Okay…I saw this is already available for preorder on Amazon, so I guess it makes it official now! 😍

Ariel has been my favorite girl since forever and working on a Little Golden Book has been my dream since, well, forever, which makes this a double dream come true! 🧜🏻‍♀️

“Part of Your World” will be released on April 9 and I can’t wait for you to see it and sing along with it!

It’s so wild to know that the song I’ve been constantly singing since I first saw this movie when I was a little kid has now my drawings to accompany it in an actual Little Golden Book 🥹

It's finally here! After teasing it for so long and saying how happy I was with the book cover, I finally get to share it with you 🥺 @.catarinabookdesigns did a wonderful job with it, and I couldn't be happier with it!

I'm not kidding when I say this cover has many easter eggs. I love covers that take a new shape once you've read the book, and I wanted to do something similar with this one. A Spark of Magic is a story wrapped in mystery where each answer leads you to more questions, and I wanted that sort of vibe for the cover. Where does this connect to? Whose character is this related to? Oh, so this is what that means!

This is the ebook version of the cover. The paperback has a few other details on its spine and back and I'll show those to you at a later date once I have the physical copy with me.

Happy Lunar New Year! In our house, we’re jokingly calling it the Luna New Year. I’m proud and excited to announce that my partner, Alexis, is about to publish her debut novel! LOVE IN THE OCCULT TRAUMATIC is a paranormal romance set for digital release on March 1st. I provided the cover art for the characters, and Alexis and I worked on the cover design together. Here’s what the story is about:

Heidi Bauer would give anything to not be able to read people’s memories. Yet every time she sees blood, she loses consciousness and gets a glimpse into the private inner worlds of the wound’s owner, tracing through the events that caused the injury—with frightening precision.

She can’t tell anyone this, of course. It’s bad enough that she has severe PTSD and hemophobia, but unexplained magical powers as well? She’d rather spiral into jobless poverty than admit the truth and risk getting locked up in some kind of mental institution.

“Most people don’t have a great whirlwind romance that’s an end all, be all. Or maybe they did, in the beginning, but for one reason or another it didn’t work out. But that doesn’t … that doesn’t make those relationships less important. A person’s first may not be their last, but that doesn’t take away from the impact of that first love.”

“Like a stepping stone,” Elochian says quietly, watching me.

“Right, yeah. That’s the bit I was working on last night. I don’t have all the pieces, just a vague idea. A character, kind of. I don’t know, I think we need more stories that focus on the big picture. The stepping stones, and the person they bring you to.”

Elochian smiles, then looks away. The movement hollows me out, and I have no idea why. When he looks back, there’s that safety guard. He’s still paying attention to me, but there’s … I don’t know, distance. He says, “I like it. I think you’re onto something.”

And then he changes everything. His fingers twitch, and his black painted nails trace against the back of my own fingers.

COVER REVEAL and a BIG post with lots of slides because I'm really proud of this project! "The Strombird in the Shadows" is Naomi Greensmith's debut novel coming out in November (date TBA)! Designing a book cover has been a long-held dream of mine, so when Naomi approached me to create the cover for her debut novel, I was ecstatic! It was a genuine honor to bring to life her badass main character, Skye, alongside the mystical Stormbird, and to utilize all of my skills in designing the title as well. Here's the blurb:

Anyway! I’m on my third week of writing my first dark romance novel that isn’t fanfiction, and I thought I’d share some super secret insider stuff with you.
