Hello! I saw request were open so i was wondering if i could request some headcanons of the Archons and/or the Adepti meeting a God reader who is the God of Chaos and destruction. The reader is not a Archon tho and travels all over Teyvat cuz small bits of destruction were ever they go. They're pretty mischievous and somewhat smug but despite how they act they're actually a good person. They dont mean to cause problems(most of the time anyways) chaos follows them were ever they go. Idk if you have a character limit but if you do please tell me so i wont make a mistake again. And if there is you can just do Zhongli and Xiao. Optionally could you make them a dendro user, there not a lot of dendro content and if not thats fine. I understand. Could you make the reader Gn or Non-binary they/them pronouns please? If not male reader is totally fine. Im so sorry for the long post and I hope you have a good day/night!
Ohmy, it’s my first time just writing headcanons! I’m use to write a lot, so let’s hope I did it right (^ ^' )7
Thanks for the request! ✨

VENTI
To be honest, he didn't notice your presence at first. He had other concerns on his mind that day to perceive the chaotic (and slightly threatening) aura that Mondstadt was infected with that day.
Barbatos is a person of habit, so he couldn't help but be curious when the crowd in front of him began to look a little agitated instead of seeming to enjoy his lyre and his songs.
But then a series of domino events appeared in front of his very eyes.
The purity of the chaos was such that he felt overwhelmed, even without the white-haired boy around, if it wasn’t Bennett fault, then how was it possible for everything to be ruined in such a short time?
His patience ended when, out of nowhere, the strings of his lyre jumped close to his face as they snapped. Making that awful noise that couldn’t mean nothing good.
Okay, enough, who is messing around in here? No more joking in his nation!
He concentrated a little, a faint but unique presence kept his nerves on edge, as if he was being watched from afar. He moved away from the busy areas and then chased that ephemeral energy to the highest point of the church, where the bells were ringing in an irregular and stressful way.
Then he found you. Snoozing against one of the columns, somewhat tired because the trip you made to reach Mondstadt.
Surprisingly, Barbatos understood you since the first exchange of words. A god of chaos who was also a free spirit, you followed no rules ever written in Teyvat, and you had no plans to apologize for the mess you made.
Both of you were Zhongli’s worst nightmare, but that’s another story.
He managed to through your arrogance and your teasing nature that you, in fact, were a lonely spirit that liked to witness the life from above of everyone.
The difference between teasing someone accidentally and committing a crime was really visible, but he still couldn't help but feel like he should scold you after your mere presence messed up with the guild's baskets full of fish.
But hey! He also enjoy the company! Venti tried to teach you how to enjoy the calm and the whisper of wind, music can also contain chaos, feelings, old stories waiting to be told again, expressions and desire united, in a wonderful piece of-
As you yawned his lyre broke up again. Making clear the message.
Okay, not even God of Freedom and Wind can control chaos. Anyways, what a tragedy, but there’s nothing a simple bard can do, smh.
“Do you like kids, don’t you?” He said once, after a nice day of hearing him sing before your chaos reached his little concert. Again watching everyone from above on the hands of the statue, with your attention caught by some kids playing tag.
“… I don’t know what do you mean.” Once discovered you had no choice but to remain defensive, pretending to be disinterested.
“Heh, you aren’t a good liar.” It may not be the wisest thing to make fun of someone who could destroy the place where you were resting, but Venti was confident that he knew you well enough to know that you were not so explosive. “You know!, I just have some pieces, but I think it’s because they are little walking concentrations of pure and innocent chaos, am I wrong?”
He wasn’t, no at all. But you would never confess something that embarrassing.
This guy wrote a ballad about the days when Mondstadt got immerse with that strike of bad luck. Kind of an apology of not being able to handle the situation.
Now there’s the rumor that says that, every time somebody sings that song, something unlucky will happen in front of you.
The song is cursed.
One night when the moon was shining on the Cider Lake his well tuned ears distinguished a melody that was broken from time to time by the accidents of his performer, distracting him of his way to look for you.
It could be painful to listen to, but Venti could certainly feel the dedication of the one who was playing the imperfect song.
The ballad of the god of chaos, hummed like a lullaby that instead of making you sleep makes you question the events of the day. Wishing for the slightest thing to be different after an exhaustive week of peace and tranquility.
A lonely spirits cursing their existence, sitting in the highest point of a stranger’s palace, where you can reach the sky by only rising your hand.
The next day, Barbatos invited you to drink some wine, this time near Windrise to avoid accidents in the city.
As he almost dropped the bottle when a lot of slimes were attracted by your presence, he confirmed the theory about that the way to spend time with you would not be his personal definition of hanging out.

ZHONGLI
Okay, there’s only two scenarios that could happened when you set a foot in Liyue.
Old man has a soft spot for you for being a relative young deity.
Or he’s always lecturing you for not having control of your aura and powers.
How u dare bringing chaos to the nation of order? It’s that a death wish?
Jokes aside, you’re not really a threat. And he could sense that after he saw how you tried to avoid having direct contact with the city. Rex Lapis found your silhouette jumping and crossing through the mountains until reaching the fairest point that allowed you to enjoy the view of the streets that were filled with life and light as the sunsets.
He even noticed how you sighed in frustration when a storm started out of nowhere. A rain dedicated just for the arriving of the God of Chaos. Not even bothering of getting shield, you stayed in your place to look at all the people who were getting back to their places.
The rain seemed to stop over your head, for a second was enough to stop you from being cruelly swamped by the very weather you had created. An elegant umbrella covered you, the long awaited surprise you expected from someone as outdated as Morax.
You looked up, and found his expression calm and attentive, watching you. As if he had made a great discovery that he could not believe
“May I have a moment of your time to keep you company? Letting out your sorrows in the middle of a torrential storm is not what I would recommend as way to spend a good day.”
“… What are you talking about? Get in your own business, old man.”
“Well, you should know that a sorrow shared is a sorrow halved.”
Next time you knew was that he was helping you to dry your hair with a towel once you let him guide you to his place.
Zhongli picked you up like a abandoned cat that day. Even if having you near meant to deal with new the roof leaks.
Also kept you away from Hu Tao, if you two ever get along for being partners in crime he would seal himself underground-
For all the time you spend exploring Liyue, there he was. Like a little kid showing his treasures. But also like a worried father looking after his child for them not to stumble making their first steps.
Look at you! Almost crushing those Treasure Hoarders when a bunch of rocks fell down after you jumped at the edge of the cliff.
Wait, no- come back here! You should verify the surroundings and be aware of the weight of your power if you’re going to explore in that bold way. You, chaotic brat.
Another one who believed fervently that your mood was to blame for the constant chaos you caused. He also tried to show you the wonders of peace and calm, teaching you how to prepare tea while listening to the storyteller (also both being a little far away from the rest of them, just in case).
He couldn’t help but sigh when the teapot arm broke as soon as you tried to serve the tea. What a waste, he thought.
You apologized to him, kind of stressed with yourself after you took all the pieces with your bare hands to run away with them. Leaving a confused Zhongli behind.
Next day you were back, with the teapot repaired and just like new.
He let out a lot of thankful words, some flattering and a lot more cheesy things that you never had received before.
With that unexpected affection you couldn’t help but react flustered; then a cat that was chasing a bird jumped through a lot of decorations and merchandise, almost starting a fire as the chained events kept going.
Yeah,, uh, Zhongli got some useful mental notes about you and your chaos that day.
Hey, before you go, want to make a contract? You won’t regret it!
But as the wandering spirit you were you had no problems in reject his offer, but also promising that you would visit Liyue if he wanted you to.
Of course he wanted! But.. maybe next time you should stay in Huaguang Stone Forest instead of roaming near the city,,

XIAO
Tried to kill you.
I mean, your aura is threatening and full of a destructive energy, how is possible that you weren’t a demon to eradicate??
Sorry, but he had a point.
Your first met was on your way to reach Huaguang Stone Forest along with Zhongli for introduce you with the Adeptus.
Xiao, in the other side, thought that you were about to attack Morax from behind, so he just struck against you. With his polearm near to go through your chest, just stopped because you felt him before.
Lifting your hand at his direction, summoning chaos, this time, on purpose. The wind gained a wrathful nature and the biggest roots that were hiding under his feet rose to caught him.
And when you were about to hit each other Zhongli’s shield appeared just in time to separate both of you. Preventing a real catastrophic event.
Now stop fighting and introduce to each other.
Nice(n’t) to meet u.
What if you tried to awake Azhdaha to bring chaos and destruction to Liyue? What if you wanted to summoned Osial? What if… ?
Zhongli had to confirm and promise to him that those cruel possibilities won’t be a near future for respecting the real reason of your travel.
No matter if he wasn’t comfortable with your presence, it wasn’t his decision to allow you to roam freely, so he had to get use to it.
He immediately knew after hearing about your nature that was your fault that lately there were a lot more demons and monsters. Even his karma was getting more painful than usual.
(If you ever meet Hu Tao, please think twice before doing Xiao a prank)
You both didn’t interact a lot, and being honest, it was better that way.
He hadn’t a single intention of talking with you again until the day you were practicing the song that your Anemo friend taught you. By the other hand, Xiao noticed that the melody had the same nature as the one he once heard before being consumed by the karma.
It wasn’t a flute, but a worn lyre that was still in one piece after weeks of being repaired again and again.
“That song… ”
“Do you know it?” Xiao just nodded, staying in silence, being your very first audience even if you still have a lot to learn about playing a lyre.
It wasn’t as effective as the original, but was still… nice, kind of nostalgic.
Next morning, the Yaksha called for you. Made you stay still in the middle of a plain and then he disappeared of your sight.
He abandoned y- wait, what’s that? Why those monsters has that weird dark aura?
You were about to defend yourself until Xiao appeared back just in time to defeat them.
That day you became his personal bait for demons and monsters. Naturally you attracted chaos, so anyway you were, there will be also something to fight.
I guess this is your way to pay for all the troubles you made for him and his duty, so no complaining about it.
If you ask for a unexpected experience to Ganyu she would said that once she found both of you fighting along against the catastrophe, looking after each other’s back and almost having a perfect synchrony.

SHOGUN RAIDEN; EI
Also tried to kill you.
Well, the puppet tried to.
And then Ei tried when you had the opportunity of facing her.
But since killing a god just mean the releasing of a lot, pure, energy she couldn’t afford that risk, much less considering your “speciality”.
Who knows what would happen to Inazuma if your vital energy burst across the nation. Just like that old story about Sal Terrae and their goddess.
She just defeated you. Letting you rest and recovering in the midst of the plane of her reality within her mind. Your inert body in the middle of the battlefield as she kept meditating.
When you woke up she ignored your presence, but also denying your complaints about letting you go out back.
In her words, you were a burden, another enemy of eternity. Something as unpredictable as you and your “accidents” couldn’t get along with her utopia.
Ei could banish you from Inazuma, but she knows your type. Stubborn and not accepting the most simple orders to obey.
She knew that you would found a way to be back.
It’s better like this.
And in the hypothetical case of you being freed when she trapped the traveler (kicking you out) and then having a chance to see her again after the end of the war, then things would be somewhat different.
There’s not that much of civilization on some islands, so she allowed you to explore as much as your heart wanted. But if something serious happen, she promised that would end her work in the middle of the sea so your remains never be found.
Okay, message clear. Just do chaos near monsters and bandits, got it,,
Even if she wanted to spend some time with you and telling you some stories about Inazuma and other gods she couldn’t found the right time to call you at her presence.
As the current ruler of Inazuma she was busier than the rest of Archons you have meet. Maybe just some letters now and then like a way to keep a logbook, but not really a face to face talk.
Until she got the opportunity of a day off, just to found you messing around near some ruins. Trying to solve a puzzle before your speciality strikes in. The structure fell down after your fingertips reached the stone.
When the dust dissipated, you discovered her figure judging you from the other side of the remain ruins.
Give her a good reason for not errase you from the map, I dare u.
You felt the worst was about to come when Ei ordered you to follow her after a long sigh. Crossing her arms and starting to walk away from the bunch of old and worn rock.
Plot Twist, she actually invited you to rest under a tree, asking in her serene voice the reason for your journey and your origin. In such a direct way that it seemed more like a sentence than a talk to get to know each other better.
You answered what you could remember and then the silence stayed like the only way of interaction between you two.
Ohno, you know this pattern. Something’s about to happen-
“There is some strange beauty in the chaos, it may be the calm after the storm, but the catastrophe itself is seen as a necessary evil to appreciate the stillness. How much it would last until the lighting hit the valley?”
“So I arrived to keep order between the humans?”
Well yes, but actually no.
“… You see, if there is nothing but order and a lack of problems, mortals are likely to create them on their own. Their minds feels the need to be tested, to prove their worth, so I guess some of your chaos may be part of the history.”
“… then shall we take a walk in Inazuma?” You did not know if you were right, but you thought you saw a faint smile through his lips in the same way that lightning can be seen in the sky.
“I’ll allow it.” She said.
Her only condition was for you not to approach the huge boxes of fireworks down the street.

Proposal fic + hair (braiding/brushing) InuKag
Ooh thanks Nonny 😘
Okay, I'm gonna revive an AU I've never actually written but it's been loitering around in the back of my head forever. I may even write it one day if I feel like doing a longer AU full of comedy fluff. The first bit was posted on Tumblr forever ago, but now it gets to be continued!
Inuyasha wasn’t quite sure how he fell into it; who would have thought you could make a career out of being a model for romance covers for fuck’s sake?! Apparently his half-demon heritage that had blessed him with his father's long thick white hair, amber eyes that glowed in the darkness and pointed dog ears gave him an edgy look, whatever that meant. His ability to retain a lean muscular build no matter what he ate didn't hurt either.
But, the money was very good, even if he had to fight off the occasional stalker, and hide from screaming female fans trying to stuff underwear in his pockets when he went out to buy milk.
His manager Miroku was a total letch, and Sango had been slacking on security - waking up to find a strange woman in his kitchen making coffee in nothing but an apron was more than a little surprising. He actually had more than a sneaking suspicion that something was going on between those two.
But the best part of being a model was Kagome. His photographer, his best friend. He'd known her for years now, and there was no one he trusted more.
Their first photo shoot three years ago had been memorable. He’d accidentally called her Kikyo, and she'd exploded at him. How was he to know? They looked kinda the same, and they were both photographers. It did kinda suck that her cousin Kikyo had possibly ruined her chances of having a serious career in photo journalism, but this gig she was doin’ paid the bills right?
Why did she have to be so serious anyway? He’d abandoned any thoughts of self respect long ago. When you knew what it was like at the very bottom, didn’t know where your next meal was coming from, you understood that self respect was a luxury.
Ah, but Kagome. He couldn't help but love her. Even though this wasn't what she wanted to be doing, she put her whole heart and soul into her work, wanting it to be the best. He knew all her little mannerisms by heart - the way she blew upwards into her fringe when she was feeling frustrated, the way she jiggled her legs under the table when she was feeling fidgety, the way her eyes lit up when she got a good idea for a shot.
He'd always said he'd do anything for her, would gladly take a bullet for her. He'd already blocked a knife attack for her, that had to count for something, right? He'd never been more terrified when she'd been threatened, and the thought of what might had happened if he'd left just a little earlier still broke him out in a cold sweat sometimes.
They'd been closer after her life was threatened, so much closer. He'd been hopeful, but pretty sure she still only saw him as a friend. I mean, how cliche was it for a model to fall for a photographer? He was pretty sure she'd think he was joking, and laugh right in his face. And then on the steps after the trial against that stalker she'd kissed him. And it had been like the heavens had opened and angels had sung.
Kagome had always wanted to be a photo journalist. She'd dreamed of it since high school, starting her career with the local paper, gaining notice when she won a world renowned travel photography competition. That was the chance that should have got her a job with a top magazine, the chance that should have made her career. But it had been stolen by her cousin Kikyo.
Kikyo, who had been her flatmate when they finished high school, so they could share their passion for photography and help support each other in their move to New York as they tried to achieve their dreams. Kikyo, who had taken the message about the year long internship she had been offered after they saw her winning photo. Kikyo, whose features were similar enough to her own that they were often mistaken for each other, if you didn't know both of them that well. Kikyo, who had turned up for that internship and somehow convinced them that she'd used a different name for the competition.
Her cousin had milked that experience for everything it was worth. And now she was the one working for a world renowned magazine, and Kagome was paying rent doing cover photos for romance novels. She may be the best one in her field, but it wasn't quite what she'd dreamed of. It's not like she'd wished upon a star when she was five and asked if she could be the one to discover the next Fabio.
The best thing about her work was spending time with Inuyasha. She'd been so angry at him the first day they'd met all those years ago. Fresh from a weekend at a family event where she'd had to hear once again that Kikyo couldn't make it because she was overseas, doing some big story, and they were all so proud of her. And he'd called her Kikyo, because he'd seen some article recently and mistakenly thought she was her cousin. After she'd calmed down, she couldn't really fault him. They had the same last name, same initial, even looked similar enough.
But he'd grown on her. And it wasn't just his good looks - he had those in abundance, but he didn't really seem to care about that. He was rough around the edges, a little rude, definitely obnoxious, but very funny, charming, brave, and also... kind of sweet?
That day she'd had that terrible cold but had still come to work because they'd had a deadline, he'd given her his jacket and then rushed out to the supermarket at lunch time so he could make her a sure fire cold remedy his mother had taught him. It had tasted absolutely feral, but surprisingly, she'd felt a lot better the next day.
Just a few weeks ago, they had finalised the court case with Inuyasha's stalker. For some reason, Jakotsu, one of Inuyasha's most ardent fans, had bizarrely seen Kagome as a threat, even though it was obvious they were only friends.
At first it was just strange letters delivered to her workplace, which she'd ignored totally. She'd only begun to be worried when weird notes appeared in her own letter box at her apartment. And then the late night phone calls had started.
She'd managed to keep it from Inuyasha until Jakotsu had slashed her tyres, and then he'd been furious. Angry at her for not telling him what was happening, and incandescent with rage at the stalker.
After that he'd been there for her whenever she'd been afraid, so protective and caring. When Jakotsu had snuck up on her late one night in the parking lot, he'd blocked the attack, stepping in front of her in the nick of time, taking a slash to his arm that was originally aimed at her face, then knocking out Jakotsu and holding him until the police arrived.
He'd been the one injured, with nearly 20 stitches in his forearm, but he'd been worried about her. Thank goodness for swift youkai healing. She'd been devastated that he'd been injured, but he'd just shrugged it off, telling her he was glad it was him and not her.
After that, she'd finally admitted to herself that her feelings for him were more than just friendly. Had been for such a long time now. He was gorgeous, but she wasn't the kind of girl that slept around. She needed to be friends first, be comfortable, and there was no one she was more comfortable around than Inuyasha. He was her first thought in the morning and her last at night. But wasn't that a little cliche, a photographer falling for a model? She'd thought he'd probably think she was joking and laugh in her face.
But that moment after the trial and they'd been standing out in the sunlight, she hadn't been able to help herself. She was just so happy, so grateful that he hadn't been injured worse. So she'd practically crash tackled him and kissed him. No tentative pecks. No warning. She couldn't bear to let another day pass without him knowing how she felt. And when he'd kissed her back, with Miroku and Sango cat calling in the background, yelling at them to get a room, it had felt like heaven.
"Where's Yura this morning?" asked Inuyasha, glancing around the make up room, as if she would suddenly appear out of nowhere with her ever present combs and scissors.
"She's called in sick, so you've got me on double duty today. Aren't you lucky?" Kagome teased, poking her tongue out at him.
"So, you gonna model with me too?" he grinned, wrapping his arm around her waist and holding her close to rub his nose softly againt hers. "Who's gonna take the happy snaps?"
"You wish. It's a new model today, Tuva, we haven't met her before. This is for the viking one, so we needed someone with fair hair and pale skin. The photos in her online portfolio are gorgeous. And the agency recommended her, so she should be fine."
Kagome gave him a quick peck on the cheek, laughing at his pouting face, then patted the chair in front of the mirror. "Sit down already will you? I called her earlier to let her know what was going on and she offered to get her own hair and makeup done at the studio there, so now I've just got to do you."
Inuyasha couldn't help the flutter down low in his stomach at her statement, even though he knew she'd meant it innocently enough. She began by brushing his long hair and he closed his eyes, feeling the regular pull of the brush on his scalp, her fingers gently protecting his ears from the rough bristles.
Damn that felt good. If he were a cat he'd be purring, and it took every inch of self control to not let out a deep rumbling growl of pleasure when she ran her hands through his hair, pulling the top back and securing it in a rough pompadour with a ponytail behind his head.
Then her nimble fingers were making small cornrow braids near his temples, adding little leather thongs and silver charms. The gentle tugging of his scalp felt so good. He squirmed in his seat a little, keeping his eyes closed.
"Sorry, am I pulling too hard?"
"Nah, feels so damn good. You're a natural at this. Wanna change careers and become my hairdresser?"
She pretended to think a moment, then giggled.
"Maybe. You're hair is fun to play with. It's much prettier than mine."
He opened his eyes, watching her as her deft fingers twisted his hair together.
"Nope. Untrue. Have you ever seen your hair in the sunlight Kagome? The way it shimmers almost blue? It's beautiful."
Her cheeks pinked, and she glanced at the mirror, her eyes fluttering downwards again when he caught her eyes.
"Stop. You're the one that's the freaking model, Inuyasha. Let me concentrate on this or we'll be behind schedule."
"So Ms. Higurashi can take a compliment about her photography skills but not her person? That's kinda weird don't you think? Especially when you're so pretty."
"Inuuuu..."
"C'mere", he said, tugging on her arm to move her into his lap, ignoring her squawk of protest. "Why can't my pretty girl take a compliment from me, huh?"
"I can! But we're at work right now Inuyasha!"
"Alright, prove it. Look in the mirror and say what I say, and then I'll let you go." She squirmed but he tightened his arm around her waist, pinning him close to her. "Gotta do what I say Higurashi. Gotta keep the talent happy!" She smacked his arm, still trying to wriggle out of his hold, doing her best to hold in her smile, but failing miserably.
"So, how should I keep the talent happy Inuyasha?" she smirked. "You were pretty happy when I left your apartment last night."
He moved his head to rest on her shoulder, looking at her reflection in the mirror.
"Ah, but that's where you're very wrong pretty girl." Kagome's face fell.
"You didn't enjoy last night?"
"Oh I did. Very much", he grinned, bucking his hips underneath her, then kissing a path down the arch of her neck onto her shoulder. "But then you left. And I was in that big empty bed all alone, with no one to keep me company."
"Oh, poor you. You know why I left Inuyasha. You needed to have a good night's sleep before the shoot today, and you know what would have happened if I'd stayed longer. There wouldn't have been much sleeping going on."
He nuzzled into her neck. "Maybe not, but this talent would have been much much happier. I don't want you to leave anymore." Kagome froze.
"You... you want me to move in with you?"
"I want you to move in", he said, his teasing face now serious. "I want you to be with me always. I know we've only been going out for a month Kagome, but I love you. I've loved you for years. And that's not going to change."
She turned on his lap so they were now facing each other, cradling his cheeks in her palms. "I love you too", she whispered. "So much."
"Would it be crazy if... if I said I wanted even more than that?" he asked softly, his eyes searching hers. "Would it be crazy if I said I want to be more than just your boyfriend, that I want more than you moving in. That I want us to belong to each other? And tell the whole world about it?"
Kagome's eyes widened, and her heart began beating wildly in her chest.
"That sounds an awful lot like a marriage proposal Inuyasha."
"That's because, maybe it is. We wasted so much time Kagome. I don't wanna waste another second. Please say yes."
"How could I say no to those puppy dog eyes of yours?" she giggled wetly, her eyes filling with happy tears.

Su/gf crossover things part 2
(sorry if these aren't that good!)
------------------------
Dipper: So... that glowing pink thing?
Steven: Yeah?
Dipper: Why does that happen exactly?
Steven: Oh, I'm not sure... I guess when I don't feel well? It's like a burst of energy when it happens...when i feel like i need to run away or just...-
Dipper: Oh! Like a flight or fight response!
Steven: What is-
Dipper, taking out the journal: Interesting...
Steven: What's a-
Dipper: mumbles to himself
Steven: ...Nevermind.
------------------------
Steven: Hey Mabel! what are you-
Steven: Mabel.
Mabel, putting fake gems on waddles face: Whaaat... he likes it...
Steven: Why didn't you ask me to help you?
Mabel: :D
------------------------
Mabel: OH! YOU CAN DO SHAPESHIFTING, RIGHT?
Steven: Oh, yeah, but-
Mabel: Can you turn into anything!? Like a unicorn! Or a hamster! You can do this hamster ball thing, so!
Steven: uuhh haha... I don't really... like shapeshifting... sorry..
Mabel: Aw, why?
Steven: It's just... some things happened when I did...
Mabel: Like what?
Dipper: Mabel, don't bother him! If he doesn't like it then leave him alone.
Mabel: Yeahh... you're right. Sorry Steven!
Steven: Nono, it's okay, don't worry!
------------------------
this is something different than the "steven has the same powers as bill so dipper is sus" writing post i made lol (basically this one is just silly)
Dipper, walking around in circles: It's just... what does that star symbolize?
Mabel: What do you mean?
Dipper: The star on his shirt, Mabel! Does it have to do with this gem stuff? Is it related to his powers?
Mabel: Uh...Dipper, why are you questioning something like that?
Dipper: Well, he showed me a picture of himself when he was younger, and he always had this star on his shirt! Why?
Mabel: Maybe he just likes stars? Come on, bro. It's just some shirt design.
Dipper: I don't know...
later
Dipper: Steven... okay, so, this will sound weird but what does that star on your shirt mean?
Steven: Huh?
Dipper, pointing at it: You always have that star on your shirt. Does it have to do with your powers or something? Is it some magical shirt?
Steven: Oooh hahaha! No no, it's just my dads merchandise. Just like that pine tree on your hat, I'm guessing?
Dipper: ...Oh. Well then. rips a page from a notebook
Steven: ...Seriously?
Dipper: Yes, seriously.
------------------------
So what if something dangerous happens and steven completely turns pink also starts turns into his buff chad form (haha edgy)
Steven, in that form: Oh, oh no no no... oh no.. shit..
Dipper: Wha-
Mabel: What!?
Steven: Oh god, Mabel and Dipper, d-don't look at me!
Dipper: ...Does that new form... hurt you?
Steven: What? uh.. no.
Steven: I- I didn't want you guys to see me like this!
Dipper: No, no, it's uh, okay!
Mabel: Yeah, we're here! Don't worry!
Steven, slowly getting smaller do his normal form: It's just..
Steven, as his pink glow fades: This just hasn't happened in a while...
later
Mabel: Well, I made you some chocolate milk!
Steven: Thanks, Mabel.
Dipper: So... you better now? You're smaller than when you were well... all pink and glowy
Steven: Yeah, yeah i'm better now. I guess I need to tell this to my therapist though.
Mabel: You better! I don't want to see you hurt :(
------------------------
Steven: Hey do guys wanna fly
Dipper: Wh-
Mabel: YES!
Dipper: Um... what do you mean with "fly"?
Steven: I have floating powers. I can just carry you two and well.. fly around
Mabel: Oh my god!!! really!?
Steven: Yeah!
Dipper: How come you're just randomly suggesting this?
Steven: Well, strange things have been happening here in Gravity Falls, so I just wanted to lighten the mood up a little bit.
Dipper: Alright, then
Mabel: YEAHH!!! LETS FLOAT!
------------------------
Mabel, Dipper and Steven are basically floating now
Mabel: THIS IS AMAZING!!! You can float and summon a hamster ball! That's like, the best thing EVER!
Steven: hahah, yeah! ...Dipper you alright?
Dipper, absolutely worried that he's going to fall: y.. yes.
Steven: I can drop you off-
Dipper: AH- NO!
Steven: I mean like... slowly help you land on your feet again, yknow?
Dipper: Oh, uh, yes... please..
Steven: Alright!
------------------------
Mabel: Tickle attack!
Dipper: Mabel no- hahaha! Stop!
Steven, entering the room: Hey guys
Mabel, staring at him: >:)
Steven: o h n o
------------------------
Dipper: Is this your real form? You can shapeshift, after all.
Steven: Yes?
Dipper: HMM
Steven: How could I prove it to you anyways?
Dipper: I don't know-
Steven: Here, a picture of when I was younger. I can assure you that's me, and my 'real' form haha
Dipper: ...Wow you were small
Steven: You're one to talk
Dipper: Hey!
Steven: Haha!
Steven: Oh, by the way, you know that I don't like shapeshifting, right?
Dipper: Yeah... I guess you don't.
------------------------
Mabel: Uuughh I'm so bored
Dipper: Yeah, me too.
Steven: Do you guys wanna uh, bake something? maybe?
Mabel: Hmmm... like what
Steven: Oh! Have you heard of cookie cats?
Dipper: Cookie cats?
Steven: Here, let me show you a picture of them shows a picture of it from his phone
Mabel: It looks so cute!
Steven: We can bake this if you guys wanna?
Dipper: Well, we don't have anything else to do.
Mabel and Steven: Yeah!
------------------------
steven and dipper are just walking around the woods cause why not
Dipper: Ouch!
Steven: What happened? Are you okay?
Dipper: Yeah, it's just...I just scratched myself on this branch, i didn't even see it.
Steven: Oh, that's no problem! licks his finger
Dipper: uh-
Steven: puts his finger on Dippers wound there!
Dipper, healed: WH- HOW?
Steven: I have healing powers :)
Dipper: You surprise me everyday...
Dipper, whispering: Maybe I should tell Ford... hmm..
------------------------
again before they knew steven is half gem
Mabel: I love gems!
Steven: Me too! Even though some tried to kill me, most of them didn't really know what they were doing. Mostly when they were corrupted.
Mabel: H..huh?
------------------------
Mabel: Your girlfriend sure is cool Steven!
Steven: Yeah, I love her a lot.
Mabel:
Mabel: :")
Steven:
Steven: Uh-
Mabel: No, no. It's just cute. Don't mind me. I hope when I'm a teenager I can find love like this. Haha...
------------------------
Steven: You guys' grunkle is really nice!
Dipper: Yeah, at first he can be a bit mean, but in reality he's a great guy if he wants to be. Trust me, I've been there.
Steven: Aw... I said that cause he gave me something for free. That's a start, I guess?
Dipper: Sure is.
------------------------
Stan, going through a box of old stuff: Ahaha, yeah. Brings back some good old memories.
Steven: Oh, can I look? If you don't mind?
Stan: Sure kid.
Steven: ...
Steven: A... Space Train to the Cosmos CD?
Stan: Yeah, haha. He has the same last name as you. I remember listening to him years ago.
Steven: Mr. Pines... this is my dad. Greg Universe.
Stan: ... What.
------------------------
this is before D & M met Ford, I guess? (if this takes place when D & M arrive to GF for the first time)
Steven: So... what's that?
Dipper: Ah! It's uh- it's nothing. haha...
Steven: Dipper, are you okay? What are you holding there?
Dipper: sighs It's just...
Mabel: IT'S A JOURNAL!
Dipper: Mabel!
Steven: Oh, like a diary? That's cool.
Dipper: It's... more than that, actually.
Mabel: Come on! Let's just tell him!
Dippers: Well, uh, it's basically a journal that has a lot of information written down from all these weird monsters and creatures in Gravity Falls. I still have no idea who the author is.
Steven: Wow... Have you told Mr. Pines?
Dipper: He didn't take it seriously.
Steven: Hmm...
------------------------
Steven: I don't understand your purpose... nor do I understand why you look like that
Steven: But I support you
Soos: Dude it's just square pizza
------------------------
Connie visits again
Steven: Connie! Hey!
Connie: Steven!
they go for a hug, then fuse
Stevonnie: ...Uh-oh.
Mabel: :D WOOOO!!! HOW???
Dipper: >:0
Dipper: WHAT THE FUCK??
------------------------
Ford: This is so interesting... a half-gem, half-human.
Ford: Tell me, what can you do?
Steven: Well, I can summon a shield. I have healing powers. I can bring plants to life. I can bubble things up. I can also have destruct- oh, I uh, I actually don't like talking about that.
Ford: ...Can you show me your shield?
Steven: sure summons his shield
Ford: Wh- how do you do that?
Steven: Well, it's my gem that just summons it when I want to.
Ford: So how powerful is it?
Steven: Oh, pretty powerful, I guess? I was able to protect myself from the diamonds- oh uh, yeah, the uh diamonds are the most strongest gem, by the way. Yellow tried to step on me and tried to uh, hurt me haha but it's okay now.
Ford: Wow! So, how tall and strong are these diamonds? And uh, that's crazy she did that. But do tell me more.
Steven: They're really tall. I don't exactly know how much but as tall as a skyscraper... maybe taller? I'm not sure. The tallest one is White.
Ford: Interesting... I'm guessing you're a diamond too? You were able to protect yourself, after all.
Steven: starts glowing pink a little
Ford: Huh!?
Steven: Ah- sorry, sorry! That just happens sometimes!
Ford: Glowing pink... hm...
------------------------
Imagine they all (Stan, Soos, Steven, Dipper and Mabel) fall into that one bottomless pit. Steven completely panics because the others are falling and he's worried to the point where he just forgets about his floating powers. But after the others start telling some of their stories, he calms down. They turn around to him and ask him if he could tell a story aswell. He tells them about how cool it was to learn combat with his (now girl-)friend Connie. How at that point he learned something very important. The others listen very well to him, and as he finishes the story they, surprisingly, fall out of the bottomless pit. After this Mabel and Dipper ask Steven about the things he has learned and if he could teach them.
------------------------
Mabel and Dipper: wearing their peanut butter and jelly costumes
Steven: Hahaha! That looks nice, why are you dressed like that?
Mabel: Summerween!
Steven: Oh, I've never heard of that! :D
Dipper: Yeah cause they honestly just made all of this up.
------------------------
Steven hanging out with the other teens!!! Very important!!! He needs to learn how to "act his age", y'know what I mean? explore around. take some risks (that are not traumatising, thank you). just be a teenager in general.
(i could make a whole other post for this tbh)
------------------------
Stan: You have literally no legal documents, kid.
Steven: Yeahh...
Stan: I love it!
------------------------
Robbie: And who are you?
Steven: Oh I just, uh, work here.
Robbie: Yeah? With Wendy, huh?
Steven: Oh! Yeah, she's my workmate, I guess?
Robbie: Hm... right.
Robbie: walks past him while elbowing him in an aggressive way
Steven, whispering: Yikes... scary.
Dipper, from the back: I know right!?
------------------------
Mabel, goofing around, doing some weird stuff: hehehe
Steven: Wow... thinking about it, she'd get along with Amethyst.
------------------------
Mabel: gasp Oh my gosh! Steven, look at Waddles and Lion!
Lion and Waddles: literally just staring at eachother
Mabel and Steven, with star eyes: Awww....
------------------------
Wendy: Dude, your girlfriend seems really cool.
Steven: Oh, yeah! She's great. She's really smart and pretty, she can sing and play the violin... she can sword fight-
Wendy: Wait wait wait... sword fight?
Steven: Yeah!
Wendy: Your girlfriend rides a pink lion and can sword fight? That's so cool!
Steven, full of love: Ah, yeah... she's amazing...
------------------------
Hope y'all enjoyed this one. This is the second part! Even though none of these are in any order, so it doesn't matter. But here's the first one. Also, I just wanted to say something about the shapeshifting thing: I do enjoy posts where Steven shapeshifts to make his arm or whatever longer to help. It's really cute, but in my opinion (again, my opinion) I feel like after steven turning into a cat and kaiju monster, he'd be way too uncomfortable to shapeshift. It'd also remind him of when he became taller, buff and was glowing pink. That's just what I think. :-)

„This is definitely NOT happening right now.”
You felt a familiar warmth creeping up your cheeks, a feeling all too familiar.
And all you could tell was that it wasn’t a blush of a pleasant feeling of any sort, it was the angry and flaming blush which was an evident signal of you starting to loose all your cool.
And you nearly did loose all your remaining cool in one go as soon as you looked down on your bathroom floor where you were crouching.
As good as half of your previously perfectly cleaned and shining bathroom floor was now all covered in little cat treats which fell from the ripped open packaging, leaving annoying crumbs on your new jeans, on the floor where they fell, some of them rolling away through the entire bathroom and stopping just when they hit the side of your bathtub.
Usually, you would take the scissors to open something like this neatly, but not knowing why, just today you decided to open it solely with your hands.
And just today, in that precise moment when you were about to open it with intention to surprise your cat with new snacks, your doorbell which unfortunately was loud as freak decided to invade the peaceful silence of your apartment and startle you almost to death, the result of it being you literally ripping the packaging open and creating a great mess.
Well, not that it was the doorbell which rang on its own and decided to make you hate this morning, but rather the person standing outside and ringing it.
It was exactly seven o’clock in the morning, and since you didn’t expect anyone at this early hour anyway, your blood started to boil once again as you could already tell who it was.
You let out a loud annoyed groan, slowly standing up. You didn’t even think of cleaning up the current mess present in your bathroom right now, you went out and made sure to close the door so that your cat couldn’t barge in and eat everything at once.
You would deal with it later.
Now, you needed to deal with another, much more nerve pulling problem.
You grabbed your phone which was laying on a little white table in your long corridor, throwing one quick glance at the screen to confirm your suspicion on who was behind your door just now.
Ten missed calls.
Twenty five unread messages.
And two snaps.
An almost disgusted expression made its way on your beautiful face, you let out yet another groan and walked towards your door.
You stopped right in front of it, wondering that maybe, just maybe, you could pretend as if you weren’t at home, but you decided that it wouldn’t do much now, as your annoyed groans were probably too loud to fail to hear, even through the closed thick door.
You didn’t even care or try to mask your pained expression as you decisively swung the door open, revealing a sight all too familiar to you.
Way too familiar, you weren’t even seeing your own reflection as often as what was before you at your doorstep.
„Are you waking up looking already like an ethereal goddess?”
You squinted your eyes, contemplating whether to just slam the door and lock it, disable the doorbell, and throw your phone through the window or just deal with it again.
You gave the light haired boy at your doorstep a look full of an unmasked disapproval, regretting taking so long to think, given that even if you really wanted it was already too late to slam the wooden door in his face as he smoothly slid past you into your apartment.
„Byun Baekhyun.” You said through your gritted teeth, trying to be as calm as you could.
The said boy turned around, placing his hand on the closed door next to your head.
What in the world was it, a move taken from some Korean drama?
„Y/L/N Y/N.” He mirrored you, saying your own name. „Why aren’t you answering me? I called you what feels like million times.”
„Yeah, figures, it was ten times, ten times too much.” You said, crossing your arms on your chest.
„Wh-”
„Baekhyun, I swear, how many times did I already tell you to stop following me around like some puppy.” You said as you pushed his hand away and proceeded to walk through your corridor to the living room, him just following closely behind you without adding anything.
Before you entered your living room, you abruptly turned around to face him, making him pretty much hit his head on the doorframe.
Well deserved.
„You are seriously like a man-child. You know that?” You asked rhetorically.
„My mom told me to follow my dreams, so that’s what I’ve been doing past these two months.” Baekhyun said, as if it was the most casual thing to say.
You only squinted your eyes again in response. „That was so bad.”
„Was it?” He walked past you into your living room, stopping by your white couch and tracing circles on the soft pillows with his finger. „I think it wasn’t.”
Alright, no, he was starting to ramble on.
You couldn’t continue talking like this, not when his sole presence was already driving you mad by now.
„Dude, I swear” You muttered under your nose. „So what do I owe this wonderful visit this time? And why are you looking as if a military van ran you over? Did you even sleep last night?” You questioned, critically observing the state he was in.
His light hair looked a little damp, whilst the visible redness of his chocolate eyes and dark circles underneath them looked like an evident lack of solid sleep.
Baekhyun let out a deep breath, playing with the silver ring on his finger. „Um. I need a place to stay.”
„You need what?” You widened your eyes. „Listen, I know you have load of friends. Go ask your boys!” You spat, wondering who did he think he was.
Whoever he thought himself to be, he wasn’t.
„But the question is, why do you need a place to stay out of nowhere?” You asked.
„Well” He started. „My mom left for a business trip and I, um, I don’t have the keys to our apartment. I forgot them inside.” He said, sounding at least a LITTLE bit ashamed of himself.
„And where were you last night?”
„I was out for drinks and stuff with friends...” He bent over your couch, resting his elbows on the pillows and massaging his temples.
„W-wait, wait.” You paused. „Baekhyun, are you drunk?” You asked the boy incredulously.
After hearing your question, he immediately straightened himself, as if trying to look composed even though it was obvious that he looked everything else but that. „I feel fine.”
You just couldn’t believe this.
„Dude, how baked are you?” You asked even more incredulously. „Haha, baked, Baekhyun, get it? Okay, never mind.” You quickly disappeared into your kitchen before he could make any comment on your obviously bad joke.
You opened the cupboard, looking for black tea for him, hoping that it would be able to shake him more awake and return clarity to his mind.
Just as you were opening the little elegant tea box, you heard Baekhyun’s voice coming from the living room.
„Awe, Earl Grey!”
You took a look at the tea bag in your hand. „Yeah, I’m making you earl grey!” You shouted back, not thinking much.
But then you almost burned yourself with the hot steaming water for tea, as the next thing you heard was a loud, not content meow.
Your cat must’ve woken up and come into the living room, judging by the tone of his meowing not being particularly happy about what he had found there.
You should’ve realized right away as soon as you heard Baekhyun’s voice, unfortunately the damage had been already done.
Your cat’s name was Earl Grey.
And he absolutely hated Baekhyun.
You thought that there wasn’t any particular reason for why Earl Grey visibly despised the careless boy, given that he was always nice to your cat every time he showed up.
You quickly filled the prepared cup with water and rushed into the living room.
You expected to be met with a very questionable scene, but instead you found only your beloved cat sitting on the couch and looking straight at you with big eyes.
Baekhyun was nowhere to be seen.
„Earl Grey, my baby, where did our baked Baek disappear?” You asked as you crouched in front of your couch and lovingly hugged Earl Grey, giving him a little kiss on his soft little forehead.
You went to the corridor again, looking around you.
Where did he go?
„Baekhyun?” You called.
Nothing.
„Baekhyun!”
Still nothing.
You already wanted to let out a loud groan once again, when you noticed a movement inside your bedroom.
Without hesitation you barged into your bedroom, your arms falling to your sides as you saw the view before you.
Baekhyun was there, unceremoniously laying on your bed, on your NEW soft covers, one leg on the mattress whilst the other one on the floor, eating the cake you left on your desk and leaving small cake crumbs all over the green and white pastel sheets.
„This is sick.” You said, surprisingly feeling the urge to let out a laugh, struggling to hold it back. „You’re getting crumbs all over my bed.”
You came closer to your bed, kneeling next to it and looking at Baekhyun who now was just staring at the ceiling.
„Baek, I made you some black tea. Go and drink it.” You said.
He slowly turned to his side, facing you. His eyes looked sleepy now.
Well, no wonder if he pulled an all-nighter with drinks.
You slightly widened your eyes as he suddenly caught you off guard by very gently taking your hand. „Will you like me if I drink it?” He asked, his eyes fixed on yours. „I just want you to look more kindly at me... I just want you to like me too...” His words were becoming always softer and quieter, as if fading with every second, his sleepiness taking over.
You didn’t know what it was, but you felt as if something just melted in your heart at this sight, the corner of your lips lifting ever so slightly at the sound of these mumbled innocent confessions.
Not even a minute later, Baekhyun was completely asleep, still holding onto your hand.
You could tell that he really needed that sleep, so you decided to just let him be.
You hesitated a little as you reached your hand out to trace a soft line on his forehead, gently brushing away the loose locks of light blonde hair fallen on his closed eyes.
His breathing was calm and even, given how quickly he fell asleep he must’ve been really beyond exhausted.
You carefully slid your hand out of his hold, placing a little panda bear plushie on the spot where your hand was before quietly leaving your room and going back to the living room.
You plopped on the couch next to Earl Grey who, now laying there and playing with his little mouse plushie, seemed to already forget about what happened there earlier.
You intertwined your fingers, looking at some invisible point in the space of your four walls.
„He will drink the tea if I will like him, huh?” You said to yourself.
You shifted in your seat, sitting more comfortably and reaching your hand out to gently scratch your cat behind the ear.
„Well, about not liking him, it is actually just you who he should worry about, right Earl Grey?”
Your cat immediately looked at you, as if he understood clearly what you just said. He stopped playing with his plushie and softly bumped his head on your arm, looking in the direction of your room.
„You will give him a chance?” You asked, placing your hand on your cat’s little fluffy head.
You turned your head to look to the corridor yourself.
„Yeah, maybe I should too.”

You-Know-Who
Crowley x Reader
Prompt: You sold your soul, but continued to be human after ten years due to helping around Hell and being Crowley's assistant. You fell for each other, and boom came the rise of Lucifer, who forced you to be his new toy and assistant.
Originally a two-parter on my Wattpad book but condensed for one here!
Word Count: basically 4000.

"Won't you ride my white horse? What kind of bloody garbage is this?" Crowley demanded, his red eyes glowing hauntingly in the motel room. The only light was the sun that seeped through the blinds of the scratched windows. You had seen Crowley angry, of course, but he appeared ten times worse now. He was livid... and frightened.
"I don't know, Crowley," you responded, a bit of an edge weaseled its way into your voice. "He just gave me the papers to deliver to you."
You rubbed the side of your temple, exhausted. Lucifer had you working just less than twenty four hours a day. You were only human and needed sleep. Crowley noticed and his eyes flashed back to normal, softening instantly. He nodded and scanned through the packet again.
You knew the two of you were an odd pair; you sold your soul at twenty because you had lost almost all despair once your cat Marney died - she was the last family you had. You had been visiting a friend with Marney at fifteen when your parents and brother all died in a car wreck. So you found a demon and made your ten year deal, demanding and receiving your cat back. Once you died, you met the King of Hell to determine your fate. He thought your story was stupid, so he wanted to teach you a lesson and hired you to be his assistant, while also giving you your life back. A couple years passed, and you had fallen for Crowley.
Here you two were again, supposed to be on opposite sides. Crowley was on the run after Lucifer rose, decapitated his mother, took his throne, and forced you to be by his side. Of course you had tried to escape, with and without your lover's help, but Lucifer had managed to find your soul and kept a leash on it. You went where he went unless he summoned you to do his bidding. And his latest order just happened to be to find Crowley and deliver the letter, without knowing the intimate connection the two of you shared.
"This is practically written in gibberish. Look at this." He flipped to the third page and you were expecting something completely different. Your fingers touched as you held the papers, trying to decipher a code. However, you quickly realized you recognized the words.
"Crowley," you released a small, genuine laugh, the first one in at least a month. "This is a song, from a few years ago, by Ozzy Osborne. It's called Mr. Crowley. It's supposed to be in the biblical sense. I don't know why he would give this to you. It doesn't seem threatening."
You both held the lyrics into the light to get a better look.
"Maybe not. But a song? Are you sure? About me? Why in Purgatory would someone do that, biblical or not?" Crowley asked, seeming flabbergasted, though more calm. His eyes danced to yours.
You smiled at him, glad for the few minutes to spend together. You didn't know when Lucifer would call you back. You knew that once he found out about your relationship, he would never allow you to be the one to communicate with Crowley again.
"There's a lot of things in Ozzy's mind that I'm not sure about. Look, I know we aren't going to have much time today. He's been driv-" You were interrupted.
"He as in Lucifer?" Crowley asked for confirmation, setting the papers on the tangled and messy bed, though it wasn't like that when you first came in.
You gasped, wanting to smack your forehead. How could you not have told him! Crowley heard and turned towards you, curious of your reaction.
"Don't say his name! He can hear!" You started freaking out by breathing rapidly and shaking your hands wildly. Crowley immediately took your hands to calm you. He engulfed you in a hug. This wasn't something Crowley normally did. During the day, he wasn't a very physical person, but he knew you needed comfort.
"Y/N, don't worry. It's alright. You are safe for now," Crowley assured you. You took a breath and nodded into his shoulder. When you were certain that He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named was not going to be in the motel room momentarily, you stepped away. You prayed that he wouldn't hear, but knew that wouldn't work. God had been incognito for years.
"Pull yourself together. You know we don't have much time. Don't try to figure out the song right now. I'll worry about that later, darling. Y/N, tell me what he's been up to. Has Lu- has he hurt you?" Crowley asked, setting you down on the edge of the bed.
Lucifer was the devil. He would hurt, maim, kill, torture. He would do anything to get what he wants. He had hurt you no less than five times within the week so far. Mostly minor cuts, except for when Lucifer almost slit your throat when the waiter at Starbucks gave you the wrong type of coffee. He was a bit high maintenance. Then there were the times he had shoved his tongue down your throat and you looked at your knees.
"Nothing that can't be fixed with time." You tried to sound brave, but Crowley could see right through you. You could feel his protectiveness enter the room as he sat next to you, taking your hand. It would usually make you smile, seeing the one drop of humanity left in him, considering it was always directed to you. Now, you wished it weren't there. The Crowley you first met wouldn't have pity on you.
"What did that damned devil do to you?" Crowley asked, his fingers tightening in yours.
Instead of his usual suit, the former King of Hell wore a pair of dark jeans, khaki button down, and boots. You were in nothing better, torn jeans, old Converse, a tank top under a high school sweatshirt. It was what you were wearing when Lucifer rose from Hell and took you. You had been able to wash the outfit and yourself only three times so far with your little spare time.
You leaned the top of your head onto his shoulder, thinking of what the right answer should be. You had barely begun to speak when your eyes started to water. Your stomach churned. If you weren't already sitting, your knees would have buckled. There was only one person that could emit so much terror into a person.
"Crowley, run." You barely squeaked out with a low grunt, clutching his hand.
Even if he had had time, you knew he wouldn't have disappeared. Not without you, and the both of you knew Lucifer could find you quicker than he could snap his fingers. There he was. The powerful entity stood casually in the center of the room, arms crossed impatiently. His eyes were dark, yet somehow playful. His pout was anything but sympathetic. It stood more along the lines of a cruel sneer.
"Well, what's going on here?" He feigned thoughtfulness before bursting into a surprised I-Know-Now face. "Oh! Let me take a guess. You two were planning to run off! I probably should have seen this sooner, but I never really imagined that Y/N would stoop to an ex-crossroads demon. What a surprise! Now, I suppose I'll have to make an actual demon do my deals... Y/N, sweetie, you were doing great. I'll keep you, but for something else entirely."
You wanted to puke. Your cheeks were bright red. You felt nauseous. Just your everyday feelings next to just Lucifer. When he spoke, all attention was drawn to him. Not only did he crave it, but it was natural. He was a warrior angel. He was absolutely ruthless.
"If you think you can lay one measly-" Crowley began speaking, furious and fast. He immediately stood up from the bed. You remained there for a second longer, staring up at the one you loved, knowing this would be one of the last times you would see him in a long time. Finally, you stood, knowing hope has all but slapped you in the face.
"You can't stop me, Crowley," Lucifer said, his voice lowered, almost soothing. "And neither can you, Y/N. Hell's not the most entertaining, but it will work for now."
He eyed the two of you, your fingers itching to wrap around Crowley's. The tension grew as chills ran up your arms, which was soon replaced by a burning heat. You staggered back a step with wide eyes. The sensation began at your finger tips, making it way slowly and menacingly up your arms, down your torso, and swiveled around the bottom half of your body. You released a groan as it hit your pelvis and stumbled into the nightstand. You felt a shadow cross over your front protectively. Your vision was starting to fade. Your head throbbed as it landed harsh against thin weaves of string, somehow formed into carpet.
"What have you done," hissed Crowley. As your vision blurred, the last thing you remembered was seeing the former King of Hell, the last person you loved, standing above you.
<->
When you came to, you were on the bed again. You felt sore all over. Finally, you recalled the latest turn of events, which were not pleasant ones. Except for the last that you remember. Crowley.
His name prompted you to sit upwards, which was a horrible idea. Your headache was still there and more painful than it had been. You let your head fall back against the pillow and groaned. This was not going to work.
"Y/N? Darling, are you awake?" A British voice rang out.
"Mhm," you mumbled, still trying to sit up. You felt a cold hand move into yours, which was surprisingly sweaty. You blinked twice, still dazed. Crowley hovered over you.
"Hey, how are you feeling?" His voice came out, low, almost nervous. He looked at you for barely a second. Immediately, you felt that something was off.
"I feel fine, actually." You mustered up a convincing smile. "What happened?"
"Well, Lucifer was strangling you. I attacked him and he evaporated, leaving you," he announced simply.
"Really?" You slowly got out of the small motel bed. You sensed you were being watched, so you knew you had to be careful, and get Crowley back as soon as possible. As terrifying as it would be to know the truth, you needed it to form your plan.
"O-of course, darling. Why would I lie to you?" He stuttered. You turned to look and 'Crowley' flashed you a smile, one that you have never identified, but was still vaguely familiar on an opposite body.
"I know you wouldn't," you said sweetly. "Let me just get changed first."
"That's not necessary. We need to leave soon, before Lucifer catches up." Your suspicions grew more and more, almost turning to pure certainty with each dreaded word.
"I'm sure we have time," you replied nonchalantly, turning away as you tossed your sweatshirt and tank top over your head at once.
Hearing a quick intake of breath behind you, your heart rate increased. You deliberately turned so he could see your chest - what wasn't covered by the dirty bra. You opened the closet door, pretending to contemplate what to wear, when you were actually thinking of the easiest plan to threaten the devil.
However, you didn't hear him come up behind you.
-
You had been almost completely naked in front of the literal devil. Just another Tuesday. You felt bile in your throat as you took your time. Knowing that that particular vessel was Crowley's favorite, you wanted to save it for him. If he was even still alive.
Once you finished changing clothes, you stared into the closet for a minute longer, staring at your two knives. You couldn't go back to Hell without your king. Not only would the demons tear at you, so would Lucifer, in a much crueler manner. You had never been in the hunting life. You had no experience, just what Crowley taught you.
"You almost ready to go, sweetheart?" He couldn't be called a man. There wasn't a word to describe him. Just Devil. His voice spoke, using the voice you loved; the voice you listen to for hours; the voice that listened to you; the voice that was now possessed by Satan.
You wanted to catch him off guard. You knew Crowley's mannerisms, and saying sweetheart was not one of them. It belonged to someone else. Someone, whose heart was anything but sweet.
"What'd you say?" You tried sounding nonchalant, as if you had just not heard him speak. You felt slightly better now that you changed into cleaner, more presentable clothes, despite the nauseous feeling in your stomach.
"I asked if you were almost ready to leave, darling." Lucifer's voice was rougher than Crowley's. He didn't even try to sound appreciative, or like he actually cared about you. The way he used the true King of Hell's nickname for you ensured your hatred for him.
You walked over to him, as if nothing could possibly be wrong. You presented a sweet smile and set a hand on his shoulder, which was very stiff. You swallowed down bile and leaned up and kissed his cheek. "I just need a minute."
You had stepped away to grab your stuff, but a hand wrapped tightly around your wrists and pulled you back to him. You stared at the vessel, becoming frightened. Lucifer looked back, no emotion seeping through, before slamming his current meat suit's lips against yours, biting down. You nearly fell back from the force as his tongue entered your mouth. Damn, you would have loved to throw up right then - and proceed to run for your life.
"S-stop," you muttered, trying to tug away. One hand was gripped firmly where it was twenty seconds ago, creating a bruise. The other was creating another elsewhere - on the sensitive part of your waist, right on your hips. You could try to kick Lucifer, but you knew the way that vessel worked, so you also knew it wouldn't be easy to injure him without something major.
He continued to kiss you, roughly and passionless. You struggled to get away, murmuring for him to end whatever this was. His eyes darkened as you preceded to break away. You feared for the time he would continue to pretend to be Crowley. You were terrified now, that you wouldn't be strong enough. To save yourself. To get Crowley back.
"You can't tell me no," he said, his voice incredibly deep.
You hated yourself for not being able to out him, but you knew when you did you would surely be killed, and that death would be slow and dragged out, unlike the HellHound when they took you. You had to feign such ignorance, as if you would not be able to tell who Crowley is.
"C-Crowley. S-stop it, p-please." You cast your eyes down, stuttering for effect, as you stumbled away from Lucifer.
"P-p-please! C-Crowley! Oh, give me a break, would you, Y/N? This is too good!" Lucifer was laughing incredibly loud, and it appeared mocking was his go-to stance, as his voice returned to his own and true one. You were nearly trembling all over, too afraid to even close your eyes.
Instead of trying to think of a witty comeback or trying to get a weapon, you swiftly moved your hand out of his and punched him in the nose, before taking off. You swung open the door and started screaming, "FIRE!", as you ran as fast as you managed down the stairs, hearing people exit their own rooms.
"Y/N!" You heard your name screamed from the second floor, as you were nearly outside. People began to flood around you, unaware to the fact that there was no fire. Panting, you looked both ways before sprinting across the street, making your way to the one place you knew. An entrance to Hell.
< - >
The door was locked in the abandoned warehouse. You went around to the back, finding a smashed beer bottle and making a slit down your wrist and smearing it on the door knob. A trickle slipped into the keyhole and unlocked it. You opened the door to find darkness. Sliding your hand against the door, you flipped on the light switch and locked the door behind you.
Your eyes first identified the wooden shelves laced with traps, poisons, spell books, and notebooks. You stepped in, the door shutting and locking behind you. Taking a breath, you scammed for any threats before deciding you had found sanctuary. Still, there was no Crowley.
Looking around, you made your way into the hallway, searching the rooms. The first was the only room with internet access, along with the only computer, that was new... back in the nineties. You stopped in the entrance to the bedroom further back, examining the silky black sheets that looked as if they had never been used. They had, of course.
Recalling the only time you've ever been here, you sat in the middle of the floor, daydreaming now that you were finally away from the literal devil who was trying to kill you and may have possibly murdered the King of Hell, your boyfriend, though you didn't use labels.
This was your third mission away from Hell, within four months. Mr. Crowley had just turned you back to human about two weeks before. You had forgotten quite a bit, especially the sweet, thick smell of the air in fall, as the leaves began to change colors and it gets chillier, something you hadn't noticed in your three months as a demon.
Your boss wanted you to grab some items from his warehouse in the busy New York. You hadn't grown up here and no longer had demon senses, so you had to fine your way around the hard way. All he did was give you an address and that was that.
Now, you stood in the front of a large building with three locks on the door. Mr. Crowley had never told you anything about needing keys. The windows looked worse than glass, meaning they would be difficult to break into, though you were sure that he did not want you to hurt his warehouse in any way, only to find a safe way in and out.
So you walked around to the back of the building, not noticing the thuds your boots made on the pavement. Once again, you found a door, but after twisting the knob, it refused to open. You let out a sigh in frustration and looked around for clues. After attempting to kick down the door, the only effect was a leg in some pain.
"What. The. Heck," you grumbled, wishing you had your phone, so you could leave an angry message. But of course, your boss had it.
"Well, Y/N, are you just going to stand there all day or go inside?" The British voice said from behind you.
Turning around, you saw the King of Hell - your boss. He stood with his arms crossed, a few feet away. His black coat was snugged tightly around his shoulders. You could barely see his tie near the collar. You forgot about his attitude problem for a moment, staring at him; his recently trimmed beard, the dark, always demeaning eyes, black clothes. Damn it, you followed orders as a demon. Now you were gawking at a demon hundreds of years your senior, and fifteen years elder, if you went by what his meat suit looked like.
"I-it's locked," you stammered, feeling your cheeks turn red.
He let out an exaggerated sigh and rolled his eyes, propping out his hand to you. Your brow furrowed and you hesitantly set your hand on his. He pulled out a knife from his other pocket and your heart race increased in the cage. You let out a gasp in shock, drawing Crowley's eyes to yours.
"What? I'm not going to hurt you. I'm just showing you how to unlock the door," your boss defended impatiently.
Mr. Crowley made a small cut on the front of your wrist, barely drawing blood. You watched it trail down your hand, but he caught it before the blood could reach the ground. The King of Hell continued to hold your hand as he lead you back to the door. He paused, staring you down.
"Don't ever let your blood touch the ground. It is the most important thing about you, humans that is. Blood is the key."
Your boss turned back around, dragging you with him. He lifted your hand over the door and let the blood slide into the doorknob. There was a click and he went inside, checking for any threats. You followed numbly, covering your wrist.
"Do you understand? This won't be your last time here, no matter what happens," he said, moving around, checking the books.
"Y-yes, Mr. Crowley," you confirmed, feeling heat in your cheeks.
He cast you a look that made you freeze. When he completely faced you, you insides churned, but not in a horrible way. He stared at you for a moment longer than you knew appropriate, but neither looked away, until he blinked and picked up a book, shaking away whatever he was thinking.
"Call me Crowley, love. Mister sounds too official. Think of us as friends, or business partners, if you prefer," said the King of Hell.
He flipped through some pages, quickly scanning over the words in foreign. You stood, frozen in place. A demon, a ruler of hell - was asking you to treat him like an equal. You would have thought you were dirt on his shoes, but when he looked at you like that - it was definitely not like looking at dirt.
Business partners.
Equals.
Friends.
Love.
<->
That quickly changed, you knew. Within about twenty minutes, you were a little more intimate than business partners. You stretched your arms and legs, mind steel playing the day you realized your feelings for Crowley. Finally, you got up and shut the door behind you, walking the hall.
Abandoned warehouses were supposed not to be occupied, yet you still felt creeped out by the eerie silence. You made your way into the kitchen and looked for any foods that might not be expired. When you caught the first whiff of something, your stomach growled loudly.
That made you realized that you hadn't had anything to eat in at least one day, and haven't had an actual meal in about a month. You opened cabinet doors, searching for the smell. After about five minutes, you still couldn't identify the smell.
Instead, you went to the bathroom and pinned your hair into a ponytail, retrying twice until it looked decent and not like a rat's nest. You checked to see that the water worked before stripping out of the clothes you had changed into just two hours ago. You turned on the hot water in the bathtub, and plugged the hole, waiting for it to fill.
You went into the smaller bedroom, that held a fair of amount of your clothes from a few months ago, and started searching for something clean. You settled for a pair of black jeans, a red tunic, and a leather jacket - one you had thought you'd lost. You folded the items and set them on the counter, slowly dipping yourself for the bath, taking a breath, waiting to feel relaxed.
There was a loud bang and two male voices began shouting.

why not?
Tumblr media
synopsis ∣ It was a last minute plan and Nara knew Jackson, Bambam and Yugyeom would immediately agreed to it - not knowing the exact detail where they are going.
timeline ∣ December 2020
characters ∣ The Bangs, Bang Nara (The Bloody Roses), Jackson Wang, Bambam, Kim Yugyeom (Got7)
a/n ∣ fluff and soft, a little crack, it’s normal that Bambam is nervous but Jackson and Yugyeom are extremely nervous for no reason. Italic means they are speaking in English!
Tumblr media
“What!? Please tell me you’re joking, Nara!”
“I’m serious, Bam.”
“Turn back! Turn back!”
“We’re almost there, oppa! There’s no point turning back!”
“Yah! We didn’t bring anything with us!”
A deep scream comes from Jackson and a few whines coming from Bambam and Yugyeom as Nara could only laugh to see them panicking.
Nara had invited them for dinner and she knew Jackson, Bambam and Yugyeom were the only ones who would agree immediately - no matter how busy they were, they would make time for the maknae of The Bloody Roses.
But what the 3 members of Got7 didn’t know is that they are going to a family dinner - personally made by the Bangs.
“Yah! I could have worn a suit or something! Look at what we are wearing now!” Jackson complained as he pointed at himself - wearing a more comfortable outfit rather than a formal one.
“Hyung is right! We look like we just woke up from a nap or something!” Yugyeom added with a slight frown as he looked at Nara who was driving.
“Why are the two of you panicking?! I should be the one panicking since I’m meeting my girlfriend’s family!” Bambam yelled in nervousness but somehow, there is a little excitement in him.
Nara chuckled to see them basically panicking at the back. She wasn’t nervous or anything since her family invited the Got7 members, so she was fine and Nara knew her family is fond of the Got7 members since they had attended her sister’s wedding so they are considered family.
Nara glanced towards Bambam through the rear-view mirror to see him looking a little quieter than usual but he was still, himself - but more calmer.
Coincidentally, Bambam caught her gaze as he proceeded to give her a cheeky wink - making Nara roll her eyes.
Maybe he wasn’t nervous or panicky at all.
Tumblr media
“Dude! Your house is huge!”
“It’s not my house, Jackson. It’s my Mum and Dad’s!”
The 3 of them looked towards the extravagant home. To be honest, the 3 members weren’t too surprised knowing all of the girls’ family background.
“C’mon! Don’t be a stranger! You guys met them during my sister’s wedding!”
“But they might forget us!” Yugyeom pouted and Nara tilted her head, gesturing to come in as they passed through the gates.
“No, they don’t, Gyeom. They all love the 7 of you, trust me.” Nara added, after seeing Jackson clinging onto Yugyeom as they walk ahead, following the path.
Bambam weirdly grew quiet, causing Nara slightly looking towards him.
“Bam, you good?” Nara questioned, reaching out for him as she holds onto his hands, gripping slightly.
“Can I be honest? I’m nervous,” Bambam whispered and Nara's expression softened into a smile.
“Why? You met them before,”
“Yeah.. but this is a family dinner, it’s considering a formal kind of meeting,” Bambam answered while pouting slightly - making Nara stop at her tracks, pulling Bambam as he faced her.
Nara looked towards where Jackson and Yugyeom was as she decided to have a word with Bambam privately fast before the 2 members saw them.
“Remember that night where you said you wanted to make our relationship public?” Nara questioned and Bambam nodded as his answer.
“Well, this is the first step - I’m just saying. This dinner is for them to get to know you better without being too formal. My parents aren’t a fan of too formal dinners. It’s boring but they have too since their job is basically full of meetings. But this… they have a choice so they wanted to make it casual and comfortable, for you, me and for everyone. Also, the others were invited because my sister misses them so..” Nara explained with a slight shrug in the end as she mentions her sister.
Bambam sighed in relief while engulfing Nara for a hug.
“I love you so much, Nara.” Bambam whispered, earning a giggle from Nara.
“Feeling better?”
“Well—
“Hey lovebirds!” A familiar voice called, making Nara and Bambam to turn towards where the voice came from to see Nara’s sister leaning against the door while wiggling her eyebrows.
Bambam immediately pulled away from Nara while looking down shyly while Nara was looking at her sister’s way with a disgusted look.
“I’ve been standing here for 5 minutes and none of you noticed me! Jackson and Yugyeom have entered in now so it’s just the two of you!”
“Okay pervert! We’re coming!” Nara yelled, causing Bambam to laugh out loud seeing the two sisters bickering with one another.
Tumblr media
Bambam should have trusted Nara’s words because she was really right. As soon he stepped into the big house, he could already see Jackson and Yugyeom basically standing beside Nara’s mother - talking and laughing and as soon as Nara’s mother turned her head towards Bambam’s way, her expression turns into a smiley one as she made her way towards Bambam, engulfing him into a tight, crushing hug that Nara’s father had to stop his over-excited wife.
They were so welcoming and it scares Bambam that they are a replica of Bambam’s family.
Nara’s family was an example of any typical big family and what Bambam liked about hers is that as soon as they sat on the dining table area, her parents - especially Nara’s father - were quick to ask everyone to dig in.
And unlike other families, Nara’s parents' first question towards the 3 Got7 members was what they always do during their free time and that’s when a whole new conversation that related to pets, games and music are being brought to the table
Nara just watches the members talk their heart out mainly to Jackson regarding his Team Wang plans, Yugyeom talking about his love for Dalkyum and him getting teased especially by Nara’s mother about Hyunji and Bambam talking about his family.
Jackson and Yugyeom then proceed to lowkey diss about Bambam at the same time praising Bambam regarding his personality and attitude.
Bambam knew the spotlight was about him but Nara’s parents were nice enough to make more conversations with Jackson and Yugyeom - in an attempt to make them comfortable too.
In conclusion, the 3 Got7 members enjoyed their dinner.
Tumblr media
“My dear, what do you see in Nara that you somehow… want to be with her?” Nara’s mother questioned Bambam as he was helping her to wash the dishes.
With just a simple question, Bambam’s heart  began to beat faster in nervousness, hence his facial expression shows.
“You don’t have to be nervous… I’m just curious…” Nara’s mother added with a slight smile then hearing Bambam’s awkward chuckle.
“Nara is a gem, really. I have never met a girl like her before. She is real, genuine and beautiful and I see a future with her. We match so well,” Bambam confessed while focusing on the dishes.
Nara’s mother slightly turned towards Bambam - seeing him looking so serious. She knew the young man was serious, he wasn’t that funny and loud guy previously at the dinner table.
She could tell he was really genuine about being with her precious daughter.
“Does she make you happy?”
Bambam turned towards the middle-aged woman, seeing her turning towards Bambam with a small smile.
“Yes.” Bambam answered with a nod.
“Then there’s no reason to be nervous around us, Bambam. We already accepted you in the family, try to be more comfortable around us, alright? I can tell Nara really loves you. That girl always mentions you and Got7 whenever we bring the topic of Thai-food and music,” Nara’s mother slightly chuckles, earning a chuckle from Bambam too.
He was really happy, too happy.
“Yah! Joohee! Why are you letting Bambam wash the plates!?!” A deep voice came from behind, causing both Bambam and Nara’s mother to jump slightly - then realizing Nara’s father was standing behind them with a frown.
‘Well, the nice gentleman offered so I just let him! No one in this household wants to help me!” Nara’s mother grumbled as Nara’s father turned towards Bambam with an apologetic smile.
“Well, I’m sorry, my love but I have to steal Bambam away! We are short with one player! C’mon!” Nara’s father pulled Bambam away, linking the older man’s arm on Bambam’s shoulder as they walked out of the kitchen.
Tumblr media
Nara’s father was one of a kind and at first, Bambam was truthfully afraid of her father because when Bambam was walking around the house with Boyoung - Nara’s sister who kindly wanted to walk the 3 guest around the house, Bambam saw this big glass shelve that was filled with trophies and certificate of Nara’s parents.
Both of Nara’s parents had a title which was a higher rank and it was normal for the 3 members to be nervous but with Boyoung’s words of calmness, the3 members were relaxed since she said that her parents are the chill type.
The family weren’t the type to talk about work-related stuff when they are having dinner - as what they have experienced when they were eating with them.
Bambam had somehow gained a friendship with Nara’s father - and surprisingly but thankfully, both of them had a love for cats and Thai food. It wasn’t a surprise since his daughter loves thai-food too.
Bambam could see that Nara’s family were really caring and genuine as they prepared a bunch of dishes for the whole 7 members of Got7 which includes hand-made kimchi, whole lots of turkey especially for Mark, Jackson and Bambam, seaweed soup and a whole lot more.
Jackson, Bambam and Yugyeom had to carry 2 bags each and Nara too carried 2 bags since her mother prepared for the girls too.
“That was fun! Thank you for inviting us, Mr and Mrs Bang! The hyungs will surely be happy with your gifts!” Yugyeom thanked Nara’s parents in excitement while hugging them - making Nara’s mother giggle.
Jackson on the other hand gave a tight hug to Nara’s parents while wishing them to live longly and have a healthy life since they were really precious.
“We will wait for the two of you in the car!” Jackson informed Nara and Bambam before dragging Yugyeom away - not letting Yugyeom to even say his opinions as the Hong Kong man dragged the maknae away.
“Come and visit us when you are free, Bambam,”
“Dear, he’s busy with work, right Bambam? Starting from this week, he’s going to be busy because they just have their comeback,” Nara’s father answered while holding onto his wife closely.
Bambam nodded while shaking hands with Nara’s father and unexpectedly, her father engulfed Bambam into a tight hug.
Nara’s mother said a few words to Bambam which was asking Bambam to take care of himself and to eat more for health purposes then hugging Bambam.
“Okay! Move along, you two! Drive safely!” Nara’s father shooed the two young ones, causing Bambam to laugh - seeing Nara’s expression.
“Geez… Relax.. We are leaving,” Nara muttered under her breath, giving her two parents a big tight hug and kisses on their cheeks before walking away, together with Bambam.
“Nara-ah! Call us when you reach home!” Nara’s father yelled, causing Nara and Bambam to look back - with Nara giving her father a thumbs up and a wave to them.
“That was fun!” Bambam commented, sounding happy and Nara tilted her head towards him.
“I told you it’s going to be fun! You should see the whole Bloody Roses girls in the house - it’s going to be more chaotic!”
“And the hyungs too! It’s gonna be fun and loud!” Bambam added his girlfriend's words, then watched Nara laughing as she continued to tell him different stories about the other girls whenever they were visiting Nara’s family.
Nara’s mother's words were stuck onto Bambam’s head and that’s when Bambam’s love for Nara grew bigger and he would forever remember this fun, enjoyable and soft night.

Fruits Basket HCs
If you haven’t been able to tell from my blog, I REALLY love Fruits Basket. I have this immense love for these characters and I want to share the different headcanons that I have for each of these fantastic characters. I’m going to cover a lot of ground so I apologize if this becomes really long. To make this easier for myself this first part is just going to be my six favorite characters (Momiji, Tohru, Kyo, Kakeru, Hatori and Hatsuharu).
Momiji:
* The mental health side of things for Momiji is that in my non-professional medical opinion (to quote the original show) he has really high levels of ADHD. He learned to combat this by taking gymnastics lessons as a young boy while everyone else was doing karate he was learning to be bouncing ball.
*This one is a pretty much canon one but I love this idea; Momiji is genderfluid. I love the idea of Momiji hanging around Ritsu and learning about fashion from them. I also just really love the idea of Momiji in a cute little skirt with shorts underneath (don’t judge me I just really love the idea of it.)
*Number one touchy friend!! He’s constantly a ball of energy and will hug and cling to all of his friends if they indulge him. He loves affection both giving it and receiving it.
*He is surprisingly a really good baker!! I love the idea of him making friendship cupcakes for Tohru after everything happened just to thank her for all her help (She wouldn’t accept them but offer to share them with him instead.)
*He learned violin from Ayame. I like to think that out of all the Sohma’s he is the most musically inclined. If you want to learn how to play an instrument go to Aya he’ll help you out fam.
*How he learned German and started using that as his main language was in elementary school right after what happened with his mom happened (I’m trying to keep this as non-spoilery as possible so that my friends can read this too). He wanted something that reminded him of her but wasn’t painful. So he decided to learn another language and Hatori helped him.
*He is probably one of the most likely to spoil his future children. He’ll give them the childhood that he was never technically given. If those children wanted something they were going to get it whether or not it was their birthday they want it. Plus he has the money to get them whatever they want!!
Tohru:
*So space cadet Tohru is canon and I am of the personal belief that a little bit of ADD which is why she always needs Yuki’s help with school. Most of these HCs are going to be a little bit mental health related mostly because that’s how I see them.
*If Tohru had the ability to go to college it would be to become a professional chef. She loves cooking for other people and making people happy. Professional chefs to me are the types of people that love to make others happy which is why she cooks for others.
*She is definitely the hug friend. What is the hug friend you may ask? It is a person that can give the best hugs. She is constantly getting hugs from Uo-chan and Hana-chan and to me she just seems the type that would give the best hugs in the entire world.
*She has always been interested in being in a relationship someday. When she was little she loved Disney movies and would fantasize about one day finding her own personal Prince Charming.
*At first in dating Kyo, Tohru gets flustered by EVERYTHING. This poor girl is always blushing around the love of her life.
*Her favorite subject in school will always be cooking but she is surprisingly good at history!! She loves learning about the past mostly because she is one of the few people that found it interesting.
*As a mom she is the most doting parent, the type that kids get embarrassed by at sleepovers.
Kyo:
*My first HC for our favorite cat boi is that he has autism. Hear me out, when I was in middle school I struggled immensely when it came to relating to people and understanding how they felt. I had undiagnosed aspergers at the time and found that he was one of the few characters that wanted to be better at dealing with his emotions and people. Having that relatability now that I’m older has been a huge help.
*The most surprising HC that I have about Kyo is that he loves to write. Usually it’s just little things that irritate him throughout the day. It’s how he learned to officially get his anger calmed down so that he wouldn’t yell anymore once Hajime and his kids were born.
*As a kid Kyo never had ice cream. It’s the same thing with the pancakes where he had never had sweets that wasn’t fruit. Tohru is appalled by this and one of their first dates was to get him to try ice cream (his favorite is mint chocolate chip)
*Growing up he was alone a lot but I think that he would find companionship in books and literature. I feel like he’d be really good at school like in the original where we see him pouring over books to study. (The best way to get him to do well is of course a little competition.)
*Kyo is a hella overprotective dad once his kids are born. This is obvious but if he has any daughters those future boyfriends, run just run.
*Once the curse is broken he is constantly trying to make up for the years where he wasn’t able to get physical affection. After he gets over his own flustered tsundere habits with Tohru they became easily the closest couple. He finds that he loves having his hair pet (if he purrs he’ll deny it until the end of time)
*I think that out of all my favorites Kyo would be the best listener. You got a problem, no matter how stupid it is, Kyo will do his damndest to help you out. That’s just who he is especially when it comes to those he loves.
Kakeru:
*Kakeru’s mental health theory is that he has ADHD just like Momiji combined with dyslexia so he sometimes has a hard time reading things and needs help understanding what exactly he’s looking at for homework.
*Him and Kimi always start prank wars that could go on FOREVER. If nobody stops them they can just go at each other for days. Eventually either Yuki or Machi will get too exhausted of their antics and force them to stop. These prank wars usually happen about once a month on the second week. They all fear this time of the month and whenever it happens it usually lasts for about three days.
*Definite anime lover this boi!! He grew up watching the classics and it’s just something that stuck with him.
*Before he became chaotic Kakeru TM he always hid this part of his personality but now that he’s older he is very open about his love for anime.
*He wasn’t close to Machi until after she was kicked out of the family house. Before then he was almost indifferent towards her existence but when that happened he realized that he wanted to make her feel better whether she wanted it or not.
*He is the best cuddler fight me on this. I feel like once you got him calmed down he would always be down for cuddling his S\O.
*This one is pretty common amongst the fandom judging by how many people ship him with Yuki but I think that he’s not bisexual he’s pansexual he just loves people!!
Hatori:
*I don’t have a mental health HC for Hatori really other than PTSD (which let’s face it almost all of this cast of characters has.)
*Before he met Kana he knew next to nothing about popular culture. His music taste was stuck in the 50′s and to her that was an absolute travesty!! Who hadn’t heard of Queen, Elton John or David Bowie?! She made it her goal to get him into modern things so that he could understand her. At the time he didn’t really understand a lot of the things that she liked. However, once she left him he learned to appreciate modern music and film.
*Something that I really love about Hatori is the thought that he would be a fan of musical theater. It’s something that not a whole lot of people know mainly Shigure and Ayame and Aya always gets him tickets when a show he likes comes to town.
*He can’t cook to save his life!! Literally the type of person that would somehow burn water and he doesn’t have the time to cook everyday but usually Momiji will bring him food that he makes.
*Definitely a romantic at heart no matter how much the idea of love has hurt him in the past. He loves making Mayu happy at random intervals. From buying her random bouquets of flowers to planning things on a larger scale he just loves making her happy.
*As a parent he’s the type to definitely be overprotective especially when they aren’t feeling well. His kid fainted at school? He’s already there trying to find out what went wrong and keep them at home with him for a few days until they get Dr. Tori’s clean bill of health.
*As much as he bitches and moans about Ayame and Shigure’s annoying tendencies he couldn’t ask for two better best friends. \
Hatsuharu:
*Mental health HC is that he’s bipolar thanks to the other dark personality even though most of the time he’s white it’s something that after everything happens Hatori insists he gets an official diagnosis of.
*He loves grunge rock. The first time he discovered Nirvana Kurt Cobain became his instant hero. Not a way to live his life but someone that he was inspired by. His second favorite band is All Time Low (I’ve never heard any of their stuff this one is for my best friend who is an absolute Haru-stan)
*He got his tattoo as his own way of rebelling against his family order. I think that his parents (we only really ever hear of his mom) being strict on him. That’s where the multiple piercings came from as well. Whenever he would hit a low point before middle school he would get a new one.
*He is actually a really good cook and entirely capable of taking care of himself since his parents are often too busy for him.
*He got into gaming by accidentally seeing Shigure playing a dating sim (Fight me on this one I dare you say that Shigure the pervy bastard doesn’t play these things)
*He is definitely the romantic type as we see him bringing Rin flowers to cheer her up. He might be a little bit stiff at first and awkward but once he gets used to the person you bet your ass he’ll just cling to you as we see with Yuki much to his everlasting annoyance.
*He’s an amazing artist!! He loves to draw just about anything that he can get his hands on. It’s something that he does now when he hits a low point instead of wrecking things he learned the proper way of coping with his problems.
Whew!! Sorry about the length on this guy but I really wanted to do this while waiting for the dub to catch up. I will make more if people want more of them!!

Matchup for DBH, Atla and Monster prom please! I’m a fairly tall, gremlin of a bisexual person. I have ADHD, cuss a lot, I’m terrified of phone calls, am a generally creative person and have a talent for comforting people. I’m a pretty wacky person but come off as intimidating when I’m alone. I draw, play ukulele and guitar, cosplay and I’m part of my schools MUN. I’m a bit punk but also just a big softie. I have lots of plushies and love my cat and dog with my whole heart. Thanks in advance!!
Thank you for the request! Honestly, i relate to the fear of phone calls way to much 😔
For D:BH I ship you with...
Simon!
Tumblr media
You were his 'owner' before the whole Revolution. The person who showed him that humans aren't as bad as they seem. His home.
At first he was just the normal caretaker android he is. Making sure you always took care of yourself and so on. But as time passed and continued to treat him like a human instead of a slave, he started to go deviant. You immediately noticed, of course. Once the Revolution ended and they were finally free, he immediately returned to you. And was the happiest he had ever been when your welcome back was a kiss. His favorite thing about you is undoubtedly your Creativity. It was one of the first things you showed him when he first moved in and he loves it. Every drawing you make, he will make sure to take a picture and memorize in his software. Your ADHD often makes him anxious because he knows how much it can affect you and bring your mood down. It was the maun reason you got him afterall. If you insist on not taking medication, he won't force you. He will be there to calm you down. To remind you of things you might forget. To keep you focused on the task at hand. He will be your medicine.
Simon loves you and everything about you. When the deviants at Jericho spoke badly of humans, he often retaliated because you were always on his mind. And you were everything but bad. You are his angel.
"I'm free. We can really be together now. Just like we always wanted, angel.."
For ATLA I ship you with...
Suki!
Tumblr media
Believe it or not, you two met because of your kindness. She had had a tough day, everything was going completely different than they had planned and then there you appeared, comforting her as if she weren't a stranger.
After that little encounter, you two became inseparable. She taught you how to fight, you taught her how to play the ukulele and guitar. It was honestly a very affectionate and close connection from the get-go. When Gaang came around, she immediately pulled you into the whole mess with her. At first, you really thought she and Sokka had a thing but then out of nowhere, she came at you with a very long and deliberate love confession and you were absolutely ecstatic. A little confused, but very happy nonetheless. Especially when you heard Sokka cheering like the amazing wingman he is. Sukiloves your intimidating and punk exterior, it kinda goes along with her confident but welcoming vibe. Makes the perfect duo, as she says. Suki doesn't understand much about cosplay, it's all very new to her but she loves to just sit and watch you work on your costumes and makeup. The whole transition from yourself to the character you like is like a magic show to her and it always makes her look like a child looking at all the different candy at a candy store. Just pure heart eyes from her.
Throughout the whole journey, she always makes sure to keep an eye on you and to protect you. You mean the world to her and Suki would never forgive herself if something happened to you. Or worse.. if she lost you.
"The two of us together? Oh, we're UNSTOPPABLE!"
For Monster Prom I ship you with...
Damien!
Tumblr media
Well.. where do I start. You guys met because he decided to be a total Asshole to you. But you happened to be very, VERY angry that day and absolutely demolished him. Soon enough, y'all were dating.
To be more exact, he thought your little outburst was really attractive and so, he started being nicer to you (very poorly though) and you two became friends. Eventually, he grew a pair and asked you out. It came as a surprise to everyone in the group honestly, but they supported it 100%. Damien is surprisingly very affectionate and sweet to his partner. Well, the sweet is to an extent, he's still an asshole but he never does or says anything that might hurt you in any way. Not only would he beat himself up but so would the others if he hurt you. He doesn't really get along with your pets. He hates that you show them so much affectionate and attention. Who needs them when you have him?? Yes.. he is a very jealous lover. Anyways, he's not the most patient being but when it comes to you, he has that patience of a saint. Especially if you're feeling bad because of your ADHD. You're afraid of phone calls? Don't worry, he'll call for you. But he won't promise it to have a good outcome. Or that you get your phone back intact. One of his favorite things to do with you is just ... cussing. Just cussing back and forth to see who can come up with the most creative cusses and insults. It's honestly hilarious to anyone who isn't used to it. But also a little terrifying...
This Himbo is an absolute sucker for you and he spoils you rotten. It all might have started with him bullying you but now... he will have anyone's head that dares even breathe weirdly in your direction. No joke. Please, hold him back, he might hurt someone-
"Did you fall from heaven? Cuz there is no fucking way someone as hot as you could be from there. I'm serious, have you seen those ugly ass angels, I'm not kidding they're fucking hideous- Babe, hey, WHERE ARE YOU GOING-"

Kitty’s Key, set 10
<Previous
29. Werecat
Adrien didn’t demand kisses right after he won the tournament. Ever since Adrien got the gold medal presented to him, Marinette had been thinking of ways to break to Alya and Nino that they were dating. Thankfully, he’d been merciful on her. When they met up, he hugged her close and whispered in her ear, “Not with Alya and Nino. Wait for me tonight, ma princesse.”
While relieved that she wouldn’t have any explaining to do, she had to fight the wicked blush that always appeared when he called her by that possessive nickname.
Considering no one commented, she must have succeeded.
Now, the night was approaching, and Marinette was nervous about just what would happen tonight because she knew her Chat well enough to know that he was not about to let the possibility of kisses from her slip through his fingertips. And just what he might do to tease or harass her beforehand might just be the end of her.
Something landed on her roof with a thunk, alerting her to his presence. She begged her racing heart to steady, because she knew this was… well…
She knew she didn’t know what would happen tonight.
Bracing herself, she opened the hatch just as he yowled into the night.
“Chat!” she whisper-screeched, rushing to cover his mouth. She stared at him with wide-eyed shock as he reclined in her balcony chair looking too smug for his own good. “What are you doing?” she hissed.
He carefully pried the hand from his mouth. “Princess. How furr-tuneate that you’ve appeared. For you see, the light of the full moon has turned me into a werecat, and the spell can only be broken by a kiss of true love.”
Slowly, the gears in her mind started turning, processing what he’d just said. Her expression fell, and his expression grew even more amused.
She scoffed, turning back to the hatch. “Denied.”
“P-princess!” he called, quickly shooting out of his seat to rush after her. “I’m sorry.”
“No, you’re not.”
He paused. “True. I’m not. But come on, I was just having a little fun.”
She sighed, turning back to face him. “How did I fall for you?” she asked.
His grin returned. “I kinda keep asking myself the same question, honestly. It feels too good to be true.”
At seeing the earnestness in his expression, she couldn’t help but surrender her cold front. “You don’t think I’m now asking myself the same question? Because I have you as Chat and Adrien. I literally get the best of both guys… and the worst.”
“Hey!”
“But it’s worth it,” she finished with a growing grin. “For you, it will always be.”
His defensiveness disappeared as he swept Marinette off the ground, pressing her up against his chest.
She squealed in surprise, but then giggled as Chat spun her in a circle before letting her slowly slip down to the ground again.
“I love you,” he said. “You have to know that. I really love you.”
Her heart was fluttering wildly, yet the only thing she could think to say was “I love you, too.”
His grin was unabashedly joyful, and he soon swooped her up again and held on tight.
She relegated herself to just being in Chat’s arms. There was no escape for her at this point. Which, she was surprisingly fine with.
“Are we going to stay out all night?” she asked him. “Or are you coming inside?”
He didn’t put her down as he jumped down into her room. She giggled all the way, until he laid her down on the bed, him hovering over her.
“Plagg, claws in.” In a flash of green, Adrien Agreste replaced the black-clad superhero. “Now,” he said, shifting his weight to one arm so her could stroke her cheek with the other. “I believe that I was promised a kiss if I won the tournament. And I would very much love to cash in such a wonderful prize.”
Warmth seeped through her chest, up her neck to her face and down to her toes. “I… I did promise that, didn’t I?” she asked, her voice weak and breathing rapid.
He nodded. “But only if you’re comfortable in giving it.”
A new wave of heat washed over her. The mention of her comfort, their position of her underneath him… on her bed, no less… “What did you have in mind?”
“Kisses,” he said, leaning closer to her. “Lots of kisses.”
“That’s it?”
His expression scrunched in confusion. “What’s the matter? Something wrong?”
She bit her lip nervously. “I… just thought, between our position here… on the bed… I don’t want to go too far.”
His brow furrowed deeper in confusion before understanding dawned on him. “Princess, no,” he said. “No. I… we’re not ready for anything more than kisses at this point. No, just… no.”
She felt herself take a breath of relief.
“I’m sorry if I did anything that made you think that. I just want kisses and cuddles from you. One day, yes, I’d love to go that far, with you and only you, but I’m thinking that we’re out of high school and far deeper in our relationship before that happens. Preferably, I’d like that to happen after I see you in a white dress and slide a ring on your finger and give you my last name.”
Her heart was racing at the thought. It lingered on her dream of marrying him in a small ceremony surrounded by only their closest friends, but then her mind wondered to just what the wedding night might be like, and she had to force those thoughts to come to a screeching halt before she passed out by the amount of blood rushing to her face.
“Trust me, Marinette,” he said, his tone reverent. “I don’t ever want to make you do something you aren’t comfortable with.”
After her heart slowly calmed its rapid pace, she reached up to wrap her arms around Adrien’s neck. “I do trust you,” she said. “I just… overreacted. I’m sorry.”
“No,” he assured, stroking her cheek again. “No, if you are concerned over something, particularly like that, then please tell me. Because that is important.”
His embrace became more like a safe space with every passing moment. “Okay,” she answered. “Okay.”
He grinned, his thumb brushing over her lips. “Are you okay with me kissing you, now?” he asked.
She returned his smile. “Yes,” she said. “I believe the best boyfriend in the world deserves it.”
“’Best boyfriend in the world’ huh?” he asked, his lips getting closer to hers. “I like the sound of that.”
 30. Prey/Hunt
Heaven help her, ever since she’d discovered Chat’s identity, she was much more uneasy around Adrien.
It was all his fault, really. In Marinette’s mind, she would have thought that it was common sense that if you wanted a person to approach you, you didn’t stare at them like they were your prey.
Because with all the looks Adrien had snuck at her the last few days, she sure felt hunted.
“Okay,” Alya said. “That was the third sultry look in as many days. What’s happening between you and Adrien?”
Adrien was doing a pretty good job considering Alya only caught three of the many looks Adrien had sent her in the last week. “Who said anything was going on?”
Alya’s glare said there was no telling her otherwise. “Because I have to know if the looks Adrien has been sending you has anything to do with the mark on your shoulder that I’ve been dying to ask about since this morning.”
Marinette turned beet red and instantly covered where she knew that mark to be. Things may have gotten a little more heated than anticipated last night. It had started as a conversation over their hypothetical—er, future wedding and what their future together would look like, and next thing they knew, they were in a heated make-out that left a mark on her collarbone.
Scary thing was she honestly couldn’t be too angry at the cat.
So… she supposed it was only fair that Alya was told that her best friend was already planning her wedding. Otherwise, there’d be hell to pay. “Okay, you caught us. Adrien and I have… been dating for… a little while.”
Alya’s jaw dropped. “And you didn’t think to tell me?” she challenged.
Marinette cringed. “I’m sorry. I was kinda freaking out about it, and it happened so quickly and—”
“How long?”
Marinette froze. “What?”
“How long have you two been together?”
Marinette steeled herself for the reaction. “A little after I won that ‘get a date with Adrien’ contest.”
Alya pursed her lips. “Okay, so about a month and a half.”
“More like a month, to be honest,” Marinette corrected. “Barely.”
“Better, but I’m still pissed at you.”
“I’m sorry,” Marinette said. “Really, I am. But everything was so new and things were going so well and we just… we wanted to keep it secret for a while before everything blew up over the fact we were dating, you know?”
Alya still didn’t look happy, but she didn’t look quite a severe as before. “Fine. I get it. But just how much longer were you planning to keep that a secret?”
“Honestly, Adrien and I were discussing ways to break it to you last night.” And that was the truth. Among other things, one of the things they were talking about was how to ask Nino and Alya to be their Best Man and Maid of Honor… until they realized that the two people didn’t even know of any relationship between them.
Alya quirked a brow. “Really, because that mark on your shoulder suggests you two were discussing other things.”
Marinette turned beet red again. “Alya!”
 31. Supernatural Creatures
“I can feel you staring, Chat.”
“How can I not?” he easily replied, not taking his eyes off the woman in red before him as she stared out at the Parisian night. “I have a fantastic view.”
That got her to turn around and shoot a look at him. However, the hint of a smile proved just how much she meant it.
He grinned. “Well, while I have the attention of the most incredible woman in the world—”
“Flatterer.”
“Hush. I only tell the truth. But, I actually have a very important question to ask of you.”
Ladybug turned around, looking at him with a smile and a raised brow. “And that is?”
“Do you want me to propose as Adrien or Chat?”
Her brow furrowed. “What?”
With a grin, he pulled out a ring from his pocket while he got down on one knee. “My lady, we’re both about to start university soon. It has been months since we started dating, and while yes, we may be young and it may be fast, I honestly believe that we’re ready to take this next step.”
She stood frozen. “Chat…”
His grin widened. “What do you say, Marinette?” he asked. “Because I’m still blown away that I have this beautiful, stunning, creative, intelligent, downright supernatural woman as my girlfriend. But honestly, I’m much more excited to have you as my wife and to start up a life with you.”
Slowly, her smile grew wide. “Yes,” she answered. “Yes, I’ll marry you.”
His heart felt like it was flying at the moment, leaving him bubbly and weightless as he stood and approached her so as to slide the ring on her finger. “I love you, my bugaboo,” he said, cradling her cheeks in his hands and staring down into her glassy eyes warbling with unshed tears.
Honestly, his own vision was growing a little blurry, too.
“I love you, too,” she said, leaning closer, her lips aiming for his. “I love you so much, my Adrien.”
The next day’s headline would read “Confirmed! Chat Noir and Ladybug in relationship.”
Chat found it amazing, and Marinette… well, if her cat was happy, so was she.

Billy Hargrove x Reader
Hey y’all, plot twist time
Billy only realized he liked you after you punched him in the face.
It was at a party, and he hit on your friend. The music was loud, the beer was flowing, everyone was having fun, and you were there because so was she. She’d just broken up with Steve Harrington, the “King” of Hawkins High, and wanted to get over him by getting shit-faced. You wanted her to be as safe as possible, so you followed her there.
You two had been there for about an hour, nothing really happening, other than stalking Steve, when he showed up. The new guy. The asshole who outranked assholes. His name was Billy Hargrove and he was smoking hot. Your friend, Vanessa, didn’t really notice him, as she was still staring at her ex, but you saw him.
He swaggered in, acting like he owned the place. You hated him. Ever since he got here, he had been a thorn in your side. You weren’t exactly the nicest either, being rival to Steve’s gang, the Queen Of Hawkins High. So, when Mr. Fancy Butt took over Steve’s place at the top, you got shaken.
Vanessa, being your number 2, and best friend, had noticed that Billy was in your interest. She tried to push you two together, with which many an interaction ended in a scuffle. So she stopped trying, and many of your fellow students avoided being in the same room when both of you were together.
You hated his guts, and he hated yours. He was too full of himself, and needed to accept that a girl was higher on the social status than he was. You were too full of yourself and needed to accept that he would eventually knock you down and put you in your place.
Billy’s eyes met yours, and he made his way over, smirking. He waded through the crowd of drunken teens, and leaned against the island you and Vanessa stood at.
“So, how are you lovely ladies doing?” He asked, blue eyes twinkling with mirth.
“Fuck off, Hargrove. We’re here to have fun, not babysit the less fortunate.” You turned away, and he turned his attention to Vanessa.
“Well, that’s unfortunate. Your friend here looks a little lonely, maybe she’d like a good night?” He sneered at you, moving closer to Vanessa, who looked extremely uncomfortable.
You struck, ringed fingers connecting with his smug face. He stumbled, looking shocked as blood poured from his nose. Blue eyes met brown in an icy glare. Those dark lashes fringed the scariest stare you’d ever seen on anyone, and his lips curled into a psychotic smile.
Billy roared with laughter, scaring you and Vanessa, who looked terrified and more. “You little bitch... don’t know when to quit do you? You’ve got more fight than Harrington, I’ll grant you that.” He lunged for you, fist nearly connecting with your nose as you ducked.
You ran the opposite way, out of the door, as the kids inside yelled at Billy for trying to hit you. Looking back, you saw him stumble out of the door, sporting a black eye and more blood on his mouth. Maybe Vanessa hit him. Something in you stirred, and you felt a little bad.
He leaned against the house, and held a can to his face. Damn, you knew how to fight. He chuckled, wincing when the smile pulled his split lip. Maybe she wasn’t so bad, if she was really willing to punch him in the face. Most of the bitches in Cali just let him do whatever he wanted, no one questioning his reign.
You were different, feisty, but you did really care for your friend. Billy didn’t mean to push you so far, he was just being a jackass to be a jackass, and Vanessa wasn’t his type. Neither were you, but messing with you was fun. He didn’t expect to get whacked though.
He noticed movement in his field of vision, and looked up. You had walked back towards him.
“Hey, asshole.”
“What do you want?”
“To apologize. Is your nose okay?”
“Why do you care?”
You looked him in the eye.
“You remind me of a lion that got hurt and is fighting to keep his place as king.”
Oh.
“Okay.” He looked at the ground, as you sat in front of him. You reached out to pat his knee.
“Did you really mean that about Vanessa? If you did, I’ll match that black eye.”
He laughed again, rolling his eyes.
“As if. She’s not my type,” he stared at you, as if he was trying to communicate telepathically. He was weird, you had to admit.
You shuffled closer, and hesitantly held out your hand to pet his hair. He nodded, so you pushed your fingers through his curls.
“Your hair is soft.”
“Thanks.”
“This is weird.” He grunted in agreement. “So... sorry for almost breaking your nose.”
“S’ok.”
“Have you gotten into fights before?”
“Yeah,” he looked sad as he said that, an odd look on someone who is so intimidating. You decided to push it.
“With who?”
“My dad.”
“Oh.”
“Yeah...”
“I’m sorry.”
“S’ok.”
You felt even worse now. Billy Hargrove, resident asshole hid under this mask, and now you’d just almost broken his nose. Jesus. “Can I ask you what your type is? I don’t like you like that, just curious.” You wanted to know more about him, at least more than he let on.
“Hah, you don’t wanna know.”
“Yes I do.”
His head tilted up to look you in the eye. Blue met brown again, but less icy, and more, scared. Why should he be scared?
“You aren’t one of those types are you?”
“What? A homo?” You jokingly asked, but regretted when he flinched. “Oh, no, dude I was joking. I mean I’m not a homo, but I’m not totally into guys-“ oh fuck now you’d done it. How in the ever loving fuck did you fuck that up.
Surprisingly, you didn’t immediately get called “Fag”, or something like that. Instead you got a shocked looking Billy, staring into your face.
“You aren’t straight?”
“Uhh, no?”
“Oh-“, and now you had a sobbing hunk of a teen boy on your lap. Who hurt this poor kid? You stroked his hair, quite surprised at how this night ended up.
“Hey, Billy? Are you alright? What’s wrong?” You grabbed his shoulders to lift him up, but he just dug his face into your shoulder. “Uh, Billy?” Running your fingers through his hair seemed to calm him down, so you kept that up. Stroking the soft, fluffy curls like a cat, while he cried into your shoulder.
Thank god no one walked out.
As his cries lessened, you hugged him tight. “Are you okay?” You asked, full of genuine concern for a boy you’d wanted dead two hours ago. He looked up, cheeks tear stained, and eyes red. He nodded, and hugged you.
“I’ve been so, so scared of anyone finding out about it since we moved. That I’m... not straight.” He sniffled, looking rather pathetic. You felt pride that he told you, but concerned about him bottling it up.
You smiled, and decided to joke. “Well, here I am... are you full homo, or half, like me?” He grinned shakily. “Half, I guess.”
“Well, than we make a whole homo together, how about that?”
He laughed at that, throwing his head back, nearly hitting it on the wall. “I guess we do, Queenie.”
“Queenie?”
“Better than bitch.” He stuck his tongue out, rather childishly at you, and you laughed.
“Wanna go home?” You asked, willing to hang out with a new friend for a little bit. His laughing demeanor vanished, replaced by fear. He shook his head, curls bouncing. You put your hands up in surrender. “Do you want to go to my house? My parents aren’t home.”
“Can we watch Rocky?”
“Sure, ya goof.”
That Monday was weird. Everyone was on edge at you and Billy being friends, especially after getting into a fight at Tommy’s party on Saturday. They all thought you two had gotten together or something, and just shared power now.
In actuality, it was two gays just being friends, and helping each other out with dates and decking evil parents. Cute.

Facing the Aftermath
Hello folks!! I have an interesting drabble to share! This is another Sebagrellerin piece I thought up the other day while thinking about things like what my new favorite ship would deal with in certain manga-canon situations! This one in particular being about the end of the manga itself. Now, I know I KNOW we do not even KNOW what EXACTLY that’ll be like for sure, but I really felt like exploring at least what I thought was one of the most obvious and likely endings.
HOWEVER, if you personally do not like the idea of Sebastian actually going through with eating his master’s soul at the end of the story, please feel free to just ignore this, as that is indeed the scenario that is implied here, hence the obvious oncoming angst you’re about to witness..
For anyone who does wish to read, I hope you enjoy it! I really tried my best with this, okay?? :3
Mey-rin didn't bat an eye at the teleporting, as it hadn't been the first time by now that Grelle had done it. She did however find herself having a harder time adjusting to the dramatic change in scenery. They'd gone from the tiny apartment flat Mey-rin had been in to this sudden quiet sunlit area, bright green grass abound and trees rustling softly in the wind around them.
Where... where the hell were they?? The former maid spun around, taking in everything, and discovered a distance away behind them a familiar landmark peeking up behind more forest. Was that... The Phantomhive Manor??? "This way, love." Grelle brought her attention back, and Mey-rin turned around to see the reaper already heading further into.. the forest for some reason, and AWAY from the manor!
Mey-rin quickly rushed to stay beside her, heartbeat quickening. Was this really going to happen?? Was Grelle REALLY leading her to Sebastian? Er,... if he WAS still Sebastian?? Or.. even a "HE".  Oh, the poor girl couldn't think on it. She shut her eyes a moment briefly to try clearing her head of all the stress and confusion. And still they walked on, neither she nor Grelle saying a word, which only added to the poor human's fear and concern. It was very rare for Grelle Sutcliff to be so stone serious. It worried the girl so much. Oh she hoped this all worked out! In.. some form or another!!!
Finally, Grelle stopped, one hand on her hip, and her sharp bright eyes staring straight ahead at something like a Pointer spotting the prey directly in its sights. Mey-rin came to a stumbling halt beside her and immediately looked up at Grelle in question, but still did not vocalize it. Grelle responded by stretching out an arm and pointing directly ahead. Mey-rin followed her signal... and only saw a HUGE tree in front of them. Nothing much else to it. Why was she-- Wait.. there was.. a meowing coming from the direction of the tree. What the hell?? Mey-rin knew her ears could certainly not being going as bad as her eyes, SURELY NOT, RIGHT?? But--! There it was again! Multiple soft mews... It came from.. the other SIDE of the tree. Very, very carefully, Mey-rin went forward, trying to be as stealthy and sneaky as she'd been in her hay-day. If only for one more time.
After walking the full parameter around the side of the big tree, and with Grelle being surprisingly quiet too in her approach behind Mey-rin, the girl's eyes widened at the sight that came into view on the other side of this tree.
About a dozen cats had come to this one spot, and for only one reason. The attention of one very cat friendly demon, who was sitting right there on the forest floor, trying to give every single feline a bit of attention.
That surprisingly wasn't the only fascinating thing about this scene, Mey-rin soon learned as she looked longer. The demon did indeed look like an actual demon, now. Skin pure ebony from head to toe, though his face looked very similar still to the human guise, the rest was very fascinating. Some kind of long black cape draped around from his back and he was clearly sitting on it like one would a blanket for a picnic. Strange long footwear covered his feet, longer than anything Mey-rin had ever seen, even coming from designers like Nina! She wasn't sure exactly where the boots ended and the pants began.. It was too dark to tell! And the same material covered up most of his top, almost looking like he had a very skin-tight turtleneck sweater of some sort. But the sleeves were interesting as well. Almost looking like they covered his entire hands like gloves, but no, Mey-rin saw a triangle indent at his wrist where it met his hand. And on the long ends of his fingers were sharp, sharp claws. But.. somehow they did nothing to the sweet little animals in his grasp. As if he'd perfected being gentle with them down to an art. Finally, surrounding him AND the large group of kittens, were a pair of feathered wings.. like GIANT VERSIONS of a crow's. It was all so absolutely mad and Mey-rin just stood there taking it in now..
"Hello, Sebastian." Grelle Sutcliff spoke up, quietly stepping up behind her frozen companion. She smiled over at the demon, absolutely unsurprised at the scene herself, and put one hand firmly on Mey-rin's shoulder while she still pressed her other into her own side. Standing her ground as it were, and making sure the demon knew that she was. It was very important, she felt instinctively, to stay by Mey-rin's side and yet still address the demon. "Look who I brought with me." She tried to sound smug and playful despite everything.
At this point, after feeling the contact of Grelle's hand on her shoulder and hearing her voice suddenly so close, Mey-rin looked about ready to jump out of her skin. And... across the way.. the demon, too, looked suddenly a little less calm. He'd frozen in his scritching of one kitty, head shooting up and pupils shrinking as he stared at the two now before him. He looked.. shaken. And as if the cat in his grasp was about to fall if he didn't come back to his senses soon.
"You..." Was the only word that managed to come out, sounding.. exactly like Sebastian Michaelis.
But Mey-rin was already finding herself blurting out "H-Hello, Sebastian. Um. I mean... wh-whatever... wh-whoever you are. Um. I mean, I-I know she just called you Sebastian but I don't want to assume, so I'm only trying to- to-"
"Mey-rin." Sebastian was up, and right in front of her. He was... he was TOWERING over her in those heels, and the wings and just.. just the overall FEEL of him.. Mey-rin had immediately stumbled back, eyes HUGE behind her glasses.
With both hands free, Grelle lifted them both up in front of her and in the gap between the two. She did that first, and then looked over at Sebastian first. "Steady.. steady now.." She uttered out, her voice even surprising herself in how firm and serious it was. She looked back at her sweet little Mey Mey.. and moved her right hand to beckon for the girl to come closer again. "It's alright, come here, dear." And Mey-rin, still stuck staring at the demon, slowly obeyed and came back closer.
Seeing Mey-rin's cautious approach back had the demon becoming a little more self aware.. Their wings folded in as much as they could, and they straightened up, like a soldier standing guard, while trying to thin out their mouth so their fangs did not show, and calm their demeanor. Hiding as much as the outward feral-ness of their look.
"... Forgive me." Sebastian finally said. "I was not expecting any.. company any time soon." He slightly turned himself to look back at the group of cats back at his former spot. "Well, any non-feline company that is."
"Are you saying they all just.. came to you, Bassy? That you didn't kidnap them or something??" Grelle couldn't help asking, almost out of reflex. Who else would be capable of questioning the habits of a demon but a grim reaper such as she, who'd known the ins and outs, the inner workings, of this particular demon from the very start. And somehow.. Sebastian didn’t seem put-upon by her accusation. He huffed a laugh and looked down a little. "Well, I figured they'd still be roaming around the mansion, waiting for...." His voice seemed to catch for a brief moment, and then he cleared his throat. "Something."
"Well, you'll be happy to know your feline friends aren't the only ones capable of sniffing out a demon! Especially not THIS one!" Grelle went on, tapping her own nose mischievously and winking at the demon. This display made an interesting darkness spread over the demon's ebony complexion. Like a darker shade of black ink slowly seeping out over high cheekbones.
"So I see.." He murmured, and shifted a little in place. "And.. you brought company with you.." He finally got out, and dared to look across the way at the small human, who froze up all over again when his gaze was honed in on her once more."Hello, Mey-rin." His voice dropped to even softer tones. Like cooing to a frightened animal. "It is... good to see you." He found himself putting a hand to his chest, and bowing, without another thought.
"H-Hello... Sebastian.." Mey-rin squeaked out, unable to take the stare any longer. Unable to look up at the ... demon before her. She looked down at the ground. At her hands wringing together in front of her. At her dress. At EVERYTHING and ANYTHING else that wasn't him. She recalled having already addressed him before her brief scare, but suddenly.. everything was all too real. He was here. She was here. THEY WERE HERE. And suddenly she didn't know what to do or say. Even if she and Grelle had even discussed this all before hand.
"How have you been faring, dear..?" Sebastian tried after a long, uncertain pause. He noticed Grelle open her mouth, as if to answer in Mey-rin's place, but Mey-rin actually responded.
"I.. I think I've been doin' okay. Um, I think. I.. I can sleep a little bit better, even if I miss my old bed at.. at.. th-the manor. There's not much noises at night, so it's alright. Even when I can't sleep! So.. so it's okay.."
Sebastian listened on patiently, just.. finding himself happy to hear her voice, at least. Though, hearing that she had only recently been able to sleep gave his chest a little twist. He opened his mouth to speak up too, but Mey-rin continued on.
"And-And Grelle started comin' over just a week ago, so I was happy 'bout that. She told me what she thought of- of the whole affair and-and I- I.."
Her chest had started to rise and fall further, and her vision grew blurry as suddenly tears she'd thought she'd ran out of started coming.
"I-I'm.. still not sure- I still.. I miss... e-everythin'." Her hands went up and started rapidly rubbing at her eyes, nearly smacking her glasses off in the process. "I-I don't know... I don't know wha-what to... to think... to do..." She was full out sobbing while she spoke. Her blurry eyes were now staring ahead at the blurry demon shape in front of her. "I M-M- MISS YOU, BU-BUT I MISS THE YOUNG MASTER TOO, SEBASTIAN!!" She bawled.
Mey-rin's body was ready to collapse to the ground, and instantly both reaper and demon were shooting forward to catch her.
Grelle first, hushing her all the way. And as she was making certain her poor human wasn't going to collapse, she felt an arm going around her own back.
Grelle looked up, seeing Sebastian staring dead on at Mey-rin with a pained and worried gaze, while his left arm wrapped around her too.
And then, his big dark wings were coming around, covering and shading. Hiding them all from everything else.
"I know.. I know, Mey-rin. I know this. So well. Shhh. It's alright. It'll be alright. Shhhh.. Shhh..." Sebastian was mumbling, voice rumbling out like a tender prayer. He first started rubbing her back, almost satisfied with that, before his hand fumbled to take in the side of her face, holding it firmly. Almost desperate to make sure it stayed where it was. That SHE stayed where she was.
"He's gone.. he's gone.. he's gone fore-e-ever... Sebastian!" She lifted her trembling hands, curled them into fists, and pushed them into his chest. "W-WHY SEBASTIAN?! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE THIS WAY?! WHY?!"
Sebastian's eyes were shutting. He was not resisting this. He simply endured it as he lowered his head to press it to the crown of hers.
Grelle went back to trying to hush her, as that was all she could think to do. Her head too instinctively lowering. This closeness, despite the circumstances, felt so soothing, even for her. She'd missed these two so much. And she prayed to whoever would listen to help them get through this, here and now.
Mey-rin had stopped shouting, only able to hiccup and whimper and let her nose run a little as she trembled in place, feeling her two companions enveloping her.. REALLY actually feeling it now.
It had been so long since they had been this close together, all three of them.
Her eyes shut and another sob came out, but she didn't feel she had anymore energy to do much more.
When there was no more shouting, no more sobbing and rambling, Sebastian took a breath in, and then out.
"For some time now.. I have felt the same, Mey-rin. I have asked myself and the universe the same. I have.. come to the only conclusion that.. there had been no escape. It had been too late at that point. Our agreed upon contract had reached it's rightful end, and.. the.. the young master had accepted his fate. He had not struggled. He.. had welcomed it."
It grew obviously harder and harder for the demon to recount this. He hadn't thought back to the exact moment in a while, for he knew if he would, the images would come back, of the young man standing before him.. and what had soon followed after.
Mey-rin took one hand back to put it over her own mouth while she shook her head.
"It's still not right, it's still not right.. !" She choked out.
"I know, I know." Was all the demon could say.
There was nothing more to it. It was an argument, and a discussion that would only spiral down into madness, and they all knew it.
And none of them wanted that.
And yet.. there was one more thing, one more important thing that Sebastian felt the need to say, no matter what it led to. He would face more shouting and sobbing if he had to, but he needed to say this.
"Mey-rin."
He tried to firmly get her focus on him, trying to help her clear away the tears soaking her face, while he spilled out everything he could in the best way possible.
"I am so sorry. I am sorry for doing this to you. I am sorry it has affected you so deeply. I- I am sorry it has changed all you think of me. Please know that that is what burdens me the most. For even in this powerful familiar form.. I feel.. so empty.. I.. I have missed you so."
"Re-really?" Mey-rin squeaked out over her shaking hand still over her mouth.
"Yes," Sebastian immediately responded, almost surprised at her for asking that. "You have not left my mind for a moment. Even a second. All I could think of, even out here with all these beautiful felines keeping me company, was how I wished to be with you two. To... to somehow, someway, make up for everything."
"Oh, Bassy." Grelle nearly choked out, almost in disbelief at how far this demon had come. She just had to lean in and kiss his black demonic skin, look into that face once more, and show him that she felt the same in this moment.
This action made the demon's skin flush once again, his wings noticeably fluffing up a bit. He leaned into the gesture, smiling a little for her.
It was a grateful smile.
"But... what were you gonna do? Shouldn't you be.. le-leavin' or something for... um.. h-hell?" Mey-rin asked, completely unsure why she was asking. Perhaps she simply was still a little in denial that things could just.. go back to the happy times of before.
"Well, technically yes, I should have gone back.. but demons have been known to stray from their homes from time to time. Especially.." The demon seemed to grow even more flustered, looking down now to avoid Mey-rin's open, searching gaze. "...When they do not feel as if that place IS their home anymore, but.. a place actually keeping them from their TRUE home."
Mey-rin stared as she processed this. It was not an answer she was expecting. Well, she wasn't sure what she'd been expecting.. But, that answer, from him.. from.. from this demon she was certain now was still Sebastian Michaelis.. was not one she thought she'd hear.
"You.. you want to stay here?" Her head lowered too as she squeaked this out.
"Of course,"
"As.. as Sebastian..?" She squeaked out softer, fear rising for some reason.
"Mey-rin." He leaned in closer, until there was barely any space at all between them. When her vision looked up, the demon stared at her head-on with that searing gaze and answered her firmly.
"I am Sebastian."
Mey-rin only needed to take in that answer for a moment, before more tears escaped her, and she finally dove forward to kiss the demon, spastically flinging her arms around him.
And Sebastian very briefly froze up himself, as if SHOCKED that the human would respond this way. Would.. respond so POSITIVELY! It made his demonic heart race, his demonic stomach flip, and yet seconds later he found himself melting, as a rumbling deep purr came out, and he gratefully kissed his human back.
When the two parted, they pressed foreheads together, eyes unable to draw away, and yet even without seeing it from the side, they felt their reaper sobbing with relief and both drew the woman in, knowing they owed this reunion all to her.
And the trio stayed in that little corner for a while longer, remembering each other; comforting and soothing each other, and trying their damnedest to make up for the harshest times of their lives they’d had without each other.

i watch yours, you watch mine
Nott tries to scout ahead of the group and gets in trouble.
[ ao3 ]
Nott knows that she’s gotten careless.
It’s all this new company that accepts her just the way she is, not caring at all that she’s a goblin and ignoring the fact that many of her people are bloodthirsty monsters who burn down entire villages and kill adults and children alike.
Never mind that Nott has no interest in burning down villages or stealing human children – the people who look at her don’t care about Nott as a person. They care about the fact that she’s a goblin.
Before she met Caleb Nott had never really been accepted by anyone. And now she’s got a whole new family, a whole group of people who look at her and see a person and not a goblin – a messed up, drunk-all-the-time and probably really weird person. But still, they just take Nott the way she is. It’s not at all surprising that she got overwhelmed, that she got wrapped up in all this false security.
She wears her mask less and less these days, because in the company of the Mighty Nein she simply doesn’t need to. Sure, there are days when she goes out on her own and casts a spell to make herself look normal. But mostly Nott just stays the way she is, lurking in the shadows or tagging alongside Jester and Caleb.
Today Nott left her mask at the inn again. She wanted to check out the sewer system in this new city while the others are occupied. Nott keeps to the shadows as always, it’s a force of habit now, one she probably won’t ever leave behind. It’s how she survives.
Nott hopes that Yasha will return before they have to go down there, because fights always go smoother when she’s there. It’s comforting to have someone so big and strong accompany them and while Nott was afraid of Yasha in the beginning, it got easier to not be frightened anymore. While Yasha is very big and impressively strong she’s also just as awkward as Caleb.
Yasha even showed Nott a book with flowers pressed between the pages – the flowers Nott gave to her shortly after they’d met.
It’s dark already, probably close to midnight. Nott can smell rain in the air while she slowly creeps forward towards the next entry to the sewer system. Maybe she can already pick the lock and check for traps – just in case. She doesn’t want to cause another disaster for any member of the group because she missed anything.
If Caleb knew that she was out alone, he would probably start getting nervous.
Nott can hear a group of drunken men somewhere down the street, arguing about whatever it is human men shout about in the middle of the night when they’re loud and scary and violent. Nott isn’t really interested in what they’re saying. She creeps closer to the iron lid in the ground.
The lock appears to be standard, nothing she can’t handle with a few sips from her flask. Nott crouches down and cards through her things. She takes out her lock picks and her flask, screws the lid open and takes two sips – and while she waits for it to kick in, she lays out her tools and wonders which lock picks might fit the lock in front of her.
Nott peaks down into the darkness of the sewer she’s about to go into. She can barely see the end of the slightly rusty ladder which seems to go down forever and into the shadows of the city’s underbelly. If they can find the four missing citizens alive down there, they’ll get a huge reward.
Caleb could buy a lot of new books or scrolls, Jester a ton of pastries and maybe Nott could buy some flowers for Yasha when she comes back the next time. Yasha really likes flowers, Nott knows. She would look very pretty with flowers in her hair.
Nott fumbles with one of the lock picks for a second, her eyes trained on the task before her, when a hand grabs her neck and tears her upwards.
“Look at this vermin! Little rat creeping around in our streets!”
Nott feels panic rise in her throat while she struggles and squeaks helplessly in the firm grip that presses painfully on her throat, making breathing hard. Nott claws at the hand while three more figures gather around, looming over her. They smell like liquor and old, cold sweat, their grimaces ugly and contorted with hatred and disgust.
 Nott knows what this is.
Humans look at her and see a goblin, a parasite in this city of theirs, not caring at all that Nott might be a citizen like any other because of her green skin and her big teeth. She could be lucky if they just beat her, but what if they–
A large shadow appears behind the man that holds Nott up and a pale hand closes around the hairy, meaty wrist.
 “Move and I’ll kill you.”
Nott goes limp in the violent grip of the dirty hand around her and she feels the man go very still for a moment.
“Let her go”, Yasha says, her voice sounding calm on the surface, but Nott can hear the underlying vibrations there. She’s accustomed to look out for changes in tone because she needs this skill to survive in a world of big people who hate her on sight alone.
The hand loosens its grip and Nott falls to the ground, scrambles away and presses herself against the cold brick wall. She’s so frightened she can hardly breathe and her throat feels sore and bruised from the hand that pressed down on it just a second ago.
Yasha looms over the man in all her impressive height, her pale eyes glowing strangely in the light of an oil lantern a few feet down the narrow street. Apparently the sweaty guy assessed the situation and came to the conclusion that while Yasha is taller than any of his friends, they’re still four men against just one woman, because he starts moving.
Nott watches as he takes a swing at Yasha and Nott fumbles for her crossbow because she won’t let them hurt Yasha. Over the last couple of months Nott had time to watch her new companions and by now she could recognize the way they move in her sleep.
Caleb always makes himself small, trying to be invisible. He doesn’t move his hands a lot except when he’s excitedly flapping them when Nott shows him a new spell or he gets his hands on a new book about magic.
Molly, in stark contrast, always moves. Nott has never seen him still, he always juggles something, always has something in his hands to move around, his eyes darting all across rooms, watching people, almost like a hyperactive cat waiting to bounce on anything that interests it.
Fjord moves careful, in a controlled way that suggests every movement is deliberate and planned, calculated and consciously executed, as if he’s always trying to fool someone. Nott hasn’t figured out what he’s doing that for, but she noticed.
Jester is a blur wherever she goes, a colorful whirlwind much like Mollymauk but unpredictable, completely random, like a dancer who lost her rhythm on purpose. She moves her hands a lot when she speaks and also her face, always scrunching her nose, making grimaces, wiggling her brows.
Beau is all sharp edges and even sharper movements. She’s fast and violent and she can never just be. She’s either on the defense or offense – there is no neutral movement from Beauregard. Not that Nott has seen it, anyway.
And Yasha. Well, Yasha is either a statue or a heavy thunderstorm. There is almost no in between. And right now, there is a storm coming for the four guys who hurt Nott, as Yasha whirls around and grabs two of the guys by the neck, smashing their heads together in a feat of violence that would’ve made Beau proud, Jester cheer and Molly laugh full of delight.
Nott hasn’t even time to aim her crossbow as Yasha pulls her blade and brings the blunt end down on the head of the third guy who crumples to the ground unmoving while Yasha turns her gaze on the fourth guy, the one who tried to take a swing at Yasha, not even able to move her even a tiny bit.
Nott wishes she could be as big and strong as Yasha. But having her as a friend is the second best thing, she thinks while Yasha closes her hand around the man’s throat. His face turns red and redder as Nott watches.
“You hurt my friend”, Yasha says quietly and Nott’s heart swells because hearing it is the best thing. A confirmation of the feeling she’s had for quite a while now. Most of the time Nott doesn’t dare to imagine that people might actually like her. But maybe Yasha feels the same.
Nott doesn’t even hear what the violent stranger croaks as an answer. Even though her throat still hurts and her heart still hammers against her ribcage she feels warm and fuzzy and surprisingly safe regarding the fact that she was attacked just a minute ago.
Yasha lets go of the man’s throat and he falls down just like Nott did before, scrambling back because now he’s small and helpless. He’s the vermin now and Nott is very pleased. Yasha waits until he runs off, almost stumbling to the ground two times before taking a turn and vanishing from sight. Two of the men are still unconscious, the third one follows his friend’s lead.
“What’d you do out here alone?”, Yasha asks quietly and looks down at Nott’s toolkit, still lying on the ground in front of the iron lid.
“I wanted to–I was–I just wanted to check out the route for tomorrow”, Nott admits, her voice cracking a bit at the end. She hasn’t been a very good rogue and she knows it, but she wants to be useful for the team. It can’t be her fault that her companions keep getting hurt because she didn’t do her job right. Yasha looks at her, then she sits down, legs crossed and elbows resting on her knees.
“Ok, cool. Do your thing. I’ll join you”, she says.
Nott blinks. She was waiting for the whole “What were you thinking?”-speech but Yasha just looks at Nott expectantly, simply waiting for her to open the lid, as if there aren’t two unconscious guys lying just a few feet away.
“Oh–ok then. Ok”, Nott mumbles and grabs one of her lock picks.
“Thank you, by the way”, she adds quietly, her voice still wobbling from anxiety.
 “Anytime.”
Nott manages a small smile, then she goes to work on the lock. It’s rusty and heavy but it takes only a few seconds to get it open. Yasha helps her to get the lid open because it’s too heavy for Nott to lift. She would’ve failed at this point already if Yasha hadn’t showed up.
“So, should we check it out?”, Yasha says, peeking down into the darkness without commenting on Nott’s lack of physical strength. Nott is grateful and tries not to think about the fact that she couldn’t have completed her self-assigned mission at all.
 “You don’t have to–“
“It’s fine. I’ll watch your back, you watch mine, yeah?”
 Nott nods.
 You watch mine.
Yasha didn’t just say that she was going to watch Nott’s back. She expects Nott to look out for her too.
“I’ll do my best”, Nott says and peaks down into the hole before grabbing the ladder and starting the climb downward. When she looks up Yasha has a soft smile on her face.
“I know, Nott. You always do”, she says and follows Nott into the darkness.

Supernatural!NDRV3 Boys and human S/O
Tumblr media
I ran out of ideas by the time I got to Gonta.
- Mod Teruteru
Shuichi Saihara
- Dating someone you can’t touch is a bit weird.
- As a ghost, Shuichi is intangible and your not able to do normal things normal couples would do like hugging, holding hands, kissing, things like that.
- It came to the point where Shuichi had started blaming himself for you not being able to love you properly.
- But you told him not to worry about it.
- “You shouldn’t have to worry about not being able to touch me. I still love you, and you still love me. As long as we can express that in anyway to each other nothing changes. We’re just like every other couple, okay?”
- Shuichi’s face started turning red, contrasting to his normal pale white.
- “T-thank you S/O.”
- “Hm? I didn’t know ghosts could blush.”
- “N-no I was just-”
- “I love you Shuichi!”
- “S-stop!”
- You ended up teasing him all day after that, and then apologizing because you love him.
Kaito Momota
- Dating a werewolf has always been just the slightest bit strange.
- At least once a month you have to chain him to the old steel heater in your basement that's attached to the floor.
- Then when he turns full wolf it's your job to keep him satisfied and under control until morning.
- But otherwise, he's a nice guy.
- Hiding his wolfness has proven to be difficult though.
- When he gets excited his wolf ears pop from his head and he starts panting.
- It's cute, but it's very compromising for someone trying to hide their species.
- So you have to be the one to pull him into a private room and remind him to calm down and take it easy.
- Then you would hug him, bringing him back to his more human like state.
- What would the poor wolf boy do without you?
Rantaro Amami
- He's a Incubus.
- A pretty chill Incubus at that.
- Normally Incubus use their powers to seduce humans and feed off their lust energy.
- But Rantaro seems to have adapted to feeding off the energy humans give off when they feel embarrassed or particularly affectionate.
- Making your relationship a symbiotic one as well as a romantic one.
- When you notice Rantaro is feeling a bit down or tired, you give him a hug or two and suddenly he's back in the race.
- Your first kiss with him was probably the greatest thing you've ever seen.
- Whenever he had asked you for a kiss in the past, it was him legitimately asking for energy.
- He respected your decision to wait, but his energy was depleting rather quickly and he needed affection to survive.
- It was when you witnessed him passing out in your living room that now was probably a good time to have your first kiss.
- Hugs weren't doing anything anyway.
- It took a few seconds of silent hesitation, but when you finally pressed your lips against his, his arms flew, grabbing you and pulling you in for an even deeper kiss then just a peck on the lips.
- When you parted, you both started giggling.
- “Couldn't help yourself, could you Amami?”
- “What? You were the one to make me wait so long.”
Kiibo
- You had met Kiibo almost entirely by accident.
- You were dared by some of your friends to go to the top of the neighborhood hill and go inside the creepy house sitting on top of it.
- Sounds cliche, doesn't it?
- Either way, they got you in there (they offered you like, fifty bucks for it) and told you to take a selfie in the living room as proof you went all the way in.
- You took notice to all the surprisingly new looking photos in shiny frames of some old man standing proudly next to what looks like an incredibly detailed sculpture of a boy about your age.
- As you listened to the floorboards creak under your weight, you tiptoed unconsciously through the hallways until you were met with what you believed to be to living room.
- You took your phone out and opened up the camera. When you switched it to the front camera, you could see a figure behind you.
- “AHH!”
- “AHHHH!”
- It wasn't very tall, and it wasn't very menacing, but it frightened you for sure.
- “W-who are you?!”
- “M-my name is Kiibo Idabashi! I'm a creation of certified evil scientist Professor Idabashi.”
- Evil scientist?
- “Then...what are you?”
- “I'm a clay golem. The best of the best!”
- You blinked. Clay golem? Like, Frankenstein or something?
- “Are you the kid who's in all the picture back there?”
- “Yes, I am. But unfortunately, the other man in the pictures has passed away. Professor Idabashi…”
- “Have you been here ever since?”
- His head dipped and his ahoge even drooped a bit.
- “Y...yes. I know that humans aren't as accepting as the professor and his peers. So I've been deactivating myself to avoid meeting any. I only just woke up because I heard you come in.”
- “Would you...like to come out of here with me? I could be some kind of ambassador or something.”
- If Kiibo's eyes were real, they'd be sparkling.
- “Really?!”
- “Uh, sure. You seem like a nice guy.”
- He jumped up and hugged you tight, almost yelling his thank you’s.
- “Oh thank you thank you thank you!! You're so nice! If all humans are as nice as you, then I'm sure we'll all be able to get along.”
- Your face turned red, and you laughed awkwardly.
- “O-oh, I mean, I'm not the nicest person in the world but, I have a bunch of friends waiting for me to come back out so, why don't we go now?”
- “Okay, let's go!”
Kokichi Ouma
- He's an imp who could have guessed.
- Ever since he met you he dropped his normal imp form and went for a more “modern human” type look.
- Though he kept the tail and horns for asthetics sake.
- If he really needs to, he'll take his shirt off and let his wings out.
- By really needs to I mean whenever he wants to embarrass you.
- He finds humans like you really interesting.
- Rather than being scared of him when he first arrived, you were rather fascinated by him.
- How a being like an imp could actually exist in the first place.
- He probably likes humans more than he does his own kind.
- Every imp is fairly the same
- They lie, they cheat, they trick others for fun.
- You were the main reason for him to stay on Earth full time.
- Not that he would tell you that…
Korekiyo Shinguji
- You met him at a beach, assuming he was some kind of stranded seal or something.
- When you had gotten closer, you could clearly see the top half of a human attached to the stranded half.
- He had long black hair and had some kind of cloth mask on his face, reading a ripped piece of newspaper.
- When you approached him and asked him what he was doing, he looked at you and made a noise that you were pretty sure was a laugh.
- “KuKuKu, for once I didn't have to lure one in. This one seems to want to talk to me.”
- “What are you talking about?”
- He put a hand on his chest.
- “I am a siren. A Greek 'myth’ according to humans. I use my singing voice to lure humans on ships to their doom. In other stories my kind of known to eat the flesh of the humans we kill, but that is entirely untrue.” - He puts the newspaper clipping down. - “I should know.”
- You sat down, crossing your legs with your eyes sparkling and a huge grin on your face.
- “That sounds really cool. Do you think you can tell me more?” - “Hm? You’re interested in my stories?”
- You nodded.
- “Yeah! I’ve always been into greek mythology. My favorite is Cerberus, not just because they’re they guard the gateway to the underworld, but also all of the pottery that they’re displayed on. All of it is really impressive and beautiful.” - “Oh, then perhaps you would be interested in some of the stories of Hades?”
- “Yes, please tell me.” - It was strange to him, how you were actually interested in his stories.
- No one else had been.
- Perhaps he was he was already growing fond of you?
- How strange.
Gonta Gokuhara
- You can’t remember ever wanting to date a dryad.
- But then again, you never knew that they existed in the first place so, there’s that.
- Being a Dryad doesn’t make him any different from humans, besides the fact that he’s a literal tree person.
- But he’s fascinated by human culture.
- Especially about this whole gentlemen concept.
- When he had first learned about it, he made it his goal to become a gentleman, mainly so he could be more accepted by humans.
- So, you helped him out.
- You found tailors that could make suits his size, you learned alongside him on how to treat a lady, even how to properly make and serve tea.
- But one day, he approached you about it.
- “Hm? What is it Gonta?” - “Gonta have to tell you something. Gonta not become gentleman for other humans to accept him more.”
- He got down on one knee and showed you a bouquet of freshly picked flowers.
- “Gonta wanted to become gentleman, to become closer to S/O. G-Gonta hope,” - He blushed, scratching the back of his neck and looking to the side,
- “Gonta hope you don’t mind.” - You smiled, eyes sparkling.
- “Aw Gonta! Of course I don’t mind. That’s really very sweet of you.” - He smiled wide, glowing with happiness.
- “T-thank you for understanding S/O!”
Ryoma Hoshi
- Dwarfs can be pretty strange, to say the least.
- Hoshi, for example, doesn't really care whether or not humans see him.
- Unlike other dwarfs, he lives in an apartment with two cats and a fairly good rent price.
- You've asked him about it before, but the main reason seems to be that he doesn't really care for other dwarfs.
- Their religious to an annoying level, they force their beliefs onto their children, everything there can get pretty stressful if you aren't prepared for it.
- So instead, he stayed here to live the human life.
- No magic, no battles, just his S/O and his cats.
- Which you find very cute.
- “You mean, you stay here for me?”
- “I-I mean, partly for you...for the cats, and uhm, humanity as well I guess.”
- You hugged him.
- “Even so, that’s really sweet of you.”
- “Uh, sure.”
- He smiled. You were at least the main reason he stayed.

One Last Bite: Pt. 2
Tumblr media
Kim Donghan x OC ft. other JBJ members
Genre: Vampire AU Summary: vampires have always intrigued you, and meeting one sparked your curiosity even more, especially when you two become close; maybe a little bit too close
W!: a bit rated for profanity, real action is on next chapter yeehee
Donghan immediately got to his home, a modernized bungalow fit for him and his three brothers by choice: Hyunbin, Yongguk, and Taedong. He immediately went inside and walked fast to his own bedroom, only to be stopped by Hyunbin, who was smirking as he blocked Donghan from walking further. Donghan just looked at Hyunbin, irritated, and rolled his eyes as he avoided his glance.
“So how was your date with the mortal?” Hyunbin chuckled. Donghan just glared at Hyunbin as he moved to the side to walk past him
“What? Didn’t you bite her?” Hyunbin smug as he turned to look at Donghan, who stopped in the middle of walking up the stairs to turn back and look at Hyunbin
“Next time you follow y/n, you’re gonna have to go through me.” he implied, voice stern from anger
“Are you asking for a challenge?” Hyunbin pointed to himself, sounding as if he was mocking Donghan
“I’m serious, Hyunbin. You may be the most experienced out of all in this house but you’re the most fucking immature.” Donghan slowly went two steps down as he spoke, making Hyunbin become a bit livid
“So you’re saying you’re the most disciplined out of all of us here, hmm?” he smirked, trying to prevent his anger from boiling even more
“You know I worked hard for Hongsuk’s approval of letting at least one mortal know of my true form. If everything fucks up because of your indiscipline then you know what’s going to happen.” Donghan scoffed as he turned to walk back up
“So you’re saying you love her?” Hyunbin asked, trying to make Donghan even more irritated. Out of his anger, Donghan turned to look at Hyunbin, eyes filled with fury
“Have you even kissed her? Or touched her?” Hyunbin again asked in a mocking manner, making Donghan shake his fist
“Hyunbin, shut the fuck up. Just leave Donghan alone for once.” Taedong said as he walked to the living room, bringing a book with him
“Pft, you’re both the same. Useless idiots.” Hyunbin snickered as he quickly ran off out of the house, wherever his mind was set off to. Taedong just sighed as he looked at Donghan, who was looking at the door with eyes still filled with rage
“Let him be. He’s just jealous you were given teleportation instead of him.” Taedong chuckled as he went on to the sofa and put his book on the table in front of him
“Taedong, how do you even survive with just one supernatural power given by the father?” Donghan asked without looking at Taedong
“Patience, my brother. I will get to your level soon. But for now, I’m just going to follow the rules set by the father and Hongsuk themselves.”
-
You tried to properly sleep that night, but you really couldn’t. Something was bothering you and you could not pinpoint on what it was. You sat up to look at your clock from across the room, only to sigh as you found out it was already past 3am. You got off your bed to go to the bathroom, only to be stopped by a familiar voice
“Couldn’t sleep, little one?” a man with a deep voice asked, making you turn around to look at your window
“Hyunbin? Why are you here?” you breathed heavily as you looked around to see if anyone else was in your room, since you felt like his reason might not be a good one
“Vampires aren’t allowed to come in homes without permission of the residents, correct?” he smirked as he slowly walked around until he was near you
“Guess I do love to break rules, considering I’m already here. And surprisingly,” he stopped to look at you, and you felt your heart beat faster in fear as you looked into his eyes
“No one is watching me right now.” he chuckled, and you turned to walk off. Once you were near the door, you were stopped by Hyunbin as he grabbed your wrist and slammed your back into the wall, hurting yourself in amidst of him towering over you, his face dangerously close to yours
“Hyunbin, please…” your voice shook in fear, hoping Donghan would come anytime soon
“Long have I waited for this moment” Hyunbin chuckled as he showed his fangs to you, making you whimper and close your eyes. He slowly eyed your neck, hissing as he moved closer, only to be stopped by a swift push from someone else as he was close to biting your delicate neck. Hyunbin fell on your bed, angry as he looked up to see who it was
“Y-Yongguk?” you stuttered as you saw Yongguk stand near you, looking at Hyunbin with fury in his eyes as he slowly walked his way to him
“Stop breaking the damn rules you son of a bitch.” Yongguk retorted in anger, and you stopped him from walking towards Hyunbin by grabbing his arm, confusing him of your sudden move
“Huh, never have I ever thought you would save the day just for her, Yongguk.” Hyunbin snickered as he slowly stood up and fixed himself
“You also know for sure that we stop the hunt once the clock hits 3 in the morning.” Yongguk scoffed, hiding you behind him as you gripped your hands on Yongguk’s shirt
“I suppose, I’ve broken two rules now? Fine. See you at home.” Hyunbin gave some sort of an evil laugh as he quickly ran out your window, and you looked at Yongguk who was surprisingly angrier than usual
“Yongguk, where’s Donghan?” you asked, your voice sounding weak
“Donghan has some… issues to deal with. I came here by chance because I sensed you were in danger.” he turned to look at you, your eyes blinking fast from the fear of what just happened
“Yongguk, why is Hyunbin suddenly like this? This is only the fourth time we’ve ever met, and suddenly he starts to see me as his prey.” you asked, voice shaking still
“He is only teasing Donghan. All Hyunbin wants is the power to win over our father, because he knows the father favors Donghan the most.” Yongguk sighed, putting his arms on your shoulder to calm you down
“Thank you for coming on time. I really owe you.” you smiled as you hugged Yongguk, who was taken aback a bit from your skinship
“Y…you’re welcome…” Yongguk awkwardly replied as he slowly pulled himself from your grip, smiling and nodding as he slowly walked over to your window
“Oh, and next time, close your windows .It can help.” Yongguk chuckled, and you just crossed your arms and nodded as he shapeshifted into a cat and went out your window. You walked over to close it, and breathed out deeply. You slowly sat on your bed, wondering where Donghan really was at that time
-
“Father, you know I cannot guarantee you that I can find a new prey at this moment.” Donghan rejoindered
“You need to know that it won’t be long until she will be hunted by someone else before you could do it yourself.” Hongsuk, one of Donghan’s great uncles of the family, replied as he looked at Donghan, whose eyes were to look as if he was to beg for pardon
“Unless, you have fallen for her?” the father, the powerful patriarch of the family Donghan belonged to, raised a brow as he crossed his arms looking at Donghan, who suddenly looked down
“I cannot simply answer that, father.” Donghan sighed, still looking down
“I will give you more time, but not too long. We can’t just let this go forth, you know.” the father shook his head
A little over a while, Hyunbin walked into the living room to see all three of them looking at him, Hongsuk suddenly looking infuriated. Yongguk also arrived after a few seconds, changing himself from cat back to his true form, looking at everyone with a perplexed expression
“About time you all arrived.” the father chuckled as he looked at Hyunbin, whose glare towards Donghan intensified as soon as he arrived
“Hyunbin, we need to talk.” Yongguk called for Hyunbin, making him laugh as he looked at him
“Talk? Okay, let’s talk. I’ll go first. Why did you go to y/n’s place?” he asked as he crossed his arms
“I only went to stop you from harming y/n.” Yongguk admitted, looking at Donghan right after
“Why would you? When Donghan could have went himself?” Hyunbin smirked
“Enough!” Hongsuk shouted out of anger, but none of them were fazed by their great uncle’s roar
“Next time, Donghan, keep an eye on your belongings” Hyunbin snickered as he walked over to Donghan, and slowly looked at Yongguk
“Before someone else steals it from you.” Hyunbin continued, chuckling as he went up the stairs and to his bedroom, looking at everyone before he slammed his door shut
“Yongguk, why didn’t you tell me y/n was in danger?” Donghan retorted as he looked at Yongguk, who gulped before he could answer
“Father and Hongsuk are both here, and I know that they were here for you. So I-“ Yongguk suddenly stopped as he looked at the father, then to Hongsuk
“It’s almost sunrise. We better go.” Hongsuk said as he faced the father
“Both of you, off to your rooms. We will come over in a few days.” Hongsuk commanded as he and the father ran fast out of their home, leaving Yongguk and Donghan in the living room
“I’ll see you when I wake up.” Yongguk sighed as he slowly walked to the stairs
“You never answered me.” Donghan said in a serious tone, turning to look at Yongguk, who stopped walking the moment he spoke
“I broke one rule for the sake of saving her for you. I don’t care whether you despise me or you thank me for it. I’m only doing my job.” Yongguk sighed as he answered, not looking back at Donghan, and then shortly walked up the stairs to his room, leaving Donghan as he took a deep breath to suppress his anger
-
The incident from the night before left you quite sleepless for the rest of the night but you knew you shouldn’t skip your 8am class. You yawned as you walked your way inside the gate, already finding Donghan who was standing by a tree, holding an umbrella even though it was gloomy enough for him to not have to hide from sunlight. You sighed as you looked at him from afar, him just staring back at you as he stood. You hurriedly walked to the science building of the campus, hoping to get inside in time for your laboratory class. You saw Donghan again stand by the door, opening it for you as you blankly looked at him
“Thanks.” you muttered soullessly as you directly went inside the building and quickly went your way to your room
Once you turned left, you were suddenly stopped by Donghan, where you almost ran unto his chest in the process
“Please move.” you said as you looked down
“I’m sorry.” Donghan said under his breath as he kept on looking at you
“For what?” you looked up
“For not being there last night.” Donghan blinked as he spoke fast
“It’s alright, Donghan. I have to go.” you moved to the side to run to your class
“I know you’re not happy and I know you were worried on where I was.” Donghan said, and you stopped walking and turned to him, sighing at the sight of his clear gaze
“Sometimes I wished you were just there whenever I need you the most.” you bit your bottom lip as you stopped yourself from spouting any more words, trying not to let any teardrop drop from your eye from your anger and fear. Donghan became speechless, but you just shook your head and turned to go to your classroom in time for your class
Donghan looked at you the moment you went inside the laboratory, standing outside the door as he looked at you become wary from your surroundings as you put on your lab coat and goggles
“Just do her a favor and bite her.” someone said as he stood behind Donghan, and Donghan just turned to see Hyunbin smirking as he glanced at you through the small window of the laboratory, and then looked back at Donghan
“You know I can’t do that.” Donghan glared
“You can’t do that yourself, but there is no rule for you to not bite someone you have fallen in love with.” he chuckled, making Donghan become uncomfortable
“I don’t love her.” Donghan insisted, looking at you through the door again
“Don’t lie to me, Donghan. You can’t be obvious enough.” Hyunbin walked around Donghan as he continued
“You are protective of her. You take care of her more than you ever visit our mother and only sister. You are always seen with her. You look at her differently from other mortals. What more do we have to suspect?” Hyunbin shook his head as he stopped walking and looked at you through the door
“See, she is one of a kind. She knows of our existence and she can keep the secret. But, she can’t keep it her whole life. There will be a time that she will have to die. Why? Because she is not immortal. And when that time comes, you know neither all of us can save her from her death unless one of us bites her whilst she is alive.” Hyunbin sighed as he turned to look at Donghan, who looked at Hyunbin again in anger
“How do you know none of us can’t turn her into a vampire once she dies?” Donghan asked, sounding annoyed
“In one of our rules, once a mortal that knows of our existence dies, she cannot be reincarnated nor become a vampire. Typically, she will lose all her memories of vampires or any other supernatural creatures in her afterlife, where she will live differently from her time here on earth. So, if she does die, she’ll forget about us. And most of all, she’ll forget about you.” Hyunbin rolled his eyes as he turned to slowly walk to the other side of the hall
“Why are you telling me about this? How are you so certain about everything you just said? Why are you suddenly speaking to me about her death?” Donghan furrowed his brows in anger, and Hyunbin just sighed as he turned his head a bit to look at Donghan
“Ask Taedong. Then you’ll know why.”

Part 2 (Raphael Santiago x Reader)
(Set in the 1900’s when he first came to New York) As Magnus walked through the streets of busy New York he noticed how different it was then England. The air was thicker and the people busier. People pushed and shoved past the magical man, only muttering under their breaths about his ‘eccentric’ clothes and different skin. As it was late however more and more people left the street although they were certainly not empty. As Magnus walked passed a side street he heard a  bang as if someone had slammed a door. Ever so curious the warlock entered the side street slowly. “You little piece of crap!” he heard a man yell. Magnus sped up but stayed unnoticed by the other two people. A deranged looking man shoved a small child of around nine years old against a wall. The child was silent, looking their father directly in the eyes which only seemed to madden him. “You’re an abomination. A heretic. What even are you-you little freak?” The man shoved the child harder into the wall when he was met by silence. “Answer me! Cat got your tongue? Oh no that’s right, your just useless.” The man reached behind him and the nine-year-old didn’t react while Magnus was trying his hardest not too. Magnus clenched his jaw, thinking of his own stepdad. What had the child done to deserve this? The man pulled out something Magnus could not make out before he heard it. The man shot his revolver at the child from two metres away. Before he could even react the child did themselves. They hurtled their arms round in a circular formation and shot a ball of magic at the bullet. “You little bitch!” The man went to reload his revolver to aim at the calm child. By this time Magnus was ready. “I wouldn’t recommend doing that.” “Why not? Who are you?” the man turned the revolver to face the shadows which the warlock stepped out of. Magnus let his cat eyes show to the mundane who cowered back before going right back to his normal self. “You’re one of them! You freak of nature, you-“ Before the man could continue Magnus had shot a spell at them, knocking them back into a wall. The revolver went flying out of his hand and to the feet of the silent child. Magnus held the man against the wall with magic while he struggled. He couldn’t use magic to kill him. The clave would know and that isn’t what he wants them to think of New York’s new warlock. The child seemed to sense this as they appeared at Magnus’s elbow holding the revolver. “Sweetheart, put that down. It's not safe.” The child's face stayed blank as they raised the gun. “Go on then. Kill me like you killed her!” the man cried, face bright red. “Kill me like you killed your mother. You abo-“ before he could finish his sentence a gunshot cut him off. The man slumped against the wall as blood began to pour out his chest. Magnus let go of him and turned to the child. They weren’t even shaking. “Are you ok sweetheart? What’s your name?” Magnus crouched down and turned them away from the scene. The child shook their head. “I promise I won't bite.” The child merely shook their head. This time though he got a glimpse of something. Snake eyes. “I want to help. I understand what you're going through.” This time Magnus stared into snake eyes with his cat ones. The child stepped back and pulled something from their pocket, a battered notebook and a pencil worn down to the nub. They flipped the pages and held it out to Magnus. He took a few moments to read the almost illegible writing. “(Y/N), is that your name?” they nodded yes. “Very well.” Magnus stood up straight as he felt people were coming. He held out his hand to the little one who took it with a straight face. “Follow me.” Magnus began to walk slowly so his new accomplish didn’t trip though he quickly realised he needed as they were essentially pulling him along. Magnus quickened his step to meet the children. As it was late and he didn’t want to cause this child more trouble he signalled a coach. He helped the small child in before telling the man where to go. As always the man was wary of the man of a different race but that soon changed as he flashed his golden rings encrusted with jewels. Magnus entered the coach and sat across from the child. “Have you ever ridden in a coach before?” Magnus asked with a soft smile. They shook their head no. “Do you like it?” After a moment of no reaction, the child grinned and nodded their head yes, excitedly. “I always like the sound of the horses pulling it. It's relaxing.” The child nodded but pointed to the curtains covering the window. “The curtains? Is that what you like?” The child nodded and took Magnus’s hand before placing it against the soft fabric. “Soft,” he commented before looking back at (Y/N). “is that why you like them?” The child nodded bashfully. The pair fell into a comfortable silence. Magnus stared at (Y/N) who had moved to sit next to the window as to look out beyond the curtains. He couldn’t help but feel for them. They had just had to kill their ‘father’ and by the sounds of things their mother. They were taking it surprisingly well. But he knew they weren’t really. No one would be able to be ok with murdering their parents. Well, maybe that guy but still. The memories of his own stepfather filled his mind. He didn’t even realise he was crying until he felt a small hand wipe away his tears with a torn handkerchief. “Thank you but I’m fine.” The child cocked their head to the side and shook their head no. “It's fine. Truly .” he didn’t know whether (Y/N) could say something back or not but they chose not to further their conversation. Soon enough though the coach pulled up to his apartment complex. He stepped out and helped (Y/N) down before saying ‘thank you’ to the man and paying him, with a tip of course. As the coach pulled away a hand grabbed Magnus’s. He was slightly surprised but considering (Y/N) didn’t even look at him he didn’t mind. “Sorry, we’re right up to the top.” Magnus brought (Y/N) up to his apartment and led them inside. He lit the fire and guided them to sit on the sofa. “How old are you anyway?” Magnus turned to see (Y/N) counting on their fingers. After a moment they held up 9 with slight confusion on their face. “Nine?” they nodded their head. Magnus watched the child look around his apartment, marvelling at his antiques. That was until they accidentally knocked a hundred-year-old vase down at which point he stood up. (Y/N) looked panicked at the broken vase and began to pick up the pieces. “There's no need darling. You’ll cut yourself.” Magnus walked over and went to take the pieces from them. When he grabbed their wrist in order to take the pieces magic shot out their hand and hit Magnus. “Ow!” Magnus held his nose that felt like it had been punched. The child stood up and ran before Magnus had a chance to stop them. They ran down the corridor into one of his guest rooms. Magnus soon followed after quickly waving his hand in order to fix the vase. He knocked lightly on the door. When he got no response he opened it and walked into the unlit room. He waved his hand and the gas lamp turned on. He saw the child under the covers hiding. Although he could tell they were pretending to sleep he kissed their forehead, turned the light out and left.
The next morning Magnus woke and got dressed. As he went to check on (Y/N) he noticed they were gone. Panicked, he grabbed the notebook they had left behind and began to track them. He ended up being lead to a small marketplace filled with working class people. Not that that was a bad thing, just that he definitely stood out. As he weaved his way through the crowds, glad he didn't carry much money due to pickpocketers he’d already felt trying to empty his pockets, he searched for the new warlock. He came across a small stall with an older lady selling flowers. Next, to the lady, he saw (Y/N). “(Y/N)! Why did you leave?” Magnus crouched down next to the child and hugged them. After a moment they hugged back. After hearing someone clear their throat he looked up to the lady. He stood up quickly and held out his hand. “Magnus Bane.” “Rosemary Goldstein.” She said softly. “No need to worry Mr Bane. I'm not going to report you.” She glanced down to (Y/N).  “Can you look after the stall little one. I’ll be back in a moment.” They nodded their head so Rosemary lead him aside. She glanced around before speaking. “I’m assuming you know of their… condition?” Magnus nodded and flashed his eyes. “Ah, makes sense. Well, they aren’t from the best of homes and they just found their father dead. Can you believe it?” Magnus made a face of fake sorrow. “Mmm,” she hummed. “Well I would but cant looks after them. I already have two of my own and I fear I’m coming down with something. I know I'm being bold but since you already seem to care for (Y/N), would you consider taking them in?” Magnus looked to the little one playing with flowers and guarding the stall. He knew what they were going through and he vowed to help downworlders a long time ago and they’d be no different. Ok maybe slightly different as he was hopefully about to be a father. “I’d be honoured.” Rosemary clapped her hands in excitement. “Oh thank Merlin! Just a warning though, I don’t think they can talk.” “I've noticed.” Magnus grimaced at their misfortune. “All I hope is they chose not to and one day we’ll hear their beautiful voice.” The pair walked back over to (Y/N). “Darling,” (Y/N) turned. “how would you like to stay with Mr Bane?” (Y/N) raised an eyebrow in confusion before pointing to Magnus. “Yes honey, him.” They nodded their head. “Excellent.” And it was. From that day forward (Y/N) had a family. They lived with Magnus and visited the Goldstien’s weakly when the daughters were back from school. Although they never did talk, (Y/N)’s and Magnus’s bond was as strong as any parent-child relationship. Maybe stronger.

“Are you like Daredevil or something?”
“Who?”
“Nevermind.”
“No, no. Tell me.”
“Oh, you’re Daredevil, he’s Batman. You’re both Ben Affleck.”  Lydia walked up to us. I hadn’t even noticed it, until she had said that and sat down next to me. Stiles looked extremely confused.
“How do you know Daredevil?”
“I’m not an idiot, Stiles. I know about things.” As soon as she said it, she looked a bit nervous at me. “That’s not what I meant. I meant that…”
“It’s okay,” I smiled, “It’s not your fault that my parents raised me like some kind of amish.” Lydia let herself  laugh a bit. I realised how awkward it was for them.
Obviously I had to tell them my secret. It would make everything so much easier for me,but for them too. And then I could at least act like a normal person around them.
But what if they would be angry at me for not telling them immediately. What if they could think I was just using them all this time. They would probably hate me for the rest of my life.
“(Y/N)!” Stiles got me out of my deep and dark thoughts.
“Huh? What?”
“You kind a zoned out there for a second?” Lydia looked concerned.
“Did you have a vision?” Stiles looked at me?
“What is that supposed to mean?”
“Oh yeah. Eh, nevermind. It was kind of a stupid joke anyway.” he rubbed the back of his neck. I couldn’t help, but feel extremely sad. I wanted to say something but got interrupted by Lydia:”I think we should get you home. Remember, I promised your dad to bring you home after school.”
“I completely forgot. I guess you’ll have to teach me about Lacrosse some other time.” I said to Stiles. He just smiled weakly/
I said a quick bye to everybody and followed Lydia to her car. I ticked my cane on the ground, aimlessly, but still in the same direction.
“Wait!” a shrill voice stopped us in our footsteps. “You two, get over here!” Coach Finstock waved around. Hesitantly I walked to him, trying to stay a few steps behind Lydia the whole time. To be honest, he did scare me a bit. Not as much as he scared Stiles, but enough not to want to be close to him. Did anyone actually want to stand next to him? From the short time I’ve been here, I don’t think anyone was really eager to have a conversation with the coach.
“Why were you leaving?” He looked at me. I had no idea what to answer.
“We were going to my car. I have to bring her home, coach,” Lydia told the crazy man.
“Aren’t you trying out?”
“Trying out for what?” I asked him puzzled.
“For the team of course! We need someone that can actually shoot and aim.” I couldn’t help but notice that he glanced over to Stiles as he said that.
“I don’t think I-”
“What? Because you’re a girl? Kira is a girl.”
“It’s not that. I just don’t-”
“Is it you’re grades?  I can give you a better one for the next Econ quiz.”
“No, I just -”
“You’re parents?”
“NO!” I was fed up. I understand that he was trying to be nice and was doing his best to get me on the team. But the coach could at least listen to me for a second. So, I did what had to be done. What was probably the only way to get him quiet. I took of my glasses and tried to hit him with my cane. Obviously I swung a few inches above his head. (As much as I would love to hit him, he is still a teacher and I do not need any of that on my record.)
Coach duck his head quickly and almost fell on the ground. It was very clear that he was trying his best not to say every curse word he could.
Once he was back on his feet, he looked at me. But that was also only very quick. As soon as he looked at my face, he cringed and turned away from me. I couldn’t help but laugh. When Lydia noticed that I wasn’t mad, she laughed too.
“It’s you.” Coach simply said, “What are you doing here if you can’t see?”
“The fact that I can’t see, does not mean I can not support my friends.” I had put on my glasses back and I couldn’t help, but glance at Stiles as I said that.
“That was definitely something,” Lydia said as she started her car. I was sitting next to her in the passenger's seat.  We hadn’t said a word to each other until we had reached the vehicle in the parking lot.
“Yeah,” I said. It was silent for a few seconds and then we both burst out in laughter. I haven’t had a laugh like that in a long time. Once we calmed down a bit, Lydia took off. She drove out of the parking lot of the school and we made our way to my house.
“Is Stiles really that bad at Lacrosse as everyone makes it sound like,” I asked as Lydia took a sharp turn to the left.
“He is actually really good,” Lydia sighed, “He’s just really insecure. But once he has the confidence, he can be amazing. Last year he scored the winning points in the finale. But then…” Lydia suddenly stopped talking. As if it wasn’t her place to talk about it. “Then, that summer, he started to train like crazy. He thought he would be co-captain, together with Scott. But then, Liam showed up.”
“Liam?” I laughed, thinking about the little boy I met yesterday at lunch.
“He may look like a shrimp, but that guy is an absolute beast on the field,” she had to pause for a second as there was someone in front of us who didn’t know how to drive, “Anyway, it completely devastated Stiles.”
“That’s…”
“Yeah. but please don’t tell him that you know. It would kill him.”
“I understand.” but I actually didn’t. Lydia made it sound like it was the worst thing in the world for Stiles to know that I knew about that. What was so special about me? I barely knew him… or anyone in Beacon Hills. And probably I won’t get too know anyone as long as my mother won’t let me make actual friends. When I started to think about my mom, and everything that happened last night and this morning, I suddenly didn’t feel like going home. Not that I ever want to go home.
“This is probably a bit on short notice,” I said to Lydia as we were only a few streets away from my house. “But could I eat at your place tonight? If my parents let me, that is.”
“Of course,” Lydia said happily, “I’m home alone tonight anyway.”
“Thanks.”
Only seconds later, Lydia drove up to my house.
“Here we are.” Lydia unbuckled her seatbelt. I did the same and opened my door. The cold wind suddenly hit me in the face, giving me goosebumps.
“Is it me, or did it get really cold suddenly.”
“Yeah, it did.” I agreed with her. We walked together to my front door and she rang the doorbell. After a few seconds we heard footsteps and my mom opened the door for us. She looked a bit angry, but faked a smile as soon as she saw Lydia.
“Uhm, hello.” she mumbled. Lydia smiled at my mother: “Nice to meet you mrs. (Y/L/N). My name is Lydia Martin.”  she held out her hand and my mom, to my surprise, actually shook it.
“Nice to meet you Lydia. Thank you for bringing (Y/N) home. C’mon inside.”
“Actually…” I stopped my mom, “I was wondering if I could eat at Lydia’s tonight.” my mom stared at me for a few good seconds. She then laughed in relief. “Oh thank god. I thought that Lydia would stay and I would have to cook. I’m so tired from cleaning this place. Of course you can go.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, just make sure you make your homework.”
“Thank you. I’ll just go get my books then.”
“I’ll come with you.” Lydia suggested. I stopped in my footsteps. There was no way that Lydia will see my depressive excuse for a room. “No, that’s okay, I will be back in a minute.”
Once in my room, I walked to the book case. I took the two books that I would need to make my homework and walked back to the living room. My cane ticked on the floor.
“I’m ready.”
“Good.” Lydia put down the glass of water on the counter. “It was nice to meet you mrs. (Y/L/N).” Lydia waved to my mom as we walked out of the house. My mom shouted a quick goodbye too from the couch, before I closed the door.
“You know what, your mom is actually really nice.”
“Believe me, that’s only because you were there. She literally has a split personality when it comes to talking to guests or to me.” We got into the car and drove off.
The drive to Lydia’s house was surprisingly short. Once we had arrived there, I had to take a second to look at the big building.
“Home, sweet home.” she stepped out, so I did the same. The cold air hit us again, and this time the sun had also hidden behind dark clouds, making it almost look like it was night time. It also started to smell like it was about to rain.
“We should get inside quickly,” Lydia suggested. I agreed as she took my arm and guided me to the stairs that lead to the door. Lydia opened the door and it revealed a big corridor that lead to the living room and open kitchen.
“Welcome to my humble home.”
“Thanks.”
Lydia lead me to the couch where we sat down.
“Okay, as much as I want to tell you that I am a 5 star - chef, I am terrible in the kitchen,
so let’s just order something. How about pizza?”
“Yes please.”
“Anything in particular.”
“Salame.”
“Okay, let me order it quickly.” She took her phone out of her bag and left the room quickly. I took that time to look around. The room was big and filled with, probably, very expensive things. But at the same time it looked very cozy.
“Alright. The pizza is on it’s way.”
The next hour or so, we spend doing our homework and then later on also eating pizza with it. Meanwhile we were enjoying our greasy dinner inside, it had started to rain cats and dogs. The wind had also started to even harder than before.
Lydia and I talked a lot about ourselves. We were actually much more alike than I thought.
“I think we are going to be great friends.” she said and it made me blush a bit. This was the first thing that I actually had made a friend. But it did made me wonder a bit….
“I’m curious,” I said as I finished my last piece of pizza. “How is it possible that you are all so cool with me looking like… this?”
“Were we supposed to ignore such a cool girl as you?”
“No, that’s not what I mean.” I laughed. “It’s just that, normally when I show my face to people, it normally ends up like with coach. They just scream or try to run away,” we both giggled at the thought of that, “but not you guys. You all act so casual about it. As if this is normal.” I had pointed to my face.
“I suppose we just saw much more worse things than a few scars,” she said casually.
“You want to tell me, that you sw worse things than this.” I pulled of my glasses. Lydia didn’t even flinch. She just smiled sheepishly.
“Okay, you want to know what it is.” I just nodded. “We met you before you had showed us those scars. Stiles had a whole walk to a classroom before he saw them. I didn’t seem them until this afternoon and I don’t even think that the rest had seen them. If you know a person, it shouldn’t matter how they look like, right? You should know that.”
“Can I hug you?” I felt my eyes sting again. However, I knew very well that these would have been happy tears.
“Of course.” she hugged me tightly and I hugged her back. When she let me go, Lydia looked behind me and her eyes widened.
“O wow, it got late. I should probably get you home.”
“I guess so.” We got up and headed to the door. Lydia opened it and it only took me one step outside to almost fall down on the ground. Fortunately, Lydia had caught me just in time.
“I don’t think it’s the best thing to drive in this weather. We would sooner slip and die than get to your house.”
“You should call my dad.” She did as I suggested and my dad picked up after a couple of seconds.
“Hello. Mr (Y/L/N)? Yes this is Lydia Martin. As you know, (Y/N) was at my home and just wanted to bring her back home, but with this weather, I don’t think it’s possible to drive. Could she maybe… Oh, OK. Thank you. Goodbye,” and she hung up.
“You can stay.” she said a bit confused.
We decided to get back inside. Lydia had given me something to wear as a pyjama and our conversation continued. It was almost midnight, when I decided to do something that I had never done and never thought I would do.
“I have to tell you something.”
“Sure.” she put down her drink.  “What’s wrong?”
“I’m saying this, because I trust you and please don’t be mad.”
“You’re scaring me. Just tell me already.” Lydia started to look a bit worried.
“And swear that you won’t tell anyone else. This has to stay a secret. At some point, I will tell the rest, but I think that you are the best person to start with.”
Lydia didn’t say anything for some time. Then, her eyes almost lit up from excitement. She squealed: “Oh my God. Are you in love with Stiles?!”
“What?”
“C’mon, you are totally falling for him.”
“No,” I shook my head, “that wasn’t even what I wanted to say.”
“So you do like him?”
“Can we please not talk about this now,” I begged her, “I actually wanted to tell you something really important.”
“Yeah, being in love is a pretty big deal. Hahaha, I’m joking. What is it?”
I had to take a deep breath. I was going to do it. There was no going back now. Not anymore.
“You know that I was born blind, not because of the attack that got me these scars.”
“Yeah,” the redhead looked at me with full confusion showing on her face.
“Well, that’s not everything that happened. After the attack, I woke up in the hospital, days after, I could see.”
“What!” I flinched at the loud, high pitched sound she had just made. I slowly pulled of my glasses for what felt like the hundredth time that day. I looked up at Lydia as I folded the glasses up. She was staring at me with wide eyes.
“I don’t know how it is possible, but I can see. I am really sorry if you feel like I have been using you. You have to understand that I’m only doing this, because I don’t want to be a scientific experiment.”
Lydia still didn’t say a word. She brushed her hand through her hair, looking extremely confused.
If I could cry, I would have by that moment. What had I done? I just told her my biggest secret and now she probably hates me.
But I was wrong. Lydia suddenly made another shrieking noise and hugged me. I felt all the air being pressed out of my lungs. WHo would have thought that a petite girl like her had so much power in her.
“That is amazing! Now I can go shopping with you and watch cheesy chick-flicks and…”
“Calm down.” I got her of off me and she apologised for almost choking me.
“I have to call them!” Lydia stood up.
“Wait? Who are you going to call?”
“Stiles, Scott, the rest.”
“No, please don’t.”
“Don’t worry. We also have to tell you something.”
