The picture of edas friends as children, reminding us that all these adults, allies and villains alike, were once children. They were abused and indoctrinated by the same system that some of them are using to abuse and indoctrinate kids now. A few of them like alador and darius were able to see whats wrong and fight for a better world. But people like odalia sided with the emperor until it was too late because thats the only thing theyve ever known. And then it cuts to adult lilith and raine and shows how a lifetime of living under this system has sapped the joy out of them. How as kids they never would have thought to make their last stand against they system thats been there their whole lives. Its the lifetime of trauma and the perpetuation of the cycle of abuse for me

was talking about the way the supersons are one of the most fanonized relationships in comics in the tags of that one post and now i'm thinking about the weird fanon thing that's super minor but annoys me the most: there is a certain group of people who seem to believe that damian would,,, dislike jay? why????
cannot emphasize enough how the text of the comics tells us the exact opposite. like, okay:
( son of kal el issue 1, son of kal el issue 11, son of kal el issue 6 )
Damian's literally infodumping about jay and his work to anyone who will listen. And for the record- Dick decides to invest in The Truth after Damian finds out Jay's identity under the mask, so like.
Also, they get along fine out of uniform, too:
(DC pride 2022) (honestly if anything their dynamic kind of reminds me of steph and damian which leads me to conclude steph and jay would be best friends)
I think if you're going to write stuff with damian and jon you kind of have to acknowledge that jay is someone who is important to both of them. Like, Jay is part of their shared circle. Damian outright admires Jay's professional work. I'm much more interested in that reality.
The only universe where they don't get along is the Injustice universe, but that's the injustice universe where everyone sucks forever.

oh. bad told - i dont remember who. Bagi or tina. one of the wlw he tells everything to. he told them that he feels like the only one who can protect the eggs.
bad thinks he’s the only one who will save the eggs, who will do whatever it takes to get them back. thus, the only one who can get them back. it’s no wonder he doesn’t care about making allies in purgatory- he didn’t think he could ask for help before. why would he think that now?

Theory: The Clone X was not Cody like some people think or even Fives (I know he's been dead for a very long time but so was Boba Fett and look where we are. Plus, Echo was supposed to be certainly dead too; making him Winter Soldier-esque storyline wouldn't be that surprising) or not even Slick.
((Also, now that we've seen his face devoid of any tattoos or scars I think first two takes are definitely not applicable anymore; they wouldn't put that much effort to make him unrecognizable))
Back to the point: In my opinion, The Clone X was none other than...
Fox.
Now let me explain.
Who else, other than X, was loyal to the law and justice dictated by it over any moral or ethic code?
Fox.
Who else was portrayed with such single-minded focus on hunting down traitors of the government he served, regardless of what it was?
Fox.
Who else could know not only Coruscant so well but also identify Rex like they knew each other?
He already was a remarkably successful tracker of traitors, why not make him more efficient by pointing them out for him?
Good soldiers follow orders, after all.
