Hello doll! Now that people are finally appreciating my baby boy Finny 🤧, I need more people to talk about older Cielinny. Cause I always talk about older Cielinny when they already adults but late teens?? Early adults? I always like to imagine how it takes them to come to term with how their relationship is more than just platonic to some extent. Like there’s so many ups and downs between them. Trying to find a new bride or getting to court someone after the whole engagement being broken off. (Sad I feel like it’s the only right thing for poor lizzy mental state.) But will like to see if you have any thoughts about it :0

I think it's always been a bit difficult for me overall shipping o!ciel with anyone, I mean, I do but I imagine and feel like the romantic aspects aren't that heavy. He seems in my eyes like someone who cares and loves but truly cannot get too physical with them? And as we've seen with those who care about him, it's rough.

HOWEVER , hear me out friend, whether in AU form or maybe, indeed, in a version where the events go.. okay in the manga and o!ciel can get older, I can see him possibly being able to focus on family and a love, especially one like Finny who is conveniently close and in a sense they grew up together.

And older finny I imagine finally learns to respect o!ciel and not glomp and hold him too tight, and o!ciel warming up to things like hanging out more with him, listening to his exciting rambling, enjoying things he never appreciated before such as the different flowers in his own gardens, the seasons and weather, and get to do things he couldn't before while so so hyperfixated on revenge like picnics and boat riding and going off exploring especially if they go somewhere else like another country.

And also, in typical Victorian tradition, O!Ciel writing to Finny, sharing notes to better express his feelings through that. He's no poet for sure, but he wants Finny to know he appreciates all he is, doesn't want him to ever change despite how dark the world is, and ... loves him even if he cannot give him the same beautiful romantic relationships in the books.

And thus Finny works HARD himself to write back, revealing he IS more poetic (in my opinion even if English isn't his first language) and REALLY tells o!ciel how much he means to him, no holding back at all, leading to the young earl GOING RED and having to reread things a few times vtryfuygih

YESSSS and then I remember the ol "bottom from the top" term, which 100% is Sebastian in these types of situations too. He is still asking for it, absolutely hungry, but like, he KNOWS he's gotta set things in motion or else nothing will ever happen ffs bard 😩

God I keep trying to imagine Sebard scenarios, and every time I do, I remember the interesting fact that Sebastian is taller than Bard. This defies how they are. Seb being the bottom and the one who wants and craves attention, and Bard being the gruff, hesitant top..
