Her breathe quicken as her e/c eyes darted towards the sky as she looked up confused trying to find everyone but nobody was there on the streets of Shibuya the jester girl stood up quickly confused and shocked her breathe quickening "Red Where did everyone go?" She said turning to find Ivy the bells from her jester hat jingling with each motion but Ivy wasn't there on the floor only her giant mallet laid on the floor "red?" She said quietly "RED! RED?!?!" She continued to scream "IVY! WHERE ARE YOU?" She cried out looking around in circles Y/N grabbed her mallet tightly "IVY! Nice Joke! Nice Prank! Haha Come on! Nice Joke Darling You can come out now" Y/N stared starting to hyperventilate.

A Call echoed from afar "Y/N? Y/N DARLING! WHERE ARE YOU" Y/N froze and yelled back hearing the familiar voice of her Fiancé "RED OVER HERE" "Y/N!" Hearing Ivy's voice calmed the girl down a bit while she heard some stretching and Rustling from her left she turned to see Ivy with a worried face while she was walking on some vines growing towards Y/N She rushed the plants to go to Y/N quickly who was smiling with small tears prickling her eyes "I thought you were gonna leave me again" She whispered while Ivy dropped to the floor engulfing Y/N in a hug shushing and wiping the girls tears "I would never leave you like him my wildflower" The jester nestled into the plants girl neck while Ivy raised her palm towards the plants nearby and picking Ivy and Y/N up to abandoned building rooftop while comforting the girl.

Y/N laid her head on Ivy's chest using her as a pillow while staring at the setting sun while night engulfed them both Ivy plaid with Y/Ns hair which was now out and her jester hat on the floor beside the two "Y/N I love you with all my heart" Ivy whispered "I love you with all my heart two no with like everything" she said happily while Ivy booped the girls nose a light beamed from a billboard 'Game This way' and arrow pointed towards an Aquarium which lit up brightly "heh?" "Game?" Y/N said reading the Katakana and Hirigana on the screen Ivy nodded "Maybe we can go seek help?" Ivy said raising an eyebrow but shrugging "or we can just join the game for fun if nobody helps us" Y/N nodded quickly putting her jester hat back on while it jingled "GAME GAME GAME GAME" she screamed with a giant smile.

Hopping onto Ivy's back with a grin Ivy laughed quietly and started to use the plants to carry them to the aquarium when they settled back down on the concrete they stared at the aquarium sign and entered through the doors walking forward they saw some fishes still swimming around along with other aquarium creatures they noticed a glowing light shining on a white circular table that said "One Per Person" laying on the table where some collars Y/N stared at Ivy who stared back at her both holding a evil grin "Now this is a game I think I'd like" Y/N said grabbing a collar putting it on while watching Ivy putting hers on both collars clicking and turned to their right to see a hallway that was contained with people wearing the same collars as the two standing quietly in an Acrylic Aquariums tunnel filled with fish and stingrays.

Walking to the entrance of the tunnel Ivy stared closely at the entrance staring long and hard to see lasers along with Y/N who didn't care and walked through with a smile Ivy joining in soon after both walking to a side of the hallway looking at the fish Ivy turned to Y/N who was just looking at the fish swimming around "Quinny" Ivy started but got interrupted by a mans shout "PEOPLE! Oh finally!" Peoples turned to the man who was wearing a T-shirt and Shorts with sunglasses on his head while the collar was stuck on his neck he rushed to the laser gate and shouted "Hey do you know what happened to everybody else?" Nobody replied back and looked away while Harley and Ivy shrugged "We don't know" Ivy said an womens voice was heard "Its a game... a horrible game" She said tying her blue hair in a pigtail she was gonna continue what she was saying but got interrupted by an Announcement was heard a Robotic women's voice echoed through the speakers while a giant TV appeared at the other end of the hallway "There are 16 participants... difficulty 6 of Clubs game?" The people froze confused.

"6 of clubs?" Y/N whispered furrowing her eyebrows whileas the lights went black and felt something move from under them People screamed and some crying while Y/N was just crossing her arms while Ivy just sighed. Landing easily on a metal floor Y/N went forward and felt something blocking her from going forward "RED?" She called out confused while hearing other peoples voice "Mika?" "CHIKARA?!?!" from two girls the lights turned on Y/N looked around to see all 16 people stuck in a long glass cylinder aquarium built for humans instead of Fish each separated from other participants.

Y/N turned to her right to see an man on his knees praying and Ivy on her left "red" She said Ivy stared at her touching the glass tubes wall while a voice echoed a screen showed on each persons Tube while all of them focused on the screen confused and scared the knock off Siri continued to speak

Game: Aquarium Flood

Difficulty: 6 of Clubs

how the game works: 15 questions will be shown on the screen in front of you each answer your team gets correct the water will fill slowly than at a fast pace while each wrong answer water will fill in the tank quicker if your team has a losing streak of 3 wrong answers it is GAME OVER for your team.

If you don't get 14 Questions correct out of the fifteen or you have lower than that it will also be a GAME OVER for you...

Rules:

1. You cannot Cheat

2. You must communicate with your team if a player chooses a different answer than what there team chooses and it is wrong it's a game over for them if they got it right the "Team" will be the ones who lost the game.

3. You cant use weapons

4. No Escaping

5. Don't take of the collar or GAME OVER

You have 1 hour and 30minutes to complete the game before you are doomed for death

Y/N cracked a grin "When they face Dangers!" everybody pressed C and sighed seeing the water filling slower but they all heard a man cry in the corner when they heard the a siren lights turning read while robotic women's voice called out through the speakers.

the water that was filling the peoples tubes was stopped while the screen went blank everybody froze Y/N stared at the blank screen quietly and turned back to the man seeing piranhas about to drop in his tank him crying out in pain "NO PLEASE NO" he begged while the water started to fill up quickly the piranhas dropped while he cried out.

Y/Ns jaw dropped and clapped her hands the water was above her waist people where scared and started to freak out while the man cried out " I THOUGHT IT WAS B! I SHOULD OF CHOSEN C" The group Turned to the screen and back at the man.

Y/N was shocked when seeing 300 Piranhas dropped down covering the whole tube each one puncturing their teeth into the mans flesh as he screamed under the water while blood started to leak from the bites some piranhas decided to go to his nose and bit it off the blood bleeding out as skin started to be ripped off and his clothes where ripping and he leaned to the back where more piranhas decided to bite his ears and hair while his chest was being eaten.

his screams for help muffling when his tongue got ripped out his body slamming forward to the start view of the glass walls eyes darting to a women who was shaking when he tried to open him mouth to scream but showed he no longer had his tongue but the piranhas where to quick Biting his body more and was being devoured right in front of that women who screamed shaking tears flowing down like a water fall while the water turned to an even darker shade red the mans face went back to the middle to Ivy, Harley and the preaching man his face half mauled and flesh ripped while his bones showing tissues of blood bones and some of his Organs wearing floating until a piranha finished the job by going to the guys floating organ that was still floating and ripped it out while the man dropped dead.

While they heard a draining from under to see the 300 Piranhas dropping down along with the dead mans body onto the flat floor and heard a ringing

The group gulped when hearing the water starting to run again and all of them shouting the answers "It started way before the number 10" Ivy said turning to Y/N

while they heard a scream turning to the two girls having the same faith as the man before Y/N felt the thrill of the game while Ivy didn't care really

The screen appeared after eliminating Container 3 Y/n giggled seeing the women cry out for help just like the others.

There was 12 people left and they only gotten one question wrong they where finally in the fifteenth question the water was up to everybody's neck by now all trying to get the collar out of the Waters reach to not be electrocuted to death. Ivy was breathing steadily while looking at Y/N who just shouted the last answer for the question pressing the answer quickly.

The water started to drain while Everybody collapsed back to the floor shaking there clothes wet while the collars fell off breaking while the lights went off feeling the floor removing again Y/N held there breathe as she dropped down with the other Participants going down as-well.

Feeling the water under her and feeling herself sliding Y/N opened her eyes seeing Ivy in the other tube beside her's Y/N waved widely with an grin.

As she felt her body drop once again and coughed looking up to see the night sky once again and a white table with a card taht had the 6 of clubs.

The 11 participants where all laying on the concrete panting, shaking, and most of all wet.

Y/n sat crisscrossed taking off their jester hat shaking her H/C hair with one side the tips dyed red and the other blue.

Y/N turned her head to Ivy who stood up coughing while Y/n turned to the blue haired girl from the start consoling a girl in a yellow dress. Y/N hummed standing up and walking to the table picking the card up and grinning turning to Ivy who nodded and Y/N hid it in her Bra and walking to Ivy.

Y/n picked Ivy up bridle style and started walking out the alley, Ivy giggled at this pecking the girls cheek "Let's go to a hotel?" Ivy said Y/N eyes shining brightly nodding quickly "Let's go" she said while Ivy grew a flower in her hands and placed it in Y/Ns Hair "I love you" Ivy whispered "I love you too Red" She whispered back while the two walked through an garden entrance to an abandoned hotel while the garden started to grow beautiful plants and flowers while Y/N and Ivy headed up to a room upstairs after stealing a key both flirting while walking up a staircase and finding there room they both went inside and let's say the night they had some fun... they played some board games.

They cuddled and gave each-other some kisses while chatting and talking about what they figured out so far and played with board games.

The two sat next to each-other finding some PJs in a drawer before and laid down in a bed cuddling Y/n Giggled "I love you Ivy" "I love you too Y/N" Both kissing each other and relaxing in each others arms while sleep took them away to rest.

Old and new friends

A/N: Alice in borderland season 2 spoilers so don't go further in reading this if you don't want spoilers. You have been warned if you read and get mad at me don't, it was your choice to ignore my advise. By the way I loved this show from beggining to end.

Summary: ending up at the hospital as a patient was not in your plans today.

You had been friend with Chishiya since you had memory and the fact that you had been neighbors helped and something you found amusing was the fact that you and him ended up in the same class from kidgarden to high school and then ended up working in the same hospital.

Your parents not only were your first supporters in everything they both of you did but they were also very pressuring about your friendship, always throwing the idea for the two of you to bring your relationship on the next level.

The day started as always, your mother called you for breakfast and then started with her little show "you and Chishiya look good together" and "can you immagine how beautiful your kids would look like?"

-MUM STOP IT.- you almost choked on your natto and rice at what she said even tho you had to see it coming. Since you told them about that young girl killed just some days ago, your mum started to feel paranoide and asked you to speed just in case something bad had to happen to you. You remember rolling your eyes and told to calm down and that nothing was going to happen to you.

Once you stepped out of the metro station, in Shibuya you texted Chishiya advising him of the new idea your mother had but before you could even send it flew away out of nowhere. The only thing you remembered was just the hit of air sending you flying off of your feet and a loud sound you didn't understand what it was from.

Waking up the next day felt weird, mostly because you never thought to end up in a hospital's bed, let alone in the one in your working place. The first thing you heard the second you opened your eyes was your mother and father crying, you slowly moved to their side, head still feeling heavy, you thought it was more for the medications they gave you.

-Hey.- you said softly and you regret it so much because your mother started lecturing you for the scare you gave them. -is not like I planned it.- once again she started screaming at you it wasn't the time to joke about it. -sorry, but at least I'm okay.- just then your mind went to Chishiya, he was supposed to be in Shibuya as well at the time of the accident so he either was somewhere in the hospital or... You didn't want to think about it. But before you could even think of the worst case scenario your father reassured you he was okay.

Happiness filled your body head to toe, you felt like a big weight got lifted off of you in a second. Once your parents were forced to leave the room you decided it was the right moment to visit your dear best friend but apparently your roomate decided you weren't going anywhere because she started to ask questions, you didn't mind, you find it kinda cute especially when you noticed her parents didn't come to visit today.

When she asked if your father talked about your boyfriend it did make you feel some type of ways, you thought it was just weird when people reffered to your only close friend as your boyfriend but you shrugged it off.

-He was talking about my best friend. We have known each other since ever basically. You are here because of the meteorite too?-

-Sadly yes but I don't think it was that bad.- she laughed at it, you nodded understanding what she said, I mean you two were in the same boat right now. -I have a question, do you like him?- you were confused, why she would ask you such a thing when she knew nothing of you? -I was just curious because of your reaction, that's it.-

-Is okay, don't worry. I like him I always liked him.- you started talking about him not realizing it, but your roommate never tried to stop you, on the other hand, when the third patient in the room asked you to shut up she send daggers her way, the girl rolled her eyes and went back to sleep. -Oh my god, I forgot to introduce myself, I'm y/n and you are...-

-Kuina, I'm Kuina. I really don't want to stop your little story rn but do you want to get something to eat, I can't keep eating what they give me.-

-I just know the perfect place.- you decided to let her know about your secret place and share your snacks with her, you felt you could be have a good relationship with her so why not start in the best way possible.

On your way to your secret snack spot you kept talking and the more you talked, the more you liked her. A voice caught you off guard and you just rolled your eyes at your friend being a nuissance as ever.

-Kuina this is my friend Chishiya. Shiya meet Kuina my roommate.- they bowed slightly to each other and you kept looking around hoping no one would see you and your new friend in a restricted area. -Do you do spicy?-

-I'm sorry do you have ramen in here? You are not sup..-

Kuina shushed him for you, saying that she didn't mind some spicy noodles after an antire day of sleep. She also asked you if you had some extra cheese just in case and your eyes shined like never before. She was going to be your best friend period.

-I swear, if they find your little secret I will not have your back.- Chishiya said, leaving the room next, Kuina laughed at him and then came to see what else was avvailable in that shrine of yours.

Kuina kept asking questions and you you kept answering them, it wasn't akward at all, even because you were able to skip some if you felt like not wanting to share too much.

The girl looked behind you for a split second, you didn't notice to be honest, too immersed in your spicy ramen and extra cheese.

-Do you have other friends?- it wasn't meant in a bad connotetion and you knew it.

-Ann also is a good friend. She works with the police as a forensic analysist. She is a genius I'm telling you. The first time we meet was because of work.- you started to ramble about Ann and how closer you became with time that now you consider the woman like a big sister. You were in the middle of telling Kuina about how Ann and you almost got stucked in an escape room when one of the doctors came up to you.

-Rizuna's parents asked me to call you, she is awake and they would like you to be there.- he said and if you knew in witch room she was staying you would have already rushed there.

-Uhm...-

-Don't worry I'll be in our room if you need me. Now go.- you thanked her and then followed doctor Tanaka to your friend's room.

Once in Ann's room, you gave her a soft smile, eyes watering from the little scare she gave you and went to ask her how she was feeling and if she needed anything.

-I've had better days but I can't complain, at least I'm still alive. How are you?- you started talking, her parents in the little corner of the room looking at your little interaction, happy that their daughter found a good friends in you.

The next day you and Kuina kept getting to know eachother, you went to meet Chishiya in his room and then the three of you went to keep Ann some company since the poor thing wasn't able to leave the little space where she was confined.

You introduced your roommate to your dear friend and you noticed how easy was for them to talk to each other, it was like they meet before today. You smiled.

-You have to stop befriending everyone around you.-Chishiya told you from behind, you rolled your eyes.

-Whatever, but look at how cute they are together. Do you think they knew each other in another life?- you heard the man behind you whispering an annoyed "here we go again" -I'm serrious, look like them. Talking like they are the best of friends. I believe they meet before today.-

-That is not possible, just like...- Chishiya got interrupted by Kuina, the girl called your attention and asked you to come closer so you could play some cards games. -No thank you, I'm good here. I will watch you play.-

You were not accepting a no as an answer, no sir. You took his hand and walked him next to Kuina, you then went to the other side of the bed asking the girl to start and mix the cards. Chishiya tried to escape the situation but having all eyes on him, he thought it was better to not fight the three of you.

-Y/N you are going to pay for this.-

-Whenever you want, now stop being a kid and let's start.-

The first round was won by Kuina, who started a little victory dance, making all of you laugh, yes Chishiya too and when you pointed it out he turned serious in a second and took the cards all over the bed to play a second round. This time you ended up winning, which made your friend scoff and roll their eyes. A third round is played and so a fourth and a fifth and so on. It was fun, you had to admit it. Every time Kuina and Ann started talking you were so happy about it, so much you, you had the idea to set them uo and Chishiya, your childhood best friend saw through your smiley eyes and little smirk what was going on in that head of yours that decided to bring your presence away from the unknown couple.

-Get well soon Ann, and Kuina don't bother her too much, she needs rest.- he turned to you, inviting you to step away and follow him. -We have to talk now.-

-Shiya.... let me go. Man you are very annoying, let me play Cupid for once in my life.- you tried to go back, but the man was prepared and walked you to the other side. -You would make a terrible boyfriend.- you didn't mean it and he knew.

-Is your problem then.- you froze, was he implyig what you thought he was implying? Did he had romantic feelings for you? Or was he just playing around. When Chishiya didn't see by his side he turned to see what you were doing and when he saw you standing in the middle of the hallway he rolled his eyes. -Move now, we have to talk and I don't want some doctor or nurse spying on our conversation.-

You decided to let it slip, for now at least, and followed him in the garden in the back, you ended up in your favourite spot, away from everyone but still on hospital grounds.

-Now...- what he said didn't came to you as clear as you wish it did but the only think you got from his speech was "tomorrow"

#. a/n! — i have not finished season 2 yet, but i wrote this all in one sitting after seeing the first two episodes + falling for this silly man all over again lolol. i might branch out + write more for this fandom (but i will never write for niragi, so just a heads up on that!)

It really did just have to come to this, didn’t it?

Chishiya is a lot of things, but stupid isn’t one of them. He knows that when it comes to surviving in a place like this, there are times when you have to sacrifice others and be willing to carry that burden for the rest of your life. There is no easy way out. Either you die and go on to whatever happens next, —if anything happens at all— or you push others to the wayside in lieu of saving yourself, preserving your own survival, and you live to see the monster you inevitably become.

And call him crazy, but Chishiya was okay with becoming a monster if it meant he could save himself. Hell, he’d done so much of the work from the shadows that it would hardly be fair to let him of all people meet his tragic end here.

But you just couldn’t help yourself. You had to crawl under his skin, —make him care about you, make him fall so hard that he was left to question whose survival mattered more. When it came down to the wire. . .

He’d have chosen you.

That’s the scariest realization of all, he muses. These games, all the gunfire, all the explosions, all the fatal electric shocks. . . They paled in comparison to the realization that his biggest fear wasn’t his own demise anymore. It was yours.

As the game comes to a close and those of you left standing slowly reacclimate to the best state of normalcy one can muster up given the circumstances, he hates that his first instinct is to slip away, knowing you’ll find him soon enough. He may have been foolish enough to catch feelings, but he wasn’t so dumb that he’d show such a weakness around anyone else. Though he’s sure the likes of Kuina or Arisu have long since caught on, —he won’t be the one to confirm a damn thing, and he expects that you’ll keep your mouth shut about it as well. It’ll be a worse liability than it already is if word gets out to the wrong people.

Chishiya slips away before anyone has the chance to acknowledge his presence, leaving his absence unaccounted for by everyone but you. Of course, you noticed him sneaking away, parting from the group like a snake in the grass. . . You’ve always been a little too perceptive for your own good.

Fatigue claws at you like a famished predator, weighing your body down a great deal. You smell of sweat and the blood of the young girl next to you who hadn’t been quite so lucky. Still, you will your body forward and follow in Chishiya’s footsteps after lingering for just long enough to throw suspicion off your trail. While you certainly aren’t a master of manipulation, —you are clever in a way that even someone like Chishiya has to respect. You know how to take care of yourself, even in a twisted world like this.

He wishes knowing that gave him any kind of peace, but he’s afraid he’s reached the point of no return. It’s not that he doesn’t believe you can survive just about any of these games on your own. . . It’s that even if he does, the worry lingers just because it’s you.

Fuck.

He really can’t believe he’s done this to himself. It’s so untimely, so completely and utterly ridiculous, —so much so that he convinces himself his mind is just playing tricks on him sometimes until you fall into place at his side again and all such thoughts are forced out the window from his vice-like grip.

“Ugh,” you grumble, arm tucked below your chest as you cradle your own torso, “there you are.”

Chishiya offers you little more than a sidelong glance before returning his stoic gaze to the skyline. The sun sets as you bring yourself closer to him, keeping a comfortable distance. It ends up just like this far too often, and Chishiya frowns at the thought of closing the barely-there gap, brushing his shoulder against yours. Maybe later in the night when the lethargy really starts to hit him and his inhibitions lower ever so slightly, he’ll let himself fall apart just enough to hold you for whatever time of fleeting hours remains. That way, he can blame it on the fatigue, on the cold, on the temptation of sleeping next to a warm body.

It’s not because it’s you, it’s just because you’re there.

And maybe if that were the case, Chishiya wouldn’t be quite this frustrated.

“Surprised it took you so long to find me,” he says finally, keeping his eyes straight ahead. “You’ve been getting slower about it.”

“Oh, well excuse me for not rushing after you like a lion on a gazelle,” you answer sarcastically. “Not like my lungs almost gave out down there or anything.”

He doesn’t say it, —but he’d trade his breath for yours if it meant you could reach him faster.

“That one wasn’t so bad,” he shrugs. “We’ve both been through worse.”

His worst is just beginning, it seems. You close the gap yourself, resting part of your weight against him, and he feels his heart flip itself into a tailspin. For the first time in so long, Chishiya isn’t sure where to go from here. He’s trapped inside these feelings and they’re inching closer to swallowing him whole by the second. They run so deep he might as well be drowning in them.

“Easy for us to say, I guess,” you mumble. “We’re alive. Most people who end up here aren’t that lucky.”

“True enough,” he acknowledges softly, making no move to push you away.

He never does.

You stand in silence with him for a while, watching as the sky turns dark and the bright colors of the setting sun are swallowed up by a deep, velvety navy. There’re no stars to be seen, nothing for you to wish on. . . It’s a little childish, but any sliver of normalcy you can manage here, you’ll take with open arms. That’s why you let your feelings for Chishiya blossom freely, refusing to stifle your heart’s desires for the sake of some stupid game of life and death.

If I die right now, I’d rather do it with you than be alone.

Chishiya wishes you’d never said those words to him, —not because he doesn’t reciprocate, but because they resonated much too wholly for comfort. If he can help it, he won’t be going out in a place like this. But more than that, he can’t imagine letting your flame be snuffed out without a ravenous fight.

Silence reigns once again. It’s a characteristic feature of your gentler moments with Chishiya that are few and far between, but when they happen, you like to think you cherish them the best way you know how. Beyond that, you also like to think Chishiya finds even the slightest sliver of peace with you.

He doesn’t confirm or deny anything of the sort, but you wager that’s a flimsy yes at the very least when the tension in his shoulders melds away and his head rests gently against your own.

You can’t make any promises about tomorrow, —but for now, things are okay. And if that’s the best you’ll get here, then so be it.

Chishiya placed a hand on your back when you arrived to the game. He said that he only wanted to make sure you were following him since you never knew what may happen. Especially after you had to put on a collar.

You lost your ability to see as a child, but you were not helpless. You can navigate by making little noises like humming, and predict walls, stairs, distances, and much more. You could typically go around without assistance, but when there were a lot of people at a game or at the beach, you could get disoriented. You met Chishiya in a game and even saved his life thanks to your incredible hearing abilities and he hasn't left your side since.

"Do you hear this?", you inquired after coming to a halt.

You most likely arrived in the room where the game started. At the very least, Chishiya came to a stop. A strange noise was heard a few minutes later. Was it… skin slapping? Chishiya chuckled at your expression as you realized what it was.

More and more people entered the room, and with each one, you came closer to Chishiya. According to their steps, there are at least 21 people in here.

The rules were then explained, and your heart almost stopped beating. You couldn't help Chishiya. How was he going to survive? You couldn't tell him what his symbol was.

"Calm down," Chishiya said as he noticed you becoming anxious.

A girl approached you and invited you to join her group. Chishiya poked your arm, signaling that he was right and accepted her offer.

After a few rounds, nearly everyone was dead. Even Chishiyas' new friend died in the last round. He was a kind person, perhaps too kind for this world.

"Chishiya, I'm sorry.", you mumbled.

You sat down in the storeroom and drank a soda. A guy left just moments ago and he didn't want to tell Chishiya his symbol.

"It's not your fault.", he groaned as he rubbed his temple.

"You know something right? You need to know something. You always do."

"Not at the moment."

Chishiya stood up and walked away a few steps. You heard some rustling and a few moments later you felt something in your hand.

"What is this?" you questioned, attempting to guess the thing.

"My favorite snack in here," he grumbled.

Meanwhile, another person entered the room. It was the lady. The sound of her shoes was familiar to you.

"Would you mind telling me my symbol?"

Chishiya stood up to ask her, but all you could hear was rustling from the same direction Chishiya had been minutes before. Said man continued trying to convince her, but she turned around and headed straight toward you.

"Hey, could you please give me this?" she asked, undoubtedly pointing to the pack of cookies in your hand.

"They can't see what you're pointing at." Chishiya remarked instead.

"I'm sorry I didn't realize." The noises her clothes made and her silence meant she bowed, what made you chuckle.

"Just take it.", you said, perhaps a little harshly.

Did Chishiya knew that she was coming? Whatever his reasons were, the woman took the snacks and walked away quickly.

"She didn't even say thank you.", you muttered as Chishiya sat down for the third time.

"Maybe, but now I have a chance to win."

"What do you mean?", you asked confused, but still a bit happy.

"Sometimes it's annoying that you can't see, otherwise you would have noticed it too. I'll give you a hint: these cookies have four different flavors."

Four different flavors? What is the importance of this? After some thinking, you understood what he was talking about.

"She communicates with this other guy who was here earlier! I assumed they just ate a lot because they came here every round. So the bag cookies you handed me were the last of its kind?"

"Not exactly, I hid the rest, but it still worked. Matsushita, the guy who she cooperates with took the same one as her, even so she had hearts."

"So he is the jack of hearts!"

"Yes. So, based on Kotoko's response when I mentioned having clubs and the fact that Matsushita most likely lied. I must have diamonds or spades."

"At least you have a fifty-five chance now. Couldn't you just ask someone else?"

"That's not a good idea. The time is nearly over, and I'm not sure if they'll tell me the truth."

You both returned upstairs, but were interrupted by none other than the criminal himself.

"Hey you!" You stopped, but to your surprise Chishiya didn't.

"Who do you think is the jack of hearts?"

He caught you off guard, but you just brushed it off.

"Perhaps it's me."

"Than you would have a stupid strategy. Be honest."

"You're not dumb. Why don't you figure it out yourself? Must be easy with a partner like yours."

"Well then. This guy you're walking around with has a diamond. I hope you survive, the fun only starts now, would be a shame if you miss it."

You were eventually permitted to go after fourteen hours. Banda told Chishiya his symbol for the last round, and you thanked him excessively. He just laughed at you, but you didn't care.

"Hey, Y/n?", Chishiya asked when you walked away from the arena.

"Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, listen, I'm not a man of great words, but I want you to know how much you mean to me. That's why I don't want you to play in the next game, alright?"

"I don't want you to risk your life alone, Chishiya."

"I understand, and I also understand that the king of spades is dangerous, which is why you will wait near the arena. Nobody is playing games to extend their visa anymore. They are well aware that the end is near and that playing games is the only way to avoid the king of spades."

"Are you trying to say that my visa doesn't matter anymore, because we will get home soon?"

"I will make sure of it."

"Chishiya, you've changed. To be honest, when I first met you, I hated you."

"I don't blame you. Back then, I was a jerk."

"Yes you were.", you mumbled before leaning closer to him.

You kissed his cheek lightly, and Chishiya was relieved that you couldn't see him blush.

"I might have hated you before, but I can tolerate you now."

"Looks like more than tolerating to me.", he joked, throwing his arm over your shoulder. "You're lucky, I like you. When this is all over, maybe we should go on a date."

When you started walking, you smiled like a child. Perhaps you should, and perhaps he was right. Maybe it'll all be over soon.

A/N As someone who has almost a minus 6 on both eyes, this felt refreshing to write 😂

You sighed as you fiddled with your glasses, annoyed at the fact that they had broken halfway the game due to an angry woman who decided to punch you. The lenses were fine, stuffed deep into your pocket, but the frames were a goner. They were bent, the right temple was missing the screw and you were now officially blind. The people around you were now just blurs, colors blending together to create said blurs. Of course, the headache was also already starting to form and you had no doubt that it would turn into a heavy migraine after a few hours.

Of course, the loud chatter from your teammates just made everything worse. You'd make a comment, but you didn't feel like it and you also didn't know their names.

You felt the car come to a stop and stepped out, your legs wobbly as you tried to gain balance. You already had no sense of balance with glasses, so imagine what it was like without them and a vision that almost felt like blindness. The people with you scattered to their own places of enjoyment, while you just tried to not trip. You made it inside, luckily, and a figure approached you. You squinted, trying to figure out who it was until you recognized the blue color of Kuina's swimsuit and Chishiya dressed in his white sweater and swim shorts. Once they stood close enough, your vision focused a bit more as you squinted.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Kuina asked and you just held up your frames with a defeated look, causing Kuina to burst out laughing. You glared at her form pocketing the frames again before moving your eyes to Chishiya.

"How was your game?" "Boring, 8 of hearts." He mumbled as he walked past you and you frowned, turning around to watch his form with shock.

"A 8 of hearts?! How is that boring? It's terrifying!" You exclaimed, looking at Kuina for confirmation before turning back to follow Chishiya. Kuina was kind enough to make sure you didn't fall and to guide you through the crowd. It didn't take long for you to reach your room, laying on the bed with a sigh. Your head laid right next Chishiya's lap while Kuina sat near your legs, laying on top of you while chewing on her fake cigarette.

"So, how did those break?" Kuina asked as she watched you pull out the frames and lenses. You just sighed loudly, dropping the parts on the bedside table before explaining.

"Some lady got angry during the game and punched me... I was too bossy for her." You said and Kuina scoffed before turning so she quite literally laid on top of you, staring at you to continue your story.

"I didn't help after that and she died..." You continued, earning a snort from Chishiya and both you and Kuina looked up in surprise. He gave you a side glance, but no one said anything.

"So, what about you Kuina?" "Oh my god, okay! So, I was in the same game as Ann-" She started ranting happily and you did your best to follow along to her speed talk. One thing about Kuina was that she got too fast to follow when she got excited to talk about it. While you paid close attention, neither you nor Kuina noticed that Chishiya had picked up the remains of your glasses and started to toy with them.

Kuina had been talking for an hour when she finally decided to get some sleep, getting up and leaving the room with Chishiya not far behind to return to his own. You laid down in the bed again, eyes moving to look at your broken glasses only to see them mildly fixed.

The lenses were back in the frames, the right temple was back attached and the bridge was back to being unbend.

You couldn't help but smile, knowing that it was Chishiya had fixed it. You didn't know how, but you honestly didn't really care as you laid on your side while staring at the glasses with a bright smile.

Alice in Borderland Headcanons

Asking you on a date PART 1:

Arisu Poor boy would be so nervous, He literally doesn’t have a life outside of his games, so he doesn’t know how to ask you out. Would most likely not know what to wear either. Karube and Chota are there to help of course. Karube is giving him tips and Chota’s fussing over Arisu like a mother, telling him his hair is unkempt and his outfit looks so grubby, proceeding to search through Arisu’s cabinet for something decent.

Karube It isn’t a problem for him but he’s nervous. This wasnt the first time he’d be asking someone out, but this was the only time he was serious about someone. Which meant he actually wanted to date you, get married to you, have a family with you. He can barely contain his excitement as he’s walking to your place, making sure there aren’t any creases in his polo shirt, that his hair is neatly combed back, and the flowers he got for you are still fresh.

Chota This shy cutie probably doesn’t have the guts to confess and ask you out, so he goes to Arisu and Karube. Arisu obviously doesn’t know what to do, but he does tell Chota to get rid of his bank uniform because he looks like a nerd, and teases him by telling him you weren’t into nerds. Karube scolded Arisu, then gave Chota a paper with his script that he can practice while on the way to your house. Poor baby probably stammers through practicing and can’t focus because all he can think of is the moment he finally asks you out.

Shibuki No doubt she’ll probably just pull you to her by the waist and whisper her confession into your ears. She doesn’t even flinch and she delivers her confession beautifully.

Chishiya He isn’t the type to be romantic, but he’ll definitely try his best just to make you happy. He’ll probably ask you out to a cafe after his shift, or he’ll prepare a meal to have a picnic with you at the park. While the both of you are on a stroll he’ll hold your hand discreetly and like the smooth genius he is, he’ll confess and ask you on another possible date.

Kuina It isn’t anything special. You both hang out a lot, so it wasn’t hard for her to ask if you wanted to come over and make ramen or watch movies together. Once you both were hanging out for quite a while, in the middle of watching a movie she’ll scoot closer to you and lay your head on her shoulder before kissing it and she’ll confess her feelings to you, and that she understands if you don’t feel the same. Kuina’s pretty chill about it, but inside she’s bursting with excitement and nervousness.

The girl continued to hold a grin while looking around the place and stopping next to a women with red long hair and a mix of green and white pale skin her outfit made by all sorts of green plants the women cracked a grin when seeing the familiar girl with a white face pain and black mask wearing a jester hat that was the colors Red and Black just like Jester outfit waving at the girl "Y/N here" She said waving

Y/N rushed to the red head and hugging her tightly while shouting "Red~!" happily her cherry voice shouted through the crowd the group getting some stares and shrugged it off while Ivy replied back softly patting the jester girls head "Quinny" The jester girl giggled grabbing Ivy "Okay let's go back to our lovely new home my wonderful Wife!" Y/N said hopping and making grabby hands while Ivy decided to hold the briefcase so both of them can interlock hands properly.

I remained silent, allowing him to continue speaking. When she remained silent I had no choice but to insist.

"What do you mean?" I repeated, at the risk of sounding irreverent.

-Her eyes, 'Shiya- I suppressed a shudder at the nickname. Only she could call me that- It's all in her eyes. The eyes are the mirror of the soul. Did you know that?

-I had heard something.

When you met him, it was a warm summer day. A gentle wind helped to cool everyone off, and your friends encouraged you to hang out later that day. What you didn't know was that you were going to cancel later that day.

You were leaving school and passed by a small alleyway when you heard whimpering. You were frightened at the time, but you chose to look regardless. Your panic vanished as you recognized it as a boy's uniform from your school.

His face was bruised, and judging by his cowering posture, he was clearly in a lot of pain. He winced as he heard your footsteps. His eyes were closed, and you could sense him shiver.

"It's OK. I will not harm you. Hey, my name is Y/n."

He must have been expecting someone else since he looked up with hesitation. That was putting it mildly, because his left eye was so swollen that he couldn't see through it.

You smiled at him, attempting to comfort him, and he swore he felt his heart skip a beat.

Some days, he just disappeared, leaving no trace of where he had go or when he would return. You suspected him of cheating once, but you immediately forgot about it. His appearance had altered, but he was still the lovable Niragi you'd met in that alleyway years before.

He began to speak to you less and less. Sometimes he didn't speak to you at all; he went before you woke up and came back when you were asleep. His messy side of the bed, which was still warm and smelt like him, was the only sign that he was even there. It made everything hurt even more.

You wanted for this relationship to work. You still loved him and were concerned that he had lost interest in you. Just because he would never cheat on you does not mean he can't stop loving you. Your heart had been taken by this man. Years ago, he ripped it out of your chest and kept it. He seemed to have forgotten about this now.

You'd had enough of this bullshit after two more years. There were days when he behaved normally, and then there were days when he was angry at you for no apparent reason, or when you didn't see him at all. Every time you brought it up, he became enraged, and even though you still didn't want to end the relationship, it felt like the only thing you could do.

You tried to listen. You tried to be there for him. You really did. It just didn't work, and your relationship most likely didn't either.

You need to think about everything away from him, therefore the invitation you received from a high school friend was ideal.

They lived in a small town near Tokyo, so it wouldn't be too far away, but it would work just fine. Niragi didn't care when you told him, but you weren't surprised at this point. Even though you knew this relationship stopped working a while ago, it was still hard to make this decision. It wouldn't be worth your time to attempt to repair this broken relationship. You really wanted to break up with him, but then something very unlikely happened.

Some would call it fate; others would call it something worse than a nightmare; but it wasn't either for you. A meteor landed in Tokyo, specifically in Shibuya.

After hearing the news, you were concerned and called Niragi. Of course, he didn't answer the phone. He has no reason to. Perhaps he wasn't even injured and simply didn't pick up. It wasn't unlikely for him at this point.

Even if you wanted to end the relationship, you still cared about him. So you went back home earlier than anticipated, searching first your apartment, then his favorite spots, and then—after your worst fears came true—you checked every hospital near the scene of the accident.

Finally, when you asked for your boyfriend of so many years and room number, one receptionist nodded. As fast as you could, you made your way to his room. Because of the large number of injured people, this hospital, like all the others, were overflowing.

You ran into yet another while attempting to dodge the people who didn't watch where they were going. He smiled sheepishly as he pulled you out of his chest. You were greeted by a short man. His hair was colored white, but the natural color was already peeking through. He was just leaving Niragis' room, but based on his attire, he was also a patient.

"I apologize. I attempted to avoid-" You attempted to justify your carelessness, but the person who had almost run into you had vanished.

"Yeah, whatever. You must be Y/n. Niragi wasn't lying when he bragged about you," he said, rolling his eyes at the memory.

"What did he do? You must have misunderstood him. But, anyway, I am Y/n. You are?"

"Chishiya. Now I have to keep going. Niragi is alone right now, but keep it together. When I return, I want a child-safe zone," he snickered as he walked away.

Strange guy. You dismissed the topic and reached for the handle. Should you knock on the door? On the other hand, what could he possibly be up to? You still knocked before gently opening the door.

The nurses had already informed you about his situation, but you ignored them. He was still alive, and that was all that counted for now.

"Suguru," you whispered when you sat down on his bed, examining his injuries.

"God, you are so pretty, N/n."

Before the accident, he had never said anything like this. This was very out of style for him. Not to add that he hadn't called you N/n in a long time.

"I apologize for what I did, N/n. I haven't told you in months, but I love you. It's fine if you want to end our relationship with me; I treated you like crap and I don't deserve better. So now I look like the terrible guy I am."

"Do not say anything like that. It seems that your near-death experience changed you. I truly wanted to end things with you. But I haven't heard you talk to me like this in a long time. What do you think? Do you deserve another chance?"

"No," he said firmly. "Obviously I don't, but I would love another chance. I had nearly forgotten how much you meant to me. I'm sorry it took all of this for me to realize that you are the only thing worth living for. All I want now is for you to be happy. And maybe you could be happy with me."

"What even happened?" you asked.

"I got in touch with the wrong people. I wanted to keep you safe. I should've told you, but I was frightened you'd leave me. You deserve so much more than me," he said as he closed his eyes. "You should definitely break up with me, but let me say it one more time. Y/n, I love you. I love you so much. You made me feel valued when I felt like no one cared."

You would never have imagined Niragi would say something like this.

"I'd want to try again. But. We can't just pretend nothing happened. We must begin from the start."

"I know. I know. However, you are worth it. You are worth every second of my time. If you ever want something, don't hold back and tell me. I might not be able to give you everything, but I will try."

You'd gotten him back. You'd gotten your old Niragi back.

Because of the fire, his lips weren't as soft as they used to be, but I t was good to be this close to him again. Feeling his breath on your face, his heart racing as you got closer. It was as if you were a teenager again.

"Disgusting," was murmured, but both you and Niragi most definitely heard it.

Requested by anonymous: Ok, hear me out. Chishiya x Arisu! reader where the reader is Arisu's sister and angst than to fluff plz.

Pairing: Chishiya Shuntaro x Arisu!reader

A/N Hope you enjoy this short imagine. Also, totally off point, but I recently started watching some other series with Nijirô Murakami in it. That being said, his roles are so diverse with kind of shocked me. Really recommend his drama Aogeba Toutoshi, it's a series about a music (brass) club. I really liked it and it's only 8 episodes long, but warning it's not a super happy ending.

Chishiya didn't know what to think when he saw you getting dragged in by someone. Especially the fact that you were covered from head to toe in blood, wounds covering your whole body and gashes that were deep enough to make even a doctor faint.

Next to him, Arisu had lost it while Usagi tried to calm the screaming man down. He didn't even move as you were brought to Ann's lab, the ringing in his ears didn't stop and he felt like it ingulfed him as a whole. He watched the others run inside, ignoring the spots that blinded his vision. He just stood outside by the pool, letting his thoughts race through his head and create pure chaos.

It took him minutes before realizing that he was still in the same position as before and that was all it took for him to move, storming through the halls until he stood in front of Ann's lab. He froze again as he noticed your body on the table, watching as Ann stitched up your wounds while Kuina and Usagi put pressure on your all your other wounds as best as they could. Arisu, on the other hand, stood on the side as he tried to not panic and it was clear to anyone that he was failing miserly at that. The teeth marks on his hands proved the point even more.

Slowly, Chishiya made his way inside and stood next to the table and he could see that you were awake. Your eyes were screwed shut, biting your lip to stop yourself from screaming and Chishiya didn't stop himself to take your hand. For just a second, your eyes opened and you looked at him before you closed them again in pain while squeezing his hand. He didn't react, even though he felt like his hand would break any second because of your grip. Not much later, you fell unconscious and the grip on his hand lessened.

"She'll have to rest for a few days and the wounds have to be rebandaged everyday." Ann said and everyone else nodded while Kuina lifted you to take you to your room, pausing when she passed Chishiya.

"Do you mind taking her, she's a bit more heavier than I thought." She gave him a cheeky smile, but Chishiya ignored it as he took ahold of you before walking to your room. He only noticed when he entered that no one had followed him, leaving him alone in your room. You were still unconscious, peacefully breathing and Chishiya felt a bit better seeing that you weren't in pain at the moment. He sat down in a chair next to the bed before closing his eyes, waiting until you woke up and eventually falling asleep.

You woke up hours later, first noticing that you weren't in Ann's lab anymore and instead in, what you assumed to be, your own room. You sat up, hissing as your wounds started to sting before looking around again. It was morning, the sunrays shining through the curtains and illuminating the room.

In turn, it also illuminated Chishiya.

The sun brightened up his figure, reflecting on his pale hair and showing details on his face. Almost like he could hear your thoughts, his eyes opened and lazily moved his eyes to your form. You could see his eyes widen slightly, not enough for it to be obvious of course, and you could only smile in return as he sat up in his chair.

"You're up." He stated and you couldn't help but snort before hissing again, your hand covering the wound on your side. Chishiya stood up, pushing you down before lifting your shirt a bit and taking off the bandage to check the wound.

"Does it look bad?" You asked, staring at the ceiling since you weren't too good with blood and such. Chishiya hummed and you looked at him before sighing softly.

"You're handsome..." You mumbled and he looked up at you through his lashes before focusing back on your wound, covering it with a fresh bandage. When he stood up, you were quick to pull him closer and wrapping your arms around his neck. Without having to say anything, he placed himself next to you and buried his face into the crook of your neck. He was extra careful to not lay on your wounds and you could only smile at his attitude. Sometimes, if you were lucky enough of course, he was like a clingy cat. It was a rare sight, but you enjoyed it nonetheless.

It was break from the hell around you, like everything was normal again and you'd just go to work tomorrow. It felt domestic...
