- this case is made up

- it happens around the.. 6th season, i think? so the team is Hotch, dave, Morgan, Prentiss, JJ and reid

- it will end up being Reidxreader kinda

The doorbell rang. Layla fixed her robe and went to the door. Her eyes were red and puffy, as she was crying for a while now. A few days ago, the body of her fiance, James, was found. They covered most of him, she only saw his face to confirm it is him. She opened the door and looked to the right, and then to the left, but no one was there. Finally, she looked down and there she found a package. She picked it up and laid it on the desk next to her phone. The senders address on the package was one she didn't recognize, and her stomach ached in anxiety and fear. What if she's next?

She grabbed her coat from the hanger near the entrance, looking for a card In every single pocket, and when she finally found it she dialed the number on it with shaking hands. She paced in her living room as she was waiting for officer Williams. He told her to call if anything comes to mind, someone who'd seek vengeance on James, or if anything suspicious would happen.

A knock on the door. “Miss Garrison, it is Officer Williams” a vaguely familiar voice called from the other side of the door, and so she opened it. She shaked the officer's hand and allowed him to step inside. Layla was stressed before, but something about the officers demeanor made her even more anxious to open the package. “Do you want any… coffee, tea, or… just water, I have some cookies as well” Layla started rumbling, trying to be a good host as she was taught to be, even tho she is hosting under horrific terms. “Maybe some tea, yeah, I'll open the package while you do that” The officer said, sad smile on his face.

He pulled a pair of gloves from his pocket and put them on as Layle went to the kitchen. It felt so lonely in the apartment since James’s death, and she was somewhat happy to have company. She filled the kettle up with water to boil. Her eyes traveled between closets, trying to remember which one was the one with the tea cups, and where the hell did she put the tea itself. It was all a blur, James was the organized one. Eventually she found what she looked for and placed two mugs on the counter. She had two types of tea. “officer Williams, do you prefer green tea or berrys one?” she called out, and when the answer was bearly heard, she went to the living room.

“I'm so sorry, I can't hear-” she started, but her eyes stuck on the officers horrified face. “what is it?” she asked, ��officer, what-” she said, coming closer. “stay back” he ordered, “I don't want you to see this. I called forensics, this is evidence”. “Officer, just tell me what this is” Layla said, panic setting in her voice. “Miss Garrison, when we found James's body… his heart was missing. I belive this is… it” the officer said..

….

“Reid, JJ, common, new case. hotch want us all in the conference room” (y\n) calls as they pass by their desks. The rest of the unit is already there when they arrive. “James Dekota, he was engaged to Layla Garrison until he found his unfortunate death. His heart was taken, and a few days later, shipped to Layla’s door” JJ explains as the relevant photos switch behind her. “Same thing happened with Fiona Nordwick who was engaged to Daniel Clark, and Sean williams who was engaged to Winona Rock” JJ continues. “Okay, so the unsub is targeting a half of an engaged couple, what makes him choose the one over the other?” Emily says, scrunching her eyebrows. “We find that out, and we have our unsub” Dave says. "wheels up in 30" Hotch says, nodding at the team.

"okay, so, taking the heart is… symbolic, but of what?" Prentiss wonderes out loud. "well, Joe smith took his victims hearts and kept them as trophies - but that's not the case here. this unsub is not keeping the hearts" JJ says, "and he is crossing gender and race lines - he kiiled males and females, and Sean williams was black". "his motive must be something about the victims personality than, something about their behavior made him attcack them" Dave says. "well, both the male victims worked in the insurance field" (y\n) says, "williams was an administrator for Nationwide and Dekota was a technichal analist for Omega, maybe this is what connects the victims". (y\n) knew it was along shot, considering Fiona Nordwick wasn't connected to the insurence field, she was a legal secretary. "(y\n) could have a point - we should ask Garcia to check, maybe Fiona Nordwick was a part of a case connected to the insurance field" Hotch says, pulling out his phone to text everyones favorite technical analyst. Reid was awfully quiet, thoughts running throgh his mind.

"whats on your mind, pretty boy?" Morgan asks. "Well, i just keep thinking…what if we are overthinking this, you know? trying to put a complicated meaning to this when it could just be literal, if the unsub attacks people for being engaged… what if taking the hearts is symbolic? hinting they have no heart?" he says, furring his eyebrows as he puts his thoughts into words. "this could be it" Prentiss says. "good thinking Dr. Reid" Hotch says. "we should try and check if any of the victims were being unfaithful" JJ says.

the tablet on the plane was ringing, and soon enough Garcia showed up on the screen. "well, my preeties, it appears that Fiona Nordwick was handeling a case regarding an insurence company not paying up, but i hightly doubt this is the connection, since it was a long time ago and she was in the begining of her carrer, even i had to dig deep to find this".

"well, if that not the connection, what is?" (y\n) said, slightly dissapointed her idea was proven wrong. they were new to the team and they wanted to prove themselves. They knew they'll get the chance, but just wondered when. "the unsub must find his victims somehow, maybe a wedding venue they all checked?" Morgan says, "baby girl, think you can find that out for me?". "oh you bet your fine ass that i can. talk to you later, my pretty crime fighters" Garcia says, and then hungs up.

SORRY THIS TOOK SO DAMN LOOOONG and yes it's called kandy :) also it's they/them pronouns if thats ok, i can change it if you'd like please don't be afraid to reach message me. alex was annoyed and frustrated, he was making kandy bracelets for his S/O, but he didn't know what color they wanted, or what design they would enjoy. alex groaned in frustration, dropping the pink and black bracelet on the carpeted floor. he lays down on the ground, his hands over his eyes as he tries to think about what his S/O would love. sure they would love whatever he made for them, but he needed them to be special. maybe he would just make a bunch of different colors and let them choose? alex smiled, sitting back up and finding the confidence to make more. he made a neon green and black one, pink and black, rainbow, S/O's pride flag colors (idk if you want that i just thought it was cute), black and white, pink purple and black, and neon yellow and black. after all of them were made, alex scheduled a date to meet up with his S/O to give them the kandi.

((time skip to date)) alex drove to ((place of choice)), meeting his S/O there. he wore his favorite outfit, and so did they.

"hey Y/N, how are you?" Y/N smiles, sitting down next to him. "great alex, how about you?" Alex's cheeks got a little red, nodding. they were so kind to him. (not trying to make ur personality inaccurate AAA-)

you smile, taking his hand, your spikes brushing up against his skin. you didn't notice, but he sure as hell did. maybe it wasn't the best time to mention bracelets. you two talked for a while. you guys talked about how you were, what you were doing, whatever couples do. but finally it was time to end the date, but alex had one thing he needed to give to Y/N.

"hey Y/N, before you leave i need to give you something, i-i didn't know what you wanted so i kinda did a lot of them, you can chose but uh." alex stalled for a little while, before you finally got it out of him and he pulled out a little plastic baggy of kandy bracelets of all colors. you thanked him, being sweet to him and expressing your gratitude towards the gift.

tomorrow you two would go to the mall, but alex was not ready for what would happen.

(time skip, yall going places)

alex met you at where you two would meet up, at the food court. he smiled once he saw your face, but when he saw your arms he could feel his face begin to burn up. your arms where covered in the kandy bracelets he made for you yesterday. you smile sweetly at him, ruffling his hair. his reaction was cute, spending the whole day with his hand wrapped around your wrist because he just loved the fact it was on there. he fidgeted with your kandi if he got anxious around people as well.

They are each other's compliments, they are soulmates, they are most comfortable around each other, and they feel like themselves when the other is around. Like... just perfection tbh.

#2 Itadori Yuji and Megumi Fushiguro

I ship them queer platonically/semi-romantically.

But first... THE SATOSUGU PARRALLELS THEY HAVE!!

Second..

Yuji validates Megumi's way of seeing things. Megumi says that he values personality most ('unshakable character') for people he likes, and he canonically likes Itadori's personality and his 'unshakable character'.

They also get to have a calmer version of satosugu moral squabbles. (With Megumi being the one to say that not everyone should be saved, and Itadori trying to save everyone.)

ALSO ITADoRI KNOWING THAT mEGUMI SAVED HIM BECAUSE MEGUMI THINKS THAT ITADORI iS A GOOD PERSON, ONLY FOR ITADORI TO BELIVE HIS ACTIONS (finger eating) HURT OTHERS. (and Megumi's adamant proclamations towards not saving someone who would hurt others in the future... but all the while Megumi is making sure not to tell Itadori because he doesn't want itadori to be sad.)

Also the way Itadori is always giving Fushiguro little compliments, and considers him a friend pretty much immediately.

Also the 'if you die, I'll kill you' 'I guess I can't die then'

Their dynamic is just perfection. PERFECTION I TELL YOU!

#3 Maki Zenin and Nobara Kugisaki

Maki and Nobara feel like they have similar underlying beliefs, values, and personalities. They would definitely hype each other up (especially when Nobara immediately fawns over Maki). Honestly I would love to see more Nobara content in general, and if JJK were a slice of life, it would've been so much fun to have an episode directly devoted to Nobara and Maki.

As it is, they both are self-determined and are selective with who they choose to care about. And as far as anger goes, Nobara seems like someone with a 'wild anger', whereas Maki's anger is more controlled.

Nobara also is sparing in her compliments, doesn't let unessecary emtions get in the way of a mission, is more focused on strategy than the rest of the Tokyo trio, and all she wants is to live her best life. No one's getting in the way of that.

Maki is also going to live her life to the fullest, but in a ~spiteful way~. She doesn't see herself as lesser and will leave relationships behind (see Mai) for the sake of living to her fullest potential.

Basically Maki and Nobara solidarity. They would understand and work well with each other.

#4 Crowley and Aziraphale

I got into a hyperfixation about them (just them, did not have acess to the show so I scoured the internet for clips of them). A lot of my ships have this common theme of 'comfort person'. And... yea.

It's been a bit since I've hyperfixated on them though! I fell out of it a little bit before JJK.

Crowley recognizes the flaws in the system and decided to live in his own human-esque way. This includes Aziraphale. Always.

Aziraphale follows the system and justifies all of his human indulgences with the fundamental goodness of the system. Most comfortable around Crowley.

They are constantly doing little things for each other. THeir own tragic breakup scene was because they wanted to do things for each other. (Aziraphale wanted Crowley to be an angel because he thinks he would be happier. Crowley knows that they would both be happy if they had each other.)

I'm probably missing some things, but yea! They gave me a lot of happy sparkles. (Aziraphale was so excited to hold Crowley's hand it was great)

Again, while I still love rottmnt and it was (and is) my longest running hyperfixation ever... my brain is all JJK right now. So I might have forgotten some things!

For all the love that his brothers give him, none of them give their wholehearted trust to Donnie ("Fixing your fix" and all that jazz). None of them can understand exactly how his brain works - and it's lonely being the only one with a mind that works differently. (Plus it's maddening to not have at least ONE PERSOn that listens to your infodumps... speaking from experience).

The FIRST THING TImothy says to Donnie is "I trust you"

I don't know if anyone has asked you this but what do you think or do you have an opinion about JM and JK choosing the buddy system for their military enlistment. Cause like you I too thought they were not that close during this solo chapter and for them to choose that system to enter is a bit shocking (and never knew there is such a system for Korea Military Service). At first I really thought that the tattoos were the reason but when reading and checking and those other bullshit regarding the military, both of them could easily chose to go alone especially when it was quite a procedure to achieve the buddy system itself and to be done as early as August? Do you think the company was the one pushing both to enter like that?

I didn't know there was such a system either, but frankly I don't know much about the military in general except for the most basic stuff.

No, I don't think the company pushed them to it or anything, they probably don't have that power over their will. They all enlisted at the time they wanted, within the date limitations because they still wanted to be back for 2025; but still, the timing was the members' decision.

One of the first things I said about it was that I wasn't surprised, and that it was probably Jimin's idea. I wasn't surprised because this has always been my opinion on their friendship:

And I believe it was most likely Jimin's idea because that's who Jimin is. He cried during tour in 2018 because he had a room for himself and wasn't sharing with the members anymore.

It didn't change what I thought about them the first half of the year, tho. And it definitely doesn't make me think they're together together romantically.

They weren't seeing each other that often, and to me it just meant that they weren't a couple or like.. they can't live without each other kind of thing, like many people belive. They just didn't see each other that often because why would they, they're just friends and you don't see your friends everyday no matter how much you love them. It was pretty clear too that Jungkook wasn't seeing Hoseok or Namjoon everyday and nobody questioned that, it wasn't the end of the world. Armys were saying vmin divorced every single day, and at some point they actually started discussing on twitter why taekook were so separated from Jimin.

Jikookers only made a big deal of people saying "Jimin and Jungkook don't hang out that much" because to them it also meant that they weren't in a relationship. When I said that they aren't as close as I thought they were, or as they used to be, I just meant that they weren't relationship-close. I'm not afraid of saying things, so if I thought they didn't like each other I would've said it, but I never said they aren't friends the way I would never say namkook aren't friends, even if they don't see each other everyday. In fact, I remember saying a lot of times that they were clearly on good terms, just not as good (or close) as jikookers believed.

Whatever happened since hiatus didn't erase anything that happened before hiatus. Jimin and Jungkook also suddenly doing things together after months of not, doesn't change what happened since mid 2022. It's just like that. Just because things seem to change, doesn't mean that the past didn't happen. Just because they enlisted together doesn't make Jimin saying he was the closest to Hoseok and Yoongi, go away. It doesn't make go away the fact that for more than a year, we only ever saw Jungkook and Taehyung hanging out together.

I think probably the most ""radical"" thing I insinuated or maybe said it, I don't remember, was that like crazy was a break up song and that's why Jungkook ignored it jskdjf.

Everything that happened last year or maybe even since mid 2022 makes sense with them being friends. You're friends with people in different ways.. you think Jungkook wouldn't have enlisted with Mingyu or Eunwoo if he had the chance? Because I definitely think he would've. Why does he send good trucks for Eunwoo, or goes to Seojoon's movie premiere, but never showed up for Jimin? Just different ways of being friends with people.

I think many people also repeat "BTS are family" without even thinking what it really means. They are the closest thing to a family, and, I know this from experience because I also have friends that I know for more than 20 years, people I've been friends with since I was 5 years old. We see each other only a few times in a year and still they're people I can trust, and people I would tell secrets to. Their relationship, and even enlisting together makes sense to me in that way and it makes sense with Jimin's personality, too.

If you were given a chance to choose between war and love what would you choose betwen these and why? As a good student I would rather choose love than war, why? because with love there is peace and respect.Love is about forgiving love is about sacrificing and i belive that love is all ways in our hearts and i thankyou!

October 2023 war broke out between Israel and Hamas the militant islamis group that have controlled gaza since 2006,hamas fighters haved fired rockets into israel and stormed southern israeli cities and towns across the borders of the gaza strip killing and injured hundreds of soldiers and civilians and taking many and dozens of hostages.

The israel's settlements currently exist in the west bank including east Jerusalem was claimed by the state of palestine as its sovereign territory,and in the golan heights which is internationally considered syrian territory.

January 2023, 144 Israeli settlements in the west bank including 12 in the east Jerusalem.There are 100 Israeli illegal outposts in the west bank.in overall over 450,000 israeli settlers live in the west bank excluding East Jerusalem With an additional 220,000 Jewish settlers residing on the east Jerusalem.

In conclusion i would like to share a bible verse that ive read today

Editing Day 4

Category:- Coursework Development/ Production

The editing date got overlapped with my pilgramage tour and so I had to miss the editing day as we had already booked flight tickets, this trip was also not really a vacation for us it was more of a serious trip that I couldn’t miss. While I really really really wanted to be there I wasn’t able to because of the circumstances.

Before the edit day, my group and I had a meeting to discuss some of the changes we might want to make during editing day 4. After day 3 I sat down and went through our project and the progress we had made so far with it. After that, I realised a bunch of places that could have been improved. The first thing I wanted to change was the title from For the Devil to Sympathy for the Devil as For the Devil looked and gave off Disney vibes that obviously didn’t pair well with our project and what we wanted to put across. Going with Sympathy for the Devil would also help with branding, as rolling stones is such a big part of our film. It was the song that connected Isha and Vivan in a way and it’s a song that analyses the dark side of humanity- one which allows itself to too easily give into the cliques of evil, thereby helping it to accomplish the wickedness it craves. This perfectly explains Isha in a way wherein she has fully given in her dark side to get what she craves. It also talks about how everyone has that little bit of evil in them and how one incident can change which side you choose. This film in a way follows Isha’s evil. The next was to add the library scene back in, in the monologue Isha talks about how in the 3rd conversation Vivan asks her out, and with the current edit, we have shown them interact only once. Not only that without the library scene in there, the film also looked sudden as there was very little context about how they know each other and what the dynamics of their relationship are like. So I noted down a couple of places that we could shorten to be able to squeeze in at least a glimpse of them interacting in the library. So to discuss these we had a meeting wherein I explained all of the changes that I wanted to make and why I wanted to make them, and they all agreed. We also decided to increase the volume of the dialogue in the party scene as, in some of the places it was hard to hear what people were saying. We created this list to make sure that we don’t forget what we planned on doing.

As the director, your job bounds to coincide with your teammates’ and you end up collaborating with them a lot. It’s also your job to be on top of everything and make sure everything looks nice and goes well with everything you have to sort of be a problem solver and it’s sort of hard to do that when you aren’t able to be there. Edit day 4 was hard for me in a way because there was only so much I could do with call and barely being able to check in and see what is happening and if things are working or not and how they look and if we can do anything to fix the mistakes, all I could do is trust my team members. On day 4 they completed the colour grading, which Aaryaa and Samarth were in charge of as they were the cinematographer and the editor. While I didn’t really agree with all of the choices that aaryaa made but since it’s a big part of her job there is less control that I have over it and not able to there reduced the chances even more. nonetheless i respect her choices and belive that her choices had reason and meaning behind them. They also changed the title, although I do wish that they could have changed the font type to something else that complimented the film slightly better, the title did look nice and not that bad. They weren’t able to add the library scene as it didn’t fit and it was also hard to edit the parts. They also did increase the dialogue sounds in the party scene. And with that, we were done editing our project.

The fact that FEZ didnt see play that was meant for him... I....

Ok but can we talk about the letter that FEZ was gonna give Lexi? was this a love letter? I belive so.

The letter in the end got stepped on and crushed. I hope this doesnt mean what I think it means.. just suddenly. all his dreams and hopes for future were crushed. Like that piece or letter that he was gonna give for Lexi.

God.. I really want to see healthy relationship between Lexi and FEZ but like.. we cant cuz FEZ is gonna be in prison and I feel like death of Ashtray is gonna fuck him up. That was his family who he failed to protect. Does Lexi have to be the person who takes of care again? Id love to see that this time that person is Fez, but how can he if he is in prison and saw his brother die in front of his own eyes. I want happy Fez and Lexi. Best couple hands down.

Speaking of couples... Im so glad Rue and Jules broke up. I dont really want to see them get together ever. Worst couple, Jules cheated on Rue and never really loved her imo. Neither did Rue? Rue didnt really love Jules imo they just had deep connection and they were teenager. Idk either way Im glad they broke up. I am mad tho that Jules never addressed or someone else addressed how she cheated on Rue many times? I dont think Jules understands what being in love is like. As Rue said "You love to be loved you dont love me". Thats true.

Also Nate. I wonder whats gonna happen now? Are Nate and Jules gonna get together? Is Nate going to change? Im sick of this guy. I was kinda expecting he'd kill himself in front of his dad or sonething. Dont ask me why I just had that thought. I dont really want him to see fuck up ever more peoples life. I know he.. had it bad but like.. get this man therapy instead.

will he and Cassie have the most fucked up relationship possible. I cannot tell. I feel like we had a lot of Cassie but same time not enough of her? Is she reflection of "daddy issues" at finest or is in there in surface sometjing else that makes her choose "love" over and over again. Nothing else in here life seems to matter. She wants to be loved so bad. Does she not feel loved by her family and friends that she has to do this?

Also is Kat just gonna be like that? or what. I was expecting bit more of her in this season. She was just? alwful. Ethan is such a sweet guy.

I cant help to think tho. Who was the person who Kat in season 1 (I think) had video chat with and couldnt see, why did this scene exist if it didnt pay any role later on. Also correct me if Im wrong but didnt Ethan spike someones drink in season 1 like at the fair when he was waiting for Kat? These reasons are why I never trusted Ethan in first place.

Did like the writers forgot about all of this? Or what purpouse did these scenes serve. They kept bugging me the enitre season and never got answered.

I dont know.

Anyways this finale was good. I honestly dont wanna see anymore Rue's dad flashbacks. we saw enough. Now finally lets get to other characthers. Sorry if that sounds rude. I just feel like there should been a little less of that. I think we saw a lot of the same flashbacks too much that could been used instead of sometjing else. Or new flashbacks. Glad that story is over with tho and Rue can finally move on.

Glimmadora (Glimmer x Adora) - I have a a couple of reasons for shipping these two, but for short, they just seem more natural to me and it made more sense for them to be endgame due to the events of season 4. Healthier, cuter, and should’ve been canon in my opinion.

Glimbow (Glimmer x Bow) - Glimbow tends to even be liked to “get Glim and Bow out of way for the sake of CA”, or hated because of “heteronormality”. However for me, I like Glimbow because it’s just plain cute! Also I do like the “childhood friends to lovers” troupe. Even though I do appreciate their friendship, I still have a soft spot for them as a romance :)

BowKyle (Bow x Kyle) - Recently, I hardcore started to ship them! I just think they would be very sweet together, they both can be there for each other and listen to each other. This is part of the reason why I REALLY wished Kyle’s trauma was more of a focus and that he and Bow interacted more outside of that one episode! Honestly, I find them two more appealing than any other ships with Kyle. If Glimmadora were to happen, I would totally make them canon.

Perfuma x Scorpia - Some people may think that these two came out of nowhere, and that may be. However, I still think it’s sweet and makes sense story wise. Scorpia needs some more confidence and love, and who better to give it to her than Pefuma? :) Scorpia’s also a doll and will value someone like Perfuma! They just feel right together, what can I say?

Perfuma x Huntara - If I had to choose someone else for Perfuma, probably Huntara. I see it as a opposites attract kind of thing, and I like the development they had in that episode.

BowStar (Bow x Jewelstar) - Saw a couple of people around shipping these two dorks together and it did grow on me. However, since they didn’t have much interaction in canon and Jewelstar only appeared in ONE episode (still mad about that), my love for them has gone down for them recently. It’s a cute ship, but I ship Bow with others better.

Seamista (Mermista x Seahawk) - It’s a okay and interesting ship. Even though my feelings for it can flip back and forth from time to time, it’s overall a fine ship. I just wish the two had a bit more of a buildup and chemistry instead of Seahawk’s affections for Mermista treated as a joke the whole time.

Mermista x Perfuma - Simple opposites attract and can add a hell lot of humor in my opinion! Why not?

Entrapdak (Entrapta x Hordak) - Nice ship. The two had alot of development through the series and never abused each other. I’m glad they ended up together in the end and I hope Hordak becomes a better person, with Entrapta’s help perhaps?

Adora x Lonnie - A very underrated ship and I wished we saw more insight of their relationship growing up.

Spinerella x Netossa - Nice LGBT ship. Healthy, straight-forward and thee two look great together :) Also like how the two compete against each other sometimes, but is still a healthy functional married couple. It’s something that I would like for AppleDash to be.

Okay

Hordak x Catra - Leading more to dislike, but I’m mostly neutral on it. Even though the two are terrible together, I do belive that they did care for one another at some point, even if only a little bit.

Catra x Double Trouble - Seen it around and I’m okay with it. Not my cup of tea, but it doesn’t bother me at all. At least DY would call Catra out on her bullcrap.

Adora x Scorpia - Always was salty of that fact that Scorpia was instant friends with Swiftwind (Adora’s animal companion) and Glimmer (Adora’s best friend), but not Adora herself. I understand that not everyone has to be friends, but the only real reason why Scorpia even hated Adora was because “she was a terrible friend to Catra”, but that should’ve been over with when Scorpia crossed to the good side, right? I always saw a possible relationship between the two kind of pulling a “Korrasami” (leaving the (jerk) boyfriend/girlfriend and ending up with each other).

Scorpia x Glimmer - I thought their interactions were cute and they seem to work well together considering the little time they had together :)

Scorpia x Catra - Something I did ship in the past (and yes, I heard of that scrapped Scorpta scene and we were robbed), but ever since seasons 3 and 4, I lost interest in it because of how Catra treated Scorpia within that time. I’m glad Scorpia never went back to her, even when she wanted to. Scorpia deserves a better friend and companion.

Dislike

Kyle x Rogelio - Something I was ok with at first, but now I think I dislike it. It doesn’t really seem like Rogelio cares THAT MUCH for Kyle, otherwise he would speak out for him more and attend to his side. I get that they grew up in the Horde, but still. I just think Kyle deserves someone better suited for him and to be more “intone” with his needs.

Adora x Catra - I have expressed my distaste for CA in the past, but to make it short: It’s very poorly developed, overrated, focuses on Catra WAY TOO MUCH, It’s not equal at all, doesn’t hold Catra for any real consequences other than “making Adora sad”, and it’s too abusive in the past for there to be a relationship between them now. I was so close to really liking CA, but Noelle competely missed it’s mark.

Glimmer x Catra - I tend to dislike these two together for similar reasons to CA. Also, Catra is partly to blame for Angella’s sacrifice.

Hate

Kyle x Lonnie x Rogelio - I hate this ship. It’s bad enough that I dislike Kyle x Rogelio, but they have to add Lonnie to it??? Lonnie hasn’t shown ANY INTEREST in either Kyle or Rogelio. Maybe I suport them as a team, but not as a ship.

BroTP/Friendship

Adora, Glimmer and Bow (The Friendship Squad (and partly Catra)) - The Best Friend Squad is just precious ^^ They been through thick and thin together. Sure they’ve had their trials and tribulations, but in the end, they made it out ok. As for them with Catra? As much as I would like a friendship between all 4 of them, it doesn’t make sense in canon. Season 5 only really works as a separate thing from the whole series. For it to be a continuation of season 4, it doesn’t click.

Adora and Kyle - I think Adora and Kyle would make for a great friendship. Both have doubts about their selves, but would be the kind of people that would give the other confidence. I think it would even get Adora to recognize that Kyle is actaully not that bad at all??? And why she haven’t ever considered it before??? Heck, I’m really starting to buy into the “lost siblings” theory with these two (probably far fetched, but meh. Still an interesting headcanon).

Lonnie, Kyle and Rogelio - Even terrible as a relationship, it’s ok as a friendship.

Scorpia, Entrapta and Catra - Liked this trio in the past. Really wished that Catra realized (or at least took in consideration) of this friendship and dropped her obsession with Adora.

Seahawk and Scorpia - Liked their interactions in that episode! I hope they got to talk and bond a lot after the war!

The shift had been long, stressful, and TK was exhausted. He just wanted to see Carlos and cuddle with him on the new coach they had bought two days ago.

Carlos wanted to tell everybody the truth, to let them know they were together and that they had been together the whole time.

"Why do you tell everybody to stop asking us about a wedding?"

"Because people love that kind of question. First, why are you single, then, when are you two going to get married, then about the kid, then the second kid and so on."

So in the end, it was already two weeks since they had broken up, since they were boyfriends/lovers, two weeks of everybody trying to understand what had happened to them as a couple.

But TK was happy and relaxed, and comfortable spending his free time with Carlos in the secret of their haven.

Carlos would arrive a bit later than TK, so he had a little while to take a shower, and to order a pizza from their favorite restaurant.

"Are you coming soon?" asked TK in a message.

"I'm stuck at work. I hope to be home in an hour."

TK smiled at the word home, but he didn't want to be alone for that long.

He decided to wait to order the pizzas and just sat back on the couch, watching some TV. Five minutes later, he was asleep and snoring.

Carlos arrived home a lot later than he had expected. it was almost midnight, so TK had probably already gone home. Goodbye to the romantic dinner.

But then his phone rang when he was about to open his front door. It was Owen.

"That's weird," Carlos thought.

Since he and TK had "broken up" Owen hadn't spoken to him. Everyone had to choose sides, though Nancy didn’t; she loved them both, and loved them together. So Owen's call at midnight was weird and worrying.

"Hey, Carlos, sorry to call, but I'm home with Mateo and... It's late, TK hasn't come home yet and he's not answering his phone or reading the messages. It's not that I expect you to know where my son is, but as a cop maybe you can do something. You know, TK, he attracts trouble."

At the same time Carlos was listening to that, he was opening the door and saw TK, there, in his…their house…sleeping on their couch.

“Fuck…”

“What? Oh, I’m disturbing you, Carlos, yeah sorry,” said Owen.

“What? No, um, no. TK…he…he’s probably in one of his AA meetings.”

Carlos moved close to TK, and couldn’t help smiling and caressing his cheek.

“It’s past midnight, Carlos. If TK were there, he would have returned hours ago.”

“Yeah, well.” Carlos took TK’s phone from the coffee table and sat on the edge of the sofa. “Maybe…actually, sorry, but I don’t have a clue, really, Owen, since we broke up we've barely talked.” It was hard saying such things about the love of his life when he was sleeping right next to him.

“Yes, you’re right. It’s probably nothing to worry about, but if you hear something.”

Carlos wasn’t the master of lies but, before Owen finished speaking, he sent him a message as TK from TK’s phone; a really hard message, as he couldn’t help imagining it was kind of real, making his sort-of-father-in-law belive that his son was maybe seeing somebody else already.

“Hey, dad. Sorry if I worried you, my phone died. I’m at Patrick’s. Remember him from AA? I’m spending the night here, I have a really early shift tomorrow. See you, love you.”

“Um… you know, Carlos, forget about it, TK just texted, he's fine, he’s with a friend.”

“A friend?” said Carlos, trying to feel kind of jealous of his own creation. “What friend? Paul?”

“Yeah, no, someone from AA.”

“Oh, he never talked about any friend from the group. Hmm, okay then, so no need to worry. Bye, Owen.”

A text came in to TK’s phone. “Don’t worry, just to let you know, I think I just told Carlos about your new…friend. Is it serious? I think Carlos is a bit upset about this Patrick.”

When Carlos put both phones on the table he sighed heavily. This lovers in secret situation was really hard.

He turned to TK and smiled—nothing else was important when he had a moment to look at his beautiful boyfriend. Very carefully, Carlos decided to pick him up and take him to the bed.

TK sighed and smiled, snuggling against him. Carlos kissed his forehead and climbed the stairs slowly. When he arrived in the bedroom, he carefully placed TK on the bed, took his shoes off, and lay down beside him. He was starving but preferred to be there and fall asleep with TK.

Let's talk about how SG is not developing their characters and plots

Am I the only one tierd of the Supergirl writers?

They literally present social problems and then they don't know how to represent it good, I mean I like that they are trying but is like they just assume that "Oh, in this word there is superheroes so this is not a big deal". They could do so much with this for example present the abuse of power and the foster care subject when people like Lena or Winn are there, Winn was in foster care and people were bad towards him and don't get me start with Lena and the abuse of power.

And now that we are in the subject let's talk about how they butcher Lena's Character, I mean they make her the perfect villan with perfect motives, (I have always said that the best villan are the ones who don't belive they are the villans) but they decide to suddenly rush her whole redemption arc and center it all in Lex not in her like, NO, just because you help them to stop Lex is not a redemption Arc you should show actual regret for Everything (like the Xenophobia, the gaslight, the hurt towards her best friend, the illegal experiments, etc.)and think about it and not just for a couple of minutes in the episode.

Lena: Alex how can you choose save innocent people before your sister???

They really make her show not regret for that. I get it she loves Kara and want her back because it was her fault but that didn't help her redemption Arc we just took several steps back and they left it in there because if they decide give her Super powers then they are going to take her story in other path and not finishing her redemption arc. And don't get me started in the whole Canadian thing.

And let me mention that this whole thing is way worse than with Mon-El story, he was a jerk and then suddenly fell in love with Kara, had his rush redemption arc and then went to the future and came back like a whole different person that was no longer important.

Seriously they have awesome characters, and they always let them go to half development and just try to fix it all in a couple of episodes (like Winn who like Lena could have an awesome villan and redemption arc) and is what I really think is also going to happen with Andreaand Kelly both great Characters but again not developed and they are going to suddenly make them part of the super friends.

And to finish let me wrap all this in how CW is not promoting the episodes which is clear that they don't care anymore because is all going down hill with too many things and so little time.

And as a Fandom let me tell you that you guys are not helping, let's be kind to the cast and show equal support to everyone.

Please let me hear your opinions about this, maybe I'm blaming the writers because things are not for my taste but they actually are doing a good job 🤷‍♂️ or if you have a different opinion about the writing and Cw that you may want to discuss.

a concept : an adora who doesnt forgive catra who has been hurt so much in her life that she cant forgive nor belive in mothers anymore like let people know its ok to not forgive someone who has hurt you. You dont own them anything.

On the one hand, I think it’s pretty unrealistic how Adora just forgave Catra so quickly. Idk, I thing the forgiveness part needed to be stretched out to properly develop both characters.

In the case of Catra, her redemption needed to be better fleshed out so the audience, who had watched her betray Entrapta, abuse Adora, harass Scorpia, and kidnap Adora’s friends, could actually believe that she’d changed and she wasn’t just trying to get off the Velvet Glove.

Considering Adora, her hasty forgiveness just completely scrapped her development in seasons 3 and 4. “youve made your choice. Now live with it.” *doesn't think of Catra while trapped on Beast Island to become She-Ra again.* It all seems to be forgotten about and hastily pushed aside just so c//a can become a couple.

And while I’d really like Catra to give Adora a proper apology, and for Adora to actually get a choice upon whether or not she would like to continue things with Catra, platonically or romantically, I’d also like to see them sort things out.

I agree 100%, Adora doesn’t owe Catra shit, but I’m also in favour of them coming to a mutual understanding; that their childhoods were full of complicated choices and endless pain, and while that doesn’t excuse every action, maybe they can repair their friendship, once Catra gets properly redeemed, and once Adora realises, like she did in season 3, that she doesn’t owe Catra an apology or forgiveness.

That’s for her to decide, and Catra can’t blame her for choosing to do neither.

Omg i loved your list!!! It must've been a handful bc it was very thorough, diversified (in genres, year published/updated type of writing and even authors). And you said you were deep into the avalance tag in ao3, so you must've had a lot of work with these. You even included SMAUS!!! I totally forget about them, but they are super fun to read and the ones you selected are really good indeed! Kudos to you!!! Your whole list is AWESOME! And very entertaining tbh bc i was here waiting to see what fic you'd recommend lmaoo did not disappoint, let me tell you! T A S T E hahaha

But wait... You read You Are My Miracle in one go???? How far was it when you read it?? And YEAH once in a while we are hit with a 10k+ chapter and i LOVE IT! Hahahaha idek when i started, but maaan the slow burn kills me!!!! Good fic good fic.

And the HSAU MY BELOVED!!! that's the one you mentioned chapter 27 right? lol A Classic™️ can't express how in love i still am with this fic. It's long, and the slow burn seems even longer bc YOU JUST WANT THEM TO KISS 😭 (and its so worth it when the do!!!). And I loved even more the other fic with Jordan (it's Impossible to not like her!!) but mostly bc when I joined the fandom the HSAU was wrapping up and when i first read it it was already finished. And to follow a fic since the fists chapters, waiting for a new update... I just love it! And the whole story is INCREDIBLE!!! One of my top faves for sure.

The SQ au is also one of my faves, even though ive never shipped sq. And you are right, Lucy knows what she's doing lmao one of the firsts i read for avalance and its amazing amazing amazing!!

There's another one that's one of my favs and I belive it's the very first avalance fic I read (bc i was familiar with the author's works from another fandom): I See My Future in Your Eyes by lizardwriter. Another really great HSAU!! (Also Stuck With You is totally worth the read!!)

Anyways, loved your list and the way you organized it. So fun to be on this journey with you even though i just sat back waiting for your posts and sometimes forgetting to read them 🙈 hahaha

❤️ The Word doc I organised it in is 9 pages and almost 4,500 words. Would not have survived if I didn't edit in there. Just for general reading I filter AO3 into different length fics, and then sort by kudos, so I've probably read the description of most of the fics in the tag over the years. The list was from my own 109 pages of history, not the tag, so I was choosing things I've read. It wasn't a conscious thought to have such a range, really it was looking at my history, and what did I enjoy.

I love the concept of SMAU, and they really get lost to history. Unless you find them by accident, which I did for the first plinys one, there's a high chance you don't know they were a thing. I was following a bunch in early 2019 (that was longer ago than I thought), but plinys was the only one who I saw complete their's, and I know how to find them again, as I also do not have twitter.

The process was worth it if you enjoyed it. Also making my life easier; re-read Better than Ice Cream last night, and was so easy to find.

You're My Miracle was a couple of weeks worth of reading, I think. I keep some of my AO3 update emails (for my Favourites as it makes me happy), and the first one I have for that fic is Chapter 28. I was up-to-date by then. That was published August 1st 2019, which is now also a long time ago.

you make me smile (please stay for a while) was one hit. As I wrote, I read the first chapter when it was published, and the prequel one-shot, back in 2018. Got so irrationally mad about Laurel, and stopped. Not long after I went back to only really reading Supercorp fics. I read the whole thing Feb/March last year. And yes, that is the Chapter 27 I mentioned. For me, I love them both so, so much but this is the way that we love (like it's forever) pips HSAU for me. The scene that had me crying at work was when Amaya and Sara were talking about how the legends fell apart after Sara left; that was my school friends after I moved away for uni. I was the only one to move away straight after school, and I was only 2 hours away. I thought all my friends were catching up without me, but they weren't. There's some guilt in that, feeling like you're the reason why people weren't seeing each other, which I hadn't identified, even after they called me 'the glue' of our group at my 21st, until I read that scene.

Ohh, I'll give that a try! Thanks. I've seen it before, but haven't given it a chance. Stuck With You is grey-ed out, so I guess I've read it at some stage. There's always going to be gems that you didn't see when they were new, and don't know to dig for. That's what I'm hoping I've done for people with my lists.

Organising things is a favourite past-time of mine. The amount of time I've spent on my bookshelves, both books and Pops!, is probably more than I should, but I'm very proud of them. If only there was an easy way to get hard copies of fics to display...

You've been my partner in feels for this, and for that I'm very thankful. :)
