Can I request an elijah mikaelson x reader fic where she’s Bella swan’s older sister by several years who moved to New Orleans, got married to Elijah, and became a vampire? They go to forks for Bella’s wedding and the mikaelsons are recognized by some of the cold ones?
P.s. love your work :)
I had just finished rewatching the Twilight movies. Also I hinted at a possible part two.
Warnings: Fluff, Protective!Mikaelsons, Klaus being Klaus, Cute sister bonding
It was a surprise to you when you got a call from your father that Bella was getting married. Followed by a wedding invitation and it struck a cord in you. Which was how Elijah found you, his beautiful wife, sitting on the bedroom floor teary eyed.
"Love? Are you alright?" Elijah asked worried getting down next to you. You looked at Elijah with teary eyes showing him the invitation.
"My baby sister is growing up.....she is getting married." You say softly and Elijah smiled gently wrapping you up in his arms.
"My love, Isabella was going to grow up sooner or later. It'll be okay." Elijah says trying to lighten the mood. Elijah knew how much you loved your sister, being married to you for five years had taught him that much.
"But she is just a baby!" You said looking up at your husband who was trying hard to not laugh.
"'Lijah why is Y/N crying? What have you done?"
"Nothing Niklaus. Isabella is getting married." Elijah says handing the invitation to Klaus. The hybrid raised an eyebrow reading it over before smirking.
"Shall we go and welcome the boy into the family? Threaten him to be sure he never harms Isabella?" Klaus asked and before Elijah could say a word you perked up.
"I would like to know who this Edward Cullen is."
--
"My older sister is coming to the wedding." Bella tells Edward a bit worried. Carlisle smiled putting down his book. The family was a gathered around to help plan the wedding while Bella sat worried just who be coming.
"It'll be nice to meet the woman you talk so highly of." Carlisle says noticing the worried look on her face.
"I'm sure. But Y/N's husband and his brothers are a bit overly protective and I hadn't had the time to tell her I was dating."
"Don't worry Bella. It'll all be just fine." Alice says skipping over to Bella with a smile. The human smiled still worried but if the Cullen's were calm about it then so would she.
--
It was the day of the wedding and Bella was happy to see you again. Was a long while since she last saw you. So when she saw you next to Elijah who was holding Hope. She felt happy and moved to greet you and to see Hope again but Edward stopped her.
"Bella, who is that?" Edward asked her staring at Elijah and you.
"That is Y/N, my sister and our niece."
"How does she know an ancient one?" Edward asked as Carlisle walked over having noticed you and Elijah.
"Elijah? That is her husband, why are you being weird about it?" Bella asked looking at her now husband with a raised eyebrow. Carlisle watched Elijah introduce you and Hope to the Denali coven and he wondered how the Denalis knew Elijah.
"Elijah and his family are the first vampires." Carlisle answered Bella who looked at you and Elijah surprised.
"What? What do you mean?" Bella asked watching Carmen touch your bumb with Eleazar. Elijah smiling as Hope babbled to Tanya and Kate.
"They are the first. From my understanding a witch did a spell on a vampire from one of their bloodlines, mutating the vampire venom. Making us, as they call us cold ones."
"And how does the Volturi feel about them?" Bella asked as it seemed you were fitting in very well with Denali coven.
"They fear us." Bella jumped hearing Klaus's voice behind her. The hybrid smirked hugging Bella before narrowing his eyes at Edward.
"Nik! Thank you for coming." Bella says holding her brother-in-law's hand smiling.
"Of course sweet Isabella. Rebekah and Kol sends their love both still enjoying their honeymoon bliss."
"Well knowing them, they'll send wedding gifts." Bella says as Finn came walking up also staring Edward down. Both Mikaelson men made Edward nervous even more when Elijah joined the group.
"Isabella, why don't you go see Y/N and Hope?" Elijah says smiling and Bella was unaware of the tension that was building, she nodded heading over to you.
"So young Edward what is your intention with our dear Isabella?" Elijah asked as Carlisle stepped in his eyes flickered over at Jasper and Emmett, both ready to step in also. Edward swallowed, he had already faced Charlie's shovel talk but to get one from the oldest vampires alive? Made Edward die a little inside.
--
You smiled at Bella who had Hope in her lap listening to the four year old talk. You had gotten to know the Cullen women who surprised that you were a vampire and pregnant.
"So how did you and Elijah meet?" Rosalie asked making Bella pause when you froze. It was never talked about how you met Elijah, the only people that knew was Bella and the Originals.
"Oh you know, a cute moment of meeting at a party." Was the lie you told everyone not wanting to tell what really happened. Rosalie and Alice stared knowing you lied but didn't push it as Esme smiled softly.
"And how are you?" Esme asked looking at your bumb and you brighten up.
"Elijah's older sister is a witch and help us have a baby. Since Hope came into our lives, he wanted a baby of his own."
"When are you due?" Alice asked watching you wipe Hope's mouth. There was a sudden air of motherly love around you when you also began to help Bella take her vail off.
"Some time in winter. By the way, I noticed that Jacob isn't here." You said looking around seeing Billy and Seth but no Jacob.
"He....he was busy." Bella tells you making you narrow your eyes as Elijah joined your little ladies group. Hope whined for her uncle who happily lifted her up gently cleaning the cake from her cheek.
"How was your shovel talk?" You teased Elijah as he leaned down kissing your cheek.
"Niklaus threatened to tear the boy's spine out and paint with young Edward's blood if he ever hurts Isabella." Elijah says looking at the Cullen women seeing their shocked faces. Bella sighed looking Elijah while you were fixing her hair.
"There was no need. Edward would never hurt me." Bella says getting Elijah's attention. Elijah smiled rubbing Bella's shoulder before sitting down.
"We are well aware dear Isabella but you know Niklaus is protective of family. He was angry when we learned the boy put you in the Volturi's path."
"How?" Alice asked watching Elijah smirk.
"Your false Kings should be careful on who enters their home." Elijah says feeding Hope some more cake as the Cullens stared while you weren't surprised. Elijah had planted a few little spies in the Volturi since it was away to keep an eye the Kings.
"How do you know the Denali coven?" Rosalie asked noticing Finn speaking to the Denalis.
"Finn and I met them from when we both were in Alaska." Elijah says as Hope grabbed his attention pointing to her father.
"Excuse us, it seems Hope wants her father." Elijah says standing up and Finn took Elijah's spot next to you. And the Cullen women watch Bella happily talk to Finn and you, excited for the baby.
--
"The Volturi want Edward to turn me." Bella says as you sat with her eating some cake. It was just the two of you sitting on the deck watching the party guest. Since you were pregnant and Bella in a gorgeous wedding dress so you both couldn't climb a tree. Both of you just having a sister moment just like you used to before you got married and Bella living with your mother.
"Do you want to be turned?" You asked her taking a bite out of the cake. Bella looked down swinging her feet.
"No....but I have no choice...."
"No you do Bella. The Volturi can not force Edward to turn you or else they will suffer the wrath of the Original family."
"Did you wanted to turn?" Bella asked you, not knowing the Cullens were listening in. The Cullens had been curious about you since meeting you.
"Elijah had no choice to turn me. It was that or I die, Celeste made Elijah choose between me or his family. Obviously he chose me."
"If there was choice....would you turn?" Bella asked you and you looked down at Elijah seeing him dancing with a sleepy Hope.
"I would....look I won't tell you what to do Bells. But if you really love Edward then do it but don't let the Volturi influence your decision."
"Okay. Thanks sis." Bella says laying her head on your shoulder and you kissed her head. You laced your fingers with Bella's.
"They really won't let the Volturi force Edward to turn me?" Bella asked and your answer terrified the Cullens.
"If it came down to it, they'll slaughter all of Volterra for you. I know they will never let you be harmed. That is a promise of Always and Forever." You tell Bella enjoying your time together before she had to leave for her honeymoon. Both of unaware of the soon to be mess that was to come.

elijah mikaelson x vampire!reader (no y/n)
author's notes; combining these requests :) hope that's ok!!
warnings; vague references to past violence but nothing insane. exes to friends to lovers, just plotless fluff, with an extra side of fluff. yes elijah is extremely charming, yes he can't make eye contact with a pretty girl. duality of man.
It’s an unspoken thing, what lingers between them still. Unspoken in the sense that they don’t talk about it, but everyone else does.
It always shocks people to learn that the oldest vampires on Earth are ridiculous, catty gossips. Elijah doesn’t know why it’s such a surprise. Living as long as they all have, you’ve got to keep things interesting, otherwise immortality becomes mind-numbing. He supposes that it just doesn’t measure up to their reputation for being ruthless animals, which isn’t unfounded. It’s just not the only thing they could be classified as.
Ruthless monsters that defend each other to the death at the end of the day, no matter how many times they’ve stabbed each other in the backs, certainly. Childish gossips that like to start rumors and rewrite history when they get a little bored, definitely. The two identifiers can coexist, and very much do.
And this thing, this unspoken thing that is unspoken for a multitude of reasons but none more so than the simple fact that even as long as they’ve known each other it’s still fragile, and something could break it with ease, is only unspoken to Elijah.
His brothers and sisters, however, like to do nothing but talk about it.
“Well, she’s almost here,” Rebekah rolls her eyes, but it’s just for the fact that her older brother is going to be a lovesick idiot the entire time the girl is here, and it really takes away from Rebekah’s own quality time with her. “No wonder Elijah’s been bumbling around like a fool all day.”
Klaus chuckles, and the two of them dutifully ignore the glare their brother sends them. “Do you think she sent him a letter to announce her arrival? Elijah always loves things like that,”
Rebekah’s blue eyes light up. “Oh, yes! I wonder if she sprayed it with her perfume– us ladies used to do that with a suitor back in the day,” She fans a hand towards her face, closing her eyes at the small breeze it creates. “They don’t text or call, of course, it takes all of the personality out of it. And god knows Elijah’s all personality,”
Klaus laughs again, and the two finally glance across the room to where Elijah’s leaning against a wall, glaring at them with his arms crossed over his chest.
“I hate you both,” He says, earning another round of laughter from them. “And stop going through my things, Rebekah. Those letters are none of your business.”
The blonde girl pushes her lips out in a pout. “But I get so bored, Elijah. You can’t be mad at me for entertaining myself,”
“I fear he just hates fun, dear sister,” Klaus says, feigning a wistful tone. “He doesn’t approve of my methods of entertainment either.”
“That’s because your methods of entertainment always end in a bloodbath,” Elijah says accusingly, earning a shrug from the hybrid. “You’re both immature. A thousand years old, still acting like children.”
Their faces twist in offense in unison, and Elijah distantly thinks that even though they’re not even fully related, let alone the same age even in their vampiric years, they were twins put on this Earth to terrorize him and ensure that he never knew peace.
Before they can begin their outcries of dramatized offense, and Elijah can continue to lightheartedly mock them, a voice comes from the hall, echoing fondly.
“Must you two always tease your brother?” The smile is obvious in her voice as she walks into the room, and the three of them snap their gazes towards the woman in surprise. “He’s a delicate soul, you know. His poor heart can’t handle too many jokes,”
Elijah recovers quickly, rolling his eyes, though he can’t (and won’t) stop the smile from growing on his face as she meets Rebekah for a hug. “Oh, wonderful. That’s just what they need. Encouragement.”
She chuckles at his poorly-feigned exasperation, and the sound settles in his ears like a morning dove’s song. She releases Rebekah from the hug and leans down to where Klaus is stretched out in a chair with his feet kicked up on the table, pressing a kiss to his cheek.
Glancing around at the vaulted ceilings of the compound, she sighs wistfully. “I can’t believe this place looks the same as when you bought it,” She shakes her head in slight disbelief.
Klaus shrugs, crossing his arms over his chest. “When we first returned, there was some… cleaning up to do, but it’s maintained its shape wonderfully.”
If she catches onto his double entendre, she doesn’t say anything, just nods in understanding. That’s something Elijah has always liked about her– she lets things go unsaid. She’s always had the ability to connect with him and his siblings in a way that most others can’t, and even when Elijah is at his worst, she’s been that olive branch that he can grab onto to bring him back to himself. Always so understanding and level. It’s a wonder that she still associates with any of them, given their penchant for chaos.
Finally, she turns her attention onto him, and in its entirety he feels breathless. Even after decades of knowing one another, it’s never gotten easier to hide his ardor for her. He knows she can still read him as easily as she could thirty years ago, too.
“Elijah,” She says his name better than he’s ever heard it, with a tilt to her head and a fondness in her voice that makes him feel more alive than anything else he’s found in his centuries on this planet.
She crosses the room to where he’s at, because he froze in his spot as soon as he heard her voice, and wraps her arms around him like she’s never been more relieved to see him.
It’s another thing he’s always liked about her. She’s never stopped loving him. He knows that. Lives with it everyday.
Regrets a lot of things, too.
He says her name back as gently as he can, like she’ll break in his arms. He wonders if she thinks of all the times she has broken in his arms, and then he tells himself there’s no way she’s forgotten it, because he hasn’t. And that is something that is theirs and theirs alone.
She pulls away and he misses her touch the moment she goes because it feels rarer and rarer with each day that passes. Every time she leaves, he fears it’s the last time he’ll see her.
He doesn’t want to ruin her visit with these thoughts. Even though he knows she’d offer him endless comfort, he doesn’t want her to worry about him for a second.
She turns to face them, clapping her hands together with a smile. “Well, then. What’s first on the agenda?”
──────
Something that comes with living as long as Elijah has is learning that some things about yourself you’ll just never be able to change. Such things like being a vampire in itself, having a firm hand when it comes to doing business with people. He’s been told he’s somewhat of a snake, and he’s well aware of his silver tongued ways, and it’s something he knows he can’t change, and hasn’t ever wanted to.
One thing that has yet to fall under that category of acceptance is his jealousy.
In his defense, he’s never jealous when he thinks he should be. He’s never been jealous of his siblings, spare for a few embarrassing months spent around the doppelgängers, but Elijah has never had to envy someone for something they had because if he wanted it that bad, he could just take it.
But this. This he knows is jealousy, pure and unbridled, and nauseating, if he’s feeling that correctly.
This is the jealousy that he’s seen destroy entire regimes. This is the jealousy that has driven his family to madness at times.
And of course, she’s at the center of it all. Of course she is. There would be no other way he could feel this so strongly if she was not involved in it somehow.
She’s the source of a lot of jealousy, he knows. He’s jealous of the carefree relationships his siblings get to have with her because they don’t have to be burdened with the feelings of the past that are most definitely still there. They don’t have to worry if they looked at her lips for too long, or if they held her a little too gentle to be considered entirely friendly. They don’t have to worry about saying the wrong thing, stepping past that line they so carefully drew in the sand for everyone’s sake.
These are the consequences of his actions, he knows. It doesn’t make it any easier to deal with, though. It might make it worse.
Watching his siblings drink freely as the band played on was nothing unfamiliar. Patrons had long since joined in on the fun, and he’s sure there’s a crowd outside looking in on the celebration of unknown origins.
At the center of it all, she is there, standing on a table with a crowd of adoring admirers surrounding her as she swayed and moved to the music. He would swear there’s a light shining on her, just for her, projecting her shadow above everyone like some sort of angel. He thinks she has every right to be worshiped.
And the reason he’s so maddeningly, bitingly jealous is because he is the reason that he’s not the one dancing with her. He can’t be the one to dance with her, and he can’t be the one that makes her laugh like she is because he’s the one that said they shouldn’t be together. He is the one who broke her heart, and he doesn’t deserve an ounce of the kindness she still shows.
So all he can do is sip his drink at the bar and watch as she pulls his sister, sweet, dangerous, devastatingly insecure Rebekah, up onto the table with her and shares her spotlight with her. Making his sister light up like she does with no one else. Earning another round of cheers from Klaus and Kol as they watch on, demanding another round of drinks for everyone in an odd show of generosity.
She brings out the best in his siblings. In him.
It makes him burn bright inside. Boiling, hot to the touch. He knows then and there that there’s a reason he’s seen something as trivial as jealousy take down the most powerful of men. Love is such a dangerous thing to get involved in in the first place, but finding someone, finding the woman who makes you feel like you could conquer the world is something else entirely. It bypasses dangerous and heads straight into fatal.
Because she makes you feel like you could conquer the whole world, but the second you lose her, it all means nothing. You’ll tear it all down if it means she won’t be there, too.
And the worst part of it all is the only reason he feels like this is because he is the one that ruined it. Blamed his family, blamed his parents, blamed everything else but his own fears for the reason they couldn’t be together. The distance, the timing. Whatever he could grasp, he pulled it out of his pocket and gave it to her on a silver platter, served with a distant coldness he’d long since perfect, and never wanted to use on her in the first place.
He had so much time under his belt, but he was such a child. So helpless it bordered on criminal, all because he fell in love and he didn’t know what to do with it.
It’s embarrassing more than anything else.
He hasn’t taken his eyes off of her since she started dancing. Hadn’t stopped listening since he heard her first laugh. Didn’t want to miss a single second, just in case.
For the first time all night, he blinked and turned his head away from her and threw the rest of his drink back like it was water.
He could allow himself a bit more wallowing. Just a bit.
──────
“Well, Rebekah’s safe in bed. I even got her in pajamas, believe it or not,” Her voice carries even in its whisper, and he looks up from his lap as she enters the small living space, hands clasped in front of her as she takes a seat in the chair beside him. “Original vampire or not, I doubt she’ll feel very good in the morning.”
Elijah hummed, thinking of his dear sister and how even if she’d healed a thousand times over, she’d still find a way to complain. He adored it.
“What about you?”
He raises a brow, lips twisting confusedly. “What about me?”
She gestures towards his slightly slumped form on the couch pointedly. He follows her direction, looking at his rumpled suit, and the white button up he’d undone the top four buttons off, at least. He feels momentarily embarrassed at his state of disarray but he simply huffs out a laugh, lifting his gaze to meet hers again.
“I’m a mess,” He shrugs, earning a quiet laugh out of her. “But I don’t think that has anything to do with our drinking tonight.”
“I can’t disagree, unfortunately,”
He hides the way his grin threatens to split his face behind his face, rubbing along his scruffy jawline as he looks at her. The longer he lingers, the more she avoids his gaze.
“What?”
He shakes his head.
“Elijah,” She intones, such a familiar adoration in her voice that it nearly makes him sick. He doesn’t deserve it. “You’ve been so quiet tonight. What’s on your mind?”
“You,”
Her eyes widen in shock at his quick, candid answer, and he has to hide his own surprise at how quick the word had shot out of his mouth.
“Me? What about me?”
“Everything,” He sighs, shifting his long legs so he could turn towards her and give her his full attention. “I’ve missed you.”
“Oh,” She breathes out, looking slightly bashful. “Well, I always miss you. I wouldn’t ever leave if I didn’t–”
She stops herself, covering her mouth with her hand as a sheepish look crosses her face. He knows she wants him to move past her slip up, but he doesn’t. Can’t.
“If you didn’t, what?” He leans forward, looking at her imploringly. “Why do you stay away so long?”
She takes a moment to collect herself, picking at the skin around her nails half-heartedly, like it’s not really bothering her, she just doesn’t want to be so open right now. He’d feel worse about pushing her if he didn’t feel like his heart was leaping out of his throat.
“Well, I didn’t think you wanted me around that much,” She says quietly, gesturing towards him.
He rears back like she’s slapped him.
“How could you ever think such a thing?” He whispers her name, a distant veil of horror laced in his tone. Fear, really.
“You said,” She says, face furrowing in confusion. “All those years ago– you said that there was no reason for me to stay here with you in New Orleans. So, I– I left. And I travel all the time until I come back here for as long as you’ll let me.”
Elijah feels something gripping his chest and it feels remarkably like his heart is breaking.
His voice breaks on her name and he leans forward again, reaching into her space to grab her hands in his. Allowing himself this piece of her that he simply doesn’t deserve.
“I never,” He stops, breathing out harshly. “I never wanted you to leave. I just–”
He stops again, squeezes her hands, and then steels himself because this is the least he owes her.
“You deserved more than to be stuck here with my family,” He starts slowly. “I never– I never wanted you to leave. Every time you walk out of those doors, I want to chase you down and make you stay. You have to believe me when I say that I only ever wanted you to be happy, and you wouldn’t have found that stuck here in the mess we had made back then.”
There’s a poignant silence that settles as she processes his words, and he holds the ragged breath that builds in his chest when she begins to drag her thumbs along the backs of his hands, smoothing at the skin there. Ever so gentle.
“All I’ve ever wanted was to be here with you and your family,” She says, shaking her head like she’s scolding him, even though her tone is anything but. “Being here makes me happier than any place I’ve traveled to. And I’m– I’m truly grateful that you had my best interest in mind, Elijah, but you have to understand,”
She trails off and an incredulous laugh leaves her lips as she smiles at him. “I’ve loved you my entire life. And my heart used to break every day knowing that I’d only have a short time with you. When I turned, I was so– I was so happy because I suddenly had the rest of time to be with you. And you… you broke my heart, Elijah. You truly did,”
She presses her thumbs into his skin firmly, just a pressure point to punctuate her words. “But I have never stopped loving you. And every time I walked out of those doors and left you behind, my heart broke again. You wouldn’t have ever had to make me stay. That’s all I’ve ever wanted to do.”
Elijah’s breath stalls in his chest, and lets it out slowly, shakily. There’s a distant string of hope he lets himself pull on, just this once. Because she let him.
He meets her gaze and smiles softly, just for her. “Will you stay, then? I’m– I’m asking you, truly. Will you stay?”
She nods before he even finishes speaking and laughs quietly, the sound just for him. “Of course I will, Elijah. I’ll stay as long as you want me to,”
“Forever,”
“Forever, then. I’ll stay forever.”

Elijah Mikealson x Autistic!sister!reader - away from it all
Tumblr media
I love your Mikaelson sibling stories and I was wondering if you’d be ok to do another one! If it is ok, I was thinking of another one where the reader is the mikaelson brother’s autistic sister who has the strongest relationship with Elijah. I can’t think of a full idea of events that could happen and I know you’ve done one with a similar reader so I hope this is alright! ❤️ - Anon💜
Wherever Elijah went, you went with him, it had been that way since you were children, you were always right next to Elijah.
And as the years went on, that never changed, even if he wanted to be away from the family, to get away from it all he would bring you with him.
And this was absolutely no different.
As you stood behind your older brother Klaus, your eyes eagerly looked around the parking lot.
“Over there, go on now.” Klaus said.
You snapped your head to here Klaus was pointing, and you made your way over to your other brother and he smiled at you.
“Hello (Y/N).”
You walked behind him around to his right side, balling your hand into the back of his blazer to hold him and you looked up at him.
“Where have you been?” You asked softly.
“I apologise, I had to leave for the morning, you were asleep when I left.”
You nodded and followed behind him as he led you to the path and began to walk down the street.
“Are you not supposed to be in school?” He asked.
“I don’t need school Elijah, you know this.”
“I know, but Niklaus thought it would be beneficial for you.”
“Klaus just wants somebody to be on the inside to feed him information.”
Elijah chuckled a little bit, nodding his head in agreement and glanced down at you as you both carried on walking.
You walked around Elijah and you jumped on his back, and he chuckled a little bit.
He stopped and helped you a little, and then he held his hands on your arms, and he began to walk again.
“I dislike school Elijah.”
“I know you do (Y/N), but perhaps instead of just not attending you could at least call in sick.”
“They called you.”
Elijah gave a small nod.
“I dislike Alaric, and Elana.”
“Why is that?”
“They hunt you, attempt to hurt you. All because of Klaus.”
“It is something we must expect you know this, nowhere is ever truly safe.”
“Because Klaus is trying to hurt everybody…”
Elijah sighed a little bit and he took you back to the school, and stood in front of your car, letting you step on the hood of it.
He turned around and watched as you sat down, crossing your legs and resting your hands on your knees, tapping them a little bit.
“I know you remain despiteful of Niklaus, and uninterested in humans, but you must do your best not to get involved in his plans.”
You nodded and you looked around at all the cars before you turned to look at your favourite brother again.
“Why does Klaus always cause trouble Elijah? Put everybody in danger?”
“I’m not entirely sure, but you know he does care about you. He wants nothing more than to keep you safe, why do you think he called me when he saw you wondering around?”
You shrugged a little and Elijah sighed, taking a seat next to you on the front of your car.
You looked around a little bit again.
“Elijah?”
“Yes (Y/N)?”
You shuffled a little bit, holding the back of his blazer again.
“Can you take me out of school?”
“I could.”
“Will you do it?”
“Of course, come on.”
You followed Elijah to the school and smiled a little bit to yourself as he went to the front desk of the school.
“What will you do if you don’t have school?” He asked.
“I want to leave for a while, Klaus is causing to much trouble I don’t like it.”
Elijah nodded his head in understanding.
“Then we will leave for a little while, how does that sound?”
“Where will we go?”
You looked up at your brother.
“Whatever you’d like, just so long as we get you away from whatever chaos our brother is planning.”
You smiled at him and nodded your head happily

Tumblr media
Y/N POV
Three days. That's how long it took the original family to get me acquainted with everything that happened in those missing years. They found a new member of the family, killed their parents (and crazy aunt) again, and ruled New Orleans just like "in the old, good times." That was too much information to get in that short time. Especially since I was drunk for half of it. Bekah and Kit-kat made the decision to get to know me and Freya by attending parties every night. It was fun at first. But when the hangover came to me the morning after, it wasn't funny anymore. At least I made a new friend.
"Earth to Y/N!" someone screamed at me and pushed, making me fall from the kitchen chair. I groaned in pain, rubbing my sore butt.
"Kol Mikaelson. Do you wish to die on this awful morning?"
"It's 11am." he replied, annoyed. The 10th-century maniac always started his day with the crowing of the hens. I was unworthy (or too lazy) to participate in this mystery of the rising sun.
"I told you. Morning."
"I'm sorry, but I, unlike others, have a real problem on my hands, and I don't have time to deal with your bitter, hangover attitude."
"I apologize for your grace. What is so important that you have to hurt people this morning? You broke one of Klaus' paintings or finally stole his precious daggers?"
"That's better." I gave him a stern look. "Relax, darling. I was joking."
"Not appreciated."
"God. I don't know why my brother likes you."
"Hey! Elijah is my friend; of course he likes me." I replied offended.
"Not these ones. And not in a platonic way." my amused, kind smile faded at his suggestion.
"You know what? I'm too hungry to… what did you say? Deal with your attitude?" I said with a mean smirk on my way out of the kitchen.
"No! Wait a second!" he used his vampire speed to stand before me. "I'll make you breakfast. Just help me."
"What will you cook?" I asked, crossing my arms.
"Scrambled eggs?"
"I want waffles."
"Waffles?"
"Uhm. With cherry jam, whipped cream, and strawberries."
"You're going to be fat."
"And very happy. You don't want me to be happy?" I gave him my best puppy eyes.
"Alright, alright. Three waffles then." he agreed, heading to the cooker.
"Six." I corrected him, sitting down at the kitchen island across from him to watch him cook my food.
"Seriously?" he gave me an incredulous look.
"I told you. I'm hungry."
"My God, watch over your future husband."
"And his bank account." Kol burst out laughing as he started cooking my breakfast. "So? What can I help you?"
"It worked. I have a real date with Davina."
"Congratulations." I nodded as I poured myself a glass of orange juice.
"Thank you. But now, as she said yes, I have to make this day unforgetable and amazing."
"I'm starting to worry about you. Are you feeling fine? How many fingers do you see?" I asked, showing him two fingers in front of his face. He snorted, pushing my hand away.
"This is very funny, but I need your help."
"Why me? I mean, you have two older sisters and two older brothers who have probably been in many more relationships than me. They know how to flirt better than me." I inquired, feeling uncomfortable about assisting a 1,000-year-old vampire in picking up a girl when the number of my ex-boyfriends was limited to only one.
"Oh, you'd be surprised…" he says, looking at me with a little smile. "Maybe they have some... romantic experience, but they are over a thousand years old. And Davina is from these times, like you. You know what I'm trying to say?"
"Usually? No. But let's say this time I understand that you called your sibling pensioners. So, tell me something about your girl. I need to know her likes."
~•♤♤♤•~
*After some time*
"I think that's all." he handed me my food, looking at me expectantly.
"Well... I think you shouldn't take her on your first date to any fancy restaurant, cinema, or theater."
"Then what?"
"You're a good cook. Make her something and go boating on the river at night. You know stars and constellations, tell her about them after dinner. But don't make yourself a genius, women usually don't like this."
"Do you think that's enough?"
"You can scatter rose petals on the deck and decorate it with lights. But definitely don't take the poor girl to Paris, or you'll overwhelm her. Save something special for significant dates, like big anniversaries or something."
"You sure?"
"Trust me, women like it when a man makes an effort. She'll be delighted if you do everything yourself. A pampered vampire prince flying around town to fulfill her every little whim and do something special for her? She will love it."
"Vampire prince?"
"Please... like your family doesn't act like royalty."
"Does that mean I'm the king, love?" Klaus came to the kitchen with a little girl in his arms. God. This man looked too hot while he was holding a child.
"Absolutely not. But this sweetheart in your arms is a true princess. Yes, Hope?" I asked, giggling, when she started laughing after I tickled her. I was so fascinated by the sweet child that I didn't notice the look a holding her hybrid was giving me.
"If I remember correctly, this is not your babysitting week. Have you been stealing her from Hayley for three days because you missed her, or do you have another reason, brother?" Kol asked, snapping me out of my trance. This child could easily charm people around her.
"Did you steal her?" I asked indignantly.
"I am her father, love." he replied, looking at me offended.
"What's your point?"
"I can't steal my own child."
"Well, since you don't get along too well with her mother, I believe you can. Did he steal you, angel?" I asked her as she started to grab my hair in her little hand, forcing Klaus to lower himself to my level so the little princess wouldn't fall out of his arms.
"No, I don't. Hayley knows where she is. You two don't have to worry." I gave him a chair so he could sit next to me and not have to do gymnastics with the little troublemaker he held.
He sat her on his lap so she had better access to my bracelets, which turned out to be her next interest. I giggled as I watched her mumble over the pendant of a silver witch flying on a broomstick towards a diamond moon. A birthday present from her father. Talking about the hybrid, he also probably appreciated the selection of my jewelry.
"May you be more like your mother, sweetheart. It would have saved her a lot of nerves." I said to her, taking the pendant away just as it was about to go to her mouth. She screamed something in her language and grabbed my finger instead, trying to drop it with her gums.
"She must have been teething." I thought, not even noticing the gentle, lovely gaze the hybrid was giving me while holding the baby.
"She has the look of the devil in her eyes. That's all me, love." I shifted my gaze to the girl's father.
"Whatever helps you sleep at night."
"I think we already talked about nights and beds. Did you reconsider my invitation?" he asked, smiling and leaning closer to me.
"Don't talk to me like that with a little baby in your arms. It may be traumatizing for her. Just like for me." I replied, pretending to tremble with disgust.
Kol's snort reminded both of us of his presence.
"I told you, Nik. The baby trick doesn't work on her when your baby is cuter than you. You have to find another way into her cold heart."
"Don't you have a girl to chase?" I asked, shooting him a stern look. Did each of them have to be joking about our improbable romance?
"Actually, I do Y/N." Kol came over to us, kissed Hope on the cheek, and did the same to me. Klaus's quiet growl didn't go unnoticed. "Bye darling!"
"Stop calling me like that, you're a taken man!" I shouted after him. "Idiot. What?" I asked the hybrid, who was staring at me with a strange, unfamiliar look in his eyes.
"H e did you breakfast?" he asked with a cold, impassive tone, trying to cover his emotion.
"Yeah. He wanted help, so I made him do something useful in return."
"Oh, I see. Were that cheek kiss and "taken man" talk also part of your generous help." his resentment became more audible in his voice with each passing second. He was angry. But why the fuck?
"What's wrong with you? Kol and I are friends if you expect me to act like we don't..."
"Are you two just friends?" he immediately cut me off, not caring to hear what I was about to say.
"No. We're secretly married, and I'm expecting his child. I'm madly in love with him." I said sarcastically as I was about to leave the kitchen. I didn't like the direction this conversation was going.
"Y/N." Mikaelson's firm tone of voice and the use of my name instead of his usual "love" told me he wasn't joking or playing a game after all.
I turned and took a step closer to him, so our chests met. Hope's legs were hitting me a little as she waved them around, muttering something under her breath. His eyes were all on mine. Unwanted shivers ran through me.
"Kol fell for your town witch, Davina. I helped him plan a fantastic date. That's all. Don't misinterpret our actions. That's how we talk to each other. But even if we were something more, it wouldn't be your business. I'm not your toy that you can appropriate."
"I've never said you are. Don't misinterpret my actions."
"Are you using my own words against me?"
"I don't know, love. Did I?"
He gave me a challenging look, occasionally lowering his gaze to my lips. I stood there, never thinking about how close we were until his nose brushed mine. I couldn't give him the satisfaction of backing out. He'd never kiss me anyway, would he? We did a lot of stuff, true, but a real kiss was something neither of us could do as part of our "game." At least that's how I explained my suppressed desire to be close to him.
"NIKLAUS!" Elijah's yell immediately pulled us apart. I cleared my throat, reaching out to take the little one from him.
"I'll take her to the park. Maybe we even go to the playground, what do you think, Hope? Do you want to swing with auntie Y/N?"
"I'll try my best to come to you two as fast as I can." he said, and gave me his child.
He took a moment to look at both of us, and before he left, he kissed Hope on the head. Little bastard had to give me a "goodbye kiss" in the exact same place as Kol did. And just to be clear, I wasn't blushing.
Blood just suddenly ran into my face and made me red like a tomato. Just it. It had nothing to do with a kiss from the original.

3rd PERSON POV
"I hope you had a good reason to call for me, because I was that close to finally making this little, stubborn witch kiss me."
Klaus ran into a library to meet his elder brother. It appeared that he wasn't alone. Kol was right behind Elijah, proudly smiling at him. That little bastard tricked him.
"What's going on here?"
"Kol told me about your..."
"Using our niece to flirt with Y/N. How do you plead from that?" Kol chimed in on his older brother's words.
"I'm not going to talk with you about my relationship with Y/N."
"Which, by the way, doesn't exist at all." the blond man moved towards his younger brother, but the oldest Mikaelson's hand on his shoulder stopped him.
"Behave yourselves. Both of you."
"I'm sorry, brother, but as you can see, he's the one who has consistently sabotaged my plans for Y/N. Make him behave himself." he pointed an accusing finger at Kol.
"I'm trying to save you from making the great mistake of your life. As much as I love Y/N, she doesn't fit our lifestyle. If you started to date her, you'd put her in the middle of our enemies, old, crazy witches who want to kill us, or even worse, your ex-girlfriends. You'll ruin her, and she deserves something more than our family drama."
"And you, Elijah? Do you share his opinion?"
"It doesn't matter. We just... want you to reconsider your plans before it's too late."
"Yeah. Let's take Hayley as an example. She didn't end up well after a night with you. Or... both of you." Kol stopped as he saw his brothers' angry look. "Alright, that was the wrong example, but you know what I mean. She's just a human with superpowers. She wouldn't put up with all the pain that comes with being a Mikaelson."
"Yes? Then what would you say about Davina? Is she strong enough? How is she different from Y/N?"
"She was born here. From the beginning, she grew up among witches. Y/N has known our world for only 4 years. That's a short time even for a mortal."
"When exactly did you become the voice of reason in our family? I thought it was Elijah's responsibility."
"Well, someone has to, as long as he's enchanted by Petrova's charm. By the way, you're no better than him."
The hybrid was about to throw a dagger at the brazen original, but his phone rang. He gave his brother his most terrifying look and went out of the room, taking the call.
"Oh my god, I miraculously escaped this. I'm never playing bad cop in your plan again, Petrova!"
"Do you think it will really work?" Elijah asked, completely ignoring his brother's nervous outburst.
"Of course, honey. We all know that he hated when someone tried to control him or give him an order. He'll run straight to her and admit his feelings right after he deals with the new vampire group. Let's hope Y/N finally tells him how she really feels about him." Katerina stepped out of the shadows, embracing her fiancé before kissing him on the cheek (to Kol's groan of disgust).
"How did you know where he went?"
"I could convince Rebekah to turn some vampires against Klaus and Marcel to keep them busy for the rest of the afternoon. Which will give me enough time to implement plan B."
"Which is?"
"What kind of matchmaker would I be if I told you before anything really happened? Trust me, they will be officially together on the day of our wedding at the latest." she said, then kissed the smiling original passionately, not caring that they had company in the room.
"Ugh! That's too much, even for me. Get a room or something before another innocent soul sees that. Before I go. Are we still on for tonight?"
"Yes. Me and Rebekah will help you with this date, but we are not cooking. Only decorate."
"Thanks. Play nice and use protection!" he shouted as he left, causing his brother to blush. Katerina laughed, kissing the vampire's rosy cheek.
"Wanna help me set up your stupid brother with Y/N?" she inquired, wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
"Why exactly are you helping him? I thought you hated him?"
"Well, besides wanting to score points in your eyes and be able to point it out to him every chance I get, I think it would be nice to have Y/N with us permanently. She's a good friend."
"It's nice to see that you're starting to think not only about yourself but also about others around you." he replied, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Well, if you come upstairs with me, I can show you how much I think about others… pleasure."
"Are we alone?"
"Mhmm..." the original picked her up in bridal style, causing the younger vampire to laugh as he carried her up the stairs.

Y/N POV
Damon called me for the fourth time that day. I have been successful at ignoring him and playing with Hope. At least until Katherine didn't join us and took my phone to hang him up.
"What does he want? I thought your group fell apart?" she asked, putting my phone back in my pocket.
"Well... let's say we are on a break." I said, trying to get my hair out of Hope's grip to set the girl on the swing.
"Do they know where you are?"
"No. Actually, I only wrote to Bonnie to say that I'm safe and she doesn't have to worry about me."
Now that I think about it, none of them took an interest in my fate. Only Bonnie. On the other hand, it didn't bother me at all. I already had people who cared about me.
Damon called again, causing Kat to grimace in annoyance.
"Please, can I pick up your phone and tell him to fu..."
"Katherine! There're children here!" I cut her off before the curse reached Hope's ears. Klaus would kill me if his daughter's first words were "fuck".
"Atherine!" I froze in place, stopping swinging the girl. Now, I think he'd rather hear that her first word was curse than Katherine.
"Ha ha. You should see your face!" the woman laughed as she continued swinging Hope.
"But... how... when... What?" I mumbled, still in shock.
"Please, I taught her my name a long time ago. That's how I won Kol's collection of wine." I felt a stone fall from my heart. I was safe. "But this is the first time she told it in front of someone other than me and Kol, so... I don't think that Klaus knew." a mischievous smirk grew on her face. Well, I guess I'll be dead after all.
"No. Absolutely not. It'll break his heart if he hears that's her first word." I stopped the swing and crouched down to be at Hope's height. "C'mon Hope. Say daddy."
"Y/N... continue like that, and Klaus would rather listen to you calling him daddy than his own child." Katherine began to tease, making my face flush uninvitedly. If I was screwed anyway, why did she have to kick me down?
"Stop it. It's a serious situation. I took her for a walk, what should I do when we return and she starts calling your name?!"
"Well, if you try to use this daddy line on him..."
"Katherine!" I stood up and yelled at the laughing vampire.
"Atherine!" she cried, waving her arms happily.
"No sweetheart. Dad. Daddy. Dada. Dad." I knelt in front of the baby once again, practically begging her to help me in my unfair battle with amused Katherine.
"That's not how you teach a child."
"And how should I know that? I'm 20 with no siblings. Hope is the first child I care for. Thinking about that, I'm surprised that Klaus even gave her to me."
"From the first seconds of her life, this little one has had a 24-hour survival school. One afternoon with an inexperienced aunt wouldn't kill her." She stopped seeing how upset I was. She took my arm and made me look into her eyes. "Hey. Do not panic. Nothing happened. I will teach her, and Klaus will never know. You don't have to worry."
"Are you sure?" I asked, looking at her unconvincingly.
"I did it once. I can do it again. In the meantime, you can go pick up alcohol for the wedding from the bar across the street."
"Did you order alcohol from the bar? Doesn't your fiancé happen to have an age-old collection of all sorts of liquors?"
"Yes, but it is not an inexhaustible well. Kol insisted that we have to start restocking our supplies this year, and for every bottle we take, he makes us add new ones. It's not my fault that moron likes a special recipe that they only make at this particular bar."
"The Mikaelsons and their picky palates." I mumbled under my breath, kissing Hope's head before leaving her alone with aunt Katherine.
I breathed a sigh of relief as I left the playground. If Klaus finds his daughter with Katherine, at least she'll be to blame for the little girl shouting her name in fascination.
Or he'll have a heart attack. Maybe it's better to warn him.
Hello half-wolfie. I just want to let you know that the little princess is with Her Majesty. Don't get mad when you see them two - I have to go and take care of the wedding (which you're not helping me with at all, Mr. Best Man). I'm getting alcohol and rings, so you're responsible for flowers and food. Good luck! :)
Mr. Big Ego: I hope you know what you're doing. Also, if flowers and food aren't a woman's thing to do?
I'll turn a blind eye to this horrible sexist discrimination just because you're probably miles away and my magic won't reach you. Back to the topic. You're an artist, and you have a pretty good sense of style, so I believe you'll do just fine. Besides, you're quite handsome. Use your charm on the women, and they'll do the job for you.
Mr. Big Ego: Thanks for the advice, I'm just trying to use it in case you hadn't noticed. ;)
My God, are you getting senile blindness? I wrote that you're "quite handsome," not "incredible hot." You've got to find a desperate woman, so go and do your job, because I'm not going to do shitwork for you, LOVE. :-*
Mr. Big Ego: I'd rather read how you call me that under other circumstances... :-/
Take what they give you.
Mr. Big Ego: We both know I can get a lot more out of you. Like those tempting, little moans a couple days ago...
Don't you happen to have something urgent to do, your grace?
Mr. Big Ego: Nothing is more important than you (and Hope). Until we meet again, my love. <3
"Boyfriend?" woman's voice brought me back to earth. I looked around, realizing I was under the bar and blocking the entrance. I was annoyed that I couldn't stop smiling since I began writing to the hybrid.
"He wishes." I replied as I put my phone away and entered the bar.
I headed straight for the bar, hoping to settle this as soon as possible and get back to my girls. I loved Katherine, but the desire to spite Klaus might outweigh her good-natured offer. I wanted to make sure she didn't teach Hope anything terrible (like "Kol," for example).
Fortunately, the bar wasn't that crowded, so I was able to get to the barmaid without any problems.
"Hi, I'm Y/N. My friend ordered some of your drinks for her wedding. I promised her I would get them. It should be booked for Petrova or Mikaelson."
"Oh yes. I know. I am Cami. It's nice to finally meet you. After all the stories I've heard about you, I feel like we've known each other for a long time."
"Klaus' psychotherapist? I thought it was at least a full-time job." the blonde giggled.
"Let's say he's making progress."
"Which doesn't explain how you know me. Is Klaus talking about me all the time, again and again? I must be the real bane of his existence."
"Actually, he's very fond of you."
"Fond of me? In what universe?"
"Wanna have a drink?"
My first thought was to say no, but the barmaid poured me a drink before I could decline her offer.
Maybe one drink won't hurt me.
~•♤♤♤•~
"Have you never been in love?" Cami asked after serving me another tequila.
In those few hours (and probably 2 bottles used to make me a drink) the blonde went back to the topic of Klaus's untrue feelings for me. Forcing me, in a way, to talk about my love conquests. I was sure that they were not as diverse and interesting as hybrids.
"I was. Long time ago. We did all these stupid, cheesy things together. Stargazing in the forest on top of his car, swimming in the lake at night, dancing in the rain. He was my date at prom. We even won the king and queen contest. But the point is that my personal experience tells me that loving him wasn't worth it at all."
"And why is that?"
"Because my boyfriend—the man I'd been dating since we were ten years old—broke up with me via fucking SMS on my 18th birthday."
"Oh."
"Yes. Oh. And please don't give me any therapist speech about that: "He was the problem, not me." I got over him a long time ago." I said, taking a sip of my drink to avoid her sympathetic gaze.
"Then why don't you want to give a chance to someone new?" I mean, it's been proven that a new relationship and crush can aid in the healing of broken hearts."
"Well, I'm assuming you can't heal something that doesn't exist anymore. Also I don't need any new love in my life; I have my friends, and they are giving me enough of it."
"For now, but what will happen if one day you would like to have your own family? A person who'll choose you above everything else in their life?"
"Please, don't even tell me that Klaus fits into this "ideal" husband-to-be for me." the woman sighed, rubbing her forehead. I smiled victoriously, knowing that I had won over Klaus' therapist and that Katherine's little ruse had failed.
"To be honest, I shouldn't do that, but desperate times and all of that." the blonde took out a small dictaphone from her pocket and played a recording after a few clicks. "A week before Elijah and Katherine's engagement party."
"All right. Let's talk about something else. How do you feel about your brother getting married to Katherine?"
"Stupid question. Of course I'm happy for him. Even if his partner leaves much to be desired."
"Well, I've heard something different."
"And what exactly?"
"That you're grumpier than usual and growl at every poor soul around you. There are also many stories in the city about you. You've gone mad because you're secretly in love with Katherine, and that's why you don't want them to get married. But my personal favorite is that you tried to steal the ring from Elijah and sell it on Amazon."
"I admit I was more… moody in the passing days, but all is well now. I'm really happy for them. Very."
"Are you sure your mood swings have nothing to do with Y/N?"
"Veto."
"Come on. We need to finally talk about her. It's the perfect time."
"You're not going to let this topic go, are you?"
"Not as long as she is an important person in your life. Rebekah told me she had an impact on you. You tried to be a better man for her! I thought only Hope had that power over you."
"Do not say that. She'd be overjoyed to learn she has any power over me."
"Would it be wrong if she listened to how important she is to you?"
"Y/N and I are… complicated. We actually never say nice things to each other. I don't even know why Rebekah told you about her."
"Your sister said you loved her. You still do. Even after a year without receiving a single call, text, or email from her. I also saw her portraits in your art room. And pencil sketches. Maybe even some sculptures…"
"I see what you're saying, but it's not my fault she's… unimaginably, incredibly beautiful. I'm just admiring her charm. As an artist, it's my duty to try to capture the depths of her eyes. Or her sweet smile when she is laughing at stupid little things she admires. That's true. I have many pictures of her, because despite my tireless efforts, I have not succeeded in presenting her beauty in a proper way. There are no paints that match the color of her eyes and hair, not even talking about her probably soft, delicate skin. No canvas big enough for her portrait will ever make me forget her or stop imagining her every time I close my eyes. She is always in my darkest nightmares or in my sweetest dreams. Every single day, she steals my thoughts, so that sometimes I find myself thinking that she is here, chasing me around my own city to make me want her more than I already do. I'm disgusted at how easily I succumbed to the magic of her charm. And the worst part is that she didn't even have to use her power to make me enchanted with herself. It looks like she has to mess with me even when she isn't around."
"I think it's enough." she said, pausing. I stared at the recorder for a good few minutes, analyzing what I had just heard. "I'll leave you with that for a while and see if Steve has already sent you crates of alcohol. Take your time."
I took a sip of my tequila. It's impossible for him to have feelings for me, right? He has a child, a city to rule, and I… I'm only 20. I don't have so much on my mind, and I wouldn't find myself in a life like his. It's something else to spend here a month than… half of my life. And even if I wanted to be with him (assuming we really love each other), I would have to become a vampire.
As if my life wasn't already complicated enough without knowing the hybrid's supposed feelings for me.
At least it can't get any worse.
"Y/N? Is that you?" Fuck. I take that back.
"Tom." I said after I turned to the place where his voice had come from. My worst fears came true.
"It's you."
"Yeah. It's me." I replied, not sharing his delight and amazement. Meeting my ex was the last thing I wanted to do after hearing Camille's recording. As if I didn't have a mess in my head anyway.
"It's good to see you."
"You don't have to lie." I replied, turning back to the bar. Not trusting his words even a little bit.
"I'm not. To be honest I… I missed you."
"What?" I asked, eyeing him properly for almost two years.
He has changed. His dark hair, which was always combed and slicked back, was tousled in all directions, adding charm and feistiness to him. He had a slight stubble on his face, and judging by the obvious fatigue on his face, life had not been kind to him either.
"Can we go somewhere private and... you know, talk?" he asked tentatively, trying to grab my hand, but I pulled away from him.
"I'm sorry, but you're like, two bloody years late. We have nothing to talk about." I got up, intending to leave the bar as soon as it was possible, so I could free myself from him. What happened in the past should remain in the past. There was no point in re-entering the same river.
"Y/N! Wait a second, please! I know I screwed up then, but please, let me at least tell you why I had to do what I've done."
"The thing is... I don't care about it, Thomas. You abandoned me in the darkest, most difficult period of my life, when I desperately needed someone to care for me, without so much as a blink of your eye. You didn't have to explain this then, so I don't want to listen to it right now."
"I did it for your safety!"
"My safety?! Please spare me that pathetic excuse. You had two years to come up with something really good, and you went with: "I did it for your safety."
"Two years ago I turned to vampire, Y/N. Ripper to be precise."
"What? But who turned you? Damon?" I asked in shock, not believing that my sweet, darling Thomas could ever turn into one of them.
"I had an accident that was quite dangerous. I was on the edge of life, so they gave me vampire blood in the hospital to help me heal, but… it didn't go right. I woke up hours ago with that uncontrollable hunger. I could only think about human blood. I was too scared to get close to you or anyone else. Damon helped me get out of town, he sent me here so I could learn how to control myself."
"He didn't tell me anything. Not even a little word. And he had known all along when he saw me crying on his brother's shoulder." if I was angry at Damon before, I am mad as hell at him now. This son of a bitch didn't deserve any help from me.
"I'm so sorry, Y/N. I tought it'd be easier for you to forget about me if I... broke your heart."
"Do not flatter yourself. It takes so much more to break it. You weren't even close enough."
"I should know. You've always been the strongest person I've ever met."
"Don't act like you still care about me." I growled, moving backward with each step he took towards me, until I hit the wall behind me.
"Y/N. I have no idea what you've been through these two years, but all I know is that when I was gone, all I could find myself thinking about—all I could remind myself of my old life—was you and our time together. I've never stopped loving you, Y/N. I don't think I could ever do. But I had to leave. Otherwise, I could hurt you. Only here could I learn to control myself and my primal hunger for blood. The mere fact that somehow, from all places in the world, you found yourself here proves that we are meant for each other."
"Stop it. You can't just show up after a year and tell me all of this as if nothing happened. You left me. You break up with me by fucking SMS. Did you even know how it hurt me? You, of all people, promised me that we... we would last forever. And I believed you. I don't think I could ever trust you again."
"I know, honey. I know I fucked up, but all I can do right now is prove to you that I would never, ever leave you and hurt you like this again. Just give us one more chance."
"And what if I have someone? What if I've already found the one man who would never even consider hurting me? Who would rather tear the world apart than see me in pain?" I asked, staring hard into his eyes.
"Do you truly have that someone, honey?" he replied, rubbing a tear from my cheek with his thumb that had unknowingly flown from my eye.
"I... I..." I really would. But I don't know if I'll ever be able to tell him what I really want.
Before I could answer him, the dark-haired man came closer to me and connected our lips in a tender, longing kiss. I shivered as, for no reason, I felt watched.
What was truly terrifying to me was that I didn't feel anything but guilty. But I shouldn't be... right? I was a free, single woman.
Then why did I feel like I was doing something wrong? Why didn't I have any butterflies around my first love? Why all I could think about was how much better Klaus' lips would be on mine?
"Please, don't give up on us." he said, resting his brow on mine.
"Tommy I... I..." Why didn't I feel anything?
"Y/N? Are you okay?" I was almost glad to hear Camille's confused, worried voice. She must have noticed my red eyes from crying and possibly my makeup smudged by tears.
"Yes. Thomas was leaving, right?"
"Here. If you changed your mind." he slipped a piece of paper into my hand and kissed my forehead before obediently leaving the bar.
"Who was that guy? Does he hurt you? Should I call…"
"No! There's no need. Tom would never hurt me. Not deliberately." I cut her off before she could say HIS name. I didn't need another dose of confusion in my head.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes, I will come home. I think that's enough excitement for one day."
"Okay. I'll call you tomorrow. Just to check if everything is fine."
"There's no need." I responded, unaccustomed to the other's concern about me.
"You know I'm a good friend too. Not just a pseudo-therapist for a bloodthirsty millennial vampire." I smiled involuntarily, feeling some of my overwhelming emotion disappear after her little joke.
"I'll remember that for next time."
"Bye Y/N! It was nice to finally meet you." I waved to her as I crossed the exit from the bar.
As I turned to head towards the mansion, I noticed someone hiding in the darkness and staring at the bar's window. Someone who was as broken as I never imagined he could be.
Tumblr media
Shit. He saw us. But why did I care?
And then, when our eyes met, I knew that my decision about me and Thomas would be much harder than I had previously thought. And it was at this point in our game that Klaus and I had to finally define who we had to be to each other. It would be the hardest choice of my life.
A terrible (but true) thought crossed my mind.
I'm a freaking Elena Gilbert.

“I am so done with you, Hope.”
The storm your feet were causing against the wood of the compound reached your family's sensitive ears quickly.
“Oh, you're done with me?” Your sister followed your harsh steps, earning a glare from you that you didn't need to look back at her for her to see it. “Is there anything else you'd like to tell me? Like how stupid I am for making a decision? Isn't that what you always say anyway?”
“And you still don't listen!”
Rebekah was the first one to protest from the living room where a bunch of compelled men were being ordered around to redecorate the place.
“Girls, pitch it down. I'm trying to do some redecorating here,” her unhelpful jab was promptly ignored as you yanked the door open, the sound echoing through the room. “Hey!” Rebekah stared at your angry breeze in indignation. “Do not ignore me—”
“Come back. We're not done talking.”
Then, just as you were in the middle of the street, you went back inside the compound. Or rather, pulled back by an invisible force.
Did Hope just used her magic on you? Did she just—
“Say it. Say what you think. What you have always thought about me. Go ahead.”
“Hope.” Warned Elijah.
Your eyes narrowed into slits as your fists clenched, “Do not manhandle me with your stupid magic, Hope—”
“What on Earth is going on here?” Kol peaked below from the bannister. He could hear the screaming from ten miles away and he was trying to take a nap for goodness sake. “I thought we didn't have children in this family anymore? You know,” he starts to descend the stairs slowly. “It was the best day of my entire life when you both quit the shrieking phase—”
“Then don't turn your back on me when I'm speaking.” Hope said, completely ignoring Kol's irrelevant input in your argument.
“You sound just like Dad. Maybe that's why you bond so well. The reckless and the paranoid.”
Hope scoffed.
“Is that jealousy I hear? What, the second child couldn't accept the scrapes of left-over love?”
Finn arrived in the living room just as your whole demeanor switched from angry to numb in less than a second. The workers had vanished, Rebekah's doing because she read the situation previous to the outburst.
And she did not want an outburst. Less alone from you, a witch-in-learning since your powers had gotten out of hand due to the Mikaelson's last inconvenience — Lucian Castle.
He had done a number on you. The magic that used to run free and controlled through your fingers now felt like electric currents burning inside your veins. Not in a good way. Long story short, your abilities were in time-out. Until your emotions take over and you lose control.
Which was what was happening in that moment.
“Hope,” Rebekah walked towards your pair carefully as Kol and Finn watched from afar. “That's enough. Why don't you take a walk—”
“Why do you never stay on my side?” Hope snapped at her aunt, finally breaking your stare.
Rebekah let out a sigh, “I'm not taking any sides here. You both have got to take a minute and discuss this later.”
You could feel the slight twitch on the tip of your fingers.
“Do you remember how many people I've lost because of her, Aunt Beks?” You asked, the corner of your lips raising. Hope gave you a roll of eyes. “Some by choice, because I chose her above anyone else. Blood is thicker than water, right? Then, some because they were collateral damage. Why? Because the fucking world revolves around Hope Mikaelson?”
Hope's expression morphs into annoyance, “It was not my fault they died!”
“Of course, not. Who would've thought there would be consequences for your actions, Hope?”
“You're unbeleavible. You told me it wasn't my fault. You!”
“Well, I lied!” You marveled, taking a step foward as anger seeped within your body. “I lied when I said that it wasn't your fault. I lied when I covered for you all of those times. In fact, I lied when I said I'd always be on your side. I'm so done with your selfishness, Hope. Because although you're my sister, you've hurt me more than any other being has hurt me!”
A warm hand attempt to tug you a few steps back. You barely acknowledge it.
“I never asked you to do anything, you've made your own choices. Don't come blame me for it. If the people you care about were hurt, that's on you. Not me.”
“Enough.”
Your father's voice caused the both of you to freeze in your spot. Hope shoulders sagged as she let out a huff.
“She started it. I'm just telling the truth.”
“Shut up, Hope,” you exclaimed in exasperation. Your patience wearing thin. Everyone could feel your powers praying to be unleashed.
“I said enough!” Klaus's tone might have been final but your argument was far from the end.
Elijah said your name when he noticed the your eyes darkening lightly.
“You know what?” Hope took a few steps towards you. She, too, could feel your magic and a little sly smile grew in the corner of her lips. “If it weren't for you, mom might still be here,” even though she whispered, every vampire heard the affirmation and tensed.
They should've acted sooner. But now it had gone too far.
Just as she had moved you like a marionette previously, you raised your hand and threw her body next to the closest wall. The force created a ruptured in the outline of your sister, who let out a groan.
Your name was called in warning. You couldn't hear if it was your Dad or one of your uncles. You knew it wasn't Rebekah because she was already helping her dear niece out of the mess you made.
Too late.
“Say it again.”
Before she could use her own magic, you used your vampire speed to push Rebekah away and grab your older sister by the neck.
“Go on, Hope,” you shoved her in the adjacent wall. Why did no one was trying to stop you? Well. They were busy being held thrown in different areas of the house by your out-of-control stupor. “Tell me how I'm to blame for her death. Tell me how I have scrapes of our family's love. You got it all first, didn't you? I arrived to take it away? Is that what you thought? Is that what I am? A leftover?”
Hope's groans of pain didn't phaze your unstoppable strength, nor did her beaten-up face or her bleeding nose. You smirked upon seeing the glint of annoyance in her bright blue eyes. The color shifting towards yellow slightly. You were practically taunting her wolf.
“A leftover daughter, right, Dad?” the jab directed at your father wasn't unnoticed. “I'm sure he'd agree with you on that, sis.”
“Bitch.” Hope let out a sneer and kicked you on the stomach.
“For fuck's sake!” Kol used his vampire speed to push Hope out of your reach as Finn grabbed you by the shoulders. “That's enough. Both of you, stop.”
Ripping out a piece of a chair, you grabbed the pointed wood and stuck in his heart. His shocked expression didn't brought guilt to your chest, not when anger was still the bigger emotion gripping you wholly. You created an invisible barrier to keep anyone but Hope away. And when your sister is about to sink her hybrid teeth into your arm, you lift her from the ground with your powers.
You drowned out all the protests and focused on squeezing her neck with your mind.
“I'm so sick of you.” She struggled to breath. “I'm sick of being left out. I'm sick of being on the receiving end of your problems. I wish you weren't my sister!”
It was all too fast. Hope's body was released and she fell to the floor like a ragdoll. You walked slowly towards her. She wasn't completely weak, just recovering from being cut out of breath for a few minutes. At any moment, she could surprise you with the little souvenir of a deadly warewolf bite, one you didn't have the cure of because your warewolf gene was never activated.
You weren't scared of her. No. You didn't feel anything. Just frustration. All anger anger anger anger.
As your hand sinked into her chest and she screamed out in agony, satisfaction slipped through your fingers. Your sister's blood in your hands may have been the prettiest art you had seen till today.
Then, a gasp echoed throughout the room.
You blinked in surprise as you felt a cold, thin metal etched into your back. The stinging of the blade made you let go of your sister's heart and stumble back. Your vision blurring slightly.
“Shh, shh, it's okay,” your dad's arms were the ones you fell into as you moaned in pain. “You'll be fine.”
“What are you doing?!” Rebekah exclaimed. “Pull the dagger out, Nik. Now!”
“This is your daughter, Niklaus!” Finn took her side as he helped Kol to his feet. He had been the one to take out the stake out of his chest.
Hope stared at your unconscious body as her own healed. It was turning gray little by little, the blood from her chest painted in both of your hands. The lifeless expression should've brought her relief. It did for a glimpse of second. Then the guilt arrived like a bucket of cold water.
She didn't particularly like you at that moment. She wanted you dead, quiet, unmoving. But the images of your daggered family through decades flashed in her mind. Their unfamiliarity with reality. Their numbness with life all together.
Hope didn't want that for you. You were her sister. Even if you tried to kill each other occasionally, even if she hates you some times.
It was her fault.
“Dad,” she croaked out, “Dad, pull it out,” her tone had an edge of desperation, the situation sinking in.
Has it gotten that bad that their father thought this would be the only solution? “Dad.”
“We have to find a way to control her.” He said calmly, caressing a few strands out of your bloodied face.
“You're not protecting her like this, Niklaus. You know this isn't what this is.” Elijah attempted to step closer. “We can handle the matter,”
“Don't say that.” Kol gazed up at him with bitterness. “Don't call my niece a matter because you can't admit the truth.” He didn't care that you had just literally stabbed him through his chest. You weren't aware of your surroundings, of what you were doing. He knew how that feels like. Not being in control was an all-too-familiar place he had been before. “We can help her without inflicting pain. She's struggling. She was tortured, Nik. The girl is traumatized. Do you think it will help if you keep her away for— what, how long this time? Three, seven years? She's your daughter. Snap out of it.”
“She'll regret you for the rest of her life if you do this.” Rebekah let out. Everyone turned to her. “I almost did.”
Klaus's eyes flickered to your peaceful demeanor for a moment, hand pressed against your cheek softly. He looked up at Hope, her desperate matching blue irises silently begging him.
A leftover daughter, right, Dad? Had he made you feel like that? He couldn't tell. Ever since Hayley died, he crawled into a wheel of uncertainty. He was buried underneath the earth of mistakes and enemies he had acquired. His own mind being the mastermind of it all.
One thing he was sure, the two of you were always and would always be equal in his heart. He'd have to make sure that you understood that. The last thing he could do as he lived was fail you.
Hayley would be so disappointed.
Just like Kol requested him to, he snapped out of it. The fear of facing your uncontrolled abilities materialised in the image of numbness in your eyes. He couldn't lose you. And he wouldn't. But his brother was right, inserting a dagger in your heart wouldn't make the situation better.
He had to learn from his mistakes at some point.
Your gasp as you returned to reality sent guilt right into his chest. Hope cradled your body in an embrace, mumbling I'm sorry's repeatedly. Everybody watched in expectation of your reaction. The furrow in your eyebrows as you studied your surroundings were a small indication that you were coming back.
Blinking slowly, you looked down at your sister with widened eyes, “Did I hurt you?” the question slipped as you noticed the blood in her clothes and the hole in her blouse.
Hope's tear-stricken expression switched to an amused one, “What do you think?” then, she started crying again. “I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say those things, I—”
The pang in your head made you wince slightly. The memories coming back.
You squeezed her arm, shaking your head, “It's fine. I don't know why I lost it. I'm sorry.” a frown etched into your forehead. “I didn't mean it, Hope.”
Meeting your eyes, she knew what you were talking about, “No, I am. I shouldn't have pushed you. You were right. I'm reckless and irresponsible and paranoid and I never put your first. I'm sorry. I love you, I'll try, okay? I never meant to hurt you.”
You sighed, a sad smile pulling at your lips, “Yeah, okay. I love you too.”
She hugged you again and a grimace twitched your face, “Uh, you've got blood all over you, can you...”
“And whose fault is that? That was my favourite blouse!”
“That was not your favourite blouse. Your favourite is a red one with a sweetheart neckline—”
“And they're back.” Kol rolled his eyes fondly, leaving to go back to his room. He needed to get you form his bloody clothes, thanks to you.
“Should we stay?” Finn queried Elijah, watching you bicker over a blouse. Elijah smiled faintly.
“No. It's all dealt with.” His eyes caught his half brother's across the room before he and Finn left. Get rid of the dagger or I'll get rid of you. He knew Klaus could read his mind — not literally — as no one else were able to do. He hoped he would at least listen to this advice.
Or else.
“Did you dagger me?”
He blinked caught of guard by your sudden appearance in front of him. Face emotionless.
Hope and Rebekah had left as well. Probably understanding that you need to talk privately.
“I did.” He said, eyes softening. “Sweetheart, I—” he was cut off by your arms wrapping around him in an awkward movement.
You weren't the closest pair of father and daughter out there. You've had your disagreements, there was a lot in which the both of you were different. Hayley was the one that you clinged to. Ever since you were a child. He knew you missed her warmth, her words, her. One could never move on fully after losing a mother. It's heart-wrecking. If he had any say on it, he would've never let Hayley go. He'd surrender in a heartbeat.
“Thanks for bringing me back, Dad.”
Klaus let out a shaky breath, caressing the back of your neck. And still, with Hayley gone, there was so much of you that brought her back constantly. Your eyes. Your compassion, mostly. “Do not thank me. I shouldn't have done that. It was wrong. Once again I have let myself be taken my selfish reasons. Sweetheart,” he cupped your cheeks, and you looked up at him. “I'm sorry.” That was the sentence Klaus found more difficult in saying out loud. This turned on his back quickly when you and Hope were born. It wasn't a matter of ego, anymore. It was about not hurting you the way he had been hurt by the people that gave him life. He'd rather die than disapoint his daughters. “If you need time away, I understand. That was wrong—”
“Will you let me speak or I'm supposed to stay quiet the whole time?”
Klaus snapped his mouth shut.
You smiled, “Alright. Yes, that was wrong and selfish. But so was I. I was out of me, Dad. Honestly, I don't know what would have happened if you hadn't done that. Hope, she— I can't even think—”
“Don't think. Nothing bad happened.”
“It might have!” You cried out. “I'm not okay. I don't know how to be okay. And I don't want to hurt anyone else in this process. What if the next time I snap it's you? Or uncle Elijah? Or anyone else?”
Klaus pressed a kiss against your forehead and brought you closer again, your shoulders slumped as you let you a sob. “I'm scared, Dad.”
“I know, I know.” He whispered, tightening his hold on you so you would calm down. “We'll get you help. You've been hurt, sweetheart. It's not going to be easy, it never is. But you'll get better. We'll be there.” He paused. “But first and foremost, don't ever think you are not loved by me. Or any of us. Is that clear? You come first. You always have and you always will. You and Hope.”
Hayley would've worded it out better.
You nodded weekly, averting his eyes.
“I'm going to make sure you don't feel like that anymore, alright?” He tipped your chin so you would meet his eyes. “You're not alone, honey,” the sniffles slipped from you against your will and soon the tears arrived. He dried one by one to then cradle your head against his chest.
Letting out a shaky breath, you buried your face deep into his shoulder. You were tired, but your family could give you strength. Even your mother — especially your mother — who might not be present but she was still there. You could feel it.
Your father smiled down at your bloodshot features, bopping your nose which made you crack a laugh. “Always and forever,” he whispered.
A promise.
“Always and forever,” you mumbled back, smiling in response.

the best day | hayley marshall
- based off ‘the best day’ by taylor swift
SUMMARY: on the fourth year anniversary of your moms death you remember all the good moments ( and some of the bad ) you had with her.
relationship: hayley marshall x daughter!reader & minor lizzie saltzman x reader
warning: bullying, cursing(?)
request?: no
Tumblr media
At five years old, your mom told you about the story of vampire, witches and werewolves. It was kid proofed and she would go into more detail when you were older but you had to know this stuff because your parents were hybrids and your aunts and uncles were the original family.
You watched her explain it to you and your twin sister hope in her gentle and kind voice. You couldn’t help but feel anxious as she explained that werewolves were real. Like in little red riding-hood. But your mom wasn’t scared, she was brave. And you wanted to be like her. Because she was the best person you knew.
You and Hope had been attending the salvatore boarding school since you were seven. And you guys never really clicked with anyone. It’s not like you didn’t try — it’s just that being the tribrid freaks didn’t exactly help out.
Now in your teen years, thirteen to be exact, the girls attending the school were mean. especially the headmasters daughters, lizzie and josie.
“No wonder your daddy didn’t stick around, he couldn’t resist his murder urges long enough to be a father” Some kid in class, you think her name is alyssa, yelled out pointing to the title of the book on everyone’s desk klaus mikaelson the great evil
feeling tears weld up in your eyes you stood up, lizzie saltzman watched hesitantly before speaking out her own hurtful words “Yeah i mean, who would want hope and y/n as their kids anyways?”
It stung, it really did. You didn’t know why Lizzie and Josie suddenly started jumping at yours and your sisters throats. It started happening after some fire in hopes room. But it hurt, You used to really like the blonde. Imagining what it would be like if you and hope took up the offer to be friends with her when you first arrived.
You ran out of the classroom and into your dorm. Putting up a barrier spell and crying on your floor. After two hours of refusing to leave your room — even when headmistress caroline forbes knocked and asked you if you wanted to talk about it. You heard a familiar knock and the kind voice of your mother call out “Sweetie, Do you mind coming out?” headmistress forbes must have called her.
You wiped your tears and opened the door “Mommy” You cried and gave her a hug. She rubbed your back for ten minutes until you calmed down. Then told you to follow her.
You spent the day at mystic grill for lunch, and then shopping, then some icecream and to finish the day off — you went on a walk around mystic falls.
When your mom gave you the tightest hug ever and told you to call her if you needed anything — no matter how small, you couldn’t even remember who alyssa chang and lizzie saltzman were.
You had the best day with your mom today.
At fifteen years old, You watched with power-disabling chains on your wrist as someone you knew as your uncle elijah stabbed your father “Elijah” Your mom whispered out. But he didn’t help her. He walked over to you and grabbed you as he saw you run towards your mom. She closed her eyes for a second before looking between you and hope. Mouthing ‘I love you’ before pulling greta’s hand out of her chest — snapping off gretas daylight ring finger and using her vampire speed to speed out the door. You watched as your mom light up in flames as your dad screamed and your uncle elijah, the man she loved released you. You fell to your knees and ran over to your moms burning body screaming something along the lines of mom! don’t leave me, i still need you . Your dad grabbed you before you could touch her burning body.
That was the worst day of your life
Now, At nineteen after defeating a god with the help of people you thought you never be friends with. Holding the hand of the person you thought would never such as breathe near you willingly — You stand infront of the tree that had carved in hayley marshall
“I’ll miss you forever mom” You whisper, tracing the writing with your fingers before wiping the tear that fell. You felt a hand on your back and looked up to face your girlfriend, lizzie saltzman.
She pulled you in for a hug as you sobbed into her shoulder. You would miss your mom forever, Just as your sister hope will. But your mom loved you, you know that. So that’s why you chose to celebrate her life.
“I love you mom” You whisper quietly.

you stumbled out of bed, wiping the sleep from your eyes as you walked into the kitchen. in desperate need of coffee, you grabbed an empty mug, pouring in the hot, caffeinated liquid to the brim. you let the sweet aroma fill your nostrils, sensing each note of hazelnut and vanilla as you let yourself take a sip.
now feeling more awake, you made your way over to hayley, who was standing at the doorway of your niece's bedroom. when she heard your footsteps approaching, she looked over her shoulder and smiled at you when she met your gaze.
"she still sleeping?" you asked, leaning on the opposite side of the doorway beside your sister.
"yup. she was up all night, asking questions about her father. i think she was a little nervous about the idea of meeting him. i told her that you would tell her anything she wanted if she agreed to go to bed."
"always the little troublemaker, just like her mom," you smirked, shaking your head as you took another sip from your mug.
hayley rolled her eyes playfully, but before she could respond, you both heard the honk of a car horn coming from outside your shared house.
"that's mary. would you mind waking hope up and getting her ready while i get her settled in?"
"i'll get right on it."
hayley squeezed your shoulder in a silent 'thank you' before making her way outside to meet mary. you, on the other hand, made your way to hope's bed and took a seat beside her sleeping form.
"time to wake up, sleepyhead," you cooed as you rubbed hope's back soothingly. she began to ease out of her slumber, eyes slowly peeling open so you could get a look at her blue orbs. the very ones that reminded you so much of her father.
"morning," hope mumbled, turning around to face you.
"good morning, gorgeous. you sleep okay?"
"yeah, i'm still a bit tired, though," she responded, her small fists rubbing her eyes as she sat up.
"i bet. i heard you were up pretty late, asking questions about a certain someone," you smiled at her, smoothing her hair from her eyes.
hope's face lit up as she remembered what she wanted to ask you.
"yeah, mom said you would talk to me about dad before you guys leave to go save him."
"i'll tell you anything you wanna know, love bug. what's up?"
hope looked down at her hands in her lap nervously before she looked back up at you, "i guess i just wanna know if he'll be proud of me. proud to know me."
your heart ached with adoration for your niece. "come here," you said, pulling her into your lap. "hope, you are so beautiful, kind, and full of light. you're insanely smart, and you amaze me every day, and i have no doubt in my mind that you are everything and more than your father could have ever dreamed of in a daughter. you're going to knock his socks off, i promise."
"you think so?" she asked, blue eyes hopeful as they looked to you for reassurance.
"i know so, baby girl. you're going to blow him away."
she smiled, throwing her little arms around your neck and pulling you into a hug. you returned her tight embrace, your mind wandering into the memories of klaus's arms pulling you close to him.
it had been difficult, leaving klaus behind in new orleans with marcel. but being able to raise hope alongside your sister gave you comfort because it was as if you got to carry a piece of him everywhere the three of you went. it was the closest you'd ever gotten to feeling him there with you over the past five years of his captivity.
"okay, c'mon. your grandma mary's here, and i'm supposed to be getting you ready."
"and then you guys are going to go save dad?" hope questioned, excitement bleeding through her wide grin.
"and then we're going to go save your dad. i promise."
-
after making the journey to find the last remaining wolf of the malraux pack and extracting her venom, you and hayley finally woke freya from her five year-long slumber.
“freya!”
“are you okay?” you asked, pulling her into a hug after hayley did the same.
“yes. did you get everything i asked for?” hayley nods in return, and freya sighs in relief. “okay, then i need to get started. if i can’t use all of these things to concoct a cure, then elijah and kol are going to die. we don’t have much time.”
as freya scrambles to begin making the cure, hayley’s vampire-hearing picks up on intruders entering the warehouse.
“guys, we’ve got company.”
“then let’s go and take care of it,” you replied, ready for whatever was about to go down.
"let's do this."
you and your sister worked tirelessly, fighting off the enemies that were sent to track the two of you and keelin down. you’d both turned into your wolf forms, fending off your attackers as they came at you. it was gruelling, but there was nothing the two of you wouldn’t do to protect your family. it was the most important thing to you both.
“you want more?" hayley voiced out to your opponents. the two of you stood there, ready to take on anyone else that came at you, when suddenly, bodies started dropping all around you. your heads whipped around at the sounds of the vampires collapsing onto the ground. you turned to look at hayley, whose face transformed from confusion to utter relief. you'd recognize that look on her face anywhere.
elijah.
he popped up behind the two of you, draping his suit jacket over hayley's shoulders and doing the same to you with his button-up shirt.
you clutched the fabric around your body, watching as your sister reunited with her love. she kissed him, holding him close before she wrapped her arms around him, drowning in his long-awaited embrace.
you smiled, happy that hayley could finally be with elijah after five years. however, you couldn't help but envy her. all you wanted more than anything was to feel klaus hold you again. to stroke your hair soothingly as he whispered sweet nothings into your ear, assuring you that you were safe. but klaus wasn't there, and he couldn't pull you close. he couldn't kiss the top of your head or cup your face as he spoke to you comfortingly. not just yet.
-
reunited with the four out of five living mikaelsons, you all concocted a plan to rescue your lover once and for all. elijah and rebekah had gone to josh's loft, and the rest of you went to the bell tower so freya could perform a locator spell on klaus.
"was it absolutely necessary that you perform the spell here where marcel or one of his men could find us?" kol questioned.
"yes. when i first moved to new orleans, i embedded my magic here. i made this place my own."
"all the more reason to let freya do her magic. we can leave as soon as he save klaus." hayley responded.
"kol, just relax and let freya do her thing. i'm not leaving without klaus." you spoke, turning back to freya.
_
you, elijah, freya and hayley reach the abattoir, underground as you all searched for klaus.
your heart beat out of your chest in anticipation as you tried your best to track down the love of your life. eventually, you all found klaus, and freya stated that it would take time for her to break through the previously-cast spell. hayley allowed freya to channel her power in hopes of breaking klaus free without taking too long.
elijah's vamp-hearing picked up on marcel entering the compound, and he advised freya to keep working on saving klaus, no matter what, before flashing out of there. freya nodded, and you tried to help her as best you could from beyond the spell barrier.
"klaus? c'mon, my love. wake up. we're here," you pleaded over freya's chanting.
hayley followed elijah after hearing him arguing with marcel while you and freya tried everything to wake klaus up. miraculously, klaus awakened as things began to turn sour between elijah, hayley and marcel.
"oh, thank god," you breathed, stroking his cheek gently as he stood up with you and freya. he smiled at you before you all turned your attention to the drama brewing upstairs.
hayley and elijah yelled back and forth with marcel before klaus used the tunde blade to stab marcel. you all fled as quickly as you could, your arm supporting klaus as you zoomed through the tunnel to meet rebekah and kol. rebekah hugged her brother tightly, grateful for his safety.
"we have to go. marcel is right behind us," hayley said, motioning with her hand for all of you to hurry up.
"too late. i'm already here," marcel replied, shocking you all.
eventually, the mikaelson siblings managed to convince marcel to let them flee new orleans, and you all left with your limbs intact. you all piled into the car and made your way over to your and hayley's safe house. the drive was comfortably silent, your hands never leaving klaus's body as you held him close. you were in utter disbelief that he was in your arms again, and you never wanted to let go. not for anything, or anyone.
after the lot of you reached the safe house, everyone left to go inside the house and unwind while you and klaus remained inside.
"i'm so sorry, my love. i can't even begin to imagine what you've been through during these past five years," you said, your hands resting upon his chest as you looked up at him with pure sincerity.
"it doesn't matter. you've all made sacrifices for me throughout the years. it's only fair that i do the same in return for you."
"i missed you, you know that?" you spoke, running your fingers through his tousled curls softly. "i don't know how i've survived these past five years without kissing you."
"well, thankfully, that's all over. i'm never leaving you again," he replied, kissing your forehead as his hand cupped your cheek. "now, please tell me all about my daughter."
"klaus...she's wonderful. she's so intelligent and sweet. she's stunning, and she's the light of our lives. i can't wait for you to meet her."
"take me to her?" he asked, eyes glimmering with hope.
"i will. just let me hold you for a second. i need to remind myself that you're real," you said. you pulled him into your embrace, squeezing tightly as if he would disappear.
"i'm right here, sweetheart. i promise you i'm not going anywhere. never again."
you pulled away, smiling as you looked up at him.
"so...you wanna go inside and meet your daughter?"

You Don't Like Witches
Klaus Mikaelson X Fem!Reader Lucien Castle X Fem!Reader (mentioned.)
Word Count: 840
Requested: Anon
Request: Having a thing for Lucien but Klaus doesn't want you to be with him because he likes you but he doesn't want to admit it but his brother's and sister's know it cause it's obvious but reader witch doesn't see it. One shot the originals. :)
Tumblr media
You had known the Mikaelsons for a long time now, you had helped each of them with some kind of problem and when they found out about Hope, they called you to New Orleans to help confirm the pregnancy and then protect the baby.
You had been in New Orleans for months now and that was when Lucien showed up. Klaus had always been an interest of yours but he never seemed to be interested in you and due to his deep mistrust and dislike of witches you figured the best that you could get was friends and Lucien, he was offering you something more than friends.
Klaus seemed to pick up your attitude toward Lucien and decided to confront you about it “what is going on with you and Lucien?” He asked. “What are you talking about, there's nothing going on.” You answered “sorry there’s no relationship for you to manipulate.” “What are you talking about?” Klaus asked “that’s not why I’m asking but he is the enemy.” “You were an enemy once…” You reminded him and he narrowed his eyes on you. “And yet you didn’t try to jump into my bed.” Klaus sneered. “‘M not trying to jump into his bed.” You said through gritted teeth as you finally turned to look at him, his arms were crossed over his chest and you decided that this conversation was going to get you nowhere so instead you walked towards the courtyard where the others had been waiting and likely listening in.
Klaus watched you walk away and go straight to Lucien “nicely handled brother.” Elijah said as he walked up to him. “Enough.” Klaus warned him. “If you want to keep her then you have to tell her otherwise he’ll get her.” Elijah said. “He’s right, you know… She really likes you, otherwise she wouldn’t still be here, no witch has put up with you for this long.” Kol reminded him and he glared at the both of them before looking back down at you, you were walking over to greet Hayley who was holding Hope, the little girl leaned over immediately to fall into your arms and you accepted the affection readily. “Plus she’s good with your daughter, surely that’s worth something.” Kol added as he walked away from his clueless older brother to see his niece.
“Why is your brother burning a hole into the back of my head?” You asked as Kol came to stand next to you. “He’s working something out.” Kol answered. “Does it involve the 100 different ways that he could kill me?” You asked. “Actually quite the opposite.” Kol assured you as he glanced behind you at Klaus, you assumed though you would never turn to look at him. “He’s really staring, did you do something?” Hayley asked. “Apparently he doesn’t like it when I talk to other people.” You answered. “That’s not surprising, he is territorial.” Hayley shrugged “I think it’s the wolf part.” “Stop that.” You ordered “he’s not territorial, he just doesn’t want me talking to the enemy.” “The enemy he lets in his house? Not much of a threat.” She smirked and you narrowed your eyes at her. “Both of you stop, both of them can hear you.” You reminded them and they both looked at you. “I know.” They both said at the same time.
You were putting Hope down for the night after getting her to go to sleep while Klaus dealt with the clean up for the day. “She’s asleep?” Klaus asked as he appeared at the door. “Yeah she’s just fallen asleep.” You answered as you pulled the covers up over her and made sure that her favourite teddy was within reach. “Can I have a word?” He asked and you looked at him and nodded. “Sure.” You answered “as long as you're going to talk to me and reprimand me for the company I keep.” “I wanted to apologise, I should not have told you what friends you can have.” He said and you raised an eyebrow. “You never apologise are you sick or something? Can hybrids even get sick?” You asked walking forward until you were close enough to put your hand on his forehead. Klaus rolled his eyes and caught your wrist pulling you closer while directing your hand away from his head. “Just accept the apology.” He ordered. “Or..?” You asked. “Or I’ll have to try something a little more convincing, little witch.” He answered moving closer. “More convincing?” You asked, he smirked as he leaned forward pressing a kiss to your lips, it was quick, you assumed he was teasing but you followed his lips all the same. “Give me a chance to prove that I can give you everything that you want and more.” He pleaded. “You actually want to do that?” You asked. “Why wouldn’t I?” He asked. “You don’t like witches.” You frowned. “I like some of them, you are one of them.” He smiled, pressing a kiss to your temple as you hugged him.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A sudden gust of wind whips loose strands of hair across her face as she picks at her short nails, her braided hair flies in the air before once again settling on her back as her brother, Raphael, tucks his wings away, his grey wing blending into the dead sky.
"He's not here then." She states, not looking away from her nails.
She hears Raphael sigh, "No, he isn't. Seems he moved on a while ago."
She smirks at him, not bothering to say what they both already knew. Gravel crunches under her boots as she walks over to her brother, pats him on the shoulder then walks over to the rock formation she'd been staring at for the past hour while Raph confirmed what her instincts had been telling her since they landed in the desolate universe, their father wasn't there. At least, not anymore. The traces of his power that she could feel, suggest he had travelled through this universe, but he didn't stay long.
The black rocks loom over her as she walks closer to the small opening that sat between the two largest formations. She eyes the gap, feeling how thin the fabric of the universe is in this spot. Her sword sings as she unsheathes it, its scabbard hitting her back where it is strapped, and grips it with both hands before pointing the blade towards the dark grey ground. She closes her eyes, breathing deeply as she taps into her powers, the seemingly endless reserve she'd been collecting since she and Raphael had started hunting their father, responds to her immediately. Her entire body hums as her power flows through her. She opens her eyes, her irises now burning a deep blood red, she ushers her powers into the sword she holds, the blade glowing as she pours more and more of her power into it.
The sword ignites, white flames licking up the blade as she takes a final deep breath and thrusts the blade deep into the rock. A flash of light blinds her and a wave of power rumbles throughout the barren universe. Her vision clears to reveal a bright portal sitting between the two rocks, she looks over her shoulder at Raphael and nods towards the gash she made in the fabric of the universe. Finding it unfortunate that the borderline destructive action was the only way they could travel between the alternate universes.
"That never gets less terrifying." Raphael shivers at his sister's display of power, realising, not for the first time, just how powerful her eldest daughter, Evie, would get. He walks over to the portal, throwing one last glance at his older sister before walking through the cold portal, wondering what kind of place they'll end up in this time.
She pulls the sword out of the ground, quickly walking through the portal as it starts to close, hoping they can catch up to their father so she can finally go home to her two daughters.
She feels it immediately.
The pull. The thing that started her on this road. The thing she never thought she'd have again. The thing her father ripped from her, detaching her from who she thought was her soulmate. The father of her children, who died saving their youngest. Who she mourned, thinking her soulmate was dead without having met the real her. Who was, quite possibly the only person she ever truly loved in her long existence. Who turned out to not be her soulmate, he was just a means to an end for her father, a way to punish her more than he already had. To tie her to a mortal that was destined to die at the hand of his father. But he underestimated how far her influence reached, even after he cursed her. He underestimated how badly the Fates wanted her daughters to be born, who were the only ones powerful enough to do what needed to be done.
She exchanges a glance with Raphael, ignoring his unspoken question as she looks back at the large house from where they landed in the woods, the building close enough so she can see movement in the windows but far enough away so they wouldn't be seen.
"Why are we here, Y/N?"
She ignores him, walks towards the house and stops at the front door. She grabs the door handle and twists it to reveal that it's unlocked. The door slowly swings open. Raphael walks up behind her, grabs her arm to stop her and throws her a silent look to ask her what she's doing. She shakes him off and walks into the house, her brother's quiet swearing right behind her as she follows her instincts. Follows them through the eerily silent house as they lead her and Raphael to a door that sits slightly ajar, she smirks at her younger brother before pulling it open to reveal stone stairs leading down into darkness. She signals for Raphael to keep watch before walking silently into the dark.
She stops in front of a wooden door. Her heart pounds in her chest as she reaches for the handle, stopping just before she touches the metal when she senses something. Something's wrong with the door. She stops the instinct to reach out with her powers, knowing her father will sense her presence and move on if she uses them. She backs up, the sword on her back brushing up against the wall as she does and using all her strength, kicks down the door, wards flashing briefly where the door used to be.
The glass orb in the middle of the room is the first thing she notices. The man, whose head snaps up to look at her, is the second. She steps into the basement, ignoring the shouts of the two guards who aim their guns at her. The very naked man stares into her eyes as he rises to stand in the glass cage. Time slows to a stop as she continues to stare into his blue eyes. It's him. She realises. He's the one.
BANG!!
There's a piercing pain in her left shoulder. She looks down at it, shocked and watches the blood pour from the wound the gunshot made. She dives for the pillar on her left, closest to the guards, and swings her uninjured arm to punch the face of the guard who stepped back to intercept her, the man falls to the floor, unconscious. She unsheathes the sword on her back once again, walking out from behind the pillar as the female guard shoots at her again.
BANG!!
She swings the sword, watching intently as the blade slices through the bullet, a dull thud sounds as one-half of the bullet hits the wall, and a loud crack sounds as the other half hits the glass cage.
BANG!!
She merely deflects the bullet as the guard gets closer, shouting something she ignores as she backs up in response.
BANG!!
She deflects another, glancing at the cage as it cracks some more, the man watches the situation intensely, his mouth parting as the glass splinters.
BANG!!
The glass cage shatters, drawing the guard's attention long enough for her to smash the guard across the face with the sword's pommel, knocking the guard out as the wind whips her hair around.
Footsteps step closer to her as she sheaths her sword and stands still, staring at the unconscious guards as the man stops next to her, his bare chest brushing against her shoulder, which had thankfully healed without her realising. His hand brushes shards of glass from her hair. She turns her body to face him, his hand moving to linger on her cheek and looks into his eyes, now glowing silver.
They gaze into each other's eyes, both caught up in the sudden flurry of confusing emotions as warmth fills their bodies and the desire to know each other in every possible way fills every nerve. Is this what it's supposed to feel like when you find your soulmate? She wonders. Trying not to think about how much this complicated her mission and her life as he softly presses his forehead against hers, his thumb brushing against the apple of her cheek, careful to avoid the small cuts the glass made when the cage practically exploded.
"Y/N! We have to go!" She hears her brother shout, bringing her back to reality as her head snaps in Raphael's direction. And upon seeing his mild panic, quickly walks out of the room, avoiding looking at the man whose tender embrace she just left.
Raphael lingers for a moment, meeting the glare of the naked man his sister was giving googly eyes. He shrugs, shooting him a fake apologetic look and, while avoiding looking below his face, turns and runs up the stair after his sister.
The sibling sprint up the stairs, taking two at a time to get to the top. She pauses at the top, looking down the hallways to make sure they're clear before running towards the front door, surprisingly still open from where they entered. They continue into a sprint, only slowing down when they reach the tree line where Raphael shoves her into a tree.
"What the hell was that!?" He seethes, trying to keep his voice down.
She leans against the tree, "He's my soulmate..." Her voice trails off, unable to believe what just happened. And how fucked she was.
New Hairdo
Tumblr media
Older Mikaelson sister reader x Hope Mikaelson
Summary: You and Hope dye your guys' hair when everyone's out.
Warnings: none
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Y/n/n, Y/n/n, Y/n/n! I know what we should do today" Hope comes running into your room and jumps on your bed where you're reading Twisted Love. You look over to your 12-year-old sister and put your book to the side.
"What do you have in mind?" You ask. "We should dye our hair," She tells you. "Hmm, Hayley and Dad will definitely have something to say. And Uncle Elijah will probably say something along the lines of us having demonic tendencies. So, of course, we'd be fools to not dye our hair." You smirk at her.
"Yes!" She climbs off the bed. "What's that book about?" She asks you.
"Let's go get the dye" You lead her out of your room. If you ever tell your little sister the truth about what the books you read are about, you pity her ears and thoughts. So better left untouched.
You guys go to the closest store and buy a box of bright pink hair dye.
"Okay, so how are we gonna do this, whole head, highlights, or a couple streaks?" You pull out the bottle of dye and the brush applier it comes with out of the box.
"Umm, how about a couple streaks on each side" She tells you. "Good choice" You pass her a towel, "Here, put this around your shoulders and sit backward on the toilet.
She nods and follows your directions, sitting in the opposite direction on the closed toilet, and lays the towel around her shoulders under her hair.
You finish reading the directions, "Okay, seems easy enough. Let's do this" You squeeze the pink dye into the plastic bowl.
You apply the bright pink hair dye into a couple parts of her hair on each side. "Aaand, done. Now, you just gotta sit here for thirty minutes before rinsing it out" You tell her. "Okay." You set a timer, and then start on your own hair.
Once you both have washed your hair out, and blow dry your hair. Looking in the mirror, you both have huge smiles on your faces.
"We look awesome!" Hope tells you. "How could we not? We're amazing" You tickle her sides, making her screeche out a chuckle.
You guys are sitting on your bed, Hope leaning into your side. Your arm is wrapped around her, your hand rubbing up and down her shoulder. You guys are peacefully watching TV until Hayley walks into your room.
"Well, something definitely happened while we were away" Hayley pauses, noticing your guys' dyed hair.
"Something fun," Hope tells her mom. "Ahuh, please don't tell me that's permanent" Hayley looks over at you.
"Huh, I forgot to check the box," You say, making a thinking face. Seeing Hayley's eyes widen and her eyebrows raise up, you let out a chuckle. "Don't worry, Hayls, It washes out in some months" You tell her. "Plus, we look adorable" You kiss the top of Hope's head, making her chuckle.

Title: His new babe
Pairing: Past!Haylijah, Elijah Mikaelson x O'Connell!Rocker!Reader
Warnings: Fluff, Angst, a bit smutty, Jealous!Hayley, Camille and Klaus playing cupid
A/N: I adore Halestorm so I kinda base Reader off the lead singer, song here will do a part two
Klaus smiled seeing his fiancée get giggy as it was the first time since they started planning the wedding that Camille was excited about something as wouldn't stop telling him about her older rockstar sister. But really got Klaus's attention was that Camille suggested that they set her sister up with Elijah since his nasty break up with Hayley and agreed with his future wife.
You laughed when Camille pulled you into a crushing hug when she came to pick you up from the airport with your future brother-in-law. You were surely different than Klaus imagined as you were dressed in tight skinny jeans and corset under a leather jacket with ankle boots, your hair a light brown hair in loose curls.
"Cami! Look at you, just gorgeous." You say dark green eyes twinkling as Camille smiled brightly holding your hands looking you over before having you meet Klaus. You were happy for your baby sister watching her with Klaus as you three headed for the Mikaelson home and you were happy to be somewhere without photographers following you every where.
"So how was your tour?"
"Amazing but Cam you should have let me fly you out to England." You say following your sister into the Abattoir getting the attention of the others and watched as a sixteen year old Hope grip Elijah's arm tightly squealing when she saw you.
"Hope?"
"It's Y/N! 'Lijah she is like the best rock singer ever. I didn't know Cammi knew her." Hope said quietly squeezing Elijah's arm as he looked at you finding you just beautiful and was surprised that he was attracted to you. Camille took you into the den to meet the family.
"Everyone meet sister." Camille says smiling as you met everyone and made Hope very happy when you signed your newest album and chuckled as Hope hugged you. You looked at Elijah finding him just gorgeous making you want to sink your teeth into him but learned from Camille of his nasty break up and you weren't going to try anything with Elijah.
"Wasn't aware you had a sister Camille."
"Well I don't like bragging about my single rockstar sister, Elijah."
A week into your stay, Elijah found hisself slowly falling for you but wanted to ask Camille first if it was alright for him to date you to which Camille was more than happy to give Elijah the okay. Elijah headed for the kitchen that morning swallowing when he saw you dressed in an open oversized flannel letting him see the lacy bra and panties sitting on the counter eating a bowl of cereal.
"Morning there handsome." You say as Elijah was trying not to stare moving to get some coffee. You licked your lips finding Elijah delicious dressed in his suit but without his suit jacket.
"Goodmorning, sleep well?"
"I did. Would have slept better if you were in me bed, that handsome face of yours between my thighs." You teased hearing Elijah choke on his coffee before looking at you seeing the smirk on your face. It was no secret to those around you that you and Elijah that you two clearly liked each other with the playful flirting two did.
"Is that so?" Elijah tells you moving between your legs making your smirk bigger putting your empty bowl to the side. Your hands came up moving up Elijah's chest looking up at him as he trapped you on the counter.
"Very much so." You say leaning up brushing your lips against his before squeaking when Elijah kissed you. Elijah took control easily pulling a soft moan from you as you wrapping your arms around his neck. You got a groan against your mouth when you bit his lip deeping the kiss as his hands found your hips pulling you close feeling you wrap your legs around his waist.
"Come to my show tonight?" You asked softly kissing a spot under Elijah's ear making him shiver as he moved his hands along your thighs enjoying the feeling of your soft thighs. Elijah was falling more and more for you as his feelings for you were stronger than when he had feelings for Hayley which wad off putting to the vampire because you weren't his kind of woman yet here he was deeply attracted to you.
"Yes, though this would be my first time going to such a show."
"Then I'll make it worth your wild."
Hayley joined the family with Declan who was excited to see his older cousin while Hope seemed overly excited with Klaus sticking close to his daughter as the show you made sure to give them the best seats. The lights cut off as the spot lights cut on and the crowd began cheering as you showed up on stage with guitar in hand and Elijah couldn't look away as you dressed in the flannel from that morning over corset and skinny jeans with heels.
"How is everyone tonight?!" You yelled into the mic making the crowd cheer as Hope and Camille cheered the loudest and Hayley saw how Elijah couldn't stop staring at you along with Klaus who smirked.
"So I am going to start off the show with a song for a special someone. He stole my heart and y'all know how I like my men." You joked as the crowd cheered and Elijah felt his cheeks warm as Camille and Klaus smirked. You played the first few notes making the women in the crowd cheer.
"You don't know that I know, you watch me every night. And I just can't resist the urge to stand here in the light, your greedy eyes upon me and then I come undone and I could close the curtains.... but this too much fun." You sang winking up at Elijah who felt his heart stop, blush coloring his cheeks.
"Your sister is going for it, love."
"Good." Camille whispered back to Klaus as Hayley frowned looking to Elijah who was engrossed with your music.
"I get off on you, getting off on me. I give you what but nothing is for free. It's a give and take, kinda love we make. When the line is crossed, I get off... I get off." You sang as you played fully aware that Elijah hadn't took his eyes off you.
"So much left unspoken between the two of us. It's so much more exciting to look when you can touch, you could say I am different and maybe I'm a freak but I know how to twist ya to bring you to your knees."
"I get off on you getting on me, I give you what you want but nothing is for free. It's a give and take kinda love we make when the line is crossed, I get off....I get off." Hearing you sing, Elijah could see why you were a big rockstar so knowing you shared the same attraction as him was little intimating.
"What you don't know what you can't see, is what I do for you I do for me....I get off on you getting off on me. I give you what you want, yeah." You had the crowd singing along and Elijah in awe as he was really enjoying hisself.
"I get off on you getting off on me. I give you what you want but nothing is for free, it's a give and take kinda love we make. When the line is crossed, I get off....I get off."
"Yea, I get off. Yea, I get off...I get off." You sang ending the song as Elijah swallowed seeing your chest heave as the crowd screamed and cheered. Declan moved next to Camille as you started up another song as Declan had questions about you and since Camille knew you better she could answer them.
"Is Y/N seeing someone?"
"Kinda I think. Maybe testing the waters?" Camille answered looking at Elijah who was clearly very much enamored by you. Camille snapped her head to the stage hearing you clear your thoat.
"I want you all to cheer loudly for my baby sis, cause she is getting married." You say as the crowd cheered loudly making Camille flush as you raised your glass to Camille.
"Now let's get loud and kick up the show!"
Elijah truly enjoyed your performance as it was exciting to hear you dedicated a few more songs to him about your feelings for him. Elijah now wanted you even more and looked over seeing Hope cheering loudly as your show came to an end. You looked seeing Elijah winking at him again smirking when Elijah looked away flustered and Declan noticed looking at Elijah.
"Is it okay that Y/N is going after Hayley's ex?"
"Yeah why? Hayley said she doesn't have feelings for Elijah anymore and Elijah wants to start dating again." Camille answered Declan watching Hope drag Elijah backstage excited to meet the band. Declan frowned a bit thinking you should be with someone that wasn't his girlfriend's ex. You grinned seeing Hope bounced excited letting her meet the band with Klaus watching closely and you moved next to Elijah who smiled down at you.
"See me in my bedroom at home?"
"Yes. I must say you were gorgeous up there." Elijah said making you flush as he gently took your hand kissing it with Camille watching squealing really hoping that you and Elijah would get together.
"Elijah." You breathed feeling Elijah kiss along your back and your tattoo on your lower back, you were marked and bruised in the best ways mostly on your thighs as you found Elijah really really adored your thighs as he spent time marking your thighs. Elijah moved his hands along your sides groaning when you pushed back against him and he moved to your neck marking it also.
"Need something of me, my darling?" Elijah asked pulling back a moment letting you roll onto your back and Elijah leaned down kissing the fleur de lis drop tattooed under your breast as it one of Elijah's favorite things was to find where are your tattoos were.
"Touch me, I want to feel you." You tell Elijah gasping when he pressed closer as you wrapped your arms around his neck. Elijah swooped in kissing you deeply growling when you pulled his hair.
"Does my baby want it rough?" Elijah purred lowly lifting your legs as you smirked leaning up to his ear.
"Give it to me then big guy."
Hayley was upset seeing you in Elijah's lap kissing his face as he smiled nuzzling your neck placing kisses on your neck. Elijah wasn't in his usual suit while you were dressed in Elijah's shirt and Elijah rubbing your thigh whispering in your ear making you giggle.
"Aren't they cute?" Camille gushed seeing Elijah nuzzle his nose against yours until you pressed your face in his neck.
"I guess. Are you really okay with Elijah dating your sister?"
"Yes, both deserves to be happy. Elijah is taking her as a date to the wedding." Camille said annoyed before leaving a jealous Hayley behind. You kissed Elijah again as he melted against you as you both just spent the afternoon wrapped up in your own little bubble.

Title: 'I hope that you burn'
Pairing: Elijah Mikaelson x Wife!Vampire!Reader x Klaus Mikaelson
Warnings: Angst, Fluff, Protective Elijah and Klaus, Talks of cheating, Reader is a very angry bean
Summary: the family returns home to find a very angry Y/N as she found out about Hayley. At the same time Lucien had came to town.
A/N: A birthday gift for @rere-the-writer as she loves both Hamilton and these two Mikaelson men. I used both the 'First Burn' and 'Burn' lyrics for this so happy birthday babe 🎂 🥳
They returned to the Abattoir only to smell smoke and Elijah had Hayley move behind Rebekah with Hope as he and Klaus went to the den with women following carefully. Elijah looked seeing Jasmine standing by as he had turned her years ago and if she was here then that meant one thing.
Elijah was quick to step I to the den finding Klaus staring at someone in front of the fire and that person was their beautiful wife dressed in nothing but a dressing robe and nightgown.
"Love, what...." Klaus was cut off by the female vampire throwing a painting that was a old piece paper into the fire along with a few old letters.
"I saved every letter you wrote me....from the moment I saw you, I knew you were mine. You said you were mine, I thought you were mine. You and your words flooded my senses, your sentences left me defenseless. You built me palaces out of paragraphs, you built cathedrals."
"Do you what Jasmine said when I told her what you'd done? She said 'You have married an Icarus. He has flown too close to the sun.'" The female vampire said as angry tears fell from her eyes. She looked at Klaus as he took a step closer only to stop seeing the dagger in her hand pointing it at Klaus.
"Don't! Take another step in my direction, I can't be trusted around you. Don't think you can talk your way into my arm." She growled glaring harshly at Klaus as Jasmine looked worried seeing her Sire step forward gently taking the dagger from the angry vampire allowing Klaus to breathe freely.
"Baby, Y/N, let's calm down."
"I'm burning the letters he wrote me. He can stand over there if he wants, I don't know who he is. I have so much to learn, I'm re-reading his letters and watching them burn."
Elijah frowned seeing Y/N throw more letters into the fire when Y/N saw Hayley, the vampire glared at the hybrid before looking at Klaus. Y/N was even more angry to see Hope in Hayley's arms as Rebekah stood ready worried...a child was the one thing Y/N wanted to give her husbands but now that right belonged to Hayley.
"You brought the child she gave to you! You told the whole world how you brought that girl into our bed! In clearing your name, you have ruined our lives!" Hayley watched the vampire scream at Klaus as Elijah tried to calm her down as she began throwing things at the Original hybrid.
"Heaven forbid someone whisper, "He's apart of some scheme." Your enemy whispers so you have to scream! I know about whispers....I saw how you looked at my sister." Y/N said lowly making both Originals flinch as both didn't think their wife saw the looks.
Klaus moved to hold Y/N again but stopped seeing her dark glare reminding them both of her older brother. Elijah looked to Rebekah who nodded understanding that she should get Hayley to leave but tye hybrid wanted to know who the vampire was.
"Don't! I'm not naive. I have seen women around you, don't think I don't see how they fall for your charms." Y/N said as Elijah looked to Klaus seeing how hurt he looked as Klaus never wanted their wife to feel like this.
Y/N threw more letters in the fire before looking at Klaus with a dark look with tears falling down her face. Elijah watched worried when she began walking towards Klaus.
"The world has no right to my heart! The world has no place in our bed! They don't get to know what I said! I'm burning the memories! Burning the letters that might have redeemed you....You forfeit all rights to my heart! You forfeit the place in our bed! You'll sleep in your studio instead, with only the memories of when you were mine."
"I hope that you burn." Y/N said walking pass Klaus as Elijah quickly followed after her leaving Klaus to clean up and Rebekah explaining to Hayley.
"You share a wife with Klaus?" Hayley questioned Elijah seeing him cleaning hisself up as he let Y/N take her anger out on him then held her when she broke down crying.
"Y/N De Martel, my second Sired and wife. We met her years ago just a little after we ran from Mikael.....she was so gorgeous, she still is, and of course Niklaus loved her too. So we agreed to share her."
"So she didn't know about me and Hope."
"She was in hiding from her older brother. It was safe for her to come to New Orleans, Niklaus wanted to tell her of you fave to face." Elijah said as it was clear to Hayley that Elijah was hurting too.
"What about my feelings for you?"
"Hayley, I apologize but I do not share those feelings as all I can see is the woman that help hurt my wife....I love Y/N too deeply."
"At lest one of my husbands are loyal." Y/N's rough voice reached their ears as Hayley looked seeing the smaller woman glaring harshly at the hybrid before Elijah stepped to her cupping her soft cheek.
"Baby, you should be sleeping."
"It is cold and lonely without my 'Lijah." Y/N said burying her face in his chest as Elijah lifted his wife up while Hayley watched Elijah placed kisses on Y/N's cheeks and neck carrying her back to her bedroom. Hayley came to learn just how temperamental the older vampire was as Klaus's apologies wasn't helping. Y/N much like her older siblings had fits of rage and Elijah would have to step in to calm her.
"Ah, if it isn't the little Princess."
"If it isn't the spineless worthless stable boy." Y/N said turning to see Luicen who smirked looking her over. After the death of Dahlia and Hayley's wedding, the first Sired was in town and Y/N still hadn't forgave Klaus and Luicen couldn't help but add to the problem as he found the once Countess in Rousseau's. The bar was empty save for Camille who gotten to know Y/N becoming her close friend.
"Ouch Princess. Such hurtful words no wonder Nik sought out another, I wonder if Elijah had a taste too?" Lucien said making Y/N's eyes darken and threw a wooden chair leg into his thoat. Luicen gaspped as he was suddenly on his back and Y/N's heel digging into his chest as Camille was quick call Elijah and Klaus.
"Must I remind you of your place Lucien?" Y/N asked digging her heel deeper as she twist the stake in Lucien's thoat. And suddenly Y/N was in Elijah's arms being held against his chest as Klaus was helping Lucien up.
"Now love, don't go attacking our old friend."
"Your old friend not mine." Y/N growled struggling against Elijah biting his arm pulling a growl from Elijah as he reached up squeezing her neck lightly getting her to stop. Y/N looked up at Elijah eyes glazing over as he leaned down whispering something in her ear.
"Now Lucien, Hayley wouldn't be able to handle Elijah like our Queen can." Klaus said watching his wife melt against Elijah as Lucien asked to speak to Klaus.
Y/N was back in her own flat having no interest in whatever Lucien wanted nor Elijah wanting to take her out for dinner. She sat in a dressing robe drinking red wine as a rage was bubbling in her. Y/N knew her siblings were going to be in town following Lucien and Klaus would be protecting Hayley making her throw her wine and bottle but it was caught by someone.
"You seem upset sister."
"What do you want Tristan?" Y/N said as her brother stepped farther into her flat. Tristan knew how his baby sister was and from Lucien had told him it wasn't going so good with her marriage meaning that she'll come back to him where she should be like Aurora.
"Did you honestly believe that they would have been satisfy with just you?" Tristan said not having the time to stop his sister from running a sword though his abdomen, Y/N stared at her brother with dark eyes twisting the sword.
"Do not think just because you are my brother that I will not remove your tongue."
"Spoken.....like a true Queen, sister." Tristan rasped out as Y/N tore the sword from his abdomen turning away from the eldest De Martel. Tristan frowned as Y/N seemed more temperamental now which worried him as the youngest was more sane than Aurora.
"I ask again, what do you want?"
"To ask for you stand by my side." Tristan says stepping towards her as Y/N looked at him narrowed eyes.
"What? Why?"
"There is a prophecy and I want you safe." Tristan says as Y/N rolled her eyes looking out the window as Tristan stepped up behind Y/N knowing his next words would hurt his sister.
"Do you really think your husbands would protect you over the mother of Nik's child?" Tristan says watching his sister tense up and sob escape her lips surpsurprising Tristan. Suddenly Tristan was against a wall with Klaus's hand around his thoat as Elijah was next to Y/N letting out a soft grunt when she flings herself into his arms.
"That is where you are wrong Tristan. Hayley's husband is more than capable of protecting her. And to think Elijah here wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt when I said you would try and use her."
"If my sister means so much to you then why did you sleep with another?"
"Hayley was nothing but a drunken mistake." Klaus growled glaring at Tristan squeezing his thoat while Elijah picked up Y/N taking her to her bedroom letting Klaus take care of the problem.
"And yet you still slept with the wolf."
"I suggest you leave or else I will remove your head from your body. I am only allowing you to breathe because my wife still cares for you, I may have hurt her but I refuse to give her more of reason to hate me."
Klaus stood in the doorway seeing Elijah holding Y/N who nuzzled Elijah's thoat, Klaus missed his wife but he understood she was hurt by his actions and for the first time he had to stare at them in the face. Klaus turned to leave to give Elijah and Y/N privacy when the female vampire rolled over seeing Klaus having heard him threaten Tristan.
"Isn't my King going to join us?" Y/N asked softly as Klaus took his shoes off and got next to her surprised when his wife curled into his arms and Elijah follow nuzzling the back of Y/N's neck.
"Forgive me?"
"I do but look or touch another again, I will remove your heart." Y/N said lowly as both her husbands chuckled pressing kisses on whatever pieces of skin was shown.
"And will allow you to my Queen."
"And I'll help baby." Elijah says getting a glare from Klaus as Y/N laughed enjoying the touches of her husbands all night.

you were a bennett witch, bonnie's twin sister to be exact. she was two minutes older than you and she was always claiming the need to protect you ever since grams died. she was now traveling the world with her husband, enzo and you couldn't be more happy for the couple.
you moved to new orleans to help your friend, rebekah who desperately needed your help, saying that 'we need a badass bennett witch and you were the first one i thought of.' that's when you met hayley marshall, the pregnant werewolf. sure, you had your ups and downs but what couple doesn't. being friends with a mikaelson wasn't really easy neither, especially with a tribid baby.
9 months later, the miracle baby was born with name of hope andrea mikaelson and the infant had already gained more enemies than you can count. so you stayed in a house which rebekah compelled for you and hope's parents told you to keep her safe and you did. after all of the madness died down, you were reunited with your girlfriend hayley.
5 years later, hayley popped the question and you obviously said yes. the mikaelsons were there for your wedding, your sister, friends and your nieces. it was a fantastic day which was filled with love, laughter, food. so here, you were now locking hands with your wife, hayley marshall in front of the salvatore boarding school. you came to visit hope and your nieces, it was in the middle of october so you came at a random time that the girls wouldn't except it.
you had some good news, caroline had found a cure for the merge. so she'll back soon to stay for good, hopefully to become the headmaster for this school. walking your way in the school of the supernatural, you were greeted with a dozen of students talking to their friends, from ages 6-18. the hybrid and bennett witch walked in the office but no one was there so you both turned around to leave until you bumped into someone.
“watch where you're, b–“ lizzie cuts herself off when she sees you on the office. she shouted your name before running over to you and hugging you with a huge smile on her face. hugging the blonde gemini witch tightly as you kissed the top of her head.
“i missed you, aunt [name].” she mumbles into the hug, grasping onto you tightly like she didn't want you to let go. you didn't feel hayley's presence anymore knowing that she went to look for hope.
“i missed you too, liz.” you admitted to the blonde saltzman. you pull away from the hug, looking around the office. “where's josie?” and as if on cue, you heard footsteps from the outside of the office no doubt that it could be josie.
“lizzie, mom says that she's coming ba–“ josie says walking into the office not noticing you. “aunty [name]! you're finally here.” her eyes averted to you before running into your arms for a koala hug.
you kissed the older saltzman's twin head. “i missed you too jojo.” josie blushes at the nickname, it always made her feel warm and fuzzy inside. you were josette's best friend until she died on her wedding day, so caroline was the surrogate mother to the twins.
you left mystic falls after josette's funeral, still keeping in touch with your friends and sister. you made two identical necklaces for your nieces telling alaric to give them the necklaces when they're older, it will keep them safe.
after catching up your nieces' lives, you began to search for your wife and daughter. you stumble into a room, luckily hope and hayley were in there looking at dozen of drawing which you assumed were hope's.
“hey mama.” hope said before running over to hug you. your body went paralyzed when your heard the last word that hope had spoken. tears start to swell up in your eyes as hayley looked at you lovingly, the tribid still clinging onto you. your arms wrapped themselves, this was the first time that hope called you 'mama'.
“come on, i wanted to show you the picture i painted of us.” she looked up to see tears in your eyes and she instantly becomes worried, “mama, why are you crying?”
you let out a sniffle covering your mouth, shaking your head slightly. “it's nothing, sweetheart show me the picture.” she smiled, looking over in her pool of drawings and grabs it and hands it to you.
the picture was beautiful and beyond words it can't express. you felt familiar arms wrapped around your waist and you turned to see hayley smiling at you. she gave you a small peck on the cheek before looking down at hope's drawing of you three.
yep, you were happy with your life, you had an amazing wife, a spectacular daughter and nieces, the best twin sister. what more could you ask for.
