there’s something funny about the people pissed at aziraphale for his choice in the end because they’re doing exactly what the show itself is criticising its characters of doing; not looking at things from the other person’s perspective

Forty Two.
Tumblr media
“Imani commented and said what about me, like she hasn’t got school, I refuse to hear mother about it too. I’ll comment back and say don’t worry during school holiday we will go” laughing to myself, I barely posted the picture of Ti and I and Imani jumped in the comment with a quickness, that is hilarious to me. Ti and I decided to go to Mexico for a few days, I’m child free of course, I left Aziel in the UK with his father. I didn’t want to leave him but then again I don’t want to be chasing him, it was hard to leave my son behind. He didn’t understand really, he waved me goodbye not knowing I ain’t picking him up “I posted that we got her next time” locking my phone “I knew she would hate us, I knew she would be saying something. I feel like mom is trying to keep Imani away from us, she said something like I made mistakes with us two, but Imani won’t go through that. I felt like saying Imani is crying on the phone to get to us, we aren’t the bad ones here, I mean ok. I fucked up, you fucked up. It happens, I think mom is being dense” rolling my eyes, I am glad Ti has said that and not me because she has been always acting dense towards me “you know she said that I gave Rylee her money, but with me she wants to wait more time or whatever. She said she gave yours because you’re a mother now, you have your own thing” I huffed out “I feel like my mom is acting like Rihanna, she isn’t being a mother. I should have said no to her when she told me to do that with Brian” Ti pulled a face “I’m in shock that she actually told you to do that, like what is wrong with her” I shrugged “she hates me, this is why I ignore the group chat, fuck that. I am ok about it though, I am not running to mom and dad anymore” Ti laughed picking her cocktail up “dad doesn’t do anything, he doesn’t know a thing. Let’s go and get another drink” nodding my head as I pushed myself away from the side, swimming across to the bar in the pool “back?” The guy at the bar said “we don’t want to remember tomorrow” I said laughing sitting on the bar stool, this water bar is cute, I like it “I can make it happen” I pointed laughing, I won’t be getting drunk “I’ll pass on that offer” I refuse, I rather just know what I’m doing with myself.
Looking over at my sister’ phone as she took the picture “this is like kind of the first time I’ve revealed myself in this manner you know, publicly anyways, just after Aziel I didn’t exactly want to show myself” Ti turned her phone to me “thank you, I look good” Ti pulled a face “hold on, you saying you can’t show your body off but yet you out here fucking these men” waving her off “in the dark yeah” Ti is side eyeing me “Brian was in the dark though” picking my glass up “how did that happen? I’m still confused because like I get mom set it up but why and how did you sleep with him?” Sipping my drink “it happened, I was drunk. But not drunk enough to not know what was happening, I fully knew it did but it was boring, I regretted straight off Ti, with Oakley it happened and lights were on. Like he saw it all, because I have that scar there, he saw it and he didn’t care like that. But I’m telling you now, these skinny niggas have the most lethal dick” Ti yelped out “you’re so right, they do. Like why though? You skinny as shit, fully expect their dick to be skinny too. I don’t know why but these men have big ones, I’m done with skinny guys, ugh. You know those gym freaks have trash dick too” I chuckled “how many gym freaks have you had Ti?” This bitch talking about gyn freaks, how many has she had “a few, but I’m a changed person now” raising an eyebrow “least you ain’t get pregnant” I kissed my teeth “you was caught lacking Rylee, but he’s here now so whatever but one thing I always check is that dick is covered” I huffed out, I was caught lacking “so how is celibacy going?” I chuckled “fucking boring!” She spat; I snorted laughing.
Holding my phone in hand waiting on Oakley to bring Aziel to the phone “mommy” hearing Aziel say “yeah, come. She’s there, look then” Oakley shouted him over, I guess this is Oakley new crib, it looks nice actually. Looks big, I chuckled seeing Aziel with his chain on and hair out “mommy!” I cooed out “hey baby, I miss you already and it’s only been one night, I miss my baby so much” he looks so confused, he’s confused on why I’m not close, he looked at Oakley “what’s up? You not going to talk?” He said, he is ever so quiet now and I feel bad “mommy” he just said, poking my bottom lip out “is this your new home?” I said, he didn’t react or say anything “not talking to me now?” Oakley leaned down “huh?” He said, “is this your new home?” He shook his head “my mom place, she did this room up” letting out an oh “but I do have a new place though, just bought him here. Don’t worry I’ll be taking him home” nodding my head “your mom did the home up after I left? New beginnings” Oakley laughed “you made that up now, you know that ain’t true, how is Mexico? Peeped the bikini picture” I grinned “peeped or stared?” I questioned “peeped big head, first I was like ass on my timeline then I peeped the mark on the hip” I gasped “no way!” We both laughed out “how you remember that? You fancy me too much” I shook my head “nah, nah. See you just being jarring, Aziel. Talk to your mom, I’m going to sit down” I sighed out “Aziel, why are you confused? What’s wrong? Tell mommy what you doing” he pointed behind him “daddy” nodding my head, he started speaking his nonsense words as he does “oh really, you slept in your big boy bed?” He shook his head “no big boy, why not baby?” I told Oakley he will want to sleep in the bed with him “I miss you son” smiling at him, he looks so confused, he doesn’t understand why I’m not there.
Blowing air kisses as Ti took a video “better be cute bitch” picking my drink up “it is whore, my sister looks beautiful” I need to stop drinking actually, this is my last cocktail “I was going to say, I heard your little conversation. Not with my nephew but with the baby father” placing my drink down “mhmm?” I said confused “just you both sound cute, like you was anyways. I just want to ask, are you both just going to co-parent or are you going to get back together?” Ti asking the hard questions now “I don’t know about that; I just think we need to reconnect in a way. I don’t know, I love him, and I can’t really be comfortable with others, I don’t know” I really can’t predict it “I think maybe I should let things just you know be as they are, I’m not chasing him, if he calls me, he does. Speak of the devil, weird” Oakley messaging me, it’s late in the UK, I know “messaged you?” She asked “he has” opening the message and it’s a selfie of him and Aziel “why is he even awake” tapping int he voice note that just came through “yo, yo, yo. Tell me why this child woke me up by climbing on me and then sitting on my face? He nearly stopped my breathing, anyways come home quickly. I think the kids, well not kids, I mean the one child. We need you back, well he needs you back. I need to sleep but this child is weird bro, moving mad for no reason too” he stifled out a yawn “right, bye” I can’t help but smile he sounds so cute “I want him back so badly” I admitted “I know you do but I want you to let him do it, listen to me Rylee. I think you should allow yourself to be open to it but let him do all the running, all the things. Just you relax, he misses you too” she is right, nodding my head slowly “I will” I breathed out.
I did say to myself that I wouldn’t drink much but I feel tipsy “you know what gets me, didn’t you ever have a scare, like a pregnancy scare? It can’t be just me that was dumb enough to get caught?” Ti is hiding it but I feel she might have “a scare, yes I did go through a scare but Rylee I acted on it, I made sure I had something always. I wasn’t going to be a mother at this age, I refuse to be that. I don’t think I ever want to be a young mother, I want to be in my thirties at least, I want to live, I want try, I want to have fun. I love my nephew but no” I snorted laughing “yeah well I took one for the team” I cringed “I feel like if, I mean if. IF you both make it, I feel like you’re going to be like mom, you’re going to have more kids, I see you with three. I think Oakley seems like a guy that would want more too, so I see it. You will be married too, even though he said he doesn’t do any of that, I feel like you are going to have that family, I think that clearly you found the one. You just got to hold it down, I think yeah, maybe if I found the right one I would but I am over that part. Also I feel like I don’t want to love” tilting my head to the side “what? Why?” that is weird “I don’t want to be hurt Rylee, when you give that away, you open yourself up to be hurt, I don’t want it, sorry” she has a point “true” I mumbled.
Eyeing up the waiter, he is cute “mhmm how is the Fenty empire?” I asked “water for me, please” I said to the waiter “good, you know how mother is but it’s hard work. When I think about it, now I am going through this, I am thinking how did mom do it. I get why she was tired; I get why she was away for so long too, she worked hard for it. For me to get in the zone I have to live and breathe Fenty, like being off work right now I am still getting emails, I am trying to not look but it’s hard. I feel like one small wrong move then I have made her business go bad, so I do try and talk to mom but then when I do she butts in and tells me I am doing this and this wrong, and that I need to fix this so I tend to not ask her a thing. But I have been busy really, Australia is another life wow. Like it’s better than America, I have met friends. Like the group chat we have, I told them that I am with my sister on holiday, and they all want to meet you, but they are good people. I have been drunk on my days off, out clubbing but guess what? Nobody knows, so yeah. Life is better, did I show you this” Ti showed me her lock screen “awww the first time you held Aziel, that makes me happy. I love that, I love that he adores his aunties and uncles, he adores dad, but mom doesn’t spend time with him since having the baby” I said “I think we both know what mom is like, she is upset with you so yeah. Also mom is annoying, what she did with you, like she didn’t need to get involved but she did” taking in a deep breath “yep” I swear I wish I never did that with Brian; I was so stupid.

Warning: tbb ep.16 spoilers, mentioned of killing people, inhibitor chip?, some kissing, grammar mistakes, typo (cause i didn’t proof read lol. im too tired to do that.)
A/N: anyway, i was so mad and sad about tbb finale, so i decided to write a fix-it fic. That doesn’t mean I hate the episode, this is just my version of story. im not really good at writing so...haha. that’s why im a gifmaker, also my main language is not English, so there would have some typos and grammar mistakes.

You and The Bad Batch were on the way to save Hunter. You knew this would be a trap, but you couldn’t help but think of a certain sniper, your lover.
You and the batch didn’t understand what had happened to him at first, his brother, your love. The way he called you and the batch traitor, the way he raised his gun to you, and the way he talked. This wasn’t him, this was not the crosshair you know.
Then, it turned out that the kaminoans had implanted inhibitor chips in every clone to make clones blindly follow orders, even killing the jedi.
“Good soldiers follow orders” This line kept echoing in your head after you heard Crosshair say it. This, this was not the crosshair you know.
***
“You and omega wait here” Echo told you and omega.
“No, we should stick together!” Omega protested.
You put a hand on Omega’s shoulder, trying to calm her.
“No, echo’s right” Wrecker agreed with him.
“Stay out of sight, if things go south we’ll send you a signal. Go back to the ship and contact Rex.” Echo added, looking at you and omega.
You gave him a nod and pulled Omega back to your side before watching them ascend to the training room.
You know how much Hunter meant to Omega, the way they interacted, and the way they cared for each other. You understood why the young girl looked up to him.
“Omega, I’m sure they’ll get Hunter back.” You reassured her.
“I know, and Crosshair.” She looked at you with her bright eyes.
You were a little shocked when she mentioned him. All this time, you tried so hard to suppress your feelings for him, your love for him. The batch knew that you missed him, they could tell. The way you stared into his empty bed, and the nights that you cried until you were too tired and the tears were dried.
“Yeah, and Crosshair…” You smiled sadly at the young girl.
***
When you and Omega joined the batch in the training room, you, Omega, and AZI stayed in one of the gun towers. That was when you saw him, your Crosshair. Hunter and he were tackling each other while Tech, Echo, and Wrecker were shooting the droids.
“I believe you may have activated a few too many droids.” AZI said to Omega and you.
“ We can see that, AZI.” Omega raised her bow, aiming for the nearest droid to Hunter and Crosshair. Meanwhile, you used your blaster to shoot some of the droids near the others.
***
After clearing out all the droids, you, Omega, and AZI joined the others on the ground. You walked closer to Crosshair and Hunter.
You could see that Crosshair was shocked to see you, the coldness in his eyes, mixing up with a tiny bit of shock.
The big scar on the right side of his head was horrifying, did the empire did this to him? Your heart almost broke into million pieces, seeing the love of your life like this.
“Crosshair…” Your voice almost sounded like a whisper.
For a moment, you see the real Crosshair, your Crosshair. But soon replaced by the coldness and aloofness.
“Crosshair, forget the empire. This isn’t you, it’s the inhibitor chip.” Hunter tried to talk some senses into him.
“Wrong.” Crosshair stared back at Hunter. “I had my chip removed a long time ago.” He added.
All of you looked shocked, Tech and Wrecker looked at each other, speechless. Hunter almost looked hurt.
“Since when?” Hunter asked.
“Does it matter?”
“Yes”
No. No. This is not Crosshair. The Crosshair you know would never do this.
“Cross, the empire lied about many things, what if they lied to you?” You asked, trying to hold back your tears.
“This is who I am.”
Crosshair tried to raise his rifle, but Hunter was faster. He stunned him before Crosshair’s attempt.
***
“Hunter, three Venators are descending on the city. We need to leave, now.” Tech stated.
“Wrecker, grab Crosshair. He’s coming with us.” Hunter grabbed Crosshair’s rifle and backpack, while you went to picked up Crosshair’s helmet.
You saw Omega gave Hunter a nod before walking away. Hunter caught you staring at him, so you gave a sad smile to him in return.
“He’s coming home with us.” Hunter said.
***
You and The Batch finally made it to Nala Se’s lab, Tech and Echo were currently trying to figure out a plan. After Crosshair and Hunter’s intense conversation, you saw him walking to the window and taking a seat to rest.
“AZI, come with me, I need your help on something.” You asked.
AZI followed you to Crosshair, you took a seat beside him.
“Crosshair…”
“What do you want?” He asked coldly.
“AZI is a medical droid, he can scan you to check if you still have the chip.”
“Indeed, I helped CT-5555 removed his and CT-5385’s chip according to my memory database.” AZI said.
“Fine.” Crosshair agreed reluctantly.
“CT-9904, this scan only takes a few seconds” AZI said before scanning Crosshair.
To be honest, you knew he still had the chip, you hoped he still had the chip. Cause there was no way, no way the Crosshair you knew would be like this.
“The scan is completed.” AZI said.
“So..?” You asked.
“CT-9904 still has his chip, the chip’s effect was weakened due to the injury from ion engine.” AZI answered.
You felt almost relieved?
The Batch heard it and rushed to you, “He still has...his chip?” Hunter asked, sounded a little guilty.
Echo, Tech, Omega, and Wrecker looked at each other, surprised by this unexpected news as well.
“That would be correct.”AZI replied.
“Could you remove it, AZI?” Omega asked, she wanted his brother back as much as any of you did.
“Yes. I’m capable of removing CT-9904’s inhibitor chip.”
“Do it.” Hunter said.
You stayed next to Crosshair while AZI removed his chip. The surgery was faster than you think, you hold Crosshair’s hand during the whole surgery, and you still holding it now.
“CT-9904’s chip has been removed. He should be awake in any minutes.” AZI stated.
You felt his hand pressing yours, “Crosshair?”
“I...I…”
“Hey, you’re okay now. We removed your chip.” You reassured him.
Crosshair looked away from you, his eyes filled with guilt, confusion, anger, sadness.
“Don’t you hate me?” He asked. “All those things I had done…”
Your hand reached out to stroke his face, “No. Never. I know it’s the chip, Cross. It’s not your fault.” You smiled at him. “I love you, always and forever.”
Crosshair put his hand on your face, wiping away the tears falling down your face. “ But I shot at you, I tried to kill you… I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry…”
“Shhh, I forgive you, Cross. All of it. I’m sorry we didn’t come to save you earlier…”
Crosshair sat up and pulled you into a hug, you melted into his touch, inhaling his scent. Your Crosshair was finally back to you, this is real. The sleepless night without him, the loneliness, the emptiness, the desperation, were all gone. Crosshair was back to you, alive.
“I love you too, cyare.” He said it back.
He pulled away a little so he could kiss you on the lips, his hand trailed to your nape, kissing you with force. You and Crosshair clung on to each other so hard, afraid you would lose each other again. That was when you heard Hunter cleared his throat, you two finally pulled away from each other.
“I know you two miss each other but this lab is about to collapse. and this is not very…” Hunter said and eyed Omega.
“Right, sorry about that.” You answered, then looked at Crosshair whose arm was still wrapped around you. “Cross.” You nudged him.
“Fine.” He gave up and retreated his arm.
“I see Crosshair still has his severe and unyielding personality.” Tech stated.
“This is called missing someone, Tech.” Crosshair said and pulled out one toothpick to throw it at him.
“Ha! He’s back!” Wrecker exclaimed and playfully punched Crosshair’s shoulder.
Crosshair pretended to show an annoyed face, but deep down you knew he missed his brothers.
“Listen, Crosshair. I’m sorry. We should have come for you earlier.” Hunter said. “I was trying to keep the rest of the squad safe, but you are one of us. I’m sorry.”
Crosshair didn’t say anything, just stood up and walk toward Hunter. For a moment you thought he was going to punch him, but instead, Crosshair extended his hand to Hunter.
Hunter looked at Crosshair’s hand then his eyes, he reached out his hand to shake Crosshair’s.
“We need to leave fast, the structure could not hold much longer.” AZI chimed in.
***
All of you finally made it to the platform, for once the Kamino is sunny.
Omega stared at the Tipoca City, which was all destroyed. “It’s… all gone.”
You looked at that direction, the place all clones called home was all gone. The Batch and you took a few seconds to process this, to accept the fact.
“We should leave before Empire’s scouts show up.” Tech said.
“You coming with us?” Wrecker asked, looking at Crosshair.
“Yeah.” Crosshair said and took out a toothpick, putting it into his mouth.
Hunter nodded at him before walking to the ship with the others.
You still stood next to Crosshair, “You ready?” you asked.
“Yeah.” He gave you a little smile then intertwined his hand with yours, leading you to the Marauder.
You didn’t know what the future would be, but one thing was sure. Crosshair would be right beside you, always and forever.

THE PERMANENT RAIN PRESS INTERVIEW WITH AZRIEL DALMAN
Tumblr media
He may only be 7 years old, but don’t let numbers fool you. Azriel (Azi) Dalman already has nearly thirty credits to his name! The accomplished young artist from Vancouver has had a big 2020, but there’s no slowing down for Azi, who has a number of exciting upcoming projects to share with the world.
Your older brother, Aias, is also an actor. While you are only 7 years old, tell us about your interest in following his footsteps, and what made you want to start auditioning for film/TV?
I loved seeing the completed films my brother was in but I didn’t really understand how he got into them. One day, I was 3 maybe, we went to a commercial audition for my brother and the Casting Director came into the waiting room and asked the kids to practice singing “Old MacDonald.” I knew the song and sang it also. They took the kids in to audition as a group and I asked why this was happening. My mom said it was because they were going to see who should be in the commercial where they sing it. I realized what an audition was then, it meant they were trying out to see who got to be on the video. I asked if I could go do it too and my mom said no because it was not my audition, so I asked if I could get auditions too. After that I got an agent. I never got to audition by singing “Old MacDonald” though so I guess that ship has sailed.
What are your favourite movies or characters?
I love Wall-E and Soul for cartoons. For TV Characters I like Jim and Dwight from The Office a lot. I used to want to be Jake Peralta from Brooklyn Nine-Nine and I think I definitely look like him! And of course I love the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe)!
What is your favourite snack from catering? Is there a food item that you’re most excited to see on the daily menu on-set?
My favourite is a drink, it’s the iced tea. I also like M&Ms but I’m only supposed to have the yellow or orange ones or my mouth will change colours which annoys the people who do makeup... I don’t want to stress them out. I like beef jerky and ramen bowls too but they usually hide those on the truck so you have to ask for them special. For lunch I like trying the new things but my favourite most recent new food was crunchy pork! The 3rd ADs are so nice and deliver the food to my trailer but I like to go for a walk after we eat in the trailer and say hi to the catering people and look at the dessert. On this last project, they learned I liked watermelon on the first day and kept keeping special watermelon for me.

You recently wrapped Coyote Creek Christmas, your first Hallmark Christmas Movie! Congratulations! You worked opposite Ryan Paevey (as your father) and Janel Parrish, tell us about your experience working with Ryan and Janel.
Ryan and Janel are the best humans. They are both down to earth, kind, patient, friendly, funny, loving, talented, and FUN. It was so much fun to work with them because they treated me like a real friend and with a lot of respect. They included me in all of their talks and fun, and never made me feel like I was annoying them because I am a kid. I was very excited to see them every day and now I ask to see their Instagram posts because I love looking at their pictures! I am not surprised they work a lot, they are so good at acting and being around them is so easy. Ryan knows everything about bugs and Pokémon. Both of them are obsessed with dogs and when they saw someone walk by with a dog, they would hug and kiss the dogs... random dogs! It was really funny. They taught me a lot of acting tips also, both on purpose and by accident.
We saw on Instagram that Ryan took you to see Free Guy at the movie theater! Was it easy for you to bond as father-son?
It was easy and instant and it feels like I’ve always known Ryan as a real uncle or something. Sometimes when I am someone’s kid in a movie, I have to do real acting to pretend I am their kid, not because they aren’t nice but because I don’t know them well and I don’t really get to know them too well on the project. With Ryan I didn’t really have to do any acting to pretend I knew him, because I got to know him fast.
Tumblr media
What can you share about your character, Noah Bailey?
I don’t think I can say too many spoilers, but I will say that Noah gets to be sarcastic and funny, and I love that. I don’t get to be funny on a MOW (movie of the week) usually, I just get to be cute or scared or sad. Noah was supposed to be a 10-year-old so I got to do some smart lines! And we have some funny scenes too. Ryan said one of the scenes we have together is his favourite scene he has ever done because it’s so funny and cute, and I thought that was really cool.
You can now cross this career goal off your list! Why was a Hallmark Christmas Movie on your bucket list; what do you (and your family) enjoy about them each holiday season?
Christmas movies are the kind of movies you watch every year like a tradition and I love things that are a tradition. My family lives in Vancouver, Canada but MOST of my family lives in America so we don’t get to see them at Christmas. I wanted to be in a Christmas movie so my family far away could see me on the TV at Christmas when they are missing me and so I can watch the movie with my kids when I’m a grown up and say “haha that is me!” For Christmas my family puts up a tree and we eat really good food. We also watch Christmas movies like Rankin/Bass movies, Home Alone, and Die Hard which is definitely a Christmas movie. I basically love everything about Christmas, especially the decorating. My birthday is 2 days after Christmas so I think I’m a Christmas Boy for sure.
Is it funny to see Christmas decorations and fake snow in the summer?
It was a little bit funny but it was also confusing! My brain kept forgetting what season it was. My mom warned me over and over again with every Christmas movie audition that it would be hot, but the joke was on her because we actually had some days that were cold! There were only one or two reallllly hot outside days. We got very lucky. I think the times it was hot on set it was mostly because of the gear and no air conditioning being on. Air conditioning is too loud for movies, I think. It wrecks the sound or something.
You are set to star in the short film Dragon Fruit. What can you share about this project?
Dragon Fruit is going to be so good. The Director, Jeremy Brown, is really nice and smart and made the whole experience really special for all the actors. His props and special effects are amazing... he makes them almost all himself... and the film is going to be... guess what... a sci-fi! It’s post-apocalyptic. A funny thing about it is that I am very dirty in the film so I would go to set clean and they would basically put fake dirt all over me and make my hair messy, then when I left they would clean me up! On one of the shoot dates I had to do a live interview in the middle of the day for another project, so they had to make me dirty, clean me up, and then make me dirty again, and then clean me up again!
Tumblr media
Yvonne Chapman will play your mother. She is remarkable in the CW’s Kung Fu as Zhilan. Did it surprise you to see her as the villain in the show?
I was shocked she was a villain because in real life she is definitely NOT a villain type, she is so nice. She is obviously very good at acting! But I am not surprised she is so tough in that show because she does some really tough things in Dragon Fruit too! Yvonne is really nice to work with also, she sits and talks to me and makes jokes with me. I am wrapped on Dragon Fruit now which is sort of sad, because we did it for like 6 months or something, but at least it means the film will be out soon.
You have a part in the action sci-fi Moonfall out next year, and you even made it into the teaser trailer! How exciting! While you likely cannot say much about Sonny Child, what can you share about your initial reaction to booking this movie?
Everything about Moonfall was very exciting. The audition was one of the first ones I got after the forced break by COVID and when we saw it was in Montreal and they were auditioning kids all over Canada we thought it was a long shot, but auditions are opportunities that can be very rare, so you should always do an audition if you are comfortable with it, and always do your best. Anyway yeah, this one was far from Vancouver so when I booked it, we were extra shocked and grateful. Honestly even after the booking, we were not sure it would really happen because of the virus and how things changed every day, so we did not even believe it would happen until we were on the plane! Montreal was the best, I loved it there so much, and I hope I get to work at Grande Studios again!
Did you get to meet and interact with your director, Roland Emmerich? What did you learn from him, and had you (or maybe your parents!) watched any of his previous films?
Yes of course, Roland was the Director so he directed me! Before we left, I watched Independence Day and I was very impressed and thought “This guy really knows what he is doing! I better know my role well!” Roland was very nice and so was Harald (Kloser). They both gave me lots of compliments and I loved that! It was very full-on too, I worked every minute of my time on set there with the exception of my legal breaks and lunch. I loved it so much and I hope I will get to work with Roland on another project someday. I don’t know how to specifically describe what I learned without spoilers, but yeah it was a huge learning opportunity.
Tumblr media
What is your favourite object you have gotten to take home from any set?
It’s impossible to choose just one! These are in no order, ok? The first thing is actually TECHNICALLY a lot of things because I often get to take home wardrobe from my character’s “closet” when we wrap. I am obsessed with clothes and was given really cool clothing from the costumers on many sets. Most recently I got a mint hoody I love. I audition in those clothes a lot for good luck. The second thing is a special prop that Jeremy Brown MADE me on Dragon Fruit as a wrap gift. There is a super cool secret weapon in the movie that I will not spoil, and Jeremy MADE me a safer toy version of it. Before my mom saw it was a toy version, she looked very scared when he handed it to me! Third, there are two special items Noah Bailey ALWAYS has with him in Coyote Creek Christmas (no spoilers!) and Ryan, David Strasser (the Director), and Antonio Cupo (the Executive Producer) presented them to me TO KEEP AS GIFTS at wrap in front of the whole crew. It was very special. I am saving these things forever, even some of the clothes! AND one more ok? Fourth, I get to keep the signs that say my name on my set chair and/or trailer door during projects. I hang those up on my wall in my room.
Is there a dream role or character you would like to play in the future? If not character, are there any specific film/TV genres or franchises you would like to be in?
Ok so here’s the thing. I had a few wishes that I wanted to come true in acting... one was the Christmas movie... and one was to play a very specific other actor’s sibling in something. GUESS WHAT? Both those things came true in 2021. Do you know the odds of that sibling thing coming true... my mom said it seemed impossible! But it did come true SOMEHOW. So now I am setting my goals super high and not worrying about how impossible they seem or how many there are. My biggest next goal is to be in Marvel ANYTHING. And you know what, I think Ryan should be in Marvel too, so I think my next goal is to be in Marvel with Ryan! I also want to be a voice of a video game character pretty badly! I also want to do some comedy!
What are your favourite places to visit or eat at in Vancouver?
I am obsessed with sushi and Korean food and lately my favourite place is Shabusen Yakiniku House because you can get both. There’s also a place on Granville Street called The Colony that has a bunch of old arcade games and I love that place too but we haven’t been since before COVID. I hope it’s still there.
Tumblr media
You also enjoy other forms of arts like ballet, reading, and writing comics. How do you find the time for all your activities, school, and your growing career in film?
Oh I have a lot of free time. It’s weird. It sounds like I do a lot of stuff but lots of other kids tell me they do like 10 activities really well! I don’t want to do 10 activities because I really like relaxing, so instead of doing like 10, I want to do a few and just do them really well. Ballet is great because I feel like a ninja in the clothes, I don’t have to audition to do it, and it’s definitely a sport. Reading and writing comics I can do while relaxing, and even when I’m on set!
Tell us about the role your parents play in your life and career, not only for you but your brother as well! You keep them busy, but they must be so supportive of you.
My mom does mostly all the acting stuff like keeping track of the auditions and taping and going to set. My dad is a little nervous about going to set for some reason, but I think he would be fine! We are very busy but no one seems to ever complain. The only time it’s a little sad is when we are apart for long during filming but we always do video calls then.
For other young actors like yourself, do you have any advice for how to be confident in front of the camera? What (or who) has helped you prepare for roles and memorize lines?
I think to feel confident you have to know what you are doing. I was confident when I was 3 for some random reason, and then I took some acting classes at LeBlanc School of Acting and those helped me know what I was doing for sure. I have had lots of coaches teach me stuff like Julian, Athena, Kirsten, Natalie, Brian, and Beatrice are a few of their names. Sorry if I forgot anyone! For most specific auditions, I use the things ALL those people taught me and then I work with my brother on the specific scripts. Oh and on the set of my last movie, my new actor friend Naomi King told me that you should learn the scene not the lines... but you will definitely learn the lines once you learn the scene!
We have our signature question for you – if you could be any ice cream flavour, which would you be and why?
Well... I would not want to be ice cream! But if I had to be, I’d definitely be Green Tea or Mango.
Thanks for the insight into your projects and thoughts, Azi! We cannot wait to see you return to action on our screens, and follow as your career grows. To stay up to date on Azi’s upcoming projects and get a behind the scenes look into his busy and exciting life, follow him on Instagram.

Sworn Protectors
Tumblr media
After the two left the Heartwood Estate N'yami and Alexi ventured off to the Seeker's workshop off in the Goblet, N'yami was quiet for most of the trip and if Alexi tried talking with her it would be short replies. The look on her face showed she was deep in thought, and she was probably forming multiple plans on how they could locate those that were captured. Once at the house Yami opened the door to let Alexi in first then followed in. "Probably head downstairs and chat."That way I can also work on blueprints for that blade of yours."
Alexi wasn't much for conversation either as he followed N'yami to her shop. While she was working out plans, he was busy worrying about Shara... He almost walked right into N'yami when they arrived, not noticing they had even reached her workshop! "Oh, thank you," he said, stepping inside and taking a glance around the place. He nodded to her suggestion without looking at her. "Of course. I just want to make sure my weapon is up to snuff, considering I've never faced one of these creatures before." After a bit more admiring of her shop, he followed her down to the lower level.
N'yami walked over to the metal door and pressed a button to open it, once they were both through the door would close behind them to offer more privacy. It was mainly there to cancel out any sounds while the Miqo'te worked in her shop, pray to the twelve if her kits ever woke up during nap time. That was a battle of its own. "Make yourself comfy anywhere, and sorry for the noise, I know it can get a bit loud down here."
Alexi shook his head. "It's no bother." Drawing his gunblade from his back, he set it on the table between them, handle pointed towards N'yami, so she could inspect it if she wished. "Have you ever fought these spider things before?" he asked, settling down into a nearby chair but not quite looking comfortable. It wasn't the seat, he was still just anxious, his thoughts dwelling on the missing Shara…
N'yami reached forward to inspect Alexi's blade, she was careful with it and the way the Seeker looked it over was as if one was examining a piece of art. "I haven't, but it's not my first battle with allagan tech, I'll go off to Azys Lla sometimes to get cores for projects so I know how to get them down." Her gaze shifted from the blade to the Hrothgar in front of her. "And from the sounds of how these bastards work they drain one of aether, well, they're not gonna want mine that's for damn sure. But the pressure of it will have them comin'."
Alexi grunted and sat up, arms folding over his chest. "You're the one going to be using the dampener though, correct?" he asked, leaving the mechanical blade in her capable hands for as long as she wished.
"Sounds like it, we'll see how that goes." She offered a shrug before placing the blade carefully back onto the table. "I'll be honest, I'm not a patient person, even though we were told not to go out on our own I can't exactly just...sit here and do nothin'. The longer we wait..." Yami paused in thought and her brows furrowed for a moment at the possibilities of what could happen to those captured. "I don't want to think of what's happenin' while they wait for us."
Alexi grunted and his brow knit, showing his restrained frustration. "I agree... But while I want nothing more than to get my Shara away from those things and safely back home, as they said, we don't even know where they are." He breathed an exasperated huff and slumped back in his seat. "As much as I wish it wasn't so, this is our best bet... Though I'll fight like hells once the time comes. How dare they take my..." He cut himself off and just huffed again, glancing away for a moment…
"That's the thing, what if I told you I've come up with a plan to try and find the base?" Leaning back in her seat Yami crossed her arms and sighed softly. "It's a dumb plan and I know it but they took Ma, and Shara's a good friend of mine. I don't know Vanriri but I'm still willin' to blow shit up for that lalafell. We would go after Heartwood's little outin'. See if we can get any information where the base is and if so, well, I'm goin' whether you come or not. I plan on goin' to Coerthas and gettin' one of those buggers to come after me, essentially I'm gonna get myself captured and your gonna follow it. I'll be safe don't worry, I'm not exactly someone who gets taken out easily."
Alexi growled slightly at the plan. It was dumb! And so reckless! ...but it had piqued his interest. "I can see why you wouldn't have brought this plan up with the others... What makes you so sure you'll be fine if you get captured? How could I track you if these things are swarming?" His foot had started to tap anxiously. He did want to just storm their nest and free all of their friends but it still sounded so risky!
"They mentioned stunning darts are used, I can make a barrier on my skin to take most of the blow and just play dead so they take me. Once we're close enough I'll take care of the horde then get us in." The Seeker leaned forward and held her hand out so Alexi could see the red aether twirling around her fingers, it settled upon her skin and a quick shimmer ran along her skin. "As for trackin' me, I'll get ya a crystal filled with my aether, the closer ya are to me the brighter it glows."
Alexi watched the aetheric demonstration with interest, leaning forward and rubbing at his chin. "This... is so dangerous... It's a terrible plan... But I think it's better than waiting around." He gave a nod. "I trust you to take care of yourself but still... I'm relying on you to lead me to my... to our friends."
N'yami couldn't help but let a grin curve her lips. "I think it's cute how much ya care about Shara." Of course, she had to tease him about it. "And don't worry, this isn't my first time doing somethin' stupid but if we get them out we don't say a word we just come up with a lie on how they came out cause I don't know about you but I want to avoid gettin' yelled at. Cause I also have the Old man to worry about comin' after my ass for doin' this." Yami didn't care if she got yelled at. She usually just tuned it out while daydreaming about other things.
Alexi snorted. True, he wasn't hiding it very well. "More than we let show in public. Shara means the world to me and it took all of my will to not charge out of the house when I heard she had been taken," he said, that low growl returning to the tone in his voice. He took a deep breath and cleared his throat. "I don't care what any of the others say. If we can get them back ourselves, let them talk and scold. The only thing that matters is getting them back."
"Seems we're on the same page then, we'll still tag along for the outing and once we get that info we need we head out, you can crash here I got extra beds and I plan on stayin' up late to work on upgrading yer blade for ya. If ya find you can't sleep can always help me with yer blade."
"So, once we're out with the others to try and trap one of those things, that's when you want to let yourself get captured. I follow your aether through your crystal and once we find the nest, I break you out and we find the others. Correct?" The Hrothgar questioned.
N'yami offered a small shake of her head. "Once everyone starts headin' back we'll say we're headin' back to my shop to work on yer blade upgrades, but we'll just linger until everyone in Heartwood has gone back to the house. Then we put our plan into action."
Alexi nods with a grunt. "Fine. I'm in all the way. I just pray you're not going in over your head here. You'd better be able to resist. The last thing I need is an aetherically drained partner or another captive."
"I've never been drained of aether in my life if anythin' I can drain those bastards of aether." The Seeker grinned. " Trust me when I say I don't go down easy, I've been by Shara's side with void huntin' and we always came back."
"I'd ask her if she were here. Forgive my skepticism, but I've never seen you in action to find out. Just know that I'm putting all of my trust in you."
"Eh, yer fine, and I understand, I've been hidin' out in my shop lately so no one has seen me in battle for a while. But I promise ya we'll get them back." N’yami always kept to her word, she would make sure they go those missing back.
Alexi nodded. "I'll hold you to that." He glanced around, then stood up and rolled his shoulders. "Well, without plan set, I'm going to take a bit of a walk, and then I'd like to see the guest bed if you don't mind. I don't promise I will sleep well, but I'd like to at least try."

((Originally begun as response to a prompt (that ended up another entirely), this got away from me and became it’s own thing. Since it’s a FFXIV Write 2020 freebie day, time to finally yeet this draft out after sitting on it too long. Also below the cut for those who prefer Tumblr.))
“We have time before these negotiations resume,” Merlwyb said. “I suggest we stretch our legs and clear our heads before meeting with the Emperor again, now we have a firmer strategy.” The others readily agreed.
Nanamo grabbed Alisaie’s attention about another matter, leaving Aeryn free to slip outside. She waved past the Alliance guards to go a short way down the path to a small, rocky clearing she had noticed earlier. Both forces’ camps sat on either side, but straight forward were the dark hills and valleys of Ghimlyt. Not the most calming or picturesque view she had ever beheld, but more open and empty than a tent full of politicians and soldiers.
The footfall of a man in heavy armor was unmistakable, and she looked back to see who had followed, blinking in surprise at an unaccompanied Emperor Varis, his guards left several yalms away. “I had hoped for a chance to speak privately,” he said.
Aeryn stood stiffly, watching him. “I wondered at your request for my presence. I’m not much for politics—my skills lie elsewhere.”
“I am well aware.” He tromped up alongside her, his own gaze looking over the landscape. “I wanted to take more of your measure, given our last meeting was cut short.”
Aeryn shrugged. She turned back to the scenery.
Varis frowned. “No accusation or rejoinders? Or have you learned the futility of such from your leaders?”
She disliked how he said that, but kept herself neutral. “There’s no point. We were both there.” Her Echo caught a whisper, as she remembered who else had been in Ok’Zundu that day. “But you weren’t there,” she added quietly. “When we faced Zurvan.”
It was his turn to stiffen and Aeryn almost found that impressive, given how rigid the man already was by nature. “I have heard the tale from my soldiers. But I would hear it from you, eikon slayer.”
“We fought back and forth across Azys Lla in the course of our research into the Warring Triad,” Aeryn began bluntly. “As we did, it became apparent that the failsafes the Allagans built into the facility had been purposely sabotaged from the beginning, to allow the imprisoned eikons their freedom. A plot of the goddess Sophia’s followers, hoping to rain her and Bahamut’s wrath both upon the old empire. That didn’t happen, and so they waited for four thousand years.”
“Until the Archbishop’s foolhardiness woke them, and drew our attentions to Azys Lla and its potential,” he said.
“Its nightmares,” she answered. “The creatures and machina remaining are twisted. Little good can come from what torments they inflicted on others.”
“Perhaps you are lacking imagination. A debate for another time,” Varis continued, almost hurriedly as she glowered up at him. “I wish to know about Zurvan, not the lesser creations of Allag.”
Aeryn grit her teeth and gazed out across the fields again. “The archons set wards to keep Garlean soldiers out of the facility. But the damage done by Sophia’s minions had been enough. Even only half-awake, the Demon’s power broke our wards.”
She looked to Varis again. “That’s when van Hydrus came to us. Our prior clashes had ended in stalemate and escape. That time, he asked for our aid. His soldiers were struggling to keep Zurvan’s minions from waking their master, despite the risk to their own minds—and when we arrived, many had been turned, fighting their own squad mates.”
The floors slick with blood, the screaming sounds of those centaur-like beings, the guttural roar of the eikon itself as it half-woke, Regula’s weapon cleaved in twain…
“How did Regula die?” Varis asked when she was quiet for too long.
Aeryn took a moment to clear her throat. “There were...aether collectors, to feed Zurvan and grant him strength. We had to disable them. But only three of us could get close: myself, another Scion with the Echo, and a boy who also bears the Blessing—our expert on the Warring Triad.” She noted his ever-deepening frown but continued.
“The archons tended to the wounded, trying to get as many as possible away from the eikon. Krile and I fought our way through and broke our generators, but Unukalhai was hesitant. For all his knowledge and skill, he’s still a child. So the Legatus dove into the fray to protect the boy and destroy the generator. Which he did--But Zurvan had awoken enough to take a swing to defend his thralls. His sword broke Regula’s. And…” Aeryn stopped, realizing she was hugging herself as she remembered.
Before Varis could speak she continued, letting her arms drop to her sides. “His last words were that he believed the Echo to be the only true way to destroy eikons, and so judged Unukalhai’s life more valuable than his own. He...spoke of you, what you did for him, and how he gladly gave his all in service. And he bade us complete our mission, end Zurvan’s threat.” She met Varis’ cold, dark gaze. “So I did.”
They were silent for a long moment. “Thank you,” the emperor finally replied. “The reports said much the same.”
“You thought I would lie about what happened?”
“No. All reports name you an honest woman. As I said: I simply wished to hear it from you.”
“I...I am sorry. For...I wish things had turned out differently.”
“Perhaps next time you won’t take a child onto a battlefield.”
She frowned up at him. “Believe me; I didn’t want to. But we don’t have a choice. And you don’t know all the circumstances. Unukalhai’s no ordinary boy.”
“But he is a boy. Unused to battle, and so one of our best, my onl--” Varis paused, taking a breath to collect himself. “You wonder why we call you savages, when you justify such.”
Aeryn bristled. “You have no room to talk. The empire’s no stranger to child soldiers--but I suppose they don’t matter if they aren’t Garlean.” She bit her tongue before mentioning the Resonatorium.
His lips pulled back in a sort of grin. “There’s the anger I expected. Nor are you above the same tit-for-tat as your leaders after all.”
“We can spit facts at one another all day. It doesn’t change anything.” Aeryn clenched her fists to stop their trembling--and the urge to throw a punch. That would be a helluva thing to do at a negotiation. Her eyes snapped up to his again. “Or are you trying to goad me?”
“Hrmph. No,” he said emphatically, and she believed him. “But we should each return to our respective camps, and make preparations for said negotiations to continue.”
Aeryn took a shaky breath as she stepped back. She did not trust herself to speak--she had no conscious idea what to say--so merely nodded, not looking away from him.
After a long, awkward moment, he finally broke eye contact and turned, stalking back to his guards, armor clinking with each weighty step. Aeryn waited until he was out of sight before returning to the Alliance side.
Lyse was waiting for her near the large tent set up for the parley. “There you are!” She exclaimed, relieved. “Were you talking to Varis just now? Or was I imagining things?”
Aeryn shook her head. “Not imagining. He was asking about Regula van Hydrus, and the Warring Triad.”
“The legatus of the VIth Legion?” Lyse looked down. “Honestly, I’d forgotten; you ended up working with him in the end, right? He saved Unukalhai.”
“And I told the emperor so,” Aeryn admitted. “According to some of Regula’s soldiers, he was Varis’ friend.” She frowned, looking toward the Garlean lines. “Maybe his only one.”
“Don’t tell me you’re feeling sorry for ‘His Radiance’?”
Aeryn scoffed. “Hardly. More...understanding, I think. Or trying to. What would that do to a person; to have only one other that you could trust and rely on?”
“And then lose them?” Lyse finished. They exchanged concerned looks, before Lyse let out a deep breath. “I think that’s enough sympathizing with the devil for one day. Come on; the others are waiting.”
The Alliance representatives were stunned by Varis’ candor and zealous proclamations. Aeryn could barely hear the others' responses, thinking instead of Gaius Baelsar’s own impassioned speech as they had ridden the lift down to the Ultima Weapon.
He had called Eorzea a land riddled with falsehoods, lies propped up by weak leaders to placate a weaker populace. But if what Varis said about the first emperor--his own grandfather!--was true, if everything about the Imperial agenda was just another scheme of the Paragons...
Nanamo’s certain voice began to cut through the haze. Aeryn focused on the Sultana, her own surprise giving way to pride in the young ruler, how far she had come since their first meeting under the Sultantree.
“And you, Warrior of Light?” the Emperor demanded. “Would you refuse me as well?”
Aeryn felt everyone’s eyes turn her way. She wished they wouldn’t; the attention was as smothering as an Ul’dahn heatwave.
She met Varis’ gaze. “Your prize is a lie and your masters demons,” she said bluntly. “I’ll stop you and the Ascians--no matter what.”
He sneered. “I thought you had more sense. Don’t you see? Regula was right! The Echo is crucial not only to ridding the world of eikons, but in saving it entirely--returning it to its original, natural state. That is what the Ascians mean--and what they fear in you.”
Aeryn glared. “Regula died because he believed another’s life worth more than his own--his last words were of service, of stopping the eikons and their followers from causing a Calamity, not helping them bring more about! If you think after all we’ve struggled through and accomplished, that I would ever agree to mass murder, then you didn’t ‘take my measure’ at all. I’ll defend Eorzea--this entire world--from your madness with everything I have.”
It was more than she usually said at such meetings, and she felt her friends’ eyes on her even as she and Varis glared at one another.
“It would seem the Alliance is of one mind on this matter,” Nanamo said firmly.
The meeting ended as Aeryn had assumed--despite all hope--that it would. She kept her eyes on Varis until he had swept out to bring the Empire's hammer down upon Eorzea for their defiance.
She wished, once again, that events in Azys Lla had ended differently. Perhaps losing his singular friend had left Varis no one else to discuss matters with, had left him open to the Ascians’ manipulations and the wild idea that any scheme was worth it to defeat them at their own game.
Thinking back to the empty bodies currently in the Rising Stones’ infirmary, Aeryn could almost understand such desperation.
Almost.
She joined her comrades as they prepared for war.

Heated
Request: So my ac quit suddenly last night and I was thinking about it, I feel like Crowley can stand heat incredibly well (cause ya know hell) and I was wondering if we could get something with Crowley and the Reader going at it cause the AC is out and its hot?? (Possibly shirtless Crowley?? Fluff? Idk do what you want with this)
A/N: Sorry i fell off the face of the planet for a while. I’ve had to deal with a few things mentally and i think i’m finally in a good head space to write. So i will continue with the requests in my inbox, but will not be accepting anymore until those ones are done. Those who requested them have certainly been waiting long enough. Once again i apologize. I think i’m here to stay this time
Warnings: Language, mentions of death (very little), and unedited
It was unbearably hot. If you thought that a regular summer was hot, imagine The Hottest Summer in London History. With no A/C.
You were sat on Crowley’s throne in a sports bra and athletic shorts. The heat had gotten to you long ago, not even allowing you to enjoy your days off. You had requested the days weeks ago in excitement, imagining a romantic and cozy week in with your boyfriend. However, it had turned into a sweaty, angry week, with Crowley and you butting heads all along the way.
Crowley was used to the heat; his home had been Hell, after all. He just didn’t understand why you complained so much about something he couldn’t feel, even suggested he not even try to fix the damaged A/C. So, let the bickering commence.
The book in your hand had lost your attention long ago, sweat dripping from the arm pit down your side. Shuddering at the feeling, you groaned and slouched further in the chair. Crowley went to visit Aziraphale hours ago. Azi had extended an invitation to you as well, but you didn’t want to force your bad mood on him. He was too nice for you to snap at. Crowley however…
The sound of the front door shutting struck you from your daze. You looked up as Crowley walked into the room, him smirking at your appearance.
“One of those afternoons, huh?” he chuckled. Before you could even respond, he began to take off his jacket and waist coat. His torso was bare within seconds.
Usually, these moments would instantly get you flustered. But in the moment, you were sweaty, hot, and pissed.
You stood up and crossed your arms, ignoring the condensation already forming. “Yeah, it’s ‘one of those afternoons’, Crowley. You wanna know why? You refuse to fix your fucking air conditioner!”
A scowl quickly covered the demon’s face, and he rolled hi eyes. “This again? I don’t see why you’re so bothered with the heat, Y/N; I can’t feel a thing.”
Rage boiled in you. “Of course, you can’t! You’re from Hell, Crowley! Heat is nothing to you. But if you couldn’t tell,” you motioned to your sweating form. There wasn’t an inch of you not covered. “I’m human! Us humans can not only feel the heat, but some of us even die from it, moron!”
At the mention of death, a dark look covered Crowley’s face. He crossed the room and out the door that led to the A/C. You were going to follow him to see what he was doing, but you were stopped by a loud pop coming from the vents. Almost instantly, a cool air began to fill the room.
Crowley re-entered the room, his half naked form coming into view. “Are you happy now?” he questioned, his tone not the least bit happy.
You couldn’t see why he was so upset still, until it hit you- you put the idea of your death in his mind. Of course, that would upset him. That may have been the kicker to finally make him fix the problem, but it wasn’t exactly the fairest tactic.
“Oh, Crowley.” Crossing the room, you swiftly pulled his arms around you, holding him close. “I’m sorry I said all that.”
In his classic way, he acted as though nothing was wrong. He was stubborn like that, didn’t want to seem weak.
“It doesn’t matter. I just don’t know why you had to be so dramatic.”
You chuckled and looked up at him. His golden eyes met yours and softened almost instantly. Though he wouldn’t admit it, you knew he was afraid of losing you. And you would try your best to reassure him that wouldn’t happen.
Pecking his lips, a new thought occurred to you.
“Wait- you could’ve fixed it yourself this whole time?!”

More Of You To Love (Aziraphale x Reader x Crowley)
Characters: Aziraphale, Reader, Crowley
Requested: Yes
Requested by: Anon
Point of View: Second Person Reader
Summary: Aziraphale’s feeling insecure about his appearance so you and Crowley cheer him up.
Warnings: Self deprecation (Aziraphale), cursing, minimal editing.
Words: 976
A/N: After a fucking stressful week I finally managed to pump this out - enjoy!
——
You were excited to bring your favorite otherworldly beings a fresh batch of cookies. It had been quite a while since you’d had the chance to take the time to bake for Crowley and Aziraphale, and now that the apocalypse was over you had all the time in the world.
You packed them away in a large red tin with a silver top, and held them closely as your directed the cab driver towards Aziraphale’s bookshop.
It was a pleasant ride - the cabbie wasn’t overly chatty, but also didn’t ignore you the whole time. He told you about the few times he’d driven people away from Aziraphale’s bookshops, and how all those people were annoyed or angry over the fact the owner demanded “ridiculous prices” for all his books, or how he would blow them off altogether.
You’d laughed at these stories. Sounds like my angel, you’d thought to yourself.
“Jus’ don’t be disappointed if ‘e turns you away.” The cabbie had said, and you gave him a kind smile.
“Oh, I’m not worried about that, sir. Mr. Fell and I happen to be very close.” You saw the bookshop ahead, and collected the money you’d need to pay him. “Thank you very much for you worry, though. And for the drive.” As he pulled up to the curb, you gather your things up into your arms and exited the car, passing him the bills through his open window. “Please, keep the change.” He gave you a small nod, and a smile before pulling back into traffic. Above you, you could see rain clouds gathering and let out a happy sigh. You made it just in time.
You could see Crowley’s Bentley parked a little bit away, and your grin widened.
Perfect timing. You gave yourself an invisible gold star.
The bookshop was empty, with the exception of your partners. Crowley greeted you with a chaste kiss and a half-hug. Aziraphale exited the back room, and gave you a gentle kiss to the cheek and a nuzzle of his nose against your own, and you pulled him a little closer with your ars around his shoulders.
“Hello, my dear.” He said.
“Hullo, Azi.” You smiled as you pulled away, reaching into the red bag you’d used to carry the cookies. “Guess what I’ve got.” You said in a sing-song voice as you presented the container. “They’re your favorite - white chocolate macadamia!” He smiled, but it didn’t quite reach his eyes. You felt a wave of worry wash over you.
“Oh, that’s lovely my dear. Thank you very much.” He took the container gingerly, and you knew something was wrong. The Aziraphale you knew would have all but ripped off the top to try one - he’d then offer one to you and Crowley. The angel in front of you looked hesitant to even touch the container.
“Azi, is something wrong?” You asked.
“Wrong? Why would anything be wrong my dear?” Aziraphale’s smile faltered for a moment as he set aside the container.
“Well, I don’t mean to sound rude, but that reaction was a bit… underwhelming.” You said, and Aziraphale pursed his lips.
“What reaction?”
“Well, usually when I bring you treats you get so excited. Right now you don’t seem to want anything to do with them.” You folded your arms gently over your chest.
“They’re right Angel.” Crowley piped up, coming to place an arm around your waist as he looked at Aziraphale. “Is something wrong?”
“I’m just… not hungry.” He said.
“That’s not fair, Angels don’t get hungry.” You pouted. “Azi, if something’s wrong, tell us. Please?”
“Nothing is wrong,” he sighed. “Please, just drop it.”
“Angel I’ve known you long enough to know when you’re lying.” Crowley warned, and you wanted to roll your eyes. If that were true, the almost-geddon would have gone very differently. “Look, we’re just trying to look out for you - we’re asking because we care and we love you. (Name) and I just want to make sure you’re alright.” There was a moment where (name) assumed Aziraphale would shoot them down again, but after a moment the Angel’s smile fell and he let out a sigh.
“It’s…” he stopped, refusing to meet your eyes. “It’s just something Gabriel said. When we were still working on ending the apocalypse.”
“What did that arsehole say?” You hissed out, arms crossing. You’d only met Gabriel once, at the air base, and it hadn’t been a pleasant meeting.
“Well he, uh, told me that I should, as he put it ‘lose the gut’.” You felt your blood begin to boil at the idea of Gabriel indirectly calling your sweetheart fat. If he couldn’t smite you where you stood, you’d go give him a piece of your mind. “I thought it would just be better to start, um, watching what I eat.”
You jumped a bit as Crowley hissed something out - it wasn’t in any language you could understand and each syllable buzzed in your head like a bee looking for an exit.
“Crowley,” Aziraphale chastised. “Watch your language.” A part of you wondered if he meant that in terms of what he said or how he said it, but you also knew it could have been both. Aziraphale sighed, muttering a lone “I’m soft.”
“But that’s not a bad thing.” You said, stepping towards Aziraphale and wrapping your arms around him. “I quite enjoy having a little more you you to love.”
“I agree-” Crowley began, but you cut him off.
“It makes up for Crowley being the size of a stick.” You winked. Crowley snickered as he came over to hold the both of you.
“I would be offended if it wasn’t true.” He pressed a kiss to your forehead, then one to Aziraphale’s. “There is nothing wrong with you, my love. Like (name) said, there’s more of you to love.”

One Monstrous Miracle (Part Four)
Hey guys! I’d meant to get this out earlier today, but I’d also meant for it to be about 3,000 words shorter, so there we are. As always, give this chapter a cheeky little vibe check, and let me know if you find any mistakes! I love you all, enjoy, all those good things. Yay, melatonin! (Pssst! Also, if you’d rather read on Ao3 instead, here it is).
Previous-Next-First
Pairing: Aziraphale/Human!reader
Summary: Tender ANGST. Very angsty, might make you cry, i dunno.
Warnings: Aziraphale says a word that Microsoft Word told me may offend my readers, but other than that, I think we’re good. Let me know if I missed something!
Word Count: A WHOPPING 5295!! They’re getting loooooooonger.
Tumblr media
This day, like many days, started off deceptively the same as always. Aziraphale had gotten up on the right side of the bed, the weather was not particularly noteworthy, and there was no string of minor accidents that would lead anyone to believe that this was going to be a Very Bad Day Indeed. Nevertheless, unbeknownst to most parties involved, this day was, in fact, going to be a Very Bad Day Indeed, possibly even The Worst Day Ever.
Aziraphale had been feeling happier than he could remember ever having been in his whole life. After you had shown up in his shop after weeks of not speaking to him, the two of you had spent very little time apart. You had resumed your habit of stopping by after work, much to Aziraphale’s great relief. He had missed you dearly, and he was enormously grateful that you had found it in your heart to forgive him. He shuddered when he thought of that night, remembering how terrified you had looked. Aziraphale had truly never felt quite as angry as he had when Crowley had insulted you, and it brought him right back to his younger days as a fiery agent of the Lord, smiting all who dared to cross Her. He had locked that part of him away, and until that fight with Crowley, he had all but forgotten about it. He’d decided very firmly that you would never again see him like that.
Today, Crowley had demanded that Aziraphale come over to his flat to make what he called an “Apocalypse Plan”. Things were getting rather sticky lately, and their search for the true Antichrist seemed fruitless. It was time, Crowley said, to bring out the “big guns”. What those guns were Aziraphale had no idea, but he could only hope that it wasn’t anything too drastic. He had just bought his new coat, after all. He’d made a quick call to you before closing his shop and heading over to Crowley’s.
“I’m terribly sorry my dear, but I’m afraid I don’t know when I’ll be home. Crowley is rather—”
“Difficult. I know, Azi, it’s okay. Take your time.”
Warmth bloomed over Aziraphale, and he couldn’t help the tender smile that worked its way across his face. You were so full of understanding, something that he’d had precious few encounters with during his time on Earth. As much as he loved humans and all their little quirks and flaws, it sometimes bothered him that for most of his life, he had been completely alone. Sure, there was Crowley, and he was absolutely infuriating but somehow endearing, but he was a demon, after all. There were fundamental things that they just would never understand about each other, no matter how long they’d been friends. You were different. You accepted Aziraphale, never questioning him or teasing him (of course you teased him, but never about his weight, or his obsession with books, or how the noises he made when eating sushi) or making him feel the way that the other angels invariably did. It was one of the many reasons he’d found he loved you for.
“Thank you, Y/N. I will call you if I get back earlier than I expect.”
“Thanks, Aziraphale. Have fun with Crowley! Give him my love.”
That was another thing. Aziraphale had been terrified that after such a disastrous first meeting, you would hate Crowley. Somehow, the exact opposite had happened, and after the two of you had gotten used to each other’s presence, you’d become fast friends. Aziraphale hadn’t realized how close the two of you had gotten until Crowley had yanked him into the back room of his shop one night and given him the sternest dressing-down the demon could probably muster, and promised that Aziraphale would regret ever having been created if he hurt you again. “Aren’t you meant to be on my side, dear boy?” Aziraphale had asked bemusedly, feeling very wrongfooted. “Oh, I am. I’ve already talked to her, she’s good. I just need to make sure that you don’t fuck this up, Angel.” Aziraphale had, through his tears, assured him that he had no intention of intentionally hurting you as long as you would have him (as a friend, of course).
“I will. See you soon, my dear.”
“See you. Bye!”
Aziraphale hung up, already missing the sound of your voice. He shut the lights off and headed out of the shop, locking the door behind him. Although he was a celestial being, and most definitely could make himself appear at Crowley’s door with little more than a thought, he found he enjoyed taking public transport. It was blessedly slower than riding in Crowley’s car, and it allowed him time to sit and watch the people around him. Aziraphale found himself strangely emotional as he looked around him at all the advances humans had made over the thousands of years he had walked among them. All the subtleties, the headphones in a young man’s ears, a little girl reading a book half the size of her head, a woman applying hand sanitizer. All these things made his heart ache with admiration. Yes, despite all the atrocities that humanity had perpetuated, Aziraphale knew that the vast majority of them were worth saving. He shifted in his seat, waiting for his stop.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Aziraphale hadn’t expected the absolute destruction that awaited him when Crowley opened his door twenty minutes later. Papers were littered everywhere, plastered on the wall, hanging from bits of string from the ceiling, and covering nearly every surface in the flat, including much of the floor. Aziraphale tilted his head, surveying the inexplicable damage.
“Are you…quite alright, dear boy?” Aziraphale inquired as Crowley shut the door behind him. Crowley came to stand beside him, and Aziraphale took the opportunity to look his friend over.
Crowley had always been obsessed with his appearance, even in the early days when self-grooming hadn’t quite been invented yet. Crowley was even worse than Aziraphale himself was at times, which was truly frightening. Today, however, seemed to be rather a large exception to the rule. Not one item on the demon’s body matched, even down to his feet, the left of which sported a thick, woolly sock, while the other was covered with bright green fabric with miniature snakes all over. “At least he’s wearing trousers,” Aziraphale thought gratefully. Crowley turned his wild and un-sunglassed eyes towards Aziraphale, and he quickly retracted his gratefulness. The day was not over yet.
“Of course! Why wouldn’t I be? I’m perfectly fine, nothing to worry about. Shall we sit?”
Aziraphale stared, feeling the gears turning almost painfully in his head. What on Earth had happened to Crowley? He had never acted this way, even during the chaos of the witch trials of the 16th and 17th centuries. He seemed…unhinged. As most people are no doubt aware, and if not, they can at the very least assume, an unhinged demon is a very dangerous demon. Aziraphale could do nothing but watch his friend as he pranced over to the desk at the center of the room, trying desperately to think of his next course of action. Crowley gestured impatiently at him and Aziraphale had no choice but to acquiesce. He was nearly to the desk when he was distracted by the sound of rustling leaves in the next room. He tilted his head, listening. His lips pursed in response to what he heard.
“Crowley, I’ve told you before that you simply must take better care of these creatures!” Aziraphale gasped, forgetting everything else. Crowley clicked his forked tongue dismissively.
“They’re just plants, Angel, I don’t understand why you’re always so concerned about them. And I don’t see any problems with them, anyway. Look at how green they are!” Aziraphale could tell that he had directed that last part to the plants, because they all gave a collective, terrified shudder. Aziraphale sighed in resignation and turned to the poor things, cooing and soothing their frayed nerves.
“Don’t mind him, my dears. You’re all lovely, no matter what the evil demon says—”
“I can hear you!”
Aziraphale ignored Crowley in favor of sending cool, calming thoughts to the plants. He didn’t leave them until their leaves stopped trembling. Feeling very satisfied with himself, Aziraphale turned back to the desk. He strode over and sat at one of the (significantly less ornate than Crowley’s own “throne”) chairs, shifting uncomfortably. He waited for Crowley to start explaining himself.
“As you know, the Antichrist is…missing—”
“You could, possibly, skip that bit seeing as we both know this part of the problem,” Aziraphale interjected. He was the very epitome of patience at the best of times, but this was decidedly not the best of times, and he was quite eager to fix this mistake that was all Crowley’s fault and had absolutely no connection to Aziraphale whatsoever. The fate of the world as we know it was at stake, after all. Crowley huffed, clearly upset that Aziraphale had cut off his carefully practiced speech, but Aziraphale really couldn’t find it in him to care (This was a lie: Aziraphale cared a great deal).
“Fine.” Crowley hissed. He opened his mouth to say more, but he was interrupted by insistent knocking at the door.
Silence. Neither of them moved a muscle, staring wide-eyed at each other. Nothing happened for a moment, but then the knocks came again, louder than before. Aziraphale barely kept himself from letting out a pathetic whimper, earning him a deathly glare. Aziraphale started bouncing his leg, trying to resist the urge to open the door. As an angel, it was just not in his character to ignore someone, no matter the context. Crowley knew this about him and was trying to ease his anxiety.
“C’mon angel, leave it be. They’ll leave. It’s probably some teenager trying to sell magazine subscriptions.” Crowley thought at the angel. He knew immediately that he had used the wrong words because Aziraphale’s expression turned into one he knew well—it was the exact one he wore when complaining about how Crowley treated his plants. Aziraphale’s eyes were so full of compassion it nearly made the demon gag with its intensity.
“The poor child! They’re probably selling to provide for their family, or the like. Oh, Crowley, you know I can’t leave them out there!”
Before Crowley could stop him, Aziraphale had jumped up from his chair and was rushing towards the door. A feeling of growing doom washed over him as Aziraphale disappeared behind the wall separating the front door from the rest of the flat. Something was horribly wrong.
Perhaps because he hadn’t been paying enough attention, or because his mind had been so preoccupied with the vision of the poor, snotty-nosed, raggedy youth swimming in his mind, but whatever it was, Aziraphale hadn’t picked up on the same ominous feeling as his demonic counterpart. Guileless, Aziraphale turned the doorknob and swung open the door. The sight that greeted him turned his stomach to lead and set his heart beating faster than it had the right to even think about working. He schooled his features into his usual, easy going smile, all the while thinking desperately at Crowley from across the flat.
“It’s angels. Stay quiet.”
“Michael! And Uriel.” There was a flash of diamond-studded teeth, and Aziraphale felt his throat constrict. “And, ah, Sandalphon. What a surprise! W-What brings you here, exactly?”
“We could ask you the same thing, Aziraphale,” Michael responded, a terrifying glint in their eyes. “It is rather odd to find you here, of all places.” Aziraphale had no idea what to do. He had been caught out, finally, after all these millennia, and he was going to be discorporated, or worse, and there was nothing he could do about it. He was finished. He would never eat sushi again, never dance the gavotte, never see Y/N—
“Here? Whatever do you mean?” Aziraphale inquired, trying to look as innocent as a very clearly guilty person could. Sandalphon snarled but Michael silenced him with a look.
“Here as in the known residence of the demon Crowley, the very same Crowley that you have been providing reports on for last 200,000 years. How very interesting that we would find you here, in his home.” Uriel had always had such a knack for quiet intimidation, and she used it now. Aziraphale gulped, shifting from one foot to the other. He had to think of something, and quickly. Sandalphon broke from the group and moved closer to Aziraphale, so close that Aziraphale nearly went cross-eyed looking down his nose at the shorter being. The angel sniffed at his coat, taking one of the worn lapels and rubbing it in between his clawed fingers.
“Hmm. Smells evil.” He stepped back into rank, glaring at Aziraphale. Aziraphale swallowed hard, praying for strength.
“Well, ah, that would be because…” He trailed off, wracking his brain for anything, literally anything, to tell them. As they were essentially Gabriel’s innermost circle of confidantes in Heaven, Aziraphale knew that if he let them leave this place thinking that he had been working with the enemy instead of against, that would be the end of everything.
“What’s going on?” He heard Crowley thinking at him.
“Shut up! And stay that way.” He could feel Crowley’s indignation, but he obeyed.
“’Because’ what, Aziraphale?” Michael demanded. Aziraphale looked between the three angels, and suddenly, out of nowhere, the words flooded into his mind.
“Because I was doing surveillance!” Aziraphale blurted before he’d had the chance to think about it. The angels frowned, skeptical.
“Surveillance?” Uriel repeated, sharing a look with Michael. Aziraphale nodded, feeling his heartrate slow as his anxiety left him.
“Surveillance, my friends. I have been monitoring Crowley’s actions more closely since the birth of the Antichrist. I decided to have a bit of a peek around here to see if he had any…”
“Information?” Sandalphon supplied.
“That’s the ticket! Information. Unfortunately, you arrived not long after I did, so I haven’t been able to find anything of note just yet—”
“Well, then, let us help you, Aziraphale!” Michael interrupted, moving to push past him into the flat. Aziraphale grabbed their arm, keeping them from moving any further. “What in—”
“Crowley can’t sense my presence, with me being but lowly principality in comparison to you. You, being an Archangel, I can imagine that even Crowley would be able to tell if you’d been in his flat. Your imminence.” Aziraphale saw the slight blush that appeared on Michael’s face at his words. They had always been a bit of a narcissist, and the fastest way into their good spirits would always be cheap and simply flattery. They stepped back, straightening their blazer and clearing their throat.
“That is true. Even so low a demon as Crowley would be able to sense my power. Very well, then, Aziraphale, I’ll leave you to it.  But know that we” they gestured to their companions. Uriel smirked at him while Sandalphon grinned, showing off his sparkling, sharpened teeth. “are watching you.”
With that, the three of them vanished. Aziraphale was left in corridor alone, still trying to come to terms with what had just happened. Slowly he realized that the taste of miracles lingered in his mouth, dancing on the tip of his tongue. This was no ordinary miracle, however. This miracle tasted of mana, of saltwater taffy and just a hint of last week’s winning lottery numbers. How odd. Aziraphale spun around and raced back into the flat to relay everything to Crowley.
“So your people are onto us. Of course it would happen now, of all times. We’ve just gotta be more careful…Angel? What’s wrong?” Crowley had caught sight of the expression on Aziraphale’s face; one of complete and utter despair, like all his dreams had come crashing down around him all at once. Alarmed, the demon pushed out of his chair and came closer to his friend. “Hey, it’s not that bad, we’ve prepared for this—”
“Y/N.” Aziraphale lifted his head to look Crowley in the eye. “She’s in danger. If they’ve been watching me, then they know about her and if they don’t already, they will know soon enough.” Crowley slumped, knowing it was true. He also knew what Aziraphale was about to do next.
“I can’t see her anymore.” If Crowley had had a heart, it would have broken into a million tiny pieces at the raw despair in the Angel’s voice. He knew how you both felt about each other, and how, after spending all that time apart, having to break off your growing relationship off once again would destroy both of you. He said nothing. “They will kill her, Crowley.”
“I know.” Neither of them said anything after that. Aziraphale took a deep, shuddering breath, opened his mouth as if to talk, but then shut it again. Crowley put a hand on his friend’s shoulder.
“But I also know that if you push her away like this, after what happened before, she might not come back,” When Aziraphale met his eyes, he knew that that didn’t matter to the Angel. He loved you so much that keeping you safe meant more to him than being near you. Crowley gave his friend’s shoulder a squeeze and nodded.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You were running late, not that it truly mattered. Aziraphale had called you an hour ago to tell you that he had, in fact, gotten home from Crowley’s earlier than expected and that you could come over for a spot of cocoa if you wished. You had spent almost 45 minutes trying to get dressed. For whatever reason, you’d decided to try and look nice for a change, rather than your usual scrubs or wrinkled work clothes. A random idea had popped into your head, making you wonder how Aziraphale would react to seeing you in make up for the first time. So, wearing one of your nicest blouses and skirts with your least favorite pair of achy heels, you were speed walking down Aziraphale’s street. The familiar feeling of butterflies in your belly increased in intensity the closer you got to the shop. Maybe today was the day you would finally tell him how you truly felt about him. Then again, maybe it wasn’t.
You weren’t expecting to see Aziraphale standing in the middle of the main room of the shop. Usually he was off in the back or upstairs even, but it was rare to see him out front. Especially when he wasn’t shelving books, which he definitely wasn’t. You frowned, closing the door behind you and moving to stand in front of him. There was something…off about the man today, something that you couldn’t quite put your finger on, but you knew it was there regardless.
“Azi, wha—”
“Hello, Y/N. May I get you some of that cocoa?” Aziraphale started, as though you’d never opened your mouth. You could tell that something was well and truly wrong now—Aziraphale didn’t have an impolite bone in his body. He would never cut you off when you were trying to speak.  Your frown deepened as you tried to look him in the eyes, but he stared resolutely at a point just above your head.
“No, Aziraphale, what’s the matter?” He tilted his head to the side, eyebrows scrunched together as he looked down at you.
“’The matter’? Nothing’s the matter. Everything is fine, my dear.” He paused. You watched as his expression, already more shuttered that you had ever seen it, darken even further, making his face go blank. You were shocked. You had never seen Aziraphale like this, and you had no idea what had happened to make him so…angry? You couldn’t tell. All you could do was wait for him to continue.
A war was raging inside of Aziraphale, as it had been for the last few hours. A million possibilities floated around his mind, each one more ludicrous than the last. He could tell you that he was going on holiday and that you would see him in oooh…never because the world was doomed to end within the year. He could tell you that an old relation had passed away and that he needed to go home to Wales to settle the…whatever it was that humans settled when a loved one died. He could tell you the truth, that he loved you too much to keep you, that he was of the second-highest choir of angels and that some very bad angels were hunting for his golden blood as you spoke. Or he could say nothing, invite you upstairs for some telly and cuddling and continue living in this little bubble that the two of you have lovingly and tenderly created for yourselves. You could go on living in happiness…until, of course, Gabriel found out and smote you quite dead. The thought sent a trail of ice racing down his spine. He shook his head violently. Crowley’s lie it was, then.
“Actually, there is something that I need to speak with you about.” On instinct, your had shot out and reached for his but he pulled his hand back out of your reach. Hurt, you stared at him in shock. What the hell was happening? Was he breaking up with you? Not that the two of you were in a real relationship just yet, but after your talk, after everything, was this the end? Before it had even started? You refused to believe that your Azi could be so cruel.
“I…I can’t. I can’t do this.” Came the harsh nail in the coffin of your dreams. Tears sprang to your eyes but you held them back valiantly. Aziraphale could see them, trembling on your bottom eyelid, threatening to fall and to ruin this whole thing. His next words came out in a hurry, as though he was afraid if he didn’t say them quickly, he wouldn’t say them at all. Perhaps that was true.
“This. Us.” He gestured between the two of you. “Its…superfluous. I’m done with it and I am done with you. You were convenient, naieve and willing at a time when I was bored and lonely. That’s over now, and so is this. You can’t come to the shop anymore. Don’t call me because I won’t answer the phone. We’re done.”
Now, it is important that you know that angels don’t need to breathe. Well, perhaps that is a bit extreme. They do breathe, they have working cardiorespiratory systems that pump their golden blood throughout their bodies, just not with the same frequency as other life forms. In fact, an angel can hold their breath for years, which you may take anyway you wish. But in this moment, Aziraphale struggled to draw breath. As he watched the tears fall down your cheeks, ruining the liner and mascara that you had no doubt spent a great deal of time perfecting, he knew that there was no coming back from this. You would leave him, you would grow to hate him, if you didn’t already. He would never see you again.
But at least he knew you would be safe.
Aziraphale turned, unable to torture himself any further by watching you cry in front of him and not doing anything about it. His fingers itched to take you into his arms and hold you, to take back everything he had just said, but he restrained himself. This was how it had to be. He squared his shoulders, speaking without turning back,
“I’m sure you can show yourself out.” That was it. The last time he would ever lay eyes on you and he couldn’t even bring himself to look you in the eye. Gabriel was right, he had always been right. God had made some terrible mistake, appointing him a Principality. “Angel of the Eastern Gate” his divine bollocks. More like sniveling, fat coward who fails at everything and—
Aziraphale looked down to see your hand, smaller and softer than his own, covering his. He frowned at it, his grief-addled brain taking longer than normal to come up with an explanation. Surely you had stormed out of the shop in angry tears, vowing to hate the thought of him forever. How could your hand be here, slipping its fingers through his and intertwining themselves together as though they belonged that way? He turned his head, seeing that your hand was, in fact, connected to your arm, which was, surprise upon surprise, connected to you. You were still there, blotchy faced and bright-eyed, but still there, standing in his shop, stubbornly refusing to leave even after he had said all those terrible things to you. He raised an eyebrow at you, feeling faint headed.
“Do you hate me?” You asked, feeling very brace. Aziraphale turned around to face you fully, unable to believe what you had just asked him.
“No! Not—”
“Did I do something to offend you? Or to make you angry with me?” Aziraphale shook his head. He had to force you to leave him, but he found that he couldn’t let you leave thinking that he felt those awful things about you.
“Then why are you doing this to me? Is someone forcing you for whatever reason. Just tell me the truth, Azi,” At this, she gave his hand a gentle squeeze. “I will try to understand.”
And it was then, that Aziraphale finally understood. Of course you would . You were kind, and patient, and the most forgiving soul he had ever met on Earth. Of course you would see through his veneer and into his true self, the one that called out to you even as he tried to push you away. He didn’t say anything at first, trying to filter his words and find the right things to say. Being as perfect as you always were, you stood there, eagerly waiting but not pushing. He did not deserve you in his life. He stepped forwards, bringing his free hand to grasp your other hand. He brought them up to his chest, resting over his heart.
“Alright. Alright, I am going to tell you something, but I cannot explain, and I cannot tell you anything more than what I am about to say. You must promise me that you won’t ask any questions until I tell you to.” “When will that be?” Aziraphale cracked a small smile, but it melted away as soon as it had appeared.
“I’m afraid I don’t know, my dear. But you must trust me. Please.” He could see the familiar fire of defiance in your eyes as you hesitated to respond. But once again, he stood in awe as you nodded.
“Yes. Of course I trust you, Azi. Tell me what’s wrong.” He was not able to stop himself from bending his neck to press a grateful kiss to your hands. You gasped quietly but said nothing. He began.
“Thank you. You’ve no idea how much that means to me. I’ll get straight to it: being with me puts you in a very real, very serious sort of danger. Know that I wouldn’t dream of putting you through all of this unless it was so serious. I cannot bear the thought that your life may be in danger because of me.” He paused, watching your face, trying to figure out what you were thinking. He could read your mind, of course, but that would be terribly improper. Instead, he had to deal with this the hard way—difficult conversation.
“So…my life is in danger?”
“When you are with me, yes. I am truly sorry, Y/N. I wish things were different. I find that I…” He trailed off, caught in your beloved gaze, and he found that he could no longer hold back. Not when this was the last time he would be with you. It was now or never, and never was certainly not a legitimate option. “I find that I have fallen in love with you. Yes. I…I love you, Y/N, and that is exactly why I must keep you as far away from me as I can. I need you to be safe, and I would never forgive myself if something happened to you because of me.”
Your face did the most extraordinary thing. For a second, you stared at Aziraphale, understandably overwhelmed with all of this new information he had thrown at you. He waited, as courteous as ever, for you to piece it all together. When you did, your face bloomed into the most radiant smile Aziraphale had ever seen. His heart leapt in his chest at the sight, so wholly unprepared for something so beautiful.
“I understand. I really do understand, Aziraphale.” You said, inexplicably. Aziraphale felt on the verge of tears as he looked at you and saw that you were telling the truth. Hope flooded him, fierce and intense, and for the first time in hours, he thought that maybe he didn’t have to lose you forever. Maybe this wasn’t goodbye. You kept going. “I can’t say that this doesn’t hurt, because it does. Because…I love you too. I have done for months and I’ve always been too afraid to tell you. But I might as well tell you now, so you don’t go moping around without me.” You both chuckled at that. You stayed still for a few moments, drinking in this last bit of time together for the foreseeable future. You knew it couldn’t last, however much you wanted it to, and so eventually, you pulled your hands gently out of his and took a step back.
“So this is goodbye, I suppose?” You asked, already missing his warmth. He nodded, feeling much the same way.
You stood and watched each other, trying to commit the other’s face to memory. Neither of you knew when you would be seeing each other again. Impulsively, you sprung forwards, startling Aziraphale with your sudden movement towards him. He wasn’t sure what you were up to, but he found out almost instantaneously, as he felt your soft lips press a small kiss against his cheeks. Heat rushed through his body, but he was able to control himself—barely. He blinked stupidly as you pulled away, smiling mischievously at him. You were still very close to him, so close that he could see the flecks of gold in your eyes that he adored so much. You fidgeted with his coat, and Aziraphale had to keep himself from wincing at the thought that you were fingering the same place that Sandalphon had earlier. He let you continue, content to watch and wait. You eventually did what you had set out to do, which was straighten his lapels and collar, and you patted his chest in satisfaction. You sighed and looked up at him.
“Come back to me, Azi, okay?” Aziraphale’s hands came up, entirely of their own volition, to grip tightly around her waist in response.
“Of course I will! I promise, my love, I will come back to you once all of this…kerfuffle is over.”
A little while later, you were leaving, turning, walking out of the bookshop and away from Aziraphale.

“There she is!”
“Hush, you’ll get us caught!”
“Sorry, I’m just so…”

The Bone Witch Incoherent Whatever
I started these books mainly because I can't read French very well, but this is a story for another list. I started them and finished them, and I didn't know I had needed such a story. This. Bad. So I guess a super long and super spoiler-y list was in order (while I cry again because they are too much T.T)
Rin Chupeco was immediatly added to my list of favourite human beings: the dedications were a mood and the acknowledgments, gosh wonderful
Tea of the Embers, love of my life, is amazing, I don't care about anything I loved her from her first words until the very end
Somehow we always knew where this was gonna end, but i didn't feel prepared at all, my heart breaking and mending at every chapter
"My only claim of strangeness was that I read fiercely, learned thirstly"
"We asha are always expected to be on our most proper behavior, to never have so much as a hair out of turn. Asha do not cry or scream or make threats. When people cut us, we are expected to do only two things: smile and bleed.”
The world building, the power system, the politics, Tea's commanding of the Dark
The deal with Mykaela heartglass broke my heart, I have ex that I regret and the idea that I could remain stuck like that, loving someone and slowly dying because of that terrifies me (HOW COULD YOU KILL HER WHEN THEY WERE SO CLOSE)
THE AZI
I repeat THE AZI
Tea looked at a giant three-headed undefeated dragon, went around in its head, saw it just wanted to be left alone (which same) and said I'm gonna keep it (which again SAME)
What do I have to do to befriend a dragon? (TELL ME)
Zoya turning out to be a magnificent and fierce warrior with a major case of ChildhoodFriendCrush, and not irrelevent mean girl
Also her and Shadi are just so cute, the way the first is always embarassed and everything and the other just loves and teases her more
"Unfortunately, the oracle had something very different in mind with me" takes on a WHOLE new meaning when you finish the trilogy
I hated how people started getting more and more scared of Tea, when in the end it was all a plot, a lot of prejudices were to blame, and they seemed to forget how kind my girl always was
I have to say I liked Aneah and all the words she whispered, give me a twisted dark lady and you have my attention
"A little corruption is good for the soul, Tea." To which yes, let a girl get revenge
I'm looking at you filthy oracle, I can understand the "I have to sacrifice something to win this fight" way to go, but you were just a pathetic crazy liar, how dare you corrupt Althecia
I can't get over that, I didn't see it coming
The elders made me sick, those horrible hags tested my patience, go die of old age Hestia or whatever
The end of The Bone Witch will always have my heart because Chupec dropped the ship bomb on me with a "Let's go, Kalen"
After going on with "a boy who died for me" and "I made a note to strangle Kalen as soon as I saw him again", AND THEN THAT
I was rooting for them, so I think I screamed or something: you say enemy to lovers, you have my attention
Those two invented love, it took them two books to get around, but was it worth it. They were so devoted to each other, like Kalen stayed with her against Everything and Everyone, like literally. We stan one loving boy
Whats more the oracle had predicted the next bone witch was gonna bring about the dead of her lover, and he was going around "get away from the prince!", then she went, brought down the freacking azi, trapped a Faceless one using her dead horse, and he was like "I guess I'm doomed"
gosh Fox
It all started with "Let me be clear: I never intended to raise my brother from his grave, though he may claim otherwise. If there’s anything I’ve learned from him in the years since, it’s that the dead hide truths as well as the living."
He is exactly how a big brother should be, you can feel him come back to life in every sense, slowly, until he falls in love. I could feel all his love for a sister he kept understanding less and less despite being in her head, and how this held him back from a life he wanted, but knew he shouldn't have had in the first place
Beautifully done, I felt and understood Fox, despite him not being the narrator, despite being angry at how the situation with Daisy was hurting Tea, the two of them were power siblings
“We need someone in our heads to tell us whenever we’re being idiotic. It’s the Pahlavi way.”
Mistress Parmina with her love for money, always stood behind Tea, despite her way of doing things and I wished that Councilor Ludvig was my granpa, I mean he was this kind, smart politician who taught Tea a lot and helped them mantain peace
Ah the well meaning Inessa, I liked her, but felt like I haven't seen enough of her
But the joke of how there were no rulers to get accidentally engaged to killed me, that's awareness
Polaire T.T
The infatuation for Kance stayed that way and I'm glad, and most of the last books I was like, don't hurt my girl
The Heartforger was a rollercoaster ship-wise: Tea insults Kalen, he is standing behind her; Kalen tries to be nice to Tea, Tea is very confused; pretend they are a thing in front of family; Tea compels Kalen hoping to save his life, Kalen is not pleased at all; unsuccessful apologies; realization, "compel me too", you gotta destroy this two dudes who were rude to you, so I can go "that's my Tea"; you don't just stab the Deathseeker while the bone witch is watching; very public kiss; taking each other back from Faceless influence
All the time they spent with a Heartshare rune between them
"We danced for a few minutes without saying anything. A Daanorian woman worked up the nerve to approach us but backed away when I glared at her. “Angry about something?” “You do know there are women itching to kill me right now, right?” His grip tightened. “Did someone compel the people in the palace? The wards are still in place.” I sighed. “That’s not what I meant. Never mind.”"
“Nobody’s more of a fighter than you. You’re the bravest, strongest, most amazing man I’ve ever…”
Realizes
"I mean you are alright"
When Tea jumped off the tower and the azi caught her !!! (yes I screamed, because I love one queen)
"He was the only place I could rest my head and dream without nightmares plaguing me, as they had for the last three months."
Rahim and Ches were very precious
And don't get me started on Likh
Lady Likh can very much kick your ass on her own, but try to hurt her and you'll have to speak with my punches
Khalad agrees with me (the guys in this family don't know how to get the hint)
But in the end, he was helping Tea so Likh could wake (tears, tears everywhere)
The induced madness and the Blight stuff were sick
From when Tea almost jumped off the window, with Kalen terrified poor boy, to killing Daisy (her own free and light sister T.T), to not remembering a second suicide attempt
Black heartglasses being associated with violence, and Tea's one turning because of what other people did to her
Tea' simple "I want to live", can't a girl have peace? Be free like the azi? Have daughters with her eyes and her singing voice?
"I felt the hatred you were capable of like it was my own. And in that instant, I loved the darkest part of you, because I understood, better than Fox or Mykaela could. I’ve known you at your worst." If this isn't love I don't know what is
Drunk Tea was a sight to be hold, and perfect: take off every filter from the dangerous Dark asha and what she has to tell you is how much she loves Kalen
“I don’t care. I’ll bring us back from the grave if I have to, silver heartsglass or not.” “And I will kill anyone standing between us,” he promised, before his lips closed over mine, “even if I have to crawl out of my grave to do so.”
And you know what? THEY DID.
Tea taking her trials, which after the last chapters were nothing worse than her nightmares: her home burning, her own execution could not compete with Daisy's death and Fox rejection
But Kalen was not a price she could ever think of paying
"You can’t break the rules simply because you want to. More often than not, the rules wind up breaking you."
“The world is a much bigger place than the space I occupy, and with even greater consequences.” “There will be no world if you aren’t here with me, Kalen.”
Yadoshans warm my heart
"That is the nature of tyranny, young Tea. Maintaining power is their sole intention. Why worry about retaliation and revolution when they have always intended to wield the sword?"
The whole part in which they killed Kalen and the azi, ripped my heart out
The song she must have sung for hours, and the azi waited until the end to say goodbye
Thank the Creator for the visions she got, or she would have really drown herself T.T
“Sons and daughters,” she echoed, “sons with my fire, daughters with my eyes. Mayhap one day, they will. A life worth dying for is a life worth living after all.” She laid a hand on her companion’s shoulder, squeezing. “Let’s go, my love.”
Even after this long list I feel like I didn't do justice to this trilogy or to how much I loved it. Tea's fierce and kind strenght, even when every one but Kalen was suspicious of her, even when she was going mad because of poison, even when she was trying to outsmart a ruthless enemy, did something to me.
I spent three books knowing that she didn't care if she survived, if she could save her friends then her wish to live was not important. She didn't want much, she just wanted to live. But she let go of that for everyone else. Yes I'm going to cry again.
About the ending I like to think that for finally healing the world she was rewarded, so she got the quiet life with Kalen she'd always deserved. I like to think that she and Kalen remember, that after they'd done enough they finally found their peace and freedom.
They were together, they got to be someone else and had all the time in the world.

Proposal (Rated T)
Summary: When Crowley discovers Aziraphale up late one night, fixing something about himself to make the two of them more of a pair, Crowley offers to lend a hand. (1798 words)
Notes: For the tumblr inbox ask prompt 'proposal'
(AO3)
“Aziraphale?” Crowley grumbles over the front end of a yawn, trundling barefoot from his bedroom to the living room without opening his eyes. “Are you awake already?”
‘Of course, he is,’ he replies to himself when Aziraphale doesn’t – surprising but not too alarming. ‘He barely sleeps so there’s nothing to wake up from.’
Crowley, on the other hand, was deep in the throes of one of the best dreams he’s ever had.
Technically, since demons don’t dream, he implants a thought in his mind before he shuts his eyes. From there, it plays out like a movie inside his brain with him as the director, leading it to the outcome he wants. He hopes this most recent one will someday become a reality. But even with all the powers of his imagination, he can’t lead this dream to fruition on his own.
He needs a little help.
“Aziraphale? Where the Devil are you?”
Crowley briefly considers going back to bed and waiting for Aziraphale there, returning to his beautiful dream, but who knows how long that will be? He’s gotten used to lying beside his angel at night. They’ve slept together every night since they thwarted the Apocalypse. Aziraphale’s presence – his warmth, the sound of his breathing, even that blasted holy light of his – keeps Crowley’s nightmares away.
At this point, Crowley doesn’t think he could sleep peacefully without him.
“Aziraphale?” He reaches the living room, scanning for any speck of light – namely Aziraphale’s aura, which he reads by. But there is no light, no book on the coffee table, no empty mug of cocoa, no sign at all that Aziraphale has been there. Crowley shuffles off and searches the rest of his flat, blinking awake with each step, rubbing the heel of his hand against his eyelids to speed the process along.
“A-zira-phale …” He circles back toward the bedroom when a fluttering, like the beating of a pigeon’s wings as it rises off the pavement, pulls him down the hallway towards the bathroom. “Where art thou, Aziraphale?” he mutters, curious why his angel would be checking his wings at this hour of the night.
Or possibly morning.
He’s too afraid to check the time.
He rounds the corner and gets blinded even though he’s nowhere near the door, the light from the bathroom so incredibly bright, he almost miracles a pair of shades to shield his eyes. But the painful white glow dissolves quickly, leaving behind spots in his vision.
“Azira---?” He stops at the door, shaking the last of the sleep from his brain, and immediately realizes two things. The first - the bright light wasn’t coming from the bulb overhead, but from Aziraphale performing magic. The second is that Aziraphale has changed, his new look seizing Crowley’s heart, sobering him up the second he sets eyes on him.
Aziraphale spots Crowley in the mirror, but not in enough time to hide what he’s done.
“Crowley! Oh!” Aziraphale spins around, reaching behind him, fruitlessly attempting to shove his wings out of sight.
Magicked black wings.
“Aziraphale …” Crowley walks over to him, squinting in confusion “… what are you doing?”
“I was … I was just …” Aziraphale peeks back at the mirror, at himself and his wings, and sighs. “I was trying something new.”
“I’ll say.” Crowley runs a hand down Aziraphale’s right wing, examining the stunning feathers. They look so much like his own, he’s tempted to unfurl his wings to compare. But seeing those black feathers, knowing they’re Aziraphale’s, makes him uneasy. “But why? You love your wings.”
“I thought it might be nice if the two of us … matched. So we seemed more a pair.” Aziraphale cringes, eyes shifting from Crowley’s reflection in the mirror to the bathroom sink, his cheeks cherry red. “It’s asinine, I know.”
“No, it’s not.” Crowley puts his hands on Aziraphale’s shoulders and kneads gently. “I’m touched that you’d want to change something you cherish so the two of us could match. But black? It isn’t you.”
“It isn’t, huh?”
“No. But if you’d let me, I have an idea …”
Aziraphale watches Crowley raise a hand over his wing. He shakes his head nervously.
“Oh, no! You d-don’t have to ...”
“Angel, I used to design nebulas. You don't trust me to design your wings? “
“Of course, I do. It’s not that.”
“What is it then?”
“I don’t …” Aziraphale chews his lower lip, slightly embarrassed “… I don’t want you to humor me. I know I’m being silly.”
Crowley ducks under Aziraphale’s wing so he can look his angel in the eyes. “I’m not humoring you. And I don’t think you’re being silly. So let me help you, all right?”
Aziraphale nods, but that doesn’t mean he necessarily agrees. Crowley can say he approves all he likes, but Aziraphale still feels silly. “All right.”
“Good! Now, let me see, let me see …” Crowley taps his chin in thought. “Let’s go with … something old …” He snaps his fingers, turning Aziraphale’s wings back to white. “Something new …” He runs a hand over his feathers from the shoulder joint outward and silver sparkles appear, dusting Aziraphale’s wings, reminiscent of the stars in the sky.
“H-how are you doing that?” Aziraphale asks, in awe of Crowley’s talent. Demon magic, as far as Aziraphale understands, mostly works by breaking things down. Destroying them. But Crowley’s magic is different. It’s fueled by his imagination. He’s discovered a loophole.
A way to use destruction to create.
“I'm removing some of the color from your feathers. It’s not particularly demonic. You'll be able to fix it if you want.”
“And if I don’t want to fix it?”
Crowley grins. “It’ll stay as long as you let it. Something borrowed ...” Another wave of his hand and the silver stars get ethereal black shadows added to them, giving them depth, making Aziraphale’s wings appear multidimensional. “And something blue, to match your eyes.” With a flourish of his fingers, blue springs up along the bottom edge of Aziraphale’s wings - a soft powder blue lightly brushed along the tips, adding more of a suggestion than a declaration of color. Crowley examines his handiwork front and back, making sure it’s clean and even.
That it’s perfection for his angel.
“I think that does it. What do you think?”
Aziraphale stretches his wings up and out as far as they’ll go for full effect, then flaps to see how they would look in flight. “They’re … they’re gorgeous!” he gasps. “They truly are, but …”
“But?”
Aziraphale chuckles. He gives his wings one last flap, then folds them carefully behind him. “Everything you said … well, you made it sound like we were getting mar---” Aziraphale cuts himself short when a box appears on the sink in front of him, as if by magic. The counter had been clear before. Aziraphale is sure of it “---ried?” He watches Crowley pick the box up and open it, revealing an elegant but simple (surprisingly considering Crowley’s extravagant tastes) platinum band set with a single, pale blue stone in the center. It catches the light overhead, winking at Aziraphale the same way Crowley does. “Is that an … uh …?”
“I think the words you’re looking for are engagement ring.”
“Yes. Yes, that’s it.” Aziraphale turns his head to look at Crowley, staring back at the angel with a smug grin. “I-is it?”
“I would like it to be.”
Aziraphale stares Crowley down, waiting for the catch. The punchline. When there’s isn’t one, he sputters, “A-are you serious?”
“Yes! Aziraphale, we’ve known one another forever. And that’s not me being facetious. We’ve actually known one another forever. Since the beginning of time on Earth. And throughout all of the years we’ve spent here, do you know the one thing I have always looked forward to?”
“What?”
“Seeing you.” Crowley steps behind him, wraps his arms around his waist but keeps the ring ever in Aziraphale’s view. “And now that we live together and I see you every day, I never want to risk losing you. I don’t want you to ever doubt for one minute that the only place I want to be is by your side.”
Aziraphale stares at the ring, too afraid to take it out of its box and examine it. Because that will change everything. And whereas Aziraphale welcomes that change, he wants this moment to last - this stage in between yes and no. “We probably won’t be able to have a proper wedding ceremony, all things considered.”
“So what? We’re an angel and a demon, as you keep reminding me. And we happen to be in love, which is entirely unheard of. We are treading in unexplored country. I think we get to define what marriage means to us. Would that bother you?”
Aziraphale turns in Crowley’s arms, 6000 years’ worth of longing laid to bare in his eyes. “No. Not in the slightest.”
“In fact, we don’t need any kind of ceremony. You’re an angel. I was an angel. I think that gives us both a certain measure of authority in this arena. Here.” Crowley gently pulls out the ring and sets the box aside. He takes Aziraphale’s left hand in his, sliding the ring slowly down his ring finger. “Principality Aziraphale, Angel of the Eastern Gate of Eden, you mean everything to me. You are my anchor. My strength. My inspiration. You’re my reason for waking up every morning. After 6000 years on this planet, I have narrowed down everything I adore to one single entity, and that’s you. And I’ve recently come to terms with the fact that it always has been. Will you do me the incredible honor of standing by my side until the sun explodes and this planet drowns in fire?”
Aziraphale frowns. “That’s incredibly vivid.”
“Love me till beyond the end of time?” Crowley continues. “And when all is said and done, accompany me to the end of the cosmos? Because there’s nowhere for me unless you’re there. There is no me without you, Aziraphale. Not anymore.”
“Do you mean all that?”
Crowley’s eyes roll. “I said it, didn’t I? Of course, I mean it. I love you. I think I always have. And I know I always will. So … will you marry me?”
Aziraphale looks at the ring on his finger. It’s precious, so much more to him than the one he’s worn on his pinkie since time began. He has no intention of ever taking it off. But it doesn’t compare to the demon holding him, waiting patiently for an answer.
Waiting for this moment, apparently, for close to 6000 years.
Same as he.
Aziraphale leans back in Crowley’s embrace and smiles.
“I will.”

Diabolik lovers Lunatic Parade: Shu Sakamaki (Chapter 3)
Can I get a massage too?(๑•́ω•̀)  Honestly, if anyone still has someone they want me to translate from Lunatic Parade in the future please type an anon ask and I will definitely see it! **Disclaimer: だるい = Darui (I wrote 『bothersome』 instead of it’s actual meaning “dull or sluggish” because I felt like it sounded more like Shu so please don’t yeet at me, thanks)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monologue
"Healing Rigel-sama who lost his love and closed his heart''
The mission of preparing a party for him began.
I want to make a place where he can remember the good memories of himself and his wife.
I want to do whatever I can do to make exactly that happen—
Place: Hotel Mondstein — Guest room
Tumblr media
Yui: (First of all, we somehow have to find the perfect venue)
Shu-san.
Where do you think would be a good place for Rigel-sama to remember his time with his wife?
Shu: Oh... what about the gondola station?
Yui: The gondola station... really... ?
Shu: If the information from the familiar are correct, then Rigel and his wife met each other there.
It seems that it had happened during the parade.
If you want to bring him to a place of good memories, I think this would good timing.
Yui: That’s right... ! I will talk to the owner right away. Please wait here!
Shu: ...Hey, wait a moment.
*Shu comes closer*
Shu: Are you really going alone?
Yui: Oh, umm... I don‘t want Shu-san to move for me because I know it’s bothersome for you...
Shu: Oh, I might change my mind. It‘s bothersome.
But... I‘ll go.
Yui: Is that okay for you?
Shu: Yes. Let’s go before I change my mind again.
Place: Demon world — Gondola landing
Tumblr media
Yui: (The Illumination is reflected on the surface of the water and it sparkles... how beautiful)
If they really met in such a place, it will surely be a good memory for him.
Shu: — It would be bad if he’d remember something he didn’t want to.
You were the one who was scared of me at the beginning as well.
Yui: T-That was... Yes, that’s actually right...
But all of those things turned out to be good memories for me now.
Shu: Well... that’s fine for me... haha
— Now
If you want this as the party venue, you should talk the Gondolier in the back for permission.
Yui: Yes, understood!
(Okay, let‘s go and ask him)
Place: Demon world — Rubin canal
Tumblr media
Gondolier B: Welcome! Are the two people of you goin‘ on a ride?
Yui: Oh... um...
I'm sorry we don’t, in fact, we came here because there was something we wanted to ask you.
Gondolier B: Ask me... ?
Yui: Yup.
Actually, we are planing on throwing a party...
And I would like to borrow this place as the venue for it.
Gondolier B: Heh!? You want to throw a party here!?
Yui: Yes. It really needs to be this certain place.
Gondolier B: Even if you say that. There are many customers durin‘ the parade and it’s my time to earn money.
Yup, that is the point, that’s why I can’t reply easily to you.
Yui: Th-That‘s right...
(No matter how much I beg it probably still will be unreasonable, right?)
(But there is no better place for us to hold the party for Rigel-sama than here...)
Gondolier B: It’s bad, but I’m busy today. Come early tomorr-
Shu: ....*yawns*
Gondolier B: ..... ! Y-You are... Karlheinz-sama's...
Whaat! You should have said it way earlier.
Okay, you can hold the party on the gondola and do anything. I’ll excuse my bad and awkward behavior.
That’s why... you should tell your father from me.
Shu: Well, if I feel like it.
Yui: (... W-Wow... it was really as I expected)
Place: Demon world — Gondola landing
Tumblr media
Shu: Haa... I was able to secure this place.
Now, what’s next?
Yui: Umm...
The next thing should be necessary as well which contains food and drinks.
I'm mainly wondering if I can ask someone from the hotel ...
But I‘d like to arrange a special dish that he maybe ate with his wife in the past.
Shu: There certainly were informations from the familiar that they both liked sweet things.
Yui: Yes. I really liked the store "Garette de Loire" in the human world...
Why aren’t we going to a sweetshop in the Demon world that makes the same?
Shu: ... I don’t mind it, so let’s go.
Yui: (Fufu, I’m glad that you’re coming with me properly while saying something like that)
Place: Demon world — Zafia confectionery store
Tumblr media
Vampire woman A: Wow, it looks delicious! As expected from the Makai-no saffir candy store!
Vampire woman B: It’s really hard to move to a different flavor from one day to another day. I honestly want to eat them all ...
Vampire man C: If this is what we all are thinking about, I‘ll pick everything from the left side today.
Yui: (Wow... it‘s very crowded... just moving around is already difficult...)
Shu: .....
You were the one wanting to come here. I am... sleeping over there.
*Shu leaves*
Yui: (Nn... he is just hiding himself in the eat-in corner...)
(I know that it surely is painful to get through this crowd)
(But I‘d like to talk to the shop staff as soon as possible...)
???: There! Look at this, look at this! The cake will be passing through!
Vampire woman A: Ah, the Manager! This smell... oh it’s really unbearable!
Yui: (That’s the store manager! Alright, let’s try talking a little... !)
Oh, uhm! I‘m sorry!
Confectionery restaurant manager: Hmm? What’s the matter? I'm currently really in a hurry, come back later!
Yui: Please wait, just a little! I have some sweets that I want to order on the last day of the parade ...
Confectionery restaurant manager: Order on the last day? That’s impossible! I'm particularly busy now and now you ask me to borrow my hand!
Ahh I’m super busy! Busy! I‘m drowning in work already!
Yui: (Such...)
I-If thats so...
Please let me help you! I-I will do my best!
Confectionery restaurant manager: That’s impossible! That’s indeed impossible.
*More costumers come in*
Confectionery restaurant manager: You! If you ask for help, please do so!
It’s okay even if I think about the previous case!
Yui: Huh? Y-Yes! Understood!
(I‘ll try my best to help out!)
Vampire woman D: From this cake, I‘d like to have three more slices.
Yui: Y-Yes!
Vampire woman E: Hold on! I was lined up first! First of all, give me four of these!
Yui: (That‘s hard! I‘m already busy now... !)
Shu: .....
*yawns* ...
Yui: (Oh... Shu-san seems to have woken up)
Shu: ... Just what are you doing?
Yui: As you can see, I’m helping out in this store.
Vampire woman A: The clerk there! Stop talking!
Yui: Aye!
(Agh!? The tableware got broken!)
Shu: Need help? With this?
Yui: (Uhh... I first of all I need to clean that up!)
Shu: Oh my... you really need help ...
Yui: (Hm, where did Shu-san go... ?)
Vampire woman A: Uhh, I'd like to have one pie with a modest sweetness if possible ...
Which one is better ...
Shu: ... How about this one here? The sugar is modest and the sweetness of the fruits stands out.
Vampire woman A: Oh, so you know about it.
Yui: (Wow...)
Vampire woman A: Yeah okay... I'll get this one which was recommended.
Shu: Thanks
Well... that’s how it should be.
Yui: That was amazing Shu-san! The customer was also overjoyed!
Shu: I would say, I‘ll do this never agai—
*More costumers arrive*
Vampire woman B: I heard that there is a shop assistants here who is familiar with cakes?
Vampire woman C: Could I maybe have a recommendation as well~?
Vampire woman B: Perhaps are you the managers brother!?
Vampire woman E: It‘s officially decided!
Yui: (Uhh... they really like it)
Shu: .....
To go back to sleep... I can just dream about it.
Yui: (Fufu...)
*time passed*
Confectionery restaurant manager: Yeehaw! Thank you very much for today! You two were great help!
I really need to show my appreciation...
Let me hear the story of the candy that you wanted me to make.
Yui: I-Is that okay?
Confectionery restaurant manager: Sure!
Whether it's the last day of the parade or not, as the store manager, I'll promise to do it!
Yui: (I did it!)
Confectionery restaurant manager: So? What kind of candy is it?
Yui: Uhh—
*time passed*
Confectionery restaurant manager: Then I will think of something special to make it for you.
Look forward to see it on the last day of the parade.
Yui: Thank you!
Place: Demon world — Glimmer Main Street
Tumblr media
Yui: We did it thanks to you Shu-san. Thank you very much.
Shu: It was only because of my hard work... Haa...
— So? What’s the next thing? The preparations are not over yet, right?
Yui: Um, what about the gondola decoration?
I really want to decorate it nicely for him.
Shu: Then ... I think the "Reine • de • Azi" store is good.
Yui: "Reine • de • Azi"... ?
Shu: You will understand once we go there. Follow me.
Yui: (..... ?)
Place: Demon world — Reine • de • Aji store
Tumblr media
Yui: (Wow! There are lots of beautiful ornaments ...!)
(I cant even decide what to pick)
What kind of decoration do you think would look good?
Shu: There’s no matter what you pick. There is no particular commitment anyway.
But, rather than the decoration I’d like to—
Yui: (Oh... there’s an old antique violin laying there)
*Shu plays some tones*
Shu: I think music would be more important for the party.
Yui: That may be true
Oh ... I know we got a lot to do, but what about Shu-san playing something?
Shu: No. It‘s bothersome.
Yui: (Ah, I thought that he would say that ...)
... But I really want to hear Shu-san’s violin skills after a long time.
Shu: .....
Yui: Is that a no?
Shu: Haa... maybe just a little
.....
*Shu starts playing*
Yui: (Those really are beautiful tones...)
*someone comes closer*
Shu: ...Who?
???: .....
Shu: Aji, is that you?
Yui: (So you mean, this is Aji?)
Reine • de • Aji: ...What is the eldest son of the Sakamaki family doing in such a place?
Shu: There is no need to explain myself. It doesn’t matter to you anyways.
Reine • de • Aji: Hmph... if you don’t want to answer, I don’t want to sell anything either.
Yui: (T-That‘s bad... !)
Aji-sama! Actually, we will throw a party for a certain person...
That’s why we came here to buy some decorations for that time.
Reine • de • Aji: ...I see...
Well, I’ll believe that this is really the exact reason why you two came to my store.
Because there is an abundant product lineup...
There is something really special I have.
Here, this is it.
Yui: A rocket pendant... ?
Reine • de • Aji: It’s not just a pendant
If you put a picture of someone in this, the person wearing the pendant will become a special substitute which makes them become that person.
Yui: T-That’s amazing!
(Now... that means we just have to put a picture of Rigel-sama's wife in there)
Reine • de • Aji: Well, this was just to show you. I’ll clean up, clean up now.
Yui: Ah! Please wait! Could you please lend me the pendant?
Reine • de • Aji: You want me to lend this?
Even if you say that...
Yui: Could you please lend it to me... ?
Reine • de • Aji: .....
Then there is one condition.
Instead of lending this pendant, you should bring Reine de Aji something more enjoyable than this.
Yui: ... Aji-sama... ?
Reine • de • Aji: If you can‘t think about something. Then what are you going to do?
Yui: P-Please let me do it! I will really do my best!
Place: Glimmer street — Eisen alley
Tumblr media
Yui: (I have may have responded too vigorously... )
How do you think Aji-sama would be pleased?
Shu: .....
Yui: Shu-san?
Shu: Well... thinking about it, is that pendant necessary in the first place?
Yui: (I know you don’t feel like it‘s necessary. But...)
I‘m pretty sure Rigel-sama would be highly pleased by it.
Shu: .....
... Well, I understand it if you say it like that.
Anyway, we should go and ask some passengers in the city about what Aji could possibly like.
Yui: Y-Yes... !
Place: Demon world — Glimmer Main Street
Tumblr media
Vampire man A: Hmm... to be suddenly asked something like that
Yui: Anything is fine. Any trivial thing...
Vampire man A: .....
Yui: .....
Vampire man A: I‘m sorry, but I don‘t know. You should ask others.
Yui: ... okay... thank you
Vampire man A: See you
Shu: *yawns* ... This was our 10th time already... what will you do? Have you given up?
Yui: ... No, I did not. I think we just need to change the place. I‘m sure it‘s that...
(I‘ll do my best without worrying about anything!)
Place: Glimmer Main Street — Front wagons
Tumblr media
Yui: (There is even more traffic than before now. Someone in here must know something)
(Okay... ! Let‘s ask that person at first)
Excuse me... ! I‘d like to ask you a little question...
Vampire man B: ... Oh. What do you want?
Yui: Do you know Aji-sama‘s store on the other side of the street?
Vampire man B: Yes, I know it.
Yui: Actually, we want to please her... do you know any good treasure she‘d want?
Vampire man B: .....
... hmm...
Yui: (Maybe this time... !)
Vampire man B: I‘m sorry, but I don‘t think I can help you.
Yui: ... Oh, uhm, is that so...
Vampire man B: .....
The only thing that I know is... that she grows plants as her hobby
Yui: ... growing... plants?
Vampire man B: Yeah.... well then, i‘m sorry to rush off but I have a meeting
Yui: T-Thank you very much!
(Plants, huh...)
That’s it Shu-san. What about giving a special plant to Aji-sama?
Shu: ... I got no idea. I don‘t know if she really would be pleased or not either.
Yui: But, now we can at least rely on this kind of information we got...
Are there any shops around here that sell exotic plants?
Shu: Well, there are some.
Yui: (Okay... ! let‘s go then!)
Place: Demon World — Horticultual Shop
Tumblr media
Yui: That place is...
(There are a lot of plants that I haven‘t even seen before!)
... Wow...
Shu: Not really. There are just pretty common plants for the demon world. I don’t think Aji would be pleased by any of them.
In other words... did I really just waste my time on walking here?
Yui: I-I‘m sorry...
(Hmm... we‘re in trouble. We once again need to start from the beginning)
???: ... Hmm? Welcome, dear customers.
Soun store owner: If you‘re looking for something don‘t hesitate to ask me, I‘m the owner of this store.
Yui: Thank you very much.
Soun store owner: Because it is only a boasting that you probably don‘t know anything about the flowers in the demon world.
Yui: ... That‘s right...
Which kind of flower would you give someone from the Demon world to please them with?
Soun store owner: All different kinds could make each person happy.
But... if you surely want to please everyone, the "ARE" flower would be the best.
Yui: "ARE"?
Soun store owner: Exactly. "ARE" is only blooming on the mountains.
Yui: It blooms only on the mountains... which part of the mountains is it?
Soun store owner: Don’t tell me... are you going to look for it?
Yui: If anyone would be pleased to get this kind of flower, I‘d like to go there if possible.
Soun store owner: I see
But I think it’s a shame, because it is quite difficult to get.
... Well, you will see for yourself once you get there. I‘ll show you the way on the map then...
Yui: (What does he mean?)
Place: Mine site — Entrance
Tumblr media
Yui: (Um... i‘m surely we‘re close... next is the left...)
Place: Mine site — Underground lake
Tumblr media
Shu: Hey... haven‘t we arrived yet?
Yui: Please wait. I think we‘re close to be there...
According to the map, there should be a cave around here.
Shu: Cave?
Isn‘t it this one?
Yui: Ah... !
Shu: Oh my. You were so focused on the map you couldn‘t even see what was around us.
Well, that is why it is not so hard to get lost while walking with no directions.
Let‘s go there quickly.
Yui: Y-Yes!
Place: Mine site — Selenite Crystal Cave
Tumblr media
Yui: (Wow... somehow everything is sparkling...)
What is this... ?
Shu: It is a selenite. It seems that the cave was made out of it.
Yui: ... I see...
Shu: Hey, watch where you walk. Let’s go and search for the flower.
Yui: I agree
(In particularly, the store owner didn’t tell me anything about the flower)
(He just said that it would be in a spot where you couldn’t easily discover it...)
... Uhh...
..... ?
(I don‘t get it... where could it be?)
Shu: ... Oh. Hey, that’s probably it. I saw something glowing at the back.
Yui: Let‘s go
Monologue
Tumblr media
It was a mysterious flower that we found on the other side.
It is in full bloom all around, giving off a warm light like a firefly that shines in the darkness. It’s so beautiful that I can‘t even believe it.
I reached out for the petals. However—
Place: Mine site — Selenite Crystal Cave
Tumblr media
Yui: (Beautiful...)
Shu: This one seems to be a ghost flower.
Yui: Ghost flower?
Shu: Yes. It is a ghost-like flower that cannot be touched.
Yui: (That means it would disappear if I touch it)
(But... it really is beautiful. If you look at it, you really feel like as if it could make everyone happy)
(Including Aji-sama...)
... Now, Shu-san. Can you somehow carry this to Aji-san?
Shu: ... Haa...
You don‘t seem to give up, why don‘t you try it yourself?
Yui: (Uhh, this is... would it be okay for me to have it for awhile... ?)
(I will definitely try to think of something to get it out of here... !)
*time passed*
Yui: Ahh... another failure...
(No matter how gently I touch it, I can't change it‘s position to pick it up)
(I wonder if it is impossible ...)
Shu: *yawns*...
Yui: (Shu-san seems to be listening to music and yet he also seems bored ...)
(But ... I‘ll try it just one more time)
(It disappears if I touch it, so I should be careful ...)
(Then, why don't you scoop the whole soil instead?)
(Once again... okay... !)
.... ! Look at it Shu-san! The flower is still remaining without disappearing!
Shu: Seems like it.
Yui: Now we can take it back to Aji-sama ...!  Oh, that is good!
Shu: .....
No, it wouldn’t remain that long.
Lay it down and wait a moment.
Yui: ..... ?
*time passed*
Yui: (How long should I wait? It’s already been over 5 minutes later)
Shu-san this is really—
*flower begins to disappear*
Yui: Kya!
Shu: …I knew it.
The gardener would have done the same if the whole soil was solved.
Yui: Th-That might be right...
(But like this we won‘t return to Aji-sama’s shop in 5min)
After all it is impossible...
Shu: ...No, that is not the case.
Yui: Eh... ?
Shu: I will ask you again... Do you really want to borrow that pendant?
Yui: I uhh... of course I want!
Shu: Then I will help.
— Hey, take the ghost flower from the soil again.
Yui: Y-Yes
(What exactly is he planing? Anyway, I will believe in Shu-san ...)
I did it.
Shu: Okay. And then...
Yui: (What will you do by picking up a stone ...?)
Shu: How about this— !
*bats flying around*
Yui: Kya!? There are bats!?
(I was surprised by the sounds the stone made! That's where the bats hide—)
*Shu hugged Yui*
Yui: Shu-san!? Just what are you... !?
Shu: If you give these guys 5 minutes, they will immediately bring us to the store.
Yui: I see—
— Wait, they what!?
Tumblr media
Shu: Wake me up once we arrived.
.....
Yui: (Shu-san really is like that...)
(O-Okay. If nothing happens, we really can make it just in time)
Monologue
Tumblr media
I made up my mind and decided to be quietly transported by the bats.
A quick glance over the ground showed that the parade continued.
If the Earl just didn’t stole my heart, I would go there with Shu-san as well... Such thoughts went beyond my mind.
I shook my head, cut off my thoughts and continued to pray that the ghost flower in my hands would not disappear.
Place: Demon world — Reine • de • Aji store
Tumblr media
Yui: (I managed to arrive before the ghost flower disappeared!)
Shu-san! Please wake up! We arrived at the store!!
Shu: Nn... *yawns*...
We got here too fast. I want to sleep a little more...
Yui: Aji-sama might be able—
Reine • de • Aji: What is that fuss all about!?
Yui: Oh, Aji-sama!
Reine • de • Aji: It‘s you ...!  Are you feeling like breaking my store in the anger of me not lending the pendant to you!?
Yui: N-No, that’s not it!
Please look at this! We wanted Aji-sama to be happy ...
Reine • de • Aji: Th-This is... it is a ghost flower...
It is a special phantom flower that I‘ve heard a lot about, but I’ve never seen one before...
Yui: (Oh, it disappeared...)
Reine • de • Aji: .....
Yui: (What should I do? Even if the bats helped us out I still couldn’t make it...)
(And now... it just disappeared...)
Reine • de • Aji: This just now was not a vision. I really saw a real ghost flower. I am …
It's completely fine, because I was able to see such a kind of flower in my store.
Did you really bother yourself to bring this to me?
Yui: I wanted you to be pleased ... but I'm sorry I could only show it to you a little...
Reine • de • Aji: It’s fine. I enjoyed it enough.
Besides, the flowers are beautiful because they die.
— Thank you. I am very pleased with this.
Yui: (T-Thats good! We did it...)
Reine • de • Aji: About the earlier story...
I‘ll surely lend you the pendant.
Yui: T-Thank you!
(I got it!)
Reine • de • Aji: There... the Sakamki one.
Shu: ...*yawns*
Reine • de • Aji: I honestly thought you guys would actually quickly give up on it.
But, you somehow managed to make me happy. Especially this young girl.
... This child really shows a lot of joy and happiness.
You really chose a nice partner. As expected from the eldest son of the Sakamaki family.
Shu: Thank you.
Yui: (Did his personality... just change? He may be a little shy after all)
Place: Hotel Mondstein — Guest room
Tumblr media
Yui: (If you put a photo in this pendant and wear it, you can become that person)
(It's really strange when you think about it again.)
Anyway ... It looks like the party is fully organized now.
Shu: Yes
But ... you forgot one important thing.
Yui: What is it... ?
(What could he mean with "important"?)
We have a place, cake, and a surprise ...  maybe…
Shu: .....
Yui: Maybe... ?
Shu: Haa...
Yui: Oh, uhm... would you mind telling me what I forgot to prepare?
Shu: Oh my...
*Shu comes closer*
— My effort
Yui: Yes?
Shu: Reward me.
Who do you think has prepared everything so far?
Yui: (From the beginning with the Gondola, it was impossible to proceed with everything without Shu-san's help)
Shu-san. Thank you very much for today.
I'm sorry for saying this so late.
Shu: Words are not enough.
If I don’t accept, then ... what else would you do?
Why don’t you ask me for something special once in a while?
Yui: Uhh...
(... what I can do ...)
Choices
1) — Massage Shu-san♡♡♡
2) — Write a letter of thanks
Tumblr media
— Massage Shu-san♡
Yui: ... Oh, yes!
What about... giving you a massage?
Shu: Massage...
Yui: (Uh, I’m sure he feels exhausted)
Shu-san, you really worked hard today and that’s when a massage would be good.
Shu: Haha ... It might be good occasionally.  Would you really like to do it then?
Yui: Y-Yes...
Shu: ...Hey. I honestly wouldn’t call this a massage. Try it with more passion.
Yui: Understood.
Shu: ... Hmm...
— Write a letter of appreciation
Yui: Then ...  what about writing a letter of appreciation?
Like this I could show my appreciation in clear words...
Shu: .....
Yui: (Oh, he doesn’t look amazed)
Shu: Haa ... I'll just take what you said.
Yui: Yes...
(I wonder if it would have been much better to give him a massage ...)
(Let's do it next time)
end Choices
Yui: (In any case ... It was good that the party proceeded safely)
(Oh ... but ...)
(Shu-san, he didn’t really like the idea of the pendant)
(I wonder what’s the reason behind it?)

Chapter 1: The game
Today is your birthday, as every year Crowley and Aziraphale have invited you to celebrate this moment in Crowley’s apartment. You’re so excited! You wait for this evening every year, it’s the best party of the year, you spend your night with the two men you love most, drink alcohol, listen to Aziraphale sermonize Crowley about the way he swears all the time. Play alcohol games to end up lying on the sofa with them by your side. Then you go home.
But sometimes you’d like to never go home and spend the night with them. Sleep with them. It’s hard to admit, but you want to feel their hands caressing your body while the alcohol warms your heart. You want to see them kissing on the mouth, wherever there’s a piece of skin. You have always imagined Crowley dominant, fiery and passionate and you have always imagined Aziraphale soft, patiente and attentive. Crowley is so sexy with his snake walk ready to pounce on his prey and Aziraphale is so charming with his all spruced up look… But you chase all the images out of your mind because they are YOUR BEST FRIENDS for god’s sake!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━                                                          6 PM                                          Two hours before the party.                    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
“If I don’t decide to prepare myself, I’m going to be late and Azie will grumble…” You thought, talking to yourself. And your naughty side came back “But maybe I’ll get a punishment… lying on Aziraphale’s thick and soft legs… ” no no no no “STOP IT Y/N” Were you really screaming at yourself ? … It was so hard for you to not think these naughty things about them, you are lucky enough to already know what they look like when they are practically naked because you sometimes help Aziraphale and Crowley choose their clothes when you do shopping. It really helps your overactive imagination even more.
After showering, it’s time to choose your clothes you’re going to wear. You always dress very sexy when you go to see them, because there’s a part of you that wants to seduce them. You like it when Crowley looks at you and tells you you’d be a perfect succubus. You like it even more when Aziraphale looks at you from head to toe in shock and then tells you that you could make him fall. But you know they tell you that to be nice, you know they’re not attracted to women. It’s like “gay friend’s compliments” for you, but you still like those compliments, you feel desired by them just for a moment.
You are wearing black underwear in lace, Crowley’s favorite color. You chose this tight black dress that enhances your shapes. At the front, it goes up to your neck and encircles it with a thin lace strap. The opening at the back of your dress shows your finely drawn back. You slide your fishnet tights along your legs and attach them to your suspenders. Aziraphale loves fishnet tights, he likes it on you and he likes wearing them too. You choose to wear your most beautiful red pumps, color of your passion for them.
Now it’s make-up time ! You opted for a pale skin, smoky black eyes and a pulpy red mouth.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━                                                        7.50 PM                     You are too early, you are waiting in front of the door.                    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You know Aziraphale hates late people so you left your house early. You patiently wait until it’s 8:00 in front of the door, when suddenly you hear through the door :
“Crowley, I don’t think that’s a good idea, I think a more common gift would be better. Can you imagine if she has a bad reaction ?!” Aziraphale’s voice was worried.
“Oh come on Azie, we both know it’s something she’s been wanting for a long time!”
“No no no no no, Crowley. I don’t know! I don’t know! That’s the problem. What if you’re wrong? What if she doesn’t want that… Gift ?!” Your ear glued to the door, you were starting to worry, why were they arguing about your gift? What gift?
“Angel, I’m a demon, she can’t hide from me what she wants deep down.” *Silence* “Ohwww fine ! If she doesn’t like it we can pretend it’s just a joke and…” *Knock Knock*. You haven’t seen the time passed, it’s 8.00 PM. Before Crowley finishes his sentence, you knock at the door. Their conversation was really starting to stress you out. You heard quick steps coming towards you before the door opened. Crowley was standing in front of you with a tense smile, you lean to the side to see that Aziraphale was sitting on the sofa with a false surprised look.
“Oh sweetheart, you’re in advance w-we were t-talking ab-about… uhm…” Aziraphale stuttering. “We were talking about how happy we were to see you, love! Come in, don’t just stand there!” Crowley interrupted him.
You came in with a smile on your face trying to forget what you had heard 10 minutes earlier.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━                                                           9 PM                   You just finished dinner. You’re going to sit on the sofa.                    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
You are sitting next to Aziraphale on the sofa and Crowley is sitting on a chair in front of you, there is a table between you, where your glasses of red wine are. You were gossiping about the Archangel Gabriel when Crowley asked :
“Y/N sweetheart, have you found the man of your dreams? You told us about an "Alex”, how are things going with him?“ You didn’t expect this question, rather unusual from Crowley who thinks no man is good enough for you.
"Well, we met a few times but he told me he wasn’t ready to get into a relationship so… I just.. Gave up.” You said.
“What an asshole! He doesn’t know what he’s missing ! Men are so …” Aziraphale says angry. “Langage Azie !” you interrupted him with a mischievous smile. “Sorry sweetheart, what I’m trying to say is that you deserve better!” he responds kissing you on your forehead.
“Soooooo you haven’t had sex in a long time, right? Not too hard?” Said Crowley, out of nowhere.
Aziraphale’s reaction was not long in coming. “Crowley! That’s not a question you ask to a lady! What’s on your mind! »
"Oh, come on! She’s a big girl Azie, let her answer. So, Y/N ?” There you were, with your mouth open, shocked by the question Crowley had just asked you. Of course you talk about sex with them, but in general you have a lot of alcohol in your blood!
Laughing, you answer “I have to admit, it must have been a long time ago, but I’m fine, Crowley, don’t worry.”
“I don’t understand how a woman like you, so beautiful, elegant, smart, sexy, is in need of sex. You should have all men at your feet… It’s a crime to leave you like this…” Aziraphale gave Crowley a dark look. You don’t know what’s going on, but you feel the heat rising to your cheeks. Crowley’s words touch you deeply in your body. You don’t know what to say to what Crowley just said, you’re not going to thank him, no… But if he keeps talking to you like that you won’t be able to hold back your desire to thank him, on your knees.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━                                                          11 PM                You feel the alcohol running through your body, you’re drunk.                They are too. You are playing a drinking game, truth or dare.                    ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
It was your turn to ask Azie. “Annnngel, t-truth or dare ?”
“Uhmmm… Truth pleeeease!” he said with mocking eyes.
“Okay okay, uhmmm… Have you ever slept with a girl?” you ask smiling.
“Of course I have !” he claims.“I’m an Angel but I’m not perfect !” he whispers with a false exaggerated expression of discomfort.
“It’s your turn Crowley! Ask me !” Meanwhile, Crowley didn’t say anything, he was staring at you he was looking at a part of your body. you followed his gaze and he landed on your legs, your dress went up and was showing your suspenders. Embarrassed, you lowered your dress, your cheeks red. “Sorry about the view Crowley, I didn’t notice that…” “Oh, don’t be sorry, dear” He interrupts you. “The view was perfect, wasn’t it Aziraphale? "Aziraphale looked you in the eyes and then slowly descended towards your body. "Oh yes, perfect. "You wonder if you heard what they just said, you think you’re dreaming. What’s going on? Is it the alcohol or is it hot in this room? You take off your pumps, as if this scorching heat could be reduced with less clothes.
Crowley leans over to you and says, "Remember when I helped you with your car last time? »
"Y-yes, of course, w-why?” you answer shyly.
He looks at you for a few seconds before he talks. “You told me you owed me something, I want this thing to be a truth and a dare. »
So simple! "Ohw yes Crowley, that suits me! I I couldn’t help you fix your car.” You said giggling.
Crowley looked at Aziraphale with a naughty smile. “I start with the truth, Y/N, have you ever fantasized about me and Aziraphale ?” Your face is decomposing. How did He know? Red goes up your cheeks, you hesitate between answering honestly or getting up and running out of the apartment. If you confess your secret, maybe they won’t want to be friends with you anymore? You can tell the truth and pretend it was a joke tomorrow…
You rub your hands together nervously, “Actually, maybe sometimes…” Crowley interrupts you with a wave of his hand, more firmly he says, “Be a good girl, be honest. ». The silence in the room was embarrassing, you had to say something because it was getting suspicious, Aziraphale was looking at you with big eyes, waiting for your answer impatiently. "Y-yes…” you sigh coyly.
“Great” says Crowley softly, almost like a whisper. “Now, it’s dare time! I’m going to put some music and I want you to give us a sexy dance.”
He wasn’t serious, you can’t do that. Not in front of… Them. You look at Aziraphale with an interrogating look, but he says nothing and waits for your answer. Your eyes are glued to the ground, intimidated, “Crowley, uhm… i-i’ll n-not uhm… Give y-you a lap dance, i-i can’t do…”
“Oh no I’m not asking you that, i just want you to give us a sexy dance in front of us, and so we can watch. That’s all ” Crowley’s gaze was different, reptilian. You felt an animosity coming from him, it turned you on but it scared you too.
Aziraphale hastened to speak. “You don’t have to do it if you don’t want to sweetheart. Huh, Crowley?” “Yes, of course,” Crowley replied without taking his eyes off you.
“O-Okay” you said.
Crowley snaps his fingers and the music *Beyonce - Naughty girl* starts. You are smiling now, it was just for fun! You knew it! You knew it! You know Crowley put that song on because he knows you love it, there’s nothing sexual about it! So you start dancing without restraint. You dance like they are not in the same room, you forget them. You move your hips while caressing your face, you put your hand through your hair. You wave your body, close your eyes and feel the music carry you away.
Minutes pass, dancing in this way awakens your sexual appetite, you start moaning while you dance when suddenly you feel strong hands grabbing your hips from behind. You open your eyes, Crowley is in front of you, his eyes darkened by desire, your mouths are so close, they could touch. He leans towards your neck and gives you wet kisses. You turn your head slightly, Aziraphale is against your butt, he presses your hips against his own, burying his nose in your hair. Crowley caresses your legs and lifts your dress slightly. “C-Crowley, A-Az… w-wait…”
It’s like a dream come true, but if it’s just a game for them, they have to stop. The heat rises in your body, you are burning inside, it hurts. Your panties are getting wet. Soon you won’t be able to control yourself. “You just have one word to say, and we stop. Say it love, if you don’t want our hands on your eager body, tell us to stop.” Husked Aziraphale in your ear encircling his arms around you, deliciously caressing your belly.
“N-no, it’s not t-that” you moan. “I-I just…” you stammer. But you just can’t speak anymore, Aziraphale’s hands have gone up to your breasts, he caresses them gently, your nipples harden when he touches them with his angel fingers. Crowley has slipped his hand under your dress, with a firm hand, he takes your chin between his fingers and moves your face up towards his. “Look at me, I want to see the pleasure corrupt your eyes.” While his other hand roughly caresses your private parts. It was exactly as you imagined it would be. Aziraphale so soft and Crowley so rough. So they are not playing a game…
Aziraphale puts his hands inside your dress to have better access to your breasts. Crowley has stopped touching you, he’s just looking at you in the eyes, always holding your chin firmly between his fingers, you want to touch him, you want to give him pleasure too. You can see he’s excited because of the erection in his pants. You can feel Aziraphale’s erection against your butt and it turns you on. You move your hands towards Crowley, to touch that part of his anatomy that you have so dreamed of. But before you can touch him, he slaps your hands away, his hand leaves your chin and comes into your hair. He grabs your hair firmly and pulls it a little. “Did I tell you, you could touch me? ” . “N-no” you said softly.
Crowley looks at Aziraphale mischievously over your shoulder and says, “I think she deserves a little punishment, what do you think, Angel?”

12-Tooth and Nail
(Setting: Mor Dhona, post 5.3, a few days after “Avail.”)
“I am not entirely sure why you’ve dragged me along for this, Y’shtola. It’s not like I know a thing about magic.”
Behind Baidar, Y’shtola gave Darya a brief smile before saying “Perhaps, dear, I’ve brought you here to be a suitable target?” Darya gasped in a fashion that suggested dismay, but given the impish expression on her face, she knew that Y’shtola did not mean it. She was, herself, wondering why Baidar had been asked to join them outside of Mor Dhona, not far, in fact, from where he and G’raha Tia had fought the malfunctioning node. Blackened scars from the weapons Baidar had described had been burned into the crystal and rock on the path that they were taking, signs of the eccentric path the machine had taken before Baidar had destroyed it. She merely assumed that Y’shtola knew what she was doing and Baidar’s presence there would make sense in time.
She wondered if perhaps that was a sizable assumption to be made, but time would tell.
She was, admittedly, distracted by what she was wearing. Earlier in the day, Y’shtola had sent her to one of the vendors in Mor Dhona to collect gear suitable for an inexperienced mage from Aelina. Aelina had excitedly explained to Darya that the armor and arms she sold had been developed by the Ironworks and was one of the chief products sold to adventurers who passed through Mor Dhona, but mostly she’d worried at just how...tight the armor looked to be. Looking at herself in the mirror of the room in the Rising Stones she’d changed into it in, she had been right to worry. It wasn’t quite a second skin-that honor went to the Allagan armor Baidar had been field testing for Cid in Azys Lla, the one where, once he’d come home to the place in Shirogane, Kage had insisted Baidar dunk himself into the tub over-but it was enough for her to blush a bit. She’d gotten used to it as they’d made their way towards Silvertear, and of the weight of the oddly flexible iron staff on her back, but it was quite unlike what she had worn as a huntress, and she missed the feel of her bow and quiver.
“Are we back to the line about you only wounding me if your aim is off?” Baidar asked.
“That depends entirely on how sarcastic you are during the run of the day.”
“Aww man, I’m in trouble now.” He sidestepped an attempt by Y’shtola to poke him in the rear with her staff. “Is that any way to treat a weapon made by the finest weapon smiths of the Eorzean Alliance?”
“I would merely have them make me another one.”
Baidar grinned. “I’d love to see that conversation. ‘Yes, I seem to have broken my staff attempting to chastise the Warrior of Light, could you make me another?”
“Dear, you are perfectly aware that when I chastise you, it’s not with my staff.”
Darya was not shocked to see a blush race up from the collar of Baidar’s armor to his hairline in record time; he had a well deserved reputation for being easily flustered by those he was involved with. “Ahh. Yes. Right. In all seriousness, Y’shtola, why am I here?”
Y’shtola came to a halt, Darya falling beside her. “Consider this merely a reprieve, Baidar. You are here to be a lesson in power.”
“This should be good.”
“Hush, dear.” She turned her attention to Darya. “I think you deserve to know what walking the path to great magical power can mean before you truly dive into the deeper mysteries, Darya. Power in and of itself is neutral. It is neither good nor evil, but how the user chooses to, well, use it determines how it is viewed. This is a rather, shall we say, basic lesson. I would not be shocked if you’ve heard it before.”
Darya nodded. “When I was young, yes. They would teach those who would use magic in Kisne with words such as those.”
“I expected such. However, there is power…”
She nodded at Baidar. “And then there’s the sort of power Baidar wields.” She rested her hand on Baidar’s hand, lightly, as was her wont. “Show her how strong you are. It will be easier for her to understand if you do.”
Baidar was gripping his katana, Dragonsong, with one hand, his expression somber. Then he nodded and began walking away from them. “Stay back,” he warned. “Not an ilm closer.”
“We will be fine, Baidar. I haven’t entirely forgotten how to raise a barrier.”
“You’ve never raised one for me using Dragonsong, though.” He kept walking, in the direction of Silvertear, his long stride quickly carrying him fifty yalms, drawing the katana with one hand.
Darya considers the scene before her for a moment as Baidar assumes a two handed stance with Dragonsong, and something occurs to her. “You’ve never seen him use that katana, have you?” she asked into Y’shtola’s ear.
“Oh, I have,” she replied. “I helped with the design of it. But I’ve never seen him use it to the fullest extent of his power. Naoh’li and Kage did, in the last battle against Elidibus, but I prefer to see with my own eyes.” She smiled an enigmatic smile. “After a fashion.”
Darya was about to ask what she meant-she didn’t expect to get an answer, mind, but she was still going to ask-when she realized that the ground was beginning to shake beneath her feet. She was about to shout a warning that there was some sort of earthquake happening when she looked at Baidar and realized he was the reason the ground was shaking. He had been enveloped by the blood red aura that surrounded Dragonsong, an aura that erupted into the sky in a pillar of crimson with such force that cracks appeared in the ground around him. I had no idea, she thought, that he was so powerful. That the sweet and goofy man I know had this in him. What is he?
The answer came to her in a flash of insight, and it was dreadfully obvious.
He was a Warrior of Light.
The ground shook harder as the aura around him flared ever brighter, and Y’shtola snapped her hands into the air, surrounding them with a barrier of light, effort visible on her face. “He wasn’t kidding,” she said. “By the Twelve, Baidar, how strong are you now?”
With a wordless shout, Baidar bounded into the air, Dragonsong slashing in the air in a complex, quick pattern of slashes, and energy erupted from the blade, sheer power that raced towards the lake and smashed into the water, detonating in a massive explosion that showered them with water that fell on Y’shtola’s barrier, steam rising from it. Baidar landed on his feet, sheathed Dragonsong, then turned and sketched an elaborate bow to the two of them. “You are such a wise ass, dear.” Y’shtola called.
“That’s why you love me,” he yelled back. He turned to admire his work, whistling loudly.
“Brat,” she whispered, before turning her attention back to Darya. “That, Darya, is power. And the greater the power, the greater the responsibility you have with using it. The first thing I have to teach you, the most important thing of all, is knowing when not to use it. There are times, of course, when you have no choice. If you are on a battlefield, fighting an enemy who has chosen to fight tooth and nail with you, and your life's on the line, then it is an easy choice. But sometimes, using your power will be the wrong decision. It will turn a friend into a foe, or will cause all hope of a peaceful resolution to vanish. The first thing about power is that sometimes, not using it is the best use of all.”
She turned toward Darya and laid her hand across her arm, her touch feather light. “Are you certain that you wish to learn magic?”
Darya let her breath out, not realizing she had been holding it, Y’shtola’s touch a fire that burned her. “I do. I do.”
“Very good. Wait here, then. I wish to talk to a certain brat.” She walked over to where Baidar stood, one hand again on the katana, peering off into the distance. “You’re wondering why I did this, aren’t you?”
Baidar shook his head. “You wanted her to know the kind of world she would be entering if she uses magic, and I’m the most extravagant example of it you know. And you haven’t seen me go all out with Dragonsong, so you were curious.”
“Clever boy.” She slipped her arm into his, like she did when they’d walked through Gridania a few days earlier. “You weren’t kidding, though. Holding back the energy you were outputting took effort from me. It seems Dragonsong was a worthy investment for you.”
He smiled, and bent to kiss her forehead in the way she liked, and he doesn’t say what he could say.
He hadn’t even been trying hard when he’d used Dragonsong.

The In Between
Fandom: Good Omens
Characters: Crowley/Aziraphale (very pre-slash, thanks Aziraphale)
Summary: They meet at the in betweens - between the beginning and the end - and yet Aziraphale refuses to acknowledge what they’ve been through. It hurts Crowley more than he can explain.
Words: 1 284
They met at the start of the world, and they met at the potential end. But during the in between, they did more than meet.
Crowley had accepted that Aziraphale refused to acknowledge the in between when they met again during emergencies, but he remembered. He remembered the walks along the Nile, watching Egypt thrive. Cleopatra’s reign, the fall of the Roman Empire, the Vikings taking over the sea. He was there for all of them, sometimes with Aziraphale at his side, the latter frowning or smiling depending on what part of history they were witnessing.
Crowley remembered the meals shared in small taverns on Greek side streets, both remembering when those lands were a battlefield.
“I talked to Homer once, you know,” Azi had said, his eyes on the cobblestone. “I asked him to write it all down.”
They met on the mountainside in China, took a short trip through Mogadishu, once had lunch in Moscow. On one particularly rough night they stayed at a motel in California, like some sort of cliché. But he remembered the week in Bolivia the most. They truly had had no reason to stay a week. Aziraphale had already purchased his bookstore at that point, and yet they’d stayed, in a small town up north.
Much had been said during that week. Too much, Crowley decided when Azi refused to act on it once they’d left. Maybe he hadn’t understood what Crowley had meant when he’d said that he could spend the rest of eternity by his side and not once be unhappy. Maybe Crowley had been too forward, but come on, they’d known each other at least 5000 years at that point.
“You go too fast for me, Crowley,” Azi said many years later, the two in Crowley’s car. Maybe that was true, but Satan help him if he had to slow down to Azi’s snail pace anytime soon.
Yeah, he was bitter. Bitter that only he seemed to remember the in between.
Usually, they met in London. On a park bench, having ice cream or coffee or nothing, and then sharing a meal at whatever restaurant Aziraphale led them to. But Crowley’s mind was still in that motel in Bolivia, tucked between the sheets in the dimly lit room with only one bed. Silk pyjamas even in the heat, the TV on way past their bedtime. No reason to stay, finding many reasons to leave, and yet staying anyway.
For years, Crowley would return, without Aziraphale, just to make sure the place had been real. He even shed a tear, when he returned one day to find it gone. Demolished. An earthquake or an accident or a thoroughly thought through decision to let that part of the village go.
He never told Azi about all of this. Had had his heart, or whatever the demon equivalent to it was, broken too many times when Aziraphale pretended not to remember. Made light of the whole thing. He would never understand it.
“I don’t even like you.”
“Way to go, angel,” he’d wanted to say. “You’ve discovered how to kill a demon without holy water.”
And then they’d saved the world, and with Aziraphale’s bookshop burnt to the ground he’d had no choice but to come spend the night at Crowley’s.
“You can have the bed,” he told him. “I’ve passed out on the couch more times than I can count anyway.”
“I can’t possibly kick you out of your own bed, Crowley,” Aziraphale said, appalled.
“And I can’t put a guest with nowhere to go on my shitty couch.”
“Well, I guess we’ll have to share the bed then.”
Crowley blinked, once, twice, took off his sunglasses as if he’d hear him more clearly without them. “You want to share a bed?”
Aziraphale wasn’t looking at him. “I see no reason why not.”
“You’ll pretend it didn’t happen tomorrow,” Crowley didn’t say aloud. “You always do.”
Nothing would happen. Nothing happened in Bolivia, apart from words. It was enough for him. Always had been. Aziraphale padded across the room, slid in under the covers beside him, and Crowley felt the sadness engulf him. Aziraphale’s sadness for the bookshop. The inevitable consequences. Their ineffable situations.
Crowley shut his eyes, willing sleep to come quickly. Unable to stand another moment of Azi’s weight beside him without any proper contact. 6000 years of this. 6000 years of Aziraphale pretending they weren’t friends. 6000 years of Crowley pretending he didn’t care after each rebuke.
He cared so much it almost broke him.
“I’m sorry I didn’t let you grieve for your car,” Aziraphale suddenly said, his voice so low Crowley might’ve imagined it.
He opened his eyes again, turning his head to see the vague outline of his one companion. Aziraphale wasn’t looking at him, as far as he could tell.
“It wasn’t the time,” Crowley replied. “Much more critical matters to take care of.”
“Still. It was unfair of me to dismiss your feelings.”
“Is this about your bookshops?”
Aziraphale exhaled slowly. “I’m being selfish. I only realized your pain once I was going through it myself.” He turned toward him, rolling onto his side so that their faces were almost touching. “I’m gonna go visit it tomorrow. Say a proper goodbye. If you want I can go with you to the Air Force and do the same to your car.”
Crowley didn’t dare move. “I’ve made my peace.”
“You haven’t.”
“Since when are you an expert on my feelings?”
“Can’t you see, you silly demon?” Aziraphale was smiling. Crowley could hear it in his voice. “I always was.”
6000 years for that acknowledgment. 6000 years of stolen in between’s.
Crowley didn’t know what to do with this moment now. He felt damn near close to exploding.
“Can I hold your hand?” Aziraphale finally asked. “Just this once?”
“I’m not letting you hold anything if you’re only gonna do it once,” was Crowley’s reply, and Aziraphale laughed and laughed and clutched at his fingers, the contact so sudden Crowley nearly withdrew.
“So needy.” Azi gave his hand a squeeze. “You were always so needy.”
Crowley had to admit moments like this weren’t anywhere near his area of expertise so, naturally, he panicked; thinking a poke to Azi’s side was the appropriate response.
Oh, but Aziraphale’s response was definitely one for the books.
“6000 years and I find out you’re ticklish now.”
“It’s my vessel-”
“Which you’ve had since we first met.”
“Oh, come on now, don’t do anything drastic.”
“When have I ever done anything drastic, angel?”
“Do I really need to answer that- wait!”
Crowley never expected his first proper contact with Aziraphale to be due to a sensitive vessel, but he’d take anything he was given. To hear his laughter wasn’t too shabby either, he had to admit. Sitting up so that he could trap him against the mattress more effectively, Crowley let his fingers spider up Azi’s sides.
He hadn’t tickled many people (or any), but he’d seen it happen on both screens and in front of him, and when he expected Aziraphale to kick out and try to get away, he found him merely squirming. Giggling, yes - which was wonderful, shh - but other than his body’s automatic response he didn’t seem to be suffering too much at Crowley’s hands.
Huh. That was a first.
“Stop it,” he pleaded anyway, gripping one of Crowley’s wrists, but doing nothing to push it off.
“Can’t handle it, angel?”
“Don’t be mean!”
“I’m a demon.”
“You’re a softie- ah, no!”
“That’s for the insult.”
The night turned out to be much easier than they’d expected. A good way to prepare for the hardships of the next day, Crowley decided.

Ok, can I talk a little thing (or two) about Good Omens impressions?
Or actually, can I talk a little about the development of their love story as shown in the (glorious) third episode?
I was re-watching the series with my husband and, when it came to this specific episode, some things came to my mind while watching the marvelous half an hour of it that I’d like to put into words for a better understanding, for me and for y’all that maybe agree with me.
First of all, I’m gonna start from the idea that Crowley wasn’t primarily in love with him since the Garden of Eden, but acquired a heavy interest, almost an obsession, towards Aziraphale (the first angel that treated him as an equal) that slowly translated into pure affection (and eventual love) throughout 6000 years together. Where this transition occurred is not clear during the scenes, since the whole flashback is told from the angel’s point of view… except the 1967 scene, and this is important.
Secondly, I’ve already seen many people discussing that, in the 1941 church scene, Aziraphale didn’t found out he was in love with Crowley, but that he was being loved back, and I personally agree with this thinking line. This is also very important.
Why? Let’s go back a little bit…
(This is gonna be long, please bear with me…)
So, based on what’s written in the book, Aziraphale and Crowley agreed on sealing the Arrangement in 1020 AD, and the series showed very well the changes in their dynamics between 537 AD (before the Arrangement) and 1601 (after the Arrangement), where I’ll start.
Aziraphale leaves this marvelously obvious when he basically smiles at the sight of Crowley (even though he also smiled when saw him at Rome in 41 AD) and, well, asking for extra favors with that puppy eyes of him…
Tumblr media
(and Crowley accepting, which is adorable in my opinion)
Tumblr media
They’re doing favors to each other for almost 600 years by then, seeing each other more frequently than ever, so yes, they’re already seeing each other as friends (or at least kind of coworkers). Is Crowley spoiling the angel and said angel is starting to take advantage of this demon’s tendency? Absolutely. But romance…? Maybe not yet.
And then, well, comes French Revolution and Aziraphale is locked in the Bastille in the verge of being discorporated and Crowley comes to the rescue. Maybe the angel hadn’t fallen in love yet with the demon, but I’m in favor of the theory that, being the bastard that we already noticed he can be, Aziraphale walked into France aware he wasn’t appropriately suited for the historical moment (and with a miracle restraint) hoping to run into Crowley. So, yeah, that would justify the literal stars that shone in his eyes when he listened to his demon’s voice:
Tumblr media
I could screenshot this entire scene piece by piece to prove my point, but I won’t, ok? The entire development leaves clear their mutual pining and how used to Crowley being always there Aziraphale became in those 770 years of Arrangement, to the point of risking his human form in the name of gluttony, almost in a leap of faith because he was sure Crowley would save him at the end.
(Aaaand he does all this not so little selfish things conscious that they could bring problems to Crowley, as he mentioned during the Globe Theatre scene, but the demon keeps doing anyway just to please his angel… Is Crowley already in love? Probably yes)
And then we arrive in 1862, and that for me was the breaking point in their relationship. Up to now, as I mentioned, Aziraphale always had the certainty that Crowley would be there for him, but this drastically changes here. I have my own thoughts about the holy water situation, and what amazes me the most is the fact that, instead of reading Crowley’s request as “I want holy water so I have a weapon to use against other demons if they ever come to me”, he read like “I want holy water to end my own life in case everything goes wrong”.
You can see, right here, his change of posture:
Tumblr media
What does it mean? Simply that, for the first time in 5840 years, Aziraphale felt the fear of really losing Crowley, forever, no coming back, and panicked. The panic was big enough to label their relationship as other thing than friendship (probably as a defense mechanism against the fear of losing, even what they have done all those millenia is, indeed, fraternizing), which enrages Crowley: So what you’re saying is that I’ve been fooling myself all these centuries thinking of you as a friend, as someone I could trust my fucking demon life???
Thinking about it while writing, the whole “I-don’t-need-you-And-the-feeling-is-mutual-obviously” sounds like pure bickering from both sides trying to hurt the other. Do they succeed into it? Marvelously: they stop talking to each other, Crowley probably goes to his century-long nap (while hating himself for the fact that he knows he loves the angel, otherwise he wouldn’t be so angry with the fraternizing thing), and Aziraphale starts attending Gentlemen’s Clubs to forget his sorrows and try to detach from Crowley (any ficwriter can insert Oscar Wilde right here in Azi’s life). Their relationship ruins from here, and they’ll never be the same.
So, we arrive at 1941, both angel and demon living their lives fully apart from each other… but Crowley is unable to refrain himself from worrying about his angel. And then, that pathetic excuse of a demon, aware that Aziraphale was manipulated by the Nazis to hand over his precious books and was about to be discorporated again, enters a church, steps on consecrated ground and diverges a whole enemy attack to save the angel he loves.
Meanwhile, Aziraphale really considers he’s totally alone this time (i.e. without the guarantee of Crowley being around, because he barely knows if he still exists), doomed, forced to being discorporated and having to deal with celestial paperwork… Look at the despair in his eyes:
Tumblr media
Thankfully, things go well and the two escape miraculously from the explosion, and Aziraphale can breathe again, like things can almost go back to how they were before. Almost.
 And then comes The Scene:
Tumblr media
And that’s here, the exact moment, when Crowley, more than saving his life (which, btw, he had no obligation to do), also saved his books, that Aziraphale actually feels Crowley’s love for him emanating for the first time, and it leaves the angel absolutely astonished. His feelings are being returned for real, and he honestly doesn’t know what to do about it.
Tumblr media
Look at him, look at his eyes and dare to tell me this isn’t pure love??? He thought he lost his friend, but in the end he came back in his aid, like some sort of knight in a shining armor… and also saves everything he cares about!! (bonus points for the romantic soundtrack, Mr. Arnold)
Poor Aziraphale. (evil laugh)
Finally, we arrive at 1967, where this whole consideration came from. As I said, this is the only scene from Crowley’s POV, and there’s a reason to it: up to this point, Aziraphale is finally certain of his own feelings and that he’s actually being reciprocated, but the other side isn’t. So, while Crowley keeps going with his plan, the angel decided to pay back the gesture from 1941 by providing the Holy Water he needs so much.
What does it mean? It means for Aziraphale an opportunity to stop Crowley from hurting himself again or being caught by Heaven’s lot during the robery (even if providing said water causes trouble to himself), but mostly is another leap of faith to both sides: Aziraphale is willing to trust that Crowley won’t kill himself with Holy water while asking Crowley to trust his word and keep the fucking tartan thermos closed until it’s needed (which he actually does).
So, what I really, really wanted to reach is this specific point:
Tumblr media
Tbh, their interpretation was crucial to me here because, let’s be real, the dialogue in this scene is very subtle in its real meaning. This moment is Crowley’s time to realize and understand what’s going on with Aziraphale through the last hundred years, and it hits him like a rock: his angel loves him enough to go against his own principles to attend his request, sacrificing his rationality and risking being discovered. He’s right there, by his side, raw and truly open like he wasn’t for centuries, letting the demon sense his own feelings for the very first time. So yes, after everything he said, Crowley, he loves you back.
And, interesting enough, what’s his first reaction after acknowledging this fact? Offer a ride, wanting to spend some time with his beloved angel and, who knows, make up for lost time. But Aziraphale feels too fragile, too uneasy, about the fact that he opened himself for Crowley and now the demon truly knows his feelings, and needs time to rebuild his walls and create a convincing facade that’ll deceive his lot he has nothing to do with his hereditary enemy. He wants to reciprocate Crowley, but now like that, it’s too early for him yet: Don’t expect me to accept your advances right away, I’m feeling too vulnerable right now and I’m afraid that I’ll let you consume me completely if I surrender in my current state, so please respect my time.
Tumblr media
Interesting enough, Crowley actually kept his cool facade in 1941, when he let the angel see his true feelings, something that seemed impossible to Aziraphale when he did the same. He’s an angel, after all, he’s unable to lie!
This way, he’ll probably only understand Aziraphale’s insecurities when he goes through the same situation, or at least the closest he’ll get: while the angel feared losing the demon, the demon really lost the angel, and with him his stability, his other half, his world:
Tumblr media
And suddenly, running away from the Apocalypse didn’t matter anymore, to the point the sunny ballad of “You’re My Best Friend” turns into the anguished prayer of “Somebody to Love”.
