Azusa could see the fear in your eyes as he held one of his favourite knives to your face asking you to cut him. But you couldn’t do it so you made an excuse out of hurting him. Grabbing the knife and hesitating for a split second, before cutting your arm. His eyes lighting up at the sight. He listened to you as you told him he could drink from you.

-He was unsure but as he spotted the blood run down your arm he couldn’t waste a second and gently held your arm, licking the red liquid off, biting into your cut making you whimper at the feeling.

-After he pulled away he would smile with a flustered expression and put the knife with his collection naming the knife after you, as to him, you both just shared a beautiful and special moment he shall never forget.

a/n: ugh, fuck, i love kou so much y’all. he’s like. idk. so fucking cute i am so ready to write this i am cracking my knuckles 🥺 anyways, i feel like this is so bad—i haven’t written for bo in SO LONGGGG

koutarou clings to your back, far too large to actually wrap his arms and legs around you, but he would if he could.

“y/n…” he whines, resting his head on your shoulder and squeezing your waist tighter in his arms.

“kou, how many times have I told you it won’t be ready for a little while?” you turn around with what little room he’s giving you, placing your hands on either side of his face and squishing his cheeks together. you giggle at his cute little pout, his lips all puckered.

you lean forward and place an exaggerated kiss on his lips, complete with a “mwah!”, making koutarou’s eyes light up.

“better?” you ask, still holding his face so you can look him in the eyes.

“yeah!” kou nods and takes your wrists in his hands, keeping your hands on his face. “i still wanna eat the gingerbread, though!”

you giggle and gently pry your wrists from his grasp, leaning down to look through the little window to the inside of the oven. the gingerbread is still soft, you can tell, but it looks like it’ll be done in twenty minutes or so. for koutarou, though, that might as well be thirty days.

“you don’t wanna decorate it? that’s half the fun of making gingerbread!”

koutarou’s eyes light up once more, seeming to have forgotten the little gingerbread house decorating competition you two were gonna have. whoever’s house was prettier, you’d bring it to the christmas party that kuroo was hosting, and the ugly one would be eaten. it was a win-win situation in both of your eyes.

“ohmigosh, yeah!” koutarou stands up proudly, his arms folded across his chest. you let your gaze trickle down to where his forearm muscles bulged and his biceps popped against the tight, ridiculous, ugly holiday sweater he was wearing. you never pass up the chance to ogle your beefcake of a boyfriend. “sorry, babe, but i’m definitely gonna be the one to bring my masterpiece to kuroo’s! i’m an artistic god!”

“i’m sure you are, kou…” you say, sliding your hands over his arms and smiling up at him mischievously. “so we have about ten or fifteen more minutes left…is there anything you wanna do while we wait?”

koutarou picks up on the suggestive lilt in your voice and a mischievous grin of his own spreads across his lips.

“yeah, let’s make out on the couch.” he says curtly, his lips curling into an even wider grin.

you don’t have to be told twice, so you immediately start making your way toward the couch in the living room. you lay down and look up to see koutarou about to climb on top of you, but then he’s dashing away down the hall, after muttering a quick “wait!”

you hear a rustle down the hall and immediately know what he’s doing. a small breath of a chuckle exits your nose as you watch koutarou reappear and hover over you, dangling something in his hand.

“can’t kiss without mistletoe! ‘tis the season and all that!” koutarou says with a playful grin, continuing to dangle the mistletoe above the two of you while he leans in to press a sweet kiss to your lips. you wrap your arms around his broad shoulders and pull him closer, tilting your head to the side to deepen the kiss.

at this point, koutarou discards the mistletoe on the ground and grips your hips in his strong, calloused hands. so much for tis the season. his tongue runs along the seam of your closed ones and you open them, allowing him to explore your mouth to his hearts content. you feel your heart hammering in your chest, fully enjoying the way he’s kissing you like he’s a marine returning to land, and fully enjoying the little moans and whines coming from way dep down in his chest.

he brings your hips up and uses his knee to separate your legs so he can sit in between them, jutting his own hips into the apex of your thighs. you gasp as he starts to slowly roll his hips against you, feeling a bit overwhelmed at the way he’s rutting against you and practically shoving his tongue down your throat.

the beeping of the timer separates your lips from koutarou’s, and you rush over to the oven for fear of burning the gingerbread, since it’s so easy to do. you grab your oven mitts and open the oven, sighing and smiling in satisfaction at the nice, even, brown tone of the gingerbread pieces as you pull them out of the heat.

koutarou is once again attached to your backside, his hands on your hips and his head in the crook of your neck. he’s whining again, but for a different reason than before.

“doll, can’t we go lay down for a lil? it’ll feel really nice…” koutarou suggests, knowing full well that the two of you wouldn’t just be laying down.

“i thought you were excited for the gingerbread, kou?” you giggle, goosebumps rising on your skin as you feel him start to press wet kisses to the back of your neck.

“i am, but there’s something else i’m more excited for right now…” koutarou accentuates his confession by using his index fingers to stroke the skin over your pubic bone and his thumbs to rub circles into your hips. you can feel something pressing against your back.

you move around the kitchen with koutarou in tow, quickly setting the gingerbread pieces onto cooling racks and placing the frosting and mini candies back into the fridge for safe keeping. once you finish, you turn around in his hold and trace your fingers down the slant of his jaw, a flirtatious smile playing on your lips.

“well, ya know…we do have to let the gingerbread cool for a while before we can decorate it.” you pause to spread your hands against his chest. “how ‘bout we go lay down, then?”

koutarou grins and wastes no time in picking you up and slinging you over his shoulder, his arm tight around the curve of your ass to keep you in place, practically skipping to the bedroom.

-"Whatchu listening to?" He asks.

-He's not really looking for answer, he just wants your attention.

-If you close your eyes while listening, he'll go in for a kiss just to see your surprised face.

-If you wear earbuds he'll ask if you can share.

-If you're ok with it, he gives comments about the music you listen to.

Nene Yashiro

-Honestly, she doesn't really judge you since she's just so happy she actully got a relationship, so when she sees you listening to music and bopping your head, she doesn't mind.

-She might every once in a while ask what song it is.

-If she knows the song she'll either talk about it or fawn over the band members/singer.

-You introduced her to a lot of diffrent types of music along with new bands and singers.

-Every once in a while she gets a sticky notes and writes songs she likes so you can listen to them. (Along with a few doodles in the corner.)

Kou Minamoto

-He's concerned.

-He thinks you're going to hit your head or something else since your not really paying attention to your surroundings.

-He usually has a hand wrapped around your waist just to make sure your safe.

-If you offer to listen to music with him, he'll accept. Perhaps you could dance together.

-I don't think he'd be a very good dancer so you might have to teach him if you know.

-If neither of you know, well you can just look like two idiots having fun.

-When you two dance im the school (if ever) Hanako is going to intervene. He'll probably trip Kou so he'll fall on you making him look like a pervert. And nobody else can see Hanako so they Kou is in the wrong.

-Hanako truly doesn't mean any harm by it, he's just trying to poke some fun.

-As long as you tell Kou he doesn't need to worry about you and you can handle your surroundings, he's a lot more comfortable.

Teru Minamoto

-Same thing with his brother, he worries you're going to get hurt and tries to avoid anything happening to you.

-He always had a ton of fangirls and the fact he choose means you matter to him more than you could imagine. (Same thing with his fans if you know what I mean.)

-He might even go as far as taking you things away if you don't listen to him.

-Don't worry, just give him puppy dog eyes and he'll give in faster than the speed of sound.

-Or cry, if you can cry on command good lord. He HATES to see a person he cares for in pain, so he'll do almost anything to make it stop.

-If you walk around while listening to music, he's right behind you with his hands on your shoulders to make sure you're safe. This does not change if your eyes are open.

-And if you do happen to have someone bump into you, are they going to have an earful from your boyfriend.

-So, just be careful around him and when you listen to music.

Sakura Nanamie

-It doesn't bother her in the slightest.

-She enjoys the stillness of sound, she's usually caught up with Tsukasa being loud, so just being in the same room as you, but not talking makes her enjoy these times together.

-She knows your not paying attention so she sometimes go up behind you and give a little kiss on your cheek. (Or on the lips depending on how far the relationship has gone.)

-When she wants your attention for either a question or because she simply wants affection, she'll lightly tap your shoulder or rub the back of your hand.

-She ALWAYS asks if you can give her attention beforehand, since she is very much aware of what it's like for someone to be forced into it.

-This also makes it very rare for her to ask for anything, but I'm getting off track.

-It's not a huge part of her life but she still thinks it kinda cute you do it

Tsukasa Yugi

-All he can think is, "Perfect opportunity".

-You're distracted AND can't hear him. He wants to prank or surprise you as much as possible. Having your attention on something else other than him (Which he is a bit offended by) Gives him the chance to shock you.

-At this point, it's not as surprising. The most shocking part is what he tries and do to gain your focus.

-He's given you things he's killed, which the offer is nice, the corpse is not.

-He'll incessantly bother you asking if he can listen to music with you.

-If you refuse, he'll do one of three things.

- 1. Continue to cry and complain

- 2. Take whatever you're listening to music on.

- 3. Get Sakura involved. Which ends up with your device getting confiscated.

-As fun as it is to mess with you, he gets super annoyed if you ignore him completely. And that leads to one of the items above.

-Just as long as you devote your time to mostly him, he's fine with whatever else you do.

I feel like Teru is this angry because he made it personal. There are two reasons for this.

The first is as you mentioned Anon: He trusts Akane, we can see him turn his back on him, letting Akane cover him many times, all of which Akane never disappoints.

I guarantee Teru wouldn't go "This will be the first and last time I'll ally with a supernatural" if Akane wasn't a part of the clockkeeper.

Teru is confident Akane would pick him over the clock keepers, that if the other keepers got aggressive for any reason, Akane would have his back.

But instead Akane hit him in the back.

This is the second time he assumed he was a loved one's priority, and was proven wrong.

Akane is not the first blow he got, Kou's opposition, this betrayal to the idea "family will always be on my side" happened recently, so he takes it very personally, he is not acting rationally at all, he doesn't even let Akane explain.

The second reason I believe he is so fucking angry, is cause Akane switched sides so fast. Kou had shown a lot of signs he is overly attached to supernaturals but Akane always, consistently complains about them. It comes out of nowhere for teru, like he switches from "yeah yeah, lets be allies" to "Sorry situation changed" in a span of a few pages (so a few minutes? at most)

Being literally hit in the back doesn't help either. Teru is a fighter, I am sure that survival instincts activate when someone hit you in the back without you noticing. Which is not a good instinct to act on when you're feeling betrayed.

As for Teru holding this against Akane... I don't think so.

I do think Teru will be salty but it won't destroy their trust or anything.

Akane accepted his role in this chapter, he is not acting as Akane but as the keeper of the present, he has said that many times throughout this chapter. Even how he refers to Teru changes.

But Teru ironically cannot see it, he can only see his friend, his student council colleague, and human: Aoi.

When he does talk to Teru about his personal feelings, he is sorry, is nothing against Teru as a person. But Teru won't hear it.

He is just doing his duty, which I believe is to judge.

Cause Mirai cannot pass proper judgment without Akane.

It is also heavily implied that Kako does not need to be present for judgment to be passed on others, since Akane decided the court have started.

EDIT: KAKO IS THERE!!! I only noticed on re read.

That makes a lot more sense. You need the three clock keepers to start the judgment. Akane can't be absent, just as Kako can't be absent

Akane claims the clock keepers are the most dangerous ones to the school at the moment, but since he included himself as part of the danger, I don't think he means the clock keepers want to destroy the school or anything of sorts, he would never side with them if that was the case.

My theory is that he is being forced to judge everyone that may have broken the clock, and passing judgment to others can yield very dangerous results.

Perhaps they lose their lives.

Considering how warped he sees Mirai and Kako, I am confident he doesn't trust them to make a fair judgment.

I believe Akane will protect Teru in court, I truly do, but he needs to be a non-biased arbiter, so he will fight tooth and nails not to doom him, but I can't see him coddling Teru either.

Once Teru stops taking things so personally and realizes he is being forced into his role, he is not betraying Teru because of personal feelings or preferences, he should be able to understand and calm down.

Why Akane feels forced to obey them is a different story.

It could be something related to their contract that we aren't aware of, or even related to Aoi, because it is strange we don't get any panel of her reacting to the flower petal monsters Sakura made as a distraction, and we could not find her in the auditorium with the rest of Nene's class when time stopped. We don't know where she is, we don't even have hints of her whereabouts. which is suspicious.

But it is honestly, hard to say.

I personally would like if they didn't get the clock keepers yorishiro, failure is good for the MCs sometimes, but since I am pretty sure the yorishiro will be destroyed by the end of the arc anyways, I at least hope it is not by Hanako or Tsukasa's hand, who don't even know what/where the yorishiro is.

Maybe the judgment will go wrong and Akane will take off the Yorishiro seal himself (Cause the mysteries are capable of destroying their own yorishiro, that was an important thing to learn with Sumire)

Cause unless the yorishiro becomes Aoi when he tries to destroy it (which I have my doubts, I don't think a living person (even one that was 'dead' for a while before coming back to life) can be a yorishiro.) I can't see Akane not putting an end to the court if it goes too far.

But... As dark as it is I would be, I am down for exploring how Akane, mister "murder is unforgivable" would react to losing control of a situation and accidentally being an accomplice/having a hand at killing someone.

Going grocery shopping? Take him with you!

Ah yes...Grocery shopping

So, which one of you actually shops and who wanders off to do their own thing?

With Kuroo, Bokuto, and Hinata

KUROO TETSUROU

A little bit of both, will offer to help you with half the groceries but will also go off on his own. But he's also not fully committed to wandering off, so you'll be comparing two different brands of dish soap and out of nowhere this (probably) 7ft man comes and drapes his figure over yours. This probably happens more than once so now you're on a constant lookout for any suspicious bed heads that happen to work for the JVA.

He also never actually got everything on his end, deliberately. It's just so it feels like you are on a 'couple's monthly grocery trip' despite the fact that it's more 'Wife's monthly grocery trip' than a 'couple's one.

"I love grocery shopping together~ makes us feel like REAL couple" Your husband would say, pushing the shopping cart with ease.

"Together is a strong word" You retort, still hung up on the way he didn't even get half the things on his list.

"I still helped with some of the grocery shopping though"

"Testu you bought five different cheeses and didn't even get the milk"

"Cheese is very important for preventing osteoporosis, [Y/N]"

"I'M gonna break YOUR bones Testu"

BOKUTO KOUTAROU

He definitely wanders off 5 minutes in. But much like Kuroo, he also doesn't fully commit to wandering off. Also comes back every once in a while, but Kou instead asks you if he could add things that are not in your grocery list. A snack he wants to try? Better ask his wife for permission to even put it in the cart. Hair gel from a different brand because it claims to last longer than the one he usually buys? Gotta ask the woman of the house. The fabric softener you forgot to put on the list? He'll ask if you forgot and gets all giddy when you thank him for remembering.

Bo just likes going out with you to do anything, so he'll try extra hard to make sure he does most of the heavy work. Even if he does end up going elsewhere, he makes sure to make up for it by bringing a little something for you too.

"Baby, what do you think about this? Bokuto would ask you, reffering to the imported snack he's holding.

"Hm? I've never tried it before...you can put it in the cart if you want" You tell him, going back to whatever you were doing.

"What about this?"

"New brand of hair gel? Bo, you don't have to ask me about that" You give a small smile.

"...Then what about this?

"Alright you know what?," You got real close to him, holding his face in both your hands, "You don't have to ask me about everything you want to put in the cart Baby, ok?"

And you give him a short kiss before going on your way to the next isle.

"...OKAY!"

HINATA SHOYO

He's a faithful man, so he definitely stays with you to do the shopping. He insists on doing the heavy lifting so all you have to do is put everything in the cart, he looks so bright and eager to do it for you that you can't find it in your heart to take the cart back. Not only does he help you, he tries to help anyone around. But he always asks if you're ok with him leaving you alone for a bit, to which you always tell him it's fine for him to go and help that elderly woman struggling to get the oatmeal on the highest shelf. He's definitely very popular with the people at the shopping district.

Which is why you should always bring him during any big sale, having Shoyo with you is already a big advantage by itself. His sheer charisma and good nature landed him high on the favorites list amongst the aunties, they absolutely adore him. Meaning he has the help of the veteran ladies at the shopping district to cross off everything on his list. You both saved a lot off money that day....not that you needed to but it's a nice thought.

'Sho, don't forget to get all the ingredients for tomorrow's dinner party!' Your voice would echo in his mind.

"I'm sorry [Y/N], but all the good ingredients were taken..!" Hinata would lament as he stands in front of an empty shelf, that is until he hears his name being called.

"Shoyo, is that you?"

"Huh? Oh! Ms. Nakamura, how are you?"

"Oh I'm doing just fine, you on the other hand..."

"Yeah...You see..." He trails off

After explaining his dilemma, the older woman smiles.

"Well, since you do so much for us ladies here at the district, I reckon it's time we do something for you" Then Ms. Nakamura makes a call to her fellow ladies, giving them the rundown of the situation.

Before he knows it, Shoyo's shopping list has everything crossed off. He thanks the ladies for their immense help and rushes back to you.

"Hm? Shoyo you're ba— what happened?" You turn to see Sho with tears in his eyes, looking like he's ready to cry.

"Oh hi there!" Shinobu greeted you, "I'm glad you arrived were a little short-handed as of now. Do you mind tending to Tokito for a moment while I check on some others?" She asked with her usual smile.

"Of course not Miss Kocho," You responded, bowing your head.

"I'll be back in a bit," She said as she hurried out of the room.

You walked over to the bed Muichiro was in and noticed Shinobu had just dropped him off some food.

"Feeling any better today?" You asked him, trying to keep the worried tone out of your voice.

"Yes, much better thank you," He responded while grabbing his chopsticks to eat. Muichiro attempted to grab some rice but his injuries weren't completely healed which caused his hands to shake. Muichiro tried multiple times but each time the shakiness of his hand caused the rice to fall out from his chopsticks before he could get it into his mouth.

"Do you want some help, Tokito?" You offered smiling sweetly at him.

"Umm... yes I do believe that would be helpful," he stated feeling slightly embarrassed.

You sat on the edge of the bed crossed leg facing Muichiro as you gently grabbed the chopsticks from his hand. You couldn't help but notice the dispirited look on his face.

"Hey, don't even think twice about it ok. You work so hard as a Hashira to keep everyone safe, banging yourself up in the process all the time. It's the least I can do to show my appreciation while you're healing," You said grabbing some rice between the chopsticks and bringing it up to his mouth.

"Thank you," He took a bite and chewed slowly. "That does put my mind at ease a bit," he swallowed.

You grabbed some rice for him, "Just a bit? Hmm... guess my pep talk wasn't so good," You laughed feeding him another bite.

"Well... while what you said was true it is still embarrassing being so hopeless I can't even feed myself," he responded, finishing another bite you fed him.

"I understand, but it's not forever and you overworked your hands so much in that last fight. Plus... It's kind of an honor to feed you," You said blushing slightly as you grabbed more food for him.

"Oh?" He exclaimed, eyes lighting up just a bit.

"Yeah, I admire you a lot, you know. You've helped me so many times, so... feeling like I can repay you at all is an amazing feeling. Also, you look so cute when you eat," You laughed nervously.

Muichiro's cheeks reddened a bit, "Well I suppose it isn't such a nuisance being fed by someone as beautiful as you," he responded.

Your face turned completely red at Muichiro's compliment. Your own hands began to shake now as you fed him more food.

"Hello, what are you two talking about?" Shinobu asked, appearing out of nowhere causing you and Muichiro to jump.

"Nothing!" You both said hastily as the rice fell from between the chopsticks once more.

Haven't they broken several rules they've established just for everything to revolve around Tsukasa? Like...

1. A mystery can't be defeated in their own boundary (and yet Tsukasa somehow ripped Kako's heart out in his own boundary)

2. You can't use your tsueshiro in a boundary without permission (and yet Tsukasa ordered his to hold down Mirai)

3. Nobody could move because the school's time was frozen (yet Tsukasa did, as well as Yashiro, and Hanako who if I remember correctly suddenly unfroze on his own to break down into tears)

The earlier chapters were way better at following previously established rules and concepts compared to whatever's going on right now

I can understand the idea that Tsukasa is a rule breaker, he did destroy the previous n°3 in his own boundary too and it was an interesting twist! I can understand the idea and why it can be interesting, but the way AidaIro using all others characters/plots to make him stand out is just terrible. Dirsregarding rules is not a new thing about AidaIro unfortunately but Tsukasa really wins all medals on breaking them.

As you said, he was able to move when time was stopped and for which reason?? We don't know. Hanako was able to move once Akane and Teru got to him, probably because Akane is a clock keeper and can somehow give the permission to people to move.

I said it before and I will say it again, but wanting to show a character is powerful/cool by making the others characters look stupid is terrible writing, and that's the feeling I got with Tsukasa in general. (and chapter 109 is just a whole sequence of the characters being made fun of)

We don't know where to stand because he has every kind of tropes attached to him. They want us to understand he is some kind of martyr who is 'omg poor lil Tsukasa who was so selfless at only 4yo boohoo' (no matter which translation I read for the red house arc, he is believable somehow with Kou but then we get the flashbacks with Amane and it's gone). They put him in an 'angel' position and naive position in a lot of aus, want us so bad to understand deep down he is a nice boy. When we watched him do every possible horrors on screen. And don't get me wrong, I don't mind this, it's cool. Him forcing Mitsuba to eat, creating him, the way he treats some characters... It's the way they are not doing that to other characters who is so strange in my opinon. They know how to handle grey characters like Hanako or Teru (from the reader's pov) so I don't why they try so hard to put Tsukasa in a good light.

He is not a believable kid character in the red house arc, being smarter than Kou and Nene is not making him cool, it's just making Kou and Nene absolute idiots.

Him destroying his shackles thanks to Mirai power? It's not him being clever, it's Mirai and the clock keepers being made fun of. Him knowing what Hanako should be doing by using Nene? Not making Tsukasa cool, it's making Nene just as an object for Hanako's love, and to get a reaction out of him, most of the time by making Hanako look stupid. (I could go hours on why Nene is just here to serve as a mean to Hanako's character since some arc rather than being her own person but that's for another day)...

I understand that Tsukasa is like 'the antagonist and should be some steps ahead of the portagonist' but it's just so repitive in the way he is unpredicatble that it became boring and predictable. I was overjoyed to see him like this in chapter 108. (which was let's be honest the only good chapter in this new arc)

Tsukasa is really good here, which is why the drop of quality in chap 109 is even worst. Seeing a new side of him as a supernatural and his sorrow/hatred for Amane is really great. He even moralizes Nene about why sometimes you just need/have to get yourself out of situations alone, and that's how he himself proceeds because his brother never went to see him in 50 years. That he had no choice but to do so. It's great! Really great! To see that he is also an unpredicatble character and who decides to do what he wants not taking people's opinions in mind, because even his older never helped him when he called for him during all this time. It adds a good layer to his character and seeing him weaker/not really knowing what to do is something we desesperatly need for his chacter. But as everything in chap 108, chap 109 throws it out of the window and goes back to the usual ' we have set ups but terrible pay offs' things that has been happening a lot in the recent arcs.

He is also way too OP. As you said suddenly his tsueshiros could move again and he got rid of Kako. Even Hakubo and Teru being ones of the most powerful characters, were defeated once, Tsukasa never was seriously. It's never explained why he is so powerful (probably because he has an entity inside him/he eats others supernaturals) but the difference of levels is just insane, and absolutely not compelling to read.

We don't know why he is doing what he is doing and they try so hard to make him mysterious. They want us to get to know him without saying anything relevant or his backstory. We are left with whole chapters of absolutely nothing. Welp too bad I am not patient enough to see Tsukasa doing random stuff when half of the characters have rushed characters development or none because 'there isn't much time'.

AidaIro want us to understand they love him and that we should too but they are just destroying every other characters rather than make him loveable.

I hate what they did with his character, his role is terrible because it's destroying eveyone else's. Tsukasa is the favorite and it shows, but it's so badly done that I can't help but hate him.

if he doesnt have a blanket he'll use his jacket as a blanket

but for you its worth it
