Only Friends, Episode 5 - The Extra Hour

In which we get Sand’s backstory (and proving once and for all he is the best boy ever, even P’Jojo said so!) before petty Boston ruins everything (again 😩)

Sand and Ray

Gosh…these 2 are everything this episode. We start with a montage of how mundane and boring Sand life is - study, working his multiple jobs, exercising, counting his finance and repeat…until Ray comes beaming into his life, and really give some much needed sunshine (heh, see what I did there?) to Sand’s life - and as per Sand, “his 25th hour.”

I love the domestic scenes we get - from Ray pretty much moving in with Sand (I suspect some time has passed by from the previous episode), to their domestic horny stuffs, to Sand catering Ray’s every whim. But as much as Sand spoils Ray, Ray actually does the same - he could have chosen not to go on the bike with Sand (after whining how hot and dusty it will be), he could have chosen not to model and indulge Sand’s desire for him to wear Sand’s style of clothes (after again whining halfheartedly it’s not his style).

I believe Ray is gradually but surely moving on from his unrequited love for Mew. He likes getting to know Sand - from all the above, to following Sand to the makeshift concert (and the song choice!! It’s from one of P’Jojo’s list for Sand’s Spotify!). And the fact that everytime Sand is with him, they are in their own world (I mean, poor Summer - she never stood a chance with Ray 😂…are we sure Ray is a playboy? So far, all I’m getting is him being hyper focus on one person when he likes someone - previously Mew, now Sand).

I also love the serious conversations these 2 have surrounding their births and their respective relationships with their parents - it makes such a good foundation for their blossoming friendship (and hopefully relationship). Gosh, the parallel of both being born from unexpected pregnancies - but Sand’s mom (and her gaggle of go-go women, I LOVE THEM) deciding to embrace him and raise him right (just look at how independent and self-reliance he is! P’Jojo tweeted how Sand is someone you want as a boyfriend in University, and I agree wholeheartedly) while Ray’s mom unfortunately fall into post-partum depression and spiralled into alcoholism (and the way Sand’s hand shook when he poured the alcohol drink for Ray, before the camera zoom to Sand looking at Ray to the bottle while Ray looked somehow bitter and sad - yes, FK again showing their supremacy in acting 👌)

But urgh, their blossoming relationship is now in tatters because of Boston being bitter and petty. I think Boston being informed by Mew that the latter is giving up his virginity to Top put him at edge. (And him yet again using Nick to forget about the fact, hence the reason he asked Nick whether he could stay the night at Nick’s place, when it’s usually the opposite)

And so to see Ray moving on, being happy with Sand - it snapped him. Boston is the type of person who can’t stand not winning, and I also think he has the mentality of “if I’m not happy, nobody can.” 😫

I still do not believe Ray and Mew slept together, so whatever Boston is spouting “are you two timing him?”, what does that even mean? Also, Mew called to say he was giving his virginity to Top…and even if they did slept together, it was TWO years ago. And now Ray knows Boston took pictures of RayMew kissing each other…gawd, Boston just sounded delusional during that whole scene.

In whatever case, the damage is done. And we see Sand guarding his heart again, despite Ray genuinely trying (for the first time) communicating by stating “If there is something you want to know, ask me, I’ll answer them.” Unfortunately, Sand is weary and it didn’t help Ray kept saying they were just friends each time someone asked what their relationship are (cause you know, Ray is a disaster muffin who won’t know he is in a relationship eventhough he basically did couply things with Sand). Urghhh…my heart just breaks for them 😭😩😫…and to end the episode with Sand shedding a tear and feeling alone (despite Ray lying next to him)…I don’t think I can forgive Boston for breaking their newfound happiness.

Nick and Boston

Which brings me to the toxic relationship of these 2. We see Nick trying to become more like Top. He exercising regularly to shape up and dress more smartly to capture Boston’s interest. But urgh…Boston as usual, plays it enough to make Nick happy (and the poor boy, Boston paying attention to the changes and commenting it, Nick thinks these are all positive things).

We also see Boston stating to Nick he wants to stop sleeping around (really?? When hell freezes over) because one of his conquest took video/photos of them together and Boston having to threaten said conquest to delete the incriminating footage (if that is not foreshadowing of what may happen to Boston in the future, I’m not sure what is. Also, Nick still has the recording of TopBoston….)

But what truly devastated me was when Boston spewing all the nonsense to SandRay that led to the massive fight between Ray and Boston; Ray warned Nick about Boston’s callous and selfish nature, and Nick just resignedly acknowledged it, fully aware he is too in love with Boston, and can’t seem to find a way out of it.

I’m sorry, but I can’t see any redeemable qualities in Boston 😭😭😭 (I love you, Neo and your acting in this series, 👌 - but urgh, Boston makes my blood boils)

Top and Mew

I can’t pinpoint it exactly but there is something not quite right with their relationship. On one hand, Top is sweet and attentive to Mew (I can see why Mew fell in love with Top). But twice now in this episode, 2 strange men stared (and smiled almost creepily at Top - with both time Mew clocking it? But not really addressing it). And Top genuinely doesn’t seem to be aware of the staring itself (or are we meant to think it’s all in Mew’s head? And it’s just Mew being insecure? 🧐🤨. I mean Mew did warn Top in the first episode he can become obsessive). I also do not believe one bit Top has given up on his drug habits plus his side eyeing Boston while shading both Boston and Ray in front of Mew (albeit subtly), is he slowly trying to manipulate Mew and isolate Mew from his group of friends?)

Nonetheless, Mew and Top did fall in love (or at least we are led to believe they are in love) and well, Top popped Mew’s cherry. What I cannot fathom is WHY Mew called Boston (of all people) to tell him the news. I can understand why he didn’t call Ray (so that he doesn’t rub on Ray’s unrequited love), but why not Cheum? Who from the get go rooted for TopMew. I’m not sure whether Mew has an ulterior motive or he genuinely thinks Boston will be happy for them as one of his bestie. Either way, Boston is NOT a happy camper (as we are aware) and took it out on SandRay newly found happiness.

Ray, Mew, Namchuem, Boston

Now more than ever, we are seeing cracks in their friendship. Ray and Boston don’t seem to get along without Namchuem and Mew. Ray and Mew (for obvious reasons) are probably talking the bare minimum with each other (and the fact that Top clocked on Mew and Namchuen basically doing the bulk of their hostel project tells you something). I feel the most sorry for Namchuen who has to deal with 3 sorry excuses of boys (cause let’s be honest, all 3 are disastrous in different ways)

Anyway, as usual, each episode makes my head spin and this is just me trying to figure out what’s happening. The preview from episode 6 seems wild with Mew’s birthday and Mew punching Ray? Oh dear…it’s going to be more heartbreak 😩😫😣…but onward and forward, is it Saturday yet?

Me while watching Last Twilight Ep. 10

I still don't like Day for being so darned aggressive with Night. It is clearly undeserved and stems from Day's belief that he should be the only "good" son in the family. Also learning that Jimmy apparently impromptu the line "I wish there is a rainbow (Rung)" when Mhok and Day are on the Last Twilight mountain is making me feel things 🥹🥹🥹

1. Oh Mum. You really should stop trying to control Day like that. He is blind, but he is a grown-ass man. Let Day live (and love) gods dammit. Also, what good can come out of making Mhok quit like that, huh?

2. I'll be angry at Mum on your behalf, Day. Yeah, I understand she is scared for you, but life is full of risks. Unless she wants you to go back hiding in your room again <after 5 seconds> Oh, look. Big Brother Night advocating for his beloved Nong and trying to convince Mum to start seeing reason. Unfortunately, Mum is being an effing cvnt. And also being weirdly jealous of Mhok and Day's relationship.

3. Oh my gawd. She hired the crying applicant from first episode to replace Mhok as a caretaker. Goes to show that Mum has some serious flaw in her judgment.

4. Oh, Rung's car is back. Also, is this what you want, Mum? Mhok and Day acting like they are in some kind of Romeo and Juliet play??? The fvck 🤬

5. Yeah, Mum is not homophobic. She's just your average rich snob. Which is just as worse, if you ask me. Also, trying to take away Day's agency (by taking away his phone and changing the Wi-Fi password) must be the cvnt-iest thing Mum has done so far.

6. Big brother Night comes through by sneaking in a new phone for Day. Mum is also cvnt to Night, I see. Again, WTF.

7. I want to cry on Night's behalf. Night deserves all the love, respect, and happiness in the world. 😭😭😭😭 Good for Day for finally forgiving Night (even though Night was practically blameless the night of the accident).

8. Mhok working to be a restaurant cook is like (figuratively) raising a middle finger to Day's mum. As it should. 😅

9. Night already knows Mhok is working at Porjai's restaurant. I wonder who told him <ahem, ahem>. Looks like the NightPorjai agenda is alive and well 😂😂😂 Also, I accidentally let out a loud squeal when Night said "this is my girl" to Porjai (even telling the doctor that she's pregnant with his child). Man, that was smooooth. Like butter 😅😅😅. If only Porjai didn't misinterpret Night calling the woman doctor his "girl" lol

10. A date in a library? Then an art gallery? Mhok is clearly a man after my own heart 😍😍😍

11. Aon and Day being the purest bros in this series. Also, it helps that Aon is a bit unhinged. Just look at him dance lol On the other hand, TIL that colours have different smells. Always thought they all smell like turpentine 😅😅😅

12. All of a sudden, Mum remembers to spend time with her sons. Again, my heart breaks for Night. He looks like an outsider in his own family. Gods damn, mum. You are failing both your sons. How in ever loving fvck did you managed to fvck your relationship with your sons this much??? Thank heavens Day is there to support his big bro.

13. Aww. Mhok was waiting. But at least, Day managed to deliver. Even if it's a bit too late (and the restaurant is already closed). But look at Mhok abusing his new cook privileges 😂😂😂

It's a marriage of convenience, with you helping Albedo while also getting benefits such as protection. Albedo, your husband, married you for the sake of his sister who got an incurable disease. He needed someone to take care of her since he is too busy for that. Luckily, there's you.

It's a marriage out of love, well at least for him. For you, this marriage is a golden opportunity to become closer to Albedo. An opportunity to steal his heart. Even though your true intentions are different, you still took care and love Klee. She is like a daughter to you.

You both lives in a small house prepared by Albedo in Mondstat since Klee can't handle cold temperature with such conditions. Because of his works and projects, he was rarely there. You can't blame him since he is the Chief Alchemist after all.

At first you don't really mind the lack of presence of your husband as you're well aware of how busy he is but as the days pass, you started to be self conscious, aware of the loneliness that even Klee can't cure.

He doesn't even touch you, not even once. Isn't that supposed to be the responsibility of an husband? You can only see his beautiful grayish-blonde hair when he comes to visit his sister.

You knew it's a pure loveless marriage, yet you can't help to wish.

Oh how you wish you can be closer to him, be more intimate and spend more time together. Oh how you wish to be by his side when he is drowning in work, giving him words of encouragement. Oh how you wish you can help him relief his stress, just like how any other husband and wife would.

"Sister! Do you miss Mister Albedo?"

The cute voice of Klee snaps you out of your nonsensical dilemma, you cocked your head to your left to see a cute blonde girl in red, which despite of her poor condition, are still very bright and happy.

It was delicious so you decided to go to Dragonspine to let Albedo try. I mean, his sister baked that! He should at least try a bite. You're aware that Albedo doesn't need to eat, but it doesn't hurt to try.

After alot of struggling and hardship of going to the harsh snow, you finally arrived at his lab.

There you saw him, Albedo, your husband is there with Sucrose experimenting together sitting oh so close to each other. As his wife, there's a spark of jealousy and insecurity in your heart, burning it to ashes.

"He probably think of her as a friend."

"Of course he needs to be with her, their co worker"

"Experimenting is very dangerous, he will need her by his side at all time"

"He's doing this for the sake of his career"

You tried and tried to calm yourself, denying all your intrusive thoughts. But, you're still just a human.

Well, fast forwards to 3 months later, you finally started to accepted the fact that Albedo will never love you and that made your mood gloomy. Lucky that there's Klee.

She begged you to go for a walk around Mondstat with her. Despite her sick body, Klee is still the same Klee. Who could say no to a cute blooming smile like that?

Klee's sound of laughter and cheery smile lights up the day, washing away your pain bit by bit. But as always, the joy doesn't last long.

"RUN KLEE! LET ME HANDLE THIS!"

You shouted with all your might as a group hilichurls approaches you. You can't risk Klee using her vision because of her currently weak physique due to her illness. Her body won't be able to handle it. So you take matter into your own hand.

Klee ran, as fast as she can to seek for help despite tears flooding hard down her cheeks. "Trust your big sister."

You launch yourself at the group and try your best to slow them down. The quantity was unnatural, it was suspicious. You brushed your thoughts away and focus on slowing them down despite being weak.

Right. You're weak. You don't have any vision nor any sense of combat to fight those monster. What were you thinking?! You must be stupid. But you rather be stupid and die, than having them hurts your little sister. You are her big sister, her mother, her bestfriend, her guardian. And she is your everything.

This is your time. To protect Klee. To complete Albedo's task. To free yourself.

By the time the knights arrive, it was already too late. You were nowhere to be seen. There was only your bloodied shirt with a ring covered in blood, sparkling under the sun of Teyvat even with it's terrible state.

It's your wedding ring.

Klee was crying hysterically and the knights tried their best to calm her down. Like it or not, she had to accept it. You're gone.

Albedo's was notified of this later on, but he has no emotion. Monotone. Heartless.

A loud annoying laugh bursts from the man, it went on for long to the point that the ginger had to cover his beautiful&hard abs stomach and tears starts to prick out of the corner his eyes.

"Why are you laughing?! What's so funny huh?!" Your face turns red from anger and embarrassment. You can just imagine fumes coming out of your ears like it's always described in books you read before.

You took a peek from under the cover and just stared at the glass. The ginger just sigh with your behaviour. "You do you, girlie. Don't search for me when you want something."

"Hahah- Calm down stranger! I saved you from dying in a river you know! You were so injured you might've died if I didn't saw you earlier! You should've thank me. Plus, you're not naked. They're still bandages on your body, unless you want me to remove th-"

"STOP" You yelled, face covered in the red of embarrassment. You hide your face in the sheets, in an attempt to save yourself. He just chuckles, walking away from the bed to grab something and putting it on a small table near the bed. "Here, drink this. You must be thirsty."

You reach out for the glass and drink the cold refreshing water slowly considering he saved you. "So, may I know your name sir?"

He looked as if he was expecting the question. I mean what's more important than knowing you saviour's name?

"Ah! Glad you asked. I'm Childe, also go by Tartaglia. It's yours to decide which is what you desires to call me. Pleasure to meet you." His self introducing is quite flowery, I guess.

"I'll just call you Childe" Since he acts like a child *eyes roll emoji*

"Alright! Childe it is. And may I have the honour of knowing your name?" He requested with a cheeky smile decorating his face. Right, talking about his face, you must admit he is quite handsome. His beautiful blue eyes, locking eyes to eyes with you. His masculine and exquisite face shape makes his handsomeness pops out. His smile is cheeky and annoying, yet charming. Oh, his physique is good too.

"Ehem- Stranger? Are you done staring now? Are you a pervert?" His words snapped you back to earth. Realizing that you, a stranger to him, are fucking staring and scanning his whole body is so unacceptable. You're embarrassing yourself a lot today.

"Oh! R-right! My name is [name]. Sorry for my rude behaviour."

"Haha! Don't be, [ name ]! I can't blame you for being attracted to my charming self." You' re too annoyed to tolerate him. Not today. "Where is this? What happened? Why did you save me?"

Questions upon questions fired from your mouth.

"Woah there stranger! Calm down now, would you? Well first of all, we're in Liyue. Second of all, I don't know how you were injured and ended up floating on the river. And to answer your last question, I rescued you simply because I thought you look pretty. I wouldn't have the heart to leave such a pretty lady all injured." He answer, with a quite honest expression. You believed him as he is you saviour, but that last answer really is unnecessary.

"I don't remember how I got injured. I only remembered running somewhere and falling into a river. Maybe I was being chased. I felt a really sharp pain in my abdomen and after that the world turns dark and I somehow ended up here." You explained to him.

"Huh, you must've lost your memories. But now worries [name]! I'll take care of you until you fully recover. It's dangerous to let you go unauthorized in your current state." He offers, looking happy to help. You were reluctant at first, but considering he was kind enough to help you, you decided to stay with him. After all, if he ever dare to do something bad or inappropriate, you'll just kick him in the crotch. No biggie.

"Why are you so nice to me, Childe?"

" I already told you so, you're pretty. I wouldn't let such a pretty woman miserable. I'm a gentleman" You just smile at his words. Hoping that you will recover soon so you can pay this ginger back.

"Eh, btw Childe, where's my clothes? I don't want to stay here only covered by bandages." You want to get your clothes back as quickly as possible. Being naked here with him feels dangerous. For you, atleast.

"Oh about that, I found you topless at the river. I didn't look of course. As I say, I'm a gentlemen. But I did took a peek and whew, you're quite sexy in my eyes." He blurted out in honesty. Too honest. His comment made you flustered as fuck and immediately hide yourself under the cover again.

"CHILDE! THAT IS THE OPPOSITE OF GENTLEMAN!!!"

Childe's laugh decorates the atmosphere. In Childe's heart, he wonder who are you to be able to make him genuinely happy. And on that first encounter between [name] and Childe, he finally feels real joy after a long long time of being lost in emptiness.

WHERE TO BEGIN? OH MY GAWD, ASHIESUAHEAS. My lovely physicist… How could I not love him? He is the love of my life! He is shy, a contrarian, socially awkward, and adorkable.

He says he doesn’t need anyone and he just wants to be alone, but I think he is the most touch and love starved out of everyone in this mansion. He has spent his whole life being alone. It’s more a thing he’s used to than what he really wants (and I think that’s one of the reasons why Arthur can’t leave him be and keeps teasing him; he can read Isaac like a book). And it’s so beautiful to see him realize that!

He has the purest reactions sometimes. And his side stories really add to the whole thing, like when they go to town together after MC takes care of him, and he:

ADORABLE! RIGHT? RIGHT? UGH! I WANNA BITE HIS CHEEKS!

He could barely look MC in the eye in the prologue, and look where he ended up! He grew so much during his route. I think it has the right amount of drama and sad background.

When he finally falls in love, he is so bewildered by the idea. He still has a hard time expressing himself with words (and he says so in his last birthday), but it’s endearing how he tries his best.

And besides being smart, nice, gentle, adorable, cute, kind, caring, protective, and a little jealous (but also never stopping MC from doing anything she wants!)... He is pleasant to look at. I mean, I LOVE HIS EYES! He has the prettiest eyes, in my opinion. Sometimes while playing, he appears on the screen, and I just stop and stare into his eyes for a whole minute...

I love his soft voice and how he stutters sometimes.

I love him.

Mozart

I like a good tsundere, and Mozart is one for half of his route. Half because when it’s time for romance and he accepts his feelings, he becomes really forward about it. He says what he wants and what he likes, and he encourages MC to do the same: speak her mind, don’t be afraid to express what she likes, and don’t be ashamed if she's feeling aroused (this might sound funny, but it’s really important).

He pretends he doesn’t care, but he is always taking care of MC. He tries to feign annoyance, but then you look and he is blushing! HIASUEHAS. He is adorable!

When he finally falls in love and he realizes… God, I think Mozart literally running away to not bite MC is one of the best reactions. And then he comes back to play for her the song he composed because of her… LIKE?? It’s obvious you’re also a little contrarian and you actually want to be with her, Mozart!!!! PLEASE! ASIUEHASIEA.

He pretends to be nonchalant and not care, but we know he does! In Jean’s route, you can see how much he cares about the ones he loves because he can’t stand the idea of MC thinking poorly of his bestie. He doesn’t do it the best way, but… Let’s consider the intention and not the action, ASIUEHSAIEHAS.

He is caring, kind, and adorable. And also overprotective, possessive, and very jealous. He is one step closer to being yandere sometimes… But he does it in a cute way (Does it make sense?), and it makes it funny and kind of endearing.

I love his voice! Like omg, it’s so good! I love hearing him giggle.

Bonuses: His reaction to eating chocolate for the first time is so cute! And in one event, he is commanding MC to do things (it’s the one where he commands her to lick blanc from his beautiful fingers), and he says her blood is something he could never command her to give to him. Talk about boundaries and consent!

Arthur

He is so much more than he lets on! I’m playing his route for the 3rd time now, to get his side stories and try to get some premiums.

His facade falls fast when he blushes and gets all insecure when he has to apologize for biting her. It’s also nice how he stated he had reasons he now knew were wrong. If you count being wrong as losing, it means so much! This man hates losing, and he’s proud of his deduction skills, so… to admit he was wrong? Wow!

Also, very, very kind! I mean, all of them are, but I’ll repeat it HIUASHESAU. His story is well-written, I guess it helps too.

I love that he can be forward, but also gets a little flustered and desperate when he thinks MC is going home, HAISUEHSA. I LOVE THAT WHOLE SCENE!

Ieyasu

He has a huge and soft spot in my heart because he is my very first otome husband. I actually started playing Masamune, my phone was robbed, and then I started playing again and picked Ieyasu. And we’ve been married since then (:

My little porcupine is adorable. The reason I love a good tsundere is because he is one.

But contrary to Mozart, he expresses himself more through actions than words, although I think he tries to learn to do it with words (kinda like Isaac sometimes).

He is the youngest, and although they don’t say anything about it (that I remember), I think MC is his first relationship. He cares so much about her (and everyone else, even Mitsunari), and takes care of her while pretending it’s nothing. And when he listens to Hideyoshi and gives her the earrings as a reward… He really didn’t want to risk her disliking him! And it’s so precious to me.

He is kind, sweet, smart, and really strong. He just doesn’t realize it. I love how he grows with and because of her. His main route is almost slow (I haven’t read his sequel yet) compared to the new warlords and all the drama they can have, but I think it’s just as beautiful.

Also, I love how he helps MC to grow too. He teaches her how to shoot arrows, and I love how his MC just goes to battle to help him in the Eternal Ending.

Mitsuhide

I love all the sadness and drama. I love that he falls first and harder.

He is such a mystery! I never really hated him, but I was curious about why he acted the way he does. So I guess this curiosity already drew me to him. And when they released his route, GOD IT IS SO GOOD.

One of the best-written routes (in my opinion), because when you read it for the second time with his povs, you see everything in a different light. I love how we come to see he’s just been showing his true feelings the whole route.

He loves his MC so much, it’s painful. He cares so much about her. And I’ll state it: he is the most romantic suitor ever. EVER. He spent the whole route being romantic, even if we didn’t know about it. And when they get together, it’s so good. He is really forward about his feelings, he isn’t afraid to say or show how much he loves her, and he encourages her to do the same. I can’t say enough how much I love Mitsuhide for opening his heart and not being ashamed about it.

He is also so smitten it makes him look cute. When they’re at the festival and MC says she cares about him, and he starts walking a little clumsily, ASUIEHASIUE. IT’S ADORABLE! Like she can break his character so easily, it’s lovely.

He lies, he deceives, he betrays… but then he goes to her window to give the fucking bellflower pin. GOD, it hurts so good just thinking about it.

And he looks smoking hot with the red eyeliner.

Kanetsugu

Friends said I’d love him, and GOD HOW I DID. I think I fell faster and harder than Mitsuhide, ASIEHASUIEHSA.

His fangs played a huge part, I’m not gonna lie. I love some fangies! But the way he treats his MC is what got me real hard. The way he always offers his hand and waits for her to accept it, how he doesn’t do anything without her consent.

He needs lots of hugs and therapy. And I love how he grows in his route! He and MC help each other so much to fight their inner demons (or wolf, in his case hehe), it’s really nice. The whole time he thinks he doesn’t deserve to be happy, when he smiles, when he blushes… it’s all so adorable and beautiful! I think it’s impossible not to love him!

He is loving, caring, kind, and pretty forward. I love how he just says “I’m in love with you” like he’s in a business meeting, AHUIEHASUIEHAS.

I love a character who is all stoic but gets emotional about their love. And I love how they show this little detail in his sprites, how his eyes lose their light when he goes berserk about her.

Plus he bites and I like it. Gotta count that too.

Luka

We can bond over baking and cooking!

I love that he thinks he’s another lonely wolf who doesn’t really want to be alone, but finds out it’s the opposite along his route.

I love that he is shy and runs from MC. I love his blushing face, his beautiful eyes, his dyed hair, and his natural one. He looks so pretty with his natural silver hair!

I love how he and Isaac can be similar, and I think that's what attracts me to him the most.

Jonah

Alright. Jonah used to be 2nd and Luka 1st, but now I’m playing his route again… And I think I might change it (OMG).

He sounds arrogant and selfish, but he is just really proud of himself. And it’s not a bad thing!

Also a tsundere with the “silver hair and beauty mark”. He and Mozart are very similar, in my opinion, and I guess it adds to my love for him, AHSUIEHAS.

Plus, he is hot, and his voice is so good. When he kind of whispers, it gives me goosebumps.

Ellis

I haven’t played Ikemen Villains yet, but I’ve read some translations. And this man already has my heart.

He is so sweet and cares so much about MC. He sounds almost innocent and clueless sometimes, which is cute.

I loved the event where he got the handcuffs and gave MC the keys. It spoke volumes to me!

I’ll find out more about him when I read his route translations and when they release the EN server so I can play it.

His voice already has me in a chokehold. It’s soft and so, so good. UGH!

Levi

I did a whole post appreciating how smart he is, and it counts a lot here.

He is annoying in the beginning? Yes. I’d probably fight him, ASUIHESUIAHE. But then I can’t help it! I love a shy, awkward, otaku, and gamer guy! And Levi is the whole combo.

He is so sweet! I still haven’t gotten over that event where he programs a whole game to propose to MC. Like, look at the extent of his love!

He is another favorite who has a hard time saying it, but he shows it! He can get bold when he needs to, and he blushes furiously in the most loving way. I love when he goes “WOOAAH”, it’s so dumb and lovely.

I love his stupid hair, his eyes, and how his nail polish always changes from teal to purple.

I love his demon form and I won’t elaborate that to keep it sfw.

Simeon

He is so dumb. He is a grandpa. He says the most random things with a smile. He’s hot when angry. 

He is so precious! I love his eyes, like… most beautiful eyes for Obey Me, I guess. It’s a tie with Levi. I called him dumb, but he’s actually pretty smart.

He cares very much about MC. He talks about his feelings like he’s discussing the weather sometimes, but other times he blushes. And it gets to me every time.

He’s silly, kind, caring, loving, gentle, and a little bit jealous. He’s just discreet about his possessiveness; you gotta read between the lines sometimes.

The feelings I have for his voice. It’s not even a crush, it’s like falling off a cliff.

Satan

I’m not sure about this one? HASIUEHSAIU. LIKE. I love that he is smart and goofy at the same time. He isn’t on the “must protect” team, but he is one of my favorites.

I love how he blushes when he needs to talk about his feelings or when MC kisses him, HAIUSHESAIU. SO SILLY!

Alright, these are favorites, but more like… They’re adorable, and I have a strong urge to hug and protect them from the world. I’d give my life to make sure they could smile because they’re so innocent, clueless, cute, and adorable. They’re angels!

Jean: my favorite thing is how he says “marorons” and when he writes his name IN HUGE LETTERS in his notebook because “the bigger you write it, the easier to know who it belongs to”

Shakespeare: recently added here. He is so sweet! And he is very forward with his feelings when they finally get together. It’s… wow, very wow.

This by far was the absolute worst summer you have ever had. 3 long grueling months spent with your grandparents in Nevada. You hated the dry heat. It was almost unbearable. But what you truly hated was being away from your best friend. You hadn't spent this much time apart since Eddie went to camp back in 7th grade. Where he inevitably got kicked out and was no longer able to return. In return made you happy because he got to spend summers with yours truly.

3 months of letter writing and phone calls weren't enough for you. You had to see him, hug him, sniff his cologne when he wasn't paying attention. You had love Eddie since your pretend wedding at the old oak tree you guys use to play at when you were 6 years old. Eddie had given you his mom's old ring that he taken before he went to live with his uncle. And you gave him a mood ring that you got from a cracker jack box. Your ring never did fit correctly so you had put it on a chain, still wearing it til this day. Eddie still had his ring too. Well kinda. He had broken the plastic band on it so he took the mood gem and glued it to a band that was a little more him. He wore it all the time. Even now as your senior year was about to start Eddie's 2nd time around. He wore it. Eddie was a year ahead of you but now you guys got to do senior year together. But this year was gonna be different. You were gonna finally tell Eddie how you feel. How you always felt. And if him still wearing that ring means something, you were gonna be going into senior year with a boyfriend.

Outside the Munson's trailer you were so giddy with anticipation. It was early, Eddie probably wasn't up yet. But you didn't care if you woke him. You need his hugs. You walked up to the door and before you knocked you heard Eddies guitar. It was coming from the living room. Your heart jumped. He was awake. You eagerly knocked. But your face fell when Eddie wasn't the one who answered the door.

"Hey y/n. How's it going?" Samantha greeted you with a smile.

She looked so different with out all that intense eye makeup she wore to parties. You didn't know her and Eddie were hanging out. He never mentioned her in his letters or phone calls.

"Uhhh hey" you faked a smile. "Is uhh Eddie-"

" There she is!" Eddie yelled from his couch.

You gave him a half smile as you watched him put down his 'one true love' his words. And came to the door. But instead of hugging you. He put his arm around Samantha's shoulder.

" Hey Munson. Uhhh I just wanted to come by and say I'm home." You smiled at both of them not wanting to give yourself away.

"Cool Samantha was just about to leave for work. So we can hang out for a bit before she gets off."

You nodded not sure in what else to do. You looked down to the ground when they kissed each other goodbye.

" I love you" Samantha said giving one last kiss before she left.

" Love you too babe."

What the hell happened this summer? Fuck.

Eddie and you hung out for about an hour. Before everything became to much for you to bear. He explained how he and Samantha Stone hooked up at the Hideout one night and they had been inseparable since. His eyes twinkled when he said her name. He was head over heels for her. That made your heart sink. You thought that maybe you missed your chance with him. But maybe you didn't have a chance at all. Samantha was pretty, thin, and blonde. Everything you were not. You never really had a problem with your weight. It just stung sometimes when the jocks or the cheerleaders would make fun of you. But it was whatever. You were used to it. However you were not use to sharing your best friend to another girl. And though your jealousy was eating at you, you decide as long as Eddie was happy. You had to be happy for him. You left the Munson's still not getting the hugs you waited so long for.

First day of school was always the worst. Halls filled with freshman laughing away. Being so damn loud. Stupid kids blocking your locker. Dumbass blondes stealing you guy right from under you.

Ok ok Samantha wasn't dumb to be fair. And she didn't quite steal Eddie away from you. But still that bitch.

You were gonna sit next to Eddie in your homeroom class. But the desk next to him was occupied by none other than the harlot Samantha. They were kiss on each other and that made you nauseous. But you turned your frown upside down when Eddie waved at you. You found a seat just a few rows ahead of the disgusting couple.

You looked up from your text book when the door opened. In came the principal followed by a frizzy blonde hair kid. He look super rough around the edges. He was wearing a denim choker, and a denim vest. He had a white shirt with the sleeves cut off. He wore a brown leather strap on one wrist and a chunky watch on the other holding onto a single notebook.

The principal introduced him to the class.

" Alright kids settle down. This is Vance Hopper. Hopper? Are you related to chief Hopper?"

" uh yeah his my uncle."

" Oh ok well then find a seat."

Vance scanned the class room and found an open seat next to you.

You returned your eyes to your text book. He was cute you thought. Definitely seems like you had a type. Just a few minutes after the tardy bell rang you felt a tap on your shoulder. Vance was looking at you.

" Hey uhh do you have a pencil I can borrow?" You smiled at him while handing him yours. You reached down into your pack stealing a glance at Eddie. They had pushed their desks together. Eddie was whispering sweet nothings into Samantha's ear.

Ugh gross

You pulled out another pencil and continued to work until class was over. You walked behind Eddie and Samantha. Watching them holding hands. You felt tears coming but someone tugged your arm. You turned to piercing blue eyes.

" Uhh I forgot to give you back your pencil."

" Oh no that's ok. You can keep it."

He smiled. " I'm Vance"

"Hi. I'm y/n." You offered up a smile.

" Uhh do you know where I can find this class?" Vance pointed at he scheduled putting the pencil behind his ear and moved closer to you.

You looked down at the sheet. The warmth radiating off his body made you shudder for a second. "Oh yeah I have him too. Ummm just follow me"

You guys walked to the next class. You studied his schedule seeing you had about half of the same classes as him. Making small talk you guys went to class. He sat next to you in all the classes. You quickly became friends. But you noticed how really rough he was. He was someone who definitely didn't shy away from a fight. And he cursed...a lot. guessing he's nothing like Eddie. That was a good thing you thought.

You started hanging out after school and on weekends. There would be times where Eddie would call to hang out, but you always had plans with Vance. It wasn't until one day did things went a step further.

You were at lunch and Vance was walking with you to an empty table. As you passed the hellfire table you saw Eddie watching you two. You gave him a wave and he gave you a small smirk.

When you sat down to eat Vance put his hand on the lower part of your back. You were in shock. A sudden fit of insecurity race to your mind. You face became flushed and your heart was racing. You were suddenly ashamed of your back rolls. But to your surprise Vance was making small circles with his thumb pressing a bit harder into your clothed skin. But a voice brought your focus somewhere else. You looked up and saw Jason Carver and some of his buddies making their way to the table.

" I see you have a habit making nice with the freaks" Jason sneered

" What did you say you dumb shit?" Vance tried to get up but you pulled him back down.

"Oh what. Your really know how to pick them huh thunder thighs. It's nice to know you can get around." Jason said giving you a wink.

" alright today's the day mother fucker" Vance was so quick you didn't even get the chance to stop him. You watched in horror as he took on Jason and all 3 of his buddies. He was totally kicking their ass. This making you feel some type of way. A way you haven't felt for anyone but Eddie.

For a guy of Vance stature he was really fucking strong. He picked Jason up off his feet.

" Come here you bitch! Don't you fuck with her again. Or I'll end your pathetic little life"

The jocks ran off and Vance stood there heaving. You got up and and checked his hands.

" Let's get out of here." He said

You agreed and let Vance pull you out of the cafeteria. Once outside you took the lead. Taking him to the picnic table Eddie usually used to make deals. After a few awkward seconds. You spoke.

" Jesus man that was narly."

" No one is gonna speak to my girl that way!"

His girl? When did that happen? Did you actually mind that sudden relationship change?

" That's cool right? I mean if you want to be." Vance had lost a bit of confidence.

You met his gaze. " umm yeah no it's uhh cool"

He made his way to you and pulled you in for a kiss. Grabbing your ass. You wrapped your fingers in his messy curls as the kiss became heated. He pulled you close so that you could feel his growing erection. But the sounds of twigs breaking pulled you two apart. You looked up and saw Eddie standing there looking like a dear in head lights.

You pulled out of Vance's embrace.

" Uh hey bud" you said nervously

" Shit sorry didn't mean to interrupt. I uhhh just want to see if you were ok?"

" She's fine" Vance spoke for you.

Eddie nodded and turned to leave.

A few weeks went by and you and Vance had started seeing each other. Constantly hooking up. He was very forward when it came to sex. It was a nice change of pace for you. He was wild. You couldn't get enough of him. You barely noticed that you hadn't been speaking to Eddie. Though you missed him. Vance made you forget how much.

Vance seemed to be getting into a lot of trouble at school. Constant yelling and fighting became the norm for you. But one day did he really screw things up. He was fighting and accidentally hit a teacher. Causing him to get suspended for 2 weeks. You guys got into a heated argument about it. Which eventually lead to some of the best sex you've had.

The next day you were looking for somewhere to eat at lunch when Eddie waved you over. Samantha wasn't sitting in the spot you sat in before Eddie started to date her. It was weird to say the least. She must be sick or something.

As if no one else was at the table Eddie was chatting away. It wasn't until he mention Vance did you feel like a complete ass. You never properly introduced them. But honestly how could you. Eddie was always around Samantha. And well you and Vance were busy with... Stuff.

Eddie's question made you move your eyes to his. Oh God how you missed him looking at you. Fuck he was so beautiful. Shit no no you have a boyfriend. You returned your eyes back to your tray.

" A bit?! Jesus H Christ y/n. He literally took out half the basketball team." Eddie paused when you didn't look at him. " Hey he didn't or he doesn't lose it on you does he?"

" Only where it counts" shit...fuck. why did you say that. Ugh now Eddies gonna think you're some type of sadist.

Well more like a submissive. Vance was definitely a dominant. Which it wasn't until this moment did you realize that though it felt good. It never felt nice. Like being cared for.

Eddie didn't say anything to your comment. But he definitely wanted to. He wanted to say that that guy wasn't good enough for you. You needed someone to show you they loved you. Not get into random frivolous fights over meaningless things. To not be so rough with you all the time. To smother you with kisses whenever they got the chance. To show you how much they loved you every second of every day. You were beautiful. You've always been beautiful. Eddie wanted you when he was finally old enough to understand the wanting he had for you was love. He wanted to tell you but he was afraid that it would ruin your friendship. He was scared that you wouldn't feel the same. And his thoughts were confirmed when you acted all nonchalantly when you saw Samantha. You didn't like him back. And what finally broke Eddies heart was when he saw you two kissing in the woods. He was first angry that Vance was touching you but the sudden thought of Samantha made him change his feelings.

She was supposed to be just a hook up. Eddie had missed you so much that he was drinking a lot to fill the hole in his heart that developed when you left for the summer. He was really hoping you would ask him to come with but he knew that was impossible.

So he hooked up with Samantha. But she never left. He had gotten use to her warm body next to him every night. Most of the time wishing it was you he was spooning. You who he was kissing. But he felt bad. He shouldn't be doing that to Samantha. She was a nice girl who deserved someone to actually give her their full attention. So Eddie did that. He shoved his love for you away so that he could give him and Samantha a chance.

But then you came back. And all his feelings returned the moment he saw you. But Samantha was there. So he couldn't. He wanted to hug you so bad. But he just couldn't. He wouldn't hurt Samantha that way. Then she left and said she loved him. Sure they said it before. But you were there, looking as beautiful as the day you two met. Eddie shook off the his feelings and said he loved her too. He immediately regret it. Yes it was wrong of him to say it if he didn't actually mean it. But what could he do. He should have broken up with her and confessed his love for you, but he was a coward. That would be the day he would regret for the rest of his life.

The remainder of lunch was filled with awkward glances and silence between you two. Eddie had decided that if you were happy, he would force himself to be happy for you. But he voiced how he missed you. And made plans for you to come over and watch a movie, like old times.

You were apprehensive about it at first. But you agreed. You missed him very much. And a night alone would be a perfect reminder of how deep your friendship went. But unbeknownst to you things were gonna change that night. You were gonna be forced in making a decision you didn't think you would ever have to make.

The possibility of them being together and stopping all that is to come just hurts soo much. They literally had one dance scene together and I ran with it.

Guys look how she’s smiling and jumping around my gawd have mercy. She just looks soo happy for once. I don’t know, after her little toast and how sad she’s been through out the season, this little act of kindness was soo sweet. Jacaerys really is a gentleman even if it was just a jab at Aegon.

        “W-Whoa…” Hinata says while standing in front of Nishinoya.

        “What’s wrong Hinata?” Suga asks. ‘Oh boy. I think I know where this is going.’ You think.

        “Holy crap!! He’s shorter than me?!” ‘Knew it…’

        “Say wha?! Hey, you! C’mere and say that again!!” Nishinoya yells.

        “Easy,” Tanaka says calmly, putting a hand on Nishinoya’s shoulder.

        “I’m sorry! I’m sorry!” Hinata apologizes. “But um…”

        “What?!” Nishinoya yells.

        “Is it okay to ask…how tall are you?”

        “I’m 5’3”!!”

        ‘He’s shorter than me!’ You and Hinata think.

        “W-Whoa…” Hinata says with stars surrounding him.

        “Huh? W-What…” Nishinoya says.

        “This is the first time since I joined this team that I got to look down on someone.” Hinata explains while crying tears of joy. You facepalm at this.

        “Stop crying stupid tears of dumb happiness!! It’s not by that much!!!” You hear someone walking toward you so you turn around to see Kiyoko. You walk up to her.

        “Hey, Kiyoko.” You greet her with a smile.

        “Hello (Y/N).”

        “Heading to the gym?”

        “Yea.”

        “Oh, well, be careful, they are pretty rowdy right now.”

        “Thank you for letting me know.”

        “No problem.”

        You both walk up to the door and let Kiyoko go first to be polite. She has one foot in the gym before you both hear someone yell.

        “KI! YO! KO! SAAAN!! I came to visit you!” By now she’s entirely in the gym. When you see her get into a surprised stance you peek around her to see why. You’re shocked when you see Nishinoya flying toward the two of you. His eyes widen when he sees you. Before you can even react, Kiyoko slaps him and he’s lying face-first on the gym floor.

        “Come on (Y/N).” She says as she gently pulls you away. As she does you look back at the boy only to see him staring at you. You smile at him before looking ahead again.

        “Ryu…” Nishinoya starts.

        “Yeah?” Tanaka responds

        “Who is she?”

        “Ah! That’s (Y/N)! She’s our new first-year manager! Isn’t she an angel?!”

        “YEAH, SHE IS!”

        “So! Where’s Asahi? He’s back right?!” Nishinoya asks after getting up off the floor. You, Hinata, and Kageyama stand next to each other looking confused and wondering who Asahi is. You look to Daichi and Suga for answers only to see they have their heads hung with sad faces.

        “...”

        “...No.” Daichi finally answers.

        “That spineless wuss…!!” Nishinoya exclaims angrily.

        “Noya! Don’t talk about our Ace that way!” Tanaka reprimands.

        “Shut up! Ace or no, a wuss is still a wuss!!”

        ‘So this Ashai is our ace…” You think.

        “Gawd, Noya, c’mon! Wait!”

        “I already told you guys! If Asahi-san doesn’t come back, I’m not coming back either!” Nishinoya exclaims as he walks out of the gym, slamming the doors behind him. As Kageyama asks Tanaka a question you notice Hinata leaving the gym so you follow him.

        “Please teach me that receive!!” Hinata yells as he runs after Nishinoya with you behind him. “Nishiya-san, you’re a libero, right?! The defensive specialist position…”

        “My name’s Nishinoya. And why do you think I’m a libero? Is it ‘cause I’m short?”

        “Huh? No. It’s because you’re good at receiving serves.”

        “He’s right.” You say causing the two to jump. “The libero position isn’t played by someone just because they’re short…”

        “They get to play it because they’re good at defense. Right?” Hinata interrupts, earning an annoyed but proud look from you.

        “...”

        “Um…Right, sir?”

        “So you guys do get it.” Nishinoya finally responds.

        “Oh! And the captain called you Karasuno’s Guardian Deity!” Hinata proudly announces. Nishinoya becomes flustered and starts fidgeting and stuttering. ‘Cute.’ You think as you smile.

        “Um…did he say that?” Nishinoya asks.

        “Yep!” Hinata replies as you nod your head. The libero becomes flustered again and begins mumbling to himself. Hinata starts to say something but you stop him by whispering to him.

        “Hinata. You’re about to ask him for help, right?” He nods. “Don’t forget to call him ‘senpai’.”

        “Right.” He says before turning his attention back to the libero. “I still really suck at digs and bumps and stuff. Those are some of the most important skills in the whole game. So…please teach me how to do it right…Nishinoya-senpai!!” The libero leans back in shock as if he just got pushed. 

        “You…after practice…I’m going to buy you a Gori Gori Ice Pop.” Nishinoya says with a blush on his cheeks.

        “Huh?”

        “After all, I…am your senpai!!”

        “!!”

        “I’m still not coming back to the team though! I’m just gonna teach you the basics. That’s all!”

        “Thank you!”

        As the three of you approach the gym Hinata runs ahead, Nishinoya goes to follow him but stops at the sound of your voice. 

        “Thank you.” You say causing the boys to look at you.

        “Huh?”

        “Thank you for agreeing to help Hinata. I don’t know what the situation is with Asahi, but I appreciate that you’re willing to help Hinata. I know you don’t know me much, or even at all, but I love this team and want to see them succeed and grow stronger. So, thank you so much Noya-senpai!!” You finish with a bow. Noticing that he isn’t saying anything, you stand up straight only to see his face is beet red and he’s frozen. 

        “Um…are you okay, Noya-senpai…?” The said boy falls to his knees but before you can check on him you hear your name being called from inside the gym.

        “Coming!” You respond. You look at the boy hesitating before walking into the gym. You stop to say something to Nishinoya. “I’ll do everything I can to help the situation involving Asahi.” You continue into the gym, leaving Nishinoya still on his knees.

        “She…called…me…senpai…” He whispers to himself. “SHE CALLED ME SENPAI!!” He celebrates before calming down as he remembers what else you said. “I wonder what she meant by that…”

-In The Gym-

        As the boys are practicing you’re helping Kiyoko until you get distracted watching them. Kiyoko notices and walks toward you.

        “Are you okay, (Y/N)?” She asks.

        “Yea. They’re just a bunch of goofballs.” You explain with a chuckle and smile. “But something’s missing.”

Just read part 16 I LOVED IT !! I don't think you know what you've done to me. I was obsessed with Malec. As in I watched the show and read selective parts of the book just to get more of my OTP.

And then I, like an idiot, read TRUE LOVE NEVER DIES, which destroyed me and then put me back together. Every week I would dread seeing a chapter update but couldn't wait to read. But you know what else happened? For every Malec scene, I would be screaming 'where are my Mavid babies and Rosales power couple?!?!'.

Now, I just want so much more of those 4. But #IALS, sweet baby universe, the brain rot is real. My brain keeps concocting scenarios where things could be better. But also worse! What is wrong with me?!?!?

Like, what if, somehow Max has a relative out there who passes away and through DNA testing they find Max is the only family left of this little girl. Now Max can't have biological children but this little girl could be his sister or niece, I don't care!! I just want a baby girl for Max.

Now I'm thinking of how Malec would completely lose their minds and just move in with Max. How Max would probably hold back from adopting her because he's punishing himself and is afraid of hurting her, which just makes it so obvious that he's already totally gone for her. And maybe he recognizes that he can't punish himself when there is this little person who actually has no one but him, wants no one but him.

And then Max has a child to take care of 24/7 and he realizes he can't be in DC anymore. He needs his family and his baby girl should get to grow up as close to her big brothers as possible. So Max moves back to NY and transfers to the FBI HQ there (it exists, I googled it!).

So now there Max is with a daughter who only sees her brothers on the weekends and he sees how sad she is to not have them around. So Max asks for 50/50 custody.

And there's David, who doesn't get to be Papa to a baby girl with Max's smile and bright eyes. I feel like more than Max moving on, this might be what could break David.

Like what if because the little baby is basically like a mini Max, its hard to be around her. And this little girl would grow up thinking that weird blond is just not a nice man. Cause how could he be, since he hurts her daddy?

But David is just so obsessed with her that he can't help himself but want to know everything about her and be around her constantly.

And, oh my gawd, big-brother coded Arthur and can you imagine Lance who is already a menace having a little sister to do some menacing with?

Packing on pounds and pounds and pounds of foundation ages you drastically, especially after the age of 40. Also, stick to cream based make-up after the age of 40.

For the love of gawd, stop destroying your lips, you look so much like the joker now it is unsettling.

Dressing like a man in an attempt to clean up your skanky image that you created by playing 99% naked/trashy roles only makes you look shady and fake.

I can now deduce that Jensen's dream woman probably has rich hair and dark eyebrows and, judging by the pounds of make-up you cake on to seem like you have porcelain skin she's probably younger than you with a flawless complexion. She's probably also much more innocent than you judging by your attempt to cover up which goes against your established "brand" within the industry. Stop trying to be her, you can't live up to man's ideal if you are not the woman of his dreams.

Whoever she is, I hope Jensen never meets her because if he was capable of endorsing someone as heartless and trashy as you then she truly deserves someone better in life.

Also, stop being creepy, it's creepy when you kiss him because we can see he doesn't enjoy it. Have some self respect. Private moments are meant to be private, if you truly loved Jensen you would have no need to "w*ore him" in front of the crowd.

Cadmus is very ancient. 👀. Sleeping for two millennium. But even though Cadmus is soooo old, he still has the face of a "young boy". While I am on this topic. Where Cadmus mother comes from has a tradition. When a child reach ten years old, (toddler stage) a mask is suppose to be worn. It is not suppose to be taken off. Basically this mask, is merged as one with another person's face. The only way this mask can come off, is if it is taken off by one's bonded.

From ones perspective when they're looking at Cadmus/Atticus, they'll be greeted by the sight of a cold mask. While from the MC perspective they can see Cadmus and Atticus features clearly.

Example:
