"Romance, huh? While not my priority it is unfortunately all my classmates seem to think about" -Saiki K

"I'd rather fall to my death than go on a date with her" - Saiki K (about Teruhashi)

Saiki K literally changing the weather to get out of a romantic situation

Aiura saying things like "We do it all the time" when pretending to be Saiki's girlfriend, then Saiki not entirely understanding what is going on and being horrified by the conversation (they never specify what "it" is, at least in the sub, but judging by reactions of the other characters and the conversation, im assuming it's referring to something sexual)

One argument I keep on seeing as to why Saiki is definitely not aroace is that he admitted Teruhashi is pretty, and like admired how she looked for a few seconds when lost his powers. Like ok???? You can admire people's beauty and looks without being romantically and sexually attracted to them.

Anyway just because Saiki never says "Hi I'm Saiki Kusuo, and I am aroace" doesn't mean that he automatically can never actually be aroace. He was still written as a person without romantic or sexual attraction/ a person who doesn't understand romantic or sexual attraction whether the artist intentionally meant him to be aroace or not. Just like if a character expresses being attracted to the same gender, or multiple genders, they would be canonically queer even if they never actually say "I am *insert sexuality here*".

And since I can't stop talking about aroace characters, here is a list of characters that I headcanon as part of the aroace spectrum, and some canon! In no specific order, and I'm not going to give reasons, I just know that they are aroace (some have strong aroace coding, others just give me aroace vibes). They are all on the aromantic spectrum, I won't include the ones that are (or I think they are) just asexual, for the aro week.

1. The demon of the moment:

Alastor the Radio Demon, from Hazbin Hotel.

2. The guy who literally changed the weather to make a girl lose interest in him:

3. The most talented and pizza lover ninja turtle:

I need someome to write a saiki fic where the group is happy and hanging out and saiki is there pretending to be annoyed by the situation when yo ustart nearing the end of the fic someone tells saiki you need to let them go and that's when the reader finds out that saiki has been rewind everyone in the group by a day right before they died, trying to keep them alive, while they all remain ignorant to the fact they have been slowing crossing the line between life and death but they will never know true rest. And think it would be even better if one of them is terminally ill and they are constantly suffering but saiki is struggling to let them go. I know there was episode i think where he had like a time loop but i want it to hurt more cause my favorite flavor of fics is angst. The last lines would be something like just one more day. I just need one more day and either that was a lie he never plans to let them rest or he actually dies or something idk. I might write but idk.
