This piece took me like ~4 hours from sketch to finish and wow was it four hours. I *like* how it turned out but more than that I’m proud that I actually did it. This is the first real finished piece I’ve done in forever. And more than that this is piece I really experimented with. I’ve got an undercolor or whatever it’s called and colored the lineart( albeit quickly) as well. This is the first time I really tired using the lasso tools for certain parts and oh man procreate was not agreeing with me. I’m really proud of how it turned out even as I can’t help but see the errors lol. Anywyas love sapphics peace and love on planet earth.

i used to be so good at writing strong, thoroughly-researched, thoroughly-edited essays.

as a kid in hs, my teacher literally came up to me, holding my 40 page essay on the intersection of the European witch hunts and capitalism/exploitation/gender roles (it was supposed to be 7 pages...whoops) and went like "this is literally a master's-degree level thesis. what are you doing?? you could literally use this as your final dissertation in a master's program, what the fuck."

NOW??? NOW?? you'd think I'd be oh so skilled. but alas. i can barely piece together two ideas. adhd skill-regression is so so real. im SOBBING

Can't take this emotional roller coaster of the last few hours anymore. Absolute delight at the Barbie movie to inexplicable emotional breakdown when my prescription wasn't ready to collect even when I ordered it over a week ago and don't have any left, to all warm fuzzies seeing my dog when I got home, to utter despair that my tumblr app has finally updated itself to having the live button and stuff that people have been complaining about for months.

anyone else have multiple traumatic memories associated specifically with holidays/family vacations? because that is a topic I never see discussed in all the So You Had A Shitty Childhood, Now What? self-help books i've been reading. but for me, it was a significant thing. and the more i think about it the more it seems like this would be an (unfortunately) common experience. would be grateful to hear if this matches other peoples' experiences...

When danny became the ghost king, as a precaution in cause the Disband GIW were to find his dead body and possibly desecrated and dissect it. He had put plans to send his corpse into the middle of space of another dimension for safekeeping until later. Frostbite help made a special casket large enough as he had told Danny that his corpse body will grow into his true form.

He gotten help from the ghostly arachnids to make the finest silk clothes for his corpse along with extinct flowers across the ghostzone. That even got Dani and Dan wanted to leave their corpses with danny for safekeeping and to keep him company.

That was literally eon ago in time in Danny's dimension timeline..

Only until the casket bumped into watchtower.

There was three bodies whom seem to be sleeping in a cuddle like pile, holding each other hands. A white hair man, a teenage boy and a young girl wearing royal like silk clothes, floating aurora like crowns on their heads, and flowers extinct yet still thriving in the casket as they remain blooming.

Only for superman to say something that made everyone panic a bit.

Danny grumbles, going limp as the Spirit plucked him up, holding him out like some sort of stray cat. Their golden eyes stared across him, white hair shimmering and bloodied feathers rustling as they tilted their head. 

“You sure he’s not somehow ours?” Bludhaven asks again, setting him down once more to circle. Amity laughs, wild hair the color of wheat fluttering in a non-existent breeze and portal pulsing like a heart as she rests a hand on his head. 

“Well darlin’, I am asking if you would be open to adopting,” the Spirit laughs, the sound as familiar as the birds outside his window in the mornings. “Well, I suppose I could always ask your dear sister Arkham-” 

“No no, I would be honored,” Bludhaven smiled a literally sharp grin, something mischievous and violent about it in a way Danny was slowly growing used to. “I’m just- look at the little ghostling! He looks like he could be from ours! My hair, your eyes… he’s just missing markings…” 

“Markings he’ll get once you give me an answer darlin’...”

“OH- Yes, of course! Sorry, I got whelmed there.” 

“You have been stalking your vigilante a bit too much there Blud.”

Just got back from seeing The Lost Boys at my local cinema and oh my god was it one of the best nights of my life.

I got to go with a really good friend of mine that I hadnt seen for two years and it was so good catching up with her again and have her experience a movie she hadnt seen for a while.

Seeing the characters on the big screen was amazing and with the surround sound i was able to hear everything so clearly especially the soundtrack, had to stop myself from singing cry little sister and people are strange lol. Literally felt like I was in the movie with the music and dialogue being so loud and I was grinning the entire time c:

Seeing the boys on the big screen so clearly was amazing too and me and my friend kept giggling to eachother when they were on the screen 💀

I had forced myself to not watch the movie at home once I had planned to go so it was extra exciting for me to final get to watch it again after forcing myself not to for weeks.

The audience was really good too, it wasnt completely packed which I like and it was so great to be able to laugh with other people who also loved the movie.

I think the only annoying part was someone near the front took a few pictures every now and again and left their flash on each time but it didng take away from my enjoyment. (bit miffed at myself for not getting any pictures myself but there was a few people behind me so I didnt.°^°)

Overall a really perfect evening and I cant reccomend it enough for people to try and watch TLB at a cinema if you ever get the chance too it was incredible <:
