The A. Plot Trio redesigned. Personalities largely the same, although (Le)Sha(u)na trades some of her trademark slang to make room for an even more snarky attitude.

Emphasis on “some”. Her calling Harry a tadpole will never not be funny.

Heather’s a little less impulsive here. Where the canon one would read Gwen’s dialogue to the world, this one would hide it and use it as blackmail. Harold’s about the same, but even more of a theatre kid.

I like to think that the writing on his shirt will change every episode.

Justin starts off as his Action self: not a complete jerk, but still very vain and petty. Katie and Sadie, however, get a complete overhaul, going the “odd friendship” route by playing up Katie’s energetic tendencies and Sadie’s relative intelligence.

Now I kinda regret ditching the hat. Eh. Anyway, they’re about the same.

Owen, Tyler, and DJ are mostly unchanged. Cody plays up his geeky traits and whatever flirting skills he had in canon are completely gone here, since Gwen doesn’t even realize he likes her throughout the season.

Also step aside, Beth. Cody’s the new shortest guy in the camp.

Speaking of which, Beth’s artistic talents are a more active part of her characterization, hence the stickers and paint splatters. Ezekiel’s more of a basket case. Turns out his canon counterpart hates going outside. Of course I started to run with it and I made him a typical “quiet kid”. He’s slightly more socially aware, but he’s probably still going home first (not that he’s complaining).

Lindsay’s the same, but lookit her cool jacket!

Courtney’s bossiness is gone almost entirely; she’s a pure teacher’s (read: host’s) pet. The only one she’s trying to push around is a canon compliant Duncan.

Noah’s part of Heather’s alliance as her spy, just as the rumors say. Eva’s more social, generally more boisterous, but no less temperamental. I may have ripped off TD Reunion’s look for her.

Izzy is a universal constant. She changes for nobody.

I could’ve added Sierra and Alejandro. But I didn’t, because where’s the fun in that?

BTW, these are very rough designs. TD’s art style, despite being the inspiration for my own, is deceptively hard to emulate.

Jeremy (Killer Bass) is a mischievous prankster who the rest of his team quickly deems an annoyance but keeps around for his unorthodox thinking. He almost immediately forms a kinship with Harold and Tyler as the team’s outcasts, meaning Courtney and Bridgette have to deal with two warring trios as whoever hasn’t been eliminated by this point watches in amusement.

Addison (Not Killer Bass) is a fast talking hustler who’s smuggled a ton of sweets into camp and barters them off to the other Gophers, mostly Owen, Izzy, and Cody, in exchange for assistance. She’s a member of Heather’s alliance, bringing their numbers up to five, but she’s clearly a wildcard who’ll flip on her if it’s convenient. Heather can’t trust so easily, but Addison’s ironically one of the few who doesn’t hate her.

I have a whole elimination order planned out, but I don’t have the time to write a full fanfic, so I’ll just keep it shelved for now. Maybe I’ll just make a broad outline.

contents: smoking, jealousy, charlie being a loser

you didn’t care much for school. classes were redundant and monotonous, there was always some sort of drama that you got yourself roped into, and unfortunately for you, you’d always be the second choice for charlie walker. truly embarrassing.

if the flannels and button-up shirts didn’t classify him as a nerd, then the fact that he was a complete film geek and could quote every line in the scream franchise verbatim definitely did. so it was completely lost on you how he’d managed to score a girl like kirby reed.

as you hastily put in your combination into your rusted lock, down the hallway you heard charlie crack a stupid joke to kirby, earning a forced laugh out of her. you glanced at them through your peripherals as they passed by, seeing the way he looked at her with such infatuation and that stupid grin on his face.

you bit your lip, looking into your locker as a sting of envy coiled in your gut. it wasn’t like you were undesirable or anything. you frequently got your fair share of being asked on dates and cute little notes in your locker, but your heart knew exactly what it wanted.

kirby and charlie parted ways, their interaction ending with kirby giving him a playful slap on the chest before walking away. he stood in the center of the hallway, looking like he had just won the lottery with the way he was beaming. you rolled your eyes, slamming your locker shut and trudging out of the building. you had a class right now, but any intention you had of showing up had vanished instantly.

the sun blinded you momentarily, the warmth of the outside wrapping you in a gleaming blanket. you made your way to the fountain, sitting down on the edge and setting down your bookbag. you dug into your pocket, fishing out a nearly empty pack of cigarettes and a hot-pink lighter with a worn-out ghostface sticker on it. a stupid little gift charlie had given you in freshman year.

you tucked the cigarette in between your teeth, lighting it and taking a long drag. you fiddled with you lighter, your mind starting to wander to how you got in this position in the first place. you could’ve sworn that he liked you back. just a month ago, you two had gotten drunk at a party and he’d asked if you wanted to see his movie collection. a strange request, yes, but it was his own way of showing his affection. but now it seemed like he was just playing you like a cheap yoyo.

“smoking on school grounds? how scandalous.” his geeky voice snapped you back to reality. you looked up to see him standing above you, his auburn hair looking like pure gold in the sunshine. you rolled your eyes, exhaling a thin ribbon of smoke. “sue me.” you muttered as he sat down beside you.

you were angry at him but god, why did he have to look so ethereal? his ice-cold irises were swallowed by his pupils as he looked at you, his thigh brushing against you. “i… i haven’t seen you in a while. h-how’ve you been?” he plastered a smile onto his face, obviously uncomfortable by this interaction.

you scoffed. “save me the small talk, charlie. what do you want?” he pouted a little, looking more pathetic than ever. “you mad at me or something?” you turned away slightly, not wanting to see his face or else your cold demeanor may break. he snaked an arm around your waist. “you’re too pretty to be mad, y’know?”

you twirled the cigarette between your fingers. ”i bet you say that to all the girls…” he froze for a moment before smirking a little. “oh, that’s what this is about. you’re jealous, huh?” he pulled you in closer, almost pulling you onto his lap before you began to squirm. “quit it, will you? you can’t just pretend to like me then go ahead and eyefuck kirby everytime you talk to her.”

he raised an eyebrow. “so it’s fine for you to get asked out by every guy in school but when i talk to another girl you get all mad at me?” he scoffed. you shook your head, putting a hand on his shoulder to turn him back to you. “i reject every single one of them in hopes that one day you’ll gather up the balls to ask me out.” you froze up. you hadn’t meant to reveal that much to me.

but a hint of a smile lit up his face. he glanced down, looking at the lighter in your hand and taking in the sight of the conspicuous sticker on it. he took your hand into his, opening yours to get a better look. “w-woah… you still have this..?” you rolled your eyes a little. “don’t get any ideas. i’ve tried to get it off but it wouldn’t budge.”

he laughed a little, holding you close to him. you felt his faint heartbeat against your back, letting a moment of silence drape over you two. then he spoke again. “h-hey, i never finished showing you my movie collection. are you down tonight to take a look at the rest of them?” it was your turn to roll your eyes. “i swear, you’re the biggest loser in the world.”

he beamed with joy, giving you a tight squeeze around your waist. “i’ll take that as a yes.”

Over half a decade later, I *finally* did a sticker update.

…sensing the momentous occasion, Salvatore the Cat immediately photobombed.

He didn't have room to sneak into the laptop photo like he did for the camera case, but at his next available opportunity?

Yup, two for two.

I think he got bored after that.

But yeah. Stickers.

Stickers are fun.

Six years later, people on photoshoots have absolutely loved the aesthetic. It's like a thousand geeky conversation starters (and a bunch of cats).

Completely random haha. You know what one of my favorite things is? When I’m working with people who haven’t gotten the chance to know me well yet, and I tell them how old I am. And they are shocked. Absolutely gobsmacked. That this person, with their stickers on everything and their enamel pride pins and geeky interests and piercings and Avant Garde haircuts and and obviously deliberately androgynous presentation is…middle aged. (Gonna go ahead and out myself here). A whole ass adult. With all the giddy weirdness so often assigned only to young people, young enough to not know any better supposedly. Yet here I am, older and goofy and weird and proud of it. Embracing who you truly are is not only the province of the young, but also the brave. You’re never too old to shed the skin society assigned you and become who you were meant to be. Fly in the face of every expectation set upon you. There is no “right” age to figure it out and fall in love with yourself.

I'm at Geek Craft Expo Seattle! Find me at booth #B-08

My final show of the year is this weekend at Hangar 30 / Magnuson Park | Seattle WA. It's a Holiday show, but it's also basically if you took the artist alley/exhibitor hall from a geeky convention and let you get in for just $2! Ok it's literally that :D More info at this link

I'll share some images of a few things I'll have this year, but there are a TON of new prints, especially in the hand embellished Limited Edition Category.

There will be a bin of Original artwork including a few on sale (PS my shop will be closed for a week for the show)

I'll have bundles and singles of my new Rune Owls stationary planner series

And a few other things at my booth: tons of stickers, washi tape, prints, mouse pads, and gaming playmats / deskmats.

And there will be a limited selection of discount blind bags for old and retired prints packed up all nice like this! There are different themes, like dragons, fantasy mix, and animals and nature. Each pack has 15 prints for $30. If any are left after the show I'll throw them to my mailing list.

I'll also have B-Grade enamel pins in these absolutely adorable gift boxes. The black box has 4 pins for $20 ($60 value) and the gold box is $40 ($120 value). These are ridiculous "I desperately need to move these ASAP because I'm tired of them taking up precious space" prices. Again, if there are any left over I'll toss them up on my site next week to the mailing list. ;D

If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping by! It's ALL local, small artists and artisans - the best way to support small businesses for holiday shopping and just in general.

We haven't quite figured out what we're doing here on le Tumblrs.

Do we introduce ourselves?

Like, formally?

Do we show you stuff about old-school screen printing -- videos and ramblings about designing and printing tees, dice bags, cloth maps, stickers and all the other stuff we make?

Or do we just start rambling about mental health and chaosbrain and running a small geeky LGBT+ business the south during the hellscape that is US late stage capitalism?

Bird app was/is pretty accommodating to my random brain, our assortment of nonsense, and happily accepted pictures of all four cats as Legitimate Content.

I guess the most important thing to know about anything we post on any of our social media
