D&D in general
D&D podcasts in general
Etc.
Etc.
Etc.
I would recommend you to start here (The editing gets worse episode 2 and better as it goes on)
This is available on most audio platforms. I will probably posting about this quite a lot because this is a project I am very proud of.
This is why I’ve put of listening to anything dmed by Brennan lee mulligan
Cause I’m not even 10 minutes into my first episode of demenion 20 and I already know how impressive he is. This is why the dm I aspire to be like are Anthony Burch and grizzley cause they don’t feel as imposing Ah
The boys are huntin' a killer this week with The Watcher, starring Keanu Reeves. Grab your red string and badge, because things are about to get inquisitive. Jokes this week including: Seattle's Best Place to Get Murdered, Luke's kryptonite, a big wet surprise and Keanu doing a little dance.
I needed to figure out how to do certain things on Audacity for podcast stuff. So I figured, might as well make it interesting. Cue an impromptu shanty chorus.
Apologies if it's a little rough. (Not warmed up, and my mum was sleeping). But I think I like the result anyway.
You get to spend hours just vibing with your best mates when you record especially if you have snacks between episodes.
The characters from my podcast are all tailored for the voice actors and we all have so much fun playing cryptids and gods alike.
Researching episodes can enlighten you to so many things you would have never known existed from bugs to atmospheric electrodynamicists!
You get to meet like minded people from all over the world who enjoy the same things as you.
Your podcast can be about whatever you like! While mine is a goblincore mess of lore with funky topics you can make whatever you can dream of with the right mindset.
Sara, Luke, and Sam go on the greatest of adventures with The Princess Bride! Listen along as Sara delves into the fascinating world of the criminally underappreciated Greek novels, and everyone has a whale of a time with this classic film!
After a few months my podcast is finally streaming on both Spotify and Apple Podcasts! The intro trailer is up as of yesterday and an episode will be out shortly.
Happy Spring, the season to get cozy during a storm, find an episode to listen to, then slay your day 🌧️
The boys are heading out west this week with My Own Private Idaho, starring Keanu Reeves. Things get a little Shakespearean, but uh. Only a little. Come along for this surreal ride with jokes including: Dad-Watch intensifies, lots of fart wafting, having a truly excellent day, Iowa confusion, and some small sky discussions.

Pick a theme! Get a basic idea of what you want your world to revolve around and this can be anything from nature (like mine) space or technology and any time from the future to the past to an alternate timeline
Work out characters! You'll need voice actors to play all of your characters so bring them in to help create characters that fit both the story and them in the long run. I find making sheets with outfit ideas and stats like a video game for each character really helps me figure out who they are
Write your storyline! Whether you come up with vague plot points to work from or a fifty episode plan scripted word for word, come up with a way of staging your story that works for you. Leave room to improvise for an authentic feel but you can start anywhere from just telling it like a prologue to an isolated incident that leads to the story at large. Do you!
I know that this hellsite is bad for promo, but I'd like to shout-out the podcast I do with my partner! Summary + CW info under the break!
We put each other in odd scenarios that we have to work through in character as ourselves! It's like a TTRPG, just without the dice or roleplaying. We get up to some goofy shit, and it's (typically) pretty lighthearted.
We also have content warnings on our main website for each episode. You can get there by hitting the "main website" button at the top of our Carrd, then going to the "content warnings" section! General CW for language.
