythms you use? I'm a big fan of long run on sentences in romance showing a character losing control, for example.

And the big secret honestly is... you might well find your writing a bit dry! I find mine dry! I look at it squinting, asking whether the sex is sexy or if it's just way too out there or just completely misses the mark. We only really know when other eyes get to see it.

I took inspiration for Lopu's character and story from the mahou shoujo genre, with the core elements being that a seemingly-average girl discovers she actually has the capability for magical powers, and uses those to help spread hope and save others. Love is a major theme for Lopu, and its what gives her the strength and motivation to do what she does. Lopu grew up in Gridania, where she left and became the Warrior of Light at age 25. She's always had a deep feeling of wanderlust within her, and the events of the MSQ are what kickstart her into being able to get out and see the world. She's lived her life knowing there had to eventually be more out there for her, and her assumptions are proven right as she takes up the title of the WoL and makes herself known. She's no doubt had her ups and downs, but never once has she regret her journey. Others may call her a hero; but even after all this time she still considers herself just an adventurer that likes to help people. In her free time, Lopu has a few hobbies she likes to indulge in! She's very big on cooking and sharing the food she makes, gardening and growing her own ingredients, hunting, training, running Treasure Maps, and of course hanging out with the Scions. Outside of saving the universe, she's a very sweet and humble woman.

i think kjelle flies under the radar a lot because she comes off as just one of those character who just trains all the time and like. im not gonna say thats wrong exactly? she can be annoying to read sometimes, thats true. but i dont know, i personally really like how they took her character. obviously, im biased, awakening second gen is my favorite cast in fire emblem and shes included in that, but the obvious backstory of coming from a ruined timeline already does a lot to elevate her higher up for me if you just. consider her thinking from that perspective. but i also really like her “strong vs weak” mentality she has going on. i dont agree with it, but i like that she has it. obviously shes lost a lot, so wanting to put up a strong front and act like she doesnt need anyone weaker than her as a way to protect herself from losing more is a really fun way to take a character from a backstory like that, and its fun to see how that manifests in her supports with the others. she spends a lot of time looking down on them, which can admittedly be boring to read, but if you dig into her a bit more, is it really because she thinks theyre pathetic? or does she want to cling onto what strength she has and push them away so they dont have to? does she really think theyre weak? or is she jealous of their strength to indulge in frivolity while they have it while shes too scared to do so?

also shes pretty and im not immune to women who could beat the shit out of me

NYX…. NYX FIRE EMBLEM… GIRLLL IM GONNA GET YOU OUT OF THAT STUPID DARK MAGE OUTFIT! nyx is honestly one of fates’s best characters, and honestly probably one of fire emblems best characters, but people wont give her a chance because 1) her outfit sucks which is honestly a valid reason considering her gimmick and 2) shes a fates character. a much less valid reason. but its like!! guys please i SWEAR shes not the same as the other characters with the stupid “im older than i look” trope please please please im on my KNEES right now please please please please please please please PLEASE. anyways if nyx has 1000 fans im one of them if nyx as 1 fan i am that fan if nyx has no fans im DEAD and BURIED, probably still hyping her up from the grave.

you know worldbuilding is not something i really praise fire emblem for. but i think i’d pick ylisse/whatever world awakening is set (is it still called archanea?? i dont know) just because it feels really homey i think. not biased btw

3 Concepts and a Dare

1. I was dared to quote a line/paragraph/fragment from my own writing that I love, bonus points if I can say why I love it.

“So.. what’re your thoughts on the weather?”

He purposely uses the icebreaker and hopes against all odds she’d understand his humor and ridiculous attempt to fill the air between them and the hot tub jets.

Anetra knows it works in his favor as soon as he spots the smile forming on her lips paired with the shake of her head.

“You’re dumb.”

I was rereading tripping, falling, with no safety net and smiling at it.. I loved how I captured the awkwardness and overthinking going on in Anetra's head! Not wanting to sit too far away but also would sitting too close to Sasha be weird? when they met not so long ago? Portraying the crush and admiration they have for one another, Sasha providing comfort when he's doubting his place in the competition. It was sweet and I've been thinking about cc sashnetra a lot recently since I've been rewatching season 15. I know what happens, I have their whole love story mapped out tbh. I just suck at sitting down and writing

costume designer/seamstress neech x performer sasha and/or miri.. idk! just knowing that anetra makes a lot of her looks irl, so picturing neech as someone whose lost inspiration/motivation to create and design but then finding a muse in sasha and/or miri

sorry for my long ramble in advance.

is it normal to feel like I should have been in a completely different time period? I honestly wouldve enjoyed a screenless internet free society much more imho. all social media does is make me feel so behind in my life bc im nothing like the people on their platforms or accounts. I would give my current life up if it meant I could go back into some other era or generation.

Heck my great aunt was born in the war, shes still alive even to this day and doesnt require the internet. if she can exist all these years without it then I should be able too as well. But society seems to insist that we need x amount of devices screens in every room, phones out all over the place. I find that so overwhelming and mentally draining. I know some of us could be old souls but I literally often feel much older than my real age.

The annoying thing is I have certain obsessions with certain things from the past that I keep feelkng sad about never experiencing for myself like the 50s for example, the music, or the fact that I could have done something much cooler with my life if I had been in the 40s when I could have and would have done codebreaking during the war. I feel like in the past they had more real achievements than what is on our screens if that makes sense?

It doesnt surprise me when videos gain more than a few million views anymore. its just boring with a capital B and the fact that I would be expected to care about all these latest internet trends and platforms. yes ik im a hypcorite bc i use them too so i dont die of sheer boredom from both my own generation and modern day society. its just got so boring like theres nothing truly new anymore. music for example is absolutely going downhill maybe some of its good but a lot of its meh like it doesnt speak to my soul enough for me to care again same for tiktok dance challenges. i just dont care anymoreeeeeeeeeeeeeee. I could if we didnt need internet every single day live happily without it but sadly society insists we need the internet and platforms for every day tasks that my useless brain used to be able to do.

its the way these screens have replaced things i used to like doing, like learning and memorising or writing instead of typing. ionce got a bollocking off a tutor for not typing my notes up so she could read it properly albiet she was dyslexic but everyone else in the class could read my writing just fine in my sketchbooks. so i gave up on that just like i do with most things bc modern society seem to like to take the fun out of so much and replace it with petty immature drama online or showing off xyz thing and so on. i basically dont even know where id fit into all this nonsense either. im literally just trying to find something worthwhile that i enjoy out of all the "entertainment" that we have too much of on our dinky little screens. and i always end upneither feeling fomo or have an existensial crisis that i will never ever get to experience the freedom we had when we were kids long before we were all subjected to computers and screens in our teen years ever since then i swear it just keeps making me feel worse otherwise i wouldve done better without any of this shit, i dont even want a phone anyway.

if i need to get anywhere i would rather use a goddamn physical map than ever use google maps again.

theres things that could catch my attention but my attention span so short I likely wouldnt care that deeply for it yaknow? supposedly my fs is a footballer according to someone else on here but again i dont particularly care about finding tnem like part of me is torn between wanting to stick it out and know them but my other part is ehh i just dont care anymore.

TIME FOR DOIP! it's been a few months so: welcome to dragon of icespire peak, the d&d campaign jorb is running with me, nyx v4shthestampede, and green bahamutgreen! starring the bullheaded dragonborn fighter Alidaar, the nameless halfling druid that's usually a binturong, and the new arrival (and walking disaster of a lizardfolk) hoping for treasure, Kepesk! together we're gonna fight a really angry dragon, but first there's a lot of problems in the world we need to tackle before we have any hope or surviving.

back to falcon's house! nameless brought back one of the boars for dinner :D nameless is having a normal experience with reality. what the fuck is happening. Kepesk And Alidaar Get One Boot Each targor is leaving! kepesk: aw, targor, but you're so based! nyx: don't speak those witch's words at him. I FORGOT KEPESK'S PRE-CAMPAIGN GROUP - IM GOING TO KILL JORB .RIGHT NOW kepesk's previous group was expies of the chaotix. targor was planned from the getgo to be mighty the armadillo. WAIT THE WILDERS ARE THE ONES THAT KILLED HIS PEOPLE. WE HAVE GASLIT HIM UNTIL THE VERY END green: i feel so bad, but yknow.. extenuating circumstances.. jorb: why does it keep spawning more namelesses? nyx: i shape back into binturong form. which hopefully there is only one of. so picture this. the game starts, we both get a few turns in, setting up a bit. i have a flaffy on the field when the dude switches out for a charizard vmax. it has 3 energies already

BUT, little does this guy know, my flaffy's attack causes a guaranteed confusion. i confuse stall him long enough to get a cinccino and a lugia vstar out on my bench

a few failed coin flips go by. i have an ampharos in my hand when the game glitches out and totally skips my turn. confusion wears off on my opponent's next turn. flaffly gets eviscerated. i bring out the cinccino

this card is only useful as a bench warmer. im sending it out like a sacrifcial lamb, knowing full well it wont survive the night. i just cant risk my lugia vstar going out yet when its not set up. i kiss my chinchilla good night and sacrifice a card to use its ability. i draw a mareep. the ampharos is still in my hand

my chinccino does the wimpiest attack of all time before dying pathetically. the lugia vstar gets set to active

it has no energies still because i used cinccino's attack effect on the mareep for some fucking reason. im convinced this is the end. the opponent is down to 4 prize cards and im still at 6. theyre set up and im not. if lugia goes down they get 3 prize cards. theres no hope in sight

i use lugia's ability and guess whos back baby? its cinccino, along with the minccino it evolved from, back on the bench where they belong. i use cinccino's ability and low and behold i draw a flaffy and immediately evolve. again, the ampharos is still in my hand

on my opponent's next turn, im already convinced ive lost. they finally have enough energy to use their g-max move and wipe me off the map. im already writing my will.

but, miraculously, they dont. i can only assume they glitched out like i did because this app was made by a team of wild baboons. regardless, this is where the turn tables

i evolve my ampharos

this guy has been the hero of my deck for years now. my entire strategy hinges on whether or not this guy is on the field. he usually gets paired with my raikou that gets a +90 attack buff when ampharos's ability is used. but today, his partner is not raikou. today he forms a blood pact with my lugia

ampharos's ability causes paralysis when 2 electric energies are sacrificed to the lost zone. there's currently 6 energies in my hand. i place an energy on lugia and use the ability

for a total of 6 of the longest turns of my life this continues. i paralyze their charizard and set up my lugia, all the while using cinccino's ability and trainer cards to supplement my energy supply. at some point i even get a second cinccino on the field. adrenaline is pumping through my veins

my opponent is getting desperate. i can feel it. their charizard has 9 energies on it. if i slip up once im dead

then finally, im set up. after 2 rounds of tempest dive, i destroy charizard vmax. the cold war has ended and ive come out on top. the game has gone from 4–6 to 4–3 with one knockout. my opponent takes too long to move next turn and concedes

i guess in regards to gameplay it's not that different than lava - more forgiving, even! lava kills you instantly and sometimes you can fight your way out of a bog! - but it FEELS worse. it's uglier for one thing

i'm really close to the lost woods so i'm gonna see if i can navigate it without a torch! since i can see the wind blowing. i have so many korok seeds to trade in lol

took me one false start but i made it! i just had to walk veeery slowly lol

i used to feel so nervous being this close to hyrule castle in botw...the hills between it and the lost woods...it's not as bad in totk although i am still hugging the water. i don't want the music to play lol

fucking korok seed i was supposed to get by starting a fire and using a pinecone to go straight up. it was raining. i had to make the most convoluted structure out of dead trees it took FOREVERRR
