INDICATIONS OF BEING A GREAT ENTERTAINER
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They can seemingly do it all. The can sing dance and captivate an entire audience with just their presence alone. How do they do it? Does their natal charts and persona charts give an explanation?
I looked at a few different celebrity charts who are considered to be some of the greatest if not the greatest entertainers in music /of all time. I also just made predictions based off my own knowledge.
THE ASTEROIDS

Identifying Your Prominent Godly Objects
As always, recorded for me, published for you. Hellenic and Vedic options listed, though I usually research using Vedic. I encourage experimenting with both. Refer to bio.
Contains information on which charts to consult, the meaning of conjunctions between godly objects and major objects, and the meaning of other major aspects involving godly objects. If you're not sure what I mean by godly object, refer to this post!
Determining Godly Prominence: Why, Where, What
Should you believe in the god represented by the object, this is...
Where to Look I determine prominence based on object conjunctions to major objects in the D1, the D7, the D9, the D12, and the D20, or 1st, 7th, 9th, 12th and 20th harmonics. Conjunctions in one of the latter four charts to one of the major objects make it important enough to look for in the natal. Conjunctions in the natal make it important enough to check for in the latter four. (The D1/1st is the natal.)
What to Look At Conjunctions in the D1 are immediate and innate blessings, from birth or early in life, instilled prior to maturity. In the D20 conjunctions signify blessings earned through mutual worship between god and native. Conjunctions in the D7 are blessings earned by one's contributions, creations, and conceptions. Conjunctions in the D9 are blessings of destiny through time - earned by surviving, finding the soulmate or soul's purpose, fulfilling one's fate.
Why to Look These conjunctions infer a god's blessing and kinship. A blessing is not necessarily a promise of happiness, greatness, or success - only the correlation to the god's domain and the god's stories. Many who have been blessed by a god have suffered, sometimes as a result of that blessing, sometimes in ways totally unrelated. Still, it's important to look now so that when circumstances involving the god's domain arise, one is already aware of how it features in the chart, if at all.
I nearly never refer to Harmonics differently than Divisional charts when the charts are the same, but I suggest referring to Cochrane or someone similar if that's how you prefer to do things.
Object Conjunction Meanings
Should your godly object be in...
Conjunction with Ascendant This suggests a godly blessing over your intrinsic being. You are infused with the god's domain. There is no precedent for you being this way - you were not caused to become this way by outside forces. You simply are, by your very Nature.
Conjunction with Moon This suggests a godly blessing over your inner world. That includes your mind, your emotions, and your past. This god's domain is your home - it nurtured you when you were neglected. This aspect suggests a personal history and a childhood that parallels or connects to the god in question.
Conjunction with Sun This suggests a godly blessing over you in the grand scheme of things. Your choices heavily impact the realm of the god in question, and your path in life is tied to them. This is a strength you grow into over time, as a result of your nature and how you were nurtured combining.
Conjunction with Mars This suggests a godly blessing over your motivations. Whatever it is you prize in life, whatever drives you, makes you passionate, is linked to this god's heavenly domain. You'll find them in playmates, flings, and your self image.
Conjunction with Mercury This suggests a godly blessing over your ability to observe and communicate. Both your use of language and the messages you strive to share with others will be touched by this god. You'll find them in siblings and peers.
Conjunction with Jupiter This suggests a godly blessing over your beliefs and your personal divinity. This god influences what you worship and how, but may also, in a way, worship you. You'll find them in your elders, your mentors, and your spouse.
Conjunction with Venus This suggests a godly blessing over your ideals. You may look to them and within their domain to develop your poise, and your sense of beauty. You'll find them in your pets and your partners, romantic or otherwise.
Conjunction with Saturn This suggests a godly blessing over your duties and status. This aspect is double-edged. It forces you to struggle and endure, but rewards you with mastery and fame in their realm. You'll find them in authority and officials.
Conjunction with Rahu/North Node This suggests a godly blessing over your wildest ambitions. However, be wary. This can also indicate a tragedy if one is arrogant. You'll find this god in your role models, fantasies, and famous crushes.
Conjunction with Ketu/South Node This suggests a godly blessing over your unconscious hang-ups. The god's domain houses your irrational fears yet also your comfort zone. You'll find this god in 'safe' people, or those 'not in your league'.
Conjunction with Uranus This suggests a godly blessing over your relationship with the public as Uranus is generational but asteroids often aren't. This god impacts how you fit into society. You will find them in communities and their leaders.
Conjunction with Neptune This suggests a godly blessing over your relationship with the collective subconscious. This god is how you connect to the greater humanity through the self. You'll find them in cultural and personal icons.
Conjunction with Pluto This suggests a godly blessing over trauma, often on a massive scale. You will take the role of this god in handling catastrophe and loss. You'll find them in those who enter, change, and leave your life suddenly.
Conjunction with Chiron This suggests a godly blessing over your unions and exchanges, especially your relationship with your partner. You'll find them in your soulmate as well as any others who cause or heal your spiritual wounds.
Conjunction with Vertex This suggests a godly blessing over your Karmic Others. You'll find them in those linked to you by fate, who disrupt your world.
Conjunction with Antivertex This suggests a godly blessing over your role as a Karmic Other to others. You'll find them in the self when you change others' lives.
Conjunction with Ceres This suggests a godly blessing over your personal transformation in tandem with the cycles of life and death. They lead you through the dark. You'll find them in those you grieve, and those who assist you through grief.
Conjunction with Pallas This suggests a godly blessing over your skills and talents. You can search this god's realm for your own potential. You'll find them in those who endow you with gifts, whether through lessons or genetics.
Conjunction with Juno This suggests a godly blessing over your passions. You will be drawn to those blessed by this god, or whom resemble them, for better or worse. You'll find them in those you are magnetically attracted to.
Conjunction with Vesta This suggests a godly blessing over your practices born of devotion. Whatever you most solemnly hold in your heart - hobbies, people, ideas - will be tied to this god and their realm. You'll find them in your loyalest bonds.
Conjunction with Pars Fortunae This suggests a godly blessing over your fortune. This god endows you with luck, fortune, and good instincts in their realm. You'll find them in your happiest coincidences.
Conjunction with Medium Coeli This suggests a godly blessing over your honor - both in terms of image and service. This god will control your duty and fulfillment to the public. You'll find them in your professional life and reputation.
Conjunction with Descendant This suggests a godly blessing over your partnerships. In business, romance, and dynamics wherein the pairs define each other negatively, such as rivalries, you'll find this god within, astride, or opposing you.
Conjunction with Imum Coeli This suggests a godly blessing over your home life. Your most private affairs, and anything to do with your childhood, especially those you lived with and who you were around them, is where you will find this god.
Any other objects hold notably less significance, but can be referenced if the orb is tighter than 1ΒΊ.
Other Aspects to Look For
Conjunctions in one of the charts mentioned are necessary for a godly asteroid to be considered prominent enough to convey a blessing! But if you have a tight major aspect, here is what that might mean for you. All the examples given are natal.
Oppositions The god is magnetic to you. Imagine two opponents circling one another in a ring. You want to get close but doing so means inciting conflict or worse. You desire their attention, or the blessing of their domain, but they fundamentally oppose you. Check the placements of gods that are considered part of a pair with the god in question, or gods that are in some way opposed to them.
A good mythological example of godly object opposition would be Heracles, or Hercules. If we imagine his natal chart, his sun would likely be in opposition with asteroid Hera [103] or Juno, but then her husband, and Hercules's father, Zeus [5731] might be conjunct the hero's sun or Jupiter.
A real world example would be Courtney Love, who has Apollo [1862] opposite Chiron, the asteroid that rules wounds, healing, and soulmates. Music drew her and Kurt Cobain together magnetically, but their relationship also directly counteracted the good public standing, celebration, and artistic vision Apollo represents.
An odd example of my own would be that I have the planet Mars, synonymous with Ares who has no asteroid by that name, opposite Saturn. Ares's lover is Venus, who also goes by Aphrodite, and when I check asteroid Aphrodite [1388], it's actually conjunct Saturn - and so it is also opposite her partner, Mars/Ares, lol!
Another, more straight-forward (and even freakier) example of my own would be how I have Semele [86] opposite Jupiter, which conjuncts Zeus. Semele is the mother of Dionysus, otherwise known as Bacchus, with Zeus as the father, and I have Dionysus [3671] conjunct my Ascendant and Bacchus [2063] conjunct my moon.
Trines The god looks kindly on you. You are not blessed, but you are treated kindly in their domain. The aspecting object may also indicate a favored god from their lineage or retinue freely blesses you. The relationship is not necessarily friendly or familiar - it is more so indicative of light than warmth. The god acknowledges you with a nod, and perhaps a smile, politely encouraging you onward.
A mythological example might be Orpheus. If we imagine his natal chart, his Venus, Mars, Chiron, Rahu, or some combination of them might be trine Hermes [69230] or Mercury. The messenger god doubles as the guide of the dead, and also watches over travelers and thieves. While Hermes does not oft appear in original iterations of the myth, no doubt a musician who travels into the realm of the dead in hopes of stealing back his bride would have his nod of approval.
For my own example, I have Sun trine Ceres, so I check aspects to Persephone [399], as Sun rules the 5th, which rules children. It turns out I have Persephone conjunct my moon, which makes sense as I was raised the only daughter by a protective, devoted single mother, estranged from a warm father located a great distance away from us.
Squares The god challenges you, and you chafe against them. The god will force you to struggle before achieving success in their domain, and in your struggle you may be forced to seek allies either within their retinue or in the ranks of their enemies. Depending on placement specifics, and personal fortitude, this can contribute more substantially to success than a trine - but only in the right circumstances.
A mythological example would be Paris. I can imagine a great many possible squares formed between his Sun, Mercury, or Mars, with the asteroids Pallas, Athene [881], or Minerva [93], or even the previously mentioned Hera and Juno.
A real world example of both godly trines and squares at play can be seen in the chart of Tobias Forge, the founder and lead of the popular rock band, Ghost. He has Apollo, god of music, disease, and prophecy, square his sun and trine his Ketu/South Node simultaneously, so I check the Muses as potential retinue blessings and find he has Kalliope conjunct his Pholus, Klio and Urania conjunct his Neptune, and Erato conjunct his moon. More information on the Muses here.
Sextile Remember how I said that trines are more light than warmth? Sextiles are more warmth than light. The gods of objects with this aspect in your chart are amused by you and would like to entertain you in turn. They are not likely to offer divine intervention - they are more likely to lend a friendly ear or hand. Closer in bond, but smaller in scale - that's the effect of sextile from a godly object. That, and a flair for causing the native harmless troubles and mischief.
A mythological example would be the bonds between, Dionysus Hermes, and Apollo - they do not intervene on each other's behalves, no, but they are friendly with one another, perhaps even lovers. This well displays the trickster tendencies of sextile aspects as well - these three gods were fond of egging each other on and messing with each other's heads. Note also, that Gemini, ruled by Hermes, and Leo, ruled by Apollo, are sextile signs!
A real world example would be Madame de Pompadour, who had Athene sextile Venus, establishing a playful connection between rationality, wit, and reason, and the romantic ideas and endeavors of the native. Further research reveals she actually also has Eros conjunct her Mercury - turning the playful link between intelligence and passion into a solid and indisputable connection.
Quintile A strange connection which indicates that the native and the god have a unique role to play to one another - them in your life and you in their domain. I've found Quintiles to be entirely context dependent, but always complex to figure out. This aspect turns the correlation between god and native into a puzzle.
For a real world example, Trent Reznor, frontman of Nine Inch Nails, has Apollo quintile both his Mercury and his Pallas, and the lyrics of his songs are provocative, inciting controversy but also undeniably iconic. (If you haven't listened to Closer, go do it... Also, now's when I remind you that my blog is 18 and up.) He also has three Muse conjunctions, with Kalliope conjunct Juno, Klio conjunct Pars Fortunae, and Euterpe conjunct his Sun.
Thanks for reading - I hope that this was insightful and useful. Feel free to send asks, messages, replies, or reblogs with questions about specific placements or general clarifications. β™‘β™‘β™‘β™‘

Dionysus is the Greek god of wine and festivities and has the power of driving mortals insane. In my opinions, wherever this asteroid is in your chart can show how you are when intoxicated/drunk

βŒ‚ Houses
Tumblr media
𐃯 1st: Loud and the life of the party, want all eyes on you, may become the centre of attention, may start getting into drinking competitions at parties, may become a little annoying to some people because they can become a little egotistical and start bragging about themselves, they also love talking about themselves when drunk.
𐃯 2nd: Possessive, they may become a little passive and isolate themselves in a corner, there's a tendency that they can get a little sleepy or tired as well. May not want to socialise at all and may want to leave the party early or if they're alone, will call it a day and do the irish goodbye, could also end up accidentally buying things (me lol).
𐃯 3rd: My cousin has this placement and she gets so chatty when she's intoxicated, she will go on long never ending rants about any topic under the sun. May get really giggly and flirty, at times may even gossip quite a bit about others, love meeting new people and socialising especially at parties.
𐃯 4th: Can get a little scattered and get very emotional, a little bit of a crier and all their emotions get amplified, big laughs, big cries, just feel everything all at once. You can become very appreciative of your friends and can become a little lovey-dovey as well as clingy.
𐃯 5th: So much fun, larger than life energy, they kind of become the host, will talk to everyone, mingle, the type to be in the middle of a dance circle and absolutely kill it. May become dramatic but it's humorous and playful, may also talk/think about their plans for their future in regards to their family life when intoxicated.
𐃯 6th: Can become a little cranky and irritable over small things, can feel uncomfortable so they may not drink or indulge in general, the type to be the mom friend even and may like taking care of others even when they need to more, helpful, compliments flow easier but they can also become a little candid with their speech (a little mean).
𐃯 7th: My friend has this and they do start thinking about their past relationships and ranting about their exes, also the kind to dial their exes but overall so much fun, they love to tease others, and can get really creative when intoxicated, especially when it comes to aesthetics. Also make friends so easily holy shit it's insane, need to teach me how!
𐃯 8th: May like playing games related to gambling to be honest, they'll not be very different from how they usually are and may have a high tolerance, seem calm and composed, can make impulsive monetary decisions as well. Can come off as a bit intense when drunk, emotionally like in a good way they may make big emotional decisions too like telling someone they love them romantically.
𐃯 9th: They start talking about life and existence and very philosophical topics, I've met some people with this sign who get really political and at times get kind of pushy about their views and opinions. Fun to talk to if you want to know their opinions on life and what it means, can get sleepy quite fast frankly speaking.
𐃯 10th: Emotional, can become a little demanding and authoritative, ordering people around low-key. Can be kind of a party pooper because I see 10th house Dionysus as people who can get a little angry/aggressive when drunk and also a little selfish, for example if they're at a party with their friends they won't let them talk to other people or something along those lines.
𐃯 11th: Honestly my personal faves, they're so creative and the ideas they have are brilliant, they would probably love talking about stuff related to the science fiction or fiction in general. They get extremely social and are the type of people who would get a lot of numbers if they want, would also make a lot of new friends, they may get cold easily when drunk/intoxicated too.
𐃯 12th: Get kind of lost in their own world, they unintentionally ignore people because of how consumed they are with their own thoughts, can get really silent and passive, and may get very distracted and sort of unaware of their surroundings, bumping into things unintentionally and stuff like that, maybe daydreaming a lot.

Fame indicators in the charts of kpop idols
Tumblr media
Important places/asteroid I look for:
5th house
1th house
2th house
3rd house
4th house
6th house
9th house
10th house
11tg house
12th house
Asteroid "Fama" (408)
Asteroid "Singer"
Asteroid "Apollo"
Asteroid "Talent"
Asteroid "Dionysus"
Venus
Asteroid "Jobbe"
North Node
Part of fortune
Jupiter
Vertex
Asteroid "Destinn"
Lilith
Neptune
Uranus
And degrees!
1st house of self:
Tumblr media
Neptune/Venus 1st house
This placement can not only be a beauty placement but one of creativity and music too as Neptune and Venus can rule over music (Same applies to Pisces and Taurus/Libra first house)
Dionysus and Apollo in the 1st house=BORN PREFORMERS. And talented musicians too
Singer in the 1st house/Aries
2nd house of the voice
Tumblr media
Venus, Singer, Dionysus, Apollo, NN and Destinn, Talent, PoF, Vertex Jupiter, Mercury Fama and Jobbe in Taurus/2nd house. Especially if they are conjunct their big 6. Moon in the 2nd house can also give singing skills. And Venus can indicate making money from singing as well.
3rd house of writing and communication
Tumblr media
Venus, Talent, Jupiter and Mercury in Gemini/3rd house can make someone a fantastic writer. Also 3rd house can represent TV, and media in general and lots of kpop idols are famous due to social media.
4th house of the home
Tumblr media
Pluto and Uranus in the 4th house. (Scorpio and Aquarius/Pisces)
Jungkook has a Scorpio 4th house and Jihyo has Uranus 4th house. Both had an unconventional childhood and we're spending their young years training to debut and it must have been a transformative period for them.
5th house of Creativity
Tumblr media
ANY fifth house placement literally ANYTHING.
6th house of routine
Tumblr media
ALOT of kpop groups/idols have 6th house placements it makes sense given the intense routine kpop idols have. So placements I'm sure idols would have are Jupiter, Venus, Singer and Jobbe. (Enhypen has Asteroid Singer in their 6th house)
9th house of travel and expansion
Tumblr media
If I were HYBE's astrologer I would debut their groups under Sagittarius season lol. Sagittarius literally rules over luck and expansion so a group with Sagittarius placements can have more luck (like Enhypen and IVE). So Jupiter, Venus, Fama are really important here! (Same goes for placements in Sagittarius).
10th house of career
Tumblr media
Any placement is good here honestly, but ones I see a lot are: Sun, Venus, Uranus, Singer, Jobbe, and Talent. Also if they are conjunct MC.
11th house of groups and internet
Tumblr media
This House is important for idols because it rules over groups. So Vertex, Destinn, Venus, Sun, Singer, and Fama are some main key factors here.
12th house of music and foreign lands
(can't include more gifs ugh)
Again any placement is important here. Jungkook has his Fama in Cancer and you all know how it went down for him lol...
Important Signs/ rising signs I've seen idols have:
Libra (Charismatic, music, beauty)
Taurus (beauty, music, singing)
Pisces (Beauty, music)
Aquarius (Especially in the 10th house, can also rule of creativity.)
Leo (Just plain fame, SO MANY idols have a Leo placement.)
Gemini (Great song writers but also great stan attractors. Can make great centers)
Sagittarius (Again great stan attractors, charming and also rules over luck and success)
Important Degrees:
1, 2, 5, 7, 11, (a lot of idols and groups have 11 degrees in their charts) 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 27, 28, 29.
Phew that was a long post! Let me know what you find in idols charts too! You can ask me to guess the rising signs idols without birth times and their ideal types in my ask box. Have a great day :)

Astrovations #16
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dionysus (3671) in the 12th - can show someone who can get easily swept into addictions or be quite affected by whatever drug they choose. Saw this in a relatives chart
PoF (Part of Fortune) in the same sign as one of your big 3/conjunct sun or moon works too/also ascendant - Can really make a developed house. Let's make an example. Let's say you have a Moon in Scorpio but you also have your PoF in Scorpio. This can make you have the good and developed qualities of a Scorpio moon. You will likely be observant, able to hold secrets but without a price, non-manipulative, etc. If PoF is conjunct the ascendant then you will have a better first impression even if you make slight mistakes. They may go unnoticed or just slide by in some way. I've seen this amongst a friends chart and wanted to note it down just incase it made sense and I wasn't missing anything xD
Asteroid Angel (11911) opposite saturn - Can show angel guides who may come off in a bad light, per say?? If you've ever had those moments of "well do they really care? It just seems like I'm going through a mess. Like I'm all alone with no help" this is probably why. This aspect brings angels who seek to help you overcome karma more forwardly. They may come off as overlly stern sometimes but this is because they want the best for you. This doesn't mean they aren't gentle! (This can go for conjunct as well however-) also the angel could have very father-like qualities in their energy and hoe they approach your situations in life. Angel guides here are calculative and like you to take your time on your lessons or obstacles rather than speed through them
Chiron in 10th of IC Persona Chart - parents possibly struggled in career at some point or enough for it to be noticed
Significant Libra placements - I feel like most if not all people with these energies in their chart have been through some similar experiences when it comes to expressing themselves. I've had personal experience as well as met many people with this who have had at least someone in their life try to block their self expression when it comes to how they present themselves physically or emotionally. That being said you might have been criticized at times for how you dress "why that style?" Or "no, you're not wearing that you're a [gender]". Maybe it's your hair? "no no that haircut doesn't suite you" "you don't look good in that" The emotional route would be "your acting fake, stop", "grow up some and stop being so sensitive". Ohh oh let's not forget the fairness. I've noticed if they're treated unfairly they can get severely hurt emotionally. They just loath the idea of it honestly. They can't tolerate seeing it or being in it
Bacchus (2063) conjunct anothers Bacchus (Also possibly Bacchus conjunct anothers Ascendant/Sun // Synastry - I've literally seen these both love to indulge in each other, which is like a "duh" with how this asteroid acts 🀣🀣. Whether it be spending time with each other or just wanting to have any form of fun with one another. It's like they each find their sense of pleasure from being around each other, as if that was enough or they want more of them. If this is a toxic relationship then this can make a clingy seperation unfortunately
PoF opposite Chiron - Part of your fortune is the hardships you went through with your chiron placement. Chiron taught you enough to heal from it and grow. You may be well learned in the area Chiron is placed. This fortunate position can also allow you to easily heal others who went through similar Chiron circumstances and to see through their point of view. Your fortune is your challenges. They bring you growth and personal/soul development
AC conjunct IC//Synastry - I have this aspect with a childhood friend that's my closest friend still (kindergarten until now)
Transit Moon in the 12th house - I had his and went through a period of depression and insecurity. Then as it went on I began to feel better and come to terms with my emotions. It's like I needed to let out that emotional jar I had in me because it healed as I used them more!
Libra Risings - From what I've noticed have an innocent pair of eyes. Like even if they may seem slightly intimidating body-wise, their eyes hold a charm of kindness for some reason. I'd describe it as soft and welcoming
Salome (562) // Synastry - I've noticed shows what one finds absolutely captivating about another. It's something about the person that makes our heart throb and want to know more about to another level. Whatever one of their houses your Salome sits in, is where you just can't get enough of and vice versa!
Leo Sun - All the leo Suns I've met have some form of mischief in their personality. Teasing people and playing small pranks (idk why 😭)
Urania (30) in the 3rd - Has possibly tried to bring up astrology or astronomy in conversations before. They enjoy talking about it in general and can actually feel motivated to write notes on it or start observations at some point (I have this :)
Saturn opposite Uranus // Synastry - I've seen this aspect where the Saturn person constricts the Uranus persons freedom in some way. The Saturn person may be more serious when it comes to how the Uranus person goes out or spends their time. If the Uranus person has different ways of thinking that are unconventional or rebel how the Saturn person thinks then this can cause some heated debates. The Saturn person often feels like they should control the Uranus persons eccentric nature or style (it can be at a minimum or maximum it just depends on the chart) I've also seen where if the Uranus wants to try something a bit randomly or 'bizarre' with their routine or style then the Saturn person can point out why it wouldn't be a good idea or the Uranus person would regret it. This is basically a good example of one being more cautious or stern and the other being more laid back and 'free-spirited' in a way!
Shigei (8276) in the 4th - can show someone in your child hood who possibly collected items, was a hoarder or just had quite a clutter of things somewhere in the house. This can also indicate everything always being on edge slightly, like there's some type of issue arising just around the corner more often
Pluto in the 1st/Especially conjunct ascendant - I saw someone with this and OH. MY. LORD. THE ENERGY. Ugh I can't even describe it. It's not bad (not for my scorpio venus at least πŸ˜πŸ’–) but like brO. The energy is sO heavy. Like anyone who can feel energy, y'all are in for a treat with these placements because- that's the only way I can describe it, is heavy. Powerful and striking. It's like someone extremely important is walking by and etc. It's a whole other ball game but I absolutely adore this energy. If the person also has a scorpio rising it just makes it more powerful honestly
WHICH ALSO LEADS ME TO BELIEVE // Venus - If someone has the ruler of your Venus sign conjunct their ascendant. You will most likely have a crush on them (EX: Scorpio Venus might fall in love or have a crush on someone who has pluto conjunct their ascendant)
Priapus (h22) conjunct Ascendant // Synastry - I've seen in different charts the Priapus person has a physical sexual attraction to the Ascendant person. However the Ascendant person may (as the Greek story goes) be unattainable. For instance, I saw someone had a sexual attraction to a celebrity and has this placement. They were Priapus, the celebrity the Ascendant which was unattainable. I have this synastry with one of my best friends. She is Priapus and has wanted to have a physical relationship with me and told me she loves me sexually however as the Ascendant person I am into women in a more romantic way personally (unattainable in a sense) we didn't end up getting in a relationship (still friends tho! :D)
Mercury opposite Mars // Synastry - Idk if I've said this before but just in case, definitely seen this in charts of people who bicker and start small arguments over petty things πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Saturn square Uranus // Synastry - Saw this play out where the Saturn person is restrictive of how the Uranus person expresses themeselves. Like the Uranus person was into new age stuff, liked eccentric styles and had new world beliefs, but the Saturn person wasn't into that stuff (was also quite traditional) and cringed at it often. Causes friction for sure
Synastry // How you view them and vice versa - Whicher planets of yours are conjunct another persons ascendant will show you how you view them (Ex - I have sun and mercury conjunct my older brothers ascendant, I generally see him as logical, smart, confident and funny) there are moments where I've seen this play out where both people feel the planets energy off of each other however I've seen more of the first scenario personally :)
Ascendant ruler in the 2nd house - May be a total foodie however very careful with how they look. So they may really enjoy food but if they start noticing any weight gain it will effect their self esteem
6th house ruler in the 8th/12th - Possibly a hypochondriac. 8th because the house can represent death and sudden extremes. 12th because it can represent the mind and anxieties, paranoia, etc. I'm not diagnosing just leaving the thought on the table ^
Random Observation - I have my ascendant at Scorpio 0° and I noticed someone who had pluto conjunct their ascendant and we have very similar styles, and first impressions on people it's cool but interesting! 😌
Jupiter opposite Venus - As stereotypical as it may sound I've actually seen someone with this be full of love. Always showing affection towards others very often even if it's out of the blue. This placement makes someone very sweet and caring πŸ₯°
Neptune - I've realized over time may actually indicate a place that we can be quite curious of. I say this because Neptune is known as the foggy planet, the planet that creates a mask to cover up the reality of a situation. Neptunes placement will show you where you may question from time to time. For instance, my neptune sits in the 4th, conjunct IC. I don't know much about my family history, I'm not close with my Mom's side of the family too much + I don't know anything really about my Bio dads side of the family. Not only this but there are snippets of my childhood blocked out of my memory, some things I remember as if it were HD and others are like murky water. In this house I catch myself being driven by curiosity to find out my ancestry, relatives, unspoken history, family 'secrets' or info that was never talked about. I will mention, I'm still finding out new info to this day
Uranus 7th house//Vedic Navamsa D9 - NOW NOW, I know traditionally Uranus, Neptune and Pluto are not used in Vedic, however I personally believe all the planets should be included as each holds energy, so I've added them into my own Vedic studies. So if you disagree dw I totally get it! You don't have to read on πŸ₯° on with the note, my mother has this in her 7th house of her Navamsa chart and she actually did get divorced. Now it took awhile (Saturns in the same house) however finally it did happen :)
This was kinda short imo sorry

Putting Big Things in Perspective
1. The Worlds Largest Oil Tanker - The largest oil tanker ever produced was the Seawise Giant which spanned 1,504 feet (458m). If placed in the main lake in New York’s Central Park it would only have 350 feet (106m) of extra room on the front and back.
Tumblr media
2. The Mir Mine - The Mir Mine located in Russia is one of the deepest mines in the world. The official depth is 1,722 feet (525m) deep. If the 2nd tallest building in the United States, the Willis Tower which is 1,729 feet (527m) tall was placed in the mine, the tip would only stick out 7 feet (2.1m) past ground level.
Tumblr media
3. The M-1 Rocket Motor - The M-1 Rocket motor was designed back in the 1950s for the NASA space program and would have been the biggest motor ever built had it been constructed. Its designed diameter was 14 feet (4.2m), or wide enough to fully cover a Smart Car with 2 feet (0.6m) to spare on either side.
Tumblr media
4.Β Pulmonoscorpius kirktonensisΒ (Breathing Scorpion) - Prehistoric arachnids were larger than today’s arachnids due to higher oxygen levels. TheΒ Pulmonoscorpius kirktonensisΒ was a species of scorpion that grew to 28 inches (71 cm) long, or the size of an average house cat.
Tumblr media
5. The Largest Radio Telescope in the World - The biggest radio telescope to date is the Chinese Guizhou province telescope that is 1,600 feet (487m) in diameter. If placed in Las Vegas it would cover half of The Mirage, all of the LINQ, all of Harrahs, and most of The Venetian.
Tumblr media
6. The 2.6 Trillion Dollar Rock - The Dionysus asteroid is part of the Apollo asteroid belt. The Dionysus asteroid is estimated to be 1.5 km wide or 4921.26 feet. The value of the resources estimated to be within the asteroid is around $2,600,000,000,000. If the asteroid was placed above the Golden Gate Bridge, it wouldn’t even surpass the bridge span.

Lottery Winning Asteroids
LOTTERY WINNING ASTEROIDS
While this isn’t an exhaustive list of asteroids that may be prominent in the charts of lottery winners and their winning charts, these are the asteroids that I worked with. They are basically in alphabetical order with the exception of the first one, Varuna, because it, along with 1996 TL66, appear to be more instrumental in the biggest wins than any of the others. I prefer a one-degree orb, but two degrees is seen more often. Find a complete list of asteroids at Astro.com. I've provided their catalog numbers for your convenience.
Varuna #20000
Hindu deity equivalent to Christian God. Supreme. The biggest, most powerful. To grow big. Like Jupiter size XXL. Too large to comprehend.
1996 TL66 #15874
Supposedly good in aspect with Eunike. (I have not found this to be the case any more often than with any other β€œwinning asteroid," but test it for yourself.) Associated with negative energy and decline of income in transit – even the favorable ones, according to Mark Andrew Holmes, and yet, it does appear to be one of the most active asteroids associated with lottery winners who have won huge sums of money.
1998 BU48 #33128
Sometimes called Bim. β€œFirst choice in money astrology.” One proposed name is β€œAlastor,” one of Hades’ four horses. Hades = Pluto = β€œrich man” in Greek. Mark Andrew Holmes and/or Phillip Sedgwick associate it with confidence in professional pursuits, the power of money, comfortable with money, self-esteem regardless of success, flaunting success and wealth, materialism, wealth and success as a prop for self-esteem, money and capitalism as a manifestation of realistic thinking. No disrespect, but not sure I buy this. If this were the case, it should be YUUUUGE in Trump’s chart, yet it does nothing at all. It doesn’t even hit a midpoint. It does, however, appear to be active in some lottery winning charts.
2001 BL41 #63252
A/k/a Cornucopia. Horn of plenty. Endless Bounty.
Abundantia #151
Roman goddess of sudden wealth, abundance, prosperity, good fortune. Serves from a cornucopia that provides food and money endlessly.
Bacchus #2063
A/k/a Dionysus. Wine, libations, dance and good times. Known to wear leopard or tiger skin (so you might want to do the same when you buy your ticket). Protector of those who don’t belong to conventional society. Chaos, danger, frenzy, the unexpected. Unforeseeable actions of the gods. Liberator. Frees one from self-conscious fear and care and subverts the oppressive restraints of the powerful. Mad, bad and dangerous to know.
Buda # 908
A form of Buddha, or Laughing Buddha. Wealth, good luck, auspicious energy, joyful blessings.
Eunike #185
A/k/a Nike. Strength, speed, happy victory.
Eureka #5261
Archimedes first exclaimed β€œEureka!” when he discovered the principle of density while trying to discern whether the goldsmith of Heiro II, King of Syracuse, was substituting silver for gold in the royal jewels. In Greek, it roughly translates to β€œI found it!”
In more modern times, during the California gold rush of 1849, prospectors yelled, β€œEureka! I found it!” whenever they struck gold. While it’s rarely used anymore, we still know it to mean a β€œbreakthrough” leading to wealth.
Fortuna 19 #19
The wheel of fate and fortune. Don’t confuse it with the Arabic Part of Fortune.
Gold #4955
Self-explanatory
Golden #4423
Self-explanatory
Ops #2736
Where we meet hard realities. Optimism after challenges. Hope after hard times. A brighter future.
Shreya #33188
Auspicious, best – another name for Lakshmi, Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune and prosperity.
Rockefellia #904
A form of Rockefeller. The surname of one of America’s wealthiest dynasties.
Rumpelstilz #1773
The ability to spin straw into gold.
Samadhi #12472
Deep meditation, a kind of Nirvana. A state of being out of the body, which might happen for a moment if you learned that you won a unimaginable amount of money.
Silver #5325
Self-explanatory
Tyche #258
Goddess of luck

ariadne, the abandoned helper (asteroid 43)
Tumblr media
Daughter of Pasiphae and the Cretan king Minos, Ariadne was most known for her role in the myth of Theseus with whom she feel in love. Theseus was one of the many heroes who Minos meant to abandon in the Labyrinth with the Minotaur. But Theseus was a rarity in the Labyrinth as he volunteered to be sent in and kill the beast. Ariadne provided him with what he required as she was lovestruck by the hero. Theseus was capable of slaying the Minotaur with the sword she gave him and with a golden ball of thread, he found his way out of the Labyrinth. After this point in the myth, there are two popular endings: in one she hangs herself after Theseus abandons her, and in the second Theseus takes her to the island of Naxos and leaves her there to die. In the both versions, she is recused by and ends up marrying Dionysus. IN MY OPINION Ariadne in your chart represents a) where you give everything you have, b) what you lose when facing romantic rejection, c) where you easily fall in love, and/or d) where you must first face rejection in order to find love.
Tumblr media
i encourage you to look into the aspects of ariadne along with the sign, degree, and house placement. for the more advanced astrologers, take a look at the persona chart of ariadne AND/OR add the other characters involved to see how they support or impede ariadne!

Asteroid Pan in Natal and Synastry Charts
Once again, this information is compiled for my use and posted for shared convenience. Read my bio for a disclaimer and practice common courtesy if you're interested in using my words or work.
Tumblr media
To start, we have to understand the context of Pan, whether as a mythic figure, a divine patron, or both.
Pan is a rustic god, whose domain extends over shepherds, hunting, panic, and folk practices, especially of music or prophecy. He is a companion to Dionysus, and travels with his nymphs.
πŸ‘ Often, but not always, he is depicted as a satyr. Other times, he is represented with horns, but no hooves. Still other times, he is shown as humans, but in the company of satyrs, as well as normal goats.
πŸ‘ He is mischievous, a giver of terror, as well as an eager pursuer of love and pleasure. But he is also a guardian of flocks, a practitioner of animal husbandry, so he is not entirely flippant and impulsive.
πŸ‘ Essentially, Pan was a playful, festive spirit who enjoyed toying with the nerves of strangers and engaging in bestial mating rituals, but he also fully committed himself when guarding the vulnerable. He likes to watch people squirm, but he doesn't want to see the innocent flock actually harmed. Thus...
Asteroid Pan [4450] represents teasing, stimulation, excitement, and impulse control (or lack thereof). He also correlates to roles and relations based in pursuit, such as leader-follower and hunter-target.

Prominent natal placements of Pan indicate how such a position as his is fulfilled or obtained by the native.
For others who practice a faith that involves some form of the hellenic pantheon, I have listed how I interpret natal blessings from object-asteroid aspects here and are interested in my approach. You can interweave those basic interpretations with the ones I’ve provided and get a rough approximation of how I'd interpret the aspect.
Tight and significant conjunctions will create a sort of "wildcard leader" aspect to the native, empowering the native to vacillate between solemnity and joy when engaging with that role, while oppositions will invite a tension or controversy (that ultimately contributes to personal growth, if the native is healthy) from either pursuit of desire or acts of guidance.
πŸ‘ John F. Kennedy is a great example of a Pan-Sun conjunction native. A steady leader who instilled feelings of unity, known for his lustful pursuits, maintaining good humor in the midst of strife, but certainly someone who spooked certain contemporaries.
πŸ‘ Fascinatingly, his partner, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, has her own special relevant placement, a Pan-Venus conjunction opposite Pluto. Venus is the planet of values and is correlated to ideals and partners, so a conjunction draws her rational mind and physical needs to Pan-like personalities. Pluto opposition correlates this magnetism to her own generational traumas and transformations. That her Pan-Sun partner was assassinated sitting right beside to her? Worth noting.
πŸ‘ Beyond her connection to her husband, however, Onassis was also a leader of the flock herself in her time as First Lady, mainly in that she became the face of an aristocratic American style. While her status is permanently tied to the tragedy of her narrative and the shock of the JFK assassination, her light, 'tasteful' ensembles contributed to the guidelines of upper-crust American femininity.
πŸ‘ Meanwhile, Marie Antoinette had Pan conjunct Pluto, and we know where her indulgence lead her. Beyond the obvious tie from debauchery to death, this aspect also suggests a dread or anxiety tied to the concept of shepherding, or being in a position to guide.
A few other noteworthy individuals with Pan conjunctions and oppositions include:
Rita Hayworth, Machine Gun Kelly, and Empress Josephine all have Pan conjunct their Ascendant.
Lucille Ball's Pan is conjunct her Pallas-Saturn conjunction.
Pan conjunct Neptune was an aspect in Catherine the Great's chart. Meanwhile, Pan opposite Neptune features in the chart of Fiona Apple.
Pan conjunct Lilith is present in the charts of both Kurt Cobain and Princess Diana!
Marilyn Monroe's Pan was opposite her Vertex, and thus conjunct her Antivertex.
Tumblr media
Squares and trines create relationships between that planet's domain and acts of pursuit and guardianship.
πŸ‘ Like Jackie O, Tobias Forge of Ghost also has a Pan-Pluto opposition, but this is complemented by tight trines with Neptune and multiple Muse asteroids, as well as a square with Orpheus. In this case the aspect with Pluto manifests with an alternative influence on culture, as a frontman for a band which inspires both fanatical devotion and a consistent amount of controversy.
πŸ‘ His project itself is a mockery of the powerful institution that is the Catholic Church, but concerts and fan spaces are a place of comfort, and funds from a certain cover song are literally donated to a charity which organizes safe spaces for the vulnerable (summer camps for trans kids).
πŸ‘ Obviously, Neptune and the Muses correlate to art, which connects those Pan themes perfectly to his music. Even better, Neptune rules spirituality, delusion, and mystery. The band's theme is religious, and all members used to be anonymous until a dismissed court case forced Tobias to publicly identify himself, though all other members retain anonymity.
πŸ‘ Britney Spears's Pan is trine her Vertex, Sun, and Lilith, as well as being opposite her Moon. The trine aspects, especially with the Sun, positions a spotlight on her ability to collect massive amounts of fans (aka followers) by making her own choices, and committing to the honest, unapologetic performance of sensual, intimate power.
πŸ‘ The Pan-Moon opposition further speaks to her past and sense of self being in direct conflict with follower-following relationships. This may reflects her struggle to reclaim personal financial autonomy from her former guardians, but I'd shift focus to her relationship with the public, and how contentious it became when she tried to grow and leave her chaste teen image behind, prioritizing adult expression over imposed responsibility to censor herself to comply with outrage from parents.
πŸ‘ This contention actually fed into and fueled Britney's narrative: the rejection of her after she expressed her wild side empowered her to pursue her desires as a new type of female role model, one that had been slut-shamed but come out the other side all the more iconic and beloved. (There's a lot more that worth exploring there, too.)
πŸ‘ Liam Gallagher of Oasis has his Pan squaring his Sun, Mars, and Midheaven. Anyone who knows the fraught history of the band won't be surprised to see an aspect that promises challenges in how taking a leadership role relates to overall growth, animal instincts, and the personal pinnacle of honor.
A few other noteworthy individuals with natal Pan trines and squares (along with other placements) include:
Megan Fox's Pan is conjunct her Mercury, trine her Mars-Ascendant conjunction, and square her Moon.
Britney Spears's Pan is trine her Vertex, Sun, and Lilith, and opposite her Moon.
Liam Gallagher of Oasis has his Pan squaring his Sun, Mars, and Midheaven.

Major Synastry: What Synastry Aspects with Pan Mean
Synastry involving Pan indicates a relationship which instills anxiety, lust, and comfort simultaneously.
Conjunctions reveal a focal point of frenetic, kinetic energy in the dynamic. The Pan individual engages with the other's object like a big, red button that is begging to be pressed. They know it will fire up the other's nerves in whichever way, but it's just so tempting...
πŸ‘ For example, two natives with a double Pan conjunction share a raw and mutual lust, a desire to play chase with one another. This can mean quick, stimulating, and playful foreplay. Both also want to see the other person's desire. This placement doesn't necessarily want a hunt - it wants a game, some sort of race or play-fight where both members are equally participatory.
πŸ‘ It also indicates a willingness to play with each other's minds. On some level, both individuals like the idea of having the power to give the other a scare. They each like the feeling of messing with the other's head, no matter how much they care.
πŸ‘ House overlays are crucial for mutual conjunctions. I'm looking at a Pan-Pan conjunction that lands in one of the native's 12th every time, regardless of zodiac and house system. This empowers the aspect of fear in the relationship for this native. It also transfers their pursuit to the realm of fantasy. They may desire to take that role in the relationship, but they are more likely to imagine it than to actually act upon it.
πŸ‘ It also means the other person in the relationship may have no idea the lust is mutual. The 12th house native relegates it too well. This might frustrate the other, making them feel denied or rejected. They may sense reciprocation, but they feel a need to push the 12th house person until they break down and express it. But the 12th house native also won't be able to clearly see the other's playfulness and aggression for what it is: a signal of lust and even care, missed due to doubt.
Tumblr media
πŸ‘ For another example, Pan conjunct Saturn would give the Pan native an easy way to push the Saturn native's buttons. Saturn will clam up at any suggestiveness from or about Pan, mostly because any wildness they exhibit makes them feel less in control.
πŸ‘ Ultimately, however, Pan is a guardian of the flock as much of a member of Dionysus's retinue. Pan can contribute to Saturn's goals and take the reins when necessary. Pan makes Saturn anxious, but ultimately Saturn comes to see the potential for stability there.
πŸ‘ Saturn has major power to turn Pan on, but it takes a while to build. Pan may not consider Saturn that way at first, only to realize after some time that Saturn drives them absolutely crazy, and then they'll be hard pressed to stop fantasizing over them.
πŸ‘ Pan is a follower as much as a pursuer, and if Saturn accepts their advances, Pan will adopt them as one of their own, and be sure to care for them regardless of whatever chaos is going on. If Saturn shies away, Pan may get frustrated and lash out, or may try to tear down whatever stability Saturn relies upon.
πŸ‘ Princess Diana had her Pan conjunct the Pluto of Prince Charles, and Dodi al Fayed had his Pan conjunct her Ceres-Vesta conjunction.
πŸ‘ Diana's ability to garner a following is tied to the tragedies defining Charles personally as well as those of his generation. Diana's grief and devotion connects to Dodi's capacity as a pursuer and follower. If you know anything even generally about these three, you likely immediately understand how accurate this is.
A few other noteworthy pairs with Pan conjunctions in their synastry:
Empress Josephine's Pan was conjunct Napoleon I's Vertex.
Prince Philip's Pan was conjunct Queen Elizabeth II's Pallas-Pluto conjunction.
Nancy Spungen's Pan was conjunct Sid Vicious's Lilith.
Megan Fox's Pan is conjunct Machine Gun Kelly's Mercury-Pallas conjunction.
Tumblr media
Oppositions indicate a more fixed pursuer-pursued dynamic. There's a similar flow of energy, but it seeps out, and is both more confrontational and more indirect than with conjunctions. Pan seeks to provoke the other into revealing that part of themself.
πŸ‘ For example, I see Pan opposite a Chiron-Juno conjunction. This is already made more complex by the involvement of two objects, but essentially, the Pan native enjoys maneuvering the other into exposing their romantic hurts, and even gets pleasure from indirectly forcing them into embodying a spousal or sensual archetype. Chiron-Juno finds the teasing, erratic attention of Pan frustrating, both sexually and emotionally, but also compelling.
πŸ‘ So, that sounds really abstract, but how this plays out in real life, is we have a pair where one is always needling at the other about their experiences with relationships. Maybe the Chiron-Juno native is inexperienced, or has traumas. Once the Pan native learns about this, they find it hard to resist dredging those up whenever the chance arises. Something in them just likes watching the other squirm over their romantic insecurities.
πŸ‘ As for the second part, the Pan native will find it exciting when the other has to fill the roles represented by Chiron and Juno. This is the soul's caretaker (Chiron) and the erotic counterpart in body and mind (Juno). Combined, we see a mistress-as-missus figure, the second wife, or simply the erotic healer. Chiron's link to the 'hurt healer' and Juno's statistical link to infidelity and eroticism may also suggest the willingness of the
πŸ‘ Again, houses play a big role here. In this chart, Pan falls into the Pan native's tropical 6th and sidereal 7th, so the other's Chiron-Juno conjunction falls into their tropical 12th and sidereal 1st. The reason why the Pan native feels the need to push the other's buttons about is because they see the other's pain as something hidden from them that is key to understanding their place in this world, and yet also is a reflection of a crucial part of themselves, and so they feel the need to take control in their day to day interactions and of their relationship, specifically by exhibiting the leadership and predatory traits of Pan.
Tumblr media
πŸ‘ Let's look at another chart. I see Pan opposite a Pluto-Nymphe conjunction. Nymphe is correlated to nymphs, who commonly kept company with Pan in his travels. This looks like a relationship with both natural comradery and tension.
πŸ‘ The Pluto-Nymphe individual may alternate between playfully elusive and intensely confrontational. The individual is both drawn to and afraid of being captured or hunted, and exposes their wilder side when they want to intimidate others. Their visceral desires and bright spirits only make them seem more ethereal, and thus, out of reach.
πŸ‘ However, this only makes for all the more fun a game to play in the eyes of the Pan native. No ethereal spirit is above a good trick and no force of nature is too powerful to chase down, and besides, a target that positions itself as out of reach is only going to be more satisfying to take in hand.
πŸ‘ On the whole, the amusement and protectiveness that Pan brings can provide some much needed levity to the Pluto-Nymphe native's fears, but the opposition and the asteroid involved will make the link a magnetic, if at times humbling and challenging, one.
πŸ‘The Pan native will also encourage the other's sexuality, and may try to provoke, trick, or guide the other in their embodiment of raw sensual power as a natural force. In fact, the Pan native might be most delighted to find that when pushed to the brink, the Pluto-Nymphe native turns the tables and puts them in a position of prey instead!
Some noteworthy examples of Pan oppositions in synastry:
Napoleon I's Pan was opposite Empress Josephine's Lilith.
Prince Albert's Pan was opposite Queen Victoria's Vesta.
Nancy Spungen's Pan was opposite Sid Vicious's Pluto.
Megan Fox's Pan is opposite Machine Gun Kelly's Pluto-Lilith-Juno conjunction.
Tumblr media
I had originally intended to go into sextiles and quintiles in natal charts; squares, tries, sextiles, and quintiles in synastry charts; as well as how aspects to specific related asteroids play out, but I think that's a little ambitious considering everything on my plate right now. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoyed the post, and as always...
If you're interested in more interpretations of Pan in the natal or synastry chart (or even the divisional/harmonic charts) feel free to reply, message, ask, or reblog! I have a lot of projects I'm working on but I love to chat.

Asteroids for the Rejected and Abandoned Lover
Tumblr media
Please don't take this one literally and too seriously. These asteroids do NOT mean you or someone else will experience the same fate as the mythological figure.
A lot of these myths and stories end badly for the female character(s). But consider that there is a long history of writers and artists who created tragic female characters to highlight the tragic nature of their work or to explain a different phenomenon. This should not be a reflection of real life. I made this list just because I noticed a similar theme.
11, 171, 556, 209, 53, 43, 2212, 73
Parthenope 11
Named after Parthenope, a siren who drowns herself after failing to lure Odysseus
Her name means "maiden-voiced."
Hard time accepting rejection; overreacting to rejection
Ophelia 171
Named after Ophelia, the rejected lover of Hamlet from Shakespeare's Hamlet
Ophelia loses her mind when she finds that Hamlet did not love her; she drowns
Feeling a loss of innocence; what we thought was real is not real
Regret; a target for misogyny; retreating into the mind where everything is overblown
Phyllis 556
Named after Phyllis, the wife of Demophon, the King of Athens
When Demophon leaves Phyllis behind to help his father in Greece, Phyllis gives him a casket and tells him to open it when he gives up all hope of returning to her.
Some versions have Phyllis committing suicide when she realizes her husband will not come back; other versions have Demophon opening the casket and accidentally falling on his sword, killing him
Losing faith and giving up hope for a relationship; attachment issues
Dido 209
Named after Dido, the founder and first queen of Carthage (modern-day Tunisia)
In Virgil's Aeneid, Dido falls in love with Aeneas, a Trojan hero, but kills herself when he is ordered by Jupiter to leave.
Before she dies, she has a funeral pyre built to burn everything that reminds her of Aeneas and curses the Trojans, giving rise to the Punic Wars between Rome and Carthage.
Becoming vengeful when hurt; overreactions that cause disasters
Also clever, wise, a leader, passionate, volatile
Tumblr media
Kalypso 53
Named after Calypso, a nymph who wanted Odysseus to be her husband in exchange for immortality, but he refused because he wanted to be with his wife Penelope
She forces Odysseus to sleep with her and stay with her on her isolated island for seven years
Zeus, with the help of Athena and Hermes, tells Calypso to set Odysseus free
Calypso is upset but helps Odysseus with whatever he needs to leave the island
Her name means "she who conceals"
Hanging onto others for our own benefit; making something/someone fit into our plans; trying to persuade others to change their mind
Falling for someone who is already attached to someone else; being jealous
Feeling that life is unfair; getting the short end of the stick
Ariadne 43
Named after Ariadne, the Cretan princess who helped Theseus find his way out of the labyrinth after killing the Minotaur
Ariadne betrays her father and country for her love for Theseus, who was a sacrifice for the Minotaur
There are many versions, but ultimately Theseus leaves her; Ariadne then marries Dionysus
A labyrinth-like love life; love taking twists and turns; unexpected endings
Betrayal in the name of love or personal desires
Helpfulness cannot be exchanged for love
Hephaistos 2212
Named after Hephaestus, the Greek god of metalworking, woodworking, artisans, fire, and volcanoes
Hephaestus's mother, Hera, throws him off Olympus when she discovers he has a birth defect
He creates a golden throne for Hera that she could not stand up from once she sat down; the gods try to persuade him to free her; only Dionysus is successful when he gets Hephaestus drunk
Hephaestus and Aphrodite marry, but Aphrodite is consistently unfaithful to him with Ares, the god of war
He creates a chain net that falls on Aphrodite and Ares when they are in bed together to parade them in front of the other gods
Hephaestus and Aphrodite eventually divorce
Exacting revenge, big or small, against those who wrong you
Being outcasted by others; black sheep of the family/group
Talented and indispensable but looked down on or underestimated
Klytia 73
Named after Clytie, a nymph who loved Helios, the sun god
But Aphrodite makes Helios leaves her for another woman, princess Leucothoe, as revenge for Clytie revealing her affair with Ares to Hephaestus
Clytie, upset by and jealous of Helios leaving her, tells Leucothoe's father about his daughter's affair with Helios
The father buries his daughter alive, and Helios never goes back to Clytie
Can show where we are excessively jealous and vengeful

Been thinking about Life Series correlations/analogies/metaphors/mythology lately, especially in regards to the impact of choosing the planet Mars to represent the latest winner, Martyn. I wasn’t really all that fond of the idea at first, considering people like Joel exist and seem like a much more accurate representation of the God of War. But after my discovery of Mars Silvanus, the aspect of Mars regarding the forest, I find myself much more okay with it. In no small part because it opens the door for other Roman/planetary comparisons to be made with the players. For instance:
Etho is Jupiter. The youngest of the oldest, the one nominally in charge but also the one no one actually listens to. Washed up, but still strong.
GoodTimesWithScar is Mercury. Because Grian is the Sun, it makes perfect sense for Scar to be the planet closest to it. Not to mention Mercury is known for being a bit of a prankster, as well as a rogue. He is also known as the son of Jupiter (and sometimes also of Ceres).
ZombieCleo is Ceres. A little-known dwarf planet in the asteroid belt named after the Roman version of Demeter - who just so happens to be one of Jupiter’s exes. They even reportedly had multiple children together: Mercury, Persephone, and Dionysus being some. She is also considered to be the new name taken by one of the oldest Titans: Rhea. A Titan who some consider to be the mother of Uranus.
Impulse is Saturn. Lesser known than his brother Jupiter, but also very strong in his own right. A being who knows when best to go with the flow - and also when to summon the storm.
Tango is Pluto. The most derided of the three brothers, the God of the Dead. How very fitting he was paired with the most death-associated person in the entire series. And also seems to be the first of his brothers to die.
Joel is Eris. Yet another dwarf planet, but this time names after the Goddess of Discord. Also reportedly the child of Mars and Venus, yet usually found on the outskirts of Olympus/the Solar System. True parentage heavily debated.
Bdubs is Io. A moon of Jupiter, a variation of the name Iacchus (a version of Dionysus).
Skizz is Neptune. The son of Saturn/Impulse, yet a giant in his own right.
Jimmy is Charon. The Ferryman of the Dead. Enough said.
