And since I can't stop talking about aroace characters, here is a list of characters that I headcanon as part of the aroace spectrum, and some canon! In no specific order, and I'm not going to give reasons, I just know that they are aroace (some have strong aroace coding, others just give me aroace vibes). They are all on the aromantic spectrum, I won't include the ones that are (or I think they are) just asexual, for the aro week.

1. The demon of the moment:

Alastor the Radio Demon, from Hazbin Hotel.

2. The guy who literally changed the weather to make a girl lose interest in him:

Saiki Kusuo, from The Disastrous Life of Saiki K.

3. The most talented and pizza lover ninja turtle:

Michelangelo Hamato/Splinterson, from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (almost every version).

4. The dragonlord, an ace in magic:

Merlin, from BBC Merlin.

5. The girlboss of the Scientific Kingdom:

Kohaku, from Dr Stone.

6. Mr. I-have-all-the-bitches-behind-me-but-I-don't-want-any-of-them:

Senku Ishigami, from Dr Stone.

7. The guy literally left a harem for a coke:

Gen Asagiri, from Dr Stone.

8. Romance pursues her, but she is faster:

Anzu Hoshino, from Romantic Killer.

I live and breathe for the hc that donnie and mikey are both on the aroace spectrum (all of them are tbh, but i think those two are just more close to the strict spectrum so i feel more connected to them, mikey would be strictly aroace and donnie could be grey-aroace biromantic) and they bond because of that.

So I'll probably write a fic about it but I'll try to sum up my idea of how they figured it out.

Donnie kind of already knew, he never bothered to look into a name for it, but he knew he liked guys and girls, but never really LIKED them yk what i mean? He had crushs but they never lasted more than a week so he never really bothered telling anyone about it

When Leo starts dating Usagi and they spend a great part of their time in the lair, Mikey starts acting weird all of sudden towards them and Leo thinks mikey's mad at him because he's dating a boy, he knows there's probably another reason but he can't force himself to ask mikey, because yeah okay, he said it was okay if he was gay and would always love his brother, but waht if he didn't??

One time when Donnie went to the kitchen to het coffe in the middle of the night, he passed through mikey's bedroom and heard someone crying, so he decided to check. Mikey was the one crying.

After trying to calm him down, he asks his little brother what's wrong and Mikey just goes "Donnie why does Leo gets to date someone and I don't?"

Donnie doesn't get it at first "Well, you're still 15, it's fine if you didn't find anyone-"

"I don't want to find anyone," he would say "I mean I do, i just, don't feel like it's gonna happen, it's confusing-" he tries to explain "I want to fall for someone, but at the same time I don't like the idea of having to date someone or even liking them romantically, it's like wanting what you can't have"

It takes a few more tries and explanations from Mikey but when Donnie finally understands what mikey means by that, he tells him about how he kinda feels the same.

They take Donnies phone and decide to look it up on the internet and find out about the aroace spectrum, and god, finding a label that actually fits them is somewhat comforting. Eventually Mikey comes out to the family and talks to Leo about it, and Leo's relieved to know his little brother doesn't hate him for being queer.

Being aroace might suck sometimes, principally when everything around you starts to revolves around romance, and people actually expect you to fall in love at any moment, but it kind of gets a little bit better when you have someone around that you know feels something similar to you.

I am apart of the 'All the Turtles are AroAce' society. I am very proud and happy to be here and won't be leaving no matter how convincing your argument is otherwise.

Raph is dating Mona Lisa? Aro spec or QPR.

Leo fell in love with his damn sister? Aesthetic/Strong Friendship Attraction gone wrong.

Mikey dates Renet? Strong QPR or Aro spec.

Donnie fell in love with April once upon a time? He can't tell the difference between wanting someone to be your friend, or wanting to date them.

I can sit here and make excuses all day, even if it takes me years to come up with one.

I am projecting extremely and you all have to suffer and deal with it.

I really like the hc where Mikey is aroace, which would be even funnier if he was invested in their love lives.

Aroace Mikey because he sparks comfort

I know why pan Mikey is really popular but honestly, I think aroace is a really nice fit.

There is a common trend about the bubbly/childish/open characters being pan and idk. It's just like making aroace characters inhuman or cold. It's less damaging/insulting of course but the personality of the character should not be that closely tied to their romantic/sexual attraction.

There can be cold pansexuals and really warm and loving aroaces!

Besides, aroace Mikey sparks so much warmth and softness and I love him so much.
