✨The Sherlock Holmes Museum✨

221B Baker Street, London

hi turtles! here it comes: the photo post to the sherlock holmes museum. i'll include my favorite pictures & the information i could actually keep in my silly brain (probably none). i'll number the pictures, so you can keep track.

please keep in mind that the place was pretty crowded and i couldn't take pictures of everything in perfect quality/from the perfect perspective.

the entrance (1) looks like this:

i especially loved the little blue sign (2) above and the "policeman" (3) dressed in a victorian policeman outfit - with a sherlock holmes tie 🥹 (i didn't get a picture of that, i thought it'd be weird to take a picture of him)

the living room (4).

there were two comfy looking armchairs, a fireplace (sadly without billy the skull 😔), and in the right corner you see the chemistry set of Holmes. with the violin right next to it.

in general, they tried to create the rooms exactly how Sir Arthur Conan Doyle described them in his books. it was described as small but with two big windows to the west side (was it west?? i can't remember...).

on the left you can see the desk (5), which i think was used by both: Holmes and Watson (not 100% sure about that tho). on the right you see what was hung up on the walls (6) (the guns lol).

on the opposite wall of the fireplace, you see the shooting marks (7), made by Holmes: the intials "VR" stand for "Victoria Regina" (= Queen Victoria) (Holmes' way to say "long live the queen" i guess? this man was fun when bored...)

and i took a picture of the "The Times" page (8) which laid on the desk because... apparently! i was in the musuem on the day Holmes and Watson moved in together (*johnlock heart explodes a little bit*) and you can see the date somewhere on there... (i found it. but i think she lied to us... imo it says july the 5th and i was there on august the 27th (*dramatic voice* UNbelievable! *excessive eye-roll*) (okay maybe i misunderstood her??? idk))

let's move on to Sherlock Holmes' bedroom.

on the bed were laying two boxes (9). one was with... idk random Holmes-stuff (honestly can't remember what she said to that...) and the second was with the iconic deerstalker inside. funfact about the deerstalker: ACD never mentioned this to be a signature feature of our beloved detective. this only became a thing later on. some dude, whose name i can't remember (i warned you about my silly brain), just decided he'll use that in a film production, because it would be much more accessible for the common folk. deerstalkers were mainly used by hunters and the working class. because Sherlock Holmes, who lived in a rather wealthy neighborhood, was a man of the upper class, he would have worn a different kind of hat (10).

For any of your OCs do you have inspiration(s) for their attacks? What they would look like or how the animation style would be like, etc.?

*GOES ABSOLUTELY FERAL AT THE CHANCE TO TALK ABOUT MY OCS*

Ahem, yes, I have given some thought to their attacks!

Erina:

Her main weapon is a bow. She fires arrows made out of magical energy. She has powers over holy light and love.

Basically a LOT of inspo for her bow attacks comes from Madoka Kaname, especially how her attacks are animated in Magia Record. Her finishing move is firing an arrow into a sigil she made up above, which then shoots down a huge beam of energy (very "Pluvia Magica" coded)

Because she's the super special MC, she also has a secondary weapon: a stereotypical magic wand (I haven't decided yet whether the weapon was born through her own power or inherited from a former/fallen magical girl).

The attacks with the magic wand are more Sailor Moon-coded, especially Rainbow Moon Heartache, Silver Moon Crystal Power Kiss, etc. There are also some original attacks I've come up with that I don't really know how to explain lol. Just imagine huge pink energy hearts everywhere!

Iris:

Her weapons are a pair of chakrams (haven't 100% decided on that but that's what I'm going with for now). She has powers over space and the stars/planets as well as the ability to create wormholes.

A lot of her attacks have to do with wormhole creation (if an enemy is too powerful or annoying, she'll just yeet them into space or a different dimension lmao)

Her star-based attacks are inspired largely by star-based Cures from Precure.

Rhae:

I honestly haven't given much thought to her weapon yet, but I was thinking it's a fancy gun of some kind. She has powers over fire.

She also utilizes an electric guitar to help her control flames and get them even wilder (each of the girls has an instrument that's their signature and that they play both in and out of battle btw- Erina's is the flute, Iris's is the tambourine, and Luna's is the violin- but I imagine that Rhae uses her instrument the most)

She's all about the raw destructive power of fire. LOTS of inspo from Sailor Mars here (who heavily inspires Rhae in general, lol). Some of her powers have more pinpoint accuracy, drawing energy from the flames themselves.

Luna:

Her weapon is a halberd. She has the ability to create as many of them as she wants (similar to Mami Tomoe with her muskets). She has powers over water primarily, and some powers over ice.

Her fighting style is very elegant. She can summon massive amounts of water from thin air and can drown opponents or fire water at such high pressure it can cut through anything.

Like Rhae, she can also draw out the energy of water in her attacks.

Some of her attacks involve summoning dozens of halberds and unleashing them all at once on her opponents.

On this day 4/21/24 at 11:18 am- I have finished Iron Flame and we have to wait till fucking January of 2025 for book 3….

Holy fucking shit there’s so much action and it’s literally insane. Also y’all have been too harsh on Mama Sorrengail… like I get it like she’s harsh but look how her kids turned out they are hardheaded stubborn so 10 toes down on what they think is right. She completed her goal and now she’s going back to the love of her life, a scribe..♥️ don’t care. I am 100% backing their mom.

Also Andarna being left behind like they could be more out there we just don’t know and if the dragons don’t know, the elders might know maybe they don’t even know. Because there is so much of the map that we have not even been to that could maybe be where they could be at her breed. Like they could be in the barren even though there’s not really any mountains like literally anywhere they’re hiding. Or maybe her family fled to give her a chance to live? I’m just just throwing these out here.

I’m going to have to read the last chapter over and over again, but you know I thought it was gonna be more intense honestly. From chapter 60 and on all, it is fucking intense but I thought it would be different. I don’t know like they get her, violet, surrounded still on the fighting field. They do the same thing for Xadan. And then you know either one gets tortured then it forces that one has to turn to save the other (lol hint hint)

I think Onyx Storm to do with both Xaden and Andarna. Not one or the other.

I think nothing really prepared me for Lilith Sorrengail end..like at all….

Also, I am so happy that Sawyer made it. Like there’s just so much going on in the last six chapters. I think the Venin, from what I have gathered do you want Violet, but to take her signet from her and then kill her. And I say that because The guys on page 593 the dark Wilder says “ I’m under orders not to kill, so let’s not make this difficult” also says “ you’ll be so much fun for him to wield” and obviously throughout the last few parts of the first book at Resson they were trying to at least harm violet or try to kidnap her. Her signet is legitimate power. She’s also the first Lightning user in they said decades or hundreds of years( I don’t quite remember, but it was a long time) You can see why they would want her specifically.

I find it very fucking interesting that they both have the same nightmares. They just never told each other about it like he turned for love and she will turn to save the one she loves.what the fuck

Also, it’s been coincide with that “ I have waited 650 years to hatch. Waited until your 18th summer, when I heard our elders talk of the week link daughter of their general, the girl forecasted to become the head of the scribes, and I knew. You would have the mind of a scribe and the heart of a rider you would be mine.”- Andarna. Her breed has to be the breed that wiped out the venin all those years ago because those numbers don’t just correlate for randomness. It just doesn’t make sense like for the love of fucking God it doesn’t make sense.(also I’m not religious that I’m just making a point.)

I also understand the reason why Violet is acting how she is with her now trust issue and being left in the dark is such a big thing for her. I think it’s just because she found her chosen family and finding out that there things being withhold from you, that are important, but not significant to the moment. Xaden is so patient and he definitely gets brownie points from me. He also has trust issues and not saying hes innocent in all this but they both have their reasons and they are taking healthy steps and moving forwards. Violet tends to be centered with knowledge and having that helps her make decided what to do next and move forward.

The conversations/arguments do get tedious, but considering a lot of her knowledge of The Continent and what happens and basically being lied to about their whole society will do that to a person because they think whatever they thought they knew they now have to rethink it. And it does suck being kept in the dark about stuff nobody wants to be kept in the dark, but in the end, she still loves him, she still chooses him.

re: everything horny nothing beautiful—do you think people are onto something when they say that americans became oddly and intensely puritan after 9/11. never understood that particular argument, nor the bit about americans as uniquely puritan/sexually repressed compared to the rest of the (western) world

ya i can kind of understand people thinking that the wave of post-9/11 nationalism led to like a general sexual conservatism, like it's sort of just an assumption that those things must have automatically gone hand-in-hand, but i don't think actually that america did become significantly more sexually repressed or puritanical in the aughts lol. it's also another one of those cases where many people seem to want to use the idea of puritanism to mean, like, "intensification of reactionary ideas" and i think puritanism is better understood as just one reactionary strain among many. like, all roads do not necessarily lead to rome.

anyway as to the general perception of americans as uniquely sexually repressed and puritanical i think there are a couple things going on. one is a general, max weber-lite tendency to over-interpret the significance of protestantism as a guiding economic force with an accompanying cultural and sexual ethos. so the fact that america has always been plurality protestant gets taken as prima facie evidence of sexual repression, like the way countries like england or germany are also assumed more repressed and buttoned-up than eg france or italy. i've said before that weber arguments are bad (/tagged/weber) and i'll say it again.

there's also, i genuinely think, a continued appeal to the colonialist, climatic-racial argument that hotter environments make people more emotional, impulsive, expressive, and yes sexually uninhibited. again even just within europe you can think here about how northern europeans perceive themselves vs how they talk about spain, italy/the mediterranean, etc. i think the us gets broadly lumped in with england here as a former british colony, and then you can see how internally there's absolutely a distinction between how people talk about the us north vs the south, and how the south is contrasted as wilder and, despite the bible belt, sexually more dangerous/improper; obviously this also relates to internal racist and classist dynamics, including the legacy of slavery and its corresponding discourses of blackness/africanness. there's also an east-to-west distinction internally, which i'd argue shows the continued legacy of settler justifications and ideas of western expansion as both manifest destiny and exploration of a wild and untamed terra nullius. the northeast, which is where the puritan influence was historically strongest, is often positioned in these discourses as the 'true' america in the sense of being the cultural centre or source (on an internal centre-periphery model à la basalla) so the puritan influence gets overstated and puritanical/repressed sexual mores are then seen as linked to economic dominance as well as 'proper' behaviour and culture.

and then finally sometimes people are just like, going into these arguments assuming that religious proscriptions on sex can be taken at face value, which is honestly very funny. like for example you will often hear people assert that the us is specifically more 'prudish' about child sexuality than eg italy or france, and they may point to things like us evangelical 'purity rings' or those ceremonies where like, girls pledge their virginities to their fathers. and it is true these things happen. but people making this type of argument tend to forget that also, child marriage is legal in the us. in general a religious command is an interesting phenomenon for a sociological analysis, but not necessarily one that should be taken as uncomplicatedly true, esp where like sexual taboos are concerned lol. it's true that in general, americans are more concerned to preserve certain kinds of modesty than some europeans (like, public changing rooms or spas are a very different affair in the us than in eg iceland or scandinavia, specifically regarding level of comfort with nudity) but it's not really a very serious argument to assume this correlates to a larger phenomenon of general repression or puritanism.

i mean i understand all national identities are constructed and this is just a piece of how that's done, both by americans and by other countries looking at america. but yeah i would say it's not a very insightful analysis of religion or sexuality lol

Your OCs are put in the Hunger Games! Who's surviving, and how?

Ooooh thank you!! Very good question, let's see....

(long ramble incoming btw, I love thinking about survival strategy with my OCs lol)

Rae: With her abilities or without, she's not afraid to jump into a fight. She'd probably avoid the initial slaughter, but would run back to the Cornucopia once it's cleared out to get a weapon and whatever other supplies she can grab. This strategy probably gets her a decent way through the game, since she's an experienced fighter from training with the X-Men, but she stands a much better shot if she has her shields. Without them, she's surviving somewhere in the realm of 75% of the way through the game before being double-teamed or taken down by a better fighter, but with her shields she might make it to the end (or close to it)

Robin: Plays things a bit conservative, and works on generating an alliance with another player or two. She'd most likely get offed by something in the natural world - she's a good fighter and can manage a team or alliance well, but she's not as experienced with nature and would probably end up getting sick from tainted water or mistaking a poisonous mushroom for an edible one.

Madison: Disappears into the wilderness. She's playing the long game for sure - she can survive in the wilderness for years if she has to, the enhanced creatures and traps would prove a bit of a challenge but nothing she can't handle. She waits for most of the players to take care of each other, then works on quietly assassinating her biggest threats (this would be easier with her abilities, with her venom and camouflage, but she'd find a way even in a completely power-neutral Hunger Games). She could very likely make it to the end, unless someone catches her in the act of trying to assassinate them and manages to kill her first

Ophelia: Hm... this could go two ways. On the one hand, she is wickedly smart and resourceful, and could thrive in a tech-forward Hunger Games. She'd probably be the type to repurpose the unexploded landmines like those people in the first book, and use those and other resources to set traps. On the other hand, she's been a city girl all her life, and reading textbooks on wilderness survival is different from being in the thick of it, so a nature-forward Games wouldn't be good for her. Plus, there's the matter of her knee - she can still fight, but she wouldn't be able to outrun Mutts or a wall of fire or any other traps like that.

Jasper: I'm gonna be real, they're not surviving the Hunger Games. Their main resources in the Games would be their medical experience, so their main plan would be to use their nursing skills as incentive to form an alliance (since they could very well be the only one able to stop a person from dying of infection/blood loss/etc. if it came down to it). But that strategy only gets them so far, since their only "fighting" experience is roller derby and a single college self-defense seminar. As soon as someone invades the alliance, or they get to late-stage game where they have to turn on each other, Jasper's probably going down.

Katherine: Sadly... also not making it out alive. With her magic, she stands a much better chance, since she can call on the gods to aid her (they're motivated to keep her alive since she's about the only one able to act as a priestess in the modern world, so they'd be willing to give her strength and cunning and protect her from whatever threats they can), but even that can only go so far, and without her magic she'd probably be one of the first to die - shot down or speared in the first rush to the Cornucopia

Kestrel: With their shapeshifting at their disposal, they survive without winning - they'd shapeshift into a mundane animal somewhere in the battlegrounds, and keep moving and transforming until both the cameras and the other contestants lose track of them. They don't fight, and don't even really consider themself a contestant, but they can survive in the form of various animals until the Games are complete, then slip away when the arena is abandoned. Without their shapeshifting, in a power-neutral games, they probably tie Madison with pure wilderness survival strategy and can last a good long while, but they're not cunning or ruthless enough to get rid of their competitors first and would only be able to kill in self-defense, which leads to them eventually getting struck down.

Quinn: She'd have the Foxface strategy for sure - all cunning. Physically she could be swiped down easily, against physically-abled and highly-trained fighters from the First District especially, so she becomes the master of mind games instead. She's got a thousand tricks up her sleeve, everything from swiping tools from her competitors while they're unaware to weaving such an elaborate lie that they convince an "ally" that poisonous berries are really perfectly safe. This strategy probably won't get them to the end of the game, since it usually always ends in a physical showdown that Quinn likely wouldn't be able to keep pace with, but it's interesting to watch and they get a lot of support from watchers of the games (she expected food to be an issue, since she's a city girl and knows nothing about hunting or foraging, but between nicking food from other contestants and donations from eager watchers she's actually in pretty good shape. Once they even managed to get her pain meds, since all the physical movement is havoc on her back and legs)

Eris: The better question is, is there any way they're not making it to the end of the Games? I mean, if there was ever a place that was made for them, this is it. Good god, I pray for their enemies. The only thing I can imagine taking them down is if it's a power-neutral Hunger Games, Eris would dive into a fight with the expectation of their healing factor and would realize too late that they can't shrug off their injuries like they usually do.

Nikoletta: She is the assassin of all assassins!! Especially if she has her powers at her disposal, she's finding a knife and picking off the contestants one by one (and diving into the shadows to escape). Even without her shadow-touch, she's sneaky and a good manipulator, so she'd make a good assassin either way. If anything's taking her down, it would be an alliance - in all likeliness, she's not even opening herself up to the possibility of an alliance, she's a lone wolf who just wants to get out alive, but if someone actually managed to break through her shell and form an alliance, that could turn into a point of weakness for her (either by them turning on her, them being used as ransom by another contestant, or Nikoletta being so focused on her ally's safety that she gets blindsided herself).

(also oh my god could you imagine the angst of them being put into the Hunger Games with their partners?? i mean i'm talking about Nikoletta's weakness being a surprise alliance bc that's basically an echo of her actual story with Abner, but could you imagine if it actually was Abner on the other end of it? Or Eris being forced to battle Rick one-on-one, knowing that even as good as he is, they'll always be the better fighter, and there can only be one winner? Or Madison choosing to go completely solo, since she doesn't trust her ability to keep herself and another person alive and hidden in the wilderness during the Games, but then having the thought of Alex fending for himself always simmering in the back of her mind and pulling her focus? Or- let's take things really dark, her taking out a competitor in the dead of night and realizing only once the sun comes up that it was Alex? God there's so much angst in a premise like this)

Many people had general problems with all of the heroines. We'll see the same thing in Hellbent. The double standard.

Or worse...the "Aro is so much better than Dylan" or "Tommy is the best girl" as if there's some competition between these women. It was one of the hardest things too see happen with Devil's Night.

But luckily, most understand Emory was at the survival level in high school and Will wasn't owed anything. Thankfully, her heart came around and she finally fought for him. 💕 I loved that SHE proposed. 😆 One of my favorite scenes. Will was so dang cute. Lol

sometimes, i think some dn readers really don't have any critical thinking skills because they only read what they see, and even then, they don't read fully, as if they were just skimming. How are they gonna believe everything that damon and will said when damon likes to alter reality and mindfuck people, while will lies to everybody but emmy? Even damon and alex never knew his full story, AND their his best friends. And only for will to admit a couple times that emmy was right and he was just lying to convince himself he was right because he was prideful, arrogant, selfish, self-centered and spoiled? Like, if he admitted his flaws to be better, why can't these readers? And the thing that they're mad at her was not even because she was prideful, scared or a bit cowardly (like she admitted in her pov about her approach to her love life and will) but because she was caring for her grandma? 🤡 wtaf? Crazy!

First, PD passing Damon around, and Damon literally wanting to sleep with everyone (except Emory apparently… which is so weird because he did say “it certainly wouldn’t be a chore” like…?) is kinda funny in that PD is exactly like the fandom in thinking Damon is like next level.

I still maintain that will would be the best lay. Damon said he's selfish and doesn't always keep his promises where that is concerned. why are they all lined up for him? We all know he only follows through for winter.

But at the same time my heart is like “Oh… so Emory is safe, right? No weird mash-ups?” And based on PD saying Michael and Banks and then following it was Damon and Kai, I can’t help but think it’s because those pairs have issues. Like they don’t really get along right off the bat, so there’s all this tension… which Emory doesn’t really have with anyone. So maybe that’s one reason why we never get HC with Emory. Because she’s just out there, being cute and not really causing any problems with anyone? Maybe??? I don’t know…

But it’s also weird that PD’s just like “Damon with Kai, Damon with Will, Damon with Misha, Damon with Michael… but I haven’t thought about Damon and Emory before.” Keeping in mind that Rika and Banks are the only other girls in the group besides his wife and they’re his sisters. If it weren’t for that fact alone, I really do think they’d be thrown into the mix.

And again… PD has thought about it before because they wrote Damon suggesting it. Like how have neither of them ever revisited that when the whole family is built on who Damon wants to have sex with, apparently? I’m laughing so hard on the inside because this all seems very…convenient.

Damon hassling Misha is fun. I can see it. Will and Misha are more like brothers, and we saw Will hassling Trevor in Corrupt. I think it’s probably a natural thing for them to annoy their best friend’s younger sibling. Now, if only Michael would stop trying to have sex with his best friend's little sisters...

As for the Michael and Banks convo, I didn’t read that as insecure. I read that as he didn’t want to be thinking about what the three of them would get up to alone when he could be there because he’d get turned on… and not be there. Such torture.

But gah. They’re annoying.

Why would Will try to limit how many chandeliers Emmy has? I assume she would have a warehouse when she and Damon keep supplies for jobs. It’s not like she’s filling every inch of her ceiling with them. That’s just dumb design. So if she wants to have her collection of chandeliers, let her?

And of course, Damon has to spoil her. This is extra irritating because I went back and checked the tampon scene that PD wrote, and they ended it with “Damon probably went in and got them”

Like. I don’t try to defend PD’s portrayal of willemmy anymore. Obviously, I just don’t get it. But it would be impossible to do so when Will is constantly telling Emory she can’t have something or he won’t get her something, and then Damon goes and saves the day.

I feel like we get it, already. Damon is everyone’s everything, and Rika is the star of the show.

I also loved that Emory proposed to Will, and that he didn’t make a big deal about wanting to be the one to do it. But the thing about the favorites is… people are going to have favorites. That’s alright. People aren’t going to love every character on the page.

The reason there is a competition between the Devil’s Night girls is because they were in a competition for page time. It’s the most common complaint I see is that when we were supposed to be learning about Banks, Rika came in and made the scene about her. When we were supposed to be reading about Emory, Alex came in and made the scene about her. PD wrote the girls competing for time on the page and the reader's attention. Logically, the readers have a preference, and they will be jealous for their character. And since the series is what it is and there’s no changing it, of course that means readers are going to bash the character they didn’t want to read about who “stole” time from their favorite.

None of the girls had to be in competition. And I don’t think they are in canon. But PD definitely made it difficult to root equally for all of them when they weren’t all treated the same.

At least some readers are starting to see Emory more clearly, but I feel there will always be a bit of Emory hate. She’s really not given the same level of consideration from PD. Some readers do have a double standard when it comes to the girls, but it’s not always the case. Some readers just want the girls to be given equal amounts of attention across the series.

It’s not lost on me that Rika and Alex are the ones pitted against Banks and Emory the most. The fact is that Rika and Alex were developed during the first book when it was originally a stand-alone and not a series, so Banks and Emory often feel like an afterthought when the other two come around. That’s an issue with the writing, not the reader. And I’m not going to hold PD to the fire over it; writers will always have limits in their abilities. PD did the best they could at the time. But can we stop placing all the blame on how the readers are interrupting it and accept that somewhere along the line the author didn’t execute this in the best way possible? It's nothing to threaten PD over, but at least stop blaming the readers for being frustrated and championing one girl over the others.

And the tiktok… wow. But I can’t say I haven’t heard it before. It’s so strange how some readers are willing to hold Emory accountable for Will’s actions and not Will.

But as they said… we all have our own opinions.

And only for will to admit a couple times that emmy was right and he was just lying to convince himself he was right because he was prideful, arrogant, selfish, self-centered and spoiled? Like, if he admitted his flaws to be better, why can't these readers?

It really is weird, isn’t?

And the final bit of the discourse, not entirely sure what the post meant, but I feel like it relates to a post I made a few weeks back. Will wasn’t mad at Emory for leaving. He was going to let her go and live with the regret of what he did, even though it hurt. He wasn’t ever going to chase her down or seek revenge until he learned that she lied to him and about him.

His anger was never about Emory leaving. It was the lies and (what he saw as) betrayal.

Head canons really don’t come all that easy unless you’re obsessed and constantly thinking about even the most mundane things about a character. There has to be a little insanity around them for it to get that deep.

Again, I don’t really understand PD all that much, but if I had to guess… the boys started it all, and Damon is their favorite. So HC for them is easy. Rika was developed in Corrupt and came soon after the boys, so again, there was a lot of time to be a little obsessed. Banks and Winter aren’t mentioned nearly as much as those first, but still Banks more than Winter, but never without one of the boys or Rika.

I haven’t seen a winter hc or scene other than the alternative scene to KS.

I think the lack of Emory is just that PD was done with the series and the negative side of the fandom by the time they got to NF. If it’s true that they pushed NF out right after KS, then they might not have even had time to be obsessed with Emory.

This is a good or bad thing, depending on how you look at it. Sure, Emory has much less content and readers who favor other characters will find her an easy target. But the bonus of liking an unpopular character is that you’re free to do what you want, because nobody’s watching that character.

Nobody’s watching Emory’s fans. Let’s have fun.

we tend to find that the ivypool vs dovewing thing is characterized like fully committed to one or the other, and at odds with the opposite side, but we personally find ourselves as center ivypool leaning, and fully apathetic to opposite opinions as long as they aren’t jerks about it. we lean to ivypool because we just. straight up find her more interesting than dovewing, who, to us, is just stock girl in generic love triangle. -molly

when i was like 12 ivypool was my fav character and i never considered dovewings side of things. the fandom in 2018 was a much more wilder place and dovewing was still getting alot of hate lol but now i feel like im more dovewing leaning cuz i actually understand that she was forced into a position at a very young age and had to live up to the expectations that her literal religion set. but i dont hate ivypool either they are both unique characters in their own ways and struggles and that why i like them both!!! i understand why most people prefer ivy over dove cuz to understand dovewings side of story u actually have to go in depth in every part of her enviroment, problems and personality........... personally i LOVE just analyzing every little thing about female written warrior cats characters (thats why i also love spottedleaf and squilf) bc of the amount of hate female characters get compared to male characters. justice for both of my girls

I had a gt themed dream last night and it was so cool!! So u know i had to type it up so i could share it

Tw for mentions of violence against tinies, mentions of tinies being held captive by humans, swear words, i think thats it

Basically in the dream there was a mixed size society with three sizes, borrowers (they were like 6-8inch tall), humans (human size lol), and giants (50ish feet tall).

The world was theoretically mixed size but the sizes actually mixing was more complicated in practice bc humans and giants had their own countries while borrowers just kind tried to live amongst them or in communities in the wilderness, and they were known of but not usually treated very well. There were a couple of cities that were more size inclusive tho where all three species lived in something closer to harmony.

But then humans kept like developing more of the wilderness and also kept pushing boundaries by the giants land so there was some unrest and speculation of conflict in the near future between the humans and the giants, while the borrowers were forced to live amongst humans more so

I was a borrower and not lucky enough to live in to have been born in a mixed size city, instead my family lived in a small community in a forest. I wanted to meet humans and giants tho, but then I got my wish bc humans (they were yt ppl ofc) decided to start building into the forest and build a town next to the borrower community and then humans started coming over and were supposedly “friendly” and wanted to share the forest but they clearly weren’t actually. Younger humans would come over and play “pranks” and generally be disrespectful and borrowers started going missing and there were rumors that humans were kidnapping them for who knows what reasons (theories were like they wanted to scare off the other borrowers or human (borrower ig) trafficking).

My borrower family and some of our close friends decided we were going to move to this bigger mixed size city, but while doing so, I got separated from them after humans showed up and started chasing our vehicles. The car/atv thing (borrowers had sort of atv like vehicles) that I was driving crashed into this river. I got washed downstream and didn’t know what happened to my family or where I was. I climbed out kf the river and found I was by these orchards and deep in human territory so I was like Well Shit and was trying to figure out what to do. I eventually decided to try to follow the river bc I was like it’s gotta go somewhere. I did so for the next day, and set up a makeshift camp across from it that night.

The next morning, I was still in the orchards. I started walking again and ran into these two other borrowers who said they’d been held captive by humans and were trying to escape, but now the humans were hunting them w/ dogs. So we all started trying to escape together. UNFORTUNATELY we got cornered by one of the humans and his dog. I tried to distract them while the other two borrowers got away. They did, but the dog grabbed me. I managed to get free and hide in a drainage pipe, and I was fine other than like minor injuries. I waited for nightfall and then came out of the drainage pipe, and found a human gas station and a small farm behind it down the road.

I was pretty desperate at that point so I decided to sneak into the gas station to steal borrow food and supplies. It was empty except for the gas station clerk…or so I thought. This human girl ended up seeing me, but then it turned out she was also borrowing food bc she’d been hitchhiking across the country, and I was like convinced she was going to turn me over to the other humans at first but we ended up forming an alliance and agreeing to help each other get to the city and her get food and supplies on the way and me hopefully find my family there.

AND THEN I WOKE UP without finding out the conclusion
