Dream Come True
pairing: ethan morales x reader
content: a fluffy fic about ethan and your relationship with smut at the end
18+ minors dni
a/n: i wanted to read an ethan fic so bad so I wrote one myself<33
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
you were the perfect girl and you'd literally strangle someone if they said so otherwise.
but ethan morales was exactly the mess you wanted in your life.
it all started at a party that was happening at ethan's house and you were sitting on the couch talking to your friends.
"there's my best girl" ethan said with a sigh sitting down on the couch besides you.
"you do realise this is the first time im talking to you" you answered back.
"you gotta admit it was a nice try to start conversation."
"yes I'll give you that."
he was grinning and that was the first time you noticed that ethan morales' eyes sparkled and god were you in awe of them.
see the truth was you have liked ethan since a while now before his whole 'I'm a hot skater boy' thing started.
after that party he started texting you constantly felt like a dream come true really and about a week later you found yourself in parking lot attending ethan's skateboarding.
right now he was sitting beside you and you couldn't get your eyes off him.
"you wanna learn some tricks?" he said suddenly and you without thinking of the consequences agreed.
and not even two minutes later you fell off the skateboard and on your butt.
you started laughing though and ethan sat beside you.
looking at each other you both leaned in on reflex your hands going to his chain to pull him closer.
and that was the exact moment you kissed ethan morales for the first time.
it was uphill from there you both started dating hitting the 6 month mark he was actually a nice person under the bad boy persona.
it was a saturday when ethan's parents weren't home and you both welcomed the empty space with open hands.
you were sitting on his lap kissing him quite aggressively, he started kissing down your neck and it was like both of you knew what was coming.
he flipped the both of you to lay you down "ever done this before?" he asked .
"no" you shyly answered.
he started to unbutton his shirt and you gladly helped him and started doing the same to yours.
"you're so pretty."
you blushed at that.
his hands were going lower and lower until they reached your folds.
"god you're so wet."
he aligned his cock at your entrance and pushed in and after waiting for you to adjust he started to move.
fuck you couldn't believe you were here you couldn't believe ethan was inside of you and you were marking scratches down your back.
you both came and he flopped down beside you.
"that was amazing"
"so amazing" he agreed
he then pulled you onto him and gave you a forehead kiss and you didn't want to be anywhere but here.

Ethan Morales One-shot
Tumblr media
warnings: just smut fr‼️‼️‼️
I walked into the science lab because i left my textbook, as i look up i see ethan. damn he seems hotter everytime i see him.
“sup y/n” he said with a smirk on his face
“sup ethan what are you doing?” i said anxiously because just his presence made
me nervous.
i have liked ethan since we were young and we’ve definitely made out at a few house parties but i always was yearning for more than that.
“well i was about to skip my next class. what are you doing?” he looks me up and down and licks his lips. i could just pass out, i want him so bad.
“i just needed to grab my textbook” i stepped toward the lab table and began to pick my textbook up but ethan pushed it back down on the stack of books it was resting on. i looked at him confused. he put a finger under my chin and looked me deep in the eyes.
“i think maybe you should skip class with me” he starts tracing my jawline.
i gulp hard. “that’s bad, i’m trying to get a scholarship” ethan pulled away and walked towards the door closing it and locking it.
“one class won’t kill you” he says walking back to me. he puts his hand on the small of my back and pulls me close to him. he leans forward and whispers in my ear “i know deep down you like to be bad” i exhale slowly and put my hands on the back of his neck. he starts kissing down my neck and i gasp, i feel his smile on my skin.
i pull his shirt over his head and he is quick to help me take it off. he knocks all the books of the lab table and picks me up and puts me on it. he kisses me deeply and he pulls my tank top over my head and starts kissing down my boobs. he continues kissing down my stomach until he gets to the top of my jean shorts. he looks up at me while he’s practically on his knees and starts unbuttoning my shorts.
he pulls my shorts off my legs and starts kissing my thighs. it doesn’t take him long before he pulls down my panties and starts kissing my clit. he starts licking slowly and i gasp. i can just feel his amusement as he starts eating me out and i can’t help but start moaning super loud. “fuck ethan!!!” any other guy would prefer to not get caught but ethan doesn’t care.
i lock my fingers in his hair as he enters his fingers inside of me. my mouth hangs open and i am breathing heavily. i’m so close to cumming and ethan can tell by the way i’m clenching his fingers. he quickly pulls away and i get pissed.
“what the fuck” i sit up staring at him.
“i just wanna be fucking you while you cum” he says as he’s unbuckling his belt. he quickly pulls down his boxers and im shocked by his size. like actually shocked. he opens his condom with his teeth and puts it on. he steps forward and lines his dick up with my pussy. he starts rubbing my clit with his tip and i feel so on the edge i need him to fuck me.
i grab onto his back and pull him closer and he finally slides into me.
“fuck” i yell so loudly that someone had to have heard me.
he starts sliding in and out of me and i cant keep my composure. i start uncontrollably moaning and he starts groaning in my ear. it’s so hot. he picks up his pace and starts rubbing my clit with his thumb.
“im gonna cum oh my god” i scratch his back and he just keeps going faster.
“fuck fuck fuck” he says in my ear. “y/n im so close”
“me too” im holding onto him for dear life as he fucks the shit out of me.
i cum all over his dick and he cums inside the condom.
we’re both panting and are stuck in place. he pulls out of me and leans forward and kisses me deeply.
i pull away and our noses are touching and i can feel his breath on my face as i say “maybe i do like being bad”
he smiles “yeah you do” and starts kissing me again.

୨୧, ethan morales x POC&FEM!reader x devi vishwakumar. -(drabble)
Tumblr media
' ethan and devi are dating, and you can't help but crush on the both of them; however, they seem to fancy you, too '
tags rated T, touching, oblivious reader, hinted polyam
you're a pretty reserved girl at school, not exactly studious but not bound to flunk at any moment either. sports is your forte, specifically football which is where you meet aneesa.
aneesa finds you fun to hang with from the get go!!! eventually, you two are joined by the hip. you're never not hanging out with her.
near the beginning of your senior year, aneesa introduces you to devi, fabiola and eleanor. you immediately click with devi, surprisingly. from what you've heard, devi is similar to you when it comes to new people, which may be the reason why you two instantly find one another endearing.
you're not blind, whatsoever. so it doesn't take you long to develop feelings for devi. she's gorgeous and has a killer body. her long, wavy hair is comparable to that of a mermaids, and her dark eyes are sultry at best. her nose ring makes her even more hot, along with her firey attitude. not only that, but she's on the cusp of becoming valedictorian and that immediately seals the deal for you.
she's the whole package, and you're shocked to know of her boy problems at a last minute sleepover.
it's just you and devi in her room cuddling. from an outsiders perspective, the both of you look like a couple. unfortunately, that's not the case. you and devi have just crossed the fine line between friendship and relationship. and it definitely can't be anything more than that, since devis currently dating ethan morales.
devi confides in you, explaining how they aren't that serious. she just needed a rebound after that entire ordeal with ben and margot.
as you listen to devi rant wrapped in her arms, you can't help but sulk silently. you've never talked to ethan, but from the way devis face lights up at the mention of him, it's clear to see he means so much more to her than she realizes.
you never really liked ben or any one of devis boyfriends, but ethan seems to interest you. he's not like her other exes from what she's told you. ethan seems to be genuinely in love with her, and devi is too blind to see it. and, you'll never admit it out loud but he's quite the charmer, too.
the next morning, devi seems to be in a good mood. better than yesterday, and that has you feeling giddy too. it's a saturday, so the two of you take it slow and eventually find yourselves on the couch. devi is super relaxed, since she's got the house to herself.
while you're mindlessly scrolling through netflix, devis phone rings abruptly. you watch in curious when she suddenly excuses herself to the kitchen. from where you're lounging, you spot the big grin on her face as she converses excitedly with whomever is on the other end.
you don't think too much about it, but you do miss the warmth of her body from beside you.
eventually you give up and play a spoifty playlist on the tv, and after who knows how long devi comes back to sprawl herself across the couch, head laying on your bare thighs.
you try not to blush at the contact and instead ask; "so, whos got you all giddy on the phone?"
devis smiles in content, "just ethan, i invited him over if that's fine with you.."
you're not exactly happy, sure ethans eye candy but devi and him aren't exactly known for their modest ways. their pda is on a whole other level, and to be frank, you weren't exactly keen to watch your crush get handsy with a cute boy you liked.
having two people you liked dating eachother was not for the weak.
through gritted teeth, you manage the best smile you can and say; "of course, this is your place. besides, ive always wanted to meet him," you shrug.
devis eyes seem to light up, and she pinches your cheek lightheartedly. "great!"
an hour or so later, the two of you somehow find yourselves wrapped in a thick persian blanket, limbs tangled underneath when there's an abrupt knock on the door.
devis fast asleep, drool forming in the corner of her mouth. slowly you unwrap yourself out of the blanket and get out, tucking devi in a bit more.
you already know who's at the door, so when you open it, you're not exactly suprised when you're blinded by ethans gorgeous smile.
as he greets you, your cheeks redden at the sudden hug from him.
ethans hands find themselves at the small of your back, with his face tucked into your neck. you can't help but think how intimate it all is, especially when you feel him inhale slowly.
"you smell good, y/n." he leans back, though his arms are now situated on your shoulders.
from how close the both of you are, you spot the cute mole on his cheek, and the way his wavy fringe cascades down his forehead perfectly. his lashes are surprisingly long, and it makes his eyes seem endearing more than ever.
"thanks," you can't help but whisper, he winks back in return, dropping his arms from your shoulders. you frowned at the loss of touch.
is he flirting with you?
unfortunately, you're not able to think over the interaction in depth when you suddenly feel someone against your back, their head resting on your shoulder.
its devi, of course. you knew that smell of shampoo from anywhere.
you'd never been this close to devis face ever, you could practically feel her lashes against your face. and as your face reddened, ethan stood before the two of you in amusement.
while your brain malfunctioned, devi and ethan spoke to one another as if this was normal. though you stood frozen, you could feel devis arms slither around your torso, before nestling against the front of your tummy.
this was too much for you to handle.
and even more so when ethan dipped down to devis level and gave her a brief kiss. what was crazier was the fact that you felt the corner of his lips brush against your cheek, too.
ethan backed off and gave you a cheeky grin, and from beside you, you heard devi give out a quiety giggle, her left hand on your waist now, slowly feeling you up and down.
your body felt on the verge of melting.
devi and ethan knew what they were doing, and all you could do was stand there speechless.
ethan shut the door behind him with his foot in one swift movement before focusing his attention on you and his girlfriend.
he looked down at you and tucked a strand of hair behind your ear before asking, "is this okay?"
you couldn't help but nod aggressively, unsure of what was happening yet eager to know either way.
were they into you?
and your question was answered with a wet kiss on the corner of your mouth from devi.
so, they were definitely into you.

I'm tempted to be extremely petty, to the point where if I see a comment on a video that says something like "Team Ethan" or "I stopped watching after she dumped Ethan", I'll just reply with "Who?!" Because that's the lasting impression he had left on me.

Okay, so I was thinking of a fic with Rafe, Ethan, Chad, or Miles that they're going to go see the Barbie (obviously dressed up as Ken and Barbie) BUT it's with a Latina reader and she's wearing her old quinceanera dress. I think it'd just be really cute and fluffy but I don't know who I should write it for 🥲

Please don't kill me, Mr. Ghostface. I want to be in the sequel.

Pairings: Tara Carpenter x Male!Reader
Word count: 8.1k
Warnings: Heavily implied sexual content. Depictions of stabbing/kidnapping.
Tumblr media
“Damn, Tara. Your sister is HOT.”
You had a red solo cup in your hand, which used to be filled to the brim with alcohol, and you’ve might’ve been moderately drunk.
You were crowding Sam and some creep that had laid his hands on Tara and tried to drag her up to his room by force with the full intention of having sex with her.
Like, WHAT THE FUCK? You and Tara were open about your relationship; The two of you couldn’t be seen without the other hanging off their arm.
How could one lack a moral compass that bad to be dragging someone else’s woman into bed with them? No one can expect a man with the coined nickname “Frankie” to be smart, and that was the PG version.
You have been intoxicated out of your mind and you were in no shape or form to be fighting dudes reeking of testosterone, and later, you were going to be pissed off that Chad and Sam had to fight your own battles for you.
It was a good thing Sam showed up to the party when she did. Frankie got what he had coming to him—A good ass whooping, aka, tased in the balls.
It was hot when Sam’s boundless, protective, older sister nature was uncovered. That’s why you declared your admiration for the whole party to hear.
It’s also the primary reason she was the one person you and Tara did not flaunt your relationship to.
Imagine what would happen if Sam Carpenter found out you were dating her younger sister? She was hellbent on keeping Tara safe for every day of her life.
So yeah, your intimate relationship has been kept under wraps from her to spare Tara’s sanity and for your best interest.
Tara’s friends didn’t know either, only Mindy and Anika because their gay radar was too strong and they were smart women, picking up on various hints that you and Tara dropped. Okay, technically, it was not an exclusive relationship.
Though, you had a sneaking suspicion Chad knew. There was a time when he would be seen attached to Tara’s side and making her laugh, but weirdly, he’s been keeping his distance and directing his attention to his roommate, Ethan.
He still made her laugh, and so did the rest of her friends. It would be mean if you took that away from him.
Tara thumped your arm, causing you to wince and mumble an ‘ouch’. She wielded so much strength despite her small body size. “I’m your girlfriend, asshole. Don’t take her side.”
You faked an offended gasp, placing a hand on your chest. “I wasn’t taking her side. I was merely making a suggestive comment on the situation.”
Tara rolled her eyes; Your stupidity went in one ear and out the other. “What are you doing here? I cannot believe you followed me.” She was talking—more like yelling—to Sam.
Your girlfriend, being a defiant young adult, was too agitated to listen to her sister’s explanation and favored dramatic exits.
You were the obedient, caring partner and supported your lover in her many tantrums; hence, you pursued Tara outside as she marched on the street to blow off steam.
Sam blew past you like a blur of wind, hot on her sister’s heels. “Will you stop?!” She demanded.
It wasn’t said rudely. It was a desperate, I-need-to-talk-to-you kind of demand.
Tara did stop, but then she launched into a rant about how Sam’s constant, overbearing supervision was suffocating and prevented her from achieving the future she desired.
You strayed a few feet apart from both of them, watching the back of Sam’s head, because it was best to let the sisters resolve the conflict themselves.
Your girlfriend had this terrible habit of locking away her emotions until they festered and exploded in her face.
Sam fell prey to Tara’s angry outbursts 99.9% of the time. Of course, you weren't immune from the angst either just because the two of you were dating, but on the several occurrences it happened, it was misdirected.
The same applied to her friends. If they expressed any semblance of concern for Tara’s safety, she would berate them, whether that be in public or in private.
She did need to see a therapist, not just about her feelings and impulsivity, but about the post-traumatic stress disorder she cultivated because she was a victim of fucked up killings in Woodsboro.
Yes, you knew. The internet was at the entire world's fingertips and made it extremely tough for you to dodge the information acquired by social media.
You had tried to offer a referral to your therapist, but Tara just refused without considering it.
You felt a presence by your side and watched in your peripheral vision as Chad, Ethan, Mindy, and Anika assembled in a horizontal line next to you and listened to the argument.
“I have been going out with—!” Your eyes expanded to the size of golf balls at the slip-up. Tara stopped mid-sentence, her eyes flicking over to yours nervously.
“You’re dating? Who?” Sam looked around, apprehensive, and urged Tara to confess who her suitor was.
You shook your head in a silent no, and Tara was quick to cover her mistake. “No one! I'm not dating anyone.” She resumed her indignant tone, “Because you won’t let me go."
This was not how you envisioned Sam finding out, blurting out secrets during fights was the absolute worst way to reveal information.
If Sam just caught her sister in a lie, she didn't mention or show it. She was annoyed, but not more than usual. “Tara, If you want to date, you can. I never took that choice away from you. You know my rule, don't sleep with assholes."
“And I'm not! I haven't.” Tara exclaimed. “I never gave that douchebag permission to take me upstairs. I can't believe you think so low of me.”
Sam’s voice raised to the same pitch as Tara’s, which was a striking contrast from her previous, calm demeanor. “If you want to be a crazy party girl, then that's what I'm going to think you are.”
She was losing her patience, it was being stretched thin like a rubber band.
Tara scoffed and called her sister a hypocrite, then mentioned something about letting go.
Both sisters sounded like they were holding back tears, they went back and forth, and the argument was soon tired out.
There was a long night ahead of you.
“I'm sorry about your shirt.” You were apologetic as you leaned against the kitchen counter and watched as Sam scrubbed aggressively at the fabric, which had been stained with Cherry Coke or some other beverage.
“Not your fault.” Sam gave you tight-lipped smile in return, it didn't quite reach her eyes.
She pulled her shirt over her head and tugged it off. You ogled her for a second too long, drummed your fingers against the counter, and left the kitchen area to see your girlfriend since her sister wasn't much of a conversation starter.
“I'm sorry for telling Sam about the party.” Quinn was standing in Tara’s room when you came in. “It's just–she was really upset, and I couldn't help my mouth.”
“It's fine, really.” Tara had a disingenuous smile on her face. It bothered her more than she let on. “She’s all on my ass, like usual.”
Quinn eyed you like a vulture would a carcass when you stepped into her field of view and sat down. “Who is this cutie?”
“Y/n is a friend.” The lie rolled off Tara’s tongue easily. Guess she didn't trust Quinn enough to not blab to Sam about your relationship with her.
“Friend, huh?” Quinn didn't seem like she believed it. She slow-walked to the door. “Okay, Tara’s cute friend. If you ever find yourself pent up from lust and wanting a release, I’m a room away.” She sent a wink in your direction and stalked off.
You turned to Tara once Quinn was out of earshot, blinking in shock. “What the hell was that?”
Tara joined you on the bed. “That was Quinn.” A small, amused smile tugged on her lips. “She’s my ‘sex-positive’ roommate.”
“Huh.” You remarked with zero substance to the conversation. “I could picture that.”
It took Tara a minute to catch on, and she whacked your shoulder in faux annoyance. “Gross! It’s not like that, perv. Get that image out of your mind.”
You laughed, grinning at her aghast expression as you stuck your tongue out. “I’m just playing, baby.”
Tara huffed an exaggerated, annoyed sigh, and repositioned her legs so that she was turned to you. “I know you are, dumbass.”
The mattress dipped as you scooted closer and patted Tara’s thigh, still having that goofy grin plastered on your face. “I want to go out there and get drunk with Chad.”
You were ridiculous, talking about drinking again when barely even sober from the alcohol consumed at the party.
“Or…” Tara dragged out the ‘r’ syllable, leaning forward. “You bring a beer in here and I’ll sit on your face.” She smirked, an eyebrow raised as if she was daring you to refuse.
“Sold.” That was the fastest you ever hustled, power walking—because running in an apartment was crass unless absolutely necessary—from Tara’s room to the living area.
Pilfering two beers from Chad’s hands, you made a beeline to her room. Tara was suppressing a laugh when you returned, you did not waste time, and it was painfully obvious. “Close the door.”
You did as she said before the sentence was finished. Tara was calm and collected, but a closer look at her face said otherwise, more specifically, the anticipatory gleam in her eyes. She was as desperate as you.
You wrapped your arms around her neck and slinked down, your butt finding a seat on her lap. "No more demands."
The beers were held in one hand by the neck of the bottle, and you set them aside because it was inconvenient for your hands.
The bottles lay sideways on the bed, temporarily forgotten.
"None?" Tara feigned disappointment, her gaze following your tongue while you licked your lips.
"No more." You confirmed in a light whisper.
Your lips brushed against hers, not quite touching them because you wanted to keep your girlfriend on her toes.
Tara barely reached the average height, and your current position made it difficult for her to be comfortable.
She squirmed under you, "I said I was going to sit on your face, y/n. I didn't mean you on my lap." You smiled at her halfhearted complaint.
"I thought you planned to get drunk?" She playfully mocked your words from a few minutes ago, now that you had changed your mind.
"Nah. I don't need it because you intoxicate me." Before she could reply to your less-than-remarkable pick-up line, albeit in a judgmental way, you closed the distance and kissed her.
It was a gentle, short, and sweet kiss. Tara wore cherry-flavored lip gloss; the taste of it lingered on your tongue, and her hand found your cheek.
You had a daydream-like appearance when she disconnected her lips from yours, sporting a warm, lazy smile and dilated pupils.
“You’re so cute.” Tara couldn't help but copy your smile, she still looked as composed as ever. “Now get in position before Sam becomes suspicious and invades the privacy of my room.”
“Aye Aye, Captain.” You crawled to the other end of the bed, grabbed one of the beer bottles, and sat against the headboard.
You twisted the cap off and took a swig, a satisfied “Ahh,” leaving your mouth.
Tara observed all this with a roll of her eyes and crawled to you, picking up her beer. “Dork.” She swung her legs around both sides of your arms and sat on your chest.
When both of you were done drinking, you reached over and set the bottles on the nightstand, looking back at Tara with hungry eyes. You asked, “Ready?”
“Hey, T. I think I left my phone— Oh my god!” Quinn covered her eyes with her hand after waltzing into Tara’s room.
Soft moans filled the room along with other lewd sounds, both of you were too preoccupied to hear the door opening, and Quinn’s disgust went unnoticed.
“I’ll come back later!” She shut the door and scurried away. Mumbling under her breath, “Friends, my ass.”
You and Tara freshened up after having the ride of your lives in the bedroom. Tara orgasmed on your tongue, and she didn't want you to leave unsatisfied so she returned the favor, which led to you outstaying your welcome.
Not a drop of mess spilled on her sheets because if she had to clean them, Sam would have immediately found out about you two.
Tara lit a scented candle to rid the smell of sex from her room, and you helped her reorganize the bed.
Mostly everyone was chilling on the couch watching television when Tara walked you out to the living room, your hands intertwined with hers.
“I had a great night.” You said with a big grin while standing outside the apartment door.
It was late, and it was time for you to go home. “Minus the argument you had with your sister, but the party was pretty fun.”
Tara nodded, her face soured a little when Sam was mentioned, and the door was being propped open by her arm. “It was fun.”
“See you soon?” You were already excited at the thought of seeing your girlfriend again and you hadn't even left her place yet.
Tara crossed one leg in front of the other, and a light blush formed on her cheeks. “See you soon.” She affirmed.
She waved as the door was closed in your face. You walked away with a skip in your steps, happily humming the tune to a song you liked.
Unknown to both of you, it would be a while before you saw each other again.
You were at work when your phone chimed with a text alert from Tara. “Hanging out with my sister, Mindy, her girlfriend, and Chad. Wanna come over? I'm losing my mind.”
You smiled at the message, already imagining the group having fun and laughing. You typed back a response, “Wish I could. I am busy with work.”
“It’s cool.” She might’ve said it was cool, but you knew she was upset you couldn’t make it.
Another text alert and Tara had sent you a message. “Chad just nicknamed us the Core Four. Kill me now.”
“That is not happening.” You chastised her over text, laughing quietly to yourself because you could tell how annoyed she was.
Your phone was tucked inside your pants pocket and you opened the door to your place of work, walking inside.
That was the only conversation you had with her on the day following the party. Work was exhausting, you were scheduled for 9-hour shifts a few days a week and you often fell asleep straight after arriving in your dorm.
You had been stuck with a closing shift again, which was why you were spending your time at work instead of sleeping in or making out with your girlfriend.
Speaking of, you really would've liked to be with her. You haven't seen her for only two days, but it felt like an eternity.
A phone rang. It was yours, you dug it out of your pocket and pressed the answer button. Tara was calling. “Babe, hey. How are you?”
“Quinn and Anika were killed.” Tara’s voice was frail over the phone as she informed you about her friends’ deaths.
Your heart relocated to the pit of your stomach, and you immediately dropped what you were doing to comfort her. “I am so sorry. What the fuck happened?”
“Ghostface. He's back. She’s back, whoever the fuck it is.” Her words were sharp enough to cut through the phone.
You had stepped out where there was less noise, and so you could take a break. “It's going to be okay, alright?”
You glanced around the outside of your workplace, the only person there was a coworker dumping trash into the dumpster.
Tara sniffled. “A professor was killed by someone I knew, and he died too. It was on the news after you left our place.”
“I know. I caught the news before I went to bed. It’s unfortunate.” You never knew Jason well enough to care about him, only knowing him as the guy Tara hung out with too often, but it was alarming to learn there was a pattern of serial murders forming.
Someone was talking to her, but it was indiscernible on your end. “Mindy wants to know where you were last night while the murders and shit were taking place.”
You paused, feeling uneasiness wash over your body like a blanket. “I was working, babe.”
“For that long?” Tara sounded skeptical, and as a result of your stubborn attitude, you started to become defensive.
“Yes,” You slouched against the wall adjacent to the back door while pinching the bridge of your nose. “I'm the designated closer and I'm closing again tonight, working the morning shift right now.”
“Alright.” Tara wasn't as engaged in the conversation as she usually would be. She was dismissive and full of doubt about you.
“Y/n? Are you there?” You were deep in thought. Your mind ran a mile a minute as you panicked on the inside.
It wasn’t because Tara was skeptical of you, but because you were assessing the reality of the Ghostface killings.
“I don't think we should be together right now.” It was abrupt, both of you were surprised at your request.
“What? Are you serious?”
“Just until all this blows over.” You knew it was in poor taste and timing, but the possibility of being hunted and killed because you were in a relationship with Tara was far more gut-wrenching.
“Your friends were attacked and that means I’m next.”
“Look,” Tara’s voice turned exasperated as she attempted to sway your fear, “Whoever it is, has to be close to one of us. If we end our relationship, it will not work because they’re already gunning for you and me.”
“What if there's a chance it could work, though?” It was a stupid question—Deep down, you knew she was right.
Tara stated with utmost sincerity, “Y/n, I need you. I can't do this without you.”
You heard the trembling in her voice and your eyes felt misty, but you had to stay strong. “I know you do. This is what's best for us, though. I don't want to put my life at risk.”
“I'm risking mine as we speak, y/n.” Tara was growing frustrated with you. “Mindy—stop.”
“No! Stop! I'm not giving you my ph—” There were shouts of protest from Tara and what sounded like the phone exchanging hands by force.
“Hello?” You cringed, having to pull the phone away because Tara and Mindy were shouting in your ear.
“Y/n,” It was Mindy who answered you. “Terrible idea. I just asked where you were as a formality! You should stick with your girl or you'll regret it when your insides are—”
It sounded like Mindy was swatting away Tara as the latter demanded her phone back.
“Mindy, what are you even saying??” Sometimes, she could be a terrifying scary movie geek.
“One of the most important rules of horror moves: Splitting up is no bueno,” Mindy stressed every word to ensure you understood her point. “Tara—No!”
There was some fussing, and Tara returned to speak to you. She had wrangled her phone back. “Is there anything I can say or do to change your mind?”
You considered her question, biting the inside of your cheek. “No...” Your response was uncertain.
Your stomach churned, even it was sending signals that this was a bad idea, but your mind had been set... somewhat, anyway.
“I feared this was going to happen.” A heavy, dissatisfied sigh from your soon-to-be ex-girlfriend. “I guess this is goodbye, y/n.”
She was about to end the call, but you begged her to wait. “I thought you would fight me more on this.”
“What more can I say? It's your decision.” Her tone implied that she was not in the mood for a discussion anymore. “No one wants to stay when my sister and I have a huge target on our backs. I get it.”
Tara was still there, your Tara, the one you had grown to love. She was dealing with a lot right now.
You could hear your boss yelling at a coworker and asking about your whereabouts from inside your workplace; you needed to conclude this call fast.
“Tara.” You processed her words before you said anything irrational.
“When it gets out that I am innocent,”—enunciating the word ‘when’—I want you to know that I love you, I would never hurt you, and I hope this Ghostface bastard rots.”
Your phone beeped once, indicating that Tara hung up on you.
You scoffed in disbelief, staring in shock at the black screen in your hand.
She didn't say it back.
You headed back inside to do your job before your boss popped a blood vessel and triggered an aneurysm. Working would help distract your mind from the heartbreak that was settling in.
It was 10:30 P.M. and, like you said, you were closing tonight. It was just you, by yourself, in the dimly lit deli.
A detective with a full head of gray hair had stopped by earlier to interrogate you about your alibi and whereabouts during the time window of Jason Carver’s murder and the double homicide of Quinn and Anika.
He didn't say it outright, but you guessed that he was Quinn’s father because he had trouble saying her name without choking.
You were honestly perplexed that he hadn't been removed from the case due to a conflict of interest, but it was easier to answer him and move on.
You were in the back running deli meats through the company-bought slicer in preparation for tomorrow.
The whirring of machinery and the dicing of thick meats were the only sounds that occurred in the building, otherwise, it was eerily quiet.
You were just coming back from a bathroom break, whistling, when you were greeted by an uninvited guest.
Well, it took you embarrassingly long to notice the figure clad in a Ghostface mask and black cloak until you had turned around to investigate a noise, and there they appeared, armed with a knife, ready to kill.
It was a real-life jump scare. Your heart skipped a beat and your soul felt like it evaporated from your body as you screamed so loud, it was deafening.
Ghostface jabbed the knife at you, and you dodged, the knife cutting through the air where your head just was.
The space you were in was small, not fit for running or a two-person scuffle. All you could do was duck and avoid their attacks because you were cornered by this masked killer.
One thing led to another and you were pinned down on the counter, being slid toward the machinery you had just used to slice meats, the rotary blade was menacing as it neared you.
You struggled and released aggravated grunts. In a frenzy, you nailed Ghostface in the groin with an unsynchronized kick.
The cloaked figure sunk to their knees. A groan sounded suspiciously like a male’s, and it did not come from you.
Panting from exertion, you bent your knees to get a closer look while squinting your eyes. “Ethan?”
That name triggered something in the masked assailant, and they lunged at you with surprising momentum.
You were trapped on the counter once more, his grip was unforgiving on your wrist.
The palm of your hand lay flat on the surface, facing upwards. Ghostface stabbed the blade through your palm and the tip of it embedded in the counter, a guttural cry ripped from your throat.
Tears were flowing down your cheeks and you were weeping incoherently.
There was only one person you couldn't stop thinking of. “Please, I want to see Tara again. We have so much to talk about, I can’t leave her like this—Shit!”
You sunk your teeth in your lip as Ghostface ripped the knife from your hand and put an end to your mindless rambling.
You craved a distraction from the pain.
Ghostface leered over you, tilting his head, the screaming mask was especially daunting when you were his next victim.
He lifted the knife stained with crimson, and you screamed for the umpteenth time that night, your throat was becoming raw. “No, no, no!” The weapon was brought down in one swift, stabbing motion.
Outside, sirens blared, cars revved on the street, and the city bustled with life, but your cries of terror went unheard in the darkness of the night.
It was a new day and the weather was fine. Tara hadn't been in contact with you since you suggested a breakup.
She hadn't been in contact with you since you said those three words, and she didn't say them back. Still hasn't.
Tara didn't know what she was waiting for. You loved her irrevocably, and she knew that.
She had always known, starting from the time you guys shared a first kiss and when you gathered the courage to ask her out.
God, she missed you.
Everything you did and said swept her off her feet and into your arms. She wasn't being exactly fair to you. You were right to be frightened about her past, she didn't know why it hurt so much though.
Tara and her sister turned a corner, coming into full view of your place of work—Marceli’s Deli—but something was wrong, police cars and news reporters surrounded the building, and dispatch could be heard faintly over the radio.
Detective Bailey was on the scene, looking forlorn. The two women rushed to him.
Tara blurted out a string of questions before he received a proper greeting. “What happened?! Is y/n okay?”
“Oh,” Detective Bailey winced, lips tugging back in a grimace. “I'm afraid I have some bad news.”
Tara’s devastated expression hardened into an impassive one. “What? Is Y/n in there?”
She strained her neck to get a peek at the damage done, but Sam prevented her from sprinting inside.
Bailey raised his hands to his chest and pushed downwards, imitating a gesture that meant calm down. “Y/n has gone missing; The forensics team hasn't found a body, or... remnants of one.”
He glanced away from the Carpenter sisters, an offhand look in his eyes as he waved an officer over. “If you ladies will excuse me, this is an active crime scene, and I have unfinished work to do.”
Tara scoffed, then gasped like she couldn't believe what she just heard. Sam ushered her sister from the chaotic scene, softly murmuring, “We should go.”
“Sam! Tara!” Oh, they recognized that voice, it belonged to the shallow, selfish, self-serving liar herself, Gale Weathers.
And she swarmed into their personal space without reading the room or caring for Tara’s distraught demeanor. “How do you feel now that Ghostface has followed you to the Big Apple?”
Gale spoke into a microphone while someone filmed behind her. “Care to comment on the recent murders?”
“No. Leave us alone.” Sam said through gritted teeth. She was okay before Gale Weathers showed, but now she was aggravated.
Gale was annoyingly persistent, following after the two women when they tried to leave, and spouting an overwhelming plethora of questions.
Sam had enough. She spun on her heels, and with a roll of her eyes, threw a punch in Gale’s direction. The targeted newswoman anticipated that it was coming, and swerved.
“Nice try, sweetie,” Gale smirked, her voice amplified because of the microphone. “But I've been through this dance before—Oh!”
Tara’s fist struck her in the cheek and made Gale swivel. Tara leaned forward, threatening, “Stay away from us.”
Gale stood, dumbfounded, pressing a hand to where she'd been hit.
Sam was resting against a wall with her arms crossed once she found a secluded area for a genuine talk with Tara. “Is everything okay?”
Tara had been twisting her hands and gnawing on her lip, which were all signs that pointed to extreme anxiety and worry. “We were dating. Me and y/n.”
It came out like word vomit. Sam was surprised Tara confessed information about her private life without the usual opposition.
She blinked and straightened her posture, curiosity peaked. “Oh, Tara. Why didn't you tell me?”
“Because you're—” Tara was going to say something mean, but she stopped herself, her voice trailing off. “You.”
Sam listened to her younger sister with a glimmer of guilt in her eyes, and Tara despised that look, like she was a wounded puppy Sam had just run over.
She eyed Sam before finding solace in the ground and absentmindedly rubbing at her sore knuckles. “But Y/n has gone missing, or might not even be alive, and it's all my fault.”
Sam frowned and wrestled with a thought. “Is it possible—”
“Don’t.” Tara shut down the question before Sam could complete it, because if it was voiced aloud—there was a chance it could be true.
And she didn't want it to be true.
Sam nodded and held her tongue; her lips were set in a straight line. She didn't want to upset her sister further. “Okay.”
“It's not over.” Sam shuffled over to Tara, their shoulders almost touching as they both leaned on the building. “We're going to find Y/n and kick the asses of whoever is accountable for hurting all of us.”
“Promise?” Tara half-smiled at her sister.
She wouldn't be wholly content until you were in her arms again, but knowing she had Sam by her side, that made her feel better.
“Swear on it.” Sam held out her pinky, her tone was sweet, but her face expressed a certain maliciousness.
In agreement, Tara hooked their pinkies together. She just missed one vital piece that would make her life almost okay again... you.
A lot has happened. Gale Weathers had been stabbed, Mindy was stuck with Ethan on a train and she was falling behind, and Tara was spiraling into depression because you remained missing.
Prior to Gale’s attempted murder, the reporter had found an abandoned, secret hideout with Ghostface graffiti scattered on the outside and guided Sam and Tara to it—everyone else followed along—as an apology for being a conceited bitch.
It kinda worked. Tara felt a little remorseful, but she deserved that punch.
Turns out the inside was even more of a freak show, occupied with Ghostface collections and a fucking shrine of mannequins wearing cloaks and wielding the knives of past killers, only all the masks were missing.
Tara did not like it here. The place gave her the creeps equivalent to a thousand bugs crawling down her back.
She hoped that you would show up out of the blue, in good health, with a smile on your face, saying something like, “I'm sorry I ran away,” and tease her like you always did by being your goofy self.
But with every passing moment that specific scenario didn't happen, the likelihood of you being alive became less likely, and her heart grew heavy.
Tara didn't want to admit it, because then your disappearance would become a reality, but her hopes were diminishing.
Sam was also going through her own internal turmoil; Tara has seen the way her sister looked at Billy Loomis’s display when she assumed no one was watching.
“What are you doing?” Tara didn't mean to spook Sam. Her eyes gleamed, not out of fear, but because she was concerned.
“Yo, Tara!” Chad had cupped his hands over his mouth to shout and was beckoning for her to walk with him.
Tara glanced over at Chad and back at her speechless sister, who was struggling to form a sentence, her gaze sympathetic.
She turned away to follow Chad.
“Who uses this place anymore? It's so old,” Tara remarked while smirking.
She stood at a dusty concession counter with Chad. He smiled at her comment and shifted closer to her.
He reached for an old box of candy at the same time she did, and their fingers brushed.
Tara flushed from embarrassment. “Oh, you can have it.”
Chad withdrew his arm, grinning sheepishly. “I'm sorry. You can have it.”
“No, you can take them.” Tara insisted, her smile fading while handing the box of chocolate to him.
But Chad just wouldn't get the hint. “No, you wanted them...” He tossed the candy down on the counter. “You take it.”
“I don't want them. They're a hundred years old. I actually—What are you doing?” Chad had tried to kiss her, but Tara pushed him back.
“Kissing... You?” He arched a brow in confusion, sounding unsure of himself.
“I'm dating Y/n. I was. We broke up.” She rambled, using her inhaler before she was sent into a panic attack. “It's complicated.”
Chad wasn't unattractive in the slightest. He had a buff build, muscles, and a soft heart underneath the tough jock exterior.
Sometimes he said things that made him seem brainless, but terrible timing aside, she didn't see him like that—more than as a friend.
Even if you were out of the picture, which was a thought she couldn't stomach, her relationship with you was still fresh. She didn't want to date anyone else.
Chad was quiet, and all Tara wanted to do was drown herself in the silence.
Sam lingered away from the Ghostface mannequins, and stepping down the stage, she called out, “Tara? Chad? Kirby?”
She was alone, in the room by herself. They had dispersed to different areas of the theatre and left her.
Tara and Chad stood beside each other with their backs turned to the counter, seeking comfort in the other’s presence.
“I'm stupid, aren't I?” Chad had a pained smile on his face. He was trying to make the situation less awkward by joking.
Tara couldn't help the small, amused smile that tugged on her lips, partially serious as she answered him. “A little bit.”
Dejectedly, he hung his head and blew a puff of air. “I shouldn’t have done that.”
Tara shook her head, “You're going to be fine.” She corrected herself, “We are,” and playfully nudged Chad.
Sam slowly crept toward the corridor, her ears picking up on muffled thumping sounds that resembled rats running through pipes.
Chad and Tara kept talking in the other room while Sam was investigating the noise. “I think you're beautiful, Tara. You're strong and I like women who can throw a punch.”
Trailing her hand along the walls, Sam had Billy Loomis’s knife out at the ready, on extremely high alert as she neared the source.
“I can't be with you, not now, probably not ever” Tara replied curtly.
He wouldn't drop the subject and it made her uncomfortable. “Maybe if you told me before I met y/n, then it would be different.”
Bingo. Sam’s hand found a small handle in the paneling. She pushed, then pulled and it gave away, revealing a thin, hidden compartment.
“The thing is, I didn't realize how much I wanted you until I saw you with someone else,” Chad admitted, taking a tentative peek at her.
He was speaking from the bottom of his heart, but still, Tara didn't love him like she loved you.
It was dark, but Sam could see the silhouette of a person and glistening eyes. “Y/n.” she breathed softly; her heart broke at the condition you were in.
There you were. Alive, held captive but not dead.
She flipped the knife so the blade was facing the floor, and crouched down.
“Tara is here with me. We're going to get you out of here, okay?” She fumbled with the duct tape on your wrists, glancing at your tear-stricken face. “She'll be so, so happy to see you.”
Your eyes brightened, but what you were attempting to say was unintelligible because your mouth was duct-taped as well.
You were happy though, that much Sam could tell.
A scream echoed in the corridor. It was Tara’s.
Sam’s eyes snapped to yours and reluctance showed on her features. She began to pull away, even though she was not finished setting you free.
“Sam.” You looked at her expectantly.
She was reminded of that time in Woodsboro when Tara was locked in that closet and she had to decide whether or not she should set her sister free.
Guilt tugged on Sam’s heart, but she stood up anyway. “Wait here. I'll be back, I promise.”
You began to shout muffled objections. The secret door was shut back in place, leaving you to stew in your thoughts and emotions once more.
Sam went to find her sister, but she didn't have to go far because Tara ran into her, hyperventilating. “They got Chad! They got him! Two of them.”
Sam gripped Tara’s arms and waited until she calmed down to tell her what she'd discovered. “I found Y/n!”
“What? Where is he?” Tara attempted to search for you, but Sam kept her still.
“Not now. He's safe.” Sam brushed back a strand of hair from her sister’s eyes, moving her hands to hold both sides of her face. “Hey, let’s finish this okay? Then we can go home.”
Tara nodded and allowed Sam to guide her to the room where the mannequins and Ghostface memorabilia were.
It was time for Act 3.
Seconds turned into minutes, and minutes morphed into hours. You were just sitting there, waiting, in the cramped space when the door slid open again.
Sam stared down at you, sporting a familiar, black cloak that you had witnessed Ghostface wearing. “Did you see who took you?”
A slow nod from you.
Was it Ethan or Quinn?” She was digging for information about the culprit of your kidnapping; you shook your head at both of the names mentioned.
“Detective Bailey. Old cop guy with grey hair.” Your confused expression shifted into a knowing one.
Sam smirked, an evil glint in her eyes. “Be right back.”
She slid the door closed; you were enclosed in the secret compartment again.
Sam tore the mask off her face and let it sit on her head. She turned out of the center stage, walked through the projector curtains, and joined Tara on the steps.
“Thank you for letting me go.” Tara’s face was stained with black splotches, and she looked the same as Sam did—A total mess.
They had just finished killing a family–Richie’s family, in fact. Quinn, Ethan, and fucking Detective Bailey were all relatives of his.
Detective Bailey was the only one left alive for their final act. It was a team effort; Tara called him over the phone pretending to be Ghostface.
Sam wore the costume, stealthily approached that dipshit, and stabbed him until he couldn't scream anymore.
Of course, she did stab him in the eye as a preventative measure. He deserved a worse fate than death, but he also didn't deserve a second chance to torment her family. Yes, that included you too.
Sam smiled, and this one did reach her eyes, resting her head on her arm. “I knew you could take care of yourself.”
Tara’s smile faltered and her gaze dropped to her shoes.
“I want to be in your life though,” Sam added after a beat of silence. Tara made eye contact with her sister, her expression softening. “But only as much as you want me to.”
“I want you to be in my life.” Tara declared with complete honesty, squashing Sam’s doubts. “And y/n, Mindy,” Her voice wavered at the next name, “Chad.”
Sam reached over and placed a hand on Tara’s knee. She was sympathetic to her sister’s feelings.
They both have dealt with this specific trauma two times, too many.
Tara chuckled and a wide grin formed on her face. Sam giggled with her, just glad to laugh after the day they had.
A loud bang! and a clatter startled the sisters, causing them to jump up apprehensively.
You stumbled into the room with a bruised eye, and a bleeding cut above the eyebrow of your other eye. Your face was roughed up as if you had been in a horrible fistfight.
There was a long and wide, jagged, exposed gash that went across your nose, under your left eye and stopped at your earlobe.
Your feet were taped together and the tape on your hands had been cut.
“You still don't understand, Tara!” Ethan screamed, veins exuded out of his neck and his eyes bulged. “In the sequel, the perfect boyfriend died.”
“Quinn.” Detective Bailey demanded. “Go fetch, y/n. We have a crime scene to stage.”
“On it!” Quinn strode past the sisters and turned into the corridor that led to the other rooms of the theatre, disappearing from view.
Sam looked up through hooded eyes into the soulless ones of Detective Bailey. “Wow. You and Richie have similar plans.”
He was aiming a gun at her and tilted his head, confusion etched on his face. “What are you talking about?”
“Your son took my sister hostage.” There was a faux sweetness behind her tone. Sam was taunting him. “He tried to convince me that Tara was the killer, but guess what? I untied her.”
As if on cue, Quinn exclaimed, “Uh, I can't find him!”
Detective Bailey’s voice boomed as he shouted back, “He can't have gotten far!”
Some things were tossed and slammed around in her search for you. A sharp ‘thwack’ sounded and Quinn cried out.
“I let him go,” Sam smirked.
Tara ran and wrapped her arms around you in a bone-crushing hug, nearly knocking you off your feet, a choked sob escaped from her.
Pulling away to inspect you, she reached out and peeled the tape from your lips. “Tara.” You croaked.
Your throat felt like sandpaper due to a lack of water and food, and your lips were cracked.
“Y/n,” Tara mumbled softly, tears welling up in her eyes. She brought her hand around the nape of your neck and drew you in for a kiss.
You succumbed to the warm sensation of her lips on yours and deepened the kiss. The suffering you had endured was washing away now that your girl was in your arms.
Tara had that power; she always knew how to make your pain forgettable when you were with her.
You parted for air, already missing her lips on yours.
You also had something really important to say and it couldn't wait, “Tara, I want to undo the breakup.”
Tara beamed at you and grinned ear-to-ear. Teasingly, she asked, “We broke up?”
Her face glowed with a certain happiness that was only expressed in your presence.
You rolled your eyes, and the small smile on your lips made it obvious that you were humoring her. “Come here.”
You lured her in for a second kiss and your lips nearly connected with hers, but a loud, animalistic growl forced you and Tara to spring apart in fear.
Ethan Landry was still alive. He had a bloody maw and roared like a beast, rushing, aiming for all three of you with a knife raised.
It was so unexpected and too fast for any of you to formulate a defensive strategy. You, Sam, and Tara could only gape at Ethan’s grotesque appearance.
Something creaked, and in the blink of an eye, the tv that killed Stu Macher tipped over and claimed Ethan Landry as its new victim.
Kirby popped out from behind the display where the TV used to be. Like the rest of you survivors, she was in terrible shape.
She smiled, “Saw that in a scary movie once.”
You breathed a sigh of relief and pulled Tara close to you, a smile returning to your face.
Sam moved closer to you and Tara, looking proud of you two. She placed her hand on your back, between your shoulder blades, and gave you a one-armed hug.
You leaned into her embrace and rested your chin on her shoulder. It was nice of her to do that, and you felt like crying because, from the moment you started dating Tara, you hoped to bond with her sister.
Sam didn't let you go right away; she was dragging out the hug for as long as possible, and it's what you needed. “How would you feel about going out on a double date? You and Tara, Me and Danny—my neighbor—who I've been seeing.”
Her voice was smooth and inviting, even if you considered saying no, it would've been hard to refuse. “I'd love that, Sam.”
She broke off the hug to gauge whether you were being serious or otherwise. “Yeah?”
“Absolutely.” You had a grin on your face.
“Already talking about me behind my back?” Tara chimed in, staring at you with an eyebrow raised, and suppressing a smile.
“Aww, is my lovebug feeling lonely?” You did a silly, comical impression with your voice and pulled her flush to your hip, tenderly squeezing her shoulder.
“I can't stand you.” You and Sam laughed together at Tara’s empty insult.
Tara protested and elbowed you in the ribs, but soon, she was laughing as well.
“Oh, man.” When the laughter died down, you groaned and touched your forehead, dangerously on the verge of fainting or spilling out your guts. “I need to go to the hospital.”
Two weeks have passed.
Tara strutted through a fitness gym, wearing sunglasses and holding a coffee. All she could hear were misogynistic, sweaty men grunting and using the exercise equipment.
“Come on! Come on!”
Two men were practicing boxing. One man was holding up mitts, acting as a target dummy, and the other was throwing punches.
Tara approached them, removing her glasses. “Y/n.”
You stopped mid-punch, saw who called your name, and disengaged from your boxing stance. “Babe, hey!”
You walked to her with open arms and pulled her into a big, sweaty hug. “We were just finishing up.”
Danny was the man who you were sparring with. He peeled off the gloves and tucked them under his arm, sporting a toothy grin.
“I got you coffee.” Tara offered you the to-go cup when you pulled away.
You took the coffee off her hands. “Oh, sweet. Decaf?”
“Uh huh, only the best for my beau.” She smiled while watching you chug the hot beverage.
“Is Sam ready?” Danny asked, joining you and Tara.
“Yeah,” Tara pointed her thumb at the entrance of the gym. “She’s waiting outside.”
You finished drinking the coffee and lowered the cup in your hands. “How is Chad, by the way?”
Tara perked up when you asked; she seemed excited to talk about him. “He’s recovering pretty fast. It's impressive, according to his doctor. He’ll be out in a couple of weeks.”
“That’s good to hear!” You said cheerily with a hint of sarcasm. “I still need to fight him for trying to kiss you.”
Your girlfriend released a small, airy laugh. “As much as I would love to see both of you acting like idiots, fighting is unnecessary. He’s already dealing with my rejection.”
“I imagine that's gotta hurt.” Danny chortled while glancing at you.
“Yeah, imagine.” You smirked, refraining from laughing when Danny gave you a knowing look.
Tara shook her head and she didn't bother to hide her signature eye roll. “I'm hating this... bromance or whatever this is between the two of you.”
You chuckled. Danny pressed his hand to his chest and faked a hurt expression. “Ouch, Sam’s little sis.”
“Speaking of, I wouldn't want to keep Sam waiting.” You slung each of your arms around Danny and Tara and propelled them forward. “Let's go eat!”
Both of them complained while you used their necks as props as you reached the doors to exit, and Tara smacked you until she was freed from your arm.
You met up with Sam, who was standing right outside the gym, and the four of you walked on the sidewalks of New York to a nice, fancy restaurant.
You and Tara were seated together at a table with Sam and Danny, surrounded by great food, jokes, laughter, and a warm ambiance.
You clinked your alcoholic drink against theirs and chatted the night away.
Ghostface? Stab series? They didn't cross your mind once.

Could do a tara carpenter x fem reader
the core 4 finds a lost dog near Tara and Sam’s place
*Everyone but Mindy is against the idea keeping the dog because this dog is massive and it’s a mastiff breed*
They put found dogs flyers and post it on social media see if this dog belong to anyone and are just waiting to see if they the owner comes and are taking care of the dog
*Poor tara who drew the short straw and she has the task of walking the dog and got dragged all across the park*
Mindy who witness the whole thing recorded the whole thing
*you could hear her laughter in video and tara yelling don’t just stand there🤬!!!! HELP-“ before falling into the lake*
Everyone was about to ask what happen seeing her completely drench and leaves in her hair but she like “😤😑 don’t ask” while Mindy was in the floor dying of laughter and show them the video
But for some reason this dog is strangely attach to Tara and choosing to stay by her side. In a cute moment imagine tara having a nightmare then the dog trying to show comfort to her. And she sleep hugging his head🥺. They all start warming up to the dog*
That until a girl appears with a flyer and is like “hi I believe you found my dog” and tara is flustered at seeing this girl
Fast forward when Ghostface show up ay tara and Sam apartment *it backfires because they werent expecting a dog nor r to be there. R just look at her dog “sic them boy” 👹😈
so in a way, everyone who isn’t ghostface survives. Anika deserve to live damn it!!!!Everyone looking at the dog and praising him because he’s a good boy 🐶
In my head I can imagine Quinn calling Ethan “😨😨😨abort mission!!!!! I repeat abort mission!!!!!!”
*Because their dad got badly mauled by the dog and they don’t want to risk getting caught without a plan but yk dogs are a great judge of character and can sense a bad person and he never like Ethan, Quinn or her dad, always snarling and nipping at them*
R would even question if Quinn was truly dead because her dog kept growling at her when they put her in a body bag. Like how the hell didn’t you notice ghostface in your room? She would trust her dogs more than people. They have a closer bond with r
In my mind I was thinking “it’s bad enough/embarrassing that ghostface getting beaten/outsmarted by the main protagonists, imagine them being defeated by a dog” and this was inspired by the Spider-Man miles morales game. In the game there a side quest and if you complete it you can fight crime with a cat as a sidekick and the bad guy getting his ass handle by Spider-Man then you see a cat come out of his backpack. Imagine that same guy in jail and everyone asking how you got beaten by Spider-Man and question you why you have claw marks on your face 👀👀
That’s my dog

Tumblr media
“Naww, look at him. He’s so cute” Mindy yelled as she saw a dog sitting in front of Sams and Tara’s apartment. The dogs ears perked as soon as he heard the voice talking to him, looking at the group of four.
“That dog is giant” Chad said taking a small step back causing Tara to laugh. Sam kept quiet for a moment while Mindy decided to walk up to the dog, much to the groups dismay. There were several calls for her to stop but she obviously didn’t.
“Look guys, he’s somebodies. He has a collar but the tag is broken. We should take him in” she said as she crouched down in front of the dog to be eye level with him.
“Mindy, no. Who knows what he’s capable of and if somebody owns him they can’t find him in our apartment” Sam argued while Tara made her way to look around the corner, trying to see if there was somebody looking for a dog. The moment Tara walked past the corner forward the corner tho dog stood up and followed her. A relieved sigh left Chad and Sam as they thought that he was going to leave. But instead, he stood behind Tara, scaring the poor girl when she turned around.
“Sam, there’s a storm tonight. We can’t leave him outside! Come on have a heart” Mindy argued as she watched the dog look up at Tara. There was a moment of silence before Sam nodded, a small one but a nod nonetheless. A squeal left Mindy as she clapped and called the dog over who happily strutted next to her, following her upstairs into the apartment. “Ok, maybe he’s a bit big for the apartment but you know” Mindy grinned sheepishly as the dog accidentally threw down some books.
“Mindy, Tara, you guys upload some pics online, on social media, maybe somebody recognizes him while Chad and I print out some flyers and hang them up around here. Make sure he doesn’t destroy anything” Sam ordered after taking some pictures of the dog, including his collar and the half of the tag that was still attached. Uploading pictures takes way less time then printing flyers and hanging them up, so Mindy and Tara were on dog duty. Which, to be honest, wasn’t as hard as they thought it’d be, the dog was well trained and nice.
Around evening he started to scratch on the front door, whining while doing so. After a bit of a discussion the group decided that the dog had to go outside and that whoever drew the shortest stick would have to take him.
“Come on guys, this is Ridiculous. Mindy wanted us to take him in, so she should have to go with him!” Tara complained after it turned out that she lost. The dog was massive and while he looked nice and seemed to be friendly she was sure that he wouldn’t even feel her holding the leash.
“You lost Tara, fair and square. But due to the fact that I’m the nicest person ever, I will come down with you” the brunette explained, a proud smile on her face as she opened the door for Tara. The first few minutes were fine, the dog immediately sniffed the side of the building to pee. “Let’s go to the park a bit” Mindy said and took off.
It took one second of Tara being distracted for the dog to see something an start running towards it growling. Even when Tara tried to pull him back with her whole body weight it was useless, he pulled her along. She was stumbling over her own legs, screaming at the dog and Mindy to do anything. But Mindy was only laughing and, unknown to Tara, filming the whole thing.
“HEY!HEY NOOO” the small brunette screamed when she saw a small pond in front of her, small enough for the dog to jump over it but for her? It took one last step for her to land face forward in the water, letting go of the belt they used as a leash when she touched the ground underneath the water. She could still hear Mindy wheezing and the dog barking as she stood up, water dripping from everywhere. The moment she stood the dog was back at her side nuzzling his head into her wet hand.
“You’re an idiot, we Are going back Home” she scolded the dog as she picked up the “leash” again pulling him past her friend, glaring at her. “And you, you’re the worst” she growled as she walked past her, hitting her shoulder and walking back to the apartment.
Even Sam and Chad couldn’t hide their laughter when they saw a completely dripping Tara walk into the room, unclipping the belt and walking towards her bathroom. Even without the leash the dog quickly followed Tara, never leaving her sight. Save to say that Tara wasn’t really in the mood to socialize anymore and it was rather late anyway, so she decided to settle on the bed with a book. She was silently enjoying her book when suddenly the other half of her bed dipped down, the dog climbing on top, taking up so much space that she nearly fell of the edge.
“Bro, I think you’ve got something twisted. Get off the bed” she scolded him lightly pointing at the ground. The dog just happily panted when she tried to push him off, barely scootching away. There was no point in trying to pick him up so she decided to settle on the small part of the bed that he hasn’t conquered yet, turning off the lights to sleep.
His panting annoyed her, he smelled like dog and he was constantly watching her which made it hard for her to fall asleep but at one point the tiredness of the day did get her and she fell asleep facing the dog.
The next day when she woke up the dog was in front of her, curled up leaning on her stomach. He was still sleeping until she moved to get out of bed, he was immediately following her. Everything was fine until Quinn came to close to Tara making him fletch his teeth and bark causing the redhead to jump away and Tara to pull him away.
There was a bit of silence but in the end everybody decided that it was probably just a coincidence and kept doing whatever they were doing. Anika had brought over some food, a leash and some toys as they didn’t know how long the dog would stay.
It was afternoon when everybody, except Quinn and Ethan had warmed up to the dog, they called him Freddy after Freddy Krueger, which was Mindys idea. The group was sitting on the couch watching TV, Freddy sat on Tara’s feet with his head on sams leg who scratched his head. It was nice, Sam and Tara walked the last round with him at night, he stopped pulling the leash and didn’t even move away from the two.
At night time he slept with Tara again but this time he decided to settle in front of the bed. The brunette fell asleep with one of her arms out of the bed to scratch the giant dog. Sometime during the night she started to turn and twist, a whimper leaving her mouth making Freddy wake up. He quickly climbed onto the bed with his first two feet and nudged her until she woke up. Tears were streaming down her face and her breathing was quick and shallow. While she tried to calm herself down Freddy laid his head onto her stomach, licking her hand closest to him, trying his best to comfort her. A small smile came onto her lips as she rolled onto her side and hugged his head, leaving a kiss on top as she fell back asleep.
The next morning she woke up to somebody hammering on her front door. “T, wake up. Somebody is coming for the dog” Sam called out, knocking one last time before she heard Tara grumble. The moment she stepped out of her room, finally dressed and ready for the day, there was a knock on the door. Freddy immediately ran to the door, his tail waggling from left to right as if he knew who was on the other side.
“Hi, I believe you found my dog” you said as soon as the door opened. The mastiff quickly running to you, nearly throwing you over when he body checked you, making you giggle. Tara just stared at you for a moment, her cheeks coated in a light blush before she looked down at her feet to hide it.
“uhm, yeah. We found him two days ago, he sat in front of our apartment and due to the storm we didn’t wanna leave him outside” she explained, smiling at the sight in front of her before taking a deep breath. “Do you wanna come inside for a bit?” She asked, already taking a step further away so you could see into the apartment.
You gave her a nod and made your way into the apartment. “Come on Dook” you called out to the dog who was still standing on the other side of the door. He quickly made his way towards you.
“Dook?” Tara asked as you settled down on the couch, the dog between you two. You chuckled lightly as you petted his head before turning to her.
“Well, yeah. The Babadook is my favorite horror film but I didn’t wanna call him Babadook, that would have freaked me out on the long run so I decided to call him Dook. It’s weird I know” you mumbled the last part as you uncomfortably scratched the back of your neck but the pretty girl next to you only chuckled before turning further to you.
“No, it’s actually pretty awesome. The Babadook is such a great movie and the name Dook is pretty cute actually” Tara said smiling at you.
“Yo, I’m Mindy and that’s my twin brother Chad” the brunette introduced, waving at you.
“Hey, I’m y/n and this is Dook but you’ve already met him huh” you grinned as you waved back.
“How did he get lost anyway?” Sam, who you’ve already met, asked as she sat on an armchair next to the couch.
“My stupid brother was supposed to look after him while I was out of state but he lost him 5 hours after I’ve been gone and didn’t tell me” you explained, an annoyed look on your face. They giggled at your eye roll before taking off.
After a small while you’ve decided to go too, much work to do just like emptying your suitcase from your trip. “It was really nice to meet you, you are a great person. And thanks again for looking after Dook” you bid as a goodbye, a smile grazing your features as you looked at Tara.
“Well, If you ever wanna come over and watch the Babadook together, I wouldn’t say no” she smiled at you and took your hand in hers, writing her number on your hand.
“Naww, Tara is in loooovvveeee” Mindy sang from the kitchen.
Ever since then you and Tara have been inseparable. Everywhere the core four was you were too, even at that frat party and the dinner later. Sam trusted you and Dook, Mindy and Chad thought you were pretty cool, Anika loved your style and taste, Ethan didn’t like you because he was scared of the dog and Quinn was constantly flirting with you.
“I knew you were sleeping with cute boy” Tara laughed out, leaning on your shoulder. A giggle leaving you too as you watched the group, Dook laying on your and Tara’s feet. Just as Sam was about to say something all your phones dinged, Dook suddenly jumping up.
“Shit” Sam cursed out, all of you jumping up. It wasn’t long ago that the siblings told you about what had happened to them in their hometown. Everybody, except Tara ran to get further away from the door, so you quickly grabbed her and pulled her to you. Dook standing in front of you barking and snarling at the door.
“Get out of here” you screamed at them, trying to push them away but before anyone could move the door opened and a dead Quinn fell on top of Anika throwing her to the ground. Dook, just as he was trained, stood beside you, barking at the intruder but not moving. You were frozen for a moment, overwhelmed with the situation until you heard Anika groan and Tara call your name. “Dook, sic them boy” you looked down at the dog who immediately took off attacking the costumed person who was currently trying to Stab Anika. The 32” tall dog jumped against him throwing him off of her, Sam immediately pulling her away and pushing her into Mindys arms.
By now Dook had pushed the intruder into the corner furthers away, Chad and Tara were gone while Sam and Mindy helped Anika into the bedroom, where Danny was waiting for them with a ladder. You knew that you had to fight him off until the police showed up because you wouldn’t take the ladder and leave dook behind.
You were slowly backing up into the bedroom, “Dook, attack”. The moment the words left your mouth he didn’t just bark anymore but was about to charge at him full speed, making the ghostface run outside forward the police sirens. So you called him back to you, deciding to not put him into further danger. You sat on the ground with him, petting his head and kissing the top of his head as you praised him, thankful that nothing had happened to him.
“Are you alright?” You quickly asked Tara when you came outside, the dog running to her and licking her hand.
“Yeah, I’m good. I’m sorry I left you up there, I-I” she started to stutter, her eyes becoming glossy as she looked around. You decided to interrupt her.
“Hey, it’s alright. I told you to go, after all I had Dook. It’s okay, we’ll get thru this. We are here for you” you told her as you hugged her, her head resting on your chest, tears leaking through your shirt making your heart break. An elder man came into sight making Tara pull away and excuse herself, Dook snarling at him. “Dook, psst” you scolded and made him come along as you went to talk to Sam.
“Sam, can we talk for a second?” You asked, pulling her away from Danny. It’s not that you didn’t like him or didn’t trust him but you didn’t wanna Worry anybody if not necessary. “I think it has to be someone we know, someone I know too” Sam thought for a moment being totally quiet.
“What are you on about y/n?” She asked slightly annoyed and scared, making you sigh.
“Dook was quiet the whole time, if somebody came in or had already been inside he would have barked or something but he didn’t. Which means he knew whoever was inside“ the explanation made sense and it made sams stomach hurt too. She had prayed that this wasn’t going to happen again, that her sister could now lead a normal life.
“I hate the fact that what you just said made sense” she groaned, looking around to check her environment. You just gave her a tight lipped smile and a pat on the arm. It was hard to comfort Sam, at least as a human, because as soon as Dook stood in front of her nudging her hand she knelt down and patted him, thanking him for Saving them.
You left the mastiff with Sam as you made your way to Tara, Mindy, Anika and Chad. The boy stood infront of his sister, eyes sad as he watched her taped arm. The girls other arm was wrapped around her girlfriend who was also patched up, a lot more than Mindy. You wished you could go up to that like Tara, the weird tension between you two kills you and the fact that there seemed to be some kind of tension with Chad too made it even weirder. So instead of standing between them you settled down between Anika’s legs, she had become a great friend of yours, maybe even your best. You guys were extremely comfortable with each other and could tell the other everything, she knew of your feelings for Tara and you knew of her fear of abandonment. When you settled down, Anika rested her arms on top of your shoulders, keeping you close trying to give both of you some comfort.
Just as you settled down, Ethan came around the corner confused about what had happened. “You” Chad screamed taking by the collar and throwing him against another ambulance. “Where the fuck were you? You’re not with us and suddenly my sister almost dies” he screamed, lifting him away from the car just to push him against it again.
“Chad, I had Econ, you know that. You can ask all the other students” the boy pleaded, kinda stuttering. But he didn’t struggle against chads hold, not that it’d do anything anyway. You decided to step in, not because you were a hundred percent convinced that Ethan was innocent but because this wouldn’t lead to anything.
“Come on, let him go. Econ would be a stupid excuse to use, he wouldn’t be able to get everybody to lie for him so let him go Chad” you explained, laying a hand on his shoulder to kind of push him back a bit. He didn’t immediately let him go but when you squeezed his shoulder he folded and let the boy down, disappearing to his sister. The moment you stepped closer to the boy Dook was at your side, snarling at him almost making you chuckle at the way the boy backed up. “I hope you learned a lot at Econ”.
*later that night*
“How didn’t you even kill one fucking person?” Wayne screamed at his kids, the vein on his forehead popping out. He kept walking back and forth as he scolded them.
“How was I supposed to know that y/n and the dog would be there? That thing would have killed me if I would have stepped closer” Ethan whined, holding his arm where Dook had bitten him. He had always been afraid of that monster.
“Ethan is right dad, that dog is massive and dangerous” Quinn said trying to support her brother. Her hair wet from the shower to get rid of all the fake blood she was covered in.
“Well we need a new plan” he mumbled.
———————————————————————————
“Y/n, Anika, this is Gale and this is Kirby” Sam introduced you. Kirby was closest to you so you shook her hand first before going to Gale but stopping shortly before your hands touch.
“Uff, that’s one hell of a bruise, what did ya do?” You asked pointing to her left side under the eye. You couldn’t help but be suspicious of somebody you didn’t know. Especially with the way Dook stood in front of you instead of how he normally stood next to you.
She sighed and looked at Tara before speaking up. “Tara hit me because I did something I told them I wouldn’t do” she explained making your mouth open in shock. You turned to Tara with your mouth still open.
“You did that?” You asked her still shocked with your eyebrows raised. She timidly nodded at you making you grin and raise your hand for a high five before wrapping your arm around her shoulder and pulling her into you. “Damn girl, nicely done” you told her, clearly proud of the fact that she was protecting herself.
Seeing that made Sam smile too, her head slightly turned to the side as she watched you two. Her sister was happily giggling into your chest, her cheeks slightly red and her eyes lit up while you grinned down at her, your eyes were full with love and admiration. As a bigger sister, she was happy that you could protect her and loved the fact that she could protect herself.
When everybody started to follow Gale to whatever she wanted to show you, you fell behind due to the fact that Dook was still a dog, wanting to mark like every corner. As soon as Tara noticed she left Chad and fell behind too, walking with you in silence. Everybody was already going inside when you two rounded the corner. “You alright?” You asked her as she stood in front of the door, suddenly not moving anymore.
“Yeah, I’m just, I don’t know” she mumbled out looking at her feet as her hands messed with the fabric of her shirt. She looked even smaller than normal.
“It’s going to be okay, I’m here for you” you told her with a comforting smile before you gave her a nod as a start sign. Just as you were about to go inside a hand slid down your arm into the pocket of your trouser where it found yours making you tense for a second. You pulled both of your hands out of the pocket and intertwined them before carefully pulling her along. The place was full of old ghost face things, masks, robes, a TV and more. Tara suddenly stopped at one Vitrine, her mood dropping before her hand suddenly let go of yours.
“I-I need a second” she mumbled and walked off towards Sam. You heard them fight before Tara stormed off, alone. “Dookie, follow Tara. Go” you told the dog who ran off to follow her making you smile a bit. You felt more comfortable when somebody was there to protect her and when you saw a Kirby follow her too you decided to keep roaming the place, finding Mindy and Anika.
After some time and some explanation from Mindy, Kirby found you. “You should go to Tara” she told you with a tight lipped smile. You were about to go when she spoke up again, “very cute dog by the way” you grinned at her before walking off to find Tara.
The moment you turned the corner she was on you, her arms wrapped around your neck as she stood on her tippy toes and pressed her lips against yours. You needed a second and even though you wanted to kiss her back with every bit you carefully pushed her away. She immediately started to stutter when her lips detached from yours. “I’m sorry, it’s just- this is a hard time for you and I don’t want you to regret anything” you told her as your hands caressed her waist in a comforting manner.
She smiled at you, her hands playing with the baby hair at the back of your neck. “I won’t. Come on, I still gotta tell you something” her hand slipped in yours as she pulled you to sit down on a step and then she told you about Amber. About how they were always flirting and how there was this tension that was between you too, and how she then killed her friends and how she sometimes thinks that if she had made a move Amber maybe wouldn’t have went crazy and that she wouldn’t have lost her best friend. She didn’t wanna make the same mistake again and she didn’t wanna lose somebody because she was scared of living. “Kirby opened my eyes. Just because Amber was crazy doesn’t mean you are crazy too right? We can live a happy life together and love each other even though the thing with Amber fucked me up right?” Her eyes were teary which made your heart break.
“We will live the happiest lives ever, after we caught that motherfucker” you said making her giggle. You stood up and pulled her with you to go with the others but not before kissing her. Your heart exploding at the feeling of her lips on yours, only to be interrupted by Dook who seemed to be jealous as he went between you two. Both of you laughed before going back to the group, hand in hand with Dook in front of you. Sam looked at your hands before glaring at you, hiding her small smile.
“So what to we have on these people?” Kirby asked looking into the group, eyes fixated on Sam.
“Y/n had a point. Dook didn’t bark which means we knew whoever was inside” you gave everybody a tight lipped smile before deciding to add something.
“I have a really stupid thing, or maybe it isn’t stupid, I don’t know. But Dook constantly barked at the body bag which made me suspicious. He wouldn’t just bark at a dead person and I mean, there wasn’t even a scream, who doesn’t notice ghost face in your room?” You rambled on until Chad decided to interrupt you.
“So you guess what? That Quinn is still alive and a part of the whole thing?” He chuckled slightly clearly not believing you. You rolled your eyes looking at Tara for help.
“Well, I mean that does sound very unrealistic. I’m sorry but how would that even work?” She was apologetic about not being on your side, Ethan who you hadn’t noticed until now nodding along with what she said. You rolled your eyes again looking at Kirby who just shrugged.
“Whatever. Do we have any other thoughts, ideas?” You asked a tad annoyed, parting from Tara to follow Dook around.
“I think we should do the tracking the call thing” one of them suggested, a discussion immediately breaking loose. You just watched your dog sniff around, focusing on one of the masks that seemed to have fallen down hoping that he’d pick up on something.
The next time ghostface attacked was when they did the call thing but there was nothing you could do, he was too far gone. Gale barely surviving. It hurt Tara a lot, she was clinging to you like a koala, whispering how sorry she was that you were in this, that she’d never forgive herself if you got hurt. You just pressed her head into you in a comforting manner, rubbing her back and letting her cry.
You were also heavily against the idea of them playing bait but here you were in the weird ass old cinema kinda thing. “So y/n, I got a K9 kennel for Dook” Kirby told you which was a great thing even though it sounded weird. But you were scared that they’d do something to him and with a K9 kennel you could get him when you needed him but they wouldn’t get inside to hurt him in case they found him.
“Thank you so much, I’ll put him in and then come back” you told them petting your leg for him to follow, Tara quickly walking up next to you to follow you. You wrapped your arm around her shoulder as you walked to the hidden place.
“I feel sorry putting him in that thing, he’s always such a good boy” the smaller brunette mumbled as she crouched down to cuddle him, wrapping her arms around his head. Your heart was exploding from the cuteness of the scene no matter how shitty the actual situation was.
“I know me too. But at least we know that he’s gonna be safe isn’t that right love?” You said pointing at the kennel making him go inside and sit down. “Good boy, I love you and I’ll get you soon” you smiled at Tara before taking her hand and walking around the building.
“If something happens tonight, I want to thank you for finding dook and taking care of him and taking me in and showing me how it feels to really be with someone” you told her as you pulled her closer to kiss her.
Suddenly someone appeared behind her trying to stab her making you push her out of the way. You punched their face before grabbing her and running towards the main room, running past a stabbed Chad. “Shit Chad” Tara screamed and stopped running to bend down to him.
“T, we cant Save him if we die ourselves. Let’s go, we need to find Sam and figure out where Mindy is” the mentioning of Sam did it for her making her stand up and keep running for you. In this moment you were happy that Anika was too hurt to come along, one person less to be scared about. When you stopped in the main hall Sam stood there completely shocked and out of breath.
“Oh god, there you are I was looking for you. Wayne called me, he told me that Kirby went crazy and got fired. He believes that she’s ghostface” she explained ushering the two of you closer to her. “Mindy got stabbed on the way here, in the subway. I-I don’t know where Chad is” she added making Tara flinch at the mentioning of her friend.
“He got stabbed, we left him we couldn’t do anything. It’s better if they think he’s dead” you told her.
The next things were too quick for you to comprehend. Kirby appeared and was suddenly knocked out by someone in a ghost face costume, and then another one appearing. Turned out they were Wayne and Ethan, father and son. And then, a third one appeared. A scared ‘Mindy?’ Leaving Sams mouth, tears welling up in Tara’s and you were tensing. But then the mask was pulled of and revealed Quinn making you jump and fist bump the air.
“I fucking told you. I told you she wasn’t fucking dead motherfuker” you then quickly turned quiet again, realizing that this wasn’t the right moment. And then Wayne started talking about something with their past and weird ass stuff, you kinda zoned out trying to find a way out while protecting Tara. At least until you hear a certain name.
“And then there was Dook, he was rather easy to take care of after you put him in a kennel where he couldn’t do anything to us” Wayne said, Ethan and Quinn giggling making you even madder. They started to circle the three of you, Tara and Sam grabbing a stone. Sam quickly turned around signaling you to run and look for your dog once there was an opportunity and you did. They distracted them long enough for you to run off to where dook was hidden, constantly clicking the button that was supposed to release him but nothing. He was nowhere to be seen making you panic.
When you arrived at the kennel he was laying on his side, eyes closed and the kennel still closed. You pried the door open, once you got it open you crawled inside, tears already spreading in your eyes. “Dook?” You mumbled just for him to open his eyes and stand up, licking you across the face. “Not cool dude, i thought you were dead” and then your eyes fell to some kind of dog treat that you didn’t put there. Picking it up to smell it you quickly figured out that there was something wrong with it. “You’re such a smart boy” you cuddled him for a moment before remembering why you were even here.
When you came back to the siblings Sam was upstairs, holding Tara who was hanging over the upper part of the theater, Ethan under her fumbling around with a knife. “I’ve always wanted to stick something in you Tara” he said making you gag and more aggressive than you already were.
You saw Quinn and Wayne coming for Sam upstairs, “Dook, go protect Sam” you told the dog and got yourself ready to tackle Ethan just in case Tara needed the help.
“Sam, you have to let me go” Tara’s voice was desperate making Sam sigh and do let go of her, she fell and landed in his arms. She grinned as she stuck the knife into his throat pulling it down and god she looked good. She landed on her feet when he fell over and made her way towards your open arms.
Upstairs Sam shot Quinn in the head and then tried to shoot Wayne just for the gun to be empty. In that moment Dook jumped on his back knocking him to the ground, giving Sam the opportunity to kick him in the face and knocking him out. She came back down with the dog next to her. “I have a plan” she told you and quickly explained what you were supposed to do while scratching Dooks back, Tara scratching his head.
You were just a back up and a protection in sams plan, so you stood behind Tara with Dook, feeding him some treats. “What’s your favorite scary movie?” She said into the phone, holding the voice changer in front of it, a grin spreading across your face. She kept talking for a bit until you heard a scream through the phone which was when she hung up. “God, I just wanna go home” she mumbled as she leaned against you waiting for Sam to get you two.
Sam and Tara sat on the steps while you stood a bit further away to give them their privacy. They talked while you sat on the ground with Dook in your lap, zooming out until Sam called out for you. “If you hurt her I’ll hurt you. Even worse than I hurt Wayne” you gave her an upside down smile, and an awkward okay before Tara came running towards you making Dook and you jump up. She jumped into your arms and kissed you making you twirl her around.
That night you laid in Tara’s bed, cuddled up with Dook next to your legs. You wrapped your arm around her waist and pulled her even deeper into you. “Thank you for everything y/n, you’ve been here for us. You and Dook, you’ve been protecting us as if we are your family. I’ve always wanted somebody like you” she mumbled into your chest making you smile.
“Dook and I will never let anyone hurt you or your family. Tomorrow we will pick up Mindy and Anika and then we will visit Chad, Gale and Kirby. Now, stop talking so we can watch the movie” you grinned as you pressed play on the Babadook before pressing soft kisses on her lips.
It may have been to early to say I love you but god, you loved that woman more than anything. You loved her just as much as you loved Dook.
So this is like the longest thing I’ve ever written and I’m not sure I like it. But I took forever to write and I hope you guys enjoy it.

Warnings: strong language, drinking alcohol, self-harm attempt, scars, probably spelling mistakes don’t come after me😭
I grab a bottle of vodka and walk into my room shutting the door sniffling. I open the bottle and take a big chug. My phone has been going off for hours. Mostly from my best friend conrad. He’s always worried about the most stupidest things. But this time, he probably should be worried. I look at my phone and open the texts from conrad.
Yn why the hell are you not answering your phone. Answer I’m worried about you. Please.
I sigh and put down my phone not texting him back just leaving him on read. An hour later and I’m really drunk and I’m sitting on my floor crying. As I wipe my eyes sniffling, I look at my cabinet beside my bed. I walk over to the cabinet and open the drawer. As I dug through the stuff in the drawer I found my razor. I grab it and sit on the floor bringing the razor to my arm. Just as i was about to slide it down my door opens making my head snap up. Conrad stands in the door way looking at the razor in my hand. “Yn what the fuck?!” He says running to me and taking the razor from me and checking my arm. “Con get off of me” I slur while i push him off me.  “Yn what were you doing?!” He says running his hands through his hair now standing over me as he starts to pant. “Nothing leave me alone” i say groggy as i try to stand up almost falling but catching myself. “Are you fucking drunk?!” He asks looking at the empty vodka bottle on the ground. “No Shit Sherlock” I roll my eyes as I stumble around the room looking out the window. “Yn tell me what’s going on.” He says turning my shoulder towards him so I make eye contact. My eyes and bloodshot red and my face is puffy from crying. “What were you doing with the razor.” He says sternly. “What the fuck do you think.” I spit back stumbling away. “Let me see your arm.” He says looking at me with tears in his eyes. “The hell no” I say scoffing. “Yn im not asking.” He says grabbing my arm and rolling up my sleeve. I try to pull my arm away but he’s to strong and I’m to drunk. He looks at my wrist and sees many scars. He slowly loosens his grip on my wrist letting me pull my arm away and roll my sleeve back down. “Yn…” he says softly. “Don’t.” I say softly walking away. “Is there any more.” He asks in a whisper. I stay silent looking at the floor tears in my eyes. “Please show me.” He asks walking towards me as I sit on my bed. “No.” I say quickly. “Yn.” He says sitting down next to me on the bed. “No conrad.” I say wiling my tears away. “Hey” he says reaching to hold my hand. He grabs my hand and I start crying. He then pulls my into his chest as I hug him tightly. I start sobbing and my body shaking. “I’m s-sorry!” I cry into his chest. “Yn it’s okay.” He says playing with my hair. “No it’s not okay!” I cry again. “Your okay. I’ve got you” he says. As he says that I just cry harder into his chest. Soon after what felt like forever I stop crying and I pull away wiping my tears and sniffling. “You should go to sleep. We can talk about this in the morning.” He says rubbing my back. “Can you stay with me?” I ask softly looking at the floor. “Yeah of course. I’ll always stay.” He says smiling. We lay down on the bed he pulls me into his chest, his fingers in my hair. I fall asleep almost immediately. He kisses my head and puts his head leaning on mine and falls asleep.

(tags via @smartichokes) In light of new addition to my Luke & Nico replacement post, I have so much to say about this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Firstly, there is a fanfic in which Kronos switched to Nico as his host halfway through the series. I said fic, Nico went to Tartarus wayyyyy sooner than he should (which is sometime right after TTC I think?), and got captured by Kronos' force. The Titan considered seizing him, so Luke left the Titan Army and returned to the light side.
With that being said, the Nico in said fic didn't become the host, as Luke (and Ethan) got him out before the taking-over.
In another fic, which is about Nico's apotheosis, It is established that Kronos has been taunting Hades to become his host since he is his eldest child, and as a result, Nico would suffer the same fate should he become a God. Nico didn't, of course, but we can see that he can be a great candidate for the position of Kronos’ host Due to the potential he possesses as a child of Hades. I have talked so much about how powerful he is so I suppose this goes without saying.
On the other hand, the child of the prophecy was supposed to be the son of an eldest god, so let's imagine: Nico is a child of an elder god and now is basically One of the main factors that dictate their fate being the central of Kronos' power. Can you imagine the thrill of having both the antagonist and the protagonist a child of the big three, knowing both of them have the power to change the flow of the story? Nico might as well be the child of the prophecy and now he is in the hands of the big bad villain? Who is to say he wouldn't choose to raze the Olympic to the ground? Please, I cannot be the only one seeing the thrill of second-guessing yourself and watching Percy second-guessing himself, page by page.
Back to our AU.
- Absolutely invested in Nico with Kronos' golden eyes.
- Idk if you have noticed, but there are a number of people who would very much be delighted to see Nico joining the Titan Army - so that's a plus. Though we haven't thought as far as putting him directly in Luke's place, this is such a fun territory to play with.
On the other hand, we should have thought about that lmao what's with Minos having done exactly like this in the canon. The King did manipulate Nico in order to accelerate his uprising (tho Rick wasn't unhinged enough to give the Underworld ghosts the benefit of possessing living things except for the eidolons).
Minos failed ofc. But surely the scenario is there. Furthermore, a big reason that hindered Minos was Nico's true control over him, which returned to him upon his enlightenment, thus breaking the fake power balance. But Nico didn't have any control over Kronos. Once he's in, there's no way out. Kronos is on another level compared to Minos. Luke had one way out and that was his death. Who to say the arms of Hades wouldn't be Nico's ending should he succumb to Kronos anw.
- I like the way you mention Percy - because as it turns out, Nico can perfectly mirror Luke regarding how Percy's fatal flaw is portrayed.
Percy's fatal flaw can be summed up in one sentence - "You would sacrifice the world to save a friend". Now, for Luke, it was thanks to the guy's friendly facade at the start that Percy had trouble deeming him as the enemy at first. For Nico, that's a little different. It's not friendship - bc surely Percy didn't consider 'friend' at that time. So what could it be?
The guilt. And the Loyalty from which it sprouted.
But loyalty to what?
To Bianca's promise.
And this varies between perspectives, but I suspect this can be much, much worse than what transpired with Luke if you know how to play it right. Why? Because it weighs on Percy's kindness, his conscience, his loyalty, his morals. It feels heavier. For Luke, it was a personal betrayal. For Nico, it would be a repeated failure that resulted in two deaths.
And I doubt Percy is fond of failures and deaths.
Do you know the saying that we tend to remember bad things rather than good memories? That. Failures stuck with us, whilst success paled in comparison (Not to mention the vague depiction of Percy's lost self-esteem, but I digress).
For Luke, it might be easier: the guy's now an enemy, Percy just had to put him down - straight and clear. For Nico, it's a little bit different. The kid's obviously an enemy - but he's also that: a kid. Whose sister died in front of Percy, whom he blamed still. You can tell that the setup itself might make it harder for Percy to just straight-up consider Nico an enemy - because as it was, Nico could very well be a victim of Percy's broken promise. Percy is half a reason he fell into the hands of Kronos - as you've said.
And Percy isn't evil. He's a protagonist and he's kind. His morals would prevent him from seeing Nico as an enemy that must be taken out - not before trying restlessly to bring the kid back.
- Percy aside, Hades’ support - and all the little benefits gained from Nico's side quest - should also be taken into account. Without Nico, there wouldn't be the Curse of Achilles. Without Nico, there would be no undead army rushing to save them in the last minute in the last Olympian, but rather a flock of unbeatable enemies that would persist like Nico’s grief for Bianca.
I wouldn't say that guarantees their failure but you have to admit that it would make things hella more difficult for them to win this war.
So that is for the advantages. Now let's talk about the drawbacks. Because obviously things wouldn't be so fun if everything goes that smoothly. 👍
The most noticeable difference between Luke and Nico is their ages, and further, their experiences. At the time he was chosen, Luke has lived until his 17, 18 as a demigod, has seen the mythological world more than Nico ever did. He would know better how to navigate the system, which would benefit Kronos more than a clueless Nico. You can argue that Kronos can properly train him as Minos did, but the fact remains that Luke has experiences that can only be gained through living, aging, and seeing.
On the same topic, after losing his sister, Nico was just a rage-driven, angry, lost 11-12-year-old kid. He could barely take care of himself. He obviously cannot govern and command an entire army. Luke, on the other hand, has many skills required to be a leader. I have talked about this once. He has the tongue, he has his charms, he's manipulative enough. As a tool and a weapon, Luke proves to be a better choice to be the pioneer of Kronos' revolution.
Of course, unless you need a puppet, in which case Nico proves to be a better choice. He was naive .he didn't know better. Luke try to resist because he saw how devastating his actions were/ would be. It should be much easier to fool a kid like Nico rather than an adult, thus limiting the chances of rebuke. I cannot recall exactly what Kronos was trying to do though, so I'll just leave this here.
The best method is of course to keep Luke while getting Nico ready, however, it would put kronos plans back a few years and I'm not really sure the guy would be that patient provided that he has been waiting thousand years to make a come back. So we will just leave it like that.
All in all, it's fun to think about a scenario in which the one whose contribution directly leads to their victory in the original series now becomes the main antagonist, the main reason they will likely fail. Thank you @smartichokes for the delightful idea!! 🥺🥺🥺

Could do a tara carpenter x fem reader
Everyone finds a dog near Sam and tara building
*sam is against the idea of keeping the dog because it’s a mastiff breed*
But everyone outvote her and decide to care for the dog until they find the owner.
*Poor tara who drew the short straw and she has the task of walking the dog and got dragged all across the park and Mindy witness the whole thing and recorded it
*you could hear her laughter in video and tara yelling “don’t just stand there!!!! HELP “ before it cuts to the sound of a splash*
Mindy on the floor dying of laughter in the room and show them the video
But for some reason this dog is strangely attach to Tara and choosing to stay by her side. In a cute moment imagine tara having a nightmare then the dog trying to show comfort to her. And she sleep while hugging his head🥺. They all start warming up to the dog until someone appears with a flyer and is like “hi I believe you found my dog”
*tara becomes flustered at seeing this pretty girl and both become closer*
Fast forward when Ghostface show up at tara and Sam apartment
*it backfires because they werent expecting a dog nor r to be there. so in a way, everyone who isn’t ghostface survives. Anika deserve to live damn it!!!!*
In my head I can imagine Quinn calling Ethan to abort the whole thing Because their dad got badly mauled by the dog and don’t want to risk getting caught without a plan but yk dogs are a great judge of character and can sense a bad person and he never like Ethan, Quinn or her dad.
Always snarling at them or nipping at them.
R would even question if Quinn was dead because her dog kept growling at her when they put her in a body bag. Like how the hell didn’t you notice ghostface in your room? She would trust her dogs more than people.*
*now everyone has a closer bond with r. Even Sam who’s not very trusting of people*
In my mind I was thinking “it’s bad enough/embarrassing that ghostface getting beaten/outsmarted by the main protagonists, imagine them being defeated by a dog” and this was inspired by the Spider-Man miles morales game. In the game there a side quest and if you complete it you can fight crime with a cat as a sidekick
bad guy getting his ass handle by Spider-Man then you see a cat come out of his backpack. Imagine that same guy in jail and everyone asking how you got beaten by Spider-Man and question you why you have claw marks on your face 👀👀
Is it okay if I do this request instead of the other red vs blue crossover request? I haven’t seen it and I don’t think I’d do it any good. I like this request cause of the dog. I love dogs and I was thinking the dog could be a Cane Corso? I used to have one when I was a kid :D
