Dance the Night | Lucy Bronze

A/N: Based on this request. Please enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it. Also, I am actually going to have a FaceTime date with my own Northern English, defender this Sunday so wish me luck :)

Also, I imagine that these are the types of dance covers that you would post on Tik Tok btw.

Lucy and I had the shared experience of playing in an American university. The only difference was that UC Berkeley was my home for my time there.

One of the things that I did during my four years at Cal that made them special and even was something that people loved learning about me was that I was also a part of a dance group whilst playing football. When I was in America, I found that dance was a good way to maintain my cardio and it was a fun way to keep my mind off of football for a bit. I used to do ballet as a kid and did some hip-hop dancing as I grew older so it was not something too out of the ordinary.

Even though football was my true calling, that did not stop me from dancing in the locker rooms before games, and posting little dance covers on Tik Tok during camps at the behest of Mary Earps. The only reason that the fans got wind of the fact that I’m that teammate constantly dancing was because of Lucy, who was filming one time before we played in a friendly against Germany and posting it on Instagram. She says that I didn’t pull her immediately that day but I know Lucy and I saw the way she watched me behind the phone as I danced to Work Out by J. Cole.

During the Euros, it became a thing, I guess, for the main Lionesses Instagram to post my pregame dances in the locker room. One of those I ended up teaching Miss Lucy Bronze how to slow dance which turned into a faster dance much to Lucy’s dismay. Lucy twirling me into a hold was the focal point of the video and I get why this one became a fan favorite and material for loads of couple edits of us.

The caption of said post, “@bbcstrictly @y/n is waiting for her call-up! 👀”

Of course I commented, “@y/n: @bbcstrictly ok but actually I would be down, I love love love the show 💃🙏”

Post win at the Euros, I was getting a call from the producers of Strictly Come Dancing to perform a one-time, special dance. They said that it was some kind of honoring fit for a new European champion.

I worked it out with my management that it would definitely be something that I could do after the World Cup since that was my next objective after a successful Euros run.

During the off time in the World Cup, I found myself talking to the producers as they had ideas of the performance and the choreography that would go with it. So, sometimes I would have to deny a walk with Lucy to figure out some logistics. I was met with a small but still visible pout from Lucy as she only nodded and would call up Jordan to take my place.

My attention was monopolized once we finalized what song and choreography we were aiming for and of course my new dance partner. I didn’t really know the guy but apparently he was on a reality show and all the girls were after him. The only taste of reality shows that I had was occasionally watching Love Island over Rachel and Millie’s shoulders on bus rides to games. I did not understand at all what went on but the drama was entertaining from what I saw.

“So, you’re not going to tell me the name of the song you will be dancing to?” Lucy said as she remained sitting on the hotel bed as she watched me change into something nicer than the training set I had been in all day. Eyes trained on me the whole time.

“Nope, it’s a surprise, baby. Sworn to secrecy anyways” I said as I got ready for our walk.

Lucy frowned as she started scratching her neck “well at least show me who you are going to be dancing with, like what if it’s a weirdo you know?”

I comply and give her my phone after I look up the name of the guy they had paired me up with.

“Not too bad looking right?” I tease, as I put on some dunks and ask for my phone back.

Lucy raised an eyebrow and laughed a little, “I know I can’t dance like you but ya think it’s too late to ask if I could be your dance partner?”

Now it was my turn to laugh, “don’t be jealous baby, now let’s get going there is a cafe with a chocolate pastry I wanted to try!”

I pulled her up ignoring the small pout and muttering “ ‘m not jealous” as I gave her a quick kiss on the cheek and dragged her out of the door.

After our loss at the World Cup final and a lot of tearful goodbyes to the other girls, Lucy and I made our way back to Barcelona and just took some time to decompress.

One of Lucy’s favorite things to wake up to was seeing me in the kitchen making myself breakfast, dancing in silence with my airpods in my ears without a care in the world.

This particular Saturday morning, however, she was confused because instead of a loose, messy bun, my hair was brushed and down.

Instead of one of my old, English training shirts, I was in a lilac crop top and denim shorts that showed off my legs and not my old PSG shorts.

As she got closer, the smell of her favorite perfume on me hit her nose, suddenly Lucy stood there wondering what day it was and did she fuck up and forgot some anniversary.

As I turned to go to our fridge to pull out the water pitcher, I caught sight of Lucy just standing by the kitchen island.

“Baby, you know it’s rude to stare” I tease and followed up with a quick kiss on her cheek “Good Morning, sleepy head”

Lucy remained silent for a beat before going, “Why are you all dressed up on a Saturday morning?...Did I forget something?”

She rubbed her eyes, lifting her clear glasses as she did so.

“Nope, our anniversary is still Bastille day, uh my birthday hasn’t changed and yours is still in October” I listed them off on my fingers and then continued as if I didn’t leave Lucy even more confused as I began cleaning the counter.

A pair of arms wrapped around me stopping me in my tracks as Lucy burrowed her head into my neck taking in the perfume I wore.

“Then will Miss L/N tell me where she is going dressed like this, hm?” She mumbled as she placed a chaste kiss on my neck.

“Going to get lunch with…ugh what was his name? The one I'm going to be dancing with for Strictly Dancing, baby” I say, nonchalantly, a smirk creeping at my mouth as I felt Lucy’s arms tighten around me and her mouth getting close to my ear.

Lucy did not show jealousy often but I loved it when she did. I loved teasing her but she would always dismiss it saying that she knew that I was hers so why should she worry. But the tone of her voice gave her away.

“Oh really?” She says softly in my ear before turning me around my back to the countertop now. My face remained unfazed as I nodded, even though I was loving everything about the interaction.

“Yes?” I nod over to the other counter across from me. “I made you some breakfast so ya don’t miss me too much, even cut you some fruit”.

The softness and nonchalant nature of my voice made her jaw tightened a bit.

“Want me to go with you?” she said not letting me go, still caging me in against the counter.

I thought for a moment and then shook my head “no” and simply replied.

“I’m a big girl. Don’t you worry, Lucia” My eyebrows raised slightly as Lucy pulled back.

Lucy moves her arms back to her side, “Fine, but I’m driving you”

She did end up driving me to the little brunch place and ignored my “protests” of “you don’t have to walk me to the restaurant, Luce” as she held me tightly at the waist, her hand possessively on the bare skin on my waist.

I let myself out of Lucy’s hold as I introduced myself to my dance partner. He truly was the object of every other girls dream…just not mine. He wasn’t unattractive at all. Even though Lucy came literally holding me at the waist, it didn’t stop my dance partner from subtly looking me up at down.

“Well, it’s great to meet a Euro Champion and a world cup finalist, (y/n)” he said avoiding Lucy’s glare through her sunglasses.

I stop him and laughed, “well technically two, this is Lucy Bronze, my partner, she was just dropping me off”

Lucy only extends her hand out to the guy and firmly shakes his hand and mutters out “pleasure”.

The guy only nods “well, I’ll make sure she gets home safely”.

I hide the smile on my face when I saw Lucy, still holding his hand, say bluntly.

“Oh? No, I’ll be picking her up, don’t you worry” the guy’s hand falling limp as she let’s go.

I give Lucy a hug and planned to just give her a quick kiss on the cheek but she pulled me closer to her by the waist and gave me a slow kiss on the lips,

Before I pull away, she whispered quietly in my ear, “just wanted to make sure he knows who you're coming home to”

The little brunch outing was interesting to say the least. The boy was bold given Lucy did stare him down when she picked me up like she promised. Especially as we left the restaurant but I, kindly, avoided his “subtle” advances of him trying to lead me to Lucy’s car.

What had been discussed about the dance and from what I could see is that I would be the main focal point and he would be, for lack of a better term, an accessory. I, of course, would not be telling Lucy that immediately, I was very much enjoying the attention she was giving me.

It being essentially a solo dance made it easier since I have training and I wouldn't have to rely on someone else to also learn the choreography…which allowed for me to work on a little surprise for Lucy with my extra free time.

“Baby, can you help me with something?” I yelled down the hall of our shared apartment.

Lucy came in shortly with a raised eyebrow “ yeah what’s up?”

“Remember how you said that you wanted to be my dance partner instead of what’s his face?” I say as I move some of our furniture out of the way to make space in the middle all while trying to not hit Narla in the process.

Lucy looked at me confused and with a laugh said, “I never said that…what’d you need though?”

I grab her hands and pull her to the middle of our living room “Well can you be my dance partner? You know with all the training and all I can’t really practice the choreo with him…so you want to help me?”

Lucy smiled and nodded as she pulled me closer to her and gave me a twirl “Ok, miss l/n, lead on”

My, sweet, Lucia can be a wonderful dancer when she puts time into in. She followed my direction even though the “quick movements of the dance” were something she would have to get used to but eventually after a couple of weeks. She was able to fluidly hold me and move with me.

Narla definitely got a kick out of her two moms doing something akin to the salsa in the living room. I would say Lucy, even with the groans and complaints, secretly, enjoyed it as well.

The day of filming came quickly and out of nowhere and we were filming it in the streets of Barcelona; there was just no way we would be able to fly to England and back, especially with pre-season and games starting.

I just want to give a special thank you to M&S for giving Lucy that outfit she wore during that one photoshoot we had with England, honestly, doing the Lord’s work. I had subtly asked that I would love to see her wear it again and again subtly suggested she wear it to the Strictly Dancing shoot and I just love it when she listens to me.

Luce was behind the cameras and chatted with the producers as they waited for me to come out of the dressing room ready to film.

As I was led out with my hand loosely in my dance partner’s I reveled the intensity of Lucy’s stare.

Why?

Well I had a silver, fringe dress with an open back and the dress came up to my mid thigh and matching high heels and, well the fact, my dance partner was trying ever so slightly to get closer to me as we were speaking with the director.

As we got into position, center “stage” in the streets of Barcelona, I look over to Lucy and give a quick wink to her.

“Dance the Night by Dua Lipa” started to play on the set. I began moving quickly and sensually and interacting very little with my partner. The fringe of the dress definitely did not leave much to the imagination. There were parts where his hand would find my waist but those lasted only a few seconds.

Lucy watched, not letting me escape her sight and hid her frown as she noted the times my dance partner would slow the movements of his hands once they reached my waist or when he looked me over as I danced a little ahead of him.

We did not anticipate it being a one take but it was something that I wanted as it was more real in a way. As the music faded and the host came onto the stage to interview me, I caught Lucy in the corner of my eye, and she was smiling so big and visibly more relaxed.

“(y/n), so happy you could be here and we are just so happy to celebrate you and your achievements. How does it feel?” I hold the microphone, still catching my breath

“I loved this to be honest, love the show, and dancing is just something that I enjoy other than football. Uh, it’s definitely been some time since I’ve performed at this scale but it was absolutely a treat, thank you all for inviting me” I said gesturing to the crew members.

“Well, again we are happy to be a part of this and we know that another Euro Champions is in our midst, and I know that you had a little something prepared for the both of you?” The cameras now focused on a very confused Lucy.

I laugh and continue, “Yes, Miss Bronze, she thinks she has been helping me practice for this sole performance but we were actually going to dance together as well, come on babe” I gesture for her to come onto the stage.

The interviewer walks off announcing, “and now for a special dance by the Euro Champions and World Cup Finalists choreographed by Miss (y/n) (l/n)”.

Lucy finally reached me and whispered, “You little sneak,you planned this didn’t you?”

I only wink and immediately pushed Lucy into position like we have been doing at home in our living room.

“Maybe~” The music restarted and Lucy with the biggest smile on her face did everything perfectly. There were some slips in the movement but they were replaced with laughter as Lucy held onto me tightly as the music faded.

She hugged me tightly whispering, “Im so proud of you” her hands finding their place at my hips.

I gave her a quick kiss on the lips as we both ignored the claps from the crew members.

“So…would it be wrong to ask if you can keep the dress?” I smack her slightly at the question.

I give her a knowing smile, “Dress is mine to keep, but I don’t want to keep it on for too long, Miss Lucia Bronze”

I have never seen Lucy excuse herself, thank all the crew members and wish everyone a wonderful weekend so quickly before carrying me off the set in the midst of a fit of laughter.

Let’s just say that these scenes from the recording quickly overtook the locker room dance in edits and well it was all worth the teasing from our teammates when it finally aired.

Propaganda Under Cut

Allura

Lots of people (myself included tbh) ship klance (Keith and Lance). In s8 the creators made Allura/Lance canon (but then they killed her off and left the ending ambiguous it was weird). Anyway the fandom treats her like she's the most terrible bitchy woman ever but all she wants to do is end the war and avenge her destroyed home planet. Yeah she wasn't always the nicest or always the best, but you could argue some other characters in the show aren't either and they aren't treated near as bad as allura. people really just hate her bc Lance liked her. I don't think allura/lance are good together, but I still liked her as a character and thought she was interesting and had a lot of growth during the show. she DEF is not evil like some people portray her as in fic or talk about her in captions on posts. I've seen people say that they HATE her and that she's the worst and I'm like ??? let her live (well sort of ig she is dead now). lots of fic writers use her as the villain which is so interesting to me bc the show literally has villains like use them. anyway allura so perfectly fits the bracket description she deserves better.

I hate to acknowledge my time in this fandom but I hate the way the fandom treated her more. Allura was treated like shit no matter what side of the Great Ship War you were on because she was always a threat to the biggest ships (klance and sheith). At best she got put into Background Lesbian or Consolation Prize Shallura (Space Mom-zoned) (She was not a motherly figure btw. She was just Black). At worst she was violently demonized for being ~racist~ (kinda not cool with the alien race that blew up her planet for a few episodes), complete with misogynistic language hurled at her (she got called a bitch sooo much). Allura was a good and cool character and the show did her dirty but the fandom was somehow worse.

i apologise for speaking the dark magicks, but amidst the voltron fandoms many, many transgressions, there were a particular subset of people who just hated this girl. the infamous klance wars of the 2010s kept this perfectly fine childrens cartoon character in the sights of shippers everywhere, and she (and her voice actress im sure) were subjected to years of petty squabble blown up to global perportions. ive seen hate, ive seen rants, ive seen fanfics that made her homophobic. girls been through the ringer, and even though voltron was never the show its fandom wanted it to be, i believe allura deserved better

Every Supernatural Woman

Supernatural is so mean to women and committed to queerbaiting but it still gives Sam and Dean lovers to kill. The writers kill and villainize them and the fans get the few that remain

wincest and destiel shippers cannot handle the idea of their blorbos having a Woman THREATENING their SHIPS god FORBID

It literally used to be a running joke that if a female character got introduced you knew she was going to die soon because fans would react so negatively to her "stealing" one of the boys away from the big ship, whether it be destiel or wincest

CRINGETOBER DAY 2: Self Insert

if i could insert myself into any world you bet your ass im going to nevada (just kidding id die in an instant but how cool would it be to see deimos in action?)

a story below about how this topic is actually all connected to my current favorite friendgroup atp

we wouldve never met if it wasnt for someone on the meme account, big_chungles on instagram (yes really!) who wanted to make a madcom themed account and were asking people to join as admins. a few days pass and i see an account named sanfordtits! i followed and had a few laughs for them for a while. and they announced their public server, so i decided to join it. and to my surprised i was dunked and candle wax that was cheese flavored and got cannibalized by kon and niko. (thanks kon for doodling the feast image.) there were a few major events in that server. i also met alfred in that server. yuck. anyways, there was a talent show and i performed osu mania there. it was soooo embarrassing since it didnt capture my audio and my osu was glitching and lagging so hard the judges werent able to even watch me play. niko won that talent show. we had some sort of rivalry-friendship thing going on and would bicker at eachother. (this is important later, i promise.) he was given the supertitter role since normal members were just named titters. i eventually got one myself, and zardy also got one too. due to being active members of the server, we would greet new members, talk alot yada yada alot of stuff. we were also thinking of doing a dating sim where i was one of the routes, and there was a lore behind it, i wont spoil it of course but i drew alot of stuff for it, and some writing which can be see on a doc here. there was also an fnf mod which you can actually see i had the sprites/concept art for it here. theres a lot! let me tell you that. and we had around 3 bgs, completed around 5 characters worth of sprites, a few music and charts done... until. i started to notice something, there was this admin where they babied and constantly praised just because they were a partner of another admin in the server. there was an art channel there right? i often post my art there along with others, and their pencil sketches would get way, way more attention than everyone else in the whole server. i bought this issue up with my friends and wanted their opinions on it, before calmly confronting the admins. and their reactions were not expected. they acted harsher towards us and called me a lying prick (?) i cant remember their exact words, but when i wanted to speak out against this behavior theyre doing and they wanted to shut me up as soon as possible. they were announcing that the servers getting shut down, and they were trying to ban me off of the server. admittedly i did something stupid and made a "kys challenge" joke to them which, well, they got mad at me for. i shouldnt have said something so vile back then. i was emotionally very immature back then. i hope theyre doing well now. i eventually got banned from their server, and they put me on blast on their instagram, which resulted in me losing a very close friend because their story captioned something like "these people harrassed my partners, theyre so gross, please block them" which.. well. youre kind of right but not really? we didnt harrass that person, only called out the admins.....childish behavior. although i did missacted and made a kys joke there too, so im not surprised on why theyre mad. i do take accountability for it. i cried for a bit. we were both wrong in this. but eventually made a new server for the people that were on my side. first it was named something like.. landfill? not exactly appealing, hehe. but it was eventually became bunkers, and its still my strongest bonds with my friends ever. and what a wild journey its been hm? if all of that never happened i wouldve never met the great friends i have today and my amazing loving boyfriend @woopdeloopei <33 (love you btw) its crazy how that spiraled but it all ended up pretty good in the end. a few of my friends got out of their depression and is happier now. i guess we matured! but seriously, so much history for such a small friend group. im so thankful for them right now. if it wasnt for that madcom admin on that meme account.... ah! i wouldve been just dead! thanks for reading all the way through the story!

STUFF FROM TFCON CHICAGO 2022!!!!! 💖

About the cosplay: It's Hawk!!! 🥰 And hey!! I did a much better job than Halloween last year I think 😹✨💙 This was what I meant talking about the variation thing in my last art post btw~ I had two people recognize my character!! The joy I got from that was undescribable 😩🙏💖

About the con itself: OH MY PRIMUS I'D BE HERE ALL DAY TALKING ABOUT EVERY COOL THING I SAW 😭💜 Let's just say that I was incredibly lucky to find the stuff I got, and I'm grateful to have gotten it (yes btw that is a screenshot from a tiktok I made about this, I'd put it here but Tumblr is really weird about posting videos so....check my TikTok ig? 😳) // It was truly awesome to see all these figures and things from shows I barely see anyone talk about yet which I care deeply for, NOT TO MENTION THAT EPIC TABLE OF ENTIRELY VINTAGE JAPANESE G1 STUFF WAAA 😭🙏💕💕 So yea, I got a lot of cool stuff, I met some ppl (including a nice conversation with the actual Aaron Archer!! He signed some stuff for me and even left doodles with the signatures!!! Like a smol Unicron or an Optimus!!! That was very cool 😌✨) I saw a lot of cool cosplayers who I didn't have the courage to talk to, but I'm glad I could admire all the creativity and passion from afar :] And the panels!!! Were all very interesting!!!! The Peter Cullen one was awesome, and the script-reading one at the end of the day was also very fun!!! I read for Minerva's part in the audition period, and though I didn't get it, I enjoyed that little moment! Plus, the person they ultimately chose did an amazing job with the script!! ✨ It was purely just cool to even see Minerva on that screen for a while--tbh, we stan the Masterforce rep I saw all throughout the day 😩💖🔥 or, well, I stan that...😳✨

About Meeting Peter Cullen: In short? Surreal ✨🙏 So, I'd signed up for an autograph when getting the tickets for the con! And that Optimus you see up there is the thing I meticulously drew as the print. I wanted it to be something special, so I literally poured my heart into that...tbh, it did turn out quite nice!!! ^\\^

From here I'll repeat exactly what I said in my Instagram post: Though brief, I'll never forget those couple moments. I was able to tell him that theres a lot I struggle with, but that Optimus has always been a real friend to me, and I thanked him for the role he's played in my life...after he signed my print, I asked to give him one, and then mentioned actually, I'd drawn these, and he was so impressed. He read the captions on the banners aloud and said "That's Optimus alright!" (I was grinning like an idiot sjsjsj) & before I gave the copy, he asked *me* to sign it for him 😭 the highest honor for me as an artist ngl 🙏 Reading my name, he said he was glad to have met yet another unique individual like myself...before leaving, we shook hands and he told me I should keep going, that I'm doing great. I couldn't stop smiling as I left.

So basically, Saturday was a dream--in fact, many dreams came true Saturday. Thanks, TFcon Chicago, it was a wild and fun ride I'll never forget~

wip dump :3

evil art style! my art style has quite a lot of range but I decided to default to chibis for this. I also didn't want to like, just draw one character bust up like i see most people do for it, so I wanted to come up with a way to show multiple characters on one page in an appealing manner

sonic drawing practice! I've been procrastinating this one because the lineart I've done so far on it is almost too good. I'm not sure If i can keep up the standard set

jame-joe doodles! really wanna keep developing this concept: I think it has decent potential! i don't remember how much I've shared about him but i don't think i've talked about it much beyond the base premise. Jame-Joe is inspired by characters like Dipper and Wirt, he's clever, is serious and studious in the pursuit of his goals, can be rather emotional and is prone to cowardice and insecurity, but can be determined when push comes to shove. I set myself up for a challenge here, as I want him to be expressive but limited by his doll body. It's a fun challenge though!

more 'i should start an etsy' drawings. i've seen people make like 'gacha blind bag' keychains and thought of the idea of those with aimaina-chan designs!

fdanfsdjk I almost feel bad for spoiling this one because I'm so excited to share it!!!! But i guess the sorta person to read through this post probably don't mind spoilers lol. I realized 'Timmy's a 2000s kid' and decided to go ALL IN on that. I dug deep into my memories and decided this kids going to need rainbow looms, slap-wraps, silly bandz, and those rubbery braclets where theres one white segment and one black segment and i have no clue if this is true but when i was a kid everyone always said the white segment was snow from mount everest and the black one was like sand from the bottom of the ocean. anyway! I had so much trouble wiht finding the right shade of pink that if i go trhough making a youtube video on these designs you guys will definitely here my color theory rant.

my main goal i can only describe as 'arcade carpet'

he thinks he's cool but knows he's lame. I gave him a fnaf shirt also, i dived deep into my brain as asked myself 'what graphic t-shirt from hot-topic would timmy turner wear' and i decided on fnaf because i think it's funny. so far these extra outfits have been going up in the amount of projection I'm doing. It started with spongebob's sweater vests, continued with Dannys stereotypical-transmasc fits, and now I'm lowkey just drawing stuff I've worn (actually danny's fit with the flannel I've def worn before but like, i assigned timmy a sanrio character(i gave him keropi because it's an easy way to incorporate green accents into his design lol)) anyway!!!

i had 'i want it that way' stuck in my head again and turned to queeries he proceded to give me the solution of chipi-chipi-chapa-chapa. this was not a solution obviously but whatever. i decided to use my new problem to animate myself dancing. sure. why not. if I upload this to youtube i think i should title it 'me at the function' of course i don't actually go to any functions so perhaps 'me when i' would be more fitting

I pulled them from an old game and tossed them into baldur's gate just for funsies and it's, uuuuuuh, going GREAT. They are not stressed about protecting everyone to the detriment of themself AT ALL (LOL). I actually didn't intend for them to go paladin when I first started playing them. I actually had planned to multi-class into druid. (Because I like to smack things with my BEAR hands. ...yeah, I'll see myself out.) Then my spouse and I got to talking about 'what would you be if you ended up being transported into this game' and while I would 'choose' druid or ranger (or perhaps bard) that wasn't 'technically' the question. So after a lot of self analyzing we both agreed (with gritted teeth) that we have some really strong paladin tendencies. Adding it to the character actually kind of made them more interesting to play (and more frustrating sometimes lol but I like the complexity) so its been fun. Anyhow the textures on this thing took me three days and my hands are cramped into claws. I 'forgot' that I could make shape into a brush (sadly) and did a bunch by hand before I got wise. I also forgot (for a while) that I have a lovely bunch of texture brushes from True Grit Texture Supply and those also helped save my sanity. (also it made it deliciously crunchy looking. Very happy.) It was a big debate on whether to leave the line art on or to take it off to get more of a dragon age 2 cut-out art look to it. I ended up keeping the lines (obviously) but I'm still mentally debating on which was better. (honestly I just wanted to be DONE) The tarot card, btw, that I used as inspiration was the ten of wands (which is why I went with ten hands) because I felt like it was fitting. I think I might do this for a few of my other tabletop characters because as eye strain inducing as it was I REALLY like the style and result. (and who hasn't put up with horrible things for AESTHETICS???? admit it, we all do it lol)

Anyhow, please admire the result of forty+ hours of me squinting at a screen.

I was also there after the fixing 👙 scandalous pictures and jordanians were horrified ,disgusted of course you won't see them talk about how much they hate the family on social media or publicly now they can face prison for giving their honest opinions and i have to admit after what i heard ,saw and even read i don't see how their monarchy can survive. No rich Arab royals who are way richer and don't depend on USA money to survive act like the jrf or Queen Rania especially on social media: are you a Queen a royal or a celebrity, did you forget you're arabs too or is this just for your PR moments? Give me an arab royal who does as much PR or editing posts on Instagram as them? Is that what they want people to look at ,their looks only?I think rajwa did a big mistake by marrying into them. She won't be loved as they say because of her shameless attitude ( i swear her past pictures and that 👙 scandal didn't pass 😅)because she was introduced by Queen Rania, a Queen they really really despise. Here's my opinion: I know that Jordanian people are mad at their royal family and they have every right to. Am not talking about their westernized lifestyle though, am rather talking about corruption and nepotism and all.

About the way female royals are dressing: I understand that people want a royal family that represents them as a conservative country and that's their absolute right. I also understand that they were shocked after seeing the bikini pics it's a cultural shock for them. However, I must say that I myself wish that the Arab world will be modernized, by that I mean that women should have the freedom to wear/ not wear hijab. I think it's a personal matter between them and God.

Queen Rania is trying to be modest in her public appearances and I hate it and love it at the same time. I hate it because I think it's a bit hypocrite ( they try to give a general idea about them being modest and all to get people to love them ). And I love it, because after all she's respectful and she's wearing modestly while doing her job and that's what's exactly required.

About the IG posts and the edited pics : yeah her account is like a fashion blog where most of the time the focus is on her looks. People like that ( not the Jordanians though) They also like the candid and private pics she shares about her family. I think the royal court is very much aware of that and they use it for they own sake. People love elegance, beauty and specially they love "love". That's why they got the media to talk about Rania& Abdullah's love story / H& R love story ( I don't mean that there are not love stories) but am talking about the pics they share , the captions they write and all ...

It kinda remind me of Katniss Evrdeeen in the hunger games ( love and the media ). Hunger games is btw my favorite film!

Here’s a fun little post I’ve been planning to do for a while:

So I, as I’m sure with many others, the first time seeing this lift: (or others like it) wondered how that can be possible without cutting his legs.

I was fascinated by it and wondered how they did it (for probably longer than I should’ve been) [there’s a great post somewhere that talks about the physics of it that I’ll link when I find it again]

(I do know how it’s possible to be done btw.. it’s because the blades have 2 edges- therefore distributing the weight across 2 points rather than one.)

Cleary I wasn’t the only one because there are several instances VM have been asked about it over the years.

[I’m sure there have been other instances on camera and several others, but I feel like 3 is enough to state my point.]

So, what I love about all these instances is when ever he/they are asked if it hurts when she stands on him, he either says straight out ‘NO’, like just ‘no’ or as in the last one interrupts to say ‘no, it doesn’t’ or kind of dismissively nods along as T answers explains that he doesn’t wear padding (but never says wherever it hurts him or not).

Let me get to the point here. Whether it does hurt him or not, he never says ‘yes’, implies that it does. He doesn’t even say ‘yeh but I’m use to it’.

This is essentially me on my I ❤️ SM bullshit because he doesn’t want anyone to think that (if it does) Tessa is hurting him. Whether it does or it doesn’t is not important. That they do these types of lifts so much and she hasn’t slipped, she just ‘rocks it’ (I’m sure it’s possible she’s slipped at some point). But I just love how he dismisses the idea that it hurts or he could get injured because, it’s their jobs. It’s the choreography. His job is to lift and hers is to be lifted.

Compare that to another couple answering the same question (I think the way in which they answer is interesting too, just as a comparison):

That seemed like a pretty definitive ‘YES’…..

I’m not trying to say anything nasty with this- I just find it interesting. And I think it’s another… kinda ‘trademark’ of VM’s- it’s just how they are with each other. It’s part of that thing where they will never ever say a bad word about each other, they will never coach each other, they will never imply that one of them did something wrong- like if one makes a mistake the other is quick so say it was their fault. They are so so good at their respective jobs. Tessa knows not to slide, so she doesn’t slide. Scott knows to put her in the right spot so he knows she won’t slide, and it’s his job to stay on balance. If each of them is doing their job properly and it still hurts- then it doesn’t matter if it does, that’s just the job.

It also, I feel to me at least, it also goes along with not shaming the girl for having to be lifted. I only say that coz I’ve experienced it and it’s a terrible burden to have on you that as the partner being lifted you need to be light and strong and hold yourself, yet people still think you are “too heavy”. (And that’s sometimes when the unhealthy habits start). And we know for a fact Tessa experienced this body/weight shaming as well and Scott never let her think that- always dismissed anything anyone had to say on the subject as bullshit- and rightly so because it was none of their business. He is the only one her weight effects as he is her partner, and he’s the kind of parter that (I’m sure) would say ‘well then I need to be stronger or have better form- it’s not on her’. He recently said (and has said in the past) how she is the best partner in the world because she holds herself so well, she was taught to feel as thought she was doing the lift herself. If there is an issue technically with a lift, it means they both need to fix something, it’s not one persons fault. They approach it all as a team and everything one does affects the other. So maybe if they are both doing everything right, it doesn’t hurt. But if it does, he doesn’t let anyone think it does.

In summary.. Scott is a prince and we should clone his ass..

I remember seeing someone make a video, different clips of them partying hard, crying, laughing, stressing, etc. They captioned it somewhere along the lines of how it’s important on having balance in life. It just made sense to me, you’ll have bad times and good times. Bad things will happen but don’t worry, good things will come. It’s kinda like karma. I speak Hawaiian so I just translated it and now follow by it as my motto. I work so much and don’t have time for myself so I stress “is this how it’s going to be my whole life?” I eventually do have an outing with a friend and I realize how beautiful it is out here when I’m not always stuck in the office lol. There’s something beautiful in experiencing these kinds of things in “life”. Hope I made some kind of sense lol.

Trying to be grounded and balanced is probably the best thing to learn to do. Realizing that both good and bad are part of life is important, as try to welcome both with open arms. And keep being hopeful, and lively. Creating time for breaks (we do have it, no matter how busy we are, but sometimes we just don't use it this way) is really important, especially mental breaks. We cannot only work and stress, or we won't be able to endure it all for too long. Times out are fundamental in life, be them with friends or just by yourself taking care/doing something you enjoy. So I hope you can try and have more of these in the future!

Now, your reading. Hmm... I think time is getting closer to meet someone from your soul family but it's also up to you. And what you said simply confirms it: give yourself the chance to go out and meet them. Unwind a bit more often, create yourself occasions. Enjoy more. You're here for this too, not just for working and isolating. This said, there's someone from your past (which could even just be a long time friend) that may be someone from your soul family. Someone pretty supportive, and probably you feel like you can easily open up with them. There's something you need to close or work on, in order to meet the others though (or another person). Something you need to see differently (and again I do feel we're talking about the same thing you mentioned yourself). Have you, by any chance, felt like you've been let down in the past and fear like you haven't really found your people yet and worry about finding them? I keep getting about an inner change (it could also just be about a point of view) you should confront yourself with. Something that relates with how you have always done something. Probably you should communicate more about yourself and your needs. Whatever, these people will come in and help you in many ways, maybe also on working on this. BTW balance came out in your reading, as you needing to balance more your emotional side. Take a breath here and there. You need and deserve that. But you already know... Maybe you only needed some type of confirmation here. :) Be brave and heal. Follow your heart and start anew. Past is gone, is time to see things differently and let others in.

shes genuinely a really tragic character who had potential for a really compelling, effective arc concerning grief, identity, healing, and finding trust again all while going through the inherent ordeal of being 15 years old….if she werent a female character in a shonen anime 😭😭 instead she gets sidelined during the show up until her big plot twist reveal after which shes immediately sidelined again. whatever i still love her and know her to be a character of all time who has suffered more than jesus. in my experience shes perhaps the female character who like. ive seen most *obsessively* hated due to her “getting in the way” of the ship b/w the male protagonist + deuteragonist (bc of her proximity to the both of them) u woild think shes the devil incarnate and not just. 15 and traumatised

She had a crush on Nagisa and they kissed and a lot of fans ship him with Karma so theyre mad that Kaede is there. She is super silly and nice but the fandom hates her for standing in the way of karmagisa.

she's a sweet person that was an actor and loves her sister. she is the main love interest of the main character but doesn't interact with him more than most of the other characters for a majority of the story. Often I have seen them removed from the story only to become some homophobic jerk that's desperate for the main characters love instead of letting her keep the good friendship that her and the main character had before the romance.

The group agrees with him.

The long haired drummer, Ethan, raises a hand and chimes in, "I love her very much. She is amazing."

"I lover her too," the guitarist, Thomas, adds, smiling.

The interviewer smiles back at them and agrees along, "and I'm sure it's mutual, you guys."

Damiano then, with his mischievous lopsided grin turns to the camera and says, "I don't mind dating older or younger." He points to the camera and shoots his shot in Italian, "if you want to go out with me, call me, "se vuoi uscire con me, chiamami." He seals it off with a wink.

His members turn to him and holler.

The interviewer, living for the drama, asks, "hey, hey, what was that?"

"He asked her out," Thomas laughs.

Ethan continues, amidst his chuckling, "It's like, if she wants a date, call him."

"Yeah right," Victoria says in a scolding manner, "as if she'd go for you."

"Well," Damiano clicks his tongue, "you never know."

"Well, I'm also available," Thomas says.

Victoria knits her brows in offence then says, "me too!"

Ethan, seemingly not sure of what was going on chuckles, "me three!"

There is an argument amongst them in Italian and it's all pretty chaotic.

I'm in a sparkly, golden dress for I too am at the AMA's, smiling at an interviewer.

"You have Måneskin quite whipped for you," the interviewer says, making me laugh.

"Why? Did you talk to them, did they say anything?"

"Uh yeah!" she nods, "I just talked to them a few minutes ago they were all all shooting their shot at you. Damiano specifically asked you out in Italian."

I throw my head back in laughter, "what? How do you know that, do you speak Italian?"

"No, but I have my sources, as in their cute drummer Ethan translated for me."

I break into another laugh then fan my face, "well," I click my tongue and wiggle my brows, "I know what I'm going to be doing tonight."
