something about the way people seem to look at max and billy’s dynamic as that of a parent and child rather than step siblings, something about how people see his behaviour towards her in this light and it skews the whole narrative, something about people thinking there’s a massive power dynamic between them for this reason, something about people comparing billy’s behaviour towards max and neil’s behaviour towards billy, something about how siblings do fight and do argue and do break each other’s possessions but because billy has been pretty much parentified by not only neil and susan but also the audience, people don’t look at their behaviour as that of siblings, something about how this adds to people not seeing billy as his actual age but rather a fully grown adult

Charlie Morningstar’s list of people to be aggressively kind to:
-Nobody, it’s so mean!
-Valentino. (Sorry Angel!)
-Adam, make him understand what I’m trying to do. Or at least stop being a dick.
-Lute, similar reasons at Adam. Maybe she just needs to hear me out!
-Alastor, so he opens up more!
-Vox? Try to work out what his issues with Alastor so he stops harassing the hotel. And stops telling Pentious to KILL HIMSELF.
-Katie Killjoy.
-Sera.
-People of Heaven.
-Susan.
-Angel’s brother, see if we can work out their differences!
-Angel’s father, maybe? Boundaries but also sometimes it takes that push like with me and dad? See what Angel thinks though.
-Person who made the Alastor body pillow, just… why?
-People who make them uncomfortable. Tell them it’s wrong and try to get them to stop.
-Vaggie said I should add people who make ME uncomfortable.
-People who say ducks suck. It really makes my dad sad. Inform them of the myriad of reasons why ducks do not, in fact, suck.
-People who try to interrupt my friends’ dates. Try to get them to leave.
Vaggie was right, being aggressively kind doesn’t work all the time. And while hurting people is bad, I may have to resort to different tactics if they continue to hurt people I can about. If this hotel has taught me anything it’s that morality is complicated, and nothing is worth my loved ones getting hurt.
Charlie’s would like to hit list:
-Exorcists (not ex-exorcists like Vaggie or those that feel remorse)
-ADAM AND LUTE. THEY HURT VAGGIE.
-VALENTINO.
-Anyone who uses Angel or tries to tell him all he’s good for is sex or touches him in any way he doesn’t consent to.
-People in Heaven who know about the genocide and continue to allow this to happen.
-Angel’s dad.
-Niffty’s ABUSIVE ex husband.
-Husk’s dad. (Why do all my friends have shitty dads?)
-Vox and Velvette for knowing about and contributing to Angel’s abuse.
-Anyone who hurts Fat Nuggets, Kee Kee, or Razzle. Why would anyone do that?!
-Anyone who hurts my family.
-Really anyone on the other list that continues to knowingly hurt others.
-Alastor for hurting and betraying us. I trusted you.
-WHOEVER is hurting Alastor.
-Mom
-Mom?
-Mom.
That’s all! :) If someone happens to find this list know that this is not with intent to hurt anyone! Just people I should really talk to…
But if talking doesn’t work…

He didn’t mean to hightail it straight to the nearest bar. He didn’t even know what a dive bar a was doing out in the fucking backwoods of Indiana, anyway.
Billy’d just gotten in a big fuckin’ fight with his old man, shimmied out the window of their new house, and started walking.
And he happened across a bar.
He didn’t have his wallet on him, rookie move, but he figured his black eye and three-day-old moving stubble might help him out a bit here.
The bouncer gave him an odd look, glaring him down as he approached, but let him pass without asking for identification.
There were motorcycles parked in the gravel lot, along with some sensible looking Mom Cars.
It was dim inside, and the floor was kinda sticky, but they were playing Patti Smith on a shitty jukebox, so he decided to stay.
He took a seat at the bar.
The bartender gave him the same funny look the bouncer did. She was one hell of a woman, her leather jacket had a pair of handcuffs sewn onto the front, she had her nose, lips, and eyebrows pierced. Her hair was greying and cropped into a very similar crew cut to Neil’s.
“What’ll it be?”
“Whiskey, please. And maybe a beer, Darling.” He winked.
She laughed.
“Honey, you know where you are, right? This is a fuckin’ dyke bar, and you’re no older than sixteen. You’ll have a pop and you’ll be grateful for it.” She had a slight southern drawl to her voice. Texas. Like his mom.
“Yes, ma’am.”
“Okay, quit it with that shit.” She scooped ice into a glass, and poured him a cola from the well. “Why you here? It got somethin’ to do with that shiner?”
He took a long drink of the soda.
He didn’t know if it was her voice, or the fact that for the first time in a long time, he was with his own people.
“Yeah.”
“Someone at home?”
“Yeah.”
“‘Cause you’re a homo?”
“Yeah.”
She smiled at him, although this one wasn’t the sad one he’d been expecting. It was understanding.
“We’ll, Baby. You come here if you ever need a safe place to roost, okay? We all know when one of our own needs saving. You come here, and you ask for Susan, and we’ll get your mind off that bruise.”
He took another long drink of his soda, but this time, to try and swallow down the stupid sob that was trying to force its way out.
“Thank you. I’m, I didn’t realize what kind of bar this is. I didn’t really know that people like us were out here. My dad, he, uh, moved us here. From California. He caught me with a boy.” He averted his gaze from Susan’s face, making patterns in the condensation on the side of his glass. Patti Smith turned over to The Runaways. Some women were dancing by the jukebox now. “He told me we were coming here so I couldn’t do any of that fairy shit.” He furrowed his brow on the last line, puffing up his chest in an imitation of his father.
“Just because people hate us more here, doesn’t mean we don’t exist. Queers live everywhere, whether people like your daddy like it or not. He can’t stop us from living any better than he can stop the sun from rising.”
Susan scooped some ice into a clean bar towel, securing it closed with the yellow crunchy around her wrist. She slid it across the bar to Billy, and he put it on his eye gratefully.
“Don’t lose that scrunchy. That’s my wife’s favorite one, and she won’t speak to me for a month if I give it to some kid.”
“Yeah? Your old lady a hardass?” Billy grinned.
There was something, so fucking good, about talking to Susan. Talking to an actual fucking grown up. Someone with a life, and a partner. A queer, like him, who actually found love. And, by the dreamy grin on her face, had found happiness.
“Hollie would yell herself hoarse is she heard you call her old. She don’t look a day over thirty-five, she’ll tell you. We’ve been together for over twenty years. That’s why she’s my wife. We can’t get married yet, but she’s not my fucking girlfriend. We’re not silly high schoolers goin’ to the prom, and shit. No offense.”
“Nah, I may be a silly high schooler, but I’d rather be dead than go to any prom. Especially with a girl. No offense.”
“Hey, you’re in my bar, and we don’t allow bad talk about women. Unless you ex-girl fucked you over. Then we talk a whole lotta shit.” She refilled Billy’s soda. “But you could always go with a friend.”
“I’ve lived in this town for four days, I don’t have any friends, let alone a beard. Maybe if I did, my dad wouldn’t’ve popped me tonight.”
Susan’s smile faltered a little bit.
“Sweetie, I don’t like to interfere. And I know that most of the time, getting CPS involved makes it worse. But Baby, are you safe? I know he hits you, but do you think he’d-” she trailed off. “I’ve just seen some shit, you know? Boys like you with fathers like yours. Boys that didn’t survive.”
“Everything my dad does, is because he’s scared of how people see him. He’s terrified that people won’t think he’s a great father or a respectable citizen. I don’t think he’d get that low.”
But, in truth, Billy didn’t know.
He’s been getting hits from his dad since he was a kid. And there are times when Billy had thought well, this is it.
But Susan was right. CPS never did anything but piss off his dad.
Susan looked thoughtful.
She grabbed a napkin, and pulled a pen out of her leather jacket.
“I’m giving you the number here. You call if you need anything. We take care of our own, okay?” He nodded in response. “Finish your pop, and get back on home. I’m sure you have a curfew to mind.”
Billy winced, looking up at Susan, feeling like such shit after her kindness.
“I don’t have my wallet.”
“Yeah, you don’t have shoes on either, Dumbass.” She winked at him again. “Holl!” She shouted towards the group of women dancing by the jukebox. “This little birdie needs a ride!”
A short woman came drifting over. Her hair was dark black, and swept clear below her ass. She could’ve sat on it and not noticed.
The scrunchy made sense.
She was short, much shorter than Susan, but she beamed up at her, turning to smile just as warmly at Billy.
“What’s your name, kiddo?”
“Billy.”
It was kind of nice, being called terms of endearment by these two women. He liked that they weren’t trying to pull one over on him. He felt safe.
Susan slid a set of keys to Hollie.
“Take Billy home, please. We don’t need him walking around outside.”
Hollie ushered Billy out of his seat, climbing in the stool herself to lean over the bar. She and Susan kissed over the bar, and that funny hopeful feeling washed over Billy again.
“You’re welcome here whenever you want, Baby. You’re not the first little gay boy we’ve had in here, and you won’t be the last. Don’t be a stranger.”
“Thank you, seriously, I-thank you.”
Susan beamed at him, sliding Hollie’s yellow scrunchy back in her wrist.

'IT'LL ALL WORK OUT'
Disclaimer: I'm honestly not a fan of Susan, but I thought this fic idea was cute!
Paring: Harringrove.
When Neil married Susan, he was against Susan adopting Billy, claiming the boy's real mother couldn't bother to be tasked with raising him, so no one should ever burden themselves with such a thing.
Susan, surprisingly, was firm in wanting to pick up the slack Billy's mother left in her wake, eventually Neil relented, and the adoption process was underway.
It's been four years, and a move to Hawkins, Indiana since Billy legally became Susan's child, something Max was displeased with initially, quickly became a comfort to her when she discovered what Neil did to his son. It had shaken her to her core, and when she relayed the information to her mother, the woman simply pulled her into a hug and murmured, "I know, baby. It'll all work out."
Max didn't know what that meant, or if she should trust her mom. But, she silently nodded, she had no real options here. She had to wait for the future.
The future as it turns out, was just three months later; Neil had laid into Billy with more fervor than usual, and when Susan made to step in, her husband struck her.
It hadn't detoured the red-haired woman, she continued her self-appointed task of checking on Billy, who was staring up at her with a look she's never seen on his face, a look no seventeen should ever wear.
She gave him a small, comforting smile, just as Neil got a fist full of otherwise pristine hair; his freehand raising to strike once more.
The action worked quickly in pulling Billy from his Susan induced trance with a start, his body moving faster than his brain as he lunged at his father, swiftly knocking the man to the ground.
For years, Neil's abuse had only ever been turned towards his son, and in truth he was grateful; because Billy doesn't know what he would do if it was ever Max on the receiving end. She was a child, she was his shitty little sister. Max, who brought him the stupidest (best) hoodies he owns, the fabric softer than any he had previously. Max, who despite hating Billy in the beginning, now comes to his room when she has a nightmare or generally needs comforting from someone other than her mother. She's the only person to hug him since the day his mom took off.
His sister who despite everything, tries so hard to show Billy someone loves him. She loves him.
Susan had tried to comfort him, but Billy always brushed her off. She never seemed to take it personally for some reason. Maybe because she knew he was afraid of what would happen if Neil even suspected Billy felt safe in their home.
The knowledge that Neil could hurt Susan was always present in Billy's mind, but he often wrote off his concern with a scoff. She knew what she married, she knew what he was like. It was her problem, not his.
However, seeing Neil actually hit Susan had set something off in Billy, because while she may have never defended or stood up for him as she had today; she still made sure he was properly tended to after encounters with his father.
If Neil sent him to bed sans dinner, locking him in his bedroom for however long, she would have Max sneak him a sandwich, Max was always more than happy to take said food.
The times when Neil kicked Billy out intent on making the boy sleep in his car, Susan always snuck a bag of snacks, blankets, and whatever else, into the bushes by their house for him to grab. Despite always going to Steve's and sleeping in the boy's guestroom on those nights, it still showed she was trying.
If Billy was bed ridden after his father caved his chest in, a few too many times, she would come into his room, soothe his pain with hushed words and gentle touches. Billy was usually too tired and in too much pain to reject her warm hands and kind fingers working through his curls after she'd patched him up.
Seeing Susan cradle her cheek, seeing Max sob at the display, finally gave Billy the nerve to stand up to Neil.
He doesn't really remember much after straddling his father, his fists flying rapidly, their intended destination Neil's face, but he does remember Susan scrambling to call 911. Remembers her soft words of assurance that Neil was down.
He remembers Max's look of relief as their eyes met.
He still feels the phantom hold as Susan tugs him from his place over his dad's limp frame. Can vaguely recall the frightening seconds he thought he killed his father before the man was gasping awake, his eyes widened with fear as they landed on Billy. He was actually afraid of Billy.
Everything beyond that was a blur, Billy doesn't really know what was said, or done. He just knows Neil was in police custody, something that would've left Billy parentless, if not for Susan having adopted him all those years ago.
Especially since his own mother had taken off when he was barely five, and relinquished her rights as a parent in the same breath she'd divorced his father.
He always wondered why he wasn't enough. For his mother or Neil.
When Hopper came by to ask if they wanted to press charges, both Billy and Susan agreed easily. It was the most gratifying decision Billy has ever made in regards to his father and the abuse he's endured at his hands for years.
Billy and Steve started officially seeing each other a few weeks after Neil's trial ended. Hopper saw to it that his father was hit with the max sentence for child abuse, and domestic violence. Both Max and Billy would be well into adulthood when Neil gets released, something that made the decision to be with Steve all that sweeter.
He hadn't wanted to come out to Susan, the lingering fear that she would object to her newly seventeen year old son being with a guy was too prevalent.
Though, technically, he didn't come out to her, she came to him one morning with her hand on her hip and a warm smile on her lips demanding he "bring his 'Pretty Boy' to dinner."
Billy wanted to be upset that she'd found out, but he was far too humiliated that it was his own fault she'd figured it out. Apparently calling Steve 'Pretty Boy' like it was going out of style, was a dead giveaway for the woman.
Much to Billy and Max's (dis)pleasure, Susan and Steve got along easily.
On Billy's eighteenth birthday, Max had barged into his bedroom, shrieking in horror when she was met with an eyeful of her brother and Steve in a slight state of undress, Billy had thrown a pillow in her direction, his voice rough with embarrassment as he shouted,
"Mom, tell Maxine to fucking knock!"
Both siblings froze at that, Max had a wide smile on her face, while Billy looked slightly mortified, his words echoing in his ears.
The look morphed into one of pain when Susan slipped into his room, her smile rivaling Max's with how big it was, "That's the first time you've ever called me mom…"
Billy swallowed thickly and nodded his head, though he refused to make eye contact with the woman, even when she was throwing her arms around his bare shoulders in an iron grip hug, "okay, okay, I get it! Can we maybe talk about this shit later, you know, when I'm not trying to get laid on my birthday?"
Billy wasn't actually going to have sex with Steve with both Max and Susan home, but their presence in the house definitely wasn't going to prevent Steve from watching Billy fall apart beneath him, especially not if the brunet had any say in the matter.
This had Susan reaching out to lightly slap his shoulder, a faux look of exasperation on her features,"maybe next time you or Pretty Boy over there will remember to lock the door, hm?"
With one last smile at Billy, accompanied by a wink, she then ushered Max out the room, Steve almost immediately leaping up to lock the door behind them; his face beet red when their eyes finally met.
"I'm fuckin' moving out." His tone was embarrassed, but there was no heat behind, no real threat to his words.
He wouldn't leave his sister and his mother for any reason short of them wanting him gone.

Welcome to Emory Attempts to Create a Series of Events Based Solely on the Trailers and Promo Pictures!!!
This is gonna be a long one. Buckle up bitches! (Excuse the shitty collages, I couldn't figure out a better way to include all the pictures)
So, I don't have a perfect timeline. We just don't have enough info for me to create an exact series of events. I think, however, I can piece together scenes and events that take place around the same time based on the costumes we see the characters wearing, especially Stede.
The really helpful thing about the promo pictures on the Warner Bros. website is that they labelled which episode each picture is from. So, we can tell from them that Stede is wearing a grimy white shirt with a red necktie in the first episode, which means the scene in the rowboat, the scene where Stede is sleeping next to Roach, and the scenes in the marketplace with Susan and Oluwande all happen in the first episode.
Tumblr media
We also see the picture of Ed's back tattoo as well as the picture of Izzy with his grimy makeup being listed for episode one, so I think the scenes in the captain's quarters we saw in the teaser will happen in episode one as well. We also see the Stede wedding topper, so I think we'll get our wedding boat raid in the first episode.
Tumblr media
In the second episode promo pictures, we see Stede in the Chinese inspired outfit which I think means Oluwande enlisted Susan's help to get them a ship in the picture of him and her together. I believe this also means that the pictures and scenes of the crew in these outfits means that these events happen around the same time, between episodes two and three or four. Which means that - because we see Stede wearing this outfit in the scene where Ed headbutts him - we will be getting our reunion within the first few episodes.
The events from Stede and the crew's POV (I think) is this: The crew enlist Susan's help and get dressed up in the Chinese outfits. This is also when they find Lucius. Stede has a heart to heart with someone on the ship and they eventually catch up with the Revenge. They plan on sneaking aboard in the middle of the night and the plan goes relatively successfully, leading to Stede and Ed reuniting. In the light of day, Stede sees the remnants of an attack on the Revenge (not sure what from).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
From Ed's POV in episode two we see that the night following the wedding raid, Ed has his sad time playing dolls. I think this is when we get those shots of Fang and Jim in the auxiliary wardrobe, finding him all sad and very much not over Stede. I think this might be when Ed decides to get his act together. The next day, he corners Frenchie and starts cleaning up the captain's cabin. He's still wearing his full leather get up, but unlike what we see during the wedding raid, his hair is pulled back and his makeup is less severe. Then, something happens and Ed gets hurt. We see him with a split lip and a cut on his cheek. I'm not certain what happens to him, whether it was just a raid gone wrong or maybe the storm, but whatever it may be, the Revenge gets wrecked and Ed gets hurt. Then we get our reunion.
Tumblr media
Next, I think, are the scenes where Stede is wearing the white shirt without the red necktie. We see him in this getup after he and Ed have reunited. Notice how Ed is no longer bleeding in the scene where he's talking to Mary and Anne, meaning his wounds are no longer fresh, so this scene takes place after the headbutt scene. I think we'll get the scene where Stede asks Ed to 'show him some respect, please' and then somehow Ed runs off to meet with Mary and Anne and Stede follows him, which is why he's so awkward when Stede shows up. Then we get Ed coughing on the joint and him and Stede having dinner with the pirate queens, during which Stede gets kissed for some reason.
Tumblr media
I think after this, Ed and Stede get separated again. If my theory about the red necktie being just an episode one look is correct, it means Stede sends the message in a bottle after they've already been reunited. So something must happen to Ed, which is why Izzy starts training Stede. We see a mostly-empty Revenge when Stede is swinging on the rope, and during this time, I think Stede will try to figure out which pirate captain look is right for him, hence the red outfit in that one scene and the sparkly coat before we finally get to our last look, the blue shirt.
Tumblr media
This is where the series of events is the least clear, but I believe all these scenes will occur during the second half of the season. Stede and the crew get tortured for some reason (you can see that this takes place on the Revenge), Stede gets his ear pierced, talks to someone about being a failure, and then we get our scenes on the island. We can tell these island scenes happen all around the same time because it's clearly the same island with the same foliage, and Stede is wearing this late-season blue shirt on the island. So, there will be a battle on a beach, Frenchie and Lucius sneaking around disguised as Naval soldiers (note the blue coats), and maybe even a mid-battle reunion.
Tumblr media
I'm not certain where the scenes with Ed and the mysterious figure factor into all this. I have a theory that maybe the Navy capture Ed and banish him to the island, but I don't think that's the case at all. I really like this one theory I read where those scenes could be a dream sequence about Ed facing his inner demons. If anyone finds that post, please let me know who made it so I can give them credit.
Tumblr media
That's the best I can do at this point without more info. I'd love to hear all of your guys' thoughts if you have any!

So according to not goldy the people who tag ministry in hundreads of numbers to tell them that a man is gay (mind you the man never came out as gay they just decided he's gay) and is forcing his sexuality to their fav are not the worst but people who yapp about jungkook calling jimin ugly is shitty on sns are the worst. Jungkook is not coming to see who's calling him what with not even 20 likes but when you tag ministry in hundreads of numbers they sure see it and want to look at dumbasses. If i remember correct someone on twitter themselves has posted about their interaction with officials and how they might look into it. Mind you they're trying to drag their own fav in the nastiest Scandal one could get in a homophobic country like sk but sure that's not worst according to not goldy.
And you can't go to jm's childhood to drag him neither you can go to his adulthood to question him cause guess what? There's Hardly anything to drag that man cause he's raised that way. a gentleman who taught others how not to be toxic mascular guy at his own childhood. He had that level of thoughts before even 18 when others used to go "men don't look at their selfies" lol. you can try all you want you can't drag jm. There's a reason he's called an angel by the fandom. "I can also go to jimin's childhood" you can't susan you can't. He's jimin.
"Persons who yapp about Jungkook calling JM ugly-"
When did Jungkook call Jimin Ugly????
Don't treat that as facts cos that never happened.
And most times he ranked Jimin last he ranked himself second to last so that's neither here nor there.
And I don't think Jungkook ranking Jimin last in looks is yalls issue. The issue is yall branding him AN EVIL HUMAN BEING, DEMONIZING him for teasing Jimin, playfully avoiding him on camera,
Ya running around people's blogs trying to convince them Jungkook lives in hell next to lucifer yall ain't shit.
Yall: JUNGKOOK IS EVIL
Your evidence: he teased Jimin when he was child.
THATS WHAT MAKES YALL BITCHES
Well if your problem is with Jungkook's toxic fans tagging ministries take it up with them. Jungkook is not the one tagging the Ministry so yall can leave that man alone.
That's hardly anything to complain about Jimin from his childhood....
YOU SURE ABOUT THAT???? LMAO
And when I say yall fools set Jimin up- you are no better than the JJK dragging their fave in one of the nastiest scandals in Korea.
So may be hop off that high horse?????
Yall and JKKs are the same breed cut from the same claw
And between them being homophobic and yall being child abusers, I'll pick the homophobia just as I will pick a bear over a man 🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂
Jimin is HUMAN he's done things that are equally problematic but guess what HE'S GROWN AND LEARNED FROM IT.
Yall need to stop stripping his growth and humanness away from him.
At this point you are just objectifying him.
Damn

A/N: this is my first time writing smut so I’m a little nervous. I also understand that Billy and Eddie were not in the same timeframe but Billy works for part 2 of this story. We’re also just gonna pretend that Billy stopped being an asshole once he graduated and that he gets along with the og cast.
Summary: you hate Eddie Munson, almost as much as he hates you.
Warnings: smut (badly written) , ooc!Billy, ooc!Eddie, drug use, sub!eddie, bitchy!reader, choking (m receiving), hair pulling, p in v, p in v unprotected (wrap ya meat kids), bad writing, haven’t proof read shit because I’m on my phone.
Pairing: Eddie Munson x female!reader, Billy Hargrove x female!reader (platonic)
Tumblr media
You hated Hawkins.
But one thing you hated more than Hawkins was the overloading parties that the teens from Hawkins High would throw at any chance they got. Of course, your best friend dragged you to every single one. Did that stop you from complaining the whole Tom? Absolutely not.
“All I’m saying Billy is why do I have to be dragged along with you?” You complained from the passenger seat of Billy’s blue Camaro. The man was a God, nearly every kid in town worshipped him. How could they not? He’d single handily taken the position as Hawkins High’s new keg king, and managed to knock Steve Harrington out of his top spot as captain of the basketball team last year.
Billy sigh came out more irritated than your sure he meant, turning the music down as he inhaled the smoke from his cigarette before passing it across to you.
“Because y/n, like it or not but you’re my best friend. Do you think I could leave your ass a home getting stoned and watching shitty horror movies by yourself? Hawkins just won the championship game, we are going to this party.” He told you, speaking with his right hand as he held the steering wheel with his left, watching the road he was speeding down.
You groaned, finishing the cigarette he gave you before stubbing out the ash, flicking the butt at your annoying best friends face. He glared at you out of the corner of his eye, before flipping you off.
Being Billy’s best friend had its ups and downs, ups being no one even thought to look at you the wrong way out of fear how Billy would react. Downs being every girl he went near almost immediately wanted to rip your head off for being so close to him. Which would inevitably land them in the first category, then they hated you more because they’d never get a call back after upsetting his best friend.
The two of you moved in together after graduating last year, and his little sister Max stayed most nights to escape the bickering at home from Susan and Neil. And mainly so she could sneak out to hang with her friends. Billy hated it, always said she should be at home watching movies or helping with dinner. But he couldn’t fault the relationship his younger sister had with you.
“Who knows, you might even get laid and then you’ll stop being such an uptight bitch,” Billy laughed when he looked over to see your mortified expression. Sure, Billy was vulgar, but it didn’t stop you from being disgusted every time he said some shit like that to you.
“You’re disgusting, you know that?” You shot back, crossing your arms over your chest and trying to look as irritated as possible. Still, you were grateful for the darkness that surrounded the two of you so the deep red tinting your cheeks couldn’t be seen.
“I may be disgusting,” he said “but you know I’m right. Don’t think I’ve heard a peep come out of your room in a few months. Well, that is if we’re not counting your self pleasuring,”
You didn’t think it was possible to be more embarrassed, but the more Billy opened his mouth, the more you shrank down into the leather seat underneath you. He was right though, a few months back you had called it off with your fling, and since then you couldn’t bring yourself to even entertain someone else.
“Pull over, I’m walking.” you told him, gathering your coat that was in your lap. Billy laughed loudly, before pulling into a well lit driveway.
“Calm down, don’t get your panties in a twist. Everyone does it,” Billy called out to you as you both got out of the car. The two of you walked together towards the massive house, and you hit his shoulder every time he would laugh or make a comment to you.
“You know I hate you, right?”
“What are friends for?” He said as he held the door open for you.
Tumblr media
The two of you hadn’t been at this party for longer than 10 minutes before Billy found some old friends to ditch you for. He was a great friend, but his desire to party and impress could be a real bummer sometimes. Still, you stood leant against the side of the house, watching as Billy made a show of embarrassing Jason who challenged him to a keg race.
You shot back the rest of your drink, before deciding to go inside for a refill and bathroom break. You managed to squeeze through the bodies along the stairway, grateful that you didn’t break your ankle on the way to find a bathroom. After opening a few doors — and closing some after getting the shock of your life — you finally found the room you were looking for.
Reaching your hand out, you just touched the handle before the door was ripped open. On the other side, stood Eddie Munson, his hair a wild mess like always. He was jumping a little to pull his jeans back up, the last of what smelt like a joint hanging from his lips as he looked down where he was zipping up his fly. He bumped into you, and you were convinced it was on purpose.
Remember when you said there was nothing worse than Hawkins parties? Well, weren’t you wrong.
You hated Eddie with a passion, almost as strong as his distaste for you was.
“Watch where you’re going, sweetheart” Eddie spat the nickname like venom as he reached above his head to hold the top of the doorframe, leaning forwards ever so slightly to smirk down at you. You were sure he liked to piss you off on purpose.
‘Just like Billy,’ you thought.
“Well well well, look what the cat dragged in. How’s it going trailer trash?” You snapped up to him, trying to move past him because you were really about to piss yourself. Of course, Eddie didn’t budge. Instead the sinister smirk on his face grew as he looked you up and down, exhaling smoke from his nose from the joint that was still between his lips.
“Oh doll face, didn’t anyone tell you this wasn’t a dress up party? Showin’ up looking like some sort of whore. Not that it’s any different to how you usually look,” Eddie reached one hand out to pull at the thin strap of the black dress you were wearing. Your skin tingled where his fingertips brushed along your warm skin, and you had to bite your tongue to stop any sound of comfort coming out of you as Eddie let the strap snap back against your skin.
You were not about to inflate this man’s ego any more than it already was.
“Say that to me again and I’ll drown you,” you threaten, flicking your hand out to smack his crotch lightly. Eddie doubled over holding his dick, falling back a bit so you could get into the bathroom to pee. You shut the door behind you, unphased by Eddie’s presence.
“You’re such a fucking bitch, you know that?” He groaned once he regained his composure, pulling himself back to his feet with a cough. His back was to you, but you could see the way he was nervously chewing his bottom lip. You rolled your eyes, getting up to wash your hands and spray the expensive perfume on your body, before turning around to face him.
He’d grown a bit since you last saw him, towering over you completely now. And his hair was much longer. His eyes were still that pretty brown you liked, but again you’d never admit it. He still wore the same attire you remember though, all the way down to the dirty beat up reeboks.
“At least buy me dinner first before you decide to eye fuck me,” he teased, taking a step towards you. You scoffed.
“Please, like I’d even let you anywhere near me” you shot back. Eddie laughed lightly, taking another step towards you until your chests were touching.
“You were saying?” You were hoping he couldn’t feel how fast your heart was beating in your chest, and you were ever so grateful that he couldn’t see the mess you were making in your lace panties.
‘God, maybe Billy was right!’
“When are you gonna drop this bitchy act, hmm?” He whispered against the shell of your ear, his left hand coming up to trace feather light touches against the other side of your neck, while his other hand braces against the bathroom basin, blocking your quick exit to the door.
“I miss you..” his lips were dangerously close to the sweet spot on your neck that he’d learnt all about a few months back.
You sigh, reaching up to cup his face, pulling him back so your eyes met. You notice the dazed look in his eyes, the spaced out look on his face. It almost made you feel bad about what you said next.
“Was that before or after I found out you were fucking Angela Greenwood behind my back?” You asked sweetly, taking your hands off his cheeks to palm his face away from you.
Eddie groaned loudly, falling back against the other wall as he stared at you, any trace of happiness gone as he glared you down.
“We weren’t even together y/n! You’re fucking insane.” He shouted.
“It’s still dirty! Out fucking half the town then trying to come home to me!” You yelled back, turning to reach for the door handle, before leaving him standing in the bathroom.
“Fuck off, don’t pretend like you weren’t sleeping with Hargrove every other night!” He yelled down the hallway after you as you stormed away, catching the attention of a few bystanders. You paid him no mind, flipping him off as you stormed down the stairs.
It didn’t take you long to find Billy, stood in the kitchen with Tommy H and Steve Harrington. You pushed your way through the people, before coming out between Steve and Billy.
“Heeeeey!” Billy cheered, turning his attention away from the pretty blonde attached to his hip to wrap his arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his side. He offered his cigarette to your lips, which you took a drag of before taking his cup.
“There’s my pretty girl. Where you been? Started to think you ditched for a second” he said, smiling down at you. The blonde beside him stood awkwardly, giving you a tight lipped grin when you looked over to her.
“Yeah, just talking to Hawkins favourite dealer,” you said.
“Hope he was nice to you,” Billy said, taking his cup back from you.
“As nice as Eddie ‘the freak’ Munson can be,” you shrug. Billy muttered a “better be” as he downed the rest of his drink.
Billy had watched your relationship with Eddie unfold, growing from your drug dealer to someone you depended on. Naturally, Billy was happy for you, you deserved to be happy he would tell you. But Billy always had resentment towards Eddie, always told him he wasn’t good enough for you.
When you cut it off with Eddie, Billy was furious when he found you crying in your room, his little sister holding a tissue box out to you as you sobbed into your pillow. Billy swore Eddie would never smile again after he was finished knocking his teeth out, but you had begged him to not touch him. Billy wasn’t sold, but Eddie was the only person to this day who’s gotten away with making you sad.
“Tommy H and I were just talking to Stevie boy about how Hawkins finally won a championship game — as soon as he graduated.” Billy said, but you zoned out as you watched Eddie bounce down the stairs like the two of you weren’t just screaming at each other. He looked around himself, before finding some of the basketball team who held money out to him.
Eddie dug into the pockets of his jacket, pulling out what looked like pre rolled joins, before exchanging them for the 20 extended to him. His attention was brought over to your group when Billy shouted ‘shots!’ loudly. Almost immediately, his eyes found yours, and he chewed at his lip nervously before nodding his head towards the back door, silently asking you to follow him.
“Where you going?” Billy called over his shoulder when you slipped out from under his arm. You smiled, turning around and giving him a wink before following the way Eddie went.
Why were you following him? You weren’t sure. You were slightly buzzed so you were hoping to shout at him some more. Deep down, you knew you’d never really gotten over what happened between you and Eddie. And although technically he was right and the two of you were together — thus him owing you no loyalty —, it still hurt a whole lot to know he wasn’t loyal to you like you were to him.
You sighed loudly, the cool breeze nipping at your bare shoulders. You couldn’t see him anywhere, and your immediate thought was that he brought you out here just for a laugh. Snuck back around through the front door or something. Still, you wandered off down the back yard, spotting some old lawn chairs secluded from the loud noise from the party.
With no sign of Eddie, you decided that sitting out by yourself was your best bet. As you heated closer to the chairs, a rustle by the bushes startled you.
“Eddie?” You called, the nerves clear in your voice.
Nothing.
The bushes moved again, and you swore you saw something amongst them.
“C’mon Eddie this isn’t funny,” you shouted, annoyed now. You took a step towards the dark bushes, but stopped when you heard an off sounding growl. The hairs on your neck stood up, and you were starting to think that maybe it wasn’t Eddie.
As you backed away slowly, you collided with something behind you that reached out to grab your arm. You screamed loudly, nearly jumping out of your skin before swinging around and slapping whoever was behind you.
“Jesus H. Christ y/n! Seriously?!” Eddie shouted, holding his stinging right cheek.
“Can’t a guy catch a break-“
“Can we go?” You ask, panic clear on your features. Your heart was racing, and Eddie frowned as you willingly clung to his body — the tremble of your hands noticeably shaking through to his chest.
“Did I scare you that much?” He asks, placing his hands on top of yours. Before you could answer him though, the growl from the bushes sounded again, catching Eddie’s attention.
“Uhh.. y-yeah, that sounds like a good idea! L-let’s go,” he stuttered, lacing your hands with his as he pulled you behind him before backing away, being sure to keep himself between you and whatever was making those noises behind the bushes.
You were shaking by the time the two of you got to the front of the house, and Eddie dropped your hand to shrug off the jacket he was wearing. You began to protest, insisting that you didn’t need it.
“Will you just shut up and wear it till we get to my van?” He shouted, irritated by you. You rolled your eyes, before snatching the jacket from his outstretched arms.
“Dick,” you mumbled while you pulled it on, being consumed instantly by the warmth that was Eddie Munson. Your heart hurt as you remembered the familiar smell, engulfed by it nearly every night in his sheets.
Eddie skipped over to his van, taking the keys from his back pocket and unlocking the sliding door. You watched as he gestured for you to enter.
“After you,” he smiled sweetly at you. But you weren’t convinced.
“Such a gentleman!” You gasped, placing your hand on your chest. “I wonder where this chivalry was when you were screwing other bitches.”
Eddie groaned, rubbing his hand over his face as he let his head fall backwards.
“Lord, give me strength. Help guide me in these difficult times,” he prayed. You laughed, a small snort catching his attention.
“Praying, really? You’re a Heathen,” you say, crossing your arms over your chest as you stand in front of him.
“Why should I get in?”
Eddie reached forward, and for a moment you thought he was going to grab your boob. But instead, he reached into the chest pocket before pulling out a joint.
“Wanna get high like old times, baby?”
Tumblr media
Half way through the shared joint and you were high as shit, the past half an hours events only a small worry shoved into the back of your mind as you sat in the back of Eddie’s van, leaning against the back seats, hands running over the soft carpet laid in the back.
Eddie was sat across from you, leant against the cold side of the van. His left leg bent at the knee while the other laid out flat in front of him. His shoe tapping against the sole of your heel.
As much as you thought you despised Eddie, there’s always one thing you gave him credit for.
His weed was always the best shit in town.
Eddie leant forward, passing the blunt over to you, you took it from his fingers, telling him to fuck off when he tickled his finger tips against yours.
“God, I just fucking hate you,” you breathed, the smoke filling your lungs with the burn you loved.
“I know baby..” you weren’t sure if you heard him right, mainly because his voice was barely above a whisper. No arguing back. No snarky comment. You glanced over at him to see him already watching you, his eyes fixated on the smoke leaving your lips.
“I said I was sorry though,” he added.
You laughed at him, sitting up to pass the blunt back to him before lying back down against the soft carpet. Your legs rested up on the back seats, head so close to Eddie’s thighs it was nearly resting in his lap.
“No, you actually didn’t,” you told him, watching his face as he frowned down at you. You pushed yourself up so you were resting against your elbows.
“Actually, I don’t think I’ve ever heard the words I’m sorry come out of your mouth.”
“Is that what you wanna hear baby?” He teased, leaning forwards to bring his face closer to yours. He was so close you had to crank your neck back to just to maintain eye contact.
“You wanna hear how dumb I am? You wanna hear how I regret what I did the minute I did it? How I still think about you? Still picture you in my bed, still hear how pretty you sound when you come undone?” He was whispering each question over your skin, each one leaving hot open mouthed kisses against your skin. Eddie kissed his way to your ear, his body hovering over yours.
“You wanna hear how I can’t think about anyone else?” Kiss.
“How I haven’t touched anyone since you walked out on me?” Bite.
“How I’m rock hard right now, just thinking about what we had?” Eddie pushed his hips against your side, and sure enough you felt his hard cock straining against the tight denim of his jeans.
You breathed out a moan that sounded as soft as a sigh, and Eddie groaned into your neck, sucking a mark when your neck meets your shoulder before coming back to whisper to you.
“I am so, so sorry baby.. will you ever forgive me?” Eddie pulled back to look at you with big puppy eyes, his eyes glassy from the weed. You chewed your bottom lip between your teeth, and Eddie’s eyes fell to your mouth, his tongue coming out to wet his lips as he watched you.
“You broke my heart, Munson.” Eddie gave you a smirk.
“Surprised that you had one to break.” You glare at him, pushing yourself up until he’s the one half lying down, your body leaning into his, you hand finding comfort at the base of his neck.
“Careful now sweetheart,” he says, his hand sliding down to hold his growing bulge, your knee sitting too close to his most sensitive parts. You were unpredictable, Eddie loved that about you.
“Say you forgive me,” he begged, leaning his head back to expose his throat to you. You watched as his eyes rolled ever so slightly when your hand slid up to rest on his neck. You could feel his racing pulse under your fingers, sending tingles straight to your core.
You could feel him palming himself through his jeans, eyes fluttering shut as you applied the smallest amount of pressure to his neck.
“Fuucck, baby..” Eddie whined, soft sighs leaving his lips as you moved to straddle his waist. You missed seeing him like this, all needy and willing to do whatever you said. You could feel yourself growing wetter just watching him turn into putty beneath you. It’s something you loved about Eddie, he enjoyed having you in control. You shifted uncomfortably, your wet panties sliding against his jeans.
“That depends, are you going to be on your best behaviour?” You asked sweetly, watching as he blinked up at you, his mind in a haze.
“So good…I’ll be s-so good,” he moaned, lifting his hips to meet your centre.
“Hmm, we’ll see.” You leant forwards, bringing your lips to meet his in a soft kiss. Eddie almost immediately cried out into your mouth, his hands coming up to run along your thighs, pushing your dress up to expose your black panties.
You pushed him backwards, keeping your mouth moving against his as he lied down on the floor of the van. His tongue met yours, and you whined into his mouth as his familiar taste. You pulled away, not missing how Eddie tried to follow your mouth as you moved to bite and suck marks over his neck. Eddie couldn’t stay quiet as you sucked bruises over his pale skin, soft whispers of “yes, yes, yes” sounding like music through the van.
You pulled away from him, holding yourself up to look into his eyes. Eddie smiled sweetly at you, and you could t help but return it.
“Let me taste you.. miss how good you taste.” He coos, licking his lips like it was just yesterday when he had his mouth on you. You sit up, ready to lie beside him before you notice him wiggling his body to have his face between your kneeling frame.
“Eddie..” you say, nervousness taking over.
“It’s okay baby, I got you,” when you nodded down at him beneath you, he didn’t hesitate pulling your panties aside, his warm breath fanning over your wet slit.
“Shit sweetheart, have you been this wet all night?” He asked, one of his hands holding your panties while the other reached out to press between your soaking folds.
You gasp, reaching out to steady yourself on whatever you can grab. You moaned out a quiet yes that you were sure he didn’t hear.
“All for me?” He asked, brushing his rough fingers against your sensitive bud. You moan loudly, the sound bouncing around the van as you sank down onto him, his tongue coming out to flatten against you, sliding easily between your wet folds.
“Yes Eds, all-all for you!” You gasp, rocking your hips against his face. His nose brushed along your clit, while his tongue lapped at your wet hole. Eddie groaned beneath you, pulling you against him like a starved man as he sucked on to your clit. Two of his fingers slid inside you with ease, immediately thrusting upwards against your soft centre.
You were a mess, whining softly as Eddie ate your pussy. You were sure his face was soaked in your slick, as you slid against his flat tongue. Eddie hummed beneath you, the vibrations shooting through your body.
“Shit, E-Eddie I’m-I’m” you couldn’t finish, not when he wrapped his lips around your clit and sucked harshly as his fingers fucked into you. Your orgasm hit you hard, your walls clenching around Eddie’s fingers as you continued to fuck your self on his fingers through your orgasm. His tongue continued to lick against your clit, even when your walls stopped gripping him in place.
You collapsed next to him, both of your breaths coming out in pants. Eddie turned to you, his mouth and chin glistening from your orgasm. You leaned forward, running your tongue across his chin before diving into his mouth, teeth clashing as the two of you made out. You could taste yourself on him. It was intoxicating.
“Shit,” he groaned, popping the button of his jeans and undoing his zip. Eddie hooked his hands into the sides of his pants, pulling them down until his cock sprung free, slapping against his stomach. The tip leaking pre-cut down along his impressive shaft.
Eddie had the prettiest cock.
You climbed into his lap, a small gasp leaving your lips as you slid your wet folds along his hard dick.
“Please,” he begged, both hands coming up to bunch in his hair as he tilted his head back. You were driving him mad.
“Please what, babe? Use your big boy words” you teased, yanking on his hair to make him look at you. Eddie pouted at you, eyes big as he looked up at you.
“I need-“
“Hmm?” You hummed, moving back to run your tongue up the underside of his cock. Eddie moaned out, running his fingers through your hair as he panted.
“Yes.. yes, just a little— ohhh fuck” his head hit the floor of the van with a loud thud as you took him into your mouth. He was heavy on your tongue, sliding it over the tip, tasting him.
Eddie’s fist knotted in your hair as you sucked him into your mouth, your hand pumping what you couldn’t take.
“That’s it baby,” he praised. “Feels so good!”
You moaned around him, feeling him twitch inside your mouth. You moved down his cock, taking him down your throat suddenly, causing you to gag around him when you felt him hit the back.
“Fuck, fuck, fuck!” He shouted as he felt your throat contract around him. He shoved you off him, pulling you up to cradle you against his chest.
“Holy fuck, I nearly just blew my load down your throat!” He exclaimed. You giggled, sighing as you felt his tip pushing against your dripping hole.
You grabbed your dress, helping him take it off your body before he practically tore his shirt off. You smiled, tracing your fingers along the tattoos over his chest.
“Tell me what you want, Eds..” you whisper, kissing his lips.
Eddie whimpered, his cock twitching against you.
“Fuck me, please fuck me.” He begged you. He sounded so pretty when he begged. You pushed your hips back, feeling his tip slip inside you. Eddie’s mouth fell open as you slowly slid onto his cock.
“Squeezing me so tight, baby” he said, eyes fixated as he watched you rock your hips back and forward on his cock. The van was filled with the sound of your wet pussy taking him in, riding him at a slow pace. You liked when he fucked you hard, but he would almost always be weak for you riding him slowly.
You leant your tits against his chest, Eddie leaning back on his hands so his cock can slide into you at a different angle. He locked his eyes onto you, tears brimming the edges.
“You okay?” You ask him.
“Feels so good!” He sobs, a single tear falling from his left eye. You push up, kissing it away before sinking back down onto him.
“Eddie..” you moan, catching his attention. He looks at you, eyes wide.
“Apologise baby,” you tell him. You pick up your pace, his cock slipping in and out of you faster, your clit grinding against his pelvis. You could feel your second orgasm of the night building, you weren’t going to last much longer.
“I’m sorry!” He cried out, his eyes rolling to the back of his head when you gripped at his throat.
“So sorry baby, p-please forgive me!” He pleaded, trying to lift his head to look at you. You used your other hand to grab his hair again, pulling him up to look at you. He hissed at the pain that shot through his head.
“Who makes you feel this good?” You ask. You knew the answer, but your ego was inflated as you rode him faster.
“Y-you y/n! Always you!” He moaned, bringing his hips up to meet your grinding, chasing his own orgasm.
You smiled, leaning in to whisper in his ear.
“Who do you belong to, Eddie?”
Eddie panted, his breathe coming out in huffs as his body started to shake.
“I-it’s you! Fuck, only you!! I’m cumming, baby- I’m cumming!”
“Yes! Yes! Cum inside me Eddie” you moaned into his ear as you fucked yourself on his cock. You felt him twitch inside you, triggered your own orgasm as you picked up your pace, heat taking over your body as you continued to fuck both of you through you finish.
You fell fowards, both you and Eddie collapsing onto the floor of the van, chests heaving. You looked up at him, noticing the daze setting over his features. You pushed up to touch his face, getting his attention.
“You did so well, Eds” you praised, brushing his hair back from his sticky forehead. He smiled weakly, leaning down to put a kiss on your head.
“Thank you,” he mumbled as he hugged you to his chest.
The two of you stayed like that till he started to go soft, hissing as the sensitivity when he pulled out of you.
“Holy shit, you squirted all over me!” He said, gesturing to his jeans that were saturated.
“That’s so fucking hot,” he mumbled as he leant over to kiss you.
The two of you got dressed in silence, before Eddie offered to drive you home. You agreed, climbing over into the passenger seat as you watched the brunette drive to your place.
“You know,” you said once the two of you pulled up outside of your house. Eddie turned to look at you, a dumb smile threatening to tug at the corner of his lips.
“I never fucked Billy. Not even when we stopped seeing each other.” Eddie grinned.
“I know” you rolled your eyes, unbuckling your seatbelt before opening the door and hoping out, looking back over your shoulder to Eddie.
“You coming?” The metal head had never ripped the keys out of the ignition so quickly.

here’s a tamer one:
gimme all your unpopular stranger things opinions, pretty please!!
sav, bestie you know i love being controversial (sometimes) and i know that some of these may get me tumblr-cancelled or cause a fandom riot because most of them will be about billy (and by extension, max), but that’s not my problem.
billy and max genuinely cared about each other. i know, some of you are gonna look at that and say “how the fuck is that true??” but trust me. it is. both of them were forced into a shitty situation, and often took things out on each other because they were both misguided and trying to navigate things on their own. neil and susan obviously favored max, often neglecting billy and making him grow up on his own and way too fast. he was handling full-fledged adult responsibilities by the time he was sixteen, and he shouldn’t have been. now while i think susan may have tried to evenly delegate her attention to both kids, neil completely prohibited that under some false pretense such as “billy needs to grow up” or “he doesn’t need a mother anymore”. any time max screwed up, billy was left to deal with it instead of neil and susan handling it themselves, like parents should, not older siblings (though i believe had it not been for neil, susan would’ve taken care of max herself— i have some very complicated opinions on susan, but that’s another story). every time billy acted out in violence, it was a defense and survival mechanism for him; and he probably did it quite often to protect max because he cared for her, and for the fact that if he didn’t, he’d face neil’s wrath for the nth time (i.e.: the fight at byers’ home with steve— which, in billy’s defense, was totally justified from his point of view). anyway, max and billy cared about each other in their own weird little way.
more on the topic of billy, he wasn’t racist and he didn’t target or dislike lucas simply because he was black. that’s just a bullshit reason that 98% of the fandom uses to justify why they hate billy because they couldn’t read context clues and use some critical thinking skills. he disliked lucas because he witnessed lucas and max arguing in the school parking lot, and lucas was upsetting max— and billy knew that it would be his ass if neil found out about it.
i think the whole “girlboss” angle they’re trying to do with nancy kinda sucks and it’s ruining her character. she was definitely a stronger character in season 2 than any other season.
the series started with will, and it should end with will. i said what i said.
max stabbing billy with a needle and syringe with no idea what was in it is not the girlboss moment y’all think it is. what was in that syringe could’ve killed him for all anyone knew.
the sauna scene was genuinely billy begging for max to help him because he didn’t know what was going on, until it wasn’t, and max knew that was billy and not the mindflayer.
speaking of the whole mindflayer thing, y’all can’t tell me that max didn’t genuinely care about billy when she said “i really hope it’s not you” in reference to the party suspecting that billy was the host.
oh and in season two when billy’s “threatening” to run over the boys?? y’all are delusional for thinking he really would lmao he’s an older brother and older brothers mess with their sisters like that. and he’s a seventeen year old with a cool, fast car. there’s no way he was gonna willingly get himself a vehicular homicide charge in a bumfuck town in indiana. y’all are dumb as shit for thinking he would. and did y’all notice when max grabbed the wheel and made the car swerve to avoid hitting them? billy could’ve easily gone against her force and kept the car on course, but he didn’t.
stancy shippers are essentially romanticizing a toxic relationship between two people who very clearly want different things for themselves and could never actually work, from a logical and realistic viewpoint.
on that note, stancy should not happen in season five. or ever again for that matter. fight me about it.
karen wheeler’s actions in season three can’t be justified. i’m not even gonna argue on this one with anyone because y’all know what happened. sure she chose her family in the end, but she was really about to go hook up with a freshly-18 year old man while being in her 40s…absolutely not, ma’am. don’t even get me started on the other pool-lurking moms.
it’s game night, send one of these!

Another Billy Hidden Omega AU because I want to share the rest of my drafts
Billy is a secret Omega who’s pining after Steve, the alpha of his dreams basically. In California, it was normal for everyone to use blockers but in small town, Indiana, blockers are very rarely used. Everyone wonders why Billy always uses blockers but he never answers anyone’s questions about his secondary gender.
Billy has liked Steve especially his scent since they first met at the party but when he finds out that Steve already has an omega, he backs off but still comforts him when Nancy leaves with Jonathan
He tries to goad Steve during basketball practice but Steve only ends up pissed at him and Billy realizes he’s likely never going to get his wishes since Steve doesn’t even like Billy as a person.
The whole season 2 arc still happens but immediately after, Billy is beaten up even worse than anything Steve could do by Neil as soon as Billy was taken home. Max was sent to her room to sleep and she was too tired to hear the whimpers of pain from Billy as he was beaten.
He spent the entire weekend locked in his room using the new locks by Neil and he was given a first aid kit and meals by Susan. Max was visibly shocked when she saw him that Monday morning but he dodged her questions about who did it. Max had a sinking feeling in her chest.
Steve rolls up to school with people congratulating him on beating Billy up and his heart sinks to his stomach at the sight of Billy shrunken in from pain but with his head still held high. He’s confused but he goes along with everything until he picks up the kids for a meeting at the Wheelers.
Steve tells them about Billy being beaten up and Max tells him that he stayed in his room the entire weekend so it had to have been that night. Will is the one to suggest that it’s Billy’s dad and Max brings up respect and responsibility and how when she got home after everything, Billy had to stay for his punishment. They feel sick to their stomachs because they may not like the guy but he didn’t deserve to be beaten up to that extent. They decide to help him because they feel guilty for everything.
They make a game plan for the kids to have El bring it up to Hopper and for Will to bring it up with Joyce, to ask how someone could deal with it. Steve and Max were in charge of trying to get Billy to open up to him and to see if he had any new injuries.
Joyce point blank asks if it’s the Hargrove boy because she’s seen him interact with his father and she had one hand on the phone the entire time, ready to call Hopper to chase another child abuser out of town. Will says so and she asks Jonathan to invite him over who protests, bringing up the fight. She asks who swung first and gives them an adult perspective about the situation.
Max snuck out and was found in a random house with five boys, one of which is a teenager a good 3 years older than her. He was her brother and he had a right to keep her safe and defend her honor and instead they injected him with a sedative and stole his car.
Jonathan agrees and he invites Billy to dinner one night and he’s told to bring Max. The polite thing to do was to bring something so he made some cookies to share. He also brings a replacement plate and apologizes to Joyce for fighting in her house. She says it’s water under the bridge. They have a good dinner together with Joyce asking them questions about their family life and academics.
Billy reveals he’s in all AP Classes. Jonathan reveals that Nancy is jealous of his grades and how quickly he dethroned her in the race for valedictorian. After dinner, Will takes Max to see his drawings and Jonathan asks Billy if he wants to listen to some music. They bond over shared music tastes and shitty fathers. Billy defends Will from his bullies and scares the crap out of them. Everyone quickly learns that Max and her friends are untouchable unless they want to face Billy Hargrove and Steve Harrington.
Steve notices that Billy usually doesn’t eat at lunch anymore, going to smoke near his car instead and he starts offering Billy food. Steve apologizes for throwing the first punch and Billy apologizes for going too far. They become friends in the eyes of everyone else because Steve makes it a point to invite Billy to stuff and to defend him. Billy’s heart aches every time because his inner omega instincts tell him it’s his alpha proving that he’s capable of taking care of him while in reality it was due to pity in his eyes. Steve genuinely wants to help Billy because he’s a fixer and he can’t stand problems he can’t fix.
Max starts trying to keep Billy away from home as much as possible, asking if she could come over to her friend’s house and having Billy drive her and stay with her after the whole sneaking out fiasco. She usually plans it around Steve, Jonathan or Nancy being there. Nancy and Billy surprisingly get along well especially academically since they’re in all of the same classes. However, whenever Steve is there, he usually goes to Billy first, guided by his instincts and he doesn’t like sharing Billy’s attention much. Nancy and Jonathan are amused by this and so is Joyce when she sees it but none of them burst their bubble.
Billy apologizes to Lucas properly and explains that his dad wasn’t fond of anything that didn’t fit his perfect fantasy and that meant befriending any POCs was a recipe for disaster.
Steve and Billy become close, practically best friends and Steve starts inviting Billy to places because he wants to. Billy goes because he’s a masochist who wants to be close to Steve in any capacity he can while Steve genuinely enjoys Billy’s company and he can’t quite explain why. He also loves to give Billy small gifts which he does without questioning. He does it for the other pups in his pack so he sees it as providing for his pack. He doesn’t realize when he started thinking of Billy as pack but he just accepts his instincts.
Billy usually goes to Steve after a beating once he trusts Steve because his instincts are begging for safety and Steve represents safety to him. After the third time it happens with it being the worst he’s seen so far on Boxing Day, Steve practically begs Billy to let him let Hopper take care of everything and he swears that everything will be alright and that he’ll protect Billy. No, he doesn’t realize how romantic it sounds. Billy, in a moment of weakness, nods against Steve who gets Hopper to arrest Neil and run him out of town just before New Year. Billy slept over in Steve’s bed of course.
Susan had been befriended by Joyce after who told her in no nonsense terms that she knew what she was going through but that it would be completely worth it in the end. With Joyce’s help, she’s willing to testify against Neil about the abuse and to file a restraining order and a divorce.
In small town Indiana, the only lawyer worth his salt happens to be Lucas’ dad who happily supports their case. Billy quietly asks Hopper once his dad is in custody if lying about designation and using illegal pills would help the case and he confesses to Hopper, Joyce and Susan as they’re figuring everything out that he’s actually an omega, something not even Susan knew. All of them are immediately incensed, especially Joyce who is an omega.
They get him to give his suppressants up as evidence and they take him to a specialist outside of Hawkins who checks him up and thankfully, there are no harmful side effects since he was still pretty young but he was advised that his heats would have to be monitored for the next six months until they regularized. He would most likely be sent into heat within the next two weeks to a month after stopping the medicine and he was given a full check up which showed his history of improperly healed bones and scars which also aided the case they were building.
When the new year comes, Steve practically pulls Billy to his side throughout the entire celebration, feeling exceedingly overprotective over Billy. He doesn’t kiss him at midnight though because he hasn’t realized the depth of his feelings for Billy. Billy is confused because it seems like Steve is about to make a move before he stops himself and he confronts the Alpha and tells him to stop giving him mixed signals. He knows that Steve doesn’t want him so why does he keep acting like he does? Steve has no explanation other than his instincts and Billy shouts at him that he’s an omega in front of everyone and he leaves. Steve hurries to catch him but Hopper and Susan block him off, with Joyce comforting Billy, telling him to come back the next day. Steve makes up his mind after talking to Nancy and Jonathan that he wants to court Billy and make him his regardless of his designation so he shows up the next morning bright and early with a courting gift and flowers.
Billy’s a morning person and he took over cooking so even if he had red-rimmed eyes from crying over Steve, he was making waffles for the kids since everyone stayed over at the Byer’s residence. Surprisingly, Joyce and Susan were becoming fast friends in the wake of everything that happened and whenever they would do anything related to Neil, all of the kids would be left together with the older siblings left to watch. Since Jonathan would usually have a side hussle, it would usually be Billy left with Will, El and Max. Jonathan was usually the last one up so Billy had been the one assigned to breakfast duty and he loved it.
Billy’s still in his pajamas with an apron over it when he opens the door to see Steve fully gussied up, holding a jewelry box and sunflowers. Steve is stunned by the sight of Billy so soft so he basically blackscreens and thrusts the flowers to Billy, “What the fuck, Harrington?” “Please let me court you.”
Billy closes the door on him in a panic and the kids freak out, since they know about Billy being an omega now and they have a quick should he or should he not with the kids and they vote in favor of it. Billy slowly opens the door and invites Steve in to elaborate. Steve says he wants Billy to be his and has for a while even if he didn’t exactly know it. He wants to take care of Billy just like he had before but he wanted Billy to be his. Billy is a blushing mess who hasn’t even had the chance to look decent but he agrees to it.
Steve is exceedingly romantic and possessive. When school starts up again, he and Billy have only gone on a couple of dates but he walks in, all King Steve with his hand in Billy’s back pocket. Billy had been banned from using blockers for the next six months so the whole school knew the second he walked in and it became the talk of the town how Neil Hargrove had forced his poor omega son to pretend he was an alpha and he couldn’t show his face in public anymore. He eventually left town after signing the divorce papers and the restraining order with Hopper growling at him he was a lucky son of a bitch that he was even allowing him to leave a free man and not as a criminal.
With Billy finally free, season three doesn’t happen as expected. The mindflayer does still get free but when it tries to attack Billy, Steve is there with his walkie-talkie and he calls El and Hopper to come to Brimborn Steelworks before Billy touches the goop. They deal with it properly with Billy making makeshift molotovs from the shit he has in the car for the trip he and Steve were supposed to be making. They only really have the Russians to deal with after and they leave that to the adults again since Steve would have a lot more to worry about if he left his omega for the taking or something. Hopper would get Dr. Owens to call in the military because it’s cold war shit and he gets the soldiers to cover them while he and El close up the gate. Steve tells Hopper at lunch about the Russian code and the military is there that night, interrogating the kids about what they know and they storm the place, getting a defector named Alexei who opened the gate.
Something weird is happening between Hopper, Susan and Joyce since Hopper is an alpha, Susan is a beta and Joyce is an omega but all of their kids live in blissful ignorance until the parental units combine households and they’re sharing one room. They can afford to do so after the government hush money came in again after the whole incident.

I have a stranger things theory in the same vein as a few reset theories I’ve seen.
They've been using a weird form of time travel which isn't really time travel but also isn't not time travel if you get me? I'm just realising that I'm not exactly sure how Eleven goes back into her memories? Is it a hypnosis thing? They play the tapes and she's transported back there but can only relive, not change, a Christmas Carol style? Or was it her powers making her relive them but instead of someone else's memories, it's her own.
They used this, and combined with general ability to see into someone's mind and how she just straight up resurrected Max, I don't think it's too much of a stretch to say she could time travel.
I have a scene in my mind of Eleven realising that there isn't a way they can destroy the upside down forever, Vecna is immune to their attempts and she maybe has been having moments of deja vu throughout (think loki s2 where he keeps time jumping to the past and future) and realises that the only way to stop it once and for all is to stop it happening at all. She makes the hard decision to go back and stop herself from sending Henry to the Upside Down but it's a hard decision because there's a high likelihood that if the other kids didn't die, if she'd just killed Henry instead of sending him to the Upside Down, she never would've got out and so she's sacrificing her friends and also the lives her friends have made.
Think about how good of an ending that would be, for them all to decide to sacrifice their lives now to make a new one that they won't even know is different.
Will never goes to the Upside Down so may be more confident and not as traumatised. Jonathan was never looking for Will in the woods, so never took those photos of Steve and Nancy before Barb died, because she never died, so Steve never destroys his camera, so Nancy never bonds with him because he has evidence of something killing Barb, so they may never get together in the first place. And because there’s no demogorgan, and no love triangle, Steve may still have been a popular jock because he probably didn’t fall out with Jonathan, so didn’t have to apologise and change.
Robin and Steve may not be friends because the mall wouldn’t have been built as a cover up for the russian experiments. And because Steve didn’t change, and Barb is alive, there may have been no ‘you’re bullshit’ argument at Halloween so Steve doesn’t have to apologise, and he doesn’t help and bond with Dustin because there was no Dart so Dustin wasn’t trying to get to the Party. This means that Dustin’s just closer to Eddie, because Eddie just graduated in 1986 instead of dying, he maybe doesn’t even really like Steve because Steve stayed a popular jock.
Max wouldn’t be in whatever state she was in because no Vecna. But also she wouldn’t have the trauma of Billy dying to get her to be a victim because Billy was never possessed so is still alive, so maybe Susan and Neil are still together, so Max’s life is shitty in a different way. Also if there’s no upside down then Will wouldn’t be possessed and there would be no demodogs, so Max wouldn’t have sneaked out so Billy wouldn’t have beaten up Steve so Max wouldn’t have stood up to him (at that point, I like to think something like that would still happen).
Would Joyce and Hopper still be together? Would Joyce be with Bob still?
And most importantly, what happens to Eleven? Is she still in the lab? Is she dead?
She goes back, kills Henry, Dr Brenner walks in and says ‘what have you done?’ and everything goes black.
She wakes up in her bed in the Byers’ old house. Joyce is in the kitchen, Will at the table. Hopper’s at work. It’s normal. She goes to school and things are normal, but she’s in the hellfire club, Max is fine, Lucas is in the basketball team.
Nancy’s at university, Steve’s got a job and they’re living together, she just knows. They don’t know who Robin is. Jonathan is also at university, he was never with Nancy, he and Will shared a room after El came to live with Joyce and Hopper.
Eddie’s band’s playing Hawkins, they’ve got a cult following and are on tour. Billy’s coming to see them, because Billy’s alive, duh, Max says like it’s common knowledge, because it is. He just left town one day, keeps occasional contact with Max now that Neil’s in prison, he started on Susan and her after he left and the party noticed and after a year of pain, he got convicted.
By the end of the day, El’s struggling to remember the original universe, the original story. It’s normal.

OTHER STUFF;
Set in S4. All parties (Gareth, reader) have been aged up to 18, so everyone is legal for anything that may occur down the road. No deaths, no Vecna, no Upside Down, only your typical high school crush to lovers cheesefest, so if you're into that, have fun!
Tumblr media
The scent of marinara hits his nose and makes his stomach growl as he steps through the front door of his house. He bends down to pull off his sneakers like usual. He knows his mom and dad went out for a date night to celebrate something or other, so he knows that his mom got a babysitter. However… The babysitter usually doesn’t bother with the stove. And she usually doesn’t play with his little sisters or anything like that.
“Leah?” he calls out, brows knitting when she doesn't answer, an irritated huff to her voice or call out for him to cram it, she's on the phone. Because all she does is watch some shitty soap and tie up the phone all night whenever she sits.
His sister tugs his jeans leg. “Mommy got us a new sitter, Gare!”
He bends to pick up the little girl and he laughs. “Oh, she did, huh?”
“Mhm! She’s fun.” his little sister answers, yawning as she lays her head against his shoulder. “She’s makin spaghetti.”
And then, he hears you calling out to the sister currently in his arms from the kitchen. Laughing as you call out to her. “Sweetie, don’t just throw the door open, ‘kay? Remember our talk? You gotta make ‘em identify themselves first.”
You lean in the doorway between his mother’s kitchen and the living room, his youngest sister balanced on your right hip. He’s thrown for a loop because you’re wearing these big but adorable black framed glasses that keep sliding down your nose. Your hair is half up and half down, those two pigtails you wore all through cheer camp the week before. He’s trying not to stare like an idiot but he can’t help himself.
“Gareth?” and like always, when you say his name, it’s like his brain shuts down for a few seconds to reboot. So while that’s happening and he’s caught up in that, you’re staring right back but naturally, this doesn’t register to him. You laugh softly. Raise a hand, your finger catching in the end of one of your ponytails.
“Leah’s not babysitting?” Gareth finally manages to form words.
You shake your head and laugh, grinning. “No. I guess your mom talked to Susan. Apparently, Mrs. Sinclair recommended me when she was asking around for other babysitters?” you can feel your cheeks burning hot and you know you’re staring at him but whenever you try not to, you can’t stop.
Finally, you manage to pull yourself together, grinning at his little sister. “You hungry, little bit? The noodles should be done.”
Then you hear the pot on the stove bubbling and you bite your lip, turning away to rush back into the kitchen. You get to the stove just before the water bubbles over the rim of the pot. “Wouldn’t have happened if I had a wooden spoon to put over this.” you mumble to yourself, mostly so you’re not hyper aware of Gareth as he lingers in the doorway between rooms watching you.
You place his little sister on her feet and grab the pot so you can drain the noodles into the colander you’d placed in the sink and as you’re going to pour out the pasta to drain, some of the hot water splashes up and makes contact with your wrist.
“Fudge popsicles. Son of a biscuit.” you say it instead of what you would’ve said if you were at your own house in your own kitchen. Gareth snickers quietly. You stop in front of him and you’re holding out your arms, giggling softly as his little sister comes to you. “You can’t go t’ sleep yet, little bit. You’ve still gotta eat.”
The little girl yawns but smiles, eyes drooping. “She should sleep real good tonight. We went to the park down the street since Emma watched Janelle tonight, they got to play.” you say it as you place the little girl in her high chair.
His brain finally decides that it wants to function again and he chuckles, speaking up at last. Gaze fixed on you intently. “Yeah, they’re always over there playing with her.”
You smile and nod. You’re trying not to, but you’re doing it again, staring at him with not a thought in your brain. It happens a lot lately and you’re torn between being annoyed by it and utterly baffled by it. You nod to the pasta on the stove. “Are you hungry?”
He laughs, dragging his hand through sweaty curls. “I could eat, yeah.”
“Don’t be too impressed, by the way. Susan taught me how to make this and this is the first time I've actually ah.. tried to without her supervising me,so... yeah. It’s the only thing I know how to make.. Right now.” you say it with this cute little smirk. You go to push your glasses up, grumbling about how much you hate them under your breath and Gareth bites his lip, eyes fixed intently on your finger as you push the glasses up onto your nose. “I uh.. Didn’t know you wear glasses.”
“I didn’t until today when they came in. Went to the eye doctor last week and apparently, the reason I’m a clumsy person has a lot to do with being blind as a bat. I mean not really, but my vision was bad.” you’re burning up all over and you can’t help but feel just a little pinned by his intent gaze. “Go ahead.” you pout a little. “You’re dying to laugh, I know it.”
“No, no.” Gareth says it and shakes his head. He’s not dying to laugh at all. He’s dying to tell you how hot you look, how the way you look right now, white cropped bra thing, slightly baggy sweatpants, your hair all wild and half up, half down with the glasses that won’t stop slipping down your nose just seems to fit you so much better than any other way he’s seen you lately whenever you cross paths. He wants to reach out and push your glasses up on your nose for you, maybe reach out and place his other hand on your hip, let his fingers drag lazy designs against soft, bare skin. He wants to be closer to you and lately, the more he runs into you like this, the harder it gets to fight this off.
It’s happened again, he’s stepped closer to you. Practically engulfing you as you tilt your head a little, hair falling away from your neck as you stare up at him and try to pull your gaze away, focus it anywhere else. You don’t even realize that you’ve got a hand on his upper arm resting against it until you feel the soft of his black sleeve under your hands and as soon as you do, you can feel your face burning and you’re quick to pull your hand away just to keep from making things weird or awkward.
Like they can’t be any more awkward than the night you covered him in cake flavored vomit in a classmates basement because you were just so nervous about kissing him because you really wanted to.
His other little sister runs past and you reach out, picking her up, the two of you laughing. “Did you wash your hands?” you ask her.
She pouts. Shakes her head no.
“Go wash your hands.” Gareth speaks up.
And even though he’s not using that tone on you this time, you can’t help but feel your stomach do that lazy flip that it does when he is using that tone on you lately.
Which is a lot, truth be told.
His little sister goes back upstairs to wash her hands and you’re poking around in cabinets in search of plates to put the pasta on. Gareth ends up behind you, reaching up over your head to grab them when he sees them in the cabinet you’ve opened and this puts his chest against your back.
Gareth has to grip his mother’s favorite plates just so he doesn’t drop them or sit them back down on the stack too hard and his breath hangs long enough in his throat that he wonders if he’s going to breathe again anytime soon. And his breath is warm against the shell of your ear, tickling at it as he mutters quietly, “I got it.”
You glance over your shoulder at him and you’re surprised that your brain allows you to get out a nod because the way he’s awkwardly pressed into you from behind has you beyond flustered. If he had one tenth of a clue what he did to you.
But he doesn’t.
He takes the plates and goes over to the table, sitting them out. One directly across from the other. And then he goes to another cabinet and digs out two pink plastic plates, stopping by the stove to fix his sisters their plates. You’re about to get up and get your own but he grabs the plate and goes back to the stove, returning with a plate and a fork, sitting it in front of you.
Then he fixes one for himself and sits down.
You’re twirling the pasta around your fork and you raise it to your lips and Gareth’s gaze fixes on you as he takes his own bite. Groaning at the taste as it bursts in his mouth. “This is good.”
You grin. “Yeah? Maybe there’s hope after all that I won’t burn down Hawkins High when I take stupid Home Ec this year.”
He can’t help but laugh at it and you take another bite. “Susan, she’s uh.. Teaching me stuff.” you muse aloud, twisting some hair around your finger as you place your fork on the plate for a minute or two. “Did you have band practice tonight or was it that uh.. The game.” you rub your temple trying to remember what Lucas called the game they’re always playing, the one that Gareth and his friends happen to play too.
“Dnd?” Gareth questions and you smile, nodding. “Yeah, that. What’s that stand for anyway?” you ask, curious.
“Dungeons and Dragons.” Gareth answers, taking another bite. Trying not to stare like an ass across his table at you when you take a bite out of your own plate too.
“Oh. Okay, that sounds cool, actually.” you admit, your soft laughter tapering off as you take another bite before you start to ramble or say something annoying or just do too much and annoy him because you’re not dumb. You know that lately, you’ve been crossing paths a lot more. And sooner or later, it’ll probably happen, you’ve already annoyed him one time this summer.
“Yeah, it’s fun.”
“My thing is poker. Or darts. It does sound interesting, I mean from what Max’s boyfriend has explained to me about it.”
Gareth scoffs. “Those kids still use a rulebook for everything. You should let somebody who’s played the game longer explain it.” he’s half joking and maybe, just the tiniest bit of what he’s just said is him and the overwhelming desire to make himself look better even though he knows it’s pointless, because you and him will never work out, there’s too much against it. He just can’t stop himself or turn it off lately and the more he runs into you at random like this, the more it seems to grow out of control. The more he finds himself doing -and saying, things that he probably should keep to himself.
You gaze at him thoughtfully. “Maybe I should.” you’re twisting your pasta again and staring even though you know you shouldn’t be, that it has to be unsettling. He raises up in his chair a little and leans out across the table, dragging his thumb against the corner of your mouth and it takes every ounce of will you possess not to whimper or something equally embarrassing.
“You uh.. Marinara.” he manages to stammer out, quick to pull his thumb away and sit back down in his chair. You swallow hard and nod, that cute little quiet giggle coming next as you glance down at the white cropped top you’d thrown on to wear with your sweats tonight.
You’d dressed for comfort, figuring there was little to no chance you’d encounter him while you were here and honestly, you were torn between wanting to kick yourself for it and being glad that you were a little comfortable right now because you were all tensed up. And now, you have the homemade marinara Susan taught you to make on Monday night on your top, so there's that..
“Thank you.” you smile as you pop the last bite into your mouth. As you stand to put your own plate into the sink, he winds up right behind you again. Reaching around to sit his plate into the sink too. “Since they’re playing in it more than anything and look like they’re about a second away from face planting their plates, I’ll take ‘em to their room, alright?”
His breath tickles the shell of your ear and flustered, you just barely manage to stammer out a quiet, “ ‘Kay.” as you nod. He picks up his sisters, one on each hip and makes his way up the stairs to tuck them in and given that you have a little time to kind of relax and breathe, you lean against the wall and do it.
You jump a little and hurry to collect yourself as you hear him walking down the stairs again. And you busy yourself in a hurry, washing the dishes and stacking them neatly in the rack next to the sink to dry. You can feel him watching you but you’re just too damn flustered to really look up just yet.
If he had even a tenth of a clue what being around him actually did to you…

oh ohhhhhhh ohhh wait. wait a fucking minute. listen. listen!!!!
flayed!billy and neil having an run-in a few days before The End. flayed!billy not scaring as easily, actually not scaring at all, compared to actual real!billy. turning right back on neil. except the mindflayer has a soft spot for his host becos the mindflayers fucked like that, so instead of just killing neil, the mindflayer decides to play with it's food for a bit.
real!billy doing his Thing and managing to get that one tear out. becos his dad may be a piece of shit but surely, surely, out of everyone, he would be able to figure out something's wrong. that billy's not billy. the desperation and the hope that maybe this is it, maybe this is only option, maybe making him just that little bit stronger. maybe him getting a 'dad, help, please' with a few more tears out before the mindflayer takes over again. but neil's a fucking coward at most and a piss poor excuse of a father at best, so he takes one look at billy crying, begging, and shakes off any doubt's and worry's, and treats him like he always does when billy turns to water under his weight.
he makes his voice harder, his grip tighter. his words crystal fucking clear.
and then flayed!billy is shoving him off, stronger than neil's ever felt him, and he's laughing, but not in a way neil's ever heard him laugh. and then he's turning to walk right out the door, camaro keys in hand, even though neil just grounded him for the entire fourth of july weekend, except he turns around just before he makes it outside, face completely blank and familiar, but neil's never seen this person before in his life, and says 'when billy and i have finished what we started, i'll come back for you.' and then he's gone.
and neil picks himself up from where he was crumpled against the kitchen counter, shakes himself off, and denies everything that just happened in the past 15 minutes. grips the bench to stop his hands from shaking, and promises himself that next time he sees billy, then he'll really let him have it. that just because billy thinks he's old enough to throw his own weight around, doesn't mean he's gonna get away with it under this roof.
except billy never comes home, and then it's the fourth of july, and neil and susan are trying to enjoy a nice dinner at home, a dinner that both their children were meant to be home for but aren't, but at least him and susan are having a lovely night. they enjoy it right up until the phone rings late that night, and then they're speeding to starcourt mall, and there's smoke and flashing lights and fucking military everywhere, and max is distraught, hugging susan like she's the only family she has left, and no one will tell him anything about billy except for a brief 'billy didn't make it, we're sorry for your loss.'
they won't let him identify the body. won't even release the body to be buried. won't tell him why all those people were in the mall after opening hours, what max and her friends were doing there. what started the fire. why there was fucking military clearing the scene. won't even give him a cause of death.
and every single time he closes his eyes, he hears 'when billy and i have finished what we started, i'll come back for you.'
he starts hearing it when his eyes are open, too, when he's trying to put together the funeral. when he tries to go back to normal life, back to his job, where his boss pulls him aside and gives him time off until his current family situation can stop effecting his work, back home, where there's no longer loud music shaking the doors, no car flooring it up the street, no fourth place set at the table for dinner, no shitty attitude and lousy excuses and brave backtalk.
everything's suddenly so fucking quiet.
so he fixes it. overcorrects. takes his sleepless nights and his workless days out on susan, is loud and brash and a constant immovable object. makes sure it's never quiet again. susan kicks him to the curb within a month, threatening police involvement if he doesn't leave quickly and quietly.
so, he leaves.
(then, susan and max leave for the trailer park, becos neil Left. and that's all susan will say on the matter. and then the upside down comes back with a new big bad, and max is right back in the thick of things in a way she never was before, but then suddenly billy's back. billy's alive, and he's back, and he's pulling himself with his bare fucking hands out of the upside fucking down before reaching around and helping her pull herself out and he's covered in blood and black goo and scars and injuries for days and, honestly, she probably doesn't look much better, but he's coughing and bleeding yet his heart's still fucking beating. and they somehow fucking found and saved each other.
and max is sitting by his bedside in hospital after every single surgery, and she keeps him company and puts headphones over his ears to listen to music and picks out the comic books that she knows he likes to read and she does her best to just never mention anything home related.
billy makes it a week after being back from the dead before he asks about neil.
'he left,' she says, because that's all that matters.
and billy fucking remembers. he remembers how hard he fought, how it took everything within him to overpower the mindflayer, even for those brief few seconds. how the only thing on his mind was this is it. this is my only chance. this is all i've got. and he remembers neil's eyes, wide, scared, fearful, but the second billy broke through, the moment billy shed a tear, fucking begged for help, his voice cracking over the word 'dad', neil went from speechless to loud. his eyes going from uncertain to cold. how the one time billy remembers asking his dad for help, probably the first time he's asked his dad for help since he was a kid, neil didn't even take even a moment to think about it. just took one look at him begging and crying, and steamrolled right over him, fucking sentenced him to death. all because he asked for fucking help.
billy closes his eyes and nods, doesn't think he could ever face neil again without falling apart for good.)

So first of all you’re like permanently associated with Barney Barton in my brain now so just FYI on that lol
and you reblogged the Aunt May thing and that got me thinking like could you imagine just each family member of a superhero going absolutely FERAL in their own unique way about how their superhero family member gets treated by the public or the press or whatever??
and then they make a little support group to trade ideas and tips and commiserate cause like “relative of a superhero” is a tragically small group lol we’ve got what, May, Barney, Hope Lang (who would absolutely organize a school walkout for her dad at the age of like 8 lol) and maybe Sam Wilson’s family?
and they name the group something super sappy that none of them take credit for but secretly they all love it lol
BESTIE, you won't believe how HARD it was to write this post. At first because of my exams, but then my internet stopped working at least five times during writing this and I lost my progress. I swear, this post is cursed 💀 I'M SO SORRY FOR MAKING YOU WAIT. Everything was against me, I swear. I hate tumblr. Also I didn't proof read this because I was too close to strangle someone so bon appetit.
(We're talking about this reblog)
Okay, but let's forget about my misery. And instead let's start with the fact that this is the best compliment I've ever heard in my life. Being associated with this stupid pathetic man is amazing and I am very happy about it 💕 Maybe when I get my shit together I would write something more about him.
But anyway, YOU HAVE AN AMAZING MIND. Want to kiss you so much, this is so incredible. This idea of a support group of superhero's family members is perfect. I will definitely write more posts about it because you opened my mind and I have too many ideas with it right now. I know something like that already existed in comics but I don't remember them trying to fix heroes' images and they were more like a therapy group if I remember correctly.
WE NEED ALSO ADD KATE'S SISTER TO THIS GROUP. After what happened in Hawkeye: Kate Bishop (2021) I am pretty sure Susan would join them. Maybe not immediately because let's be real, she and Kate really had shitty relationship before the Hawkeye (2021) and after all, for a long time she did not even wanted to accept Kate being a hero lol (she literally ended their relationship because of that). Love to imagine that after what happened in Hawkeye (2021) she decided to "Okay. I'll try to being more supportive. Let's fix her shitty image in media" but then she realized how shitty Kate's reputation is and got mad. She's rich lady, I am pretty sure she would try to bribe people to stop talking shit about Kate.
I need her interact with Barney SO BADLY. They always seemed too much alike to me because they both had to grow up faster because of their stupid fathers (I have even post about it in my drafts, maybe I will public it when I wouldn't be too shy) and I'm just so hopeless about POTENTIAL with their friendship. Just older siblings of Hawkeyes who has enough of their little siblings bullshit but also has enough with media bullshit.
Tumblr media
And I'm sure they would be TERRIBLE at fixing their sibling's image in the beginning. She would want bribe and he would want to blackmail or intimate (read: beat the shit of people). Even if they tried to solve this normally like May do, it probably wouldn't work well and they would go back to their old ways. Unknowingly more damaging to their siblings' reputation because they're idiots. Because no, bribing and blackmail the press wouldn't help change anything.
They're like those awkward parents who want to support you, but they do it in the worst possible way, embarrassing you in front of others and making you look like a loser. And Susan is the most awkward because she understands absolutely NOTHING about being a superhero. Barney know some things because y'know, he was a"""villain""" (he was so terrible in this to even call him a villain) and had his weird adventure with trying to kill Clint because of Zemo, then Thunderbolts and Dark Avengers with travelling across the multiverse etc. You know the deal. But Susan? Yeah, she helped her sister in Hawkeye (2021) but it was something not normal for her, like she said in #5 issue.
Anyway, Susan would most likely try to pay press to stop talking bad things about Kate but I'm pretty sure it would end badly anyway. I don't really see her writing to magazines, even if she did, she would probably prefer to call editors directly or even invited them for coffee or something like that. She would do it in the most "professional" way.
I can see Sarah being also feral about people talking shit about Sam but I know she would try to fix it in May way. Ya know, writing letters to magazines, giving bad reviews etc. But I know Sarah would send her neighbors and family friends to help her as well. Unfortunately, I didn't read a lot of comics with Sam so I don't know Sarah's personality or Sam's background well, so I can't talk a lot about Sarah. But based on Sarah's reaction when the newspaper wrote article about Sam's "shady past":
Barney however... Let's start with why I think he would be violent. While I like to think that he would try get a redemption after the shit what happened to him when Zemo got his hands on him, he wouldn't be able to live as normal citizen. Since he is still a wanting criminal and public will always connect him with people like Osborn no matter what he would do. So I know he wouldn't try hard to change his usual ways to fix problems since he'll be always see as a criminal. And we know how it works, why change your ways when people will always see you as bad guy? That's why I can see him using violent ways to help "improve" Clint's image. But I think he would try to it do in May way someday, because after all, he is just a tired guy who wants to have a peaceful life BUT we're talking about Barney, c'mon. Maybe he would try to find a balance, I can see him trying so hard to do it in peaceful way, maybe May or Sarah would help him in that lol. He would definitely subscribe to newspapers who wrote good articles about Clint (and if they also has a good crosswords) but he would be (almost) the most casual one in this group. Yeah, sometimes he would beat some random journalist but I like to imagine him joining this group more to find more non-villains friends and try to learn how to support his brother. It's just a weird type of therapy for him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Captain America (1968) #276)
... we can say that the way how public perceives Sam definitely affects her emotionally. So if there was ever a situation where suddenly a lot of the press started talking badly about her brother, she would definitely want to do something about it.
I like to imagine that the community where Sam is from (at least the one in the MCU) would definitely be pissed at the media's stupid talk about their Sammy. I'm not even sorry, but they would be his the biggest supporters. I think the media should be afraid to talk badly about Sam because I'm sure Sam's friends/neighbours would destroy them lol.
While Scott's daughter, Cassie is a superhero herself, I honestly think she'd love to join that group anyway. And like you say, Cassie definitely organized a school walkout for her father when she was a little kiddo. She loves her father and we know it make her furious when people call him a criminal.
I can also imagine that Sarah would be the one who started this group. However, I see May more as a "leader" than Sarah, mainly because she treats it more seriously (and I bet she call them "heroes who fight with press" or something like that). But maybe Sarah and May could run it together somehow. Honestly, there's definitely no official leader here, but since Sarah and May would take it the most seriously, they'd probably be the ones leading the group in a way.
Tumblr media
(Young Avengers Special Vol 1 #1)
She would probably argue so hard on the internet with assholes insulting her dad, especially after his death. I imagine one day she suddenly popped at Sarah's house where the meetings take place and just like she did with the Young Avengers, announced that from now on she will be part of their group 💀.
My girl just wants to have other people around her who understand how hard it is when their loved ones are treated like a shit by the public. Let her be. Cassie has always been the kind of person to me who didn't care what other people thought about her, ya know? But at he same time when someone suddenly started talking bad about her dad or her friends, she suddenly became aggressive.
As I began to wonder, why don't we add Bucky's sister to the group? Honestly, I think it would be funny. Especially considering what's been going on with Bucky in the comics lately. Poor Becca trying to fix Bucky's image in the media, which is impossible because sometimes I think Bucky's secret hobby is to ruin his reputation as much as possible lmao.
I see her joining this group after her father's death, because Scott, despite sacrificing his life, was still judged by society because of his past. Which isn't fair since Scott turned back to crime to earn money to pay for his daughter's treatment while she was sick. And he actually became Antman to save her. Cassie is one of my favorite female characters, even though she annoys me more often because some authors write her too childishly, but she still has her charm. She's my girl trying her best.
Rebecca is an old woman, ya know, her children live their own lives, her grandchildren do too, maybe we'll kill her husband in this au, so she's also a widow. So it shouldn't be surprise if she started doing it partly out of boredom and partly to get closer to her stupid brother. To her, this whole group would be such a fun hobby, better than playing bingo 💀
I like to imagine she likes to buy gossip magazines, highlights the negative articles about her brother while doing her normal activities, like I don't know, going to church or taking care of her grandchildren. And if she sees an article about someone else, she sends it to the other members of group. While May would take this whole thing seriously, Becca would take it more as fun. BECAUSE HER EFFORTS ARE IN VAIN ANYWAY. SHE WOULDN'T NEVER BE ABLE TO FIX BUCKY'S IMAGE. The media will always talk badly about him because this guy has no intention of acting like a decent citizen. She would fight with the press and lose every time. And even if one (1) newspaper wrote something good about him, suddenly there would be four more newspapers writing the worst things about Bucky.
"and they name the group something super sappy that none of them take credit for but secretly they all love it lol" tbh I tried SO HARD to imagine what name would be, BUT I'M SO UNCREATIVE. But I love this concept. I see Clint making fun of Barney because of that lmaoo. But at the same time, Clint would be happy because it means HIS BROTHER IS CARING ABOUT HIM. Clint has such low expectations of his brother, he'll accept ANYTHING AT THIS POINT.
(This gave me an idea for a winterhawk fanfic where Becca and Barney knew each other from this group and Becca suddenly tries to get even closer to Barney because "our brothers are dating, WE'LL BE FAMILY SOON, WE SHOULD SPEND MORE TIME TOGETHER". Imagine one day Bucky finally visits his sister and finds Barney and Becca (and maybe the rest of the group) playing bingo or crosswords together. And Buck is "YOU KNOW EACH OTHER???" and Becca would be "Oh yes. He keeps me company, unlike SOMEBODY WHO WON'T EVEN ANSWER MY CALLS".)
I'm sure Susan would be against such a sappy name for a very long time because she's a SERIOUS businesswoman and she takes this whole group SERIOUSLY. But I know she would love it after some time, she has such a vibe of corny mom.
Cassie would think this name is super non-cool and try to find better name but her names would be WORSE. I'm so sorry Cassie, but you're sometimes personification of embarrassment.
Somehow it's funny to me that everyone here has a slightly different approach to this whole group. It could be the perfect idea for some fanfic series, because their dynamic would definitely be chaotic.
Barney Barton: Joined because he wanted to make friends fix his relationship with Clint and to do something good with his life. His ways are brutal (and illegal), but maybe in the future he will change it.
May Parker: Takes it very very seriously. She's also the most supportive of other members and most likely will give you the best advice.
Sarah Wilson: Also takes it seriously but not in the extreme way as May. She has "army" of neighbors and friends who are always happy to help her with "fixing" Sam's image.
Susan Bishop: She wants to support her sister and show that she accepts her as a superhero now. She treats it like a job and she prefer to call/invite editors directly for a talk or try to bribe them.
Cassie Lang: The most aggressive of them all. I would call her a combination of May and Barney tbh. Mostly probably arguing on forums or elsewhere on the internet.
Rebbeca Proctor: She treats it as a hobby and a nice way to spend time. She knows her efforts are in vain so she's here just for the ride.
Anyway, that's my thoughts about this concept! Thanks again for ask it was such fun to think about it! 💕💕 I'm again very sorry for a long wait, I swear it wouldn't happen again. I'll probably make another post if I come up with something else with this concept lool.

may i present: stalker!billy who is obsessed with steve and constantly breaks into his house to steal his things and gets pissed off when he sees jonathan taking pictures of him and nancy because he thinks he's taking pictures of steve.
I WROTE THIS REAL QUICK BUT I NEEDED TO DO THE TINIEST LITTLE DRABBLE ON IT AND?? MAYBE I SHOULD?? TURN IT INTO A FULL FIC IDK?? So much pOTENTIAL?? ANYWAY I’M GOING TO SLEEP NOW BUT THANK U MUCH FOR SENDING THIS LITTLE?? REQUEST? IN?? IF IT WASN’T A REQUEST LET ME KNOW AND I’LL DELETE THIS ILY
trigger warnings: stalking, dark!billy, slut shaming? maybe it would be called?, possessiveness and toxicity and also billy thinking about hurting/murdering people but nothing too intense or bad!
✦ ✦ ✦
Steve Harrington’s house still baffled Billy despite being inside dozens of times. It was just so different than the shitty house they’d moved into when moving to Hawkins, where he had to use a milk crate as a vanity and the shower he shared with his brat of a kid sister only spit out hot water half the time. It was massive, with a gorgeous swimming pool like the one he used to have in their home in California.
He still didn’t understand the downgrade. Their home had been much nicer in California, Neil had had a better paying job. For whatever stupid reason, after he married Susan, his father decided to take a transfer to Hawkins where he made half his Californian salary. They were financially struggling and it made living with Neil even harder than normal.
That was the real reason why he liked being over to the Harrington house so much.
Steve didn’t know he was constantly around, but it made no difference. He didn’t need to know, at least not yet. He had to continue to believe that Billy couldn’t stand King Steve so he would never suspect that the reason his things were started disappearing was because of Billy Hargrove.
He liked to take souvenirs every now and then. A pair of Steve’s underwear here, one of his sweatshirts out of the laundry basket there. Someone so rich would never miss the disposable things, he figured. Nothing had happened yet, at least, and his Steve collection continued to grow.
The truth of the matter was that he loved Steve. It was why he acted so mean around him, like a child picking on a girl they had a crush on in the school yard. It didn’t work, though. Steve continued to be blissfully oblivious to his advances even though Billy got more and more obvious about it — a few weeks prior he’d pressed his bulge against Steve during a basketball practice, even, and nothing.
The guy was hopelessly heterosexual or a proper idiot, and Billy was banking on the later.
He was having a very rough day, a fresh bruise blooming on his cheek from the fist of his father, when he heard it.
Laughter. A girl’s laughter.
Nancy Wheeler’s laughter.
He crept to the fence surrounding the Harrington’s backyard and looked through the tiny hole he’d made a few months prior. The world suddenly turned red at what he saw.
Nancy Wheeler in a tiny little bikini, practically hanging off of his Steve, who was also just in his swimming trunks. He looked as beautiful as ever, but Billy had the most sour taste in his mouth at the sight of Nancy.
It should have been him. He should have been the once pressing into Steve, holding his arm.
Steve belonged to him.
It wasn’t just the two of them, though. The older Byers kid was there, too, and he was also laughing and taking pictures of the pair of them.
He tried to calm down by adding up the facts in his head.
Nancy and Steve had broken up months ago. They were still friends, but they never really spoke. Steve had groveled over her for awhile, had let it affect his basketball skills, too, until Billy had taunted him enough that he’d gotten his head back in the game. There were rumours that Nancy had quickly moved on to Byers, which he had assumed to be true, but now he wasn’t so sure.
For her sake, he hoped it was true. He wouldn’t let anyone come between him and his lover, even if said lover didn’t know they were together yet, especially not Nancy Fucking Wheeler.
It’d be such a tragedy for the entire town if a bright young girl with so much potential wound up floating in the Quarry.
He watched her bounce around, trying to look innocent while still pressing her arms together in that way that girls did when they wanted to make some extra cleavage and show off without being obvious.
It made him feel sick. She was such a little priss in school, yet here she was, basically ready to star in a porno with her ex for Byers’ camera.
What pissed him off further was that it meant he wasn’t going to get into Steve’s room, either. They were supposed to be out of the house; Steve was always out on Tuesday’s at four. Billy was sure of it, because he’d been watching Steve every day for many months and knew what he did every second of every day.
He knew the kind of cereal he liked to eat, what station he kept the radio on, how he folded his socks and where his secret stash of condoms and nude magazines were. He’d looked through them, had found the pages that were turned down. They were all women, all brunettes with tight bodies that could have been Nancy if you squinted hard enough, but it didn’t make any difference.
They were destined to be together. Steve just didn’t know it yet. But he’d find out one day soon, and Billy would convince him they were soulmates whether he liked the fact or not.
The more he watched, the angrier he got. Steve had already had his pictures taken for the yearbook by Byers’ two weeks and three days ago during fourth period at school. Their current little party wasn’t anything to do with school or the yearbook, he was sure of it.
This was Jonathan Byers being a pervert and Nancy Wheeler being a slut and he couldn’t let his sweet boy be tarnished by their poison.

In defence of Billy Hargrove (part two: affects of abuse)
Billy Hargrove was not the best of people. Despite what antis may suggest, the majority of us can acknowledge that, I’m not going to sit here and fully defend his actions, because many of the things he did were pretty reprehensible, but I’d like to go further into the affects of his upbringing and it’s possible affects on his behaviour. And most of all, despite his actions, I still hold firmly onto the belief, that he deserved a second chance.
Billy Hargrove lived a pretty shitty life. His father was an awful person who abused him, and the mother that was present in his life (his step mother Susan) stood by and watched this abuse happen with little intervention. To grow up without parental love is extremely damaging, from a psychological point of view, we all need a certain amount of nurture to grow up, to grow into ourselves, and to grow up without that may sometimes lead to little to no self esteem. This is what I believe resulted in some of Billy’s behaviour.
Throughout the shows runtime Billy is portrayed as arrogant, confidant, flirty and brash, with little to no cracks in the mask, however the little slip ups we see in his behaviour are very telling towards his real mindset. People who are miserable often put up facades to distract the world of how they really feel, and oftentimes to distract themselves as well. I believe Billy Hargrove was no different. He grew up beaten and bruised by his father, with no real mother to rely on, learned through experience that any show of real emotion could land him a beating, so hardened himself and created a new exterior within himself to protect himself from showing any weakness.
A couple times we really see him break, both in season three are the scene where he is trapped in the sauna by the main crew, and towards the end when he sacrifices himself to save them. The first scene in the sauna, we see him distraught, trying desperately to convince max that the killings he committed under the mindflayers influence weren’t his fault, miserable, and broken, far from the character that we witnessed prior. And the second, his final scene, he is finally shown comfort by someone, eleven, and sacrifices himself to save his sister and her friends. I for one, hate the majorities of this trope of redemption, but somehow I believe this one was a lot deeper than meets the eye. Billy Hargrove, I believe, hated himself. He was a miserable person who likely believed he was just as much of a monster as his father, so it’s telling that in his final moments, the first time we really see him being shown comfort within the show, he chooses to sacrifice himself to save the girl who showed it to him. However despite this I cannot fully agree with Billy’s passing, as I believe the notion that abuse victims can only find solace through their deaths as a pretty disgusting take.
Trauma is an extremely heavy load to carry. It can lead to feelings of misery, loneliness, anger, and hatred towards yourself and the world in general. Billy’s behaviour in my mind, seemed to wildly stem from this. He treated max poorly because he never really learned to treat her with care, something he himself hadn’t felt since his biological mother was around and he lashed out at the people he wanted to be close to (Steve Harrington in particular), because he didn’t know how else to get their attention. In my mind, Billy Hargrove was an extremely damaged and sad individual, and truly the fact that most other people can’t really see past someone’s anger to the underlying pain within is pretty upsetting to me.
Sibling relationships are complicated, I would know as I have three younger sisters. In the past I was pretty horrible to them myself. Taking out your pain on the people who you are close to isn’t as uncommon as you’d think, especially if seemingly they don’t see how much your hurting. Max and Susan became a part of Billy’s life after Neil Hargrove remarried. In my mind I believe there was a high likelihood that Billy had begun to get abused long before Susan and max joined the family, so it is likely the anger and resentment he had been feeling had already begun boiling over. Billy was already hurt and miserable, and I can only imagine how much more hurt he would feel seeing how max and Susan were treated in contrast to himself. Neither were beaten as far as we know, Neil was never shown to be violent to either, so seeing this I can imagine Billy only became worse off, more miserable and angry that ever before.
Billy was never really able to show any signs of redemption throughout season two, but we see a couple glimmers of hope in season three where him and max have appeared to grow closer. Max was the only one who seemed unable to accept Billy being possessed by the mindflayer, she seemed miserable, worried, and most of all I’m a state of pretty heavy denial, and I believe despite how poorly they seemed to get on, they both still cared about each other deep down. I’m unsure if max was aware of Neil’s mistreatment towards Billy, but when season four hit and she seemed in such a heavy state of grieving for him, I found myself really wishing that they’d had a chance to be close one day.
I will not sit and excuse Billy’s behaviour, like I said before, he did some pretty shitty things. But I think seeing through the complexities of a persons actions can lead to a much healthier mindset. Billy was never able to break away from his abuse. He was never able to get better, never able to get therapy and never able to build a healthier relationship with his sister. If it were up to me he would’ve been redeemed in a much healthier and more complex way. If it were up to me, his character would be written in a show with much better writers who cared enough to handle his character with the care it deserved. Despite his actions, I still love Billy’s character. It’s not often we see a character like him that’s deeper than meets the eye, and god it’s been nice being able to really connect to a character in the way I have to him. It’s not often that abuse/trauma victims are given a character to represent how we feel. And that’s why it’s so saddening that he was handled so poorly, people like us, we need hope, and if we’re treated like monsters, as was the case for Billy, things will only get worse.
(Let me know if I missed anything, been a while since I watched season 2+3, final part will be out tomorrow)

Title: Normal People Scare Me
Pairing/Characters: Stanley Uris/Bill Denbrough Eddie Kaspbrack/Richie Tozier Ben Hanscom/Beverly Marsh
Rating Explicit | E
Warnings/Tags: Graphic Violence, Major Character Death, Dubious Consent
Child murder, miscarriages, child loss, alcoholism, hate speech and crimes, animal death and suicide
Summary: It’s a stenbrough fic (surprise surprise) and it’s loosely based off the concept of AHS’s Murder House. Bill and his new wife (Susan Brown; his first agent and it’s her bc his wife needs to be a bad person in this fic and I didn’t want to do that to Audra) move into a new home after a devastating miscarriage. That home is the house on Nielbolt, Bill figures some fresh air in a small town would be good for them, maybe also help their failing marriage.
Anyways guess what? The home already has residents. All of the Loser’s and some fun other cameos. Robert Gray is a just a ghost and he was just a human but his death (and what he did) was the catalyst for turning the home into a purgatory for everyone that would die there in later years.
The fic shows Bill and his blossoming friendship turned romance with Stan but they’re really just one of the many stories in this fic. Each of the Loser’s deaths are told- along with some of the cameos- and I’m really proud of the ideas I have for them. Richie’s is probably my favorite bc it adds to his ghost character. Spoiler: it has a lot to do with a pumpkin head. There’s also some side stories featuring their struggles of being stuck in this house.
It's a haunted house story with common themes of child murder/infant death and people making shitty decisions and there's a splash of romance but the main romance is kinda dubious.
