This “Disney Adult” Thing is Getting Out of Hand

Recently, I saw a thread on Twitter with stills of a TikTok video depicting a woman crying and hugging a Goofy mascot at Disney World. It was captioned “we need to do something about Disney adults” and the replies were a minefield of people wondering what was psychologically “wrong” with this woman, making jokes about her wanting to have sex with Goofy, and on one memorable occasion, discussing sending Disney adults to a Mickey Mouse themed gulag. In between these vitriolic replies were screenshots of a video caption that OP had conveniently cropped out, which provided some much needed context. Apparently, her late father’s favorite character was Goofy, and she was emotional because hugging the Goofy mascot was like hugging a part of her dad. Yes, all of this vitriol was aimed at a woman healing from the loss of a parent. I wish I were joking.

“Disney adult” used to be a term that described a specific breed of over-entitled, grown Disney fan. A Disney adult would be the sort of person who would insist on going to the parks during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic or shove children out of the way in order to get that Instagram-worthy photo op in front of Cinderella’s castle a bit sooner. The term was once a way to describe a particular brand of selfishness, but it has warped into a way to mock people for having an “age inappropriate” or “intense” interest in Disney in general. Now, an adult singing songs from The Lion King in a car with friends, watching Encanto multiple times, or visiting Disney World without children is in danger of having the “Disney Adult” label, and the nastiness and snide remarks that come with it, thrust upon them.

One defense of this mockery that I have seen stems from Disney’s many misdeeds as a corporation. People bring up the fact that Disney’s corporate leadership is ethically bankrupt, and from there they reason that making fun of people with what they perceive as a slavish devotion to the corporation is a way of fighting consumerism or helping Disney’s ill-treated park employees. But what about other unethical corporations and evil conglomerates? Mars had a recent, high-profile scandal wherein it was made public that the candy company sourced its chocolate from suppliers that used child slave labor, and Coca-Cola is infamous for apparently funding a death squad to kill union leaders in Columbia. In spite of these horrifying violations of human rights by these mega corporations, I still have yet to see a substantial amount of vitriol lobbed at Coca-Cola drinkers or M&M eaters. On top of that, people who engage with Disney on a more “adult” level by watching sports on ESPN (which is part of the many-headed entertainment hydra that is The Mouse) are not perceived with the same level of scrutiny as adults watching the cartoons or visiting the parks. We live in a world where, in many cases, corporations have more rights than individual people and are able to get away with downright evil practices, and as a result, we all have to wrestle with the ethical implications of our consumption, and it is nigh impossible to never engage with a brand that is run by crooked, corrupt individuals. Most people have come to terms with the fact that ethical consumption isn’t a thing that one can easily do, but they are willing to afford more grace and understanding to people who consume problematic products in a manner that doesn’t violate established social norms. A person eating chocolate or watching football isn’t doing anything taboo, but an adult enjoying something aimed at children often is. This observation brings me to a concerning conclusion: many of the people crowing about Disney adults being the absolute worst people aren’t concerned about corporate greed, rampant consumerism, or workers’ rights at all, they just want a convenient excuse to feel above others and to have a taste of the power and social clout that a high school bully might enjoy.

The treatment of the girl in the Goofy mascot video brought back a torrent of memories of my time in high school, a time in which I was subject to intense bullying that still stays with me fifteen years later. I was in no way a normal kid, and a paid for this fact dearly in social situations. I was the over-emotional autistic kid obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh, an anime series ostensibly aimed at elementary school boys, and I wore a home made Crayola Model Magic Millennium Necklace modeled after the one in the show a’ la Chris Chan. I was seen as immature, as clumsy in everyday conversation, and as an acceptable target for cruelty. I endured all sorts of insults and ridicule for my special interests, Yu-Gi-Oh and beyond, for the mere crime of loving them with the passionate intensity with which only an autistic child could. My difficulty socializing and dealing with my too big, too painful emotions gave my classmates more of an incentive to go after me, and it got to the point where my entire science class would spend the period mocking me (often to the point of tears) while the teacher would sit there, watch them, and do absolutely nothing. Perhaps he thought that the bullying would somehow turn me neurotypical or make me less weird, but that never happened. Instead, I learned to make myself small and avoid showing too much childish happiness in a world which sees cynicism and being oh so above it all as virtues. I still tense up when I hear people laughing near me and still apologize for talking about what I love for longer than a minute. I wasn’t normal, and I probably annoyed a lot of people, but I don’t believe that warranted making my school life hell on earth. I was psychologically tortured by my peers for being weird and all I got was this crappy social anxiety diagnosis.

The mocking of the perceived weirdness of the girl in the Goofy TikTok mirrors my experience with bullying in a lot of ways, and my heart aches for her. No human being should have to walk a daily gauntlet of cruelty for doing something that harms no one, much less in the never-ending panopticon that is social media. I don’t think that she is autistic, but needless cruelty for harmless eccentricity is always wrong, even if the target is 100% neurotypical. That said, many of the, shall we say, eccentricities that people bring up when making fun of Disney adults just so happen to look an awful lot like autistic traits. There are plenty of autistic people who have a passionate interest in something and who get excited about it in a “socially unacceptable” manner in public. Many autistic people, adults included, also have an interest in “childish” things. When we give people a green light to mock people, autistic or not, who do these things, then we are creating an precedent for ableist bullying of autistic people, regardless of the original intent.

Seeing this moral panic surrounding Disney adults makes me feel borderline unsafe as an autistic person. What harmless-yet-eccentric passions will people ridicule others for having next? If some asshole with a smartphone captures a video of me getting excited about a special interest in public and posts it to TikTok to mock me, will it go viral? Can mocking an autistic person be deemed as attacking an acceptable target or even as a form of praxis if the bully uses the correct combination of social justice or anti consumerist buzzwords?

Bullying a random woman on TikTok out of going to Disney World is not even going to put a noticeable dent in the conglomerate’s multibillion dollar earnings, but it will make a very real person feel like garbage and open the door for so much more bullying and nastiness going forward. So what do we do about Disney? Well, for starters, donating to the GoFundMe of a cast member struggling to make ends meet will have an immediate, material effect on the life of someone being mistreated by Disney. For a bigger impact on more people, you can put pressure on politicians to create legislation that protects workers and consumers while holding The Mouse and other corporate entities like it responsible for their actions. No bullying of grieving daughters, autistic people, or random eccentrics is required.

The Cinderella run isn’t over: EG prove they can go head-to-head with one of the world’s top teams at VCT Masters Tokyo

It's safe to say that the past year has been turbulent for Evil Geniuses. The squad is now demonstrating they can hold their own against some of the finest rosters in the world after going from being one of the most inconsistent VALORANT teams in the Americas League to just making it to VCT Masters Tokyo. In what many are considering a massive upset, VCT America’s third-place squad unseated Korea’s DRX from their group-stage throne on June 12. EG not only slayed the group stage demons, but they did it in 2-0 fashion as well. After their victory over DRX, EG are now the first team at VCT Masters Tokyo to advance out of the group stage and secure a top-eight spot. https://twitter.com/EvilGeniuses/status/1668174942892961793 EG faced heavy criticism throughout the VCT Americas season due to controversial roster changes and strategies. In contrast, DRX were one of the most consistent teams in the entire world throughout the first part of the year. But as we know, VALORANT is a momentum-based game at all levels, and after these two teams had opposite experiences in their regular season leagues, their trajectory is continuing to go in very different directions. While EG have only gotten better over the last month, with them finally starting to gel together and the roster looking like a well-rounded unit, DRX have had noticeable issues that may have cost them the VCT Pacific title. Yet the clash of these two teams seemed to still favor the Korean squad, who have had numerous international appearances and finished as high as third place overall at an international VCT event. DRX have opted to go for the newer version of their roster so far in the tournament, which includes young duelist player Foxy9 instead of veteran Zest. On the side of EG, Demon1 has been helping them to their victories after fears he may not make the tournament at all. While EG ran a standard composition, DRX switched things up and opted for a variation of their Fracture composition that shifts Foxy9 onto Raze and Rb onto Fade. Longtime DRX fans will have noticed a complete shift in strategy on Fracture based on this composition alone. DRX have been winning Pacific League matches by using a Neon-focused composition that absolutely demolishes the defense on this map. Instead of that strategy, the team decided to instead focus much more heavily on utility than speed and force. There were lineups galore, but they didn’t look entirely coordinated with this strategy. EG won Fracture after DRX were only able to win five rounds. On Ascent, things just got better for EG, and the team put up an incredible map. Demon1 seemed activated and ready to go, getting frags left and right with everything from knives to an Operator. The team moved as a unit and worked together seamlessly, adapting to everything DRX threw at them. EG truly showcased their depth, not only in their roster but also in their pool of strategies. Just a not so casual reminder that in Cinderella (1950), the prince was NOT the one to make the decree that he would marry whoever fit the slipper. That was the KING. The king was so desperate for grandkids that he took the prince’s words literally. He was the one who sent the duke out to find who would fit the slipper. And the duke never got a close look at Cinderella’s face. He always saw Cinderella from a distance. Even then, he didn’t really care! His life was on the line! If he didn’t find a woman to fit the shoe, the king would kill him! Prince’s happiness be damned.

More than likely, the prince had no idea what was going on until Cinderella arrived at the palace.

Oh, as for the “plot hole” of the shoe only fitting one girl in the entire kingdom—did everyone just conveniently forget that the shoe was made with MAGIC? Is it really that hard to figure out that maybe, just MAYBE, it was the magic of the shoe that made it so the slipper only fit Cinderella? Like did no one ever consider that at all? Seriously?

I mean, I like the jokes too, but seriously? No one ever saw any of those points? Ever?

I’ve been thinking about Mansfield Park again and wondering if it would be possible to make Henry/Fanny into a satisfying ending. Because if Fanny marries Henry in the story that Austen wrote, even if Henry has truly reformed and remains loyal to Fanny, it would be an intensely unsatisfying resolution that would disrespect both characters.

Look at the story Austen gave us. Henry is rich, good-looking, intelligent, witty and charming and has powerful connections. Henry is Fanny’s superior in social status and wealth and popularity, and his proposal is like Prince Charming coming to rescue Cinderella, an incredibly generous offer that would elevate poor, dependent, shy Fanny beyond anything that could logically have been hoped for her future. No one can see why Fanny would reject an offer from such a wonderful man and such a great match. They’re all blinded by Henry’s superficial qualities, and can’t see that underneath all his status and charm, Henry is a self-centered, amoral jerk.

But Fanny can see the truth. She knows that she’s Henry’s moral superior, and that marriage to him would be far more degrading than anything she suffers in her current position. So, even though it puts literally everyone in her life against her, she rejects him. The people around her make her suffer intensely for sticking to her morals, but she never bends.

Does Fanny’s rejection make Henry suffer in the same way? Not even close. His pride is wounded, and I’d be willing to concede that his heart could be wounded, but he suffers in no other way. He is still as rich and popular and secure in his status as he ever was, and none of his choices in the story jeopardize any of this. He never truly has to change. He never suffers or sacrifices anything. His most profound gesture--getting the commission for Fanny’s brother--was an easy accomplishment for a man whose uncle is an admiral.

If Fanny accepts this man, in this story, it means that everyone was right about him, and she was wrong. Henry is a wonderful man who deserves to have everyone love him, who just needed Fanny's love to turn into a completely perfect man. It disrespects Fanny’s profound moral choices, and completely sidesteps any real character arc for Henry. Because this Henry would get everything anyone could ever want--money, status, and a wonderful wife--with minimal effort. And Fanny’s greatest strength--her clear-eyed ability to see past superficial appearances--would look like a weakness, because to her family, it would look as though they were the clear-eyed ones who always knew what a great match Henry was, and that Fanny just had to see past her prejudices to accept his offer.

At first glance, it seems like Henry just needs to step up to Fanny’s moral level to be a worthy husband. But stepping up to Fanny’s moral level requires more than a few changes of behavior and a couple of gifts. It requires suffering. It requires knowing right from wrong and sacrificing everything else--happiness, respect, security, popularity--to avoid betraying those morals. So for Henry to step up to Fanny’s moral level, he would need to step down to her social level. The Henry that Austen gives us needs everyone to love him--he only chases Fanny in the first place is because she’s the one person who doesn’t love him--and an ending where he gets what he wants and is beloved by all would be unsatisfying. Instead, Henry would need to learn that popularity isn’t the most important thing in life. To win Fanny’s admiration, he’d have to be willing to sacrifice the admiration of the rest of society. He would need to adopt stronger morals and stick to them, even when it’s difficult or boring or makes him unpopular. He would need to make some strong choice that makes everyone else reject him, but makes Fanny realize that he truly has changed into a person who values goodness over everything else.

By the time Fanny accepts Henry, the rest of the people at Mansfield--especially Julia and Maria--should think that Henry’s maybe not such a great guy, and maybe his face is kind of funny-looking, and never mind his wealth, they can’t imagine being stuck to a guy like him for the rest of their lives. Because that would validate Fanny’s original choice, showing that she can see beyond what society values and into the core of what truly matters. This Henry would be someone who had truly reformed, who had learned to see love, not just as an object to be won, but as an action requiring sacrifice. This Henry would stop trying to make everyone love him, and instead learn to love other people. Then, and only then, would Fanny’s marriage to him be a happy ending.

I’m not sure how this would come about. It would require a significant rewrite of the last half of the story. Maybe Fanny would have to be a bit more specific in telling Henry how he needs to change. Maybe Henry would need to go against the wishes of his uncle in some way. But however it happens, the plot would need to undergo major changes. It would be the only way to stay true to the characters that Austen gave us, while making a marriage between Henry and Fanny a happy ending rather than a tragedy.

Even up until midway through this very season, the shine of the Nashville team that lost a contentious Stanley Cup Finals loss to the Penguins (2nd of b2b wins) had been all but dimmed. In some ways, they had even become an archetypical example of a team holding out too long for the false promises of a Cinderella Run. Trade rumours engulfed nearly everyone on the roster and there seemed to be a sense of that the Preds had been caught in no mans land. Yet somehow (regression in Chicago, injuries in Dallas) Coach Hynes and the crew have got it together at just the right time.

Encapsulating this emergence is the scene as they clinched their Playoff Berth. Amidst the surreal atmosphere of a large raucous crowd, the play began to bear the frenzy and fervour reserved for the post season. Defeating their upcoming opponent, the first-place-in-the-division Carolina Hurricanes, for the first time this season helped to underscore the hopefulness of possibilities that await this Nashville squad.

At the forefront of this newfound positivity is the continued secession of the crease from Rinne to Saros. Rare to see in general, but especially given that Coaches Trotz and Korn have left, but Rinne has been allowed to age peacefully in a waning role just as Saros unveils abilities to last as a majority starter. It’s especially encouraging given the organization’s history of strong goaltending play and the whispers of Askarov 5-ish years in the future.

The blueline remains as good as any (top third ish of the league?). Josi, Ellis, and Ekholm is a great start and the rest of the defence have been good enough and there’s reason to believe Carrier and Fabbro could continue to improve with experience.

That leaves the forwards as the logical candidate as the surprisingly effective aspect of the Preds. Forsberg is good, but Arvidsson is injured. Johansen and Duchene are both useful parts of the team, but not necessarily the top-line-centre-types that the Preds had hoped for (at least paid for). Granlund, Haula, and Richardson have been as advertised, middle 6 additions, but the real fulcrum has been Tolvannen and Kunin. Tolvannen has a great shot and has a definitive offensive flair, the reason for his selection in the first round of his entry draft, and in a sense is helping the make up the production lost from Arvidsson’s absence. Kunin, meanwhile, has shown more than he did in his brief stint with the Wild last season.

To his credit Hynes has settled on some interesting lines, while largely maintaining the previous regime’s outline. Forsberg-Johansen are flanked by Tolvannen. Trenin-Sissions-Jeannot has been solid on the fourth. Meanwhile, the magic really occurs in the middle (2nd and 3rd) lines. I find the combinations to really make sense together as a unit, taking it to a place of synergy.

Richardson/Cousins-Haula-Duchene are all centres, or at least have been. Richardson has been effective for years as a checking centre and generates positive defensive results, really helping to anchor this unit’s viability in checking, even if Cousins has provided similar elements to greater success. The speed of both Duchene and Haula are enough to pressure anywhere on the ice, and together provide more than enough skill to be a consistent threat to score.

Jarnkrok-Granlund-Kunin ends with a similar two-way play capability, but gets there in a different way. I’d say the speed and skill of Granlund are complimented by wingers that play “heavy”. Jarnkrok is understated, at least in reputation, but is fundamentally strong and can fill many roles on a team. He was forced deeper in the lineup during the prior years, but has held up his end of the bargain with more responsibility.

Could they win a round against Carolina? Maybe. They have the experience and the physicality to do it, the goaltending to keep it close. Maybe they could even win a couple rounds. But to me it seems like they are missing what they would need to pull off what the 2012 Kings or 2019 Blues pulled off as low seeds.

At 3 months old she was separated from her mother forcefully by Augustus, Leaving Julius to raise her as single father (With the help of Servants of course) to the best of his ability, while also taking his duty as a magic knight seriously.

Luckily for him she was an easy-going baby with minor hickups every once and a while.

When she was around 2 years old her interest in the world of entertainment sprang to life. when she passed by a street preformers with her Nanny after visiting her father at the Grey Deer Base. She was captivated by the preformer's ability to make to many people clap and smile by singing and dancing. Which she began copying at home; to the best of her 2 year old ability she sang and wobbled around trying to copy the preformers, the first time Julius witnessed the behavior he thought something was wrong but was pleasantly relieved when he figured out what she was doing.

At age 4 she was enrolled into her first Theater Arts class, where she thrived in learning skills of performance. Due to her now having something to do during the day made Julius' worries go away for a while. Till at age 5 when she sprained her ankle after slipping during a dance routine. During her two weeks of recovery she began taking her magic training seriously, and found it odd she could make balloons that when popped scattered confetti.

She grew insecure of her odd magic and began hiding afraid her father would be upset she didn't have magic like him, but Julius saw her cast the spell one day when he came home way earlier than normal to check up on her as she was forced to stay off her feet till she was fully recovered. He was immediately thrilled by her kind of magic, and he was the one to give her magic type a name.

At age 5 she had her first crush on the infamous "Zara Ideale" mainly from stories her father told her but she was able to see him in person once on her way home from school and did receive his autograph that keeps hidden and well kept.

At age 7 she met Yami Sukehiro, they had an immediate attachment with a sibling like bond and often did their studies together. The two where inseparable for the most part, he took his new job as part time big brother seriously and became a new support system for both her and her overworked father. While Mimi still did alot of work with Adderin having someone young like Yami around took a load off her shoulders as she wasn't young like when she raised julius and running around with her was becoming difficult.

Yami, Adderin and Julius lived together fine, but Adderin had minor attachment issues when Yami became a Magic knight. But by that time she already had a full schedule between regular school and her Theater classes as her first big show was coming up. Julius, Yami and Mimi all attended for the show but to their surpjse despite Adderins talent she was only a bush that threw confetti. Despite that she was happy after the show, her first big time on the stage and she was love struck by stardom. The stage was her new home, and now with the goal of being the Star of the next show she had Julius enroll her in more dance classes, singing and other things that would help her raise skills to do so.

At age 9 she met William Vangeance, and his mask absolutely terrified her. Causing her to cry on site. Not being much of a cryer hearing her cry broke Julius' heart as he's the one who made it. She eventually got used to it but did stray away from William as much as possible in the process of getting used to him.

(Biggest Physical difference- at this age she's 5'6).

One time, he unfortunately spooked her on accident as was met with the knife Yami got her for her 10th birthday to the arm. Which she quickly apologized for, and got a scolding from both her father and Yami. After that Adderin and William began to understand each other more, soon growing close like she did with Yami.

Age 11 her hard work payed off and she received the lead role in her schools musical rendition of Princess and the Pea. Although her cast mates found it annoying she was able to everything near perfect while they where still beginning learner's. To compromise this little issue she was switched from lead role to an Uglystep sister(Anastasia) with the older kids and their rendition of Cinderella. This did send her into a minor depression slump and it did Alarm Julius Severely to see her taking her magic training more seriously than rehearsing for the show. He knew the switch took a grand hit to her mental state and did his best to comfort her.

At 12 the theater school completely dropped her. Saying she was to advanced for them despite her young age. And for that reason she couldn't go into the other school till she was 15 and had her grimore. This completely destroyed her, sending her into a 3 month long depression episode as the school was the only place people talked to her despite being excluded from her peers due to not having any hobbies and interestss outside of theater and entertainment. With her father nearly working all the time, Yami and William as well she spent this time of her life completely secluded from the world other than Mimi.

Age 13… has to be the roughest year for her socially. Her father had officially became the Wizard king and William and Yami became captains soon after everyone who used to know her from the school recognized the name Novachrono and they reconized her father. Soon all the children who dreamed or had siblings who dreamed of becoming magic knights started trying to hang around her, but Adderin was an advanced actor and knew they where putting up an act to see if they could chest the system. And she fed into their lies and they fed into hers. But the toll of being recognized as nothing more than his daughter eventually took it's toll on her mental state that led her into alot of trouble. Eventually she decided to let go of her dreams of being a preformer and become a magic knight. It was what all her "friends" were doing and she desperately wanted to fit in. She began taking her magic training seriously but no one took her magic seriously, it was seen as nothing more than a party gag.

(14)Due to his increase of work Julius didn't notice his daughters toxic friend group or her declining mental state till Mimi visited the Magic Knights HC and addressed her concerns. One night he came home earlier to make sure he could be able to sit down for dinner in time only to find her crying in her room. All he could do as assure her the next year she'd be able to return to the world of entertainment doing what would make her happy. Around this age she also stopped growing reaching 5'10 leaving her an awkward giant among her "friends"

Age 15, when she finally received her grimore she took her training more seriously than before, it saddened Julius to see her abandoning her dreams to follow the line but supported her the entire way through. She managed to get into her father's old squad "The Grey Deer", she stayed until a few weeks before her 16th Birthday when she was formally kicked out of the magic knights by her father. He hated seeing her so depressed and uniformed, he wanted her to thrive in an environment where she was happy. So she did, leaving the magic knights and winding up at the nearest circus due to them accepting aspiring preformers.

At 16 she was selected to be the main act for the first show of the season, which she did infact write her father to let him know the big news. Her performance was a big hit among all viewers, new and old. Her magic combined with her natural skill captivated the eyes of so many people she was quickly met with loyal fans and fanclub's for her. The name "Princess Poppy" quickly spread across the world of entertainment.

By age 17 she had merchandising of her,(which her father collected loyaly)Everything from stickers to full-blown figurines, she was a circus idol.

Although she never wondered about her mother when Damnatio asked if she wanted to meet her, she was confused. Her entire life she was told her mother was dead so she never bothered. But when the entire situation was explained, she took his offer and decided to meet her mother in secret.

Which was a decision she'd come to regret after Lillian tried to freeze her throat shut. She was quickly rushed to Owen, luckily Fuegoleon was in the building with a few CLKs who needed treatment after a mission and was able to warm her throat back up but despite his and Owens efforts her thyroid could not be repaired.

Julius was furious at the ordeal and nearly killed Damnatio for setting up the entire thing. But his heart was broken when she asked him "Why did you lie about mom being dead" he realized he also had a shoulder of responsibility for never explaining to her the situation which led her to curiosity to meet the woman she believed dead.

Age 18-

Still recovering from her accident with her mother and getting back into her normal life and routine she found herself chasing after a small rodent who stole her favorite scrunchie, unknowingly running into EOTMS territory and accidentally trampling over "Licht", tripping over him dragging them both into a ditch. Which got a good chuckle out of Rhya seeing the tall clown completely wind their leader.

They where ready to kill her but where surprised to see she was able to send their magic back as the opposite magic type twice as strong with some sort of mirror. She eventually just started visiting them every so often bringing snacks and preforming small gags not caring what they where doing or even questioning what they where doing there, eventually growing an attachment to Patri and Patris attachment to the goofy clown idol was mutual, finding himself longing for her when she left for long periods of times for traveling shows. .

After one particularly special night the two found themselves kissing by the lake after a deep conversation with each other. But Adderin was the first one to admit her love to him and the two began dating in secret till Rhya called Patri out on his lie when questioning him about what the human meant to him.

At age 19 her world was flipped upside down, as her father's relationship with one of his Advisor's was brought to light. It was the first time in her life she'd ever call someone out of their name and the first time she'd ever expressed pure anger towards Julius. Lisa's was the only one ever Adderin made call her by her first name and title, with her "Lady May-Bella" was all she'd respond to.

It didn't take long for Patri or anyone she hung around to notice hellish mood, someone who normally appeared to happy and untouchable carrying such wrath and hatred scared him alot. But when she said the only thing she wanted was time with him he nearly melted inside. And so she got what she wanted for nearly two weeks she stayed with Patri off the grid which sent panic through Julius when the Ring Master contacted him when she didn't return after the first night thinking she was at home with him as she didn't tell anyone where or who she took off with

Although, about a month from that incident she found herself returning to the capital with news for her father. She somehow had to manage the courage to tell him she was with child. But all but great panic set upon her when seeing a mass light magic spell she knew belonged to Patri, followed by a spell just as large belonging to her father's time magic. Soon followed by the grand attack of elves but she was only able to reach and tell Patri, right before he gave the body back to William. All he could do was kiss her forehead and tell her he was sorry he had to leave. Although minor releif was brought to both parties when Rades brought Patri back.

Before she could leave with Patri, leaving clover for good she went with Yami and William to say her partings to what she thought would be her father's corpse but to find his new state was rather conflicting, but happy he was alive nonetheless. Telling her father the news.. and who the father of the child would be was bitter sweat before she kissed her goodbyes, leaving off with telling Lisa "Take care of Daddy for me while I'm gone, okay mom?'

At the current time of Canon Adderin would be 6//7 months pregnant. She lives with Patri in the new Village of the elves now stunted with fear of the dark triad

Age 20, she welcomed a healthy baby boy with Patri. Settling on the name Flower, not telling him the name was from a Skunk from a fairy tale she loved as a child.
