Having Hassel's Gible teralyze first into a grass type during art classes was a uh
A choice
Usually, in scar/vio, pokémons are teralyzed into a type that removes or makes them take neutral damage from otherwise super effective hits, or to remove some of the type weaknesses (usually quad weaknesses are prioritized).
I'm going all over them just for the sake of it (I fixated on this game and my brain won't let go):
•Katy's Teddiursa becomes a bug type (bug resists fighting)
•Brassius's Sudowoodoo becomes a grass type (removes weakness to water and ground, while still knowing Rock Throw to counter fire, flying and ice)
•Iono's Mismagius becomes an electric type (she has Levitate, enough said)
•Kofu's Crabominable becomes a water type, taking neutral damage from flying, psychic, fighting and fairy, and resisting steel)
•Larry's Staraptor becomes a normal type (removing all his weaknesses beside fighting, which counters thanks to Aereal Ace)
•Tulip's Florges becomes a psychic type (super effective against poison, resists steel, all while having Moonblast against dark types)
•Ryme's Toxtricity becomes a ghost type (removes his quad weakness to ground, knows Hex to counter ghost types)
•Grusha's Altaria becomes an ice type (removes her quad weakness to ice, knows Hurricane to counter fighting types)
And we're not over yet!
•Rika's Clodsire becomes a ground type (neutral damage to psychic, has Water Absorb, knows Toxic and Protect. Over all good counter moveset)
•Poppy's Tinkaton becomes a steel type (counters fighting with Play Rough, fire with Stone Edge)
•dear old Larry's Flamigo becomes a flying type (Liquidation and Close Combat counter rock)
•Geeta's Glimmora becomes a rock type (removes quad weaknesses to ground, only making it double weakness, neutral damage from psychic, Earth Power counters steel, Play Rough counters fighting, Sludge Wave counters grass)
And now we're getting to the REAL, saucy stuff, thank you for making it this far, I swear I'll talk about Hassel now
Dear old professor Hassel has a Baxcalibur he teralyze into a dragon type (neutral damage to fighting, rock and steel, resists fire, he knows Close Combat for ice types and Glaive Rush for dragon types). And it makes perfect sense, he's a dragon type trainer after all.
However, that little, round, absolute unit he uses to show teralyzation makes no sense.
As we know, Gible's line, aside for being feared since good old Sinnoh, being speedy as hell, and having the bad habit of sweeping a ton of various teams, has a very strong weakness to ice.
I've demonstrated so far that usually, quad weaknesses are prioritized in teralyzing, and I'm sure good old Hassel is aware of this, being an Elite four.
And yet, that little guy as a grass teratype, effectively still being weak to ice. Not only that, it is now weak to flying, fire, poison, bug, ice, and it loses its ground immunity.
From a utility point of view, it's clear that it's not the most advantageous teratype to have on a team member. Then again, the little guy is probably just for show, a class mascot, the little pokemon Hassel and Brassius are raising like their own child, the choice is yours.
Anyway, the class the little fella is shown in is a teralyzation demonstration. You'd think an art nerd like Hassel would pick literally any type, after all they're all beautiful crystals, no? Hell, the dragon teratype gives the pokemon a little crystal dragon, what's cooler than that for a dragon type Elite four that ALSO teaches art?
And yet, he's a grass teratype
(At least the first time, the second lesson is just a showcase from a battle point of view. Dendra must've put some common sense into Hassel's gay ass)
Like a certain artist we know Hassel is married to, I MEAN is friend with. Sorry, I had a lapsus there
And can we please talk about how Hassel doesn't spare himself from defining the flowers beautiful? I bet they make you think of your husband, don't they?

Krenko’s Guide to Pokemon: Shellder Line
Tumblr media
I’m sorry, but every goofy, throwaway comment I can think of for this Pokemon is absolutely filthy, so I’m just going to say nothing and let you all wonder what I was thinking about for this clam-based pokemon. DESIGN:  Shellder is modeled after a clam, but given big adorable eyes to remind you that clams are actually living creatures. Though real clams don’t have tongues, what they do have are a single large, fleshy, pink foot they use to move around with, which often resembles a tongue. The sheller design takes this visual trick and makes it real.  Shellder looks enough like a clam to be obviously a clam, but also different enough that one would never mistake it for a clam that wasn’t a Shellder, and that’s a successful design in my book. It’s also cute. Shellder’s evolved form, Cloyster, is clearly going a bit more Oyster style, with the old darkness of Shellder’s head very clearly being a pearl now. Cloyster looks powerful, dangerous, thoroughly spikey, and yet still unique. It’s clearly some sort of bivalve, but also clearly an original creation. I have absolutely zero complaints about this design.
Tumblr media
EVOLUTIONS:  Shellder + Water Stone = Cloyster. It’s that simple. And like many stone evolutions, Cloyster stops learning moves.  There’s a pretty big power gap between Shellder and Cloyster, and in fact it’d be mechanically fine if there were another stage between them, but Pokemon doesn’t add middle evolutions, and we don’t need a third one on the bottom or the top... But how about a third one to the side? See, Shellder has a second evolution that we all know about and that we all have but none of us have it in our Pokedex. Cut from Gold and Silver, meet Turban, courtesy once again of Dr. Lava.
Tumblr media
For those not in the know, it’s said repeatedly throughout the games that when a Shellder bites a Slowpoke, they both evolve, either into Slowbro or Slowking, but the game’s never had a mechanic for that. Instead, it’s just a factoid around Slowpoke as you evolve it normally. In the anime and side games, though, we see Shellder evolve into Turban multiple times, but it’s always still referred to as the Shellder, or part of the new Slowbro/Slowking.
We don’t know much about what Turban can do on its own, and we may never, but Generation 2 almost gave it to us as an alternate form of Shellder. Turban, as its name suggests, is based on the Turban Snail.  How it would’ve evolved is unknown, as the game data at the time of the leak didn’t actually include any way to get Turban.  This isn’t unusual for the demo- Chikorita wasn’t programmed to evolve, even though Bayleef and Meganium were in the game-but it does leave the question eternal. It’s possible it required feeding a Shellder one of those tasty Slowpoke Tails that Team Rocket’s after. Personally, I’d still love to find a way to get Turban in the future, but it seems like the moment’s passed... and besides, it’d be weird if it was stronger than any of Slowpoke’s evolved forms that require its assistance.
Tumblr media
Art by PeregrineJazmin TYPING: While Shellder is a Water type, Cloyster is Water/Ice and we were just here like two Pokemon ago weren’t we?  Water/Ice is decent offensively, super effective against six types,  but Ice is such an awful defensive type that Cloyster winds up with four weaknesses and only two resistances. It’s double resistant to Ice, which is helpful, but rarely necessary. STATS: Cloyster has 180 defense, and 45 special defense. It can tank some pokemon all day, and others are just going to one-shot it. It’s weird to see a Pokemon with 180 defense and say it’s not here to be a wall, but with poor HP and Special Defense and not many resistances, Cloyster’s 180 defense is a perk that makes it hard to stop, not a tool to win a drag-out brawl.   For offenses, Cloyster has a decent 95 attack and a below-average-but-inoffensive 70 speed. Cloyster needs to be built for speed to keep up, but it can be, so that’s fine.

Art by raizy
ABILITIES: Shell Armor grants immunity to critical hits. Overcoat grants immunity to Hail (which Cloyster already has), Sandstorms, and Powder/Spore moves. But we don’t care. Because Cloyster has Skill Link and Skill Link is what makes Cloyster great. Skill Link says that if a move can hit multiple times, it hits the maximum number of times every time. I’ll get into why this is so good in the Moves section, but I want to be very, very clear right here: Skill Link is what makes Cloyster a strong Pokemon.
Tumblr media
Art by Zebes MOVES: Cloyster is better as a Physical Attacker than as a Special Attacker, so its Water move is generally going to be Liquidation. Except... Cloyster doesn’t necessarily need a water move.  Ice already hits ground, so it only needs Water to hit Steel, Fire, and Rock. Keep that in mind and we’ll come back to that later. Cloyster’s Ice attack is Icicle Spear.  Formerly Cloyster’s signature move, Icicle Spear is a mediocre move that hits 2-5 time for 25 power and 100 accuracy, averaging at just under 80 power... But Cloyster has Skill Link. With Skill Link, Icicle Spear is 125 Power, 100 Accuracy, STAB, Physical, and doesn’t even make contact. With Cloyster’s decent 95 power, this is amazing. And you know what else triggers off Skill Link that Cloyster can learn?  Pin Missile, Rock Blast, and Spike Cannon. Spike Cannon’s garbage, so don’t worry about that, but Pin Missile’s solid and Rock Blast is super-effective against Bug, Fire, and Ice types, and does neutral damage against Rock and Steel Pokemon. Though technically weaker than STAB Liquidation, it’s better coverage for what Cloyster needs.
It’s also important to note that if Cloyster uses a King’s Rock, every hit of  Icicle Spear, Rock Blast, and other similar moves give a chance to make the target flinch, giving Cloyster better odds against foes that can survive a turn against it.
Tumblr media
Art by JRCoffronIII
Now, the real way to take advantage of Cloyster’s huge defense in battle is to reliably have a turn to set up, and Cloyster has one of the best set up moves in the game: Shell Smash. Shell Smash lowers Cloyster’s Defense to something still respectable, tanks its Special Defense even further, and raises Attack, Special Attack, and Speed each by two stages.  As long as you’re confident whatever’s in front of you isn’t going to drop you in one hit (and a Focus Sash can ensure that), a single Shell Smash puts you in a position to start sweeping with Icicle Spear and Rock Blast.
For a fourth attack, Cloyster has options. While Liquidation isn’t necessary for coverage, Cloyster’s special attack isn’t that much lower than its physical attack, and with Shell Smash it might be worthwhile to pick up one special attack for enemies that are physically defensive.  If you do this, Surf or Hydro Pump for the added coverage is good. Other options include Icicle Shard, the Ice-type equivalent of Quick Attack, the aforementioned PIn Missile to be super-effective against Dark and Psychic types, and Explosion for when you absolutely positively have to make sure something’s dead. For non-attacks, Cloyster can learn Spikes and Toxic Spikes,  as well as their opposite, Rapid Spin, all of which can be very useful.
OVERALL:  Shellder and Cloyster have great designs, and thanks to Shell Smash and Skill Link Cloyster has a very unique combat style that’s really solid and has its place in a lot of teams.  It’s funny to me that it really looks like it should be a slow, tanky Pokemon but it’s actually best at just mowing down everything in its way with Icicle Spears. I don’t have much to say about Cloyster because Cloyster is great as is. I don’t see a need for improvement, or a change, or a new evolution or anything. The only thing I’m really interested in seeing from this line down the road isn’t even more power, it’s that I’d like to finally see Turban playable on its own.

Pokemon Black Nuzlocke - Part 4
Hello! Surprise everyone I got another Nuzlocke update. And for a quick minor spoiler. I tackled two Gyms down in the next part. Might surprise you but I got a feeling the last two Gyms may pose a challenge. But you can read more below!
Back into we go with a Vanillite encounter at the Cold Storage. Once again, I caught a female one and decided to name her BananSplit. Totally spelt it wrong but that shall be her name for now on. Then I went inside of the building to go deal with Team Plasma and level up my team. After that I went to the Gym, watched Ghetsis truly do “totally not villainous” things before busting down the door to challenge his Gym. After buying a bunch of Moomoo Milks because they are surprisingly affordable for the time being.
I managed to reach Clay with no casualties. But then came our battle and immediately after his Krokorok used Swagger, he got a critical hit Bulldozer which Captain thankfully survived. I switched into Queen to handle the incoming Palpitoad and heal Captain back up. Queen then easily took out Palpitoad, but then came Excadrill. Which I’ve heard can be an end runner if I wasn’t careful - or at least I thought so. My main goal was to use Leech Seed and have Queen slowly take it out. After all, she resists most of its moves besides Slash. And I can switch into Captain if her HP gets too low. But thankfully Leech Seed secured the victory after using a hefty Grass Knot.
Another Gym secured with no casualties! I am so happy for my team. Queen and Captain really helped pull their weight. It might be because I get over prepared at times. Maybe a bit too much with items, but I feel like it's fair to use items. I headed to Route 6 and had a battle with Bianca. Not sure if I was supposed to do this before the Gym Battle, as all my team was around level 30 and her team was level 28. But she was easy to deal with.
Route 6 arrived so far all I am getting are Vanillites, which I use dupes to ignore for another. I understand it is because I am playing in winter so most options don’t appear. But I ended up running into a Foongus. A male one, who I decided to cheekily name Voltorb for the encounter. Never really going to use it right now but it shall hang out in the box.
Clay opened the way to Chargestone Cave and I got the TM Bulldoze. And I remember why I like Clay so much. Just like with all the other Gym Leaders. Oh, also N sent ninjas - I mean Shadow Triad - so we could chat. Here comes when N reveals Cheren is ideals, Bianca is truth and the main protagonist is somewhere in between. And it's kind of scary after N apparently walks off and teleports away then Bianca and Professor Juniper appear to explain the floating blue gemstone mechanic. I really miss stuff like this. I get the Lucky Egg and manage to find my encounter for Chargestone Cave - a Klink. Never got one of them before, so I nicknamed it Geartown.
After defeating more of Team Plasma I finally fought against N. We beat him no problem. I arrived in Mistralton City. Skyla had her little speech which led me to Route 7. On the way, Odette evolved into a beautiful Swanna. And I got my encounter as a double - with a male Watchhog and a female Cubchoo. I decided to go with the Cubchoo because I have found memories of my Beartic on my first one. Plus, if memory serves - a Beartic can learn some potential HMs. I named the adorable Cubchoo Snowball and she’ll rest in the PC until I need her.
Arriving at Celestial tower, I climbed up to the top and on my way caught a male Litwick. Decided to name Gracey after Master Gracey - neat Haunted Mansion reference because why not. At the very least, if Ramona faints before I reach the end I can use him. Or if the Modest nature on Ramona becomes too big of a problem to ignore. Plus Ramona also has Hustle as an ability. Though speaking of Ramona, she evolved into a Darmanitan. I reached the top and rang the bell. I really miss stuff like this. But a quick check of the PC revealed how both my Fire-Types have their natures lowering their respective attack/special attack. Whelp. Guess I have to wait and hope Reshiram will have a decent nature.
But now, I’m about to do something risky. I’m going to take down Skyla’s Gym at the same time. I already have a decent pick of Pokemon already prepared for this. Which hopefully, she won’t be too much trouble. By the way, what are the odds of a Trandquill getting off three Detects in a row? Just curious. There were no problems and with my confidence boosted so high in the sky, I challenged Skyla to showcase the power and potential of my Nuzlocke team. And I’d like to say, Pebbles and Zigzagzop clearly brought Skyla down to ground level.
Two gyms down a single update? I might be getting a bit too cocky, considering how N nearly spooked me as I exited the Gym. He wanted to chat with Pebbles - and seriously N, call Pebbles by her nickname and not Boldore. She takes great offense after defeating Skyla. He left about spouting about the Light and Dark Stones.
I plan to end things on this high note for the time being! I am only slightly considered regarding the next two Gyms. Brycen is Ice-Type, but with Ramona I feel okay with challenging it. But the bonus of Ramona getting Sheer Force now, I’m fairly confident in her performance. Though I may train up Gracey a bit, since I don’t think having Zigzagzop would be totally okay. My Zebstrika might have Flame Charge, but I don’t think it would help out as much as another Fire Type.
Though after that will come the final Gym Leader. Who I currently have is either an Ice or Dragon Type in my party. Meaning that Drayden could honestly kick my butt if I went with how I had now. *has flashbacks to his Gym Battle* His Haxorus is scary… I do, at the very least, have BananSplit and Snowball currently relaxing in my PC. I may have to plan to do some extensive level grinding to get up prepared for that challenge. If I don’t end up suffering any unsuspecting battles which end up taking out members of my team.
Maybe it is my experience with casually playing Pokemon and trying to keep a balanced team of Pokemon which has me pretty much not having any deaths so far. Though, I won’t be surprised if an upcoming battle decides to add a bunch into the death category. But for now, I played enough for the time being. Next time, I plan to at the very least challenge Brycen or hopefully get a considerable chunk of the way through to the eighth Gym. Not entirely sure if I’d be up to face Drayden - since I am playing Pokemon Black, which means no Iris fight.
But overall for my team, I can’t help but feel extremely proud of them so far. I knew for the later Gyms, Queen would have to practically be benched since Grass does not fare well against Flying, Ice or Dragon Type Pokemon. But she still carries herself well otherside of Gym Battles. Pebbles was definitely a surprise pick who I thought I’d bench her right after Lenora’s Gym. But this girl’s been proving her weight with her massive defenses enough where I want to keep her around. (And I swear if Pebbles dies, I will actually cry. She may not be able to fully evolve but I’ve grown attached to my rock). Zigzagzop was meant to be dropped after Elesa’s Gym, but he’s actually been proving himself with this latest Gym to keep around. I feel like he has a strong friendship with Pebbles considering I got them back to back. (Even with the funny Jaiden Animation reference.) Captain has been… well, I don’t really like his final evolution but having the Water/Ground typing makes him a good enough tank and Water-Type Pokemon to have on the team. Even if Odette is on the team. He might end up being Boxed, but it may just depend how things go. And Odette has already been showcasing why I needed a Flying-Type Pokemon on my team. Even if she is x4 weak to Electric. Even after fully evolving, she’s already showcasing her worth.
The only dilemma I have will have to be addressed soon. But I really hope even with losing Puppy and Fountain, I won’t have to say goodbye to anyone through a death. I expect to have to switch some out for the upcoming Gyms. Until next time though, which, I do plan to draw what my final team will end up being. And who knows? Maybe I’ll end up finishing the main story of Pokemon Black right on Christmas? Wouldn’t that be a treat?
Smell ya later!

Hi! It's me again :) I would like to request another Ash comforting Misty flashfic. This time I imagined Misty having a panic attack. Hope the idea appeals to you! And take your time, no worries :)
[Hah, perhaps unfortunately, after I received this request and gave it a whopping five minutes of thought, I suddenly felt really inspired to just go for it.]
She was floating rather blissfully in a pool of water. Small waves lapped softly against her, pushing her rather loftily to and fro as she blinked up straight into a bright sun that, despite it’s shine, didn’t seem to hurt her vision. A multitude of water-type Pokemon were swimming around her, some diving under or leaping over, just everywhere… and she accepted this rather passively even not knowing whose Pokemon they were or where they’d come from.
It was a rather pleasant dream overall… until it wasn’t.
What’s…?
Suddenly she was sinking down, the sun fading away, taking its light and - she assumed though she couldn’t say she felt it - warmth with it. The Pokemon, no more than vague shadows representing familiarity, had all but vanished except for one.
She was gripping her Staryu by its top point as it dove deeper into inky, cool abyss, leading her towards… something. She was looking for something, desperate to save it, but she could barely see her Pokemon plunging through its element a foot or two in front of her. How could she possibly find…?
What’s happening…?
Training instincts told her to conserve oxygen, but her lips flew open anyway as if trying to call out to her target. Bubbles and breath and a single word escaped her, in such clear articulation she knew it shouldn’t have been possible.
“Ash!”
She was looking for Ash, her best friend. He’d fallen from so far, so fast… He was sinking! Was he even conscious…? She remembered now, at least that much, but the anchoring question of why seemed impossible to answer at present. She had to find him!
Where was he? How much farther would she have to go? How could she possibly hope to find him in this blackness? And how far had she gone without needing to take a breath…?
And yet Staryu continued to faithfully carry her onward in their mission.
She had reached a peak of lucidity just in time for an object slightly larger than her hand to float hazily by. Without concern, she snatched it out of the murk.
It was a cap she had seen on his head near constantly in recent days, her heart plummeting in breathless fear and panic at the sight of it in her grasp and him nowhere in sight. She didn’t think about the insensibility behind calling out to him again.
“Ash!” The shriek of her own unnerved horror threatened to deafen her as well as her Pokemon. “Ash, where are you?!”
“Misty, wake up!”
Her eyes snapped open, wiry muscles rigid as a damp sheen clung to her brow and neck. Fists clenching tightly around her bedroll, she leaped into a sitting position, at this point realizing she hadn’t taken a single breath since waking, inhaling deeply in response.
“I… What…?” she whispered, vocal chords weak and throat dry. Craning her neck, wild gaze taking in her surroundings, she was met with Ash Ketchum and his partner Pikachu staring her up and down looking reasonable taken aback from beside her.
“Uh… you okay?” the young man asked after a few seconds, leaning a little closer. She couldn’t answer, fingers wringing their way around the hem of her sleeping bag at the mere question. “You looked like you were having a nightmare.”
A nightmare…?
“Pikachupi, kachu pika?”
“Y - yeah, we were worried. Glad you’re up now though.” And, looking slightly bashful, averting his gaze, Ash added, “It… kinda sounded like you were calling out my name. But…”
Almost any other time, the redheaded teenage girl would have read something into how flustered he looked at the thought of her dreaming about him. She also would have had the clear head to feel self-conscious over an Ash donned in nothing more than boxer shorts and a bandage around his scalp, which was currently the case. All the sight did now was remind her of…
“I think… about earlier…” she muttered, heart leaping up into her throat, stomach churning before icing over. “Or… I guess it was yesterday…”
“Oh.” It was hard to tell by the dim light of the low fire but his face seemed a little paler.
Yesterday, when Team Rocket had last attacked them. It had been all of six or so hours ago; barely dusk. They had used their tricks to steal Pikachu as well as Ash’s belt lined with the rest of his Pokeballs before taking off in their latest hot air balloon.
In her effort to assist, Misty had released Staryu to sabotage their escape but her precious water-type’s rapid spin had only been able to cut all of two ropes tying the villains’ basket to their balloon. One rope had been secured again by the Rocket gang and tied slipshod once more while Ash, in furious pursuit, had grabbed the other one before they’d lifted too high from the ground, immediately carried up and away with them.
Misty had seen him try to climb it while she ran to catch up, seen also Team Rocket’s collected anger and alarm as they attempted to shake him loose before Jessie had released one of her own Pokemon to force the teenage boy to let go.
Ash hadn’t much chance at evading; it was hard to do so when he was busy trying to keep his grip on what was steadily becoming a literal life line, Pikachu calling out to him from where he was trapped a good twenty or so feet overhead.
Even from her slowly increasing distance, Misty heard the blast that was Jessie’s Gourgeist releasing their seed bomb. The attack descended, exploding as it approached her friend. Ash was shouting, slipping, flailing, a second explosive impact and he was suddenly falling from the sky as her heart stopped–
No more playing softball!
He’d hit the body of water that had (luckily) drifted below him with a sickening smack on his back, sunk quickly below the surface. It all happened so swiftly.
Gyarados appeared in a familiar flash of red and roared, his trainer commanding him to immediately leap and bite through Team Rocket’s balloon, tearing the fabric instantly and disabling the criminal trio’s getaway. So violent, so much, so fast.
In the meantime, Misty grabbed a hold of Staryu, inhaled deeply and held it, both diving to search for their friend… So dark… So gone… So quickly…
“Hey, are you okay?” Ash abruptly asked her, voice sounding distant and hollow, reverberating in her eardrums, the sound challenged by her roaring, pounding heartbeat.
“I…”
“Misty, what’s wrong?” He sounded a little more anxious now during round two, and she was surprised to vaguely notice his hand around her wrist, though she couldn’t feel it for some reason.
“I don’t…” She couldn’t breathe, response reduced to a throaty gasp. Her throat was coated in plastic and suffocating. Her skin was burning from cold somehow, she needed water–
–he was sinking so deep down–
–and air–
–holding her breath, but she would top out after one hundred and eighty seconds max and how much time had passed already–
–sweat was pouring from her forehead, her neck, she was either numb or aching, on fire, her gaze vacant, and it scared him if he was being honest–
“–Misty, what’s going on–?”
“Pikachupi!”
–where was he, where is he, how big is this place… his hat is in her free hand, her grip on Staryu stiffening, she would have to sacrifice the hat if, or when, she found him–
–so many times, this had happened too many times already since knowing him, what if she doesn’t get to him quick enough, what if he–
“–Hey!”
His shout was enough to momentarily clear her head. Perhaps he was able to sense that fact because he took advantage, and Misty felt the shocking impression of cool hands resting firmly against her flushed cheeks. Then the two were eye to eye and her wave of despair and doom and panic briefly subsided.
“Listen, Mist, you’re not there, you’re here. Pay attention to me right now!” he told her forcibly, and she felt him tug a little uncomfortably, her neck yanking, so she wouldn’t lose focus. “Look at me, okay? Can you do that?”
She could barely hear him, gaze flickering between the fire light glowing in his eyes to his fringe and lashes, to his cheeks… It was all him though… She could… She could do this!
“You need to take a breath! C’mon, we’ve got this, just do what I do, look,” after which he did indeed lead by example. She watched his chest rise and fall, his eyes fluttering momentarily closed and lips pursed barely open as he exhaled.
She gurgled and choked, blinked away the white hot tears at the corner of her burning eyes, halfheartedly shook her head in defeat.
“It’s okay, c’mon, we’ll try again together, now in through your nose,” he coached her, slowly initiating his own attempt and waiting until he heard her copy it before moving on, “and then out through your mouth… You got it!” he applauded her, “Okay, and again… Let’s do it a few more times…”
It seemed forever and yet also instantaneous for the symptoms to subside, and she did what she could to bear in mind what Ash was saying and doing to tether her to the present.
“–take a breath–”
His hands on her cheeks…
“–Pay attention to me right now–”
His shoulders rising and falling…
“–we’ll try again together–”
His face overtaking her vision, mere inches from hers, collarbone connecting to his bare chest…
Ash wasn’t sure what emotional response was most prevalent a few minutes later when his redheaded friend, still trembling a little but no longer writhing and choking, maneuvered to cover his hands with her own, both pairs now held against her cheeks. Part of him was pleased, it seemed to be her first conscious and calm move since… whatever had happened. Another part of him was loath to admit how flustered he felt as her somehow inconceivably soft fingers splayed over his own rougher ones.
“S - so… what happened?” he had the nerve to eventually ask her, though he could still barely look her in the eyes. Her current object of focus was Pikachu curled up in her lap while she patted his short fur coat. The teen boy noticed it offered a pleasant distraction, all things considered.
“Dunno,” she croaked, cleared her throat, tried to elaborate. “That’s… never happened before that I know of. It’s like… I was having that nightmare, I think it was based off what happened… y’know, yesterday… But then I couldn’t stop thinking of it… Then I was feeling it, like it was happening all over again, and I was… thinking of you, losing you…” She didn’t give the flush on her cheeks the chance to settle, continuing with her description. “Y’know, you worry me too much, Mr. Pokemon Master!” she finished rather harshly, faltering in her grounding activity.
“Mwah, wait a sec, now it’s my fault?!”
“Of course it is, you dummy! I mean, you shouldn’t have done that! We would have gotten your Pokemon back eventually! We always do!”
Rather than risk a rebuttal that would lead to another panic attack, he stared her down before heaving a deep sigh and relenting.
“Sorry… It’s second nature by now.”
She thought about asking him if he meant his self-sacrificing nature or worrying her to near death but decided against it. They’d been through enough by now and it was only roughly three in the morning!
“Y’know Ash, I can admit after all the time we’ve known each other… that I really like the kind of person you are,” she iterated almost affectionately instead, “You’re passionate and considerate, at least when you wanna be,” she made a point to add. “But sometimes… I really wish you’d take a little better care of yourself. Every time something like… like yesterday happens… I worry it’s the last time I’ll ever see you.”
The… last time? he thought, not quite understanding immediately what she’d been getting at… Oh, there it was. He hummed under his breath, brow furrowed, had gotten to the point of opening his mouth without a clue as to what he’d say before she interrupted him.
“Well, if there’s anything I know for sure it’s that there’s no changing you… so I guess for now at least I’ll have to do my best to support you.”
“Oh. Yeah. Thanks.” The response was so simple but he honestly had no idea what else he could say. Perhaps it was something for another time.
“I mean, after your help earlier, I guess I owe you, right?”
But Ash was briefly overwhelmed by the flashback of his regaining consciousness with blurred vision on the hard ground the evening before, head aching and blood dripping from his temple, Misty kneeling over him soaking wet and shaking from the brisk chill, practically crying even as she smiled in relief at the sight of him coming to.
His gratitude and… something he couldn’t quite place swept through him and swelled up, filling every ounce of his person as he took in the sight of his best friend sitting at his side.
“Please, Mist,” he told her peaceably in utter confidence, “it was the least I could do for you.”
[There were a couple details i left out because of the word count limit. Ash was down to boxers because he didn’t plan ahead, simple as that. His only outfit was soaked after falling into the water so yeah, it’s meant to be air-drying. Misty is fully dressed because she did plan ahead. Lol. Ash also received some cuts and stuff from the minor explosives and Pikachu escaped his cage when Gyarados attacked TR’s balloon, after which he rescued his trainer’s PokeBelt from them. Just in case anyone was curious. As for Misty’s panic attack timing, I felt that the adrenaline rush in the moment would keep her from falling prey to it so that’s why it takes place hours later when she has time to think. As for how Ash helps her control it, he’s instinctively offering her deep breathing and grounding techniques which - if you’re unfamiliar - are pretty basic mental coping skills.
Also a few unrelated things: Please do not just like this story! If you had a good time reading, I implore you to share this and help me spread the word about this blog! I haven’t received many requests lately, only one every 6-15 days! That being said, if you have a fic request, please send it in! I have 1 or 2 in my inbox and a couple others in drafts that I’ve started but I could use some more prompts if you’re interested in me writing for them!]

✿ BNHA Pokémon Teams ✿
I’ve had this idea for awhile, and I had a lot of fun creating these teams. I didn’t do that many characters but I will definitely do more later. Also, I’m not a stellar team creator nor are these teams necessarily meant to be very good for competitive play. That said, I tried to add some variation to each through typing and movepools. And if you have suggestions or alterations feel free to send them my way! (also, if you play pokemon showdown feel free to play with me and actually try going up against these teams if you want to! that would be fun!)
Neito Monoma:
Tumblr media
I think you can see my inspiration for this team. Monoma copies quirks, his pokemon copy abilities and moves. There’s not much to say about this one. Any pokemon with mirror move or something similar could also replace a pokemon here.
Denki Kaminari:
Tumblr media
I thought galvantula would be an interesting part of the team because of its typing, and it also suits Denki’s vibe in my opinion. Jolteon and Ampharos are both great electric types with pretty good movepools in my opinion, so I had to give him those two. I also couldn’t not give him Pikachu. I tried to cover their weaknesses a bit with ice and water moves, as well as moves like extreme speed and volt switch (because having three pure electrics really opens you up to pokemon with a type advantage). Rotom is great because of its levitate and Magneton’s typing in hindsight isn’t ideal, so I might exchange it for another pokemon.
Ochako Uraraka
Tumblr media
I kind of don’t like how pink her team ended up being, but I don’t think it’s too bad. Overall, I tried to emphasize how Ochako picked up some martial arts skills, with a little bit of a nod to her quirk. Wigglytuff just suits her cute but tough nature, and it is also known as a balloon pokemon. I chose it over jigglypuff because it’s stronger, and I personally like it more hehe. Mienshao probably seems like an odd choice, but its appearance and typing fit the vibe I was going for so I thought it would be a strong addition to the team. Jumpluff, despite not having levitate as an ability, does float. Besides being cute, it’s pretty strong, and it does have a pink shiny, so if you prefer her team be very pink then it’s ideal. The remaining three have that fighting type or move thing going for them and some pink in their designs. Medicham’s “pants” also remind me of her hero costume.
Mina Ashido:
Tumblr media
For Mina’s team, I wanted to go for (another) a very pink aesthetic, but bolder and more colorful. I took a lot of inspiration from her dorm room as well. Of course, I also wanted to represent her acid quirk so I chose a few poison types too. Vileplume is a solid poison type that is girly and captures Mina’s essence. Munna is basically the same, but it has more pink. Aromatisse has the fluffy quality of Mina’s hair while fitting the aesthetic and adds variety to the team. Nidoking is not only a poison (and ground) type, but its colors resemble Mina’s hero costume and it’s a strong pokemon. Both Drowzee and Ariados are meant to be shinies, as they’re pink. Ariados has the bold pattern, the poison, and the pink. Drowzee adds variety while suiting the almost psychedelic nature of this team.
Katsuki Bakugou
Tumblr media
This one was pretty straightforward. Bakugou’s burning passion and bold personality suit the fire and fighting types in terms of appearance and figuratively. First is Primeape, who I own in a couple games and have named Bakugou when I realized how much it suits him?? He’s very spirited and angry and his hair is fluffy; it’s a perfect match. Next, some fanart of a pokemon x bnha crossover made me realize how much Typloshion’s design resembles Bakugou’s hero costume and vibe so I add. Blaziken is an excellent fire type, and its dual typing brings some edge. Magmortar’s arms remind me of Bakugou’s gauntlets. Incineroar is pretty self explanatory, and Talonflame just added a good variety. I didn’t want to just add all the mainstream fire types so I thought Talonflame gave a nice unexpected edge to the team.
Shouto Todoroki
Tumblr media
I knew I wanted to have both Ninetales on Todoroki’s team, because not doing so was just unthinkable. Alolan Sandslash I’m kind of iffy on, because it seems too obvious, but I do think it really suits Todoroki and his icewall tendencies. Volcarona was chosen because I didn’ t want to choose another obvious fire choice and because its typing adds variety (plus its design incorporates some blue and white). Weavile is a fast and strong pokemon with an interesting typing, and kind of suits that edginess of Shouto’ s character. Lastly, I was having trouble because I gave Bakugou so many great fire types, but thought Delphox suited Todoroki and had a good dual typing. Also, this was unintentional, but I like that the first three are all light colored while the latter three are all dark/bright despite being of both types on each side - I think that also really suits Todoroki.
Kyoka Jiro
Tumblr media
I’m not the most confident about Jiro’s team, but I did have a concept going in. I wanted her pokemon to have sound moves, and/or suit her aesthetic. Exploud is one of the pokemon I’m convinced she should have. I know her quirk isn’t present Mic’s, but she’s also a rocker, so while really intense sound can damage her ears, she’s used to louder than average volume. Next, I really wanted a pokemon with sing on her team, but jigglypuff/wigglytuff was taken and doesn’t suit her at all. Because of that, and perish song, I thought Lapras was a solid choice that also adds variety (I know I’ve said this a lot but it matters when building teams, trust me!). With Audino, you might be thinking, how does it fit in when jigglypuff/clefairy/etc don’t? First of all, the little curls hanging off of its ears are very similar to Jiro’s earphone jacks and it’s called the Hearing pokemon. It also has moves like Mega Voice, and its shiny is purple (plus, we know Jiro has a soft, caring side and Audino does well to represent that). Next is Electrode, who I added mostly because of its typing and ability to use screech but it’s not the most compelling choice. Noivern is probably obvious, but it has the sound and aesthetic elements so it’s perfect. Lastly, Toxtricity - that one’s also obvious.
Tsuyu Asui
Tumblr media
This one was very fun to make! The frog pokemon are obviously nods to Tsu’s quirk. Politoed was the first pokemon I knew had to be on her team because it’s a cute frog like her. Poliwrath is a dual type that is very strong. Sealeo is inspired by her internship work. Greninja’s dark typing makes the team more interesting and it of course suits the team concept. Ludicolo was originally gonna be Lombre, because the lily pad resemblance was more obvious, but Ludicolo is stronger and I think Tsu would appreciate its dancing as cute. And Lickitung, of course, has a long tongue like Tsu, and is the only non-water type.
Tenya Iida
Tumblr media
Finally, Iida’s team! You can see that I really prioritized speed for his pokemon. I couldn’t just give him the top 6 fastest pokemon because that would have included legendaries/mythicals and I didn’t want anyone to have one on their team. So I gave him several very fast pokemon. Ninjask and Swellow speak for themselves. Bisharp is not as fast, but it has a unique typing and its appearance bears some resemblance to Iida’s hero costume concept. I know I used electrode again, but I was struggling to think of a really quick pokemon that also suited Iida, so it’s subject to change. Skarmory is fast, and it has his hero costume’s vibe. Finally, Linoone isn’t quite as fast, but it does have the move extreme speed and the ability quick feet. Plus it helps balance out the team a bit.

Pokemon: Century Version
1.3 - Integration II
[first] [previous] [recent] [teams]
“I can’t belieeeeve,” Taako moans, lying on his back on his bed, head not even up on his pillow. His new eevee is standing on his chest as he pets it.
“I cannot believe!” Lup parrots, pacing up and down the room. Her eevee is playing around with her raichu at the side of the room, darting up and down beside the wall.
“All the damn work we do to keep off the higher-up’s bad side and here they are insulting us. Like we don’t already have teams planned for this mission!”
“God, they’re adorable, though. I hate this.”
“They’re cute as hell.”
“I’m naming this one Gingerbread. You hear that, Gingerbread? You have an adorable name and could get away with crimes.”
Her eevee looks at her and squeaks.
Taako rolls his eyes and looks at the eevee on top of him. “You don’t get a name. You’ve gotta earn it.”
“Just admit you can’t think of a good one,” Lup says.
Taako scoffs. His eevee purrs at him.
“You sure these things aren’t cats, Lulu?”
“I don’t know. Taxonomy’s a bastard.”
--
The IPRE’s massive greenhouse is a place where the department’s grass-type pokémon frequently roam free, but Davenport finds Merle’s party all gathered around the dwarf.
He approaches the party briskly. Merle and his Ludicolo are leading the rest of his pokémon--along with a few tagalongs Davenport doesn’t recognize--through a dance exercise. Given that most of them are quadrupeds, the dance doesn’t translate very well, but the instructors still cheer the rest along without hesitation.
“I’m glad to see you’re getting your eevee acquainted with the rest of your party.”
“Hey, Skip! Take five, everyone.” The pokémon halt at Merle’s command, except for the ludicolo, who keeps dancing to an unheard tune. “Yeah, it’s goin’ well! Kid’s got moves.”
The eevee climbs up the ludicolo’s arm as it dances, perches on its shoulder, and sings/squeals along to the swaying movements.
“I came to ask about evolving it. Lucretia has asked me to put in a request for an Ice Rock sample, and I want to confirm with you about getting a Moss Rock piece as well.”
Merle squints. “Why?”
“Well, forgive me for presuming, but I thought you might be inclined to evolve it into a leafeon.”
“Oh,” Merle says, but the confusion doesn’t leave his face. “And what’s the Moss Rock got to do with it?”
“That’s…how an eevee evolves into a leafeon, Merle,” Davenport says.
Merle laughs. “An eevee doesn’t need a stone to evolve!”
“It’s not a--”
“Rock, stone--whatever, man! Eevees evolve through exposure. Positive experiences in the greenhouse will get this one to evolve into a leafeon, if it wants to evolve at all. Just like an eevee living by a volcano will grow into a flareon whether you give it a fancy ol’ Fire Stone or not.”
Davenport crosses his arms. “Alright, so no Moss Rock? And you’re sure it’ll evolve before the mission?”
“If it wants to,” Merle says noncommittally.
“Well, that’s good. Let’s not be in the business of forcing anyone to evolve.” Davenport shrugs. “Alright, I won’t keep you from your, er, dance lesson any longer.”
“Wanna join us?”
“Ha. Maybe next time.”
--
“This is Big Boof,” Magnus tells his new eevee. The arcanine sniffs at the small, new arrival.
The eevee shakes as its face comes close, whining. After a few moments, it falls over altogether.
“Oh no!” Magnus reaches out to help it stand back up. “You’ve got some jellylegs, don’cha.”
The eevee squeaks. Boof sits back when Magnus waves at it, giving them some space.
“D’you mind taking a break? The newbie’s a little nervous--we’ll work up to you!” Magnus says. Big Boof looks disappointed, but it obliges when Magnus holds out a pokéball.
Some time later, there’s banging on the door to the dorm room. It startles Magnus’ rockruff and eevee out of their play, and the eevee almost falls over again.
“Hush!” Magnus shouts as he runs for the door, taking wide steps over the paper scattered in the main room. “You’re scaring the baby!”
He opens the door to Lup. “Oh! Hey.”
“Hi!” Lup says, stepping into the room as soon as Magnus moves out of the way. “How’re things going with your eevee?”
“Better before you nearly knocked the door down! What’s up?”
“Oh, sorry. Is Lucretia here?”
“Nah, she has a late class.”
“Aw, lame.”
“That’s what I said when she was picking out schedules last year! But she says lots of seminars and stuff happen around noon, and she kept missing them ‘cause of class? So…”
“Still.”
“Yeah.”
Lup crosses her arms. “So, you named your eevee yet?”
Magnus leads her past the painted papers and back into his room, where Lassie is still trying to coax the eevee into playing again. “I was thinking Jellylegs? Is that anything?”
“Oh, that’s cute!”
“Right? What about yours?”
“I’m going with Gingerbread.” Lup tosses a pokéball, sending her own eevee out into the fray. Its sibling and the rockruff immediately come over to sniff at it.
“Aww!”
“I know.” Lup says. “Is your rockruff trained not to hurt friends with its neck?” she asks, watching carefully as the three pokémon hop around each other.
“We’re workin’ on it,” Magnus says. “It knows to stop if someone acts hurt, though.”
--
A knock sounds on the lab door. “It’s unlocked,” Barry calls out, his hand not pausing in its scribbling.
The door creaks open, and Lucretia peers through. “Hello.”
“Oh, hey! One sec, I’ve gotta…” Barry writes increasingly incomprehensible scribbles into his notebook as he tries to speed up, and then drops the pencil with finality. “Sorry, writing, uh, reactions to…” he catches himself before he launches into an explanation. “...Stuff. What’re you, uh, what’s up?”
“I thought it would be good to have my eevee battle another at its own speed. Unfortunately, none of my pokémon are both small and patient enough for that.”
“Ah, so you wanna pit it against its sibling instead?” Barry says mockingly, raising an eyebrow.
“Oh, please.” She rolls her eyes. “But yes, I thought it might be good for them.”
“No, yeah, that’s actually a great idea,” Barry says, fishing in his bag for the right pokéball. “You wanna do this now?”
Lucretia holds up her pokéball in affirmation. “Let’s act like it’s a regular battle? So they learn how they’re handled.”
“Sure thing… I choooose…” Barry finally recovers the correct pokéball from his bag and tosses it forward. “Goldilocks!”
“You already named it?”
“Yup. You haven’t?”
“Well, kind of…” she throws her own pokéball. “Eve, come out!”
“That’s gonna be weird when it evolves.”
“I knowwww. But nothing better came to mind, and now it’s stuck.” She raises an eyebrow. “And Goldilocks is going to be just as strange unless you end up with a Jolteon.”
Barry shrugs. “Got me there. Byte, what’s the expected moveset for these guys? Eevees, three weeks old.”
The rotom dex beeps a few times, then says, “Tackle. Growl. Tail Whip.”
They wait a few moments, but it says nothing else. Barry chokes back a laugh. “Arceus. Is this what it’s like when you start a journey?”
“Little more exciting,” Lucretia says with a smirk. “Speaking of, these two are getting antsy.”
The eevees are fidgeting and squeaking at each other, unsure of what to do without orders. But it seems they’ve at least been trained in battle behavior, more or less.
“Hmm,” Barry says. His eevee twists around to look at him. “Well. Growl?”
It lets out a little rumbly sound that might well be a purr. Its opposing sibling’s hair stands on end as though it suddenly grew horns.
“You growl right back,” Lucretia says, and her eevee obliges, making Barry’s step back with trembling hind legs.
Barry stares at them for a few moments, and then he looks at Lucretia, deadpan. “Growl.”
Her eevee reacts just as dramatically as the first time.
“Oh no,” she says. “Oh, you’re not winning this. Growl.”
His eevee staggers to the side, unbalanced by the forced weakness.
“Growl.”
“Growl again.”
“Annnd growl.”
This time, mid-growl, Barry’s eevee sneezes. Lucretia’s jumps nearly two feet in the air and lands with its hackles raised to the sky.
Barry and Lucretia break down laughing. “We can’t,” Lucretia wails. “Oh my god, this battle’s literally never going to end.”
Barry’s voice breaks as he tries to respond, “W-We can just--let’s just call a truce and use Tackle--”
“No, no, we’ve been growling for a minute straight, do you know what growl does--”
“Oh my god,” Barry says, a new wave of laughter coming with the realization. “Holy shit, the attacks are gonna do nothing.”
“Do you ever think about the consequences of your actions, Barry Bluejeans!”
The eevees are chittering and hopping below them, unsure of what’s going on but clearly enjoying the happiness in the room.
“Okay, okay, okay, wait, we can fix this,” Barry wheezes, and he points at his eevee. “Tail whip.”

Forever Endures (3)
Gosh, this took me so much longer to get to than I planned. But I did want it released alongside my fanfic chapters, so it works out.
If you need a refresher, part one is here, and then, part two is here!
This is the third and final part of my three-shot series, which explores a little more behind the relationship for two characters in my Pokemon fanfic, Alakazam and Machamp.
For the story here, they’re finally in their final stage evolutions, and they’re also together...! That part happens in the fanfic proper, Melting Gelid Roses. However, that story has its primary focus on another particular couple and the events that they get involved in.
More or less...this is just very self-indulgent shipping shenanigans. Please feel free to join me, though, as it’s a pretty cute pairing!
It’s a bit lengthy, just so you’re aware. When you’re ready, just check below the cut for the story. Enjoy reading!
[Iceberg Palace]
Just in front of the crystal palace itself, a muscular, four-armed warrior stumbled aside as a salamander knight surged from the water, and spiraled at him with katars. He slammed a sword against the bridge they dueled on, and twisted around to swipe at his opponent, who flipped back into the water.
“Bye, Machamp…” The salamander murmured as he splashed below.
“Quagsire, you’re not beating me at this,” called Machamp. “Water is nothing that I can’t handle.”
“How about a sudden blizzard then?”
Jolting up, Machamp pivoted around as an elegant white spirit flew up into the sky. She winked to him, spun away, and forced her arms forward, as howling winds followed. Snow, hail, and ice rode the drafts as Machamp lifted his arms to shield whatever little he could.
A light flashed before him, however, just before the winds brushed him away. In another flash, he stood further down along the bridge, and blinked as he watched the gusts from a distance. His robed savior twirled a spoon in one hand, and brushed his mustache with another. Rolling her eyes, the ghost flew toward them.
“Alakazam, that’s just cheating,” she complained. “You can’t just…Teleport away from a storm.”
“Ah, and yet I can, and so I have,” teased Alakazam. He smirked up at Froslass, who lowered her eyes. “Didn’t take the wind from your sails now, did I?”
“Don’t ever use that line again.”
“Apologies.” He chuckled. “The opportunity presented itself, and I seized it.”
 “Seize this.”
Lifting her arms with a dark purple energy coating thing, Froslass brought both together. Water came from below the bridge and wrapped around Machamp and Alakazam, forcing them together and locking them in between it. Dark aura flickered against the hand-shaped water, and Froslass grinned.
“Ha, no good when you can’t disappear, is it?” She giggled and drifted lower to the pair. “Now kiss, mwah!”
 “You’ll only encourage them.”
Froslass spiraled around as Quagsire ambled over to her. She groaned and rolled her eyes.
 “How do you do that?”
 “Do what?”
“Sneak up on people!” Froslass swayed in the air. “You’re so…I don’t know, quiet!”
“Just don’t draw in a lot of attention,” guessed Quagsire. “You might want to focus, though.”
 “Huh?”
She blinked as Quagsire pointed past her, and Froslass spun around. She gawked as Machamp pushed the water from him and Alakazam, who grabbed onto him, and teleported them from the crushing tide.
“That’s not possible!” Froslass swept the water away, and glared at where the couple had been. “They…they can’t just…that was imbued with Ghost magic!”
 “So was I.”
Froslass twisted back, as Machamp waved his hands, each cloaked in a deep purple glow that slowly faded. Alakazam lowered his arms, his spoons flickering with the same color.
“Psychics are weak to Ghost though!”
“Doesn’t mean we can’t borrow a hex or two,” taunted Alakazam with a smirk.
“Oh, that’s true. That was pretty clever.”
“Don’t compliment them, Quagsire.” Froslass glared at the pair. “They cheated.”
“Care to define magic again, Froslass?”
 “Shut up, Alakazam!”
She flew over to him, but Machamp stepped in front of him, raising his swords and swiping at Froslass.
With a yelp, she floated back, evading his first strike, but fell as he slashed again.
Water burst from beside Machamp, as Quagsire tackled into him, knocking his swords back with his katar. He stumbled back as Quagsire dove back into the water, and slipped at the tip of the bridge.
As Machamp flailed his arms in the air, he blinked, staring behind him at the water. He looked back up, as Alakazam guided him back onto the bridge.
“Thanks!” Machamp grinned. “You’re the big hero for this match!”
“It’s mostly self-preservation, but thank you.”
“Nah, even if we’re together, helping me counts for selflessness.”
“Ugh.” Froslass buried her head into the bridge. “You’re both so…cute. Just stop already.”
 “You’ll have to make us.”
 “Gladly!”
Firing up from the ground, Froslass shot into the air, and drifted back. Quagsire poked his head from the water, and gazed up at her, as dark energy swirled around her.
“Prepare to fall before the mightiest mage alive!”
 “Who’s that?”
“Me, you jerk!” Froslass scowled at Alakazam, who smirked at her. “Come on, at least try to make this a little serious.”
“To the contrary, I prefer not to.”
Water burst from beneath her, and Froslass glanced down, as Quagsire rocketed up at her. Smacking into her, both yelped and plummeted back down toward the bridge and water, their weapons falling from their hands.
 “Do something, Quagsire!”
 “Um…”
“Thinking doesn’t help, react! REACT!” She blinked. “Wait, I can fly.”
 “Levitate.”
 “Shut up and hold on!”
Spiraling, Froslass grabbed onto Quagsire, and the two spun around as they came lower. She lifted a wave of water below, as Quagsire twisted them around, enveloping the pair in the wave.
Together, the two launched a combined jet of water at Alakazam. He forced his spoons up, but Machamp jumped up, grabbing the pair as they flew forward.
Gritting his teeth, Machamp skidded back against the ice, as he locked against the bridge, sliding back into Alakazam, who lifted his arms to Machamp’s sides.
With a roar, Machamp flung Quagsire and Froslass back into the water, both crashing down with a splash. He panted and wiped his brow, as Alakazam drummed on his sides.
 “Something wrong?”
“Not in the slightest.” Alakazam trailed his hands up Machamp’s sides. “Just enjoying the view and then some.”
“Hey, come on, we’re trying to fight here.” Machamp leaned back and winked at Alakazam. “You can enjoy me later.”
“Oho, a lovely offer.” Alakazam leaned up to Machamp. “But I’m always enjoying you as it is, so you’ll need a special offer with that—”
A heavy burst of water splashed out as Froslass shot up, holding Quagsire in her arms. She glared at the couple on the bridge, while Quagsire waved to them.
“Let’s pick that up later,” decided Machamp. “But, ah, since your arms are already around me, might as well make it worthwhile.”
 “With pleasure.”
Lifting his spoons again, Alakazam scooped orbs of energy into Machamp’s hands. Froslass spun around and launched Quagsire at the pair first, and followed with a powerful wind burst.
Charged with energy, Machamp forced his palms forward, and blasted Quagsire back, knocking him into the water once more.
Holding Machamp, Alakazam teleported away from the wind surge, which crashed against the bridge. They reappeared once more, as Froslass seethed.
Pulling her arms back, she fired a barrage of icy stalactites down on the pair. Machamp pulled back his fists, but Alakazam pushed past him, and spun his spoons around.
Creating a wheel of fire, Alakazam telekinetically lifted it, burning away Froslass’s follow-up attack.
She gawked as Machamp lifted Alakazam up, and helped him raise the fiery wheel. He guided it up to Froslass, who lifted the water below to douse the flames.
“That’s just not fair,” complained Froslass. “And this is all totally impractical.”
“Entirely,” agreed Alakazam. “We’ll never have the concentration for this.” He shrugged. “But, it’s still fun.”
“Yeah, but I’m getting tired from it,” admitted Machamp. “Can we finish this up?”
 “Of course, love.”
 “Wait, what?!”
Alakazam teleported with Machamp again, and they reappeared above Froslass. Grabbing her, Machamp forced her down, as Alakazam teleported again.
Together, they appeared just above the bridge, as Froslass was slammed onto it. She groaned and flopped out.
Machamp spun Alakazam around, as he fired a colorful ray at the rising water, blasting Quagsire as he rose up. As he crashed into the bridge, Machamp dragged him back up, and Alakazam blasted him back once more.
Quagsire jumped up, coughed, and slammed back down to the ground.
 “…Can we yield now, Froslass?”
“…Yeah, sounds good.” She waved her arm around. “We surrender.”
“By now, I should hope so,” teased Alakazam.
“Yay, we won!” Machamp scooped up Alakazam and hugged him. “That was great!”
“Of course.” Alakazam hugged Machamp back. “Together, we’re a powerful force.”
“And a cute team too,” murmured Quagsire, as he pushed himself back up. “You two know how to move as one.”
“We’re getting used to it again.” Machamp chuckled. “We could still use some practice.”
“You just had it,” joked Froslass. “And crushed it.”
“Ah, if you guys think so.” Machamp shrugged, and slipped away from Alakazam. “Ok, we better go put these weapons away.”
Machamp reached to grab his sword, but Froslass swept in and scooped it up. He blinked and watched her fly up before him, giggling with two more swords in her arms.
“Actually, Quagsire and I can clean it up ourselves,” insisted Froslass. “Punishment for losing or whatever.”
 “Uh…are you sure?”
“Mm, it’s fine,” agreed Quagsire, carrying his katars and one of Machamp’s swords. “Bed should be after this anyway…”
“Yeah, I’m just going to, ah, read over some new hexes that I wanted to study,” tossed out Froslass. “And to bother someone else, like, um…Weavile! Yeah, her.”
“Oh, ok.” Machamp smiled. “Well, thanks you two!”
“No problem!” Froslass winked. “And you two take care! Have fun!”
She erupted into a fit of giggles as she floated away, and Quagsire smiled as he waddled after her. Machamp scratched his head with an upper arm, and glanced back at Alakazam, who tugged on his mustache.
 “What’d she mean by that?”
“Who knows?” Alakazam shrugged, shifting his eyes around. “Froslass loves to joke around, almost always.”
“You know I can tell when you’re lying,” reminded Machamp. “Your heartbeat has a specific rhythm with it.”
“Stupid fighter chi sensing techniques,” grumbled Alakazam. He folded his arms while Machamp placed his lower hands on his hips. “Ok, fine! Maybe I mentioned to her that we were looking to do something after practice.” A slight blush crept onto his face. “Alone, together. Just us.”
“Ha, you don’t have to treat it like something special,” joked Machamp. “We spend a lot of free time together anyway.”
“Except today is special,” insisted Alakazam.
“It is?” Machamp thought for a moment, and then smacked his head. “Oh, bloody blazes, today’s not the day we met, is it?”
 “The very one.”
“Ah, gods forgive me, I forgot again.” Machamp groaned and buried his face in his hands. “I swore up and down I was going to remember every time after I last forgot.”
“Funny enough, you remembered to the day when we weren’t on good terms,” teased Alakazam. “You had little gifts that you tried to give me, and—”
“Ok, ok, yeah, I did better last year for sure,” admitted Machamp. “Things just kind of slipped from my mind, I’m sorry.”
“Machamp, it’s all right,” soothed Alakazam. “I’m just teasing you.”
“Yeah, but today’s really important!” He grinned to the mage. “I don’t know where I’d be without you in my life!”
“Who knows?” Alakazam sighed. “I’d probably be dead.”
“Don’t talk like that!” Machamp picked Alakazam’s hands up into his lower pair. “I don’t care if that’s what was probable, you hear?”
“Sorry.” Slipping his hands from Machamp, Alakazam reached up and caressed his lover’s face. “I just…I’m really grateful that we met, because you gave me so much.”
“And you’ve done everything you can to give it right back, so, that’s fine.” Machamp took one of Alakazam’s hands and kissed it. “But we’re here now, so come on, what should we do for the rest of today?”
“To be honest, I didn’t quite have anything special in mind.” Alakazam shrugged. “All I need is to spend it with you, so…we can do anything.”
“Well, I could use some relaxation from that practice,” decided Machamp. “So, how about we take a dip in the onsen?”
“Hot springs?” Alakazam chuckled. “We’re going to melt in there some day.” He rested against Machamp, tapping his chest. “But I’d like that too, so, yes, let’s.”
“Great! Let’s go get changed, then.”
 “Right away.”
Wrapping himself around Machamp, Alakazam teleported the two away from the bridge. They reappeared outside of the bedchamber halls, as Alakazam brushed his head and deeply exhaled.
“Don’t keep teleporting like that,” scolded Machamp. “You’ll kill yourself like that.”
“Oh, it’s fine.” Alakazam wiped his head again. “I haven’t…used it to the…limit yet.”
“Well, quit pushing yourself.” Machamp rubbed Alakazam’s back. “We should have a fun evening, so let’s take it slow.”
“All right, as you wish.” Alakazam heaved. “Ah…maybe I did overdo it…”
“Do you want to rest for a while?”
“We can rest…together, outside,” insisted Alakazam. “Go on, go change.”
 “Ok.”
Stroking Alakazam’s cheek and mustache, Machamp smiled to him, and turned away to his room. Alakazam chuckled, touching his cheek, before retreating into his room to do the same. He closed the door behind himself and steadied his breathing.
“Anyone would think that I’m the only one between us to worry so much,” softly joked Alakazam. “Gods, I love him.”
Undoing the ties for his robes, Alakazam let them fall from his body, and tossed them onto his bed. He stripped from his underclothes next, placing them out as well, and then he opened his wardrobe.
“Hm…which color would he want me to wear…?”
Sorting through his swimwear, Alakazam plucked out a black pair. He smirked and put them on. Glancing at his mirror and posing a bit, Alakazam chuckled before grabbing a towel and turning away.
As he ambled off to leave his room, Alakazam glanced back once more, looking inside of it. He curled his hand over the doorknob, and tapped his foot.
“Maybe we should consider choosing one room and sharing,” he quietly pondered. “I wonder which he’d prefer…” Alakazam shook his head. “It’s still early on, and we’ll have time to decide later.”
He closed his door and strolled down the hall. Machamp opened his door, spotted Alakazam, and grinned. Waiting in the doorway until Alakazam came close, he rested his upper arms on the doorframe while flexing a bit with his lower arms. Alakazam laughed and folded his arms as he stood before his partner.
“Ready to go, or are you just going to goof around the whole time?”
“Aw, come on.” Machamp slid one of his hands down the door, suggestively lowering his eyes. “Doesn’t any of this entice you?”
“All of it does every day, so, yes.” Alakazam laughed as Machamp deflated. Clearing his throat, Alakazam tapped his chin, and matched Machamp’s tone, “But, I do enjoy you wearing less and propping yourself up for me.”
“Just lead with that next time.” Machamp stuck his tongue out at Alakazam, whose eyes wandered down at his white swimsuit. “Aha, there we go! My eyes are up here, don’t you know?”
“Yes, but that looks a bit tight on you.”
 “That’s the point.”
 “Ah.”
“For someone so smart, you tend to miss a lot of cues,” teased Machamp. He slid from his doorway and pulled the door shut. “Maybe I ought to be more obvious about them.” He smirked as his arms slid around Alakazam’s shoulders, trailing down near his waist as he passed by. “Unless you like it when we play it cool.”
“Well, I think I’m fairly flexible.” Alakazam tugged on his mustache as Machamp beamed to him. “Don’t.”
 “Why not?”
 “We’re in the hall.”
 “Bed chambers.”
 “Machamp.”
“Ok, ok.” He shrugged and strode away from Alakazam. “Doesn’t have to be a bed.”
“Oh, that does it.” Alakazam charged after Machamp. “Come here!”
“Just remember that you started this!” Machamp jogged away from his boyfriend. “If anything, you brought this side out of me, so you can only blame yourself!”
“Fine, but you could’ve ended it at any time!”
“Now what fun would that be?”
They rushed through the hallways, racing down a flight of stairs and whipping around corners, passing the palace portraits and sculptures.
 Alakazam gained quickly upon Machamp.
“You’re not fast enough to outrun me!” He reached out to Machamp.
 “No, but I am stronger!”
Spinning around, Machamp scooped up Alakazam and carried him onward, cradling him in his arms.
 “Hey!”
 “Hi!”
 “Put me down, Machamp!”
“Aw, don’t you like it up here by me?”
“Come off it,” grumbled Alakazam. “I’m not that much shorter than you.”
“Maybe not, but you’re small and light enough to fit in my arms,” pointed out Machamp. “So, you’re easily whisked away…!”
“Don’t sound so happy about it.”
“But I love carrying you around.” Machamp lowered his eyes and smirked. “Besides, you’ve got the advantage over me, and you could get away any time you want.” His beam broadened as Alakazam blushed and looked away. “Well…?”
“You don’t need to be so smug about it.”
 “Sounds like someone’s enjoying himself!”
“A bit.” Alakazam returned his attention to Machamp, who cocked an eyebrow. “…Ok, a lot.” His lips bubbled into a smile. “I like being spoiled, I admit it. Satisfied?”
“Not yet, but that makes a good start.” Machamp leaned close to Alakazam. “You still have to spoil me some.”
 “Naturally.”
 “Oho—”
 “Don’t push it.”
Grinning still, Machamp slid open the door to the towel room. Alakazam wiggled a bit in his arms, but Machamp kept him hoisted up, simply gathering a few towels for them both, and setting them aside for later.
“Are you going to let me down yet?”
“Hey, I never want to do that again!”
“…Was that meant to be a joke—?”
“Yes.” Machamp sticks his tongue out. “You need to keep up with me.”
“Well, you’re keeping me up, so it works out.”
Machamp laughed while Alakazam smirked and leaned back into his arms. Carrying him outside of the room, Machamp and Alakazam gazed upon the hot springs.
Stepping by the edge of the water, Machamp glanced over, with a playful smirk crawling onto his face. Alakazam shifted his attention between his lover and the water, and then frowned.
 “No, no, don’t do it.”
 “What?”
“Don’t drop me in.” Alakazam slouched. “Please.”
“Aw, I’d never.” Machamp paused a moment and his smirk lifted. “Well, maybe with a normal pond or lake.” He chuckled. “But here, no, and especially because you asked nicely.”
 “Just for that?”
 “Manners matter.”
Setting Alakazam down, Machamp dipped his feet in, letting them into the water. He grinned as his shoulders fell, and with a happy sigh, pushed himself into the spring. His delighted moans got Alakazam to jump and quickly slide into the water right after him.
 “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing!” Alakazam inhaled and exhaled, sinking into the spring. “Just…wanted to join in…”
“Uh-huh.” Machamp leaned closer to Alakazam and lowered his eyes. “So if I reach down a bit over here—”
“Do it and I’m dunking you.”
“Come on, it’s just us out here,” teased Machamp. “You can lighten up with me.”
“We’re not lightening up by lightening the single articles of clothing that we’re wearing, Machamp.” Alakazam tilted his head back. “Remember what happened last time?”
“Oh, come on, Carracosta didn’t mind.”
 “And before that?”
 “Mienshao should’ve knocked.”
 “And before that?”
“Emperor Empoleon usually finds the time to go out on his own! How were we supposed to know?”
“Gods…” Alakazam shook his head, and propped himself against Machamp’s arms. “At least feel a little guilty.”
“Over bonding with you?” Machamp snorted. “Never.”
“Ha, that’s…” Alakazam shrugged. “Ok, I’ll let it slide.”
“Great!” Machamp reached down, but Alakazam tugged his hand back up.
 “Not that.”
 “Spoil sport…”
“Well, think of it this way,” suggested Alakazam. “If you want just that, you could always go find that Fire fellow from before.”
 “Oh no.”
“Was he a chicken? It’s been a while, I can’t remember.” Alakazam smirked. “But in that case, you could have a real—”
“Ok, ok, you made your point!” Machamp dipped lower into the water, with only his head remaining above it. “I don’t want to go over that.”
“Sorry.” Alakazam scooted closer into him, sinking in the water beside him. “I was just teasing; trying to make light out of something that I blew so far out of proportion.”
“Let’s just leave it as something that we worked past, huh?” Machamp pecked Alakazam’s cheek. “It’s an important day, so let’s get back to that.”
“Night by now,” corrected Alakazam as he pointed to the sky. “But you’re right.”
“Ooh, you know what?” Machamp bobbed back out. “How about we talk about some things that we want to do with life down the road? We’ve spent so many years together, so let’s talk about future stuff!”
 “Like what?”
“I didn’t think it out that far.”
 “Machamp…”
“Give me a second!” Machamp drummed at the edge of the spring, while Alakazam rose up beside him, leaning against the ledge as well. “Um…how about…what we want next most in our lives? Or what we could do to make it more gratifying?”
 “…Is this going back to—?”
“No!” Machamp groaned. “Look, I’m trying to figure out what to give you!” He sighed and flicked at the ground. “I didn’t get anything for today, but I’d like to work on what else you want from me.”
 “Just you, that’s fine.”
“Thank you, but I mean like what else you want from life with me!”
“Mm…I don’t know.” Alakazam traced a circle around on the ground before him. “Being with you makes everything feel complete.”
 “Seriously?”
 “Of course.”
“How’s your life fulfilled by just being with me?” Machamp raised an eyebrow. “I don’t define you.”
“Perhaps not entirely. And I do suppose that we could have lived our lives entirely separate, never known one another, and been none the wiser, but still content.” Alakazam shrugged and smiled. “I suppose that, by having you with me for so long, my life has become that much more enriched.” He rested against Machamp and stroked his face. “With you, I feel like I’ve become a better version of myself than I could ever achieve on my own. And having you gives me something that adds to my purpose, my being, my core. This eclipses any thought of a life without you, and that somehow makes the notion all the more frightening, because you’ve given me so much that completes me.”
Machamp gawked at Alakazam, as the latter’s hands slid from his face. He scooted back and rested in the water.
“Maybe that could be overstating it, but that’s what I feel.” Alakazam scratched the side of his head. “I’m not sure if you entirely under—”
Alakazam had two hands scoop his face up, as two more pulled him close. Machamp pressed their lips together, and tightly held his lover against him, softly caressing him as he deepened their kiss. Soon, Alakazam brought one hand back to Machamp’s face, as the other wrapped behind his neck, and the two sank into each other, still kissing. They broke apart to breathe a bit, but only came together again, and again, until they pulled away once more, just barely, panting for more air.
“So,” managed Alakazam, “that was a…suitable explanation, then.”
“Did you think all of that through, or was it just roll off the top of your head?” Machamp rubbed Alakazam’s cheek. “Where do you even come up with such beautiful words for me?”
 “I read a lot.”
 “Uh-huh.”
“What?” Alakazam poked at Machamp. “You think I don’t read enough trashy romance novellas?”
“They’re not trashy, they’re cute.” Machamp grinned. “You make the cutest noises when you’re really into reading one.”
“No, don’t talk about my second-hand excitement!”
 “But it’s adorable!”
“Ugh, stop…!” Alakazam sank down into the water. “I’m a complete fool.”
“If you’re a fool, I don’t want to know what that makes me,” joked Machamp. “You’re too smart for me.”
“Hey, hey, no putting yourself down again.” Alakazam popped back up and rested against Machamp’s chest. “Come on. You’re plenty smart enough to keep up with me.”
 “Most days.”
“Every day.” Alakazam drummed along Machamp’s shoulders. “That’s like me telling you that I’m not strong enough for you.”
“Yeah, that’s definitely not true.” Machamp lowered his eyes and smirked. “We proved that a few different ways.” He raised an eyebrow as Alakazam lifted his hand and pinched at his cheek. “Ouch! Hey, quit it!” Machamp groaned as Alakazam dropped his hand away. “Ok, I deserved that.”
“Yep.” Alakazam folded his arms. “Can’t we bring up something cute about you?”
 “Aw, you think I’m cute?”
 “We’re dating, so, yeah.”
 “Oh.”
“Don’t give me that.” Alakazam nudged Machamp. “I’ve only been hopelessly attracted to you since we met, more or less.”
 “We were kids.”
 “So?”
“You didn’t know that was a crush,” teased Machamp. “Little you just wanted a good friend, and I caved to give you that.”
“What? ‘Caved?’ You wanted to be my friend!”
“Ha, yeah, I did.” Machamp winked to Alakazam. “Maybe we’ve both been into each other the whole time after all.”
“Oh, now you agree with me.”
 “Yeah!”
 “Ugh.”
“It’s worth considering,” conceded Machamp. “After we left that cave, we stuck together, and we were always fascinated by each other.” He chuckled. “And you thought I was strong back then!”
“How was I supposed to know you’d bulk out even more?” Alakazam sank back. “Some of us have radically different evolutions.”
“Are you going to whine about your lost tail again?”
“No!” Alakazam flicked at the water. “…Maybe…”
“And you’re making fun of me not getting over things,” joked Machamp. “Look, the tail was cute, but I’m perfectly fine around you without it.”
 “…Are you being sweet or—”
 “Just go with sweet, please.”
 “Fine.”
“Yay!” Machamp smooched Alakazam on the lips and brushed his mustache. “Besides, this getting longer was a nice trade-off.”
 “How?”
“It’s fun to play with.” Machamp beamed. “Especially with my lips.”
“What, my tail wasn’t?” Alakazam smirked as Machamp gawked at him. “That’s your one for the night.”
“Bu…but that’s not fair!” Machamp scooped Alakazam closer into him. “I was too dumb to do anything with you before!”
“Not dumb,” insisted Alakazam. “Though…I might give you a tad oblivious.”
 “Knighthood made me that way.”
 “It was preparation for it.”
“Whatever, I was distracted.” Machamp sighed. “I should’ve gone past our first kiss and told you everything that same night at the manor.”
“Don’t, it’s fine.” Alakazam kissed at Machamp’s neck. “We’re together again, and everything worked out, didn’t it?”
“After taking too long, yeah.” Another kiss and Machamp contentedly exhaled. “Ooh, how long can you do that for?”
 “Want to find out?”
“Mm…maybe later,” suggested Machamp. He flexed his upper arms. “Maybe you could give me a massage too.”
 “Sure.”
 “Wait, really?”
“Yes.” Alakazam winked. “I like getting my hands all over you.”
 “Wh…what—?”
“That’s the second, so be grateful.”
“Can’t you just be happy spoiling me some too?”
“Please.” Alakazam leaned closer to Machamp. “We both know that I’m going to—”
Machamp leaned in and kissed Alakazam, who blinked. They parted and he raised an eyebrow at his boyfriend.
 “What was that for?”
“Because I knew where that was going.”
“Ah, right.” Alakazam rested against Machamp, lowering his eyes as they smiled to one another. “And here I thought you just liked the feel of my lips.”
“Oh, that too, definitely.” Machamp poked at Alakazam’s nose. “Plus that. And your mustache.”
 “Ha.”
“They all feel nice and soft.” Machamp flicked at the spring. “Better than me.”
“Firm and tight muscles, big lips, and four arms.” Alakazam grinned. “Personally, I think I’m getting the better deal out of this.”
 “No way.”
“Absolutely.” Alakazam sighed. “You do attract a crowd.”
“Don’t want them, though.” He wrapped his lower arms around Alakazam’s waist. “All I want is you.”
 “Mmm…definitely sweet.”
“You know, you never did tell me what else you wanted in life.” Machamp gazed down to Alakazam. “Besides being with me, what else do you want to do? We’ve still got some years ahead of us, right?”
“…I really don’t know.” Alakazam shrugged. “We spoke of those legends and mysteries that we wanted to explore when we were young. So…I suppose we can look into them later on.”
“Nothing personal for you, though?” Machamp frowned. “I became a knight, and you a mage, but that was to stay with me. So…what do you want?”
“We’ve still got time, right?” Alakazam softly smiled. “I can figure it out. You can help me. We’re usually a good team like that.”
 “Well, of course, but—”
“Don’t worry about it for now.” Alakazam cuddled closer into Machamp. “As long as you stay with me, I can think of something.”
“That makes it sound like it’s distracting when I’m not with you,” teased Machamp, smiling a bit.
“Since my mind wanders into wondering about you, yes, it’s completely distracting,” joked Alakazam. “You need to stay around me, or I’m doomed.”
 “Oh, now you’re being dramatic!”
“Not entirely,” quietly admitted Alakazam. “…I…don’t like being without you. Ever.”
“You never will be.” Machamp kissed his head. “I’m going wherever you want whenever you’re ready.”
 “Honestly, there’s no need—”
“If I’m your boyfriend, there is absolutely a need,” insisted Machamp. “Especially if there’s more to come from that!”
“More…?” Alakazam blushed and pulled back from Machamp. “Is that a proposal already? I thought we were waiting.”
“Wait, what?!” Machamp’s face burned a deep red, and he scooted back against the spring’s edge. “Ha-hold on a second! I-I wasn’t…I just meant more time together—”
“Calm down,” soothed Alakazam. “I’m just teasing.”
“Oh. Uh, yeah! I knew that.” Machamp glanced away as Alakazam chuckled. He surveyed around the spring, but went right back to Alakazam. “But, um. We will get married some day, right?”
“Huh?” Alakazam’s blush deepened. “Well, we, uh, we’re trying to see if we want that, you know.”
“Yeah.” Machamp smiled and lowered his shoulders. “But…I don’t have anyone else that I’d rather.” He sighed as Alakazam gazed up to him. “Not that we need to, you know, get married or make a big deal of it. I just—”
 “Like the idea?”
 “Yeah…among some, um. Other things.”
“As do I.” Alakazam slowly smiled back. “It’s…probably inevitable, but we’ll see as we go along, of course.”
 “Yep, you’re right.”
“…Would this be a bad time to bring up dreaming of it?”
“Not at all, because I’ve done the same.” Machamp smirked. “Especially lately.”
“Oh…?” Alakazam rubbed his face. “Tell me more.”
“Don’t press me like that,” teased Machamp. “I have to keep some surprises.”
 “Mm…that’s fair.”
“But you know what’s going to be part of the theme?”
 “What?”
“Some big banners that say, ‘together forever, forever together.’” Machamp beamed as Alakazam’s eyes lit up.
“Absolutely, please! Let’s get those!” Alakazam wrapped his arms around Machamp’s neck. “Together forever. You promise?”
“Definitely.” Machamp kissed Alakazam, pressing their lips tightly together, but dropping apart, a bit overheated. “And this time I’ll mean it and stick with it.”
Alakazam laughed, and cuddled closer into Machamp, who pulled him as close in as he could. They chattered a bit longer, discussing the future that awaited them.
Together was something they planned to be, forever.
...
...
...
Goodness, I miss my line breaks. Now this story is going to seem so different with its footnotes. Bleh, oh well.
Yay and hooray, Machamp and Alakazam have cute plans for themselves as a couple! They’re very adorable together, and things feel so nice being that way.
Unlike the previous two entries, this one simply explores the relationship between the couple, and doesn’t really delve into past events, as we’re all caught up by this stage of their dating period. It’s simply to share their time together, along with their hopes and dreams of the future.
It’s also something of a swan song, I suppose.
Anyway, not much more to be added on, since that’s the wrap up. If you’ve enjoyed this couple, then you’ve joined me on this ship, and I’m glad that we can sail for this lovely couple!
Oh, and if you’re interested and didn’t check the links above, and/or you’re not quite versed on these stories, here are some related picks:
Forever Endures (1) - The first of this mini-series, showing the origin of Alakazam and Machamp when they were Abra and Machop!
Forever Endures (2) - The second of this mini-series, which closes in on Alakazam and Machamp as Kadabra and Machoke, as they plan for a future that might lead them somewhere different.
Inferiority Complex - A separate one-shot that involves both Machamp and Alakazam, though it goes over some insercurities they have instead!
Melting Gelid Roses - This is the main source of my Pokemon fanfic shenanigans, and heavily features Alakazam and Machamp midway into the story, as they slowly become a couple.
That’ll do it for this one. As always, thank you so much for reading! I hope you’ve enjoyed it all.

Best Team For Pokemon Insurgence (Part 1)
This is part one of the best team for pokemon insurgence. I will be talking about 3 of the members. Last time I did the best starter. Enjoy and I did a video on this so check that out at the end if you don't feel like reading.
Marowak is found in Telnor Cave. Can handle the first gym. While it will struggle versus the grass types you will easily defeat the fire types in the first gym. However, Ivysaur will be a real nightmare. However, it only has the move sludge so it's not like it can hit delta venusaur too hard. Now the next gym despite having weak types like bug and poison. However here is where our marowak, where it will actually be fully evolved, shines. The reason why it shines is because it can take on mega beedrill. It can also take on heracross and shuckle. This team truly needed an early ground type. However in this best team that’s really the only thing marowak was needed for. However after this gym it is not completely useless. This pokemon actually compliments delta venusaur really well. One gym that delta venusaur struggles with. The flying type gym leader has a talonflame that delta venusaur could struggle with, but marowak could handle it especially if you stumble across some rock coverage before the gym leader. There is an electric steel type gym leader in this game and delta venusaur, as you would imagine, does not handle this gym. Now Marowak would completely body this gym. The only pokemon it struggles with is rotom wash. However delta venusaur might have energy ball by this time so you should be able to easily take care of this pokemon. After this it doesn't perform too well against the last two gym leaders. Now when looking at the cults the types are interesting. Obviously you lose to the water type, I believe it is called the perfection cult. Dark and flying you don’t really need to worry about because delta venusaur has us covered. I want to talk about the elite four but in order to do that I’m first going to need to talk about marowak’s mega. . That’s right in this game marowak is capable of mega evolving. It also gets a very broken ability in parental bond. If you don’t know this allows you to hit twice on any move. This can guarantee you will break many sashes and destroy a lot of pokemon. This mega is a complete improvement over regular marowak. You have more special defense, defense, and attack than before. While mega venusaur will be our primary option throughout the game. Now onto the elite four, mega marowak will be very good in the first and last elite four fight. For the baton pass elite four you will completely own this elite four now that you have ghost stab. You will be very good against Espeon and slowbro. Hitting twice will most likely guarantee a kill on slowbro. You can also kill smeargle because you will break its sash then kill it on the second hit. Also you will kill blaziken before it starts speed boosting and destroys you. For the last elite four mega evolution is optional. You are slower than the elite four’s morwak when they mega evolve but I don’t really think that would help. You will definitely be able to kill mega reuniclus and prevent trick room setup to a minimum. For the champion you don’t do much. Now you do learn shadow sneak so that could help in finishing off some pokemon that will probably be left on low health. For Moves I gave it:
Shadow Sneak
Phantom Force
Bonemrang
Rock Slide
Tumblr media
Hawlucha is next. This pokemon is available on route 9. You get this pokemon at the perfect time. Right before the steel-electric type gym. This means you will have a strong fighting type pokemon to take on this gym. While you are part flying type you can either beat the cpu with marowak or you could launch some super strong high jump kicks. In the water gym you will be useful in taking out heliolisk, marowak can’t because it has surf and if rain is not up then you can easily take out kabutops. In the dark gym hawluch a will also be able to hold its own easily. In combination with mega venusaur taking out this gym will be very easy. With the cults you can beat the dark cult and some members of the cult that uses fire, ground, and rock type, I’m sorry I forgot the name. The real reason hawlucha is on this team is because of what it is able to do in the elite four. So far in this best team the middle members of the elite four didn’t really have any good answers. Hawlucha provides us with that. When looking at the sandstorm elite four members you can body 3 out of the 6 members. These are tyranitar, cacturne and excadrill. Tyranitar is a really good one to defeat because it is one of the sandseters on that team. For the ice type elite four you are weak to the type but at the same time you demolish it. While there are certain members like delta trevenant and starmie that you really don’t want to take on, our next member will easily be able to take care of them. Now onto the champion fight. You can destroy tyranitar which is a bigger deal in this battle because it is wearing armor. Also it has no real good attacks to one hit ko you with besides giga impact so you could even set up on this pokemon. Now your fighting stab will help you take out two major threats. These are choice specs kyurem, which is very strong, and delta haxorus. We can’t use morwak because the haxorus has a shuca berry. Hawlucha can also take on delta volcarona if you set up with it. Hawlucha, like a lot of pokemon on this team play very small but important roles. Hawlucha is on this team over other fighting types because it can have the unburden ability and it has a very high speed tier. Also you get it just at the right time during your journey. For moves I gave it:
Swords Dance
Flying Press
High Jump Kick
Steel Wing
Tumblr media
Delta Typhlosion is next. While I am happy I finally get to put typhlosion on a best team it is not here because it is a typhlosion. When looking at this team and the matchups they still struggle against I found out a certain type combination would really help this team .That type combination is electric and steel. Before we get to that I want to tell you guys how to get this pokemon. Delta Cyndaquil is found in the Satellite corps. While this sounds simple it is not a wild encounter. You have to complete a puzzle in order to obtain it. For now I am going to assume you obtain this pokemon in the main game and I really hope that it isn’t post game. If it is then someone please tell me in the comment section below. Anyways if we get it at level twelve then that will be before the first gym. This is the answer to those grass types that morwak and delta ivysaur won’t be able to handle. Now when looking at the flying type gym leader this team has trouble fighting skarmory. By this point in the game we will have a delta typhlosion. Since it has electric stab it will easily be able to take out that skarmory. You are a steel type, so the next gym, which is fairy type, will stand no chance against typhlosion. The steel gym isn't really in your favor but if you really need to use typhlosion you can go ahead and do it. When you fight the psychic/ghost type gym leader you can put in some work versus some of the pokemon. Specifically sableye, cresselia, and even gothitelle. However they all have calm mind so if you don’t kill them quickly you could become set up faughter. Now let’s look at the water type gym. Here you will absolutely shine. This pokemon as you would guess will do great. You will be able to defeat manaphy which is very important, politoed which is the primary rain setter on the team, so killing that would be amazing, and kabutops. If you send delta typhlosion out against kabutops keep in mind that it does get low kick which is super effective against typhlosion. Since typhlosion is steel type you will do very good against the ice type elite four. You will be a great answer to starmie and all the other ice types on that team. You can also put big dents in the baton pass elite four team and destroy certain pokemon on the trick room team. In the final battle typhlosion is really good because you can easily take on delta volcarona and when you are fighting the insanely powerful shadow mewtwo can effectively switch into psyshocks and ice beams. However, it is important to note that it does have flamethrower. Delta Typhlosion is good in the midgame but it overall serves a very niche purpose. Regardless it is a pokemon that will help you in so many matchups. For moves I gave it:
Flash Cannon
Discharge
Energy Ball
Thunder Wave

Pokemon AU
Chapter 2
~
I walked behind a small group of trainers, one had a small Whismur. Another one had a Grotle, a very strong one by the look of it. I smiled, these trainers are going to be taught a lesson. Marcel is one of the strongest gym leaders, even if you're just starting out. If they stay, they'll learn what teamwork and bonds look like in a battle. Once they entered I slipped inside and took a seat. The first one up to battle was the one with a blue hoodie. I watch as they exchanged names, the one in the blue was Jonathan. I watched as he sent out his only Pokémon, a small Popplio. When they started the match Jonathan showed that he had little experience in battling. As he was quickly beaten by the weak Snorunt. Jonathan still showed no knowledge of battling as his Pokémon was taken by a nurse, so the Popplio was the only Pokémon on his team.
“Popplio is unable to battle, Marcel is the victor!” the ref yelled.
Next up was the trainer with the Whismur, his name was Craig. They wasted little time to start the fight, and he lasted much longer. But his small Whismur, or Sparky, was stopped in his tracks. Battling in the cold is dangerous, you have to make the battle quick, and if it goes to long you and your Pokémon are in trouble. Craig now sat beside Jonathan as they watched their third friend walk up to fight. He was Bryce and had a Torchic, yet it was weak and wouldn't be able to win. When he started to order his Torchic to use fire moves, they were weak and barely effective to the Cubchoo. And as soon as the battle started it had ended. He had lost from his lack of knowledge on the field. The last one up was the one with the Grotle, and his name was Arlan. I instantly knew that this was a fight worth seeing, it was going to be close. And it started slow, but it didn't matter. Arlan and his Grotle are a team, and they intend on showing that.
“Ironwood use Bite!” Arlan ordered as Grotle charged at the small Snorunt and got off a small bite, “Dodge it then use Absorb!”
Ironwood followed Arlan’s orders flawlessly, well at least for their skill. The Snorunt soon fainted and a small Snover was sent out by Marcel. Arlan grinned as he ordered Ironwood to use Toxic. I was surprised to see that Arlan’s Grotle knew Toxic. Arlan and Ironwood now have the upper hand in this fight. Bites were exchanged as the fight continued, but they were now close to the end of the fight. I was on the edge of my seat when the fight ended. Arlan had won a very impressive victory if I say so myself. I got up from my seat and made my way to my side of the field. Arlan looked at me with a confused look, so did Marcel. Arlan took a seat with his friends, who watched me like a Braviary.
“Hello sir, are you a challenger?” Marcel asked with anger still lingering behind his words.
“I am,” I smiled as I gripped Joule’s Pokéball lightly.
“Well, what's your name sir. I don't want to battle someone without a name,” Marcel commented with a laugh that seemed a bit bitter.
“I’m Brock. Once I get your badge I will have gained all eight badges. Badges that took a strong bond and time to get. So I’m here to challenge you, may the best trainer win,” I smiled as I took Joule’s Pokéball off of my belt. Marcel took one of his Pokéballs and threw it with a small toss. It released a Froslass, I released Joule in front of me.
“An Ampharos? Is that really the best Pokemon to battle my ice Pokémon? Like it's so small!” Marcel laughed as Joule let static flicker from his jewels.
“I wouldn't talk about Joule like that, he doesn't like that,” I laughed, Joule got in position for this battle.
“Froslass use Icy Wind!” Marcel shouted as I lightly leaned to left.
Joule dodged the attack, then with a little movement from my hand, Joule used Dragon Pulse. I relaxed my muscles as Joule did the same, he released his anger by using Thunder. Marcel got angry at the fact that his Froslass became paralyzed. Marcel's Froslass had trouble getting off a move, all the while Joule and I had no problem dodging and attacking. With a few more Dragon Pulses, Froslass was unable to battle.
Marcel returned Froslass to her Pokéball and released Walrein. At first, Joule and I went easy on the Walrein. But when Marcel told Walrein to use Rollout, Joule and I went full force after narrowly dodging Walrein’s attack. But with a quick Thunder Walrein was sent back into their Pokéball.
Marcel sent out an Abomasnow, and with a Blizzard, Joule became frozen and unable to move. Thinking fast I balled up my fists, one of Joule’s fists began to heat up. Marcel's Abomasnow was about to use Wood Hammer, Joule raced against the clock. And with a second to spare Joule’s first melted the ice around it and hit Abomasnow. The Abomasnow stumbled back giving Joule enough time to escape the ice. Joule used Dragon Pulse followed by a Fire Punch, sending Marcel into shock. I realized that I was swaying with Joule as he dodged the Razor Leaf. Joule used Fire Punch, which went through the Razor Leaf and hit Abomasnow. Abomasnow fainted and was replaced by Glalie. Glalie used Crunch and made Joule flinch. Glalie was able to get off a Freeze-Dry. Joule’s speed slowed from the attack but became stronger, Joule used Power Gem as it was super effective to the ice type Glalie. Glalie became unable to battle and an Avalugg was brought into play. Without warning Marcel’s Avalugg use Skull Bash, a move neither Joule and I expected.
Joule got away with a close call, but the move still hit. Joule ran back to my side but stayed on the field of battle. And with a charge Joule used Thunder, stunning the Avalugg and then used Power Gem on it’s back. Yet Avalugg stayed standing because of its Sturdy ability. Avalugg used Ice Fang but was too slow to catch Joule. Joule kept dodging the ice type attack and with a small weak Dragon, Pulse Avalugg was out. As Marcel threw out his last Pokemon, Beartic, Joule took the Oran berry he was holding and ate it. Gaining his strength back, Marcel looked a little ticked off at our little play. But with a strong Blizzard Joule seemed to be losing this fight, but with the knowledge of knowing Joule couldn’t dodge this one. He ran and patted the Beartic, giving it a static shock. Marcel roared in anger as his Beartic was unable to move while Joule got off a weak Thunder. With a roar, Beartic used Hail, Joule and I dodged as many of the small pieces of hail. One then one hit Joule’s gem located on his head. With a low annoyed amph, Joule rushed towards Marcel’s Beartic. The Beartic was ready for a Power Gem but heat began to grow around Joule’s right paw. With a quick movement, a fist of flames made contact with Beartics stomach. Another punch came from nowhere, Beartic was dazed and collapsed on the field.
“Beartic is unable to Battle, Brock is the victor!” the ref yelled, Joule came running into my arms.
“I’m so proud of you Joule! Like I promised I’ll make you some of your favorite pokepuffs,” I smiled as I hugged him close, “Now let's get you patched up.”
“That was a great battle Brock,” Marcel smiled, yet happiness was not present.
“I know you hate the fact I won this battle,” I smile with a small laugh after I was done rummaging my bag for my medicine items.
“Fine, but here is your new Permafrost Badge. Hope you never beat the Elite Four,” Marcel smiled, turned and walked away muttering under his breath. His small Teddiursa followed close behind.
“That was amazing!” I turned to look at the bleachers where the other 4 trainers were watching. Jonathan was standing up, his hands balled up in excitement, and his Popplio on his shoulder. I laughed before I responded.
“Thank you! Your friend with the Grotle was great as well!” Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Arlan covering his face, probably in embarrassment.
“I know right!? We just left our hometown with these Pokemon and he has already evolved!” Jonathan was starting to bounce on his toes in his joy.
“Really? That’s quite the accomplishment!” I looked back at Arlan, Bryce standing next to him.
“Guys, you’re going to make him explode from all the praise,” Bryce said, patting Arlan’s shoulder.

Messed with my Switch date to get better weather in the wild areas that I can catch from before the Fire gym(south_lake miloch and dappled grove){Look it was Normal or Cloudy two days in a row and I didn’t want the wild areas piling up}. Got a female Vanillite in south_lake miloch, I name her Butter. Wanted a Female snorunt but hey rules are rules and its still an Ice type. My Dapple grove encounter was a Budew, Rules are rules(wanted A Stufful or Bounsweet).
Back to Galar Mine2, besides a timburr Not using a quad super effective stab fighting against Amp nothing happens. I considered swapping Peaches out for the Fire gym but my only option would be that chewdle and I don't think it would work(or more like not make a good difference.) I also check my current team on marriland.com and Ice is my only worry (♩Which should be handled once I get my Fire Gym encounter♫~). Outside the Mines I get a Noctowl, I name her Seer. Marnie challenges Guillo. First is Pan vs Crogunk, Bulldoze should work. Next is her Scraffty, I’m switching to Blight. Sharp-beak STAB Pluck handles scraffdy quick. Last up is her Mopeko, I'm going to see if Blight can do it but will swap if she goes into yellow. Bite flinces Blight and does too much damage for her to survive a third hit, Pan’s back out. Battle over so time to rest before Fire gym.
As stated previously and just above I saved my Motostoke encounter for this, and I know which Fire type Im going to be Grabbing(Look I count it but if anyone else has a reason to disqualify it I open to hear why, unless its ‘but you see the pokemon so its not chance!’ that's true for all 3 fire mons so I NEED to pick one.). Okay time to do this, over all Pan is my only Super effective attacker for Fire types but I feel it should go well enough. I go ahead and swap Peaches for Mezz the Litwick once I catch him. Now I'm going to need to catch a Second Mon for the challenge but I will but release it after the Gym. Hey, that Grip Claw from the mines will come in handy for Mezz’s FireSpin. Gym leader time, I'm scared but with Mezz in place of Peaches Stamp is my only member weak to fire. I'm leading with Pan for Bulldoze, see you on the otherside…
Okay its over, Both Ninetales and Arcanine went down easy with a bulldoze or two But his Ace was not going down. We Dynamaxed at the same time. I started with MAX strike to insure I was faster. But his GMAX attack both hurt and added Fire spin, getting rid of my plan to swap to Blight. When our Dynamax/Gigamax wear off I tossed Pan a super potion and after THREE BULLDOZERS We won. Oh hey, Pan is Evolving, I guess that's her reward for pulling us though. I'm planning/thinking of swapping her out for Tar the Stunfisk but I can always plop her right back at any time.
I'm going to see which Wild areas I can Catch from now and once down with my New encounters I am calling it a night. Motostoke-Riverbank,Bridge-Field, Stony-Wilderness, and Hammerlocke-Hills are required Encounters with there being a choice between Giant's Cap or Mirror. Watchtower is a female Duskskull, box. Motostoke-Riverbank is a Female Skorupi, box. Bridge-Field is a Female Noibat, Reserve team. Stony-Wilderness is a Female Ninjask, box. Giant’s Mirror is a Male swinub, Reserve team. And Finally, Hammerlocke-Hills is a Male stufful, Box. See you all next round/part/session.

How to Beat Cryogonal Raid Solo in Pokemon Go
The perpetual behavior of Pokemon Go to keep on including new aspects and events plays a significant impact on its success. The month of June is tending to be quite special for the game as well as the gamers because several new events and tasks have been added during it. Thus, now an individual raid battle has arrived which will grant the players a chance to catch rare Cryogonal.
The Pokemon is quite hard to catch because it is in the 3-tier raid. However, the new raid medium has also brought something in favor of the gamers, which is to not participate alone in the raid battle. This alteration has taken place after the addition of remote raid passes in the game. Thus, now the gamers have to take part in the attacks along with random players. However, there is no certainty about other gamers that they are going to help each other. Thus, below we have provided a proper workaround to beat Cryogonal in the raids in Pokemon Go. The whole process is a bit complicated, so we suggest our gamers read it carefully to avoid any mistakes.
How to Beat Cryogonal Raid Solo
Although, there are several other players available in the Raid solo still it is better to not rely on anyone. Thus, the gamers have to beat the Cryogonal alone without any help; for that, they must need to know about the weakness of Cryogonal. Here is the weakness of Cryogonal:
The gamers should use a Rock-type Pokemon because Cryogonal is vulnerable to rock moves.
The players should use a Steel-type Pokemon because Cryogonal is vulnerable to steel moves.
The gamers should use a Fire-type Pokemon because Cryogonal is vulnerable to fire moves.
The players should use a Fighting-type Pokemon because Cryogonal is vulnerable against fighting moves.
Besides, the players have to keep one thing in their mind, and it is to use their most potent Pokemon. The gamers who are new to the world of Pokemon Go can check the potency of their Pokemon through its CP. Alongside, the players also need to be aware of the time as it is kept on running. Some of the best Pokemon suggestions that have been shared all over the social media by veteran gamers to accomplish this raid easily are Lucario, Charizard, Blaziken, and Machamp. It is highly up to the players which Pokemon they choose. However, we recommend them to use legendary Heatran or Entei if they obtain any one of them because they are quite potent against the Ice-type Pokemon.
Conclusion
The article will help the gamers to know about the newly arrived Cryogonal Raid Solo of Pokemon Go. In this article, we have brief out the steps to easily beat Cryogonal to catch it through the raids. We do believe that gamers who have read this article will surely accomplish their purpose through it.
The gamers who haven’t obtained the gaming experience of Pokemon Go could start playing it on their iOS and Android devices.

Megaman 11 Review
Megaman has always been a game that I never really thought of playing but never really did because it just didn't seem like a game I'd like, but with Megaman 11 I got in like a Strange Family on Christmas. And with the multiple Difficulty Settings I felt like I was allowed without the Game Pushing me back with it's notorious Difficulty. This being my First ever playing of a Megaman Game, I decided to play on the Newcomer and even then the game was sorta hard with some levels, most likely because this is the first time I've ever played Megaman.
{WARNING} This review shows talks about The Mini Bosses, Stages, and Bosses in the Entire Game. You have been Warned
-Block Man Block Man is one of the best forms of showing all the options and wealth of Abilities you already have without beating the other Bosses. Not only do you have the Power Gear and Speed Gear, but you also have the Regular Mega Buster but you also have Rush Coil to get certain collectables that would be out of reach, just by that one inch. But This is one of the Things with Megaman, With every good thing a bad thing happens. Block Man's Level Design is brilliant and shows what to expect in the Future but with the Mini Boss it's so different from any other boss that it doesn't teach anything. But besides that We go to the First Boss and Holy Shit it doesn't feel like the First Boss. This feels like the 2nd Phase of Calamity Ganon of BoTW. Why does he go so big, Yes he is using the Power Gear but why does it matter if it doesn't show an actual representation of what it does and even then why is there no real force saying like "Hey Use the Power Gear to Finish the Fight Quicker" or "Hey use the Speed Gear to Get past the Objects being thrown at you!" The First Time fought Block Man I barely used the Power Gear. But the First Phase and The Last Phase feels like a Good Fight, however the 2nd Phase is Shit. And the Power Up you get OOOOOOOO it feels so Over powered when you first get it, even with the Power Gear it feels like something I shouldn't have or that I should have at the end of the game. -Acid Man Acid Man is just a Mediocre Stage, Terrible Boss, and a Shit Powerup. Like Holy Shit this Powerup is absolute Garbage, you basically always need to use the Speed Gear when using because Megaman puts up a shield before shooting, you'd think this is good but he's Vulnerable when the animation of him putting up the shield is playing, and even then the actual firing is slow and doesn't do a lot of damage without the Power Gear, And the Speed Gear needs to be Active so then You won't get hit! Why Give me the option to protect myself if I die before I can use the Ability? That Makes no fucking sense! And it doesn't help Acid Man because His stage is so Creative and Introduced in such a good way, but Why am I playing it if the Payout if Absolute Trash? And you don't even know the Powerup before you get beat Acid Man, Which If you play on Casual or Higher, it just feels like a Chore. And the Actual Stage Design is just filled to the brim with NES Era Horse Shit, even when playing on Newcomer. In Casual hitting Spikes is just a Cheap 1 Hit Kill. And Finally the Boss Battle...Who Made this? I'm Being Fucking Serious Who Made this? This Boss, is so Fucking Shit, His Attacks always hit if you aren't using Speed Gear, And he even uses Speed Gear Himself for his 2nd Phase and it's so Hard to Dodge, Acid Man is just NES Shit that I fucking Hate, you know when you're playing Mega Man and you think "This Stinks" THAT'S ACID MAN...jeez Fuck You Acid Man. -Blast Man Blast Man doesn't feel like he should be in a Mega Man game, he feels like he should be in a Universal Ride, like actually in a god damn ride. However his stage is sorta good with Powerups like Block Man are really effective on this stage and can be breezed by really quickly with Block Man's Powerup with the Power Gear. Even the Mini Boss feels like a Ride because IT IS ONE, HOLY CRAP THEY KNEW! Jesus that was an Amazing Mini Boss teaching you how to use the Speed Gear Effectively. Now to Blast Man, His Boss Fight is, Forgettable. I had to look up Blast Man on YouTube because I just didn't remember how his Fight went. However, his Powerup is anything but Forgettable. The regular Firing is just Useless and I've never used it without the Power Gear, and Jesus the Powerup with the Power Gear, It's amazing and is really useful for Future Bosses. Great Boss Fight, Ok Powerup, and an Alright Stage. -Bounce Man Bounce Man is such a strange thing, or man. It isn't even a man it's voiced by a Woman which is kinda Funny. But as Much as I want to call a woman strange but it's not because of that. The Stage is so different from anything else in this Game, this feels like what the game should've been. Block Man could've been a basic stage, Blast Man could've been Fast and Pushing you around with Explosives and then you could have the same experience with the Mini Boss and Blast Man Himself and Vise Versa with the other Bosses. The entire stage is filled with Balloons and you're forced to bounce on it, everything except the Boss..place? I don't Know. But God, Bounce Man's Powerup is one of the best in the game next to Block Man. Without this Powerup a lot of the Bosses wouldn't be as easy as they are. And Bounce Man has the weakness of one the worst attacks in the Game, Impact Man's Powerup. But other then that Bounce Man has an Annoying Stage but It can be Fun in some aspects but it can also feel like a Chore, same thing with the Mini Boss as well but nothing much to say in that Category. -Tundra Man Tundra Man has a Pretty Basic Stage, nothing much to say there although throughout the Adventure I'd normally barely use the Speed Gear NOW I use it way too much where I find myself slipping all the time into Pits. Good thing I played on Newcomer cause if I played on something harder (I am Currently in a Playthrough of Casual Mode, this Message for even Harder Difficulties) then I'd go fucking insane and through this game in the trash. I vividly remember the Mini Boss and Jesus, Why is Fire Weak against Ice? People complain about how shit the "Rock, Paper, Scissor" Mechanic is in Megaman games but HOLY SHIT, I just find it amazing that this Ice is the same Ice that makes Reggieice from Pokemon. And Jesus H. Christ! I LOVE Tundra Man's Personality! It reminds me of MTT from Undertale: So Elegant, So Fashionable, His Spinning Moves are the Moves of GODS. I wanna see Tundra Man again in later Megaman Games. -Impact Man Impact Man is really forgettable and very Frustrating your first boss fight with him. But after the first fight, He can be dealt with easily. The Mini Boss is just Piss, Mid way through my (Casual) Playthrough I defeated it in almost a Second because of Block Man's Powerup along with the Power Gear. And the Actual stage is like playing a Sonic 1 Water Stage, Mess up once: Go ALL the way back to the Bottom. Just An Annoying Man and I don't know why he's even a boss here. -Torch Man Torch Man is a Sick, Practical, and Horrible Joke made by the Nazi's, If you say this is a Good Stage and it teaches something, then you are Super Hitler Satan. The stage is just one big Chase. The Mini Boss is just the Fire Bird from Sonic Unleashed and The actual Fight is just PISS. And Torch Man looks like a JoJo Reject. Fuck Torch Man. -Fuse Man Fuse man is one of those Characters you sorta look at and say "Oh Shit." Just from a Glance of His Face you know it's gonna be serious. And Serious it is, The Stage looks like a  Batman Anime Intro: Dark, Serious, Gloomy, THUNDER! Great Stuff. Fuse Man's Stage actually feels like a Modern Megaman Stage, while the others feel like their a Grandfather hung over by too much NES Horseshit Crack, Fuse man always Looks, Sounds, and Plays like Something New, Thank You Capcom, Very Cool. The Mini Boss is...Meh, Don't feel like I should really say anything about it for some reason. Though What I will say, Is that the Speed Gear was Very Useful (When Replaying In Classic Mode) when I didn't understand the pattern. The Actual Boss fight with Fuse Man was something Brand New, Using the Speed Gear and it shows a very clear Demonstration of what the Speed Gear can do. And even using the Speed Gear yourself is the way you can clearly counter him. And it's overall just a very Fun and Different Boss Fight that feels like what all the bosses should've been.
-Misc. Everything that isn't already in the main game is extremely Boring and Very Forgettable. After playing the game for the first time I went to the Extra Modes and even going to the shop is very Forgettable and through my first playthrough I didn't even know it was a thing. It should've been somethin said through cutscenes or something ________________________________________________________________ {SPOILERS} This Part of Review shows off the Entire Last Part of The Game.
-Final Levels All the levels in Gear Fortress, The Final Stage Selection, is really just a Mini Boss Collection with the Iconic Yellow Devil and some weird Tentacle Monster. After that, We get to my Favorite part of the Game. Here you get to fight Every Single Man In The GAME. You get EVERYONE! Block Man, Acid Man, Blast man, Bounce Man, Tundra Man, Impact Man, Torch Man, and Fuse Man. Here you just know the Weaknesses of Everybody. Tundra Man Freezes Torch Man, Bounce Man's Stage is filled with Balloons, Impact Man has Drills for Hands, So it'd make Since Impact Man beats him. I love it when Video Games do this, Right before everything ends, You get to see all the faces that tried so hard to defeat you, and you body them once more. -Final Boss The Final Boss is Dr.Wily, how surprising for a Megaman Game. And here Dr.Wily has 2 Phases, and He seems so serious. He brings out a God Damn Helicopter Indoors, What the Hell Wily. Here Multiple Powerups that would normally seem useless are very good here. Blast Man's, Impact Man's, Fuse Man's, Hell even Acid Man's Powerup can be very useful in this boss fight. Both Speed Gear and Power Gear are used basically the entire Boss Fight. The 2nd Phase is VERY Serious, Here Dr.Wily doesn't plan on losing. Here he uses Both the Speed Gear and the Power Gear at the same. Most Powerups are used Here with Tundra Man's, Fuse Man's, Block Man's, Torch Man's, and Bounce Man's Powerup can be used for so long here. Finally Defeating Dr.Wily he talks about a Plan B, which is just him pleading. Dr.Wily gets away and Every Robot Master is Found. And there Megaman 11 ends. ______________________________________________________________________________________________
-Final Rating Megaman 11 is a great Megaman Game, especially for my First Megaman Game. Though however when Megaman 11 feels annoying, feels repetitive, feels rage inducing, feels boring, feels bad it REALLY feels like all of those things. Though when having Fun, the Game feels very Fun and Addictive.
Megaman 11 Is A 7/10

Pokemon Masters Guide - 12 Essential Tips to get you Started
The Pokemon franchise is no stranger to mixing up its traditional battle elements for the sake of its many spin-off titles, and Pokemon Masters (iOS | Android) is the latest attempt that you can try out right now. It may look like a fairly standard take on the franchise with its 3v3 battles, but there's a lot of real-time decision making and new rules in effect here that can trip up even the most dedicated Pokemon fan.
In this quick-fire guide, we'll highlight a few of Pokemon Masters' small mechanical quirks and dish out some helpful tips to overcome its challenges. That way veterans of the franchise won't fall victim to decades of now obsolete knowledge and muscle memory, and newcomers can jump straight in without feeling too overwhelmed.
Want to know what the best Sync Pairs are? We've got you covered.
1. Pokemon Only Have Single-Type Weaknesses
Unlike basically any other title in the franchise, Pokemon are only ever weak to a single element in Pokemon Masters. Veterans of the franchise will have memorized weakness chart in their minds a long time ago, but that's actually more of a hindrance in this game.
Rather than a Fire-type Pokémon being weak to Water and Ground, it might only be weak to one or the other. This is thankfully displayed beside each Pokemon on the field. But when these battles are all about quick decisions and fast fingers, you'll need to keep these strengths in mind before you go using an Ice-type move on a Flying-type Pokemon that's only actually weak to Electric.
2. Resistances Aren't A Thing
Staying on a similar subject, type resistances also go the way of the dodo in Pokemon Masters. Just like weaknesses, Pokemon would traditionally resist other types of attacks based on their own. That's not the case here. Here, there aren't any resistances at all. That includes complete immunity, too. So don't worry about using a Normal or Fighting-type move on a Ghost-type Pokemon. You'll still sock that Ghastly right in the face.

3. Only The AI's Centre Pokemon Will Use A Sync Move
One of the stranger things about Pokemon Masters is how the rules of battle aren't identical between the player and the AI. Where you have access to a trio of Sync Moves to suit the situation, your opponent will only ever have the one.
Only the centre Pokemon on the AI team can execute a sync move. To make up for this, AI sync moves will always hit your entire team rather than just the one target like your own. It's usually a good idea to knock this Pokemon out early to avoid a team wipe in one big blow. Pay attention though - if the centre slot has more than one AI opponent in it, the new incoming Pokemon will pick up the Sync Move count-down from where it was left off. This typically means a situation where a weaker Pokemon starts off in the centre spot, and the replacement will the team's strongest Pokemon - an alternative strategy might be to let the chud fire off it's Sync Move first, before taking it out and the next one before it has a chance to fire it off a second time.
4. Level Caps Aren't Tied To Rarity
Trainers (or sync pairs) eventually reach what's known as a “soft cap” – a point where they can't be levelled up any further without jumping through a few hoops. Similar games usually lock this behind the unit's rarity (or star rank), requiring players to boost the unit's rank to unlock their level cap. Just know that that is not the case here.
While you can upgrade a unit's rank in Pokemon Masters through the Increase Potential menu, unlocking their max level limit is actually done in a dedicated window using completely different items. Firstly you need to have completed Chapter 4 (the one where you get the sync pair Erika/Vileplume) and then you need to go to the Training Area. No matter how many courses are available to you at the time (Supercourses will rotate in and out), at the bottom of the list will be a Special Training option called 'Battle Techniques'. It involves a single fight against an Ace Trainer, and you'll want to take Fighting-type Pokemon. IF you beat him, you'll unlock the Unlock Level Cap option in the 'Team' section.
5. Use Items to Speed Up Sync Moves
In your effort to knock out the opposing team's centre lead before they can get their Sync Move off, using items can really speed up the job. Items don't consume the Move Gauge but do still contribute to the Sync Move countdown.
So if you're trying to get a Sync Move off before your opponent, consider queueing up item uses on other Pokemon while another spams low-cost moves to accelerate the gauge. Remember: a low-cost move increases the Sync Move gauge just as much as a higher one.
6. Rarity Isn't Indicative of Overall Strength
There's no denying that rolling a 5-star character is an exciting prospect, and it's no surprise that people will cram their teams with as many 5-star gatcha rolls as they can. But Pokemon Masters isn't as clear-cut as that.
Just because a story character comes in at 3-star rarity, that doesn't mean they're completely useless by comparison. Any unit can be upgraded to a 5* with enough effort, and some of those story characters can easily rival a 5-star gatcha pull once they're boosted to the same point. So just because they're free, doesn't mean they're at the bottom of the tier list. They just need some TLC to really prove their worth. Don't write them off too soon.
And besides; with type advantages being a thing, almost every sync pair has a use somewhere.
7. Make Use of Status Combos
If you're having trouble knocking out a strong Pokemon before it has time to finish you off with a Sync Move, make sure you're making good use of status combos for some easy extra damage. Tapping and holding an attack or skill in battle will show you it's power, accuracy and additional effects.
Some attacks can inflict common status conditions like Paralysis or Flinching, and certain Sync Moves can exploit these for tons of extra damage. One early example is Flannery and her Torkoal. Torkoal's base attack, Ember, can inflict Burn with enough luck, and its Sync Move deals considerably more damage to a Burned target. It's best to build a team that synergizes well with these kinds of combos to exploit these bonuses and take down foes fast.
8. Items Don't Regenerate Between Rounds
Before you go spamming items early into a zone, be aware that they don't regenerate between fights within the same section. This means if you're going into a story zone with two or more fights, blowing all your items in that first battle to rush out a Sync Move might leave you grasping at straws later on.
9. Use The Suggested Team To Level Up The Rest
The Level-Up Training zone is a great way to boost low-level sync pairs, but you don't need to take them in to reap the benefits. Rather than making the easy fights difficult with low-level teams that can't exploit weaknesses, just use the training manuals rewarded at the end to level up these non-optimal characters. That means you can make quick runs through the level-up training fights with your better teams and use the resulting items to power up your weaker ones.
10. Turn On Battle Order In The Menu
By default, you can't easily see which Pokemon is next in-line to attack. If you absolutely need to know who's about to strike next, you can actually turn on a battle order indicator through the menu mid-fight.
Just open it up through the cog icon on the top-left and scroll all the way down. With the option toggled, an indicator on the right-side of the screen will appear with three slots denoting each Pokemon's position on the battlefield. Enemy Pokemon will show up in red, while friendly Pokemon will be blue.
11. Special Spotlight Store Events Don't Share Sync Pair Pools
We go more into this in our Events Guide, but the gist of it is that the game is always either adding new Sync Pairs, and/or specifically doing a 'Spotlight' on a Sync Pair to give you a slightly better chance of pulling them when you spend the in-game currency. What you have to understand is that each instance of a Spotlight (or other) store event is treated as a separate entity. So if Blue/Pidgeot and Olivia/Lycanroc both have Spotlights running, you have to make sure you've selected the right one from the store menus before making a pull.
Further to that, if a Sync pair is released after a Spotlight event launches, they will not be available to pull via the earlier Spotlight event. Each Spotlight event that goes live uses the more up-to-date version of the Sync Pair pool at the time it goes live. Any new pairs added don't get retroactively included into older Spotlight events, so beware!
12. Pay Attention to the Game News and Change-Log
It's not the most exciting of places, but paying attention to the game news section is actually a really good source of information. You'll be able to see what new challenges and special events are running, but more importantly you'll be able to see what the current major bugs are and what you need to be paying attention to. For example, the developers have advised that Android 10 is not safe to use with Pokemon GO right now. Another tip - recently there were was a major bug that took a little longer to fix, so EVERYONE got given 6000 gems for free. You can afford to do the 10-pair pull in the store twice on that, but only if you claim the gems from your claim  box. If you didn't check the news, you might not have known it was there to claim.

Alternate Pokmon Colors

Switch syllables, such as calling a “Mewtwo” to “Twomew” (blue color). Separate the syllables with a hyphen, such as “Mewtwo” to “Mew-two”. Also try naming the Pokmon in all lower-case characters. To find out more methods, note the color of the opposing Pokmon and look at their nicknames. Naming a Pokmon after an attack will change its color. Complete the Masterball setting with Pikachu as one of your active Pokmon each round (he must be one of the three you choose to battle with). If you lose, you cannot continue (it must be a pure win and the Pikachu may not be part of a registered team or a “Rental”). If you succeed, the game will congratulate you and ask if you would like to replace one of Pikachu’s moves with Surf. Select “Yes”, then choose the move to be forgotten. The Pikachu will now pull out a surfboard and ride the wave whenever Surf is used.
Talking Pikachu

Mew
Mew will become playable, as a “Rental” Pokmon, in the Round 2 version of the game. He can only be played in the Prime Cup tournament, Gym Leader Castle, Free Battle, and Mewtwo Battle modes.
Mew In Prime Cup
This trick requires a Game Boy Game Shark and Pokmon Yellow. First start the game and enable the Game Shark code to catch Mew. Put it first in your line-up, then save the game. Go to the Game Shark screen and enable the code for the first Pokmon in your line-up to be any desired Pokmon. Check your stats and it should display your selected Pokmon’s picture, but with Mew’s name and information. Save the game. Place the game in the transfer pak and go to the Pokmon Stadium building. When prompted to select Pokmon, choose the one that was Mew. When you start the match, the Pokmon will be Mew.
Mewtwo Battle
Successfully complete all Cups in Stadium mode, and defeat all opponents in the Gym Leader Castle. Mewtwo is the last opponent you will face in both Round 1 and Round 2 versions of the game.
Round 2
Successfully complete the game to unlock a much harder version of the Stadium, Gym Leader Castle, and Mewtwo Battle modes.
Kids Club Hyper Mode
In one player mode with three CPU controlled opponents, successfully complete “Who’s the best?” five consecutive times on the hard difficulty setting within one match. Hyper will be unlocked as a new difficulty setting for CPU controlled players.
Alternate Pokmon Colors
Pokmon that you upload from the Game Boy version can have alternate colors. Giving your Pokmon various nicknames will change their colors.
Alternate Title Screen
Successfully complete Gym Leader Castle and Stadium modes. Then, Pikachu, Blastoise, Charizard, Venusaur and Mewtwo will appear on the title screen.
Play Pokmon Faster
Successfully complete the entire Pok Cup to get a sticker on the GB Tower. This will allow you play Pokmon on the Nintendo 64 twice as fast. If you beat the Masterball in the Prime Cup, a “Superfast” setting will be unlocked in the GB Tower. The title will change to “Doduo GB Tower”. Press C-Left to activate it.
Get Pokmon Presents Faster
Successfully complete the Gym Leader Castle. Then when you want to complete it again, go to the Gym Leader Castle, go directly to the Elite 4, and defeat your rival.
Bonus Stickers
Successfully complete R-1 mode, defeat Mewtwo, complete R-2 mode, and defeat Mewtwo again. Enter the gallery screen, then hold L + R and highlight the “Print” option. Keep holding the buttons until “Print” changes to “Bonus” to access sixteen more stickers.
Start With All Three Beginning Pokmon
When you start a new game, you can start with all three beginning Pokmon by starting over and choosing one of them in the Game Boy Pokmon game. Then, capture a Pidgey or Rattata. Save it to the boxes on Pokmon Stadium. Repeat the steps with a different Pokmon until you get all three. You can also save and keep Pokmon from your old game that you still want before starting over.
Unlimited Number Of Same Pokmon
Note: This trick requires the Mega Memory Card from InterAct. Save your file on the Mega Memory Card. Go to the Pokmon Lab and put the Pokmon to be duplicated in a 64 Box. Reload your game on the Mega Memory Card and receive your Pokmon in the 64 Box. Repeat as many times as desired to create an unlimited number of the same Pokmon.
Avoid Recoil Damage
If you use an attack that you know will kill the opposing Pokmon, but will hit you with the recoil, make sure that your Pokmon has at least 20 HP left. Use the attack and you will not suffer the recoil damage.
Take Less Damage
Use the following trick when your Pokmon is receiving a fatal attack, such as when Thunder is used on a Water Pokmon, to leave you with enough HP to attack your opponent once. When your opponent’s Pokmon begins to use their attack, hold Down + L + B until the energy takes its affect. When the energy leaves, you will have a chance to strike your opponent’s Pokmon. Note: This trick only works between 70% to 80% of the time. This will not work if Pokmon are totally mismatched, such as when a level 50 Pokmon is fighting a level 100 Pokmon.
Inflict Greater Damage
While your Pokmon is doing their attack, hold Down + L and repeatedly press A. Then when your Pokmon attacks, hold Down + L + A until the damage is taken. This is very effective when you attempt a fatal attack. Note: This trick only works between 80% to 90% of the time.
Attack First
Immediately after you choose a move and you want to go first instead of the CPU, hold L and press A. Note: This trick only works about 50% of the time, mostly in the Pika Cup.
Trade Without A Second Transfer Pak
Put a box on the game, then put the Pokmon from a different game or the same one in the box. Then, go back to the lab and put the box back on the game that you are trading to, go to the box, and withdraw the Pokmon when you want or need it. Note: This also works with items.
Give Pokmon To Another Game Boy Pak Without Getting One Back
Place the desired Pokmon in a separate box from which you have your regular Pokmon. Transfer that box to the 64box on the Nintendo 64. Shut off the system (if you only have one transfer pak) and insert desired Game Boy pak. If you have two transfer paks, then just switch the Game Boy pak with the one you are going to trade to. Then, transfer the box with the Pokmon in it to the other Game Boy pak and you will have the Pokmon without giving one in return.
Game Shark Codes Without A Nintendo 64 Game Shark
The “Import” feature and import pack can be used with Game Boy Game Shark codes while playing the original game or codes designed for it.
