My journey started in 2014 with the birth of my son. Over the years I've made food a priority and have been focused on helping others find joy in the kitchen! CrowMoonKitchen has been a labor of love and I've learned much about health, wellness, and myself. It's never too late to start! I've made many friendships in this community. A few months ago @keepingitawesomejake @the_new_heidi @mybizzykitchen and I had a 4 hour brunch. We had never met before but it was such a good experience that Heidi and I decided we needed to organize a meet-up. I mentioned this to @wlstories and Keith being Keith is making it EPIC! On November 9th there will be wlmeetup: Chicagoland! For details 👉 Click link in bio. . Meet @crowmoonkitchen I've struggled with obesity my whole adulthood. I used food as an emotional escape and at close to 400 pounds doctors were warning me I was eating myself to death. When my son was born I decided I needed to make a change. I wasn't able to be the dad I wanted to be. I logged my food with @loseitapp and lost nearly 200 pounds. I've kept it off for 2 years by staying active, eating consciously, and keeping a positive mindset. Starting tip: take each day at a time. This is a journey, and you'll make sustainable change by developing habits of health. ________________ How has the Wlstories community influenced your journey?
