(Inspired by this quote from the book ‘Good Omens’ -  he could do really weird things with his tongue …)

“Come on, angel!” Crowley whines. “That’s your fifth slice so far!”

Aziraphale lifts his fork to his lips, fully prepared for another bite of the scrumptious German chocolate cake on his plate. “And I’m very much enjoying it.”

“Yes, but this is our honeymoon! And forgive me for saying so, but there’re things other than cake I’d like to be eating right now!”

Aziraphale’s lips twist, his husband’s comment nearly costing him his appetite.

Nearly.

“Ugh, Crowley! I do forgive you, but this is no time to be vulgar.”

“Absolutely.” Crowley starts searching the floor for the waiter, ready to ask for their check. “I agree. Quite right. So let’s go back to our room where I can be vulgar in private. You, too, if I’m lucky.”

Klaine one-shot - “The Dangers of Self-Medicating” (Rated PG13)

Summary: Kurt gets sick on a business trip, and everything he does just to get home makes it worse. (2024 words)

Notes: So, I have been feeling a little blue and entirely unmotivated, so I started editing some old work and came across this one. It’s the first thing I’ve laughed at in a couple of days, so I re-wrote it for Klaine (just in case it looks familiar, now you know).

“Sir?”

“Mmmrrr … hmmm?”

“Sir? We’re here.”

“Here?” Kurt’s eyelids flutter slightly, opening a sliver. But when the mid-morning sun hits their dry, red surface, he immediately shuts them again. “Where’s here?”

“15-22 Mulberry Place? It’s the address you gave me.”

“The address I … wha—?” Kurt pries open his eyes. The address sounds familiar, but the voice speaking to him doesn’t. There’s a lot of mud and fog cluttering his brain. The last thing he remembers is being in his hotel room, packing his bag. No, it was losing his breakfast, and lunch and dinner from the day before, in an airport toilet. No, no, it was waiting by the curb, clutching on to the handle of his carry-on for support while he waited for his Uber to arrive.

Uber! He’s in an Uber! Which means he must be …

“Home?” he says in a raw, grumbly voice.

The Good Omens Silver Screen Bang brings writers and artists together to retell a movie through a Good Omens lens!

Which of your favorite characters are having Breakfast at Tiffany’s? How is Beelzebub handling zir new Neighbor Totoro? How did 007 react to meeting Crowley, Anthony Crowley?

AUs, fusions, Good Omens characters just dropping into the story--any way you want to tell it is welcome here!

Writers, this is your chance to introduce the fandom to your favorite movie. And artists, you get to show us that classic scene burnt into our brains, but with our favorite supernatural beings.

How it works: Writers will pick a movie of any genre and submit a proposal on how they will retell the story of that movie with their favorite Good Omens characters. Artists will then choose their favorite proposals and create two (2) pieces of art for it: a movie poster and a scene from the fic.
