Soooooo... the new video! Definitely wasn't what I was expecting and I love it! I've missed hearing that little theme song!

I've got to hand it to the team, even though it was an ad it was really cool to see the ad presented as a mini Sanders Sides video, especially considering how much we've all been missing it.

So here's a bunch of other things I thought was pretty awesome.

The premise! It's funny, I've had conversations with some other friends of mine about this exact same thing. We've obviously come to the conclusion that we are never throwing away our beloved plushies. I actually just got another one recently :)

I'm loving the new camera angles. It's so interesting and fun, and it's great seeing Thomas exploring some new ideas! Seeing the sides in different environments opens up all sorts of opportunities.

Patton kicking in the door. Patton, you are amazing and I love you. Underrated side imo. I just wanna say he's imperfect and I love him. Thomas's startled "yes sir" was hilarious.

"Mr. Feelings is my father, call me Patton" "Watch it and get wrecked" "powerpoint scares me" I just love Patton okay

Patton bringing in the science and impressing Logan?? Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.

I screamed so loudly when Virgil came in. I've missed that emo so much. His part was so wonderfully spooky and perfect.

Virgil canonically loves dogs. Stuffed spider is canon too.

Excuse me a moment while I scream because MY PRINCE HAS ARRIVED!! I missed Roman so much, omg

Plushie Roman and Classic Roman. I love that. And Roman I love your use of 4th wall breaking :)

"You're too kind, classic Roman!" ...Okay, was it just me or did I hear Remus there?

The quiz no's bit. It just speaks for itself, I don't need to say anything.

"Well f**k." Roman my darling you are a mood. (Thomas did say it was a good effort! :D)

...Is that Pokemon music? I dunno where it's from but I definitely recognize it.

"A trusted aide who will never leave your side, who will always agree with you, who will never sass back or betray you in any way!" Oh Roman... he's clearly still thinking about Janus and everything that led up to POF. He's still very much hurting. I hope that part of the finale will handle some of that. Roman really needs to work through it.

"Loneliness?! Who said anything about loneliness?!?" I wonder if both Logan and Roman are feeling lonely. Logan because he's not being listened to and constantly having his voice shoved to the side. Roman because he feels like the other sides don't value his input and constantly change the rules on him, when all he wants is to make Thomas happy. Come to think of it, Logan and Roman are both feeling sidelined (ha) for somewhat similar reasons - they're not being listened to.

Yeah Logan, I'm surprised they all managed to work together too.

Heck yes Logan. Contribute to these facts. I fricking love Logan. So much.

"Hey Logan could I get you to say 'I'm agreeing with you again?'" Awww yeah Ro, you did it, you impressed Logan :)

When Roman's nickname falls flat Virgil is just like "don't worry bud, you'll get 'em next time" and I think my entire existence just melted on the spot. Called Roman bud. Was encouraging. These two have come so far and I love them both so much and did I mention I melted on the spot.

"Sometimes passion makes you act a little silly" Hmmm yeah that's something to think about, Logan :)

Logan's disbelieving face at the end there lol. I love you Logan. So much.

And now, and entirely separate section dedicated to the Sides' ROOMS!!!! :D

Patton: I saw lots of cats and lots of stuffed animals, and his color scheme, and seeing Virgil's card from Season 1 up there was just adorable. Also some photos and a second cookie. Nothing unexpected, but seeing Patton without his glasses was a bit odd, lol.

Roman: Roman's color scheme throughout as well. I also saw some scented candles, a book that I couldn't tell what it was, and some Roman figurines, and of course Roman's sword at the ready next to him. The mask was an amazing touch. I loved the poster from Up that says "adventure is out there!" The corkboard has some interesting tidbits, such as photos from past Sides' photoshoots and a picture of Leslie Odom Jr. I absolutely LOVE that there are sparkly floaty clouds and stuff flying around, so one of my headcanons is now CANON!! What I specifically want to point out is what was on the three sticky notes. "You got this, pal!" - It's so wholesome but a bit sad. He so clearly needs encouragement. "WWLOJD" - This took me a bit to figure out. At first I thought it was a hint towards the title of an upcoming video, but then I realized it says "What would Leslie Odom Jr Do?" and I think that is awesome. I think Roman has a hero :) Oh, and of course we can't forget the Remus cameo. I saw that, stinker. Roman's gonna come after you for that one. I hope we get some sibling shenanigans soon :) Also, Roman is wearing his Beast onesie. He's. Just. So. Adorable.

Virgil: Green Day American Idiot shirt. Epicness. "# of Days Since Last Total Disaster: 5" Virgil I freaking love you. Some nice purple color scheme, what looks like a lyric video in the back there. Not sure what book that adorable stuffed spider is on. Also saw a white noise machine. Really nice touches in there :)

Logan: Okay, seeing Logan without his glasses felt kinda weird lol. I'm so used to the glasses. But the fact that he has all of the plushies there... that is just the sweetest. I also saw an empty Crofter's jar, a Rubik's cube, his notebook, and extra flashcards. I also saw that he kept Roman's Sherlock fanfiction that he wrote for Logan. I melted.

Anyway, that's everything I saw! If you made it this far, thanks so much. I really appreciate it if you stuck with my ramblings this long. I don't often write episode reviews of analyses, but the ones I do wrote I can get pretty long-winded lol. I just love the Sides so much. See you guys when the next episode comes :)

1) mike newton is my fave character he is my poor little meow meow disaster trashcan and i love him with all my heart. angela is right up there with him too but she doesn’t give me brainworms like sir fig newton does ♡

2) mike is just so fucking hilarious i can’t help but love him skdbdjdj - ive spent so much time thinking about him over the years i know more about him than anyone else on this planet and one day i’ll actually post more of my fic and you will all get a chance to know the True Mike™ like i do. smeyer’s treatment of the human characters is boring and annoying and there’s so much more depth there than what she gave us. yes he’s a dumbass but he’s my dumbass and i love him so much skdhdjdjd

as for angela, she’s such an underrated character and like mike i’ve spent soooooo many years thinking so hard about her & have completely fleshed her out in ways that would send smeyer into the biggest tantrum ever akshdjdjd. angela is such a gentle soul and i love her so much, she was my favorite when i first read the books a bazillion years ago and she always will be. also yes i am extremely gay and christian serratos mf delivered. bless up. once again most of my hc for her etc will be revealed in the fic i’ve been working on for years and i’m too tired to type it all out here, but she’s extremely precious to me ♡

3) obviously the golden onion is made of layers upon layers pure gold and starlight and is the most precious/expensive/lavish thing in all of forks and is also sentient with mind control powers and is the one personally blocking all of bellas thoughts just to fuck with edward as much as possible.

sjdbdjdbdbd no but i love to think of mr molina desperately trying to figure out how to get his students to engage with his class more and waking up from a dream in the middle of the night in a cold sweat, Plagued By Visions, and just like manically spray painting an onion gold at 3am like “yes this is it. this is the answer to all my problems” before passing out again in all the fumes

I need to catch up on X-Men stuff. I love Tempo from as far back as X-Force #1 in the 90's

I'm probably gonna do a 'here's what you missed on Glee' post about the current state of X-Men stuff for people wanting to catch up or jump on at the House of X/Krakoa soft reboot point, but while there's plenty of good and bad about the current era, I do love the sheer creativity of it all, and like, the raised profiles of soooooo many minor or underrated X-characters from eras past.

What with the whole, y'know, mass resurrection of every mutant character to ever live, literally.

Like, communal living is a big thing on Krakoa and basically any and all 'squads' of mutants, both hero and villain alike, have their own group housing in the Akademos Habitat. The New Mutants all live together in this house called the Sextant, the Academy X kids all have their own place, the classic Hellions have their own place, same with the Gen-X kids, the Acolytes, etc. And the whole MLF live together in Omega House, and so we've seen Heather pretty regularly in the background around there like in stories featuring Wildside and other MLFers (even Thumbelina got a shout-out in SWORD, lmao) and also she's popped up in a few previous SWORD and Marauders issues, as well as being the source of Krakoa's famed whiskey exports, as apparently her time powers aging whiskey and wines to perfection in just a few hours is the secret ingredient behind the 'Port Genosha' vintages, lmao.

But anyway, Heather's part of the new Marauders cast going forward, and they're the book dedicated to mutant rescue and relief efforts.

The new lineup is Kitty (Kate) Pryde as captain and a member of the Quiet Council (Krakoa's ruling council of twelve), and previously the Red Queen of Hellfire, which is like, the economic cornerstone of the Krakoan nation. Up until recently, Kate, Emma and Sebastian all had seats on the Quiet Council and occupied the Red, White and Black thrones of Hellfire, but they gave up their Hellfire seats to focus just on their Council positions, so while Hellfire is expected to play a role in the new Marauders book too, since technically the Marauders are like the official agents of Hellfire's agendas, now the Black Queen is Lourdes Chantel (Sebastian Shaw's old teleporting girlfriend who famously died in the first attack of Sentinels back in the 80s but is now back), the five Stepford Cuckoos all share the White Queen's responsibilities and throne, and Emma's older brother Christian Frost is the new Red Monarch.

Co-leader of the Marauders with Kate is Bishop, who is 'Captain Commander' of Krakoa's forces during war-time, like basically Krakoa has four 'War Captains' who assume leadership positions whenever Krakoa's attacked or invaded, with the Captain Commander being like, the Captain of Captains. The other three Captains with him were at first Cyclops (who was initially the Captain Commander but gave his spot to Bishop recently to focus more on his responsibilities with the X-men), and Magik and Gorgon (the former head of Hydra - yes, mouthing wtf here is valid - but then he died in Otherworld during the X of Swords story event, and he came back different when they resurrected him because dying in Otherworld fucks with your soul and personality).

So Kwannon was named the fourth Captain in his stead. (Kwannon of course being the original Revanche, who got body-swapped with Betsy decades ago. They swapped back so now Betsy is in her original body and going by Captain Britain, and Kwannon is back in her body and using the Psylocke moniker).

Anyway, Kwannon is ALSO on the new Marauders with Bishop, which is kinda interesting that they put two War Captains on the same crew, but I mean, I love them both so not like I care.

And then rounding out the rest of the new crew now that Iceman, Pyro and Storm have all left, is Tempo, Akihiro (Logan's son), Aurora and new character Somnus, with dream manipulation powers.

Look at them, they look so good after kicking Brimstone Love's ass, I'm so proud of them. Sniff.

There's also supposed to be another member joining the team like two issues in, with it not stated yet for sure who it is, but all signs point to the final member of the cast being recently resurrected John Proudstar, the original Thunderbird.

There were soooooo many 5 star reads this year! I'll pick a few of my favs:

The Bromance Book Club was cute and funny. Radio Silence is my new all-time favorite. The Nightingale and Clap When You Land were just beautiful stories that made me cry.

4. Best sequel you’ve read so far in 2020

I read the Diviners series this year and I loved it and Before the Devil Breaks you was my favorite from the series. I posted a book series review for this here.

5. New release you haven’t read yet, but want to

The first three books are by authors I've enjoyed previously and I'm excited to read their new releases and The Falling in Love Montage just sounds adorable!

6. Most anticipated release for the second half of the year

Almost all my favorite authors are putting out books this year and I'm looking forward to all of them 😍

Biggest disappointments for me are some of the books that I expected to be 5 stars but ended up being 3 star reads.

1) Who is your bias and why?

Yoongi, and a lot of the times I find myself bias-ing(idk of that's a word oof) Jungkook as well. But Yoongi is my ult by fAr. So, he's been my bias since his release of Agust D, which is so good. At the time, I was stuck with who my bias was and when I listened to Agust D(the mixtape) as a whole and saw the lyrics I just felt like I could relate...I guess, idk. I don't wanna sound like some special or entitled person by saying there was a connection, but it did feel like a connection of me to the music. He's been through so much, and I dont wanna compare myself to him because uhm no, but I grew to a new level of respect. Theres also a sense of, he's human and he's real and hes obviously not perfect, and that list attracted myself to him even more. And Yoongi is just everything for me because of his sweet, but honest side. Qnd I'm soooooo protective over him because people always are missed into thinking hes one of the laziest members, or he doesnt care for bts which is a lie. a blatant lie because he does care so much, you can obviously see he does. Just some people are too lazt to really look into what a great person min yoongi is. but honestly, words cant wxpress how I feel for him because I would just come out with a book about my love, affection, and respect I have for him ♡ (that turned into a rant ajfkaj)

2) bias wrecker and how did he become your bias wrecker?

uhm it was jungkook...but now I kinda just have two biases in bts (yoongles and jk) because it was tiring to serve so I just did a 2-for-1 deal. but my bias wrecker would have to be hoseok. there was a time period where my bias was hobi for a while, and I just grew to love and care for his person so much. hes so very talented and I lub him too :,)

3) favourite underrated bts song?

Zuko. God I love him so much. And I feel like every time I do a re-watch the show I notice or learn something new about him. Such a wonderfully developed and written character.

2: water, earth, fire or air?

Eh....water probably. I feel the rise with the moon part of it.

3: favorite uncle iroh quote

4: what do you think of azula?

I love her. She's my third favorite ATLA character overall. Such an amazing villain. She has just the right amount of edge to make her really intimidating but it's also easy to have sympathy for her.

Azula hands down. I don't care about any of the villains in LoK lol

Probably Aang. I'm attached to the ATLA characters above everything. They're my children. I do like Korra too though. She was one of the few good things about LoK.

Iroh singing "Leaves from the Vine" while mourning Lu Ten :( But also Katara confronting her mother's murderer.

Ahhhh......honestly, I think it might be The Day of the Black Sun. There were so many good moments in those episodes.

They all have their own strengths and weaknesses

29: do you like the comics?

I've never read them and I never will. Legend of Korra was enough badness for me. But the stuff I've heard....yikes.

30: least favorite episode

The Headband. The overall story was basically the plot of Footloose. And Zuko was at his most ooc in that episode.

31: outfits you loved the most!

All of Azula's outfits tbh. Love that raging lesbian

32: your opinion on kataras development after The last Airbender to Legend of Korra (based on comics and Lok)

I hate it. And I will forever be angry at Bryke for it. It's one of the things I hated the most about LoK. Katara deserved better than being reduced to Aang's grieving widow. And how dare they not give her a statue.

33: how often have you watched it?

I think I've re-watched the entire show about four times. But I watch my favorite episodes separately all the time.

34: how does this show affect your life?

It's brought me a lot of joy over the years. It's my #1 favorite show for a reason.

You Never Really Loved Me - Reddie

One year anniversaries are always supposed to be filled with love and celebration. Not heartache and the loss of someone you never saw something like this coming from…

hey guys so originally i was going to make this a stenbrough oneshot (bc i love my gay sons and they are underrated) but my friend convinced me to make this a reddie oneshot instead soooooo i hope that’s okay. i will 100% be writing some stenbrough stuff soon!

1 year.

In 5 days, Eddie and Richie’s one year anniversary would be present.

The two boys had been friends for years and on Eddie’s 17th birthday, Richie had brought him on a drive to nowhere in particular. They laughed and talked and listened to music and at the end of the night, laying in the back of Richie’s pick up truck, Richie had asked Eddie to be his boyfriend.

The two had never really discussed their feelings for one another, they just knew that something was there. Something more.

About a month or so later, they shared their first kiss. They were hidden up in Eddie’s room behind a locked door reading comic books and giggling about nothing in particular. Eddie couldn’t recall how it happened or who made the first move thanks to the fact that all he could focus on was the anxiety building up in the pit of his stomach. Before he knew it though, Richie’s hand was on the back of Eddie’s head, gripping his hair. Eddie never really understood how people didn’t think kissing was gross, but this was the furthest thing from.

They mutually agreed to keep their relationship a secret for awhile, not wanting to deal with the losers constantly bothering them about it. They’d hold hands under blankets, and exchange quick kisses when no one was looking.

7 months in, Richie told Eddie that he loved him.

Once again they were partaking in one of their favorite activities, other than making out of course. Richie sped down the empty backroad, Eddie not even protesting. He was too busy screaming the lyrics to Jessie’s Girl as the wind from the rolled down windows blew through brown hair. Richie was smiling like an idiot, letting out a laugh here and there.

And she's watching him with those eyes

And she's loving him with that body, I just know it

Yeah 'n' he's holding her in his arms late, late at night

Eddie was happy and Richie could see it as the words flew past the shorter boy’s lips.

Richie even joined Eddie, screaming the lyrics to the chorus with him.

I wish that I had Jessie's girl

Eddie stopped singing, laughing at Richie. Not to make fun of him but because he couldn’t imagine how much greater this could be. Eddie couldn’t wish for anything better than Richie.

Richie looked away from the road and right into Eddie’s already staring eyes. “I love you, ya know,” he stated as if it were the simplest thing to say.

Eddie’s eyes widened. “You- you love me?”

Richie just nodded. He didn’t need Eddie to say it back if he wasn’t ready, he just needed him to know. But Eddie did say it back. In fact, he cried it back. Tears streaming down his face as the music continued, wrapping them into their own little world.

Richie gave a big, toothy grin, pulling Eddie over to him and wrapping his arms around his shoulders as he continued to drive and sing into Eddie’s ear.

10 months. 10 months is when Richie made a mistake he vowed to never make again.

Richie was home alone, something he was luckily able to do often. He was sat on the couch in the living room watching one of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies though he didn’t pay attention to which one it was.

He wasn’t paying too much attention so when the doorbell rang, he heard it right away.

Richie groaned, getting up from the couch to get the door. He wasn’t expecting Eddie today, he was stuck at home with his mom.

Richie opened the door, rubbing his eye with his sweatshirt covered palm to see a crying Stan. His hand dropped to his side, instantly skeptical about the situation.

“Stan? What are you doing here?” Richie questioned, still completely confused as to why Stan was at his house and more so, why was Stan crying at his house?

“Can I come in?” Stanley asked, a little too quiet.

Richie furrowed his eyebrows. “Am I being pranked?”

“Bill’s busy so I came to you but if you’re just going to make jokes as always then you can fuck off.” Stan replied, attempting to sound angry but failing.

Richie shook his head, stepping aside. “No no it’s fine I just wasn’t expecting this. Come on in.”

Richie watched the weak looking boy step inside, not moving other than the slight shakiness of his figure. He closed the door and pulled Stan slowly to the couch, sitting down with him.

Richie wasn’t used to comforting his friends - or anyone for that matter. He wasn’t exactly sure what to do but he knew he had to be serious as Stanley never showed up at his house like this.

“What’s going on?” Richie asked, deciding to keep his questions simple.

Stan sniffled before letting out another sob, only able to speak the words, “My dad.”

Richie instantly knew what Stanley was talking about. Stanley had never told him directly but Richie knew that because Stanley was Jewish, his father refused to accept the fact that his son was gay. Stanley always went to Bill during situations like this, but as Stan said, Bill was busy today.

Richie wasn’t sure what to say. He didn’t want to say the wrong thing so instead, he just pulled Stanley into a hug, wrapping his arms around the crying boy’s neck and holding on tight. He could feel Stanley’s sobs against his own body and it broke Richie’s heart to see his friend this way. Richie closed his eyes, rubbing small circles in Stanley’s back until he finally began to calm down.

The room was filled with a silence, thankfully not uncomfortable. Stanley pulled away, wiping his eyes with the palms of his hands. “Sorry about that.” He murmured.

“It’s okay.” Richie replied plainly.

It was silent again but this time they just sort of stared at each other, neither of them knowing what to say or do next.

Richie cleared his throat, “Well if you wanna stay you ca-“

Richie was cut off by Stanley’s lips crammed against his. Richie didn’t kiss back, instead sitting there with wide eyes until Stanley pulled away, a blush instantly rising to his face. “Fuck I’m- Oh god I’m sorry I- I should go.” Stanley stammered over his words, standing up to leave but Richie had other plans.

He stood, grabbing Stanley’s arm and pulling him back, pressing his lips to Stanley's once again only this time, Richie knew exactly what was going on. He wasn’t even thinking about Eddie, about his boyfriend of 10 months. He was only thinking about Stanley.

Richie pulled them both backward, collapsing onto the couch once again with Stanley straddling Richie’s hips. Their lips didn’t break apart once, in fact, their kiss was now deeper. Tongues were exploring mouths, hands were all over skin and tangled between hair.

Richie’s heart pinged against his rib cage, feeling about ready to explode.

Richie never once thought about Eddie.

Richie avoided Stanley after that. He eventually realized what he did was wrong and that he could never let it happen again. He needed to tell Eddie. He needed to tell his boyfriend.

He found himself walking to the entrance of the school as soon as the final bell rung, not even waiting for Beverly to meet him outside of his last class. Richie was steps away from the glass double doors when he was pulled aside into a nearby classroom by the one and only, Stanley Uris.

Stanley looked pissed, understandably. 10 months into Richie and Eddie’s relationship and they still hadn’t told a soul.

“Why have you been avoiding me?” Stanley asked, once again trying to sound angry but Richie could hear the hurt in his voice.

Richie gulped. He couldn’t speak. Why couldn’t he tell Stanley about his relationship with Eddie? Eddie, the boy he loved.

“You’re really not going to say anything?” Stanley scoffed, shaking his head and making his way back to the door. “I wish I could say that was typical.”

Richie stopped him before his hand hit the doorknob, his hand on Stanley’s shoulder. “I’m sorry I just-“ Richie squeezed his eyes shut, gripping Stanley’s shoulder a bit tighter at the same time. “Eddie and I have been dating for about ten months now.” Richie said though it was more of a jumbled mess.

Stanley turned around, eyes wide. “You- you what?”

Richie nodded, pulling his hand away and placing it back at his side.

“I- So- Did you only kiss me because you felt sorry for me….” Stanley trailed off at the end of his sentence, the hurt evident in his voice once again, even more, this time.

“No!” Richie exclaimed, causing Stanley to jump a bit, “No I really really wanted to kiss you but-“

“But you can’t do that to Eddie. I get it.” Stanley finished Richie’s sentence for him and Richie felt a pang of guilt beat against his chest and not because he cheated on Eddie, but because he wanted to again.

And he did.

Richie Tozier cheated on his boyfriend for the second time in a science classroom.

Richie and Stan continued to see each other behind Eddie’s back. Richie told himself over and over to just tell Eddie, to just break his heart but he couldn’t. Richie was a coward.

1 year. Today was Eddie and Richie’s one year anniversary, though Richie had completely forgotten.

Eddie wanted to surprise the boy he’d fallen in love with over the course of the past 365 days. Yes, it was Eddie’s birthday, but Eddie was more than willing to treat Richie for the day instead.

Eddie didn’t have much money saved up from his new job. Most of the money he did manage to get his mother just took for bullshit he didn’t need but he had managed to keep some hidden.

He bought Richie a handmade woven bracelet, manly enough for Richie to not make feminine jokes. Eddie spent the majority of his saved earnings on adding a sort of charm with the date of their anniversary engraved into it.

It was perfect, like Richie.

Because Richie deserved the world.

Richie was home alone once again only this time, Stanley was underneath him. Richie’s lips were placed on Stanley’s neck, leaving wet open-mouthed kisses against the skin. Stanley couldn’t help but softly moan Richie’s name which made Richie feel incredible.

He never thought about Eddie.

Eddie strolled up the front path to Richie’s house. Nothing could break his spirits today. He felt butterflies rise in his stomach as he knocked on the door, taking a step and a half back and waiting, a smile on prominent on his small face.

But the smile fell when his gaze made its way to the window, an all too clear view of Richie and Stan on the couch.

Eddie felt his heart not only crack but shatter. Shatter into a million pieces. It felt as though the pieces were piercing into the insides of his chest, bleeding him out and he didn’t even care.

He watched Richie move to get the door. He watched Richie stop in his tracks when he saw the broken boy outside. He watched Richie’s face fall and he took a few more steps back before running down the pathway.

Richie ran after him, his long legs making it easy to catch up with the smaller boy and grabbed his arm, yanking him backward.

Eddie wasn’t speaking, he was sobbing.

“Eds I’m so fuckin’ sor-“

“SAVE IT,” Eddie interrupted, ripping his arm out of Richie’s grasp and moving away from him, “Fucking save it.”

“Ed’s please I-“

“Don’t FUCKING CALL ME THAT!” Eddie screamed, throwing the box that was in his hand at Richie as hard as he could.

Richie didn’t even realize what it was that Eddie threw, he just tried to talk. “Eddie please let me explain I-“ Richie took a step forward, Eddie moving back once more, “I love you. Please.”

Eddie laughed. He laughed through the tears pouring down his now burning skin. “You love me?” Love was emphasized way too much for Richie’s liking though he knew he deserved this. “You don’t fucking love me! You don’t even get to say that now!”

Richie stayed silent, forcing the lump in his throat to stay down.

Eddie continued. “You were fucking everything to me and you cheated. You fucking cheated! You gave yourself to someone else after telling me you fucking loved me!” Eddie was full on hyperventilating now, but Richie knew not to touch him, “I fell in love with you! I gave you every fucking piece of me and now, worst of all I fucking trusted you.” Eddie was forcing breaths out of his lungs, his body violently shaking.

Richie stood there, completely shocked. He never thought this would happen though in the back of his mind the possibility was always there. “Eddie when I said I loved you I meant-“

“No.” Eddie wouldn’t let Richie speak though all he wanted to hear Richie do was cry. Cry and beg for his forgiveness. For how sorry he was but Eddie knew that Richie wasn’t sorry because if he was, he would’ve been honest with him from the start. “Fuck you, Richie. Have fun with your fuck buddy I hope he makes you the happiest fucking asshole on the planet.”

With that, Eddie spun around and walked off and Richie didn’t even chase him. He looked down, eyeing the box laying on the wet sidewalk and picked it up, rubbing his thumb over the texture of the cardboard. He felt his eyes prickle with tears as he opened it, the charm on the bracelet glimmering in the afternoon sun.

1 year.

These are the dramas I completed in 2017 (Yes, 12 dramas is just a small number, there are some others I dropped or on-hold… oh yes, I’m Not a Robot and Judge vs Judge are still airing so I have not ‘completed’ them…).

Ruler: Master of the Mask - I can say my 2017 was started with this drama - I created this blog in January because of this. Then, the following few months I just waited for the drama and when the drama really started, I spent much time on it to discuss it, make gif, read the comments from audience etc. I watched each episode at least twice, the first time is the live, the second time is with subtitle, then watched the clips so many times for gif and comment on it. Although this drama sometimes disappointed me, I still miss the time when I was angry of the stupid plot or the character’s decisions. I really want to thank all the friends and people who like this drama and discuss with me on tumblr. Thank you so much! I hope you are still here and watching Yoo Seung Ho’s new drama, I’m not a Robot.

The King in Love - I started watching this drama just because it is a Sageuk and Hong Jong Hyun and Im Si Wan were there. I am not a fan of them but at that time, I wanted to watch Sageuk and this drama appeared. I know the drama disappointed the fans of the book but I think this drama is not that bad… maybe it is underrated? I like there was a very nice background music in the drama.

Queen for Seven Days - I watched this drama quite late. When this drama was airing, I did not watch it because I was not sure the performance of Park Min Young. I like her acting in Healer but not in Remember: War of the Son. Therefore, I was not very interested in this drama though Yeon Woo Jin was the male lead… I do like Yeon Woo Jin (so you can see I have watched all his three dramas this year), he is a very good actor that can draw your attention even he is not the main actor, for example, in Arang and the Magistrate, he was quite new in tv drama and he was just a second male lead, but his performance was very impressive. In the Seven Day Queen, he was good as always. The plot was good and the scene I like the most was Lee Yeok visit King Yeonsangun when the King nearly died.

My Sassy Girl - The visual effects of this drama was good - colourful clothes and exquisite props. The edits are good as well. Sometimes there were some funny scenes, and the idea of adding some modern elements in a Sageuk was quite interesting but apart from these, nothing special.

Criminal Minds - Yes! We have Lee Joon Gi in Criminal Minds which aired after Ruler! *happy* I think sometimes this drama was quite strange, especially when they said Ripper was a extremely dangerous criminal but the prison guards let him run away… I was just like????????????????? How come those guards allowed this to happen?? Can these guys protect the citizens??? It is speechless. But the cast was good especially Son Hyun Joo.

Fight for My Way - I quite enjoy this drama, all the things were good but for some reasons this drama cannot be one of my favourite dramas. I think the plot went far away from the beginning. I am not saying the theme but the feelings. I am not sure how to explain it, it was just not what I expected in the beginning.

Bride of Habaek - The main leads’ performance were beyond expectation… (perhaps my expectation was quite low) Anyway, I quite enjoy this drama.

Age of Youth 2 - Still good as Season 1 but it was a pity that Park Hye Soo was not there. I like it there were more boys in this season. Park Eun Bin is just WOW! Kim Min Seok is WOW! Everybody is WOW! I want a man like Seo Jang Hoon! He is caring, cute and warm. I will miss these girls and boys.

Because This is My First Life - I started this drama only for Kim Min Seok but I got into this drama because of the story line. The setting of the background was unrealistic but the details were very realistic. Yoon Ji Ho is lucky that she found a good man.

Introverted Boss - I LOVE THIS DRAMA!! This is my top 3 of 2017. Yeon Woo Jin was soooooo cute in this drama. I like the story and Yeon Woo Jin did it very well. As I am quite introverted, I can feel how the life is difficult for Eun Hwan Ki. I really understand it. In Silent Monster, I think Kim Gyo Ri was the most special member. She was very lucky that she had a good boss although she did not know at first. Her boss cared for her very much!! If I were she, I may fall in love with this boss but hopefully I would not be the second Chae Ji Hye…

If I could have a perfect day of TV watching, these shows would have to be on the list.

Ugh Buffy 😍 Unpopular opinion, but I personally LOVED Buffy & Spike 💕 I have a Buffy yearbook somewhere at my parents house, and a book that details every episode, with trivia and stuff. Think it was called the watchers companion or something 🤔

1. What is your favorite ship? Heh heheheeehhh . . . I have more than one. ^^; Jackunzel, Mericcup, Kallura, are among the top well-known ones. I’ve made up my own, primarily the Pevensies with the Cooper Kids and Heroes of Olympus. Or Kate Wibberly from Books of Beginning with Fen Brekke from Blackwell Pages. Syaoran and Sakura from both Tsubasa Chronicles and Cardcaptor Sakura are soooooo adorable!! Oh, and Yuki from Fruits Basket? I actually started shipping him with Karen from Yes Precure 5. Plus I ship Nokoru from CLAMP School Detectives with Sailor Venus (don’t ask, it just clicked), and Seira from Mermaid Melody with Idomu from CLAMP School Detectives. That’s just off the top of my head, and that’s primarily the crossover ones. ^^;

3. What was your first ship, and what fandom was it from? Technically four for this one, all from the same fandom, Taiora, Mimato, Takari, and Ken/Yolei from Digimon Adventure 01 and 02.

5. How did you start shipping . . . I’m going with . . . Jackunzel, because Flynn and Rapunzel really do work together. I just found that Jack had more appreciation for Rapunzel’s innocence than Flynn seemed to. I read somewhere that Flynn began to fall in love with Rapunzel the “moment” she began to grow up. Here’s the thing, I never got the notion that Rapunzel was extremely childish (that’s called being a brat, you know), just ignorant of the outside world. And even then, she wasn’t stupid in those instances, she figured things out pretty quickly. (And it’s not like she’s changed all that much in the series.) It was just, based on their personalities, Jack would provide an even softer yet playful romantic interest for Rapunzel, someone who’d disobey her father just as much as she would so he could show her the world. Heck, he’d swoop in and take Rapunzel out on nightly excursions even while she was living with Gothel because he can. Not that Eugene wouldn’t (yes, I go back and forth between his two names, it’s way too easy), but while Eugene acts like he’s seen enough of the world, Jack likes to have fun and wants Rapunzel to have that fun too. Anyway, I think the short point is, Jack just works better with Rapunzel than Eugene, even though Eugene works really well with her too (it’s Disney, they know how to write romance).

7. What’s a ship you like that most people don’t? Uh . . . Samwise Gamgee with Rosie Cotton (not Frodo)? Kallura? But I think the biggest one that would get a lot of hate is one I ship all by myself (though I have convinced a couple people that it works better than the canon ship he’s in), Lucico. Well, maybe Peyna too, but, definitely Lucico. OK, Lucy Pevensie and Nico di Angelo. Yup, I ship Nico with a tomboyish girl. Here’s the problem, all those clues everyone was talking about that pointed towards Nico being gay? I didn’t see that, still don’t. He loves Percy, sure, but who said it had to be romantic love? Why couldn’t it be brotherly (why can’t it still be brotherly)? Or unconditional love? It didn’t have to be sexual or romantic in any form (there is more than one kind of love. I highly doubt that because Nico loves both of his sisters that he’s interested in incest). Anyway, point is, I started shipping Nico with Lucy before the “big reveal”, and I can’t and won’t go back. I like them together way too much now. Yes, there is still the opposites thing going with them, light and dark, life and death, but there are similarities too. Did you know that Lucy can fight as well as anyone in the Narnian army? And she’s good with a bow and arrow. Can totally see her snatching Will’s bow and arrows to use them (for once) and stealing Nico’s heart in the process (let’s face it, since apparently Nico liked Percy romantically, that means he likes the hero types, which she most certainly is). As for Peyna, which is Peter Pevensie and Reyna, well, Reyna’s just like Nico in the sense that she likes the hero types, which Peter most certainly is (and the High King to boot). And here’s the kicker, Peter doesn’t have a romantic interest, meaning he can return Reyna’s feelings, and most likely will. But, like I said, of those two, Lucico would be the most hated because Nico is with a girl (who said he had to be gay? Why can’t he be bi?), and a pretty awesome girl at that. Someone who kinda understands the feeling of being talked about behind their backs (the book The Voyage of the Dawn Treader reveals that), who did live during the 1940s, who is royalty in a magical realm that can’t be spoken about to “normal” people, and both have an interest in the sea (Nico liked pirates, Lucy would be into mermaids). And of course, having seen and been near Aslan, Nic would not freak out any of the friends of Narnia, since Aslan is wilder and more unpredictable than a son of Hades. Or as Frodo so eloquently put it, a servant of the Enemy would look fair and feel foul, while both Aslan and Nico look foul and feel fair. ;P

9.What is the most underrated ship in your opinion? Uh . . . all of my noncanon ships? lol . . . though, right now, I’d say Jackunzel, especially now that the Jelsa hype has finally started to die down. Mericcup is still going strong, but Jackunzel needs some help. It’s not dead yet, not by a long shot, but it does need a little bit more life. Jack and Rapunzel are such barefooted sweethearts, exploring and enjoying life. And I’d go so far to say that Nico with Lucy is really underrated, not really because no one else has thought of it, but because of what Lucy can do for Nico. Yes, she is a healer, but she is a warrior as well, Not only will she help him heal, she can also help him fight his battles, carry his crosses with him. Nico needs someone who can not only ease him out of his shell, but will also shove him back in and take a blow or two for him. Someone who will encourage him, but show their weakness by needing him to encourage them too. With Lucy, the two are equals, and they would see it that way. I don’t see that with Will. Doctor’s orders? Really? I’m sorry , but when the first thing that comes out of your mouth when you see someone after a few days are words about yourself and them last, that’s not a good relationship. Love requires sacrifice, and Nico knows that all too well.

…okay, I put that equation into Wolfram Alpha, but the graphs it shows you by default are extraordinarily hard to read, and you can’t get any further detail without signing up for a Pro (i.e. paid) account, soooooo…. I’m just gonna answer all of them! Hope that’s okay! ^^;;;

1. First console you’ve ever owned?‘Twas the original NES. I was so happy when my parents bought it (although tbh my dad bought it as much for himself as for me). I spent so many hours playing the SMB games… ahh, good times.

3. Favorite childhood game?Hmmm, probably Super Mario Bros. 3. That was the one I spent the longest playing, anyway. My mom even went to the trouble to borrow the strategy guide from the library, photocopy the whole thing, and bind it together into a book for me. My mom was the best. ;_;

4. Longest consecutive hours you’ve played a game?Whew, uhhh, not as long as some people, I’m sure. I don’t think I’ve ever spent more than 8 hours straight playing games. I’m certainly no match for the likes of Neptune and Vert, that’s for sure. ^^;;;

5. Game with the best soundtrack?I actually really really like the soundtrack from the first Hyperdimension Neptunia game. A lot of those songs just get stuck in my head, y'know? Especially Nepgear’s theme. :3

6. An underrated game from within the last few years?Hmm, gonna go with Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed. It apparently only got a 64/100 on Metacritic, which is WAY too low for how fun this game is.

7. Most disappointing game you’ve played?Honestly? Most of the Jak and Daxter series. I really really wanted to like those games, but I just… couldn’t. There was just something about them that really turned me off. I enjoy other, similar games, so I don’t know what it was. I got all of them for super cheap (like probably $5 each) so it’s not like I spent a bunch of money on them, but I still felt ripped off, y'know?

8. The game with the best atmosphere/scenery?The Metroid Prime games, for me, had some of the best settings. Nicely-rendered and completely appropriate for the feel of the game. If you’ve never played any of the MP games, please do so. If you can play the Wii controls versions, so much the better (it’s playable with the Gamecube controller but once you use the Wiimote to aim Samus’s gun you’ll never go back).

10. Prefer PC or console?Based solely on the number of games amassed, PC wins out, but I honestly don’t prefer one over the other.

11. Have you written any fanfic or made any fanart?…not of video games, no.

12. Most bizarre game you’ve ever played?It’s pretty tame, but probablyyyyyy…. Goat Simulator. Like, what the fuck even is this game.

13. Scariest game you’ve played?Well, I haven’t actually played it yet, but the scariest game I currently own is probably Spooky’s Jump Scare Mansion.

14. Do you watch playthroughs online?Not really, no.

15. Favorite animal in a video game?This is kind of an odd question… I’m gonna have to go with Gex the gecko, particularly from the second game. I loved that game so much.

16. The best year in gaming you’ve experienced?Literally every year seems better than the last, so I can’t really answer this question. This year has been pretty amazing so far, but then, I’ve said that about every other year past, so… ^^;;;

17. Have a video game themed background or lockscreen?LOL of course I do! My desktop wallpaper is Neptune and Nepgear, and my phone’s lock screen and home screen are both pics of Purple Heart.

18. Worst game you’ve played?Ooh, interesting question. I don’t really know if I can answer this properly? One of the games that stands out to me is called Sparkle 2 Evo. The graphics were nice but the controls were awful and it was nearly unplayable. The devs might have patched it since, but I kinda lost interest in it so I don’t really care at this point.

19. Hardest game you’ve ever played?The hardest game I’ve seriously played is probably VVVVVV. Fuck that game. >:(

20. Favorite publisher and/or developer?If I don’t say Idea Factory (and/or Compile Heart) I’ll feel like I’m betraying my beloved Neptune, so I’ll go with them.

21. If you had to play one game for the rest of your life, what would it be?I don’t know if this really counts as a video game, but I’m gonna have to say Mamono Sweeper.

22. If you could turn one game into movie, which would it be?The first game that sprang to mind was Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It was such a cool game, I’d love to see a cinematic version of it (also can you IMAGINE Samus on the big screen? EEEEEEEEEEEEEE).

24. Ever cried because of a video game? Which one(s)?Oh, probably! I know SMB3 made me cry when I was little because there was one level I just couldn’t beat no matter how many times I tried it. I forget which level it was now, lol.

25. Proudest accomplishment in gaming?Hmmm, probably the time I finally actually beat Indalecio in Star Ocean 2, when you do the event where his power limiter is removed and he basically becomes a god. Fuck me sideways, that was an insane fight.

26. How often do you play online? Co-op?Almost never! The last game I played co-op was MegaTagmension Blanc + Neptune Vs. Zombies (I played with @aboutthreeneps), but I really don’t do online gaming much.

27. Have you gotten any friends into gaming?Maybe? Most people I’m friends with are either already into gaming, or else they’re not interested, so…. probably not.

28. Who got YOU into gaming?Hmm, I guess it was my dad. I watched him play a bunch of games when I was a small child and was like “THAT LOOKS SO COOL I WANNA DO IT TOO”.

29. Watch cutscenes or skip them?I usually watch them, unless it’s one I’ve seen a bunch of times (or one you can’t skip… damn unskippable cutscenes).

30. On average, how long does it take you in the character creation screen?…quite a while. It depends on the game, I guess. When I made a new character in Stardew Valley today, I spent between 5-10 minutes, but when I was creating a character in Saints Row IV, I probably spent close to an hour tweaking every little variable to get it just right.

32. Do you cosplay?Not really, although I did cosplay as Squall from Final Fantasy 8 one time. I still have the gunblade sitting around somewhere.

33. Favorite female npc?34. Favorite male npc?These two questions are really hard for me to answer! Mostly because I find games fall into either one of two categories: ones where the NPCs are faceless and forgettable, and ones where the NPCs are extremely well-done and I love all of them.

35. Best protagonist?Neptune, duh.

36. Best antagonist?I like GLaDOS from Portal.

37. Ever been made fun of for playing video games?Hmm, I don’t think so.

38. Have you tried a game, hated it, then tried again, and loved it?Again, I don’t think so? There’s been plenty of games where I’ve been like “meh” at first and then “OMG THIS GAME IS AWESOME” later, but I don’t think there’s any I really hated that I went back and liked later.

39. Do you play for achievements/trophies?Not explicitly, or at least, not at first. I tend to play through the story of a game first, and then on my second playthrough I’ll try to get most of the achievements.

40. Favorite voice actor?A new favourite, but a favourite nonetheless: Megan Hollingshead.

41. Gone to a midnight release before?Nope! Any of the games I’ve been excited for either never had this sort of event, or else they did but I just got on the bandwagon too late. I’m incredibly behind the times when it comes to keeping up with this sort of thing. T_T

42. A game you will never forget (in a bad OR good way)?Star Ocean 2. That game will stay with me forever. In a good way. :3

43. Favorite sidekick or companion?Ooh, good one! I really liked Eryn from Fairy Fencer F. She’s such a sweetie, and Fang treats her like garbage for most of the game, so I think I was especially drawn to her because he wasn’t.

44. Do graphics matter?They have to be done well, and the style has to fit with the overall style of the game. Other than that, I don’t care. A game isn’t instantly better by having more realistic graphics or whatever, I don’t care.

45. Do you like funny or more serious games?I tend to like more funny games, overall.

46. Always, sometimes, or never use subtitles?Sometimes. It really depends on the game.

47. First person or Third person?Both??? How is this even a question lmao

48. A game you’ve always wanted to play but have never gotten to it?Bastion. I watched a friend play some of it and it looked super cool, and I own it, I’ve just never played it for some reason.

49. A game you haven’t played in forever, but want to replay?Hmm, I kind of want to play Cave Story again. I love that game

50. How many games to do you own?I currently have 186 games in my Steam inventory, and counting the various consoles I own it’s probably at least 250.

51. First character you’ve had a crush on?I can’t really think of any right now! I did kind of have a crush on Princess Toadstool in Super Mario RPG, I guess that’s the earliest character I can remember.

52. A game you will always stand behind, and support no matter what?All of the Hyperdimension Neptunia games. I own all 4 of the main series games (Re;Birth 1-3 and VII) and 4 of the spinoff games (Nep U, Hyperdevotion Noire, MegaTagmension, and PP), and I’ve bought more Neptunia merchandise than I have for any other game series.

53. Your most immersive game?Most of the Pokemon games, for me, have been pretty immersive. Like, I take it upon myself to learn everything about them, I keep written notes on lots of stuff, I actively plan out my strategies in advance, etc.

54. A sequel you really want?Hmm, can’t think of too many. Most of my favourite games are series anyway, so they already have sequels. :P

55. How much time, on average, do you play in a week?Hard to say, some weeks I barely play at all, some weeks that’s all I do. I’d say on average, like taking the arithmetic mean, it’d be around an hour a day.

56. Do you tell people irl that you play video games?Oh, for sure. There’s not really a stigma around it anymore since everyone plays video games these days (the whole notion of “gamers are over” and all that).

57. What is an overrated game you’ve played?Basically every MMO I’ve ever played. I just don’t get the appeal.

Ever have someone walk in on a sex scene between you and you LI?I’m going to assume that “LI” stands for “love interest,” like as in the love interest of the main character of a game, otherwise this question makes no sense (even as is it doesn’t make much sense). No, this has never happened. I can’t recall any games I’ve ever played that have had explicit sex scenes. Other than, like… HuniePop or something, but even that’s not really explicit, it’s mostly just moaning. (Unless they released some super-X-rated update or something, I haven’t touched that game in a loooooooong time.)

61. A game you know everything about?Star Ocean: The Second Story. I know that game like the back of my hand. I could probably play it blindfolded.

62. Would you want to work with video games when you are older?I want to work with video games now! I *AM* older, dammit! (Especially after watching all of New Game!, I really wanna work for a development studio. I don’t even care doing what, I just wanna be in the industry!)

63. What’s a game that has inspired you?Hmm, I can’t really think of any games that have “inspired” me. Like, in what way? I don’t know.

64. Describe your favorite video game using only three words?Neptune = best girl. (I don’t know if an equals sign counts as a word, if so you can take it out and my point still stands.)

65. Any favorite screenshots of games?I’ve posted a few on my tumblr, mostly from Nep games.

66. Game with the yummiest looking food?Uhhhh…. hmmm. I mean, Portal had that delicious-looking cake. Stardew Valley has some decent food too.

67. Most violent game you’ve played?Honestly, probably One Finger Death Punch. Being that the entire point of the game is slaughtering hundreds of enemies with either your fists or whatever weapons you happen to find lying around. I mean, it’s all stickmen, but still.

68. An older game that you’ve just recently gotten into?I honestly can’t think of any! The oldest game I’ve gotten into *recently* is the aforementioned Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed, but that came out in 2014, so I don’t know if it’s old enough for the purposes of this response.

69. Your first LI?…not quite sure what this means. Love interest? Like, first character from a game I fell in love with? First game I played where the main character had a love interest? I honestly don’t know how to answer this one.

70. Do you play any mobile games?A few. Not counting portable consoles (i.e. the 3DS or PS Vita), I have a handful of games on my phone (Sailor Moon Drops, Monument Valley, Mushihimesama, I even have Carmageddon on my phone (yes, they released an iOS port of that game somehow)).

71. A game you can’t stop talking/thinking about at the moment?Well I did just pick up Stardew Valley again, so I’m probably gonna be thinking about that for a while. Same with that Neptunia idol game, I just started playing that and it’s super fun.

72. Have any guilty pleasure games?Of course not, why do you ask?

73. A game with the best fandom?Overall, my experience has been that Neptunia fans are all pretty awesome. :D

74. Which game has the best lore?I actually love the lore from the Metroid series. The whole history with Samus and the Chozo is so interesting to me.

75. Do you focus on main storyline/quest or do sidequests first?I do both! I’ll play the main storyline until either (1) I need to grind more because the enemies/bosses are getting stronger, (2) I need to get better equipment and need either materials for crafting, or money for buying stuff, or (3) the main story is in a lull and I get an interesting side quest. Usually once I go off on a sidequest tangent, I don’t come back for a good long while (to the point where I’ll stop playing the game for a while and then when I come back to it I’m like “ok wtf was I supposed to be doing? I don’t remember, maybe I’ll just start over again lol”).
