rating record of ragnarok characters /10, because i can.

DISCLAIMER: i’m only rating the characters based off what the manga & anime has portrayed. i’ve done little to no research on these people themselves, which is why i don’t condone anything immoral that they’ve done. this was written before the release of chapter 73+

a/n: i think i wanna do this for every anime + genshin & val. PLS WATCH IT & LMK IF YOU GUYS LIKE IT. also i dont care abt grammatical and/or punctual errors, this is a shit post

MANGA SPOILER WARNING!!

THOR: first of all, he’s so fucking hot. his smile caught me so off guard tho, i kinda just stood there watching the screen, baffled. not much character to him, he’s just hot. 7/10

LU BU: i’m chinese, i literally feel so happy when i see chinese characters. biased, but definitely a plus. he, just like thor, has little to no character. first character i called hot, is hot, but there are hotter characters. (what, i am not talking abt hermes wdym?) 7/10

HERMES: 10/10. no explanation. my man right there. i literally scream & cream every time i see him. why is he so fine. not a single panel or clip where he looks bad. pls eat me out, sir i beg. i will serve you. ONE CHANCE. JUST ONE?? i’m in love with him. who needs real men or women when hermes.

GOLL: she is SO ANNOYING. her eng & jp voice are both annoying asl. she’s that one character, that exists in mostly every anime, used to explain background info & battle info on other characters. brunhilde is too nice on her. she reminds me of when i first saw yachi (haikyuu) on screen. yachi, too, was annoying. but i grew to love her🫶. 1/10

BRUNHILDE: SHES SO HOT. ATE. SHE ALDNAHDISKZ. yeah, what else is there to say? 8/10

APHRODITE: she truly lives up to her version in the greek mythology. hottest woman/goddess alive. ate. her boobs, i want to squish them & bury my face in them. WHEN IS IT MY TURN TO HOLD THEM? 8/10

ZEUS: idgaf what anyone says, he’s not hot. not even his younger self. he looks like mirio (mha) turned netero (hxh). love his character tho. the eyes scared me at first. he’s hilarious. 5/10

ADAM: my friend, the one who recommended snv to me, told me he’d be more my type. he was, minus the fact that’s he literally butt fucking naked. nice ass cheeks tho. def pretty boy, his wife is hot too. i want her more😋. his line abt fighting for his children made me cry. should’ve won. i say, let hermes be uncleless & fatherless. 7/10

POSEIDON: he was fs the blueprint for adam. anywho, yk hes fine. SOOO FINE. meowing for him. he doesn’t beat hermes tho. nobody beats hermes. well, look wise at least. it was rlly hard choosing who to root for in this fight. that’s a lie, i was always on humanity’s side. sad he died:( 9/10. -1 for being a little, arrogant, narcissistic, egotistical bitch. 8/10

SASAKI KOJIRO: see, zeus coulda been hot like him at that old age. man aged like fine wine. character was a W. hot, determined, good character, funny. what else can you want from a man? 8/10

HERACLES: disappointed. so disappointed. he looked better in the disney ver. this fight was so boring for me. you’re telling me i’m supposed to watch the fight instead of ogling at hot characters? no. character was okay. 6/10

JACK THE RIPPER: massive L. not supporting a murderer. next. 0/10

SHIVA: hot from the beginning. 4 arms? do what you want to me, sir. 3 WIVES? tengen (kny), is that you bro?😭 anywho, he’s cocky, def my type irl LMAO. i wouldn’t let that slide tho.. his wives are hot too😋 8/10

RAIDEN TAMEEMON: i paid very little attention to this fight. don’t remember his backstory too well (i read this fight not even 24 hours ago btw). not that good looking, not ugly either. i liked his character, upset he took 3 of shiva’s arms. why 3? why not 2? he got 1 arm left. 4/10

BUDDHA: THATS MY GOD RIGHT THERE. ate. i’m not religious, and neither are my family, but they are buddhist, so by default, i am too. i personally think buddhism is the best religion, but we’re not gonna get into that. i have very valid reasons btw. love his personality, love his looks. massive W. ofc he fights for humanity. he’s a walking W. 9/10

ZEROFUKU: precious. definition of deserved better. what made me sad, is how he was written during the fight. he’s consistently hitting, with little to no strategy. his backstory is sad, but his battle exp was written poorly. also the random ass monster possessing took me tf out. 7/10

HADES: fine ass mf. he’s so different from how he’s usually portrayed, both look & personality wise. the first W netflix has pulled. he’s hot and responsible? persephone, we can share him babes. also, the relationship between him & poseidon made me SOB. like actually. hurt so bad i made an angst edit. 9/10

QIN SHI HUANG: first off, i don’t do research on my own ethnicity’s history. i didn’t even know who tf lu bu was. my family knew tho. with that aside, PROUD TO BE CHINESE❗️ he’s so fine. SO FINE. the way his character was written, was wonderful. i loved the fight between him & hades. the tension & the lengths they went to try & win. 9/10

BEELZEBUB: his backstory was so tragic. what i didn’t like, was how they rushed his & lilith’s story. like, they kinda randomly said i love you to each other. i’d love to see their adventures tgt. lilith, leave that emo thing, and come be w me. he’s fine too. i rlly like how they introduced him. 8/10

NIKOLA TESLA: i don’t have much of an opinion on him. very chatty, which i don’t actually mind. i guess we’ll have to wait for more chapters to release before i form an opinion on him. 5/10

ODIN: the hair bro. THE HAIR. i keep forgetting he exists, but i’m not his biggest fan. not bad, but i prefer his sons. i do like the theory of him being a traitor. he looks the part. 5/10

LOKI: honestly, i liked him a lot in the beginning, but now, it’s like he’s kinda on the side. cute & hot. thor is the better brother tho. speaking of, how tf are they even brothers? moving on, i like his personality. i like his shocked, mixed w angry, facial expressions more. 7/10

ARES: the hair again. very stylish, i do like it, but it took me out. walking around looking like a school girl. i don’t like how he tries to be a know-it-all w hermes, when he literally relies on him for info. but that’s my man for you. his expressions are SO WELL. 6/10

ADAMAS: i was awfully confused, at first, when there were 3 older brothers to zeus. usually, it’s just hades, poseidon & zeus. not his biggest fan, his character was rushed. 4/10

JESUS: i was very happy to see jesus. i’m not sure why, i just was. why is he the only character, THAT LOOKS LIKE THEMSELVES? 9/10

aww this episode was so fun and cute!! I love the more adventure-y type episodes where they explore a new location so this episode was great and very stressful lmao. also very funny. I love bob and teddy's dynamic/back and forth throughout the episode and the weird mort mention at the end felt like they were soft launching his and teddy's relationship even though I KNOW they aren't actually. mort could replace kathleen if we believe. very solid 8/10 episode :)

Rambling incoming. People often remember the book 10 vase scene & the epilogue as poorly written (and they are), but I'd argue that what happens after the vase scene is just as badly written, if not worse.

Being told that Darkstalker not only brainwashed one of her friends, but also attempted to kill off his entire tribe with a plague, should have been the final straw for Moon. She had already experienced a SEVERE breach in trust with Darkstalker before he even emerged from the mountain, so much so that it put her into tears (end of book 8). She should have immediately realized that trying to redeem Darkstalker would necessarily put the lives of her friends, Winter's tribe, and the world at risk, as long as he still had his powers. She should have immediately started focusing on how to neutralize DS as soon as possible. Maybe neutralize him in a way where she can safely try to redeem him without gambling the world on it, but not if it requires the sacrifice of her friend's safety. She should have redirected her empathy towards the friends she KNOWS she can trust. This does not happen. Instead, she throws herself a pity-party, like she is the real victim in all of this. She stubbornly insists that he can still be redeemed much to the dismay of Winter and the questioning of Qibli, and then puts the entire world at risk by betting on him willingly eating the strawberry to find redemption. It is ONLY through the serendipitous hubris of Darkstalker that he is defeated. Yet the books do not hold Moon to task on ANY of this completely blind and genuinely selfish crusade of hers. No, it's everyone else's fault for not believing in her.

A few short pages after the vase scene, Moon outright channels suburban mom energy out of nowhere, infantilizes Winter as if he is a toddler throwing a temper tantrum over spilt milk, and basically tells him to go to his room. All because he was upset that, after being told that DS nearly wiped out the IceWings and brainwashed one of her closest friends, she wanted to go talk to the culprit. She refuses to explain why and doesn't even try to understand why Winter is so upset. Yet she calmly explains her reasons to Qibli on the very next page. This scene alone made me almost quit WoF entirely because it straight-up invalidates Winter's trauma while, somehow, framing him as the unreasonable one.

After their conversation with Darkstalker, they realize they have to tell Winter that Queen Glacier, his aunt whom he genuinely cared about and valued so much that he made it a cornerstone of his identity early in the arc, has been killed by Darkstalker's plague. So, since they are such good friends they would feel genuine empathy and sorrow for him, right? Dreading the task of telling him because it will be a genuinely difficult thing to do, to tell a close friend that a loved one of theirs died? Lmao nope. Instead, all Qibli and Moon are worried about is that he might yell at them. Moon's only response to Qibli's worry is "I've heard worse in his head." Not "he's allowed to mourn," or "he's been through a lot recently, cut him some slack." Imagine if your friends, behind your back, learned of your loved ones passing and went "Oh god, alright let's draw straws on who has to tell this guy."

The 2nd half of book 10 is, to this day, probably some of the worst, most mean-spirited writing I've ever seen in... anything really. It systematically destroyed the found family to resolve a love triangle that nobody wanted, because letting Moon and Qilbi just choose each other was apparently *not* an option.

The Vase scene and how the character's react and treat Winter in the 2nd half of Book 10 is one of the reasons why it's my least favorite WoF book. It really is unnecessarily mean spirited. Though I do wanna touch a bit on what you say here. Specifically about Moon since I think her actions her could of actually been handled in an interesting and impactful way.

This isn't to defend the Vase scene or anything...it's really bad and honestly I think it's worse with this context. I just wanna mention this since I think Moon is a really under-utilized character.

Moon's in a horrifically toxic friendship with Darkstalker, he repeatedly makes Moon feel responsible for his actions, he isolates her from her friends, he constantly pleads with her to stay with him because it'll make him better or make him stop acting horrible. It's notable that Moon is the only one Darkstalker didn't enchant because her Behavior is like someone who was enchanted. Darkstalker doesn't need to enchant Moon, he's already got his grubby in her 13 or so year old mind. Moonwatcher also has a surprisingly black-and-white worldview. Moonwatcher sorts thoughts into bad and good and judges people by them. Darkstalker exploited this by showing Moon all the good things he wants and all the good things he thinks.

If we get rid of all the magic from Darkstalker for a second what we have is a horror story where a much older teenager is manipulating a much younger one to Stay With Them so that They don't Kill Anyone. This is Deeply Horrifying and I'm not even going to touch on how he compares her to Clearsight because it becomes even creepier and I don't want to talk about stuff like that at the moment.

This is why I hate the vase scene even more! Because if we divorce it from the rest of book 10 for a bit it's actually a deeply fucking terrifying scene where Moonwatcher's sense of self is so reliant on Fixing Darkstalker that the idea of him doing something so horrible is something she can't accept because if she Does that means she's at fault.

Plus part of the worry in the vase scene is coming from how Moonwatcher trusts Darkstalker still, and how Darkstalker can read her mind. Winter is putting Moon at risk by telling her this. Could you imagine if Darkstalker Did decide to do something to Moon because of what Winter did? Moon is being put in danger by that information.

Of course we live in a world where book 10 sucks and Moonwatcher is barely a character outside of the love triangle so we don't get that. Moonwatcher's personality changes depending on what the love triangle needs to continue. The clearest example of this is Moon Wanting to Abandon waiting for Winter in Escaping Peril when SHE'S the one who wanted to wait for him in the first place!

I think one of my major problems with Book 10 is that, due to the romance plot, a lot of characters feel like there being given a script by Tui herself for the plot to go like this. So, as you mentioned, instead of acting like concerned friends who just learned that there friend's aunt was practically murdered, Qibli and Moon act really dismissive and even cruel. Complaining about being yelled at rather than the fact that Winter's Aunt is Dead. However this scene is supposed to push the romance further, to show how Winter is less attractive to Moon compared to Qibli.

Now, again, really fucked up to use his aunt's death as the backdrop here, but it is the purpose of the scene. This book is so meanspirited and horrible I Hate it god I hate Book 10-

during the events of the game there are very few people who even know about johnny and v doesn't talk about her feelings towards the engram. rogue and kerry probably suspect that there is more going on but she never confirms it.

during au: say yes to heaven (johnny gets a body au) the two are openly dating but the world forgot about johnny silverhand and he doesn't have his prosthetic anymore so to people who don't know their backstory he's just a regular guy.

when he returns to nc after going soul searching (haha) he actually has to go look for her since she moved out of the megabuilding apartment and they were strictly no-contact. kerry points him to where she currently resides (northside apartment + her motorcycle shop) so i would say he's a supporter. v was very good at making almost no friends during their time together so there is no one else. (this sounds a bit sad but it really isn't)

her brother vincent is a bit on the fence about her dating her aneurism but he's glad she found a genuine lover.

i made a post some time ago about mundane things johnny and v do during the time they share a body. (also apparently my proper blog page is back now and christ alive do i need to update it lmao)

obviously during the game they do everything together, johnny is annoyed at those mundane things at first and frankly v is annoyed by shit like having to do laundry as well, not because of his presence but because she could do without it.

in au: say yes to heaven they spend some time being a boring couple, getting takeouts, sleeping in, going to the movies etc. eventually johnny suggests v should also leave nc for a bit. to everybody's surprise she actually she agrees (she's finally healing) and they go on a roadtrip! (we love that trope)

viv! (@bishicat hello bestie <;3) after her and v reconnected she's shocked and happy to hear she's seeing someone! v tells her to calm down about it since it's not that serious and she keeps teasing her about it.

viv also thinks its funny she's dating an ex-corpo, after all their friendship literally (temporarily) ended when she started working for arasaka. to v it's entirely different because muamar made the choice to leave while she was kicked out.

so let's unpack this (haha) as i mentioned before v wants him but she also doesn't. after her and viv get johnny his body back the three of them go on a roadtrip (i told you we love this trope) and muamar joins them! it was viv's idea and v was happy to have him along since the idea third-wheeling for weeks on end gave her hives.

she's actually happy for the first time in her life and they are a real, genuine couple. they even say "i love you", if you can believe it.

but because this cannot last (i cant stand the idea of her being happy leave me alone) once the trip comes to and end so does their relationship. i like comparing it to a dying pet, you know they are dying so you take them on a last trip to the park.

the moment they started fucking dating they ended their professional relationship (kind of): she stopped taking gigs from him but is more than happy to steal cars for him LMAO.

she encourages him pursue his passion for cars. with v being a lowkey (motorcycle) mechanic herself, they bicker over cars vs. motorcycles a lot but also bond over their shared interest.

other than that there isn't much due to v's reluctance to get any more emotionally involved .

OOH THIS IS SUCH A GOOD QUESTION okay I ended up writing an entire essay for this complete with citations so it'll be beneath a read more. You have activated my brain worms, thank you kindly.

So I think that fights between these two are inevitable because they have some really differing core beliefs, especially on the concepts of family and love. A rather overlooked trait of Venuz is that he values respect and is nice to others as can be seen a lot on his Twitter. These are just three examples but there are quite a few more!

In our headcanon he also risked just about everything for Cuz as well. (I totally wanna elaborate more on that but I'll save it for some other time. >:]) Needless to say, Bill would never do this (well, not yet, at least), Mr. "WHO WOULD SACRIFICE EVERYTHING THEY'VE WORKED FOR JUST FOR THEIR DUMB SIBLING?" over here.

Every relationship goes through a "honeymoon phase" where the initial euphoria and lovey-dovey stuff is at its highest point. I think that Venuz was very much overwhelmed by this honeymoon phase and was willing to forgive or disregard just about everything Bill did that he'd ordinarily be really uncool with.

Eventually, though, that has to wear off, and he'll be forced to confront that yeah actually I'm kinda not cool with some of this behaviour.

Cuz is definitely his breaking point in tolerating Bill's lack of regard or respect for others. It starts to bother him to the point where he's like "ok u gotta leave him alone yo" and Bill would probably either deny completely that he's messing with him (which Venuz isn't falling for, Cuz has told him enough already) or say something like "SO WHAT? HE'S JUST A STUPID KID" and either way that's gonna piss Venuz off. Bill's constant abuse of his maids would definitely bother him, too. So yeah, that is the main problem they have -- Venuz values respect and Bill has none.

As to how they'd actually deal with it? Well I can imagine eventually Venuz says something like "if u ain't gonna respec my famili dis ain't gonna work" and Bill is really upset by that and goes full on the defensive and throws a tantrum / pity party like "WELL NOBODY EVER RESPECTED ME" blah blah blah trying to justify why he's an asshole and that's okay because he's the victim always.

Venuz has gotten to know him enough by now to the point where he can kinda understand where this is coming from even if he isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and his little fit just makes Venuz feel bad for him. He thinks "wow he iz rly fukkd up. i can fix him". If he isn't willing to try to tame the beast at least a little bit I don't think this relationship would work out at all, lmao.

So, yeah, I'm sure most fights are based around that general concept. Bill calls the waiter a worthless three-dimensional skin-puppet or something and Venuz sprays him with a water bottle. And vise versa, too, probably; "YOU'RE TOO SOFT, YOU SHOULD BURN THAT MORTAL ALIVE".

Otherwise, though, smaller stuff they disagree on is definitely to what extent they should do "mortal stuff" like sleeping and eating or whatever. Venuz likes to do those things. Sure, he is a god, he could do anything he wants, but he chooses to eat, chooses to sleep, even chooses to have a job.

Bill is mortal now, so he needs to sleep and eat, but he's going to be obnoxious about that for as long as he can. After all, he's not really a mortal, this is only temporary! He's like Venuz, a deity beyond biology or responsibility! The rules don't apply to him!

I think Venuz is often frustrated that Bill can rarely ever just spend a chill evening in the living room cuddling with him, and Bill is frustrated that Venuz is wasting his time with those things. Heck, I'm sure Bill's extra frustrated because he wants Venuz's power; he's not using it, so it may as well go to him anyway! Nevermind the fact that Venuz is clearly living a lot happier life than Bill is, hahaha.

This totally develops as time goes on, though; Venuz spends more time taking Bill on little adventures around the galaxy and bringing him on Wasteland runs to set shit on fire with him, and Bill is more willing to indulge in lying around just enjoying one another's presence or spending evenings stargazing. Relationships are all about compromise and these two care about each other enough to be willing to do that, whether consciously or not. :)

some omega!Marco thoughts

since this is on my mind currently and I have a googledoc outlining the kind of ABOverse world I want to work within when I finally get around to writing one...

-The Moby Dick is a massive beast and has, in canon, over 1600 people on board. That's a lot of people and too big for a typical "pack" that people like to write about in ABO fics. That's the size of a small town! So I'm thinking that the other commanders, the higher ranked people in Marco's Division, the nurses, and Pops are Marco's "pack." They're the people he's around the most, those are the scents he's most familiar with, and the one's he's most comfortable around. The ship as a whole is tightly knit but there are definite "packs"-mostly each Division is it's own pack and maybe smaller sub-groups of family units or somethin (each commander considers the other commanders, Pops, and their own Divisions their "pack" perhaps?)

-Marco's heats are twice a year. Literally every six months on the dot, you can set a calendar to it (and the Moby Dick absolutely does). I also think that omegan heats synch up like normal human menstrual periods do and, thanks to his fruit, Marco's is the "alpha" cycle of the ship. All other omegas on board are synched to his cycle (omegas who have theirs more often have one or two in between his two, omegas with less will have theirs inevitably fall at the same time as one of his) (it's absolutely because of the phoenix that his cycle is the one that others synch up to)

-Marco's heats have a 3 week pattern. Week 1 is the pre-heat: he feels itchy in his skin, horny, hungry but nothing tastes good or smells appealing, irritable, starts stealing clothes that smell like family and shiny things for no reason, and gets EXTREMELY territorial+over protective of the physical ship. Week 2 is the heat proper: lasts 5-6 days, horny horny horny, record of 13 orgasms in a single day, wears people out if he’s not using the seastone cuff to the point that before he got a cuff people rotate individual days so nobody burnt out. This isn't to say he's completely out of his mind and incapable of logical thought-but he is extremely and acutely uncomfortable with skin hunger and a need to do something (we all know what). He can still talk, still express himself, he's still lucid 99% of the time, he's just unbearable horny with stamina befitting a phoenix. Week 3 is the comedown: where he’s still itchy and horny but oversensitive and doesn’t like it, gets frustrated in his nest with sitting still the first few days but is too weak to really do much, phoenix finally calmed down enough to let his body actually process all the shit it went through to try getting pregnant and now that it’s not it’s flushing the ‘want sex now’ hormones out, wants to over eat, and the extremely over protectiveness and extreme territoriality come back with a vengeance.

-That week 1 of the heat where he's super territorial is BAD. If he senses anything strange/not family on the ship he gets very hostile and agitated until it’s removed or dead. The Moby Dick anchors on uninhabited islands during this period because of the risk of running across other crews or civilians is high enough that even Marco himself is worried he'll overreact and hurt people to a level he isn't comfortable with. Marines try sniffing around? Lmao not for long. The ship is his

(sidenote to the above: I like to think that Ace was first brought on board the Moby just after one of Marco's heats so Marco was at the end of the comedown period and was standoffish/aloof to Ace because he was still feeling agitated. He warmed up to Ace after his body finally decided things were fine. Ace gets a taste of the Week 1 protectiveness during a spar when Ace-only 3ish months into being an official Whitebeard-fights Marco, loses, and Marco visibly considers stomping him to death because heat-hormone brain says Ace might still be a threat and Jozu had to yell at Marco to get his attention back on what he was supposed to be doing) (mark Ace down as scared and horny, terrified and enchanted)

-Marco ate his fruit a year after he presented as an omega. For five years after that, his heats were so intense for his partners that it became a running joke that he'll end up accidentally sexing someone to death (the phoenix basically keeping him at max/peak heat for days to the point that the record for keeping up with him was only 50 hours before the nurses had to intervene and remove that partner from Marco's nest). That's when Marco asked Pops to help him find a seastone cuff (goes around his right ankle and anchors to the right corner of his bed). It gets used exclusively during Week 2 so Marco's heats don't accidentally kill the people who volunteer to help him out.

-Pops, who was a middle-aged Alpha when he found Marco, is pretty much the only alpha that Marco doesn't get weird about when his heats start up. Pops is Pops-father, caretaker, warmth, love, protection, family in spite of no shared blood. Pops is pretty much the only thing that can calm Marco down if he gets into a rage while mid-heat.

-Scent wise: Marco smells vaguely fruity and woody. Like overripe fruit that's burst open over moss. Like a cold spring in a humid jungle. Warm bordering on hot, but comfortable and refreshing. It's very soothing if you're a patient in his infirmary, and overwhelming if you're in the bedroom at the height of Week 2.

-In his territorial phases: the physical ship is the territory. That's his place, his home, and anything unfamiliar gets scrutinized both visually and with haki. If he senses anything weird, he gets increasingly pissy about it until it gets resolved or-the later into week 1 or earlier into week 3 it is-he kinda loses his temper about it. If the shit happening is enemy action, he can and will and has in the past destroyed whole units of Marines by himself (half transformed, snarling and stomping a marine to death like a secretary bird) (Ace gets the secretary bird treatment during that spar at the beginning: leg raised up with flared open talons at the read, Marco's very intense eagle-like stare, a sense of hard observation haki and impending doom before Jozu yelled at Marco)

-During the comedown: marco wants to carb-load like woah. He wants all the heavy foods: fruits galore, bread, rice, beans (which he normally can't stand the rest of the time), all the dairy in the world. Thatch keeps a fridge stocked just for the first couple days of his post-heats because otherwise he will fight people for their plates. It's also the only circumstance in which he feels like he needs to and actively wants to nap and oversleep too. As the week goes on he starts feeling and acting more like himself. By day 7-8 he's totally normal.

-Week 2: marco has volunteers that line up almost literally around the ship. Unfortunately for them, the territorial sense still sticks around to a mild degree. Familiar alphas are easier/"safer", so the other commanders and sometimes an officer from the First Division will lend a hand (usually only for between 8 and 24 hours before Marco wears them out, even with the cuff on). When Ace finally gets into the rotation, he somehow lasts the longest out of the lot (Thatch and Izou chalk it up to the stamina of youth, Ace and Marco privately think it's just because their chemistry is just so damn satisfying that Ace can shorten the heat by up to a day).

-Since I wanna go MAS with ABOverse eventually: sabo gets into marco's heats after Marineford (ace lives, because of course he does, how it happens will get figured out later lmfao) because Ace is kinda out of commission to heal from having a hole in his chest. Marco's very unsure of him, but somehow even after a decade apart he and Ace still smell vaguely like each other. With Ace in the room, Sabo can knot Marco just fine (and when Ace has to step out to make sure they have something to eat mid heat, Marco rides Sabo like a stallion). By the time they get the rough parts worked out, Sabo and Ace find they can manage Marco's heat just fine without the cuff.

-After Marineford, Sphinx island as a whole becomes the new territory for Marco's heat brain. The Moby was massive and the population of the island is actually smaller than the crew had been. He protects them all-week 1 becomes a constant flying patrol of the island (maybe sometimes swooping down to pick at the hair of the kids, especially the ones who have bright pretty hair colors, they laugh and giggle at the giant silly bird who's usually the new doctor in town). Speaking of the kids, he bonds pretty well with them all and tries very hard not to get baby rabies-channels the parental instincts they awaken in him into just being the best physician on the island. When he sees Ace and Sabo being good with the kids? Be still his throbbing ovaries, he is 44-45 he is way too old to be thinking about kids (which is a whole other can of worms for him-the phoenix means he's still at his physical peak but while he isn't sure where either of them stand on the idea of children he can certainly guess from both their comments about cursed bloodlines).

-He is very wary about leaving for Wano at first because his next heat is less than a month away, but it ends up being mostly fine. The whole thing happens in less than a week and the travel time means he has a couple days to spare by the time they return to Sphinx (but not without Shanks making a pass at him after the offer to join the Red Force, just to rile up Ace for laughs). Still cuts it closer than he'd like, but they get home just fine with enough time to get the house prepped properly.

(5/5) alright! arc four! once all the alola stuff wraps up, cole+my guy are...still fired from aether, not that they'd want to be associated with aether now anyway. so it's time to develop a new research angle, and This time it's working with professor burnet to develop a way for them to safely traverse the ultra wormholes that nebby can create. and where does the first one drop them but hisui, over 100 years in the past! and initially they're just. out in the wilderness. and they're not stuck as long as they have nebby, so they could leave, but they want to explore a bit instead of just dipping out because they can't see any signs of civilization. so they do a little wandering+luckily, instead of getting Attacked by anything, they run into the pearl clan's favourite warden: ingo! this ingo is distinctly different from my other para of him; this one has been living in hisui for like. At least ten years. maybe closer to 15. and he only vaguely remembers his home+has basically resigned himself to the fact that he's never gonna see anything even remotely close to it again...until he runs into this little group of very-obviously-modern travellers+is like Oh My God. he pretty much assumes the lot of them are fallers right away+starts fussing immediately, trying to orient them+get them somewhere safe, while THEY'RE all looking at each other like "is it just me or is that a unovan railway uniform. where the hell are we?"

either way, things get cleared up+ingo is...somewhat disappointed to discover that they're not in the same situation as him, but also relieved because good lord nobody deserves that. and they tell him "well we're gonna stay here for a little for research because this place has got pokemon we've never even HEARD of, but when we go we could try+see if we can get you back home." initially ingo declines because he has Duties here, but he *does* accompany them when they go on research because he knows the land better+doesn't want this group of kids (read: roughly 17-25 year olds) dying in the wilderness. and it's during this, while watching everybody Be A Family from the distance, that it occurs to him "ohhh i see. I Miss Having A Family. Badly." and it's not just having a family, it's also having Anyone who really understands him. as much as he's settled into hisuian culture, he's still an outsider from another time. so when it comes time for everyone to pack up+leave for real, he decides (with a bit of regret) to abandon his post as a warden+come with. part of it is the temptation of being able to actually Go Home, but it's also because everybody else has genuinely grown on him+he doesn't want to lose anybody he feels close to again. Found Family Complete. for now at least.

...and THAT'S the story as it stands! this could go a few different directions; right now i'm playing omega ruby+depending on how much i end up thinking about it everybody could end up getting plunked in hoenn. there's also obviously if, how, and when an emmet/ingo reunion happens but nothing concrete has been worked out for that. i'm trying not to go "oh my god this is fucking long" for the 70 millionth time because you DID say you were interested so um. thank you for reading. i REALLY hope this all sends in proper order+tumblr doesn't eat any of these asks lmao but if it does i can resend any of them. again: literally had to draft this in a word doc. can you believe this is the Short version of all this. i swear to god this is meant to be more truncated. i'm not even going into the symbolism of everyone's pokemon teams or anything. did you know genesect is here? fucking genesect has been here the whole time

Oogh I put Ingo in Hisui for 5-7 years depending on how I feel but people who do 10+ make me incredibly sad

My Ingo has very similar complicated feelings about his Duties and life he's made in Hisui vs the want to go home when Akari convinces (threatens) Arceus to let them. He very almost decides not to leave. It also doesn't help that he has no memories other than a flash of Emmet's face and the vague knowledge of a fire type pokemon. He's afraid of what he'll find or what he won't find because he just doesn't know whereas Hisui is Known and Predictable (and he's autistic) but also also Hisui never felt like Home. He's always been an outsider no matter how much of the clan eventually accepted him

My Ingo and Emmet do get a reunion and I daydream it a lot

random question: do you have any headcanons about Yoko? anything about her upbringing, her relationship with her lineage, how does she live as a witch in the modern era (where apparently even Dracula became just a myth), her general personality? ^^

OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD, NOT ORGANISED BECAUSE UM IM TIRED

- its said she works for the church, like sypha, so i imagine thats the family business. for centuries, the belnades have worked from the sidelines, assisting the church rather than facing dracula directly and only interfering when necessary, like in 1999

- yoko does not do this, because much of her childhood was spent around alucard :> he was responsible for much of her education, in both magic and battle. though her family handled the main things like elemental magic, alucard taught her bits and pieces of alchemy and more general spells, alongside tutoring her in how to actually fight. later on, arikado is responsible for having taught yoko how to perform weapon synthesis for soma, as well as teaching her about magic seals. since she knows alucard so well, she ends up wanting to have a much more active part in things than the rest of her family, and this culminates in alucard often letting her accompany him with his work and, of course, bringing her along in aria of sorrow and giving her the tip for the cult in dawn. unfortunate that julius left her at the gate lmao

- another note, i imagine shes related to julius through being related to trevor and sypha, and if sypha can result in juste happening, then i think trevors involvement left some traits in yokos family. mostly i draw her with the certified Belmont Eyebrows whenever i remember to, but also i imagine she has more physical combat proficiency than is usual for a bloodline of spellcasters working from the shadows. also if you havent noticed, yoko certainly looks a lot like juste and leon both :) i think if she tried using subweapons, she could probably pull off spell fusion too

- well, nobody really thinks witches are real, so similarly to how arikado lives as just Some Agent Guy, yoko lives as Some Church Employee Gal as far as the public eye is concerned. at most, her talents are viewed as not actually real, just fake stuff like mysticism and future-telling and etcetera. she definitely buys into this to try and cover herself, but shes kind of a bad liar? fortunately, people take her bad lying as just being embarrassed her skills arent as real as advertised (hint: theyre more real!)

- yokos general personality is described as kind but very nosy, and i think that works. she seems cheerful and peppy as a person, which is unusual for cv girls, who usually fit into the fridged wife model and not much else. i think that shes generally quite friendly, with a bit of hidden sass -- yoko reminds arikado a little bit of trevor, actually, which feeds into him being fond of her. she also has a bit of a short temper. however, she ends up being kind of an enabler for arikados shenanigans, which is a Problem. yoko is a very bad liar, but only with Direct lies. if she says something true to avoid saying something else, shes perfectly fine, for example. that happens a lot in aos. as well as that, despite her misgivings, she helps arikado with things like manipulating soma and visiting minas shrine, and shes also technically complicit in his use of julius. ... this adds a layer of unspoken guilt and deceit to all her friendships shes made, which tends to eat at her quite a lot, but she cant talk about it for worry of troubling arikado as well, who is really trying to avoid the consequences of his actions and she doesnt want to fuck that up for him because, yknow, hes basically like her weird ??? semi-relative slash mentor thing, she respects him and hes probably the closest friend she has. but that means her friendships with soma (who she helped manipulate), mina (who she helped endanger and keeps tabs on for arikado), and julius (whose use as basically a tool in aria she was complicit in) are all layered with her hidden deceit and feelings of guiltiness. i sure hope that doesnt blow up in everyones faces one day combined with her inability to lie properly!

- forgot to fit this in earlier, but she probably feels the weight of syphas legacy on her a lot, since. she hangs out with arikado lmao what can you expect. she tries to avoid this by dressing like cviii alucard instead of sypha, she uses his colours and everything. hes totally not touched by it despite the mixed intentions

misc hcs:

- as you can tell, i think she was basically arikados accomplice in aos, and also that she was helping him with whatever plan he had in dos, before everything went totally topside when julius tagged along and soma crashed the party

- her mother (1999 belnades) fucking hates arikado lmao those bitches cant stand eachother. its mostly because of julius business but also she thinks arikado was the worst influence on yoko ever and shes RIGHT

- she got julius his job with the church partly because she felt guilty about arikado leaving him in the fuckin dust for however long and also not having done anything about it despite the fact she really couldnt in the first place

- she started visiting mina so arikado wouldnt have to do it directly so often, but they are genuinely close! to yoko, an only child, mina is very much like a sister of sorts (like is said in some materials and such)

- yoko is smarter than she lets on, but occasionally plays her supposed ditziness to her advantage. not often, but sometimes

- grahams presence in aria was because yoko was trying to catch him out in the first place and arikado figured it would be convenient to make it easier for her and him. that did not go as well as they planned lol

- yoko and arikado ride or die true and real in my head. yes he did use her as leverage when she was bleeding out on the floor yes he does genuinely care about her a lot yes she is aware of both these facts its Complicated okay

i wrote wayyyyy too much sorry this is more of a plot i have in my head than anything 😭

she did get abducted by aliens, but they all started freaking out due to kidnapping THE bella goth instead of that lame slut that nobody cares about 😒 they don't really need the flack of capturing a well-known person again. it makes what they do soooo much harder 🙄 so after panicking for a bit they just drop her ass right outside of strangetown fuck it.

congruently, daddy bigbucks and his bestie attorney lily gates are on their way to strangetown to start that bullshit ass show he makes, but this time on the way a wormhole opens up in the sky and the bigbucks from the end of the gba game (you know, when his shit ends up coming back to bite him in the ass), falls from the sky and causes them to have an accident, and the gba!bigbucks takes over their operation. they happen upon bella and take her hostage too, and really start monetizing on the "bella got abducted by aliens" story. merch, signs, ads in the paper, they bring on a look-alike bella to walk around strangetown and eat out of the trash act nothing like bella so ppl can talk and call the hotline they bought. really banking on this.

after some time passes and they're racking in a moderate amount of money, gba!bigbucks decides that the original idea he had with the strangetown reality show could work with pv/st/vv is in it too lets pretend there's a reason why it was incorporated. they have the money, the inkling of a plot that could go any way possible, all they needed to do was put that shit into action.

bella during all of this is just living lavish in bigbucks mansion. as time goes on the urge + guilt to go back to her family lessens more and more as the frankly fucked up reality tv plans grows. technically she's even more of star now than she was before, but she's more subdued to the public because she's never really cared about 'fame' in regards to the public. the only things she does now are be the "woman that got abducted" and show up in the show sometimes to stir some shit, and hang with her friends and make moneyyyyyyy. she gets to be beautiful and fabulous and gorgeous with few responsibilities and that's how its been for almost 20 years :3

Hi. I just read the 4 town fic you mosterd on ao3 and I also wanted to make a fic like that and I was wondering if you have any ideas on what I could write on. I understand it must be hard to write so much but I was wondering if you have anything you would like to see in a fic writen by someone else.

Hi! I'm so sorry for the late reply, I was camping 😭

I'm so honoured that you read my fic and were inspired to write something similar!

I've been brainstorming fic ideas all day 👹 so here are some of my suggestions depending on what you specifally liked!

If you like the tour setting, you could always write some tour shenanigans! Depending on the tone you want to convey, you could write about the Toledo concert for something fluffy, or post-pandapacalpyse for a recovery/angst fic! You could even play with writing about previous tours. I don't know what your headcanons are, but canonically they've been on at least one tour before '02 ('99, it's on the disk Miriam gave Mei), so it could be fun to write about what that tour was like. Since it's uncharted territory, you've got full reign to do whatever you want with that!

Specific Tour Ideas:

It's their first tour, and they're not used to being so close to each other all the time. Fic focuses on them bringing down each other's walls, and they go from coworkers/friends to family.

They're performing in Kitchner, and nobody can really shake the whole giant red panda thing. Could take a similar format, with the first chapter focusing on them before the concert, the second during, and the third after.

If the tour setting is too limiting, but you want them to still be doing boy band things, you could always write them doing a myriad of other things. There are plenty of promotional things they have to do (interviews, shooting music videos, recording songs in the studio, etc.) and all of those have been grazed upon at best by the fandom, so I'm sure many people would be interested in reading that. Generally speaking, there is so little content surrounding 4*Town, even in the fandom, that mundane interactions are just as fulfilling as larger scale stories.

Specific Boy Bandy Ideas:

I literally haven't stopped thinking about 4*Town messing around in the recording booth (If you don't write this, I will LMAO). One of the members is there alone, vibing with something they've written, and any number of members come in, and just,,, shenanigans. Messing around, trying to hit each other's notes, improvising, trying to make each other laugh, and they end up recording a lot of it. Maybe part of the amalgamation they made ends up on their next album, and the fans eat it up.

Filming a music video could have a similar, but a little more controlled vibe. Depending on the concept you come up with, the process could be,,, interesting. I'm imagining them in mermaid costumes right now, but you're definitely not limited to things we've seen in canon. They could be the school bad boys, or maybe filming something that the viewer is supposed to insert themself into (akin to the music video for One Direction's Night Changes). Of course, none of the members can take each other seriously, no matter what acting instructions they're given.

This one is a little out there, but what if 4*Town had a show similar to Run BTS? Just something that gives them an excuse to do weird things as a group in a controlled environment, so they don't have to worry about getting swarmed by fans (unless that appeals to you 👀 the angst could be juicy). Haunted houses come to mind, just because it's a pretty classic trope that, to my knowledge, has yet to be explored with 4*Town, but really, this idea goes as far as your imagination can take it. Could be a one-shot, or each chapter could be a different episode, it's really up to you!

Of course, 4*Town isn't always going to be on-duty. Assuming they actually like spending time together, there are many things they could get up while on a break from their promotional stuff. From what I've seen, this is the most saturated concept in the 4*Town subsection of the Turning Red fandom by far, but I still eat it up whenever I see it, so 😭

Specific Off-Duty Ideas:

Maybe I'm a little biased, because I just got back from a camping trip, but send them camping! There are so many shenanigans that can come from being out in the wild, and so much to play off of. Camping brings beaches, and hiking, and campfire stories, and importantly, privacy.

Domestic 4*Town!!! For something really relaxed, you could just write them at home! I don't know if you headcanon that they live together or not, but post-ikea trying to build furniture fresh after moving in together is an underrated trope. There's movie nights, baking, cleaning fics, or if you're feeling more angsty, nightmares, sickfics, and general exhaustion are all things to play with.

Then, of course, you have heavier angst. I'm currently 11000ish words into a plane crash fic for 4*Town, but if you also want to write a plane crash, please do!! It's literally my favourite trope lol, I can't get enough.

Specific Angst Ideas:

A stalker (either fan or anti) breaks into their hotel/apartment/house.

Somebody gets violent at one of their fan interaction events, and hurts one (or multiple) of the members.

Car accident, tour bus accident, plane crash (👹) literally any form of accident can be fun to play with, especially once you've established exactly how each member interacts with each other.

Finally, you could always do your own take on the Pandapacalypse! I wasn't the first, nor will I be the last to write 4*Town's POV, and there still is so much to explore! If there was anything you wanted to change, any headcanons to insert, dynamics to change, go for it! Nobody owns this concept, it's yours to do whatever you want with. Hell, you could even just,, write pretty much the same fic if you wanted to, or even missing scenes from it. I think I would cry if anyone ever wrote Aaron T.'s pool escapade from his perspective 😭 that would be so cool.

One super small piece of advice that you didn't ask for (but I've been dying to show off my notes LMAO) is to keep little headcanoned events in a document or notebook or something for reference! They're great things to reference as a bit of world building, and to make the members feel a little more well-rounded, since the only canon stuff on their personalities gives them one or two character traits at best. I'm just gonna,,, drop some of mine here 💅 for funsies 💅

T and Tae got kicked out of the hotel for being too rowdy on their first tour.

Aaron Z. doesn't like sleeping alone, and will stop at nothing to end up at the end of someone's bed.

Jesse is the secret third member of the menace line, specifically and only because he knows exactly how to make the members talk.

And some yet to be seen (but referenced in my next fic 👀) headcanons!

Robaire reads a lot of romance novels.

Aaron T. will whine forever about stubbing his toe, but if he injures himself in a way that could warrant a doctors visit? He's hiding it until he can't anymore.

Aaron Z. and Taeyoung go on hikes together.

Aaron T. and Jesse met because T. fell down the stairs at their agency. He found him laughing his ass off, ankle sprained, and ended up taking him to the doctor on-site.

1. samaya: oh hells yeah she's scary. samaya (sam) has more of a "i'll listen to anything" music taste. she grew up with two brothers who were into all the psychadelic, progressive and alt-rock scenes and eventually grew sick of it and gravitated towards electronica and tried to go all "i'm into super niche bands" kind of way, but dropped the act after she kind of grew an appreciative ear towards music in general. she joined her high school band playing keyboard and since they could only play pop songs mandated by the school, she kind of got coerced into listening to pop and exploring more experimental styles of the genre.

then when she got to her graduating year in high school, she began getting jobs at local places like cafes and pizzerias - wherever she could apply and got to explore a whole new arena of music. you'd have bands that focus on world music to opera singers to kids with synthpads, baroque pop, swedish death metal, latin fusion and so on and so forth. she kind of developed her own taste in those music genres by just taking an interest and specifically applying to work in places that have musicians come over to show their stuff.

she doesn't really have a "home base" artist or band that she frequently listens to. her playlists are categorized by mood. this appreciative tendency helps her kind of navigate a whole new crowd in college, where she's constantly learning new things and it helps her kind of meet new people and get into their heads. it isn't what samaya intended for when she decided "fuck favourites, I'm listening to everything" because mostly she wanted to keep an open mind to avoid confrontation, but it was a nice bonus ability to develop - to be able to get into people's heads through their tastes in music just solely from meeting new people. sam's not a sociable person but she loves talking shop with her classmates.

as for this "ability" of hers - it's more of a hit-or-a-miss. sometimes she's just going to have to accept people are complicated, which is why she can tell you where you might be in life if you're listening to <xyz>. for example, nora's a big abba fan but not consistently. samaya was able to point out she was trying so hard to stay optimistic about things when she felt she was losing everything w respect to the case, and threw her an extra scone on the house. her key nature is to empathize with people and it's easier to do so if you just listen to what they're listening when they're on their own.

and yes, it totally backfires sometimes lmao. she has this period of self-reflection when she's just listening to a lot of darkwave and peppered in the middle are just power pop anthems and she's like "wow, I need therapy right now."

2. skilner: okay okay i am so obsessed with this question SO MUCH. skilner doesn't have kids on his own. he has a sister who is a single parent with a six year old daughter, Kinsey. their family is kind of broken apart. skilner had a failed marriage once upon a time and between trying to escape his life of crime - being in and out of prisons, he kind of developed this "i have nobody" mentality and it kind of began eating into him. kinsey's birth and him reconnecting back with his sister kind of brought them together. skilner's sister, Lillith had a tough time too; bringing her daughter up and left to deal with a lot of debt after kinsey's father's departure from their lives. it was an absolute mess. once skilner got some of his life back together, he heard about lillith and kinsey and attempted to come back to their lives since they were his only family and he really needed stability even when he felt as though he didn't need anyone.

with kinsey growing up, skilner wanted to do better. upon pressure from lillith, skilner tried going back to night school to get a job but with no avail. then he tried a string of odd jobs, wanting to prove himself to his sister. about this time when he met nora and offered to help her out in exchange for a cut of what she'd make from the client's fees. he did everything and saved up enough money to get something for kinsey at least every year for her birthday. raggedy dollhouses from thrift stores, trinkets and books she'd like - one time he taught her how to sew - which only made lillith horrified because kinsey was only two at that time.

skilner's had a tough life. he's old enough to be somebody's grandfather, and yet agile enough to throw hands with anyone. he's never had a proper life doing anything; getting into drug dealing at a young age, never going to college and just living in between prison sentences. he didn't have a proper life until he reached his mid-40s, early 50s and that was the toughest period in his life. he couldn't help lillith either - she was struggling in her 40s, handling a baby she didn't want to have and knowing she was out of options to give kinsey up even if she wanted to. lillith was equally financially unstable. she spent half of her 30s trying to get out of an abusive relationship and trying to repair it by getting into more, hoping something might click. she didn't have family either and this baby, kinsey coming into both their lives was a massive shock. skilner had to put his life behind to help his sister no matter what.

even today they're still not out of the woods yet. skilner is getting old - he blames prison for aging him faster; lillith is a few good years away from retirement and they're both worried sick for what might happen to kinsey. still, they make the best use of what they have. skilner's janitor job helps with the rent. he babysits kinsey while lillith is out for work, helps her out with her homework and it's a learning moment for him too. skilner takes up more janitor jobs - cleaning the local church and parks, trying to get clean and building back his life after being an ex-con for most of it. he likes taking kinsey to work with him, especially to the parks. he teaches her how to forage, how to make fire, to ride a bike, throw a stick and wants to spend as much time spoiling her or being with this kid until he physically can't.

he also sees a bit of kinsey in nora too. what started out as a quid-pro-quo relationship quickly became skilner taking care of nora like she's his own daughter. they don't talk a lot since they live in different places and have different things to do, but when they cross paths, they talk for hours which usually ends in skilner going "don't fuck it up" and nora shaking her head in amusement.

3: Inam: I'VE BEEN DYING TO TALK ABOUT INAM FOR YEARS AAAAH okay okay AND IT'S so cool of Fiona being interested in IP law too!!! aaaaahh!!! inam comes from a family of stem-ologists if that makes sense lmao; specifically her paternal side is completely into botany and herpetology. she has an uncle who runs his own science journal. her maternal side is the exact opposite. none of them work in a stem field even if they have a stem degree. for example, inam's mother is a history professor (this brings up a cool new hc where inam's mom works at the same uni as nora's mother , alison used to work as a math professor), inam's grandmother and great-grandmother were all prominent architects, sculptors, entrepreneurs and writers. her aunt's an accountant for a pharma company, despite having a chemistry degree.

so inam grew up with the best of both worlds. she was influenced by her dad the most - getting into mechanical engineering because she loved loved design. her mother did a lot of research on middle age architecture - especially on how certain structures like pillars, beams, reinforcements evolved over time and hypothesizing how they may have been built for her phd thesis and inam was inspired to look into automobile and industrial design as her career path.

it all came crashing down in her senior year where when she was determined to get into a job and work, everyone else was thinking about postgrad. she ran in a lot of 'pretentious circles' by default as an academically-inclined student - even though she wasn't pretentious herself - but she felt like she ought to do something like that too, even though she didn't want to do a master's rightaway - not before having experience in the actual field. She did end up going for an internship for a bit, the thought of "something after college" lingering in her head and... absolutely hated the job.

inam knew she couldn't generalize the industry but she didn't like her introduction into the world. she talked to her parents about it and it felt like she was no good. she couldn't "fit in" anywhere despite having a good academic record. she tried research but it was going to take her a long way and she wanted to speedrun through her career and fast. a master's would destroy her mental health and she felt like she'd be losing time there too. she talked to people about it, she talked to guidance counsellors but nobody had a solution as to how she could "combine her love for design, be able to actually put those concepts to use and not having it be a research job that required a lot more specialization than usual or an industry job that she wasn't willing to take".

it was a tough period to climb out of - she lost her friends, she lost the trust of her parents who'd thought she was thinking out of her ass, she lost the faith she'd given a lot of people - including her professors in college who'd hoped she'd come back to do her master's degree. she was completely alone and had nowhere else to go. eventually inam did her own research- away from peer pressures. she didn't want to get into law. period. but she had to get some sort of a job to show her parents and friends she got her shit together.

and so she applied for a summer job at a smaller IP law firm (she was looking for something non-committed and could work in a contractor-esque part-time position) that had clients from startups, but in the IT department. inam had a decent computer science background and knew her way around 3D modelling which was particularly useful if you're trying to look at cross sections of designs. her expertise was taken note of by the senior partner in the firm, who insisted she try her hand at IP law.

now law school's expensive. inam's parents took some convincing but they were more worried about her "wasting her 20s" when she'd always wanted to work in the industry. they insisted she try her luck with the lsats but made her promise if it doesn't work out, she's going back to school to finish her postgrad like the original plan went. her parents were more afraid she'd make stupid decisions if she were to get so swayed easily, but they let her give her shot at this because they too were curious if iman was cut out for law - specifically IP law and if she could find a place for herself there. iman got an lsat score of 167 and got accepted into a jd law program (still haven't figured out where she goes) and her parents, once they saw the numbers on paper, decided this seemed to be worth a risk.

and boy did it pay off really well. iman would go on to work in a prestigious ip law firm, with the entirety of new york's business district wrapped around her finger. it was a turbulent path to figuring out what she wanted. she realized she can never "truly like" something or "belong somewhere". she'd just have to drive on the road and see where it goes.

Do you often find yourself eating just because you're bored? Hmm, not really. I usually feed myself only once the feeling of hunger starts to become too uncomfortable. As for being bored...I have a small stomach as it is (even when hungry), so eating when I’m not even craving anything would typically make me waste food, which I never want to end up doing.
