the fact that their relationship is so painfully underrated when it's possibly one of the most important relationships in the entire movie series.

they were the first two to enter into Narnia, and from the moment they find themselves there, they become representations of the two sides, Lucy as Aslan's, and Edmund as Jadis'. they grow from being the furthest apart of the four to being the closest, Lucy bringing Edmund back to the light and him being able to rely on his sister. They're the most physically affectionate duo (after Peter and Lucy), and in "Voyage of the Dawn Treader", they're basically able to read each other's minds and trust in each other wholeheartedly.

and don't even get me started on the fact that Lucy is so connected to Edmund's domain, and Edmund is just as connected to Lucy's domain, so much so that during their time as rulers, unless someone knew their full titles, they probably got the domains mixed up.

they share everything with each other, and know each other's worst fear and their nightmares, and now I'm thinking about the fact that, when the train started to derail, Edmund and Lucy just looked at each other, and he immediately pulled her into his arms, hugging her as tightly as he possibly could, and Peter grabbed the two of them and held them close, because they knew what was about to happen, they knew things were going wrong, so all they can do is just hold each other and wait for the inevitable.

What's breaking my heart over and over again is that, during Geto's conversation with Yuki, the sound of applause creeps back to haunt him right the instant Yuki unknowingly feeds the worst part of him, encouraging his darkest thoughts.

But then it stops -- when Yuki reminds him of his humanity. When she reminds him that it's the thoughts that we choose to act upon which define us. That indecision and doubt are sometimes a sign of self struggling against outside forces. That nobody is without dark things, both emotions and thoughts, but it's a part of what makes us human. That, in the end, he has not made his decision yet.

Wasn't it a relief, even if a fleeting, temporary one? To be reminded that he is not the hatred and confusion and resentment festering inside him. That, even though his whole world is faltering, his not that long ago unwavering beliefs are now withering away day by day, he is still in control of himself and his fate. That he is yet to decide what will define him, and it's his and his alone choice to make.

This, after Geto's implying that he's not good enough a person for Haibara to sit next to him.

I keep thinking about how, despite Geto's self isolation, despite his feeling that he's lost and alone in all of this, there were people around him and they were there for him. Yuki, who in her own manner tries to cheer him up and guide him through his desperation (and look, there's only that much she could do). Haibara, who still looks up to him, who asks what Geto wants him to bring for him and who manages to make him laugh a little. Gojo, he does see that Geto is struggling and forsaking taking proper care of himself and does make an attempt to get through to him as best as he can.

But sometimes there are things that cannot be helped. Geto cut himself off from everyone because he convinced himself that he wouldn't be understood. Did he really try to talk to anyone about what's on his mind? Anyone who knows him well enough to also know how to help him? Isn't it why he ends up oversharing to a complete stranger -- because there is no other outlet for his despair? Or no one he allowed himself to see?

It's ever more devastating to watch him spiral and cross the Rubicon after seeing those tiny glimpses of fragile hope for him.

okay so this is super self indulgent but preface for those who arent aware i have this whole full world for my ocs & basically its like a 50/50 chance for any given person to have psychic powers called abilities & this ability is entirely dependent on the person themself & has nothing to do with genetics. ur either born with them or u can get them if ur from a different world & are isekai'd in. the only real thing about abilities is it has to be something a person can do with their mind/state of mind & isnt just like some super power like super strength.

anyway i realized this week i feel like i know the isotopes well enough so i ended up spending a lot of time thinking of what abilities they would have and i give u all my final decisions!!!

Kafu: she has something im going to call window creation. basically the ability to call forth 'windows' which ranges from just invisible walls in the air to creating a pane that lets her (or anyone near by to see it) see into a different place, time, or both. these are in effect solid walls/windows so its theoretically possible to use them as a weapon but given how kafu is i doubt she would think that way & instead would take a more defensive route, using them as a sort of force field or to get info the group otherwise wouldn't know

Sekai: i'm calling hers shadow manipulation. she can take control of shadows in the area and turn them into a semi-physical thing & from there pretty much becomes a distance attacker or defender depending on both her mood & what's necessary. i would like to think she also keeps a little shadow as a pet & it just follows her around or sits on her shoulder. the shadows can change shape btw

Rime: pyromancy. she gets to create & control fire at will. i like to think she puts too much pressure on herself to learn it & ends up unable to do it at first because of that but the second she lets herself breathe she finally gets it & from there puts in so much practice that her style with it ends up absolutely beautiful to watch. default flame color is red bc thats her color but it changes color/temperature with her emotions. u threaten one of the others and watch how fast it ends up blue-white.

Coko: fox. by shifting her mental state she can transform into a fox & while in that form can do things like create wil o wisp/fox fire & force fields, but mostly i think she'd specialize in creating illusions. she probably actually has multiple tails in that form but after drawing the rest of her outfit i thought one was enough to get the idea across. yes this is the third time im giving a chara this ability its bc im not allergic to fun normally people cant talk in the fox form but i like her so i guess she gets a little telepathy as a treat too.

Haru: consciousness walking. that is, she can separate her consciousness from her physical body & move around almost like a ghost. she can interact with the physical world on a minimal level in this state, but more importantly it allows her to see & interact with other people's consciousnesses in a way that's very easy to mess with their perception of the world & throw off their judgment & things like that. kind of like astral projection but not really, also if she gets really skilled with it she'd be able to move both her physical & spiritual forms at once although that is very tiring

Great to know OC like Lunar and Earth get more attention then the actually canon one. Jack-O-Moon is so side joke, Sun getting less attention and Eclipse been replace with a copy. We could of have a Bloodmoon thing going on with Jack. Sun might die and then what? Moon got replace with a new Moon, But sun is been GONE. Also i don´t like how Ruin who is actually name Eclipse change his name to Ruin. Ruin is not good name.
