Spicy Astro Observations 18+

This is really just a filler post for my december schedule because the content I've promised has taken so long to write on and off between my finals. I'd like to thank college for these notes, enjoy ig 💘

🌶 Libra Mars are actually quite dominant in bed, it’s so unexpected but I think they’re so good with dirty talk they just naturally know how to control a situation. Synastry/Composite placements as I’ve experienced it.🥂

Aqua Moon conjunct Aqua Sun - I was the moon person and they were the sun person. I felt very comfortable with them and felt like they projected my inner thoughts/behavior. They felt very zen & accepting to me. They were also very understanding and fun to be around. Overall very familiar energy.

Pisces Sun conjunct Pisces moon - I was the sun person and they were the moon person. This really goes both ways with me. I either find them extremely childish and overly sensitive or quiet reserved, kind and humble. Anywho, they somewhat feel like an extension of me but a more sensitive one. (I literally feel like I have to walk on eggshells around them most times💀)

Pisces Sun opposite Virgo moon - I was the sun person, they were the moon person. Ugh I can’t express how many times I tend to clash with these people. All I’m for they’re against, all I’m against they’re for. I like that they’re punctual and practical people which is great, yet some of them nag too much and tend to be straight pessimists…

Leo Rising - I have this with my best friend whom I've known for almost 7 years now and it's honestly the best composite rising I've experienced so far! We're always cheering each other up and on to do great things and have fun. We always have each other's backs. We like to troll people sometimes and act like comedians. 😂 We exaggerate things and agree to each other's delusions. Act like we're on top of the world and we can take on anything/anyone together. And there's this strong sense of loyalty between us. Literally ride or die placement!

4H mars/8H mars - My mars falls in my best friend's 4H and I'm very affectionate and nurturing towards her. I listen to her and make her feel validated. I also feel like I've gotta protect her in a way. It comes as no surprise that she sees me as a sister, given the 4H is related to family. On the flip side, her mars falls in my 8H and she acts protective over me. Like if someone said something that hurt my feelings or if they just started the minimalistic of arguments, she's quick to jump in at my defense. Ironically, her Natal mars is in her 4H and mine is in my 8H so maybe that's why it also feels pretty natural to us.

8H asc/6H asc - So, I have this step cousin who's rising falls in my 6H and he acts hella reserved. Not specifically cold, just doesn't talk to me much. My rising falls in his 8H and I always feel so shy around him for no reason. I'll wanna say something but just keep it in my thoughts. Very indirect talking and shyness. We have Virgo rising in composite.

Aqua Venus - If it's in water houses (4/8/12) there's a more affectionate nature, bonus if it's at a water degree. That goes for all composite Venus anyways. Aqua Venus tends to feel like there's emotional detachment. Like when you get too close they pull away or vice versa.

11H asc - I can't begin to stress how awkward and uncomfortable this overlay isss. It depends though, me being a Gemini rising, I find it more uncomfortable with Leo risings sometimes, than I do if my rising falls in a Cancer rising's 11H. I love Leo risings though.

Gemini Rising-Gemini Venus - My ex's Venus falls in my 12H and doesn't even touch my rising, yet it was love at first sight. He loves telling me about his day, playfully teasing me. He's also hilarious and has a very similar sense of humor as mine. We have Aries sun/mercury/venus in composite.

10H Pisces Venus-Pisces mars - My ex's mars conjuncts my Venus and he used to be very protective of me. Very much the "my girl this, my girl that" type. 😂 Because Pisces falls in my 10H, I've always seen him as very chill, responsible and easy going.

Cancer rising - There's always a nurturing vibe there, no matter the other placements. I had this with an ex and we talked a lot about having kids, there was also a sense of family there. It tends to be a very sweet placement, where one of you (or both) are sweet talkers.

10H mercury - I had this with an ex and they thought I was very smart and would often ask me meaning of certain things. 🥲 I also find others who have their mercuries in my 10H are very well spoken and give off sophisticated vibes.

3H - I am a suckerrr for people who have placements in my 3H *cough* Leo placements *cough* I just find them so intriguing and that we tend to have a lot in common!! I usually bond with people over music, so I find that Leo venuses/mercuries have the best taste and put me onto a lot of music! Leo moons that fall in my 3rd house, opposite my 9H Aqua moon and I tend to get along with them better than those that fall in my 2H. Leo suns that fall in my 3H feel like those curious siblings that wanna share and know everything! Definitely a personal fav!!

Are there any companions you can't stand?

I wouldn't say I have any that I can't stand. Something that's so engaging to me about DA is that the companions have good, bad, and a lot in between. Honestly, I don't hate any of them. There are companions that I have more issues with than others, but I like them all; even, and sometimes especially, the ones that tend to be heavily hated on by the fandom.

The only companion that might fall into this category for me is Sebastian, but I totally acknowledge that I've yet to make an effort to use him when I play DA2. I legit just forget about him. How am I supposed to have a good grasp of his character when I don't engage with him outside of his companion quests? Plus I usually romance Anders so Sebastian always leaves my party in the end with threats of bringing an army down on Kirkwall for not killing Anders, soooo... yeah. Not the greatest impression he's left me with.

I would like to have a more well-rounded opinion of Sebastian because the concept of him is interesting; he's this chantry brother who is also a prince, but his family was murdered so he puts up a bounty on the chantry board [which admittedly is SO funny] and his companion quests are about avenging his family and helping him decide if he should take back his lands or remain a chantry brother. But then I talk to him, I listen to him talk to the other companions, and it's like... oh, the chantry has become his entire personality because the dude was brainwashed and now he's saying shit like the maker was actually the one who freed Fenris from slavery, and when Fenris tells him a story about how Denarius killed a child in a ritual for more power, Sebastian just doubles down that the maker has his reasons, like....babe, c'mon now.

I feel like I've read pieces about him written by fans who love him that are more compellingly written than he is, if that makes sense. Really, I would love to be educated by those who love him, especially Sebastian romancers because of all the love interests in all of DA, he's the one I look at and go, "....okay but why?" I have a lot of fun with character discussions and other perspectives so I mean that sincerely.

Also I think it's worth noting that when I play, I tend to get super into the roleplay of my warden/hawke/inquisitor, but while they have party members they can't stand, I have opinions that are separate from them, y'know?

For example, since I've talked about it a lot recently, my mage Hawke and Aveline butt heads constantly. By the end of Act 3, they're rivalry is heated and Ed's surprised Aveline even sided with him in the end because THAT is how much their relationship deteriorated over the course of the game... but then there's my warrior Hawke who adored Aveline. The two of them were best friends and Aris always gave her the benefit of the doubt, like she had Aveline's back through and through.

I've complained about Aveline a lot in my posts so it probably does sound like I can't stand her, but that's not true. Aveline's actually a companion that fascinates me, like she makes me go, "God, you're such an asshole, tell me more right now." and it drives me crazy how she and Carver are foils, like I love it so much, I could go on and on about how foiled they are, it makes me want to bite something.

It's very easy to look at Aveline and think she's just a bitch, she's a cop, she's a bad character, #Aveline-critical, bad companion, etc. I see it all the time, and not just with her, but with every companion in dragon age, y'know? I'm not saying that's wrong or anything; some characters just don't vibe with you or you have legit reasons for hating them and that's fine. I'm just saying some of it's very surface level unless you make the effort to elaborate.

If you don't like a character, you're less likely to make an effort to understand or see anything positive about them. You're more likely to have confirmation bias, so whenever they do or say anything, you go looking for the worst interpretation. I try not to do this just because for me, that's the "boring" approach to games like this but as we've seen, I'm not immune either... y'know, Sebastian.

But Carver gets this a lot, too, and I think I've made myself clear that Carver is my favorite, I love him, the Hawke twins are S-tier companions and I would throw everyone in Kirkwall into the ocean if it meant Bethany and Carver's happiness.

Now that I'm thinking about it, the characters a lot of fans can't stand are some of my favorites?

Like a lot of people shit on Sera, and I'm like "Nah, that's my girl! Listen, she's got a LOT of internalized issues, but we're working through them okay! She's getting better!"

And Vivienne? Oh, don't get me started on Vivienne, I have a whole deal about her. She's also an asshole and I love her.

My canon inquisitor is Surana who escaped the circle and joined the dalish, becoming Lavellan. Vivienne is a reflection of what Ash could've been if she hadn't run away with Jowan. She played the game of the circle, she stepped wherever she needed to step because Ash knew she was at a disadvantage by being an elf, for one, and for two, not coming from a family with wealth that would give her special privileges. Her downfall was buying into her own hype and believing she couldn't be wrong about Jowan, believing that she could either prevent them from making him tranquil or help him and Lily run away, and believing she was above punishment because she worked her way into being Irving's favorite. Yet it all bit her in the ass and she had to run… so then years later after living outside of the circle and realizing just what the chantry is, how it conditions and abuses mages and shit, she meets Vivienne who also played the game well and came out on top, who now spouts the same shit Ash used to spout and it's makes their dynamic sooo chewable.

Then there's Cullen who's not a companion but I lump him and Josephine in with the companions anyway. They're advisors, they're in the inner circle, they count.

He's such a spineless ass in DA2 like believe me, I get all the criticisms he gets... but he's also fairly polite to Hawke even if they're openly anti-templar, he's softer spoken, and he's unwell after what happened to him in DAO and Meredith's clearly taking advantage of his state... but then he becomes an advisor in DAI who is so done with people's bullshit and blatantly honest about it, like he looks at Chancellor Roderick like "this fucking guy again" and he's so ready to just go for it, y'know? Well... unless you're a pretty lady who bats her eyes at him, then suddenly he doesn't know how words work. Like sometimes I feel crazy because I find him to be so funny in DAI, and overall a compelling character that I enjoy interacting with even when he's being a total asshole. Yeah, there's issues in his writing but I appreciate the vision the writers were going for, even if they stumbled... except for Sheryl Chee, I don't appreciate her contribution of those few posts on the DA forums that everyone uses as a smoking gun to "prove" awful things about him. Nothing gets under my skin more in character discussions than bad faith arguments and there's so much of that when it comes to Cullen.

Actually, while we're on that, can I just add a note that when I first got into this fandom, I saw someone's post about Chee doing an interview where she said all those bad things about Cullen wanting to assault the mage warden and I was like, "What? An interview? What interview?? Where??" and I couldn't find shit until much later when I read another anti-Cullen post that cited a DA forum as the source for her saying those things... so not an interview. I went digging for the forum, went into the way back machine to find it.... only to discover that this smoking gun comes from a fanfiction forum where Mary Kirby was also talking about Sten and catgirls and y'all expect me to take that seriously?

We can have discussions about whether or not Cullen's a bad person or a bad character, but the moment you bring Sheryl Chee into it, I know you're here in bad faith and your argument is void.

Sorry for the tangent and the long answer but this is the stuff I enjoy. I could talk about the characters of DA for ages unprompted that when someone does throw me a bone, I will discuss and gush about them all.

Just a quick thing about music artist and astrology

I don't know if it is just a me thing but I have noticed that most artist that I relate to or even really vibe with musically tend to share some kind of astrology aspect or placement as me. For example: I listen to Mariah Carey a good amount and at first I didn't think much of it. I decided to look up her chart cause why not? She is an aries sun and venus with her venus being in retrograde and she has a sag mars. idk if you caught on but I also have these placements. I was like wow what a interesting coincdence.

It wasn't until I came across a post that said something along the lines of "If you want to find an artist you'll relate to look for an music artist with the same moon sign as you" and there was porbably other stuff said in that but its whatever. Anyways I decided to go through the artist I tended to listen to the most and this is what I have found so far.

Kali Uchis: Has their sun trine their pluto

Ariana Grande: She has Venus trine ascendant like me. She also has her Pluto trine her lilith and while I don't have the trine aspect. I do have my Pluto sextile lilith in my chart. Her venus is apprently in the 9th house as well. Oh and in sidereal her moon is in Virgo which same. I'm a virgo moon no matter what it worries me sometimes...

Selena (honestly I don't think astrology has anything to do with my love for her but let's proceed): Venus trine Ascendant, Mars trine Pluto (i have a conjunction but oof bruh I don't care. I could only hope to be nearly as iconic as her). Pluto-Lilith aspect (hers is a conjunction and mine is a sextile so idk if I really count this one or not). Pluto sextile Ascendant where I have a Pluto trine Ascendant.

Nicki Minaj (mixed feelings on this): Get ready for this...

HOW DO ME AND HER BOTH HAVE A VIRGO MOON WITH A FIRE SUN SIGN. Honestly I did a synastry chart when I found her chart and bruh...HOW DO WE GOT 99% COMPATABLITY!? The one percent is only because realistically speaking 100% is never guarenteed when it comes to me and people. Now I will not be commenting on her as a person because oof dude. All I will say is that there is no doubt her music has impacted who I am as a person. Idk how but it has. I'm telling you I will listen to just her parts in a song just for nostalgic purposes. Anyways she also has Mercury conjunct Venus (not that important really), Moon-Mars (her's is a trine while mine is a square), Mars-Pluto (her's is a square while mine is conjunct), and she has both her venus and mercury squaring her moon while mine is an opposition. I think that last one is mostly because I have very early degrees on my mercury and venus in Aries. Moving on tho

Finally there is doja cat: Now she and I both have sag mars and virgo moons which is fun because then in sidereal we still have matching mars and moon so oof bruh. That should be enough for this portion of the post...

I have a lilith in aquarius and idk but I really love cancer lilith people. The only way I can explain it is really just that because of my 12th house in cancer and/or my north node in cancer I have this interesting love-hate with cancer placements. I say this more along the lines of I will have one of two reactions. I will see them as basically family it doesnt matter how long I have know them for they are now my a part of my family. Or I want to fuck them. It's interesting becuase based on their other placemetns it can influence the feelings. Like if it is a cancer sun, sag moon combo they are basically like a little brother to me even if they are older than me. Or say it's a person with a cancer lilith I become a thirsty bitch but it's way too intense and I don't wanna scare them off too soon. I figured I would just include that for funsies.

who the hell am i?

my name is ariona! i also go by ari (common nickname), rio (occasional nickname), and whatever the hell else people wanna call me (within reason). fun fact, my childhood nickname was bird because when i started talking i apparently sounded like a parrot (:

i’m in my mid-twenties (23 as of posting this; turning 24 in march!) and i have been writing since i was in the second grade, or about 7-8 years old. i’ve wanted to be a published author since the fourth grade (10 years old). i have yet to achieve that “published” thing, but i’m working towards it every day and am hoping to have something published somewhere by the time i’m 25 (or while i’m 25, i’m not too picky lol)

i’m a chronically ill lesbian who tries to include type one diabetic characters in everything i write and almost exclusively write queer characters.

i currently work in before and after school childcare, though i am in the process of finding a new job that provides me better stability as well as the time to be able to focus on my writing more. my hope is some kind of office job, or, even better, something in a library!

what kind of things do i write?

it honestly depends on the vibes, man. i’m happy to write (almost) every genre so long as i have a story idea that fits it that i want to write. however, i do have some common things that i tend to write more often than the rest, such as:

queer romance (usually the romance part is not the primary focus, though i do have a sapphic romance novel in the works)

modern fantasy

coming of age

found family

complex and complicated family dynamics

i also have a tendency to post weird little ramble-y thought pieces in random points in time (would it count as poetry? i honestly don’t know). if you’re interested to seeing any of it, my writing tag is #ariwrites !! i’ll add the tag to this post as well for convenience sake!

what projects do i currently have?

so, here’s the thing: i struggle with completing things and tend to have a bunch of new ideas and kind of leave old ideas in the dust. because of this, i’ve decided to take almost all of my current projects and scrap them? actually, scrap isn’t the right word - i’m starting from scratch with a majority of them! i think there are some ideas that i can actually combine into one story rather than them being separate, and a lot of it is just a kind of conglomerated mess that i am in the process of detangling in order to move forward in a more coherent and structured way. however, i do have two projects that i am not starting from complete scratch. i am remaking the outlines for these two stories, though, and then rewriting them from the beginning!

here are those two projects:

rotten

a zombie apocalypse scenario that i originally started writing as a nanowrimo project in 2022 that i did not complete. matter of fact, i only got a couple of chapters in before the spark fizzled out. however, i love the characters i have created and the bones of the story i had in mind, which is why i am choosing to restructure the outline and try again. it will likely change quite a bit as i remake the outline and iron out the details in new ways, but the basic breakdown of the story is this: it’s three years into an apocalypse that has left a mere remnant of humanity in its wake. we have a cast of four main characters (maybe six, depending on how you look at it). one is an older brother taking care of his siblings, both of whom have yet to reach double digits in age. one is a grumpy pessimist who thinks it’s pointless building bonds when everyone else she knew before is almost definitely dead and anyone else she meets will end up dead, too. one is a former optimist who has been weighed down by the realism the apocalypse has forced upon him, who hates being alone (being lonely) but has been betrayed by every single person he has come across since the fight to survive began, and he doesn’t really know what to do about that anymore. one was raised privileged and pampered by a paranoid and eccentric millionaire who was also absolutely certain that doomsday was inevitable (hey, turns out he was right!) and therefore raised his daughter teaching her every survival skill he could and preparing her for the worst, so she is, realistically, the best person to have on your side in an apocalypse—and yet she has been alone the entirety of the three years. all of them are queer and all of them will have to learn that they can rely on one another after stumbling into each other’s lives. also, despite only one of them being the older brother of those kids, the other three will eventually come to an agreement that they would burn the rest of what’s left of the world if it meant keeping them warm, so that’s cool, i guess.

hot chocolate

this is the sapphic romance novel i mentioned above! started writing it on a whim with literally zero plan for it last year, made it my camp nano project, and somehow managed to hit 30k words before the lack of preparation caught up with me. the title is a working title and might change upon the rewrite, but i absolutely adore this story so far and am very excited to get an outline busted out so that i can get back to writing it. the breakdown is this: mallory james moves in with her big brother when she’s eighteen. it’s the summer after her graduation and every single plan that she had for her future has been rendered pointless and now she’s trying to find her footing in a life that is completely different from the one she had been living only a few months ago. her brother, eddie, is going to do his best to be there for her and help her heal, but mallory doesn’t want to heal. she doesn’t even want to acknowledge that there’s anything she needs to heal from. unsure of what to do next, she enrolls in the local community college and meets a few people who somehow manage to become her kinda sorta friends — ellie, ash, and bee. featuring sapphic love, healing from loss and family trauma, finding stability and reason in an unexpected place, and a side character who is definitely polyamorous but entirely unaware that that’s a thing he’s able to be.

alright, i think that’s all i want to put here! i’ll definitely edit this with updates as information changes and as old projects become new again and things like that, but it’s a new year (the fact that i’m posting this in february is absolutely not important at all) and i’m trying to make ‘24 something worthwhile. if you’ve read this far, thank you so much and i hope everyone is having an incredible day/night !!

PLOTTING / WINGING IT / MEMES: I am open to all, but if it becomes a thread, I definitely prefer reasonable plotting somewhere along the lines, and occasionally popping in for plotting refreshers if needed to keep the plot going!

GENDER: I can write both, but I generally prefer males, unless I just really vibe with a female characters personality and plot and such.

MULTI OR SINGLE: Multimuse half the time, mainly on this blog. I tend to take on a few characters if I have interest and/or experience, just depending on the fandom.

LEAST FAVOURITE FACECLAIM(S): I don’t have any big opinions on faceclaims, honestly. i’ve used them in the past for OCs or RL examples of book or animated or other such characters. for stuff that has reasonable picture options, i would generally expect those pictures to be used, but im not gonna complain otherwise.

——— FLUFF / ANGST / SMUT! ♡

FLUFF: I love it, especially as a sort of balm over formerly stressful content, or its just...so dang cute and addictive. So long as it stays in mine and my partners personal parameters of believable/fitting/appropriate for the scene and our characters unless otherwise being wish fulfillment content.

ANGST: I generally live by it. Sometimes I might have moments where I get really caught up and i overthink the comfort level or consequences and try to solve issues like a RL person rather than trying to tell and enjoy a story but, when I can control that, I thoroughly enjoy some good angst with roleplay partners.

SMUT: I’m totally on board with it. I’ve been known to just throw out fling moments, moreso with characters it makes sense for, but I generally prefer some believable build up. The long pine, slow burn can be amazing, but I also understand and relate to partners who might have those moments of just feeling they and their muse have both gotten a little impatient/it feels like a moment is there and you just take it.

BONUS: I don’t always manage it well but I’ve come to enjoy developing HC’s/fanon for my muses and I adore moments where I get to share that and build some realism and relatability, within reason and accuracy, to my characters..

these observations are a lil wordy so sorry about that

i’ve got a nice theory/question/discussion for anyone open to talking about it :)

i’ve noticed that cancer placements tend to rlly like anime and i honestly think it’s because anime girls typically have this soft girl vibe and they may be rlly into that

gemini & scorpio placements together tend to be very curious and good at solving that curiosity

for example: they could wonder (gemini) why someone does something and be able to use their detective skills (scorpio) to find out what they want to know

moon in 4th overlays tend to create a long-lasting crush or that may create feelings of always having a soft spot for that person

similar to my last post, i think cardinal signs in angular houses are very good at achieving or going after what they want in those major life aspects meanwhile fixed signs in angular houses may be a little more fixated and expect certain life stages to go as planned and may not budge or give up when something doesn’t go as planned

these imo are interesting to see play out when different signs fall into different house types (angular, succedent & cadent)

for example: having cardinal signs in succedent houses can manifest as a person always trying to obtain or taking the initiative to go after themes of the houses

example example: capricorn in 2nd can show someone always working to achieve or taking the initiative to obtain monetary, material or inner needs, etc.

tbh major asteroids are so important to understand imo

Awww yeeeeah December. My birthday is December 7th and I know and love so many sag placements so I decided to type out some thoughts ❤💖💗

Some very sagittarius things:

Sag moon very much a dreamer at heart. Reactive af and may be on the side of running from their own emotions but give great advice from a big life picture pov and they also have a gift for being able to paint this beautiful picture of all your possibilities when you're feeling down.

Sagittarius is an extremely generous sign, maybe even impulsively so. Not the type to do any tit for tat. They give because they feel like it and it makes you happy and that's really all that matters.

Side note on this. My long time bff (taurus sun, aries stellium) had to keep my money in highschool because she got tired of watching me give it all away. 😅😂

Similar to their sister sign, gemini, they want to know all about you but also walk in your shoes and try to understand your life. Your literal and metaphorical travels. Actually surprisingly devoted to the people they love.

I think they want to learn more about other cultures and travel because once they know about other cultures, they realize their world is in fact very, very small and it's a very exciting adventure to think that there's a much bigger world out there and they can expand their knowledge. They can't just not explore once they learn how much more is out there.

Sag is also a lot more emotional than given credit for, their idealistic nature is sensitive to criticism. If not outwardly- then internally. They try to avoid people/places/things that bring them down. Negativity and negative outlooks affect sag placements heavily.

Throw a bone to a sag and just indulge them for a second in these ideals. They just dream up this magical world and it's honestly precious to them. A secret place in their hearts. They carry this since childhood and will be so so happy and grateful to anyone who accepts and doesn't judge them for what other's may consider a childish way to behave.

Ffs their symbol is the only one that isn't based in reality. Because of this Sag has this mystical, quest like vibe about them. They can be so very theatric and amazing storytellers. Can have the whole room cracking up as they tell a dramatic tale (Literally every sag I know has at least 5 crazy stories of absolutely true things they've experienced, like how does this always happen to you?!).

They're the archer and they always have a goal. Their goals though tend to be more big picture oriented though. They can skip over finer details, and potential pit falls or stumbles because of this idea that no matter what things will always be okay. There can also be a lack of planning. Goals like "I want to be happy", which sounds so simplistic and is so wonderfully wholesome and idealistic but it overlooks the fact that in life there is suffering.

And this where the mutable energy comes into play here and they dodge their pain and negative feelings again and again to get to their goal to just "be happy", they may even switch directions and seek out other ways of attaining happiness.

This can lead people to think they're flighty and non-committal- but they aren't. The fear is of pain, is of shattering this beautiful idealistic world, of becoming hopeless, becoming depressed and bleak.

A sag can easily commit and they do actually want to. They want a partner to adventure with, to live life with. To learn from and in turn teach. To laugh and make memories, to keep them safe and keep the magic alive and show them love is unconditional, it expands and grows and helps you do the same. Similar to Gemini, once they found their person and have that full acceptance and understanding, they're all in.

Collectors of random knowledge. They can always learn more, more, more. Podcasts, articles, docs, books. But unlike gemini, a sag will prefers something they can teach others or something they can physically do.

While gemini has an intellectual kind of chaos- a sag is physically all over the map. Whether that's travelling, partying/bar hopping, hiking. They are very much always DOING. You could look away for a second and look back to see them across the street because they just felt like checking it out.

They operate on blind faith. If it's halfway through the semester and they're failing and absolutely need to pass, "It'll all work out", if someone close to them is very ill, "they will be okay", a bad break up, "I will be fine".

Kings and queens of somehow shit always manages to turn out to be okay (?!)

Super important though to be actually checking the facts and having resources instead of just believing things because it feels right. I think too, sag placements can deal with people taking advantage of them and that's why they develop the habit of cutting people out or putting on the idgaf attitude.

A sag will pour so much unconditional love and faith into their people and it can really shatter them inside to get taken advantage of. It's as if they can't even fathom the idea that any betrayal would happen to them.

Jupiter enlarges and, especially sag moons, they have big feelings. Big emotional displays sometimes. A sag mars, big anger. Sag venus, big love. All they know is to do it big. And for some people it is just too much. They can be used to hearing "be quiet", "you're crazy", "you're annoying".

And that's okay sag! They're not the ones for you.

Absolutely infectious people. On one hand may not take life too seriously but then on the other- they seem to know so much about how life is and be able to accept it. My grandpa was a sag sun and mars was the most happy go lucky man but he also had binders full of inspirational quotes.

They also have a tendency to make other people believe in them, this could be their friends going on a death journey super fun adventure, or other people just buying into the insane amount of confidence of a sag saying "yeah I can definitely do this thing"- that they in fact, could not do but hey at least they tried.

Not only that though, they're great at getting people to believe in themselves too. Constant little cheerleaders with the cheesy lines too. "Go team go, teamwork makes the dream work." I don't think I've met a sag yet who didn't have pun after pun after pun that they've memorized or just little obnoxious inspirational sayings they pull out.

Sag loves to laugh and laugh loud. They want to get old and have those crazy stories. They want to live to the fullest and then some. They want to be surrounded by pure joy.

Sag also seems to love being close to prickly type people lol. I always see a sag have at least one cynical and pessimistic person they're close to that they are just absolutely attached to. They really aren't put off by these types of people because at least they're speaking their truth.

They follow their impulses. Their goal is to be going wherever their passions want them to and whether those passions tell you to get in the car and go on a 4 hour drive on impulse or to max out your credit card to go to vegas for a festival or skip school for some pho...that's what you're doing and without regrets because fuck it, that's what you were feeling at the time.

I think also sag placements have a super active imagination. In their world things exist because of possibility. Prove to them it ISN'T real. The inner child here is heavily at play and they get a lot of enjoyment out of having these secret places in their hearts and minds where magic is alive and mythological beasts could be hiding out in the alps or they could have gone to hogwarts or even just imagine they're inside of a fantasy novel. (And let's be real- fantasy is their genre of choice.)

And because of that too I think sag placements are forever young. Sag placements keep this energy and vibrancy and hype with them that won't be squashed ever.

And being a sag sun in the 7th, lemme just say two sag placements just...don't date lmfao. Every boy I had dated who was also a sag, our relationship ended because we mutually ghosted and then pretended like nothing happened. 😂😂

Sooo give your local sag some love, let them gush and witness their sparkly eyes and childlike nature. And please remember, other things factor in. Sag planets in cadent houses, in retrograde, saturn aspects, in aspect to chiron, earth dominance- many things can affect how easily (or not) the energy is expressed.

why did they choose their class(es)? their subclass(es)?

neither of my girls really chose their abilities, most of the time when i build characters even if they teach themself how to do something it's generally moreso flavored as their interest, application, or expertise in a particular skillset? it's part of why i multiclass so much, i tend to build characters with VERY niche flavor and a specific set of capabilities i'm looking for.

OPHELIA before she became a vampire, I would've classed her as a second level monster slayer fighter. I would say ranger but ophelia doesn't fuck with magic at all. Her flavor as a Bloodhunter is largely based on her 'Hunter's Bane' being her transformation into a vampire. So her blood curses I all picked as things that could specifically be flavored as vampiric abilities. Then her being a Ghostslayer is flavored as the fact that she wears a consecrated cross that when it's in contact with her skin a) burns her and b) transforms her blood into divine light exorcizing her from the inside out essentially. girl's got issues.

Her future multiclass into redemption paladin is specifically kinda based around a) self-acceptance, forgiveness, and learning to love herself for who and what she is and all the people she's been and all the parts of herself that exist and b) god is a neglectful absentee father figure and he needs to apologize and swear an oath to HER (i'm slightly clowning but her and lathander's vibe is very much like. he owes her an apology for just. never responding to her no matter what happened in her life and how hard she prayed or screamed)

IILESARYN is SUPER interesting because i never thought I would actually get to play iilesaryn just bc the mechanics of her concept are so fucking niche. I originally came up with her October 2018 and was just so disappointed that I couldn't figure out what to do with this cool idea I had. And then Genie Patron Happened. Originally iile's patron was a sea goddess but a) elemental worked better for my dm's campaign and b) genie patron and being able to hang out inside a necklace is literally half of iile's entire concept except she DOESN'T CONTROL leaving the necklace (most of the time). So she's a Genie Warlock because she was dating her patron at one point but now can't remember and is also technically a magic item so i think some of Iile's warlock stuff is also just, She is Literally The Heart Of The Sea.

Rogue was definitely Iile's class before warlock juice was ever involved. Highly flavored as just her being a sailor, agile underwater, and fast-talking on the docks. When I get enough levels to, I'm obviously going to pick up swashbuckler and then Fighter is simply. a Meta-gamey choice just bc I wanted her to have action surge lol, but I think it makes sense as she's like, entering a time of her life where she's Adventuring and In Danger. She's gotta learn to fight good.

which party member do they relate to the most?

this is when i'm going to start being mean to OPHELIA because like... She doesn't relate to any of these guys. She hasn't talked to people in 50~ years 😭, she has no clue how to relate to people.I would gravitate towards saying Ireena (She Is A Part Of The Party I Will Die Here) but honestly, Ophelia genuinely has NO CLUE what led Ireena to the terrible decision of dating Strahd especially when Ireena is so so so nice. I think she definitely relates to Ireena in terms of "no one was there to help me when i turned into a vampire and i don't want to see her suffer... or out us BOTH." but also I Don't Know What's Going On With Ireena's Half-Vampirism Deal OOC and I'm So Confused and Worried ??? 🗡🗡🗡 but both Ireena and Ophelia are kinda like. Okay. So ur becoming a vampire Probs.

Out of player characters it's really tough. I don't think she knows enough about them to see herself in any of them but she and Coco have a BILLION parallels. It's funny because she's kind of trying to keep her distance as a self protection mechanism but also bc she's legitimately terrified of what they'd do if they knew she was a vampire. She IS afraid of her own party. It's VERY funny and sad.

IILESARYN relates to Art the most I believe. And I think most of it comes from the fact the first question she was asked by the party was "hey are you and art related you're both blue" LMAO. Like Genuinely I think that's the only reason she gravitates towards him, plus he unpokeballed her which is a big deal. However, in terms of like. Her real non-having a crisis personality and behavior returning, she and Queue probably have a lot with being abandoned and also just. Fast-talking to deflect from insecurities energy.

which party member do they understand the least?

OPHELIA's answer is kind of answered above?? She just doesn't know enough about the party and is Too On Edge. I would gravitate towards Inmis though. She does not know WHAT the hell a Reaper is or WHAT she's doing here. She sees a shadow entity and is like "i have no room to judge i'm just not gonna ask" it is super neat that someone is using one of my homebrews without knowing it was me who made it 😭 it also means some of Inmis' insane bullshit can be blamed on me LMAO

IILESARYN has no clue what's going on in that funky farm man j'gar's head. he is SO perplexing to her, she has NO idea that he's teasing and dunking on her and is just confused why she's being called a wet baby, she is NOT a coward, she's just CONFUSED, and he's insisting she just got blackout drunk and forgot some stuff when she knows she doesn't know SHIT ABOUT HERSELF. Love that Clown Man.

when they meet someone, what is the first thing they notice?

OPHELIA instantly tries to clock any sort of visible weaponry or threats to her physical safety 😬. Before she was so hypervigilant about meeting people and interacting with people I think she paid a lot of attention to people's build and hair color. Easiest identifying features from a distance.

IILESARYN is def the type of person who makes eye contact all the time and notices people's eyes and also their smiles!

what makes them laugh?

OPHELIA doesn't laugh really, even before Ravenloft. She's just been a pretty neutral person for the most part, but does express laughter when she thinks something is funny with a very flat "ha ha" which is not sarcastic 75% of the time even if it sounds sarcastic, she's doing her best. Luce teasing her and flustering her makes her laugh. And Ophelia's laugh is very sweet and quiet and is more of a giggle than a full-blown laugh but that's about as far as it gets. It's honestly very cute I think Ophelia deserves to laugh more. But she only really laughs when she's being bullied (affectionate) by someone who knows her VERY well and usually bc they're teasing her.

IILESARYN laughs pretty easily and regularly. She laughs just when she's in a good mood. She's not laughing much right now bc. Existential Crisis. However she'll get back to her old self. She thinks a lot of things are funny tbh? And just generally likes goofing and ribbing on people she knows.

Hello! Can I get MCU, The Hobbit, and The Man From U.N.C.L.E. ship? 💚

Appearance: She/her. 179,5cm tall, rectangle body shape. Fair skin complexion with quite a few birthmarks. Dyed brown with honey-red highlights, shoulder-length, straight hair with bangs. The left eye is a mix of two colors – a smaller portion of (darker) greyish-blue and a larger portion of hazel; while the right eye is just a (lighter) greyish-blue. Heptagon face shape with two dimples on the left cheek and one on the right cheek (only visible while smiling). A gap between the upper front teeth.

Personality (good and bad traits): Ever since I was a kid, I was always quite mature for my age – I identify myself as an old soul. I come off as polite and well-mannered to strangers, yet I tend to keep it to myself by being reserved. But, that’s because I have social anxiety and I’m nervous and shy when meeting/talking to people. The only people I’m comfortable with being with my inner circle – closest friends and family. I am usually more “open” with my friends than with my family. With my friends I can be my “truest-self” – I smile more, I laugh more, I feel more accepted and understood. I am the mom and the fashionista of the group. Don’t get me wrong, I am fiercely protective of my family, especially of my mother and younger sister. But, lately, I’ve been feeling like the “black sheep” of the family, Cinderella who’s been taken advantage of. I express my affection for the people I care about in little, but practical, ways. I can be a little stiff when it comes to open, gushy displays of affection. Others turn to me for help and advice. I’m kind-hearted and generous, always ready to help a person in need. Always have been motherly towards children. Very awkward at keeping small talk (usually with people that I’m not that close with). Absolutely, hate speaking in front of a public, and if I do, because of my nervousness, I tend to mess up my words and/or I practice whatever I’m about to say in my head at first. I appreciate the simplicity and am often most comfortable when I’m not getting too much attention from the world. I am sensitive – both to criticism and to others’ feelings (I sponge up the feelings and moods of people and the environment around me). Have a hard time saying no or expressing my true thoughts, feelings. I get influenced by other people’s opinions/thoughts quite hard (I take everything to the heart), that is why I tend to keep a lot to myself (may come off as a little bit tense, secretive, mysterious). I avoid the harsh reality by daydreaming (almost every day) – imagining myself in situations far from my current circumstances. Sort of like a self-escape. I worry a lot and overthink almost everything. I am easily distracted and my attention span can be quite short. I have an internal struggle between my needs and wants. I have a routine, that I follow by mostly every day, and if something small changes in that routine, I start to have a small internal anxiety attack. Also, I like to do things my own way, like, when it comes to cleaning the house or organizing stuff, etc. I get triggered even if people don’t do the laundry the way I do. I guess you could describe me as a perfectionist, clean/control freak. In triggering situations I can be impulsive, spontaneous, quick to act. Quick flare-ups of anger/annoyance when being provoked on my patience. Even when I’m feeling low, I manage to find humor in life and have fun with whatever I do have. Although I tend to bottle things up, I am an emotional person and my emotions are genuine – I love and care deeply and passionately and wish no ill will upon anyone, yet it hards for me to imagine someone falling in love with me or just liking me.

Hobbies, likes: My hobbies are cleaning, writing (re-writing song lyrics, making small notes, writing stories), listening to any type of music, catching up on my favorite films and TV shows, hanging out with friends, going to the cinema, or the club, being out in nature, reading, traveling. I like history, cooking, fashion magazines (or fashion in general), road trips, spirituality, mythology, books, orange juice, previous decades, cottage-core, dark academia.

no one can tell me that Steve doesn’t have a set routine honestly, so let me just get that out there

he seems intimidating at first, esp as a public figure and Avenger, but Steve is nothing but passionate about what he does. so it may clash w your lack of direction, but I could honestly see him envying that a lil bit, like it’s not that you don’t have direction, it’s the fact that you still have a choice in the matter.

your love of history put you in a museum, here you bumped into Steve in a horrible disguise. he struck up the conversation first, and once you got past the whole “holy crap that’s Captain America”, you could actually engage with him in the material and boi was he smitten

he would love to join you when your rewatched your fave things, bc not only is he catching up on more media he missed out on, he’s also getting to know your interests in a way that’s comfortable with you. it avoids all the small talk, but leaves room for discussion after the film/show !

since you tend to sponge up a lot of what other people believe, it’s totally Steve who actually tries to question what you think and what you feel about things. he’s someone who encourages you to have your own opinions and to stay true to those thoughts. so while with him, you can rely on him to learn about yourself, you also gain skills for independence

overall, Steve is super patient, and despite his chaotic job as Cap, he takes comfort in his routine, and would find comfort incorporating a partner’s routine into his life. and as you grow in a relationship with him, he’s patient about teaching you how to be your own person, and helping you learn more about yourself. and while it’s uncomfortable, you grow stronger throughout being with him :)

For The Hobbit - I ship you with Bilbo Baggins !

Bilbo is the definition of introvert, and you're right there with him

not that introversion is ever a bad thing, bc it isn't. but Bilbo is quite content to sit in his little hobbit hole and vibe. like Gandalf had to come find him, ya know. dude disappeared from his own bday.

but anyways. it's not that Bilbo lacks purpose, it's just that he's more content with a quieter life. and it seems like his quiet life would balance you out well! like the Shire is so so chill, and there doesn't really seem to be a lot of pressure on the hobbits to pick a profession. like they just genuinely do what needs to get done.

similarly, Bilbo is the type who seems a little bothered by mushy displays of affection. exhibit a: disappearing from his own bday. like he's much more the type to refill your tea when y'all are reading by the fireplace, which he would totally do w you

it will probs take you a little while to warm up to each, given just how introverted you both are. but when he explains that he has set ways of doing things, then if they're compatible w your ways of doing things, then it doesn't take you long to open up to him

like it'll be a little jarring, but he takes comfort in his routines too. and it'll be an event trying to incorporate both of your ways of life together, but he's willing to do it

overall, yours is a very quaint partnership, built on deep respect for one another. neither of you are going to push the other to do things you aren't into. and y'all just live your best lives together tbh :)

For The Man From U.N.C.L.E - I ship you with Illya Kuryakin !

I love my big Russian spy so much, so this is fun for me

so Illya is the epitome of reserved and generally quiet, so it might take a while to really break down his walls and talk to him. and he's not quite sure what to do with you once you join the team

but, he's playing his game of chess alone, and when you sit down and ask to play with him, he opens up a little more after that

if you're one who get sent out on mission with the team, get ready, bc sometimes those missions require a lot of improvising. but you'd probably be at whatever 'base' was, helping run operations from a more secure place. but Illya and Napoleon improvise a lot, leading to a lot of headaches for you and Waverly

Illya has small bursts of anger, but similar to Gaby, most times, you can intervene and he doesn't get violent. or when he does, he tries to make sure it isn't in front of you. but bc you care so deeply for him, you're there for him in the aftermath. and that's how you show your love for him.

by patching him up if he gets cut, by talking him down when he's angry. and just generally trying to take care of him. and he totally does the same for you, especially if you get sent out into the field

and much to Illya's dismay, Solo doesn't refrain form making jokes about you. but if you can take them in stride, then Solo welcomes you into the team just as well :)

Since it’s Pride Month, I decided this year I wanted to raid the library for a bunch of different queer books to read. Mostly graphic novels in this case, because I’ve had a hard time settling into much reading lately... thought hopefully now that it’s summer and I finally have my second shot I’ll be able to relax a bit more and dig into some heavier novels again. For now, enjoy some light, queer reads that I indulged in this June.

A Wolf Called Wander

A beautiful novel I had been hearing lots about. This story follows the young wolf Swift, who grows up knowing that he and his pack are the mountains, and the mountains are them. It’s in those mountains that he grows and learns and loves… until disaster strikes and he finds himself viciously torn apart from his family and forced out of the mountains that have always meant home to him. Forced to survive on his own. Swift then begins a gruelling journey that makes him face injury, starvation, and the everpresent danger of humans as he seeks a new place he can call home, and new people with whom he can form a pack.

This is all based on the true story of a tagged wolf known as OR-7, following the unbelievable route he took through Oregon and northern California! It was a very neat read, and I’d definitely recommend it if you enjoy stories told from an animal’s perspective because this book is a master class in it.

Bloom

I decided for June to try to read a handful of different queer books, and this was one of the first graphic novels I picked up. It is a super sweet story and the art is lovely. It’s about Ari, a boy who has just graduated high school and is now desperate to move away from his small town and his family’s struggling bakery, to join his band in the city where they hope to make it big. An agreement is finally reached: Ari’s father will let him leave, if he can find someone who can replace him in the bakery, which is how Ari meets Hector, someone who sees artistry and peace in baking. For anyone that’s read Check, Please, it gives off those types of vibes!

Boule et Bill: Bill est Maboul

Another book of Dupuis comics, because I can’t get enough of them! This one I just stumbled across and ended up reading on a whim but it was very cute. Geared younger than the others I’ve read, but still quite funny. It’s the charming hijinks of a young boy, his dog, and the family they live with. Chicken Run: Chicken Pies for the Soul

This was a ridiculous urge I got and had to follow. I recently rewatched Chicken Run (which is, of course, one of the best movies ever made) and felt the need to see if it had ever been novelized. Well, I found something better than a novelization! This is a chapter book with “advice” and stories written by the various characters, post-movie. It really does a good job with grasping the different characters’ voices and making something simple and funny out of it. It was very cute (and available on The Internet Archive if anyone else feels like reading something ridiculous!)

Doodleville

I picked this up on a whim and honestly, I shouldn’t have bothered. It was not very impressive. Very mediocre, awkward feeling artwork, and a story that only slightly manages to redeem it. The concept was kind of neat, and I did like how the ending came about, the rest was rather… plodding. I did not like the main character at all, her friends felt very Intentionally Quirky Aren’t We Cute :3 in a way that just tries too hard, and… yeah. Meh. It technically gets the “queer graphic novel flag” but it’s so in-passing that it feels rather excessive to give it that.

If you are interested, it’s about a world were doodles actually exist as living creatures that can be drawn into existence (the rather unsettling implications of which is never fully explored). This is all well and good, until the main character draws a monster and takes it with her to her art club... where it begins ravanging not only her doodles, but those of her friends. Together they need to work together to figure out how to stop this menace.

FRNCK v4

Phenomenal. I adore the FRNCK series, and book four wrapped up the first “cycle”, revealing several of the big secrets dogging the series so far, and changing how things are going to be able to run in the future.

If you haven’t seen me talk about it before, FRNCK is a graphic novel (a franco-belgian bande dessinée) about a young orphan, Franck, who’s chafing under the constant parade of uninterested foster parents that visit the orphanage he lives in. Determined to learn about his mysterious abandonment instead, he flees the orphanage… but finds himself tumbling through time, landing among a family of cave-people who rather reluctantly take him in and ensure this modern boy doesn’t die in the strange, dangerous new surroundings he finds himself in. You can get these ones in English as e-books, so if you want a really kickass graphic novel series to read please try these.

Haikyu!!

I’ve heard so much about Haikyu!! that I finally gave in and picked up the first book from the library. And I gotta say, it’s well worth the hype! This series really does capture the best parts of a good sports manga -- which is to say the team is filled with interesting, enjoyable character who all need to learn to pull together, boost each other’s strengths, and cover for each other’s weaknesses. Love me some found family tropes and this series oozes it in the best possible way. And then you also get some very cool action scenes as it makes high school volleyball seem like the most intense thing on earth. I can’t wait to continue it

Queer Eye

I haven’t been keeping up with Queer Eye but I was watching it ravenously when it first came out, and this seemed like a very cathartic book to read… and it really was. It had the same gentle, loving encouragement as the show. It doesn’t expect you to change your entire life, but to learn to embrace who you are, and take small steps to enhance those things. There a segment written (presumably) by each member of the Fab Five, explaining the mentality behind what they do on the show and how you can grow in those areas too. It’s very zen.

Spinning

I got this graphic novel out at the same time as Bloom, but it was the one that interested me less of the two... though that’s just because I have less interest in “real world” slice of life as a genre and this one is meant to be autobiographical. If you’re into that, you’ll probably love this because it really is stunning. Very pretty, and the format and pacing is all really well done. It’s a coming of age story for Tillie as she grows up dealing with a crosscountry move, complicated friendships, a burgeoning attraction to girls, and attending competitive figure skating classes.

This Place: 150 Years Retold

A stunning and heart-wrenching graphic novel told by a collection of different First Nation’s authors/artists, recounting oral histories about the 150 years since the colonialist formation of the country known as “Canada”. In other words, this is a post-apocalypse story, but one that really happened and that entire peoples are still fighting to survive. It’s very eye opening and beautifully told. Very strongly recommend the read, especially if you’re at all interested in history.

Torchwood: Serenity

Whoops, not technically a book. I had thought these were technically audiobooks at first, but rather they’re audio dramas that were played on the radio. Still, I decided to include one because I’ve been listening to them like a person possessed and they��re too fun not to at least mention. Let me indulge in my obsessions.

If you don’t know Torchwood, it’s a BBC series that spins-off from Doctor Who, focusing on the enigmatic and flirtatious Captain Jack Harkness, who is running the covert organization known as Torchwood, which is tasked to protect humanity from and prepare them for alien contact. It’s goofy and campy but also more adult and heavy than Doctor Who tends to get, so it is (in my opinion) a really fascinating series. Though it also has content warnings coming out the wazoo so maybe make sure it’s for you before delving in.

Serenity specifically is possibly one of the best Torchwood stories I’ve ever experienced. The Torchwood team concludes that there’s an undercover alien hiding in the idyllic gated community Serenity Plaza, and so that means it’s up to Jack and Ianto to go undercover as a happily married couple and flush out the alien without being discovered first. Even if it means being sickly sweet together, pretending to care about the local neighbourhood barbecues, and actually caring a bit too much about the Best Front Lawn competition. What is truly magical about this one, is that it manages to make it a Fake Dating AU despite the fact that Jack and Ianto are actually dating in canon. But they’re both used to dating as a pair of alien hunters with insanely dysfunctional lives, and who now need to figure out how to deal with domesticity. It is marvellous.

Wilderlore: The Accidental Apprentice

A middle grade novel that felt a bit like a cross between Harry Potter and Pokemon. It’s about orphan Barclay Thorne who wants nothing more than to be accepted in the rule-bound village of Dullshire, and live up to his apprenticeship as a mushroom farmer. He certainly wants nothing to do with the fearsome Beasts who live beyond the village, deep in the Woods or the sinister Lorekeepers that bond with them. It was, after all, a Beast that had killed his parents all those years ago. But when he finds himself at the very edge of the forest, hunting for an elusive mushroom, he is suddenly unable to avoid any of that. Not when a wild girl and her bonded dragon appear to summon a horrible Beast and end up getting Barclay bonded to it instead. Now, if Barclay ever wants to be welcomed back into his home, he has no choice but to venture into the Woods and find a way to sever the bond imprisoning him to the massive, monstrous wolf now imprinted on his body as a living tattoo.

I honestly can’t decide how I felt about this one. I feel like it’d be a really fun read for maybe a grade 5 to 7 student? I was a bit more meh about it. It was fine, but it was very hard not to draw unfavourable parallels to Harry Potter. But for a kid who’s never read Harry Potter? Or even an adult that has but is looking for something different to scratch that itch, this might be a good book to try. I’ll probably try reading the second book when it comes out.

They're hard workers, tho sometimes stubborn. They can be slow but they stick with it till the end. Like Kb saying it takes him a lot longer to learn the dances.

Mars: honestly a really good match, yoojung having many things at once while kb goes with the flow is perfect. Neither one argumentative. hello!! please may i have an enemy/rival matchup ?

For starters, my zodiac is a capricorn but tbh im not too sure whether or not i agree with it :)

In general i tend to get along with pretty much everyone (at least i try to). But I sometimes clash with certain people. Like, it really pisses me off when people are stubborn, sure i can respect it sometimes, but what i dont respect is when they dont bother calming down and listening to the other persons perspective. At least try to maintain peace. It’s even worse when they are the ones in the wrong. It just comes off as disrespectful and pretty immature. One of my friends is really hard to reason with and even though i love her,,, it just ticks me off a little. With my mother too, she is just stuck in her mindset (mainly around pronouns which i have to keep having to talk to her about) and starts name calling if she doesnt have her way.

I think it’s probably due to the fact that I as a person try to be quite calm when i try to approach people. Ive been brought up to be polite and have being silent when im upset is just embedded into me at this point. So, i cant relate to people who completely explode over small things.

I hate arguments. I strongly dislike how hateful people can become in them, like they have no self control and arent aware how others are feeling around them, so i just try to avoid big arguments by avoiding them and still solving it discreetly. But i get why they happen sometimes.

I think when someone is acting obnoxious, rude towards others or do something thats against my strong morals, i then speak up.

Also, would i fight a raccoon?? Usually no, we’ve got to think about the consequences of what could happen there. But if it really upset me, im sure a little kick or gun will do the job.

In general:

Alright I found this really funny because I saw this and immediately got hit with Jeff vibes. Jeff is your arch enemy. That’s just it. Like, have you met this man? He’s a goddamn mess.

Things he doesn’t like about you and how he pisses you off:

Jeff is SUCH an argumentative person. Like, if he sees something or someone he doesn’t like, he will easily cross the line of teasing you because he can to fully insulting you because he despises your existence and wants you to feel bad and cry more. Jeff is an intimidating person and will lord that over you. He will argue with you about things JUST because he can. I guarantee you this man doesn’t actually feel what he’s saying or even believe in it, he’s just saying it because it makes you mad and he finds that SO enjoyable. He will poke you and prod you until you are at your limit and laugh and sneer, giggle when you’re finally retaliating with him. Literally a devil’s advocate and just wants to see you get pissy over your high morals.

Jeff is such a stubborn individual, he will not back down for anyone or anything. He hates that you’re so “i wanna get along” because he just,,,,, wants to riot. He’s definitely capable ot calming down and listening to people he just doesn’t want to because he wants to get a rise out of you. I also feel like Jeff would fight with any zodiac sign but especially capricorns. I think my friend and I made him an Aries??? Yeah. Have fun!

Jeff is just a dick. That’s it. Like he doesn’t like you because you simply breathe and he’s gonna remind you of that whenever he sees you. He will push all your buttons and make you so frustrated just because he can. It’s both a control thing and a “ha. Suffer.” thing. Again, I don’t think Jeff actually believes any of the things he’s fighting you on, like if you told him to X he’d say Y just to make you mad, so he’s just a devil’s advocate specifically for you. Jeff isn’t a gentle person. He doesn’t care how you’re feeling and will purposely be obnoxious and rude towards others once again, to just get a rise out of you.

Weirdly enough he agrees with you pretty big on the raccoon thing - he’s not too big on harming animals unless y’know, it becomes a problem.

Hi love bug, thanks for sending in the first enemy matchup! This was fun for me to write because it’s honestly a nice way to break from all the romance stuff. I just kinda like the thought of y’all throwing hands with actual serial killers, makes me giggle. Jeff would attempt to defenestrate you but I feel like you’d avoid him and knock him on his ass. wait would you mind sharing ur process for guessing rising signs? im getting better at it but im still not very great and i would love to guess a couple peoples. thank you <3

Ohhh honestly, I usually just go with my gut. Like, literally my first reaction/thought. I don’t just think about someone’s appearance because for me, most of the people look like straight up their Sun sign. I rather look at how someone carries themselves, how they talk; their hand gestures, body language etc. Just an overall vibe. When I like to guess celebrities’ rising signs as an excercise, I watch interviews with them rather than look at photos. For example, I thought Kristen Stewart is a Gemini not because she looks like one but because she’s just suuper jittery and she uses her hands a lot when she talks. Or when I was watching some stuff of Billie Eilish she just seemed so etheral and soft, like a Pisces. Brie Larson’s attitude in all the interviews promoting Captain Marvel/Avengers is SO Aries to me, like she just wanted to pick a fight with everyone and was acting like a tough gal. (Tho both her and Billie also have physical features that are characteristic of their risings but my first guesses were based only on the overall feel they gave me).

But with that technique I feel it’s easier to guess the rising if you don’t know the rest of the chart... so you’re not biased or something. I also think it’s easier when you observe someone from a far rather than when you interact with them... That’s why I have a problem with pinpointing the ascendants of my friends who never shared their birth time with me.

My process is kind of all over the place, now that I think about it lol but I always try to think about the characteristics of that person; how would I describe them in the most simple way. I kind of mix personality traits with physical features. Knowing their Sun sign and other placements, I try to isolate them. Let’s say someone’s an Aries Sun - has rather square face features, pinkish skin undertone, wants everything NOW, likes football, is a crybaby... but their body type is more round, face pretty symmetrical and is too much of a people pleaser for an Aries and hates conflict and dresses in girly pastel clothes - we spotted a Libra rising.

This may be controversial, but as I said, most people look like their Sun signs for me so I don’t really like to guess solely by the appearance BUT if I have to, I really pay close attention to small things. Like, oh someone looks and acts like a walking talking Aries Sun (to the point where you start to think they must be a double Aries) but they’re tall, like to have their hair longer and they have a big goofy smile with big teeth and their nose is a bit long and legs be looking sturdy af. Then I throw in an observation that their style is a bit changeable so I think, ah, a mutable sign! And we have found a Sag rising!

Then I look in which houses their planets fall and see if it matches. I also like to look at the MC sign (tho sometimes it can be misleading). Saturn placements say a lot, I noticed (but maybe it’s just because I’m well versed in the way Saturn works in a chart so I know how to pick it up). Obviously Sun - but that can also be misleading (like, to this day I don’t understand how Justin Timberlake’s Sun is in the 6th house. Not very pop star of him lol... especially that it’s his chart ruler).

Last thing I do is look at synastry. If someone has a lot of friends with Pisces placements, that can tell me they either have a Pisces rising or Virgo rising. I personally always attract people who have Aqua personal planets so they have it in my 1st house. And that brings me to the thing I was talking about in that last post... So I look at my house overlays with that person. But that’s like a bonus, I wouldn’t determine someone’s rising basing only on that. It’s just more of, “yeah it would make sense that they have Gemini rising with my Mars on their ascendant that’s why I want to rip their clothes off or slap them in the face... or both”. You know what I mean?

It gets awkward tho if someone really have Sun in the same sign as rising. It can also get tricky with planets in the 1st house. You then need to really dissect things. It’s also really helpful to think how that person reacts in various situations + how they talk about certain topics. A bubbly, anxious Gemini Sun Chris Evans gets very deep and frowns his brows when he talks about serious stuff - very fitting for a Scorpio rising (Scorpio faces tend to be somewhat concentrated between their eyes, they have this eagle-like look to them).

I often need to guess risings of people who were born on the day when the Moon changes signs. That helps sometimes. So you look at the time frame when the Moon is in the sign you think it is - then ascendant options are limited.

Also, if both signs of the same axis fit, I see it as a confirmation. Remember, people often have the personality traits of their descendant sign a bit.
