heyy! hope you're having a good day/afternoon/night so far! i've been enjoying many of your la squadra x child! reader drabbles, they're just so cute o((>ω< ))o
i was wondering if i could have some headcanons of the la squadra members letting their stands interact with the child reader (for the sake of this, we'll just say the reader is a stand user since it'd be impossible for a non-stand user to see stands)? idk, i think it'd be so cute seeing scenarios like: the reader giving little feet random useless things and just wanting it to shrink them or maybe the reader trying to teach baby face what they learned in school. not sure how the reader would interact with pesci or ghiaccio's stands since they're not exactly humanoid?? but i'm sure you'll come up with something awesome, haha. tysm!
Omg I’m crying
Child Reader interacting with La Squadra stands
Tumblr media
Let’s just imagine that you were born as a stand user (which actually really surprised La Squadra), so you can see their stands. You’re a curious child, so the only thing you want is to communicate with your adoptive parents stands, I mean.. who wouldn’t want to.
When you first saw Man In The Mirror, well, you just stared at him. Don’t think that you were scared, just the opposite. The stand’s features were just.. so interesting. So interesting that you didn’t even blink while looking at him (this scared Illuso af). But after some time you started reading book with the stand. Meanwhile Man In The Mirror just watched over you:
“And then, a big-big hippo.. hip..”
“Hippopotamus”, Illuso corrected with pure amusement in his voice.
“Hush, I’m not reading to you”, you rolled your eyes and then looked at Illuso’s stand that was hiding in the mirror “Am I right?”, Man In The Mirror just nodded.
And when you found out that Little Feet can shrink things, oh boy. Formaggio is already used to these moments when his child asking him if he can “summon his friend because I want him to shrink this book for me”. This moments is so random the poor man doesn’t even know when you want to shrink something again.
Ghiaccio’s White Album is your personal cat. Blue haired man didn’t want you to interact with his stand at first, but he couldn’t stand you being upset so he gave up.
“Can I see a kitty?”, you asked innocently.
“It’s not a cat and my answer is”, Ghiaccio looked into your eyes full of hope “My answer is yes, you can see him” he said before summoning his stand. Ghiaccio is an angry gremlin, but even he can’t resist your wishes.
Fishing with Pesci is gonna be a thing. It’s your monthly tradition after all.
“And now pull”
“Like this?”, you asked while pulling Beach Boy out of water.
“Yes”, Pesci patted your head while smiling, “You did such a great job”
Baby Face is willing to listen whatever you say. Hears something interesting at school? He is already waiting for the interesting fact you’ll tell him today.
“Did you know that whale songs can be used to map out the ocean floor? Isn’t it incredible?”
Melone is just happy to see you so hyped up about something, so he just watches your interaction. In addition, such conversations will help develop his junior.
Risotto would never have thought that his stand can be cute to someone. Well, that was before he met you. Even just holding those little beans in your hands made you so happy.
“Can I hold beans?”
Risotto was distracted from his paperwork.
“Sure you can, just make sure not to make much noise, I’m still working”, he said before Metallica beans were summoned in your hands.
What about Grateful Dead.. well, you saw him just once. From a distance. And after that you keep asking Prosciutto to see him again.
“When will I see your stand again?”, you confront him, looking disappointed.
Prosciutto just sighed.
“I told you that never, it’s dangerous” he replied before putting you in his lap. Anyway you’ll be waiting for Prosciutto’s stand appearance, you even draw him a picture. He must feel so lonely because Pros won’t let you see him.

🐇 Albedo
"My love, are you feeling comfortable? Would you like me to prepare you a cuppa? How about your pillows?" Albedo asked as he catered to your needs while you snuggled with a stuffed toy underneath the warm blanket of your shared bed.
Albeit shaking, you shook your head in response and smiled kindly at your lover. You felt lucky to have such an accommodating and caring boyfriend, seeing that he did his best to give you the best treatment during your anxiety attacks.
"I'm doing well, my love. Please don't worry," you whispered in a hushed tone and it was quite evident that something still made you anxious.
You were already recovering when a faint sound of explosion boomed from afar, immediately alerting you as you froze with a heightened sense of hearing. Albedo recognized this behavior of yours and stared at you with a concerned look on his face. Your distress over the sounds of fireworks were evident and seeing you skittish and uneasy state made him feel helpless to console you.
"My love, please relax. You're safe here in Dragonspine with me. There is nothing to be afraid of," Albedo said as he lovingly held you in his arms, caressing your back and patting your head in an attempt to comfort you. He wanted to tell you that you would not be harmed in any way and even the sound of Klee's loudest bomb-fishing explosives would not be able to reach his laboratory in the mountains.
You snuggled with Albedo and responded with a tight hug. You were aware the sounds of the fireworks were muted in Dragonspine. It was just that your anxiety heightened your senses on full alert that you were actually hearing explosives inside your head. However, your imaginative brain kept thinking there would be imminent danger that made you skittish.
"My love, you're here. You're safe...," Albedo whispered in your ears as he peppered your face with kisses.
Just a few more minutes and Albedo's calming potion would be ready. Hopefully, it should help your mind relax as he cuddled and comforted you. He was an alchemist after all and he would use everything in his arsenal just to keep you safe and happy.

🐇 Alhaitham
The dark sky lit up with various attractive colors followed by the booming of fireworks ringing everywhere. Everyone welcomed the first hour of the new calendar year with loud noises and the poor you couldn't help but yelp and whimper from the thunderous sounds.
"They're just fireworks," Alhaitham remarked bluntly as if you weren't stressing over the noises.
"I know!" you hissed before squeaking from the fireworks that had just decorated the sky.
In moments like these you wished Alhaitham would be more empathetic over your feelings. However, Alhaitham could not grasp why or how you acquired your sudden auditory anxiety that he failed to console you.
Tilting your head away from Alhaitham's view, tears streamed down your face as you felt stupid and helpless over your emotions. Yes, you were aware that these were just fireworks but for some reason, the sound just makes you feel tensed. Meanwhile, Alhaitham observed you - analyzing your behavior while browsing through the catalog of knowledge in his mind as to how to help you in any way.
The two of you were too occupied when another set of fireworks brightened the night sky beautifully. To this, Alhaitham immediately held you in his arms as he knew you would enter another state of panic.
"Hey. Look at me," Alhaitham demanded, tilting your head while covering your ears from the fireworks.
You weren't able to conceal your tear-stained face and could only obey Alhaitham as you looked at his sharp eyes, your body shaking from the unwelcomed noises ringing in your ears.
"Tell me five things you can see," Alhaitham asked, this time his tone had a hint of concern and kindness.
"Five things...?" muddled, you asked in confusion and continued to stare at Alhaitham only to be answered with a firm nod and a gentle smile.
"Five things... I can see your eyes. Erm... There's a lamp on our table. Also, your book is on your lap while we are underneath our sheets. And then... I can see your smile? Does that count?" you replied meekly, hoping the five things you mentioned were enough for Alhaitham.
"That's good," Alhaitham hummed contentedly while caressing your cheeks lovingly. "How about four things you can touch?"
"Four things I can touch? Uhm... Your hands; the book; the blanket. And - uhm... Our pillow," you replied while getting a feel of the items you mentioned earlier.
"Heh... Alright. How about three things that you can hear?" Alhaitham added.
"I - I can hear the fireworks...!" you squeaked skittishly.
"What else?" was Alhaitham's patient reply.
"I - I can hear the people having fun. And - and your voice... You sound a lot kinder now," you answered, catching yourself melting in Alhaitham's hold.
"That's good... How about two things you can smell?" Alhaitham added, not minding the remark you mentioned about the lace of concern in his tone.
"Two things I can smell...," you hummed before sniffling in the air to which your eyes twinkled in delight. "I can smell your body wash and the fragrant incense you lit. Is it lavender this time?"
Alhaitham chuckled and nodded as he continued to caress your cheeks lovingly, his overall demeanor now more caring.
"Yes, it is lavender. Now the last question is a bit tricky. Give me one thing you can taste?" Alhaitham whispered.
"One thing I can taste?" you confirmed while trying to actually describe the flavor you had in your mouth.
But even before you could respond, Alhaitham brought his lips onto yours in a passionate kiss that made you momentarily block out the sounds of fireworks.

It's Friday and I actually saw your list early!!!
You deserve the whole world, sweet tarts
Carrie stifles a giggle as she peers around the corner, seeing the guards chase after the vagrant chicken she'd liberated from the stableyard. At least one of them should have a bit of freedom before they met their fate.
And this would be her last chance, so she slipped her cloak over her head and disappeared into the shadows of the garden, through the hidden hole in the wall and made her way into the bustling market.
The air was rich with spices, fruit, coffee blossoms. It smelt like freedom. Everywhere was a cacophony of sound, in may different dialects, arguing over the price of fish, the measure of a bolt of cloth, the weight of a purse. Carrie loved it, loved to take it all in.
These were her people, and before she took the crown, she desperately wanted to know them, not whatever her father's advisors let her know. Not the painted false picture of happiness, but the truth of their struggles, their wishes, hopes, and dreams.
That's why every so often she slipped out of the palace, came into town, and walked amongst them, made notes over which stalls were doing poorly, which establishments were cheating their customers, which merchants looked the other way when the poor and hungry slipped an apple or loaf of bread they had no coin for.
Well that, and for the cute minstrel who wandered the street singing his songs for a bit of gold.
She'd come across Reggie during her third trip out, standing at a corner, loudly crooning a bawdy tale about her errant and long fled mother. Carrie had laughed aloud at it, and Reggie had lit up with delight that someone had enjoyed his song, bowing with a flourish and asking if she had a request.
"I like the one about the Maid of Maleen, do you know it?" she asked.
Reggie beamed, and surprisingly, bent low to kiss her knuckles. "I do, though her famed beauty is nothing compared to yours my blossom."
Carrie had blushed to the roots of her hair, hiding a pleased smile behind her hands as Reggie sang, making eyes at her all the while, and ever since then, every time she managed another sojourn into town, she found him once more.
Today he was beside the fountain, telling tales of daring do to the children that he minded while their parents replenished their wares. She stood back and listened raptly to the stories of knights bold, slain dragons, and dangerous djinn that granted wishes-at a price. Reggie spotted her and winked, but never broke from the story, intent on wowing this wide eyed audience.
Finally the stories were done, the children gathered, and Reggie was all hers. "You're good with them," she said, knocking their shoulders together.
"They're easy to entertain," he replied with a shrug. "Plus the coin isn't bad, even if I'd rather earn it through my songs than my child minding skills. But just a few more weeks, and I'll finally have enough to buy you something worthy of you my blossom."
"I don't need anything from you Reggie," Carrie demurred.
"But you deserve the whole world," Reggie insisted. "I'm no prince, but I can do the right thing and at least offer you a ring when the time comes."
Oh.
Carrie's hand froze in his. She knew that Reggie adored her, he'd said as much after their second meeting, and she confessed she felt the same some time later. But she also knew they were living on borrowed time. She was expected to marry a worthy suitor after she took the crown-some baron or duke if no prince offered himself up. There was no way the nobility would accept Reggie-who was good, kind, and sweet, but poor as dirt with no name or title-as the royal consort.
"Reggie..." she started, but he held a finger up to her lips.
"Please act surprised when I ask," he said with sincerity. "I know it's fast, but when you know..."
"I know," she whispered. "And if I could say yes right now I would."
"Just a few more weeks, I promise."
Carrie made a valiant effort to smile, but she was sure she failed, and the rest of their meeting felt stilted. It was almost a relief to leave him, just to leave the tense awkward feeling behind. But at the last moment she turned and blew him a kiss before slipping into the crowd and swiping at her gathering tears, knowing she would never see him again.
A few weeks later, Carrie was still feeling the sting of heartbreak, haing that she could never go back to Reggie, hating the golden noose sitting atop her head. Her coronation had been grand and lavish, but it had been joyless to Carrie, knowing it doomed her to a life of melancholy without real love.
Now her father was approaching her with letters from suitors, and one who was waiting in the hall.
"Well that's brash of him," Carrie replied. Part of her wanted to refuse him, just for his boldness, but she knew that even if no union formed they could become an ally, so she sighed and rose, letting her father lead her to the hall. "Who is this one?"
"A newer chap, inherited the household of some raj or other, right down to the man's title due to a debt the man owed his father. Bit of a stroke of luck if you ask me," her father said. "He's new to it, so I guess that explains him not knowing conventions well. You can smooth out his rough edges I'm sure."
"We'll see," Carrie replied. "I'm rather fond of rough edges as it happens."
Then as she stepped into the hall, she froze. Because the figure standing there in splendour and finery was a familiar one. Grinning wide with a small ring box in his hands, and his ever present lute on his back.
"Carrie, may I present Reginald Peters."
Reggie gave an overexaggerated sweeping bow, pressing a kiss to the back of her hand while waggling his eyebrows at her. "Told you I wasn't a prince," he murmured when he rose.
"Not far from it though," she replied.
He shrugged. "Not like you were exactly forthright about who you were Your Majesty."
Carrie blushed, but smirked at him. "As I recall, you did promise me the whole world some time ago. Ready to make good on that?"
"Always my blossom," he said, and opened the little box, showing her a truly gorgeous ring, bedecked by pink stones and small pearls. "And my whole life to, if you'll have it."
Carrie blinked away a tear and nodded, smile bursting forth as the ring slid home. "I'll take it."

Sure this is an art blog but is writing not just another form of art? Anyways take this it’s not finished but I think it’s cool!
Eustass Kidd x Usopp one shot fic, whole fic is in Usopp’s POV,
The idea of having four crews of the worst generation on one island was a terrible idea, however it couldn't be avoided. Sanji needed to restock on spices and meat, Franky wanted to dock somewhere to work on the ship and repair some things, even Usopp had things he needed to do on the island. But the thought of seeing Law's crew sounded like a pain in the butt while running into Hawkin's or Kid's crew sounded more like a fight waiting to happen.
"Usopp I don't like the sound of this either but the next island is about a week away, and unless you and Luffy can consistently catch a ton of fish. Luffy might start thinking about eating one of us."
"I would not!"
"Yes you would Luffy."
"Hihi! Yeah I would!"
"B-But, Nami... Please!!! I'd be fine if it was just Law's crew but-"
"Torao is here?!"
Nami turns to glare at Usopp. Shit. "That settles it! We're docking at the island then! That's alright right Nami?"
If looks could kill Usopp would probably be dead. Nami gritted out in a sickly sweet tone " Yeah, sure Luffy! I'd love to dock at the same exact island that three other dangerous crews are on!"
Luffy stared at Nami with a blank face, not quite getting that she was being sarcastic.
"..... Great?"
She sighs, she's been trying to help Luffy understand more social cues as well as when people are being nice versus when people are being rude. It looks like it's not working very well though.
Nami turns to Usopp, " This is your fault."
And truth be told, yes it was his fault that Luffy heard that Law was at the island but it was not his fault that they ran out of food to keep their ship crew fed. For the most part. Okay maybe he and Luffy one too many midnight snacks. Fine, more like 10 but who's counting.
Usopp heard a chuckle coming from Robin lying in the lawn chair and reading. " Well perhaps we'll run into a bit of fun? Maybe one of us will be framed for murder of a rival crew member?"
Franky comes out to the deck to reply, "Don't scare Nami and Usopp too much, plus I think it'd be a lot more entertaining if it actually was one of us! And it was like some kind of revenge plot or something!"
Robin looked at Franky with admiration and love, then proceeded to say "Isn't that a bit too cliche, Flam?"
"Well, I gues- wa-! Robin! You know I hate being called that!" Said Franky with a small pout on his lips. As Robin started to chuckle again.
"God they're so fucking sappy and cheesy, it's so cute and I'm really glad they're happy together but like god damn!"
"You're so right Nams, look at them all happy and shit. Absolutely disgusting."
"Girl, don't agree with me. I hate you right now, now we literally have to dock on this shitty island because you couldn't keep your voice down."
"You KNOW he has selective hearing, he would've heard anyways!"
Zoro interjected with "You know he wouldn't have heard anything if you both had shUT THE FUCK UP! NOW-"
"GO BACK TO SLEEP MOSS HEAD!"
"YOU SHOULD GO WANDERING OFF INTO THE DAMN OCEAN AND DROWN ASSHOLE!"
And Zoro immediately butt out of the argument as he got hit by both Nami and Usopp.
"Anyways, both of you are on dish duty for the rest of the week."
"You can't do that!"
"I DIDNT DO SHIT!!"
"Too bad, now get ready to leave the ship. You're also both on grocery duty."
The two men groaned as Nami walked away in a huff. Zoro looked at Usopp in the eye and sent him a little glare.
"Don't look at me like that. Look I'll buy you some good sake alright?"
"... I want two bottles of good sake."
"Ugh, deal."
With a little grin Zoro went back to relaxing, or maybe to maybe have a quick nap before going. Either way he was resting. Usopp walks down to his workshop to double check what parts he already has and which ones he needs and made a checklist of them. As he was about to go to ask Franky if he also needed any parts or what not he hears a knock on his door. Usopp opens it to find Sanji.
"Dish duty and grocery duty huh?"
"Man, shut the hell up."
Which earned a small laugh from Sanji.
"I'm gonna go wake the Marimo up now so you better hurry before we leave you."
"Wait, I gotta ask Frank a couple of things before I go."
Franky then pops his head from his workshop and proceeded to ask, "What do ya need to ask me?"
Usopp was surprised to see him there, not that it was irregular to see him in his own room. It was just that Usopp didn't expect him to be here. He thought he was still with Robin or something. He probably just didn't hear Franky coming down because he was so focused on his supply check.
"Since I'm going shopping I wanted to know if ya wanted me to get you any parts before they sell out of what we need or something."
"Aw, thanks little bro! I need like about 20 of the 35-67-20 seals and 10 of those 45-80-12 seals and about 100 or maybe even 200 nuts and screws of all the standard sizes and also three bouquets of Tulips, Rhododendrons, Zinnias, Plantain lilies and Day Lilies."
"Three?"
"Yeah, I looked for some flowers that were safe for deer and people and I'm giving one bouquet to Robin, Chopper and Nami to brighten their rooms a little!"
"Aw that's sweet! But don't you think Chopper might eat those? Considering that those flowers are safe for deer to eat? Although he isn't technically a deer but a reindeer."
Franky answered stood there in silence along with Usopp and Sanji. All of them ponder the question that was just asked. Franky then started to leave as he said to Usopp "So the seals, nuts and screws! Get 'em for me will ya? Thanks little bro!" And proceeded to go to the deck, probably to question Chopper whether he likes to eat flowers or not. Sanji then mumbled something under his breath.
"What was that Sanji?"
"Nothing, just wondering what I should make for dinner, anyways now that that's over with come on."
They walked out over to the deck to find Zoro, not where he was before. Or any of his usual sleeping spots.
"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!"
"God fucking dammit. He probably thought we left him or some shit. Fuuuuuck."
"That damned moss head, it's like he literally has moss in his head instead of an actual human brain. I'd say I can't believe this, but this is pretty on par for that dumbass."
"Should we split up and look for him before we go shopping?"
"We can't, we need to buy the groceries before the good shit is all sold out to the other crews, that fucking bitch is gonna pay if that happens!"
"Okay so what's the plan? Just buy the groceries?"
"Usopp look, I'm gonna need you to buy everything on this list I made for you. I'll handle half of the Marimo's list and you get the other half, can I count on you to buy the best ingredients you can find for as cheap as you can?"
Usopp smirked and replied confidently, " Nami ain't the only that can get a good bargain!"
"Hell yeah, go! Make me proud!
.
Usopp was arguing with a lady about the rice that Sanji needed him to buy. He heard from another vendor that he gets all his rice from here because her rice was high quality and delicious. So he did what he had to do to get the rice.
"My final offer! 10,000 berries for 160 kilograms of your finest rice!"
"Hah! The lowest I'll go is 16,000 for 30 kilos."
"What if I said please?"
"Hmm, 15,500 for 30."
"And if I said I'd help you repair your food stand?"
"Now you're talking! 12,500 for 30!"
"Deal! Pleasure doing business ma'am!"
"Like wise."
As Usopp shook her hand he felt proud of himself, he could understand Nami in a way. Getting a bargain did feel pretty good. But then he realised his mistake. He can't carry all this rice. Well technically he could, but that would take around two or three trips. Not only that but it's starting to get dark and he hasn't bought what Franky needs yet. He starts to think hard on what to do until he hears a loud yell from across the street.
He looks over and, oh. Oh no.
"Hey! You're the sniper for the Strawhats aren't ya?"
OH NOOOOOOOOOO
"Where's that shitty little kid anyways?"
This was not a good day for Usopp.
"Hey! You ignoring me or something you brat?"
"W-Who're you calling a brat! I'm only four years younger than you!"
Shit. As soon as Usopp finished his sentence, there was a murderous glint in Kidd's eye. He started to walk over to Usopp.
"Oh really? So you're the same age as that stupid captain of yours?"
"If you hurt me, uh. Luffy will come after you!"
He's getting closer he's almost right in front Usopp.
"Who cares about your captain? He ain't here now. What I wanna know is, what you would do."
What?
He leans over and whispers into Usopp's ear, "What would you do to me, huh?"
He then pulled away and smirked at Usopp. Taking in his flushed face.
"So you want help?"
"W-Whuh? Um. I-"
Kidd sighed and said, "THE BAGS? Do you need help with the bags? You know, the shit you have in your hands?"
"Oh! Uh I mean. I guess. Fuck! Yes, I mean yes I. Haha sorry. Just. Gimme a moment."
Holy fuck? What the fuck was that? What the FUCK was that? That was so fucking hot and terrifying holy shit what.
"Could you, h-help me with the rice? That'd be really helpful and um."
Kidd looks at Usopp, and asks with an aggravated tone, "What?"
"My name is Usopp. Uh, yeah."
Kidd raised an eyebrow and looked him dead straight in the eye. He laughed, and replied with a smile "I know."
This man is going to be the death of him. He didn't think it'd be this kind of death but nonetheless a death.
"So where do you need to go?"
"Well I need to go to the parts shop and maybe the junkyard if we have time."
"Sick. So which way?"
"Well a vendor I talked to before said that the parts shop should be further down a couple of streets and that I'd need to take a right turn at the red bar then proceed down that street and then we'd find it."
“Well then hurry up, I ain’t got all day you know.”
The walk was quiet, and quickly turning into an anxiety churning venture. He didn’t understand what was happening. Sure, he understood that he was shopping for groceries and then Kidd came into the picture. He invited himself in on this little adventure or whatever just as suddenly as he arrived. Usopp still wasn’t really sure what happened between that. That must have been a joke or something right? Or maybe this was a dream? Maybe he’s actually on the ship! Unconscious from Nami’s punch! Maybe-

Siren/Mythical creature au
@th3w00ds
Tumblr media
(This is the first time posting a writing thing here so please forgive me 🥲)
--------------------------------
“Phan! Phan! Phan! Phan!”
Phantom groaned, rolling onto his stomach and covering his head with a bundle of seaweed.
“Phantoooooom, c'mon! You promised!” Maren complained as he pulled on Phantom's tail to try and get him up, letting out little grunts as he did so.
“Two more minutes Mare…” Phantom mumbled.
The younger siren growled, flattening his ear fins, “You promised!”
Phantom sighed, “Okay okay, I'm up, I'm up.” He sat up, eyes fluttering open. “I'm up.” Phantom then yawned, stretching his arms and exposing his sharp teeth.
Maren grinned, ear fins perking up and then he swam off eagerly to go brag to Pandora.
“Momma! Momma!” Maren chirped, swimming over to Pandora, who was currently half asleep in her alcove.
Pandora hummed, slowly opening her eyes. “Yes Maren? What is it?”
“Phantom was gonna take me hunting!” Maren chirped.
Pandora's eyes momentarily widened before she relaxed and sighed, “Oh right, fish. Well you have fun, and try not to wake everyone up with your squealing.”
“I know… Mako's a meany head about it.”
“He just gets grumpy when he's woken up and is much more vocal about it then everyone else.”
“I guess…”
Pandora then ruffled Maren's hair, making him let out a noise of protest. “Momma!” he complained, shaking his head and trying to fix his hair.
Pandora chuckled, fluttering her ear fins in amusement. “Okay okay, have fun little minnow.”
“Love you momma!”
“Love you too.”
Maren then swam back over to where Phantom was, who was now sitting on the ledge, gently moving his tail up and down as he waited for Maren.
“Alright, you ready to go?” Phantom asked.
Maren eagerly nodded, the scales by his eyes and the stripes along his tail lighting up faintly and glimmering with excitement.
“Alright, let's go!”
Maren spun around in the water when they exited the small cave, giggling and spreading out his arms. Phantom smiled at his younger brother fondly. Maren didn't have permission to leave very often so when he did he was ecstatic.
“Hey Mare?” Phantom said.
Maren perked up, tilting his head, “Hm?”
“Did mom or anyone else ever show you above water?”
“Mmmmm… I don't think so.”
“Do you want to see?”
“Yeah!”
Phantom beckoned Maren to follow him and he swam up to the surface.
They raised their heads above the water and Maren squinted, unused to the sun. The gills on the sides of his neck pulsed, the salty air feeling strange on them. He was quick to point this out to Phantom.
“Mom told me that we don't need our gills above the water,” Phantom explained, “that's why it feels funny.”
Maren hummed in response, looking confused. It really didn't look all that interesting, just blue that faded into the lighter blue above them. Then there were white blotches in the lighter blue that kind of reminded him of seafoam.
“What's all that?” Maren asked, pointing up.
“That's the sky, it's really pretty in the morning, evening, and night, just not right now. And all those white things are clouds,” Phantom explained. “Okay now turn around.”
Maren followed what he said, and he gasped. There was a bunch of sand and green things on the sand. Then there was brown and white and a bunch of colored things. He could also barely make out shapes of figures along the sand.
“That's where humans live,” Phantom told him.
“Woah… They're dangerous aren't they though?” Maren questioned.
“Yes.”
“But don't we eat them sometimes? Why are they dangerous?”
“Because sometimes they also eat us. And they think our scales are pretty so they'll take our scales. And sometimes they just take us, like what happened to my- our dad.”
Maren stared at the shapes, frowning slightly and his ear fins drooped.
“They can be much more dangerous than we are. That's why you can't hunt them til you're older.”
Phantom then met Maren's eyes. “You promise me and mom that you won't ever go where the humans are until you're old enough,” Phantom told him sternly.
“I promise Phan,” Maren replied.
“Good boy. Alright, how about we hunt something a little less dangerous?”
“FISH!!!” Maren shouted, raising his hands in the air and spreading his webbed fingers.
Phantom chuckled, “Yes Mare, fish. Let's go.”
The brothers then dove back under the waves, bringing a flurry of bubbles with them.
“Alright, now we gotta be quiet, we're gonna spook the fish,” Phantom said in a stage whisper.
“Okay,” Maren replied, also lowering his voice.
Phantom then slowly swam, Maren following alongside him.
“We’re just gonna swim, you tap my arm when you see something,” Phantom told him.
Maren nodded.
He looked around, glancing at patches of seaweed, piles of rocks, sand dunes, ect. At one point Maren saw a sea turtle, but Phantom told him it'd just hurt his teeth. Of course, when he was actually looking for fish he couldn't find any.
Eventually, Maren spotted a small school of some fish he didn't recognize. He then eagerly tapped Phantom's arm. The older siren looked over and nodded; gently pushing Maren against the sand.
“Okay, get as close as you can by pulling yourself along the sand and pounce, use your teeth. If the fish start swimming away fast give chase, I'll yell at you if you get too far. Don't tire yourself out over small fish,” Phantom explained.
Maren nodded, pressing himself closer to the sand and flattening his ear fins. He then crept towards the school, trying to keep himself as still as he could. He'd haphazardly chased fish before so he had a tiny bit of practice and knew what to expect. The fish just continued peacefully swimming. He wanted to make Phantom proud, he wanted to make his mom proud. He wanted to prove he was capable, and that maybe some day he could visit outside of the water.
Once Maren assumed he was close enough, he lunged, opening his jaws and snapping down on empty water.
Maren hissed, chasing after the fish, even reaching out to try and grab it at one point.
“Mare let it go!” Phantom shouted.
Maren didn't want to. He put on one final burst of speed, letting out a muffled noise of triumph when his teeth crunched on scales. His eyes then went wide, not slowing down enough and tumbled backwards through the water; smacking into the seafloor and knocking sand loose.
“Maren!” Phantom yelped, quickly swimming over.
“I'm okay!” Maren insisted around the fish in his mouth, the thing still twitching. He righted himself and shook the sand from his hair. “Phan I did it!” He exclaimed.
“That's my little brother!” Phantom praised, wrapping an arm around Maren and shaking him playfully.
Maren giggled, grinning happily around the fish. He then took the fish from his mouth and bit down on the back of its head, stopping its twitching.
“Would you look at that.”
Maren perked up, looking over and, to his surprise, seeing Pandora swimming over.
“MOMMA!” Maren shouted in excitement, dropping the fish and zipping over to her. He hugged Pandora, practically vibrating. “DID YOU SEE ME!? DID YOU SEE ME!?”
“I did, I did,” Pandora replied with a nod. “I'm so proud of my little minnow!”
Maren beamed, fluttering his ear fins and puffing out his chest with pride. “I'm gonna show everyone!”
“I think I’ll just let you do that,” Pandora said, booping him on the nose.
Maren giggled, “Everyone gets a peice!”
“I'm sure they'll appreciate that, now I want to talk to your brother for a second.”
“Okay momma.”
Pandora then turned to Phantom as Maren swam off.
“Did you tell him?” Pandora asked.
“I did,” Phantom murmured.
Pandora sighed sadly, “I wish we didn't have to.”
“You told me, we all know how it is.”
“Maybe someday.”
Phantom nodded in agreement, watching Maren doing backflips in the water.
“Maybe someday.”

Suggestion and Abby Justin we're now a couple they're named and people who like her there are others. Things are going along smoothly there are a whole bunch of people who completely shocked at today's developments, today all day long steady stream of cars is going from All points in Florida to Miami and leaving and it was not anticipated I most of these higher ups and it's true they said screw you were out here this place is terrible and they're leaving no Way out on their way out about half of them caught up and are gone. At least many people want to evacuate more because they are up is getting ready.
They're several groups of people who oppose was going on today. The numbers are staggering it's got to be 50% of who is here earlier. That's that's right 50% of the warlock who are here yesterday evacuated. And now I'm getting numbers of 60%.
They don't like how it's going in Florida and wanted to leave and left that's a huge evacuation from here it's a big number and it's only getting bigger and tell me it is about 62% and at this rate it won't be in here pretty soon that's a huge huge Exodus of warlock
Hera
We did say the above part. There's a ton of people who wants to leave Florida and our son was wondering why but he used to work before the idiots had him running around like a vagrant. And our son says it and our daughter. And the feeling is that you should be at work and you're not being productive when you're in trouble and they said we can't get work here and we don't know how to find the work and stuff like that and they're free and the job is really here. And Billy Joel sings in the song that he is a fisherman and really hes a pirate but that's what he means. It means in Florida really all you can get is like stripers nobody wants to strip her and don't be any good so he's heading back east where the job is another part of it is a say it's probably a hook the fishing hook
And really in other words if there's a lot of people who left Florida and they're not coming back and it doesn't seem that they're in filling. The number is steadily going down and we've been waiting for this so danger sign, it's a warning and we need to pay attention
Hera
That's true as we said the top part again and we do also need to pay attention we do not have a huge presence here yet and we need one and we need to infill right away and he says it's a perfect opportunity to come down and develop take over neighborhoods and rip out a neighborhood. I will see that too and I'm going to go ahead and do it. Have a weird feeling this is going to work the neighborhoods are going to be the construction crew of the apartment complex or housing companies and you put the temporary structures to live in whatever they are usually trailers right on site and I see how that works it's going to work this has been really tough and we can call for help if we need it and just go from where we are and work our way out and all of us actually this house working and we're going to go ahead and your boys are here with us yes nightmares and people are saying stuff.
They are evacuating Florida and pretty much all of it and we mean in the whole state. You got some great ideas I'm going to see if we can deploy them but right now we have a huge evacuation here and it is gigantic in Florida we didn't expect it it's almost all of them well it's a big big portion much bigger than we thought and the higher up just started to think about it. Of their generals might be leaving what would their job be. In the upper Midwest Illinois is emptying fully it was funneling out today and now it's flowing out to the east and the massive numbers huge numbers are leaving and they'll be out completely just an hour or two from now and I said we will move the wall and clear it out I mean 10 times I'm taking the Great lakes region and halting.
We're going to publish now

I wonder what would happen if Y/N had a really bad day and just decided to pick a sibling from the Yan!Todoroki clan like a cat would pick its person and just?? Sit in their lap?? They'd say 'I had a terrible day, no torture today please' before taking their well-deserved nap lookin' all cute and peaceful. Then the sibling would be so proud and confused at the same time but really really happy like 'omg for real? Me? What's happening?? 🥺'. Bonus points if it's Dabi just having the widest grin on his face while staring straight at the rest of the fam seething with jealousy.
I saw your works btw and been inhalin em all cause they're all so good *chef's kiss*

This is so cute omg. Thank u Vibin anon!
Check out my MASTERLIST for more!
Yandere Dabi:
Shotou had come to pick you up from school today. Even though he had a busy schedule himself, he still made time for you, just like the rest if your family.
"How was school?" He asked.
"Fine."
"Just fine? Wasn't your result supposed to come today?"
You nodded. "It did. I passed."
Shotoy smiled. "Thats great. Did you get your report card?"
You knew he was going to ask for it. You also knew that he already knew what grades you got.
You nodded and handed him the report card from your bag.
Shotou's face lit up when he saw your grades.
"You're first again. I'm so proud of you." He patted your head.
You smiled. "Thanks."
By the time you guys reached home, you already knew that your entire family was home. They always were when your result came. You knew the principal had already informed Enji of your grades, she always does.
When you entered the house, your family yelled "surprise!" You feigned shock as they hugged you and congratulated you on your achievement.
Rei had prepared a little feast for you, everything was made from scratch. Enji was beaming with joy, he was so proud of his little girl. Rei had made your favourite cake, kissing your cheek as you cut it. Enji had gotten you beautiful diamond necklace. Natsuo, Shotou and Fuyumi had gotten you some gifts as well, stuff you had vaguely mentioned about. Dabi wasn't home, but you didn't mind his absence.
Your family had planned to spend the night on the couch cuddling and doing a movie marathon, but when you asked them to excuse you for the night because you were feeling tired, they became a but worried. You reassured them that you just had a long day at school as well, and now that you were stuffed with Rei's delicious food, sleep was inevitable. They nodded, a bit sad that you wouldn't be joining, but understanding nonetheless.
You went up the stairs to your room, and as soon as you closed the door, the smile you had been displaying all night was wiped off.
You sat on your bed and recalled the events of the day. Tears pricked your eyes, but you kept yourself quiet. They're not worthy crying over, you reminded yourself. Still, you couldn't help but crumple up your report card and throw it in the dustbin.
Silent tears fell from your eyes, no longer being able to hold them in. God, its infuriating.
Suddenly, you heard someone knock on your bedroom door. You looked at the clock. 12 am.
Its Dabi.
You couldn't deal with him tonight. You remained silent, hoping he'd leave you alone.
But of course not.
You quickly turned away from the door as soon as you heard it open. Wiping your tears quickly, you heard Dabi come in.
"You brat. Why didn't you answer when I knocked?" He asked, pushing the door close with his foot.
"Leave me alone, Dabi." You were trying hard to stabilise your voice.
"Huh?! Is that anyway to talk to your favourite brother?" Dabi mocked as he pulled at your ponytail. You yelped before turning around to push him away.
Dabi was about to laugh at you when he suddenly noticed the your face. Your eyes were full of tears, lashes heavy with them. Your face was flush, your nostrils flared, your lips in a pulled in a tight scowl. Had you been crying? Or did he make you cry?
"Hey, I'm sorry-"
"Just leave me alone." You said as you angrily wiped the tears from your face.
Dabi was shocked to see you like this. He had never seen you cry, not even when he took his teasing a little too far. So, to see you react like this, it worried him a bit.
"Have you been crying? What's the matter? Did you fail or something?" His voice actually held some concern.
You shook your head, pulling your ponytail loose. "Its nothing. Just leave."
Dabi could see the pain in your eyes. What happened? He plopped down on your bed next to you. "Come on. Tell me." He poked your shoulder. "You know I won't leave until you tell me."
"Its nothing, really." You sniffled, avoiding his gaze.
"Did Enji say something?" Dabi asked, his voice taking a dangerous tone. "Look at me. Did he do something?" He's going to kill that bastard if he-
"What? No. God, just go."
Dabi let out a huff. He'll have to use another strategy. "Fine. Don't tell me. I'll just tell Shotou you have been crying, and then you can answer to him."
Shotou? God, he would just overthink everything and do something stupid.
You caught his wrist just as he was about to leave. "Do you have to be such a jerk every single day?" You glared daggers at him.
Dabi smirked before pulling his wrist away and plopping on the bed next to you. "Yes. Big brother privileges." He poked your cheek. "Now spill."
You looked at him, hoping he'd just get blasted magically. Idiot.
You inhaled deeply before closing your eyes. "Its stupid, really." Dabi stared at you, signalling for you to continue. "Something... happened at school." You paused. "Just a couple of assholes."
Dabi was attentive now. "Go on."
You looked down at your lap, playing with your fingers. "Some kids in my class... they said mean things about me."
"Bullying?" Dabi quirked an eyebrow.
You shook your head. "I- I don't think so. They just said that I only get the highest grade in class because of my dad. Like Enji bribes the school into giving me good marks." You sniffled. "They undermine me. They say I'm not good enough to be in their school, and that the only reason I got in was because of my surname."
Tears dripped down your face slowly, almost as if they were ashamed to fall.
You wiped them away harshly. "And it doesn't matter what I say. I've tried to befriend them, I've tried to get along with them, but they still ridicule me. Its frustrating. They... they don't understand that my only option is to be the best." You whispered the last part, but Dabi heard you loud and clear.
He sat up and gently gripped your chin, turning your face towards him as he narrowed his eyes. "What do you mean 'its your only option'?"
You rolled your eyes. "You know what I mean. I know that no one in the family cares if I get the highest marks or not but...I still have to live up to the family name. What will people say if the number 1 hero's kid is both quirkless and dumb?" Your lips wobbled.
Oh. Ohhhh.
You don't want to let down the Todoroki name; you don't want to let down Enji.
He already knew it was that shithead's fault.
Dabi sighed before pulling you close to him. Placing an arm around your shoulders while his other hand wiped your tears away.
Wanting to prove your worth, that you're a valuable asset to the family. Dabi never thought he'd see himself in you, or his younger self really.
"You're an idiot." Dabi began, carding his fingers through your hair. "You don't have to be the best. You're not expected to. You know, the family knows, hell even I know how hard you worked to get in that school. I've seen how you'd do all nighters, how many times you've turned down going out so that you could do well in your exams. But you don't have to do that." He tilted your chin up, staring into your glossy eyes. "We don't care what the public thinks of us. We won't care if you fail. We don't care you're quirkless. You're not expected to be anything but a good girl." He squished your cheeks together, making you look like a fish. "You just need to be safe. Do you understand?"
You sniffled as you nodded. "Yes. Thank you."
Dabi smiled. "Why didn't you tell anyone before?" You shrugged in response. "You know what would've happened if I said anything. They're already hesitant to let me go to school, this would just give them another reason to homeschool me. Besides, I didn't let their words get to me before, so it really wasn't a big deal." Before? You were about to continue but then kept your mouth shut. But Dabi saw that. He pulled you away from him, his eyes turning sharp as he raised his eyebrows. "But something else happened today as well?"
You averted his scrutinising gaze, keeping your lips sealed as you shook your head no. "Do not lie to me. Or I'll tell Shotou and Enji and then they can handle-"
Your eyes widened. "Do you ever stop making threats?" Rolling your eyes, you told him what happened. "It wasn't anything serious. One of those jerks... thought it'd be funny to try and kiss me. When he tried to force me, I slapped him. Really hard. My handprint still on his face." You smiled at that. "He said the only reason he wasn't using his quirk on me was because I was Todorokis charity case. Then he said that I should be grateful that he was going to kiss me, especially since no one cares about a quirkless, frigid bitch like me." You let out a humourless laugh, but Dabi could see the pain in your eyes. You gave a small smile. "Dont worry. I already know what they said isn't true."
Thats it.
Dabi was already planning murder. He's going to make those little shits pay for what they did to you. The nerve to not only bully you, but make you cry, and then touch you? Dabi is gonna make sure they get tortured in every way possible before he incinerates them-
"Dabi?"
Your soft voice pulled him out of his violent thoughts.
"Hmm?"
"Can you... stay the night?"
He looked at your tear stricken face, your eyes were still laden with tear drops, your nose red from all the sniffling.
How could he say no to you? You looked ugly.
"Its okay. You don't have to-" you were cut off by a pillow hitting your face.
"Move over, brat." He climbed in the bed with you, covering you both with the blanket. "And don't put your cold feet on mine." You smiled cheekily at that.
"Don't hog the blanket- why do you need it anyway?"you yanked the blanket.
Dabi pushed another pillow on your face, laughing as you punched his shoulder. "You're insufferable."you mumbled.
It took a while to get comfortable on your single bed, but it ended up with your head on his chest, while Dabi propped himself against the headboard.
"Thank you." You whispered.
Dabi hummed. "Dont think I don't know why you're doing this."
You smiled softly. He caught on to why you were keeping him home that night; you knew he would do something terrible to those guys. "Promise me you won't hurt them?"
Dabi remained silent. You pulled your head away to look up at him. "Dabi. Promise."
When he didn't reply, tears started forming your eyes. He sighed, before shoving your face back into his chest. "Fine, crybaby. I won't hurt them. Promise." You're such a brat, stopping him from doing his big brother duties.
You went back to snuggling him, not taking long for you to finally go to sleep. Once Dabi made sure you were asleep, he pulled out his phone and texted Toga.
"Need a favour. Up 4 stabbing?"

Tumblr media
Lonely.
That's what you are feeling. It's been 3 days you got stuck in this unknown land. You thought it was beautiful, it really was. But will you be ready to face what's in front of you?
You manage to survive with fruits like apples and cashews, at least that's what you thought the name was, because in your world they called it cashews. Even though it doesn't really give you enough nutritions, as long as you get to live you're okay with it. Heck there were almost nothing here. You wanted to explore the place more but there are monsters everywhere, and you- with no weapon, could only run and hide in hopes of not getting spotted by them. Will you ever survive?
Sighing, "just another day like this I guess"
you said before drifting to dreamland under a tree in a secluded area of the unknown land.
----
"She's still breathing"
"Paimon! What are you doing?!"
You could hear someone whispering- half screaming to be exact, at someone but you are more bothered at someone poking your arm with a stick. Groaning, you woke up and realized someone invaded your place. Ready to fight whoever that was, your actions suddenly come to a halt when you meet a pair of golden eyes and his tiny little companion. They were as shocked as you, well... I guess you are more shocked to see a floating kid beside the blonde boy.
Quickly, you hide behind a tree. Since you don't have any weapon to defend yourself what else can defend you other than a tree?
"w-who are you?! And why you can float?!"
you shrieked, the little floating kid crossed her arms and scoffed at your question. Why would she scoffed at you?
"excuse me young lady but we're the one who should ask you that!".
You just meet her now but god knows how much her high-pitched voice started to annoy you. The blonde boy beside her started to speak up before his companion could even say a word,
"I'm sorry she bothered you. I'm Aether, and this is my travel companion, Paimon. We found a group of hilichurls around here and we already fight them off before it could reach your campsite. May we know what is your name?" he asks as his pair golden orbs stares straight into you.
"Uh.. My name is y/n..."
He smiles, assuring you that they're safe and can be trusted, you slowly got out behind the tree when he stretches out his hand for a handshake. You grab his hand, reciprocating his action. "it's nice to meet you y/n".
----
"No"
"Aether c'mon please?"
"ugh fine"
It's been a month you had stayed in Monstadt, The Land of Freedom, and a month since your encounter with Aether and Paimon. She still annoys you though, but you're really grateful that she can keep the conversation going because it always turns awkward whenever you tried to initiate a conversation with people. You learned that Aether didn't come from this world too, separated from his sister by the unknown god and now is looking for her in Teyvat. Hopefully, you can go back home too.
You missed your family of course but you're also happy that there are people who willing to take care of you, especially Barbara. She treated you like her own sister, beside Jean. You learned everything here from Lisa and learned how to fight from the cavalry captain Knights of the Favonious, Kaeya. And Diluc? He's hot, but cold as ice at the same time and you went to the Tavern once, only to see him talking to a bard named Venti, about how the bard needs to stop drinking all of his dandelion wine before he runs out of it because of him.
Now, Aether is in front of you as you manage to persuade him to bring you to one of his adventures. He never let you tag along because he told you it's dangerous outside. Both of you are no vision holders, but he has the power of Anemo. It's still a mystery to you but he's an outlander so it would probably make sense why he can have such powers even without a vision blessed by the Archons.
"But! You only have to fight the hilichurls only while I take down those mitachurls, got it?" he says. Nodding your head aggressively, you started your journey with him as an adventurer.
"Let's go to Liyue!" Paimon says excitedly.
---
"That was close, thank you y/n"
Aether pants heavily, letting out a sigh of relief as you kick off the last hilichurl with your sword. Turning around to face him, you tell him it's nothing.
You three bumped into a hilichurl camp in the middle of the road of Bishui Plans. Unfortunately, those group of monsters noticed you before you three could even hide.
You were about to follow Paimon but Aether called you, you look at him as his face expressed shocked. You asked him what's wrong only him to point at your hips. You were confused so you look down where he's pointing at. Well now you're equally as shocked as him, if not because of the shining crystal blue orb hanging on your belt.
"What... I-I swear it wasn't there before?"
You whispered, questioning yourself because how did it get there? How did you even got a vision? What did you do? You know it's a vision because Lisa has taught you at the library back in Mondstadt. How? That was all in your mind.
You hear Paimon gasped, putting her hands on her mouth, "you got a vision! Let me see!". She flew to look at your vision before touching it to get a better look. "You got a cryo vision!" she exclaimed.
"Cryo? You mean I get the power of ice?" You question her. She nodded her, "Yes! Now you can help Aether to fight enemies!". Looking down at your feet, sighing. Aether asked you what's wrong and you simply said you don't know how to fight. Like actually fighting enemies with your own power, how to use it and how to handle it. What if you unintentionally hurt people around you? Aether chuckled at your response. You look up at him, tilting your head in confusion.
"Don't worry, I'll teach you"
----
"I wish kaeya was here"
"You don't like it when I teach you?!"
Chuckling at your friend, you said it's not that you don't like it when he teaches you. It's because "it would be easier if a cryo vision holder teaches me how to control the element", you says.
He let out a puff, while you were stroking Paimon's hair on your lap. She snores softly and you swear you could hear her mumbling sticky honey roast in her sleep. Giggling at her, you wonder how can she be cute and annoying at the same time. It's unfair you think. You turned your head to look at Aether and he was zoned out, as always.
"Mind telling me what's in your mind?"
You picked up his habits quite quickly, since you both attached to the hips all the time. You would notice he always does this when he's deep in thought. The same goes for him. You both can read each other like an open book.
He looks at you, smiling. Shaking his head and tells you he always thinks the same, about his sister. You smiled back at him, you assured him that you will meet her soon. And now, you both enjoy the calm breeze as you both watched the sun set over the blue horizon at the nearby cliff in Liyue.
"S-sticky honey roast... "
----
Annoyed.
That's how you feel right now.
This guy just keeps pestering you for 20 minutes now. You got separated with Aether as he got something to do with Zhongli, the Wangsheng Parlor Funeral Consultant. Aether wanted to let Paimon stay with you but you said you're fine on your own and you would enjoy alone time in the time being while waiting for them.
But you didn't expect this.
"Can you stop following me now?"
"Why would I?"
Rolling your eyes, you bump into his shoulder, or Childe as he call himself.
"Oh don't be like that girlie-" " I have a name shut up" you sigh for the nth time. You need to avoid this man, because he's one of the Fatui, you don't want to involve yourself and Aether with them. That's why you've been running and avoiding him at all cost.
"Well you never tell me your name girlie-"
"It's y/n okay? Now go you're getting on my nerve..."
you mumbled the last sentence. He only chuckles at your reaction as he enjoys it. You were buying some street food from the food stall and before you could give your mora to the seller, someone beats you to pay for the food. You were not complaining though, you didn't thank him either.
"Okay then but can I ask you one last question, y/n?" he smiles widely while you only look at him, chewing your spicy fish cake, unamused. His question however, almost send you to you death as you were choking on your food.
"W-what did you say?!" "I want to get to know about you"
Aether is not going to like this...
----
As expected, he was mad. No, he was furious.
"Why did you talk to him?!"
"I tried not to talk to him Aether, he kept following me when I tried to avoid him! To the point he creeps me out..."
Aether sighs, rubbing his forehead as Paimon watched you two arguing. Was this the only time Paimon shuts her mouth? Excluding the time she's asleep. She knows when to silent herself because this time, Aether is different in Paimon's eyes.
"So.. Did you agree?" he questioned, not giving you a glance. You shake your head, "No, of course I didn't. He's dangerous and he could hurt us if he has the opportunity..." Which is true. Childe is a harbinger, and you, just a mortal from another world who just got dumped to Teyvat out of nowhere.
Aether engulfs you in a hug, which surprised you. You could feel your cheeks burning from the physical contact. His arm wraps around your shoulder while the other strokes your hair, calming you.
"I won't let that happen to you, Paimon and me. I won't let him hurt us, I will promise you that I will protect you both from any danger. I don't want to lose another friend..." he says and the last sentence sounds more like a whisper to you but you understand him.
You also promised to yourself that you will protect paimon and him. Because you love them.
----
"Well traveller, you're quite stronger than I thought"
"Stay away from him!"
You yelled at the harbinger, keeping yourself from falling as you struggled to stand up. Paimon tried her best to keep Aether awake while you were guarding them, ready to attack him anytime.
Childe let out a loud laugh, as if he was mocking you and your companion. Shaking his head, he came closer to you.
"You know what, you're lucky that you didn't fall for my tricks" he chuckles. You were getting antsy everytime he take a step closer to you, "no one is fool enough to fall for a harbinger, Tartaglia" you sneered.
He was about to attack you with his hydro sword but you managed to dodged it with your power and turning it into an ice. You both fight for a while and fortunately, Aether came to help you.
After hours of fighting, that's what you think, you feel drained out. Slumping on the floor, you take a glance at Aether he was panting hard, Paimon at his side to support him. And Childe, he looks better than both you and Aether combined but he's still in a good shape.
As you were trying to stand up, you saw a glimpse of a woman at the corner of your eye. You widen your eyes and tried to push Aether away as you saw the woman was about to attack him with her sharp ice.
Signora.
You made a wall of ice to protect Aether and Paimon from her attacks. However, you didn't do it for you. You didn't protect yourself and got hit by the ice. The ice wall from you melts, so does Aether's world when he saw you, bleeding from your own element.
Childe was as shocked too, he thought you were a genuine person, he really do. Is this what it feels when you know someone personally got hurt? He can't imagine what Aether feels now.
You fell, you felt dizzy as you hit your head on the solid ground.
"Y/n!" Aether and Paimon yelled your name, but why do they sound like they're miles away?
"Y/n! Keep your eyes open! Don't you very dare to close your eyes!" Your friend screamed. Paimon is holding your hand while sobbing on you. "Y/n you can't leave us! Paimon still want to have fun with you!"
All you can do is cry. You don't want to leave them. You still haven't find your way back home, you can't. But you were losing so much blood and all you could do is remembering your moments with your friends.
Aether and Paimon.
Aether holds you on his lap, you could feel his tears falling on your cheek. He cups your cheek as he stares into your (e/c) orbs. To him, it resembles the stars on the night sky. He wish he could look at them like this before.
Not when you're dying.
He put his forehead on yours as he keeps repeating "please don't leave" to you. You promised him that you will protect him, but not stay with him. Did you regret it? Yes. You wish you could stay but you knew at the end, both of you will leave eventually.
But you didn't expect that you would leave them like this.
With all your might, you hover your hand over his that was on your cheek, rubbing it softly. "Promise me, we will meet someday, wether it be in our next life or in different universe, promise me we will meet again" you said, voice getting hoarse and staring to his golden eyes. You want to remember his eyes, his nose, his lips, his everything.
"Paimon doesn't want you to leave!" your little friend cried, you let out a loud sob as you pull her to your chest, soaking your bloody shirt with her tears. You three tried to cherish your last moment together, even though it was a tragic one, like now.
Aether tighten his hold on you, Paimon cries harder when she saw the colour of your vision starting to fade, knowing you couldn't make it.
"Paimon loves you, y/n", all you can do is cry, before your last breathe you hear Aether says "I promise you, we will meet again.. I love you"
Your vision faded, you fall into a deep sleep and everything turns dark.
----
"She's awake!"
"Call the doctor!"
You slowly opened your eyes, the bright light hurting your eyes, still adjusting to the surrounding. You could feel your tears were falling. Why did you cry? Then it hit you.
You were in the hospital.
You remember what happened, was that all just a dream? It feels real, way too real for your liking.
"Thank god, you're finally awake!" your mom sobs. Wait, your mom is here? You're finally back? You were supposed to be happy but why did you feel sad?
"H-how long did I... Sleep?" you asked, voice raspy as your throat lacks of hydration. Your mom gave you a glass of water and you gladly drink it, your throat still hurt.
"2 months now, you got hit by a car and the guy felt bad. He even insisted to pay for your bills", your mom says as she hold your hand. It's been a few minutes but you missed them. Aether and your little friend Paimon.
"Oh.." that's all you can say. You really don't know what to respond. You were happy that you're finally awake but you also missed people you met in Teyvat. Are they real or just your imagination?
"I forgot to tell you, the person who pays for your hospital bill will visit you. He always visits you when me and your dad is busy with work", you nodded your head, didn't have the energy to reply your mom back.
Suddenly, the door opens, revealing a tall man. You face him, only to widen your eyes as you were shocked to see the person in your dream.
"Childe?"
----
It's been a month since you got discharged from the hospital and been recovering well. You still struggle to walk on your own though, but nothing serious. Ever since you met childe, you both got along very well, not like the one in your dream.
"So... What I dreamed of during my coma was real?" You asked him, walking through the flowery path as the cherry blossom falls on the ground beside him arms clinging to his.
"Yeah. In fact, I'm still the same Childe in your dream!"
"Yeah as you wish. The only same thing is you keep paying things for me.. And being annoying"
You remarked. He only laughs and told you the reason why he keeps doing that is that it's the only kind action he could do, even now. But in reality, he felt guilty. He
"By the way, I want you to meet an old friend of mine. You won't mind right?"
"What's the point of asking me if you're going to introduce your friend to me now?"
"Geez woman, you're still the same"
you could only laugh at him. To you, he's a good friend but no one could replace Aether. If you met Childe, there's a possibility of you to meet Aether and Paimon right?
"Oi blondie! We're here!" Childe yelled, getting you out from your deep thoughts. You look up only to meet a pair of golden eyes that you've missed so much.
It feels like the time has stopped. He walked towards you and slowly, engulfed you in a hug. You were stunned, you meet him. You both found each other. You hugged him back, tightly. You let out tears of joy, he was relieved he found you that he also cried.
"You didn't forget me don't you?" You hear a feminine voice behind Aether, only to find Paimon crossing her arms, just like when you meet her for the first time. But what amazes you that she's in a different form. She looks... Like you. A woman.
Your eyes got teary again and went straight to her, giving her a big hug which she reciprocated. "I miss you so much Paimon" you burried your head into her neck. Paimon was happy she could meet her.
Childe and Aether could only look both of you with adoration. Aether cleared his throat, without looking at the man beside him, eyes still on you. "Thank you, if it wasn't for you, we wouldn't find her"
The red haired man could only smile, "it's no problem. I couldn't face anyone after what happened in Teyvat. Think of this as my way to apologize". Aether couldn't answer, he only nodded his head to let him know he's listening.
You went to him only get a hug from you. You missed him so much. And you noticed Aether doesn't have his long braided hair anymore, which saddens you because you always play and braid his hair.
"I noticed that you finally got rid of your annoyingly long hair", you teased him. You hear him chuckled as he tightened his grip around you. "Can't let the annoyingly long hair distract people sweetie. People found it weird here"
"But I like it though..." you blushed at the pet name he gave you. You both just couldn't let go of each other now. He strokes your hair, enjoying each others presence. "I'm so glad that I found you", "me too, I'm glad you're here".
The other two friend only watched you two reunited again, hugging each other and won't let each other go because you missed each other so much that you both are afraid one of you vanished anytime. But it's real.
"Childe can we get some sticky honey roast?"
"Good grief, paimon.."

KELLY SEVERIDE
Poor Defense
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Requested: yes
Prompts: none
Warnings: none
Authors note: Happy ending obviously! xx
"Babe are you sure that you're alright?" You ask him for the fifth time. You're standing outside his car, watching him join you outside like a hwak.
Your boyfriend Kelly just doesn't seem to be okay. You watch him grab your duffle bag along with his. Usually that's not a problem for him but you see him strain his shoulder. His face says it all.
"No, I got it. You don't have to." You reach for your duffle bag.
"What do you mean? It's not a problem babe seriously. Let me." You sigh in defeat and grab his free hand. You part ways in the locker room and you join Shay in the ambo.
"Did you notice anything weird about Kelly?" You ask her. You're sitting at the floor of the ambulance and spying on him with the jump bag next to you. Making it easy for you to switch your eyes to it and act like you're not spying on him but rather doing your job.
He's at the squad table, bickering with Capp like nothing in the world is wrong or at least slightly twisted.
"What do you mean?" She tries to play it smooth. Of course she knows. The guilt has been eating her alive.
"Hm. That's weird." You suddenly say. The subject that is your boyfriend drops and you focus on the jump bag next to you.
"What's weird?"
"We're missing some painkillers. But I'm sure I ordered them." You sigh. Explaining that to main tower is going to be a pain in the ass. "Never mind. We'll figure it out."
"Okay I can't do it anymore." She sighs in defeat before throwing the last of the towels inside and sitting down next to you.
"Can't do what Shay?" You ask your partner. Shay is stressed and scared. But for what?
"He's not okay Y/N."
"Who's not okay?"
"Kelly!" She exclaims. "He went to check his injury and the doctor told him that they will need to operate and he won't be able to work for a year. Ever since then I've been helping him."
"You took the meds?!" You're shocked beyond words at this point. Not only was your boyfriend hiding a serious injury from you, he was also using his best friend and putting her in danger of losing her job. Hell even you were at risk now! "Les this can cost us our jobs!"
"I know! It's just... He's so stubborn and I was afraid that he was going to take the matter into his own hands."
Damn his stubbornness! "I will take his stubbornness and shove it so far up his-"
"Hey girlies." Brian Zvonecek interrupts you innocently. "Do you have any towels to spear?"
***
"When were you going to tell me?" You just barged into your boyfriend's private room and now you demand answers.
"Tell you what babe?"
"That your shoulder is getting worse and that you made Shay steal meds from the ambo just so you can work and risk your life." You tell him that in one single breath, with ears red as a tomato. You're angry and disappointed in him.
His face said it all. Busted.
"Look baby..." He stood up with caution. "This was just a one time thing. I'm fine now. I really am."
"No Kelly I don't think you are."
***
You have free time and you decide to use it to make up with Kelly. After what happened at the firehouse you didn't exactly find it in you to talk to him without bringing up the injury and starting a fight.
You wrecked your brain for possible explanations and after putting yourself in Kelly's shoes you decided to forgive him. He explained himself enough for you to build up the trust once more.
"Babe?" You walk around your shared apartment in hopes of finding him somewhere convenient enough to talk things out.
"In the shower!"
His reply is loud and clear. His off limits to talk now.
When you walk into the spacious bedroom it's almost like the air is completely different. Something seems off. You notice his jacket that lies on the bed, probably because he's headed somewhere.
While the shower runs in the background you take his jacket into his eyes and instinctively search through its pockets. You were never the type to rummage through his belongings but you felt like it needed to be done.
What you found shocked you. Pills.
Much stronger and illegal medication. 5 times the strength from the ones Shay took from the ambulance. You had one question in mind: Where did he get this?
Feeling your blood boil at the newfound sight you reach for his phone without a second thought. Someone must've gotten this for him and you were going to find out who.
Calls were a dead end and you quickly turned to look through his messages. The newest contact being someone named Anna.
It's obvious the moment you scroll through their conversation. A conversation way to long for your liking that started just a day after you confronted him about it.
You feel betrayed. He promised he would do the surgery.
You throw his phone back on his nightstand and fish through your pockets for your own. The moment you have it you swipe through your contacts and press call. "Yes?"
"Les who is Anna?" You ask her. The human encyclopedia for Kelly's past flings and girlfriends.
"Why do you ask?"
"Because..." You make sure to quickly hide in the kitchen so he doesn't hear you. "I just found out that he's still using pills. Illegal and stronger meds. And I know it's not you because you and I both don't have access to this kind of stuff."
"Uh..."
"I went through his phone and before you tell me how I shouldn't have done that... I had every right to protect him from risking his life because he's so freaking stubborn!" You huff into the phone. You clutch the meds in your hand until they're almost grinded into powder. "The name's Anna."
"Oh Jesus..." You hear her sigh. "An old flame and pharmaceutical rep. They never slept together but he did kiss her."
You start to see red. "I figured as much."
After taking a deep breath you bid Shay your goodbyes and start to pack your bags.
"Y/N-"
"Save it." You place the last of your shirts into the duffle bag. Ready to fly out of the apartment.
"Why?"
"Why?! Are you serious right now?" You ask him angrily. "You know what Kelly? I should've reported you for taking unprescribed medicine the moment I found out! No actually I should've reported you for making Shay steal them for you.
I can't believe I thought you were going to do the surgery. I stayed quiet knowing that your little stunt could cost me my job-"
"But you didn't do anything."
"Exactly! I didn't do anything to stop it. In the eyes of the whole CFD I am a careless paramedic in charge that doesn't take inventory seriously and instead allows firefighters to take whichever meds they prefer to themselves. Add my romantic relationship with the firefighter in question to the mix and my career is gone! Poof."
After a few deep breaths you zip your duffle bag. "I am not mad that you went to your ex fling for help. I am mad that you lied to me. You made me think everything was alright and when I found out you promised me that you would do the surgery. Not for me but for yourself and us. Yet again. You lied."
Knowing that staying in the same room with him for a second longer would make you stay, you decide to stalk out of the room and the whole apartment, leaving your own keys in the kitchen so you don't get tempted to come back.
***
"Shay let me in c'mon." Kelly banged on the door of Shay's apartment knowing that you were inside. "I need to talk to her."
The man you call the love of your life wasn't going to give up and both of you knew it. Frantically, with both hands in the air and if possible both legs too, Shay mouthed "What do I do?"
You nod towards the door, "Open the door."
She mouths back. "Are you sure?"
"Hey! Stop mouthing to each other and open the damn door!"
"Damn you Kelly!" Leslie shouts at him before opening the door and dissappearing into her room with a loud slam of the door.
It's been two weeks since you "moved out". You didn't give him the time of your day at work but the time you spent apart was eating you alive. Killing you actually.
His handsome self barges into the living room and spots you on the couch. Curled in a ball with tea in your hands and a blanket over you. The silent battle of eyes stops when he takes three long strides towards you and pulls you in for a kiss. A kiss that feels like homecoming.
You pull away flushed to the bone and encourage him to take a seat next to you. You place the blanket over his lap like you always do. Some things die hard.
"I'll do it."
"Do what?"
"The surgery Y/N. I'll do it."
Your mouth falls open in an 'O'. "So you're not here to ask me to move back in?Cause I'm still paying rent for that place."
He chuckles in a way that makes you weak in the knees. "You didn't let me get to that part."
"What made you get a change of heart?" You place your steaming hot tea on the glass coffee table and make yourself comfortable on the couch, your eyes never leaving his.
"You." He said simply. It made you blush against your will. "And the pain. It's horrible."
A bubble of laughter escapes your lips. "I love it when I make you laugh."
His statement caught you off guard making you blush even more. "I'm supposed to have a better defense."
"No you don't." With that he placed his index finger under your chin and lulled you into him. He spoke a soft apology in the kiss and you accepted it by kissing him back.
"Let's go home." Kelly whispered. Sorry shining in his eyes.
"Okay."
This time it was you leaned in for a kiss.

FFXIV WRITE 2021 - #4 BALEFUL
Jaxon ground his jaw on a frustrated growl, casting a baleful glare at the small blue dragon perched at the top of the bookshelf. Between sharp white teeth, the dragonet was clenching a very dead, brightly colored domakin fish. Wings mantling wide, the little dragon hissed through his ill-gotten prize, back ached like an angry coeurl. Dark eyes narrowed dangerously as the dragon's tail snapped back and forth.
"Wes!" Jaxon growled, still glaring. "You give that back. Now!"
'Mine! My fish!' the dragon declared, giving his best roar. Which was honestly not very impressive considering he was about the size of a gaelicat at the moment. 'My tasty fish!'
"That is not your fish!" the half-Elezen snapped. "That's my fish!"
'Found it! Means mine!'
"You did not--" Jaxon groaned and pinched his nose, feeling the beginnings of a headache. "You stuck your damned head in my fish tank!"
'Caught it! My fish! For me!' The dragon flared his wings again, giving as big a growl as he could manage.
"Not for you! That was my fish! They were all my fish!" Jaxon grabbed a chair, pulling it over and putting a boot on it to step up. "Now give him back! You already swallowed all the others!"
'You didn't eat! Means I could!' Wes hissed, scampering away across the bookshelf with his goldfish prize still firmly in his teeth.
"They were my pets, you little blue-scaled brat!" He leaned to reach, giving a little startled yelp as the lashing tail smacked his fingers. "Ow! That hurt! Give me my fish!"
'If yours, why not eat?!' The dragon leaned back, wedged in a corner but determined to keep his catch.
"Because they were pets," Jaxon groaned. "They weren't for eating! They were for looking at!"
'Food is for eating!' The dragon ducked his foster father's hand, writhing away and launching himself off the bookshelf. He was still too young and small to fly very well or far, but he managed a smooth glide to the floor. He scrambled away, ducking under the desk. 'You not eat so I eat!'
"You don't eat your pets, Wes," Jaxon sighed in exasperation, stepping down from the chair but just dropping to sit in it. "They're like...friends. They just made me happy to look at and take care of." He couldn't help a bit of a forlorn look at the utterly destroyed tank. The glass was intact, but the rocks and plants were torn to bits. The water was a disgusting mess; half-mud and half-bits of the other four fish that had once lived in there. "Now look at it..."
Wes peeked out from the desk, glancing at Jaxon and the tank. Dragons weren't the most expressive when it came to facial features, but the little dragonet's wings drooped a bit. 'You sad...?' His tone was confused as he inched out, jaw loosening a bit although the poor domakin fish was well past saving.
Jaxon sighed, ruffling his hair with one hand. "Well, yes... A little mad, but sad too. I had those fish longer than I had you, you know..." He gave a little wan smile. "I'm going to miss seeing them every day. But I suppose it's my fault. I never really explained the fish tank to you so... I mean, it's not like dragons keep fish ponds for anything other than food."
Wes eased out from under the desk, posture contrite. He headed for Jaxon, dropping the very dead fish at the Ishgardian's boot. 'Sorry for taking fish. Should have asked.'
Jaxon grunted and leaned down, gently picking up the dragon and setting him in his lap. "Yeah, you should have. You know I always get you food when you're hungry, right?"
Wes nodded, drooping into a sad dragon puddle in the half-Elezen's lap. 'Catching fish was fun,' he admitted a little hesitantly. 'I wanted to hunt.'
"That's natural," Jaxon reassured him, petting the dragonet gently. "but you should ask before hunting something. So I can tell you if it's someone's pet or something."
'Okay,' Wes said, turning up sad dark eyes to Jaxon. 'Not mad anymore?'
"No, I guess not," Jaxon grunted, scratching Wes's chin and leaning down to drop a kiss on top of the young creature's head. "Still a little sad for my poor fish, but not mad." A brief smile crossed his features. "And if you want to learn hunting, how about we work on that? You know, away from fish tanks and the city. There are plenty of woods and streams in the highlands, even the Black Shroud."
'I'll catch you new fish,' the dragon promised. 'For pets.'
Jaxon smothered a chuckle. "You can't catch domakin fish around here, but maybe we can find something. Come on," he sighed, nudging the dragon to his usual perch on Jaxon's shoulder. "Let's clean up this mess."
'Thanks, Papa,' Wes said, rubbing his cheek against Jaxon's. 'Still sorry.'
"You're forgiven," Jaxon said, scratching around the short horns. "And of course. You're my son. I'm supposed to teach you all that stuff anyway." He gave the tank another look and laughed. "I guess I just didn't expect to have to quite this soon." He shook his head. "Well, lesson learned. Tomorrow, we'll go hunting."
'Really?!' Wes couldn't contain a chirp of excitement.
"Really," Jaxon said. "First thing in the morning."

Naughty | Roman Sionis x Male!Reader | Smut
"And last but not least 10, Roman/black mask x male reader (nsf/w again cuz we be horny). I don't have a super specific scenario for this, but it could either be reader genuinely doesn't know who they're talking to and Roman decided to teach them a lesson
Or reader knows *exactly* who they are talking to but is fishing for punishment/a lesson/just being a brat. You're welcome to decide what the lesson is (ideas include idk man spanking, orgasm delay/denial, public (am I thinking of an opposite to the other horny fic we came up with? where reader is not a good boy? maybe,,,,), whatever you want really lol)" @iscariot-rising
summary; You’re in a mood and seek punishment from Roman to get out of your head for a bit.
notes; KINKS: Daddy!Kink; Spanking; Sexual Punishment; Consensual, but neither safe nor sane tbh; Coming basically untouched; Slight exhibitionism. Male!Reader; PWP; Lemon; Smut; Using sexual punishment to stop feeling bad/thinking.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Having woken up after an awful night and feeling your mood decline with every thought that tumbled through your brain, you were feeling that need for Roman to put you in your place and make you lose every train of thought possible. Usually a good punishment would get you out of your head and that weird mood, because no doubt it would only get progressively worse the more you dwelled on it. Roman wouldn't punish you if you asked for it, though. He wanted you to have earned it. Fine by you. You would make sure you've earned it, alright.
Roman was downstairs at the club, which wasn't even due to open for several more hours. So you went and joined him there, seeing to whatever he was doing.
When you reached downstairs, you saw a couple of his men mopping the floor. It smelled awfully like bleach. It assaulted your nose for a moment, as you scrunched your face up in reaction to it.
Side-stepping the working men, you went further into the club's area and saw Roman sitting in a booth with Zsasz, cackling about something. There was some blood on Victor's face. That would explain what they've been doing then, and possibly even what they were laughing about.
When Roman finally noticed you coming closer, he sobered up a little at first, then a wide grin spread on his face. It still had some sadistic, sinister touch to it, but for the most part it was charming, happy even.
"Look at you, baby! What are you doing down here, hm?" He exclaimed, still grinning, as Zsasz looked at you curiously.
You sat down next to Roman and playfully smiled up at him. "Oh, you know, I got a little bored all by myself and wanted to see what you were doing."
"Did you now? And haven't I told you not to come downstairs when I'm busy here outside of business hours, baby?" His tone already took on a dangerous edge; so going down here despite knowing you weren't allowed to did pay off. Good.
"Ah, well, I might have forgotten, sorry," you said, not sounding sorry at all.
Roman hummed, his grin slowly vanishing from his face.
"You know I don't like it when my orders aren't being followed," he rasped.
Shivering, you bit your lower lip and grinned cheekily.
"Didn't know that applied to me as well, Daddy."
"Hmmm, you're just being a little shit now, sweet boy, aren’t you? What is it?"
"I'm not! It's nothing, Daddy, I promise! What should it be?" You said, playing up the part of being completely oblivious.
"Do you just act stupid or are you really it?" He rasped.
By then, you knew he had caught on, probably even knowing that you did it on purpose; but his quick temper often got the better of him when you played your cards right. Like right now.
"Now, now, Daddy! That's rude, isn't it? But that's to be expected from you."
You knew that what you just said would make his blood boil, it might have hurt him a little, too, but you were willing to pay that price right now.
Clenching his fists, he fixed you with a fierce glare. "Do you have any idea who you're talking to?"
"Of course I do, Daddy! But y'know, sometimes you really can be a little rude."
"Is that so? Do you hear that Zsasz?"
Zsasz nodded, "I think you should teach him a lesson, Boss."
You were sure that Victor wasn't talking about sexual punishment like you were aiming for, but rather peeling your mug off because he wanted Roman to himself.
"Yes, I believe you're right, I should. Would you be so kind and leave us alone then, Victor?" Roman said, looking at you intently.
Disappointment was clear in Victor's expression, but he got up without another word and left the two of you alone in the club, as the other staff had left by that point, too.
Roman nudged you, "C'mon, over my lap. Now."
Fucking finally!
Swallowing thickly, you shifted and leaned over his legs and laid face-down on his thighs, your chest and stomach pressing against them, while your ass was up for him to do whatever he liked with. He rubbed his gloved hand over your still clothed ass cheeks, seemingly admiring them.
"Count," was his only, huskily rasped, warning before he lifted his hand and let it come down on your right ass cheek, hard.
You yelped and moaned out a "One".
Then again. "Two."
Again. It felt harder. "Three."
This continued on until you reached spank number ten.
Because then, he reached under you and unbuttoned your pants, sliding them down your hips, over your straining erection, and over your butt, situating them right where thighs met cheeks. Your bottom already felt so fucking raw. Roman's spankings were always forceful. As much as he looked like he never lifted a finger on his own, he actually worked out, and it showed in his strength.
You've been hard and aching for the past three spanks already and you didn't know how many he's planned for you to receive. You might come practically untouched, depending on it, because your cock kept rubbing against the cushion beneath you and his thigh. It was driving you crazy before, when you were still clothed, and now, with your dick bared, it would only be so much worse.
All those thoughts were ripped from your mind, as his leather-clad hand came back down on your bare rump again, alternating between the left and right cheek and where he hit. It was relentless.
By the twenty-fith spank, your counting was barely intelligible anymore, as it was caught between shouts, moans and dry sobs.
Somewhere in the back of your mind, you figured that his hand must have gone numb by that point, but he kept spanking you. You could feel his hard cock against your stomach, though. So as unaffected as he seemed by all of this, he wasn't it entirely.
At the fiftieth hit, you couldn't control yourself anymore and came all over his thigh and the booth's cushions, sobbing and moaning pitifully, as tears streamed down your red face.
He stopped for a moment, rubbing over your cheeks soothingly, although it only made them burn more.
"Tell Daddy how sorry you are for disrespecting him and for coming unprompted all over him. C'mon," he rasped, his voice even deeper than before.
It took you a moment to even register what he's said. You blinked rapidly, trying to come back to the now. You felt so floaty.
"Sorry, Daddy." It was a quiet, unintelligible mumble.
"I didn't quite hear you there, sweet cheeks. Try again." To underline what he just said, he spanked you twice on each cheek again.
Obediently, you slurred the numbers. He paused again.
"Daddy, I- I'm sorry. 'm so sorry," you mumbled a little louder, your voice shaking.
"'Kay then," he whispered.
Roman then lifted his hand off your ass and helped you to sit up. You were so out of it that you just barely registered the pain it caused to sit.
"Ew, you've made a fucking mess of my suit pants. Ugh," you could faintly hear him complain.
A moment later he had gotten up apparently, as you felt his arms around you. One around your back, under you arms and gripping onto your side, and the other one under your thighs. Then he lifted you up, bridal style.
"Let's get you upstairs and taken care of, my little prince."
Completely out of it, you smiled and pressed your wet, red face into his chest. Your plan had worked out to the best possible result.

for prompt: dick + jason (+ maybe cass?) doing Peak Older Sibling thing of getting tipsy together and complaining about Kids These Days even though they're like in their twenties
Read on AO3
Dick knows it’s time to leave the art show when he’s nearly finished his third glass of champagne. He feels all the warm and bubbly effects from it, and he’s sure that Cass—wherever she is—is probably feeling the same way.
His only problem now is that he’s got to figure out where Cass went. He thinks the last time he saw her is when she disappeared upstairs to the second floor. There’s a projector up there playing a video about god knows what, and Dick has a feeling Cass went up there to watch it to take a people break.
He downs the last of his drink and hands the empty glass off to one of the passing by staff workers before he sets off on his search. He wanders past the wall of paintings he already looked at earlier in the night and heads for the stairs.
A few socialites he’s familiar with from past Wayne galas come up to him and try to stop him for a chat. Dick quickly shakes their hands and schmoozes with them a little for appearance’s sake. He tries to keep things short and polite because he really doesn’t want to get caught up in a thirty-minute conversation.
Thankfully, most people seem to be just as tired and hungry as he is, and they easily let him go when he offhandedly mentions needing to find his sister.
Dick’s halfway up the stairs when he sees Cass appear at the top with slightly flushed cheeks. Her glittery black dress catches in the light and makes her look like a pretty jewel. She smiles at him when their eyes meet, and Dick has to hold back a laugh at the way she throws a hand up and waves at him. He can tell he was right about her being just as tipsy as him.
“Hey!” Dick says excitedly as he finishes walking up to her. He holds up his hand and she high fives him hard enough to make his hand sting. “Ready to go?” he asks, and this time he holds his arm out for her to grab on to so she won’t trip down the stairs in her heels. Not that he can imagine Cass doing something so clumsy, but, well, better to be safe than sorry.
“I’ve been ready,” Cass says a little too loudly, making Dick wince. She links her arm with his, and they slowly make it back to the ground floor without incident.
Dick’s hand brushes Cass’s wrist when they let go of each other, and he frowns at how cold she is. He knows that even though it’s pretty chilly outside, Cass had decided to just wear her sweater inside the art show. She had left her heavier jacket in his car, not wanting to carry it around the show for hours. He wishes she would’ve said something about it so she could’ve grabbed her jacket from his car instead of silently freezing throughout the night.
He shrugs out of his blazer and drapes it around her shoulders. “One warm jacket for the tiny dancer. Need anything else, Miss?”
Cass smiles and slides her arms through the sleeves. She hugs herself close like she’s trying to absorb as much of his leftover body heat as possible.
“I could go for some burgers and fries,” she says as she grabs him by the wrist and tugs him towards the exit.
“Sounds like we’re singing the same tune,” Dick grins and pushes open the door for her to walk through first. “Let’s stop by my car and get your jacket first. We can find somewhere around here to walk to.”
Cass’s brow furrows. “Singing the... what?” She takes the lead and walks alongside the part of the sidewalk that’s not lit up by the street lights. Dick ignores the goosebumps that appear on his arms from the sudden breeze. He follows close behind her and subtly scans the parking lot where his car is parked for any potential danger.
“It means we have the same idea. Like we’re on the same page.”
“Oh!” she says, and Dick quickly realizes that tipsy Cass has a volume control problem, which is a little ironic when he thinks about it. “Yes, we’re totally singing the same tune!” Dick laughs and holds his hand out for another high five. Cass eyes it for a second before smacking his hand even harder.
“You thinking Bat Burger or somewhere else?”
Cass hums. “You ever been to the Bluehouse Bar?”
“No,” Dick says. “Have you?”
“Yeah, once. It was pretty good!”
Dick nods and tries not to look too judgy about her choice. The bar he used to bartend at in Bludhaven ruined his perception of bar food, but maybe this place in Gotham won’t be so bad. Plus, Cass is rarely wrong, and Dick’s willing to trust her opinion on it.
“Is that where you want to go then?” Dick asks right as they make it to his car.
“Yup, I feel like it’s the place to be tonight,” Cass says, and Dick unlocks the door for her.
Dick laughs and lightly whacks her shoulder with the back of his hand. “Are you quoting Harry Potter at me? Is that what’s happening right now?”
“Maybe,” Cass says, voice muffled while she dips inside the car and fishes for her jacket in the back seat.
Dick patiently waits as she switches out his suit jacket for her own jacket, and once she’s properly zipped herself up, she tosses his jacket back to him. Dick easily slides into it, feeling much better now that he’s not as cold.
This time Cass is the one that offers her arm to him and smirks as she says, “One warm jacket for the rocket man. Need anything else, Sir?”
“Yeah,” Dick says and hooks his arm under hers. “Directions on how to get there.”
Cass tugs him forward and says, “Follow me.”
The walk to the bar only ends up being about two blocks away, which isn’t too bad. Dick’s nose is feeling a little frozen. He can tell by Cass’s pink cheeks that she’s feeling chilled as well, but they’ve both dealt with way worse conditions while on patrol to actually complain about it.
Dick can tell why this place is called the Bluehouse Bar as soon as they step inside. The whole place is lit up by blue lights that reflect off the black chairs and tabletops. Even the white napkins and plates on the tables look like they’re glowing with a blue tint.
The lights combined with the loud music and chatter makes everything a little disorienting. Dick’s still trying to get his eyes to adjust to the room when Cass suddenly grips his shoulder and leans close to his ear and says, “Look, it’s Jason!”
Dick whips his head around to where Cass is staring, and sure enough, Jason’s sitting at a table of four by himself, browsing through the menu in his hands. There’s an empty glass of beer in front of him that suggests he’s been here for a while. The Gotham Knights are playing ball on one of the TVs, and Dick has a suspicion that Jason probably came here to watch the game before patrol.
Jason’s wearing his cargo pants and boots. His signature leather jacket is zipped up all the way up to cover the bat emblem on his chest. Dick imagines Jason’s motorcycle is probably parked nearby and has the rest of his Red Hood gear in it.
Cass seems a little tense next to him, and Dick knows it’s because she really doesn’t like Jason that much. They’ve never gotten along for obvious reasons, and Cass only tolerates him when she has to. Dick can hardly remember them even having a conversation beyond “Can you pass the salt?” when they’re all eating breakfast together at the manor once a week.
He’s just about to ask Cass if she wants to go when Jason suddenly looks up and stares right at them. A look of surprise flashes across Jason’s face, and he blinks a few times as if making sure that Dick and Cass are the real deal.
Dick waves without really thinking about it, and Jason responds by motioning for them to come sit at his table.
Cass’s eyes widen slightly like she wants to do anything but that, and Dick flashes her an apologetic look before gently placing his hand on her back and steering her towards Jason’s table. It’s not like they can just ignore Jason and expect him not to take offense to it. Dick’s not willing to make weekly breakfast more awkward than it already is.
“Hey Jay,” Dick says once he’s close enough to the table. He holds his hand up expectantly. Jason eyes it like it’s a rat on fire before he slowly high fives Dick back.
“Hey,” Jason says, and his eyes jump from Cass’s dress to Dick’s suit. “Where the hell did you two just come from?”
Dick lets Cass have the seat between himself and Jason so that she can watch the door more easily, and he takes the seat across from Jason that puts his own back against the door.
“Went to an art show for B and bought some new paintings for the children’s hospital,” Dick says, snagging the menu from Jason and putting it on the table between him and Cass so they can figure out what they want to eat.
“I guess my invite got lost in the mail as per usual,” Jason says.
“You wouldn’t have gone anyway,” Cass says, and Jason recoils at her loud tone.
“Still, I’d like to be asked,” Jason huffs, eyeing Cass warily.
“Will you guys eat the mozzarella sticks if I get them as an appetizer?” Dick asks. The picture of the gooey cheese sticks on the menu makes Dick’s mouth water, and while he’s definitely going to get a burger, he thinks he can make enough room in his stomach for a few mozzarella sticks.
Cass signs “yes” with her fist at the same time that Jason says, “Fuck yeah I will as long as you’re paying.”
“If I’m paying then I get first dibs,” Dick declares.
“Fine.” Jason rolls his eyes and slumps in his seat. “You two better be ready to order as soon as the waitress gets back. She doesn’t come around much.”
“You’re telling me,” Dick says while enviously eyeing the waiter who’s taking people’s orders at the table across from theirs.
All of a sudden, Dick feels a finger tapping against his shoulder. He tenses and turns in his seat. A young looking woman with blonde hair is standing behind him. The silver bangles around her wrist jingle as she nervously pushes her long hair out of her face. Dick can see that she’s looking back and forth between him and Cass.
“Hi! Sorry for interrupting!” she says. “But are you Dick Wayne and Cassandra Wayne?”
Jason snorts so loud that Dick’s surprised he doesn’t give himself an aneurysm.
“Dick Wayne,” Jason wheezes quietly, and the girl blushes furiously as if realizing her mistake.
“Don’t mind him,” Dick says. He places his hand on the girl’s shoulder and gives it a little squeeze to soothe her embarrassment. “Trust me, I’ve been called worse,” he smiles. She blushes again for a whole different reason this time. Dick ignores it and eyes her phone in her hand. “Did you want a picture?”
“Oh my god, yeah, if you wouldn’t mind that would be great!”
“Sure thing,” Dick says, taking her phone from her. “What’s your name?”
“Brooke,” the girl says.
“Hi, Brooke! I love your dress,” Cass says in that cool way of hers, and Brooke stutters out her thanks.
“Don’t forget to turn on the flash,” Dick says as he tosses the phone to Jason, who catches it with a squawk.
Dick drapes his arm around Brooke’s shoulders while Cass wraps her arm around Brooke’s waist. They all smile, and Jason begrudgingly takes a few pictures of them. Dick’s pretty sure he hears Jason making a comment under his breath about being happy he’s considered dead to the world so he doesn’t have to go through this shit, and then the pictures are done.
Jason hands the phone back over and Brooke thanks him. Dick expects her to go back to her table, but instead, she asks, “Hey, would you guys want to be in my TikTok?”
“What’s TikTok?” Cass signs to Jason.
Jason starts to explain it to her in ASL, clearly leaving Dick to deal with Brooke.
“Sorry, we’re not allowed to,” Dick lies. “I hope you understand.”
“Oh totally, yeah,” Brooke says with a nod of her head. She looks a little confused about why they’re apparently not allowed to do TikToks, but she doesn’t question it. “No worries! Just thought I’d ask!” She smiles and Dick smiles back at her. “Thanks for the pictures! I love you guys!”
“No problem,” Dick says, holding his hand up to her. Brooke high fives him back, her touch gentle like she’s scared of hurting him. “Bye!”
Brooke waves to them all and then finally leaves their table. As soon as she’s out of earshot, Jason crosses his arms over his chest and says, “What’s up with kids and TikTok these days? Do you know how many people have cosplayed as me and made me do dumb shit like the renegade dance? Or worse... the whip! The whip, Dick! The whip!”
“Poor you,” Dick laughs. “Forced to do trendy dances that sully your reputation.”
“Shut up,” Jason huffs. “Pretty sure I saw one of Nightwing doing the WAP challenge.”
Dick raises a brow and says, “I have no idea what that means.”
He sees Cass perk up out of the corner of his eye and realizes why as soon as he sees a waitress coming towards them.
“Finally,” Cass mutters.
Dick grabs her hand excitedly and shakes it back and forth.
“Mozzarella sticks here we come!”

The Sky’s Tsunami - Chapter 13
Tumblr media
3rd Person POV
A few hours later, the Bus lands at the Slingshot. By this point, Natasha was back to her normal self, teasing (Y/n).
The two sisters walk down the spiral staircase, Natasha walking over, sitting at the end of hangar doors her back leaning against one of the walls.
"Hey Coulson, how's LOLA?" (Y/n) asks.
"Not a scratch," Coulson answers.
"How she should be," (Y/n) says with a smile.
Skye descends the spiral staircase and walks up behind (Y/n) and Coulson.
"Not a scratch," Skye says, making (Y/n) jump a little. Skye smiles apologetically before continuing. "But you're plane's totaled. I hope SHIELD insurance covers hijackings."
"Of course, under accidentals," (Y/n) says with a grin.
Skye chuckles lightly, crossing her arms. "What exactly am I signing up for?"
(Y/n) laughs, her (E/c) eyes sparkling and Natasha looks back, smiling at her sister.
"So far, the craziest show on Earth," (Y/n) says.
"Yeah, well, I didn't think it'd get this crazy, this fast," Skye reasons, "all for an object you're just gonna destroy."
"Slingshot is protocol," Coulson tells Skye.
"A weapon like the 0-8-4 is too dangerous for any person or country to have," (Y/n) continues. "People like Reyes would always be after it."
"What happened with Reyes, anyway?" Skye asks and (Y/n) raises a ginger eyebrow.
"She's being held at a SHIELD detainment facility," Coulson tells Skye. "I expect the Peruvian government will negotiate for her release. She probably won't spend much time in jail."
"No, I mean what happened with you and Reyes?" Skye asks. "You totally did it back in the day, right?"
(Y/n) chokes back a laugh as Coulson replies, "That's classified."
Skye laughs as Coulson walks away.
"We blew up a plane," Fitz says as he walks down the stairs with a cooler of beer. He holds out the cooler and (Y/n) takes a beer out and goes to sit beside Natasha. (Y/n) hands the beer to her sister and Natasha takes it with a smile.
"Hey, come on," Fitz says, sitting down in the middle of the doors, Simmons taking up a place beside him. "So, it'll take about a hundred and eighty days to reach the Sun. Of course, if they'd used hydrogen-fueled APUs, but they're having fun."
"How man of those have you guys had?" Skye asks as Ward and May sit down on either side of FitzSimmons, taking a beer from the cooler.
Simmons laughs, "Skye, it's important when in the field to unwind from time to time."
"Yeah, yeah, especially after a hard day of everyone almost dying," Fitz pipes up.
"Which doesn't happen every day, right?" Simmons asks and the Romanoff sisters exchange looks. "It''s an anomaly - an irregularity."
(Y/n) and May meet gazes and May smirks at the former assassin.
"Not . . . the norm," Simmons says.
"Speaking of 'not the norm,' whose idea was it to blow a hole in the plane?" Coulson says and (Y/n) glances around before speaking.
"I said that the door -" (Y/n) begins, but Skye interupts her.
"May and (Y/n) said that the doors were tied to the pressurization, so I thought -"
"So we," Simmons emphasizes the word we, "thought it was the only way to release them."
"It was everyone's idea, sir," Ward says and May nods.
"Yes," Fitz adds. "Quite genius, really."
"Nice work," Coulson says and (Y/n)'s eyes sparkle with amusement.
"Fury's not gonna like this," (Y/n) says and Natasha nods. "I can't believe it took us six days to blow a hole in the side of this plane."
"Oh, time for blastoff," Fitz says and everyone looks at the rocket. Fitz pinches his nose, "Launching . . . In three . . . Two . . . One."
The rocket blasts off and (Y/n) leans into her sister and Natasha nudges her affectionately in return.
"The trajectory will take it beyond the Lagrange point so that it doesn't hit Herschel."
"And there haven't been any coronal mass injections, so it shouldn't lose telemetry."
"Guys," Ward tells FitzSimmons. "English."
"Really, Rushman? Really, Coulson?" Fury asks Coulson, (Y/n) standing to the left of the agent. "Six days? It only took you six days to take a completely renovated piece of state-of-the-art machinery and turn it into scrap?!"
"Our team acted with our authority," Coulson says and (Y/n) nods in agreement.
"Don't talk to me about authority," Fury says softly, his voice seething with anger. "Do you know how much this plane cost? It's got a bar." Fury walks over to the said bar, placing his hands on it. "A really nice one. You talking to me about authority. You know, I have the authority to downgrade your asses to a Winnebago."
"We're aware of that, sir," (Y/n) says, meeting Fury's gaze steadily with her own.
"Well, I want it fixed just like you found it," Fury says. "So don't have FitzSimmons going making modifications, like, like a damn fish tank." He turns to (Y/n) now. "Send your sister to me. I know she's here."
(Y/n) nods and jogs downstairs where she finds Natasha and Skye talking.
"Tasha?" (Y/n) says as she steps off the final step.
Natasha looks over and hums in response.
"Big Boss Man wants to see you," (Y/n) says and Natasha nods. She says good-bye to Skye and retreats upstairs. "Oh, FitzSimmons!" (Y/n) says and both scientists stick their heads out the lab doors. "We're gonna have to kill the fish tank."
Fitz pouts and Simmons nods dejectedly.

Since you've been forced to move from Glasgow to Charming, your life has been a roller coaster with noisy falls into hell. Some days you were fine, the rest you were only available to create chaos around you. Your mother died because of a terminal disease, after fighting for two years, and the last time you saw your father before that it was when you were a child. Came to live with him after twelve years without no contact, except for a few calls every month, it was hard. Harder than he could imagine.
The first days you were locked in the room he enabled to you in his house, where you only had a bed, a nightstand and a wardrobe. No picture, no colors around, nothing. It was kinda depressing. At least, he tried. He tried to re-build the good relationship you two have had in the past, before your mother kicked his ass out of Scotland, when Clay said he needed him at California, with the Sons'.
Filip used to cook your favourite dishes, having had to learn to cook before. At first you only ate two or three bites, until one morning when you woke up hearing him screaming in scottish. You've never heard him so angry, and that scared you. Barefoot and silently, you went out of your room, sticking your head by the door frame of the kitchen. Unbelievable. He was arguing with his phone. Specifically with YouTube. You could see how he was watching a recipe of baked fish. It sounded easy, right? The problem was the sauce. Apparently he forgot to add some ingredients, and he had to repeat it from the start.
“Shit!” He shouted hitting the marble countertop, supporting his fist on it with his head down and a sigh in his mouth. “Fuckin' pepper and fuckin' lemon”.
“I don't like”. You said in a whisper, getting out of your hiding place.
He turned at you frowned and upset, leaning against the furniture. Cross-armed, he shook his head with his gaze on the floor. You knew how frustrated he was, trying to kick you out of that sadness that it was consuming you. You lost your mother, you had to move out of your country, from the cold to the heat. And you truly hated sunny days.
“I just... wanna make you feel like you're at home”. He said kinda desperately, scratching his head hard, completely disheveled. “I know this is not Scotland, nor your house. It's ok if you miss it, but this situation is killing me too. So, please, give me a break...”
You heard every word he told you, feeling the same knot he felt on his chest, and his voice about to drown in tears. You walked slowly towards him, looking inside your head for the correct things to say.
“I like the way you cook, but you scared the shit out of me, 'cause I didn't know you were shouting at YouTube”. You thought maybe some kind of joke could help, while he was holding your hands. “I don't like pepper, nor lemon, so it's fine. Maybe... we could have lunch together, if you're not busy with the club”.
“Fuc' da' club, caileag”. For the first time, you saw him smiling and it was amazing. “Do you think everything will be fine?” He sounded sad, simply sad. But you nodded without any doubt.
“We will be fine, athair”.
That was all he needed to hear. Chibs leaned towards you, placing a hand behind your head to leave a kiss on your forehead. Your hands held on his waist in a warm hug that you were wanting to give him since you arrived to Cali.
━━━━━━ (One year later) ━━━━━━
But what happened next was totally unexpected. You hear Happy talking with his prospect, around the corner of the workshop, about a dangerous mission they have to take care of, keeping them for two months out of Charming. And by Chibs decision, you're not coming. But he didn't tell you anything about it, before. Walking in the front yard, you find six motorbikes and a van you don't recognize from your charter, but belong to an MC. You're angry, so angry. Your steps are heavy and big, going faster to the clubhouse, taking off the rings of your fingers to keep them inside the pocket. You open the door suddenly, without warning the men who seems mexican sitting closer to your father. You only can see that fucking scottish who made a promise he's not gonna keep. And he sees the fury burning in your orbs.
“Oh, shit”. It's everything he can say before one of your fists go straight to his face.
“Woah, woah, take it easy, chamaca!” One of the unknown man talks, trying to walk next to you, until you point it at him with the gun you had tucked under your shirt. All the men raise their hands with their eyes so much opened, letting you know that they're not gonna interfere again.
Time have passed. Some wounds has been closed and you have got used to the heat of the coast. Now, you're not who you used to be. SAMCRO changed you, having its good things and its bad things. You lost all the innocence you had, learning to defend yourself by fighting body-to-body and shooting weapons of different calibers. Happy and Tig usually try to catch you by surprise hitting you, but your faster than their old asses, blocking every hit that comes from nowhere. And sometimes you ‘play’ paintball with Juice on his free day. You're one of the Redwood family, being included in every mission one way or another, working hand by hand with the prospect; with the minimal difference that your father is your sponsor. This gives you two some problems because of the strong character you have inherited from him. And there are some times when you end up being beaten. The crew is used to it.
You turn to your father, who is rubbing his right cheek between some groans, supporting a hand on the pool table. You're breathing distressed with your eyes full of tears. You know how it works. When he leaves Charming, you don't have any notices for almost one week. You live every day with the pain of not knowing if he's still alive or not. Two months is too long. You can't even live without him at this point of your life, how are you supposed to do it?
“You promised me!” You yell at him pointing your chest with your own forefinger. “You said ‘us against the world’! You said it!”
Your voice is breaking, drowned by the tears that run down your face and your neck.
“You're a fucking liar! You're doin' the same you did thirteen years ago!” Yes, you can see how your words are affecting him, but you don't care.
“Baby, listen...” He tries to give some steps towards you, receiving a push on his chest.
“I don' wanna hear more bullshit”. Putting the gun again behind your back, you turn to the front door, with a slight pause next to the other charter. “By the way”. You stare to the man you pointed seconds ago. “Next time I'm talking to my father, you shut the fuck up...” Reading his patch, you raise your eyes at him. “Presidente”.
You slam the door shut after you leave, seeing Happy next to your motorbike. He knows you know what is gonna happen by the tears running your cheeks. But even if you don't wanna talk with him, being your confidant since you came to Charming, he wraps strongly your body with his arms before you can run away from him. Crying inconsolably, you hide your face on his chest without moving your arms, only supporting your weight against him. Happy rest his chin on your head with a sigh, 'cause he knows well how much you suffer when your father attends a mission out of town.
“Are you leaving too?” You finally ask, even when you don't wanna hear the answer. He nods slowly, cleaning your tears with his long fingers.
“I'm sorry. I promise I'll try to write you”. He says hoarsely. “I'm sure you didn't let Chibs explain himself, but listen… Not even my prospect is coming. It's really dangerous for you two, we're gonna be ok, (Y/N)”.
“Who are they? What are they doing here?”
“They're Mayans, from Santo Padre. Oscar and Canche ‘family’. We can't leave you here, alone, without any protection. So, Chibs asked them to take care of you while we're out”.
Now you understand what's happening. It's suppose you should move from Charming to the south Cali, surrounded by men you don't know. Leave your house, again. Your cry appears again, shaking your head with some sobs stuck on your throat.
“Baby, listen, listen”. Happy try to have your attention cupping your face between his hands. “They're good men, they're gonna take care of you. And Canche will go to Santo Padre every week to see you”.
“I don' wanna go, Happy. I wanna go with you, please”. You beg in tears, with your lips trembling.
“(Y/N), you can't”. He sentences, trying not to sound too rude. He snort closing his eyes for a second. “Listen, they also have a car scrapping. You can work there. You like cars and you studied to be mechanic. 'Am sure these two months gonna' pass so fast that you're not gonna notice it”.
The front door of the club house gets opened. You turn for a while, just to see how the men gets out of it. You sigh, looking at Happy again. And you nod, even when you don't want to do it. Pulling yourself away from him, you're heading towards your motorcycle. In silence, after fastening the helmet, you start the engine. If you have to leave Charming you wanna do it as soon as possible. So, it's time to pack your stuff.
And that is what you're doing, when you hear your father's keys opening the door. His footsteps coming close to you, watching sideways how he leans against the door frame arm-crossed. Your basic clothes are already inside the suitcase on the bed, closing the zip after checking again that you have taken everything you could need. In the bag next to it, you keep your laptop, your headphones and all the chargers, in addition to other things.
“Please, talk to me”. Chibs says, but there's no answer from you. “I didn't know how to tell you, and I'm sorry, honey. But I promise...”
“Don't”. You turn at him raising your forefinger. “Don't make any promise you're not gonna keep, Filip”.
He knows you're truly sad when you call him by his real name. Chibs walks towards you, holding your hands slowly hoping that you're not gonna push him away again.
“Bishop and his guys 'gonna take care of you. And Happy said he told you about ‘Romero and Brothers’. I'm pretty sure you're gonna have fun there”. He's trying to make you understand.
“I don' care. I'm gonna be away from you”. You finally say, letting go all the pain you have inside your chest, oppressing your heart. “And you're not allowed to text me, nor call me. Could you imagine how distressing it feels?”
“'You think it isn't for me? I'm not stone cold, even if sometimes it's what it looks like, (Y/N). I think about you all the time. About what you're doing at any moment. If you're eating well, if you're sleeping... All the fucking time”. He replies trying to hide his anger. “But I need to protect you. And there aren't better hands than Bishop's”.
You nod. You don't want to continue arguing with him. Filip hugs you tightly, hiding your face on his neck, trying to not break in cry again. Your hands clinging on the back of his shirt. You're not sure how many time you have been like this, when your father decides that he should call the Mayans to pick you up.
The roars of motorcycles, coming just in time, have your attention. You take your stuff, rolling the suitcase over the floor till you find them outside. Your father takes it to keep it inside the van, before saying goodbye.
“They're gonna take care of you, ok?” He says again, holding your cheeks between his hands. You nod in silence about to cry. Leaving a kiss in your forehead, he hugs you. “If I can, I will text you. I promise. And I'll keep that one”.
“Two months?” You ask raising your gaze at him.
“I'll be back before your birthday”. Assures you. “I love ya' more than anything. You know, rai'?”
You nod again swallowing, before leaving one last caresses in your left cheek, cleaning the tear that falls down through it.
“You're going with my man, Coco”. Bishop talks, with the helmet covering his head while he wears both leather gloves.
“And my bike?” You turn to your father with more dramatism than necessary.
“It's in the van too, don' worry”. Chibs answers, hitting twice one of the doors. “Canche could need you”.
“Or us”. The Mayans president add with a soft smile on his lips.
Things starts to change, when you're conscious that you will continue working with the charters even if yours isn't present. So, at least, it's not gonna be that bad as you thought.
“I'm sorry 'I pointed you with my gun”.
“What I can expect from Chibs' daughter? It would have scared me more if you hadn't, after everything we've heard from you”. Your father chuckles because of the words of the Mayan. “Ready?”
You hug him again, taking some seconds to memorize his smell to not forget it at all.
“I love you”. You whisper, pulling him away softly, before walk to the front passenger seat of the van.
But, before the man could start the car, your father makes a last appearance, pointing with the forefinger to all the men presents there.
“If anyone of you touch my daughter, I'll cut off your cock and make you eat it”. The Mayans know that it's not a joke, so they nod agreeing.
“I've a daughter. Her name is Letti”. The mexican accent, camouflaged in the foreign language, pushes you out of your thoughts. “She's sixteen, but I think you could be fren'”.
━━━━━━ ﹅ ━━━━━━
The sun is falling when you leave the ‘Welcome to Charming’ sign behind the van. You sigh heavily settling in your seat. The fresh air that enters by the open window makes fly some strands of your hair, supporting both arms against the door, with your chin on it, to watch out of the car the sunset on the horizon. It's gonna be hard, you know it, but at least you will have Canche visiting you every week. Maybe Oscar comes from Stockton too.
“Yea', maybe...” You say, turning for a second.
Coco turns the radio, hoping that music makes you feel better, looking for a channel without interferences. Then, you hear your favourite song, turning to the hand that is moving the calibrator. The man stares at you with curiosity, before turning up the volume. The melody continues, while you go back to your position leaving your cheek this time and closing your eyes to focus in the song.
“Hey, oh, listen what I say, oh! I got your hey, oh! Now listen what I say, oh!”
You're about to give him the silent treatment, but that only has bad points in your favor. You'll have to live and work together for the next months, so sooner or later, you're gonna have to talk him.
The first time you listened that song, you were living with your parents in Glasgow. You can remember your father singing it to you all the time, before go to Charming. So, listen to it again causes you bittersweet feelings.
“I like the Red Hot' too”. Coco says trying to be kind, while his fingers drum the steering wheel to the beat of the music. You have to say that he has a funny voice and hearing him singing sounds like a dying cat. That makes you chuckle. “Hey! What's up, mami? Don' laugh on me!”
“Sweet Jesus Christ, you're gonna make it rain”. Your laughter is loud now, capturing president attention who slows down to reach your window.
“It's everything ok, uh?” He shouts over the sound his motorbikes does.
“I hope he has a good aim, 'cause he couldn't work as singer!” You say in laughs.
“He's a veteran Marine, kid! What do you think?” Bishop accelerates to return to his place, while you turn to the driver, truly surprised. He has a triumphal smile on his face and his gaze in front.
“These motherfuckers discharged me because I used a rifle to shoot a cigar out of an officer's mouth”. He tells you. “I was three hundred meters from him”.
This is amazing and you feel the curiosity growing inside you. Curling your legs on the seat, putting around them your arms, you stare at the Mayan.
“Can you tell me about it?”
“'Bout wha'?” He asks looking at you for a second a little confused.
“About the Marine”.
He frowns, looking at you again.
“You wanna hear 'bout it?”
“I'm not asking you about the Area Fifty One”. You say with a sharp voice shrugging.
“I'm pretty sure that would be a good talk too”.
“C'mon! It's a long travel!” It almost seems like you're starting to beg, but the topic of the Navy and Marine has always interested you.
“It's weird!”
“Why?”
“Cuz' nobody has asked me 'bout it before”. He says with the same confusion you saw on him before.
“So bad is it...?”
“No, it's... cool. Pretty cool”. He replies with a slight smile on his face.
“I wanted to enlist in the British Army, but my mother said it was too dangerous for me. So, I didn't”. Your voice trembles for a second, and he realizes it.
“Sorre' 'bout your mom, Chibs told us”. He says after a moment in silent. “I killed mine”.
Your face shows a similar gesture of horror, he shrugs exaggeratedly.
“That bitch hit my daughter, and hurt her so bad. She also forced her to have a ‘bad life’, 'you know what I mean. She deserved it”. The calm with which he explains overwhelms you.
You're starting to think he hasn't had a good life. But who in their right mind would work for an MC? Not you, neither does he.
“And your mother hate you so bad that she called you ‘Coconut’?” You try to finish the tension installed inside the van with somewhat bad joke.
“The fuck told you that's my name?” He breaks in laughter, shaking his head, accidentally giving a flywheel.
“Oh, shit”. Both say in unison. The charter looks back.
“My bad!” He shouts sticking his head out the window for a moment.
“Then? What's your name?”
“Johnny Cruz. And everyone calls me Coco”.
“Why?”
“We're not in that level yet, mami”. He imitates the sharp voice you used before.
“Ok, but, are you gonna tell me about the Marine?”
He sighs rolling his eyes, before showing you again his smile. So, there you are, lying on your seat stretching legs crossed on the dashboard of the van. He starts to talk, of course with the funny story of how he enlisted and all the chaos he created, compensating for it with his good aim. His voice is so calm, that if you close your eyes, you could think is one of those podcast people use to sleep; without the part of shooting, murdering, and all the bloody stuff.
Actually, you did. You closed your eyes, opening it when the night has fallen. You yawn, putting your legs on the floor of the van.
“Sorry, I didn't sleep last night”. You apologize with flushed cheeks, rubbing your eyes.
“It's ok, mami. Te ves bonita mientras duermes”. (You look pretty while you're sleeping). He says.
“What did you say?” You ask, pretending that you don't speak spanish, but the truth is that you studied it for three years while you were living in Scotland.
“That you were drooling everything”. He lies so bad that he's a little nervous. “We're almost reaching to Santo Padre”.
“Great... Home, sweet home, isn'it?”

Iron Buttercups Part 1
A kidsopp story :)))
So I finished the first part of it! Yayyy!! Had to do a lot of revising and shit but I think this is pretty great! Hope you enjoy!
Synopsis: So in this story it's kinda like a meet cute, but the person who's in the meet cute looks like and acts like he hates your guts but he actually wants to be in them if you catch my drift. Anyways no smut, mostly cause I don't know how to write it. And I'm not sure how I'd do at writing it. Also love being mean to Zoro, he's so squinchy!!! The interactions between Sanji and Usopp can be read as whatever, I'm thinking more like they're best friends in this story but also who cares! Feel free to think it's a bit Sanji x Usopp too! Also a bit of Frobin in here, love that shit. Also maybe like a really small hint of Lawlu?
The idea of having four crews of the worst generation on one island was a terrible idea, however it couldn't be avoided. Sanji needed to restock on various foodstuffs, Franky also needed to dock to work on some things and see whether everything was in "tip top shape" as Franky said, and even Usopp had things he needed to do on the island. But the thought of seeing Law's crew sounded like a pain in the butt, while running into Hawkin's or Kid's crews sounded more like a fight waiting to happen.
That's alright, right Nami?"
If looks could kill Usopp would probably be dead. Nami gritted out in a sickly sweet tone " Yeah, sure Luffy! I'd love just love to dock at the same exact island that three other dangerous crews are on!"
Luffy stared at Nami with a blank face, not quite getting that she was being sarcastic.
"..... Great?" Said Luffy with a tone that implied he was not sure whether or not to answer, and if said answer was correct.
She sighs, she's been trying to help Luffy understand more social cues as well as when people are being nice versus when people are being rude. Although from the looks of it, the little lessons Nami’s been giving him hasn’t been working.
Nami turns to Usopp to Usopp and smacks the back of his head, then points at him and says. " This is your fault."
And truth be told, yeah it was his fault that Luffy heard about Law being on the island but it wasn’t his fault that they ran out of food. For the most part. Okay maybe he and Luffy one too many midnight snacks. Fine, more like ten too many but who's counting.
Usopp heard a chuckle coming from Robin lying in the lawn chair and reading.
"Well perhaps we'll run into a bit of fun? I heard that long ago this island used to take young prisoners of war to sacrifice to their god." Franky, who was listening in from earlier said. "Oh yeah, you told me about that! You think there might be a cult still following those old practices? You think they might even take my heart? Although I don’t exactly have a heart but I do have-“
Which leads to Franky to start rambling about the specifics of his heart/processor thing. While Robin looks to him with admiration and love. She interrupts him and counters with "You're not exactly a young prisoner of war, Flam. On top of that I do not like sharing what's mine."
Franky sputters in a way that describes the conflicting feelings that Robin's response evoked in him while Robin chuckles at his confusion.
"God they're so fucking sappy, it’s so cute and gross at the same time."
As Zoro tried to reply he was immediately kicked out of the argument as he got hit by both Nami and Usopp.
"Anyways, both of you are on dish duty for the rest of the week."
"You can't do that!"
"I DIDNT DO SHIT!!" Nami goes to hit Zoro and Usopp on their heads.
"Too bad, now get ready to leave the ship. You're also both on grocery duty."
The two men groaned as Nami walked away in a huff. Zoro looked at Usopp in the eye and sent him a little glare.
"Don't look at me like that. Look I'll buy you some good sake alright?"
"... I want two bottles," Usopp sighs, signalling that the deal has been made. As he walks away Zoro proceeds to shout. "And it better be good or I'm gonna-!"
"Ughhhh. Yeah, yeah."
With a little smirk Zoro goes back to relaxing. Or maybe he was going to have a quick nap before going. Either way he was resting.
So Usopp decides to walk down to his workshop to double check his inventory and make a checklist of everything he needs to buy. After about an hour or two, right as he was about to go to Franky and ask if he also needed any parts, he hears a knock on his door. Usopp opens it to find Sanji.
Sanji leans against the doorway while lighting a cigarette and asks. "Dish duty and grocery duty huh?"
Usopp replies with a “Man, shut the hell up."as he rolls his eyes.
Which earned a chuckle from Sanji. "I'm gonna go wake the Marimo up now so you better hurry up."
"Wait, I gotta ask Franky a couple of things before I go."
Franky then pops his head from his workshop and proceeds to ask, "What do ya need to ask me?"
Usopp was surprised to see him there, not that it was unusual to see the in his own work room. Usopp just thought he was still with Robin or something. Probably just didn't hear Franky coming down because he was so focused on his supply check.
"Three?"
"Yeah, I looked for some flowers that were deer and people safe. So I could give one bouquet to Robin, another for Chopper and the last for Nami to brighten their rooms a little!"
"Aw that's sweet! But don't you think Chopper might eat those? Considering that those flowers are safe for deer? Although he isn't technically a deer but a reindeer."
Franky stood there in silence along with Usopp and Sanji. All of them ponder the question that was just asked. Usopp thinks this might be the longest time Franky has ever stayed quiet. He then starts to walk away as he said to Usopp "So the seals, nuts and screws!
They walked out over to the deck to find Zoro not there. Or in any of his usual sleeping spots.
"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!"
"God fucking dammit. He probably thought we left him or some shit."
"That damned moss head, it's like he literally has moss in his head instead of an actual human brain. I'd say I can't believe this, but this is pretty on par for that dumbass."
"Should we split up and look for him before we go shopping?"
"We can't, we need to buy the groceries before the other crews clear the market of everything. If I can't get everything I need, that bitch is gonna pay!"
"Okay so what's the plan? Just buy the groceries?"
"Usopp look, I'm gonna need you to buy everything on this list I made for you," Sanji gives him a list and rips another list in half and gives Usopp one half. "I'll handle half of the Marimo's list and you get that half, now I can count on you to buy all of them?"
Usopp smirked and replied confidently, "Nami ain't the only that can get a good bargain!"
"Hell yeah, Make me proud!
.
Usopp was arguing with a lady about the rice that Sanji needed him to buy. He heard from another vendor that he gets all his rice from here because her rice was high quality and delicious. The woman was tough, she looked pretty with her hair tied up and wrapped up in a bandana. However her stand looked a bit old and out of order. It could use some renovation to make sure that it would still draw in customers as well as keep to keep the stand itself safe and stable.
"My final offer! 10,000 berries for 40 kilograms of your finest rice!"
He couldn't carry all this rice. Well technically he could, but that would take around two or three trips. Not only did that sound exhausting but it was starting to get dark and he still hasn't bought what Franky needs yet. He starts to think hard on what to do until he hears a loud yell from across the street.
He looks over and, oh. Oh no.
"Hey! You're the sniper for the Strawhats aren't ya?"
This was one of the last people he wanted to see, one of exact reasons he did not want to stop at this damn island.
This was NOT a good day for Usopp.
Eustass Kidd. A man said to not have any qualms with killing and pillaging, thought to even enjoy it with a bloody smile on his face. Said to enjoy his feasts filled with booze, food and bodies dead and alive. A man that Usopp, would obviously be scared of.
And although that may be true, it wasn't like a brave warrior of the sea to be afraid of some rival crew. No. A brave warrior would stand his ground, whether he was outnumbered or weaker than his opponent. So a brave warrior he will be. Until Kidd leaves at least.
"Where's that shitty little kid anyways?"
Usopp was still mentally preparing to talk to him! And he couldn't act like his usual self right now! He had to adopt someone else's personality or something!
"Hey! You ignoring me or something you brat?"
As of right now, he could only think of a response similar to whatever Usopp thinks Luffy would say. Which was probably the worst response he could use. But it was better than nothing, so before Kidd became even more irritated he used the "Luffy" response.
"W-Who're you calling a brat! I'm only four years younger than you!"
Shit. As soon as Usopp finished his sentence, there was some kind of glint in Kidd's eye. Which Usopp presumed it to be murderous. "Of all the people to copy, did I really have to pick Luffy?" He thought as Kidd started to walk over towards a overthinking Usopp.
"Oh really? So you're the same age as that stupid captain of yours?"
Fuck, screw this. He's just gonna act like himself. He backs away from Kidd trying to get more space between them, which was useless because Kidd followed his each step.
"If you hurt me, uh. Luffy will come after you!"
He's getting closer he's almost right in front Usopp.
"Who cares about your captain? He ain't here now. What I wanna know is, what you’re gonna do."
"Oh! Uh, no? I mean. No I-, I mean yes I. Haha sorry.
He didn't think he’d die like this but it doesn’t really matter what kind of death he has does it?
"So where do you need to go?"
"Well I need to go to the parts shop and maybe the junkyard if we have time."
"Sick. So which way?"
"Well a vendor I talked to before said that the parts shop should be further down a couple of streets and that I'd need to take a right turn at the red bar then proceed down that street and then we'd find it."
"Well then hurry up, I ain't got all day you know."
The walk was quiet, and quickly turning into an anxiety churning venture. He didn't understand what was happening. Well, okay. Usopp understood that Kidd just, appeared out of seemingly nowhere and practically invited himself in on this little errand run the moment they met. It's just that, it was like the whole situation just, didn't click in his head for some reason? That must have been a joke or something right? Maybe this was a dream? Or he's actually on the ship! Unconscious from Nami's punch! Maybe-
“God you’re so fucking slow! Do you need me to carry you too?”
“Wh- No! I can walk by myself! I was just thinking a little too hard a-and besides, these bags are a bit heavy so of course I’d be a bit slow. If I didn’t have these bags I bet I’d have gotten to the junkyard already!”
Usopp thought to himself. “What am I saying!? He’s gonna break my body into pieces if I keep going with whatever the hell I’m talking about!”
However even as Usopp thought that, he couldn’t stop talking. “And on top of that, I’m only walking slow like this, cause so you can keep track of me!”
And right as Usopp thinks “STOP THAT! IF YOU KEEP GOING HE MIGHT-“
“You wanna put that to the test, runt?”
Fucking. Goddamit. Maybe, he could get out of this, Usopp thought. He can get out of this right? He’s Usopp! He can get out of anything!
“I’m not sure if you’d want that wouldn’t wanna show you up in front of-“ While Usopp tried to talk his way out Kidd had already decided that they were racing.
“Five.”
“Huh?”
“Four.”
“Wait, Kidd you don’t want to-“
“Three.”
“You really don’t want to do thi-“
“Two.”
“Kidd, I. I’m not ready! I gotta do all this stuff to-“
“One.”
In the last second Usopp resigned to his fate, as he thought well, he might as well die trying. So right as Kidd was about to say zero, Usopp instead yelled.
“ZERO!” And started booking it.
