This is an updated version of the previous edit, I added more Asami here, can’t ignore asami’s bad ass moments! When I first witnessed Korra and Asami walk through that portal, I was losing my mind. As were so many others, many of y’all on this very site. My love for Korrasami, didn’t start here, it started with my friend in high school, but it sure evolved to new depths here. You all kept me hopeful. Whether it was @chongthenomad whose remixes of ATLA & LOK impressed me and changed the way I interacted with fandom. Whether it was the reactions, both in a text post and video, of this day, that brought the biggest smile on my face. I couldn’t ever really put into words, what this moment, and this universe stood for, meant so very much to me. It wasnt until earlier this year, that someone put what this show means to me into words, and brought all the feelings back in like a dam breaking. The joy, elation and the surprise, to see them, not just as friends but as something more, something that I had NEVER dreamed would happen. Something I had protected my heart against, because who could have guessed that it would have happened, and in such a decisive way. The longshot, the crackship that went all the way to cannon. What I remember the most was that when this moment happened, I had just come home from winter break, and even though I had wanted it, I hadn’t even dared to get my hopes up. I had even told the people in my dorm, that when I came back I would either be so happy, or sad. So I leave you with these words, words that summed up that night, and that moment as I watched these two dorks go on their well earned vacation. “We Loved this universe, and it loved us back. I think my main reason for shipping Caranthir and Haleth is because we need at least one inter-race Tolkien couple where the human is a woman. dw is a mid kid's sci-fi tv show and it's quality level has been mostly entirely consistent (mid, basically, with the occasional very good episode to balance out with crimes against humanity it sometimes produces) the whole reboot, and anybody acting like the Only thing going into peoples opinions of the characters are writing preferences are either Deeply naive or are trying to hide something they know people will not take kindly to.

as sleezy as possible. their "odd couples" are mostly hot people with a few weirdos thrown in for shock value, and then they intentionally try to stir up drama and attempt to coach people through cheating on each other. like they tell konan to get into a hot tub with a hot guy (he's marketed as a weirdo bc he has tats) and they're very explicit it's because they want to make it look like she's cheating on tori. they push alcohol on them and actively harass people off camera to make their behave worse. tori is thriving
