RTC FANFICTION??!!

So. I wanna write the story of that one Mischa headcannon I had earlier. So. Here we go!

Mischa stood in front of the mirror. "Fucking hair." He muttered. Scissors in hand, he stared into the mirror.

What would his mother think? His mother always complimented his long, dark hair. If she saw him, what would she say about him cutting his hair?

His adoptive parents? He wasn't sure if they liked him anyway, so what would they say if he just came home from school one day with his hair cut short?

Mischa let out a sigh. "I never liked my hair anyway. If someone says they don't like it, they can fuck off." He thought.

He picked up the scissors and went at his hair. He was never that good when it came to hair. He didn't know how Ocean, Penny and Constance managed to do theirs. After a bit, his hair looked like a bird had made a nest in his hair.

Then he heard the bathroom door open. "shit." he said as he fumbled with the scissors. "Miche- oh." said a familiar voice. In the mirror, Mischa saw a shocked Noel gruber looking back at him.

"Look, I can explain everything-" Mischa said, tears starting to well up in his eyes.

"Why am I crying?" He thought. "Why do I give a shit about what he thinks?"

"You don't need to explain anything. If you wanna cut your hair that's fine. But do it correctly." Noel answered.

Before Mischa could say anything, Noel had taken the scissors from him and started fixing his hair.

He didn't say anything. He didn't ask what he was doing. He wanted to help?

After about ten minutes, Noel let out a "Ta da!", as he backed away. It was just the way he wanted it. Neat-ish and not in the way.

"I'm not gonna ask you anything Michelle, but-" Noel started, but he was quickly cut off by Mischa. "Mischa. Please call me Mischa." Noel nodded his head. "Okay, Mischa I won't ask you anything, but tell me next time you need a haircut." Noel said, as he left the bathroom.

Mischa stared at the door Noel left through. He quickly gathered his stuff and started to run after Noel. After catching up with him, he tapped the shorter boys shoulder. "Hm?" Noel said as he turned around.

Mischa looked at him, and hugged him. "Thank you very much." He whispered.

"Some fire-using sociopath bitch kill her for power?" The grey-skinned demolitionist summed up in a somber tone of voice as his 'eyes' look at the tall blonde with sympathy.

"And your friend was killed in the middle of reviving your comrade in combat?" Jaune said to the Noxian with solemn in his sad blue eyes.

The two look at each for a moment before they let out a deep sorrowful chuckle as they raise their glasses up in the air.

"To fallen friends." They said together as they clinked their drink together before down it in one go to drown the pain and angsty of losing their close friend to their death...

...and to revenged them.

If my mom sees a significant amount of blood she gets lightheaded, and has fainted on some occasions. Once it happened when we were kids, I wasn't there to witness it but I heard the story from my dad. Basically my brothers, around 7 or 8 at the time, were playing outside while my mom was making their lunch, and she accidentally cut her finger. It wasn't anything serious, but it drew a fair bit of blood and she passed out. My dad saw this and rushed over, but he didn't really know what to do so he just sort of started slapping her to wake her up (not recommended, but he had no idea and panicked)

At that exact moment my brothers both came in from playing, and all they saw was our mom unconscious on the floor and our dad slapping her. So, like, without even saying a word to each other they both just INSTANTLY start whaling on him, like, full blown attack mode to defend our mom. Which obviously didn't help the situation, but she did wake up and everything was fine.

Now our dad says that he's actually really glad they attacked him over what they thought was going on, because it means he raised good boys. And I still think that's true, they're very good boys.

#i think about this story sometimes like yeah I'm proud of them for that too actually. good job baby brothers #they're not babies anymore of course they're turning 20 next year which is crazy #but they're still the type of people who'd do something if they saw something of this sort happen for sure #respectful of women and everyone else too. they're good guys #I'm glad I ended up with them living in my house against my will for like 14 years #anyway i have no idea where i was for all this but my best guess is probably a friends house given the time period #i was always at my besties house lol #i hope she's doing well too actually. haven't spoken in forever... #bestie from greek elementary school... if you're out there... let's get muffins and fanta at the bakery across the street again someday 💜☮️

"In one of Africa’s last great wildernesses, a remarkable thing has happened—the scimitar-horned oryx, once declared extinct in the wild, is now classified only as endangered.

It’s the first time the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the world’s largest conservation organization, has ever moved a species on its Red List from ‘Extinct in the Wild’ to ‘Endangered.’

The recovery was down to the conservation work of zoos around the world, but also from game breeders in the Texas hill country, who kept the oryx alive while the governments of Abu Dhabi and Chad worked together on a reintroduction program.

Chad... ranks second-lowest on the UN Development Index. Nevertheless, it is within this North African country that can be found the Ouadi Rimé-Ouadi Achim Faunal Reserve, a piece of protected desert and savannah the size of Scotland—around 30,000 square miles, or 10 times the size of Yellowstone.

At a workshop in Chad’s capital of N’Djamena, in 2012, Environment Abu Dhabi, the government of Chad, the Sahara Conservation Fund, and the Zoological Society of London, all secured the support of local landowners and nomadic herders for the reintroduction of the scimitar-horned oryx to the reserve.

Environment Abu Dhabi started the project, assembling captive animals from zoos and private collections the world over to ensure genetic diversity. In March 2016, the first 21 animals from this “world herd” were released over time into a fenced-off part of the reserve where they could acclimatize. Ranging over 30 miles, one female gave birth—the first oryx born into its once-native habitat in over three decades.

In late January 2017, 14 more animals were flown to the reserve in Chad from Abu Dhabi.

In 2022, the rewilded species was officially assessed by the IUCN’s Red List, and determined them to be just ‘Endangered,’ and not ‘Critically Endangered,’ with a population of between 140 and 160 individuals that was increasing, not decreasing.

It’s a tremendous achievement of international scientific and governmental collaboration and a sign that zoological efforts to breed endangered and even extinct animals in captivity can truly work if suitable habitat remains for them to return to."
