worst way to start my new year, thanks. i have a lot of things to say about these companies but i'm tired and just keeping it focused to the pin side of things for this one. do not ever buy pins from these companies, literally ALL of them are stolen from small artists like me. if you want to buy enamel pins, check out etsy, and artist's personal websites and shops! (though even Etsy has some bootleg pins that ship straight from china, so tread carefully…)
Every pin I've designed is, thus far, EXCLUSIVE to my etsy. if you find it anywhere else, it's been ripped off! and once these stupid bootlegs pop up, it's basically a never ending game of whack-a-mole trying to get them all taken down...

I just have to say this: Aegon the Usurper flying off like an idiot in battle while Rhaenyra does not, doesn’t make this guy a hero, nor does it make Rhaenyra a coward.
We need to set the record straight: Women don’t have to be warriors in order to be worth something.
This is just another proof of classic misogynistic thinking of TG stans. But they also prove to be highly subjective since they give “poor sweet innocent” Helaena a pass for doing absolutely nothing and being less than relevant even as a dragonrider. And as the ringleader of the Greens, I don’t think Alicent sat on a horse and rode off to battle in order to further her own ambitions. She started the whole mess and then hid behind her sons. Even after Rhaenyra took King’s Landing, the only thing Alicent could say was something like “Just wait till my son Aemond returns bla bla bla.”
Rhaenyra is a girl’s girl. Those who read the book understand that. The canon version of her never wanted to be a son (unlike the stupidity induced in that show). She was very feminine: always choosing to wear the best dresses with the finest silks, many pieces of jewelry, and she is highly interested in men. She was always proud to be a woman. She embraced it. She never tried to act like the opposing gender as a way to make others look at her as worthy of the throne.
I repeat: Rhaenyra was a girl’s girl and she was proud of it.
She was not a warrior. She never trained with a sword in her life, unlike her idiotic half-brothers. She was not even the type (unlike Princess Rhaenys). Rhaenyra spent her time doing girly things and riding Syrax.
Shortly before the war started, Rhaenyra suffered a miscarriage which greatly affected her health. She needed months to recover. This is the reason why she didn’t ride Syrax in battle, as confirmed in the book. It was not because she didn’t want to or because she refused to fight her battles herself (as I hear many TG stans claim in spite).
And even if flying hadn’t been detrimental to her health, why would she fly into battle? You think that is a smart idea? It’s brave, but it’s also stupid, and the usurper himself proved that.
Aegon the Usurper rode his dragon into battle to show that he’s a man’s man, and what did that get him? Injuries which prevented him from being able to move well enough in order to sit on the throne he stole. The only battle he actually won was against a baby dragon, Moondancer. A baby dragon who inflicted deadly wounds on Sunfyre and caused his death.
So tell me again how ‘intelligent’ the usurper was to fly off into battle himself and what exactly he has accomplished with that. What exactly is so “heroic” about that? The fact that he shows off his masculinity on a big bad dragon?
And of course do forgive a poor woman for not flying her dragon into battle like a crazy person after a miscarriage and several psychological blows in one go like her father’s death, her daughter’s death, her son’s death and the usurpation through which a faction of snakes stole the throne that belonged to her.
Do forgive her for lacking any combat experience because you know…she was raised a girl and has a girlish personality!
And do forgive her for not being an idiot and getting herself disabled, like her half-brother did.

Hiii how y’all doing just here to drop a random snippet
The midnight lighting sweeps over James’ skin, casting soft shadows. Specks of glitter along his eyelids—no doubt Dorcas’ doing, damn her—twinkle like individual stars. A night sky painted over this sculpture of a face, of a boy. Eyes crinkled in laughter, cheeks blossoming.
The music is muffled, as if they really are underwater, at the bottom of some sea, and Regulus is swimming in it. The beat pierces through the waves, resonating in the floor beneath him and straight through to his chest. Or maybe that’s just his heartbeat. Or James’. Maybe the room is just one big heartbeat.
Regulus is so lost in it all he doesn’t notice when neither of them are laughing anymore.
James’ eyes, gold and glittering, sweep over Regulus’ face in interest. “Who did your makeup?”
His mouth feels dry as he replies, “Pandora.”
James raises a hand gently and hesitantly, holds his fingers out by the younger boy’s face, like the iridescent lines sloped across it have some sort of pull. “Can I?”
Regulus holds his breath. And nods.
He watches the pure wonder strewn across James’ expression as he softly traces the lines—beneath his eyes, across his cheeks and the bridge of his nose, above his eyebrows and then below. It’s a ghost of a touch and it’s leaving trails of white-hot flame. Regulus keeps himself as still as possible, breaths shallow, like the slightest movement might scare him and his touch away.
“So pretty,” James murmurs, so softly it’s not clear if he knows he said it out loud.
“Uh- yeah,” Regulus stutters, “she’s good at makeup.”
The tracing continues dangerously close to Regulus’ lips as James speaks in almost a whisper. “Oh. Yeah, the makeup too.”

thoughts on nibbly & steph
"you wanted [to win] the most. you were the hungriest. nibbly is a creature of hunger; of desire, passion. that's what makes you taste so sweet to him. the sweetest woman in hatchetfield."
^ this is from the nightmare time episode "honey queen" and it's said to the person who gets sacrificed to nibblenephim. (not saying who the sacrifice is, or who says it to her, for people who haven't seen honey queen because teehee it's a spoiler)
i just wanted to find this exact quote because it's fucking me up that nibbly specifically singled out steph to comment on her being tasty (simply "stephanie, yum yum!") in npmd
out of the 3 of them steph does not really immediately strike me as the most passionate or the most hungry for anything really??? in fact i feel like. pete literally has an "i want" song and grace has... what could i Guess be described as an "i want" song if you want to count a sexy daydream as that idk lmao it's a bit more off to the side of the trope than pete's song but it's still an expression of a desire
pete is earnest about what he wants, and grace is viciously in denial about what she wants, but they both seem to want Something very strongly and it's kind of worn on their sleeves
steph though…? sure, she has goals. she wants to raise her grades in the earlier parts of the show, and she loves pete. (and like all of them she wants to escape this fucked up circumstance they've found themselves in and not get arrested or killed but that's kind of par for the course.) but like… idk. she doesnt seem nearly as openly passionate as the other two to me
it's possible that they just picked her for that line because pete was already singled out by tinky and grace was already singled out by blinky so Someone had to mention steph but. idk
it keeps rotating in my brain like why the fuck does nibbly Specifically want to eat steph???
they couldve found some way to get wiggly or pokey to single steph out but they chose nibbly and i want to know the thought behind that so badly

What is it with this Targaryens are blood supremacists bullshit?
Let’s make some things clear right now:
1. Targaryen blood is superior. It’s not some sort of twisted Nazi belief, like some people make it out to be. It’s actual fact.
Sue the Targaryens for constantly pointing that out and lacking modesty. It doesn’t make it less true.
Their blood gives them godly features and the ability to ride dragons. The hypocrisy of Andals never ceases to amaze me: they have a tendency to complain about how Targaryens have ‘queer customs’ but what actually bothers them is that they choose to keep their ‘superior blood’ within their family and not share it with others. Andals criticize Targaryens for being different and yet trample over one another for a chance to marry into their family so that their offspring would have godly features and ride dragons. If Targaryens are so “bad”, then why don’t Andals keep to themselves too?
2. When did it become an actual problem to want to stick to your own kind?
Valyrians are not originally from Westeros. Their home was destroyed. They found another home, of people who constantly judge them and look at them differently despite hundreds of years after conquest.
Despite the many flaws in the show, there is something that actually stuck with me: when Daemon said, “Valyria is gone. We don’t belong anywhere.”
This actually broke my heart a little and got me thinking: how many Targaryens actually felt like strangers in their own home despite having been born and raised there?
I mean, Andals constantly treat them differently and yet blame them for wanting to stick to their own Valyrian kind (Targaryens, Velaryons and Celtigars).
The Conquest in itself is no excuse. The Kingdoms were divided and at constant war with one another, which destroyed the smallfolk. The Targaryens took away their individual powers, united the Kingdoms and gave the people a better chance at peace. The Andals are pissed because they lost their autonomy? Well, considering what they used that autonomy for, they shouldn’t have had it in the first place.
I applaud the Targaryens for taking charge and conquering Westeros for a better future. I mean, do you honestly believe that they would have been accepted in Westeros if they hadn’t? That they would have showed up with their dragons, asked to be a part of the Andals’ world and they would have been accepted with hugs and kisses? Don’t make me laugh. They would have never survived if the Andals kept control of Westeros.
And do keep in mind that if their intentions were actually bad, the Targaryens would have turned Westeros into the new Valyria. They didn’t do that though, did they? They even accepted and converted to their faith.
3. Valyrians are actually attracted to their own kind. So what? It’s their custom and nature. It’s the one thing they asked for. The only exception. To be able to keep their traditions of marrying within their family, not only in order to keep their blood pure for the purpose of controlling dragons, but also because they feel comfortable with one another. They connect with one another. They don’t want to lose ties with their true home, with their history, language, culture etc.
Andals will never be able to understand Valyrians. It’s called having a connection with someone. It can be both physical and emotional (like it was with Daemon and Rhaenyra). Why is that such a crime?
Targaryens are constantly criticized for wanting to stick to their own kind, yet the Andals have been treating them like strangers for hundreds of years simply because they are different.
Who is the blood supremacist here?
Who are the ones who constantly discriminate and create the division lines? Answer: the Andals.

HOTD: AU where Rhaenyra only had daughters
Princess Jacaera Velaryon, like her sisters, Lucerra and Laena, had brown hair and eyes, and a pug nose. She had a broad, slightly masculine build, yet attracted young men everywhere she went with her sharp mind and courtly manners. She was responsible, bold, and politically savvy. Jacaera rode the dragon Vermax.
Princess Lucerra Velaryon was a sweet and shy girl who loved flying her dragon Arrax more than being at court. She was closest to her grandfather, lord Corlys Velaryon.
Princess Laena Velaryon was a wild and spirited girl, interested in swordfighting and dragonriding. She had the brown hair and eyes of her older sisters and an athletic build. Laena looked up to her stepfather, the rogue prince Daemon Targaryen. She rode the dragon Tyraxes.
Princess Aemma Targaryen had dark purple eyes which looked almost black, and silver hair which was so pale that it was almost white. She was lean of face and body, and taller than most women. Aemma was graceful, clever and enjoyed reading. She rode the dragon Stormcloud.
Princess Visenya Targaryen had silver-gold hair, which she wore in the style of Queen Visenya, and was said to be striking, though she was not as pretty as her older sister, Aemma. She was charming and clever, and way more intelligent than people thought, which she used to her advantage. She enjoyed dancing, reading and hawking. At the age of 13, she claimed the dragon Silverwing.

Marika Rebels
Marika kneeled before the Emissary of the Greater will, head bowed as she sat within the Erdtree. Her dusty face was streaked from tears shed. So many tears for her eldest child.
For her boy that now rotted at the roots of the Erdtree.
Her back was marred with cracks from her shattering of the Elden Ring, a fit of rage against the being that destroyed her.
All she had left was Godwyn. Miquella and Malenia left her, Mohg and Morgott were lost to the sewers both.
And now Godwyn was gone.
The Greater Will demanded repentance. It demanded control.
It demanded order, for it was order itself.
It remained still, but its interest was waning. For life was chaos.
And there was no greater proof of its chaos then war.
Marika lifted her head, her grief fueled rage renewed. She would tear it all down. All for her sons to Godfrey, the only man who she loved. Godwyn, and the twins who’s memories she clung to.
Even her beautiful treacherous twins who left her. Because they were cursed by the Gods the Greater Will deemed the enemy.
She would bring a war unlike any other. For her remaining children were like her. Burning with flames of ambition.
“I am the Queen Eternal. I shall not be thy dog. I shall not heel.”
The Beast reeled back at the defiance, brandishing a spear. Marika bared her teeth, resisting as Radagon tugged upon her body, demanding he be the one in control.
She was god upon the earth. She had power. She would not be silenced, tormented, and maimed into compliance. She would chase the Greater Will and its need for order out of the lands between. Banish the thing that shattered her to pieces.
“Hear me, Demigods. My children beloved…”
The spear came down and ripped through her chest, her body further cracking away. She spilled no blood, for the beast would never draw it.
She was stone, and stone did not bleed.
“Make of thyselves that which ye desire. Be it a Lord. Be it a God.”
Her children, her blood, all heard her words.
Even Godwyn’s soulless husk heard, his milky eyes gazing skyward as death infected the golden roots which tried to claim him.
“But should ye fail to become aught at all, ye will be forsaken. Amounting only to sacrifices-”
Her voice caught in her throat, her own hands clasped tightly around it, squeezing as Radagon finally silenced her.
The beast loomed overhead, and she knew she would not be leaving this tree.
But she still had faith. She was the golden order. She was the god that walked upon the earth. Oh she may be strung up and tormented for an eternity, but this was her land.
It was her grace. And this was her tree. They may seal it off, prevent everyone from entering.
But nothing prevented her from reaching out.
And she had planned this. From the moment the last Giant fell and her first husband lost his grace.
She had planned to break free of her curse. If not that day, then one day.
This day. When she had nothing left.
So come ye tarnished.
Come and return home.
Come and slay the beast that binds me.
Come and free me.
Come my one true Lord.
Come return to mine side.
