author's note: hi anon! thanks for the request. the moment she starts to go into labor was based on the story my mother told me about my birth (she's okay 😭). i think it's kind of scary, but i like the idea. sorry for the delay, i got so wild when i realized it wasn't turning out the way i wanted it to and i gave up for a few days but i did my best today. i decided to separate it into two chapters, hope you like it. good read<3.

chapter one

"— two minutes, nikki!”

you heard tommy screaming from the other side of the door. you and nikki were on his dressing room couch for at least 20 minutes, waiting for someone to call your boyfriend to start the show. you were lying on his chest as he ran his fingertips over your belly.

being pregnant was not easy, being pregnant surrounded by mötley crüe was even less. you knew nikki couldn't stop his life for you, yet you were still upset by the miniscule amount of time you spent together, or for the moments together that were interrupted, like now.

when nikki couldn't be with you, heather was. no one but her would dare, so that's where he takes you before going on stage. he helps you to sit on the sofa next to her and then kneeling in front of you. you feel his lips touching your belly and staying there for a few second. nikki knew you didn't want him to go, neither did he.

��— i love you. the show will end soon and i will take care of you at the hotel, hm?” — he chuckled a bit before getting up and kissing your forehead. you laugh a little at the sensation, feeling shy with heather’s presence next to you. “— love u too, nikki.” — you said

he also hugged heather and thanked her before leaving. you could hear some curses coming from mick about how long he took.

you and heather didn't watch the show today. the doctor said that the baby would be born soon, so you limited yourself to the minimum of activities that could make you really agitated. you loved being the band number one fan, but the time you spent with heather in the dressing room was precious. she kinda made you forget how bad you felt about the aftermath of pregnancy.

you loved your daughter, but it was stressful.

you became an extremely needy person in the start of your pregnancy, and over time, realizing that nikki could never do anything about it, you ended up taking it out on him sometimes. there were also times when you felt like you couldn't get out of bed because of the pain, you felt things much more intense and sometimes all you wanted was to cry yourself out.

heather was your best friend, and she understood. she knew what to say and what not to say. she knew when you were acting on impulse and when you were hiding something. she knew how you were being criticized the last few months. you and the boys knew too but nobody wanted to talk about it.

and she also knew how you must have felt when you read all those articles saying you didn't look good and comparing you to nikki exes. stressed.

“— hey princess!” — nikki said as he wrapped his arms around you. he was about to ask you how you were doing when he felt you pushing him away.

“- come on, i’m tired.” — you said in a low tone and followed the path to the parking lot behind the stage. your husband just chased after you, confused by your reaction.

you ignored nikki the whole way to the hotel. refusing the touches or anything he told you, until the boys started laughing at the situation and he just gave up. for the first time there wasn't a crowd of fans waiting for them, they just signed a few autographs and got in.

you went up to the bedroom while nikki said good night. as soon as you sat on the bed, you wanted to cry. a few tears fell when you blinked, but you dried them off when you heard the door open.

“— what the fuck was that?” — nikki started.

"- oh my god...” — you muttered, knowing what was coming. you and nikki had argued before. usually because of you behavior, which caused an argument about nikki's behavior about it, until it became unbearable.

“— that is all? or you want to give another show? really, yn, I've been doing everything to make you comfortable, not to upset you, and yet you keep acting like a bitch.” — he said louder, making you shiver a little.

“— that bitch here is carrying your fucking daughter, motherfucker. can't you have the slightest bit of respect? or am i just a bitch to you, sixx?” — you said as you went to the bathroom, taking off your shoes and coat.

"- respect? you can't even say goodbye to your daughter's uncles and you want to talk about respect? Is this the kind of shit you're going to teach her?”

you stopped at the bathroom door when you heard that. it wasn't exactly what he meant, but it was what you felt, and this was a sensitive topic for you. for nikki too, but did you feel so insecure about it. the creation. you stayed up nights with him talking about how you were afraid of being a bad mother, how you would give anything to know exactly what to do at the right times. you talked about your childhood, and how your biggest fear was putting your daughter through something similar.

“— fuck you, nikki. fuck. you.” — you forced yourself to laugh at that moment “— maybe you should look for someone better for the job, since you're already getting tired of me.”

“— jesus, you're crazy as fuck. are delusions part of it too? or are you just scared?”

"- crazy? i went through eight months with a child inside me. nausea, pain, insomnia. spending all day thinking about this girl's future and blaming myself for not being able to do all this and still not being the perfect woman for you. my husband has been enjoying the rockstar life, being applauded and praised while people hate me more every day. i'm not crazy, nikki, i have limits.”

“—well, me too. and congrats for pushing me to mine. while you complain about the way i manage to keep us both, why don't you worry about making yourself bearable for your daughter, since i'm not being enough either?”

you've never seen nikki scream before. actually, not with you, at least. scared you. your mouth opened but nothing came, you really tried to say something before he opened the door and left the room, but when you heard the door slamming hard, you gave up, letting yourself cry a little.

it was weird. your vision blurred and it was hard to feel when you sat on the floor, just feeling your head banging against the wall.

you closed your eyes and started to feel something running down your legs. at the time, you didn't use logic, feeling like you were going to pass out at any moment and scared of what nikki was going to do outside that room. your low cries turned into screams of pain as you felt something in your stomach.

“— yn?”

you heard someone say. you failed to recognize the voice or who was there, just taking the person's hands and squeezing.

“— n-nikki? nik, come back, please- fuck!” — you screamed again

“— yn, it's me, heather. let's take you to the hospital, okay? vince will look for nikki...”

she must have said something else, but it's not like you could hear her. tommy had you in his arms before your eyes closed, following his wife to their car.

It wasn't always supposed to be a secret, honestly. At first you and Tom just agreed to keep things quiet from friends and family to avoid so many opinions while you got to know each other.

Tom of course couldn't keep himself totally quiet and found himself spilling to the boys one quiet night in, too happy in his new relationship he felt he'd burst if he didn't tell someone.

You followed his lead, telling your best friends but making them swear to keep it quiet. And then, keeping it a secret became almost fun. There was something so exhilarating about sneaking around, staying at each other's places and spending nights feeling like there was no one else in the world.

Naturally Tom introduced you to his close friends so you could spend the night at their place, and you found yourself really growing close to them, div behavior and all.

So here you were, basking in the early morning sun in Tom's bed as he snored quietly next to you. Downstairs you could hear a faint clatter of the boys going about their morning, preparing breakfast and making their teas.

Snuggling closer to Tom, you press yourself into his back and snake an arm around his waist, pushing one of your knees between his gently. He hums quietly, his hand slowly moving to hold yours over his chest. You press tiny kisses into the back of his neck, pushing yourself up on one elbow to reach over to his cheek. He chuckles, turning over to face you and opens his eyes slowly.

"Morning," you whisper cheekily.

He brings his hand up to your face, tracing the edge of your features gently.

"Morning, m'love" he rasps.

You poke his side as his eyes flutter closed again.

"Tommy," you whisper. "Don't go back to sleep."

"M'not" he mutters, as he promptly goes back to sleep.

You drag your finger up over his bicep, trailing up his neck and tracing the wonky line of his nose broken too many times. He scrunches up his face, tongue poking out to lick your finger as it passes over his lips.

"Ew, Tom!" you shriek. "That's so gross!"

"Wha- you'll make out with me for hours and you'll put my- but that's gross?" he says disbelievingly. "You're mental, love."

You roll your eyes and he reaches out in apology, opening his eyes and pulling you into his chest.

"What are your plans for the day?" he asks, changing the topic smoothly.

You shrug, snuggling into his warmth.

"Not much. Thought I might go shopping later if the weather doesn't get too hot."

He nods.

"I assume I won't convince you into joining me and the lads for a round of golf?" he says teasingly as you shake your head playfully.

"I would rather chop off my own-" your playful jab at golf is cut off by the slam of the front door and a chorus of voices and stomping of feet in the foyer. Both you and Tom frown, trying to figure out who it is.

It's when Harry says loudly up the stairs "Mum! Dad! Paddy! and who's that getting out the car...oh Sam! Forgot you were coming this morning!" that you and Tom snap into action.

"Oh, bollocks!" Tom hisses. "I clean forgot my family was coming over this morning!" he jumps out of bed, pulling on a pair of sweatpants and hunting around for a T-shirt.

"Your- what?" you shriek. "Your family? I haven't met your family!"

"Is Tom awake yet? Is he here?" the faint voice of Nikki echoes down the hallway.

"Erm, I think you're about to meet them darling," Tom says worriedly.

"Here, put some pants on." he chucks a pair of pyjama shorts at you, followed quickly by an abandoned T-shirt of his.

You slip into the clothes hurriedly.

"Are you sure you can't just chuck me out the window or something?" you ask. "It's not too far a drop and I bounce back easily."

"Hmm," says Tom. "Hard pass. You'll be fine, really. They'll love you."

You sigh, rootling through your overnight bag to find a hairbrush.

"Are you sure it's not- it's not too soon?" you ask. Tom pauses, sitting down on the edge of his bed. He pats the spot next to him, gesturing for you to sit.

"It's very rushed, but I think it's a good time for you to meet them," he says seriously. "I've been thinking about introducing you anyway. My family is important to me and so are you. I think we're ready to take this next step?" he trails off, searching for a reaction from you.

Your heart swells at his words and you nod. "I think so too."

He holds out his hand for you to take.

"Ready?"

You nod.

"Ready."

"Morning, darling." says Nikki as Tom enters the kitchen. She stands up to hug him, but stops short when she sees you hovering behind him, your hand still firmly grasped in his.

"Oh!" she says. "Hello."

"Hi." you say quietly, suddenly intimidated by Tom's whole family peering at you from their places around the kitchen.

"Mum, Dad, idiots," Tom starts. "I want you to meet Y/N."

"Hi, Y/N." says Paddy monotonously, not looking up from his phone.

"My girlfriend." Tom adds proudly.

You blush, enjoying the way he said that. You hadn't formally discussed a label for your relationship yet and it sounded really nice coming from his lips.

"Your girlfriend?" repeats Dom.

"Oh, hello darling!" gushes Nikki, sweeping you into a hug. "I'm Nikki, it's so nice to meet you!"

"Hi, Nikki," you say as you hug her back. "I'm so sorry, I usually don't wear my pajamas to meet new people, promise."

Nikki laughs, taking you by the arm and leading you over to the couch. You both sit down and she hands you a cup of tea.

"Right," she leans in like she means business. "Which embarrassing story from Tom's childhood do you want to hear first?"

All three of Tom's brothers follow you into the lounge, situating themselves on the furniture and the floor, always eager for an opportunity to roast their eldest brother.

Tom rolls his eyes, leaning over the back of the couch and putting his mouth right next to your ear.

"I think this is going well, girlfriend."

I yapped a bit and told him about @memephanniesnet because how could I not .. that groupchat is seven years old in a few weeks and we are still chatty there and he thought it was so funny 😭

I took my pics w him and he looks so cute I want to pull my hair out nekddksndkdndn

I asked him to sign a specific page in YWGTTN that rly resonated w me and asked him to write me a small message to read when I get into medical school + a semicolon that I’m going to get tattooed :)

I gave him a plushie corn because I’m from Iowa and also a hat from my uni and he thought it was so cute and he laughed too god I love this man to pieces

I also gave him jelly beans from Trader Joe’s and he said “fuck yeah oh my god” :3

I don’t remember what he smelled like I’m sorry guys it was a blur but I asked him if I could give him one last hug after and he said “oh course you can :3” god what if I just DIED 😭

He’s the sweetest guy ever and I’m so glad I got to meet him and chat :,) I wrote him a three page letter about how much he means to me and how proud I am of him so I hope he reads it :,) a night I will never ever forget for sure

toms family was never the type to skip out on a new england summer. the hollands and your family would always spend the summer in massachusetts, spending the days at the beach house nikki had convinced dom to get back when you all were kids.

now it’s become a tradition. a tradition that you’ve grown to fall in love with, wanting nothing more than to keep the tradition going.

the beach house was gorgeous, right on the beach with its own private entrance to the sand and ocean that was calling your name. you took off with the boys to the water, giggling as you raced them into the waves.

it wasn’t a lie that you and tom had always felt some kind of way towards each other, even the adults claim it’s always been obvious ever since you were both teenagers. you both have unspoken feelings about each other, waiting for the other to cave in.

you made your way into the water, tom and sam following close behind you. harry and paddy had fallen short, almost falling in the sand. you laughed as tom splashed you.

“cheater!” he laughed, “you got a head start!”

you smiled, “can’t keep up, spider-man?”

he looked good. too good. his sun kissed skin was glistening with saltwater. the salt in the air had made his curls more defined, sticking to his forehead. his sunglasses sat on his slightly crooked, freckle covered nose.

everything about him was perfect.

“oh i can keep up,” he said, “you just distracted me, that’s all.”

“sorry, i’ll try to be less distracting.”

“nothing wrong with a little distraction once in a while.”

Mental health sucks right now. So I wanna talk a bit of some of my flip qPac headcannons.

Pac is both a caregiver and a little, tho he rarely is a cargiver as he regresses more often.

2. Pac's main caregiver was only Mike but after he got cured from the happy p*lls, Fit also became his caregiver

3. Mike knew Pac regressed after they escaped Alcatraz, and Fit discorvered Pac's regression when they met up again after Pac got healed, tho it was more of an accidental discovery (Pac needed a lot of reasurrence and comforting after Fit found him mentally smaller)

4. Pac is both volintary and involintary, most days he'll regress on his own, but others he'll not have control of when he regresses

5. Pac wants to trade spots with Empanada, seeing her have amazing moms makes him want to switch to have that experience, any time he thinks about that he starts to regress

6. I feel Pac would regress around 3-5, he would be more shy and quiet than when his big.

7. Pac has a creeper plushie from Mike (when he first regressed, Mike gifted a creeper plush he stole to help him feel better) he carries the stuffie around while little and when he's big, he'll keep the plush on his bed.

8. He has other little gear than just his plushie, ever since Fit found out about Pac's regression. He made sure Pac had more things than just a plush (as Mike and Pac wasn't able to get other stuff for Pac)

9. Tubbo and Philza secretly knows Pac regresses, Tubbo wants to have a playdate with him but is too shy to regress around anyone (as he wants to prove he's strong and useful) and Philza will watch other Pac and Fits busy or not awake (Pac ends up regressing more)

10. Pac loves cuddles, Mike and Pac usually will sleep in the same bed together (especially if one of them has nightmares) Pac really loves to cuddle when his headspace is smaller, he will sleep instantly when he's held by his caregivers

11. He does take care of Richas or Ramon when they do regress (usually more at 2-4 depending on how old they feel. And Pac is actually one of the best caregivers, he checks on them and will play along with whatever they're doing (playing pretend, painting, or even doing puzzles)

12. Pac ends up regressing sometimes while taking care of the mentally smaller eggs (and so he has to ask for help)

13. Eventually Pac and Fit will find out about Tubbo's regression when stumbling on a mentally small bee (Philza and Nikki aarethe only ones that knows about Tubbo regressing) and so they both become his caregiver and Tubbo and Pac even plan a playdate when they both regress (Fit is on board of watching them both)

14. Pac loves chocolate milk, he'll always ask for it whenever he's small (Mike is more less manipulated by Pac's puppy eyes while Fit tries to resist before giving in) (Mike has been around Pac longer and so is more used to it)

That's all of the headcannons I have for flip qPac. This made me feel a bit better (slightly a bit fuzzy but not fully able to regress) but hope u guys have a bom dia/bom noite owo

It was a pretty quiet day in the Holland house. Dom and Nikki, along with his brothers, were all out of town on a "vacation" of sorts. Tom ended up staying home to take care of Tessa. He was pretty excited to finally have the house to himself for once, especially since that meant he could invite you over. Everyone knew that you were his best friend-you've been there for him during some of the hardest times in his life. You've known him since before his first Marvel role, and you were so blessed that you got to see him grow up in his own little ways.

You and Tom knew practically everything about each other. He could always tell when you were having a bad day or vice versa, and knew exactly what to do. So, when you showed up on his front porch for the scheduled hangout with a fake smile on your face, he knew something was wrong. He tried to get you to talk to him several times, but eventually just let it be. He knew you well enough to trust that if it was serious you'd come to him in your own time.

You two started your TV marathon-Brooklyn Nine-Nine, of course- and sat down on the living room couch. Tessa immediately curled up in between you both. You leaned into Tom's chest, allowing him to wrap his arms around you providing the casual comfort only a best friend could. His and Tessa's presence and breathing calmed you significantly, even as your thoughts weighed heavily on your mind.

"What if he doesn't support me? What if he breaks off the friendship? What if he hates me?"

Your brain ran through all of the possible outcomes with anxiety, thoughts whirling through your head at what felt like 50 miles an hour. Only when Tom's hand squeezed your arm gently did you come out of it, shooting an apologetic smile at your best friend. He nodded in understanding, holding you just a little closer as if he could protect you from the negative thoughts he didn't even know were there.

Logically, you knew Tom would probably be supportive. He'd had so many positive interactions with LGBTQ fans and family alike, but for some reason your brain thought it would be different. Oh well, you figured, might as well get it over with.

However, the second you opened your mouth, you felt your blood run cold. You quickly shut it again, hoping Tom didn't notice your little speaking mishap.

In reality, Tom definitely noticed. It only made him more concerned for you. You'd been off the whole day, not paying attention to the show at all. He knew all he had to do was wait for you to come to him, but he was still anxious as hell. Tom was a helper, and he had never felt the need to help more than he did in this moment.

"Want to go get some ice cream, Y/N?" he asked, a smile on his face. Your eyes brightened up as you nodded, jumping off the couch. "Okay, I'll get Tessa's leash on. You wanna grab a hoodie from my closet?" As you nodded again, he went to grab Tessa's leash and let you do your thing. You came back downstairs a minute later, all ready to go.

Tom put Tess in the backseat, making sure she was secure. The minute you got in, you stole the aux and Taylor Swift started blaring. When Tom scoffed, you smirked unabashedly-it was Taylor Swift. The ride to the ice cream parlor was uneventful, filled with quieter music and Tessa's paws on your arm. It was peaceful, and for a moment you were finally able to relax.

The bell dinged as you both walked into the shop, Alex coming over to greet you.

"Hey, loves! How's it going?" they grinned, already preparing your orders and Tess' whipped cream.

"Pretty okay, Alex! Mom and Dad are out of town, so me and dingus here are having a sleepover." Tom smiled, making sure Tessa didn't try to sneak behind the counter again. As soon as Alex got your orders prepared, Tom motioned to head out to the car, but you shook your head.

"Is it alright if I stay back and talk to Alex for a sec?" At his nod, you walked back in to find Alex sitting at one of the tables with a milkshake. They smiled and motioned for you to sit down. Nose deep in their milkshake, they motioned for you to continue.

Alex was one of the most open people you've ever met. They made it public knowledge they were trans, and you looked up to them very much.

You gulped. "How..how did you come out to your best friend?" Alex immediately sat up a little straighter and made eye contact with you.

"Well, honestly I feel like they knew. I kind of just came out with it outright. They were so supportive, and honestly it went really well. Why? IS there something you need to tell me?" they asked, a glint in their eyes.

"I'm pan, Alex." you stated, eyes widening when they giggled a bit.

"Dude. I know. I also know that you're terrified to tell Tom, am I right?" At your shrug, they continued, "I can promise you 100% that he's going to support you. He's your best friend, and above all an awesome person. I think you should do it. You got this kiddo," they beamed. Standing up to hug them with tears in your eyes, you started walking out. They grabbed your shoulder, and whispered "it's gonna be fine." Planting a kiss on your cheek, you finally met Tom outside.

You ate your ice cream on the way home, quite enjoying the newfound confidence the chat with Alex gave you.

The second you got home, Tessa jumped on the couch with you, effectively taking Tom's spot. He playfully glared at Tess and scooted her over until he was sat beside you. Turning on the movie, he felt you snuggle up to him and relaxed.

Your heart was beating, however, as you sat up again. "Tom. I really need to get this out and I've been thinking about it for a while, it's completely fine if you don't accept it. I mean it's not fine, it'll suck ass, but I understand-"

our best friend cut you off by placing his hand over your mouth, taking his turn to speak. "Y/N. Please just tell me. I won't judge you, I pinky-promise."

"I..shit. I'm pan."

Realization flashed across his features, and before your eyes could get too teary he pulled you into his chest.

"That's okay, kiddo. I know. I've got you, it's okay love." He continued murmuring support into your ear as your eyes got heavy. You knew you were going to fall asleep soon. You placed your hand on Tessa's head by muscle memory as she scooted towards you, finding enough strength in you to say three words.

"I love you," you sighed sleepily, your best friend's face going soft again at those words. He murmured his reply, but you were already fast asleep. The last thing you registered was the feeling of being loved, and you wouldn't trade it for the world.

author's note: hi, sweeties! im sorry this chapter is short, but besides the fact that i was already taking too long to post, i liked the result anyway. hope u like it too! kisses & good read. <3

chapter two.

“— be careful, lady!" — tommy yelled at you from the driver's seat. he looked at the younger sister's figure, smiling. it's been a long time since he's seen you like this.

you felt the adrenaline pumping through your veins, but that didn't mean you had taken anything that morning. the wind ruffled your hair and you laughed euphorically as you continued to lean your body out the car window. it was like tommy's words didn't even reach you.

you and tommy woke up late that day, having an long argument with your parents last night. tommy was surprised when you started defending him, since you rarely came out against your parents, but you did. something about you changed that night.

you were in the car, going to nikki's house. as soon as nikki gave the address, tommy was already in the car, not even having eaten yet. as he started the car, you got in, without saying anything. he thought it was strange but didn't say anything.

and you? you heard tommy talking to nikki that morning. you got ready quickly and managed to catch tommy starting the car. he didn't know about the conversation you had with nikki last night, in truth, you didn't consider that was why you woke up so excited that morning. you thought it was sudden, and you didn't want to look for reasons because you haven't felt like this for a long time. it was good. you and tommy shouted out the lyrics of whole lotta love, accompanying robert plant's voice coming from the radio.

when tommy stopped the car in front of the apartment complex, you sat back and took a deep breath. your curls were messy and you could feel your cheeks heating up.

"— how you feel?” - tommy asked laughing. he really was worried, but he couldn't help but laugh at your panting state.

"— amazing!” — you smiled before getting out of the car.

tommy put his arm around your shoulders as you walked together to nikki's apartment, thinking you were going to fall over at any moment.

“— my hair is fine?” — you asked when tommy was about to ring the bell. he looked at you confused.

“— why? you wanna be fine for the bassist?” — he laughed, teasing you.

you opened your mouth to protest, but nothing came out. his comment surprised you, even you were used to tommy talking nonsense shit, but you didn't understand why. he laughed even harder when he noticed the vibrant shade of pink on your cheeks and just lightly runned his fingers through your hair, smoothing a few strands.

“— better now, lady" - 'lady' was a stupid nickname tommy gave you when you were in middle school. you thought it was cute, but would never admit it.

after tommy rang the doorbell, you were at least a minute standing in front of the door, waiting for nikki, but nothing happened. he repeated the action three more times, until you felt stressed and simply opened the door. you didn't know the door was unlocked, and you thought nikki was an idiot for it, but just walked in.

on the couch, there was a nikki sleeping with a bass on his lap and a bottle of jack next to him. while tommy gave him a few weak slaps across the face to wake him up, you picked up the bottle and took a sip.

when nikki woke up, he looked startled at you and tommy, dropping the bass to the floor.

"— fuck!-” — he scream, desperate with the situation.

you laughed at him as tommy widened his eyes thinking the man was going to hit him or something. actually, he was pretty calm (after a few minutes of deep breathing). he offered food to you and tommy and after a while, you sat back and listened to them start arguing about the band thing.

nikki offered you to sit next to him, and tommy was sitting in front of you. they exchanged some papers, probably lyrics and other song ideas they had written. you didn't pay attention to the conversation, feeling your brain being hit by the alcohol you had drunk earlier.

“— there's a market in the back street, I'll go there and get more beer. well, since your sister took what was left.” — nikki laughed as he got up from the couch.

“— NO! hm- i mean, huh, you don't have to! i can go there!” — tommy said and got up first, looking at me angrily and feeling embarrassed by the bassist's comment, even though it was just a joke.

“— ah... fine, then...” — nikki looked worried about tommy, but just sat with you again and pretended nothing had happened.

when tommy closed the door, nikki looked at you. you weren't looking back, but you felt his gaze. you knew there was something going on between you since yesterday, but didn't want to do anything about it now.

you smiled softly when you recognized the song that was playing on the radio. it seemed that moment, that silence you and nikki agreed to remain, it had only been made for the input of stevie nicks voice flooding the room.

you had a kinda rock n roll look. always with messy hair, wearing leather, dark colors and band shirts. that's why everyone was always surprised when you talked about your favorite artists. queen, fleetwood mac, david bowie, elton john, janis joplin ...well, they really played rock, but not the type of rock people used to think you were into.

you were quick to get up and turn up the radio, rocking your body while the music played. nikki didn't take her eyes off you for a second, but you didn't notice that. he wasn't a big fan of fleetwood mac, but at that moment, he thought that the only things that existed in the world were you and the melody of that song.

"— dance with me, sixx!" — you said excited, clearly drunk. do you remember thinking at that moment that nikki looked a little sad, for no reason, you just thinked. that's why you reached out to him, wanting to share that moment with him. you didn't care that you didn't even knew him right, you wanted him to feel good.

he got up slowly, not knowing what to do. he just spun you around the room a few times, laughing when he heard the sound of your laugh, smiling when he catched you staring at him for some seconds.

"— pale shadow, she's a dragon!" — you shouted, not caring if anyone was listening.

then you stopped in the middle of the room. looking at nikki with an innocent smile on your face. he thought you were the most complete thing that had ever passed through his life

“— gold dust woman...woman, woman...” — you hummed, looking at him as if looking for something. a story, an answer, a feeling.

and all you got was the insecurity and vulnerability hidden in the green of his eyes.

Y/N L. S. BASS (guitarist): “oh, yes!” laughs “he gave me that nickname; ‘gold dust woman’. i was called that for many years, but he started it. hm, i never understood the reason”

NIKKI SIXX (bassist): “it was her song, for me" he says, smiling "you can't listen to this song without remembering that woman”

im glad you asked. well... holy fuck, i could talk about yume nikki for hours!! but... if i had to summarize it down, heere are some points:

its yume nikki!!! such a unique and different game from anything ive seen, even with its fangames. well if you look back at the gaming scene in 2004, then something like an rpg maker game thats NOT an rpg and actually a weird surrealism thingy was kind of crazy. it does seem to be inspired by the mother series, which has a lot of weird artsy stuff and also lsd dream emulator, also a game where you walk in dreams, which is self explanatory. also it utilizes rpgmaker mechanics in SUCH mindblowing ways, it doesnt even feel like it was made with it. it flows VERY well for a 2004 indie game.

the atmosphere and theming is so awesome. the NPCs who are completely indifferent to you, the worlds all connectin g together, etc. also, the art and music is really charming in kind of a nostalgic way, the aztec inspirations for the npcs, all the different sights and how desolate and lonely it feels, yet kind of still comforting. you know?? like the dreamworld is an escapism for madotsuki, but she still cant escape the horrors of reality..............

3. every part of it is very mysterious. a whole intigue of the game for many people has been what the dreams are really about!! of course there is also the developer kikiyama, who theres practically 0 info on. even though obviously people should respect their privacy, people still wonder what happened or why the game never got finished. i hope they're well....

4. the fanbase of yume nikki is one of the most cool ones ive seen. its one of those old fandoms from back in the 2000s that never stopped going, like touhou.. you can find a lot of old short little animations of yume nikki. theres the big viewed ones, but also ive found really obscure ones with under a 1000 viws, which shows how much people cared about it. even though the game was seen as dark, they were often really wholesome. theres also yume nikki fansites from back then, and a lot of cool fanart. even though the fandom was fairly small, its kind of like a window to how different the internet used to be. now its even more popular with internet horror stuff being more noticed recently.

its just really kind of heartwarming that so many people connected with a short game about isolation and anxiety posted on some forum site back in 2004 by an unknown person, i think.

5. the fangames!!!!!!!! there are so many fangames for this game, all because people liked the idea so much, hundreds of them wanted to try making one. ynfgs are always really charming to play, however none of them compare to yume 2kki ( the big one). its the closest ive ever felt to going to another world in a video game, even more than yume nikki itself.

because so many people have worked on it, 2kki has an endless seeming amount of content which is pretty awesome. some people think its incoherent because of how big the game is, but it always made it feel more like a dream to me. especially like one you would have as a child, falling asleep while being driven home from a birthday party or something like htat. fun fact: 2kki got started in 2007, before the final yume nikki update, which means there is a chance kikiyama might have even played it, which is pretty crazy...

protocol rain. happy first esports anime. unsure if this will last the season but for now there's a core of smth in there that keeps me watching. also the op/ed are gorgeous rly where they put their priorities lol bc the main show does look like ass

100 girlfriends/hyakkano. the harem parody i didn't know i needed. the setup is so genuinely stupid but it fires thru jokes at such a rapid pace you barely have time to remember the ones that don't land as well. THE ANIMATION IS SO BEAUTIFUL. also inch rested to see if they can get to 100 girlfriends polycule without becoming boring (komi san i am looking at u......)

apothecary diaries. everything i hoped it would be <33 some say the mysteries are too easy but since im not big on detective stuff im actually happy with the pacing (compared to raven of the inner palace which could drag a lil imo) it just looks soooo good maomao is so fun her cat emotes... <3 ((also ngl. there's elifauve angle to the main duo which i am. delighted abt ww))

ragna crimson. do the character designs look like a b-tier anime from the early 2000s? yeah. does it slap all the fucking way? YEAH. ragna and leo are extremely whatever but crimson (damiacore!!) and angel dragon are SO DOPE. aots no doubt <3 (<- biased i cannot be trusted) it just scratches an itch that hasn't been scratched since the isekai game inspy fantasy scourge took over. bar is on the ground etc

shangri-la frontier. heel turn but. scratches the video game fantasy world itch and it's just stupid enough to be annoying. no isekai bullshit. fight animation that's exactly what made sao fun but without the harem bs that made sao.... sao. (i know there's more girls coming i just hope we stick to fun beat em up with it.)

sousou no frieren. ANIME OF THE DECADE. absolutely no question about it this is the best thing i've ever seen every second of animation is jaw-droppingly beautiful all the characters and the fkcin story the cycles the grief the humanity behind it all. i cry every single ep ;-; i am too enamored by it to even be annoyed abt the german names of everything and everyone. it's awkward but as someone who also gave all their first ocs telling japanese names I'LL LET IT SLIDE <3

spy x family s2. excited to get to boat arc. exactly what you know ur gonna get from it and i love getting more sxf. it's fun!!!!

undead unluck. it has the kill la kill energy (idiocy) we have no choice but to stan. took me actually till ep 2 to clock it was made by shaft guys and now i cannot unsee it anymore. all the chars and gimmicks are stupid and fun and it perfectly fills the niche left empty by zom100 being in production hell. ive watched anime for long enough that i can ignore the sexual comedy bits but it is becoming stale (in which it falls short of what klk was able to pull off. god i miss klk) lol
