My Favorite Kirk/Spock Fanvids on YouTube
Tumblr media
There are some fanvids that I rewatch a lot on YouTube, so I decided to make a list of Kirk/Spock fanvid recs for anyone interested!
Of course, this list is based on my personal preferences, so I should probably let you know that my favorite videos always have at least a little bit of Old Married Spirk. I just love them in TOS movies so much!
Anyway, I'll start with the least "famous" ones and end with the most popular, so I hope you'll find something you haven't seen before!
Bring me to life by thesadchicken. Based on The Search for Spock, you can imagine why. The song is probably an obvious choice but it's perfect. :) It's always good to see underrated scenes in K/S fanvids like Kirk fighting Klingons.
Landslide by RhaegalKS. The real OMS! Focused on The Undiscovered Country era mixed with flashbacks from the original series and the previous movies. Very nostalgic.
The Wrath of Khan (Slash Trailer) by EimeoMoon. Just amazing! The creator called it "slash trailer" because it's a fan trailer focused on Kirk and Spock's relationship, but seriously… where is the lie? :)
Kirk/Spock: A Love Story by EimeoMoon. If you want to be emotionally compromised, that's it, that's the right fanvid. No singing, just the music and the characters' voices telling Kirk/Spock story from the very start of TOS to Spock Prime (just a cameo, there aren't AOS characters). Also no Generations because what's Generations? :D Kirk and Spock had a happy life together and it makes me cry.
A Thousand Years by bellizaria. Another great fanvid for K/S fans who want to be emotionally compromised, this time with some AOS too. It shows Kirk/Spock relationship through the years and the universes (again, no Generations). The song gets stuck in my head every time I rewatch this video, so I end up thinking about Kirk/Spock a lot and I have feelings, okay? :(
HAPPY BONUS:
Rock N Roll by xxLornyTunesxx. This is not labeled as Kirk/Spock so I didn't put it on the K/S list, but I'm sure shippers can enjoy it anyway! It's a tribute to TOS movies, so obviously Kirk and Spock's relationship is there among the other things. I wanted to end on a happy note and this video is perfect for that. I don't know what it is that works for me, if it's the combo Avril Lavigne + Star Trek or something else, but this is my comfort fanvid. I rewatch it every time I want to cheer myself up, so I hope it'll work for you too!
Well, that's all. :) Thank you for reading my list! I'd love to know if there are fanvids here that you liked! Did you already know some of them? Did you find something good to watch? I'm curious! :D

soo.. gk characters at a karaoke bar. what would happen? the world needs to know.
The whole thing was Ray’s idea, because of course it was. He’s having the time of his life caterwauling various Avril Lavigne hits to a surprisingly receptive audience. Brad would not have agreed to come if he’d known in advance that this was a karaoke bar.
Brad immediately decides that - much as he would like to, since there’s not enough alcohol in the world to make this experience tolerable - he cannot risk getting drunk, lest he be persuaded into some kind of performance which he will undoubtedly regret the next day and which there may end up being documented photographic and/or video evidence of, knowing Lilley.
Nate is there too, and that’s another reason Brad absolutely does not need his judgement impaired right now. The temptation’s always there, and never more so when Nate’s in civvies and seemingly at ease, laughing good-naturedly at the antics of his platoon.
Still, no reason why Nate shouldn’t have a good time - god knows he needs it - so Brad offers to buy him a drink and suggests, “Take the night off for once, sir. I’ll keep an eye on the kids.” And Nate looks at him consideringly for a second and then smiles that absolute gut-punch of a smile and says, “Alright, Sergeant, I’ll take you up on that offer.”
Doc Bryan: “Can the adults in the room make the executive decision to move this party literally anywhere else?” (translation: I have too much self-respect to get into a fight at a karaoke bar). Poke meanwhile is having way too much fun watching these white boys make complete fools of themselves.
Rudy: “Do they have any Enya?”
Walt’s pretty shy, but after a few beers Ray manages to coax him onto the stage - and ends up kind of regretting it since his angelic voice and sweet country boy vibes instantly win the hearts of every girl in the place.
Q-tip and Christeson. They don’t even need a backing track, they have each other! You’d think that many shots would interfere with their beatboxing abilities, but they’ve had so much practise that it’s almost second nature at this point.
(Bizarrely, they also keep insisting the LT’s a really good singer, honest, we heard him a couple times in Iraq, he’s screwby yo. Brad’s not entirely sure he believes them, but the idea that they know something about Nate he doesn’t nearly causes him to crush a beer bottle in his bare hand.)
At the end of the night, with everyone else safely chaperoned out the door, Nate ruefully admits that he drove here since he hadn’t really intended on drinking all that much. Brad offers him a ride home before he can think better of it, which leads to Nate Fick in his passenger seat, loose-limbed and a little tipsy and perhaps the most relaxed Brad’s seen him, absent-mindedly singing along to a song on the radio as they pull up outside Nate’s house. And fuck if Q-tip and Christeson weren’t telling the truth: he can sing.
Brad’s staring. He knows he’s staring, he can’t help it, and when Nate catches him at it the singing trails off and he blushes, biting his lip in embarrassment. Jesus Christ, he’s so fucking beautiful it’s not even fair, and Brad’s damn near sober but all of a sudden it’s like he can’t police himself. Everything he’s been trying to hide must be showing on his face right now, he’s sure of it, and Nate’s staring at him with some kind of realisation dawning across his expression–
He blinks, and Nate is suddenly a lot closer, leaning over the centre console. A tentative hand is hovering at Brad’s cheek, and the indecipherable look in his eyes is something a lot like hope. “Tell me if this is okay,” he whispers, and Brad is pressing their mouths together in answer before he even finishes his sentence.

New Moon headcanon 2:
Every time Bella rejected Jacob or he felt she wasn't falling for him he went home and cried whilst playing his sadboi "didn't get the girl" playlist.
Said playlist goes as follows:
Girlfriend by Avril Lavigne
You Belong With Me by Taylor Swift
Teardrops On My Guitar by Taylor Swift
Creep by Radiohead
Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield
Misery Buisness by Paramore
Boyfriend by Dove Cameron (he sings aggressively loudly to the line 'I could be a better boyfriend than him' but he didn't really get the rest of it; all he knows is that he thinks he would be a better boyfriend)
Boyfriend by Justin Bieber (he is a Belieber, fight me)
Hold Me While You Wait by Lewis Capaldi

Feedback (scroll down only if you’ve read it):
• I love how there’s a backstory of Stella and how she at least tried to connect with Octavia and somewhat was more amicable with Stolas as an acting co-parent even though they don’t really love each other; but would do anything for their daughter
* But in my opinion, even though this was really about Octavia and Stella, it would’ve been nicer to have that moment with Stolas as well rather just making a small cameo here and there (I mean canonically he did majority of Octavia’s upbringing — hence why she’s her “daddy’s daughter” — up since Stella had no desire in comforting her at such a young age after having a nightmare as all kids want the comfort of their parents)
• I do feel like Stolas is as “ditzy” or “oblivious” as he had been portrayed as in this fanfic, then again this could either be take from Stella’s perspective and my biased opinion for the latter
I think, if it came to Octavia, he would’ve just as sceptical of his daughter and her double life, because let’s not forget he is a bookworm which means he would have a lot of intellect (okay, yes, he’s not as guarded as let’s say Blitz would be) but I would say their on the same page.
However, I will acknowledge that, in my opinion, that Stolas had SOME obliviousness about the belief that Blitz loves him too in episodes 1x1 - 1x06 (til the end of “Ozzie’s”)
But again he had come to the conclusion that this wasn’t the case after his failed “date” with Blitz after they were both humiliated by As(s)modeus and Fizzarolli (mainly)
• In my opinion, I felt surprised to read that Stolas got angry with Octavia for having a “normal life” and was being a little classist in the making when saying that she “couldn’t” be with someone who was lower of their “class” considering that’s actually what he had wanted for her canonically when he and Stella were arguing (in 2x01 “The Circus”)
* However I will acknowledge that this little detail had been covered when Octavia told her father that he was a hypocrite for doing the same thing with Blitz
Then again, in my opinion, I felt it was weird for me in my heart because I know Stolas would never pull a “Stella 2.0” he just not an elitist that way. he’s too compassionate to do that.
youtube
But other than that, with all my mixed emotions all over the place (in a good way), I can safely say, without shame, that this was the BEST fanfiction I’ve ever read. It was almost like something out of a movie I would’ve watched
I honestly don’t think there will be anything better in comparison to this. I may be a bit biased here but I’d say that this and “Turf Wars” (one of my own with help of a role playing partner) would be my all time favourites for sure!
Now for some positives:
Great work.
Great characters
Great storyline
Great atmosphere
Great taste in music
Great character goals
Definitely a 10/10 + a review from me and share this to your friends, family and followers! 🤩
(And definitely worth reading again!)

Just for fun, since I mentioned them in the tags of that other post, I'm gonna rank the musicals I got to see this year (mostly just as an excuse to gush about them all). Note that the scores will solely represent my personal taste and do not necessarily reflect the quality of the shows themselves.
This is gonna be a long post.
In chronological order for when I saw them:
Turnabout: An Ace Attorney Musical 9.5/10 A young lawyer fights a corrupt system to save his clients from death row, and also there are ghosts involved. This is a completely fan-made, full-length musical adaptation of the first entry in the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney series. A better adaptation of a video game than basically every game-based movie ever made, combined. The writers nailed it, the composers nailed it, the performers nailed it... It's one of my new favorites, and a must-watch for any fans of the games. It's funny and heartwarming but with real emotional depth at its most climactic moments. Also, spoiler alert: these lawyers are gay. Favorite song: "Alone"
SIX the Musical 6/10 (You see what I did there? lol) A conversation between the six wives of King Henry VIII as they determine which of them was done dirtiest by this dirtiest of men. (For those unaware, two of his wives were famously beheaded, two more were divorced, and even the one he supposedly loved died young.) This show is... more of a concert than a musical? The songs themselves are all bangers, if I'm honest, but the "story" is pretty cheesy and shallow--mostly just an excuse to give each of the wives a reason to sing their stories--hence the low score from me. Definitely worth giving a listen, though, if you're a fan of female pop singers, since each wife's song is in the style of a famous artist (Beyoncé, Avril Lavigne, Adele, Rihanna/Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande/Britney Spears, and Alicia Keyes, respectively). Favorite song: "Get Down"
Wicked 10/10 The now-classic prequel to the Wizard of Oz, telling the story of the Wicked Witch of the West before she became so feared. One of my perennial favorites, with extra bonus points for the tickets being my birthday present this year. Not the first time I've seen the show live, nor even the first time I've seen it at this particular theater, but it was a great performance nonetheless. Really made me think deeply about the themes of antifascism and apathy this time around. Favorite song: "For Good"
Beautiful: The Carol King Musical 6.5/10 A biography of singer and songwriter Carol King. The songs were all famous hits that she'd composed, written, and/or sung, and it was a fascinating look into the life and career of a woman I'd never even known the name of before. Also an educational look into the music industry of the 60s and 70s--she composed for a lot of famous black artists of the time! Biographies aren't my thing--and especially not ones with toxic relationships as large focal points--but it was much more fun and interesting than I expected. As it is, though, between it being a jukebox musical and a historical mid-20th-century piece, I can't personally rate it any higher. Great music, though, regardless. Favorite Song: "It Might As Well Rain Until September" (not the best SONG in the show by any stretch, but the most memorable story beat for sure! It's the song that she composed as a teen that got her her first big break)
Beauty and the Beast 7.5/10 The Disney classic. And one of my absolute favorites from Disney, which is why I maybe had too high of expectations for the live version, haha. I was personally a little let down by some of the effects--the puppeteering was good, but a little abstract sometimes. It was still just as fun and lovely as you'd expect a Disney show to be, but I remember coming away from it thinking that it was definitely aimed more at the kids in the audience. Worth it, but not among my favorites of the year. Favorite song: "Human Again" (a song so good I still can't believe it was cut from the movie!)
Chess 10/10 A sociopolitical drama about two chess grandmasters--one Soviet and one American--set against the backdrop of the Cold War. I'm obsessed. This musical has LAYERS--and I don't just mean within the musical motifs, although that is also true! The main character, despite his best efforts not to pick a side, becomes an unwilling pawn himself in all the political scheming. And alongside the competition and the international tension, there's a love story that becomes the emotional core of the play. It's tragic, heart-wrenching, and tense as all hell, but an absolutely underappreciated musical that I hope will get more widespread attention as a result of this performance at the Muny! (Oh yeah, and the music is a collab between Tim Rice [of Jesus Christ Superstar fame] and ABBA?? Basically it's the most 80s thing ever conceived.) Favorite song: "Where I Want to Be"
West Side Story 7/10 You know West Side Story. It's Romeo and Juliet but with a gang war in 1950s New York. This was the first time I'd ever actually seen it, and I'm glad I finally got around to it. Not really my thing, honestly--seen one Romeo and Juliet, seen 'em all, frankly--but even I can recognize the choreography was incredible. This show has a LOT of elaborate dancing by today's musical standards (also not my thing), and by far the best part of the show was the knife fight scene on the Muny's giant turntable floor. That part was so mindblowing that it bumps the overall score up a couple points on its own. Favorite song: "America"
Little Shop of Horrors 9/10 A poor, unlucky florist gains fame and fortune by befriending a bloodthirsty alien plant. Hilarious, a little dark, and with more depth and earnest emotion than most people probably expect from something so silly and camp. Possibly my single favorite musical, so, automatic win. This production gets a little bit of a demerit for the really odd design of Audrey II and the immersion-breaking puppetry that went along with it, but they earned most of it back when a 30-foot-tall Audrey II actually WALKED OUT FROM BEHIND THE BACKDROP and loomed over the performers while they sang the finale. It was terrifying and awesome and I was absolutely yelling and applauding. Favorite song: "Somewhere That's Green"
Rent 8/10 A year in the life of some artist friends living through the height of the AIDS epidemic. It's a beloved piece of queer history and rightfully so--the tragedies hit hard, and the celebration of love and life hits even harder. I'm personally kind of ambivalent about the show. I have my criticisms, but I recognize its cultural importance and I'm not fool enough to deny that a few of the songs are among the best from all of Broadway. (Yeah yeah, I know all of the words to "La Vie Bohème", alright? The music's amazing.) This production was kind of neat, too--definitely enjoyed it more than I did the movie! Favorite song: "La Vie Bohème"
Sister Act 8.5/10 A lounge singer witnesses a murder and is forced to become a nun at a nearby convent for witness protection. She's not very good at laying low, so hilarity ensues. I'd never seen the film it's based on, so I had NO idea what to expect from this show going in, but I actually kind of loved it. It was consistently hilarious, the characters were all extremely charming, and the emotional beats in the second half were lovely and heartfelt. I love that the ending not only has such a strong message of found family, but also that there is no pressure at all on the lead character to actually join the religion, even though she's welcome to visit the other nuns anytime. If anything, it's more of a story about appreciating their differences! Plus, the show's got a singing Pope. What more could you want? (...oh snap, and I forgot this is another Alan Menken musical. No wonder the songs are all so good!) Favorite song: "Bless Our Show"
Beetlejuice the Musical 7/10 A teenage girl, feeling alone and invisible after the loss of her mother, finds out that her new home is haunted by ghosts. She enlists their help in scaring her father's weird business partners, but one ghost is a little more, uh, wacky? insane? ...unhinged than the others. In my opinion, this musical was intended to be watched by fans of the movie, but either way it works alright. It's a little awkwardly structured at times thanks to Beetlejuice's constant Deadpool-style fourth wall breaking--I could do without so much of that, personally--but most of the songs are solid enough and it's still very funny, with the kind of perfectly cartoonish characters that only Tim Burton could have produced. Despite any shortfalls it might have, though, I have to give this one extra marks for genuinely bringing me to tears in its second act. I was not expecting it, but I'm dead serious. Yeah. There's really good storytelling about grief and healing in the "tally me banana" musical. I know. Favorite song: "No Reason"
HONORABLE MENTION because I didn't see this one as a live show or as a major online premiere or anything, but it WAS the first time I'd ever watched it (plus this rounds out the list to a nice dozen!):
Legally Blonde the Musical 9.5/10 After getting dumped, a woman gets into Harvard Law to show her ex that she's worthy of his love, only to realize that being a lawyer is more fulfilling anyway. This musical effing rules. It's even better than the movie it's based on, which was already good. It's SO funny from start to finish, every single song is catchy as hell, and it's empowering and feel-good and even a little cathartic at times. There's a song that includes a dog barking on cue, there's an Ace Attorney-style courtroom scene where the clue that breaks the case is how gay the witness is, and there's an actual love story in the back half that manages to be sweet and good despite all this chaos. I'm so sad that I missed out on seeing this one live at the Muny by a single year. :( Oh well, I'll catch it next time...! Favorite song: "So Much Better"
P.S. labeling all of those as my "favorite" songs is such a lie, lmao. My favorite song for some of these changes with the wind. I encourage anyone who's read this far to check out ALL of these musicals in their entirety, because even the ones that weren't my favorites were still really good and a blast to see!

Namjin
What if we screamed I love you, and kissed as the cameras flashed; Would you push me against your paintings, and make me your muse instead? Would love me hard and mark me deep to show the world that I belong? Or would you sing along to my made-up song, to fill this vacant space that's between us now? I know, I love you. And I hate that I can't stop. I need you beside me, but not when you touch. For I know I'll tumble out my secrets, even the ones that hurt. So let me look at you from afar, fight for you when you don't even know I'm there. My love, don't leave, be right here, next to me as I set it all to fire.
(Namjoon Seokjin dynamic is... "interesting"... for the lack of a better word. They are not as combustible as Jikook, or Taekook, or even as soft or subtle as Yoonmin. But, there is something there, under the skin, underrated, overlooked. And, I feel like what if one day that switch just flipped, what would happen, what would they do...)
'PS: Lover' is an all-time fave, TS is the Queen! But honestly, I had never before heard "Have We Met Before' by Sarah Barrios and Eric Nam. I died and ascended, it was sooo good, and literally perfect. An instant addition to my playlist!
I hope you have a wonderful day ahead and thank you for indulging me!!
Love when my poet shows up! This time you are giving me Dare To Love Me by Avril Lavigne vibes! I adore her new album btw which is what this is from
youtube
P.S. glad i could introduce you to a new song through this too with the last one! Keep them coming love!

Hello there how are you?
Uhm random question, you dont happen to still have your ladynoir fallout playlist and to be kind enough to share it or do you??? Asking for a friend : )
I don't have it as an actual spotify playlist, but I do have a list of the songs that I associate with that ladynoir era, which I am happy to share! Basically the playlist is half-canon/half-fanfic. It's like a season 4 AU where Ladybug and Chat Noir really did have a serious falling out that lasted a pretty long while. And while Chat did still help with akumas sometimes, he kept to his own mostly. Some of the songs only vaguely match up with it, but I'll put in little explanations for the songs here too so that you can know what I was thinking.
Waiting in the Wings from Tangled the Series [Chat singing this as he becomes more and more sidelined by Ladybug]
Drift Away cover by Caleb Hyles [Chat feeling like he and Ladybug are drifting apart]
Lovers’ Eyes by Mumford & Sons [Chat starting to be angry with Ladybug, but still loving her]
Waiting in the Wings (reprise) from Tangled the Series [Adrien about Gabriel]
Dead Mom from Beetlejuice [Adrien about Emilie]
Lost In the Woods from Frozen II [Chat Noir]
brutal by Olivia Rodrigo [Chat/Adrien as his anger at everything grows]
I Couldn’t Know Someone Less from Daddy Long Legs [Chat to Ladybug when she starts to be his “boss” (specifically the "why would you set me free only to imprison me?" line)]
Waving Through A Window from Dear Evan Hansen [Adrien feeling alone]
Head Above Water by Avril Lavigne [Chat feeling like no one cares]
Happier by Marshmello [Adrien thinking Ladybug will be happier without him]
To Build A Home by The Cinematic Orchestra[Chat before the fallout]
Life’s Too Short - Outtake from Frozen [Them fighting before the fallout]
Crossing the Line from Tangled the Series [Chat and Ladybug fall out]
I Won’t Hold You Back by Toto [Chat leaving]
Make It Right from Prince of Egypt [Ladybug saying she can make it right, but Chat saying there’s nothing she can do so she leaves]
Let You Go by Joshua Bassett [Chat saying goodbye]
The Next Right Thing from Frozen II [Ladybug after Chat leaves]
What Baking Can Do from Waitress [Marinette stress baking after the fallout]
Before You Go by Lewis Capaldi [Ladybug reflecting back on everything]
True Love - Ballad by Jordan Fisher [Ladybug realizing what she’s lost]
good 4 u by Olivia Rodrigo [Chat being angry because he thinks that LB is okay and has moved on when he hasn’t]
I Knew You Once by Hollie Allen [Ladybug after the fallout)
Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from The Phantom of the Opera [Ladrien singing]
If I Could Take This Moment Back from Tangled the Series [both of them feeling regret for their actions]
Iris cover by Kina Grannis [both of them while they're "broken up"]
Learn to be Lonely from The Phantom of the Opera [Chat while he’s Rogue Noir]
I Don’t Wanna Love Somebody Else by A Great Big World [they still love each other]
I’d Give Anything from Tangled the Series [Ladybug wanting Chat back]
Did I Make The Most Of Loving You from Downton Abbey [Ladybug asking about Chat]
Payphone by Maroon 5 [Chat starting to regret his choices]
Far Too Late from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella [Ladybug feeling like it’s too late to get Chat back]
Always Remember Us This Way from A Star Is Born[During the "break up", them remembering the good times]
When We Were Young cover by Madilyn Bailey [After the ladynoir fallout Chat looking back...both of them stark back on the past]
Hello by Adele [them starting to call out to each other]
Meet Me On the Battlefield/Battlefield by SVRCINA [Them seeing each other in fights but no where else]
Life’s Too Short (Reprise) - Outtake from Frozen [Learning to see each other’s points of view]
Say Something by A Great Big World [them wanting to talk but not having the courage to]
Beautiful Ghosts by Taylor Swift [Chat trying accept the loneliness]
Wondering from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series [Both of them wondering what would have happened if things were different]
Pictures in my Head from The Muppets [Remembering the happy past]
Stay With Me by Sam Smith [Both of them thinking it but never saying it]
Just Give Me a Reason by P!NK [Chat looking at this point for any reason to stay]
Space Between from Descendants 2 [Them starting to reconcile]
What’s Up Danger from Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse[Chat Noir returns]
I Still Have Faith In You by ABBA [Ladynoir come back together]
Confident by Demi Lavato [Ladynoir fighting Shadowmoth together]
Seventeen (reprise) from Heathers [After the battle]
After All by Michael Buble [them falling in love with each other again]
And that's it! Sorry I didn't have it as a real playlist! Hope it scratches the Ladynoir fallout itch! Happy (or sad) listening!

I have four wips right now > When Phayu and Rain first decided to have a kid, Sky thought it was cute. He’d watched Rain secretly research adoption for ages before Phayu finally said he didn’t care. He’d watched Rain support Phayu and worry about the potential for dysphoria, while Phayu called it a temporary home for their little one. He’d seen Rain dote and jump in to fight people for Phayu in the grocery store, even when Phayu was more concerned about people at the races. He had heard about how happy they were when their baby was born, and seen it when he’d met them the next day. It was sweet, and it warmed Sky’s heart for his friends.
Now that he and Prapai were babysitting, Sky really wished they’d just adopted a dog.
(PaiSky babysitting AU) >Sure enough seven came and Pete showed up, Vegas in tow. Unfortunately.
“Relax he’s just dropping me off Khun.”
“Hello Tankhun.” Vegas made it sound like an insult. Like he himself was too good for this.
“Vegas.” Tankhun glared. “Pete, sweetie, you know I’ll always support you if you leave him. You made bad decisions, but I promise you can leave him.“
“I’m happy where I am, thanks.”
“Traitor.” Khun rolled his eyes. “Oh well. We have more pressing matters to attend to.”
(VegasPete and TimeTay Flower Shop x Tattoo Parlor AU) >Korn had seen many things that filled him with dread before, exams with grades he knew would be low, headlines that meant someone he loved would be put in danger, the look in his then girlfriend’s eyes when she told him he’d gotten into her study abroad program. This was the worst. The tiny silver and diamond ring Wai showed him.
Wai’s eyes sparkled more than the diamond talking about how he was going to propose to his girlfriend. Korn felt his heart fall somewhere his stomach should catch, but that was gone too. He swallowed it down and smiled congratulating Wai. He’d be a good best friend, he was that first and foremost, that was all Wai wanted from him.
He could cry later.
(WaiKorn post canon angst and getting together) > “Rain you have got to listen to this song.” Rain’s coworker turned to him. She always had a new song recommendation for Rain and everyone in their office. “This one is basically made for you.”
Laughing, Rain took the headphones she offered him. He had some downtime today.
Listening he had to admit the melody was nice, even if pop-punk wasn’t his usual genre. This was obviously a love song from the first few notes, but Rain would listen to it anyway.
Once he heard the lead singer’s voice, Rain’s heart stopped. There was something familiar about it, something warm. It was a voice he’d heard sing to him while making morning coffee. Phayu.
(PhayuRain AU based on Avril Lavigne's Sk8r Boi blame the server)

4*TOWN dear beloveds
what is your favorite music artist in the scene rn?
any least favorites?
would love to hear about your tastes and thoughts on the current musical industry
love yall heart hands
Aaron T. doesn't try to hide his wide grin at all, beaming at the way you address them. "So glad you asked, I-"
"Recently, I've been listening to Shakira," Robaire starts before Aaron T. can get another word in. He fights off a smile as T. throws his hands up. "And Mariah Carey."
Taeyoung glances at Aaron T., and grows a smile of his own. "Spice girls and Destiny's Child make music that I really like, and I'll always be interested in what Seo Taiji and Boys are doing!"
"Alanis Morissette," Aaron Z. says, "and-"
"Backstreet Boys!" Aaron T. points at him. "Me too!"
"Backstreet Boys," he confirms.
"Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, and Avril Lavigne." He leans against Aaron Z., who wraps an arm around his waist. "Because I have taste."
"Oh yeah, T." Taeyoung crosses his arms. "Keep your music down at night please. I can't sleep when the whole house is echoing 'he was a skater boy, she said see you later boy.'"
"You love it."
"Lately, it's been Britney Spears," Jesse says, "I'm a Slave 4 U, Overprotected, she has a lot of songs that I really connect with."
Aaron Z. looks at him. "And?"
"And what?"
Robaire encourages him to continue. He blinks. "And what?"
"This is how you remind me." Robaire sings, poorly imitating the song.
"Oh my God, every single day." Aaron T. groans.
Jesse glares. "I don't get why you all hate Nickelback so much."
"I don't hate Nickelback," Robaire says, "anyone who has to put up with this industry will always have my respect."
"God, don't get me started." Taeyoung stretches. "The music industry does bad things to people, it's a miracle we're okay, if you could-"
Robaire warns. "Tae. Cameras."
He halts, looks at you, then returns your heart hands with a smile. "Thanks for asking."

Get ready to step inside the musical landscape of Kyle Richardson, where every chord strummed and every note sung resonates with the sincere echoes of lived experiences and pure passion. https://youtu.be/zmhVzZ54vis 1. Kyle, thank you for joining us today. Can you share a little about yourself and your musical background? Hey! Thanks for chatting with me! I’m a pop music recording artist based out of Vancouver, Canada. I started performing when I was still in school, I did musical theatre and a lot of different talent contests and school functions, and was the lead singer of a fun coffee shop/cover band for a few years, before eventually moving to Vancouver to pursue music in a more serious manner.   2. Can you explain what drove you into a career in music, particularly singing? I honestly always loved singing, but it took a big push from a music teacher when I was really young for me to feel comfortable singing in front of people. In high school I had a breakout moment for myself, singing a cover of “Superman (It’s Not Easy)” by Five For Fighting in a talent show that had such a great response it made me really want to start focusing on music more seriously and helped me realize that I have something to offer. I gained so much perspective on my vocal capabilities after forming an awesome cover band with some high school friends, and we did weekly gigs and private functions. I eventually started songwriting and realized that I have something to say and that original music was the way to express it! [caption id="attachment_51108" align="alignnone" width="2000"] Exclusive Interview From Kyle Richardson And His New Single "Anything"[/caption]   3. Can you tell us how your journey as a musician started in Vancouver? Once I started taking songwriting seriously, I started reaching out to some legendary music industry people based out Vancouver, including mix engineer Mike Fraser who I had heard of through my mentor Nancy Nash. Mike’s manager connected me to producer Jeff Dawson and I ended up coming down to Vancouver to record some of my original songs. It was such an amazing experience that I needed to make Vancouver my home and try my hand at working more on my craft with such talented people.   4. How has your Canadian upbringing influenced your music? Canada has so much talent that it’s been so inspiring growing up seeing legends like Bryan Adams, Shania Twain, Celine Dion, Michael Bublé, Justin Bieber, Avril Lavigne, etc take the world by storm! I’ve grown up such a fan of Canadian talent.   5. How has your music style evolved over the years? Over the years I have really refined my style. I started out much more basic musically and was focused on being more of an acoustic styled singer songwriter, but over time I’ve incorporated a lot of elements of a lot of different genres into my music.   6. Where do you get your inspiration for your music? My inspiration comes from a lot of different places… day to day life can inspire lyrical ideas, relationships, things I witness friends and family going through can inspire song ideas… Sometimes it’s as simple as creating a melody and seeing what kind of lyrical idea the melody brings out. [caption id="attachment_51109" align="alignnone" width="1920"] Exclusive Interview From Kyle Richardson And His New Single "Anything"[/caption] 7. Let's move on to your new single, “Anything”. What inspired
you to write this song? I wanted to write a song about taking time to let the people close to you know how much they mean to you, and that you’ll always be there for them. A song trust celebrates how the small moments of showing you care can really help solidify a solid connection.   8. Can you describe the creative process you went through when creating "Anything"? The creative process I remember was incredibly fast with this song. I wrote it very quickly, all alone. Probably in like half an hour… and then sat on the demo for a very long time and eventually showed my producer Jeff the demo and he loved it and wanted to help make it into the version you hear now!   9. What is the key message or emotion you want listeners to take away from "Anything"? I want listeners to hear this song and realize how much they care about their loved ones, and make them grateful for every moment they get to share with them.   10. What was the most challenging aspect of creating "Anything", and how did you overcome it? The most challenging aspect honestly was the fact that I wrote this song a very long time ago and I had taken time and made sure it still resonated with me and could still sound current and modern today with a fresh production. I tested the song with a lot of people I trust before hitting the studio to see if the song still holds up, and I got the green light all the way! https://open.spotify.com/track/2bGUMQZjYlcm5SKYS9l5Oe?si=d9b0506849eb4fd8 11. How is “Anything” different from your previous releases? “Anything” is definitely my shortest single to date! It’s a bit sweeter and less in-your-face than other singles I’ve released in the past, and definitely holds a more emotional core message.   12. Would you describe your new single, “Anything”, as a shift in your musical style, or does it stay true to your original sound? “Anything” is really a throwback to my original writing sessions, with a fresh coat of modern production. It’s very much originally an acoustic guitar-based singer-songwriter vibe but we spruced up the track to make it sound current and have a more pop feel.   13. Can you share your favorite lyric from "Anything" and why it stands out to you? “Together we can do anything” is such a great message of hope that I think everyone can learn from. Now more than ever, people need to connect and find people they can trust on and rely on.   14. Can you talk about any artists or bands that have influenced your sound or songwriting process, particularly for "Anything"? There are elements of a lot of different artists I think I pulled from for this song… I find Gavin DeGraw often has chorus lyrics that are a little bit like a run-on sentence (like “I Don’t Wanna Be”) and the chorus of “Anything” has elements of that, along with the guitar-based elements of someone like John Mayer, and the swooping falsetto vocal melody of something like Coldplay. [caption id="attachment_51110" align="alignnone" width="1920"] Exclusive Interview From Kyle Richardson And His New Single "Anything"[/caption] 15. How do you think "Anything" reflects your current stage of life? At this stage in life, “Anything” is relatable to me because I’m realizing I need to focus on people I care about and building genuine connections. I need to let my friends and family know just how much they mean to me, and be there for them as much as possible.   16. In what ways does "Anything" represent the musical direction you're heading? This single is a good representation of my musical direction because it’s a pop song with modern production and heartfelt lyrics. I want my music going forward to be uplifting, modern in its production choices, and have a strong emphasis on the vocals.   17. Were there any unexpected surprises or challenges while recording "Anything"? This was honestly a great song to record. I have lived with this song for a while now so by the time I
hit the studio with it, Jeff and I had a very clear image of what we wanted the sound to be and we were able to execute it exactly how we we wanted. The production is clean and clear and the vocal day was an amazing session.   18. Who are some other artists or producers in Vancouver or Canada as a whole that you'd like to collaborate with? Vancouver is such a talent-rich city, there are a number of people I’d love to work with. Luca Fogale is an artist I’d love to write with, his style is so intimate and lyrically so exceptional. Brian Howes is a legendary writer/producer and I’d love the chance to get to work with him on something. Ryan Stewart has written and produced some of my favorite Canadian pop music of all time and it would be a joy to link up with him at some point. I’ve written with Daniel Powter as well who is not currently based here, but I had such a great time writing with him and I’d love the chance to get to do that again in the future!   Klein and Jamison Release a Melodious Mantra for Harmonious Healing 19. How has Covid-19 and the pandemic influenced your musical process, if at all, especially with "Anything"? Covid definitely had an effect on my musical output. I actually had a ton of material ready to release prior to the pandemic and lockdowns, but when all that happened, I was forced to slow down a bit and was given time to really focus on the project as a whole and how I wanted to present it. Instead of just making a music video for “Anything” and calling it a day, I got all the videos done for the songs I wanted to release as singles, and even got to do a bunch of acoustic versions of the songs I had finished.   20. Is "Anything" a standalone single, or should we expect an album to follow? If so, how does the single tie into the larger work? “Anything” is one of a few singles off of my upcoming debut album “Louder Than Words,” I previously released the first single off of the album called “Can You Hear Me” and the full album and subsequent singles coming out this fall! “Anything” is a great representation of the album as its modern, emotional, and vocally focused, and is actually the one song I wrote completely solo for this project!   21. What final words do you have for your fans both old and new ones? I hope everyone’s been enjoying their summer and pride season! I’m trying to release music right now that is uplifting and inspiring, with fun, light summer vibes! I hope everyone loves the music and know that there is a lot more coming very shortly from me! Funny context: So the story behind this song was that my dad actually matched me up with his friends son, thinking that we might get along. So he passed a note with his number with small heart next to it for me to call him. But anyway there was back and forth about planning to meet and one day he just stopped replying and my dad actually asked his friends what's his deal and the dude was actually just really shy... and it inspired this song. The "butterfly" feeling I got was nervousness and a bit of anxiety cause he was taking forever to get back to me and the vibe and message is pretty similar to Avril Lavigne's song "Girlfriend", inspiring the idea of "I'm worth your time"
So naturally the tone of the whole song was a bit angsty and pleading taking on a straighter more pop-rock groove and feel.
Because the song actually starts off with me singing first (and im not perfect pitched) there was the issue of starting the song in the right key. Actually in my esplanade performance I completely didn't account for this situation and ended up starting the song in the wrong key...... BUT instead of keeping going and just sliding back into the right key that everyone was playing in I decided to turn it into a bit and stop the song. I think it actually might have made the section a bit relatable like "yea people mess up sometimes" so I carried on and asked Ridz to play the key for means then went straight back into the song. Alemay has always taught me to pretend as if every mess up was intentional and I asked a bunch of people about what they thought of it and a lot of people actually thought I was doing a bit so I think I recovered quite well. For the final recital ill ask him strum the key while incorporating it into the introduction of the song like:
"it goes something like this"
*plays chord in 8th note for 1 bar*
*sings the first line*
[Verse 1]
I know I say that I don’t care
But every second I’m just thinking bout what
you’re thinking
And if you’re thinking of me
Heart next to you number
Do you remember you gave it to me
[Pre-chorus 1]
Missed messages I left in your phone
Unread all I hear is the dial tone
So I lie in bed and wait
For you to see what I had to say
[Chorus]
Hey baby, don’t you let me down now
Tell me that I’m what you want and more
I know that I’m worth fighting for
Don’t leave me waiting by the door
Tell me to come meet you after dark
Baby I’m saying it’s not that hard
To come my way
Ill make you wanna say
[Verse 2]
That you don’t care
What all your friends are saying bout us when
you go drinking, and that you’ll be thinking of me
We’ll be under the covers
Close to each other, not a second to breathe
[Pre-Chorus 2]
We could be more, could be all that you dreamed of
We could touch, no more distance between
So I’ll stare and wait
For you to see what I have to say
[Chorus]
Hey baby don’t you let me down now
Tell me that I’m what you want and more
I know that I’m worth fighting for
Don’t leave me waiting by the door
Tell me to come meet you after dark
Baby I’m saying it’s not that hard
To come my way
Ill make you wanna stay

Hellooooo from your Secret Santa🎄🧑🏻‍🎄🤍:
I hope you didn't think I forgot about you, because I didn't! <3 Here I am💕💕
Don't worry, I'm enjoying these messages a lot! They're not stressful at all and I'm loving writing to you<3
I'm really glad to read that you had a good day yesterday! Do you teach kids or teenagers? And to answer your questions, I do not like football; my family wasn't a big football fan growing up so I was never interested on it. I love fics, the whole reason I kept my sanity during lockdown was because of fics. Naps? My #1 true passion. I love sleeping and I love long naps with my dog next to me<3
I had a very easy day yesterday, no work for me so that means no stress at all and I was reall thankful for that, Today in the other hand, was a little bit stressful, my boss and I are getting a lot of fights lately but nothing too serious, I just think it's a rough patch between me and her. We'll get throught it. How was your day? Hopefully you had a beautiful morning and now you're having a happy evenning!<3
The number we coincide on it's 13, for some reason or another it has always been present in my life! I do think we will get along really well once you discover who I am<33 Maybe we are in the same hemisphere, maybe not, who knows?👀👀
I'm an introvert just like you, it's hard for me to be out of my comfort zone but once I feel good in it, there's no one who'll shut my mouth, lmao. Cats are beautiful! I only know so little of them because I've never been so close to one:( But I think they're amazing and cuddly <333 Love 4 non blodes!! It's my mama's favorite band and I also grow up listening to "whats up?" omg, now I'm thinking if we have the same age mmm. As a favorite song, I don't think I have one because I love music too much that's difficult to choose one. But I'll tell you the first song I ever learn how to sing was "My happy ending" by Avril Lavigne, that song was my anthem when I was 8 years old, I think.
Wel well, it's getting really interesting to know more about you! I hope you don't think I'm a creep for asking so many questions hahaha soooo for today I would like to know if you do like and enjoy christmas? and tell me a memorie that makes you really happy everytime you think of it. I'll be waiting to read it <33
Another long message just for youuuuuu<33 I feel this was a listless one, I'm not on right set of mind because I'm sleepy hahhaa I've been up since 4am so sorry :( but tomorrow you'll get a better message. I promise! But still, I really hope you enjoyed this message<333
Sending you big and long hugssss wherever you are xx
hello lovely! so glad to hear from you!
i’m sorry you didn’t have a good day today and i hope everything gets better between you and your boss. i know what it’s like to have a difficult relationship at work, so i can only pray for it to not take a toll on you.
abt my job, i teach teenagers! that’s why it can get a bit stressful at times but i tried to understand them bc i was a teenager once as well lol. what kind of fics do you like? i feel like my taste has changed the last couple of years, and maybe the lockdown had something to do with it bc i tried to read as much as i could. and i take naps with my cat! although he takes his own whenever he wants and only joins me when he feels really needy :D
i already like you! i feel you’re very similar to me bc of what you told me abt you being an introvert. it looks like we both like to talk a lot once i feel confident enough. i’ve got the feeling you’re younger than me but still a 90s baby? i’m 30 (my biggest flex is that i get to be louis’s age for half a year and then zayn’s for the other half).
i don’t mind your questions at all! i appreciate them a lot and they’re fun to answer :D i like christmas but i don’t celebrate it as i used to when i was younger. this is gonna sound super cliché but my best memories of christmas were when i still had my mum, and when my youngest nephew was born. nowadays i celebrate louis’s birthday more than anything hehe. do you like christmas though? how do you celebrate it?
thanks for your lovely message and your kind words! i hope you get to rest tonight after a long day! sending love and hugs your way! <333

PIERCE THE VEIL CONCERT TICKETS CRACK
The returning Pierce The Veil will be “debuting some new material” and “playing some old songs that we can all sing together at the top of our lungs” in December.Ĭollide with the Sky is the third full-length studio album from American post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil, released on July 17, 2012. Pierce The Veil announce first UK tour in six years Pierce the Veil Announce December 2022 UK Tourīeloved San Diego band Pierce the Veil will make their long-awaited return to the road later this year. The band has announced a run of UK dates, taking place this December. I met an amazing a guy, got water poured over me by a security guard,I had to fight for a water bottle and I got confetti in places confetti shouldn’t be.Pierce The Veil, I Prevail, The Story So Far, Dance Gavin Dance, The All American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Car Seat Headrest, Sleeping With Sirens, Knocked Loose, JXDN, Avril Lavigne, Motionless. The song hits close to home with me and I was telling myself not to cry and I didn’t until the bridge of the song was played where everything went silent and it was just vic singing ‘if I Where you I’d put that away see you’re just wasted and thinking about the past again, darling you’ll be okay…’ and that set off the waterworks. She would sit there for hours and no one not even her parents would notice she was missing. Now the song was written about vics (lead vocalist) friend who sadly killed her self, it’s about her story and how she’d sit up up in a tree in her back yard to see if anyone would notice she was missing.
PIERCE THE VEIL CONCERT TICKETS CRACK
Then they decided to crack out the tear jerking song that is hold onto may. Pierce the veil played a bunch of new and old songs including my favourites Floral and Fading and bulletproof love. And to just see the band that’s helped me out of my dark times stood metres away was overwhelming. Now I don’t know if you’ve ever gone to a concert especially to a concert of an artists you admire a lot, you get this feeling of realisation when the artists come out onto the stage and you’re stold their awe stricken with realisation of they’re right in front of me dawning over you. Then the whole crowd started chanting “f*ck Donald trump!”įinally the main act came on, pierce the veil. The lead singer gave this amazing speech about feminism and treating woman right, he also gave a speech about Donald trump and how they do not agree with building walls and racist behaviour. Although I didn’t know any of their songs they Where such a good band live and they had amazing stage prescence. Then the next support acts, the one that confused me the most was let live. The first support act came one which was a band called the creepers, I only knew one song of theirs but they where pretty Fucking good. We some how, despite being right at the back of the line got to the barrier at the left side of the stage. We stood in line for an hour and half before finally going into the venue which was smaller then I thought, the capacity was 2,600 people and there was only a tiny seating area. We luckily saw the car pull round the corner so we got Esme to run after it and we finally got the tickets. Now the car could be anywhere and we didn’t have our tickets so we where in this unknown city on our own with no clue what to do. The traffic in Manchester City was so busy once we where near Manchester university we just jumped out of the car in the middle of the busy road as just started walking to the university, we where nearly there when we realised, we left the tickets in the car. We left at 2 in the afternoon and the whole car journey, which normally takes 2 hours, was spent in heavy traffic and us all gawking at this beautiful Nissan GT-R. Hey, so last night me and my two best friends, Esme and Amy, went to Manchester to see one of our favourite bands live, Pierce the
