Lunch thief

It should come as no surprise to anyone that at least once a week when Steve isn’t away on a mission he has a standing lunch date with Charlotte. If it were up to her they’d have lunch together every day but she’s a smart girl and knows her Steebie is busy. Without fail though they always meet at the compound’s cafeteria and get lunch. Did they start making Dino nuggies once Lottie started having lunch there? Maybe. But it seems like everyone loves them, even her Steebie so he always has some on his plate.

After getting their food they find a table. Lottie waves and high fives any agent they walk by. She even stops to talk to some of them. Until Steve has to pull her away. When they finally find a table, near the large windows, because Lottie loves to see what’s happening outside, she opts to sit on Steve’s lap instead of her own chair. Before they even dig in you, Henry, Bucky and Nat join the pair.

What most people don’t realize about Charlotte is that although she’s small she can eat like a grown up. It’s mostly the serum but when you put her favorite food in front of her, she really goes to town. It’s no surprise that as everyone is talking that she finishes her Dino nuggies and French fries rather quickly. But she still wants more and she eyes the food on Steve’s plate. With a little giggle she slowly moves her hand toward his plate to snag a nugget, she dips it in bbq sauce and takes a bite. It happens a few times before Steve looks down at his plate.

“Hey, what happened to my Dino nuggets?” Steve asks before looking down at Lottie suspiciously. “Did you take them?”

With wide eyes and trying to repress a giggle Lottie looks up at Steve and shakes her head. Steve narrows his eyes at her but turns away to continue his conversation with Nat. Lottie smiles, thinking she got away with it. Her hand creeps up again and she takes one more and then another. It’s starting to look obvious that the pile on Steve’s plate has gone down significantly so he turns his head again just as Lottie finishes her chewing.

“Are you sure you didn’t take my nuggets?”

She gives him her best for eyes and a little pout. “No Steebie. I no take anything.”

“Hhm, ok.”

When Steve turns his head again Lottie pulls her hand up and grabs one last nugget. As she’s popping it in her mouth Steve turns to look at her.

“I gotcha.” He says and Lottie screams, causing the nugget to fall on the table.

She’s laughing hysterically in his arms.

“Tell me the truth.” Steve says while tickling her sides. She only laughs more.

“Kay, kay.” She says after a breath but starts laughing again. “I eated them. Is so yummy Steebie.” She says between giggles at Steve’s faux shocked face.

“How could you?”

“Is so yummy.” She shrugs.

“Fine, no dessert for you.”

Charlotte gasps and looks over at everyone at the table, who had also been laughing, with full concern.

“But I wike dessuht.” She takes Steve’s face in both her small hands and pouts. “Can habe some? Just Steebie and Wottie?”

“You want to share your dessert?”

“Mm-hm.” She nods.

“Ok, I guess we can share.”

Lottie smiles and hugs him. “Lobe you Steebie.”

“Love you too you little thief.”

Lottie giggles as Steve gets up to get something sweet he knows she’ll love. There’s nothing better than sharing his lunch with his best girl.

Love Muffin

Warnings: fluff, confessions, thats basically it

Summary: A tainted muffin causes your friendship between Henry to falter, but could something else grow?

guys this is a long one + it's been sitting in my drafts for like 3 months

♡♡♡♡♡♡

You were standing in the middle of Junk n' Stuff, crawling your fingers into the mouth of your bestfriend, Henry. Let me explain.

A few hours earlier, Ray met a woman named Gwen who he claims "immediately fell in love with her". Which was weird, because Ray hasn't ever had a girlfriend who he ever fell in love with.

The thing is they are already getting married on the same day they met.

But you and the gang, consisting of Henry, Charlotte, Jasper, and Schwoz, couldn't figure out how he "fell in love" with her so quickly.

She had to have done something to him.

So, Schwoz hooked up a machine to his head to see how they met. As you saw on the machine, Gwen gave him a muffin for him to eat and kissed him.

Charlotte, being the intelligent queen she is, figured out that she gave him a tainted muffin which made him fall in love with her.

Jasper came down a few minutes later listening to music, when he was supposed to be upstairs with Henry and Gwen in Junk 'N Stuff.

Henry and Gwen.

She must have been giving him muffins too.

You, Charlotte, and Jasper all ran up to the store to stop her from giving the muffins to him.

And that brings us to the present.

"Henry, stop!" "You can't eat that muffin!" We all cried out.

"Why can't I eat the muffin?!"

"Let him eat the muffin!"

Apparently, Gwen and I were pulling on his arms too hard, causing him to fall back and soon enough a vase bonked him on the head.

"Henry!" We all screamed, worried about our bestfriend.

"Y/N, you know mouth to mouth resuscitation! Help him!"

"Wait, what?!" You quickly got pushed down to his level to give him mouth to mouth.

"I need to kiss him!" Gwen tried to pull you away.

"Get away from me! I'm his bestfriend!"

The thing is, you didn't want to do it because you have a crush on Henry. You had a MAJOR crush on him, and you have since you both got this job.

Obviously you know that you'll never date him, but sometimes he gives you mixed signals. Like winking at you, complimenting you often, etc. It's the little things that keep you going.

As you looked at his face, you inhaled a deep breath and connected your lips together. You gave him mouth to mouth and pulled your faces away from eachother.

He woke up and you sighed in relief. Thank god that worked, you wouldn't know what to do if he hadn't woken up.

"Hey, Hen." You waved at him. "You doing okay?"

"I-I...I think I'm in love with you."

"What's up?" You pushed your neck out farther and raised your eyebrows in confusion.

Oh, God.

How could you have been so stupid?

The muffin.

Gwen kissed Ray after he ate the muffin, and it made him fall in love with her.

Henry is in love with you.

You stood up and put your hands on your head in despair, what are you going to do?

Henry followed you everywhere you went in the room, and even tried to hug you. You tried to push him off but his hugs felt nice. You felt comfortable in his arms. But you quickly realized this is just the muffin talking, he doesn't actually love you.

You frowned at the thought. God, why does love have to be so complicated?

Ray walked in the store, a dopey smile on his face.

"I was just dreaming about the first time we met." You rolled your eyes at him.

"Could you please make all of these people leave so we can be alone?" She gave him doe eyes, making him cave in and push us out of the store. Unfortunately, Henry was still all over me. Which, honestly, I couldn't complain about. I've never gotten this much affection from Henry.

You walked up to Henry's front porch, trying to open the door when Henry pushed you against the door while hugging you.

"Jesus, Henry! Get off of me for a second." You untie your sweatshirt from around your waist and throw it to him so he can smell it. He has a smile on his face while watching your actions. It's like everything you do is angelic to him.

You open the door to be greeted by Henry's living room, the scent of vanilla filling your nose.

You sit on the couch, Henry following right after you like a lost puppy. He stands there, giving you a tiny signal saying that he wants to lie next to you.

You sighed and lifted your arm up, Henry gasping on how you let him cuddle up next to you.

As Charlotte walked into the room after a tiny conversation with Schwoz on how he can't come in, she asks, "What is going on here?"

"Just tryna give the boy what he wants." You replied, trying to hide the fact you wanted him to sit near you.

"Tell me why Gwen would use tainted muffins to make Ray fall in love with her."

"Cuz, think about it, if Captain Man and Kid Danger are so in love that they can't fight crime, they can't stop Gwen from doing whatever evil things she wants to do!"

"Well, thank goodness Girl Danger is here to help. And I'm not eating any muffins anytime soon, or any from Gwen..." You trail off, feeling the sensation of Henry's hands on your shoulders.

"Oh that feels...really good." You throw your head back in pleasure while Charlotte gives you "the look".

You clear your throat and say, "I'm gonna head to the bathroom, be right back." Obviously, Henry follows after you. "Alone." His smile drops but after a few seconds, he still follows.

You're right next to the door when he pins you against the wall. "Henry, what are you doing?!" You gasp.

"Oh c'mon, Y/N/N, I know you like me." Henry replies. Your jaw drops and you pretend like you've never ever had a crush on him. "What?" You scoff. "I do not have a crush on you."

"Y/N, Charlotte told me a few months ago. I'm surprised I never saw the signs."

You look down to the floor, scared for him to reject you. He uses his hand to lift up your head by your jaw and kisses you.

You pull away from his sweet, sweet lips. You pushed him away from your body which felt amazing next to his.

"Henry, this is just the muffin talking, you don't actually like me."

"I know it may seem like this is the muffin saying stuff, but it's true. I do like you."

"Let me think about it, Hen." You stuttered. "Now can I go to the bathroom?"

"Yes, oh, yes, sorry." He exclaims. You walk in and see him still following you.

"Henry!"

"Sorry!"

*Time skip*

A little recap. Piper came downstairs, in need of her "Girly Curly" that apparently you broke.

She grabbed a pair of scissors and snipped off a little bit of your hair. You felt hurt by her actions, which Henry could see by the look on your face.

"Don't touch my Y/N." He said in a stern voice, but Piper didn't listen. She started to fight you, but as you were fighting her, you caught a glimpse of Henry on the floor. He was spazzing, jerking, everything a person with a seizure would do.

We all came to the conclusion that when Piper hurt you, it made Henry angry, which drove out his feelings of love.

You and the gang were currently in the Man Cave, planning to get Henry to fight Ray. You realized at Henry's house, if we could get Ray angry, it would drive out his feelings of love too.

♡♡♡♡♡♡

When we saw Ray, Henry went on this rant about how Gwen was going to see this man more attractive than Ray named Rob Banks. Eventually, Ray got angry enough to throw Henry across the room. Me, Jasper, and Charlotte rushed over to ask if he was okay. Clearly he wasn't, but we wanted to be supportive friends.

Ray's feelings were soon gone after he started spazzing in the middle of the room. We talked with Ray to see if he was okay, and he was, so we came up with a plan to catch Gwen.

Long story short, he pulled off Gwen's ponytail and she blackmailed us into letting her get away.

"So, we all learned a lesson here, didn't we?" Schwoz said. We all looked at him in confusion as to what he was saying.

"Anger is stronger than love." Jasper claimed out of the blue, and we all nodded and agreed with him.

A/N: Alright here is another birthday for Bucky. Number 1 dad deserves all of the celebration!!!

For the first time since being freed from hydra’s hold, Bucky was looking forward to celebrating his birthday. He had a reason, well three to be exact, to want to celebrate. Bucky was truly happy for the first time in a long time. He had his dream girl and two of the sweetest kids anyone could have ever hoped for.

On his birthday, Bucky woke up a bit later than usual. It didn’t matter because at least he would have a few minutes to cuddle with you but when he turned in bed you weren’t there. Still Bucky smiled as he thought that maybe Lottie and Henry would run in and spend some time hanging out with him but no. He sighs and gets up to get ready for the day. Out in the living room Bucky is met with you and Lottie but no Henry. Lottie hopped up and ran to her father and wished him a good morning.

“Morning, Baby.” You look up at him from the book you were reading.

“Morning, Sugar.” He leans down and gives you a quick kiss.

“Do you have any plans today?”

Bucky gave you a bit of a confused look but then shook his head. “Not really, only going to the gym for my normal workout and finishing some mission reports.”

“Oh cool. I was thinking maybe we could go out to dinner with the kids.”

“Yeah that sounds nice. Where’s Henry?”

“He’s hanging out with Wanda. She was going to show him how to make some Sokovian dish.”

“Oh, ok.” Bucky says and looks around, slightly disappointed. Still he smiles and heads out the door to the gym.

Down at the gym Bucky is sparring with Sam since Steve is nowhere to be found. He was starting to feel a bit down since he was looking forward to celebrating. Part of him thought it would be weird if he mentioned the fact that it was his birthday considering that you knew and always went out of your way to do something special for him. Bucky pushed those thoughts out of his mind and focused on getting some work done. He couldn’t exactly be upset because he always said he didn’t like celebrating his birthday and maybe now everyone was finally doing as he asked.

When Bucky finally dragged himself back to the apartment he was surprised to see you all dressed up. You smiled up at him as you were entering the living room.

“Hey babe, I laid out some clothes for you.” You say before giving Bucky a quick kiss.

“Thanks, where are the kids?”

“Well Henry is still with Wanda and Lottie insisted on having a ‘moobie night’ with Steve. I thought we could have a date night. What do you say?”

Bucky was feeling more dejected as the day went on and not having his kids on his birthday was just the last straw. But he also didn’t want to force them to be with him if they didn’t want to.

“I was kind of looking forward to spending time with all four of us.” He says quietly.

“Oh babe, I know but come on it’ll be fun.”

He looks at your pout and big doe eyes and he smiles. “Ok, I’ll go get ready.”

In the car Bucky was a bit distant. He had gone from being excited about his birthday to wishing the day would end already. You turned your head and smiled at him. To Bucky you seemed oblivious to his foul mood and somehow that hurt him more than you not even wishing him a happy birthday.

When you finally got to what ended up being a diner Bucky was ready to just turn the car around and go home. You got out of the car and waited for him so reluctantly Bucky got out and took your hand. He was confused when you walked up to the diner and it was completely empty.

“Is this the diner we brought the kids to?” He asks as he looks at the empty diner through the windows.

“Yeah, their first ever diner experience.” You smile.

“I think it’s closed. There’s no one here.”

“Well let’s just check, if it is we can go somewhere else.”

You walk in and sure enough the only people there are the cooks and a few servers milling about. Bucky walks in right after you. He throws a suspicious glance around the place before he hears the door lock. He turns around but doesn’t see anyone by the door. When Bucky turns around the room is filled with the team and your family.

“Surprise!” Everyone yells and Bucky is standing in stunned silence.

“Happy biwthday dada.” Lottie runs up to him with her arms stretched out. She latches on to one of his legs.

“Happy birthday daddy.” Henry says as he hugs Bucky around his midsection.

Bucky was completely shocked and confused but he hugged his kids anyway. When you walked up to him he could see the guilt on your face.

“I’m so sorry. The kids wanted to surprise you and swore me to secrecy.”

Bucky couldn’t help but laugh, the disappointment he was feeling slid off him like water off a duck’s back. He pulled you in by your waist and you leaned up to kiss him.

“Happy birthday baby.” You said against his lips before kissing him again.

“Get a room.”

“Eewwww.”

“Gross.”

The team teased the two of you before they all started to wish him a happy birthday. Your family was also there to congratulate him before everyone settled down at the long table the diner staff had rearranged. The servers begin to take down everyone’s orders and the group is left to talk amongst themselves.

“How long have you been planning this?” Bucky turned to look at you. You had your arm draped across the back of his chair and the other tucked under your chin while it rested against his shoulder.

“The party I wanted to plan? About three weeks. Then two weeks ago the kids came to me while you were on a mission and told me their plan. They were so cute, they even drew what they wanted the decorations to look like. I saved the drawing for you to keep.”

Bucky smiled, he really did have the best kids ever.

“The whole not acknowledging your birthday was Henry’s idea. He thought you’d be even more surprised if you thought we all forgot.”

“Oh so he’s who I have to put in timeout.”

“What?” Henry’s head whipped around so fast. His eyebrows shot up in surprise but he wanted to giggle.

“No gibe bubba timeout dada. Is not nice.”

“You can glare at me all you want but I’ll put you in time out too, little lady.” Bucky quipped and Lottie grinned before she giggled.

“Dada no gibe you timeout bubba.” She announced as if the matter had been decided.

“I’m just kidding bubs. You did something really nice for me and it means so much, so thank you, both of you.”

The outing went on as planned. The group ate and talked and laughed. A jukebox in the corner played some of Bucky’s favorites.

When it came time for dessert Steve helped Henry bring in the cake from the kitchen. Everyone stood around the smaller table with Bucky at the center. The cake was large and it was obviously homemade. It had a few layers to it so it was tall. The buttercream frosting was a deep blue. The other decorations on it were gold, including the Happy Birthday in a childlike scribble at the top of the cake. There was even a small goat figurine perched at the top.

While Bucky held Lottie, Henry pulled up a chair and stood on it so that he could see everyone better.

“Um before we sing happy birthday, I’d like to say something.” Henry speaks up. When everyone’s attention is on him, he clears his throat. “Well um, thank you everybody that could come and celebrate daddy’s birthday.” Henry says and turns to look at Bucky. “You are the best daddy in the world.”

“The bestest one.” Lottie adds.

There’s a few chuckles from the group.

“You are always nice and read us bedtime stories.”

“Gibe kisses when I habe an owie.”

Bucky, although he tried his hardest, let a few tears slip.

“You love us, and we love you.” Henry smiles at his father. Bucky hugs him with one arm while he keeps Lottie in his other arm.

“Thank you, I love both of you so much.”

Once he pulls back everyone begins to sing happy birthday. Bucky blushes a bit at the attention but can’t help but beam while he holds his kids and feels your hand on his back. When he turns his head to look at you he finds that your eyes are already on him. Pure love, admiration and happiness shine in them. When the singing was done and everyone wished him a happy birthday the cake was cut.

“This is really good.” Bucky says around a fork full of cake and the fresh fruit filling. “Where did you get this?” He asks you.

“Oh I didn’t buy it.”

“No?”

“Nope. Henry made it with Wanda’s help.”

“I only really helped with the prep work and the oven. He even made the frosting.” Wanda adds. “Henry’s a natural in the kitchen.”

“Baby added the goat though.”

“Yeah, goat is so cute.”

“What I don’t understand is Steve being completely absent all day.”

You look at bucky and giggle. “Charlotte saw him telling you about the party so she took it into her own hands to keep him occupied until it was time to leave for the diner.”

“He was always the worst at lying.”

You all share a laugh as you continue to enjoy the dessert made by Henry. A few presents are opened before everyone calls it a night.

When you finally make it back to the tower, the kids beg Bucky to read them a bedtime story which he does happily. While he does that you get ready for bed. When Bucky walks into your shared room he stops in his tracks.

“Happy birthday Bucky.” You smile as Bucky’s eyes rake over your lingerie clad body.

“You have one more present to unwrap.”

Bucky licks his lips before moving towards you. He hovers over you and you can’t help but laugh at how giddy he looked. You love seeing him happy.

“Best birthday ever.” He murmurs before he connects his lips with yours.

Oh I’m about to go HAM with this one! Buckle in cause I got a feeling it’s gonna be long, but imma try to be succinct. Also: FIRST ASK OF THE YEAR

Grace: will straight up go ask one of her friends to tickle her, the absolute mad woman

Ruth: she’s so damn touch starved so she’s in a lee mood more often than not. She gets more whiny & clingy with her friends & blushes a lot easier than normal

Richie: he cranks up the annoying friend routine up to an 11, teasing Pete & Ruth & cracking stupid jokes. His leg shakes a lot when he’s in a lee mood because he’s got a lot of pent up energy

Peter: stutters a lot & tends to stare at people’s hands a lot. He stretches a lot when he’s in a lee mood. I’m talkin’ arms all the way over his head, back arched, & he makes a high pitched groaning noise just to make sure he gets someone’s attention

Bonus Round! aka everyone else I feel like writing

Max: gets a lot more hyper & rowdy with his friends & tickles them in hopes they’ll get him back

Alice: suffers in silence & acts all grumpy until Deb catches on

Lex: gets real cuddly & clingy with Ethan & not so subtly tries to move his hands to her tickle spots so he’ll “accidentally” brush against a sensitive spot

Ethan: purposefully makes himself all mopey & emo to entice Lex to wreck his shit. Puppy eyes to the max

Paul: clams up, stutters a lot more than usual & jumps at pretty much any sudden movement in his direction & generally is much gigglier than normal

Bill: drops what he thinks are subtle hints & is a lot more affectionate with his coworkers. A hug to Paul or Charlotte, an arm around Ted’s shoulders, ruffles their hair. Is overall very smiley & playful

Charlotte: gets really cuddly & giggly. Usually it’s whenever she’s alone with Ted so she’ll lay in positions where her tickle spots are stretched out & vulnerable & calls his name over & over. Or if he’s really oblivious she gives up & starts a tickle fight

Ted: ASSHOLE TO THE MAX!!! Seriously, when Ted Spankoffski’s in a lee mood, everyone knows about it because he makes it everyone’s problem. He can never bring himself to ask for it, he can’t even admit it to himself that he likes it, so he just becomes So Insufferable until someone decides to do something about it

Tom: doesn’t even realize that’s what he’s been wanting until Becky gently grabs his arm & asks “want me to tickle you?” (He’s been silently staring at the ground and rubbing his neck/scratching his beard for the past 10 minutes)

Becky: she shyly will bring up a memory from high school with Tom & mentions how he used to tickle her. Not near as subtle as she thinks she is, but hey, it always works

Linda: will walk right up to her husband or whoever she’s having an affair with & loudly proclaim “what does a woman have to do around here to be appreciated?” & basically lays on the guilt trip. But what did you expect from miss gaslight gatekeep girlboss herself?

Dan Reynolds: sneak attacks the news crew to be funny but really he just wants someone to return the favor but no one ever does because he’s THE Dan Reynolds!
