I want an AU

Where gojo is afraid of something mundane like the dentist. He ate too much sugar to overcompensate for his sleep schedule that now he developed a cavity and has to go to the dentist. Except, he's absolutely afraid of the dentist but if anyone were to question him about it he'll say "I'm the strongest sorcerer alive! Why would I be afraid of something like the dentist?" He'd probably shutter at the word but brush it off. He forces the first years (most likely after a mission) to go out to eat and orders a dessert but his stupid cavity gets in the way of that causing him pain. Megumi would be the first one to notice as he would raise his brow and Yuuji would be the one to ask if he's okay. Of course Gojo would play it off as not a big deal. He'd take another bite of his dessert that's too sweet for anyone else to even want to eat. I mean absolutely LOADED with sugar to the point where it even grosses Yuuji out. He'd let out another yelp of pain and Kugisaki would be the first one to tease him. "Has all that sugar finally caught up to you Gojo-sensei?" He'd absolutely deny deny deny but it's fairly obvious especially Megumi what's going on here. He'd flatly state "He's afraid of the dentist." That response only gets more denial and a shock laughter from Kugisaki and a sympathetic look from Yuuji understanding his fear. Once again that's only met with denial but Megumi would reminisce about his childhood when he and Tsumiki would have to go to the dentist that Gojo would try to put on a brave face initially but as far as that would get him would be the front door. Yuuji being the kind person he is suggests they all support Gojo on his journey to get that cavity fixed. At this point the only two things he's feeling is betrayal and fear.

All 5 of them venture off to support Gojo-sensei on his trip to the dentist. Of course Nanamin was forced to come along because who else but another trusted adult could get Gojo to even leave the school. Nanami would be the one to talk to the receptionist about Gojo's cavity and initially he would be cowering behind the children but who else but Gojo would pretend to play cool as long as there's a woman around. All 5 of them (a very odd looking group of individuals) would sit in the waiting room waiting for Gojo's name to be called along. Gojo would sit there contemplating what to do "Should I teleport far away? Should I blow up this place to the ground? No that would hurt the kids and people inside. Should I use-" His thoughts would be disrupted by his name being called. He's chattering like it's doomsday and he's meeting deaths calling. Unfortunately due to the capacity he's only allowed to bring in 2 people with him.

He would choose Nanami and Megumi of course. Kugisaki would just tease and make fun of him the entire time and Yuuji would be so sympathetic and nice trying to calm him down that it would just ultimately make him more nervous. Megumi hasn't said a single word since they've gotten here (of course he's the only one who knows what Gojo is like in situations like these) and Nanami is the only trusted adult at this moment. He'd struggle to even get on the chair especially with all the tools around. His feelings that would cause all the medical tools to start to float and contort before the assistant or dentist could enter the room. Megumi would just silently put a hand on his shoulder causing him to jolt but slightly calm down. The assistant would help Gojo get on the chair that is before being completely confused as to why thousands of dollars of medical equipment is completely curled up and mishaped. Nanami would've been the one to fill out Gojo's medical records because of course who else would. He marked down that Gojo needed anesthetics before the dentist and the assistant are shoving tools into his mouth.

The tools would begin clattering as they approached him with the mask causing his infinity to spike before turning to Megumi and Nanami that would give him the courage to calm down. After the mask was on and the tools would occasionally float away as the dentist and assistant worked and filled his tooth the operation was successfully completed. Not without of course the side effects of the laughing gas. Gojo would babble nonsense on and on that Megumi had recorded and sent to the group chat. He would walk out loopy with gauze in his mouth and his face wrapped, a smiley face sticker on his chest (that Megumi had put on) and a baggie with medication kids toothpaste and mouthwash (of course) a tooth brush and an advisory to avoid sugary, and hot and cold foods for 3-4 weeks until his filling is completely healed. Needless to say Gojo did in fact tell the dentist office staff he hopes he never sees them again on his way out.

National Dentist’s Day

Person A is a vampire who works as a dentist due to their mortal life spent with bad teeth due to the time period, so they got very invested in dentistry as it developed over the centuries. One day, Person A gets a child client who has the strangest teeth - more similar to a vampire’s despite being seemingly human. When Person A tries to broach the topic with their guardian, Person B, they are shocked to learn the child and their guardian are a different species of vampires/species similar to vampires and Person B chose Person A as a dentist due not trusting human dentists, unaware that Person A is fairly isolated from supernatural circles. But when Person A learns their is a lack of dental care in the supernatural community, they start to expand their skills to be able to help non-humans with their dentistry needs as well.

I know you probably don’t ever want to write a Dentist AU for Kate and Anthony but how do you think Anthony finally asks her out? I feel like with all unhinged Anthony behavior, it would be chaotic

I feel like it would be when Anthony comes in, phantom toothache once again and Kate sighs.

“Anthony I think we have to consider the real possibility that this might be a condition called trigeminal neuralgia.”

And Anthony freezes. “What’s that?”

“It’s a condition where the trigeminal nerve (the nerve that supplies sensation to your teeth and much of your face sends signals that tell you pain is occurring when there’s no harmful stimuli. We’d need to send you to a specialist to confirm and they would need to run a series of-”

“I’ve been making it up!” Anthony practically shouts, panicking while Kate’s eyebrows widen in surprise.

“You’ve been…?”

“Making it up! Throwing away my night guard, bringing my siblings in for unnecessary check ups.”

And Kate just stays, staring blankly at him. “Why would you do that?”

“Because I think you’re smart and funny and really pretty and I didn’t know how to ask you out and I just- yeah.”

Kate stares back at him for a long moment Sophie disappearing with a sharp fucking Hell. And then Kate clears her throat. “Anthony I think it might be best if you transfer to another doctor.”

“Oh. Right.” He’s so mortified, he tries to scramble from the room but her voice stops him.

“I just don’t really want to put up with my boyfriend’s complaining that it hurts when I floss his teeth.”

Anthony stops spinning around his heart hammering “What if I promise not to complain?”

“We’ll see. But if you’re gonna keep being a hypochondriac, I will push you off on someone else.”

What about a hifudo fic where Hifumi is afraid of the dentist but he gets a cavity(or something els) and HAS to go and he goes reluctantly to the dentist and that’s where he meets Doppo.

And falls in LOVE with Doppo as he thinks he’s cute the way he looks the way he acts like a kluts and the way he apologizes. Hifumi likes it all. He quickly goes home and fawns over the cute new dentist with his besties Rosho and Ramuda.

What’s your favorite Twst event of ALL TIME?

I like Harveston

this truly is the hardest question. :( but after much consideration, I think Endless Halloween Night wins out for me, because it's nonstop Characters Being Silly the whole way through. the whole thing is just lots of these little dorks having the most ridiculous interactions, which is always my favorite! and of course the big twist is SO delightfully stupid and doubles down SO hard that it becomes AMAZING and I 100% unironically adore it. AND it's Halloween! everyone is in their cute little costumes and having a spooky adventure! it's great!

however, I am ALSO a big fan of the Harveston event! how can I not be! everyone is wearing comfy winter outfits and getting along really weirdly well with Epel's grandma and he's getting a little worried about that! my terrible loud son sews a plush squirrel and then gives it a silly little nickname and refuses to leave it behind when it breaks! the ending shot with the sled! I LOVE IT.

obviously we need the best of both worlds now

Guys, I'm gonna get real with you: I've seen a lot of Dentist AUs in different fandoms over the years and as a dentist I have to wonder why. My dudes, it is not a sexy job. I am just to my wrists in saliva all day every day, and I am a 28 year old woman with back problems and declining hearing.

That being said, I do love the idea of Anthony continually booking little check up appointments, he's got a phantom toothache, ah damn, he's dropped his grinding guard down the toilet... for the tenth time.

and Sophie, Kate's assistant is just sitting there like "This is fucking embarrassing, literally just ask her to go for drinks."

Because Sophie's noticed the way Kate's face twitches when she sees Anthony's name on the schedule for the 4th time in six weeks. Because they both know he has perfect teeth, he has one tiny filling from when he was 15 years old and since then he's been meticulous. Even if he is a little aggressive with his brushing technique.

But of Course, Kate's completely oblivious to the fact that Anthony's just there to see her. she thinks he's a hypochondriac.

"Anthony, maybe we move your grinding guard out of the bathroom and to the bedroom. Considering how accident prone you seem around the toilet."

And all Anthony can do is mumble, "I tripped."

Seeing Estes story of him at the dentist got me thinking

In the dentist au lando needs a filling but is scared. Luckily este needs one too so he goes first to show lando it’ll be okay

Ooo I love this

Lando being terrified even though Lanxe is the one who is going to do the filling. He keeps asking to be knocked out, which they can't and don't want to do

So Esteban, who needs a filling replaced, offers to go first so Lando can see exactly how everything is done and how it doesn't hurt and he can relax

It helps settle Lando's mind and Esteban even stays and holds his hand during the procedure and talks him through it while Lance focuses
