Prompt (262)
The hero grabbed the villain’s hand.
“I need you to listen to me,” they said urgently. “If we don’t kiss, right now, I’m going to get shot. There’s a sniper behind you on the-”
The villain didn’t need to be told twice. They pulled the hero into them and pressed their lips together.

The hero was getting blood all over the villains nice jacket.
“I’m sorry about the blood—“ they murmured, and the villain hushed them.
“We’re almost there. Just—just stay still, okay?”
If the hero didn’t know better, they’d say the villain almost sounded afraid.
“It’s okay. M’fine.”
The villain breathed a harsh laugh, cradling the hero to their chest as they walked.
“Yes, you certainly look fine bleeding everywhere.”
There was that tone again. The hero frowned. The villain had never used that tone, especially not with them, and they had no idea what it was—
They barged into the villains apartment, as the hero realized the villain was concerned.
Oh.
The villain set them down on a couch, gently, but the hero still flinched. The villain apologized, soft and gentle, and ran their hand over the wound, assessing the damage.
The villains face went carefully blank.
The hero’s head spun, just a little, and they closed their eyes to fight it off. A moment later, they opened them to find the villain wrapping their side.
Their eyebrows crinkled.
“You—when did you get those?” Their voice cracked.
The villain looked up at them.
“Just a minute ago. You passed out,” they said calmly.
Their fingers continued deftly wrapping the bandage on the hero’s side.
“Wait. Why are you,” the hero grit their teeth as the villain brushed against the wound. “Why are you helping me.”
The villain laughed.
“For someone so observant, you miss a lot of things.”
“What is that supposed to mean?”
The villain shook their head.
“I knew you were a bit obtuse, but darling, really. Work with me.”
They tied off the bandages, helping the hero sit up against the arm of the couch. The villain held their gaze, cool and collected and concerned, all at once.
“Your powers stem from emotions, yes?”
The hero nodded, once.
“So positive emotions make you stronger. They can heal you, right?”
The hero had tried to keep that bit of information under wraps. Not only could they heal themselves if they were happy, they could heal anyone. They didn’t want to end up some tool to be used in some military stronghold. Still, they healed civilians when no one was looking.
If they were mad, though? They could destroy anything, tear concrete in half, send metal into dust.
The hero cleared their throat. “Yes. Positive emotions can heal me. Not feeling super happy right now, so I’ll get back to you on that—“
The villain sat back on their heels.
“Do you trust me?”
The hero blinked at them. They were ready to give them some bullshit answer about how they could never trust the villain and never would; but that wasn’t true. The villain had saved them, more times than they could count.
And between the agency and the villain? Well, the hero knew who they would choose.
“Yes,” they said hesitantly, and the villain kissed them.
Warmth flooded them, and they reached for the villain, tugging them closer, and the villain smiled against their mouth.
The wound on their side began to close, and the villain felt it. They smiled, pleased with themself, like a cat.
“I give you positive emotions, huh,” they said, still grinning.
“For someone so observant, you can be so obtuse—“ the villain kissed them, again, to get them to shut up. This time, the hero smiled.
The wound closed further.
“I didn’t know you liked me,” the hero murmured.”
“I tolerate you. I just happen to hate everyone else.”
The hero laughed, side twinging with pain.
The villain checked the half closed wound, then turned back to the hero.
“Kiss it better?”
The villain rolled their eyes.
This time, when the villain kissed them, the hero didn’t let them stop.

If you're looking for any prompts; hero/villain where the hero needs to get out of the villains grasp but can't and as a last ditch effort kisses the villain in a panic, hoping it'll startle them enough to let them go. Surprisingly it works. mlm if you're feeling up for it! (I ADORE you're hero/villain stuff and you're writing is a huge inspiration!!)
He kissed the villain.
It was a clumsy kiss, a mashing of lips, a bumping of noses and then -
The villain recoiled just as something sparked between them, so hard that he hit the opposite wall with a thud. He clamped a hand over his mouth.
The hero panted for breath. He should have taken the opportunity to run - that was why he'd kissed the villain in the first place - but something about the villain's expression froze him in place.
If the villain had looked disgusted, he might have laughed it off. If he'd looked dazed or distracted, the hero would already have gone. But he looked...
"Are you okay?" the hero asked.
The villain was shaking.
"Come on, I'm not that bad a kisser," the hero said. Maybe it was a trap. A con. He definitely should have already ran but...
"I'm sorry," the hero said.
"Why would you do that?"
"I - I just wanted to distract you. I panicked."
"You panicked?"
That was probably really offensive.
"Your panic reaction," the villain pressed, "is a kiss? Or, what, you just want to kiss me that bad that it was at the forefront of your mind?"
The hero swallowed. They floundered. "I'm sorry if I - are you okay?"
"It's rude to kiss people without consent," the villain said, a little closer to their normal tone. "You know that, yes?"
"It felt kinder than, I don't know, non-consensually kicking you in the balls."
The villain snorted.
The hero edged a step back, but, like a fool, still didn't run. The villain had let go of him, though. Running was a possibility without those steely, impossibly strong arms holding him in place.
Lord, why wasn't he running?
The villain's gaze roamed over his face, lingering on his lips.
"So I assume you're, like, seeing someone," the hero said, taking another step back. He ignored the weird feeling in his gut.
"No."
"You don't like kissing?"
"I don't owe you an explanation," the villain snapped. "You're not supposed to kiss me."
"You seemed like you were definitely enjoying it for a second there. Also, you're staring at my mouth, mate."
The villain's gaze shot away. His shoulders squared, jaw clenching.
"Just want to know that you're okay and that I haven't triggered a trauma or anything," the hero said. "I wasn't thinking. I - I really am sorry."
"This is the most I've ever heard you apologise."
The villain didn't normally look like that. He was still pressed against the wall, rather than lunging, even with the obvious conversation about distractions. His hand was still shaking slightly.
The villain stuffed his hand behind his back when he caught the hero watching.
Maybe the villain was stalling for time, and back up.
The hero didn't think he was stalling.
"I kill anyone I kiss," the villain said, after a moment. "Properly kiss. It takes a moment for the curse to take affect."
"...are you serious right now?"
The villain gave him a withering look.
"That's very scary and all," the hero said, "but it doesn't answer my question."
"Yes, I'm serious! Want me to kiss you so you can find out?"
The hero's brow furrowed. If that was true, then the villain's reaction, his shaking hands..."Oh my god you were worried about me. You're protecting me."
"If I wanted to kill you-" The villain began, testily.
"No, no, you don't need to get defensive. I know you're not - like - secretly a marshmallow."
They both eyed each other for a moment. The villain's gaze had paused on the hero's lips again, filled with enough longing that it made the hero's chest cleave and his mouth go dry.
"Is it just your mouth?" the hero asked.
"What?"
"The killer kissing thing. Just your mouth? Or, like, if anyone kisses you anywhere."
"Just my mouth. Not that it's any of your-"
The hero stepped close, and pressed a kiss to the villain's cheek.
The villain's breath hitched. He looked dazed. Distracted.
"Shame," the hero murmured, and brushed a thumb over the villain's lower lip, watching their eyes go doe-wide and wanting. "Because kissing you actually was on the forefront of my mind."
"O-oh."
He pressed another kiss to the villain's neck, feeling his pulse race, feeling his head tip back against the wall in offering.
"Thanks for not killing me," the hero said, against his ear. "Let's pick this up another time, yeah?"
Then, he ran.
He heard the villain curse and take chase.
But it felt better than before.

Heal me
Warnings: slightly suggestive/ kissing, touch starved Villain, sort of hurt/comfort.
Based on and inspired by this wonderful idea by the amazing @aflyingsheepnamedrose. I had to write this, it was simply eating me alive.
Villain's body hits the wall, sliding down onto the concrete floor with a loud thud. They groan, every limb of theirs aching with dull pain and acute yearning. They cough out blood but cannot stop themself from thinking about the gentle brush of Hero's fingertips against their skin that will follow once the 'battle' is over. They've been deprived of it for far longer than they could handle, their starved body longing for the pain to be followed by a touch.
Hero lands next to them, fisting their shirt to drag them into a standing position. Villain sags against the wall, heaving through every breath. Yet their injuries have positively nothing to do with the dire need flaming in their veins. It's severe, all-consuming, and it terrifies the living light out of them. Villain craves Hero's touch with the entirety of their being. Villain craves Hero.
"Think you should surrender?" Hero suggests, eyeing Villain with a hint of concern in their bright blue eyes. Their fingers feel almost tender when they curl around Villain's chin, lifting it up so their intent gaze can inspect their buttered face.
"Not yet," Villain gargles, blood filling their mouth again. They turn away, spitting it out before meeting Hero's eyes, a pleasant thrill feeling their lungs at the sight of Hero's distress.
"I won't..." Hero wants to say they won't keep up the vicious cycle they found themselves in. They won't fight Villain anymore - only to spend the following night healing them with their touch. Hero wants Villain to know that they can't keep hurting them, that it tears them apart in ways they never imagined possible, and that it is the reason they've been avoiding them. That they cannot handle witnessing - worse yet, inflicting - their pain. They want to say that Villain doesn't need injuries to have Hero showering them with kisses. They want to tell Villain they need them safe and sound, not beaten and buttered. Hero needs Villain.
But they don't say that. They can't. Instead, they threaten. "Surrender, or I won't heal you anymore."
Villain has to restrain themself from outright begging. They press their lips together, nodding shortly, and avert their eyes, gulping as their mind runs at a hundred miles a minute. Hero's hands let go of their shirt and Villain exhales shakily, shutting their eyes to suppress the shudder raking through their entire being. Something inside them quivers, helpless and desperate. Villain decides to call it disappointment, but then Hero's arms wrap around them, picking them off the ground with close to no effort.
Villain knows it's not disappointment, because the quiver in their chest grows stronger, thrashing against their ribs with unabated persistence. They refuse to open their eyes as Hero carries them all the way to their apartment and straight to their bedroom.
They lay Villain down on their bed and sit beside them, cupping their jaw with a cold hand. "Vil..." Hero's voice is small, and - if Villain didn't know better - they'd think it sounds choked up. "Look at me."
Villain groans, peeling their eyes open. The sight that greets them leaves their heart throbbing in their throat. Hero's eyes are brimming with tears, and their lips are trembling when they lean in, pressing them to Villain's forehead. They pull away, only to plant a kiss on Villain's split eyebrow, then shift to their bruising cheekbone, over to the other one - the small cut on it heals in mere seconds.
Villain watches them with bated breath, biting the inside of their cheek to keep any sounds from escaping them. Hero's hand on their jaw moves, tilting their head up as their lips trail down Villain's neck, ghosting over their collarbones. Villain registers a wet sensation on their skin but fails to process what it is until it drips down the base of their throat, leaving a damp trail in its wake.
Another drop hits Villain's burning skin, then one more. Their nemesis chooses to ignore them as their hands make quick work of Villain's shirt, pushing it open and trailing their lips down Villain's chest, fixing a broken rib back into place.
"Hero?" Villain can't help it when their hands take hold of Hero's head, lifting it off their body. Their tear-stained face wrecks Villain's heart worse than any injury could.
"I can't." Hero mutters in explanation, leaning down to plant another tender kiss onto Villain's feverish skin, their hands gripping their enemy's sides with uncharacteristic urgency. "I can't..."
"Hero, please," the pleading tone of their voice seems to snap Hero out of it as they withdraw hastily, their eyes widening. Villain moves to sit up.
"I'm sorry, I was... t-that was the last cut, y-you're all good now," Hero stutters out, panic contorting their face into a mask of horror. "I didn't mean to overstep."
Villain can't help the chuckle that escapes them at that conclusion. Their fingers brush through Hero's hair, earning a soft sigh from their nemesis. "I wasn't exactly trying to protest the kisses."
"You were not?" Hero repeats, their gaze finally daring to land on Villain as the criminal shakes their head. "I thought you wanted me to stop." Hero confesses, their head dropping, only to be brought back up again.
"No way in hell." The words fly out of their mouth before Villain can process them. They cannot bring themself to care about the consequences at this point. Not when Hero's hands are rubbing their sides unconsciously, not when they can still feel Hero's tears on their skin. "If you ask me, you don't have to stop, ever."
"What?" Hero's gaze darts back and forth between Villain's lips and eyes, wheels turning in their head as Villain watches them with a small smile tugging at the corner of their mouth. They bite their lip to keep their grin under control but fail miserably.
"You heard me," Villain states, causing Hero to roll their eyes. "Why were you crying?"
Hero freezes like a deer in headlights. Villain lets out an amused chuckle, still holding Hero's face in their hands. And, when Hero doesn't respond, Villain decides to take matters into their own hands.
"Can you heal one more cut for me?" They ask, barely containing the cheeky smile threatening to break onto their face any minute now.
Hero nods, their expression shifting into that of worry. "Yes. 'Course I can. Where?"
Villain doesn't utter a word, instead pointing to their bitten lip. They also give up on keeping a neutral expression, allowing the smug smirk to stretch in full glory.
Now that leaves Hero speechless and gaping. For several seconds, they stare at Villain in disbelief, their heart pounding heavily in their ribcage.
"Are you gonna let me bleed o-"
Villain's playful remark is cut short when Hero lunges at them, connecting their lips with more force than Villain anticipated. They fall onto their back, with Hero landing on top of them as they focus on healing Villain's 'dreadful' injury with painstaking dedication.

“You’ve seriously never thought about us kissing?” The superhero crooked an eyebrow. “We’ve been marinating in sexual tension for three years now.”
prompt by @gingerly-writing :> <333
“You’ve seriously never thought about us kissing?” The superhero crooked an eyebrow. “We’ve been marinating in sexual tension for three years now.”
The villain choked. Went to hide their blushing face.
When they cracked two fingers apart to peak, the superhero was still staring at them through their cell's reinforced bars.
"No," they said. "You're a bit too terrifying."
That was not entirely true. The superhero was terrifying, yes. Loved by the masses. Feared by the criminal underbelly of the city. But the villain was enamoured, hopelessly, by that. The contrast between their charming, friendly persona that was reserved for the masses and their true cold, calculating, dangerous demeanor left the villain hopelessly pining after them. They were incredible, truly. Perfection.
They ran their hands down their heated face and looked up.
The superhero's perfect face stared down at them. The villain looked down at their crossed legs instead. "I thought you were just toying," they mumbled. "With the flirting."
Silence, again. The villain glanced up at the superhero through their lashes.
The superhero tilted their head in observation. The villain pressed their lips into a thin line and crossed their arms, hunching their shoulders.
The superhero crouched down to meet their level. The villain tucked their chin in and leaned back, refusing to make eye contact. They heard the rustle of the superhero's gloves slipping off of their fingers. They dropped to the floor, right in front of the bars. The villain could've reached out and taken them.
"It doesn't change my offer," said the superhero. "I get you out of this cell in exchange for a kiss."
Had it not been for their dark skin, the villain was sure they would've lit up red. But they couldn't accept the offer, surely. They imagined even a brush of their fingers would leave the villain dizzy and swaying on their feet.
They recalled, once, they'd thrown a stun bomb at the superhero and had them incapacitated for almost ten minutes. The superhero had risen up, suit torn (because they had it remade every day, since it was not completely reinforced so that the public could get glimpses of their skin—and that always, always left the villain faint).
They'd had them up against the wall, smiled down, body radiating heat, and said, "well, aren't you incredible?"
The villain's knees had turned to jelly instantly.
"I can get out of here on my own," they mumbled, biting their tongue right after they spoke so their mind wouldn't conjure up more memories.
"Is that so?" The superhero feigned a curious tone. "A little birdie told me you've bruised your whole body trying to break these bars."
The villain winced. They properly glanced up at the superhero, then, and saw they had their cheek resting on their fist. Their eyes were lazily hooded. Their other hand rose to trail fingers down their neck, to the side of their collarbone.
The villain's hand rose, automatically, to their own collarbone, to the bruise there that was exposed by the loose neckline of their shirt. They pulled it close. Their cheeks flushed for a different reason, then; they hated this cell and the way it suppressed their powers. It felt like one of their limbs had been cut off. They hated the Scientist—the villain that had trapped them here—for finding a way to suppress their powers even more.
They straightened their back. "Liar. This cell's shut down my powers. Maybe it's done that to you, too." They glanced back at the number of fortified doors the superhero had sauntered through when they first entered. They could've broken through those doors with ease.
Once more, the superhero crooked an eyebrow. They lifted their cheek from their fist and closed their fingers around one of the steel bars. The villain watched as it corroded beneath their skin.
They blinked. "Oh."
The superhero spread their hand in a voila gesture, raising their brow. "Oh."
Dumbly, the villain pursed their lips. They seriously considered the offer, then. Glanced, traitorously, at the superhero's lips. Thought of how it would feel to have their mouth pressed against that lovely pair.
Their lips buzzed with sensation. Oh, they felt dizzy right then.
"I'm not an idiot, in case you weren't paying attention," said the superhero. They tilted their head and raked their eyes down the villain—intoxicating. "I can hear your heart thumping like a bunny on caffeine. I always have."
The villain squeaked and put a hand over their heart, as if that would do any good. "You—you make me nervous."
The superhero smiled, then, all sly. "I know I do."
The villain's flush heightened, impossibly so. They didn't even know they could get this flustered. "This is unfair. You knew."
"I'm a very unfair person."
"I'm bad."
The superhero shrugged. "I'm terrible."
The villain clenched their fists. Everything felt very, very hot.
The superhero leaned in. They caught the villain's chin through the bars, bare, callused fingers rough and warm on their skin. "You're good," they said. "You're very good. You're exceptional, able to outsmart even me, and you just keep your talents on the down low so that no one targets you."
Again, the villain pursed their lips into a line. Wobbly. Burning with the phantom sensation of the superhero's mouth on theirs. They had nothing to protest with, then, just the heat curling all around their body, fingers going shaky. "You'll take me out."
"Mm." The superhero tilted the villan's chin as much as the bars allowed them. Ran their fingers around the underside of their jaw. Skated up to touch one burning cheek. "To dinner. Or lunch." The corner of their mouth quirked up, devastatingly sharp and evil. "Or a nice little rooftop if you kiss me." They scraped their thumb along the curve of the villain's bottom lip.
The villain's lips parted automatically. They took in a quivering, nervous breath. "You'll get me out."
"Of course."
"How long have you liked me back?"
The superhero looked pleased. That smile, god, that smile. It wasn't made for the cameras. It was evil, mean, smug. It made the villain's heart flip hopelessly. "I might let you know if you kiss me."
The villain clutched the bars and leaned close. The steel brushed cold against their cheeks. They had to know. Was it after they first drew the superhero's blood? Or from that time one of their inventions sent the superhero flying through ten walls? Or one of the times when they had the villain blushing, pressed flush to a wall?
The superhero chuckled to themselves, gently tipped the villain's chin up, and kissed them.
The villain sighed and pulled them close and the superhero pulled them closer. Their hands snaked beneath their shirt and ran over their back, their sides, teased the edges of their waistband. It stung just slightly from the bruises, but the heat that their hands left in their wake left the villain too brainless to think of anything else but them.
The superhero leaned back first. The villain would've followed their lips mindlessly if it hadn't been for the bars. But instead they stayed there, breathless, lips burning, cheeks still pressed to the steel bars. They tapped the corroded edge of the bar the superhero had touched in urgency.
The superhero ran their hands around the bars in a huge circle, and they snapped right off. The villain barely had time to get to their feet before the superhero had scooped them up into another kiss. This one was hungrier, eager for a proper taste, and the villain had to tiptoe to properly kiss them. They leaned back for air.
"Since the stun bomb," said the superhero. "I've wanted a smart, pretty thing like you since."
"O—oh." The villain wasn't sure how to properly respond to that. They were already afraid they'd been misjudged on the smart part, maybe the superhero had kissed them dumb. But they found that they didn't need to respond, because the superhero was kissing them again.
They walked out hand in hand. The superhero dropped them off on a nice little rooftop, cheeks still burning, lips still buzzing and swollen.
The villain touched a hand to their cheek, feeling the heat there.
Oh, they were head over heels.

Man.
You know what I think I love the most about Bill Cipher? It’s the ability for this one character to be the worst possible being known to man yet one thing can make us question everything we know about his character.
I think about the Axolotl poem A LOT and I think it speaks to how much one little thing can change everything. The Reddit AMA as well. There’s so many little things outside of the show that really made me (and I’m sure many others as well) feel not quite finished with Gravity Falls.
I think back to that interview Hirsch did with The Mary Sue way back when. The one where he talked about leaving Bill’s return up in the air in case he ever wanted to go back to it. I think this book is him coming back to it.
I don’t really know my point in this short ramble, I think I’m just really excited to see his point of view. His thoughts on the Axolotl. His silly little projection onto Mabel. Even if he’s lying, I want to know how this goofy fictional villain thinks. One minute he’s rearranging faces, the next? Silly Straws!
To me I guess I don’t really care about what his backstory ends up being. I don’t really care if he actually liked so and so character or not.
I just wanna know if he’ll slip up and tell the truth.

Winter's Kiss - Part 2
Sorry I'm rusty but I had a nice time working on this!
Tumblr media
Part 1
Most people assumed that having ice powers meant Villain was immune to the cold. Surely being surrounded by her element only comforted and empowered her further.
What it really meant was that Villain had never truly been warm in her life. Always haunted by a biting chill that rooted in her bones and flooded her veins.
The summer months were easy enough for her to stay regulated in. Her body naturally fended off the scathing blaze of summer sun, meeting something close enough to equilibrium that she didn't have to shiver.
Winter was different. The scales dipped in one, unanimous direction. There was nothing to balance the overwhelming cold, steely and all-encompassing.
Thus, fighting on an icy rooftop, bitter wind stinging her cheeks, and frost clinging to her lashes, did not put her in a particularly amiable mood.
“Shouldn't you be wearing a coat?” she snapped at her nemesis, fighting off the urge to tremble as ice shot to life in her numbed palms.
Hero landed neatly in front of her, blushy nose and pink ears the only indicator that the weather affected him at all. His lips bloomed in a too-pleased smile. “Nope. The new suit has intelligent thermal-regulatory technology. In other words, I'm toasty as…uh…toast. Shouldn’t you?”
Villain’s gaze flicked over him. She could see, now, the steam radiating around him from his stupid heated costume.
Her skin ached for a taste of that kind of blanketing warmth.
A coat did her little good when the cold stemmed from the inside out. She hated him for it. Her glare was as sharp as the icicles in her hands.
Hero stepped closer and his smug smile faltered. He looked her over in turn. “Are you….cold?”
If she could glare any harder, her eyes would bleed.
“My entire existence is cold, I have never not been cold,” she said through clenched teeth. “Now let's wrap this up, Sunshine, so that I can go home and set the thermostat to 85° and hope that maybe, just maybe, I can take the edge off this- this corpse-numb, never-ending, godforsaken winter!”
Her bones felt only distantly attached to her body, dull and torpid as a rotting log.
She took a step toward him and her knees buckled beneath her. Hands caught her waist, lowering her to the ground.
Her breath caught up in lungs scraped raw, mind sweeping blank. All she could focus on was the delightfully warm palms against her sides.
“Villain?” Hero’s brow knitted in concern. Pulling one of his gloves off with his teeth, Hero touched a hand to Villain's cheek before wincing and shaking the icy sting from his bare fingers. “Sh*t, Villain, you're beyond freezing.”
Villain was barely listening. She reached for him as if magnetized, clutching at the heat emanating from his chest. Something pathetically close to a whimper slipped free at the barest fraction of relief, dropping her face against the blazing hollow of his neck.
Hero hissed against the no-doubt unbearable cold of her skin against his. She couldn’t bring herself to care, and he didn’t shove her away.
There was a pause.
“.....Let the record show that you’re the one cuddling me this time.”
Villain scowled. “Shut up.” Her fingers flexed against the smooth fabric of his suit. “This is- is just temporary, and then I’m going to stab you in the face.”
Fingers stroked her hair, brushing the accumulating snowflakes away. There was a click and shuffle as Hero shifted, wrapping her trembling form up in his cape.
“Stab me tomorrow. We’ll rain check.” Scooping her into his arms, Hero stood up.
“Hey-”
“Don’t worry, babe.” Hero’s stupid sunny smile was back, teasing and prettier than she cared to admit. “We’re nemeses with benefits, I don’t actually want you dead. Most of the time.”
Villain’s cheeks might have warmed if she could feel them. Her teeth chattered. “Sp- Speak for yourself, Sunshine. And don’t say nemeses with benefits. You’re em- embarrassing me.”
Hero’s feet lifted off of the ground and they were moving through the air. Villain glanced down at the world below them before shielding her face from the abusive wind with his cape.
He could drop her to shatter on the pavement. Fragile as ice.
They touched down minutes later, and Villain didn’t bother to pull the cape away from her face to check where they were. Maybe if she pretended to be asleep, Hero wouldn’t put her down… She couldn’t imagine peeling herself away from the shallow reprieve of his body warmth.
Hero shifted Villain’s weight into one arm. Metal jangled, followed by the rustling of a doorknob. Pushing it open with his foot, she felt Hero cross the threshold.
Peeking through the threads of Hero’s cape, warm lamplight washed the room in a honey glow as he clicked on the light. He shut the door and locked it.
Her ears perked up at the familiar crackle of flames dancing nearby. She tugged the cape down just below her eyes, still blanketing her nose and cheeks.
Hero chuckled. “That got your attention.” He pulled a chair in front of the fireplace and sat down with her puddled in his lap. His free hand smoothed back her hair, staticky from his cape. “Better?”
The glorious heat rolled over them in waves, and Villain bared her pink fingers toward it, eyes fluttering closed. “Mmm.”
Lips summer-hot and gentle pressed against her jaw. Warmth sparked low in her belly for an entirely new reason. Her breathing stuttered, turning her face toward his.
Hero took an icy hand in his, blowing warm breath against her knuckles.
The bone-deep ache began to thaw. Her eyes glued to his.
Her beautiful, insufferable,.. kind idiot.
She leaned in. “If you tell anyone about this, I’ll kill you in your sleep.”
A haughty and fond smile lit up his face. “Kill me when winter ends.”
Eyes flitting down to his perfect mouth, Villain caught his searing lips with her own. They chased the chill away together.
Neither of them wanted winter to end.

Prompt (321)
"Oh no," the hero said in horror. "What did I just do?"
They had just kissed the villain. Their sworn enemy. The person who they had vowed to bring to justice.
What's worse, they were already in a relationship.
The villain stared, amused. When would the hero realize that the villain and the hero's partner were the same person?

Just For You
"Was it worth it?" Hero rasped, their throat bobbing as they gulped, their eyes glistening as they watched the fires blazing in front of them.
Villain smirked, their fingers carding through Hero's hair, "Anything is worth it for you, my love, Every single innocent life, every building that's engulfed with flames from my very own hand- it's worth it. Just for you."

FEBUWHUMP 2023 DAY 16 - Semi-conscious
CW: recapture, drugging, intimate Whumper, non-con kiss
・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・
Hero tried to escape again.
Naturally, they didn't get very far; Henchman caught them shortly after they sneaked out the main building. They were so careful and planned every step in advance, but in all their eager forgot to calculate Villain's increased security personnel. Whatever had been in the vial Henchman forced down their gullet just moments prior, made their vision swim.
The treetops radiated with the light bursting through them, Hero basked in the golden rays of the August sun, the worries about Villain's reaction fading far away. Of course, they would be upset with them, but that little detail didn't matter right now. The leaves-
The next time their eyes opened, they were inside the manor walls. Unsure about how many minutes had passed, Hero tried to focus again on the lights above. The sun had been replaced by the dim chandelier overhead the dinner table, seeming to cast light with a halo-like sheen across the room.
Somewhere deep inside their mind, they recognized their prison, the building they were trapped in for the last few weeks. But that thought was now buried, washed away by the dust particles floating through the air gracefully, like a gentle fall of snow during the winter months...
"-you listening?" a faint voice called out to them. Maybe Hero should snap back, stand up to fight their way out again. But not now, they loved to just stare for a little while longer. The worries of tomorrow could wait.
--------
Villain waited for a response, even shaking their captive didn't seem to change the blank stare towards the ceiling. They looked peaceful, a certain calm was radiating from their limp form, slumped in their designated chair. As if looking right through them, Hero let their droopy eyes roll from side to side, untroubled by the world around them.
There was something Villain didn't expect: a light smile danced around Hero's lips, even though dry and ripping, but content nonetheless.
"How much did you give them?", they asked Henchmen, all the while petting Hero's hair gently, a gesture of affection they were normally punished for with vicious resistance.
"The - the whole thing," they answered uncertain, not wanting to risk any consequences for possibly damaging the precious good, "I wanted to ensure a safe transport and-"
"You can leave now," their boss interrupted them calmly, an unusual luster to their eyes. Henchman would keep all their fingers for today. "You may all go, enjoy your day off."
With that, the two enemies were left alone. Villain sat down next to their guest, filled with artificial bliss the potion still pumped through their system, Hero didn't even bat an eye at their gentle touches anymore.
--------
From time to time, they could see quick shadows interrupting the surrounding snow, brushing hair from their face or taking their pulse. Rationally, Hero should have known it would come to something like this, after rejecting the invitations of their nemesis countless times. They were slowly gaining back some control about their mind and body, exhausted but still prepared to start the fight anew.
Suddenly, a kind but firm hand took hold of their head to tilt it back. Thin liquid started to coat the inside of their mouth, like cherry wine but way too bitter, making Hero quickly gulp it down with a confused moan. The aftertaste was horrifyingly familiar.
"That's it," Villain purred against their ear, so close, the distance between them was barely more than a hair's breadth. They continued to keep Hero's head between their hands, stopping the vertigo for just a moment, before the candles in front of them started to lose shape again. Their flicker smeared across their view like an oil painting and smothered them into a forced ease.
"I think I will keep you like this, at least for a bit longer..."
Hero's inner screams deafened in an instant, the only feeling left were the soft lips of Villain against their own.

Fawn
A group of heroes and one Scientist sit together, laughing and joking around. Scientist quietly says they need to go home, and leave for their car.
Hopping in, they turn on their favourite station and start up the car. The drive home is a blur of traffic lights and buildings and cars.
The Scientist trudges upstairs to their apartment, unlocking the door and stumbling a little as they walk inside. The apartment is small, but filled with various trinkets and decorations, Scientist discards their bag on the floor, then retreats to their bedroom to lie down. Soft breathing is the only sound in the room as they rest on the mattress, gazing up at the fairy lights covering the ceiling. Sparkles in their eyes Scientist drifts off.
Clashing and banging awakens the scientist, groggy eyed they walk over to the source of the sound. Supervillain stands surrounded by pots and pans in their kitchen.
“Supervillain?! What are you doing in my kitchen? Why is there pots everwhere? What happened?” Scientist rubs their eyes to make sure they’re not seeing things.
They’re not.
Supervillain stares at them.
“Darling that’s none of your concern, what’s more important is why your apartment is such a mess I can barely walk in here!”
“What. Nevermind. It’s not for you, Supervillain. Get out”
“Not unless you come with me~” The villain’s voice is light, like they’re teasing an old friend.
“Get out.” Scientist refuses to budge.
“Aw, but I just got here!”
The villain tries to walk slyly over to Scientist but the pots are in the way, banging loudly as they move.
“Darling I’m going to need you to come with me” Supervillain pulls out a vial of Scientist’s latest experiment — a poison untraceable even to the one poisoned. “Unless you want to be the first to try this.”
Shit.
Scientist’s eyes blow wide with barely masked fear, their better judgment shutting off in panic. They know this response of theirs — fawn until the threat isn’t a threat anymore — but this is Supervillain. That may very well never happen. Still there isn’t exactly anything a scientist who’s never fought before can do against the most powerful villain in the city.
So they fawn. A small nod seals their fate, as Supervillain grabs their arm and drags them to their car.

Part two???? For your lonely wife???
Mmmmm anything for you baby...
Part 1
Tumblr media
Headline Pt. 2
Villain pushed through the door, one hand gripping the handle tight enough to make it squeak under the pressure and the other gripping the back of their target's dress shirt. They shoved them forwards, causing them to stumble and hit the ground as they wheezed, hands tied behind their back, mind blurry and drugged while they slowly lost consciousness of their situation.
The criminal didn't turn back to make sure the hero had joined them before they slammed the door shut, they were fuming and exhausted and not nearly drunk enough. The two drinks from earlier were long gone and now they were just overwhelmed and pissy.
There was no need to double check if their target was secure enough or not, the sedative coursing through their veins at the moment was made for elephants so if they weren't out yet, they weren't human. And if they weren't human, it wasn't Villains problem any longer, their superiors could deal with that shit show.
They stormed off down the hallway leading to the hero and their bedroom, shedding their coat and stripping from their too warm event wear. Worn only for special occasions and undercover missions, not for surplus amounts of time in uncomfortable environments.
Hero was following close behind, if they weren't still so tipsy they might have been worried about their lover's state, but under the influence they couldn't help but find it hot.
"Mmm, almost grabbed the wrong person, hm?" Their tone was teasing, but Villain still refused to make eye-contact.
By the end of the night, Hero's mission had gone sideways. They were too drunk, their co-worker was too close and Villain was too angry. Instead of a secretive information gathering night, it had turned into a kidnapping-almost-gone-wrong.
Villain swore they never let their personal life meddle with their work life, but when they found half of their sedative doused into the bloodstream of the hero's touchy co-worker, they realized maybe they were wrong. They had tried to play it off to the hero like an innocent accident, but they weren't buying it so they decided to ditch the subject entirely and mend whatever scraps of their mission were left.
Refilling their sedative and locating their target was easy, bringing them back home and restraining them was easy, avoiding their partner was the exact opposite.
"It was an accident."
Hero hummed, completely unconvinced as they shedded their top. "Sure, sweetheart..." Their drunken drawl hadn't left, but their stutter was gone along with their unbalanced stumble.
The criminal grumbled under their breath, walking into the bathroom to scrub their face and arms down with cold water, it was the only solution to their irritation when it got this bad. They didn't want to get mad nor lash out at the hero for nothing, pointless arguing was exactly that; pointless.
Only once the water was freezing did they run their hands under it, flinching at the temperature but already the screaming in their head was quieted. It only took a few seconds for the method to kick into place completely. Villain lavished in the calm for once, splashing the water on their face and rubbing it along their neck and shoulders, their arms and elbows, wrists and hands.
They were only dragged back to the present by the hero's soft hands on their back, drawing lines gently with their nails down their spine. Villain sighed, shutting off the water and wiping themselves off with their assigned shower towel.
"That really messed with your head, hm?"
Villain didn't answer, swiping more at their face with their towel as a distraction.
"You know... I'm yours and you're mine. Nobody and nothing is ever going to change that~"
"I'm fine." It came out strangled and when their eyes met, Villains were bloodshot. Hero worried for a second that the water wasn't just to calm them down, but also to hide their tears. They had always assumed their relationship was open enough to talk about those hard to deal with emotions, maybe not...
Out of instinct Hero reached out to stop the villain from leaving the cramped bathroom, but their reflexes were still hindered by the alcohol and they were too slow. Forcing their legs to move them back to the bedroom no matter how much they wobbled.
Somehow, Villain had managed to slide on pyjamas and turn off the light in their room before Hero could reach the door. Entering the room just in time to hear their lover lumbering into bed, the squeaky springs and heavy blanket giving them away.
"Villain-" They tripped over their own feet, arms outstretched as they braced for contact with the hard ground. But they never hit it. Villain - as much as they were angry - had jumped up and caught the hero in time, pulling them in close to their chest in a hug.
And they melted, drunk and overworked, they both melted into each other. Villain didn't necessarily breakdown, but they definitely hugged the hero tighter than they would in any normal situation. Squeezing them and burying their face in the crook of their neck as they breathed deeply before helping the hero back and onto the bed.
"Someone's jealous~" If now wasn't the time for teasing, Villain didn't make it known. Settling for a simple nod against the hero as they pulled them close in bed. "Well you don't have to worry, okay? I'm all yours, baby..."
Villain hummed in agreement, before Hero found their lips pressed together. The criminal's hands were wandering and the crime-stopper's didn't hesitate to start their own adventure. Rough skin meeting some soft, nails sweetly scraping against old scars that made them both shiver.
In a quick shift, the villain had managed to crawl on top of the other, their kiss only deepening, the occasional giggle escaping as their hips rubbed together. "You're mine." Villain whispered, hands creeping lower.
Hero shivered with anticipation, "All yours."
