That's actually hilarious. He doesn't need to say it because it's just clear how much he genuinely loves, respects and admires Misha. Actions speak louder than words.

Besides, it counts more how you talk about someone when they're not around than to their face, and if you're comfortable enough with someone to constantly joke with them and you both have that 100% comfortable and happy aura while doing it, it just means that you're very close to that person. Like, you would never jokingly insult a friend that you're not really close with because they may get offended, but you could even safely call your best friend stupid because you're both close enough to know you would never mean it literally, but only affectionately or as an inside joke.

That said, he speaks too. When Jensen was at the Con Crossroads 6 in Brighton last March with Daneel, they both couldn't stop talking about Misha during their panel (and Misha wasn't even present at that Con), like literally nobody even asked about Misha, but they both kept bringing him up in their replies, praising him for his charity work with Random Acts and talking about him (and Cas).

There are definitely hundreds of other examples I could bring but this is just one of the most recent ones that i can think of.

Like at the Jib11 Jensen said that "Daneel refers to Misha as her boyfriend", and then he added, "which is funny cause so do I" and then he genuinely laughed in a super sweet way (it was in one of his panels, i don't remember which one, you can see it on YouTube).

not rlly byler related but i’ve been thinking about why the majority of the fandom sees joyce as the best parent and i think i finally got it. even if she makes mistakes (as every parent does), she does a thing that makes her different and better than most parents in the show and in real life: she sees her kids as people.

let me explain this. when karen talks about d&d she’s like “mike you’ve been playing That game for hours stop🙄”, when he’s talking with el on the phone she spies their conversation ecc. joyce on the other hand actually cares and likes the hobbies of jonathan and will. in s1, when there’s the flashback with joyce and will in castle byers, she knocks, asks if she can enter and says the password: she respects her son’s privacy even if he’s just a kid.

an interesting thing about 90s sonic media thats only based on the original 2d games and nothing else is how they get certain character design elements or lore details wrong but theres not many games to go off of at this point and this was also in an era where sega didnt really take much control over non game media and just let those writers and artists do whatever . so you can kinda see where they would have gotten that idea from. like yeah sonics super form being a completely separate person who sometimes attacks his friends blatantly contradicts the games but back then the games hadnt really given us any reason to believe thats NOT what happens. so .

#yeah fleetway and archie both got parts of the emerald lore wrong at first but the games hadnt really explained it in detail #so can you really blame them for getting it wrong #and then theres also little design details that contradict the games like in fleetway sonic #knuckles' little crescent mark on his chest is colored/drawn as if its a necklace? #and then theres the quill style they gave amy that obviously came from that one art of her from sonic cd #where her quills looked different due to the pose her and sonic were in #like yeha these contradict the game designs but if there wasnt much official art of them or a strict set of guidelines on how to draw them #yeah i can see where they would get this stuff from #feel kind of bad saying they got stuff ''wrong'' when this is a different universe so its technically not wrong #but you get what i mean #fleetwaysonicposting
